PRE, MID, POST TRIBULATION RAPTURE: DOES IT MATTER?

Minister Lisa Kane

May 17, 2025

Lisa Kane, speaking for House of Faith Ministries, opens with prayer and introduces the teaching titled “Pre-Mid-Post-Tribulation Rapture: Does It Matter?” (1 Thessalonians 5:9). She stresses that while debates about rapture timing continue, the central truth is that believers are not appointed to God’s wrath and should focus on spreading the message of salvation.

The teaching examines prophetic passages in Revelation, highlighting the severity of the tribulation—such as demonic torment during the trumpet judgments—and contrasts this with God’s consistent pattern of delivering the righteous before judgment, as seen in the days of Noah and Lot. Drawing from Abraham’s intercession in Genesis and Paul’s “mystery” of transformation in 1 Corinthians 15, the lesson argues for a pre-tribulation rapture, underscoring God’s justice and mercy.

Ultimately, the message insists that speculation over timing should not overshadow the greater call: to share the gospel urgently. Salvation is free now, and those who call on the name of Jesus Christ will be saved (Romans 10:9, 13). The teaching closes with a sinner’s prayer, inviting listeners to accept Christ today rather than risk facing the horrors of God’s wrath.

Objective:

The purpose of this teaching is to explore the biblical question of the pre-, mid-, or post-tribulation rapture and determine whether the timing truly matters. More importantly, it emphasizes the urgency of salvation, encouraging believers to proclaim the gospel so that others may avoid the seven-year period of God’s wrath described in the book of Revelation.

Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above:

Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and I'm recording this teaching on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your revelation and we pray that the audience who is listening, their hearts and minds are receiving what the Holy Spirit is showing them. And I pray that they grab a hold of this teaching and don't let it go and show their family, show their friends, show their neighbors why we need to get saved quickly here and now because we don't want to live during that seven-year time period of your wrath when you pour it out on this earth. So, Father God, I thank you for teaching us and bringing this revelation here. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Oh, we got a very interesting teaching today, don't we? Let's go to our title. I'm calling this pre-mid posttribulation rapture. Does it matter? Let's go to opening scripture. 1 Thessalonians 5:9. For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Okay, we're going to talk a little bit about end time prophecy. But if you notice the question, does it matter? I'm going to show you some interesting revelation here. First and foremost, we're not God. And it's foresight. So, and God can change anything and work anything because he he's the creator of it all. Now, he will keep his word though. He will keep his word. So, whatever he's prophesied, he will complete it. Here is the thing though. He's going to complete it whether you or you or I are right or wrong about end time prophecy. So, does it matter? We have to ask the question, why did God give us the book of Revelation? Oh, I know why. Because he's telling us believers, go into all the world and preach the good news and let them know they can get salvation for free so they don't have to go through that hell on earth. Because the book of Revelation is about a seven-year time period of God's wrath being poured on on the earth. And as you just saw in the scripture, believers are not appointed to that time frame. I'm going to show you, I will answer the question whether the rapture happens before that time period or during that time period or at the end of that time period. I will answer that question. But right now, the most important aspect of this teaching is that you go into all the world and tell them you don't want to live during that time frame time time frame. Get saved now while the saving is free and good and easy. And I will do I will talk about salvation, how to get saved at the end of this teaching. So let's go back to this first scripture so we can understand what's going on here. For Godath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. So right now, future prophecy is there. He's showing us how bad it's going to be. And it's going to be bad. I'm going to take a couple snippets here from Revelation. We're going to talk about how bad it gets because I want you to see this so that you and I who believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God can go into the world out there and let them know you don't want to go through that. You do not want to go through that. Now's the time to get saved. Get it while it's free, while it's easy. We don't know how you're going to get saved or what you even have to do to be saved. A lot of theologians says you have to be beheaded. Well, wait a minute. Um, what if they somebody decides to kill you just by shooting you in the head? Do you get saved still? If See, we cannot. It's foresight. We're not God. We truly don't know. Even though the Bible is very specific about that time frame and gives us a lot of information which I'm about to show you, at the same time we do not know how people will get saved and salvation will be different. Remember he John went to write down what the seven thunders had spoke and God said don't write that down. And I have a feeling that has to do with how to get saved. And the reason God didn't reveal that to us is so that you're not sitting here going, "Well, I'll just wait for that time frame." You don't want to live during that time frame. So, let's get into this. So, this is kind of about end time prophecy, but at the same time, it's more importantly that we get people saved now while the saving is free. So, here in Revelation 9 1-6, again, I'm just showing you a snippet. The fifth angel sounded. So there are six seals and then there are seven or excuse me seven seals and seven trumpets and they're kind of like back to back. And in the midst of the seven trumpets the last three trumpets which would be the fifth, sixth and seventh which is one of them are three woes. So this is going to be woe number one that we're reading. So this is how bad things are going to be. So this by the way and see I'm going to answer the question whether there the rapture happens before middle or after this time period and I'm going to tell you right now it happens before I will show you a different approach to how to look at this. This is revelation from God. This is the Holy Spirit. You're here listening to this for a particular reason. So stay stay with us and see. But I want to show you how bad this time frame gets. What you're about to see is the first or a fivemonth time period, which is at the beginning of this seven-year time period, and it's hell on earth. Watch this. So, and the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth, and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locust upon the earth. And unto them was given power, privilege as the scorpions uh the word scorpion is piercing. So scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded to them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men which have not the seal of protection of God on their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months. And their torment was as the torment of a scorpion when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death and shall not find it and shall desire to die and death shall flee or run away from them. Okay. So first of all let's talk about the seal of the Lord

in Revelation 7. 12,000 of 12 tribes of Israel are sealed with God's seal. Male Jews that have not uh been touched by a woman, virgins. They're all virgins. So, these 144,000 are sealed. So after that is when a whole bunch of people show up in heaven and then all of a sudden you have this where a star is fallen and this uh demon which is in charge of the pit. He opens up the gates and he releases these locust things. They're they're like there's more description in there. I didn't bring all that description in here. It's not good reading. If you want to know more, go read it. Uh but basically these things are released on the earth and they can sting anyone who hasn't got the seal of God on them which means it's anybody who's alive at that time. Now the two witnesses can draw any fire down from heaven and plagues and all that kind of stuff. So my guess is that anything tries to come after them, they're just going to kill it until their time is to die, which is in the middle of the seven-year time period. Again, you can go read all this. you can pick it up and figure it out. So you have to ask yourself the question which I asked earlier why was the book of revelation written because see we know that prophecies throughout scriptures we know that all the prophecies about Jesus first coming was fulfilled. Now prophecy here in this second uh for Jesus second return is going to be fulfilled as well. So Jesus is coming back a second time. Why give us this if it just needs salvation? One, I believe that the Lord is showing us what the people are going to go through during that time period. One, they cannot die. Did you see that? Death flees from them.

Think about that for just a moment here. They they realize and a lot of people are going to realize that they missed the boat. these this is a group of people that have already rejected that Jesus Christ is the son of God. So you've got your 144,000 sales, you've got your two witnesses, and then you've got the unbelievers here. By the way, go read Revelation. You will not find any believers walking in there through there. Where is the church? I'm going to tell you right now, when the two witnesses show up and they're down there in Jerusalem calling fire down from heaven, it's going to be on the news. Guess where Lisa will be? If Lisa was here during that time, and for that matter, any other believer that truly puts God first in their life, they're going to be right there with those two witnesses. But the Bible doesn't tell us that. This is fascinating. Where are the believers? It's just like a sore thumb that sticks out. Now, again, I told I'm going to answer the question whe the rapture happens before, which I believe it does, and I'm going to show you another way of how scripture from the Old Testament tells us it's going to be. So, there's going to be some neat revelation here, and I want you to pick up on that. But at the same time, we need to know what's going to happen. So, these unbelievers are going to be running around and facing what I'm just calling it, demonlike creatures that are going to sting them. And that sting is going to hurt, but it won't kill them. But it's going to hurt and they're going to be in pain. I'm going tell you right now, I had hurt my knee a few weeks ago, and it's rough. I tore my meniscus and I have to walk on it still. It hurts. I don't like the pain. I can tell you right now, nobody is going to like that pain. And if you're a believer and you're hearing this for the first time and you were not aware of what's and again, this is just a snippet of the suffering that people are going to go through. You can go read more if you want. You should have a tug pulled on your heart that tells you, "I better tell my family. I better tell my friends because you want to get saved now. You don't want to miss the boat and you don't want to be in you don't want to be living during that time frame. And for anybody that's teaching that Christians will be there during this time period, let me let you in on a little secret. They don't know the love of God. And I'm going to show you how God had answered this question from the Old Testament. So let's go let's go look at the Old Testament because I want you to see and and I you know and before I go there one more point I want to make here. If you think and you've gone in the other direction like how could God just torture people like that? Let me let you in on something here. These are people who rejected God. God is trying to get their attention. One, they're still alive. Which means if they come to be a believer, they still have a chance to get saved. This is the love of God being poured out on them. Even though it's wrath, it's letting them have a chance to get back with God. Repent. Now, if you read it carefully, you will find out they continue to reject God even after all of that. But God is trying to get their attention. He's saying, "Listen, I'm in control. You need to believe in me so you can get saved." And then some people are going to think, "Well, that's just not right. That that's the only choice here. Hey, you know what? God is the one who created this world. He can do and and save us however way he wants because salvation is of the Lord." And I will tell you this much. Even though we don't know how people will get saved during the seven-year time period, I know that God is still working on people during that time, and there will be some who will be saved. Whether that is through beheading, some theologians think it's through beheading. What happens if you're shot point blank? Can you still get saved if you're calling on Jesus and rejecting the mark of the beast and rejecting um everything else? Yeah, you can still be saved that way, too. So, you can't just limit because they they tell you you have to be beheaded to be saved. That's what a lot of theologians teach about this time frame. Beheading is spoken of. I just don't think it's the only way. So, let's let's not limit God and what he is capable of doing. He can do anything he wants, but he keeps to his word. If he prophesied it, it's going to happen. So now the question is where do you want to spend eternity? Do you really want to go through all of this because you think that God is being a big bad God? No. You need to repent here and now. He created you and he didn't have to. But that's how much he loves you. And Jesus went to the cross whether you accept him or not. Jesus died on the cross for our salvation. This is why today Today scripture talks about today that we should teachers, evangelists, pastors, preachers, any one of us need to be going into the world and letting the world know, get saved now. It's so easy. Call upon the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved. He is the son of God and he sacrificed himself on the cross so that we could be saved. Not everybody's going to be saved, but we're hoping for the best. So, we want to get as many as we can now because in this generation, you're seeing prophecy unfold. Go to Matthew 24 and just start reading right off the top about great earthquakes, pestilences, COVID. uh all of these things are unfolding in our in our eyes. We're seeing it and that's just the beginning of the birth panges of this season that we're entering. So, we have entered this season and it is about to burst. So, get ready, get saved, and save as many as you can. Put salvation as a priority in your mind. If you're getting gas, if you're at the grocery store, hey, do you know about Jesus? I just want you to know you can get saved now. Let's just get as many as we can before they for the first five months they can't even kill themselves, which they think is a merciful thing, but God is trying to get them to be saved so that he can bring as many home as possible. And I bet you there's going to be quite a few that get saved during that time period. So now what I want to do is talk about the debate of the premid or posttribulation rapture. Let's look at the Old Testament and see what Abraham and God had to say about it. This is how this is powerful. This is interesting. We're in Genesis 18 verses 20- 26. And the Lord said, "Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, because their sin is very grievous, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it or the shriek of it which is come unto me, and if not, I will know." And the men turned their faces from dens and went towards Sodom, but Abraham stood yet before the Lord. Okay, so Luke and Matthew, Matthew 24 says it'd be like the days of Noah. I think it's Luke 21 or I think it's Luke 21 that tells you if it's not you can go look it up. Luke tells us it'll be like the days of Lot. So in order to understand end time prophecy Jesus is telling us to go to the past to understand it. So here's one snippet of you know remember end time prophecy is a big big picture but I want to show you this conversation that Abraham had with God about going to Lot. Now, I'm going to also show you the days of Noah. But right now, let's look at the days of Lot. So, Lot was they were sinning greatly against God. So much so that God is going to pay them a visit to see if it is really true that what's going on. And Abraham kind of knows this. So, Abraham's like, "Wait a second, God, before you go." And this is what he says to God in verse 23. And Abraham drew ne near and said, "Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?" I want to pause there. How many people think the rapture is going to happen in the middle of God's wrath or at the end of God's wrath? So, do you think that God pouring out his wrath on the earth where and by the way, the prophecy clearly says that those scorpions will touch anyone except for those that have the seal of God. And it doesn't talk about sealing the church. Doesn't talk about sealing the believers. It talks about sealing the Israelites, 144,000 Jews. Which means those scorpions are going to be loose all over the earth going after anybody alive during that time that doesn't have God's seal. you. So in essence that would if the righteous and the wicked would have to be tormented at the same time according to scripture and Abraham here many thousands years earlier is saying wait a minute God what about the righteous he's he sees what I think a lot of theologians are seeing where you're going to do that what about us who love you. And some are coming to a conclusion. I don't know how they're coming to this conclusion. I mean, there's scripture in there that if you if you're not putting it in the right context can look misleading where it tells you, "Oh, these you're all going to be suffering the same." No, no, no, no, no. Now, remember, if you miss the boat and you're in there during that time and you get saved while you're in that time frame, that's a different story. So, you might become righteous in the middle. And actually, I don't know because maybe you have to die to become righteous. See, we don't know enough about that time frame because we live in a time of grace and our hearts are being biased when we read scripture. We're saying, "Oh, you can be filled with grace during that time." What if you can't? God's wrath is being poured out and and water and oil don't mix. Wrath and grace don't mix. So Abraham is bringing up the conversation with God. Let's go back. So Abraham asks a very interesting question here in verse 24. He says, "Per adventure there be 50 righteous within the city. Wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the 50 righteous that are therein?" So he's asking God point blank, tell me what if you find 50 righteous people, what then? So God answers him. And in fact, Abraham's still talking in verse 25 where he says, "That be far from thee to do after this manner to slay the righteous with the wicked, and that the righteous shall be as the wicked." That be far from the you. He's saying that's far from you. You're not that. See, he understands the love of God. He understands who his God is. And his God says he won't suffer his wrath. See, you and I who believe in God and know his love and accept his love will know that God's not going to pour his wrath on us. Hallelujah. Such good news. And look at this. That be far from me. He says, "Shall not the judge of all the earth do right?" See, God is a righteous judge. And I've taught on this before. He is currently building his case so that when he gets to judgment day, he has enough evidence against the devil to make the devil suffer for eternity. That's how God works. That's what he's doing. But for those that choose God and believe in him, he loves us. Watch his answer. Now, this is God answering Abraham. And the Lord said, "If I find in Sodom 50 righteous within the city, then I will spare or lift all the place for their sake." He won't destroy the city if there are 50 righteous people. Now, we know that he did destroy the city because this conversation occurs before the destruction, which means there weren't 50. In fact, the conversation continues on verse 32. And he said, "Oh, let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet, but this one." This is Abraham talking. He says, "Perventure 10 shall be found there." And he said, "I will not destroy it for 10 sake." And the Lord went his way as soon as he had left communing with Abraham. And Abraham returned his place. So I skipped some scriptures in there because of time. So Abraham asked, "What if there's 50, 45, 30, 20?" And then he got all the way to 10. What if there's 10 righteous? Did you see that? I will not destroy it for 10's sake.

So using that, in fact, let's go look at Noah's day. I I want you to see Noah's day at the same time. Something happens here that's very interesting. Uh in um Oh, and let's finish up here. Sodom. He says, "And Abraham got up early in the morning to the place where he stood before her, and he looked and toward looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of the furnace. The city was destroyed." Abraham saw it. And I wanted to bring that scripture in there because I want those that are looking and watching this to know what the scriptures tell us. Yes, the cities were destroyed because of their evil. And the only three that survived was Lot and his two daughters, which we can see this in Genesis um 19 29 and 30. And it came to pass when God destroyed the cities of the plain that God remembered Abra Abraham and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt. And Lot went up out of Zor and dwelt in the mountain and his two daughters with him. For he feared to dwell Zor and he dwelt in the cave, he and his two daughters. So when Lot came out of the city, he w Let's pause. I I want to get this right. I so want to get this right. God knew there weren't 10 righteous people. So he had to destroy the city because he has a threshold. You see the 10, it's actually below 10. So he takes what righteous there was out of Sodom and Gomorrah and the only three who survived was Lot and his two daughters. Now his wife did come out with him. Now I'm sure you've heard the story. She turned around longing for it and she turned into a pillar of salt died. That's what happened in Lot's day. And Jesus says it'll be like that. What happened in Noah's day? Because Noah's flood took place. Something else happened here. I want you to see this. And this is Genesis 6:5. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth. That every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. God didn't destroy the earth because of the giants. And I wanted to clarify that popular belief. He did it because there was every man was thinking wickedness. uh continually uh I do know uh Methuselah it says here in uh Genesis 5:27 and all the days of Methusela were 960 nine years and he died and Methusela he it's not in the scripture in that second bullet point but he died the same year Noah turned 600 which is the same year of the flood so a lot of preachers preach out there that once Methuselah died if you talk about his name here comes destruction um and here comes you know God's going to destroy the earth at that time. So they they teach that that's when once he died it doesn't say that he was a righteous man just says that once he died. So his name meant that destruction comes after his death. So then after he died Noah was 600 years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. This is Genesis 7 6 and 7. And Noah went in and his sons and his wife and his son's wives with him into the ark because of the waters of the flood. Now that's eight people. So you've got eight people who came again. God took eight people out of the wickedness so he could destroy the wicked and he saved the eight people because there wasn't enough people to bring the city around from destruction. there was not 10 righteous. So he eight survived there, three survived out of Sodom and Gomorrah. So God has a type here. And I want you to see Paul saw this, you know, after Paul uh after Jesus intervened in his life on the road to Damascus and and his name he started calling himself Paul and he was no longer Saul. He went into the wilderness for three years and remember Paul or Saul was a Pharisee of the Pharisees. He knew the scriptures. But during that three-year time period where he waved back in to see it now through Jesus' eyes, he saw a mystery. And look what he says in 1 Corinthians 15:51 and 52. Behold, I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep or be dead, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump. For the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed or made different.

So God has a type. If he is going to destroy something like he did Sodom and Gomorrah, he brings out what righteous is left. If he's going to destroy the earth, he brought out what righteous with was left. If he's going to pour out his wrath, he has to remove the righteous first. That's what Paul saw. That's why he says, "Listen, I'm telling you a mystery. We're not all going to be dead. We're not all going to die the same way." You want to know why? I'll tell you why. Because the spirit of salvation is active and moving and saving people. You need to grasp the spirit of salvation. You need to start one praying in the secret place with the Lord. Praying over your loved ones, your family, your friends, co-workers, whomever you want to be saved. And by the way, you ought to be forgiving them as well. And if you're forgiving them, God is obligated to forgive them, which means they will get saved because the spirit of salvation through the Holy Spirit, they're working in tandem to come and save them. And so people are getting saved day after day. This is awesome. Great. Which means there's going to be a lot of people on the earth when God decides to pour out his wrath. When he's good and ready for the day of the Lord to arrive at his time, when he wants to come in and do that, he has to remove the righteous because he spoke the word to Abraham already where the righteous and the wicked will not be judged together on the earth because that is not who God is. Abraham declared it. It is prophesied. We will be removed from the earth. And then God will pour out his wrath. And in that time frame, somehow someway, people are going to get saved. And when they do, they're going to be beheaded. They're going to be killed for their belief. Whatever way, however way it happens, they're going to get saved through death. Most likely. Most likely through death. We don't know the details of that. So now though is the time to get saved. Now is the time to tell people get saved while it's free. And by the way, salvation is free. Look at what Romans 10:9 says that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. And then verse 13, whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. you all you have to do is say Lord Jesus and talk to him like he's a real person because when you do that it's like you're believing that he he was raised from the dead which is what our heart needs to believe it is not complicated it is not difficult it is that you believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God as the moment you start calling on him the moment you say I'm going to repent this is you getting saved and You will be pulled out when that time frame comes up unless the Lord should tar. And I just don't think he's going to. He's coming. He's coming quickly and he's coming in this generation now. Whether that's two years, 10 years, another 50 years. I could possibly live another 50 years. Uh the way I am. Uh I don't think so. But that my generation I think it's my generation because it was at the generation of when Jerusalem became the capital of Israel and that was in 1967. I was born in 1969 right in that time frame and very close to that generation. So yes. So let's pray the sinner's prayer together because I want you to get saved. Amen. Amen. You've been listening to this this entire time. Get a Bible. Go check it out. And if you can't get a Bible, you have internet access because you're watching this. Go to www.biblegateway.com.

Look up the book of Revelation and start a relationship with God and read the book of John, the Gospel of John. It's free. You can read it online. Amen. Let's uh repeat after me. Dear Jesus, I ask you to forgive me. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I don't want to live in that time period when you pour out your wrath in the name of Jesus. Thank you for saving me. Amen. Amen. Amen. God bless you and I will see you in the next message. Byebye.
