SEVENTEEN
Pastor Marcos Marrero

Objective:
Equip believers to recognize and respond to a God-timed “completion of a spiritual cycle” symbolized by the biblical number 17—moving from bondage to breakthrough. By the end, listeners should (1) understand the scriptural patterns and symbolism behind 17 (7+10; 7th prime), (2) discern the church’s present call to come out of graveclothes like Lazarus—through repentance, deliverance, and praise-warfare, and (3) actively posture themselves for awakening and fruitful service as God restores spiritual order.
Synopsis:
The message begins with praise (“Hallelujah”) and its universality, then turns to the urgency of our times—persecution of believers globally and intense cultural opposition—framing this era as the threshold of an awakening. The central theme is the biblical meaning of numbers, especially 17, presented as the completion of spiritual order (7 = spiritual perfection; 10 = ordinal/perfect order; 17 as the 7th prime intensifies “seven”).
Scripture patterns are traced to show how God “closes cycles” at 17:
Joseph: 17 when his destiny is announced (Gen 37:2) and Jacob lives 17 years in Egypt (Gen 47:28), bookending a providential arc.
Jeremiah: purchases a field for 17 shekels (Jer 32), burying the deed as a prophetic sign that God will restore what seems lost after the exile’s cycle.
Paul catalogues 17 adversities in Romans 8 to declare that nothing can separate us from God’s love—His purpose outlasts every cycle.
This numeric thread widens into a prophetic reading of current history: approximately 17 decades since a nationwide awakening, suggesting the church is at another 17-moment. The speaker shares a night-watch encounter: hearing (by the Spirit) the stone rolling away from the church’s “tomb,” likening today’s church to Lazarus—loved by Jesus, called forth, yet still wrapped in graveclothes of iniquity, bitterness, and control (Mary/Martha motifs). Jesus’ next command—“Loose him”—frames the ministry emphasis: deliverance, soul-tie breaking, inner healing, and removing veils so vision returns.
Further biblical anchors include:
Hebrews 12: contrast between Sinai’s terror (law exposing our need) and Zion’s joy (the church gathered under Jesus’ mediating blood), implying a cycle from fear to sonship.
The Fruit of the Spirit (linked to “the ninth month”) as the character core God is forming as He calls His people out.
153 fish (John 21) as 9 × 17, interpreted as harvest at the end of a completed cycle.
The sermon weaves in a personal testimony of deep cleansing and a vision of dwelling in God’s house—Word, table, presence—as the means of sustaining deliverance. It culminates in praise-warfare (Psalm 149): high praises in our mouths and the two-edged sword in our hands to bind spiritual rulers, executed not in presumption but in purity (“Satan has nothing in me”).
Call to Action: Embrace God’s present timing. Submit to cleansing, renounce hidden iniquity, sever soul ties, devour the Word, and lift high praise. As the “17” clicks into place and the stone rolls back, step out of the grave, get unwrapped, and take your post—ready for awakening, exploits, and the restoration of divine order.
Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above:
Hallelujah. Glorios. Can you imagine? We're that close to actually coming face to face to the throne of God and going out in front of Jesus and say glorios in another language. I mean, we're not going to speak English over there, you know. We're all going to speak Hebrew, the original Hebrew, I guess, that God had. So, we Hallelujah is, by the way, one of the words that was never broken in the original language. Hallelujah means praise ye the Lord. And it was never broken. When the confusion of the tongues came in, every word was broken different languages, but hallelujah is hallelujah in every language. You can go anywhere around the world and everybody says hallelujah. That means praise you the Lord. So that's one word we're going to say in heaven that is now like now. So praise God. Anyway, say with me, I love Jesus. I love Jesus because he first loved me. Because he first loved me. Come Lord Jesus now. Come Lord Jesus now. And make me free. Make me free. Amen. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. I'm going to be talking about a a subject of numbers tonight. But before we start, I want to just share a little bit uh to the roots as to why I wrote this and what's going on. I don't know if you watched the news yesterday, but uh this uh Muslim holiday they had called Ramadan. I think it was Indonesia or one of those places where there's a lot of Muslims over there. These guys wanted to do a big something for their god. And so they went out and found themselves three Christian girls. And of course they beheaded them. And then they took their heads and they put a piece of paper said we need 97 more. They want to offer to their God, you know, an offering of mercy to their God. They wanted 97 more Christian that that they want to find out where there was 97 more Christians so they could go and cut their heads and and so this is the spirit that we're going against. You know, we think that because we live here on this comfort and and things uh people like us are dying all over the place. You know, we're living on on the end times. Anyway, the root of these messages was on uh October 18. That was last month. That night before the the seventh thing before I went to bed, I was doing research. I was looking for the awakenings. You know, the the Lord just put that word in my heart. So it comes out that in 1730 to about 1760 there was a great awakening taking place. It was in Europe, it was in Germany, it was in England. It came to the United States. And for about a generation, 30 40 years there was the greatest revival. That's when um uh uh different preachers were preaching and they were preaching about hell, fire, and brimstone. In other words, the judgment of God. Uh and so there was I mean by awakening means he had an impact. All of the colonies back then there was just people turning away from their sins and everything. And this ended at about 1760 right before the birth of our nation. So this nation was birthed out of a revival. When they declare independence in 1776, all of those people have lived through a whole generation of an awakening because I believe the United States of America has an has a destiny. God has a destiny for this nation. And the devil has tried so hard to steal or to destroy the destiny of this nation. You know in Europe only about 10% of the people over there go to church once a month less than 10%. And and that used to be a hot bed of Christianity. Most of the awakenings began over there and came to this place. Now the United States they had focused in the last 50 60 years the the devil behind the academia the liberals the thinkers and they have tried they done everything in the world they can to destroy the faith of the people. You know if you go to college you send your kids to college the very first thing the professor is going to do is going to find out where that young man or woman is at their faith and they they're they have a package that they will destroy their faith before you know the semester is over. This is their their angle. And so they have raised a generation expecting that the young people of this nation will be destroyed. That's why there's so much drug and stuff like that. But no matter what they do, even the kids as they get older, we turn to God. We keep turning to God. We keep turning to God. No matter what they do, we keep turning to God. And that's because there is a destiny on this nation. uh uh the the American uh uh uh children are born and embra in them there is a destiny. This nation has a destiny. A destiny with with God. Then the second awakening began I think in 18 1800s to the 1830s I think it was. And this was another a generation to where great changes came. And this was an American driven awakening. And so as I was um uh laying there, I woke up at three o'clock in the morning. The Lord woke me up. My mom was staying with us and she was downstairs. So I didn't want to go downstairs to pray because it might spook my mom, you know, she's just been there for a couple of days. And so I I I decided to stay in the bed as I'm laying there and I'm thinking about this and the Lord showed me there had been 17 decades or 170 years 1830 the 1830s it was when the last awakening that had a national impact. In other words the whole nation was moved by this revival by this awakening. So it had been like 17 decades or 170 years since we had a major awakening here. You know how many people have come and gone in those 170 years. And as I'm meditating on that, the number 17, uh 70 years, 17 decades, uh the Lord says to me, I mean, just as clear as bell, he said, "If you just listen carefully, he said, you can hear the stone that has been placed over the tomb of where my church has been buried for this 170 years." He says, "Right now, even as you're laying here, if you listen carefully, you'll hear the stone being rolled away out of the cave." And of course, the reference was to Lazarus. Lazarus was dead. He was dead for uh two days. They told Jesus, Jesus per purposely stay back two days. He wanted to make sure that when he got there, Lazarus has been dead for a long time. Okay? So, and Lazarus was buried in the cave and the Lord Jesus all of a sudden gave me this revelation. Lazarus represents my church. My church has been wrapped in the bonds of iniquity. See 17 is also the number of iniquity in in as you'll see on the lesson there are 17 works of the flesh listed in Galatians chapter 5 and in 2 Timothy chapter 3. So the church and you know isn't it amazing that just a few days after that this came out this pastor with a 14,000 member church that had iniquity in him that he had never dealt with and the devil was able to push it out. So anyway, the the revelation was the Lord showed me that the church was like Lazarus being in the grave and two days that Jesus purposely stayed back. Uh it it it represented this 2,000 years of this two days. And so Jesus came into the tomb. Mary and Martha were crying and and and he said, "Roll away the stone." And the Lord said, "Right now, October 18." It was in the morning. So it was already next day, October 18, the stone is being rolled back. And then he says in November, which in the Hebrew is the ninth month, nine is the fruit of the spirit. God spoke to me as soon as November begins or the the ninth month begin, you're going to hear me call out to my church and says, "Church, come forth." And then he gave me the picture that as the church is coming forth out of this grave which he has been bound behind these locked doors, the first thing that Jesus did, he told the people that were standing around him, he said, "Take off his grave clothes. Remove the veil that is over his face." So you see this this is a veil that's in the church today that they can't really see and these bones of iniquities wrap around. So anyway, I got so excited I called Fred and I told him uh uh the vision that the Lord had given me. So as soon as the new month began, the ninth month, Wednesday, November 1, we came over here and Vicki and Fred and I was sit right up in there and we began to just pray, praise, praise God, praise God. Lord, if you're calling us out, here we are, Lord. We want to hear, we want to hear you calling out. We want to hear you calling us out. And we began to prophesy right here in the middle of of of the church. We began to speak and we ended up with Psalm 149 where it says that God has given his church the double-edged sword to execute judgment upon the nations and upon the kings to bind them with feathers. And so we begin to do that. Hey, you know, the Lord gives me something. I know that he's being faithful. He's been preaching over here. And I said, we're going to begin right here now. So the message that I'm going to bring now is as as the Lord showed me that number 17, I began to look up everything that had to do with the number 17 because I've always uh uh felt the number 17 just have to do with the works of the flesh. But the Lord gave me a neat revelation and that's what I'm going to share with you tonight. Amen. So, uh, everybody has a handout and then we're going to begin with the meaning, the biblical meaning of number 17. And then I go, it's been about a 170 years or 17 decades since the last spiritual awakening took place in the United States of America. Now, the first thing to learn about the number 17 is the number 17 is a prime number. As you know, there's there are numbers that that are indivisible. That's what a prime number is. You cannot divide one. You cannot divide three. You cannot divide five. You cannot divide seven. You cannot divide 13. And you cannot divide 17. And there's more num more numbers that go on. But if you notice, I have in the list over there. These are all prime numbers. 1 3 5 7. The number 13 thing is what? The sixth prime number. And what is the number 13 means to you? If I say the number 13, everybody always thinks about bad when it comes to number 13. The number of the devil uh you know uh Friday the 13th, you know, in Cuba in Cuba is Tuesday the 13th. So somebody got screwed up someplace over there. But but you know the 13 is the point. Okay. 13. There were 13 people in the last supper. And you know what happened? Judas hung himself and they crucified Jesus. So the the number 13 is not good. And why is it? Because number six is a number of men. Six is a number of men. So the prime number the six prime number which is 13 multiplies or increases or it magnify the number of men. And that's why 13 has such a bad connotation to it. Well, if the number 13 because it is a sixp prime number has such a magnification of the meaning of of of of the number six, then what about number 17 since it is the seventh prime number. And as you know, seven is the number of spiritual perfection. Seven is a number of the church. Seven is the number of completion. You're in the seven, you're in good hands. Okay? The six fall short. Six is man. We fall short to the glory of God. But by the grace of God, when we accept his forgiveness, we come into seven. Seven is the the the millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ, the last day of his reign, the year uh the thousand years reign of Christ. So then um I explained the number 13 being the the sixth number. So in the same manner, number 17 being the seventh prime number, it also partakes of intensifies the significance of the number seven and its meanings throughout the scripture. First, the number 17 is a combination or the sum of two perfect numbers, seven and 10. So, in order for you to have 17, you got to have a seven and you have a 10. Now, seven is the number that speaks of spiritual perfection. That's why the church uh seven churches, this is why there are the seven spirits of God in Revelation chapter 4. Uh seven always uh was a day of rest. God created everything on six days and on the seven days he rested. So spiritual perfection is spoken of by the number seven. 10 speaks of ordinal perfection. The order, in other words, all of the numbers in the world, I don't care how many billions you can count to are a combination of 10 numbers. You have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and 10, which is one and zero. And then all of these numbers complete everything else with those are the basic numbers which that's why it's called perfect order or ordinal perfection. For example, you can preach the gospel by the way with the numbers. One is God who created everything. How this guy created everything? He took out of himself breath and he breathed it into something. So he separated himself too. Now when God created Adam, he breathed into him. He made a lump of of clay and then he breathed into him. He became a living soul. Now how the atom multiply? God took out of Adam a ri separated. That's the same thing. What God did in the spirit into the physical, the physical dozen into the physical. That's what number two symbolizes. Separation for the purpose of bringing back together again. You look at Hebrews 4:12. The word of God I is lifegiving energy that is able to divide us under or separate between soul and spirit between joints and marrow between u uh uh uh attitudes and intents of the heart. The same word in in in Hebrews 2:4 speaks about the gift of the Holy Spirit. So God every time he take takes you into a place of separation he cleans you out and he puts you back together and you give forth fruit. You give birth to something. Every time God separates you or cuts you aunder or brings you into separation, that is a principle that is spoken in the numbers. God separates and then when they come together, what happened when Adam and Eve uh came together? They brought fruit which is a number three. Three always speaks of fruit uh uh uh uh the unity of God, the unity of men. Four speaks of God put this new thing that he created on a physical environment. That's why you have the four corners, the four winds, uh the four directions of the compass. Four always speaks of the physical creation. In other words, God who is spirit and is unlimited breathe into something that he created out of the physical. Then that physical became a living soul. Then out of him he took a woman, separated the two. Then he brought them together. Then they brought him fruit. And then he put that fruit in the garden. Number four. And so God. So then five, the number five means the breath of God. The word of God Isaiah says that the word, my word, God says does not return to me void. I send it forth and like the snow that falls in the mountain comes back and brings it accomplishes the purpose for which I send it. Well, this physical creation is sustained by the words of God, by the breath of God, by the blessings of God. Uh I think Paul puts it in one of the the letters to where in him Jesus we live and move and have our existence. Why? Because he's the bread that sustain even today everything is following the breath or the command of God. God said let there be evening and morning. Let this be uh be fruitful and multiply. Everything that God spoke is still doing what God said to do. That's what five symbolizes. And then the number six symbolizes that God put a time limit. That's why six is a number of men because six is a number of time. We're limited by time. See, we're not going to live in this dimension forever. After the thousand years, we're going to be here on the earth. God is going to remurnish the earth and we're going to be with him for a thousand years here. But there's still going to be sun and moon and day and night. We will have new bodies. we won't have to eat, but there's still people that God will be dealing with here in the earth that will will uh will still have to be saved. Those are the ones that are going to be born after the tribulation. But at the end of the thousand years, God is going to melt all of the elements. Peter says all of the elements of God are going to be melted and a new earth is going to be made. And this new earth, there's not going to be no ocean. There's not going to be no sun, no moon. That's eternity forever. That's when we go into a different eternity uh with God. So six always speaks of the limitation. We are limited. Our in other words, we're not going to go forever like this. It began there's a first generation and there's a last generation. Jesus says this generation shall not pass away in in Matthew 24 until all of the things be fulfilled. So there's there was a first generation with Adam and Eve. There's a generation that's going to end. And I believe we're living in that generation. And we're the 144th generation. That's why there's 144 seal in in Revelation chapter 7 because each each uh 12,000 that are sealed comes up to 144 symbolizing this is the generation that I marked before entering into the day of rest. Now seven is when we go into the kingdom age and that's when we're going to the age of rest just like it was during before uh before the Noah's flood. God is going to rechange the earth that Isaiah tells us that in the kingdom age people that died a hundred years old will be like a mere infant dying. There's going to be people's going to live a thousand years. This is human, not us. We will have our new glorified bodies. This is the people that going to be living because there's a few people that are going to survive the great tribulation and the Jews which uh are hidden in the caves and then they'll come out. They will they'll repopulate the earth. And the reason why I think the Lord did that because Satan is going to be bound for a thousand years and at the end of the thousand years he's let loose. The way that I can phantom that is that God has like a trial going on for this last 6,000 years. Everything is challenged like we're in a court. Let's say that I'm there on the court and there's Satan who is the prosecutor and here's Jesus who's my defense attorney. And here's God who is the judge of the earth and who has to abide by the law by his word. And Satan comes in and he accuses me continuously and says, "God, Marcos deserves to die." Okay? And then Jesus on the other side says, "Don't listen to that bomb over there. I've already paid for all of his sin and he has accepted me and he's got you covered." Right? So during this 6,000 years, that's what's been going on. You can see it in Job when when Satan goes before God and says, "What is he up to?" And and you can see God gives us a peak into what's going on into the spiritual. Well, at the end of the thousand years, it's like when you come to the trial, the end of the trial, all of the evidence is presented and now comes the closing arguments. Did you know that you cannot challenge a closing argument? When it comes time for the defense attorney to get up in there, he can speak all he wants to. The other guy have to shut up. He can't say nothing. You are going to have a closing. This a thousand years is God's closing argument where God says this is what the earth would have been b like if Satan would not would not have been around because he's going to be bound for a thousand years and there's not going to be no crime. There's not going to be no pain. There's not going to be no sorrow. There's not going to be no death. The lion is going to lay down with the lamb and the kids are going to play with snakes and the snakes are not going to bite him. There's not going to be no poison. Why? because Satan is a poison. And so at the end of the thousand years, God already has enough to convict him and all of his angels. Then they get loose and then that's when God deals with him finally. Okay? So that's what number seven. Now number eight is the number of new beginnings. In other words, the present reality is done away with. Now number eight can be good and can be bad because a new beginning depends on what you're beginning. If you're sitting for 40 years in jail and you begin that first day, that's a new beginning. But that's not a very new, very good beginning. Okay? Those people that are going to hell at the end of that seven when God judges them, they begin their eighth day in hell, that's not a good beginning. So, it's a new beginning, but it could be good, it could be bad. But for us, it's good because a new beginning leads us into the nine. Nine is the completion of the fruit, the completion of the harvest. when we come in into that uh that place that we come to. Now 10 then becomes a combination of God who is one and us where are the zeros and you see a zero for us has no value. But in the Hebrew the the the nothing has a great deal of value. They they think as a zero of something very valuable in the mindset not in in in the way that we think that that zero means nothing. You see uh if God is one right and I'm a zero and I come and I bow down to God and I said Lord you are my God and you're my savior what what did I just do? What happen when you add a zero to a one becomes a 10. I just magnify God. See the Bible said to magnify God means add value to him or increase. God is a farmer. God is a businessman. God is in the business of of increase. He's on the business of magnifying himself. That's what he did. He blew into into Adam. Adam. And now there were two. Then he took out of Adam. Now there were two. Then they came together. Now there were three. There were four. There were five. See, when I got saved, I added a zero to God. And then my wife got saved too. So we added two zeros to God. So God went from one to 10 to 100. Then we gave our kids to the Lord. Now we were 10,000. Now our kids are are married and have kids. And so look at just on us. Now during the day of Pentecost, there were 120 zeros in the upper room. And then all of a sudden the Holy Spirit came aligned them. And look what that 120 I mean out to the one 120 zeros. And how big is that? That's why God was able to change the whole world because that's God is in the business of multiplication. Now I believe without a doubt a shadow of a doubt in my heart because God moves through times and through doors and he has bound himself by precepts that he has decreed. And see, we're limited to our 70 years span, but God works through generations. And what I want to show you here tonight is that we're living right now and the door. We have come to our 17. We have come to our completion. Okay. Now, let's let's go through the scriptures here. First I want you to see that when you put the meaning of the spiritual of seven which means spiritual perfection and the meaning of the 10 which means ordinal perfection then what we have is perfection or the completion of spiritual order right before the scripture of Galatian the 10 and the seven means if you were to to take their meanings mean the perfection of spiritual order or the completion or spiritual order. In other words, God has an order set up and until that order is not completed, he's not going to move. You see, that's what it means there. Just like you have 17 works in the flesh in Galatians and 17 works in the flesh, you cannot be delivered until you go through all 17 of them. When you go through all 17 of them, you completed the cleanup. You you 17 meaning you got them all out. If you go into your tank and and you got five, you got seven, you got 10, you're still not done. You need to get through all of them. 17. That's what 17 mean. When the spirit cycle comes to completion. Now, let's go to the Bible and see this through the Bible. In Genesis 37:2, it says that Joseph being 17 years old. Now, Joseph just had a dream. God tells Joseph, "You are going to rule." The one of the dreams was that uh he saw the moon and the sun and and and and the 12 stars bowing to his feet. And immediately they all knew Jacob was a dream interpreter. He knew exactly what it meant. You know what it meant? It means that Jacob and his wife and and his 11 brothers were going to be bowing down to Joseph. And boy, they didn't like it. Joseph was a little snotty kid. you know, the the favor of his dad because he was born on his dad's old age. His dad made him a coat of many colors and everywhere Joseph went, he was saying to the rest of the kids, I'm better than you. I'm better than you. I'm better than you. So, he was 17 years old when that dream came and before his next birthday, he was sold to Egypt as a slave. And they told his dad that a wild animal had eaten him up and they brought him the coat of many colors with plot on it. Now I want you to see the closing of the cycle. The next scripture is Genesis 47:28. And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt 17 years. See how the number how God puts number to bring us up in there. Joseph was 17 years old when he was taken to Egypt. He through many trials and tribulation eventually became the number two man in Egypt for Pharaoh. There was a famine on the land. And guess what? all of the world that time was saved because Joseph interpreted the dream while he was in jail. By the way, falsely accused. He was falsely accused of rape. A woman that wanted to have sex with him and he wouldn't have it. And uh and so she falsely accused him. He's in jail. He gets a dream and and and uh and Pharaoh has a dream. They find out that Joseph can interpret it. He says that means you're going to have seven years of prosperity. Seven number of completion. remember spiritual completion and sever seven years of famine. So he tell Pharaoh what God is saying is you better save as much grain as you can because of seven years nothing's going to grow. So God says okay I'll put you in charge. So he goes up in there he buys every grain in the world that they can. Seven years later they have barns so full of stuff that all the world is dying because there's a famine. It's not raining anywhere but Egypt has grain. And so what happens? Uh uh Joseph's brothers had to go to Egypt to buy grain. They don't recognize him and winds up to where they all had to bow down to him because he's a number two guy. I mean, he's got all the power in Egypt except for Pharaoh. And Pharaoh is too busy bathing on the river and having his thing. He's running the business. And so the dream is fulfilled. And now we're told that when this began, Joseph was 17 years old. Why? 17 is the completion of a spiritual order. And when Joseph is about to die, he calls uh I mean Jacob is about to die. He says, "Son, swear to me that you will not bury me on this place. Bury me where Abraham and and my mom are buried." And he says, "Yeah." And he says that he was 17 years old. Why? Because it's a closing of a cycle. Now, it still took another 400 years before they came out of Egypt. But I want you to see here that God puts an emphasis on the number 17 because 17 means the beginning and the ending of a spiritual cycle. And every time, see, you have a combination. If I have a lock and a combination, you have three or four keys there. And you have to turn this on this way. In the inside, there's a mechanism that opens. Then you got to go the other way. You got to find the number. You got to bring it there. Now you got two that are line up. Then you go back, turn the other one. Now you got three that all line up. And when all four or five or whatever combinations is in that lock are all line up, you can turn the handle and it opens. That's how the spirit realm work. You can have one cycle, but it's not all of them have to be lined up. When you have a number 17 in the Bible, it's telling you, I got it all lined up. Just turn the handle and open. I got it open. That's what it means. And that's why God said that Joseph was 17 when this began and Jacob was 17 years when he died. It'll be 17 years in Egypt. So when there is a completion manifested by the number 17, that means that God is restoring order. That's why I believe that after 170 years of God bringing a great awakening to this nation. It's time for God to restore order. Don't you think God needs to restore order on this nation? And don't you think it's begun right now? I mean look how much sin has been exposed from politicians and from church and this is nothing. This is just the beginning of what's coming up. So now here's another cycle. The city of Jerusalem is about to fall to the invading armies and God tells Jeremiah the prophet to buy a field for 17 shekels of silver and to bury the deed in the ground as a witness that when the cycle is completed, they will return to the land. Now this is funny. When I was reading this, this is funny. And the Jews um uh inherit the land. You know, depending to what tribe you were, you were given a land. The land was divided, subdivided, and subdivided. So, if you're from certain tribe, this is your lot. And by law, it's yours for eternity. It will always be your family line. That's why Ahab uh and Jezebel kid killed the guy because he wanted his palace was next door to neighbor's vineyard and and he said I can't sell you this. This is my this is for my entire eternity. I can't give this up. See, you could sold it but only for 50 years. When the year of Jubilee was gone, they had to give you the land back. So Jeremiah is in prison in the palace. The city of Jerusalem is surrounded by the Nebuchaness army. And God says to Jeremiah, you know, your cousin, that cheater uncle that you have, you know, he's his his son, okay? He's going to try to hustle you. He's going to come in and he's going to try to sell you the land because it's part of your inheritance. He going to try to sell it to you because he knows that the Babylonians are going to take over everything. So, he wants some money for it. He said, "Buy it from him." And Jeremiah says to God, "Are you crazy, God? I mean, you just I've been I'm in jail because I've been prophesying that you're kicking us out of the land and that you're wiping us out because of our sin and you want me to buy the land." That's just like God revealing to you there's going to be a huge earthquake and it's going to destroy this. And God says, "Buy it." Let's read the scripture. I mean, this is funny. It says Jeremiah 32:9-11 says, "So I bought the field from Hanel, the son of my uncle who was in Anapos, and I waited out to him the money, 17 shekels of s silver, and I signed the deed and I sealed it. He took witnesses and I waited the money on the scales." In other words, he went and bought it. Now once Jeremiah invests this money, it's just like somebody trying to sell you Frontline Ocean property in Arizona, you know, or or the Brooklyn Bridge, something like that. This is what the deal was like. God says he's going to hustle you, but I want you to buy this land even though the Babylonians are going to take it over. And then look what God told Jeremiah to do once he got the deal in Jeremiah 32:14-15. He said, "Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, take these deeds, both this purchase which is sealed, and this deed which is open, and put them in an earththing vessel, that they may last many days. For thus sayeth the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again on this land." You know what God was saying? He's saying, Jeremiah, I want you to take the deed. See, what they did is they had a sealed deed. That's when they roll it in a scroll and they put a stamp on it and they have one open so people could see what was on the one that was sealed up in there. He says, "I want you to take a jar back in those clay pots where the uh uh uh kuman uh caves they had where where the uh those scrolls were found." Anyway, he says, "I want you to put them in front of everybody. I want you to dig up a hole and I want you to bury it in the land because thus says the Lord God of hosts one day you people I mean we're talking about Nebuchadnezzar an army that's destroyed and conquered everybody all nations that that fall under they get scattered they're they lose their heritage they lose everything but God says I swear right now in front of everybody that I'm beginning a cycle see what God had to do the Jews were were told to give the land a rest every seventh year. It's called a sabbatical. You were you could not work on the seventh year. I'd like to have that. I'd like to have a whole year off every six years. That would be great. You know that that would be nice, wouldn't it? I mean, that would be a great vacation, a whole year of vacation. But, but anyway, they were supposed to do that. And so, they didn't do it for a whole bunch of time. 490 years. So what God did is in 490 years there are 70 years of Sabbath. So God says I'm taking you guys out of the land and I'm giving my land 70 years of rest. That's one of the things that Jeremiah prophesied. But God says I want you to pay 17 shekels of silver for this land. I want you to put on a deed that says 17. Why? Because 17 speaks of a cycle. And God sa
