SALVATION OVERCOMES

Minister Lisa Kane

November 5, 2025

Salvation Overcomes draws from Psalm 37 and other key scriptures to show that the distinguishing mark of the righteous is their trust in the Lord’s salvation. While the wicked may appear to prosper, their end is destruction; the salvation of the upright, however, brings peace and divine strength. Minister Lisa Kane teaches that the experience of salvation walk of confession, partnership with Christ, and faith in Christ causes the believer to overcome in any situation including death. Through passages such as Romans 10, 2 Corinthians 6, and Ephesians 1, she reveals that believers are sealed by the Holy Spirit, strengthened in times of trouble, and called to live lives worthy of the gospel. By declaring and living in the reality that “salvation is of the Lord,” we rise above adversity, reflect God’s glory, and demonstrate that through Christ we are more than conquerors—for truly, Salvation Overcomes.

Objective:

To reveal that true salvation, found only in Jesus Christ, empowers believers to overcome sin, adversity, and the deception of evil. Through faith, confession, and trust in the Lord, salvation becomes not only the key to eternal life but also the strength, peace, and victory that sustain us in this present world.

Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above:

Psalm 37:37-40 NKJV
37 Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.
38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off. 39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him.

Ahhh…to be saved. Salvation makes the difference between a person living and walking in evil ways to a person living and walking in salvation.

Salvation is from the Lord and we can choose to live by that salvation by choosing good. This decision allows us to be strong when it seems like evil is winning.

I encourage you to read all of Psalm 37 as it makes a distinct difference between walking in salvation or being an evildoer.

Acts 4:12 NKJV
12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Salvation comes from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He died on the cross to redeem us of our sins. Without that, we cannot be saved.

With this salvation, we can choose to live godly lives and with that decision we overcome.
Remember our opening scriptures:

Psalm 37:37-38 NKJV
37 Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.
38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off.
Those choosing Christ salvation lives in peace and the wicked shall be cut off.

It is an understanding frustration when we see the wicked prosper and seem successful but remember, we have something much better and lasting throughout the ages – salvation from the Lord.

Romans 10:10 NKJV
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

And it takes speaking with our mouth, confession made unto salvation. I’ve taught this before that it is our mouth that makes the difference in how we walk in salvation, or deliverance over anything we face.
We can declare Jesus is Lord over anything by reading verse 9:

Romans 10:9 NKJV
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

This is what saves us. We need to speak out loud.

2 Corinthians 6:1-2 NKJV
We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

You can see from 2 Corinthians 6:1 that we work together – we speak God’s word and partner with our heavenly Father to not walk in vain, pride, or anything opposite salvation from the Lord. Today is the day of salvation.

Ephesians 1:13-14 NKJV
13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who[d] is the [e]guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
This salvation places a seal over our lives guaranteeing our inheritance, in which we overcome. THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER!

Jonah 2:9 NKJV
9 But I will sacrifice to You With the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.”

While Jonah was in the belly of the fish, he cried out declaring salvation is of the Lord. It’s important to remember that in times of trouble, where it seems like there is nothing else we can do, we cry out to the Lord and declare salvation over that situation.

Psalm 3:8 NKJV
8 Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah

Psalm 37:38 NKJV
39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble.
Remembering salvation becomes a strength we draw on.

Psalm 68:20 KJV
20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.
You see salvation isn’t just overcoming death, it overcomes anything we face. We walk in peace…remember our opening scripture:

Psalm 37:37
37 Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.

So, yes, our eternity in heaven is something to always look forward to but we can see God overcome current issues we face in the now.

Philippians 1:27-30 NKJV
27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, 28 and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but [f]to you of salvation, and that from God. 29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, 30 having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me.

Knowing our salvation is from the Lord and choosing to walk in it, that becomes worthy of the gospel of Christ. This causes us to be a demonstration of what salvation can do for us. People will see the difference between evildoers and believers in Christ, and which one you represent.

1 Thessalonians 5:8-9 NKJV
8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. 9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

God made salvation for us. Let’s choose to walk in that salvation and avoid the upcoming wrath set for the evildoers.

Romans 8:37 NKJV
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

After all, we are more than conquerors because Salvation overcomes.
