Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this teaching on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. Thank you for teaching us how to know if someone's lying to us and how to stand firm on your word to know the word is truth and that that truth will set us free. make us free in you, Father God, and help us to stand strong on your word in the foundation, the firm foundation of the name of Jesus, and that the truth of your word just manifests out of us, Lord. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Welcome. I am so glad you can join us today. I am teaching this on a Sunday. Normally, I don't teach on Sundays, but I'm teaching I'm homeschooling my grandson now. So, we're going to probably do more weekend teachings. Now, keep in mind, House of Faith Ministries is an online ministry. We're not a church. We do not accept tithes. Uh we do not have Bibles to give out or any of that, at least not today at this time. Uh but we do want to minister. And so, we have this online ministry. It's really there as a supplemental from your attendance at church or it's just something if you two o'clock in the morning, you need something, you can go find a lot of content on our website and check it out. Now, I'm going to be teaching today on how to know if someone is lying. So, let's go to our opening scripture here. 1 John 2:21. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Now, John the beloved is the one who wrote the epistles, first, second, and third John. And he's telling us straight up here that he's not writing to us because we don't know the truth. But we know it. Why do we know the truth already? Because the word of God became flesh. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. First John, excuse me, John the Gospel chapter 1:es 1 and two. You can go read that. I didn't I I have very little scriptures today, but you can go read that as I quote them if you need to. But basically, we know that the word of God is the man Jesus who is the son of God and who died for us. That's what we know. And because we know that he is who he is and he's the word, we know that the Bible is truth from cover to cover. So now, how do we know when someone is lying to us? Because we can tell. Now, a lot of there's some people out there who have gifts and they're very intuitive and they can kind of tell and catch on to what's happening. However, we can know when we don't have that intuition or whether that intuition is right or wrong. We can know through the scriptures. So, I want to show you that and I want to show you how you can apply it not just to I mean you can apply it to anything. You can apply it to relationships with your neighbors. You can apply it to like the upcoming election that we have a a new president's about to be voted in November 5th. So, you know, you can apply, you know, are the candidates telling you the truth? Are your, you know, your boss telling you the truth? You can tell. And then, of course, how do you respond? So I want to show you that. So let's go to verses 22 and 23. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? Look at the word deny there means contradict, disavow, reject. I'm g pause here for a minute to catch that. Who is a liar but he that denyth that Jesus is the Christ? You see Jesus, the word of God is the son of God. And guess what? If people come out and say, "Oh, you know, he was a nice guy. He did he did some good. He was a good prophet." They're not acknowledging that he's the son of God. So, watch that slippery slope there. Yes, he is a good guy. Yes, he's a good prophet. However, he is the son of God. And anyone who denies that he is the Christ. The word Christ means Messiah. It means salvation. And if you deny that he's the savior and that he came from heaven, you are in essence not telling the truth. You're lying. You're a liar. And in fact, it says he is Antichrist, which is the opponent of the Messiah that denyth the father and the son. So when you say he's a good prophet, you are antichrist. Sounds like a harsh word, but that is the truth of the matter. That's the situation you have to watch out for these little little slips that people slip in and and sneak in, you know. Um, let's apply this to the upcoming election. Um, the VP was at one of the rallies and two guys yelled out, "Jesus is Christ. Christ is king." And she comment says, "You're at the wrong rally." She is denying that Jesus is the Christ. She is an opponent or an antichrist of the Messiah as you can see that. So, she's going to deny Jesus and she's going to deny the father. So, we already know now one of uh one of the um candidates in our upcoming election is not for God. We automatically know that just from that one action. There's more and we're going to get to that. that I I think is very important that I use this as a great example for a good teaching time right now because we need to know how do you know who to vote for? How do you know if you can support a company? If you're working for that company, yeah, you're getting paid and you got a job. Great. That's absolutely wonderful. However, what if that company is all about abortion or about See, you have to know these things because God is looking at your heart and wondering, are you walking in truth or are you denying him? And if you're denying him or if you claim you are a Christian and you claim that Jesus is the son of God, but then you go and support something as evil as abortion. We're going to get to that in just a moment. I'm just going to use that as an example. you've got a serious problem on your hand because Jesus is all about life, not death. Which means you don't believe in the miracle and the power behind the name of Jesus, the son of the living God. Once you get to know that power though, I'm going tell you things change drastically. Let's continue on. I want you to see this verse 23. Whosoever denyth the son, the same not the father. He that acknowledgeth the son hath the father also. Okay, this is also very important that we understand. We need to understand God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit. They are the trinity. Now the word trinity is not in the bible but the bible does talk about the three of them working together. We know that the father is the one that established everything and his son is the power in which used to establish everything. So Jesus, which was the word in the beginning, who has died on the cross for all the sin of the world, he rose from the grave, he became the son of God as Jesus said in uh John 3:16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. I think John said that, not Jesus. But either way, I'm you're seeing here that the father led the son and asked the son to do this. The son did this and then he rose from the grave leaving us the holy spirit. So now it's hard to tell the difference between Jesus the son and God the father. Why? Because Jesus the son is doing everything his father has asked him to do. So this is where you and I come in because Jesus on his way up to heaven when he was stopped and talked to Mary Magdalene, he's got all these souls. He's just he died on the cross. He's raising from the grave and he stops to talk to Mary Magdalene to say, "Hey, I go to my father, your father, my God, your God." He elevates humankind to be equal with him at that very moment. And when I say humankind, we all have that equality if we become believers in Christ. If you believe in you do not deny that Jesus is the son of God, you're a believer. You believe in the power of ascending. You you believe in the power of being rose from the grave. Meaning the grave doesn't hold us in death. We're alive with him after this. Just like he's alive. And see anyone who denies that, they're antirist. They are against the Messiah. They are against everything. Let's continue on because I like see I I want to see more of what John is talking about. Verse 26. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce or deceive you. See, it sounds so pleasant and it can be or it can be very deceiving, very manipulative. I there's a commercial going on right now here in the state of Missouri and it's a very interesting commercial. It's about abortion. The the young lady in the commercial says, "I was forced to carry my unborn child fullterm knowing that my child had an anomaly and I could not use my baby furniture." That's what she says in the commercial. Now, inside of me, because remember, we're talking about how do you know someone's lying to you? Inside of me, all kinds of red flags went off. warning bells went off. Come on. Sitting there going, "Wait a minute." First of all, you were forced to carry the baby full term. So, this means you knew either at the later part of the first trimester or right in the middle of the second trimester, you knew that your child had an anomaly, was going to die. You still went and bought baby furniture. Oh, but what's more important? the finances that you put to the baby furniture that you can no longer use or not being able to hold your newborn baby. See, they're trying to be manipulative and manipulate your emotions behind it. But you know what? And I also saw a testimony of a very powerful young woman of God and she came out and testified. They told me that my child had this, this, this, and this. And they asked if I wanted an abortion. And she was so outraged. She says, "How dare you rob me of the joy of even the few minutes I would have with my child." Now, her child was born uh and he did die, but she had a little over 30 minutes to hold on to her child, and she cherishes those moments. Another woman testified that they told her that her child would have all these anomalies, and she said, "No, I refuse that." her child was born fine and here that child could have been killed. Has she believed what the doctor said? So be very very careful what you're listening to, which is what this teaching is about. How do you know? They'll tell you, you know, well, a woman has a right over her body. Well, let's pause and let's talk about those rights for a moment. Yes, a woman has a right to not get into bed with a scumbag. That is true. You do not have to get into bed with those idiots who will not be the father that is supposed to be there with that child. And if you're not going to be a mother that you don't want to be, then practice abstinence. It's the perfect birth control. Right? So, this is the thing that we have to be very careful about. They're trying to manipulate us into thinking that, oh, it's okay to abort a child. Listen, in the Old Testament, the Israelites even fell for it. They were deceived. They gave their kids through them after they were born and alive into fire, which would worship the uh demon called Baal. I don't even want to call it a god. There are no other gods. There's only one god. So that's what they did back then is they sacrifice her because every time you go in to have an abortion they have to kill the baby in your womb to remove the baby. Jesus rose from the grave. He is alive and he has conquered death. Which means we know that that is a lie. Abortion is a lie. And I'll tell you this much. I'm going to promise you here and now. No child would have any issue if you believe that Jesus is the son of God and you say, "Lord, I'm giving this child to you and that he covers that child and that child will be born and do everything just fine. Look it. I'm having to homeschool my youngest grandson. He has self-control issues. So, he's very disruptive to a classroom. But you know what? I make the sacrifices I need to give him to the Lord. pray with him, help him uh learn that self-control that he needs. And I don't need any drugs for that or anything. I choose God, which is the word of God. So, these are examples and testimonies that I'm trying to show what can be done when they're lying to you. Let's continue on. Uh they because they they're lying to deceive you. They want you to give them they want your permission to allow them to keep sinning. So that when they face God in judgment, they're going to say stuff like, "Well, they supported me, so we must be right and you're wrong." And that's not going to happen. It's not going to come by me. I promise you that when I'm up there or if it and we're one of the witnesses that are around this judgment for those that are sinning and they're going to go to hell, when they call out, "I was never told or or I I didn't know better." I I get to stand there. If they heard my teaching, I will be able to stand there says, "I taught them the truth. I taught them your word and they denied you anyways." Cuz that's judgment day. That's what's going to happen on judgment day. Let's continue on to verse 27. But the anointing which you have received of him abidth to stay continue dwell in you. And ye need not that any man teach you. Okay, I'm going pause here again. the anointing that you have received the Holy Spirit, the comforter that we have. We have this anointing and it has to stay and dwell within us. How do you keep the anointing inside of you afflimed? How do you keep it passionate? By dwelling in it, you need to get into the scriptures. You need to read it. I have been preaching. I was looking the other day to see how long it's been from 2021. God's dwelling place. That's where I started teaching. And I'm telling you that teaching is still very applicable. It's a very base firm foundation that we can have by coming into the presence of the Holy Spirit and staying there, learning the scriptures, letting that uh change. See, what you put in is what's going to come out. Garbage in, garbage out. pastor I grew up with, he would always say that garbage in, garbage out. So if you put the Holy Spirit in, the Holy Spirit's going to come out of you. This is very important that we are dwelling in what does this say? And ye need not that any man teach you. You don't even have to listen to this teaching. I'm going to tell you right now, I don't have to teach you. I teach you because I'm called to do it. And that is part of my calling with Christ. God can still work in you without you hearing me or without you hearing any pe preachers or teachers anywhere around the world. You can go into the bathroom. You can have a dream at night and the Holy Spirit will be talking in your mind and you will hear and you're going to think of these things. That's how I got out of taking all of the diabetes medicines and all that kind of stuff that I was taking. I could. The Holy Spirit was reminding me of past doctor's conversations, things that were warning bells that I didn't catch then, but I caught now. And that's when I realized, you know what? God is my doctor. I don't need them to tell me what number my body needs to be at. I stopped taking all that because by the time I got to that number, they changed it up so that I stayed in that. And anyways, they were lying. And I finally came to the realization they lied to me about my health cuz they don't even know. They mean well. And by the way, um some of these deceptions that come in, they mean well. The thing is is they just don't know or understand the power of Christ in the in those that believe because they don't believe. So they're considered antichrist. Subtle, but it is there. But as the same anointing teacheth you of all things and is truth and is no lie. And even as they hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. You see, by abiding in him, you're going to know the truth because the truth is the word of God, and the truth will make you free. I didn't bring that scripture in here, but you can go take a look at it. It's in the Gospel of John. He's been talking about Jesus setting us free through truth and knowledge throughout his writings. This is where we stand today. How do you measure? So now, and I I want you to pause and I want you to think about something here. Yes, we have two uh candidates are coming up to become president. You have Camala and you have Trump. And you have to look at both of them through nonbiased eyes. And that right there is the biggest challenge for this election. You have people that are looking at Trump who hate him. They do not like the roughness about him. He's not elegant. He's not tactful. He's not delicate. He's just rough and he is raw. And people just don't like that. But there are people coming to the realization he might be rough around the edges, but he knows how to run a business. And they're coming around and they're seeing. Now, one of the things that Trump is for is he's he's for Israel. He supports Israel. He's also very u giving. He gives everything. All of the four years he was president before, he gave all of his salary as gifts to donations. He donated it all. He doesn't need the money. He's got his own money. So, his salary went. But see, people don't know this. You've got to look at the actions. Try to try to avoid the words that people say. And this is applicable everywhere and around you and through your neighbors, through your your church, your preachers, uh through your your family members even when you are hearing them speak, are they acting on what they're saying? So, first you got to know, are they saying that Jesus is Lord? Are they saying G? Right now, you've got a huge movement that's trying to push through Christianity as the body of Christ, trying to tell you, you don't have to go vote. God's got everything under control. You want to know what I say? Because I disagree with that. I say, why then does God ask us to pray? If God knows everything, and he does, and he wants to do things, but he wants to partner up with you. So, he asks you, I want you to pray. I want you to be able to do this. I want you to be able to go out into the world and I want you to make changes. Faith without works is dead. Which means you got to go out and vote. Partly because he wants you to act on what you believe. Do you believe in life? Trump is for life. He doesn't want abortion at the national level. Let the states deal with it on their own. Which means he's saying, "Let the states handle it." I mean, it's just the reality of it. And that commercial I talked about earlier where she's in the state of Missouri. The state of Missouri does not have abortion. It is not legal here. So, she has to leave the state if she wants to go get an abortion. And she was like, I was forced to raise this child to full term and I couldn't even use my baby furniture. You have other options. Okay? It's not like you couldn't get an abortion. There are many states that will. and it a plane ticket is a couple hundred dollars. Just go do it if that's what you want to do. But remember the consequence of what you're doing. That is against what God stands for, what Jesus stands for. So as a believer in Christ, if you are calling on the name of Jesus and he is the son of God and you're saying he is the son of God, you should not be even seeing that side and you should not even be in support of that site. You should not even be supporting it. So, when you look at the candidates or you look at the amendments um that they're trying to uh propositions that they're trying to pass, when you're looking at your boss, when you're looking at what your company stands for, uh whether it's woke, whether it's the green earth agenda, all of these things are lies. Green earth agenda is a really good one to look at. Jesus says, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word will not." Well, then if heaven and earth is going to die anyways, why do we try to save it? We continue to have to go before the Lord God Almighty and be dwelling in the secret place so we can know the truth. And that truth comes out and we know the difference. Verse 28. And now little children abide, stay, continue, dwell in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence, all outspokeness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. He's coming back. And you're seeing a very distinct difference in the world from 20 years ago to today. It is definitely different because God has made a he's he's drawn a line in the sand. Which side are you on? Are you for life or are you for death? I just taught a teaching on vote life not death just as part of this. This is the one now where you can tell who's lying to you. And we can tell I mean look at what Camala has done. And I'm not being biased. I'm being I'm trying to express the truth by the actions by the fruit. Jesus said we will know them by our fruit. By their fruit. Well, what is her fruit? She can't even think of a thing she would do different than what the last three and a half years. Anyone in California or New York, you ought to be very upset. When gasoline reached almost $6 a gallon, you should be voting the opposite side, not Camala, because they've been lying to you and they're taking your money right in front of you. You're looking at them and you're letting them do it. Grocery bills. Our grocery bills is crazy. We should be voting differently because we can know. We should be speaking out. We should not be ashamed of his coming because he is the son of God and he is returning. And I stand for truth which is the word of God cover to cover. Amen. And if ye know that he is righteous, which is equitable, innocent, holy, just, ye know that everyone that doeth righteousness is born of him. And hallelujah, that is where we stand. So how do you know the truth? You dwell in the word of God. You dwell in the Holy Spirit. He is going to reveal the word to you. For example, not going out and voting. Faith without works is dead. God moves on faith. Your faith is stepping out and voting. You have to be open. You need to be bold. You need to tell people, "I'm voting for Trump and I'm going to go vote for him." Why? Because he loves Israel. And by the way, anyone who loves Israel is blessed. And anyone who hates Israel is cursed. Take a look at what this administration has done. The Biden Harris administration. They say they support Israel and they're there. you. They got their warships, but they're also giving money to Iran and Palestine, Hezbollah, Hamas. They're giving them money, which means they are supporting both. They're playing both sides of the fence. Their actions, their fruit tells us they don't support Israel 100%, which means they only got a partial blessing, which is why we're in the situation we're in today. You can see it. It's a very clear line of knowing what is truth, knowing what is a lie and not being seduced or deceived by it, not letting them let them manipulate us because we know by our dwelling in the Holy Spirit. We know by the Holy Spirit the truth shall set us free. Amen. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word. Let your word abound in us. Let your word just cause our cup to overflow and splatter on everybody around us, Father God, so that we are outspoken. We are bold and confident in speaking the truth of your word that Jesus Christ is the son of God. And I pray that people hear the truth and become believers and repent and call on your name, turn their lives around and continue to live for you in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father God. Amen.
