JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD AND HE LOVES YOU
Minister Lisa Kane
December 25, 2022

Objective:
To proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ as the Son of God, highlighting His birth, death, and resurrection as the greatest gift humanity has ever received. The message aims to encourage listeners to accept His love, confess Him as Lord and Savior, and embrace the free gift of eternal life He offers.
Synopsis:
In this Christmas message, Jesus is the Son of God and He Loves You, Lisa Kane shares the heart of the gospel, rooted in the humility and love of Christ. Beginning with Philippians 2:7–8, the teaching emphasizes how Jesus, though Creator of all, chose to humble Himself by being born as a man, living among us, and ultimately dying on the cross. His birth in Bethlehem, announced by angels and confirmed by shepherds, marked the fulfillment of God’s promise to send a Savior.
The message walks through key scriptures (Luke 2, John 1, Matthew 16, 1 John 4–5, John 3, Romans 10, and more), each affirming Jesus’ identity as the Son of God. It stresses four central acknowledgments: His birth, crucifixion, resurrection, and the personal salvation available through confession and belief. The sermon contrasts Israel’s rejection of Jesus with the believer’s invitation to receive Him today, underscoring the urgency of responding before the return of Christ and the coming judgment.
Lisa explains that salvation is not earned but freely given by God’s love through Christ, and that confessing Jesus as Lord brings transformation, forgiveness, and victory over sin, death, and the world. She calls on listeners to accept this priceless gift, leading them in a prayer of confession, and reminding them that Christmas is not only about His birth but also about the full gospel—His life, sacrifice, and resurrection.
The message closes with encouragement to abide in Christ’s love, share the gospel with others, and live as overcomers through faith, celebrating the true meaning of Christmas: Jesus is the Son of God, and He loves you.

Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this on Sunday, December 25th, 2022. Merry Christmas. This message is called Jesus is the son of God and he loves you. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this message and we thank you for your blessing on it as well so that we have knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and we know what your love is. we can experience it, share it with others, and share the good news, the gospel that you not only came as a man and was born, but you also went to the cross and humbled yourself before the heavenly father and did what you needed to do to save us. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you our savior in the name of Jesus. Amen. All right, let's go to our opening scripture here. We are looking at Philippians 2 7 and 8. but made himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondervant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. what we're going to be talking about here on December 25th here at the end of 2022 is the greatest gift that you could ever receive and that is acknowledging that Jesus Christ is the son of God and asking him to forgive you of your sins. Letting him be your Lord and Savior and letting him letting him change you on the inside because he loves you so much that when he realized he was born a man, he you know he's the one who created this world. You know he is the embodiment of let there be light. He is the numa the power. He was there in the beginning. Go read John 1:1 through4. He was there in the beginning and nothing is created without him. And he actually gave himself a role in his creation by being born a male child and not only being born but then humbling himself to the point of going to the cross and cru getting crucified. Uh you know this is the greatest gift you know it is acknowledging that Jesus Christ is the son of God. One acknowledging that he was born which brings the good news. Two, acknowledging that he was crucified. Three, acknowledging that he was resurrected. Four, and acknowledging that you can be saved if you would simply confess. What a gift. What a great gift. What a thing that Jesus did. It is so powerful and so true. He is Jesus Christ is the son of God and he loves you because he did this for us. you, me, doesn't matter what you did. Let's continue. Let's look at the scriptures now. Let's look at his birth. Luke 2:10-12. Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." And this will be the sign to you. you will find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger. So, did they find him? Because that's the sign that they gave him. Let's continue on. Look at verse 15. Now, so it was when the angels had gone away from them into heaven that the shepherds said to one another, "Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us." And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph and the babe lying in a manger. Now when they had seen him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this child. The angels came and told them what to do, where to go, and how to find their Messiah, their savior, and they found him. You know, I have been teaching about the wise men finding, which was remarkable in and of itself, but these guys did, too. So the angel said, "You go to the town of Bethlehem. You're going to find the babe lying in a manger wrapped in swaddling clothes." And they did. I mean, how odd of a situation is that? So, here was such such an odd event, but he did it and he became a child, a male child, knowing that he's going to have to grow up, become a man, and humble himself before the Lord and be crucified because he loves us. Let's continue. First John 5:20. And we know that the son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know him who is true and we are in him who is true in his son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. I'm telling you, the scriptures are telling you that Jesus wasn't just a good man or a good guy, cool guy, a prophet, but he's the son of God, and that he came to die for you. The nation of Israel was expecting a king who would save them out of their what they thought was trials and tribulations. Jesus is coming as king. But he didn't come as king the first time. He came as the son of God, the Messiah, perfect with his love. He humbled himself and took the pain of the cross in humiliation because he loves you. And then you now have the opportunity to say, "Jesus, you are the son of God." Let's continue. Matthew 16:15-17. He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" This is that was Jesus talking. Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the son of the living God." Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my father who is in heaven." Jesus and the heavenly father have been letting the world know that Jesus is the son of God. And that was what all the hubbhub was about. why Israel got so mad being called the king of the Jews because they rejected him. They said if he was truly the king, he wouldn't have let himself get up on the cross and be humiliated the way he does. And in fact, because he was so humiliated, the nation of Israel said there there is no way this is our God. That there's no way that this is the son of God. And you see now they get to be the guest of honor during the seven-year God's wrath time period that's coming. So they rejected. So don't do what Israel did and reject Jesus as a son of God. He is the son of God and he loves you. He loves you so much. He became born a child. What aches and ailments and pains do we have as we grow up in our childhood? How much suffering, rejection we go through? Pain and suffering, sicknesses, diseases, and some die prematurely. Jesus went through it all and took it to the cross and then took your sin that you committed, I committed, opened the door for, allowed in. He took it to the cross and said, "I take it and I apply my blood to it." And he cleansed it. He redeemed us and he rose from the dead. This is what Christmas should be about is his resurrection. So, you're celebrating his birth, his resurrection, the death, and his resurrection. Oh, hallelujah. This is the son of God. Continue. Let's continue on. 1 John 4:9. In this the love of God was manifested toward us that God has sent his only begotten son into the world that we might live through him. Now we get to live through him because we acknowledge that Jesus is the son of God. Look at this. 1 John 4:15. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the son of God, God abides in him and he in God. You have this relationship when you say Jesus you are the son of God and you say I ask you to forgive me of my sins. You see, it's a free gift. You do not have to work for your salvation for eternity. You work to better your relationship with God, but you don't have to work for the free gift of eternal life because Jesus did it for you. And it's a gift. And all you have to say is, "I'm sorry. You're the son of God. Come into my life. Be my Lord and Savior. And let's abide with one another. teach me your ways so that I may get closer to you and be more like you and share the good news with this world. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. This is amazing, you guys. This is this is the good news that the angels were talking about. Let's continue. John 3 15-1 17. That whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. You see as a king he has to condemn the world and he will. But as a savior, as the son of God, he came to might say the you see that go back says that through him, but that the world through him might be see might because not everybody's going to do this that people are going to reject. That's what they do. But you have a choice. You're listening to this. You need to acknowledge, confess that Jesus is the son of God. and ask him to be your Lord and Savior. It changes you on the inside. Changes your DNA. Changes your whole persona because now you're demonstrating the love that God showed us. He loved us so much. He gave his son. So now when you need to sacrifice for your loved ones, sacrifice time, sacrifice atonement, you need to atone for them, pray for them, give them to God, and hope that they might get saved. You start to have that love that God had because God is saying, "I love these people." He said to Jesus, "I need you to go save them." And Jesus said, "I got this." He came as a man and he humbled himself and said, "I take your sin and I forgive you. Do you want my forgiveness?" And all you have to say is yes. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. This is an awesome message. Confess that Jesus is Lord. Jesus is the son of God. Let's look at first John uh 5:es 1-5. Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God and everyone who loves him who begot also loves him who is begotten of him. See, when you love the way God loves, now those that sin around you, whether ignorant or doing it on purpose, who hate you, all of a sudden, nah, I know it's not you. It's a demon behind the scenes, I know God loves you. I love you. I forgive you. Jesus forgives you. And all of a sudden, the power of forgiveness, the power of love moves. This is what love is all about. You know, when the world says, "Well, love is love. You've got to accept me in my sin for whoever I am." Guess what? No, I don't. But what I can say is that Jesus is the son of God and I love you, not your sin. But I'm telling you to confess Jesus as the son of God. And he will change you in such a way that you won't ever want to sin again. You see, you want to sin right now because it's pleasurable, but it's pleasurable for a season, but it opens the door for consequences. Do you really want to live those consequences? Some of you already are. You already know you had to stop sinning because the Lord worked a a a transgression in you. He worked something in you to chastise you, to get you back on your feet. He He brought a sin into your life to heal you in the long run. So in other words, like a cancer, he opened the door. He allowed that to happen. God is in control of everything. So you get a cancer. That's because you've been sinning and he's saying, "I need you to come back. I will heal you if you acknowledge that Jesus is the son of God and ask me to forgive you. I will do it because I love you. But I have to do these things because I got to get your attention. Do you see how this works? How this gets manifest. Let's continue on here. Verse two. By this we know that we love the children of God when we love God and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God that we keep his commandments and his commandments are not burdensome. What? So you spend time with God in his word because it is fascinating to find out who he is. Can you imagine getting to know the creator of who made you? It is absolutely amazing and it is divine. It is absolutely incredible to spend time with the Lord. And you still have to go out in the world. You still got to go do your things. You know what, Jesus? Drink wine. Go have a little wine. Don't let it abuse you. Don't let it control you. You know, this is the things that you begin to learn and understand as a believer in Christ when you confess that Jesus is the son of God. Let's continue on verse four. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. Then see when you confess Jesus is God. Jesus is the son of God. You are of God now. And did you see this? Look at this. You're born of God and you're you overcome the world. You overcome cancer. You overcome CO. You overcome death. You see, your eternal life now is in God's hand. And if you're alive on the day of the Lord, when the rapture takes place, you overcome death because you already died to sin. And you died to this world because it changed you. That is the better. That is the better. Let's continue on. And this is the victory that has overcome the world. Our faith. You see, you have to take a step of faith for this. It's very challenging. I get that. But it's taking a step of faith. How do you do that? You talk, you confess that Jesus is Lord. You say, "Okay, Lord, I can't see you, but you know what? I'm going to take a leap of faith here and I'm going to say that you are the son of God and that I'm asking you to forgive me." It's a leap of faith. So now look at what he says. And this is the victory that has overcome the world. Our faith you overcome because now you become part of God. God becomes a part of you. You are now an overcomer. And look at this. Who is he who overcomes the world but he who believes that Jesus is the son of God? You become an overcomer because you confess and believe that Jesus is the son of God. Now let's take a look at what Jesus did for his death. Because you got to understand he was born. This was good news but he had to die. Let's look at the death and the resurrection. Matthew 27:5-53. And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. Then behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised. And coming out of the graves after his resurrection, they went into the holy city, and appeared to many. Can you imagine that? You know, he buried Aunt Lulu, Aunt Suzy, Uncle John, and all of a sudden they come up knocking on you. I got to tell you about Jesus. And you're just like, that had to be most interesting. I'm going to tell you that. But I'm going to tell you something here. When Jesus died, he was crucified and that temple or the veil in the temple was torn into which was a thick carpet. He did something so powerful that this is going to be for the end times. He tore his representation out of the hands of the nation of Israel and gave it to himself which then as he walked around for 40 days after the crucifixion, he said, "I'm leaving. I'm going to go away for a while. Here you represent me." You see, when you confess Jesus as the son of God, now you represent him. He says, "Get as many people as you can saved because there's going to come a point where that salvation will come to an end." Now, let's look at his resurrection here. It says Matthew 28:5-6, "But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He's not here for he is risen as he said, "Come see the place where the Lord lay." So you can see he was born a man. He humbled himself before the Lord, went to the cross, died a humiliating death in his loin cloth of all things. And then he rose from the dead and redeemed you. Gave you salvation, a free gift, the greatest gift that you can open up on December 25th. Look at this. Romans 10:9 and through 10 and verse 13. That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made into salvation. And then verse 13, for whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. You see, you confess that Jesus is the son of God. You become a part of God and God becomes a part of you and you accept that free gift. Now, the nation of Israel rejected Jesus as the son of God and they crucified him. They've got front row seats to the sevenyear tribulation time period of God's wrath. Now, they'll be covered. God's going to protect them, but they have to go through that. You don't have to go through that. You see, you confess today now that Jesus Christ is the son of God. Accept his love. Accept his mercy because doesn't matter what you did. You could have killed someone. Doesn't matter. He will forgive you of anything and everything. But once you die, you don't get that grace anymore. And I will also tell you this that once the rapture happens at the day of the Lord, it happens sometime on that day. We don't know the time. We don't know when that day is. We don't know the day nor the hour, but we know it. It's a part of that event structure in there. When that happens, the message we teach today no longer is applicable. You can no longer now say Jesus is the son of God. You might not even be able to do it. Now, in that seven-year tribulation, the first five months, nobody can die. And then after that, because nobody can die, after that it is highly likely you will have to die to show God that you truly are acknowledging that he is the son of God. So anyone alive on the day of the Lord that acknowledges Jesus is the son of God, you're in a special place with the Lord. He's got you covered and he's going to take you out because you are not appointed to go through that wrath of the seven-year tribulation. But anyone who does not confess Jesus as the son of God will have to go through that seven-year period. And the first five months, you cannot die. And there's going to be horselike scorpion things, demonic things coming around stinging you, and you will be in suffering. I don't wish that on anyone. I don't wish hell on anyone. I am begging you and asking you to accept this free gift from Jesus while you still can. Jesus is the son of God and he loves you. That doesn't matter what you've done. You can ask for forgiveness and be saved. Oh, hallelujah. Let's say it together. Jesus, repeat after me. Jesus, I acknowledge that you are the son of God, and I ask you to forgive me of my sins because I've sinned. I'm sorry. I ask you to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Jesus name. Amen. And that, my friend, is what we celebrate as a believer in Christ with Christmas and the resurrection day, also known as Easter. I don't call it Easter, call it resurrection day. Well, let's close in a word of prayer. And I wish you God's blessings on your beautiful day here with your family and loved ones. Father God, we bless you. We thank you. We thank you Jesus for your salvation, your mercy and your grace, for humbling yourself and saving us. I pray that many, many, many and everyone receive you and live for you and acknowledge that you are the son of God in the name of Jesus. Amen. God bless you and I'll see you in the next message. I will see you in 2023. Bye. Bye.
