THE HOPE OF GLORY

Minister Lisa Kane

25 de junio de 2023

In “The Hope of Glory”, Lisa teaches from Genesis 1:27 and Colossians 1:27, showing that mankind was created in the image of God and that Christ living in us is the true hope of glory. She explains that in the last days, God is dealing with three groups: Israel, the Bride of Christ, and unbelievers. While unbelievers embrace pride and sinful identities, the Church must hold fast to their identity in Christ, knowing they reflect the image of God.

Drawing from the example of Moses’ encounter with God in Exodus 33, Lisa illustrates that although no man can see God’s face and live, His glory still passes before His children, surrounding them with His presence. She emphasizes that glory is not abstract but a real, substantial manifestation of God’s power and love.

Believers are reminded that the “hope of glory” is the assurance of seeing Christ in eternity, but also the present reality of God’s glory resting upon those who walk in Him. Through repentance, humility, and relationship with God, we gain peace, access to His grace, and the inheritance of His promises.

Lisa warns that unbelievers who reject Christ remain under sin, but stresses God’s unfailing love and His desire that all repent. Using scripture from Romans, Ephesians, Psalms, and Revelation, she demonstrates that glory is both God’s covering and His inheritance for His children. The message closes with a call to repentance, intimacy with God, and steadfast faith, so that when others look at us, they see the image and glory of God reflected in our lives.

Objective:

The purpose of this message is to reveal the true meaning of the “hope of glory” found in Christ, showing believers that they are created in the image of God, called into His glory, and given the inheritance of His presence. It aims to help the body of Christ understand their identity in Him, recognize the contrast with unbelief and sin, and embrace the hope that will be fulfilled when we see Him face to face.

Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above:

Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this on Sunday, June 25th, 2023. Welcome. This message is called the hope of glory. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your blessings. We thank you for your glory. We thank you for your presence. We thank you for being with us. Lord, you are mighty. You are amazing. You are always with us and you love us. Thank you, Father God, for you truly are great. You are my God, my King, my Lord, and my Savior. I belong to you and you belong to me. Thank you, Father God, in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. Uh just a couple of updates. We are now in Missouri, so I apologize that it's taken me, I think, three weeks to get a message together. When we first got out here, the rental that I'm in right now, it wasn't ready when we got here. So, we've been in an Airbnb. Kind of treated it like a mini vacation that the Lord gave us. So, very, very nice to have that. And uh we got to relax a little bit. We are now here and this is temporary for 6 months. Uh they're building our home. So, once we have that built, I think we'll be moving in sometime around Christmas, give or take. So, we're looking forward to that. But in the meantime, here I am. So, it's a different background. We'll work with this and and maybe I'll modify it over as the days go by because I'm still unpacking and still looking for things. All right, let's go to our opening scripture here. The hope of glory. Amen. Genesis 1:27. So God created man in his own image. In the image of God he created him. Male and female he created them. Okay. So, what I have taught on in the past here is that there are three groups of people that the Lord is dealing with in the end times, which is our generation. This is where we're at right now. So, you have um the nation of Israel that he's dealing with. You have the the uh bride of Christ, which is who we are. Anyone who says Jesus is the son of God is the bride of Christ. And then last, but certainly not least, is the unbeliever. So, here we are in the month of June, and what is the unbeliever celebrating right now? They are celebrating Pride Month, which we all know scripturally pride goes before the fall. So, we are at the precipice. We're about to fall. Uh, in case you are not following the Lord, you're not following scripture. It may be a shock to you if you're hearing this for the first time, but yes, we're about to fall. Now, we can pray and we can intercede and do what we can, but remember God has an agenda and his agenda is to get to the end times here. So, we all know that revelation is coming and we know that all of the steps are there and have been laid down. The foundation is there. So, this can go pretty much at any time. And there's a series of events that we're watching, you know, like Russia right now and this uh coup um mutiny that tried to take place. So there's a lot of things going on. So be attentive, be watchful as Jesus tells us. So this opening scripture, God created created us in his image. So the hope of glory has to do with who we are with Christ. So looking at the unbeliever right now, what do we see? They're celebrating Pride Month, which is, you know, homosexuality, lesbian type of things. So, these are um sin that God has declared a sin simply because they're not fruitful. So, they're identifying as what the opposite of what God has created them to be. They're they're, you know, kind of saying, you know what, I yeah, I was born a man, but nope, I'm not a man. I'm a woman. And this is the type of thing that they are celebrating. So the identity is the doors are open right now. And you can go read Jonathan Khan's book, Return of the Gods, or go watch any of his videos that he speaks about in the um spiritual aspect of what we're dealing with right now. That I support that 100% because this is exactly what we're dealing with. This had to happen though for the return of the Lord. So keep that in mind. So you've got this uh generation now that is standing up for death because see man on man cannot produce children. Now if they think they can produce children in a test tube environment and they think okay well life will go on so we can live in the sin that we want. Well that's not the way it is. So let's talk about the image of God because see that is what the enemy is attacking each person in. They are attacking the individual's identity. They don't know who they are. So they're they're being influenced. Which by the way, spiritual gods and goddesses, these fallen angels, demonic activity are influencers. They influence people uh to be attractive towards sin. Make it very because see they they claim it's love, but it's lust. love. You see, people um in a heterosexual um marriage still get divorced. Okay? Well, people in um man-on-m marriage or woman onwoman marriage also are getting divorced. So, what is the issue? It isn't that it's love. It's the heart of the individual and the identity of this individual. So, let's talk about the identity. So when God made us in his image, there was something that was very interesting that we need to think about here for a moment. And as a believer in Christ, we need to open our eyes up a little bit more to this. And this is neat revelation. My dad was sharing a bit of this with me um when we were at the Airbnb that we had to stay at for almost a week uh while we waited for this rental to get ready. But uh he was sharing the image of God in Adam and some teaching on this and I guess he taught this in Spanish. I don't know where it is and what the title the message is. So I'm building on that using that and going to be teaching on it and of course I don't have it the full way that he does. But here's what I do know. When Adam was created, he wasn't born. and he was created and he was created in God's image. What did Adam see when he looked at God? It's a good question. Did he see himself? You have to wonder about this because if we're made in his image, and I'm not saying that I'm God. Not saying that at all. But I am saying that there is a part of me that resembles God because in his image we resemble God. So he's a being, a man that has two legs, two arms, two eyes, hair, and he's spirit. Uh so you know, you got to sit here and you got to think about this and look at this wondering, you know, what did Adam see? Especially, you know, if he looked at himself in the reflection of a spring or a pond in that garden of Eden, I know rivers ran through there. Did he see himself or did he see God? Because see, God and Adam had a special bonding relationship which this is all before sin had came into existence. Adam and God had this beautiful relationship. That is love. By the way, love is Jesus Christ going to the cross and dying for you. Here's the interesting part. There are some people in this world who would die for their partner.

But it's 98% certain that that partner would not reciprocate. So this is why it's not love, it's lust. So now what I want to do is I want to take you to that image and I want to take you to the relationship of God so that you can see what Paul was talking about when he talked about the hope of glory. So now let's go to Moses and see what relationship he had with God because his relationship also was to the point of let me see you. Let's go Exodus 33:18-23. And he said please show me your glory. Now the conversation that God and Moses has just been h handling or that they just had you know here's Moses talking about with God. Okay. Well, you did all this. Who are you? And and he's asking because see, when you become a believer in Christ, you one of the things that we shared while we were waiting in this Airbnb as we were just chatting there one evening sitting out on the front porch getting eaten by mosquitoes. Uh one of the things that we were all talking about was how the Lord spoke to us. It was interesting. It we all had similar stories. We had a question in our mind and we all wondered whether we should go ask somebody or or go look it up and figure out but we couldn't figure it out on our own. And eventually we kind of asked God, what is this? What did you mean about this? And here Moses is asking God, who are you? Show me your glory. We're going to get into the scripture. And as we were all sharing our little testimonies here about what that was. Within the next day, we had either turned on the radio, a preacher was teaching what we just questioned or we opened up the Bible and there's the answer we just questioned. Going to show how God was listening and that he is real and he's answering our questions. So here this this affected all of us in this point where we had this relationship with God that just transformed us in such a way that now that we had that experience we can't go back. We keep going forward. We go to God now. Amen. So let's read what Moses did because he just asked show me please show me your glory. So God says, then he says, "I will make all my goodness pass before you."

Isn't that awesome? God is answering Moses because this is what God wants to do. But there there's a cautionary thing going on here. Watch this. I will make all my goodness pass before you and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. But he said, "You cannot see my face, for no man shall see me and live." And the Lord said, "Here is a place by me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be while my glory passes by that I will put you in the cliff of the rock and will cover you with my hand while I pass by. Then I will make then I will take away my hand and you shall see my back but my face shall not be seen.

We're in sin. So our flesh cannot be in the presence of God. We cannot um see the face of God. But we know him. It's like our testimonies. We were able to ask a question. We were able to receive the answer. And we were able to go forward with that answer knowing God is real. Now here Moses had this special beautiful moment with God in which God says I will show you. I will pass all my goodness in front of you and I will declare the name of the Lord to you. This is what God did for Moses. Now let's stop for a minute and let's go back to the image of God. Now, what is an image? Have you ever looked in a mirror and saw yourself and saw something as a mirror image of yourself, a reflection? I, you know, in we're in a a duplex right now. My family is, my parents are in one of the houses and we share a wall and I'm in this, but the two homes are mirror images, but they're opposite. Kitchen's on the opposite of the house, bedrooms are on the opposite house. So imagine when God created Adam in his image, we were mirror image of God. So God sees himself in us which is his glory because we are his offspring.

So now go to the reverse of that. When you see God, remember, you can't see him with your eyes. You can't see his face, but you know, you know that he's there and he's answering your questions. What do you see? You know, you have a knowledge that cannot be stopped or defeated by anyone. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. This is a mystery. This is a mystery. Look what Paul says. Colossians 1:27, "To them God w to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."

What's hope? You see, even though I can't see his face and I now know he's there, I'm hoping and I know and I know and I know that when I get to heaven, I will see his face and the what I look like, I'm going to see that in him because the resemblance is there. He loved me so much that he made me a part of him and what he looks like. That my friend is the hope of glory. Oh hallelujah. Hallelujah Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And you know you will know this as you spend time with the Lord. I've been teaching on this for years now. Get into the secret place with the Lord. Get into the secret place with the Lord. Get into that relationship with the Lord. Start talking with him. You know, it it makes a huge difference when you have that talk with him. You know, because yeah, you get angry. There are things you don't understand. I get it. He gets it. So what you do is you just say, "Lord, I don't understand why is homosexuality a sin. Why when we need to love them?" Well, we do love them because Jesus said in John 3:16, "For God, him so loved the world." By the way, every person is made in his image. They're all a part of him, but they live in sin. Sin is what drove us away from him. But he's still there. But notice how he had to protect Moses by putting his hand over him so he wouldn't kill him. Well, then there you go. Now we are in a situation where God has to put a barrier over us. And there must have been some sort of barrier there to begin with because if Adam was flesh, even though he hadn't sinned, maybe the flesh was different during that time. I don't know. Well, I'm not an expert in that area, but I do know that God kept Adam safe. And when Adam sinned and he went, he still came and helped Adam and Eve as they established mankind. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Go on. Romans 5:1 and2. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. I want to stop there for just a moment. The hope of glory. Hope is seeing something that you cannot see physically yet. It's a hope. You hope someone would do the dishes. You hope someone would do the laundry. You hope that someone would be righteous enough to come lead this world. You know, there's a hope. You can't see it, but you're hoping for it. Well, faith is acting on that hope. Okay. Now that I'm hoping because I know that I have faith that I will be in the presence of God and that I will see his face. Maybe not in this flesh, but I will see him in eternity. Look what I get to have. Says we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. So even though I know that God is punishing those in sin, God is righteous. So he's going to punish those that refuse him. You know, I know a lot of people can't understand that. Oh, he's a loving, righteous, mighty God. Well, he is righteous. He is loving. But if you reject him, what else do you expect him to do? You know, sometimes you have to come to the realization that you're like this and he's like that. He's the creator. We're the created. And when you come into that humility, now you get to have this peace. So, even though he's punishing the world, like we're about to hit, we've had this beautiful cool weather in Southern California, Lake Elsar, and uh I'm now in Missouri and uh oh boy, we are hitting the 90s and going to hit the hundreds here very shortly and with some high humidity. Well, you know what I'm going to start doing? Because if I had a breakthrough in Southern California, we're going to have a breakthrough here. I've already started praying and I'm getting in here because we can have a breakthrough in the weather just like he did in Southern California. If he can do it there, he can do it here. So, we're definitely going to be praying and I welcome me, you know, or join me in uh getting uh prayer for your area, for your weather, because if you notice, things are getting worse, hotter, and hotter. It's a punishment for the land. But now, even though I know that punishment's going on, he comforts me. He provides what I need to remain cool. So those that reject him, they don't get that comfort. They don't get that. There is there is a distinction. So, you know, I beg you, you know, get humble before the Lord and talk with him. Find out who he is and have a relationship with him. Talk with him. Read his word. You know what? Again, I can't teach that enough. I've been teaching him for like three years now. Let's continue on in the scripture. We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Verse two, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

You know what is glory?

When we use the word glory like in our current language, especially English language, we look at glory as, oh, uh, that person's earned it. He's done something so good. I give him the glory or the praise. Look at him. He did really good. He earned it. He He did what he was supposed to do. Well, that is God. And God has glory around him. But it is a physical thing. Let's continue on in scripture because I want to show you the glory in the temple here in just a moment. Ephesians 1:17 through18 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the the father of glory we or the father of glory may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. You see in that relationship that peace that he gives you you have a knowledge. Earlier I said I know that I know that I know that he's real. Not because I've seen him with my eyes, but because I've seen him move to answer the questions I've asked and I've gone to him. And when you do that, he answers. He's just waiting for you to come to him. And you're thinking, well, why doesn't he come to me? Why don't you repent, humble yourself, and then go to him, then he will come to you. He doesn't mix with sin. He has glory that around that surrounds him. That glory does not mix with sin. So you have to repent to remove the sin so you can come into his presence. That's how this works. Hallelujah. Verse 18. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know that that you may know what is the hope of his calling. What are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints? You see, you have an inheritance in him because you're his image. You are a child of the son of God. And because you are a child, you have the right to everything that he has and he wants to give it to you. Go back to the temple when the first temple of Solomon was built. He I don't have the scriptures here. You again, this is some homework for you. I'm trying to teach you how to get in the word of God and look this up. Get into the temple and go look go to uh Solomon. You can see that he built the first temple and the glory was so powerful that nobody could enter. Not even the priest. That was the glory of God inhabiting that temple. Well, the temple was destroyed and Israel went into captivity and it was rebuilt 70 years later. So, the children that saw the initial glory who now are seeing the second temple built wept. They sobbed because it was nothing compared to that first temple because it was substantial. The glory was physical. It was substantial. So when you hope for the glory, it needs to be a f physical substantial thing that comes out of you and surrounds you because you put God first in your life because you know that you know that you know that he is real and that you live for him and you choose to live for him. That is God. You are a child of the most high and have the right to the inheritance that he provides.

Psalm 33. But you, oh Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. You see,

let me give you a dose of reality. People out here that don't believe in God, they're walking dead. They're the walking dead. They're dead. They have no life in them. They deal with things that they can't shouldn't if they just simply repent. But go to Revelation. Read Revelation. What do these people do during that seven-year tribulation period? They start getting angrier and angrier with God. They don't repent. It's It's as if they want God to bless them for hating him. Who would ever do that? Who would ever I mean, if somebody's abusing you, you don't ask, you don't bless them for abusing you. That that that's wrong. But see that spirit of delusion that that it's a spiritual matter and you can't see, you can't hear, and you're having to deal with this. All you have to do though is repent. Jesus, I'm sorry. I messed up and I'm asking you to forgive me. Look at the guy on the cross with Jesus. He defended Jesus first because the other thief on the cross was blaspheing Jesus, kicking the man while he was down, hanging. Both of them were hanging on the cross. All three of them were. And he's still kicking him while he's down. And the other thief says, "What are you doing? Stop it. This guy's innocent. We're guilty." And because he acknowledged that he's guilty. He said to Jesus, "Remember me when you enter your kingdom." And Jesus says, "I promise you tonight we will be in paradise together." And that's Jesus forgive. He will forgive you of anything. And if you're one of those people who, well, I heard in the Bible that there is an unforgivable sin and that has to be me. No. Listen, an unforgivable sin just means when you die, that's it. Too late. So, in today's life, you need to repent. You need to be talking to God and you need to be saying, "Okay, Lord, I'm sorry. I messed up." Do it now. Do it while you still can. Because you know what? Repentance has an expiration date. When we enter into the seven-year tribulation period, which is coming up very quickly here, by the way, the body of Christ will not be there for it. So, the body of Christ will be removed. You as a repentter are part of the body of Christ. Repent. Now, if you choose to not call Jesus the son of God, that is on you and you have an issue. Jesus Christ is the son of God. Let go of whatever is holding you from saying that. Say it. Say it out loud. Jesus, you are the son of God. Today, you know, I wasn't sure I was going to teach a message today. I've got a cold sore in my lip. I've got bug bites all over me. Uh I was running a fever last night. Been sick as you can kind of hear a little bit of it. And uh fever broke in the middle of the night. Thank you, Jesus. Uh, you know, see, I'm I'm a believer, but I still deal with sickness. I still deal with things that are going on in this world. Well, Jesus, hallelujah. I just said, "Lord Jesus, I'm blessed." And do you know that after I said that, because at first I was very achy and sore when I got up this morning, and I thought, man, I can't move. I have an art. My lower back was really killing me. And then as soon as I said that, wow, I got up, got moved. I put some headphones on. I put some Christian music on. I let it refresh my soul and my spirit. And look, here I am teaching the word of God. Cuz see, this doesn't matter. I don't care what I look like. I don't You know what? I'm a child of the Most High and I'm in his image. And we're going to have good days and we're going to have bad days. But I just simply say the Lord bless me and he does. That is the hope of glory. Seeing that I can go to him in spite of whatever's going on in this world

and I can let it go. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Look at Psalm eight. See, this is what I'm talking about. This is how God thinks of us. Psalm 83-5. When I consider your heavens, this is the author of the writer of Psalm. The work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you have ordained. He's talking to God. What is man that you are mindful of him and the son of man that you visit him. I mean, what are we? We are sinful creatures, but we're made in his image. We are his children and because of that we have the hope of glory and he thinks of us all the time mindful he's always he's so mindful he know he knows how much hair I have on my body

and the son of man that you visit him verse five for you have made him a little lower than the angels and you have crowned him with glory Glory and honor. You see the hope of glory is the moment you say Lord Jesus you are the son of God and his glory surrounds you. And now when people see you they see God. They see the image of God in you because you're made in his image and you are a child of the most high and you have a hope that that glory can come out. All it takes is Lord Jesus I'm sorry you are the son of God. Look what John has to say about it. 1 John 3:1, "Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us." By the way, that's love. Because God knows because it's prophesied in Revelation that they're still going to reject him no matter what. And yet, he still made them in his image. He still loved them, knowing full well they would reject him. That's love, my friend. Not lust. Love uh has bestowed that we should be called Let's Let's read this verse again from the beginning. Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us that we should be called children of God. Therefore, the world does not know us, but it did not know him because it did not know him. Therefore, the world does not know us because it did not know him. You see, John is clearly identifying a distinguished uh line here between a believer and an unbeliever. For us who believe, we hope and we have that hope in the glory. But as an unbeliever, look at because it did not know him. They don't know him. As I shared earlier our testimony, if each individual, my family had an experience with God that we were able to question something and have that answer given to us. I mean, in a very relative short amount of time. Imagine now we know him and because we know him, we experience his love and his favor which places his glory around us. That is God. That is the hope of glory that I get to stand in, live in, and walk with in the name of Jesus. Oh, because he made me in his image so that when people look at me, they see his glory. Oh, hallelujah. Please put God first in your life. Please repent. Put him first. Speak with him and give him the glory. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the hope of your glory. We thank you for creating us in your image. We thank you for letting us be your children, that we have an inheritance. And Lord, I'm grateful that I chose you, not the world. And I pray that others choose you as well. And repent and give you the glory, honor, praise, and strength. Thank you, Father God. Jesus name. Amen. Well, I forgot my box of tissues, so I got to get off. I had to go get it. God bless you. I love you. Repent. Spend time with the Lord. Spend time in the word of God. And uh I should be getting more messages out to you uh in a relatively quicker time than before. I currently don't have a job, so I'll be doing this a lot more, giving God the glory. I love you. I'll see you in the next message. Bye.
