THE COMMANDMENT OF MEN

Minister Lisa Kane

6 de agosto de 2023

In this teaching, Lisa Kane begins with Isaiah 29:13–14, where God warns that people honor Him with their lips but keep their hearts far from Him, following the commandments of men instead of His truth. She explains how human traditions, church doctrines, and fear-based teachings can distort God’s Word, leading to division, unfruitfulness, and spiritual blindness.

Using examples such as water baptism, honoring parents, and the thief on the cross, Lisa clarifies that salvation comes through faith and confession in Jesus Christ—not through manmade requirements. She warns against false doctrines that replace God’s commandments with human traditions and stresses the need for intercessory prayer, humility, and dependence on Scripture.

The message underscores that God’s true commandments are rooted in love: loving Him fully and loving others as ourselves. Perfect love casts out fear, unlike the fear-driven doctrines of men. Lisa calls on believers, teachers, and church leaders to repent of manmade traditions, return to God’s Word, and embrace His love and Spirit-led truth. In doing so, they will experience revival, unity, and fruitfulness in their walk with Christ.

Objective:

The purpose of this message is to expose the dangers of following the traditions and doctrines of men over the true commandments of God, as warned in Scripture. It emphasizes the need for humility, repentance, and reliance on the Holy Spirit to properly understand and teach God’s Word. The goal is to help believers return to the simplicity of Christ’s commandments—loving God with all their heart and loving their neighbor—so that revival and transformation can take place in the church and in individual lives.

Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above:

Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Welcome. This message is called the commandment of men. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, thank you. Thank you for your word. Thank you for your blessings. Thank you for your covering. I ask that you speak through my lips articulately. I ask that your love is within me, that it will show and minister to those listening to this word. And I thank you, Father God, for the revelation of your word here, Lord. At least it's new revelation to me. I love you and I praise you and I glorify you for you truly are my God, my king, my lord and my savior. I belong to you and you belong to me. Thank you, Father God. Jesus name. Amen. In Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go look at our opening scripture. This is called the commandment of men. We're starting here with Isaiah 29:es 13-4. Therefore the Lord said, "In as much as these people draw near with their mouths, and honor me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the commandment of men. Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work among this people, a marvelous work and a wonder, for the wisdom of the wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden. What is a commandment of men? You know, when a person teaches you scripture, I'm called to teach and preach the word of God. I have a responsibility to teach you appropriately. I am not God. I cannot teach you everything except for what the Holy Spirit reveals to me, which Jesus kind of talked about that in this that he said, you know what, I'm only telling you what my father taught me. So that is the example he set for us to remember. We're not God. We're not gods. We are here to teach the word of God. And I get it. there's some amount of interpretation but at the same time we should be doing it within context. We should be doing it within the overall holiness of the Bible and most importantly we should be teaching it with love. Well, what happens is men, women, doctrine comes in and intercedes. is very similar to what the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the Herodians did. So here I'd like to teach you how to one recognize the commandment of men and two how to pray and get your relationship with God established and then to intercede because we need intercessory prayer warriors in place for these churches and for these pastors to and teachers and evangelists so that there is a heavy repentance that takes place so that the Holy Spirit can move under his anointing and we have a revival. This will lead to a revival if suddenly a bunch of pastors start repenting and and making some changes here. Okay. So, let me show you something here in this scripture because I really want you to see how this is working. So, people draw near with their mouths. They honor me with their lips but have removed their hearts far from me. Remember what I taught on in Matthew where Jesus says you or the people cry out to him saying, "Well, we prophesied in your name. We cast out demons in your name." And he said, "I never knew you." Well, this is that he's saying, "Look, it you you're you're talking with your mouth. You're honoring me with your lips, but your heart is not near me. It's far far away in another land. You got to bring it back to God. We got to put God back at the center of our relationship in order for us to teach in the love of God and not fear. Let's continue on. I want you to see this. And their fear toward me is taught by the commandment of men. How many preachers, and I've heard this several occasions, unfortunately, where they say, "Oh, you better live for Christ. Better safe than sorry." That's not biblical. That's nonscriptural. That is a false teaching, a false doctrine. So this is where we who are responsible to teach the word of God need to humble ourselves and say, "Lord, I can't do this." Yeah. I even sit here sometimes and I think, man, Lord, you called me to do this and I'm grateful for it, but I'm also very scared because I don't want to mislead or deceive anyone. But as long as I keep going to his word, to his scripture, and I humble myself, and acknowledge I'm not God. I'm not going to tell you what's right and what's wrong. I'm just going to point you to the scripture. Then I'm doing right. And that's how the spirit of the Lord works. So now look what else he says. Uh therefore, behold, I would. And now he's telling you straight up what the consequences are. I'm going to do a marvelous work among this people. Who's this people? These are the people that establish the commandments of men. Church doctrine is a commandment of men. I'll talk about that in a moment here. He says, "A marvelous work and a wonder for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish." How many people walk out of a church service every day and they forget what's taught? That's the spirit working because you have a curse on you because you placed a doctrine uh of a spirit of fear or a commandment that you think is right because you're telling people this is the right way to get get saved. I got all the right answers for you. Come to this church. I know what's best for you. When you start doing that, this is why the church is all broken up and divided the way it is because these things have snuck in. But he says it will perish. If you're wondering why your church is not being fruitful, not multiplying, or is in a state of dying, it it is starting to decay, and you're you're trying to figure out how do I get this back? It's because of this. He says, look here, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden. You see, people can't see you or hear you if you're not in the doctrine of God. and you've placed your own doctrine. Now, I I need to explain this and and give you an example so that there is a an understanding here. Okay? Again, I'm trying to just teach from the word of God. I'm trying to teach you the truth and I'm hoping that I'm doing this in a spirit of love. So, that well, let's humble ourselves. You know what? Let's if you really truly want to do it right, that's exactly what you would do. And maybe you would take this message to heart. If you're really angry with this message and you're grinding your teeth about the whole thing or you think I'm teaching false doctrine, you need to take it to the Lord, trust me, I have done so and he will correct me if need be and he has. So please understand he has. So I want to use water baptism as an example. I think this is a great example. We're also going to look at an example that Jesus used when he was dealing with honoring your father and mother. But let's start with baptism. There's many doctrines out there in many churches that say you need to be waterbaptized to be saved. Look at how much confusion there is out there in social media. How that question is asked consistently. So now here I come to you and I say, okay, how what how does salvation work? You see, if you look at water baptism, what does the person baptizing say? He asks a question. And the question he asks is, "Do you believe that Jesus is the son of God?" And then that person about to get baptized will say yes. In order for that person to say yes, they have had to already confess Jesus is Lord. Why? Because first John 4 says, "Test the spirits." And when you're testing the spirits, what happens? They cannot say Jesus is the son of God if they don't believe. Okay? Now, that means a confession already took place, not just in the moment of this uh water uh tub or whatever they're going to get baptized in. So, that means confession. You can confess in your you could be sitting on the toilet, confess. You can get in your car and confess. You could be doing dishes and just out of the blue, the Holy Spirit be talking to you and things start connecting in your mind and all of a sudden you say, "Jesus, man, I really mess up and and I I get it now. It makes sense. I'm sorry." So that confession takes place and then that person will start to connect into the body of Christ. So, how do And there's also scripture here, not just what I said, but the scripture tells us what takes place at water baptism. So, let's look at that because I I want to do the teaching here and get it properly brought forth before you. Um, and he says here, let's go to uh Matthew 3:11 and 16. I'll start with 11. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. And I believe that's where some of the confusion comes from. But by the way, that's the only gospel that says unto repentance. The others don't. Go check. Go do the homework. But he says unto repentance. Look at else what else he says. But he who is coming after me is mightier than I. So unto repentance now, but Jesus is coming who's going to do the remission of sins. He's going to have to be the one you have to confess to. He's saying he is mightier than I whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. So now you've got to get a spirit on you. A spirit and fire on you. This is what water baptism leads to. Let me show you. Go to verse 16. When he had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water. And behold, the heavens were open to him, and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove and a lighting upon him. Now, when he went underwater, he came up, the spirit of God, the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus. Every time anyone gets water baptized, they come up, the spirit of God comes upon you. Something happens in that. So, now let's let's take let's analyze that for just a moment. Adam was made from dirt. So we are descendants of Adam and he is from dirt which means our flesh comes from dirt. So go read the parable of the sewer and Jesus is planting seed. That seed gets planted. So for example, if you're doing dishes and all of a sudden you think, "Oh man, I did mess up." And and and you're realizing, "Yeah, you know, I was told Jesus is the son of God. Jesus is the one who will save me. and you just say, "Okay, Jesus, I don't know if you're real, but I'm repenting because man, messed up." That's because the Holy Spirit is working in their mind, but they're not in church. They're just talking to Jesus. Jesus and that person. That is their confession. That is the confession. Now, the Holy Spirit will start to lead them. Now, watch as he came up, the spirit came upon him. So now this person can go get water baptized and say that Jesus is the son of God. Say yes to that question. Come up now have the spirit of God on them. And what happens when they get the spirit on them? Says in uh chapter 4 verse one, then Jesus was led up by the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. When Paul was changed, he met Jesus on the road to Damascus and he went from Saul to Paul. What happened? He went three years into the wilderness. Jesus went into the wilderness for 40 days. The Israelites when they came out of Egypt, they went into the wilderness for 40 years. This tells me now again this is something you can go review and check yourself that water baptism now allows you the authority and the power with the Holy Spirit to go forth to defeat the enemy. Because what happens when you get into the wilderness, you are wandering. You're trying to get rooted in. You see, when you get water baptized and you go under that seed that's planted, when you come up, it becomes saturated with the water, the living word of God, the spirit comes upon you and now the sunlight of the spirit of God nourishes that seed. The seed begins to grow, germinate, and it begins to change and transforms you and lets you allows you to go into the wilderness so that you can learn how to defeat the enemy. That's what water baptism is all about. I mean, it is a very simple thing to understand, but it is very there's a lot of spiritual connotation there. But this is what allows you to move in. That is where your water baptism comes in and and this allows the Holy Spirit to teach you. This is now also building your relationship up. Now, let's go back to the seed part. Go read the parable of the sewer. What did Jesus say? He says there's some seed that lands on good soil. Good fertile soil, but some on rock, some on the road, some get choked up by life. But when you get on good fertile soil, that seed is planted, it gets watered, it nourished, it germinates. Not all seed germinates the same way. So I want you to realize what confession and getting water baptized, the two different roles here. Look at this. This is this is fascinating. When that seed, remember Jesus is now the seed is in that person. They've talked to Jesus. They've actually called out on his name. Remember what Romans 10:13 says, "Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Well, this is that part where that got put in here. But the seed did not root. Now, hold on. I want you to listen to something. When you're a gardener and you begin to learn the different seeds and the different seasons, some seeds need a particular atmosphere in order to germinate. Some seed germinate much easier than others. So, think of looking at bulbs and you you plant your bulbs before the cold season so that that bulb has a chance to go through the cold season, get what it needs in order to come up in spring. That's what's going on on the inside of a person who has finally acknowledged Jesus and said, "I messed up." Now whether that germinates right away or not, when they go to get water baptized, it triggers the germination because they've gone through their season now with that seed, whether it was minutes, hours, days, years. This is a lot of people don't understand the concept of confession and then water baptism, but that is what it is. So now when a church says you need to have water baptism to be saved, that's a false teaching. It is a do a false doctrine. You cannot have that. It does. It's nonb non-biblical. How do I know that? Let me show you other scripture now about confession. And watch the difference of these two. This is very interesting. Luke 23:39-43. Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed him saying, "If you are the Christ, save yourself and us." But the other answering rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, oh, what does he say there? We indeed justly. We indeed messed up and we're guilty because we're we belong being crucified on this cross is what this thief is saying." And he says, "For we receive the due reward of our deeds, but this man," talking about Jesus, "has done nothing wrong." Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when you enter, you come into your kingdom." And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise." Now, did you see something here? That thief, the one who rebuked the other thief, he didn't get off the cross and get water baptized. Did you see that? By the way, he never got a chance to live for Christ either. Did you see that? Did you see that? Not only all of that, but he never got um baptized with the Holy Spirit. He never spoke in tongues. He didn't get off the cross and go door to door trying to teach people. No, Jesus though promised him says today you will be with me in paradise. He was saved and it wasn't by doctrine. It wasn't by commandment of men. It was by the love of Jesus who loved him in that moment. And since that thief finally realized, you know, in fact, let's I'll digress. Let's go down the rabbit trail here a bit. You have two thieves in the same exact same situation. Identical. This one thief though, he thinks he knows that Jesus can't get off the cross. So in his mind, hey, go ahead, get off the cross and save us because he knows that he can't do it. Little does he know how wrong he is. How many times do you think of something that is right and you find out you're wrong? This thief had no idea who Jesus is. Jesus could have got off that cross anytime he wanted to. But God told Jesus, "Go and die for these people and I will give you your life." Jesus says, "I follow the will of my father." And he stayed on that cross following the will of his father, not a commandment of man on that cross. But the other thief was in the exact same situation. What was the difference between the two? This other thief heard something, seen something, something ministered to him. He realized that Jesus is the son of God. He He all of a sudden had an awareness somewhere. He saw either someone get healed. He heard somebody say, "Hey man, this Jesus, he's supposed to save us of our sins." He heard something like this and he realized all I have left is death in front of me. Where do I go from here? And he says, I fear the Lord. Because he said to the other thief, do you not even fear the Lord? You should have a fear of the Lord because you're about to make meet your maker. Well, this thief realized that and this is why he said to Jesus, "Remember me when you enter your kingdom." And you know, again, he acknowledges guilt. He He's the one who says, "I'm here and this is where I belong because this is my just reward for being a thief in the first place." Now, did he even know anything? No. He heard, he believed, and he had hope. And he said to Jesus, "Remember me." And Jesus says, "I promise you." Answering his hope. But he still died on that cross. He never got the chance to live for Christ. And let me tell you, when Jesus says, "You uh prophesied in my name, you cast out demons in my name, but I never knew you." There are people who are living for Christ falsely. They are wolves in sheep's clothing. You can tell them by two things. By their fruit or lack thereof, and second, by the fact that they cannot say that Jesus is the son of God. And in fact, the moment you try to minister to them, they clam up. That's exactly what happens. It is. And it's really interesting to watch how that goes through um ministry. If once you start to get into ministry, you can start to see this. This is why I go into intercessory prayer. And I'm constantly praying for people in the church, people out in the world because they need the spirit to help them because they're not they're not seeing and hearing what is being taught to them or told or they're or they're believing a false doctrine. You know, I was ministering to a woman the other night and telling her that, you know, she was dealing with anxiety and fear and I was trying to show her that the devil's been defeated. And I was saying, God says in Isaiah 45:7, "I form the light, I create darkness, and I cause all calamity." Go read that scripture for yourself if you like. And she said Jesus didn't create uh darkness. He has no sin in him. And I'm thinking, gee, God was just talking in that scripture and you just denied what God said.

She's believing something about sin that she was taught. And she's holding on to that, not realizing this. Again, we're not God. We don't know everything about God. We don't know the scriptures from cover to cover. We need to humble ourselves and get before the Lord. Now remember earlier I alluded to Jesus with an example of honoring thy father and mother. Look at this Jesus. This is him talking. This is Matthew 15:es 3-9. He answered and said to them, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?" Remember the ten commandments are God's commandments. Okay. Now look at what he says. He's talking to these Pharisees and these Sadducees. For God commanded, saying, "Honor your father and your mother. And he who curses father and mother, let him be put to death." But you say, now we're talking about man, whoever says to his father or mother, "Whatever profit you might have received from me, the child is a gift to God." In other words, I'm not going to give it to you. I'm going to give it to God because it belongs to God. Let that person die. And then he says, 'Then he need not honor his father or mother because you know you you're saying I'm just giving it to God. Look at this. Thus you have made the commandment of God no effect by your tradition. He called them hypocrites. Well did Isaiah prophesy about you saying this is the ver our opening scripture but from Isaiah. Look at what Jesus is actually repeating it word for word. These people draw near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me and in vain they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. So you know we we know what honor thy father and mother says. It is the only commandment that comes with a promise. You will be promised and given full life. You will have a long life if you honor your father and mother. When you don't honor them, you don't take care of them, you don't respect them, no matter who they are, what they are, if they're an alcoholic, abuser, whatever, if you do not honor them, you your life is cursed. This is why if they are in the situation where they're in drugs, they're in held in bondage or demonic or they are abusive, um they're alcoholics, whatever it is, this is when you, the child, should be going to God and saying, "Father God, I bless my parents. I forgive them of their sins and I ask you to forgive them of their sins as well." And you try to bring it back into unity and do the intercessory prayer. Go to God. Fast for them if you must, but they will be delivered. I promise you that. And if I were you, I'd get that scripture, honor thy father and mother, the t of the ten commandments and this one here. And I would write that down in your prayer journal over your parents and pray saying, Lord, I'm asking for this blessing that I want on me to be on them as well. And this is how that works. But he's saying, "Look at you, honor. You don't you you're coming to me with empty lips. You're coming to me um with words, but your heart is not near me. Your heart isn't in it." It's like doing something uh what did First Corinthians talk about? Love. Uh having no love, prophesying in his name, cast down demons in his name, but have no love. It's a clanging symbol. Well, there's more in that chapter. Let's go to 1 Corinthians 13. Look at verses 8 and 10. 8 through 10. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail. How many people come and prophecy prophesy and they're false? They will fail. Whether there are tongues, they will see. Speaking in tongues and trying to um uh interpret the tongues, those things they will fail. Why? Why is he saying they will fail? Whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. Man's knowledge. We just saw in Isaiah saying, "You're using the commandments of men, they will perish." Remember what he said about that? Well, why? He says here, "For we know in part. We prophesy in part. We only know a part of the Bible. We do not know the Bible from cover to cover. We're not God." See, this is the why. He says, "But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away because perfection completes the entire picture." And what is perfection? The love of God. That is perfection. But we have to realize we're not God. Look at here. Psalm 51:6 says, "Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts, and in the pardon in in the hidden part, you will make me to know wisdom." We have to repent, go back to the Lord, humble ourselves, and remind ourselves we're not God. I cannot teach you everything. I only know a little part, and I can only teach you a little part. But if we all get together and share our parts together, we will have a bigger part of the picture. But it's still not complete. But it needs the perfection of love to complete it. Look at this. 1 John 4:18. There is no fear in love, but perfect love cast out fear. You notice in the Isaiah scripture, you teach a commandment of fear, commandment of men with fear. Well, fear, look at what fear is. says, "Because fear involves torment, but he who fears has not been made perfect in love." For example, that woman uh that I was ministering to the other night who is fighting this off, she has not been made perfect in love. And I I sympathize and I love her. Jesus loves her, but she's holding back and doesn't want that. She can't She's having a trouble trusting. This is where now you the teacher, the preacher, the pastor, the evangelist need to let the Holy Spirit in and let him move with love so that the people's hearts, the hardness breaks away and the softness on the inside sees and hears and responds to the Holy Spirit. Oh, let's read that again. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. You see, even in teaching this, I'm not here accusing you whether, you know, I I understand you do have false doctrine there, but I'm praying for you. I'm not here to judge you because I can be judged, too. I've messed up. All of us have fallen short of the glory of God. But God saved us in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. And he cast out fear. That perfect love cast out fear. That is what we need. We need the love of God. Look at what James has to say. James 4:7-10. Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Actually, this was one of her she was dealing with anxiety, fear of the devil getting a hold of her. That was her root issue. And James clearly says it here. Therefore, submit to God. I give her the word of God to submit to. And she rejected it. Now, I may not be the one in the right place at the right time to get her delivered. However, I did water the seed there. So, it's a part of that, but even more so, I'm interceding in prayer now for her. And she goes into my prayer journal, and I'm hoping to see at the end of the light, at the end of the tunnel, the light of her freedom, which is what salvation is. Salvation brings freedom. When you guys get to the sanctification part and you realize you are free from bondage, from the doctrine of men and false doctrine, because the helmet of salvation is on you. The only way you get to this is to re what did he say? Therefore, submit to God. You you submit to God. You have to put him first in your life. How do you do that? You got to give him time. And he needs to be first. Seek ye first. Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you. Look at this. Resist the devil. He will flee from you. Verse eight. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Repent. Spend time with the Lord. Look at this. Cleanse your hands, you sinners. Repent. Because you know when you repent, you submit unto God. The cleansing and the restoration begins to take place. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify you hearts, you double-minded. You know, you need to unlearn the false things you have learning. You're clinging on to. I grew up in the church. I became a believer when I was 6 years old. And I quoted things that I thought was scripture. And guess what? I found out it wasn't. You know what though? Am I angry or upset? No. I repented and got myself right with God. And now I checked the scripture myself. Again, I went into ministry as a result of it because that's where the Holy Spirit led me. Where would the Holy Spirit lead you when you decide to submit unto God? H verse 9, lament and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. He is talking about in this scripture he's talking to those that are not repenting and that are not submitting to God. So you can see him, hey, you continue to not submit. Look at you're going to lament, you're going to mourn, you're going to weep, you're not even going to laugh anymore because it's going to be in mourning and you will be gloomy. But then he goes on to say, "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord and he will lift you up." This is why I'm here right now because I know that the spirit of God is moving in me. I know that I've done what his scripture says for the parts that I do know. Look at Romans 10:9 and 13. that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Are you calling on the name of the Lord? Are you seeing what he's doing for you? Have you repented, humbled yourself before the Lord, submit unto him? Because when you do, he will lift you up. So what you do in secret, he exposes in the open. So if you're doing evil in the secret, guess what's everyone can see it. You may not, but they can. You think you're being in secret, but they can see. They know what you're doing. They know what evil you're doing, too. It's exposed. If you don't want that, and I'm not trying to teach it in fear. I'm just simply saying we can see you, but this is Jesus can see you, and he still loves you, and he's still expecting you to come to him. He went to the cross and died for you. Even if you choose not to repent, he did it anyways for you. Look at Deuteronomy 30:15 and 16. Look at you know what? Let's talk about the commandments of God because that's what we're trying see trying to get you out of the commandments of men. Let's bring you to the commandments of God. There are there's Old Testament commandments and New Testament and Jesus brings them all together. Watch this. See, I've set before you today life and good, death and evil. In that I command you today to love the Lord your God. How do you love him? Look at this. It tells you to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his judgments, that you may live and multiply, and the Lord your God your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. Basically, if you want to become a lawyer or a nurse or um an astronaut, what wherever the Lord wherever you want to go and that's a desire of your heart, if you put God first and you love him first and you're walking with him and you're living for him and you're doing in the secret place with him, you will possess that and be the best at it as well because that's God blessing you. You see, but notice he says, "Love love love the Lord your God." When you love something, you spend time with them. If you love your spouse, you two spend time, you do everything together. The moment you try to live two separate lives, even though you love one another, the moment you open the door to vulnerability. Now, let's see what Jesus said about these commandments. Matthew 22:35-40. Then one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him and saying, "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?" Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind? This is the first and great commandment, and the second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. on these two commandments. Hang all the law and the prophets.

He clearly is telling you what it is to love the Lord your God with all your heart. It starts there. You put him first. You make him the center of your life. If you truly love him, you will open up the Bible every day, read and pray. And if you truly believe him, you will also put those that you love here on the earth in prayer to him because it's only him and his spirit that can help a person believe. So love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind. And this is the first and great commandment. The second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Oh, how many videos do I see about um neighbors hating one another, calling the police on one another? That's not loving one another. Obviously, they're in sin, which means we need to pray for them and we need to show them love and we need to help them resolve those issues. They're thriving on it right now and they don't want to repent, but this is the time where we need to tell them to repent. And to finish that off, it says, "A new commandment I give to you." Actually, this is John 13. Yeah, we're uh yeah, John 13:34 through34. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. So, it's reiterated again in the Gospel of John. This is very important that we teach in love and that even though you know and you have the right to get angry, you can get angry at God. You can get angry at me. Whatever you want to do. I'm going to tell you right now, I'm teaching the word of God and I'm teaching in the context of the word of God. I'm not going to get mad. I believe I've done what's right. Now, the Lord will tell me if I've done something wrong. And believe you, me, you and me, he has. And if you've watched my videos, you'll see me cor
