BUILDING YOUR ARK

Minister Lisa Kane

April 3, 2022

In this teaching, Lisa Kane draws from Genesis 6–7 and the story of Noah to illustrate how God calls His people to prepare for coming judgment and times of shaking. While prophetic scriptures in Ezekiel, Matthew 24, and Revelation describe catastrophic events such as earthquakes, wars, and the tribulation, the message emphasizes the hope and safety available to the righteous in Christ.

Believers are urged to live not merely as “saved” but as those who walk in righteousness—much like the wise virgins who kept oil in their lamps. Building one’s ark involves cultivating intimacy with God through prayer, worship, meditating on His Word, and partaking of holy communion. This daily obedience and spiritual discipline provide the “wood, nails, and pitch” that construct a secure place in Christ, the chief cornerstone and strong tower.

The message highlights the contrast between mere belief and righteous living, showing how parables such as the Sower and the Ten Virgins apply to end-time preparation. By pursuing righteousness, believers fill their lives with the anointing oil of the Holy Spirit, remain steadfast in faith, and are ready when the day of the Lord comes.

Ultimately, “Building Your Ark” is a call to spiritual readiness, reminding the Church that in Christ, the righteous run to Him and are safe, even amid prophetic fulfillment and tribulation.

Objective:

The purpose of this message is to encourage believers to live righteously and prepare spiritually for the end times by “building their ark” through prayer, meditation on God’s Word, holy communion, and walking in obedience. Just as Noah prepared his ark through faith and obedience, Christians are called to prepare their spiritual lives to be preserved and protected in the day of the Lord.

Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022. This message is called Building Your Ark. This is an awesome message and you might want to have some tissue around because you're going to need it because this is going to minister to you as a righteous believer. Amen. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we lift up this word to you and ask for your blessing and anointing on it. let it minister to us and give us that comfort and that peace that we need here in these end times. Thank you for opening up our minds to see and receive this, opening up our hearts to believe and to apply it to our lives. In the glorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. All right, let's go to our opening scripture here. This message is called building your ark. We're going to start with Genesis chapter 7:es 1 and verse4. Then the Lord said to Noah, "Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation. For after seven more days, I will cause it to rain on the earth 40 days and 40 nights, and I will destroy from the face of the earth all living things that I have made."

Last week, or excuse me, two weeks ago, I used this scripture in the message that I taught on. And in the last couple of messages, I dealt with the day of the Lord and no one knows the day nor the hour. And I dealt with the Ezekiel 38 and 39. So, it's been a series of messages that been dealing with prophecy. And you know, I get it. It sounds like it's all doom and gloom because prophecies are horrendous. I mean, Ezekiel talks about that great earthquake on the day of the Lord and that every wall falls. So, where does the bride of Christ get raptured in there? and how does that work? I mean, we we want to understand where we need to be in this. And I I don't have the answers for that. But what I did do is I asked the Lord, I said, I see Noah was put into his ark seven days before. And God told Noah, Noah seven days before that, I'm going to destroy the earth in seven days and have it rain 40 days and 40 nights. So, no one knew. Okay? So, when you know there is a mystery about no one knows the day nor the hour. Check out that last message I taught on and you will understand uh how that applies here because there are two resurrections. We're dealing with the resurrection of the bride of Christ and the resurrection with Israel. But this scripture is for the bride of Christ. These are all of us who believe or what I'm going to be teaching on today is all of us who believe on Jesus. He is our savior. But we're also applying him and living him, living through him, living with him, living as him righteously in today's day. Noah as a righteous man was able to survive the flood. So what I'm going to teach on today is surviving well the day of the Lord. Now, um because I if I look at it chronologically on that day of the Lord, you're looking at the Russia invasion into Israel, Russia being killed and that blood filling up the valley of Armageddon. Then you're looking at um the sky being scrolled away. God is showing himself to the entire world. Everyone's looking up. And then there's this great earthquake or the great earthquake and then the sky scrolls. Not sure, but every wall falls is what Ezekiel calls it. Then there's a the ceiling of the 144,000. And then after the ceiling of the 144,000, you see all these people up in heaven all of a sudden. So you're sitting here going, "Okay, well, is that the chronological thing?" And keep in mind, this could happen in minutes. It could happen in hours, but it is the day of the Lord, and this will happen on that day prophetically. So what I want to teach you is the righteous part of this. Let's let's recall the parable of the 10 virgins. They're all believers in Christ. 50% made it into the wedding. 50% did not. So why didn't the 50% make it? They didn't have enough oil. You need to prepare. This is why Jesus is saying, he didn't say no one knows when. He said no one knows the day or the hour because he wants you to prepare. Which means we need to be in prayer and watching. And when we're in prayer, we are letting the spirit fill with the anointing of the oil. especially if we're speaking in tongues. So, we fill up with the anointing oil because God is the shakina glory. We spend time with God in his presence. We fill up with that anointing oil and the shakina glory. So, when that day comes, we go uh because it is a blessing to those who live righteously and choose to do this. And those that don't believe, well, there's and those that do believe but aren't living righteously, there is a mystery to that. And I want to show that to you, too. So, let's get into our next set of scriptures, and I'm going to show you and lay this out for you so you have an understanding of how this works. Okay? So, we're going to go into first Peter 2. We're going to look at verses 4 to8. coming to him as to a living stone rejected indeed by men but chosen by God and precious. You also as living stones. I wanted to pause here. You see what they're saying? The scriptures say you also living stones. So you've got the chief cornerstone who is Jesus. We're living as Jesus as Christlike. Okay. So this is applicable to us. Watch what Peter says here. You also as living stones are being built up a spiritual house. Remember, we're going to be talking about building your ark. This is hallelujah. This is this is awesome. Okay, I just say this is a great message. Build up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Therefore, it is also contained in the scripture, behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect precious, and he who believes on him will by no means be put to shame. Therefore, to you who believe, he is precious. And let me pause there because for us believers that are choosing to live righteously, God is precious. And spending time with him is wonderful and lovely and you're filling up with that anointing oil and it is just absolutely beautiful. He's so precious. you put him first. Okay, you see how this is working? Now, let's look at the flip side of that. Continuing on here, but to those who are disobedient, the stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone and a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense. They stumble being disobedient to the word to which they also were appointed. Okay, so this is for everybody who chooses to live like this, but not everybody chooses to live like this. What happens is there is a parable. It's called the parable of the swer. We're going to look at that scripturally. And I want you to understand something here. As you become a believer in Christ, there are different reactions to the Bible. So, a believer, you know, and and I want you to understand something. The moment you confess your sins and you ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, you're saved. Okay? No one will uh how does the word say? Um, all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. If you called on him once in your lifetime, that's it. You're saved. Your name is written in the lamb's book of life. And I contend that it is written in blood. And you can't erase blood. Okay? Now, that doesn't mean you live righteously. It just means you're a believer. Keep in mind, look at Noah when he went up. Look at his predecessors. Methuselah passed away. He was a righteous man. Lamech was there. He uh as a one of the founding fathers there. I don't know how righteous he was. He wasn't called righteous by God, but as a believer, he believed and he was part of that line. So, you have to understand and realize you got different types of people here. Okay? So, let's look at the parable of the swer. And I want you to see what believers do. Now, remember, I'm trying to talk about righteous living to build the ark. But I want you to understand the difference between a righteous living person and a saved person. Different people. Okay? Please understand that different different. All right. Parable of the swer. We're going to look at Matthew 13 18-23. Therefore, hear the parable of the swer. When anyone hears a word of the kingdom and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy. Yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word and be and he becomes unfruitful. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it who indeed bears fruit and produces some 100fold some 60 and some 30. Okay. So you can see the difference now. The moment somebody receives the word, it depends on where they're at. Which means you who become a believer have to build your ark. You have to take the responsibility to get that word to apply and grow in you. Remember, how did God make man? He made him out of dirt. Your dirt. Dirt. dirt. You are dirt. And so what happens is when you become a believer, God planted a seed in your heart. He planted seed in dirt in you. And then when you go get water baptized, you go down under the water. You come up, you saturate the soil with water, you water the seed, the seed begins to germinate. Now, how you go with that seed is up to you. Because see, you need to build your tree because you need the wood to build your ark. So you see the difference of righteous living versus just being a believer because sometimes when you just become a believer, you get you're so caught up in the world and what you see and what you hear, nothing spiritual and you're so caught up that you drown out and you can't go any further because you're not taking the action to go forward. Okay. Difference. You're saved. Remember the the the the parable of the of the 10 virgins. You know, 50% of them made it in the rapture. That is applying to the rapture. But they're all believers. And anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That's Joel chapter 2 and that is Romans chapter 10:13. Says it twice. Says it in the Old Testament. It says it in the New Testament. Hallelujah. Okay. So, I want you to understand the difference here. So now that you understand there is a blessing for those who live righteous and that righteous living building your ark is what's going to save you when the pro prophecy of this great earthquake where every wall falls, the sky is scrolled and you see God looking down at you. You will be saved because you are in Jesus and you built your ark. So now we're going to start building your ark. And I want you to see these scriptures and I want you to see how this applies because this is for the righteous. Let's look at the scripture here in Psalm. How long this Psalm 4:es 2-5. How long, oh you sons of men, will you turn my glory to shame? Again, we're talking two different groups of people. Okay? So, please understand, we're seeing lawlessness and we're seeing righteous living. Watch this. How long will you love worthlessness and seek falsehood, say, "But know that the Lord has set apart for himself who is godly. The Lord will hear when I call to him. Be angry and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed and be still, say, Lah. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness and put your trust in the Lord. Now, did you see that? God just told you how to live righteously. He said, let's go back. Meditate within your heart on your bed and be still. Then before he says, be angry and do not sin. You have the right to be angry, by the way. You can't let it control you, but you have the right to be angry like what's going on in the world or or the unjust when somebody comes at you unjustly. You get the you have the right to say, you know what, Lord, that makes me angry. Anyways, that's a whole another message in and of itself, but I want you to see I was telling you to meditate on your bed. So again, you can go back to Psalm 91. All my teachings I did last year all pretty much ended up with dwelling in the secret place with the Lord. And that is Psalm 91. And that's what all that is about. So here he's saying meditate on his word. Now you're starting to see what righteous living is like. Now remember the word went to the cross. Oh,

okay. Now we're going to show you how to build your ark here. And I'm going to go to Mark here. Let's go look at another scripture. Mark 8:34. When he had called the people to himself with his disciples also, he said to them, "Whoever desires to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." Jesus hadn't died on the cross yet. Not at that point. You read all the gospels at that point and you will see that he hadn't done it yet. I bet you these people are sitting there going, "What's he talking about? Take up his own cross." He didn't know. But now that we know that he died on the cross. So again, here is that righteous living. Take up your cross. Sacrifices of righteousness. What is that? Spending time with God is a sacrifice. Your time is valuable. Especially in today's world. We live in a fast acting world where we have to change with the economy and everything that's going on really quickly, especially with the end times. And we're seeing Matthew 24 unfold right before our eyes and potentially Ezekiel 38 with Russia invading Ukraine. So, woohoo. So, we are right in the thick of it. So, take up our cross. Okay. So, let's see how Noah built the ark. Because now that you know what a righteous individual, what your sacrifices are, let's build the ark and see why you meditate on your bed on the word. Remember John 1:1. And the word became flesh.

Watch this. Let's go back to Genesis now. Genesis 6. We're going to look at how the ark was built. 15 through8. And this is how you shall make it. The length of the ark, the ark shall be 300 cubits, its width 50 cubits, and its height 30 cubits. You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above, and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it with lower second and third decks. And behold, I myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth to destroy from under heaven all flesh, in which is the breath of life. Everything that is on the earth shall die. But I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall go into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your son's wives with you. Okay, here we get to this emotional part because this is absolutely amazing because Noah was told to build his ark and he built it out of gopherwood, pitch, and nails. And God gave him the instruction how to build it, how long it should be. So the instructions for us is to meditate on the word which is the flesh. What did we do? Born into sin. We needed redemption of our sins. We needed Jesus to go to the cross. Watch this. Let's go to Luke. This is this is absolutely incredible. Luke 22:19. And he took bread, gave thanks, and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me." Okay? Again, he hasn't gone to the cross yet, but he's talking about his broken body. Now, this is holy communion he's talking about. And he says to do it in remembrance of him. Why are we remembering and putting him back on the cross? He rose from the cross. He rose from the grave. Why do we have to do that? Because we got to build our ark. We got to meditate on his word. We've got to get righteous. Fill up with the anointing. Let's look at the blood. Look at this. Matthew 26:28. For this is my blood of the new covenant which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Remember, God established a new covenant with Noah. Now, he's establishing a covenant with us by going to the cross. So, for us, we need to remember that covenant. And to remember that, we have holy communion. And then, not only do we have holy communion, we meditate on the word in our quiet time. It's a sacrifice of righteousness. Now, let's watch. Let's watch how this goes because this is going to be absolutely incredible what you're about to read. John 20:27 that he said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here and look at my hands. Reach your hand here and put it into my side. Do not be unbelieving but believing." Why did he Thomas was doubting. He's like, "Unless I see it because I know that he was crucified." What did Jesus do? They crucified him out of wood. Noah had to build his ark out of wood. They nailed his hands and feet to the cross. Noah needed nails to nail every piece together. He put pitch. Noah put pitch on the inside to keep it from leaking and water coming in. Inside, outside. He put pitch everywhere to keep it from the blood of Jesus came out with water out. Noah went into the water. So the blood and the water came out. That was Jesus fulfilling the righteous blessing that we have to be righteous to live in the remission of sins. So when we were born and when we repented

we nailed Jesus to the cross because we have to build our ark. He is our chief cornerstone. We took the wood. We applied him to the wood. We applied the nails. We applied the pitch, the blood, and the water. And guess what? You speak, Jesus. And you ask him to save you from your sins. You ask him to save you from that great earthquake that's coming, from the prophecies of the doom and gloom. But if you meditate on him in the word, the righteous run in, you build your ark by putting Jesus up there. And then what does he do? He comes out of the grave three days later. And he says, "I'm right here." And he showed Thomas, look at the scars. I got to put your finger here, but believe. Now you're talking righteousness. And you are talking believing and you are talking your gift. Now look at this scripture that we sang scriptures to all of our lives. At least when I was growing up, this is what we sang to. Proverbs 18:10. The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run to it and are safe. The righteous run to it and are safe. Oh my friends,

you are saved. So in spite of hearing what is about to happen, earthquakes, rumors of earthquakes, wars, rumors of war, famines, pestilence, we have a family coming. For those that aren't aware, it's coming. With all of these negative things coming, where are your eyes? Look it up on him. If you're dwelling, you're making your sacrifices of righteousness. Look at this. Say it again. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness and put your trust in the Lord because he is a strong tower and you get to run into him. But you run into him now. Noah ran into the ark seven days before the flood. So before the earthquake, before the invasion, before the famines, before all of that takes place, you need to be running into your ark that you built by dwelling with God in the secret place by acknowledging, having holy communion, nailing him to the cross, having the broken bread, having the blood, dwelling on the word, reading the word, reading receiving of his word, trusting and believing in his word and you are saved. You know, and remember if you miss it, it you know how many people died in in all the generations before us that didn't go to the rapture. They're believers. They ended up in heaven. Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. They went to heaven. So the difference is this is we're talking about a rapture here. Just the blessing for those that are living righteous because it's a day that's very weird. It happens on that day. Everything it's going to be a series of events. And when day one starts for the seven-year tribulation that's left for Israel. It's horrific what they're going to go through. You think we're going through tribulation now? This is called a great tribulation. The seven-year tribulation is a different kind of tribulation. It's worse. It's never been seen before. And the first five months, nobody can die. And you're gonna God's going to release uh horses with scorpion tails, some sort of alien being. And they're going to sting people. And the only ones protected at the time will be the 144,000 male Jews who are young virgins that he sealed. That's the only one. So anyone who is left here, this is why you want to catch the boat. You want to build your ark. You want to grab on. You want to be the righteous and you want to run into your ark and be saved. Because when you're running to Jesus, you're acknowledging him and you're giving him the glory. You will be saved. You're saved from that. Amen. Oh, let's close a word of prayer. Father God, we lift up this word and we thank you for it. Thank you for revealing your scriptures. Thank you for encouraging us to dwell in your word, to read your word, to believe and trust in your word so that we can build our heart to acknowledge Jesus on the cross to do what we need to do in remembrance with holy communion and that we can call on your name and know that we he is our strong tower and we can run into him and be safe saved. Thank you, Father God, for saving us. Thank you for protecting us and keeping us as we watch your end times be revealed here. Oh, hallelujah. Stuff that you prophesied thousands of years ago, we get to witness it. Thank you, Father God. In the glorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. God bless each and every one of you and I will see you in the next video. Bye-bye.
