Let us go over all those benefits so you know what your rights 'benefits' are with God. Forgiveness – You have the right to be forgiven. Romans 10:9-10 NKJV 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Water Baptism – You have the right to be baptized. John 3:5 NKJV 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Water baptism takes you into the ministry and changes you as a person forever. Once you call on Jesus to save you and then are baptized, you are a new creature. And that creature has the right to propagate. 2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Mark 16:15 NKJV 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Faith – You have the right to have Faith. Hebrews 11:1 NKJV 11 Now faith is the [a]substance of things hoped for, the [b]evidence of things not seen. Faith is what moves God. Healing – You have the right to be healed. 1 Peter 2:24 NKJV 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose [a]stripes you were healed. God wants to and loves to heal. Healing comes by faith and the above point shows you have the right to have faith. Jesus did all the work and God is just looking for faith the size of a mustard seed. Gifts of the Holy Spirit – You have the right to have gifts from the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NKJV 4 There are [a]diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works [b]all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by [c]the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. Fruits of the Holy Spirit – You have the right to product fruit within you that is of God. Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 [a]gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And I could go on. The benefits from the Lord outweighs everything we face. Don’t you know that Satan is a puppet of God and must do what God tells him? ​ Job 1:12 NKJV 12 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your [a]power; only do not lay a hand on his person.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord. That means there is no God vs Satan. It’s just God and He’s in control. The above rights are just the tip of the iceberg – the surface of the much more He has for you.     Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY DO NOT GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT Ephesians 4:30 “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” In Ephesians chapter four Paul is dealing with the church from the perspective of what God’s call is to the body of Christ for ministry, Paul is dealing with all levels of ministry. By the time that he gets to the end of the chapter he adds the above warning: Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, almost as a redundant warning of something that should have been obvious to all who were serving our Lord back then, and that is that, without the Holy Spirit there is no true ministry. ​ Unfortunately, what was very clear to the believers of Paul’s day has become somewhat muddled in our present time, because there are many ministries today that do not function under the unction of the Holy Spirit. Let us begin under the assumption that the ministers and ministry types that we are going to examine here, are all called by God and abide in true service to God; then let us ask this question: How do I personally, and how do we as a body, keep from grieving the Holy Spirit of God when rendering to Him what is our due reverence to Him, our service? Number One: We need to know what our calling is! Ephesians 4:1 “I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called.” Not knowing what our calling is, and that we are all called, will surely hinder in us the flow of the Holy Spirit that is so vital for our spiritual growth, and so necessary for our training and edification. Imagine getting hired to work in a large department store or factory, and when we get there we have no idea as to what place or division we are to report to. We wouldn't just start working and serving aimlessly somewhere in that place in the hope that somebody from the placement department that hired us to begin with will eventually find us and send us to our proper destination. Yet, that is what many Christians do, after they get saved instead of seeking what God’s ministry and calling is for them, they just serve out of place where others are glad to have their help, but it will not profit the person that is in the wrong place any, because as far as management is concerned, they did not show up to work where they were needed. Number Two: We need to have the right attitude, a humbled spirit! Ephesians 4:2-3 “With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another with love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” There are some that after they get saved, have a desire to serve in a ministry that they are not called to perform, because in their eyes this other ministry is a more glamorous ministry than the one, they know they were called to; this too is grievous to the Holy Spirit. So that we are not only supposed to be in the right ministry, but we also need to have the right attitude about the ministry that we are in. Humility includes lots of patience also, and patience is needed because in a sense we are all in training. If we think that we can do a better job at what another person has been called to do, our tendency might be that of doing their part just because we can do it better and or faster than they can, and by us doing what they are supposed to be doing, we hinder their calling to the point that they will never get the training necessary to eventually fulfill their calling. I was involved in the making of a TV commercial once for the company that I worked for at that time. The setting was in a beautiful three story house in Malibu, California, overlooking the Pacific Ocean . I was spraying the outside stucco of the house with a life long texture coating material, the owner of the company had arranged for a Hollywood crew that filmed commercials to be there the day that I was spraying. After they finished filming my part, they set up to the side of the house a tarp over the grass and put a bucket of paint into which one of the commercial making crew was to through a paint brush into, to make the emphasis that if you put our product on your house you could get rid of your paint and brushes, for you would never have to paint again. There were about eight people in the commercial filming crew, and this one fellow was assigned the task of throwing the brush into the paint bucket, a smile still comes to my face as I am telling you the story, for this fellow could not hit the inside of the bucket no matter how hard the poor fellow tried. Take after take, changing the angle, getting closer to the bucket, nothing, they tried everything. Others on the crew would have no problem hitting the inside of the bucket in just one or two tries, to which somebody in the filming crew suggested to the director that they might have to use somebody other than the person that was assigned for that job originally, so that they could get the commercial done. To my amazement, the director told them that this fellow was hired by the commercial company for that purpose and that the company knew best, and that they would be there until that poor fellow got the brush into the bucket. Encouraged by the unshaken commitment of his boss as to what his calling was, the young man got the brush in the bucket in the very next take, the cheers from all of us who were there were heard all the way back to Los Angeles. But I learned a spiritual lesson that day that has served me well through the years. When it comes to God’s calling for a person’s life, only God knows the magnitude and the impact that His gift and calling will have in that person’s life, and after all is not how you begin, but the depth of your heart’s commitment to your call that really matters. So that when serving the Lord in ministry, as I recognized the gift and the calling of God upon a person that was serving in whatever ministry it was that I was in charged of at the time, I would immediately set out to help them to develop their gifts no matter how inept or uncomfortable they appeared at first, knowing that someday that person would glorify Jesus in the exercising of their calling. I found out that if I kept getting myself replaced by somebody that was better than me at whatever it was that I was doing, that the body of Jesus was being edified and better served, after all that is what really matters. Ephesians 4:4-7 “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.” Although each one of us receives personal gifts, these gifts are always for the purpose of enabling and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the One body of Christ. Ephesians 4:12-13 “For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” Number Three: Know what the function and emphasis of the five different offices of ministry are, for they embodied the qualities of leadership under which the church is and should be governed. Ephesians 4:11 “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers.” The church represents the physical body of Christ here on the earth, a physical body has five different senses, vision, hearing, smell, taste, touch, by which it navigates through life. The five offices of ministry are a spiritual representation of those five senses through which the body of Christ operates here on the earth. In order for us to be more effective in ministry, we need to know under which of those five offices, or combination of these offices, any given ministry into which we are involve with its functioning, for the spiritual emphasis will be different under each one of these five offices. Isaiah 29:10 “For the Lord has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets; and He has covered your heads, namely the seers.” Here we see how the Lord uses that metaphor against Israel. Their eyes represent the spiritual vision that enables their prophets to prophesy God’s Word to the nation, and if you cover the entire head, they are no longer even able to process the Word of God that they already had. The Apostolic and the Prophetic Ministries In our present day the apostles and their apostolic ministry, along with the prophets and their prophetic ministry, represent the foundation upon which the entire church is built. Ephesians 2:20-22 “Having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building (the church), being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.” If an apostle is one who lays the foundation, and he is, then no other foundation can be laid but that which has already been laid by the founding apostles, and all true prophets will testify to that. 1 Corinthians 3:11 “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” The apostolic ministries of today are ministries that start brand new churches in places where no other churches existed before, but if their foundation is not that which has already been laid, then that ministry is not part of the building of God, for it has not been erected on the original foundation which Christ laid when He built His church. The ministry of today’s prophets is not the same as it was for the prophets of Jesus’ days, for through their prophetic ministry God gave to us the books that comprise the New Testament through which the foundation of the church was established, hence: Having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets there is nothing new that we can add. However, the prophets of today are the ones that proclaim that which was prophesied by the prophets of old, in both the Old and New Testaments, as being extremely relevant to what is going on in the world of today, they keep God’s yet to be fulfilled promises alive to the present generation. Also, the prophets of today testify against the so-called churches that are not built on the solid foundation of God’s apostolic church but are built on a deviation of what God originally intended His church to be built on. And if you are involved in an apostolic ministry that aims to start new churches where none ever existed before, make sure that they are being built in the apostolic pattern laid out for us in the New Testament, and in you helping them, model your service to them in the same manner that those who helped the apostles build their churches back then did, that is why we have His Word in the New Testament to aid us. The Evangelistic Ministry An evangelist is one who preaches the Gospel for the purpose of making converts. You may ask, how does that differ from one who teaches and by his teaching leads others to the Lord? Or from a pastor who preaches and makes converts through his preaching? Salvation is not limited to any one ministry, for the Holy Spirit convicts' sinners every time the Word of God is proclaimed no matter who proclaims it. But just like the eye may see something and it is confirmed by the ear hearing something, the evangelistic ministry is designed to work hand in hand with the other two. The heart of a true evangelist however is in leading sinners to Christ, he is not as concerned with who is going to disciple the convert, or who is going to teach them spiritual principles, for the evangelist knows that that is the work of the church. 2 Timothy 4:5 “But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” The Ministry of the Pastor The ministry of the pastor revolves around the task of keeping the flock together, as his title implies. A pastor’s main concern is that of maintaining the house/church in proper working order. He not only feeds the flock with the Word of God, but he also steers it away from danger. God has appointed the pastors as the overseers of the spiritual heath and well being of the flock. If the enemy, like a wolf, comes against one of the members of his church, that enemy will have to go through that pastor’s authority and watchful eyes in order to get to that member. So that the pastor is not overwhelmed by all his responsibilities, God brings into the church teachers, evangelists, administrators, and divers helps, that means everybody in the congregation, that allows that pastor to focus his energy into keeping his flock safe from spiritual attacks. If a pastor surrounds himself with wise elders that will inform and advise him truthfully about the spiritual condition of the church, what they see from their perspectives, that pastor will have everything that he needs to maintain his people safe, but if he ignores their wise counsel, his people will suffer the consequences. Nothing worse than a pastor that thinks that he knows everything, even David a wise shepherd himself, needed the counsel of the seers that God provided and surrounded him with. A pastor’s ministry is to build others up and not to tear them down, his ministry can be summed up by this verse of Scripture: Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” The Ministry of the Teacher Matthew 13:52 “He said to them, ‘Therefore every teacher of the law (the Word of God) who has been instructed about the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.’” NIV Jesus really paints it with this verse as to what the nature and calling of a teacher really is. I once, during a time of fellowship with some very close friends who were asking if we could play some kind of constructive word game, suggested to them that we pretend that we were stranded in a desert island without our Bibles, and told them, let us see how much of John chapter one we can recreate from memory, and after we have exhausted every one of our recollections we will look it up and see how well we did. Well to begin with we could not even remember how many verses were in the whole chapter, can you without looking it up? A teacher of the Word of God may not really be able to literally, from his memory, have the ability to reconstruct all or even parts of the Word of God, but the essence of what that chapter was about was firmly etched in my heart. For that word had become real in my heart, and I went on to preach from it that night without opening a Bible. So that the ministry of a teacher of the Word of God is to store in the storeroom of his heart, the essence of the revelation that the Word of God brings to his enlightenment. To treasure the revelation that the Holy Spirit reveals into his heart to such a point that, they not only remember the revelation, but how it made them feel and the circumstances that brought the revelation about. An anointed teacher can be likened to a spiritual reservoir that can bring to a thirsty church rivers of living waters in the time of drought. 1 Samuel 3:1, 19 “Now the boy Samuel ministered to the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was rare in those days; there was no widespread revelation...So Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him and let none of his (God’s) words fall to the ground.” Back to Deliverance Ministry

    Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY SPIRITUALITY VERSES CARNALITY 1 Corinthians 3:1 “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.” A spiritual Christian is a mature Christian, and a carnal Christian is one who does not have a clue as to what spirituality is really all about. It is odd that in some church settings, spiritual Christians are frowned upon as being way out there, out of the main stream, they are almost ashamed to acknowledge them, while their carnal counterparts or more worldly minded Christians are held with high regard for being more in touch with the reality of life, in their more balanced relationship with the world system. ​ Let’s face it, spiritual truths are always at odds with the physical realities. I see programs on TV all the time trying to explain biblical events, not just secular programs, some Christian shows as well, that try to make carnal sense of events that can only be interpreted through the eyes of faith in the word of God. Paul’s complaint to the Corinthians is that he cannot address them with the meat of spiritual truth because they are like infants holding on to their baby bottles. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like to know the mechanics of how things work more than anybody else, but I am humbled enough to know that while I am in this body of flesh, I am limited in my ability to fully understand spiritual mysteries. If I do not fully understand something, I am comfortable enough in my belief that it happened the way that God said it happened, and my faith does not require any further explanation. 1 Corinthians 3:2-3 “I fed you with milk and not solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal…” Paul, while under his apostolic ministry and anointing, was privy to the revelation of the mysteries that had been hidden from the sages of old and was extremely eager to share those revelations that he had received with all his converts. But imagine his frustration with the inability of many of his converts to receive the revelation of those spiritual mysteries that he treasured. 2 Peter 3:15-16 “And consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable (carnal) people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.” Peter himself acknowledges the gift that God had invested in the apostle Paul, and recognizes the fact that it takes spiritual maturity to receive the understanding of many of the mysteries that Paul was revealing in his teachings to the churches. How does a carnal babe in Christ become a spiritually mature servant? 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” The majority of Paul’s converts got saved by the demonstration of God’s Spirit and power moving in their midst as Paul preached to them, so that it was the supernatural manifestation of God’s power among them that confirmed the truth of what Paul was preaching to them, not human logic. Now Paul is teaching them that in order for them to become spiritual they have to follow the same pattern, spirituality does not come through persuasive words of human wisdom, but rather through the manifestation of God’s Spirit and power, that in many instances defy human logic. 1 Corinthians 2:6-7 “However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in an mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory.” The wisdom that makes us spiritual is like an encoded mystery that was deposited into our newly recreated born-again spirit-man when we got saved, which only the Holy Spirit can reveal or decode in those who through the agency of faith and trust in the word of God, will be able to receive and understand. 1 Corinthians 2:10-11 “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the sprit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except (unless) the Spirit of God (reveals them to us).” The spiritual mystery or quality that enables a believer to become spiritual or mature, has already been deposited into our recreated spirit-man, but the revelation or unlocking of those mysteries are left to the Spirit of God who searches the human spirit that dwells within our heart, to see if spiritual fruit it's been produced by our spirit. 1 Corinthians 3:3 “For you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you (works of the flesh), are you not carnal and behaving like mere (natural instead of spiritual) men?” I am responsible before God for the kind of fruit that my spirit produces: Love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, meekness, faithfulness and self-control are all spiritual fruit, the more of that kind of fruit that my spirit produces, the greater the revelation of God’s wisdom that I will receive as it is unveiled through my heart by the Spirit of God. Envy, strife, divisions, selfish ambitions, and the like, are all spiritual manifestations of the works of the flesh, the carnality that will hinder my heart from receiving the revelation that will allow me to become a mature, and victorious spiritual Christian. So that I have a choice to make each and every day between peace and distress, love and hate, forgiveness and resentment. Am I going to be at peace in the face of distress? Am I going to love those who hate me? Am I going to forgive those whom I resent? If I follow my natural inclinations that compel me to demand an eye for an eye, then the spiritual revelation that makes me wise in Christ is withheld from me, for my actions prevent the Holy Spirit from revealing them to me as He desires. But if I summit myself to the words that our Lord taught us, His spiritual words that are my life, even when it absolutely makes no sense to me to do what He says, then the Holy Spirit is not hindered, and though I may not be ready to receive the understanding as to why I need to do what the Scriptures require, nevertheless, His healing balm will be applied to my soul and I will walk in His peace no matter what! John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” There is a disconnect for many Christians between doing the right thing and doing the spiritual thing. Understanding the difference between doing that which is right and doing that which is spiritual can be an important factor that will help to lead us into maturity. That is because our natural understanding of what the right thing to do is, has been tainted by our worldly perception. We sometimes confuse human goodness with God inspired spirituality. So that when we think we are doing the right thing that should make us more spiritual, instead we are being carnal and do not even know it. Therein lies a trap that has diverted many well intended Christians from what had been a promising road to maturity, into the folly that Paul calls the wisdom of this age, by comparing or trying to understand spiritual things through the prism of human wisdom. 1 Corinthians 2:13-14 “These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural (carnal) man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” The more spiritual that a believer becomes, the more at odds that he will be with the wisdom of this world, and the difference between what the spiritual thing to do is, verses that which is the right thing to do, will become more obvious to the believer that matures spiritually. A spiritually mature man will never be bound by the spirit of religion. 1 Corinthians 3:4 “For when one says, ‘I am of Paul,’ and another, ‘I am of Apollos,’ are you not carnal?” When Rahab the prostitute was faced with the choice of doing the right thing and not lie to the soldiers that asked about the whereabouts of the spies that visited her, she chose to do the spiritual thing instead, and protected those who belonged to God by misleading the soldiers away from them. By her actions she did not only save their lives, but she also saved her own life and the lives of her family and became part of Jesus ancestry. To become a spiritually mature Christian is the same as that of being a slave that has been made free. 1 Corinthians 2:15 “But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.” After all it is for freedom's sake that Christ has made us free!     Top of Page Top of Page EMPOWERING PRAYERS PRAY FOR OUR SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATION COMMUNITIES Written by Minister Lisa Kane 12.31.23 SAY THIS PRAYER OUT LOUD: ​ Mighty Heavenly Father, ​ I lift up the scientific and education communities around the world to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose the scientific and education communities around the world; the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in the scientific and education communities around the world, ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.” Father God, I bless the scientific and education communities around the world, with open ears, eyes, hearts, and minds to see, hear, receive, and believe the living Word of God because you state in Mark 4:12 KJV “12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” I pray in hope that they see and perceive, hear and understand so they would believe in Jesus the Son of the living God! And Heavenly Father, I bless the scientific and education communities around the world with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless the scientific and education communities around the world with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in the hearts of the people in the scientific and education communities to forgive and reconcile the nation back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray that the scientific and education communities around the world are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I also pray that past generations deceived by lies would be restored to the truth going forward. I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” manifests within the hearts of the scientific and education communities around the world. I pray that those who work in science and education will share truth and fact from the Bible. That previous generations who were taught lies will be restored with truth in the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God. I pray that the gifts of the holy spirit stated in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12 KJV “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” would unite the body of Christ under one leadership, the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God moves through each of us so that we know what to pray, how to pray, when to pray, and praise the living God in all that we do. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen!     Top of Page Top of Page OTHER TEACHINGS EVERY KNEE Written by Lisa Kane 5/23/21 1 Kings 19:18 NKJV 18 Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.” Submission affects your daily walk with God and you need to ask yourself, who is your knee (submission) bowing to? As you can see from 1 Kings 19:18 that God ‘prevented’ seven thousand in Israel from submitting unto King Ahab and Jezebel’s ‘government’ rule during that time, and Elijah, a prophet of God didn’t know that God reserved seven thousand. Yes, those of us close to God don’t know all of whom and what God has preserved. 1 Kings 18:22 NKJV 22 Then Elijah said to the people, “I alone am left a prophet of the Lord; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men. Again, Eljah thought he was alone. Are you a believer who dwells in the secret place and feel like you’re the only one praying out there? You can trust God and know that there are many others out there praying too. If there weren’t, you can read in the Bible about the generation before Noah’s flood (Genesis 6:5), and Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19). This entire world would already be destroyed otherwise. Thank God people are believing and praying. And since we’re here, it means there are believers who are praying or who have not submitted their knee unto the darkness of this world. If you’re reading this and you’re not one of those believers/prayers set aside by God, you need to thank God for those that are. Then you need to ask yourself why are you not praying? Who’s knee are you bowing down to? Where does your submission lie? Because you can easily be one of those set aside by God. Eljah had power because he did not submit unto the demonic entity called Baal like four hundred and fifty other prophets did. Baal ruled the government at that time. I don’t know what dark demonic entity is ruling our government today, but when there are more homelessness, more drug addicts, more murders, more abortion, more evil than good, it’s an evil darkness that’s currently ruling our government. I can assure you that if you do not have power in your walk during this darkness, maybe your knee is bowing to Baal or some other entity and you don’t know it? Or maybe you know it. I have news for you that do know, your knee must submit unto Jesus! Hallelujah! But if you don’t know, maybe you voted for someone who is lying to you and supporting something like abortion. God hate’s abortion. That’s murdering innocent blood and through that deception, you support this evil entity. But there’s good news for you , God is merciful and as long as you ask for forgiveness, you will be delivered/saved. But here's something to know, even if you kept your knee bowed to anything other than God, your knee will eventually bow down to God: Isaiah 45:23 NKJV 23 I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, And shall not return, That to Me every knee shall bow, Every tongue shall take an oath. Romans 14:11 NKJV 11 For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.” Philippians 2:10 NKJV 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, Why is it important to place your knee directly before God and not through other entities, such as governments, principalities, trust in other people, etc? You are at war and you are responsible for holding back the power of darkness. How do I know this? Because you were given the name of Jesus and by that name, ‘every knew should bow’. Keyword – SHOULD ! When they’re not, that means you’re not using your authority. Let’s identify those areas of darkness that you have the authority over as a believer in Christ who has asked God to forgive his or herself. Ephesians 6:12-13 NKJV 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a ]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. When you don’t bow your knee to others, and you bow your knee to Jesus, you have authority direct from the name of Jesus and can overcome governments, principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places. Yes, you have the authority to do this in Jesus’ name. You become a part of God’s army and you can affect the outcome of this world’s governments and powers. This world’s powers are darkness and you are the light in God’s army. Read Philippians 2:10 again and pay attention. Philippians 2:10 NKJV 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, ‘ at the name of Jesus’: when you are bowed before Jesus, you have the authority to say His name and have the authority to place ‘those in heaven, ‘those on earth’, and ‘those under the earth’ to ‘bow’ before His name. Those things must submit to God. So once you say it out loud, calling out those entities and telling them to bow before God, ‘STAND’. Place a smile on your face and wait for God to move. Because that darkness must submit. Realize this, God is training you for warfare. Start learning. Start using His Name. The Holy Spirit will teach you and it starts with you placing your knee before God and submitting unto Jesus. Once you do that, you come into your authority of His name and the darkness must submit unto you when you use His name Jesus! I’m standing now. Will you tell darkness to bow itself to Jesus?     Top of Page OTHER TEACHINGS SIMON MAGUS Acts 8:9-11 “But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery (magic) in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great, to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, ‘This man is the great power of God.’ And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries (magic) for a long time.” ​ In Acts chapter eight we are privy to a real life encounter between the power of darkness that flowed through Simon the magician, and the power of light demonstrated through the apostolic anointing that flowed through Simon Peter. Sometimes it takes a real fake to recognize what the real thing is. When I described the power flowing through Simon the magician as fake, I do not mean that his power was not real or that it was not great, what I mean is that it wasn’t from God. Acts 8:5-8 “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city.” Did Simon Magus really believe that his power was from God? Maybe, but whether he was deceived or complicit in the matter at this time, is not what’s important here. Because when Simon saw the great miracles that flowed out of Philip’s ministry, we are told that he also believed the message that Philip was preaching, He, Simon the magician, was baptized and followed Philip’s ministry. Acts 8:13 “Then Simon himself also believed; and when he was baptized he continued with (follow) Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs that were done.” The difference between magic and the real thing is that in magic the magician makes you believe something that is not real, through his manipulation of reality, while the real thing is always self-evident. The way it works is, if the magician or sorcerer can make people believe that his power comes from the real God, then the people’s own faith in the real God will heal them, while he, the magician or sorcerer takes credit for the miracles. So that Simon Magus had no problem recognizing, number one that, the miracles that were flowing out of Philip’s ministry were the real thing, and number two, that Philip had greater abilities than the ones that he, Simon Magus possessed, and that is why he followed Philip. Acts 8:14-19 “Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, saying, ‘Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.’” ​ Here we see what Simon Magus saw from his perspective, the source of Philip’s power came from the laying on of the apostles’ hands. After all, Jesus had told His apostles, “You will receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” In Simon Magus thinking, if you can own the source of the power, then you can control it, and give or sell it to whomever you want to. Isn’t that how some ministries try to operate today? Their desire is to control the actions of the Holy Spirit, and in some instances, for the right price or service, the anointing can be given as reward for their faithfulness to their ministry, or so they think. ​ Acts 8:20 “But Peter said to him, ‘Your money perish with you, because you though that the gift of God could be purchase with money!’” ​ Peter’s rebuked of Simon Magus establishes once and for all that God’s apostolic anointing cannot be earn nor manipulated, it is a direct result of God’s sovereign calling and empowerment. Which leads me into the reason why I am writing this lesson on the first place. ​ Revelation 2:2 “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars.” ​ In the early church there was a flood of ministers that claimed to have the apostolic calling and did not, Simon Magus being one of them. Simon Magus has a long secular history of trickery and manipulation that he perpetrated against the church, while he claimed to be part of it, in spite of Peter’s rebuke against him. That same spirit, whose root is magic, or sorcery, is alive and well today, causing many of the saints to lose heart because of the ways that it manipulates the truth, especially as it pertains to prophecy. ​ Mark 13:5 “...Take heed that no one deceives you.” ​ As the return of Jesus draws near, the propaganda and manipulation against God’s prophetic truth is in high gear, as Jesus warned us. The airwaves are filled with so called prophecies of non-biblical origin, that pretend to be in the same, or even in some cases higher level, than that of biblical prophecies. Their intent of course is to equate secular prophecies with true biblical prophecy, so that when the false prophecies fail, people will fill the same way about biblical prophecy. Recent examples can be found in the end of time predictions that were attributed to the Mayan calendar, which got more credence with secular prophets than any biblical true prophet ever did. The same way with the Nostradamus predictions and the many others put forth, that were in many cases, a manipulation or private interpretation of some old sayings. The most recent case being that of the, I believe, Irish monk of many centuries ago named Malachy, that’s supposed to have predicted the names and order of the pope’s that lived and ruled long after his death. He is supposed to have predicted that the pope that was just installed is to be the last pope before Christ’s return, and that his name was to be, I believe, Peter Romanus, of course the newly elected pope selected to go by the name Francis, so there goes that “prophecy”. John 8:31-32 “...If you abide in My word, you are My disciples. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” ​ I know that the temptation to go with secular speculation is great, but we must resist it, because it is, simply put, a manipulation of God’s truth, designed for no other reason than that of undermining the veracity of God’s true prophetic words. ​ Revelation 3:2-3 “Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.” NIV ​ We the church, the body of Jesus Christ, are living in what can truly be described as perilous times, for us the church. Which have come as a result of us elevating secular teachings to the same level as God’s biblical truth, and in some cases higher than biblical truths. For instance, many Christians believe that evolution is part of the creation process due to the secular teaching that the earth is billions of years old. If one follows along those lines of trying to appease secularism, then before long you wind up believing that the resurrection from the dead is nothing more than a metaphor instead of a reality. ​ I wonder how many of those secular humanists have woken up to the reality of hell and then realized that it was too late for them. Wake up! Before is too late for you. In the same way that Simon Magus manipulated truth and made people believe that he was someone great, by the “miracles” that he projected, there are many “miracle” workers today, especially in the scientific arena, that make claims and boasts of things that are nothing more that assumptions based on their distortion of reality. Do you really think that if secular humanists discover something that confirms the truth that the Word of God teaches, that they will tell you? If you do, you do not know the lying ways of devil at all, nor how his manipulative schemes work. ​ You will not know at what time I will come to you. ​ The above verse captures the essence of what the lying spirits of this world are trying hard to accomplish. They are hard at work trying to prevent Christians from knowing the signs of the time. Truth and falsehoods can never combine, I mean, lies mix with anything, but truth can never be corrupted. Truth will never endorse a lie. That is what the temptation of Jesus by the devil was all about. Satan was saying to Jesus, if you endorse (worship) me, I will give to you back everything that I stole from Adam and You won’t have to die on the cross to get it. Well as you know, Jesus who is Truth would not endorse the lie (the devil) even at the cost of dying on the cross for our sins. ​ So that when Christians entertain the falsehoods and perversions of this world, and try to mix them with the Word of God’s Truth, so that they fit in together nicely, guess what happens, the truth is not in them anymore, and when that happens, they do not have a clue as to what’s coming their way. ​ 1 John 2:4-5 “He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, (or stays true to God’s Word) is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (truth will not mix with any form of lies) But whoever keeps His Word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.” ​ The only thing that will protect God’s church from the evil time that we are living in, is His pure unvarnished Word, His Truth, and the revelation and enlightenment that they provide to us when we do not compromise His Word. ​ Look all around you, as a believer, do you yearn for days past when God’s anointing was palpable in so many of His houses of worship. Where has the anointing gone? So many Christians wonder today what happened to it, it left the minute they believed the lie, the second they compromised the truth. Yet that anointing never left the true believers that hold true to God’s Word, however it left with them, as they left their dead churches behind. ​ 1 John 2:20-21 “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know (because you have not compromise God’s truth) all things. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and (you know as well) that no lie is of the truth.” ​ It’s true that there is a great deal of contamination out there, and that there are many so called leaders, both secular and in the church, that do not have a clue as to their true spiritual condition. So, it falls upon us to pray and to interceded on their behalf, let our prayers for them be in accordance with Scripture, Ephesians 5:14. Wake up sleepy heads, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light! My version. ​ Let us remember that the only thing that is going to keep us from the hour of testing that is soon coming to test all the inhabitants of the world, is our firm belief in the veracity of God’s Infallible Word, and an uncompromising belief in the deity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and His physical resurrection from the dead. ​ Revelation 3:8/10 “…(you) Have kept My Word, and have not denied My Name (His deity) ...I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell in the earth.” Back to Other Teachings

    Top of Page OTHER TEACHINGS INTERCESSION Hebrews 7:25 “Therefore He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” ​ Intercession is not only needed, but is very much required for the proper function of everyday life as we know it. If it were not, then Jesus would not have to live always making intercession for us. What are the mysteries of intercession and why is it that it is so very much required? In this lesson we are going to try to unravel some of the mysteries related to intercession, in the hope that we can get some insight into this ministry that is so vital to our everyday lives, in the hope that it would encourage us to intercede on a daily basis. ​ Matthew 6:9-10 “In this manner, therefore, pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’” To understand intercession is to understand why the will of God is not being done on the earth as it is in heaven; we need to know that the authority to rule over the earthly realm was given to Adam, to man and his descendants, Satan usurped that authority from man through deception and introduced chaos into the earthly realm. Since that time there has always been a battle between good and evil here on the earth. Jesus came and destroyed Satan’s power to inflict chaos upon the earth and returned earthly authority back into the hands of godly man. Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Intercession is asking God to do His good will here on the earth on behalf, and for the good of all mankind. Since the authority has been returned back to us, when we see chaos ruling, it is because someone is failing to ask God to intervene in that situation. We may ask, why doesn’t God remove the chaos and bring to us His peace? Since God gave authority to man to rule over the earthly realm, God will not interfere into the affairs of man uninvited. That is what intercession is pure and simple, recognizing that we fail due to our fallen nature, to bring the goodness of God by ourselves into the earthly realm. We need His help! Luke 18:1 “Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart.” In the parable that followed Jesus spoke about a widow that was not strong enough to take on her adversary by herself. The widow in the parable typifies mankind in our fallen human nature. The judge in the parable did not care about her need for justice, but due to her importunity, a type for consistency in prayer, the judge granted the widow her request. Then Jesus adds: Luke 18:7 “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? Men are always to pray and not lose heart: This brings us to the first aspect of intercession. Intercession is a Battle: A spiritual battle that requires a battle plan. Once we understand that God will not intervene in human affairs unless we ask Him to, and we know that it is His will, not ours, that He wants to bring into the mix, then we need to know what His will is in regards to the situation that we are asking His intervention for, so that we can pray in accordance with His will for that situation. If we do not, then the chaos will continue, for He aims for His will to be done not ours. Battle on behalf of mankind: God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 Our daily intercession should follow, as in regards to our prayers on behalf of mankind, first the family and the family structure. 1 Timothy 5:8 “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” These are pretty strong words that Paul speaks, that is because God is after the family structure; the family that prays together not only stays together but has a powerful influence in all that surrounds them. Is called the power of agreement as in a married couple interceding together on behalf of their entire families that became connected to one another through them entering into holy matrimony. That is why the institution of marriage is under such a heavy attack right now from those who want to redefine it. Their demonic aim is to corrupt the power of this marital institution to intercede together on behalf of both families by introducing dividing controversies into the family unit, thereby their power of intercession is neutralized. So that intercession should be made first on behalf of the household and beginning with the head of the household. Daily intercession should be made on behalf of parents, grand parents, children, grandchildren , great grandchildren , our siblings, their siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and for the families that they are interconnected with as well. God will use your prayer for some distant family member that you do not even know to save them from hell; remember that God is not willing that any of them should perish and be lost forever, but He will not act on their behalf by imposing His own will upon them unless someone prays for their salvation, which is God’s will for them. Many years ago, one of my nephews found himself, after going forward on an altar call, in front of an evangelist that told him that the reason he had answered the call was because his uncle was praying for him. This blew his mind for he knew that I was the only saved uncle that he had, he called us to ask, and we told him, yes we pray daily for our nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles and cousins. This was a confirmation to us way back then, that God always hears our prayers. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Secondly, we need to pray for the men and women that are part of the governmental structures that rule society, both secular and religious institutions. So that we need to pray on a daily basis for the churches and the elders of the churches, for the schools, the principles, the teachers, those who prepare the curriculum that the teachers teach, we are not to leave any of that to the will of the enemy. The fruit of the womb is His reward, let our children be invested with the knowledge of the truth, after all they belong to the God of Truth. Let us pray for the lawmakers and those who are in charge of executing the laws that the legislators pass. Let us pray for the judges that rule on what laws are just and which are not. Our prayer on their behalf should be based on what is God’s best for those over whom they rule. If the rules that they pass and enforce go against what is God’s best for the people they have rule over, then our intercession for them will be for God’s conviction of what is right and wrong to be revealed to them. If God opens their eyes to see the evil that their ruling is bringing upon the people, then hopefully they will repent and do the right thing on behalf of those over whom they have the power to rule. 3 John 2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” Thirdly we need so seek our own personal time of intimacy with Jesus. True intercession is born out of a heart that has an intimate relationship with the heart of Jesus. When His heart becomes one with our heart, our intercession for those things which touch His heart will be the more powerful; when our desire becomes one with His desire, there is a powerful and unstoppable force that is released as we become one with Him in His will for us. Ephesians 4:3 “Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Fourthly there is a place in the heavenly realm where those whose hearts have touched Jesus’ heart meet. This is a real place, more real than any reality that we’ve ever experienced here on earth. You will find people there whose prayer originates from many distant lands, somehow they form a spiritual connection and come together in the bond of peace, while in their efforts to ascend into the hill of the Lord and touch the heart of God. They begin their journey with a simple desire for interceding on behalf of what is in the heart of Jesus at that time. Somehow they all interconnect, they arrived into what is called the unity of the Spirit, when suddenly the Holy Spirit takes them to the base of what is called the hill of the Lord. Once there, they are able to commune one with another in complete trust, being aware of the other intercessors humanity and purpose. You can hear their thoughts and communicate your feelings to them through the same process. To reach the top of the hill of the Lord is the goal, so they press tightly together with one another in order to attain the purpose for which their Lord brought them there. Not all make it to the top at first, for it is a process. And it is that process the reason why I am sharing this aspect of intercession with you right now. Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.” This Psalm is a Messianic Psalm, meaning that it applies to Jesus, since Jesus is the only perfect human who could fulfilled the requirements stated in the Psalm. But when the intercessors heart becomes one with Jesus’ heart, a pure heart, that is when the intercessor is brought into the base of the hill of the Lord and ascend into the desires of God’s heart. In order for this pureness of heart to take effect, there has to be a cleanness of hands. Idolatries are the issue here, idolatry is the worship of a substitute god, usually the worship of self, or selfish ambitions, all of which defiles the human heart. We can pray the will of God and be in an idolatrous condition, but we can never pray the heart of God in such an idolatrous state, for idolatry is what keeps us from knowing His heart. Hence the ultimate goal of an intercessor should be to rid themselves of all traces of idolatry within their hearts in order to attained the heart of God. You have to begin with the truth, by being true to yourself, truth is the only thing that can make you free. The word sworn, as in sworn deceitfully, literally means to seven oneself, so that it has to do with a custom or ritual, some practice that takes place on regular intervals, a custom that is based on the perversion of the truth, that in reality is idolatry. Such traditional practices will be the hardest of all things to get rid of in your Christian life, because such practices are deeply embedded into modern day Christian liturgy. Truth leads us into the will of God, which in turn leads us into the truth of the purpose of God, which in turn takes us into the very heart of God. John 12:32 “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” If the goal of intercession is to bring to the earth what is God’s will in heaven, so that God’s purpose for the inhabitants of the earth can be accomplished, and if the best way to accomplish that ministry is to have the very heart of God within our hearts, is it not then necessary that Jesus be lifted up from the earth? You see, if we are proclaiming Jesus’ heart to the world, how can we do so effectively if we ourselves are soiled with the very earthly customs that profane His holy name, since we still have regard for those customs and patronized them? The devil is no match for the name of Jesus, all a believer has to do is to proclaim that precious name of Jesus, and no matter what his circumstances are, Jesus will answer him. But if we are swearing deceitfully by profaning the name that is above every name, by equating His holy name with some ancient pagan festival festering with idolatry, then the devil will not fear those who profane Jesus’ holy name, for by doing so they have placed themselves into the bottom of the heap of rubbish that hell itself is built on. John 12:26 “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? The true servants that follow Jesus, for those who follow Jesus are with Jesus where He is, and Jesus is on the top of the hill of the Lord.     Top of Page OTHER TEACHINGS THE PROVEN WORD Psalm 18:30 “As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” There is a saying that in life nothing is certain but death and taxes. Whoever came up with that saying did not read our opening text. ​ Can you imagine being protected by a shield that has been proven to always been perfect? That means it will never fail you no matter what. ​ Let us begin with the most important of all the things that we have: life and by implication our fear of death. ​ Psalm 18:4 “The pangs of death surrounded me, and the floods of ungodliness made me afraid.” Can we trust our lives to the Word of God? Can the Word of God deliver me from fear and angst? Every person that is born will die someday, for according to God’s Word it is appointed for men to die once, and to be judged after we die. So that we are all continuously surrounded by the pangs of death and the fear of judgment. We are conceived and born in sin, so that our natural fear of death resides in the reality that we all fall short of the glory of God. Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” How does the Word of God assure me of a pleasant and eternal life after I am dead? Romans 8:11 “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” How can I be sure that He will forgive me since I know that I still fall short of His glory even after He became my Savior? Romans 8:10 “And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.” The floods of ungodliness made me afraid, the word ungodliness in the original Hebrew text is the word Belial and it means a spirit of worthlessness. When we got saved, the spirit of Belial was replaced by the Spirit of God’s life and righteousness. Seeing that Jesus paid such a high price for us—His precious blood—we are not worthless anymore. Hallelujah! Ephesians 2:1-2 “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit (of worthlessness, Belial) who now works in the sons of disobedience.” There is ample evidence then, that Jesus has redeemed us from the pangs of death, and from the floods of ungodliness that once made us afraid; as it is written: They that call upon the name of the Lord will be saved, redeemed, healed, delivered and restored! Psalm 18:3 “I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.” The word of the Lord is proven. From the very beginning God gave us His Word of promise, the word proven means to be refined. We know that the Bible was written over a period of fifteen or sixteen centuries, and that some of the original promises were given to mankind thousands of years ago. In the Garden of Eden God promised that the Seed of the woman would crush the serpents head. God chose Able instead of Cain, after Cain killed Able, God replaced him with Seth, which means appointed, and God continue the promise through the line of Seth to Noah. From Noah’s three sons, Shem was chosen to be the line from which the Word of the Lord would continue, that is why there is so much anti-Semitism today, for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel from which came the Scriptures, are the descendants of Shem. The world hates God’s Word, that is why they hate the Semites. From the line of Shem, Abram was chosen, and God entered into a covenant with him and named him Abraham, although Abraham fathered multiple children, Isaac was chosen to continue the line. Isaac had two sons, Jacob and Esau, but God continued to refine the line and chose Jacob, who had twelve sons, God chose Judah one of his twelve sons, and said that His Promised One would be called the Lion of the tribe of Judah. About four thousand years passed from the Garden of Eden, where the promised was first given, to Gethsemane, where the King of Life chose to become the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. Mortal men had no say as to how such refining would take place, even the wisest of the wise could not understand, or even presume to know, how our Lord would bring about the fulfillment of all His great and precious promises, but He did, praise God He did! 2 Peter 1:17-19 “For He (Jesus) received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’ And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.” The odds of one man fulfilling by chance all the promises that God made concerning His Anointed One’s first coming are astronomical, an impossibility to be certain, that is what Peter as an eyewitness is telling us, and he says, you better pay attention to it if you want truth. There is no doubt whatsoever that the Word of God has been proven, it has been extremely refined and points us to a very precise person, and that person is Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, who is our perfect shield and our total enlightenment. Psalm 18:35 “You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great.” Psalm 18:28 “For You will light my lamp; the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.” Why in the world would someone put their trust in the manmade philosophies of this world which are proven wrong on a daily basis? Every major prediction that science has made, since they started to make them, are wrong, they do not come true, instead the opposite is what takes place. Man is always proven wrong, that’s a fact of life. Psalm 18:31 “For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? For years, since I started to teach from the Word of God, I began to notice how precise God’s predictions are. No matter how impossible a prophesy or a promise may seem at that time, if God said it would be thus, all you have to do is hang around a while and you will see thus. And what that has done for my life and my faith in the Word of God is amazing. It has transformed my life and the way that I perceive things. And even that, is what the Word of God promises to those of us who by faith are willing to believe in the certainty of His amazing promises. Psalm 18:32 “It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect.” In our present state of mortality, our perfection is not revealed in us as a physical reality yet, but rather, as a spiritual certainty that cannot be altered, For He who promised is faithful and will cause it to be so. I am what I am, not because of who or what I am, but because of who and what He says I am as long as I remain planted in His Word. Psalm 18:33 “He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places.” In our last lesson I wrote about the choice that we all have. We can make choices based on the circumstances that surround us, or we can affirm the path that God has ordained for us in the high places, which is speaking about our spiritual journey while on this earth. Psalm 18:43 “You have delivered me from the strivings of the people; you have made me the head…” If you can make this verse personal, is an indication that you are walking under the blessings of God to Abraham and His seed, and not under the curses of this world. Deuteronomy 28:13 “And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only (spiritual path, high places), and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments (and are willing to believe the promises) of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.” What an exciting reality it is to live in all the promises of God to us. And they all hinge in this simple act of faith on our part, He who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved! Psalm 18:3 “I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.” If you have not yet made the choice to call upon the Lord, why not make it now? He is the God who never lies, and He is the only God who can deliver you out of the hands of all your enemies. Is death your enemy? The words of Jesus are Spirit and they are life! Would you make His Word your life today? If you do give Him praise. Psalm 18:46 “The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted.” Back to Other Teachings

    Top of Page End Times THE FOUR CRAFTSMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE Zechariah 1:20 “Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen.” In the second vision that God revealed to Zechariah we are given a unique insight into the realm of spiritual warfare from an Old Testament perspective. It is my belief that all six of Zechariah’s visions are intricately connected to the prophecy in the book of Revelation about the four horseman of the Apocalypse that God had appointed to be revealed to those of us who are alive during the end of this age. ​ Zechariah 1:8 “I saw by night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse, and it stood among the myrtle trees in the hollow; and behind him were horses: red, sorrel, and white.” In his first vision Zechariah sees horses of four different colors that the Lord sent to walk to and from throughout the earth. These different color horses are symbolic of the watchers that keep watch over the affairs of men and their relationship with God’s people here on the earth. Isaiah 62:6-7 “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” If we understand the underpinning of Zechariah’s first vision we will be able to make better sense, not only of Zechariah’s second vision as it pertains to spiritual warfare, but about the spiritual warfare that is going on right now, for we are presently living in the days of the unveiling of the four horseman of the book of Revelation. Zechariah 1:11 “So they answered the Angel of the Lord, who stood among the myrtle trees, and said, ‘We have walked to and from throughout the earth, and behold, all the earth is resting quietly.’” The first thing that we need to recognize in order to make sense of the visions is that they revolved around the city of Jerusalem. For seventy years the Lord had removed the Jewish people from the land of Judah and from the city of Jerusalem, to give the land the Sabbath day of rest that they owed the land. When Moses lead the Israelites out of Egypt, he instructed them that when they entered into the land that the Lord was giving them, that they were suppose to give the land a year of rest every seven years. No sowing and no reaping, they had to trust the Lord to provide for them a double harvest during the six years that would last them for the whole seventh year that they were not supposed to be tilling the land. They violated the law of the Sabbath rest for the land, for four hundred and ninety years consecutively, so that they owed the land seventy years of rest: 490 / 7 = 70 years. When the time for God’s judgment fell upon them, God used the nations of the earth to remove them from the land and to keep them out of the land for the seventy years that they owed. Zechariah 1:12 “Then the Angel of the Lord answered and said, ‘O Lord of hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which You were angry these seventy years?’” Zechariah, in his first vision is privy to an event that is taking place in the spiritual realm; he sees horses and asked what they mean. After he is told that they are the watchers that watch over the affairs of men, the Angel of the Lord speaks to God in front of Zechariah, reminding God that the seventy years are now over. God answers the Angel of the Lord with good and comforting words in verse thirteen. Then the reason is revealed as to why the Lord had given Zechariah a ringside seat, if you will, to what was going on in the spiritual realm, after he is told that he is to prophesy, within the context of all that he had witnessed, to the Jews that were in exile. Zechariah 1:14-15 “So the angel who spoke with me said to me, "proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: I am zealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with great zeal. I am exceedingly angry with the nations at ease; for I was a little angry, and they helped—but with evil intent.’” The Lord reveals that He is angry with the nations that He used to remove the Jews from Jerusalem and from the land of Judah, because of their evil intent while He was using them against His own people. As always the Lord’s judgments against the nations of the earth have to do with how they treated or mistreated His own people. Remember what God told Abraham when He entered into a covenant with him? I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you. Then Zechariah proceeded to proclaim to the Jews of his day that God was restoring them back into the land from where they had been exiled for seventy years, and that God would again choose Jerusalem as its capitol. Which leads us right into the second vision that deals with how the Lord removes the demonic strongholds that Satan placed over the nation of Israel, when he took advantage of them, while they were in exile for their disobedience to the commandments that God gave them through Moses. Zechariah 1:18 “Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were four horns.” Zechariah’s first vision began at night, which is symbolic of the spiritual darkness that was all around the nation of Israel at that time. In the second vision the Lord is revealing to Zechariah the source of the spiritual darkness that is all around him. Zechariah 1:19 “And I said to the angel who talked with me, ‘What are these?’ So he answered me, ‘These are the horns (powers) that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.’” When God’s hand of blessing is over a people, there is absolutely nothing that the devil can do against them, for our God is Almighty. The enemy knows that, as long as God’s protection is over His people, he is powerless against them, so he is always at work to temp those who belong to God into rebelling against God. Obedience to God always brings enlightenment, and disobedience to God always brings darkness. Zechariah 1:2-3 “The Lord has been very angry with your fathers. Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: Return to Me,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘And I will return to you,’ says the Lord of hosts.” The Lord was very angry with the fathers because of their disobedience to the commandment of God in regards to their obligation to give the land a year of rest every seventh year. Now that their debt is paid in full, for they have been out of the land for seventy years, they can be restored back to their land if they return to the Lord first, and acknowledge that without God in their midst they are in darkness. Zechariah 1:20-21 “Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen. And I said, ‘What are these coming to do?’ So he said, ‘These are the (four) horns (powers) that scattered Judah, so that no one could lift up his head; but the craftsmen are coming to terrify them, to cast out the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.’” In warfare whoever controls the high ground has the advantage over their adversary; because of their disobedience to the Word of God Israel was put at a disadvantage where they could not lift up their heads and have a clear picture of their spiritual condition. Now that they are returning to God, the Lord sends them four craftsmen or carpenters to dismantle the demonic infrastructure that prevents them from regaining the upper hand, the lifting up of their heads. Notice the language that the angel uses that describes how these demonic hordes will be terrified by these four craftsmen before they are cast out. What are these four craftsmen symbolic of? 2 Corinthians 12:12 “Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds.” The four craftsmen are symbolic of the apostolic anointing! The apostolic anointing is the force that God brings about to dismantle the four horns or powers that keep God’s children in darkness. What are the four horns symbolic of? Galatians 5:19-21 “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outburst of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God (which is light, and those who practice those things are still in darkness).” The four horns are symbolic of the works of the flesh! PERVERSION: Adultery, Fornication, Uncleanness and Lewdness. DIVISION: Hatred, Contentions, Envy and Jealousies. FALSE RELIGION: Idolatry, Sorcery, Dissensions and Heresies. MALFUNCTION: Outbursts of Wrath, Murder, Drunkenness and Revelries. At the center ofcourse is Selfish Ambition the soul motivator before we became born-again. I took the liberty of dividing them into four categories that revolve around the self motivated soul. The number seventeen is the seventh prime number. Zechariah’s first vision is recorded in chapter one, beginning in verse seven to verse seventeen. A clear double emphasis that the Holy Spirit reveals to us to show us how important to our present day Zechariah’s visions are. Also, all of us have sixteen great-great-grandparents in our family tree, and if you form a pyramid with self sitting on top of it, with two parents directly below, four grandparents below them, eight great-grandparents below them and sixteen great-great-grandparents as the foundation of the pyramid, it shows how our soul is affected by the iniquity of the fathers which is with whom the Lord was angry in Zechariah 1:2. 0 = 1 Self 0-0 = 2 Parents 0-0-0-0 = 4 Grandparents 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 = 8 Great-grandparents 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 = 16 Great-great-grandparents. Exodus 20:5-6 “You shall not bow down to them nor serve (worship) them (idols). For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me (idolatry is seen by God as hatred towards Him), but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.” We are living in the age of grace, and the church has been established on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets, with our Lord Jesus Christ as the Chief Cornerstone. The time for our redemption is now, for our sin debt that we owed God has been fully paid for by our Savior on the cross. As the Lord spoke during Zechariah’s day, that if we return to Him He will return to us. We are living in the days right now when those that call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. But remember also that with our salvation comes deliverance from the forces of darkness that kept us bound. It is the apostolic anointing that terrifies the devil, for through its revelation we become empowered. Remember the words of Jesus, You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free! Yes, we are living in the days of the white horse, the antichrist, for there are many out there striving to deceive those of us who are the children of light. Yes, we are living in the days of the red horse, the days of war and terror as our Lord predicted. Yes there is a global economy being forged right now that is paving the way for a one world government, the black horse that will control all commerce and all of its financial transactions. The pale horse whose rider is death, followed closely by Hades, soon will be given power to bring war over one fourth of the earth. This is the conflict that will usher in the rapture of the church; let’s be ready for it. Zechariah 2:10/13 “Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst...Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!” Back to End Times Teachings
