Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING THE DUALITY OF LIFE Revelation 22:14-15 “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” The one thing about life is that your are either in or you are out. ​ When the final judgment day comes it will be the same, you are either in or you are out. ​ What decides as to whether one makes it in or out depends on what we believe. Those who believe the Word of God and try to live by its precepts will have the right to enter into the celestial city, however those who choose not to believe what the Word of God says will be left out. Faith is what casts the final vote, for even atheists believe, for they have faith in their belief that there is no God. Everyone that chooses not to believe in the Word of God practices a lie, and by their own actions they keep themselves out of the celestial city. After all I bet that you never heard of a person that wants to travel to a city that they do not believe it really exists. Revelation 22:6 “Then he said to me, ‘These words (and the fulfillment of these prophetic words) are faithful and true.’ And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.” So that it is the words that are written in the Bible and their prophetic fulfillment that we are required to believe in if we want to enter into His eternal abode; for failure to do so will keep us out forever. Revelation 22:7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” A person that is allowed to enter through the pearly gates into the celestial city is in deed truly blessed! What is it that draws people to believe what the Bible teaches? Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” Three things are listed that progressively will lead a person to take the water of life freely, which is to have faith in the Word of God. You have to have ears to hear the invitation of the Spirit and the bride. A person who is not thirsty does not look for a drink, for there is no desire, no thirst within him. Such a person does not hear the call until there is a need. Jesus told us that in this world we would have tribulations. For as it turns out, it is mostly when we are having problems or are in a desperate need that we try to reach out and hear from God; and that is God’s desire for us, that we turn to Him even if it is only when we are in need. However, once we hear Him, His desire is that we progress into thirsting for eternal things rather than the temporal things that we usually crave. As we begin to read and study the Word of God, the emphasis for our life will begin to change from that of temporal things to eternal things. Once our desires are changed, the things that we thirst for will also change, but none of that can happen until we hear from the Word of God. Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” This is why we preach and teach the Word of God, so that when there is a need in your life that the world cannot cure, and remember that the world’s cure is always worse than the disease itself. You would turn to Him who is able to satisfy you with His living waters, that once you partake of, you will never thirst again for they are eternal. In the list of those who are kept out we see a progression as well: Revelation 22:15 “But outside are dogs (unbelievers) and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” It all begins, or should I say begin and end, with a lie, which is the absence of the truth, for those who refuse to hear the Word of God. God is truth. His Word is truth. A man’s refusal to believe in the truth makes that man a liar, and a person that is a liar is an idolater. For that person refuses to believe in the truth, or in what is real, and the purpose of believing that which is not truth or real is a delusion. Zechariah 10:2 “For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies and tell false dreams…” Idolaters are void of the truth of God’s love and the opposite of love is hate; hate that leads to the murdering of those who believe in the truth. John 8:43-44 “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” Sexual immorality is the physical representation of idolatry, which is the lusting after the things that are not really real. Things that do not offer real satisfaction, for the lusting after them is based on diluted reasoning. 1 Corinthians 10:8 “Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.” Sorcerers traffic in the trade of illusions that are manufactured through the manipulation of the human senses by external as well as internal means, as in drug abuse. Sensuality goes hand in hand with sexual immorality or in other words, the allure that they both offer is an illusion that will never truly satisfy the thirsty soul. So that none of those lying crafts or those who continue to practice them will make it into the heavenly New Jerusalem, for God will judge them. Jesus told us that it all began with them not being able to hear, for had they been able to listen to His Word, their desires would have been transformed into godly desires as the Word of God judged them internally by exposing the desires of their hearts that were based on a lie, and they would have thirsted for that which is real and satisfying instead, which is the truth of God’s Word. 1 Corinthians 5:12-13 “For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore put away from yourselves the evil person.” Those who can clearly hear the Word of God will develop a thirst for it, and those who thirst after the Word of God will have all their desires totally satisfied, as it is written: Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely! So which side of life do you want to be on? Do you want to be in the inside of life, or on the outside of life? How you regard the Holy Scriptures will determine which side of life you end up with! The devil, the world, the secular media, secular humanists, godless politicians, godless professors, the supreme court, and everybody else that they can get to ride their omnibus, will try to persuade you not to listen or prohibit you from listening and adhering to the Word of God and to its life giving principles. Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY THE FOUR WAVES Luke 21:25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring.” If we look at the above verse from an entirely spiritual perspective, we see four places that are mentioned, the sun, the moon, the stars, and the earth, that will be hit by a great shaking, and this shaking will come in the form of waves. We obviously live here on the earth, but during those days there will be things that are happening in the entire cosmos that will clearly have an effect upon us here on the earth. ​ Luke 21:26 “Men’s hearts failing them from the fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” When our text declares that the powers of the heavens will be shaken, it is clearly referring to both, a physical and a spiritual shaking that will be taking place during those days. Hebrews 12:26 “Whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, ‘Yet once more I shake not only earth, but also heaven.’” The number four is significant here because it includes the entire creation, both physical and spiritual. The spiritual emphasis that I want to deal with in this lesson is revealed to us in the form of waves, like in the waves roaring, that is waves making loud sounds that are audible. If you read some of my works, you know that I believe that there are always four spiritual forces that work together in tandem to bring about the conditions that God requires in order to bring about His desire results in any given physical situation. Like the four horseman of the apocalypse, the four trumpets, the four seals, the four winds and so on. These waves are sometimes revealed to the saints in visions or dreams; now there are common threads that link the different revelations to one another, and there are some very unique and individual aspects of the revelation that apply only to the individuals receiving them. Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” In the Old Testament, only certain people were filled with the Holy Spirit. All of the prophets of old were filled with God’s Holy Spirit, since God is Spirit and all His works always begin in the spiritual realm. Those who are filled with His Spirit are in a position to receive the revelation of what God is doing in the spiritual realm that affects us here on the earth. In the New Testament, all the believers are filled with His Holy Spirit, for no one can be born again without being born of the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit we were all baptized (plunged) into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.” So that to His church, the body of Christ, revelation is continually flowing corporally from His Spirit that bears witness of what God is presently doing in the spiritual realm. That is why when the Holy Spirit is doing a personal work in us, it seems almost like there is a conspiracy of some sort, for we see the Spirit moving through many different venues to assure us that it is He, and Him alone, not man, who is dealing with us. And when He is revealing things to His church as a whole, many different individuals, oceans apart, will have the basics of the same revelation of what God is doing or is about to do. For that is what Amos says, God will reveal His secrets to His servants, for a testimony to the whole body of believers. My personal experience with dreams of big waves started early in the decade that started in 1990. Previously to my first dream, I do not recall ever hearing about dreams of big waves from anybody . In all four of my dreams that covered a span of several years, there were always two things common on every dream, I knew what cardinal direction I was facing, and I was completely overwhelmed by the size of the waves that were always coming my way. In my first dream, I was facing north while standing on a sidewalk in front of a small country church. I was watching as people were coming out of the church when suddenly a huge massive wave arose from behind the little church. The wave was comprised of water and mud and was coming towards the church from behind. It was moving so fast that I did not even have time to tell the people to turn around and look, I just instinctively crouched behind a small retaining wall in the perimeter of the front lawn. I was so scared that my heart almost stopped, and I remember thinking that I was going to die by breathing in muddy water. I awoke right before the wave hit me an d realized that my body was shaking and I was breathing extremely heavy. In the next two or three years I had two more dreams that were just a different version of that first one. On the second dream I was facing east, there was a chain link fence in front of me, when a huge wave rose up, not as muddy as in my first dream, as I crouched down and grabbed the chain link fence, I remember thinking that the impact would probably rip my fingers off, thankfully I awoke again right before it hit me. In the third dream I was facing south when a huge wave rose again as before. The dream of the fourth wave came a couple of years later, I was facing west in the South Bay area of Los Angeles CA, looking at the San Pedro/Palos Verdes hill, when out of the Pacific ocean a huge, more massive wave than any of the others that I had dreamed before rose up. It was made of pure crystal-clear water, and just as beautiful as it was awesome. In this dream I did not fear, I did not crouch, and I didn’t wake up before the wave hit me, for even though I was very scared, I welcome that which was coming my way. The wave went over me and through me with great energy, but I was still standing, and as I looked around, all the houses and buildings were gone, and in their place, pools of living waters were drawing in the weak and the feeble to drink freely of it. In March of 1997, I had the privilege to travel to the Brownsville revival that was taking place in Pensacola Florida. For three marvelous days I witness the power of God moving upon thousands of people that were gathered there for that wonderful experience. We attended the Sunday morning service before we left that day and there was a guess speaker teaching that morning. He spoke about four spiritual waves that would hit from four different directions before the Lord returns for us. Can you just picture my jaw dropping as he started his message? He spoke about a revival that was taking place in Toronto, Canada, as the wave from the north, the revival in Pensacola as being the wave from the east, the revivals that were going on in South America, as the wave from the south, and get this, he spoke about a final outpouring of the Holy Spirit that was yet to come from the west. That was over sixteen years ago, and I knew that it was from the Lord, but as you know, we walk by faith and not by sight. The spiritual decline of the last few years, not only in the churches but in the nations as well, makes it hard for me to see how and where from that final revival that I am so certain, even today, that is going to come. But you know how the Lord works, just when we seem to have forgotten something that at one time seemed very important, the Lord is always there to remind us that His timing is not our timing, and that just because it has not happened yet, that it should be no reason for us to not keep looking up in excitement for what He has promised. A couple of days ago I read a prophecy that was given by a 90 year old woman in Norway, back in 1968, to an evangelist named Emanuel Minos when he came to her town to preach. The evangelist wrote down the prophecy as she told it to him, but he thought that it was so extreme that he kept it in a drawer and forgot about it. This is how her prophecy started: I saw the time just before the coming of Jesus and the outbreak of the Third World War. Then, she mentioned four waves: This is part of what she saw in the first wave: There will be peace between the superpowers in the east and the west, and there will be a long peace. Remember that she spoke this in 1968 while the cold war was raging, and it raged on until 1989. There have been 24 years of peace between the superpowers of the east and west. This is part of what she saw in the second wave: A lukewarmness without parallel will take hold of the Christians, a falling away from true, living Christianity. Christians will not be open for penetrating preaching. They will not, like in earlier times, want to hear of sin and grace, law and gospel, repentance and restoration. There will come a substitute instead: prosperity (happiness) Christianity. Here is part of what she saw in the third wave: People will live together like married without being married...TV will be filled with such horrible violence that it teaches people to murder and destroy each other, and it will be unsafe in our streets. People will copy what they see. This is some of what she saw for the fourth wave: I will not see it, but you will. Then suddenly, Jesus will come and the Third World War breaks out. It will be a short war... All that I have seen of war before is only child’s play compared to this one. I wrote some of what she saw in her vision and some of what I saw in my dreams, to show those of you that might have experienced something like what she or I’ve experienced, that even though our perspectives differ greatly, there is a common thread that unites the flow of the revelations. In her case she saw peace in the first wave, when the first seal was opened after Jesus rose from the dead, the spirit of antichrist was released which is still very much at work today to bring forth a false peace. In my first wave I saw extremely polluted waters/doctrine sneaking behind the church. That explains why in her second wave she saw unparallel lukewarmness and a falling away from true living Christianity, for they are the results of demonic doctrines introduced to the church. But the key point that I want to emphasize is in the fourth wave, for that is when the powers of the heavens are shaken, and the Lord is revealed, and from her perspective she saw the start of World War Three. Now let me show you two different perspectives from Scripture about that same event. Revelation 6:12-17 “I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake (in the earth); and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon (remember our opening text) became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free men, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” From this perspective we see that the land of Israel has been invaded by an army of a confederacy that's lead by Gog, of the land of Magog, from the uttermost north, according to Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39. Most of the people that you see running for the bomb shelters in Revelation chapter six are about to be wiped out by the wrath of the Lamb as He returns to show Himself holy before the nations of the world, and to save the people and the nation of Israel from sure destruction. Acts 2:19-21 “I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turn into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” From Joel’s perspective, whom Peter quotes in Acts, we see that those who witness the supernatural destruction of this mighty army that has invaded Israel, will realize that the Lamb is real and that His judgments are true, and they will have an opportunity to repent before the great day of His wrath begins. One way to see the fourth wave is as that of the beginning of a war that will end the world as we know it. Another way is to see it as an opportunity for as many people as possible to call upon the name of the Lord and be delivered out of this world before the wrath of God is unleashed upon it, and its destruction made certain. I know that in my dream I did not fear the immensity of the fourth wave, for it brought with it a crystal-clear living waters for the purification of the soul, and it was made available to all those who were feeble and weak in body. Those who fear and partake of the Word of the Lord now, will not be afraid in the day when His fullness is revealed to them. If only the scoffers would repent before that day catches up to them. Revelation 22:1 “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.” Back to Deliverance Ministry

Top of Page OTHER TEACHINGS THE HEIGHT AND WIDTH OF THE TREE OF LIFE Ezra 6:3 “In the first year of King Cyrus, King Cyrus issued a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem: ‘Let the house be rebuilt, the place where they offered sacrifices; and let the foundations of it be firmly laid, its height sixty cubits and its width sixty cubits.’” Within Bible context numbers have very defined meanings; from the Genesis creation narrative we find that the number six is a fundamental part of the creation, since it took God six days to complete the entire creation. We also find that the number six is an intricate part of time itself; as in sixty seconds in a minute and sixty minutes in an hour. ​ Because of that, the number six is symbolic of both time and man, since man was created on the sixth day. We could say that the number six in the Bible refers to man’s time here on earth, and we see that represented on the foundation of the house of God at Jerusalem, the foundation or the root, the beginning of the tree of man, represented by the number sixty, and its height, the completion of how high man’s reach would attain, represented by the number sixty as well. Of course the cardinal points, and the points of the compass, that point man to the different directions into which the tree of man can grow is represented by the number three hundred and sixty, which is a simple multiplication of 60X6 = 360. Proverbs 20:24 “A man’s steps (his progression) are of the Lord; how then can a man understand his own way?” The answer to the question posed by our verse of Scripture is this: Through our understanding of the progression of the numbers; after all, we live in a mathematically correct universe. As a bilingual person I have a personal understanding of how difficult it is to translate from one language to another, because similar words do not always carry the same emphasis or stay true to their original meaning when transliterated. Even for those who only operate in one language, you know how difficult it can be to express yourselves sometimes, when spoken words seem inadequate to fully vent your emotions. But not so with numbers, for numbers are the perfect language, you cannot mistranslate a mathematical equation. Two times two will always equal four no matter what language you are using. The Word of God is not only Perfect in Truth, the truth it portrays no matter what language it is translated into, but the Word of God is Truth Perfected in its mathematical structure as well. Whatever we may be lacking in our perception of the written language is more than made up by the mathematical structure built within God’s Word that our spirit intuitively understands. In other words, there is a mathematical rhythm that governs the creation, including mankind, that causes our souls to move along or dance to, if you will, to the heavenly symphony. Now if I use dance as an example, not everybody dancing on the dance floor necessarily knows how to dance, some are just moving to the beat as they interpret it with their own bodies, and even those who may be moving along pretty good at the rhythm of the music, who may qualify as good dancers, may not necessarily understand the mathematical components that are built within the music that they are dancing to, but nevertheless they intuitively flow with it and enjoy it. But to those who understand the mathematical structure of the creation, the width and the height of the reach of man, a perception relative to their position in the tree of life is given, which allows them to dance the dance of life in perfect synchronization to the beat of the universe. Simply put, they are the ones that march in time with the times. 1 Chronicles 12:32 “Of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do…” Isn’t this what life is really about? Timing: doing the things that need to be done at the proper time. But the key here is knowledge, to have an understanding of, or to be aware of the times in which we are living. Proverbs 24:3-4 “Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” Here we see the progression of the steps that are ordered for man’s edification enumerated. If the house typifies a person, and it does, wisdom then represents the blueprint for that person’s life. It is through the understanding of the blueprint for that person’s life that the house is then established in accordance with what the blueprint defines that house or person should be. Psalm 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.” In other words, a person needs to understand what God’s plan for their life is, that is wisdom, if that person tries to establish his/her life outside of God’s plan for their lives, they labor in vain, that is foolishness. It is through the knowledge and implementation of this revelation of the wisdom of God, that the rooms of the human heart are filled with pleasant and precious things, which are the fruits of the Spirit of God. How do I know whether or not I am living a life that is built on the wisdom of God? Proverbs 24:5, 10 “A wise man is strong, yes, a man of knowledge increases strength...If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” Proverbs is only stating the obvious, if our faith is failing it is only because of our failure to understand the knowledge of God’s purpose for our lives, and our present position in the tree of life. Let us look at the numbers: God completed the creation in six days; Moses tells us in Psalm 90 that a day is like a thousand years to the Lord; we have about six thousand years of recorded human history within the biblical genealogy. We are fast approaching the closing of the church age which is the sixth dispensation in God’s chronology before we enter into the seventh dispensation of God’s rest. Jesus told us that the last generation would be the product of a world that was at war, where nations rose against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms, and that the end of the age would come before that generation ended. Daniel told us that in the last generation knowledge would increase exponentially and that travel would be world wide. By this many signs we can conclude that our position in the tree of life is that of fruit that is ripen and ready to be harvested; so that our lives need to be built in accordance to that. Did you know that for us, the saints of the end times, we are a generation that will leave no history behind us. What history will record about the saints of the end is that Jesus came and redeemed them. If you read the book of the Acts of the Saints it does not end, it is left open so that a future entry can be made on behalf of the saints that left no legacy other than that of remaining watchful and faithful to the very end. John 21:1-2 “After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this way He showed Himself: Simon Peter, Thomas called the twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee (two), and two others of His disciples were together.” Both the names and the number of the disciples in this account, give us insight into how Jesus is going to show Himself when He returns at the end of times. In other words, this event happened to typify a future event that will occur in our present day end time. Peter represents the Rock or Truth found in the promises of the Word of God upon which God’s church was founded and which Jesus is coming to redeem. Thomas represents the once doubters who have been enlightened by the accuracy of Biblical prophecy concerning the truth of Jesus’ imminent return. Nathanael represents the gift of God, which is our eternal salvation that Jesus brings with Him. The two sons of Zebedee means the sons of thunder, for Jesus will appear like a bolt of lightning that flashes across the sky at His coming. And the two unnamed others are representative of the Two Witnesses who will return with Jesus and stay here on the earth after the rapture. And the total of seven disciples present at His return means that all those who are resurrected and rapture at that time enter into the Day of His Rest, the Sabbath, or seventh day. John 21:8 “But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from land, but about two hundred cubits), dragging the net with the fish.” The two hundred cubits symbolizes the two days or two thousand years that the church age has been dragging in the net with the fish, which is representative of the church age. John 21:11 “Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken.” Here we see the completion of the harvested tree of life. Out of the six thousand years of time come forth one hundred and forty four generations, twenty four hours in one day represents twenty four generations every thousand years. 24 X 6 = 144 The church age is represented by the number seven. And the Two Witnesses that oversee here on the earth, after the rapture, the punishment inflicted on those who did not believe, to bring them to repentance, both of the Jews and of the church that were left behind. 144 generations + 7 the church + 2 witnesses = 153 grand total redeemed. We see this pattern also inside the Holy Place in the tabernacle of Moses, where the Table of Showbread had twelve loaves of bread that represented the twelve tribes of Israel. In Revelation chapter seven we see twelve thousand out of every tribe sealed: 12 X 12 = 144 or one hundred and forty four thousand. Opposite of the Table of Showbread, inside the Holy Place was the Menorah, the seven candle sticks which represented the church, the body of Christ. And on each side of the Menorah, two olive trees representative of the Two Witnesses, for a total of one hundred and fifty three, which completes the redemption of all the children of Light, a number so vast, that no one could count, and it can only be represented within the width and height of the Tree of Life. Revelation 7:9 “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands.” Make sure that you are one of those numbered , make sure that you are building your life in the expectation of Christ’s soon return. Top of Page Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING ANATOMY OF THE JEWISH FEASTS FOR 2020 to 2030 Daniel 9:22 “And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, “O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you SKILL TO UNDERSTAND.’” The archangel Gabriel gave to Daniel the revelation that would help us unfold the events that are going to take place at the end of the age of God’s Grace. This decade, 2020 to 2030, I believe, will be the decade when man’s final destiny here on earth will come to its fulfillment. ​ The road map to this end-time event is given to us in Leviticus chapter twenty three where the seven Jewish feasts of the Lord are given to point us into how to enter into the Day of God’s Rest, also known as the Sabbath Day or the one thousand year reign of Jesus here on the earth. ​ The first three feasts: The Lord’s Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the offering of the First Fruits they were symbolic of what Jesus did when He died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day. Important to know that their SYMBOLISM WAS COMPLETED. Jesus does not need to come again to die for our sins. The first three feasts have no symbolism associated with Jesus’ return to the earth in His second coming. ​ Hebrews 9:28 “So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. TO THOSE WHO EAGERLY WAIT FOR HIM He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.” ​ The first time that Jesus came was to save us from our sins. At His second coming He is coming to save us from God’s Wrath. ​ In between the first three feasts and the last three feasts God placed the Feast of Pentecost. The Feast of Pentecost connects the first coming of Jesus to the earth to His second coming in a unique way. The first three feasts take place on the first month of the Jewish lunar calendar, and the last three feasts take place on the seventh month of the Jewish lunar calendar. ​ The last of the first three feasts was First Fruits and it represented the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Jesus rose from the dead on a Sunday—the day after the Sabbath—and introduced to the world the Age of God’s Grace when the Holy Spirit fell upon His church on Sunday the fiftieth day after He rose from the dead. ​ Leviticus 23:16 “Count FIFTY DAYS to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a NEW GRAIN OFFERING to the Lord.” ​ The new grain offering represented the beginning of the Age of God’s Grace upon the earth, with the offering being that three thousand souls were saved and were added to the church that day. ​ Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” ​ The Age of God’s Grace upon the earth began exactly on the FIFTIETH day from the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and there were about ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY names that were filled with the Holy Spirit on that day. ​ We do not know the exact year when this event happened, but we know that Jesus was thirty-three and a half years of age when He died, and He was born probably around the year two BC. That would put the beginning of the Age of God’s Grace around the year thirty AD. ​ How does the Feast of Pentecost tie to the second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth? ​ The last three feasts are: ​ Rosh Hashana or blowing of the trumpets and is commemorated on the first day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar which begins with a new moon. The symbolism for Rosh Hashana is the blowing of the trumpets, warning to prepare for the end is coming soon. ​ The Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur begins on the tenth day of the seventh lunar month. The symbolism for the Day of Atonement is that the judgment of God has arrived. ​ The Feast of Tabernacles is on the fifteen day of the seventh lunar calendar month. The Feast of Tabernacles waits for the Day of the Lord’s Wrath to end—which is seven years period of time—then the Tabernacle age which is the thousand year’s reign of Christ on the earth begins. ​ 2 Peter 3:9-10 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night…” ​ God gave Daniel the skill to understand and how to put together the pieces of this prophetic puzzle. ​ Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks are determined FOR YOUR PEOPLE AND YOUR HOLY CITY, To finish transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, and To anoint the Most Holy.” ​ Seventy weeks or seventy times seven ads up to 490 years. This countdown of 490 years began when the command to restore and build Jerusalem was given. Daniel is told in Daniel 9:26 that when they reach 483 years, Messiah would come and die for our sins. ​ We know that Messiah died for our sins around the year 30 AD. When Peter tells us that God is not slack concerning His promises, he is referring to Daniels’ end-time prophecy. ​ You see, God paused Judgment Day when Jesus died and rose from the dead seven years short of the final fulfillment of the seventy weeks completion, why? So that His Gospel of mercy and forgiveness could be preached to the entire world before the final Day of Judgment! God is trying to save as many people as He can before the final judgment. ​ But Peter tells us that the day of the Lord—God’s final judgment day—will come as a thief in the night upon THOSE WHO ARE NOT EAGERLY WAITING FOR HIM to appear a second time, apart from sin. Those who are eagerly waiting for Jesus to appear are not just looking for forgiveness, but they are looking for redemption as well. ​ Jesus came the first time to save us from our sinful nature: He came to finish TRANSGRESSION, to make an end of SINS, and to make reconciliation for INIQUITY. All these things we receive by faith and are available to all who confess Jesus as Savior and Lord and become born again believers. ​ Psalm 32:1-2 “Blessed is he whose TRANSGRESSION is forgiven, whose SIN is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute INIQUITY.” ​ When He comes the second time, He is coming to rescue us from this world of sin and perversity while He judges the inhabitants of this world: seeing that He is coming to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. It is going to take seven years to complete the cleansing of this earth while we wait in the clouds with Jesus. ​ The Feast of Trumpets will usher in signs and wonders to warn us to get ready to be taken out before God’s final seven years judgment begins. During the seven years Day of Atonement, God cleanses the earth, and He rids it of sin and sinners. This will lead as to the Feast of Tabernacles which symbolizes the beginning and the completion of the one thousand years reign of Christ on the renewed earth. ​ The church of Jesus Christ was empowered to proclaim the Gospel when the fiftieth day, the day of Jubilee had fully come. How long was the grace of God to be proclaimed by His church? One hundred and twenty is the symbolic number for the duration of God’s grace. Since God gave the world 120 years of grace before He destroyed the world of old in the days of Noah. ​ Why were there 120 names filled with the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost? They represent all who are saved under the duration of the age of God’s grace which is two thousand years upon the earth. How does that connect to the latter feasts? The church began on the fiftieth day and it will end on the one hundred and twentieth day with the start of the Day of Atonement. ​ Revelation 3:4-5 “You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defile their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will NOT blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.” ​ I believe that there will be 120 literal days between the last Feast of Pentecost and the Day of Atonement when the final judgment begins. If you look at the Jewish calendar for the Feasts for this 2020 to 2030 decade you will find that the days between Pentecost and Atonement varies between 117 days to 124 days. ​ When I talk about the Day of Pentecost, I am not referring to our regular calendar that very often does not match the dates on the Hebrew calendar feasts. I am following the Hebrew calendar that has the Feast of First Fruits take place on the day after the Sabbath of the Passover week. ​ I believe that the rapture of the church will take place right before the literal Day of Atonement begins. I also believe that the Day of Atonement will fall on a Sabbath or Saturday. On 2024 the Day of Atonement falls on a Saturday. I also believe that there will be exactly 120 days from Pentecost to the Day of God’s final judgment on the year that His wrath begins on the earth. ​ Even if the number of days match perfectly or fail to match between them, we cannot set dates because of the many variables in prophecy. For example, the Feast of Trumpets begins on the new moon, for it is the first day of the Jewish month, if the moon fails to give its light, which is one of the signs associated with the Feast of Trumpets, then it does not matter if in any given cycle you do not have the exact 120 days necessary to connect Pentecost to the Day of atonement. God simply does not allow the moon to shine and the new lunar month to start until it lines up with His heavenly calendar of dates and Sabbaths. ​ Acts 2:20 “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.” ​ Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light…” ​ The ten days between the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement are going to be days of wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath. You better know you are saved before they arrive, for the rapture will follow immediately after the ten days are concluded. ​ Matthew 24:13-14 “But he who endures till the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom (age) will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then THE END WILL COME.” ​ God punished Israel for FORTY YEARS when they lacked faith to enter into the Promised Land under Moses’ leadership, which serves as a type for their future punishment. National Israel failed to accept Jesus as their Messiah when He first came, for their rebellion God has punished Israel for FORTY JUBILEES: 40X50=2000 years. Instead of Israel entering into their day of rest they were driven out of their land, and for 2000 thousand years they were disinherited from the land while God proclaimed His Gospel to all the nations through His church. ​ Israel had to be restored as a nation before the Lord can end the Age of Grace and remove His church to complete the seven years left for Israel in Daniel’s prophecy. Then God can bring in everlasting righteousness, seal up vision and prophecy and anoint the Most Holy, that is, usher in His thousand years reign. ​ Jesus told us that the generation that witnessed the rebirth of Israel would not pass away until all these things that we are writing about would be fulfilled. When did the last generation begin? We could say that it was with the rebirth of the nation of Israel in 1948, but remember what Gabriel told Daniel: FOR YOUR PEOPLE AND YOUR HOLY CITY. That final generation began when Jerusalem was taken by Israel in the Six Day War in 1967. The two go together as one. ​ In Psalm 90:10 Moses tells us that the length of a generation is seventy years long and eighty if by reason of strength. Look what Jesus tells the Philadelphia church that will be raptured. ​ Revelation 3:8 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; FOR YOU HAVE LITTLE STRENGTH, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.” ​ In the very verse that Jesus tells us the requirements to go up in the rapture: which are, KEEPING HIS WORD, that is, believing that all sixty-six books of the Bible were inspired by God’s Holy Spirit; and have NOT DENIED HIS NAME, that is His deity. For if Jesus is the biological son of Joseph, then we are all still in our sins. In this critical portion of Scripture He includes the words little strength. A clue to the seventy years duration of the last generation here on the earth before He returns to set up His Kingdom. ​ If the last generation is seventy years long and all these things that we have been reading tell us that they must conclude before this generation is up, where does that leave us? Well, if the last generation began in 1967 it must conclude before 2037: 1967 + 70 = 2037. ​ 2 Peter 3:8 “But, beloved, do not forget THIS ONE THING, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” ​ Israel is destined to take eternal possession of their Promised Land at the completion of their allotted punishment of forty jubilees: 40 X 50 jubilees which equals two thousand years, and if their punishment began on the Day of Pentecost 30 AD, then they must take final possession of the promise land by the year 2030 AD if 30 AD was the day that Jesus rose from the dead. ​ That is how important this 2020 to 2030 decade is. If we are understanding prophecy correctly we are right in the thick of things. Things will happen in the church and in the world in the next couple of years that we could not have predicted, but wait, those things are happening right now. I first wrote about this decade of destiny on December 27, 2019. Little did I know the magnitude of what was coming and as of this writing we are only in the end of July 2020. ​ Hosea 6:1-3 “Come, and let us return to the Lord; for He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. AFTER TWO DAYS He will revive us; on the THIRD DAY He will raise us up, that we MAY LIVE IN HIS SIGHT. Let us know, LET US PURSUE THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE LORD. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, like the latter and former rain to the earth.” ​ Numbers 10:2-4 “Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work; YOU SHALL USE THEM (emphasis mine) for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps. When they blow both of them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. But if they blow only one, then the leaders, the heads of the division of Israel, shall gather to you.” ​ I wrote about the meaning of the two silver trumpets back in 2008, as having to do with two comets appearing in the sky before the end of the age of Grace. A comet in the sky resembles a silver trumpet of the kind used during Moses’ day. ​ If the analogy is correct, the presence of one comet would be a sign for the leaders of Israel to prepare themselves to appear before the tabernacle of meeting. The presence of two comets would be a call for all of Israel to gather together and be ready to meet their Lord. ​ I believe the two comets represent the Two Witnesses, who will come down from heaven during the rapture to get Israel ready for the Day of Atonement. It is interesting that this 2020 decade is starting with one comet that will be visible to the naked eye in Israel during the latter feasts. ​ Matthew 24:30-31 “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a TRUMPET, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” ​ ARE YOU READY FOR THE RAPTURE?!!! ​ Acts 2:21 “And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ​ Today is the day of salvation, do not miss the Lord’s return. To understand, become a believer by saying this prayer out loud: Dear Jesus, I ask You to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name amen! 1 John 2:27 NKJV 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you [a]will abide in Him. What is the anointing? It’s something that God gives you, the believer, that abides in you. It allows you to be taught the Word of God by this ‘anointing’ and not man. It is truthful and not misleading nor is it contaminated by man’s way of thinking or beliefs. First, we need to ask ourselves what is the anointing because once we recognize what that is, we can move to the next step, abiding in Him, to activate this anointing. Acts 2:2-3 NKJV 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them [a]divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. On April 9, 1906, we saw this same thing happen on Azusa street, downtown Los Angeles. The news quickly spread; the city was stirred; crowds gathered; and a few days later Seymour himself received the Holy Spirit; services were moved outside to accommodate the crowds who came from all around; people fell down under the power of God as they approached; people were baptized in the Holy Spirit and the sick were healed and sinners received salvation.[2] This is the same thing that happened when the 120 individuals were in the upper room waiting after Jesus ascended into heaven in Acts chapter 2. The anointing has physical attributes. It’s a mighty rushing wind that comes. It feels like being hit by a bolt of lightening. It physically feels like you’re knocked down and folks start speaking in tongues that people will recognize as their own language. Acts even describes those tongues as fire on top of each of those persons. You may want to take a moment to read Acts chapter 2. It also draws a lot of attention. In both Acts and Azusa street revivals, people were drawn, saved, healed, and delivered. Is this anointing dead? I ask this question because I don’t see this happening today, June 13, 2021. Why don’t we see it anymore? If it happened in Acts and on Azusa street, it can happen today and we know it will happen just before the return of the Lord on that great and dreadful day of the Lord: Acts 2:17-20 NKJV 17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. So, if this should happen in the end times, we need to take a closer look at this and be ready for it because we’re already seeing people have dreams and visions. We saw Israel became a name in 1947. We saw Jerusalem become the capital in 1967. We saw the pestilence of covid, we’re seeing large earthquakes, we’re seeing wars and rumor of wars – Matthew 24, Luke 21, Jeremiah 30:3, etc. One very important factor to notice about Acts and the Azusa street revival is at the beginning of both events. People were waiting in a dwelling place. Let’s read 1 John 2:27 again… 1 John 2:27 NKJV 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you [a]will abide in Him. Notice the last statement: ‘will abide in Him’. What does it mean to ‘abide in Him’ and why is that important? Jeremiah 30:18a NKJV “Thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will bring back the captivity of Jacob’s tents, And have mercy on his dwelling places; Jeremiah 30:21b-22 NKJV Then I will cause him to draw near, And he shall approach Me; For who is this who pledged his heart to approach Me?’ says the Lord. 22 ‘You shall be My people, And I will be your God.’ ” First, Jeremiah tells us that the Lord will bring back the captivity of Jacob’s tents – dwelling place. Where you are, is your dwelling place. Jeremiah tells us that God will have mercy on that dwelling place. Mercy means forgiveness. Where you are, ask God to forgive you. As Job did it all the time for himself, and his family, we should do so always also. I suggest reading the book of Job at your earliest convenience. Second, once you have that mercy, how should you respond? How do you show your thankfulness. Read Jeremiah 30:22 again. 22 ‘You shall be My people, And I will be your God.’ ” In your dwelling place, say this: “God, I belong to You and You belong to me”. That’s one way to say thank you. Or another words, praise and worship Him. Say things that acknowledges God is great. Here are a couple of scriptures that praises God: Matthew 21:42 NKJV 42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing, And it is marvelous in our eyes’? You can call Him the chief cornerstone knowing that He is marvelous. Psalm 8:1 NKJV 8 O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! You can tell Him how great is His name and how His glory is above the heavens. I’ll let you take the adventure from here to explore other ways from the Word of God on what to say during praise and worship. Now that you’re in the dwelling place, declaring that God belongs to you and you belong to God, now you wait. The 120 waited – Acts 2…William Seymour and those seven men waited. I take back my family members and atone on their behalf by saying the following: I stand in their shoes and lift their hands and my hands to the Heavenly Father saying, Lord, forgive us our sins, come into our hearts, and be our Lord and Savior as Romans 10:9 KJV says “9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” For I choose to atone and believe on behalf of my family, in-laws, and up to my fourth cousins in the Name of Jesus, the Son of the Living God. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. OTHER TEACHINGS THE ENTIRETY OF YOUR WORD IS TRUTH Psalm 119:160 “The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.” If there is a kink in the armor of the faithful it has to be in their failure to comprehend the entirety of truth presented to us in God’s Word. It was Pilate who beholding into the face of Truth, stupidly asked what has to be the dumbest question ever asked: What is truth? John 18:38 “Pilate said to Him, ‘What is truth?’...I find no fault in Him at all.” ​ I do not fault people for not knowing what truth is if they have not met Truth, but Pilate met Truth in person and recognized Him to be Truth, for he also said that he found no fault in Him; if there is no fault in Him then He is the real thing, the entirety of truth. Is there something going on here that can help us to understand what the entirety of God’s Truth is? Let’s take a look at what Jesus said to Pilate first, who by the way, was not a stupid man, for Pilate’s position required him to be astute in both, politics and governance, which requires great insight into matters of understanding people’s behavior in regards to the application of laws. John 18:37 “Pilate therefore said to Him, ‘Are you a king then?’ Jesus answered, ‘You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.’” Pilate knew that the charges that they were brought against Jesus were politically motivated, for the ministry of Jesus was a threat to the Jewish leadership of that time. Pilate saw this as a struggle for power between the Jews, and he saw himself as the kingmaker. So that in essence what Pilate asked Jesus was this, Tell me, why should I make You a king, what’s in it for me? To which Jesus responded, You know that I am a King for you have seen My authority (I’m paraphrasing). Then Jesus reveals to Pilate what His ministry, or kingship, was really all about, For this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. It was at that point that Pilate crossed the line, in what is a normal human response when confronted with undeniable truth, he turned and mocked Truth! After that Pilate tried unsuccessfully to extricate himself from the matter. He tried to release Jesus indirectly, by putting Him side by side with the worse criminal, but they chose the criminal over Jesus. He had Jesus tortured and punished by having Him scourged, mocked, and ridiculed, then he brought Jesus before His accusers and said: John 19:5 “Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, ‘Behold the Man!’” But it was not enough to satisfy the lie, for the lie can never exist while in the presence of Truth, no matter how much the truth is ridiculed. John 19:6 “Therefore, when the chief priest and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, ‘Crucify Him, crucify Him!’ Pilate said to them, ‘You take Him and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him.’” The reality is that once a person is confronted with Truth there is no going back, they can try to suppress the truth all they want, but like in the case of Pilate’s actions, to no avail. What is the message here for us who believe that Jesus is the Truth? Is He the entirety of Truth, or like Pilate, are we struggling to come to terms with the reality of it? Let me explain what I mean. Here is what the second part of our opening text reveals to us. Every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. Our normal human response to truth is to recognize it at first, but we are also influenced to believe that truth can change in response to the changing circumstances. In other words, we inheritably take issue with absolute truth that endures forever. We inherited that predisposition from Adam and Eve who believed the lie of the devil at the cost of partaking of the tree of life, which is: Every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. So that as Christians we are confronted with a constant assault against the truth of the Word of God in which we first believed. All the devil has to do is to get us to doubt just one of His righteous judgments, and just like that, we will find ourselves outside of the absolute truth that endures forever. And like Pilate we try hard to make up for our deficiencies and we just end up making it worse. Here is the key that keeps us from falling away from the Word of Truth: Psalm 119:157 “Many are my persecutors and my enemies, yet I do not turn from Your testimonies.” I do not turn from Your testimonies, plural, that means I keep every one of them, and I know that His testimonies, or covenant, endure forever. In order to keep all His testimonies, all the time, we need to understand the covenant that God has secured to His testimonies. For we cannot keep any of His testimonies outside of the covenant of salvation. Hebrews 6:17-18 “Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel (His testimonies), confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.” The context is the priesthood of Jesus as the mediator of the new covenant, and it is within this context that God takes an oath which is based on two immutable, or unchangeable things: First is the fact that it is impossible for God to lie. The second is that God swore to the priest from Melchizedek’s line that He would not change His mind. Hebrews 7:21 “...The Lord has sworn and will not relent (change His mind), ‘You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.’” Can you see how God deals with the tendency of our fallen human nature to see truth from the context of changing? He removes any grounds to doubt that we may entertain, by basing the New Covenant on two unchangeable facts: The God who cannot lie, swore that He would not change His mind! In the natural we see some things that are very dear to us today, fall out of our favor tomorrow. Persons that we love and have sworn to love in the past, can give us reason today that causes us to change our minds and our feelings towards them. And that is how we tend to see ourselves in the sight of God. When we are trusting in His testimonies we feel good and secured. When we struggle to comprehend the truth of His promises to us, we wonder if we’ve done something that caused Him to change His mind about us. Without love there is no way to resolve this. Psalm 119:165 “Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.” I love His law because I love Jesus; God’s law, God’s Word, God’s promises, God’s statutes, are one and the same with Jesus! The law of the Lord is perfect because Jesus is perfect! The law of the Lord is perfected in us when we put our trust in the entirety of God’s Word! Jesus is perfect in every way, therefore we love and trust Jesus in every way, there is no reason then why we should not put our trust in the entirety of God’s Word at all times, all the time, for ever and forever. Jesus loves us and has saved us; He swore on an oath, and He cannot lie, that He would not change His mind about His love for us. He loves us eternally and unconditionally, is there any reason why we should not love Him and His Word eternally and unconditionally as well? I see none! How do we handle then, the daily barrage that continuously confronts our trust and confidence in the Word and promises of God to us? Psalm 119:158 “I see the treacherous, and am disgusted, because they do not keep Your word.” Here is something new, instead of distrust, when doubts are raised about the veracity of God’s Word, it is disgust toward the slanderers that raises up from within us. Is it not so that when something treasured that is beautiful and lovely is slandered, that contempt towards the slanderers is what rises? Why should we doubt the immutable and unchangeable Word of God that promises us God’s unending, fervent, and perfect love? Is not Jesus the manifestation of God’s perfect love towards us? John 3:17 “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” What part of Jesus do we not love or agree with? If we love and agree with all that Jesus is and did for us, then we also must believe that the entirety of God’s Word is truth. Since it is God’s Word who testifies of Him and of His love and of His covenant that He made on our behalf. We cannot and should not have one outside of the other! Psalm 119:166 “Lord, I hope for Your salvation, and I do Your commandments.” James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” Back to Other Teachings

Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING THE MIGHTY ONE IS COMING, HE WILL SAVE US. Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” There has never been a time in the history of the Christian church when so many of the signs that point to the end of times have been revealed, and when so many of the end time prophecies that precede the Lord’s return have been fulfilled. We are not only the generation that will witness the glorious return of our Lord to save us, but we are right in the end of the time that has been allotted to that final generation. The return of our Lord is imminent! It is implied in our opening text that before our Lord returns, that it would be a time of great turbulence and upheaval, for we are told that at His return He will quiet us with His love. Let us take a sober look at how the events that are taking place all around us right now fit within the prophetic scenario that is given before the return of our Lord. Zephaniah 3:1-2 “Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, to the oppressing city! She has not obeyed His voice, she has not received correction; she has not trusted in the Lord, she has not drawn near to her God.” When Zephaniah first uttered his prophetic words, they were meant as an indictment against the city of Jerusalem and the people of Judah. But it is very clear within the context of his prophecy that there is a double meaning to his prophetic vision that clearly is applicable to what the prophet calls the day of the Lord’s fierce anger, that foretells about the end of time, as we see in the opening verses of his prophetic vision. Zephaniah 1:2-3 “I will utterly consume (make a complete end of) everything from the face of the land, says the Lord; I will consume man and beast; I will consume the birds of the heavens, the fish of the sea, and the stumbling blocks (idols) along with the wicked. I will cut off man from the face of the land (ground), says the Lord.” It is clear from the sweeping judgments against man, beast, sea, ground, air, idols, and the wicked, presented in the opening of this prophecy, that God was clearly foretelling something more than what their present condition required, He was also speaking about the Day of the Lord’s wrath during the time of the latter days, our present day time. So that when He said in the previous verse: Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted about the city of Jerusalem of Zephaniah’s day, that He also had an end time entity in mind as well. It is very possible that the Lord is referring to a large portion of end time Christianity, what He calls in Revelation the Laodicea church. Revelation 3:15-17 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.” It is clear from the context that our Lord’s focus is against Christian religious organizations of the end times that seem to be standing in their own merits and traditions, rather than having a continuous need for the Lord to be their entire focus; refusing the correction of the Holy Spirit, and not fully trusting in the Lord as their redeemer, having need of nothing. When a church entity becomes organized to the point that their bylaws and traditions take precedent over the guidance and counsel of the Holy Spirit, that church entity is in rebellion to the will of God for her and by her rebellion becomes polluted; it ceases to be a house of deliverance and becomes a house of oppressing legalism. If we think of the two thousand years church history as training and preparation for an event that will surpass every other event in human history, the coming of the Mighty One, then we can see why it is so important that the church be obedient and prepared, for we do not know how events will unfold before His return, so that we need to be in tune with His Word and with the revelation that the Holy Spirit brings to get us ready to be taken up with Him in a moments notice. Zephaniah 3:4 “Her prophets are insolent, treacherous people; her priests have polluted (profaned) the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law (did not stay true to His Word).” In the book of Revelation, the difference between the Philadelphia church that gets taken up in the rapture, and the Laodicea church that gets left behind, is that the Philadelphia church kept His Word and did not deny the Lord’s name, obviously the Laodicea church had need of none of those things, for it could stand on its own religious merits. Zephaniah 3:5 “The Lord is righteous in her midst, He will do no unrighteousness, every morning He brings His justice to light; He never fails, but the unjust knows no shame.” The Lord makes it very clear that even though the Laodicea church is in disobedience, that it still belongs to Him for He is in her midst, and after all, He promised His church to never leave her nor to forsake her; so if He were to abandon her that would be wrong, and He will do no unrighteousness, even if they continuously flaunt their disobedience in spite of His daily warnings against her, but they seem to know no shame. Who are these people? It is hard for me to reconcile the Christianity that I know with some of the people that are described as Christian ministers during the end of time in many of the end time prophecies. But Zephaniah gives us some great insight that will help us identify who some of these people might be, for they will be sharing some of the same qualities that the prophets and priests of his days had. Zephaniah 1:4-5 “I will stretch out My hand against Judah, and against the inhabitants of Jerusalem (for our present day interpretation this prophecy is against the Laodicea church). I will cut every trace of Baal (the false lord, or the other Jesus that they preach) from this place, (along with) the names of the idolatrous priests (Christian ministers that practice or follow pagan traditions along) with the pagan priests—those who worship the host of heaven on the house tops (astrologers); those who worship and swear oaths by the Lord (clearly referring to Christians), but also swear by Milcom (or Molech, to whom infants were offered as sacrifices during Zephaniah’s time, our present day abortionists).” We can clearly see that in end time Christianity there will be different churches, that to different degrees, will preach another Jesus, along with a different gospel that is influenced by the spirit of paganism, and that many of them will be supporters of abortion rights. And this is what they will acknowledge by their actions, the actions that will eventually bring God’s judgment upon them: Zephaniah 1:6 “Those (these are they that) who have turned back from following the Lord, and have not sought the Lord, nor inquired of Him.” Zephaniah 1:12 “And it shall come to pass at that time that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and punish the men who are settled in complacency (lukewarmness, the Laodicea church), who say in their heart, ‘The Lord will not do good, nor will He do evil.’” If religion has a goal, it is that of pushing God out to the back so that it, religion, can become the final arbiter in any given matter. In order to do that it has to neutralize God first, to the point where God becomes a bystander, a simple observer, and therefore it falls upon religion the sacred duties of deciding what is right and what is wrong. However, this is what God says is going to happen to religion when the time for God to act finally comes: Zephaniah 1:13 “Therefore their goods shall become booty, and their houses a desolation; they shall build houses, but not inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards, but not drink their wine.” What it finally boils down to is the fact that religion cannot sustain itself in the day of God’s wrath. For the day of God’s wrath is a day when the truth is revealed, and religion is built on a myth, the myth that God is not active in man’s affairs, and that He will not involve Himself in the everyday workings of His creation. This is why the belief that Jesus is coming back soon for His church, to set up His everlasting kingdom, is laughed at by many within the Laodicea church today. But how is this for their wake-up call! Zephaniah 1:14-16 “The great day of the Lord is near; it is near and hastens quickly, the noise of the day of the Lord is bitter; there the mighty men shall cry out. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of devastation and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of trumpet and alarm against the fortified cities and against the high towers.” If I can encapsulate the flavor of what the prophet is telling us, this is how I would do it: That the day of the Lord is COMING SOON! And that the day of the Lord is REAL! And that the day of the Lord if going to be a BAD DAY! The day of the Lord is a day from which we will need to be RESCUED! The only way that a reasonable person, a person that calls himself a believer, cannot understand the clarity with which the Scriptures describes the end of times, is if such a person just decides that God does not mean what he says in His Word. In other words, they do not keep His Word, because if they do they would have to do away with all of their idolatries and man made doctrines. But as usual there is hope for those of us who put our hopes in Him, and who trust on the veracity of God’s Word, and not on the corrupted religious traditions of men and demons by which so many unwilling Christians are enslave into their idolatry. Zephaniah 2:3 “Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have held up His justice (Word). Seek righteousness (not religion), seek humility (realize that we are always in need of Him and His grace). It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger.” There is a price to pay for being an ardent adherent of God’s Word, there is no doubt about that. We are ridiculed constantly for the fervency with which we believe the inerrancy of Scripture, many a times from our own quarters. We are defamed in many instances, not just by the world, but by Laodicean Christians that believe that our stance against compromise with the world is a hindrance to their version of Christianity being accepted by the world, even though we are clearly warned in Scripture against being loved by the world or us loving the things that the world stands for: 1 John 2:15 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him.” But you see, once you start denying the parts of Scripture that hinder what it is that you want to accomplish in what you yourself believe, then what is there to keep you from removing anything else from Scripture that does not conform with your relationship with the world? Here is the reason why we need to stay true to the Word of God. This is what God promises those who endure the afflictions of their ridicule and ostracizing for our staying true, in spite of their persecution and defamation, to the Word of God. Zephaniah 3:18-20 “I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly (the condition of the Laodicean church), who are among you, to whom its reproach is a burden. Behold, at that time I will deal with all who afflict you; I will save the lame (those whose ministry was hindered by their slanderous accusations), and gather those who were driven out (kicked out of their churches for exposing their compromise); I will appoint them for praise and fame in every land (place) where they were put to shame. At that time I will bring you back, even at the time I gather you; for I will give you fame and praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I return your captives before your eyes, says the Lord.” Those who compromise the Word of God today, do it to gain the praise and fame of the world, and in a twist of irony, that is exactly what God is going to give to those who refuse to compromise the Word of God today, in the world that is to come.
