GOD'S GIFT TO THE WORLD: DO YOU BELIEVE?
Minister Lisa Kane
December 22, 2023

Objective:
The objective of this message is to highlight Jesus Christ as the greatest gift ever given to humanity by God. The teaching encourages listeners to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas—the birth of the Savior—and challenges them to personally consider their faith: Do you believe? The purpose is to inspire believers to receive and share the gift of salvation with others through faith in Jesus Christ.
Synopsis:
In this Christmas message, Lisa focuses on the profound truth that Jesus Christ is God’s ultimate gift to the world. Beginning with 1 Peter 4:10–11, the teaching reminds us that as we have received this gift, we are called to be good stewards of it by sharing God’s grace with others. The birth of Jesus, described humbly in Luke 2, demonstrates how the Son of God left the riches of heaven to enter the world in simplicity, becoming the Savior for all.
Lisa emphasizes that the angelic proclamation to the shepherds was not just a story, but a true historical event testifying to Christ’s arrival. Scriptures such as 1 John 5:20, John 1:12–14, and John 3:15–17 confirm that through belief in Jesus, we are given eternal life and the right to become children of God.
The message asks a pressing question: Do you believe? Salvation is not based on rituals or works but on faith, as seen with the thief on the cross. Romans 10:9 makes it clear that confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection brings salvation.
As Christmas is celebrated, Lisa encourages everyone to remember and share this ultimate gift—the name of Jesus. The message closes with a prayer of thanksgiving, urging believers to glorify God for sending His Son and to carry the gift of salvation into the lives of others.

Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this on Friday, December 22nd, 2023. Welcome. This message is called God's Gift to the World. Do you believe? Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your presence and we thank you for the greatest gift that we could ever receive, Father God. And that G gift is your son, the name of Jesus. And I thank you, Jesus, for going to the cross and dying for me and for everyone else so that we our sins are redeemed and pardoned. Thank you, Father God. In the glorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. And amen. Amen. Well, merry Christmas to all. We are This is the last message I'll be teaching before Christmas. I'll do one more before New Year's, but this is called God's Gift to the World. Do you believe? Our opening scripture here is 1 Peter 4:10 and 11. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God. If any man minister, let him do it as if as of the ability which God giveth, that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Jesus Christ is the son of God and he is the gift the only gift that we can ever ever look at and and receive and truly believe and I the question I have for you um just before this Christmas do you believe do you believe let's go look at the testimony of what happened this is going to be just a simple easy message just giving God the glory and thanking his son for what he's done. Amen. Luke 2:7. And she bought forth she brought forth her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the end. Mary and Joseph.
So neat to see how the son of God came.
So humbled. I mean it is so believable for the fact alone that they acknowledge that they put him in swaddling clothes and in a manger. He wasn't born to richness. He came from richness. He came from glory. He came from honor. He descended from heaven to become a man.
And here the scriptures tell us that he was born verses uh 8-16 in that same Luke chapter 2. Let's continue on. And there were in the same country country shepherds abiding in the field keeping watch over their flock by night. Now, I'm not going to go into this entire event that took place, but I want to show you the scriptures so that you know that this is true because the Bible is true. And u as these shepherds are out here, they're just doing their job, but they testify to the son of God being born. Amen.
And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them, and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, "Fear not, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."
Oh, what did God do here? Because God did something for you and I. the greatest ultimate gift that we could ever receive and believe in. Amen. Verse 11, for unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you, ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was the angel, a multitude of heavenly hosts. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly hosts praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass as the angels were gone away from them into heaven." The shepherd said one to another, "Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us." and they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph and the babe lying in a manger. You know, a lot of people would like to get semantic about this, but the re the reality of it is let's just put aside all the little details here. The Lord showed himself through angels to the shepherds so that they can go find this baby wrapped in swaddling clothes. And what did he say was for unto you is born this day in the city of David a savior which is Christ the Lord. Why do we need a savior? Well, we all messed up. We've all fallen short of the glory of God.
The moment we were born, the the moment we were conceived, we automatically fell because we were born in sin. But God God said to his son Jesus,
"Go do this thing for me." Jesus said, "I will do it." And he did. First John 5:20. And we know that the The son of God has come and hath given us an understanding that we may know him that is true and we are in him that is true even in his son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. Do you believe?
Are you sharing your gift with others?
It's the ultimate best gift that you could ever have. You just got to look into your hands and see and say, "Jesus, forgive me. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior." John 1:12-14. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name, which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. And we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth. And the word was made flesh. The word's been there from the beginning. and he came down to his creation in a book and he became alive. And this book is real. These are true events. I do apologize for every teacher and pastor and preacher out there who has called any of this a story because the reality is these are not Sunday school stories. This is not a story. This is true events. Do you believe? Do you believe that Jesus the Christ, the savior, that these shepherds witnessed because of God? Do you believe that he is the son of God for the the walk he did in his life? He walked this earth very simply, healing people, delivering people, saving people. The the thief on the cross never was water baptized. never went door todo, never shared the gospel with anyone, but he knew and he called on Jesus and Jesus accepted him. Do you believe?
John 3:15-17 that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. Do you believe that you have a way out of all this?
You should. His name is Jesus. He saved you and he saved me. Question is, do you believe? And how do I know that? I just have to confess that he's Jesus. Look at this. Romans 10:9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Do you believe? Do you believe in this gift from heaven that God sent us his son so that we are redeemed and pardoned from our sins? Put aside everything else and just remember that gift as you celebrate the holiday weekend. Remember the ultimate gift, the name of Jesus
and share that gift with someone. God bless you. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless this word and uh thank you for the anointing as you move through my heart, my spirit. I pray that people receive your word and call your name and glorify you in the name of Jesus. Amen and amen. God bless you. Merry Christmas. I'll see you in the next message. Bye bye.
