HANNAH'S PRAYER

Minister Lisa Kane

December 9, 2023

In this message, Hannah’s Prayer, Minister Lisa Kane reflects on 1 Samuel 1–2, where Hannah, in deep sorrow over her barrenness, pours out her soul to God. Tormented by her rival and weighed down by grief, Hannah reaches a breaking point and vows to dedicate her son to the Lord if He grants her petition. Her earnest lament contrasts with Lot’s silence in Sodom, showing the necessity of prayer in times of anguish. Despite Eli’s compromised priesthood and initial misjudgment of her as drunk, Hannah remains steadfast and receives confirmation that her prayer is heard. God answers by giving her Samuel, a prophet destined to shift Israel’s history.

The teaching emphasizes that effective prayer requires honesty, persistence, and surrender. Hannah’s example demonstrates how prayer not only brings personal breakthrough but also releases prophetic insight, as seen in her song of praise in 1 Samuel 2, which foreshadows Israel’s future and the coming of kings. Minister Lisa highlights the importance of making God first, avoiding compromise, and using prayer as a weapon over personal struggles, national issues, and spiritual battles. Hannah’s faith teaches believers to lament, release burdens to God, trust His timing, and give Him glory when He answers.

Objective:

To teach believers the power of fervent and honest prayer through the example of Hannah, showing how lamenting before God, making vows with sincerity, and trusting Him completely can bring deliverance, blessing, and prophetic revelation. The message aims to deepen believers’ prayer lives, urging them to move beyond compromise and walk in faith, righteousness, and obedience.

Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I am recording this message on Saturday, December 9th, 2023. Welcome. This message is called Hannah's Prayer. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for the anointing of your presence. We thank you for your word. We thank you for the revelation that you're imparting to us, Father God. And we pray and ask that these words never leave our hearts and never leave our minds, but that we walk in your anointing, that we walk in your applied word of God, and that we go forth according to your will, and that we walk in the proper prayer that you've taught us. In the name of Jesus, the son of God. Thank you. Thank you. And thank you. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Now, before I begin, as you can see, there's a different background here. I will work on improving this. We just moved into our lovely new home. I'm excited to be here. Praise God. We made it. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Okay. So, so over the next several weeks, things will be changing. Right now, I've got Christmas wrapping all over the place and I need to get my shells up. So, lots of work to do. Lots of work. Okay. So, this is called Hannah's Prayer. Now, let me do a reminder here. When you see the bold words, those are the words in scripture. When you see something in parentheses, that's another uh if you go to the Hebrews Strong's dictionary, it's just another or an alternative word to uh put in that spot. It's another meaning to that word. And then if you uh and that word would be in parenthesis, italicized. So this gives us an indepth view of what we're looking at in the scriptures. And I'm always using the King James version of the Bible now. So if you want to follow us, you can. So our opening scripture here is 1st Samuel 111. And she vowed a vow. And I'll get back to the uh parentheses words here in just a moment. and she vowed a vow and said, "Oh Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmmaid, but will give unto thine handmmaid a manchild." Then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head." Okay, so Hannah, now, as you know, I've been teaching on prayer now for several weeks. I did not put a video up last week because of the move, but uh as you know, we've been teaching on um prayer. We've been dealing with deliverance. These are the things that we have been striving to get out or I've been trying to teach it to you how to change up your prayer life. how to spend more time with God in the secret place and to get the word of God out of your mouth into the world to apply it to our governments to our presidents our prime ministers and every aspect of the world because our prayers are effective. So I've been teaching on this. So what I want to do in this particular message is I want to show it in action and Hannah is such a great example. So, to give you an idea of who Hannah is, she is the mother of Samuel. And obviously, she is really, really, I mean, for her to have to make a vow, and we're going to get into this a little bit more, a promise. When you make a promise to God, you need to keep it. And she made a heavy promise that her, if she was given a son, she's going to give it to the service of God all his days. So, um, let's dive into this because I really want you to see how this prayer works. And just to give you a little background. So, she's Samuel's mother. Uh, she is the wife of Elena and her sister wife has several kids. She has none. So, she's in this position where she has no children, but Elena loves her. And every year, they go out to worship the Lord in the um Jerusalem. And every time they go, he gives her more a bigger portion for her because he loves her very much. But she is under torment. I want you to see the how much torment she is under. So this is 1st Samuel 16 and 7. And her adversary also provoked her sore for to make her fret because the Lord has shut up her womb. Look at this. Her adversary and by the way it's a female rival. So this is the other wife. So this is her adversary. And it's a tightness that is upon her. It's provoking. And look at the provocion that's taking place here. To trouble, to grieve, to rage. She's feeling these things. This is what Hannah is feeling on the inside. She is in trouble. She feels trouble. She's grieving. She's at a point of rage and indignant. And she's just she's vexed. If you recall Lot being vexed to the point, you know, Lot when he was living in Sodom and the angels came to take him out, Peter talks about him later on saying that he was so vexed because all the people around him were living in sin, blatant, bold sin. Here he was the only righteous man left in the city. And so the angels came and took him out because God's going to destroy the city. But Lot was so vexed. But did Lot pray? There's no prayer recorded in the Bible for Lot. But Hannah prays. Look at how vexed she is. She's She's fredding. She's tumbling violently agitated because the Lord has shut up her room. She knew this is from God. And she was finally to a point like, "Okay, Lord, I can't handle this anymore." How many of you are getting in your prayer to the point where you're saying, "I can't handle this anymore, Lord." You should be doing this. Lot never got to that point. So, I want you to see that if you're dealing with something, even a bunch of little things, because that's how the devil works. If he can nitpick you on a little a whole bunch of a little things, it adds up and it applies a pressure down on you that hurts you and it makes you really really very difficult to maintain self-control. Well, this is what the point where Hannah is. Imagine if you're suffering, you're in pain, you're so sore, uh you're dealing with this some sort of disease, you've prayed, you've been so you've gone to the Lord, you've taken holy communion, you had the elders pray over you, but nothing is happening. There should be coming a point where you and God should be having a conversation, which is our opening prayer that we just saw Hannah say, and we're going to get back to that prayer here in just a minute. You should be getting to that point. And the pe the reason for it is because God is trying to get your attention for you to come to him directly. So let's continue on to verse seven. So she's under this condition. Look at how long. And as he did so year by year when she went up to the house of the Lord, so she provoked her. Therefore she wept and did not eat. It even caused her not to eat. But every year after year they go to Jerusalem. They do all their services and her adversary was provoking her. Now, there's two points to this adversary I want you to see. One, this woman, this other woman is obviously doing something, saying things. It's implied in the scripture. So, please understand that it's it's it's to the point where Hannah is seeing her as an an effective enemy. It's little things Oh, I got my children here. Where's yours? You know, she's doing stuff like this and it is aggravating Hannah big time. Okay. So, but there's also a second point to this. Hannah is allowing it to happen to her because she has a desire to have as many children as well. Now, it comes down to, okay, what does Hannah do? She wants this so bad that she's losing her self-control to the other woman. And this is very it how bad do you want something? This is where the devil can come in and do something. You know, I've heard stories of like people who are popular. They sold their soul to the devil because the devil approached them saying, "Do you really want to be popular? Do you really want to be on top of the world? I can give you every kingdom." See, this is how the devil tempts him. And then you know they say yes yes ah but Hannah does something different. What does she do in she in verse 9 she so Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the Lord. Let's talk about Eli for a moment because he plays a huge role in this. Eli is the priest. Now, Eli is living in compromise. His sons are doing evil before the Lord and he's not correcting them. He's not redirecting them. He's not intervening on them. He's allowing them to do it. He says things probably, but they're he's not pushing it. He's not doing anything about it. He is a compromised anointed high priest. Okay. Now, how many pastors do we know that live in a compromised position? They don't hear God. They're not following certain things that the Lord is leading and guiding and directing, but you're a member of that audience. You go every Sunday or every Wednesday or both. But it's the same. It you're not sensing the Holy Spirit. It's not coming out of that pastor's mouth. It's not coming out of the pulpit. You're not seeing the spirit of God move where you're seeing healings and deliverance take away. You're not seeing any of this. Well, what is it that you should be doing? Well, just like Hannah, she's not getting pregnant. Same thing. If you're not seeing the spirit of God move in your church or in your life, a change needs to take place because you're in some sort of a compromised position. I really want you to grasp that. So, here's Eli. He's in this position. Now, look at her. She and she was in bitterness of soul and prayed unto the Lord and wept sore. And here's her prayer. And she vowed, she made a promise, a vow, and said, "Oh Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed appear on the depression and misery of me, thy handmade, and mark, mention me. Don't forget my my who I am. Don't forget your handmmaid, but will give unto dynamic a man's seed, a child. Then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. So she makes a promise. Now, you have to keep in mind what this promise entails. She's not going to raise that child. She's letting the Lord have him. But what's the greatest thing she wants? Her desire is to have children.

Partly to get back at her adversary, but partly because she has a heart and wants children. I'm sure she sees the other children running around. They may even run up to her and she gives them little things or whatever. And there is there's a motherhood that's deep within women that we want to see children. We want to have children. Yes. Once we have our children, the tides turn. But up until that moment, it it's like, "Oh, I just want to hold my baby." Well, she has this desire, but she's willing to give up that desire and makes a vow to do that.

Let's see what the Lord says. And so, okay, before I jump into the scripture, so while she's doing this, she is bitterness, weeping. Eli is sitting on a chair over there by the pose. He sees her and he he can't hear her. He he doesn't hear her words, but he sees her mouth moving. There's no sound coming out of her lips. And so he says to her, "Woman, you're drunk. Go home." This is her response to Eli. And remember, Eli's in this compromised position. If he wasn't, he would have known by the spirit of the Lord what was going on in her heart. He would have seen it. When you are in right standing with God, you will be able to discern and see people who are suffering around you and intervene. Please understand, you're the priest and the priestess of the household and those around you in your workplace, in your home. These are your people that you pray and are responsible. And if you're doing what you are to do, that's your obedient to the Lord, your obedience to the Lord, then you will be able to see these things. You won't be in a compromised position because if you're still asking, "What's the will of God for me? What direction I need to go?" You're not spending time with God because you would know his will for you. It's clear in scripture. This means you're not spending time with God and you're with God and you're ask you're asking humans out in the world to tell you what God wants you to do when God has already told you in his word. But if you weren't compromised, you weren't too busy with the world, you weren't too busy with this stuff, you put God first. Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. If you do that, Matthew 6:33, that's what you dwell and walk in. Then you are not compromised. You will know. I This is why I want to bring this prayer and show you the power of prayer. If you're spending time praying with the Lord over your life, over medical conditions, over your loved ones, over your friends, and over your family, and over the businesses, over the economy. I started praying for the economy. I cannot believe how low our gas prices are. We got gas today. $244 a gallon. For those of you watching in California, you might want to get out. I can't believe the cost of living there. It's incredible. However, just to say, this is what we need to be praying for. And you start to see the power of God move in the restoration. And you see, the Lord is showing this to me so I can teach it and impart it to you because I this is not a onewoman, one man show. God. And I I am absolutely 100% confident that God has others praying too. The question is, do you want to do this? Or are you still seeking kingdoms from the world, lofty livelihood where you're eating caviar or and they're serving grapes to you as you're laying lounging on your couch. No. Okay. You see, this is you've got to shift your look from that and get God in your life as a priority. So Hannah now answers Eli because he's accusing her of being drunk. And Hannah answered and said, "No, my Lord." And we're down to verse 15 now in chapter 1. "No, my Lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit, severe, heavy spirit. I've drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord. Remember I taught on lamenting a few messages ago. That's pouring your soul out. When you get to the point where you are just so tired of it, you go to God and you say, "God, I can't take this anymore." [Music] That's what Hannah was doing and she's describing it to Eli. And she says in verse 16, "Count not thine handmade for a daughter bile. For out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto." So in other words, she spoke to God and she's giving it to God out of the bitterness of her soul because she is hurting. Look what happens here. Eli then Eli answered said, "Go in peace and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him." Little does Eli know, you see, he would know if he wasn't in compromise, but he didn't know that he was just blessing her with a son that's going to replace him. And his children will not continue on as priests. His his family line ends at this point. And he has no idea what he's doing. How many of you are dealing with cancer? If you're dealing with cancer and you're a believer with God, it's because you have unforgiveness or a compromised spirit within you and you don't even know that the things you're doing is causing you an early death. Maybe this is where we have to come into the presence of God in the secret place, humble ourselves and say, "Lord, I need to be right with you." and put him first. And see Hannah knew and look it, she she responds and she said, "Let thine handmade find grace in thy sight." So the woman So the woman went her way and did eat and her countenance was no more sad because see now she knew. She gave it to God. She let it go. When you're suffering, you're hurting. One, you should always go to God first. And I know that is hard for us to do. But once you do it, you especially if you go up to the elders and get prayed over at your church, they will tell you, "Go in peace. God has answered your prayer." You know, I got prayed over that diabetes thing. And I knew that Elder had said the right words I needed to say. There was things I still needed to do, but I was able to walk away and have be completely delivered of all that junk and healed. And I am. I'm walking in my healing still to this day. Hallelujah. So Hannah knew at this point she went and ate. She wasn't g. She gave it to the Lord. She's done. This is awesome. I want you to see. So wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son and called his name Samuel saying because I have asked him of the Lord. So Samuel's name means I have asked him of the Lord. So this is what so she she was given her petition and this is awesome because this is now where her prayer prophesies over the nation of Israel and we're going to do a little bit of this not a whole lot because I am limited on time. Okay, now we're in chapter 2 of Samuel 1 Samuel and we're going to read verses 1-5. And Hannah prayed. So now she's praying again and said my heart rejoicth in the Lord. Mine horn is exalted in the Lord. My mouth is enlarged over my enemies because I rejoice in thy salvation. See, she understands salvation is of the Lord. She understood that he is a God who answers prayer and she did this. It take from her example. Go pray, pour your soul out, lament your soul, give it to the Lord, walk away, watch your petition be granted, and now come back and thank him. Don't just be the nine lepers that went away and only the one that came back to thank Jesus for his healing. No, you come back and you praise him and thank him. Look at verse two. There is none holy as the Lord, for there is none beside thee, neither is there any rock like our God. Oh, hallelujah. She's giving God the glory. She's giving glory where glory is due. Talk no more so exceeding proudly. Who is she talking to? She is now prophesying over the nation of Israel. Let not arrogancy come out of your mouth, for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. She is for telling the kings and all the evil and the good kings how to behave.

Because see, Samuel is going to establish a king over Israel because Israel decided they didn't want God leaving them. They wanted a king. And so Samuel is being born for the purpose of being the last judge, prophet, seer over the nation of Israel. So there's a transformation that's going to take take place. And because Hannah is with the Lord, she understands this and knows exactly what to say. And the anointing of the Holy Spirit is coming out of her and prophesy. If you were spending time with the Lord in mercy and forgiveness, you would know exactly what to pray for, how to pray, when to pray, these are the things that the Holy Spirit will show you and guide you and direct you. Amen. Uh verse four, the bows of the mighty men are broken, crushed, frayed, and they that stumble waver. They're girded with a belt with strength. And look at this word. Strength means a force by men or other resources. See, the bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumble waver, and their belt is with straight. See, we're going to stumble in our walk. Good kings, bad kings, there's choices ahead of us. And sometimes when we're in a compromised position, we are in unforgiveness before the Lord. We stumble. But she is saying with you're going to have strength and God is going to provide it either by men or other resources. So she's prophesying this. They that were full have hired out themselves purchased for bread. And they that were hungry ceased. They were lacking, flabby. They were idle. So that the barren hath borne seven, and she that hath many children is waxed feeble. How Do I know this is a prophecy for the nation of Israel? H let's go look at the same words spoken by Jeremiah in Jeremiah 15. We've got verse one and nine. I want you to see this is how I know uh uh that this is that Hannah's prayer is a prophecy. says verse one in chapter 15. Then said the Lord unto me, though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people. Cast them out of my sight and let them go. Watch this. For good kings and evil kings, they either had God on their side or God against them. And remember in Jeremiah's time, they were being taken into captivity because God was done with them. He was finished. And they were going into captivity for 70 years. And then you come into Daniel's prophecy. That's this timeline. Well, Hannah's prophesying over that timeline. And God is saying, "If Samuel, a righteous man, Moses, a righteous man, we're here intervening for these people, I'm not going to listen to them." You see, you can get to a point where I mean, you you can frustrate God so much that he's going to actually have to do put you into captivity. However, I want to point out something here also. We are in a time of grace. Jesus says you forgive 70* 7, which was an infinity application. So if that person keeps sinning the same way over and over and over again every day, Jesus says, "Well, as long as he forgiveness, I'm going to keep forgiving him over the same sin every day. Every day. Every day." Because that is what salvation is. Salvation is of the Lord. I just to share a little bit of an understanding of what salvation is because I want you to grasp this. Imagine a parent giving their 2-year-old toddler a $20,000 diamond ring. What do you think is going to happen? Possibly that kid's going to choke on it or they're going to lose it. What kind of parent would do that to that toddler? Anyone who values any amount of money won't do that. God values salvation so much. He doesn't give it to us to play with to lose it. He gives it to us to put our crown upon the head and it's snapped here to protect us from the enemy. This is something that's from him. He chooses to save us. We can't lose something he's in charge of. You have to grasp this. So when you're spending time with the Lord, you're not in a compromise. You are giving God the glory in this time period. You will be forgiven again and again and again. Now remember, we're looking at scripture that applied with the law. The law didn't provide this. And you messed up. If you didn't keep the law, you messed up. You were in a you were in a lot of trouble. But God, he could see the hearts and he knew the hearts of men and he allowed them to meet the law whatever part way and put them into paradise those that walked with God in those days because David Hannah understood the salvation came from him. These are men of God. Samuel such a man of God. He walked with God. My guess is he fulfilled that law to perfection. or close to it because Jesus is the only one who could fill it and meet it with those needs because even Samuel was born into sin. Everyone needs mercy. The difference is we get forgiveness over and over again now in today's dispensation than we did back then. So here's Jeremiah. So that was verse one in chapter 15. Now look verse nine. Remember what Hannah just said, seven born. Look at this. She that hath borne seven languisheth. She hath given up the ghost. Her son is gone down while it was yet day. She hath been ashamed and confounded, and the residue of them I will deliver to the sword before their enemies, sayaeth the Lord. That word ashamed is to turn white like a ghost and blush. It's like the blood running to your face. A confounded is another form of ashamed and blushing. So this is what Israel should have been. But see, when you're in sin, you get to a point where you don't even blush anymore. It it doesn't affect you at all. You have no it it means nothing to you. You have no shame when you ought to be ashamed for what you've done. Thank God for mercy and grace. We get to forgive those that doing evil all the time. I just taught on this. This is part of prayer. Forgive those that do evil and pray that the spirit of God moves in their hearts and minds. And once he does, you you have the right to point out the evil to God and say, "That guy's doing evil. Bind him. Bind him so he doesn't propagate or be fruitful with his evilness." Amen. You have the right to do that. And God uses you as a tool to do that. That was taught two weeks ago. You, if you've been following, you're seeing all this connect now. You're seeing it in Hannah's prayer. Let's continue in Hannah's prayer. And let's go back to 1st Samuel 2, starting at verse 6. The Lord killleth and maketh alive. He bringeth down to the grave and bringeth up. So she's giving glory to God. The Lord maketh poor and maketh rich. He bringeth low and lifteth up. He raises up the poor out of the dust and lifteth up the beggar from the dungill to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are the Lords, and he hath set the world upon him. Do you think she's talking about Daniel there? Look at this. uh to set them among princes, the beggars. See, Daniel and his three friends were all taken into captivity. When Babylon came and took them from Jeremiah's time, they were taken. But Daniel ends up being a right hand to Nebuchadnezzar, the king. You see, Hannah is prophesying all of these things. Look what else she says. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness. For by strength shall no man prevail. Now, let's look at it with the extra words. He will hedge about the steps of his saints, which are the godly kind. I love that translation. And the morally wrong shall be dumb in misery, destruction, and death. How many people are out there rich as can be, but they're so miserable they can't even live life and be at peace and comfort? They they are they're lonely. They're scared. They're afraid people are going to come in and kill them and steal their money. They have to live behind security and all. But if you're walking in righteousness, look at this. He will keep a hedge about the feet, the steps of his godly kind saints. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And by the strength which is the firm vigor force shall no man prevail or be strong or great. No man is going to take over God's strength. Hallelujah. Or you know no enemy. You're out there. If you're walking in rightness and your godliness and righteousness, you are you've got God's covering on you. Nothing can come against you. Hallelujah. This means also you're not walking in compromise. You're putting God first. You're you're actually going to him. I go to him every day. Say, "Lord, forgive me of my sins." I always pray this. And it's just something just to humble my heart and mind to remind me because God has already forgiven me. But it's to remind me who I put first, which is his mercy and his grace. Oh, hallelujah. And I hope that each of you grasp this and do it. Amen. Verse 10. The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces or prostrate. Out of heaven shall be shall he thunder upon them. The Lord shall judge the ends of the earth, and he shall give strength unto his king and exalt the horn of his anointed. Did she prophesy over kings? She had no idea that her son, a newborn that she's praising God for, is going to anoint a king. She had no idea that Israel was going to have a king over it, but she's prophesying. Now, I hope you guys are catching this because this is so powerful because she is walking in right standing with God and she's prophesying. If you are in that secret place with the Lord and you're praying over the economy, the Lord will give you the right words to prophesy. You know, when I pray over the economy, yes, I'm praying for restoration and balance. I'm also realizing that Babylon will fall, which is part of the economy. It's all going to fall in the seven-year time period of God's wrath. If that's going to happen, okay, Lord, but for now and until then, I'm pray. See, I'm praying to the prophecy of the scripture that I know and understand. I am applying the scriptures to prayer. This is something we need to do. Hannah did it through the Holy Spirit because there wasn't a written Bible back then. But she knew her God and she knew the voice of the Lord and she spoke those words. Amen. Amen. Now she's going to come and give Eli the child. And about three years goes by because she wants to wean the child. So she doesn't go back to uh worship the Lord there in Jerusalem during that time. She doesn't go back. She stays home for the next three years. Was she lying to God? No. She ends up going and look what happens. Verse 20. And Eli blessed, look at that bless. The word bless her means kneel or adore. Elena and his wife and said, "The Lord give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the Lord." And they went unto their own home. And the Lord visited Hannah so that she conceived and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the Lord. I want you to see something. Even though Eli was in a very compromised position, his blessing still went forth because he blessed him that they would have more children. And she did. And she not only had she had three sons, two daughters, and then of course um I'm assuming Samuel's the extra child. I'm assuming she's had six kids all together. Imagine now having the desire of her heart because in those three years while she's weaning Samuel, she's falling more in love with him. But she made a vow and she kept her vow. So when you're lamenting before the Lord and you're crying out to him saying, "Lord, Lord, I need you. I can't handle this anymore." You come before him in right standing. You say, "Lord, forgive me because I'm messed up. I'm a sinner, but you come before me, Lord. And I ask that you heal me and you be my Lord and Savior. You save me. You keep me from the sicknesses. You keep me. And I praise you because I know that you are the God who provides. You are the God who heals." You see, these are the things that you should be speaking and saying and walking in because that's walking in righteousness. That is walking in godliness. and you will be blessed for doing that in the name of Jesus the son of the living God. The question is do you believe and do you want to put God first in your life or do you want to be like law who never prayed at least it wasn't recorded in the scripture that I'm aware of? He didn't pray and that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. You can end evil right now by praying forgiveness. you know, I prayed for Hamas and I didn't want to. Um, our church had a prayer night after the the attack of Israel and I was there and they wanted to pray for the terrorists and I was like, "Wow, okay." Um, it bothered me. I had seen, you know, heard the atrocities that they did and I had believed them and I was mad. Israel, I love Israel. I support Israel with all my heart. So, I was mad. But I gave it to the Lord. I said, "I'm going to pray anyways because your word says to do that and to forgive. I'm going to forgive them, Lord. I don't want to. I made sure that was noted in there. I didn't need to, but I did, but I did it." And now there's a story, a testimony that came out. 200 men had a dream of the same man, and they went to the local missionaries there, and they said, "Well, that's Jesus." And they accepted and became believers. You want to talk about the power of God moving through prayer? prayer works and I can't say enough about it. Oh, let's give God the glory and the praise. We're going to close here in the name of Jesus. Father God, I thank you for your word and I thank you that your word makes an imprint on our hearts and minds that we are so impressed with your word that we live it and walk it and give you the glory, the honor, the praise and strength because it is your spirit that goes for it. Not might, not power, but your spirit that goes forth, Father God. And I pray and ask that we're praying and asking that the spirit of God moves through forgiveness, through mercy, through grace, through the hearts and the minds of the people listening here and not listening, but out in the world. Father God, we glorify you and honor you for you are the great I am. In the name of Jesus, amen. Amen. Amen. God bless you. I will see you in the next message. Bye-bye.
