WHICH SIDE OF BELIEF ARE YOU ON?

Minister Lisa Kane

September 9, 2023

Lisa Kane begins the message in Mark 5, where Jesus raises Jairus’ daughter from the dead despite ridicule and unbelief from the surrounding crowd. She contrasts those who mocked Jesus with those who trusted Him, showing how belief determines outcomes. Drawing parallels to Israel’s unbelief in the wilderness (Psalm 106), she illustrates how misplaced desire and complaining led to forfeited blessings and lost opportunities.

The teaching emphasizes that unbelief has consequences, while faith allows access to God’s promises. Lisa explains how Jesus intentionally surrounded Himself with disciples who believed when performing miracles, highlighting that our level of faith affects the breakthroughs we experience. The message also explores Mark 9, where a desperate father admits both belief and unbelief, showing that honest dependence on Jesus can invite His help to strengthen our faith.

Throughout, Lisa reminds believers that miracles are not only biblical history but present realities, urging them to build faith through Scripture, prayer in the Holy Spirit, and testimonies of God’s works. She stresses that confession of Jesus’ Lordship brings salvation, deliverance, healing, and victory over sickness and bondage. The message concludes with a call to unlearn worldly limitations, embrace trust in Christ, and boldly step into the authority God has given His children—choosing the side of active belief rather than unbelief.

Objective:

The purpose of this message is to challenge listeners to examine where their faith truly stands—whether rooted in the physical and limited by doubt, or anchored in the spiritual with trust in God’s power. The teaching aims to strengthen believers’ understanding of how unbelief hinders God’s miracles, while faith opens the door to His supernatural works. It encourages self-reflection, prayer, and reliance on the Word of God to grow from doubt into strong, active belief.

Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this on Saturday, September 9th, 2023. Welcome. This message is called Which Side of Belief Are You On? Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. Lord, let your word not return void, but let it bring in the harvest. Let people hear and see, receive and believe and live your word in the glorious, absolutely wonderful name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture here. We're going to start off in Mark 5:40. And they ridiculed him. But when he had put them all outside, he took the father and the mother of the child and those who were with him and entered where the child was lying. Okay. So what I want to do is I want to show you a point of view of do you see things with your eyes in the physical? Do you see things with your eyes in the spiritual? And as you can see here, this group of people, we're going to be delving into this event that happened where Jesus raises this little girl from the dead. Uh they ridiculed him. They didn't believe him. But you got to ask yourself why. You know, you know, they should have believed too because if you go back, I mean, even at their time when Elisha was buried and they another man had died and they put his bones on top of Elisha's bones, that man came alive. And the only reason I I laugh is because there's a story and I'm going to digress and share this little quick story with you and then we'll delve right into the scripture here. But a man and his wife and his mother-in-law went to Israel for a holiday. And uh the mother-in-law passes away while in Israel. And uh the coroner says, "Well, we can ship her back to the States for $5,000 or we can bury her here for $200." And he says, "Okay, we'll ship her back." And he's like, "Well, wait a minute. You're in the Holy Land. This is the Holy Land, you know." And he's like, "Yeah, yeah, I know." He says, "We'll ship her back." And he's like, "Mask? Why?" He says, "Oh, man. You bury her here, she might come back from the dead like Jesus and the bones of Elisha or the the person that was put on the bones of Elisha. Anyways, he didn't want to risk it. I just thought that was funny because it's just so applicable to what we were talking about today. So, he believed obviously and and you know there you know it's a matter of what you believe in and where your eyes are, you know. So, what I'm going to do with this teaching is try to get you to look beyond the physical and see what Jesus can do before you decide to ridicule him like this group of people, you know. And and another thing I really want you to see here is I want you to understand what the consequences of the lack of your belief is. Look at here. The Israelites in Psalm 106:24-25. Then they despised the pleasant land. They did not believe his word, but complained in their tents and did not heed the voice of the Lord. If you go look at the Israelites testimony, they were in the wilderness for 40 years. Everyone 21 years or 18 years, I think it's 21 years and younger enter the promised land. Anyone older did not. And it was because of this. They had mana, food, angel food from heaven given to them. And they were wanting their onions back from the Egyptians when they were in bondage. And because their want and their desire was on the past and they were looking back at their bondage but only seeing what they thought was good. They weren't looking at the good in the moment. Look at the consequence. They despised. Did you see this? They despised the pleasant land that they were going to be going. So they never did get to it. They never entered it. Why give it to them if you're going to complain about it? So they got their wish. So here again, I'm trying to show you where your eyes are so we can get the heart right with God. Amen. So let's go look at Mark 5. Let's look at the whole thing in context. And you know, let me do a refreshing reminder here before we delve even deeper into this. Judge my teaching. Yes, you heard me correctly. Let me repeat that. judge my teaching. You have a responsibility to test what you hear as a believer in Christ or even as an unbeliever. You have to sit there and know what you're hearing. Does it sound right? Is it within context? Is there truth to it? Does it make you feel something on the inside? And if you're struggling with any of that or or this just does not appeal to you, whatever, you need to take it to God. You need to say there's something wrong with her teaching or you need to say what's wrong with me, Lord, and I can't understand her. Maybe you should do both. And then the third is uh you know what, sometimes the teaching is really good, Lord. Hey, that was a great teaching. And then pray for the ministers. You need to be praying for us. all of us ministers, teachers, leaders that that uh share the word of God. You need to be sharing. You need to be praying for each and every one of us. So, get in there and pray. Seriously, get in there and pray. That doesn't mean you come and harass me after you've determined I made a mistake. No, what you do is you go to God. I promise you, he will show me. And if you take a look at all of my past uh teachings and and I've misqued Joel 2:32. I was quoting it as Joel 21:13 I think for a long time there or at least a few messages and the Lord showed me and I got it corrected but I'm not going to go back and correct a past teaching the context is still really good I'm not or the content is still really good so please understand teachers ministers leaders we grow and as we grow we learn more from the word of God so pray for us I haven't done one of those reminders in quite a while okay let's go look at this Jesus raises this little girl from the dead. Okay, so Mark 5:36, as soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, okay, so pause here for a minute. Give you a little background. The ruler of the synagogue knew his daughter was sick. So he goes running to Jesus. He heard about Jesus. He heard he was healing the sick. He decides to run after him, try to get his attention. He He's Jesus is surrounded by a huge crowd. I mean, they're thronging him big time and he's trying to get through. In the meanwhile, people from his household came and said, "Hey, don't bother the master. Don't even talk to him anymore. Your daughter is dead." Jesus heard that, and this is where he is. As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he said to the ruler of the synagogue, "Do not be afraid. Only believe." Pause. Only believe. So, how do you believe in something? Now here this ruler of the synagogue had heard about Jesus and knew something was up. Now uh just to kind of give you a quick view of what she is uh raised from the dead. So obviously he believed Jesus can't perform miracles when the lack of belief is there. You can go look that up in all the gospels in his hometown. Uh even in this place where he is right now in this whole Mark chapter five area. He is he he cast out that demon, the legions and he um the people got so scared when he went across to the other side and when he got over there they heard about what happened here and they told him you need to leave. So they got scared and their lack of um their lack of belief their unbelief is what prevented them from having miracles. But as soon as he got back to the other side, here he is now raising this little girl from the dead. He's going to heal the woman with the issue of blood uh that she had for 12 years. This girl that he raises from the dead is 12 years old. The the significant of the number 12 plays a huge role in here. I'm not delving into the teaching of the numbers here. My dad has taught on that and there's teachings uh in House of Faith Ministries or you can find it from other uh ministers out there. But here he's telling this ruler of the synagogue, don't be afraid, only believe. So here, this ruler of the synagogue hears him and sum things up. So let's continue on with this event. And he prevented no one to follow him except Peter, James, and John, the brother of James. Now, why would he only take so many of his disciples? Every person has a level of belief. You know, if you go look at uh Thomas after Jesus was raised from the dead, he didn't want to believe till he could put his fingers into the holes and the side of Jesus. He doubted. So notice, you know, you don't see Jesus grabbing him. He's getting the ones he knows believes. So now he's gathering a group of people who are believers in raising someone from the dead because he needs that to raise this. By the way, Jesus can raise anyone from the dead any which way. But he's trying to teach his disciples and any minister of the word of God where we could perform these miracles and get them up from the grave. He's trying to show us how to do it because we're not God. We're not Jesus. We don't say let there be light and there's light. We can't do that. We have limitations. Jesus doesn't. But he's showing us in the limitations how to get beyond the limitations. And here you can clearly see he's bringing believers around. In verse 38, then he came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue who and saw a tumult and those who wept and wailed loudly. Now, this still goes on today, but in the Middle East, when someone passes away, it becomes a huge to-do. In fact, they have professional whalers. You can hire someone to come in and whail at your house when you pass away. This is something that they do out there. Well, Jesus walks into this with his group of people that he brought with him. And when he came in, he said to them, "Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping." And look at this. and they ridiculed him. They didn't believe. So now Jesus is coming into this state of unbelief. How many ministers are you're teaching the word of God and you've you're trying to teach something spiritual that you your level of belief is way up here but the person listening their level of belief is way down here. It becomes challenging. But look what Jesus did. He said, "But when he had put them all outside, so he took all those unbelievers, sent them outside, says, "You go out here, you know, and he he's taking control of the situation." So he's grabbed the father, the mother, the of the child and those who were with him, those are the disciples that he selected and entered where the child was lying. That was our opening scripture. Then he says he then he took the child by the hand and said to her to Lethkakumi which is translated little girl I say to you arise. Immediately the girl arose and walked for she was 12 years of age and they were overcome with great amazement. Now not everyone responds the same way and I really want to point this out here while we're here. So take a look at the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the Herodians. They saw the same miracles as these people did and they thought he was filled with a demon, a devil, be elabub. So, everybody has their own opinions and what have you. But where's your belief? Because now I'm going to ask you a very personal question. Do you believe that someone could be raised from the dead? You might be thinking, "Well, that might have been done in the past. It might have been done in the Bible, but they can't do it anymore today. I promise you, those miracles are still happening. You're just not hearing them. You're not seeing them. You're not looking in the right place. But I will tell you this, it starts with you trusting in God. It does start with trust. How do you get to this point where your level of belief can change? Because that's what you need to look at now. Are you are you going to continue to believe that no one could be raised from the dead? That's a very good question. You have to realize some point in your life, you heard these things. They have to be real. Somewhere along the road of life, you've got to realize this could happen in my lifetime. Maybe I could raise someone from the dead. You know, as a believer in Christ, when you start to walk with God, I mean, Peter walked on water with Jesus.

I know I've tried walking on water. By the way, I failed every single time. But that doesn't mean my level of belief says I can't. I know someday maybe I can. Even uh Martha when he raised Lazarus from the dead. I know we'll all be together in our kingdom at the end here. And he's like, but you got to believe here and now. And you can see even I have my limitation. So how do we get our belief to go from here to here in the now? So let's continue on. Let's look at another event here. Mark 9 uh 21- 27. So we're further along in the book of Mark. So he asked his father, "How long has this been happening to him?" That's Jesus talking. The father brings a child over to him. And this child is convulsing. The body is thrown into fire. The body is thrown into water. They have to pull him out to save him. Otherwise, this demon that he's possessed with is going to try is trying to kill him. And it's a deaf and dumb mute type of demon. So Jesus is asking the father, "How long has this been happening?" And he said, "Well, from childhood and often he has thrown him both into the fire, into the water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us." Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." I'm gonna pause there before we finish the event of this um casting of this demon. All things are possible if you believe. If you believe you can fly, all things are possible. It's what Jesus said.

Where's your belief? And I'm gonna tell you right now, all of us are hesitating because how far can I take that belief? Sure, I believe eternity. I'm saved. I'm a Christian. He's got me. He's getting me to heaven. But what can I believe in now today that wow will take us to whole new heights and levels. All things are possible to him who believes. Now let's look at what Jesus does here. Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, "Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief." Well, there's an oxymoron, right? You know, a contradictory statement. I believe and then help me with my unbelief. In other words, he's saying, "Listen, I went to you. I found you because I heard you're the one who can raise people from the dead. I heard you're the one who can cast out demons and you've been doing it all this time. So, I believe." But then he's also saying, "I haven't seen it personally and I really truly don't know, but I'm asking you to help me with my unbelief." Oh, so now you look at this belief and unbelief situation. This man literally identified himself in the very moment I'm talking about here. So your eyes on the heavenly things where you see spiritual things or are you like it looking in the physical? My car is broken down. It's going to take weeks. I have to get the money for it. I have to do this. But do you believe that it can be fixed now? Or do you believe it's not even broken? You know, when my family moved from um really southern part of uh California, the Wilmington area over there, and they moved to the uh Riverside area, the night of the day, the late afternoon is the last man leaving, my father. He shares his testimony. Car would not start and then he would get it to go. He'd be able to go um you know, a few hundred feet or so. it would break down. It was like something was just keeping him back from leaving. So he knew, he was praying. He kept turning it on, kept going, got onto the freeway. Once he passed the LA County line, car ran fine. There was nothing wrong with the car. Do you believe? Where's your belief? Where's your unbelief? For that matter, do you ask Jesus to help you with your unbelief? That's very important here. This man is saying, "Okay, I need you to fix my son. I am seeing my son go through this torment and I do not want him to go through that because he is my son. I want him saved. He We've had to take extreme measures to take care of him. But you're here because I heard. So, I'm believing and yet I'm asking you to help me with my unbelief." Where do you stand with Jesus? Do you talk to him? Because I'm going to tell you right now, you don't see him. You can't see him. But the moment you talk to him, you're talking in faith to a being that you don't even know for sure exists until you start talking. And then when you see him move in your life, you're like, man, he's real. And your level of belief goes up and up. So let's continue on. So when Jesus saw that the people came running together, so now he's got a huge crowd coming up here. He's, you know, going to cast out this demon. this crowd's coming. He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, "Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him, and enter him no more." Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, "He is dead." Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose. So the demon came out of him. The child is now clean. Now, I'm going to add an element here that I want you to see. So, with the girl that he rose from the dead, Elisha was rose, excuse me, Lazarus was rose from the dead. The bones that were laid on Elash, Elisha was rose from the dead. When Jesus came rose from the dead and the graves opened, according to Matthew, a lot of graves open, a lot of people came out of the dead. Every single one of these people had to die again

because everybody's appointed to die at least once. Hebrews 9:27. So because everybody has to die again. We have to come to the realization of the power and the authority that Jesus has and others. I've seen others raise people from the dead. I've seen it on videos. I and I've heard very good testimony that I trust and believe. So it happens but then that person does eventually die. Friend of ours, she wrote, she got her husband, he had a heart attack, she grabbed and said, "No, you're not dying now." And he lived. He lived for several more years and then he passed on. So they do pass away again. So raising someone from the dead, I want you to have that concept to realize it's the here and the now. for you in your authority you have with God. And and I'm sure what this does to your belief level now, like, well, wait a second. Do I really want that power and authority? Well, think about it this way. We're told we can live a long old life as long as we put God first, do his commandments first, seek his presence. I've been teaching on this for many, many teachings. You can go check all that out. We're told we can have that. We can do that. So that means I've got to follow the commandments of the Lord. I can live a long life. David lived so to such an old age that he had to have they hired a a virgin girl to lay and warm him up at night and cover him with the blankets to keep him warm till he passed on in his old age. So he was blessed with old age. We're we can be blessed with old age. So yes, we can will eventually die. But if someone dies prematurely, yes, we should bring them back from the dead because they were promised to live a long life. You see, now your level of belief should be going up because this is your power and authority as a believer in Christ that you can do this, which means infirmities. You can cast them out. You can get rid of sickness. You don't have to be sick. And I'm trying to teach this freedom in being a believer in Christ. Why? because that's the promises that we have. Go back to what Jesus said. Look it. Jesus said to him in verse 23, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." So you can be not sick, you don't have to ache, you don't have to take pills.

Your level of belief has to come from here to here. Which means you have to unlearn some things. We were grow raised and grown in a community where you get sick, you call the doctor, you go visit the doctor, he gives you a pill and you feel better. Takes care of the symptoms. It doesn't take care of the root cause. Sometimes these symptoms continue to repeat and you have to repeat taking pills. Hence the pharmacy industry and its multibillion dollar industry. It's because that's what we were taught as kids. We have to unlearn that and realize Jesus is our healer. Where's your level of belief? See, the devil's done a great job to bring your level of belief down. He's done a great job in the Western Hemisphere to keep you from realizing that we can cast out demons, that we can uh raise people from the dead. He's done all that and he's done an excellent job. Continue here. Look at Jude in verses 20- 21. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. How do you keep your level of belief up? Right here, building yourselves up on your most holy faith. You have to keep talking to Jesus. That's your faith. Jesus, where are you? He's right here. And he keeps telling me, my Bible's over there. I was going to grab it. He keeps talking to me through the Bible and I keep reading it because I want to hear more about him. I want my level of belief, my level of faith to go up. So, I keep building it up every single day. Look at this. Praying in the Holy Spirit. I, you know, when you get baptized, you're filled with the Holy Spirit. That's when the Holy Spirit fills you up when you get water baptized. And that's when you can go into ministry. So you've got to keep the Holy Spirit in you talking. You just keep talking with God. Speak in tongues. The the word of God is complete and tells you everything. And you need to keep coming back to it to continue to build yourself up so that your faith goes up so that when you see them pushing a new drug, you don't fall for the hype of it all. You because you would already be healed. you'd be in the presence of God going, "Man, you know, I'm not sick. I have been." And you know what? I'm going to tell you this much. If you got symptoms of whatever it is, and you you haven't been healed of that yet, I promise you that if you're a believer in Christ and you're spending time with the Lord and you just haven't been healed of that yet, and I'm a walking testimony of this, I promise you that if you would, he will take you all the way to the end of your days, old life, all the way to the end of days with that same thing. It will not go any further than where where you're at. Now, you can reverse it once you believe, but you got to believe. All things are possible when you believe according to Jesus. So, let's look at this belief. How do we believe? It becomes it's a trust issue. Now, look at Ephesians 1:12 and 13. That we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of his glory. In him you also trusted after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. In whom also having believed, look at that. Having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Once you became a believer in Christ, you confess Jesus. You said, Jesus, you know, I'm sorry I messed up. You took a leap of faith. And that is trust. And because you did that, you're aware. See, inside each of us, there is a knowing that we know that there is God and he exists. He's right here with us. And we may deny it. We may want to rebuke it. We may want to walk away from it. But the reality is it's there and it's truth. It's a faith though, a trust that you have to build into so that you can take your level of unbelief to belief to take your eyes off of, oh, well, you know, those those people that ridiculed Jesus, we knew. No one comes back from the dead. They should have known. They should have seen what happened when those bones were laid on Elisha. It was a story of old. Obviously, they hadn't seen it in their lifetime. And obviously, they hadn't heard that story or they didn't believe that story. One of the two. And they ridiculed him. They didn't even want to give him a chance. They were just like, "We know what's right. We know no one comes back from the dead. We know. Do you really? Do you really know everything? You're not God. Humble yourselves. Realize that. Hey, am I putting my limitations on God and what he can do? Yes. When you think you know something, you're limiting God and his capabilities. God created the heavens and the earth. And because he did that, he can do anything. If he wants me to turn blue, he can make me blue. He wants me to not breathe ever again but keep me alive. He can do that because he's the creator, the almighty powerful one. Now, does he do that? No. Uh but he could if he wanted to. Which means if he wants to bring somebody back from the dead, you better believe it he can. Especially when he's made his promises to say that you the believer who trust and walk in faith and spend time with me and have a relationship with me and you are righteous in me then you will live a long life. He has promised that that is in his scriptures homework. Go check it out. Go check it out. Look at what faith is. Hebrews 11 1-3. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. You see, you hear testimonies, and if you're not hearing testimonies, your faith isn't moving. You see, you've got to hear the testimonies. You got to go out and look and find them. Yes, you need to go search. Go find them. There are testimonies. If you're gathering around in your Bible studies at your church or you're going to your church, churches are starting to share the testimonies because they're realizing how powerful it is. It's got to take the level of belief from here to here. Why? We have a generation right now that remember they took the Bibles out of school, they took prayer out of school. These kids do not know God. So in order to get them back to God, they got to hear the testimonies and they're going to be like, "Really? Really?" Nah. But they hear it. It starts the act to activate the faith in them. By faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God. Didn't I just say that God is the creator of heaven and earth? And because he created that, like I said, if he wanted me to live without breathing, he can make me live without breathing. That is God. And because he, the word of God framed it and put that in context for me, it helps me take my level of belief from here to here. Meaning that if I'm dealing with some kind of sickness, just because I can't get rid of it at that moment, doesn't mean it's going to be prosperous. It doesn't mean it's going to be fruitful. It doesn't mean it's going to hold me back because God is in control. And if he wants me to continue living, he wants me and he does, then I will continue on moving on until he's ready to take me home. When I'm ready to finally be done with that sickness and disease, then God is right there with me and he will hold my hand and he will walk me through it. And I'm telling you, I'm a walking testimony personally in that area. framed by the word of God so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. So faith is something you can't see. So the moment you start talking to God, guess what? You can't see him. Look at this. I want you to see something because Romans describes this perfectly that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, this is Romans 10:9 and 10. And believe in your heart. So confess with your mouth. So the moment you speak at Lord Jesus, you see every sickness that you're dealing with, you say Jesus, you are Lord over cancer. Jesus, you are Lord over asthma. Jesus, you are Lord over allergies. Whatever it is that you're dealing with, the moment you confess, Jesus is Lord. Same thing with your salvation. You said, "Jesus, I'm sorry I messed up." You said, "Jesus, I'm sorry." Go back to the thief on the cross. Jesus saved that man just from acknowledging his guilt and saying to Jesus, "Remember me." He talked to Jesus and Jesus saved him. So your eternity is saved. The moment you say, "Jesus, I'm sorry." Now, when you say, "Jesus, I declare Jesus over whatever sickness it is." Look what he says. And believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead. Well, how do you believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead? Jesus, I know you're there. I can't see you. You see, that's your act of faith. And the moment you are acting that faith, you're believing in Jesus that you can't see, but you know that God raised him from the dead because he's not dead. You see the level of belief now goes from here to here is building. Look what he says. Raise him from the dead, you will be saved. Another word for saved is delivered. You will be out of that sit. You're free. The moment you believe that Jesus is alive. He came out of the grave. You are free. You no longer have to live in bondage. The devil tells you otherwise, but you don't have to live in bondage. You're not even sick anymore. You just don't know it here yet. Mind over matter. I've done teachings on this. Go back to my old teachings. But look what he also says because he goes further and and and explains it more. For with the heart one believes into righteousness. You see all of a sudden now when Jesus forgives you, you're righteous. Jesus says you're righteous. Means you have the blessing of long life. Meaning sickness can't touch you. Isn't that amazing? And you and you just got to believe it. But the moment you talk, you're you're automatically believing it. You just haven't manifested it yet. You can look what the next part says. I'm with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation or deliverance. Because the moment you speak, so the every time, you know what? Every time you say, "Jesus, you are Lord over this bum knee." No, Lord, I'm not going to call it a bum knee anymore. Jesus, you are Lord over this knee, and it is perfect. And you keep saying it over and over over my neck, over my shoulder. You say the name of Jesus. You know what? I had dealt with depression 30 plus years ago. And that was what I was doing. I once I realized I had to ask the Lord, what what's going on with me here? And he showed me. And once I got that realization, I shut that door. I said, "No, no, no. Depressing depression be gone." And I said, "In the name of Jesus, you will not be of in this life, in this body. I will not deal with depression because I am not a depressed individual. And people think I'm animated and excited and always smiling. Why? Because I took that evening and I went after it with the name of Jesus. And yet I did it over and over and over again. I went to bed even thinking it sleeping going into my sleep that night like that. I woke up the next morning. I'm going to tell you, man. I w I that that depression was gone there. You feel the difference. Anyone who's dealt with depression knows what I'm talking about. Big difference. You feel light. You You feel free. Now, I felt like I had been in a punching match. You know, my body had been hit all over the place, but I wasn't depressed anymore. And I never been since. Tries to creep in every once in a while, but I recognize it. And I say, "Nope, I already kicked your butt. Get out of here." And it leaves. It has to because I've dominated and I overcame. Because I'm more than a conqueror. I'm an overcomer. and I did that. You are an overcomer. Jesus has given you these blessings. Why? Because you're spending time with him. You put him first. Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you. You get to have all these. So, first, if you're not spending time with the Lord, which I've been preaching on, so I'm assuming if you're watching this video, you're spending time with the Lord. If not, get into it and start your routine. And then here's the best part of it. Cuz you're doing that and the Lord changes you. By the way, you your mentality changes in your relationship with him. You have a boldness and a confidence where you can go to him and say, "Uh, this shouldn't be bothering me. Why is it happening, Lord?" And you name you say, "I'm putting the Lord Jesus over this and I'm casting it out and giving it to you, Lord." And I promise you, you will see God move in your life and your level of belief will go from here to here. And it is amazing. So yes, if the Holy Spirit convicted me, if I'm in a situation where I see somebody dying prematurely for whatever reason, I'm gonna grab him and say, "Stand up in the name of Jesus." That is the authority that you have as a believer and you need to get your level of belief from here to here. Notice what that father of that child that was demonposses
