SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD
Minister Lisa Kane
December 29, 2024

Objective:
The objective of this teaching is to help believers understand the significance of the seven spirits of God described in Revelation, how they are connected to the authority and victory of Christ, and how this same spiritual empowerment is available to every believer today. It encourages Christians to walk fully in their identity, to be watchful, diligent, and steadfast in faith, so they may conquer spiritual battles, overcome dual living, and operate in the authority given through Jesus Christ.
Synopsis:
In this teaching, Lisa Kane examines the meaning of the seven spirits of God as revealed in Revelation 4:5 and 5:6, highlighting how Jesus, the Lamb of God, possessed them and through His victory has made them available to all believers. She connects this reality to the church of Sardis in Revelation 3, showing how Christians can appear alive yet spiritually dead when distracted by the world, living with one foot in the Lord and one in the world.
Believers are exhorted to be watchful, strengthen what remains of their faith, repent, and remember the authority given to them in Christ. Through the example of Joshua and the priests at Jericho, Lisa illustrates how the seven spirits symbolize divine power and intercession, equipping believers to stand firm, blow the trumpet of warning, intercede for others, and bring down spiritual walls through the name of Jesus.
The message emphasizes that even if a believer feels unworthy or distant, the authority of Christ remains within them through the Holy Spirit. By confession, repentance, faith, and speaking the Word, Christians can walk in deliverance, healing, and victory. Ultimately, this teaching calls believers to embrace their role as priests, live watchfully, and operate in the fullness of the seven spirits of God, remembering always that they are more than conquerors through Christ.
Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above:
Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kain and I'm recording this teaching on Sunday, December 29th, 2024. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. Oh Lord, your word is so good, so filling. Let it be planted in our hearts and minds. Let our hearts and minds be prepared to hear your word that we receive it and it does not leave us. that we speak your word, that we apply your word, that we live by your word, and that your word encompass us through and through. Thank you for your word, and thank you for the power of your anointing and the name of Jesus and teaching us how to be more than a conqueror. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. I'm so glad you are here. I can't believe it's December 29, 2024, but it is. This will be my last teaching for 2024. We have so many teachings on our website. I hope you're blessed by the material. You know, if there's something that really touched you, communicate. Send me a message. Let's talk. And if there's questions you have, ask. Amen. All right. This teaching is going to be very cool, very interesting. And oh, I'm so excited about it. It's called the seven spirits of God. Let's go to our opening scripture here in Revelation 4:5 and Revelation 56. uh verse five in chapter four. And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne which are the seven spirits of God. And then in chapter 5 verse six and I beheld and lo in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts and in the midst of the elders stood a lamb as they had been slain having seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. What are the seven spirits of God? This is very interesting because the lamb Jesus had has them. He has the seven eyes. He has the seven horns and he has this um thing that Jesus did which is to redeem us which he overcame. He conquered Satan. He conquered this world. He died. It may look like he didn't conquer it. You know, he was crucified. And at the time of his crucifixion when he was buried, he rose from the grave three days later, conquering it and having victory. Amen. That is what Jesus had. Now we the same spirit that was in Christ that raised him from the dead is going to raise us from the dead too. We have this opportunity of these seven spirits of God to be within us because we are co-join hes with Christ. We're adopted into the family as believers in Christ. So as a result, we have these seven spirits. So if Jesus had it, we have it. And that means we are more than conquerors because Jesus had the seven spirits of God and he conquered Do you want to conquer? But we're talking I'm going to be talking to a specific audience today. We're going to go talk about the church of Sardis. Let's go to Revelation 3:es 1-6. Says, "Unto the angel of the church in Sardis, write these things he that hath the seven spirits of God." Seven spirits of God.
Look at this. And the seven stars. I know thy works. Wait a minute. So, we have the seven spirits of God and the stars. Yes, we do. Because we're believers in Christ. The moment that you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, that's what you have. Well, look at this. I know thy works that thou hast name that thou livest and are dead or a corpse. How could you have the seven spirits of God and be alive and dead at the same time? Isn't that very interesting? Who's he talking to? So, he's talking about believers who are alive and dead at the same time. Let's continue on. I want you to see. He's telling you to be watchful and strengthen the things which remain that are ready to die off. This is the audience he's talking to. You have a foot in the world and a foot in the Lord. You have asked the Lord to be your Lord and Savior. And if you recall my testimony that I've shared many times here, there were times I'd be on fire for God, months or years at a time, and then all of a sudden months would go by. God was a I I never thought of him. Never even prayed, nothing. That was my early days as a young woman. And I'm going to tell you, you don't realize it. It's happening, but you're you're living two worlds. And so what he's saying here, he's telling you that you have the seven stars, the seven spirits and the seven stars. You have this is yours. So he's telling you to be watchful. There are many people I know, believers and unbelievers, who want to put their head in the sand and don't want to watch the news. They don't want to know what's going on in the world. Well, guess what? Jesus says you need to be watchful. One of the reasons why you're not alive as a believer in Christ, which you ought to be, which you still have the authority, you just don't know it yet, is because you're not watching. Now, this is not an end times teaching video. We're actually going to be talking about deliverance here. But I want you to see that he's telling believers you need to be watchful. That's first thing you need to be doing because how can you understand what the Holy Spirit is telling you if you don't know what it's going to be applied for. He's, you know, this is one of the ways that the Lord communicates with us is through the acts of the world. We're to watch the unbelievers. Watch the unbelievers and watch what they're doing. That tells you a whole lot about where we are in end time events. So, he's telling you to be watchful. And then he says to strengthen the things which remain that are ready to die off. What does that mean? Now strengthen means to be resolute, confirm, establish, and then it's the remnant. There are things that you have like the authority that you have in Jesus that you're not using. And he's saying it's about ready to die off. And he's telling you to strengthen it. Which what does that word strengthen mean? to turn resolutely, confirm, establish. How can you establish the authority of the name of Jesus if you haven't been practicing it in the secret place with the Lord or you haven't been reading the scripture? You don't even know what scripture to quote because you're not watching it. You're not watching. You're not letting it fill you up because you're living two lives. Yes, you're a believer in Christ, but you're going to lose your resolute that that um yearning in you that you want something and you're going to fight for it. You know, there are some people who have this mind. They know absolutely no. I'm never getting cancer. I'm never going to get sick. And there are people who have never been sick in their entire life. They just don't get sick because in their mind, they don't get sick. You have that authority, by the way. You're just not using it. And he's telling you to shrink these strengthen these things off. They're about to die. That's what he says. Says, "For I have not found thy works perfect or leveled up satisfied before God." Your works are they're actually what's holding you back. You're not working for him or you're doing the minimal that you could and you're about to lose this. Watch this in verse three. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard and hold fast and repent. He's telling you, go back to the day that you repented. Remember what you did. You were excited about the Lord. You came to the Lord and you were thrilled. You got water baptized. You were flying high on cloud nine. You were just way up there. And that word repent there means to think differently. All of a sudden, you're thinking differently because the Holy Spirit is now working in your mind, but the busyiness of the world has come in and distracted you or for some reason you're just not spending time with the Lord. You're not watching, you're not being diligent. You're one foot in, one foot out. And he's telling you to get out of this funk of being dual, you know, serving the devil and serving God. And by the way, Christians do serve the devil. just don't realize it. Anytime you complain or you judge somebody, that's doing the devil's job for him. Let him do his own job. We can we can do it's hard enough to do our own job without doing his job, too, right? So, let him do his own job. Says, "If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I come upon thee." By the way, you will know the hour of when the Lord returns. The scripture in Matthew 24 where it says, "No one knows the day nor the hour." Let me tell you, heard great teaching on that the other day. I wasn't going to share this, but I'm going to share it. Uh he was teaching how it's it's an Israeli thing. And when they're looking for the new moon, which is just right after sunset and dusk is is settling in, the sliver of the new moon will come up on the horizon. You have to be up high on a wall to see this, by the way. So when you become a believer, you are lifted up and you're like a light on the city, uh the city, the hill of the city. You are up there. Well, you the priests get up there and they're looking for that sliver of that new moon, but if they don't see it that day, they have to come back the next day. They don't know the day nor the hour because they don't know when the lunar calendar will begin. That's very interesting, isn't it? Let's continue on. So, you are a priest as someone who's in Christ. And if you're only doing stuff for yourself and you're not watching, you're not interceding, you still have authority in him. You still have his authority. Look at this. Let me show you that. But you you will be unaware of things going on because let's finish verse three. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Verse four, thou hast a few names, authority, character, even in Sardis, which have not defiled or soiled their garments. Whoa, wait a second here. You still have authority because you're a believer in Christ. You have the seven spirits of God in you. You have the stars in you. This is your gift that Christ gave you when you became a believer. you're just not practicing it. So, he's telling you, I want you to watch. I want you to pay attention. I want you to be that priest that's up on that hill. I want you to intercede for people because I want you to speak on your behalf and the authority that I've given you. And then I want you to speak on their behalf and the authority I've given you because you need to intercede for people. That's our responsibility by the way as believers in Christ. And then to not defile our garments. See, there are people even even if you're distracted, you're you're not living for Christ. You're not going after de uh devilish things. You're not going after um evil things. You're trying to be as good as you possibly can. So, you're not defiling your garments. You're not going after false gods and so so forth. They shall walk with me in white, for they are worthy. You see, you are worthy still. Sometimes we just have to remember and repent before the Lord and think differently. See, a lot of us too as believers, what's the first thing we do? We hear the doctor tell you something bad news. You believe it. When hey, wait a minute. I got the authority and the seven spirits of God is in me and was in Christ who raised the same spirit in Christ that was in Christ that raised him from the dead is going to do the same thing for me. Well then in that particular case I had the authority still even if I haven't been walking with him. So I have the chance to turn my mind from not listening to the doctor and listening to God. I still have that ability. And that is who I'm talking to is that particular audience today. You're you're not sure. You're like I I'm bad. I've been unworthy. I I can't do any. Yes, you can. You have that authority and you are more than a conqueror. We'll get to that. Says, "He that overcomemeth, subdue, conquer, the same shall be clothed in white raignment." See, you can overcome. Imagine, you know, uh there's things that the human body does is remarkable. Uh you're in a car accident, a car pins somebody down, that person can lift that car up and get that person out. That adrenaline, it's something that goes in our mind where, oh, I just got to lift this car and you do it. You don't even think twice. You don't think about a as yourself as a weak person or you just like, uh-uh, I got to save this person. And you're so focused on saving that person that you don't even realize you're lifting a car. Like Peter when he got out of the boat and he's walking on the water, he's like, "Hey." And then he realizes he he all of a sudden becomes aware, I'm walking the water. and he starts to sink. It's when you focus on Christ and you're going to stay above the water because you are an a conqueror. You are conquering the situation, whatever it may be. And I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my father and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches. So Jesus is very clearly telling us we have this ability even if you're half and half in the word and uh not walking quite 100% with the Lord, you have the authority to stand forth in his word. And I hope that you get that because the fact that you're coming and searching me out to even listen to a message online outside of the church as an additional teaching, you're seeking, you're looking for something. understand that you have the authority to overcome. And if you have never confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior and now you're interested, it's very easy to do. You just simply you can pause the video. You just say, "Jesus, I'm sorry." Because you know what? We have to acknowledge that we messed up and and we have. You just say, "Jesus, I'm sorry." and you just say, "I want to become a believer in you." And I'm speaking out to you because I I'm believing that you're alive. And as soon as you do that, your name is written in the Lamb's book of life. And then you can choose to be water baptized and then go walk in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Take that and do it. He says to be watchful. And you need to be watching and aware of what's coming. You've got to be up on that city hill and be watching. Why? Because as a priest, what do priests do when you're watching? They'll blow the trumpet. Let's let's go see this principle in action because I think this is so fascinating seeing the seven spirits of God work. That's what this teaching is about. So, watch this. We're going to go to Joshua chapter 3, excuse me, chapter 6:es 3 and 4. And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war. He's talking to the nation of Israel. And go round about the city once. Now, he's talking about Jericho. So he's coming in and he's going to be marching around the city. So he's telling, let me break it, let me finish reading scripture. I'll break it down. Thus shalt thou do six days. Verse four, and seven priests, the word priest, their sacred full one. So when you make a commitment with the Lord and you're not walking half and half, even though half and half, you still have your authority. But the moment you come together as one, now you're not just praying on your behalf and trying to take care of yourself and keep yourself from the enemy. you're also praying for others. That's when everything shifts, changes. Watch this. Says, "And the seven priests shall bear before the ark, seven trumpets of ram's horns, and the seventh day ye shall compass revolve surround the city seven times, and the priest shall blow with the trumpets." So, what's going on here? So, Joshua has crossed over the Jordan River. He's there. The whole nation of Israel is now in the promised land. God has given them the promised land. So at this point, God says, "I'm going to give you the city of Jericho. This the way you're going to take this city is you're going to march around the city once per day. Nobody can speak a word. Trumpets will blow." Let's let's let's digress a little bit and let's talk about trumpets. There's a feast called Rashashana or the feast of trumpets. Not very much spoken about this. the priests will blow the trumpet hundred times and um that's really the the priests the the Israeli priests have their thing with that but in all reality that has to do with the rapture that has to do with end times but what is the point of blowing a trumpet why do you have to blow a trumpet well if you're that priest and you're up on that wall and you're watching and you see the enemy coming, you blow the trumpet, you're telling the people, "Get ready for battle." So, when that trumpet is blown for the day, the rapture, the day of the Lord that comes, and he's going to blow seven trumpets in that that time period, seven-year time period where all that's going on. I'm not going to teach on that right now. But what's going to happen is he removes the church because God says, "I'm doing the battle. I'm going to battle. So the trumpet is just for us to be watching and be aware of that he's coming. So now these priests are told to march around the city once blow the trumpet and they do that for six days. So the seventh day now Joshua told him, I don't want you to say a word and until I tell you to shout. You don't do anything until I tell you to shout. So down in verse 20 in in chapter 6 he tells them to shout and this is what happens when they shout. This is on the seventh day after the seventh time they walked around the wall. So the people shouted or this means to mar split the ears when the priests blew with the trumpets. And it came to pass when the people heard the sound of the trumpet and the people shouted with a great great shout shout that the wall fell down flat. So that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. What is the seven spirits of God? The seven priests who represented the seven spirits of God blew the trumpet. They are the ones who alerted. Jesus was blowing the trumpet and letting us know what's going on. And that trumpet is going, the last trump is going to blow. And when it does, we're going to go. But look what happened here. The walls fell down. Watch this in deliverance. Now imagine
you are dealing with a spiritual matter. Somebody has cancer in your family or something. This is something we're dealing with here personally in our personal testimony dealing with my mom and this cancer. Well, one of the things that we have the opportunity to do is we are priest priestesses where we are interceding on behalf of others. We can march around that wall that issue could be finances. We had the name of Jesus who is who has the seven spirits of God. And so when you practice bringing in the the seven spirits of God, the name of Jesus, you come in and you apply the name of Jesus on that situation. And what happens is you come to the I thank you, Lord. Psalm 107 tells you when you go to come back from a troubled situation, you're coming back and you're saying, Lord, I'm sorry. Then you say, "I thank you for getting me out of the situation I'm in." The moment that you do that, the walls fall down. Your mountain, whatever it may be, falls down. And I'm not kidding you. Sicknesses, diseases, everything has to run from the name of Jesus. You have to get that in your mind and understand that the power and the authority you have, even if you're only living one foot in the world and one foot out, you can say in the name of Jesus, and every demon has to run, every sickness has to run, every wall must fall down.
The people shouted, "This is when you get to shout. Shout your victory." and those walls come tumbling down because it's already done. Who fights your battles for you? Christ. He's fighting the battles for you. So when that rapture happens, we come home in our perfect new bodies. We're the bride of Christ. We come in and we are complete in him. and he takes care of the battle down on the earth. And we already know he he sends a small angel to go take care of the devil and and we'll be standing there looking at the devil going that small thing is what bugged us all this time. You get this thinking in your mind where you are, I'm going to walk in the authority that I have. I'm not going to believe what's in the world. I'm going to believe what God has. What a change this does. Look at 1 John 4:4. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome you, conquered, you prevail them because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. Oh, we have this authority and we have the seven spirits of God in us that will teach us and show us how to battle, praise, and worship. the trumpets as a musical instrument went first. Imagine learning the principles of singing a song and praising the Lord and then coming in with the name of Jesus. And remember what he said, I give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Now imagine taking that key and you are applying it here on earth. And what you do here on earth when you're shouting and you have your trumpet blown, you're acting that priest. You have both feet in the Lord. You're not only keeping yourself protected, but you're also interceding on those behind you, but uh around you that couldn't do it for themselves, but they can if they wanted to. But you can intercede on their behalf. And when you do, you can actually see the Holy Spirit move through them. change them, transform them. And you can see how God shows us we are more than conquerors. And all it takes is think differently. Repent, which is think differently. Don't think on the world, think on the Lord. And and it comes with confession, too. Romans 10:9 that if you confess if thou if thou confess if thou shalt confess let me read it correctly which means a covenant or acknowledge with thy mouth the Lord Jesus you're saying all right Lord Jesus I'm confessing that you are Lord over cancer you are Lord over my finance I've taught this many times you are Lord over this body as soon as you start doing that and believe and shalt believe or have faith in thy heart where Their thoughts and feelings are that God has raised or awakened him from the dead. You see, Jesus came out of the grave and he's alive. And a lot of people think, "No, no, no. That man's already dead. He was a good prophet. He did good things." But no, you have to believe that God woke him up, got him out of the grave. So, as you confess Jesus, you're saying, "All right, Jesus. So, you're alive. All right. If this is real, I I'm calling on you. I'm going to be genuine here and I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm going to trust in you because I I have nowhere else to go. I have no what else to I can do. And when you do that, Jesus will show himself to you and be revealed. And look what he says. He says, "Raised him from the dead. Thou shalt be saved." That word saved there means delivered, protected, healed, preserved. That's what God does for you. That's the seven spirits of God. You have that authority. Even if you don't think that you do, if you've called on Jesus, you have his name. You have his authority. These seven spirits, the same spirit that was in Christ that raised Christ from the dead is in you to raise you from the dead. The church of Sardis was alive and dead at the same time. They're walking on this earth, but they're dead because they're not watching. They're not paying attention. They're not acting the name of Jesus. They're not applying it. They're not in scripture. But you still have the authority. You have the authority because God didn't leave you. He's working with you. In fact, the fact that you're listening to this teaching tells me he's working in you. And he brought you to this teaching to encourage you and to lift you up and to let you know he's not forgotten you, that he's not let go of you. You tried to move away from him, but he's been there with you the entire time. And by the way, you know this. You're just being reminded of it. How amazing is it to have God
not leave us? He keeps us. This is what power and authority that we have is to stay in his presence. And every time you spend time in his presence, in his word, just absorbing it and you you try to and you start expressing, you start quoting scripture. I mean, before you know it, you'll be quoting scriptures. I promise you that. But as you do that, you begin to take your authority. You begin to be that priest who's not only taking care of yourself, you're taking care of those around you. And you're on the wall watching and waiting. You're diligent. You're looking what's going on, Lord. You're just watching. You're waiting. You're spending time in the spirit where you are hearing him and he's showing you things in dreams and visions. That's what this is about. Because remember, his plan is still in the works, not about our plan. His plan, he has his perfect thoughts for us. And his will for us is just to believe in him. That's all you you you keep wondering what what's your what what do you want me to do, Lord? He says, I just want you to believe. You know what the word believe means is to have faith. He does say we can have faith even as small as a mustard seed. And with that faith, we can stand in the name of Jesus and walk in that authority. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. Thank you for reminding us of the authority that we have. Thank you for reminding us how to be watchful and diligent. Thank you for reminding us to get both our feet in you. Thank you for reminding us of who you are, what you have done. Thank you for reminding us that we have the ability to walk free of sickness and diseases, free of conflict of of being torn apart. We have your healing and protection around us because you are our deliverer and you have taught us how to be more than conquerors. And I pray, Father God, that we begin walking with the seven spirits of you. That we begin naming the name of Jesus and the authority that we have over our situations and calling out the name of Jesus for you are great and you are greater in than this world. So we acknowledge that. We pull you into our hearts and we want you in here, Father God, walking and changing us and helping us walk in that change, helping us talk to you, helping us have that relationship with you. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. God bless you and I will see you next year. Bye.
