Top of Page End Times BABYLON IS FALLEN Here is the chapter from my book Man’s Final Destiny, where I deal with the fall of the great harlot. Revelation 18:1-3 “After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.’” The word “illuminated” indicates that something that had been hidden is now revealed; what’s been revealed here is that the demonic infrastructure that gravitated around the worship of self has been exposed. The demons of commercialism and exploitation that pandered to the corrupt vices of the masses have now been exposed and deposed. ​ The system of false religion and secular humanism that entangled humanity is not needed any more; is abolished in one hour and with them go all the demons that influenced all that selfishness and debauchery. Like a communist dictator, the beast will demand the total and complete sacrifice of his followers, their one and only goal from now on is to be prepared to fight against the Lamb; victory at all cost will be their hopeless cry. Revelation 18:4-8 “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, “I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.” Therefore her plagues will come in one day — death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.’” We need to remember that these die-hards who come out of her now were eyewitnesses to Jesus the Lamb of God coming down on the clouds of heaven and rapturing away the saints, they also lived through the five months of hell on earth and the ministry of the two witnesses. They saw the feet of Jesus split the Mount of Olives and provide a way of escape for the elect, and the raising from the dead of those who chose martyrdom. Why are these die-hards having a change of mind now? The demons that deceived them have been driven out and locked down! For the first time ever or maybe in a long time they now get to see the misery of their condition and repent by refusing to take the mark of the beast. Many of the environmentalists and secular humanists will see for the first time the demons of self-righteousness that were behind all their labors. With these demons out of the way, Satan will demand that they worship and forfeit themselves to him, for it will be known to all, that if they take the mark of the beast they will be with the devil forever. Revelation 18:14 “The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all.” The world’s entire economic system is destroyed in one hour and now they find themselves at the mercy of the beast and will find none. Revelation 18:23-24 “The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth” Selfish ambition and its partnership with demonic entities is the root of all bloodshed and the engine for the persecution of the saints who refused to get in bed with the god of this world. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” Here is the chapter from my book that follows after the judgment of the great harlot. Revelation 19:1-5 “After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, ‘Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.’ Again they said, ‘Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!’ And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, ‘Amen! Alleluia!’ Then a voice came from the throne, saying, ‘Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!’” When Cain’s non-blood sacrifice was rejected by God, Cain got very angry because of jealousy over his brother, because Abel’s blood sacrifice was accepted. In order to understand all the great rejoicing in heaven over the judgment of the great harlot is imperative for us to see the tremendous influence that the demons behind the door of sin have exerted over all mankind through all the ages. Genesis 4:6-7 “So the LORD said to Cain, ‘Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.’” Sin always has an accomplice which opens a door; a person who does wrong (sins), must go through that opened door, if he or she repents and does the right thing: that is, applies the blood sacrifice (asks God for forgiveness) on the lintel and the two door posts (take our sins to the cross of Jesus for those of us today) of that opened door, then that person will disarm the demon behind the door of his power to harm them, and will gain mastery over that demon. But if pride which is rooted in self righteousness prevents them from repenting and doing the right thing, then those demonic entities will demand blood from them. That is why Cain ended up murdering his brother Abel. All shed human blood, beginning with the righteous blood of Abel and ending with the judgment of the great harlot, is crying out to God for vengeance. God’s judgment is two-fold, he judges the humans first according to the laws that applied to them in the dispensations from which they came. If they repented and made atonement for their sins, God forgives them and raises them up from the dead which was part of their judgment. If they did not repent, then they will remain dead until the final judgment which will take place at the end of one thousand years. But the demonic accomplices of humanity have never been judged yet, because once the person they enticed to sin died, they were free to torment someone else, usually a family member and continued to follow their descendants. Luke 16:27-28 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’” Perhaps the most frustrating thing for the saints in heaven is seeing these demonic creatures wreak havoc upon the whole of humanity with such impunity. These demons would say to Jesus: Have You come to torment us before our time. They knew that as long as man does not apply the blood of Jesus to the open door of sin, they had free range. But finally the hour of their judgment has come: this entity called Babylon the great—false religion, which was their vehicle with which they could operate freely in our earthly dwellings, has now become their eternal prison of torment. At this great sight every heavenly dweller rejoices mightily for the Lord’s vengeance is fulfilled. “He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her. Again they said, ‘Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!’” I hope that you are able to read the entire book, and that you are able to gain spiritual inside as to the importance of staying away from participating in spiritual adultery. Isaiah 44:20 “He feeds on ashes (those who participate in the worshipping of worthless idols); a deceived heart has turned him aside; and he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, ‘Is there not a lie in my right hand?’” Jonah 2:8 “Those who regard worthless idols forsake their own Mercy.”

Top of Page End Times THEY WILL MINGLE WITH THE SEED OF MAN Daniel 2:43 “As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.” In this fascinating verse from Daniel’s writings we are presented with an end time mystery that has baffled many theologians for centuries; who did Daniel mean by they will mingle, when speaking about creatures that will be interacting with the humans that will be alive during the times of the end? They, within the context, seems to imply creatures of non-human origin, since the seed of man is a phrase that its used to represent the entire human race, literally it is saying that, they, non-humans will mingle with humans, or try to mingle, for Daniel says that they will not succeed. What other non-human creatures are there that have intelligence, personality, a desire for human likeness, and interact with the human race in a regular basis? Demonic entities! Since the days of the fall of Adam, the devil has been working hard to change the human race, his aim is to reengineer humans to be earthly vehicles that his demonic hordes can use to conquer and rule the earth with; since demons are spirits and the earth’s environment requires a physical body to operate within it, the demons cannot physically conquer our tangibly based human realm unless they possess a physical body. Genesis 6:4-5 “There were giants (nephillim, which means fallen or fallen mighty ones) on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God (a reference to non-human spiritual creatures, angels or demons) came into the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown (famous for their supernatural abilities). Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” We see that before the days of Noah the devil was hard at work in his endeavor to rule and govern the earth through hybrids who were void of conscience, and endowed with superhuman abilities, ruthless, and hell bent on the subjugation and destruction of the entire human race. If we want to know how that scenario applies to us today, then we need to understand what took place back them, because as Jesus tells us: Matthew 24:37-38 “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark.” Basically, Jesus is telling us that if we want to understand how the end of our present age is going to come about, we can read about the conditions that prevailed during the prelude to the flood, and draw a comparison with the conditions that will exist in the earth before He returns to once and for all put an end to all demonic tampering with the human race. When the sons of God came into the daughters of men and they bore children to them. The sons of God is a reference to non-human spiritual creatures, that can be applied to angels or demons. Just like the phrase, the seed of men is a phrase that applies to the entire human race, good or bad. Our first problem that we need to solve is that these spiritual creatures came into the daughters of men and they bore children to them. So here we have what our opening Scripture was describing, they will mingle with the seed of men. Our problem has to do with the mechanics of how does a spiritual creature that does not have a physical body impregnates a physical human woman? One possibility is that, since spirits can transform themselves and take a human form, for we know from the Bible that God’s holy angels have that ability, that somehow, that is how those women were impregnated. Reason does not allow me to believe that, for if that were the case, then the fallen angels wouldn’t need physical bodies to exercise their rule over our physical realm, they could just take any shape they desire and be done with it, I mean, if they can transformed themselves into a physical body that can get a woman pregnant, then they could kill any body they wanted to, for if they can produce life, they can also take it. Matthew 22:30 “For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.” Jesus makes it clear that once we are resurrected from the dead, even with our new physical bodies, we will not have the ability to reproduce, for our new physically eternal bodies will be like that of the angels that do not reproduce. If you are a spiritual entity without the capability to reproduce physically, how do you get a woman pregnant with your own seed? My best guess is, through artificial insemination. Genesis 6:2 “That the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful (good, a good, good thing); and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.” In the original Hebrew in the Strong’s concordance, the word translated beautiful comes from # 2896 and it means, good, a good, or good thing. From our male human perspective a woman is a good thing for us, that is if we want to fulfill our desires for a compatible mate that will help us, not only to procreate, but to be our companion for the rest of our lives. From a fallen son of God perspective, a good woman means nothing more than a suitable womb that will allowed them to fertilize it with altered genetic human genes, where they can engineer human physical bodies suitable for their demonic host. You may say that such technical knowledge was not available back them, where do you think our present technological advances in genetic engineering came from? Hitler and his occult obsessed inner circle! The same demons that drove men of old to assist them in recreating the human race after their demonic likeness before the flood, are the very same demons that drove Hitler’s scientists into the great many technological advancements of the twentieth century. One of the dirty little secrets that present day scientists do not want you to know is, that all the research (genetic manipulation) that Hitler’s doctors performed on pregnant women in those concentration camps, especially woman that were pregnant with twins, were the very foundation for many if not all of our present day medical breakthroughs. We are living in the last generation, just like it was before the flood of Noah’s day, they, demonic angels, are busy at preparing for themselves physical human bodies that they can indwell and take over with and rule with their out of this world abilities, you see the obsession in the movies with these super heroes everywhere today. Now Daniel tells us that they will not succeed, but you know that that is not stopping them from trying, and by understanding what is going on, it helps us to understand that we are living in the end of the age. The reason why it will not work is because, they do not have enough time today in a woman’s life span to perfect the monsters that they created in days past. I believe that since women lived life spans of over nine hundred years back then, they were able to impregnate a woman over and over again, each time with a new genetic modification based on what her last offspring lacked. It is believed that this went on for hundreds of years, you add to that the probability of cross breading and you can create almost any monster with the qualifications that you want. Secular human history is full of depictions of the many horrendous creatures that they were able to create, many of them were part animal part human, but their goal was to create physical entities that lacked a conscience, for that is the part of the human soul that allows humans to turn away from their evil ways. Evidently they succeeded for we are told that: Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. The sons of God are spiritual creatures, that means that they are made of air or breath, that is how they indwelled the physical monsters that they created and the physical humans that enabled them. The flood was designed to drown all the contaminated creatures, to rid the earth of these wicked spirits that had found a way to manipulate humankind, and through them to contaminate the entire earth. The longevity of the human race was, I believe, shorten for this very purpose, to prevent them from having the time that was needed for them to perfect these monsters again. To overcome this deficit, the demonic realm is counting on computer technology that will allow them to run all the possible mutations within a computer program, before they introduce their perfected models once again. I believe that this is already taking place in secret laboratories around the world both in humans and animals. One of the signs to look for is that of mutated animals that somehow escaped those places where they were genetically engineered, these mutations are been found more and more often. Many of them are dead, but some are found living in the wild somewhere, any attempt to identify such mutated creatures is quickly done away with and the evidence promptly disappears from public records. Since their, these demonic entities aim, is to contaminate every human on the face of the earth, just like they did in the days of Noah, a computerized network is needed to categorize and analyze as much physical human data as possible. In the last decade we have seen not only the mapping of the human genome, but extensive research into the genetic composition of humans all around the world, including people from remove tribes that live in isolated places. Their greatest achievement will not come out of the monsters that they are so feverishly trying to engineer, but out of their current genetic research, that I believe will allow them to change the genetic human gene that allows our conscience to know right from wrong, once you remove that, like they did during the days of Noah, humanity becomes worthless to God. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.” When the mark of the beast is introduced, it will be physically branded on the right hand, or on the forehead, this mark will bear the name, or nature of the beast, and the number of his name, his genetic code. That is why those who receive the mark of the beast can never be redeemed, for their consciences will be seared for ever with a demonic genetic code that removes their conscience, their ability to repent. That is what is being perfected right now, that is how close we are to the return of Jesus, for if He doesn't come back soon, the entire human race will be doomed. Genesis 7:1 “Then the Lord said to Noah, ‘Come into the ark, you and your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.’” Those of us who are covered by the blood of Jesus have been genetically altered, for we are a new creation, our old genes have passed away. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.” That is why the antichrist cannot be revealed until we are removed, for once we become born again the devil cannot tamper with our new nature, for it is Christ’s nature, the image of the last Adam that will finally be completed on resurrection day. Friends that is how close we are, by all means make yourself ready, for your sake and for the sake of your household.

Top of Page End Times THE END OF DAYS Lamentations 4:18 “They tracked our steps so that we could not walk in our streets, our end was near; our days were over, for our end had come.” Throughout the history of mankind there has always been a group of people fascinated with the end of things, the end of days, and with the end of time. Maybe it is because we experience the death of things on a daily basis, we are not so much aware of it, those of us who live in modern cities that provide us with the comfort of buying things that have already been killed and packaged, but think back to earlier times. I remember when I was a kid growing up in Cuba, even though we lived over the ocean waters, for our house was built on stilts, we still raised chickens on the back deck of the house, and every time my mom was going to fix chicken for dinner one of them had to die. We kept live fish in the well tank of our boat that was tied to the front of the house, and every time that we were going to have fish for dinner, we went to the tank, got the fish out, killed it and cooked it. ​ We did that with pigs and turkeys that we raised for special occasions as well, I even remember a goat that we raised once, it chewed through the wooden boards on the floor and fell through and ended up hanging itself on the chain that it had tied around its neck while its hind legs were dangling over the water. So that the experience of the cycles of life and death, beginning and endings, are well seated within our DNA. But how does the Bible define what we call the end of days, not just generally as of the end of the age, but our personal end as well? Psalm 39:4 “Lord, make me to know my end, and what is the measure of my days, that I may know how frail I am.” David’s prayer gives us great insight as to why we humans are either fascinated, fearful, or willfully indifferent, to the awareness of the end of things as we know them. How many times are we reminded of our mortality? How many times do we ignore it? At the heart of David’s prayer was the cognitive reality that to ignore our personal mortality reduces our ability to prepare ourselves, and our posterity, for the end of the age that will one day come upon the final generation of humans that will live to see that day. David strongly implies that knowing about his personal mortality as well as the duration of his days while here on the earth, would make him more sensitive to the frailty of life. Now here is the implication, it is extremely hard for us humans to really value human life if we are not fully aware of the value of our own life. How do we react to news that a flood or a landslide killed hundreds of people on a far away distant land? First thought that comes to mind is, those things are always happening to those people out there. How do we react when a tragedy like that happens in our own neck of the woods? New York city is still three thousand miles from where I lived in September 11, 2001 and yet I felt, and I still feel, like I was right there when that tragedy happened. Now why is that? Because when we are personally affected by an event that causes many lives to perish, their death becomes more real to us. And that is the idea that Psalm 39 is trying to convey to us. Listen to what it was that caused David to ask God to give him the revelation of: Make me to know my end. Psalm 39:2-3 “I was mute with silence, I held my peace (became indifferent) even from good; and my sorrow was stirred up. My heart was hot within me; while I was musing (just thinking about it), the fire burned. Then I spoke with my tongue (took action).” Wow! What a powerful description of what moved him. First David said to himself, I am going to keep my mouth shut, I don’t care if it is good or bad, I’m just going to stay out of it. Isn’t that what so may of us do today? Society is going to hell in a hand basket all around us, so many are dying of drug overdose, so many others are shot dead on a daily basis, and well, we just feel so helpless that we tell ourselves to ignore it, for after all, there is nothing that we can really do about it, or so we feel. Then David said that, his sorrow was stirred up, what was it that caused David’s sorrow to be moved? He said that while he was just sitting around thinking about the situation and doing nothing, the fire burned. There are two ways to interpret that, one is that while we sit around and muse and do nothing, the fire continuous to rage and consume all around us unopposed, inflicting a heavy toll on society. The other way to interpret that is, that while we are witnessing the heavy toll on life that our indifference is in some way aiding and abetting, it is what causes our inward fire to burn that moves us to do something. What David did was he prayed. Prayer is recognition that we ourselves are unable to change the situation by our own mortal means. It is amazing to me that David in his prayer did not ask God to give him strength to deal with the situation that he was too weak to handle, instead he asked God to reveal to him his weaknesses to the utter most, for this is what David say: That I may know how frail I am. This is so amazing, because it defies human logic. How is me knowing how weak in reality I really am is going to solve the situation? There is a Scripture parallel that applies here I believe, and it is found in the entire book of the prophet Habakkuk. Habakkuk 1:2-4 “O Lord, how long shall I cry, and You will not hear? Even cry out to You, ‘Violence!’ And you will not save. Why do you show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; there is strife, and contention arises. Therefore the law is powerless, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; therefore perverse judgment proceeds.” Habakkuk was a righteous Israelite man who lived among the sinful people of the nation of Israel of that time. He is praying to God and he is asking God why He is not answering his prayer, Habakkuk tells God that he is even pointing out the wrong doing that he sees when he cries out publicly, Violence! Back in Bible days it was customary to cry out publicly, or to publish, when something bad was happening that could affect those around them. In the case of a leprous person having to pass near anyone else that was not infected with leprosy, the victims of leprosy were required by law to cry out loudly, Unclean! Unclean! To warn those around then not to come in close contact with them. In the same manner when a sin was being perpetrated against another in the nation of Israel, it was required of the Israelites to expose the wrong doing publicly, and that is what Habakkuk is saying to God he did, to no avail. Then Habakkuk says this to God: Why do you show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble? Basically Habakkuk is saying, Lord if You are not going to answer my prayer of action against lawlessness, why then do you allow me to witness so much evil? After all, if you do not answer my prayer, there is absolutely nothing that I can do about the wrong that is all around me. However God is trying to teach Habakkuk what David already knew and was teaching us on Psalm 39. Habakkuk 1:5 “Look among the nations and watch—be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it was told you.” So God takes the prophet Habakkuk into a vision of the near future, and reveals to him what dreadful end the nation of Israel has coming because of all their sinfulness that they refused to repent from. Habakkuk is in shock when he witnesses first hand what the utter devastation of all those around him will be. However what troubles him the most is the way in which God executes judgment on Israel. I guess Habakkuk expected some holy and righteous nation to be used by God to judge his faltering nation, but instead God uses a nation that is far worse, as far as sinfulness and cruelty is, than Israel ever was, to judge them. This is how God describes the nation that He will use to judge Israel for all their sinfulness that they have committed against Him. Habakkuk 1:7 “They are terrible and dreadful; their judgment and their dignity proceed from themselves.” So that Habakkuk’s prayer changes in emphasis, instead of saying how bad the Israelites really are that lived all around him, now he is asking God how can you use a nation that is far worse than Israel could have ever been to judge us? And then this is what Habakkuk says: Habakkuk 2:1 “I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected.” Then God takes Habakkuk into a vision of the future end of days, when the entire earth, along with all the nations, will be judged by God for all their ungodly acts that they have committed against Him. The experience is so traumatic that Habakkuk finally realizes that the judgments of God for the end of days are so completely dreadful, that he now understands how frail human life truly is, and instead of feelings of inadequacy and helplessness, or complaining about all the wrong that was all around him, instead he realizes that the only hope for all humans lies in God’s mercy. Habakkuk 3:2 “O Lord, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy.” David’s prayer was: Make me to know my end, and what is the measure of my days, that I may know how frail I am. Notice how the prayer of Habakkuk mirrors what the prayer of David was, Revive Your work in the midst of the (my) years. I believe that there are no humans that have ever experienced how dreadful the judgments of the end of days are, and who have not prayed this prayer in earnest: Dear Lord, IN THE DAY OF YOUR WRATH, REMEMBER MERCY! We are living in the midst of dire and difficult days, to say the least, for lawlessness and perversion are rampant every where we look. But let our prayer emphasis change from, God look at all the evil that is all around us, when are You going to judge it? To the New Testament revelation that says, The more that sins abounds, the more that the grace of God abounds. Let us see what is going on all around us as an opportunity to usher in the grace of God. And we can pray that prayer "in wrath remember mercy" sincerely, only if we have felt the heart of God in this matter. For our God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. That is why Jesus went to the cross.

Top of Page End Times REST IN TIMES OF TROUBLE 2 Thessalonians 1:7 “And to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels.” Even for well disciplined persons, we can all agree, that we are living in the midst of distress and highly contentious days. There are so many misguided people out there, many of which have a huge platform that allows them to stir up trouble and to sow the seeds of hatred and division, just for the sport of it, who do not care in the least if their rhetoric harm others. ​ However, if we understand the spirit behind it, it will make it easy for us Christians to understand what all this chaos is all about and help us not to get caught up in the emotional turbulence of these last days. ​ Proverbs 10:12 “Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.” The root of all the contentions that flare up constantly all over the world is the spirit of hatred, but as long as the spirit of love and forgiveness has the upper hand, the strife is contained. But if it seems that strife and contentions are ruling the day, maybe it is because we are living in the last days, because Jesus told us that during the last days the love of many would grow cold. Matthew 24:12 “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” So the key for us believers is not to get caught up in the emotional hatred of the day, but rather continue in love, forgiving one another, even as the Lord forgave us all and gave to us His unconditional pardon. I know that for many of you out there, you may feel that the hatred and contentions of these last days will not have a direct impact on your personal life, but you have to remember that most people think that way, and if by chance you happen to get caught up in it, because of your failure to prepare yourself for such an occasion, you may end up failing to respond properly in your heart with the spirit of love and compassion, and instead you may lose your composure and respond with evil intent. When the Bay of Pigs invasion took place in Cuba in 1961, I was just 14 years old. Castro’s soldiers came to our house and arrested my dad and brother who was eight years older than me; I guess I was too young so they did not take me. They arrested everyone that they thought might be a threat to them, even though we lived far from the place where the invasion took place. Their strategy was to lock up everybody that might join with the invading forces in an uprising against the communist government. They took all the people that they arrested and put them in the yard of a government owned building. They put machine guns facing them in the two corners of the yard facing the building, and were ordered to shoot them if an invasion started near our town. I was there on the street watching in unbelief, looking as it all took place. Then communist agitators started fanning the flames of hatred toward those innocent people of the town, whose only crime was that they had not previously joined the communist militia in support of Castro. A large crowd of people had gathered on the street to see, like I had, all that was taking place. To my amazement the people of the town who knew the innocence of those who were locked there for no good reason, all of the sudden under the impulse of those communist agitators who were calling out for vengeance, joined them, calling out loud for the execution of those who were locked in the yard. I was there, in their midst, looking at them and saying to myself, that is my dad and my brother in there, how could you say that, but they were blinded by such a strong hatred that all they wanted was blood. I will never forget that day as long as I live, and thankfully the invasion did not come any where near us, so that eventually, after two weeks most of them were released, including my dad and brother. Who were the people in the crowd? Some of them were our very own neighbors. I remember thinking, as they were loudly chanting for the execution of innocent blood, the many times that my dad had so selflessly helped many of those in the crowd in their hour of need, for it was a small town of about three thousand people. But you see there is no reasoning with the spirit of hate, and the only protection against it is for us not to get emotionally involved with the propagation of such hatred, for those agitators can get pretty good at it. 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” When the believers were first filled with the Holy Spirit, many thought that they were drunk with wine, but under the influence of the Spirit of Love those believers transformed the world for the good of all mankind. Those in the crowd back in 1961, that were calling for the murder of innocent people appeared to me to be drunk as well, however their intoxication came as the result of them partaking of the venom of hate. By telling us to be sober, Peter means for us not to get intoxicated with the venom of hatred and strife that the world is constantly peddling. Remember that Peter was an eyewitness of that hatred, as he was there, present, when those who were so blinded by their hatred took our Lord away and beat Him into a bloody mess. What about all the injustices that are continuously taking place? 2 Thessalonians 1:6 “Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you.” God always has the final say. That is why He has appointed a day for every single individual to appear before Him in final judgment. Nobody gets away with anything, for if they repent and our Lord forgives them, then the sufferings that our Lord endured on behalf of all mankind pay in full for their misdeeds as well as ours; now that is something that we should all be glad about. Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” Now those of us who are in Christ have already been judged and have already passed into life eternal, though it does not yet appear like we have, because we are still here in this world. John 11:26 “And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” So that the only reason that we are still here is for our presence to be a restraining force against the spirit of strife and lawlessness that wants to intoxicate the whole world and drive them into killing each other. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 “For the mystery of lawlessness (hatred stirs up strife) is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” What restrains the mystery of lawlessness, which is nothing more than hatred stirring up strife, is the Holy Spirit that is within us, His church. Once the Holy Spirit takes the church away to meet the Lord in the clouds, His restraining presence is removed as well. What that means is that we are privileged to exercise God’s restraining power over all these demonically manufactured crises, through our prayers of binding and loosing that which God has already foreordained to be bound and to be loosed. But how can we be effective in this ministry of restraining and reconciliation if we ourselves get caught up in the vileness and hatred that is so pervasive out there? 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. The evil one is a master at manipulating human emotions and does not care who is right or who is wrong. All that he is interested in is causing hatred to flourish, for that is what stirs up strife and contentions. I once heard screaming outside of my kitchen window that looked into the street to see a fight had broken out between three or four teenage boys. And in the middle of the chaos from inside my kitchen window I prayed: Lord, this is my neighborhood, I bind every spirit of contention that is at work right now between those boys and in my street. Immediately the fracas stopped, amazingly they started to converse as to what offenses they had committed against one another, and it was then that they saw the whole thing as a simple misunderstanding and shook hands in friendship. Needless to say my jaw dropped, as I turn to my wife who was standing next to me and asked her, did that really happened? I was just praying instinctively, but even in my best faith posture I did not expect such immediate results, yet there it was, once the spirit of contention was removed, animosity slipped away and reason prevailed. Imagine the power that the church has if we can just come together in the spirit of unity and enforce our restraining power over all the power of lawlessness that has engulfed our land! PRAYER WORKS!

Top of Page End Times THE END OF THE AGE 1 Corinthians 10:11-12 “Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” Two extremely important points are made by Paul in this portion of Scripture. One being that the church will witness the ends of the ages, notice that is in plural, and the second point is that this period of time will be a perilous time for the children of faith. Why is it that Paul calls it the end of the ages, since we know that the church age will end with the rapture. What other ages is he talking about? In my book Man’s Final Destiny I deal with this in great detail, but here is the basics of it: There are three dispensations that are running right now concurrently: the dispensation of Law represented by the nation of Israel, the dispensation of Human Government represented by the United Nations, and of course the dispensation of Grace represented by the true Church of Jesus Christ. ​ It is worth noting here that right now God only recognizes the true Church of Jesus Christ as the legitimate power authorized by Him to rule over the affairs of men as recorded by Matthew. Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age (the church age).” Amen. After Jesus commanded His disciples to preach the Gospel to the nations of the world, the disciples went out and eventually transformed the world. The doctrine that they preached that changed the nations of the world was known as Judeo Christian principles or values. In the middle of the twentieth century we saw the rebirth of the nation of Israel and the reunification of the nations of the world in the entity we know today as the United Nations, therefore setting the stage for the fulfillment of our opening text on the last generation: Upon whom the ends of the ages have come. As we follow the chronology given to us in the book of Revelation we find that after the true church is removed in the rapture, that the Lord will set up the nation of Israel and the Law of Moses as the legitimate power here on earth to enforce His will upon the nations of the world. The Two Witnesses, two humans that come from outer space as far as the world’s perspective is concern will be empowered by God to enforce the rule of God’s Law over the nations of the world for 1,260 days. The world will reject them as they have rejected the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Then they will make war against the Two Witnesses, and after the days of their prophecy ends they will be killed by the antichrist which will then become the representative of the nations of the world. It will be upon the antichrist and all his followers that have taken his mark that God will bring His final judgment when He judges the kingdoms of this world, or what we know today as the United Nations. The antichrist will rule for 1,290 days before God begins His judgment against him. The judgment upon his governance will last for forty two days, so that he will rule for a total of 1,332 days. 1,290 + 42 = 1,332 / 2 = 666 After 1,332 days he is captured alive, along with the false prophet, and they are both thrown alive into the Lake of Fire, while the rest of humanity who have the mark of the beast will be killed. This will bring about the conclusion of the ages as Jesus returns to the earth and in three days sets up His one thousand years Day of Rest. Hosea 6:2 “After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His sight.” Daniel 12:11-12 “And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away (the antichrist begins his rule), and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty five-days.” 1,290 + 42 = 1,332 + 3 = 1,335 days. Those who do not receive the mark of the beast and survive the antichrist’s ordeal will come out of their hiding places on the third day after the antichrist’s demise. This will be mainly the Jewish remnant that God protects in secret caves while the rule of the antichrist plays out, along with those that somehow survive the antichrist’s regime without taking the mark or being killed. So that understanding how everything is proceeding as it relates to prophecy is vital for us, so that we can be prepared and ready when His unveiling finally begins. But what about the other warning that Paul gave us in our opening text? Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall! 1 Corinthians 10:14 “Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.” It seems odd at first that a warning against idolatry would be issued in relation with the return of our Lord to set up His kingdom. Matthew 24:5,11 “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many...Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.” But as we read about Jesus warning us about false Christ’s and false prophets during the end of the ages we can understand why. Idolatry offers a false Christ and those who follow a false Christ will not be raptured, for they will not recognize the real Jesus when He is revealed. The world will present the return of Jesus as some malevolent alien coming to harm us. Therefore those believers that fail to recognize the real Jesus will have to earn their salvation as martyr’s during the days of wrath. 1 Corinthians 10:19-20 “What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything? Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons.” So that as the end of the ages comes upon us, since we now know that we are in the last generation, it is imperative for us to know whether the traditions that we are following have a solid biblical foundation or whether they originate from the traditions of men. In other words, will you recognize the real Jesus when He is revealed? Jesus warned us against not just false Christ’s but also against false prophets, that is people who proclaim to preach the real Jesus but in reality they are not, for Jesus told us that they will deceive many. Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” One of the greatest lies that many well meaning preachers follow today is that since the book of Revelation is difficult to understand and since there are many different interpretations, they rather not preach on it, for it will bring divisions within the church by offending others who do not agree with their particular interpretation. They rather not preach about it and deprive the rest of the congregation of their readiness to meet Jesus when He is finally revealed. Imagine what would happen if you would use that same criteria about any other subject matter in the Bible? Since you cannot not preach on anything that the Bible teaches without offending someone else! Matthew 24:10 “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.” But Jesus warned us about that as well! Revelation 1:3 “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” I was one of those who got frustrated because I could not understand the Book of Revelation. I knew that I was missing out of a big blessing and did not want to live my Christian life in ignorance of the most important prophesied event that could take place during my lifetime here on earth: the return of Christ. All it took was one simple humbled prayer and continuous persevering in reading and studying prophecy and God took care of the rest. Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” How much is it worth it to you to know about the times and the seasons so that you may be ready when Jesus appears? How much is it worth it to you to find out whether you are serving the real Jesus or whether you are following man made traditions? As you read this, know that there are many Christians all around the world right now facing what to them are insurmountable circumstances. Many have lost their homes to religious persecution. Others have lost their churches to the same. Others are fleeing for their lives as we speak, and many are in dark dungeons and filthy prisons refusing to deny their Lord who saved them. There are no guarantees against us being next, for the passion of the workers of iniquity runs deep, and they will not rest until they silence us and destroy what we believe. So we better make sure that what we believe does not rest on the fallacies of men, but let our faith rest on the solid foundation of the Word of God and His promises to us. For those who try to destroy the Word and what it promises are themselves destroyed by the fire of God’s jealousy to fulfill all that He promised! Jeremiah 23:29 “Is not My word like a fire? says the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rocks in pieces?”

Top of Page End Times THE GENTILES SHALL KNOW Ezekiel 39:23 “The Gentiles shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity; because they were unfaithful to Me, therefore I hid My face from them. I gave them into the hand of their enemies, and they fell by the sword.” Ezekiel 38 and 39 speaks of an end time invasion against the nation of Israel, this invasion is initiated by God’s prompting for a purpose. Ezekiel 38:16 “You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.” ​ Prophecy tells us that in the latter days God will bring His final judgments upon the earth, His judgments will last for seven years and it is called the Day of the Lord’s Wrath, that judgment will culminate in the final battle of Armageddon, where all the armies of the nations of the world will meet their final judgment. Revelation 19:19/21 “And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army...And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse…” Before that final judgment takes place, God in His mercy, will reveal Himself to the nations of the world, so that those who are foolish enough to take a stand against Him will do so in full knowledge of who the real God is. In order for God to show Himself holy to the nations before His seven years final judgment begins, He has to do something that only an all Mighty God can do, wipe out an entire army in an instant, for that will leave no doubt in the mind of the world as to who the real God is. About twenty five hundred years ago God revealed to Ezekiel the name and the location of the nation that would lead a confederacy against the nation of Israel, the nations that would be part of that confederacy and that Israel would cease to be a nation for a season, for He told them through Ezekiel that He would give them over into the hand of their enemies because of their unfaithfulness. Think of it from our present day perspective, were we to have a world wide vote right now to let the people of the world decide who they believe the real God is, the God of the nation of Israel would not fair very well, for the nation of Israel, and the Jews in particular, are the most hated people by the Gentile world of today. Even in some Christian teachings we find that they do not believe that the present day nation of Israel has any heritage left in biblical prophecy, they call it replacement theology, for they teach that Israel forfeited all of their rights of inheritance when they rejected Jesus as their Messiah, and that the church is now the beneficiary of all the promises that the nation of Israel had coming their way for the latter days. When God entered into His covenant with Abraham, the covenant was two-fold, as the sand of the seas meant a physical inheritance, and as the stars of the sky meant a spiritual inheritance. The law came through the ministry of Moses but grace came through our Lord Jesus Christ, Israel and the church are both part of the covenant. So that clearly both Israel and the church play a vital role in end time prophecy, even if one does not accept the heritage of the other, as it is the case in many instances today, so that God has to set the record straight. Before Ezekiel is told that in the latter days the Gentiles will know that God has a place and purpose for the nation of Israel, He lets Israel know that they have a vital role to play along with the church. Ezekiel 39:22 “So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day forward.” From which day forward? From the day that He reveals Himself holy to the nations of the world by destroying their invading army, and removing the church to her spiritual inheritance, and restoring the nation of Israel to their physical inheritance, which is the Holy Land. Ezekiel 39:28-29 “Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who sent them into captivity among the nations, but also brought them back to their land, and left none of them captive any longer. And I will not hide My face from them anymore; for I shall have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel, says the Lord God.” The house or nation of Israel can only be sealed after the church is removed, for that is on whom the Spirit of God is resting right now. Ezekiel 37:11/14 “Then He said to me, ‘Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, “Our bones are dry (without the Spirit), our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!”...I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land (most of the world today see Israel as occupiers, they won't after God intervenes on their behalf). Then you shall know (along with the rest of the world) that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,’ says the Lord.” In verses twelve and thirteen there is a reference to the resurrection from the dead, and we know that when the resurrection from the dead takes place that is when the faithful Philadelphia church will be removed. Ezekiel 37:13 “Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves.” Since the first stage of the first resurrection from the dead includes all the saints of old, and since it is Jesus who will bring them all back to life, the Jewish nation will know then that Jesus Christ is the Lord, God’s Anointed One, as Moses had clearly told them a long time ago. The nation that leads the army that attacks the nation of Israel is identified as coming from the uttermost north, and it is called Gog, the prince of Rosh, which means head. Part of their confederacy will be the nations of Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer, and Togarmah. These are their ancestral tribal names, Persia is today's Iran and they have made it clear that they want the nation of Israel to be wiped off the map. And that brings us to our present day alignment of nations; Russia and Iran have a vested interest in the government of Syria remaining in power, for they are allies, and as of this writing, the US is contemplating the use of military force against the Syrian nation for using chemicals weapons in their war against the insurgents that want to overthrow the present Syrian government that is in bed with Iran and Russia. This conflict of it self, as it stands right now, does not in my opinion constitute enough reason for the northern confederacy to be activated against the nation of Israel, but it is ripe for the last major prophetic event that has to happen before the invasion takes place, to maybe come to pass before all of this is over. Isaiah 17:1 “The burden against Damascus (the capital of Syria). ‘Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap.’” Damascus is one of the oldest city in the world and has been continuously inhabited for most of its history, which means that Isaiah’s prophecy has never been fulfilled, and it awaits its fulfillment today. It does not take much to imagine that if in our present situation a weapon of mass destruction was to be leveled against the city of Damascus, for that is what it would take to wipe out an entire city, and if it was blamed on Israel, that would be reason enough for the allies of Syria to come to her rescue and avenge those whom they blame for such a catastrophe. Could it be that God Himself brings judgment against that city in order to draw Russia and their compatriots into the slaughter end time feast that He has prepared on the mountains of Israel? Ezekiel 39:17-21 “And as for you, son of man, thus says the Lord, ‘Speak to every sort of bird and to every beast of the field: assemble yourselves and come; gather together from all sides to My sacrificial meal which I am sacrificing for you, a great sacrificial meal on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat flesh and drink blood. You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams and lambs, of goats and bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan. You shall eat fat until you are full, and drink blood till you are drunk, at my sacrificial meal which I am sacrificing for you. You shall be filled at My table with horses and riders, with mighty men and with all the men of war,’ says the Lord God. I will set My glory among the nations; all the nations shall see My judgment which I have executed, and My hand which I have laid on them.” Five times the Lord uses the words sacrificial and sacrificing, the point is clear, before the Lord ushers anything new He always requires a blood sacrifice, six million Jews were sacrificed in Nazi camps before the nation of Israel could be established once again, now the world is going to provide the meat for the sacrifice that is going to let all the world know who the real God is once and for all. This is how close we might be to the end of our journey here on earth. If God is able to tell Ezekiel twenty five centuries ago the geopolitical alignments of today, and every detail of the events that are about to happen, then we can be sure that we can trust Him when He tells us that He is coming back soon to redeem us to Himself. Ezekiel 37:27-28 “My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people. The nations also will know that I, the Lord, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.”

Top of Page End Times THE COMPLETION OF GOD’S BUILDING 1 Corinthians 3:9 “For you are God’s fellow workers, you are God’s field, you are God’s building.” After I first got saved in June of 1976, the Lord gave me a couple of dreams that detailed what had happened to me when I first got saved, and the emphasis and direction of my future path in my Christian walk. I did not fully understand the meaning of the first dream back then, but as time passed, I now have a clear understanding of how that one dream was like a road map of my future that God laid out for me to follow. ​ The second dream I had that year, that is still as vivid to me today as when I first had it, I thought it was explained back then, for right after I dreamed it my pastor preached on a Scripture that explained my dream. I’ve never told him about my dream, and I did not even know that there was a Bible verse that would explain to me what that second pivotal dream that I had that year meant had not my pastor preached about it. In the dream I was laying with my face sideways and paralleled to the ground, for that was my perspective. As I laid there my attention was drawn to a pair of hands that reached down to the ground and picked up a white stone. As I visually followed the trajectory of the hands that were carrying the white stone, I saw them place the white stone on a church building that was almost completed. The entire church building was made of individual white stones, the body of the building was completed except for the steeple area that lacked just a few stones. The hands kept coming down and picking up white stones from the ground and placing them on the church as I watched in amazement. Then I saw the hands come down and grab me, that was when I realized in my dream that I was one of the many white stones that the Lord was using to build His church building. You can imagine my surprise and total amazement when the next church service that I attended after that dream, my pastor preached on our next Scripture and on its symbolism. 1 Peter 2:5 “You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” When I told the dream and what my pastor had preached about to one of my spiritual mentors, the very first thing that he told me was that since in the dream the building was on the final stages of construction, what that meant was that the return of our Lord was very near. What my pastor preached on back then, which was something that became clear to me, was that every individual believer like a living stone, is placed within the spiritual building which is the church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, at the moment of their salvation. And that is why that dream was given to me shortly after my salvation, to reveal to me what had happened in the spiritual realm when I first got saved. But it wasn’t just about my salvation that was revealed to me in that dream, as my mentor astutely observed, it was also about the progress concerning the completion of God’s building. In the other dream, which was like a road map for my Christian journey, it ended with me standing before an opened door that was set before me, as I stepped through that door I saw the masses that were waiting to be redeemed on the sea shores, as war raged over the sky above them. It is just now that I’ve come to realize the connection between the two dreams as I see them through the light of our next Scripture: Revelation 6:11 “Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.” While most of the news media puts their focus on the things that are happening that are more meaningful to them, the fact that Christians are dying for their faith in ever increasing numbers all around the world, has widely gone unreported. I heard that North Korea just had a televised execution of about eighty Christians, their crimes were that they had Bibles or pieces of paper with Scriptures written on then. Christians in Syria and Egypt are both experiencing persecution on levels that they had never experienced before. In Iraq, a place that we, the US just liberated, Christians are fleeing the persecution of that nation against them in record numbers. The acceleration of martyrdom and persecution for Christians all around the world can only mean one thing; the completion of God’s building draws very near. Along with that I read a report that anti-Semitism is on the rise as well in Europe, and there is no doubt that as far as nations go, Israel stands alone right now, for it is clear that within present US foreign policy the security of Israel has become expendable. In case you did not notice, here is what the prophecy about the completion of the number of the martyr’s was: Both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren. It clearly implies that there are two different entities that are being persecuted because of the Word of God before the removal of the church takes place and the judgments of God begin. So what is our role, as believers, in the midst of all that is going on right now? Here is what the apostle Peter connected the erection of the church building to: A holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. As living stones we not only comprise the walls of the building, but are also those who minister within the building as well. We are a holy priesthood, and it is our place and duty to offer up spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God, through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let me ask you this: Where is your emphasis in the midst of all this chaos that is going on all around us today? I got to tell you that it is not easy to stay focus on spiritual principles and spiritual realities, especially as I become more aware of all the evil that is rapidly unfolding all around us right now. All the evil things that are going on all around us now are designed to push our buttons, if you will, so that our attention is diverted from what our true ministry is in all of this, so that we need to stay focus and in tune with what our ministry is, in spite of what is going on out there. 1 Peter 2:8 “...They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.” Notice how Peter says that those who were appointed to minister the Word became disobedient to the very Word they were appointed to administer. The Word says that we are to love, not hate, even those who are trying to destroy the very freedoms that we enjoy. If our enemies that hate us so much, can get us into hating them back, then we stumble and become disobedient to God’s Word, and do you not know that that is the very aim of our spiritual enemies? After Fidel Castro took over in Cuba, immediately he began to divide the nation by railing against the rich, and the land owners, and the business people, dividing them by class, race, and social status. Soon after that he stoked the flames of hatred against the class of people that he targeted, and one by one he deposed them of all their worldly possessions until the government owned everything. How did he get away with it? He got them to hate one another to the point that they were willing to give up their own individual freedoms just to see the people they hated so much, punished by the government that they were empowering. At first they got to share in some of the goodies that the government had taken from those they hated, only to see themselves be targeted later by the very government they had empowered, but by the time they realized what monster they had created it was too late. That is exactly what is going on in the United States right now, and without a doubt it is also going on in many other nations as well. But the remedy is always the same, do not give into their enticements to hate, let us remain true to the Christian values that have been handed down to us from the apostles of our faith. We are the spiritual eyes of the nations, we are the spiritual ears of the people that make the nations, we are the heart of Christ in a perverse generation that seeks its own destruction, we stand on the solid foundation of the Word of God, and we cannot be moved! 1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” We are the living stones that have been hewn out of this last generation, used by Jesus to complete the building, which is the spiritual house of praise to Him, we are the church of God in this earth. 1 Peter 2:23-25 “Who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.”

End Times REASON TOGETHER Isaiah 1:18 “‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord, ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.’” From the foundation of the church of our Lord Jesus Christ, people struggled to define what to call it. The believers of the early church were not called Christians until many years later at a church in Antioch. Acts 11:26 “And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.” ​ Before that, they were called the people of the way—for lack of a better name—since Christianity was never presented as a new religion that they were to embrace, but as a new and more accurate way into salvation. Acts 18:26 “So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.” ​ Notice how Christian doctrine was based on reason rather than religious precepts; they explained salvation as an act of faith that was based on the fact that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day, and that He is now seated at the right hand of God, forever making intercession for all of us who believe in Him. 1 Corinthians 2:1-2 “And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony (mystery) of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” As you can see from our opening text, that God is calling us to reason together with Him, and not to the blind adherence of religious dogma. How does a person reason with God? Remember first, that reason deals with facts, so that we need to establish a protocol that is founded on undisputable facts to which we can relate. Though your sins are like scarlet: The fact is that we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. We can never reason with God from a perspective of equality, that would be pride, which would immediately cause us to be kicked out of His holy presence. James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” Some people get frustrated because they do not seem to get any answers from God when they go before Him in prayer. Psalm 51:17 “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart—these, O God, You will not despise.” These two Scriptures lay a solid foundation as to how we are to approach God in order to reason with Him. First we must recognize that we are sinners and that God is holy. Second, that if we come before Him with a spirit of humility and brokenness He will not turn His back on us. They shall be white as snow: The second aspect has to do with the why are we coming before God. First let me say that, coming before God is always the best move that we can ever make, no matter what our circumstances are. But we need to understand God’s protocol and follow it if we are going to be able to reason with God. What I am saying is that some people only go before God when they have a pressing need that they themselves cannot fix. The problem with this approach is that they want to set the agenda as to what it is that they want to reason with God about. But God has His own agenda for us; He wants to implement in our lives a new way of living so that we can rise to His high calling, which is: Isaiah 1:16-17 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.” This is the context from which God issued the promise: Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. How many of us can keep God’s law? No one can! For it is written that All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean: How do we do that? Jesus Christ and Him crucified! Sound reasoning leads us to the fact that within ourselves we are incapable of doing that which is good; therefore, the only conclusion that we can reasonably arrive to, is that we are all in need of a Savior. Romans 7:18 “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.” So far we learned that God is holy, and that those who follow God must also be holy. We are commanded by God to wash ourselves, and to make ourselves clean in order to follow Him. We are also told that we cannot even do that for ourselves; what a wretched condition we find ourselves in—we need a Savior who is able to deliver us from our filth and make us acceptable before God. Who is this Savior, and how does He saves us? Romans 7:24-25 “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!...” Jesus is our Savior because He died for all our sins. Hebrews 9:22 “And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.” Jesus is our Savior who not only died for all our sins, but He is also our Savior who cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Ephesians 1:6-7 “To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” So far reason has lead us into the undeniable facts that God is holy and that we are not. That we are required by God to be good, but the reality is that we are not. And not only that, but that we are unable to be good by our own strength. We conclude then that without a Savior we are forever lost. Isaiah gives us the promise that: Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool, but only if we repent and accept His offer of forgiveness that can only be attained through Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, whose name is forever to be blessed! Isaiah 1:19-20 “‘If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat (be blessed with salvation) the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured (destroyed by your own sins) by the sword’; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” The spirit of pride is the biggest obstacle that keeps those who know that they need a Savior, from accepting Jesus as their Savior. We need to realize that it is the pride—and the proud—of this world that our Lord is coming to judge. Without Jesus as our Savior we will fall under the coming judgment of God. For the preceding generations, their judgment came after they died without Christ. For it is written that: It is appointed unto men to die once and then comes the judgment. What is unique to our present generation—if this is the last generation before Jesus comes, as all signs point that it is—is that this generation will have to bear the judgment of all the preceding generations before it. Matthew 23:36 “Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.” So that this last generation will have to endure the physical punishment due to all the generations before it, while here on the earth, and then, be cast into hell and the eternal judgment that follows. So that there is a double incentive for those who are now alive, to repent and to receive the double reward of salvation and escaping the judgment that is soon coming upon all those who dwell on the earth, to test them. Isaiah 2:10-11 “Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.” According to Scripture, there are three major spirits that afflict all the inhabitants of this present-day world. 1 John 2:16 “For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” We learn by simple reasoning from Scripture, that the only way to overcome the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, is by dying to self and living with Christ, through the power of His unending grace. We also learn that pride is what keeps many from humbling themselves before God, confessing their sins before Him, and receiving God’s pardon that is available through our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. We learn as well that it is that spirit of pride that God will judge mightily at His soon return. If there was ever a time to renounce the spirit of pride and to enter into the Rock of God’s salvation, it is right now before God’s final judgment is unleashed! Isaiah 2:12 “For the day of the Lord of hosts shall come upon everything proud and lofty, upon everything lifted up—and it shall be brought low.”
