House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) is an online ministry providing Holy Spirit revelation of the Word of God. Mission Statement To live the reality of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in such a manner that: Death to the things of this world in our lives will be obvious to all, while we proclaim the life of Jesus Christ to every corner of the world; Beginning with the very corners of our world. Purpose To be found worthy of His calling at His soon return. Motto For He that promised is faithful. Luke 18:8 Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Greetings in the name of Jesus our redeemer. My name is Marcos Marrero, and this is what I believe: I believe that we ought to always thank God for sending Jesus, his only begotten Son to die for our sins. I believe that we ought to praise God always, for He did not leave his only begotten Son hanging on the cross or inside the grave. We ought to worship Him! The creator of the heavens and the earth, who raised Jesus from the dead, and has given Him a name that is above every name. Philippians 2:9-11 "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." It is my intention for this web page to make this proclamation: The Word of God is the only TRUTH! Jesus, the messiah of Israel is the revelation of God's TRUTH! The Holy Spirit sanctifies every human who believes the TRUTH, as presented in the gospel of Jesus Christ. II Thessalonians 2:13-14 "But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ." I boldly proclaim that the same Jesus that was taken up to heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, creator of heaven and earth. Will soon return to this earth to set up His kingdom. I boldly proclaim that this same Jesus will judge both the living and the dead. Those who believe God's TRUTH as presented in the gospel of Jesus Christ will be rewarded with the crown of life, and will forever be with the Lord. But those who reject the TRUTH of the gospel of Jesus Christ will be dammed for eternity. II Thessalonians 2:12 "That they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness." I also believe that God will hold every believer accountable who does not strive to have the work of faith with power in their lives. II Thessalonians 1:11 "Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power." It is the demonstration of God's power through faith in the TRUTH of the Word of God, that will convict sinners of their error and cause them to cry out for our God's salvation. Luke 5:8 "When Simon Peter saw it, (the demonstration of God's miracle working power) he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying 'depart from me for I am a sinful man, O Lord!'" It is my desire to present to you in this web page the gospel of Jesus Christ in its true form. Free from the contamination of human fallacies. Knowing, even as I am writing this, that Jesus will hold me accountable for everything that I will be teaching here. James 3:1 "Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly." Lord Jesus! I dedicate this web page to you. I pray for your anointing and guidance. Let those who read its contents be led by your precious Holy Spirit to receive the promises of your abundant life. Amen. House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) updates this website often. Here's the latest teaching. LATEST TEACHING Top of Page LOST AND FOUND Presented by Minister Lisa Kane Published on 1.9.26 Objective: To reveal the priceless value of salvation through Jesus Christ by examining the parables of what is found for the first time and what is lost and diligently sought again, leading believers to a deeper understanding of repentance, transformation, and the fruit that confirms a genuine relationship with God. Synopsis: In Lost and Found, we explore two powerful teachings of Jesus that unveil fresh revelation about salvation and its value. The parable of the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price reveals the joy and life-altering response of one who finds salvation—a gift so priceless that nothing compares. In contrast, the parable of the lost coin illustrates a believer who once possessed something of great value, recognized it was missing, and took intentional action to seek until it was restored. Together, these parables address the often-debated question of salvation—whether it can be lost or is eternally secure—by shifting the focus from theological arguments to the heart posture of the believer. Salvation is not proven by outward actions or religious performance, but by a transformed heart rooted in love, repentance, and the fruit of the Spirit. Through Scripture, we are reminded that true salvation results in change, produces fruit, and is safeguarded by Christ Himself, who promised He would not lose even one. This teaching encourages believers to understand the immeasurable worth of God’s free gift, to guard it with intentionality, and to seek Him wholeheartedly whenever distance is felt. Lost and Found calls us to pray, to walk in sanctification, and to live with gratitude for the treasure of salvation—once discovered, never taken lightly, and always worth pursuing with all our heart. Lesson in written form: There are three parables in the Bible that I see a new fresh revelation in them. The first parable is regarding the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 13:44-46 NKJV 44 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. 45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. The second parable is losing something and finding it later. This concept also applies to a shepherd losing one sheep and goes after that one sheep leaving the 99 behind. And it also applies to the prodigal son. All found in Luke 15. For this teaching, we will use the lost coin and finding it later after seeking it parable. Luke 15:8-10 NKJV 8 “Or what woman, having ten silver [c ]coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ 10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” In the first parable, where the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field that is found, is ‘salvation. Someone found something they didn’t have before and it’s priceless. Salvation is priceless and it is a gift from God. When a person finds salvation, they find a true treasure and they never want to give up that treasure. In fact, they usually make changes, such as selling all he has and buying that field, as the parable put it so eloquently. In the second parable, the woman had ten silver coins, and they have value to them. Note, she already has them. It’s not something she found. She can represent a Christian who lost something of value that he or she had. Notice what she does, she lost it and noticed she lost it. She took the initiative to find and it took some effort. She needed light, and she moved everything in her house, swept the house, found this value. She sought the Lord. She, a Christian representation ‘sought’ the Lord, and she found Him again. There are big theological debates in today’s Christian world that say you can lose your salvation versus once saved, always saved. The above parables talk about this topic and present it very simply. You have someone who found salvation, and their life changed. You have someone who lost something of value, and changed their life to find it again. Both deal with salvation. One who didn’t know, and one who knew the worth but lost it somehow. Notice, we don’t know how the coin was lost. Isn’t that the way with anything? We don’t know how the other sock went missing but it happens. But here’s the thing, when we know it’s valuable, we take care of it and place in a position in our life so that we know where it is and that it is safe. This comes down to having knowledge of the value of salvation. Not all know the value of salvation. Romans 6:23 NKJV 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the [a ]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 5:6-9 NKJV 6 For when we were still without strength, [d ]in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Once we understand the knowledge of His free gift, we walk in sanctification, saved, and then in justification because it is His blood that saves us from His wrath that is still coming. So, then I ponder this, was a person, who ‘lost’ their salvation really saved in the first place? Let’s remember a very important point here, we’re not God. So, if we ‘look’ or ‘judge’ a person on their actions, going to church, preaching behind the pulpit, praying for people, laying hands on those who need it, are they saved but those actions? Remember 1 Corinthians 13:1 NKJV Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. They are not. They are only saved when they confess as Romans 10:9 tells us: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. And after making that confession of prophecy over their lives, they realize the value of what they have, and the love of God transforms their heart. And the first thing a person saved wants to do is ‘change’ their life around to put God first in their lives. How can we see if someone is saved or not? You will know them by their fruit. Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 [a ]gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. If we see a preacher, theologian, or anyone who seem to be in the Word but are not demonstrating love and forgiveness, this should be a red flag to you. But don’t condemn them. Pray for them as Jesus prayed for us in John 17. Be of good cheer, He will not lose one. John 17:9-19 NKJV 9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. 11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep[d ] through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. 12 While I was with them [e ]in the world, I kept them in [f ]Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is [g ]lost except the son of [h ]perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify[i ] them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. We have the Word of Jesus Himself, prophecy over us that He will not lose any of us. Join Him in prayer. Pray this prayer over everyone, whether you think they are living for Christ or not. This is the prophecy prayer that will keep us. It will be the treasure we find, and take care not to misplace or lose. And it will be the motivation for us to realize that we have something of value, His salvation that we will always seek when we felt or believed it was lost. Home

Manual for Personal Ministry Pastor Marcos Marrero October 2, 2023 Manual for Personal Ministry Objective: The objective of Manual for Personal Ministry is to equip Christians with a clear, biblical foundation for personal and spiritual ministry. It seeks to train believers to first apply God’s Word in their own lives, and then minister effectively to others through healing, deliverance, reconciliation, and service. By teaching how to walk in the authority of Christ, overcome spiritual strongholds, and embody compassion, the manual aims to develop faithful servants who carry out the Great Commission with integrity, endurance, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Synopsis: In Manual for Personal Ministry, Pastor Marcos Marrero equips believers with biblical principles and practical tools for serving others in the name of Christ. Rooted in the Great Commission and the ministry of reconciliation, this guide emphasizes that true ministry begins with personal transformation before extending outward to others. The manual outlines the essential call to “heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons,” showing how these commands symbolize spiritual restoration, deliverance, and empowerment. Through scripture-based teaching, Pastor Marcos explains the foundation of ministry—self-examination, forgiveness, overcoming generational iniquities, and walking in the authority of Christ. At its heart, the book stresses that ministry is service, not obligation. Believers are called to freely give what they have freely received, becoming vessels of God’s compassion and power. With clarity and conviction, Pastor Marcos presents a roadmap for spiritual healing, breaking curses, resisting the enemy, and faithfully enduring trials. The manual closes with an encouraging reminder that God refines His children through testing so that their ministry may bring lasting fruit and glory to Christ. Sample first pages of the Book/Manual: Introduction Minister: To give aid: Serve. This manual is designed to teach Christian ministers how to give aid to those in need, and to provide the tools necessary to properly administer the biblical principles of becoming a servant as recorded by Matthew. Matthew 28:1920 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” And viewed from the ambassadorship angle, since we are emissaries of His peace. 2 Corinthians 5:18 “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:” NIV The principles that we will teach here are to apply first to oneself because you cannot give that which you do not possess, and then to others. Once you have received the Lord’s aid, then the Lord will bring to you those in need for you to aid. Here is a basic but powerful outline of the ministry to which we are called. Matthew 10:8 “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” Heal the Sick 3 John 2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” True healing begins from within, as we mature in spiritual health, our physical bodies will manifest outwardly that spiritual health within us. That health emanates from our spirit being led by the Holy Spirit and it will be projected outward toward those who are in need and seek our counsel. We give of that which has been given to us. James 5:1416 “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” The process is twofold: Salvation that leads to deliverance (from sins and its consequences) and then restoration of sanity to the mind that brings the outward manifestation of physical healing and the restoration of the body. An elder is one who has maturity in the Word of God and has experienced personally many of the needs of those who come to him/her for help. Their experience in the Word of God has brought to them deliverances and victories over time, and they are able to testify of the faithfulness of the Word of God to those who faithfully endure and conquer in the battle of faith. So that when they counsel others of their need to let go of the things of the world that hinder their deliverance, they can speak with a forceful anointing that points them not to us, but rather to the Word of God. 2 Timothy 2:810 “Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel, for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.” Cleanse the Lepers Exodus 4:67 “Furthermore the LORD said to him, ‘Now put your hand in your bosom.’ And he put his hand in his bosom, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous, like snow. And He said, ‘Put your hand in your bosom again.’ So he put his hand in his bosom again, and drew it out of his bosom, and behold, it was restored like his other flesh.” Leprosy is a type of our sinful nature and is always lurking within us. As Moses was being called to his ministry, he was made very much aware that it wasn’t his righteousness that he was called to proclaim, but God’s. A minister is but a simple vessel that channels the divine anointing which is being poured upon him/her. 2 Peter 1:511 “But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge selfcontrol, to selfcontrol perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” The message that Peter is saying is very simple: As we work faithfully to receive the knowledge and virtue of self-control through perseverance in our pursuit of godliness, not for the purpose of flaunting our “righteousness” but for the goal of brotherly kindness; being able to help others overcome in their struggles. As we begin to abound in those spiritual qualities, we will not be barren nor unfruitful. But furthermore, an entrance will be supplied to the one seeking those spiritual qualities into the everlasting kingdom: this door is the ministry of deliverance into which our Savior calls us as part of our Christian ministry. Raise the Dead Ephesians 2:1 “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins.” When Paul preached, he preached Christ crucified. The simplicity of the Gospel is so amazing that we have the tendency to make it look harder, but it’s not! We were dead and on our way to hell, when we heard the Gospel we responded yes, and now we are alive and on our way to heaven. And our new life has a definite impact on those around us of which we are to take advantage of for Christ’s sake. John 11:2526 “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?’” We have the tendency to accept the notion that if some ministry or minister has raised people from physical death, that their ministry is a great miracle working ministry and thereby superior to other ministries. But in reality, every single time that a sinner repents at the preaching or teaching of the Word of God they are raised from the dead. If you raise someone from the dead who was not saved, and afterward they do not get saved, they will die again. However, one converted sinner who truly repents will never die again. So, tell me, which ministry is greater? Though the raising of someone from the dead is a sign of a great apostolic anointing upon the ministry or minister, it should not detract us from serving God by thinking of our work for the Kingdom of God as inferior. For indeed God knows the afflictions that His children suffer, and He takes great pleasure when one of His saints takes upon himself/herself the mantel of our Lord’s compassion and ministers to the needs of others, no matter how menial or insignificant their work may seem to the world. For to our Lord the rescue and comfort of one of His least known or deserving little ones is as important as the deliverance of one of His mighty saints. Hebrews 4:1416 “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Drive out Demons Exodus 4:25 “So the LORD said to him, ‘What is that in your hand?’ He said, ‘A rod.’ And He said, ‘Cast it on the ground.’ So he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it. Then the LORD said to Moses, ‘Reach out your hand and take it by the tail’ (and he reached out his hand and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand), that they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.” (parenthesis not added by me) Jesus the last Adam restored the dominion back to man that the first Adam lost when he failed to trust the Word of the Lord. Jesus demonstrated His power over the devil by destroying all of his works: 1 John 3:8 “…For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” Then He said to us to follow His example and do what He did: Mark 16:17 “…In My name they will cast out demons…” The rod in Moses’ hand represented the authority of God’s Name and of His Word: the Hebrew letters that spell God’s Name, Jehovah: Yod Hay Vav Hay; the Yod represents the hand, the Vav represents the rod or hook which connects the promises of God represented by the Hay twice; for the promises of God are Yes and Amen! Moses was to execute God’s power over God’s enemies in the authority of God’s Name and of His Word. Just as it is for us today in Jesus Name and in accordance to His Word. Freely Give Galatians 5:1 “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” Ministry is service, not slavery. One of the tricks of the enemy is to tie down a minister under a load of obligations and maybe fear of what would happen to those he or she is currently ministering to, if he or she were to move on to where the Holy Spirit is now leading them to. We are just vessels. Let’s not forget; we must be under the flowing in order to emanate. As with Moses, when the cloud moved, they simply followed; so, it is with us in ministry. It is His ministry not ours! The Foundation The first layer in the foundation to minister is found in: 2 Corinthians 13:56 “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in youunless, of course, you fail the test? And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test.” NIV Here's where you can purchase this book of this book is published: Amazon Barnes & Noble Xulon Press Book Found Here Previous Next Home

- Intercessor's Manual | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
Intercessor's Manual The objective of Intercessor’s Manual is to equip believers with biblical knowledge and spiritual strategies necessary to engage effectively in intercessory prayer. By exposing the operations of demonic forces, explaining the significance of biblical symbolism, and restoring understanding of the believer’s God-given dominion, the manual seeks to train intercessors to stand in the gap on behalf of others. Its goal is to empower Christians to break curses, dismantle strongholds, and enforce God’s will on earth through Spirit-led prayer and authority in Christ. Intercessor's Manual Pastor Marcos Marrero September 27, 2023 Intercessor's Manual Objective: The objective of Intercessor’s Manual is to equip believers with biblical knowledge and spiritual strategies necessary to engage effectively in intercessory prayer. Synopsis: In Intercessor’s Manual, Pastor Marcos Marrero provides a comprehensive guide for believers called to the ministry of intercession. Drawing deeply from Scripture, the manual explains the spiritual realities of demonic infrastructures, biblical symbolism, and the authority of believers in Christ. Pastor Marcos emphasizes that intercessors are mediators who stand in the gap on behalf of others, empowered by the name of Jesus to confront and dismantle spiritual strongholds. The book explores how Satan and his principalities operate, how biblical revelation unveils hidden truths, and how believers can reclaim Adamic dominion through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Marcos also outlines the nature of curses, the tactics of demonic spirits, and the necessity of repentance, renouncement, and restoration in the life of an intercessor. Ultimately, the manual equips readers with both theological understanding and practical strategies for effective prayer warfare, calling the Church to rise in authority and enforce God’s will on earth as it is in heaven. Sample first pages of the Book/Manual: UNDERSTANDING DEMONIC INFRASTRUCTURES Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities (Arkhay, in the original Greek), against powers (Exooseeah), against the rulers (Kosmokratore) of the darkness (Skotos) of this world, against spiritual (Pnyoomatikos) wickedness (Ponayreeah) in high places (Epooraneeos).” • Arkhay = Principalities: Commencement, principal ruler, chieftain, arch or covering. • Status: First in order, rank, time and space. Precedes all demonic powers; top. • Assignment: To pervert all God given authority and religious principles. • Exooseeah = Powers: Ability or privilege to enforce mastery of superhuman nature. • Status: Has delegated influence or jurisdiction over a specific area. • Assignment: To pervert thrones, governments, princedoms and virtues. • Kosmokratore = Rulers: Stolen dominion of a period or interval of time. (Curses) • Skotos: (of) Obscurity: Shade or shadows. (Lack of knowledge or willful ignorance) • Status: The force behind all disorder, lawlessness, lewdness. • Assignment: Everything that would weaken godly rule for the purpose of seizing and/ or retaining control. Pnyoomatikos = Spiritual: Noncarnal. Wicked spirits in the lower heaven. Ponayreeah = Depravity: Who bring perversion, malice, plots of sins. (Malevolence) Epooraneeos = High: Their assignment is to create an atmosphere of tolerance and self-indulgence. Status: Operates in the soulish realm, to manipulate the human senses. (Sensuality) So that our warfare is not against humanity’s failings and frailties, but rather against a chief ruling spirit whom the Bible identifies as the devil and Satan. This chief fallen spirit leads all the workers of perversion who try to hinder the work of God’s benevolence towards mankind as presented in the Word of God, from reaching us. This chief fallen spirit, the devil; delegates power of a supernatural nature to his wicked spiritual minions who take advantage of mankind’s lack of knowledge or willful ignorance regarding unbroken curses that hang over humanity. So that the depravity of the devil and his fallen angels is brought to fruition within the human race and is tolerated by humanity because of their sensual appeal to our fallen nature. 1 John 2:16 “…the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.” 1 John 3:8 “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” Luke 10:1820 “And He said to them, ‘I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you (the believers) the authority (Exooseeah) to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (the devil), and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.’” The believers whose names are written in heaven have been empowered to wrestle against the spiritual forces that operate in the darkness of this world and to overcome them through powerful targeted intercession. An intercessor is one who is in a position to mediate on behalf of another. The believers whose names are written in heaven, and to whom this fallen spirits are subject to, have access in the Name of Jesus to the only omnipotent ruler of all creation, God Himself, to mediate on behalf of those who do not, will not or cannot. My hope is that in this manual, you, whose names are written in heaven, will find the revelation knowledge that will empower you to bring deliverance from the works of darkness, through powerful intercession, into whatever situation Jesus is leading you to intercede for on behalf of mankind, as we expose the works of darkness to the light of the precious Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. UNDERSTANDING BIBLICAL SYMBOLISM Ezekiel 28:2 “...Because your heart is lifted up, and you say ‘I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods, in the midst of the seas...’” Rabbinical teachers interpret the Old Testament as having four different levels of interpretation or understanding. The four Gospels were written to conform to these four levels of interpretation and revelation, since they represent the fulfillment of many of the prophecies hidden in the Old Testament. 1) Peshat: The Simple or elementary level; the plain writing of the Scriptures. a) The Gospel of Mark is written in this level, short and simple. Jesus is revealed to us as a Servant. No pedigree or genealogy is given about Him, servants have none. b) Mark 9:35 “And He sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.” 2) Remez: The Hint or practical level of interpretation of Scripture. Allegorical and philosophical. a) The Gospel of Luke was written to conform to this philosophical level. Jesus’ humanity is represented here. That is why God chose a doctor to write it, and the human genealogy of Jesus which is given here, takes us all the way back to the first human. i) Luke 3:38 (Jesus the son of, who was)…“The son of Adam, the son of God.” b) Luke 17:37 “And they answered and said to him, ‘Where Lord?’ So He said to them, ‘Wherever the body is, there the eagles will gather.’” i) The above Scripture hints that there is a different level of understanding and sophistication that is needed to fully comprehend what Jesus was telling them. 3) Drosh: The Regal level is a far more sophisticated level of interpretation. This level will require the elements of solving riddles. a) The Gospel of Matthew was written in this level, and the genealogy of Jesus takes us up to Abraham the Patriarch of the nation of Israel and father of all the children of faith. Jesus is represented here as the King of the Jews and spiritually speaking as the King of kings and Lord of lords as well. b) Matthew 27:37 “And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him: THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.” i) As we enter into this level of Scripture revelation, we find an anointing of authoritative power to enforce the spiritual ordinances not just within our natural physical realm that we influence, but to the level of enforcement that applies to the spirit of the law as it pertains to the demonic levels of principalities and powers. ii) Proverbs 25:2 “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” 4) Sohd: The Secret level, it lifts us into the heavenly places to view the secret aspects of the Scriptures. a) The Gospel of John is full of these secrets. In John 1:1 the eternal genealogy of Jesus is given; “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” In John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” b) John 16:25 “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.” The first letter in each of these four methods — PRDS — combine to spell out the Hebrew word for Paradise or the third heaven according to 2 Corinthians 12:24. Understanding the mechanics of these four levels of the revelation of the Word of God will take us back to the dominion that Adam and Eve forfeited in the garden, when they allowed Satan to steal it from them. 2 Corinthians 12:24 “I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago — whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows — such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man — whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows — how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.” Paradise is the name of the third heaven, the place where God’s seat of power is and from where He rules over His creation. APPLICATION OF BIBLICAL SYMBOLISM Revelation 13:1 “And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea (Ezekiel 282 Midst of the sea). He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.” The midst of the sea symbolizes the seat of power of the chief spiritual ruler (principality), in this case the dragon or devil. His seat of power is in the second or lower heaven biblically speaking; humanly known as the underworld or the occult. Exodus 20:4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image — any likeness of anything that is in heaven above (third heaven/Paradise), or that is in the earth beneath (our physical realm, the cosmos), or that is in the water under the earth (heaven below/underworld).” Here we see the third heaven or heaven above from where God rules, separated from the water under the earth or the lower heaven where Satan’s seat of power is, by the physical (the cosmos) realm called earth. Genesis 1:68 “Then God said, ‘Let there be a firmament (an expanse) in the midst of the waters (heaven above/heaven below), and let it divide the waters from the waters.’ Thus God made the firmament (physical realm/expanse to separate between the two), and divided (separated the spiritual realm) the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven (is important to note that the physical realm is also called heaven, the first heaven by implication)…” Strongs concordance # {7549} ["yqir; — raqiya`, rawkee'ah; from 7554; properly, an expanse, i.e. the firmament. {7554} [q"r; — raqa`, rawkah'; a primitive root; to pound the earth. So that there is a struggle between us earthlings who pray to our Father in Heaven (above) for His will to be done here on earth (terra firmament) as it is in Heaven. And the demonic spirits that the earthlings that have been taken captive by the snares of the devil, have summoned through their occultist practices and ways, from the hidden heaven below (spiritual realm of the underworld). 2 Timothy 2:26 “And that they may come to their senses (the humans that violate God’s spiritual laws) and escape the snare of the devil (through the power of our intercession), having been taken captive by him to do his will.” Here's where you can purchase this book of this book is published: Amazon Barnes & Noble Xulon Press Book Found Here Previous Next Home
- Man's Final Destiny: Revelation Unveiled | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
Man's Final Destiny: Revelation Unveiled The objective of Man’s Final Destiny is to present a clear, Spirit-led framework for understanding the Book of Revelation, equipping believers to recognize its chronological unfolding, prepare for Christ’s return, and stand firm as faithful witnesses in the last days. Man's Final Destiny: Revelation Unveiled Pastor Marcos Marrero January 26, 2026 Man's Final Destiny - Revelation Unveiled (Front Cover) Objective: The objective of Man’s Final Destiny is to present a clear, Spirit-led framework for understanding the Book of Revelation, equipping believers to recognize its chronological unfolding, prepare for Christ’s return, and stand firm as faithful witnesses in the last days. Synopsis: Man’s Final Destiny begins with a vivid personal vision in which the author encounters Jesus Christ in a life-changing revelation, igniting a lifelong mission to understand and teach the truths of end-time prophecy. From this foundation, the book provides an in-depth, expository exploration of Revelation, emphasizing its two-fold perspective: the physical events unfolding in history and the spiritual realities revealed from heaven. The book carefully constructs a chronological framework for Revelation, showing how events interconnect across time and dimensions. This approach enables the development of a prophetic timeline that aligns scripture with historical events and anticipates future fulfillment. Central themes include: The distinction between the faithful Philadelphia church and the lukewarm Laodicean church. The seamless transition of God’s representation on earth from the Church to Israel during the final days. The unveiling of the seven seals as a spiritual progression through the Church Age rather than merely future judgments. The role of the four horsemen as spiritual forces shaping history and preparing for the culmination of God’s plan. The dispensational “clock” that reveals God’s timing and alignment of human history with divine purpose. Through detailed scriptural interpretation, historical parallels, and prophetic insight, the author presents Revelation not as a confusing collection of visions but as a unified, living narrative pointing to Christ’s ultimate triumph and the fulfillment of God’s promises. At its heart, the book is both a warning and a call to readiness. It urges believers to recognize the signs of the times, strengthen their faith, and hold fast to the truth of God’s Word. By unveiling the mysteries of Revelation with clarity, Man’s Final Destiny seeks to prepare the Church for the return of Jesus Christ and inspire confidence in His eternal kingdom. Sample first pages of the Book/Manual: Personal Introduction It was early morning Sunday, February 12, 1989 in the Southern California city of Garden Grove, somewhere about 4:30 AM that I was dreaming about my little hometown of La Isabela where I was born and grew up, in the northern coast of central Cuba. It was one of those dreams that just seemed to keep on going all night long. It was a very dark night in the dream and my wife was walking with me. I was trying to get to “my father’s house,” that’s how I was referring to it in the dream even though in reality I always called that house “my home.” Since I was born in that house in 1947 and it was from the front porch of that same house that was built on stilts over the water, that I got in a small boat eighteen years later and came over to America where I was granted political asylum in 1965. In the dream there was a great deal of gunfire that had erupted throughout the entire small town, which made it very difficult to navigate the narrow streets to “my father’s house” where we would be safe. In the dream I was feeling so guilty that I had gotten my wife in such a mess, since in real life she refuses to travel to Cuba where she feels that it is not safe to go. Continuing with the dream, I knocked on the door of a house less than a block from where I was trying to go, and we were given shelter within that house. However, I was so restless that I kept pacing back and forth and could not find rest, trying to figure out how I was going to get us to “my father’s house.” Finally I got so exhausted that I found a chair in the kitchen where my wife had been sitting around a table and gratefully enjoying the company of our gracious hosts. As I sat down, my mind was still racing; I refused to engage in trivial conversation, keeping my focus on the dangers that surrounded us and on the goal of getting safely to my appointed destination. Realizing this, those who sat around the table asked me to teach them about all that was taking place and what it meant. Breathing a sigh of relief, I said to myself: “Finally someone is taking seriously all these events that encompass us and are now desirous to know what they mean.” In the dream I immediately began to tell them that these were the signs of the end times; I had barely spoken those words when all of the sudden the walls around me disappeared, the darkened skies rolled away in an instant and I was not dreaming anymore! It is so hard to accurately describe what takes place during a spiritual vision because what one experiences is usually lost in the narrative, since the feelings cannot be adequately explained. In an instant I found myself in a realm more real than anything I’ve ever encountered in my life. How could I explain the shock I experienced when faced with the empirical evidence of the existence of another dimension? I was in it! There is no human way to describe how the spiritual mind is able to process so much more information when heightened to the euphoric state of the dimension of the heavenly lights. Instantaneously I was able to think, reason, question, test, and apply myself to understand what was happening within me in many different levels simultaneously, while at the same time observing and participating in the external events that were unfolding around me. John 21:25 “And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.” This Scripture is not an exaggeration! The events that take place in one second of time in the spiritual realm in which Jesus operates, would take millions and millions of words to properly detail, catalogue and explain. Within seconds my eyes saw Him! As the skies receded and I was looking up into the bright white sky, Jesus came out into full view out of the east. He was walking in the air towards me at a very rapid pace but yet at the same time, it was like if He was moving at the speed of light. I know that what I am saying does not make sense, but like I said, extra dimensional experiences elude natural explanation. It was like if someone was rapidly walking on top of a flat train cart going forward while the train is moving at an incredible rate of speed. I was able to perceive both movements at the same time that they were occurring even though He was headed towards me on nothing but bright sky. I feel so inadequate trying to explain the multitudes of feelings that I experienced the very instant that I first saw Him. Next month it will be nineteen years since I had the vision and this is the very first time that I am truly making an effort to write about it in detail. And the only reason that I am doing it, is to try and put into context the why I am writing this expository work on the book of Revelation. My desire is to prepare you for what I believe to be the time for the soon coming of our King and Savior, even our Lord Jesus Christ! A variety of things happened within me when I first saw Him; there was no order as to how they happened, I was able to experience them simultaneously. I remembered seeing His eyes intensely focus on me. The expression on His face was: I AM coming to get you! I was trembling to my very core. There is a Scripture in Isaiah 6:5 that really nails this experience: “So I said: ‘Woe is me, for I am undone!’” I swear I could feel every cell in my body trembling so hard that they became unglued from one another, while at the same time marveling at the fact that I, for the first time in my life was fully aware of how many of them it took to form my physical body. While I was experiencing both, the joy and the fear of His glorious countenance from a still great distance away with a kind of natural telescopic vision, a very intellectual discussion was taking place in my mind as to whether I should try to remember what Jesus looked like and be tempted to make an mental image of Him when I came back, or erase His likeness from my cognitive mind so that I would not have to deal with that aspect of the vision when I came back. So here I was fully aware that what I was experiencing was not the actual rapture but a rehearsal of it, with the ability to retain or release certain parts of the experience. From the time that I first saw Him and had the manifold experiences of which I just shared a couple with you, to the time that He reached the place where I was standing there could not have been more than a couple of seconds. It happened so fast that even though my mind was processing information at a great rate of speed, He was much faster than even my ability to turbo-think. It was like a violent collision, He came from a great distance away with great velocity; without slowing down He crashed into my chest. That was how it felt at first, but then I realized that it was His right hand that had reached and grabbed my chest as He flew by. The closer that He got to me the more that I trembled, that’s when I realized that His holiness was too glorious for my carnality and the cells that form my body were rapidly dying their own individual deaths. I found myself going from zero to the speed of light in less than a microsecond. The speed into which I was suddenly thrust into caused my tongue to flatten like a pancake within my mouth, causing me to feel the empty cavities of missing teeth feeling up. In an instant everything that died became alive. I could feel new teeth growing inside of my mouth, and every cell in my body became reanimated into a perfect man. His touch together with His glorious light brought forth an indescribable new life. While I have been describing the physical aspect of my experience in the catching away, there were other things taking place as well in my spiritual side. The closer that Jesus came to me, the more aware that I became of my spirit man within me. I was able to experience the “real me” for the first time in his full entity. The more of the physical “me” that died, the stronger the spiritual “I” was able to emerge, such dichotomy cannot be properly explained, it has to be experienced. But this one thing I know for certain, in the midst of the torrential flood of emotions that I was experiencing, a vigorous new man rose up from within me, and with a strong masculine voice and with uninhibited zeal, he cried out incessantly with strong conviction: “HALLELUJAH! HE KEPT HIS PROMISE!” Over and over again he repeated this shout with greater exuberance each time he shouted it. The duration of the entire vision, not counting the dreaming part, could not have lasted over a minutes’ time. But in those precious few seconds I experienced more love and more fear, more death and more life, than I could ever experience if I could live hundreds and hundreds of years. I now have a totally different concept of reality, and an ability to understand visions from a very different perspective as you will see as you read my rendering of the visions detailed for us in the book of Revelation by the apostle John. My wife was abruptly awakened when she felt my body shaking uncontrollably as I was lying on the bed. She reached over and grabbed me on the chest to wake me up. My chest and belly areas were so sensitive from experiencing Jesus’ touch, that when she grabbed me, I screamed so loud that it brought me out of the vision. After experiencing that other dimension, coming back to this one was so disappointing, but my experience was so vivid that I could not stop talking about it to my sleepy wife at 4:45 in the morning. I got up and went into my living room to pray, but I could not stand still not even for a second. I phoned my mom and woke her up crying that Jesus was coming soon and that she needed to get ready, and it was before five am. I was so charged from the experience that I repented before God of all the people that I had neglected to witness to. I swore that I would tell everyone I knew about Jesus plus everybody else; I was so on fire with the zeal of God that the only thing that mattered to me at the time was winning souls for Jesus Christ. Whether good or bad that euphoria waned as the day passed. If I didn’t come down I know they would have locked me up. As I taught adult Sunday school that morning, people were staring at me in a weird sort of way, no doubt wondering what kind of happy influence I was under. By the time evening came I got in bed early so that I could feel closer to the experience. As I lay there, my belly and chest areas were so sensitive again that I could not bring myself to close my eyes, fearful that he would touch me again, and just as fearful that He would not. The Liberation of the Human Soul Pastor Marcos Marrero October 17, 2023 The Liberation of the Human Soul Objective: The objective of this book is to equip believers with biblical understanding of the human soul, its struggles, and its potential for transformation through the Spirit of God. Pastor Marcos Marrero seeks to help Christians distinguish between the soul and spirit, recognize the influences that distort and oppress the soul, and apply God’s truth for deliverance and restoration. By guiding readers to trust in God’s covenant promises and embrace progressive transformation, the book aims to lead believers into true freedom, wholeness, and spiritual maturity, enabling them to live victoriously and fulfill their divine purpose in Christ. Synopsis: In The Liberation of the Human Soul, Pastor Marcos Marrero explores the vital distinction between the human spirit and soul, showing how this understanding is key to living in the fullness of God’s freedom. He explains the “soul complex” as an inner dwelling with both godly and ungodly “tenants,” and teaches how spiritual fruit such as love, joy, and peace can only thrive when believers evict destructive influences like selfish ambition, lust, and envy. Pastor Marcos uncovers the demonic infrastructure that manipulates the soul through lies, trauma, and distortion of truth, then highlights how the Word of God restores and renews believers. Through faith, trust, and covenant with Christ, the soul undergoes progressive transformation—breaking free from sin’s snares and growing into the likeness of Jesus. Ultimately, the book emphasizes that salvation is not only about eternal life but also about the ongoing deliverance and restoration of the soul in this life. By yielding fully to God’s Spirit, Christians can walk in true peace, self-control, and victory, fulfilling their divine destiny and bearing witness to the world of Christ’s liberating power. Sample first pages of the Book/Manual: Introduction As a born-again Christian since June 2, 1976, when my life was radically changed after I accepted Jesus Christ as my only savior, I can honestly say that trying to understand the complexity of the human soul is perhaps the most challenging area I’ve ever had to deal with, yet the most vital. In every human endeavor reaching the goal determines the victory. Failing to reach the goal, though admirable if one tries very hard, it is still a failure. Bottom line is we lost; we failed to accomplish the desire objective. However many Christians today settle for trying very hard and accept failure to reach their goal in Christ as an admirable endeavor. Even when in the end they have failed miserably to achieve the goal that Jesus Christ had set out for them in their lives. My prayer is that in this book I will be able to shed some light into the inner workings of the human soul that will enable born-again Christians to achieve the goal of their faith which is the salvation, deliverance and restoration of their souls. 1 Peter 1:9 “Receiving the end of your faith — the salvation of your souls.” The Difference between the Spirit and the Soul This is an area that is not dealt with often enough from church pulpits. What is the difference between my soul and my spirit? And how does lack of knowledge on this subject affect my walk with Christ? Knowing the difference between your soul and your spirit can mean the difference between walking in shame, guilt and condemnation or walking in total and complete freedom from guilt, shame and condemnation. Let me begin by stressing that the Bible makes a clear distinction between the soul and the spirit, and if we understand that their interaction affects how our physical bodies respond to any given situation, it will teach us how to walk in self-control, which is the completion of spiritual fruit. I Thessalonians 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Parenthesis, italics, bold added by me unless otherwise stated.) Paul clearly segregates the two, spirit and soul as dwelling within our physical bodies. But by introducing God as the God of peace Himself, Paul implies that there is a relationship between spirit and soul that brings peace or the lack thereof, depending upon their interaction. In order to know how the spirit and the soul interact within our bodies, and how their interaction affects our behavior, we need to understand their individual nomenclature. The Greek word used by Paul in the above passage for spirit is the word “Pnyoomah” Strong’s concordance # 4151 and it means Breath (blast). The Greek word used for soul is the word “Psookhay” Strong’s concordance # 5590 and it also means Breath. We get a clearer picture from Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man (the body) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (the spirit); and man became a living being (the soul).” The words for breath and spirit are pretty much interchangeable in both the Hebrew and Greek languages. So when God breathed into Adam’s nostrils the breath (spirit) of life, Adam became a living soul. From this and other scriptures I’ve concluded that the human soul is like a pneumatic (Pnyoomah) tool, a tool designed to run on a blast or a current of air, originally intended by God to run or to be motivated by God’s breath/spirit (Pnyoomah);or let me put it another way, our soul is to be moved, inspired, influenced by the words that come out of the mouth of God. When Adam and by implication us, disobeyed the word that came out of God’s mouth, our souls lost their motivator and hence the soul became self-motivated (self steam). Now in the soul we find the mind, will and emotions intricately connected to our five physical senses. Genesis 3:6 “So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food (taste), that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise (mind), she took of its fruit and ate.” Here we see the process; disobedience to the word of God disengages the governor of the soul: the Spirit of God. And now the human soul can be easily manipulated through the physical senses. Satan controls the environment we live in, the world; if we do not walk in self-control which is a fruit of the Spirit; then, the demonic environment of this world will control us also. As born-again believers we cannot afford to be led by our physical senses, if we are lead by the sensuality (carnality) of this world, we will never achieve the goal of our faith, which is; the liberation of our souls from satanic influences and manipulative schemes. 1 John 2:15 “Do not love the world or the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father (breath) is not in him.” This is why the soul is so vital: Whichever spirit (breath) motivates the soul, that spirit will control to a very large extent the actions of our physical bodies. When we walk in victory it is because the Spirit of God is driving our soul. When we walk in defeat it is because the Spirit of God has been disengaged from motivating our soul; and when our soul is motivated by our physical senses, which are manipulated by the circumstances surrounding us, we fail on our goal. John could not have said it any clearer, when we love the world or the things of the world (the devil’s environment), we’ve allowed our souls to be manipulated by the god of this world. Instead of the fruit of the Holy Spirit flowing through us, the fruit of carnality abounds. Selfishness instead of self-control, hate instead of love, unhappiness instead of joy, impatience instead of patience, pride instead of meekness and no real peace. Isaiah 57:21 “There is no peace, says my God, for the wicked.” Perhaps the best way to describe the difference between soul and spirit is like this: The spirit of a born-again Christian is like a good seed, within it lies dormant everything that pertains to a life of peace and abundance of the godliness that we have been promised. 1 Peter 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” And just like a natural seed needs a place to germinate and release all the things that are encoded within it; the born-again spirit needs to be embedded within the soul in order to bear spiritual fruit. Hosea 10:17 “Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you.” This is what makes the liberation of the soul so vital, without it there can be no harvest, no real victory. The preaching, teaching and learning from the word of God provide the watering that causes the seed (spirit) to bear fruit, however the fallow ground of the soul must be broken, tilled and cultivated. The weeds that choke the fruit of the spirit have to be uprooted. Matthew 15:13 “...Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.” As I conclude this chapter, my heart turns towards the many Christians that are struggling with sin in their lives. No matter how hard they try they are unable to overcome it, and like clockwork Satan is there to remind them of their misery and failure. Romans 7:17-18 “But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.” Parenthesis are in the original text. Romans 7:20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.” The day that a born-again believer comes to the realization that the spirit within him/her has been made alive, and that there is now therefore no condemnation for that spirit; for indeed, it is that born-again spirit that desires to do good “for to will is present with me”, they will no longer look at sin in the same light anymore. The sin that is in the soul that was self-motivated before we knew God should be like a warning light to us, a symptom of an unseen malady. Its manifestations are there for the purpose of reminding us that there is something wrong within us that we need to deal with. When the check engine light flashes on the dash board of our vehicle, we do not feel guilt or shame about it; we simply become concern and see to it that the problem is dealt with as soon as possible. So it should be with us, when we keep doing that which we will not to do, it is time to come to God and allow Him to give us a spiritual diagnostic check-up of the soul. Proverbs 11:9 “…But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.” Instead of hiding with guilt and shame by identifying ourselves with that sin, let us expose that sin for what it is, an unwanted trespasser that needs to be evicted from our soul, through knowledge. Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Let us become diligent in learning the intricacies of our own soul. Let us make the liberation of our souls our principle goal in life. - The Power of the Benediction | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
The Power of the Benediction The Power of the Benediction equips believers with biblical insight into the authority of spoken words, showing how blessings and curses shape lives. Pastor Marcos guides readers to break free from generational strongholds, release God’s promises, and walk in Christ’s redemptive power—using benedictions as tools of healing, restoration, and divine alignment. The Power of the Benediction Pastor Marcos Marrero October 30, 2023 The Power of the Benediction Objective: The Power of the Benediction equips believers with biblical insight into the authority of spoken words, showing how blessings and curses shape lives. Pastor Marcos guides readers to break free from generational strongholds, release God’s promises, and walk in Christ’s redemptive power—using benedictions as tools of healing, restoration, and divine alignment. Synopsis: The Power of the Benediction by Pastor Marcos Marrero is a deep exploration of the spiritual force of spoken words—particularly blessings and curses—and their impact on human life. Drawing from Scripture, Pastor Marcos reveals that just as God created the universe through His spoken Word, believers are entrusted with the authority to speak life, healing, and transformation into existence. The book explains how blessings (benedictions) carry divine power to shape reality, break generational curses, restore what was lost, and align believers with God’s purposes. Pastor Marcos highlights principles such as the Cohesiveness Principle, the Mechanics of the Benediction, and the importance of rejecting negative words while embracing God’s promises. He also addresses how spoken blessings can alter not only present circumstances but even the effects of the past, illustrating the timeless power of God’s Word. Through biblical teaching, practical prayers, and prophetic insights, The Power of the Benediction equips readers to recognize their God-given authority, to use words responsibly, and to walk in the fullness of God’s blessings for themselves, their families, and their communities. Sample first pages of the Book/Manual: THE POWER OF THE BENEDICTION Leviticus 9:23 "And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting, and came out and blessed the people. Then the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people." We are living in the age of power, since the industrial revolution took place. It seems that machines just keep getting bigger and more powerful. It is amazing to see the great wonders that human engineering has accomplished, not only in size and power, but also in scope and complexity. We have machines that can strip and remove entire mountains, and machines that can tunnel under the mountains, even under the sea to connect land masses. We even have machines so delicate that they can do surgery on a human body. They are even coming out with machines that can read our thought patterns. But the most powerful force in the entire universe is not generated by steam, electricity, or even man's ability to harness nature's wonders. The most powerful force in the universe resides in the words that come out of the human mouth. How can that be possible you may ask? Let me ask you this, what was the power source employed to create the entire universe? It was Words! Uni—Verse! “Let there be light—energy!” Hebrews 11:3 "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." According to science, everything that exists in the universe came into being through the release of a tremendous amount of energy that came out of nothing that was visible; but they do not know what caused that energy to be released, but the Bible emphatically tells us that it was the spoken Word of God. Genesis 1:3 "Then God said, 'Let there be light (energy)'; and there was light." (Parenthesis and bold added by me for emphasis unless otherwise stated.) The earth, or that which is tangible, was without form and void. That is it could not be ascertained, measured, or comprehended, for it was darkness from the face of the deep, and it took the spoken Word of God to give it form and to bring it into our physical reality. Thereby clearly setting the principle; it takes words to bring forth that which does not exist into our physical realm. Words of faith in the principle that God has clearly established when He created the entire universe. John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He (the Word) was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him (the Word), and without Him nothing was made that was made." Everything that now exists came into being by the spoken Word of God that we can better grasp the personality of the Word that created everything. The Word became flesh Himself in human form and interacted with His created humans to let us know about this principle that not only created everything out of nothing, but also continues to sustain the creation as well. John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." What that means is that the power that created everything that now exists, resides in a human physical body that demonstrated the power of His spoken words in both His natural body before He died and was resurrected from the dead, as well as in His resurrected glorified body that now sits in heaven at the right hand of God interceding for us. When we speak His Word, we too can bring about the creative force that makes physically real that which in the natural does not yet exist. Colossians 1:15 "He (Jesus, the Word that became flesh) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation." What that means is that Jesus is our new prototype, just like in our natural birth we all inherited Adam's fallen nature in our new born again experience we all become partakers of the divine nature of Jesus, who is the last Adam. 2 Peter 1:3-4 "As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises (words), that through these (words) you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." If we know Him who created everything through His spoken Word, and if we understand that through His spoken promises to us we can be partakers of the divine nature that is able to create something out of nothing, then we can surely understand why Peter calls them great and precious promises. John 14:12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." Jesus doubles down and clear as day tells us that those of us who believe in Him become partakers of His divine nature. Therefore, we are able to do the same creative works that He did—and not only that—even greater works will be possible for those who believe because He is next to our Father in heaven interceding for us. Since the power that created and continuously sustains everything that resides in the Word, and since we are now one with The Word that became flesh, Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, then it becomes very important for us to know what that power is, how it functions, and what our responsibilities and calling are in regards to how we are to administer that power that has been vested in us who believe. Hebrews 5:11, 14 "Of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing...But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." The of whom, is Jesus, The Word who created everything and who became flesh, and the hard to explain part is about the creative power that we have inherited in Him through His divine nature. It is hard to explain because of us having ears that do not want to hear because it does not come natural to our senses that words can be so powerfully creative. But the Lord wants to train us in how to utilize this tremendously creative force, that by reason of use we can make our senses to discern the importance of this gift and our responsibilities to it. For as we become able to discern between good and evil, God is able to use our words as a mighty weapon for the benefit of mankind. In this book we will put our emphasis in the impact that both blessing and cursing words have upon humanity as a whole, and on individuals in particular. We will explore the mechanics of how and why, and what our responsibilities are as we mature in our understanding of this creative process. THE COHESIVENESS PRINCIPLE Ephesians 4:15-16 "But, speaking the truth (God's Word) in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love." The first thing to notice is that in both, Hebrews chapter five, and here in Ephesians four, the theme is the maturity of the body of Christ. Hebrews 5:14 uses the words full of age, Ephesians 4:13 uses the words a perfect man. And in both cases the maturity of the body depends on how well connected that particular part of the body is to the head, that is, to Jesus Christ the Word that became flesh. Since we are dealing here with principles that transcend our humanity, let us take a look at the big picture first, before we apply it to the personal level. Colossians 1:17 "He is before all things, and in him all things hold together." KJV Let's go big here; by in Him all things hold together, Paul means the entire universe; which makes sense, since the entire universe was created by Him. Whatever thing there is that exists, was not only created by Him, The Word that became flesh, it also sustained and kept together by Him, God's Word; be it things that are visible or of the invisible things that He also created! Colossians 1:16 "For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him." Here is the foundational principle that we need to understand. If all things that exist were created and are sustained by the Word of God, whether visible or invisible, personalities or principalities, then they can either be undone or augmented by the same force of words that formed them and that sustains them! Through the process of speaking the truth in love, that is why love and maturity are required. We do not want to go around undoing or changing things that we do not understand. You do not want to go into the control room of a nuclear reactor plant and start pushing buttons and pulling levels just to see what they do, do you? Of course not! It is the same when we handle the creative power of the Word of God. Colossians 1:10 "That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God." Now to the personal level, whether we know it or not, our daily lives are impacted negatively by words that have been spoken against us personally, against our race, national origin, against our religion, against our culture, or a combination of things. To walk worthy of the Lord and to fully please Him we need to nullify those cursing words, but first we need to know what they are and where they came from. Here is a fact worth knowing, all authorities derive their power to rule from the dictates of words. That is what jurisdiction means. Jurist means law and diction means words and that is the law of the spoken word that all those who rule must follow, as well as all created things. - The Shadow of Evil | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
The Shadow of Evil To reveal the biblical mystery of evil—its origin, purpose, and end—within God’s plan of grace, showing how Christ’s redemptive work assures believers of victory over darkness. The Shadow of Evil Pastor Marcos Marrero October 9, 2023 The Shadow of Evil Objective: To reveal the biblical mystery of evil—its origin, purpose, and end—within God’s plan of grace, showing how Christ’s redemptive work assures believers of victory over darkness. Synopsis: In The Shadow of Evil, Pastor Marcos Marrero explores one of Scripture’s deepest mysteries—the origin, nature, and ultimate defeat of evil. Drawing from both Old and New Testament passages, he presents evil as a shadow: the antitype and opposite of God’s goodness. From the rebellion of Lucifer, through the curse of the law, to the rise of the Antichrist, Pastor Marcos traces how this shadow has taken form in creation and history. The book explains God’s redemptive purpose in allowing evil to manifest so that it could be fully exposed, judged, and defeated through Jesus Christ. Pastor Marcos shows how humanity, created in God’s image, plays a central role in this cosmic struggle. He emphasizes Christ’s atoning sacrifice as the antidote to sin and death, a victory that will culminate in the binding of Satan, the thousand-year reign of Christ, and the eternal glory of the New Jerusalem. Rich with biblical references and prophetic insight, The Shadow of Evil is both a theological study and a call to recognize God’s purpose and grace revealed “before time began.” It assures readers that while the shadow of evil is real, its days are numbered, and God’s eternal light will triumph forever. Sample first pages of the Book/Manual: Introduction: 2 Timothy 1:9 "Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began." (Bold and italicized added for emphasis) Before time began means that before God created our universe, He not only had a purpose for creating it—which had been hidden from us—but within that purpose was also intricately hidden the mystery of grace, and both were destined to be revealed to us in Christ Jesus. Romans 16:25 "Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret (hidden) since the world began." (Words in parenthesis and italicized are added by me unless otherwise noted.) I believe this mystery to be the revelation of the purpose behind the creation which is two-fold, God's purpose and grace. Now we who presently know God's mercy and have tasted of the sweet nectar of God's grace toward us, in the salvation that we now enjoy in Jesus, have also been given the privilege to know the hidden purpose behind the creation in which we now exist. Romans 11:33 "Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God (God's purpose and grace)! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!" It is with confidence in the abilities given to us by the Holy Spirit through the power of His grace that works within us that we now endeavor in searching out what God's real purpose was behind the creation of our universe, and how grace was the bulwark that sustained that purpose. Daniel 2:22 "He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him." I believe the key that unravels the mystery behind the purpose for creation lies in understanding the meaning of darkness and its interaction with light. We could also call it the struggle between good and evil. In either case, the true revelation of the mystery behind God’s creation can only bring glory to God and to Jesus Christ, who is the manifestation of God's grace, through whom also the abilities to reveal such secrets is given to us. Daniel 2:47 "…'Truly your God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.'" Chapter One: The Shadow Psalm 91:1 "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." So many things within our physical realm serve as types of spiritual truths: Water Baptism, Holy Communion, and Holy Matrimony, which must be between a man and a woman in order to preserve its significance, all serve as symbols of great spiritual truths. I believe shadows to be a great metaphor—if not the greatest—for explaining the purpose behind the creation of our universe. For it is only within the physical and visible parts of our universe that shadows are cast, since without a physical figure exposed to the light in three-dimensional space the shadows cannot reveal their silhouettes. 2 Corinthians 4:18 "While we do not look at the things which are seen (the things that cast shadows), but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary but the things which are not seen are eternal (there will be no shadows in the future eternity, for our eternal physical bodies will have flesh and bones animated by pure energy)." Since Paul admonishes us, regarding the interactions between the physical and the spiritual, to put our emphasis on those things which are spiritual—the things which cast no shadows—then let us ask this question: What spiritual type does a shadow represents? Within our natural understanding, our shadow is but a silhouette of our physique; from the general perspective a shadow/shade can be a shelter from the hot bright sun, or as in the Psalm above metaphorically speaking, a shadow can be seen as a covering of protection that God Himself provides for those who dwell in the secret place revealed to us in God's amazing grace! But there is a greater mystery revealed to us in Psalm 91 if we look closely; God is Spirit, and spirits cannot cast shadows for they are in essence energy—energy manifests itself as light which casts no shadows—so we must interpret the phrase, the shadow of the Almighty metaphorically of course. But just like the Light of God casts a good metaphorical shadow of protection, a shadow can also be interpreted as an opposite or a negative of what the real thing embodies. It is the same with God's goodness, which casts a metaphorical shadow which represents the opposite or a negative of the reality it mimics. You see, God is God, but He is also Good—as a matter of fact, the only One who is Good—that means that in the presence of Good, the opposite of Good—Evil—has to exist as a contrast, like a lurking shadow which has no entity; and since we know that the antitype of Good is Evil, the shadow represents the opposite of all that is Good, which is what Evil is: a shadow or opposite of God's goodness. Mark 10:18 "So Jesus said to him, 'Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.'" After being called "Good Teacher" by someone who was seeking salvation, Jesus makes the point to the seeker that if he is going to call Him Good, he is calling Him God also, since only God is good. Jesus seems to be going out of His way to make this point to us. Why is the fact that only God is Good so important? In order to know the importance of this question, we must ask another question first; Does Evil exist only here, part of our present creation, or did Evil exist before God created the universe, way back in infinity time or the time before time began? We can establish by reading the Scriptures that Evil took on essence when iniquity was found in Lucifer whose name means light bearer, who up to that moment was good and perfect; since he had been created in the image of God, like the rest of the angels and archangels. But we know that his nature was changed immediately from light-bearer to devil after he rebelled and was instantly removed from the Kingdom of the Heavenly Lights. Devil means the personal supreme spirit of evil. He also became Satan which means adversary or opposite; that means that Lucifer became Satan, the shadow or opposite of all that is Good, which is God. But the very fact is that Evil had to exist in some type, without essence of course, before the fall of Lucifer for Lucifer to be able to turn to it and become the essence of it. That brings us to what I call The Shadow of Evil. Way back in infinity time—before the creation took place—God, who is Good and has always been Good and is the only Good; outside of God, Evil had to exist but only in principle, due to the fact that the very goodness of God, which is the essence of God Himself, necessitated the existence of Evil, outside of God, to exist in principle; in order to affirm that goodness is Good and that Evil is bad, by the presence of the antitype—the shadow—which represented the very existence of Evil itself, yet without essence or form. God is infinite and He dwells in an infinity which is and will always remain undefiled, even by the mere presence of Evil. So that Evil could only exist as a metaphorical shadow that was cast by the Light of God's goodness, but existed only in principle, without essence or form. In other words, how can only God be Good if there is no antitype or contrast to His goodness? How can we be called physical humans if we do not cast shadows when exposed to the light? Angels are made of light/energy, they do not cast shadows. How can God be the only Good if there is no opposite or antitype to His goodness that defines what goodness is not? This brings us to the first part of His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began. What was God's real purpose for the creation of our universe? Following the premise that I've just laid out, and employing our knowledge of God's character and virtue, it would have been impossible for God to create creatures that embodied the goodness and sovereignty of God in infinity time, without risking the corruption of infinity time itself. Here is what I mean, let's say that God creates the same angels that He created when He created our universe, but let us place them in infinity time before God created our universe. Since Evil had no essence back then, none of the angels could have known what Evil was. They would only have knowledge of the goodness of God, but since God created them after His own image which includes God’s sovereignty, at some point in time, one or some of these good angels might venture to test the boundaries of their existence and come to the flawed conclusion that there is goodness everywhere, believing therefore that they could be good without God. That flawed thinking is what brought Lucifer down, and the many that followed him. Isaiah 14:12-15 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars (the angelic class that God created) of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.' Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the pit." No one can be like God on their own for only God is Good; that means that anyone outside of God and without God becomes the opposite of what God is. The shadow which represented the fullness and sum of all that is called Evil, in an instant indwelled Lucifer, the entity who dared to claim to be like God, and by so doing became the host of Evil and the antitype of all that God is. The Mechanic's of the Day of the Lord Pastor Marcos Marrero September 25, 2023 The Mechanic's of the Day of the Lord Objective: The objective of The Mechanics of the Day of the Lord is to equip believers with a deeper biblical understanding of end-time prophecy, particularly the events surrounding God’s final judgment and Christ’s return. The book aims to strengthen the church’s hope, prepare Christians for Christ’s imminent return, and highlight God’s perfect justice and mercy revealed through Jesus Christ. Synopsis: The Mechanics of the Day of the Lord by Pastor Marcos Marrero is a prophetic study exploring the biblical foundations, timing, and meaning of the Day of the Lord. Marrero draws extensively from Scripture—particularly Joel, Ezekiel, Daniel, Revelation, and the Gospels—to explain how God’s final judgment and redemption will unfold. The book argues that the Day of the Lord begins with a massive invasion of Israel, orchestrated by God to reveal His power and holiness to the nations. This moment initiates a cascade of events, including the resurrection of the dead, the rapture of the church, the ministry of the Two Witnesses, the reign of the antichrist, and the pouring out of God’s wrath. Pastor Marcos emphasizes prophetic cycles of seven, connecting Daniel’s 70 weeks with both personal and generational patterns of sin and redemption. By examining biblical numbers, feasts, and prophetic visions, Pastor Marcos outlines how God’s judgment is balanced with His plan of salvation through Christ. The narrative culminates in Christ’s triumphant return, the defeat of the antichrist, and the ushering in of the millennial reign of Jesus. Ultimately, The Mechanics of the Day of the Lord serves as both a warning and an encouragement: urging believers to live in readiness, proclaim the Gospel faithfully, and take comfort in God’s promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Sample first pages of the Book/Manual: The Mechanics of the Day of the Lord Joel 2:1 “Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, for it is at hand.” Italics and bold added as emphasis. Words in Italics added by me for further explanation; this applies to all scriptures in this book. What is the Day of the Lord? According to Revelation 11:18 it is the Day of God’s wrath! When God will judge both the living and the dead, and God will reward the prophets and the saints. Revelation 11:18 “The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth (with the spiritual corruption of their lying wonders and all forms of delusion).” Isaiah 34:8 “For it is the day of the Lord’s vengeance, the year of recompense (wrath) for the cause of Zion.” It is my belief that the Day of the Lord will begin as a response to the nation of Israel being invaded by a confederacy of nations whose leader originates from the north of Israel. God will not be reacting to the actions of these nations, but rather will induce these nations to act on His behalf for Him to judge them on His Holy Land at God’s appointed time. Ezekiel 38:1-6 “Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, thus says the Lord God: Behold I am against you, O Gog the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you.” A comprehensive list is given of all the participants in the above verses who will be compelled to participate in this invasion of the nation of Israel. Why is God initiating this? Ezekiel 38:16 “You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.” The God of Israel is going to manifest Himself to the entire world as the All Mighty God when He annihilates in an instant all these nations that set themselves against the nation of Israel. Ezekiel 39:6-8 “And I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in security in the coastlands. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name anymore. Then the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. Surely it is coming, and it shall be done, says the Lord God. This is the day (of God’s Wrath) of which I have spoken.” I believe that the day that the Lord reveals Himself to the entire world will also be the time when the resurrection of the dead will take place, followed immediately by the rapture of the church. Revelation 6:14-17 “Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” As we read in Ezekiel’s prophecy: This is the day (of God’s Wrath) of which I have spoken. Let us read the context in which the sixth seal is opened. Revelation 6:12-13 “I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth (the devil and his angels are thrown out of heaven to the earth) as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.” Through the prophet Joel a great deal of revelation was given about the Day of the Lord and its occurrence. It was through the prophet Joel that the prophecy that pointed to the beginning and to the end of the church age was given as well. Peter read Joel’s prophecy about the birth and end of the church age out loud on the day of Pentecost. Acts 2:17-18 “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.” The first part of Joel’s prophecy was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost, when the church was empowered to go unto all the nations of the world and bring to them the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So that the nations could repent before God’s Day of Wrath came upon them. The second part of Joel’s prophecy foretold how the end of the church age would come about! Acts 2:19-21 “I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” The Scripture evidence that these signs and wonders in the heavens and in the earth will precede the immediate beginning of the Day of the Lord is overwhelming. And if we are looking for these signs and welcoming them we are assured that our removal will precede the judgment part; for the church will not be here for the Wrath of God, since God has not appointed us unto wrath. We can be better witness to those around us who do not know the mechanics of God’s Day of Judgment. It will be up to those in the church to declare that the end is near! 2 Peter 3:10-11 “But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness.” For two thousand years the faithful witnesses of the church have been proclaiming to the world the great news of God’s salvation through the blood and grace of Jesus Christ for all the lost. But as we look at the conditions of the nations of the world today, they are in full revolt against God and the morality of His commandments. And even His chosen nation, Israel, is in disarray, and there is even compromise in some, if not many of His churches. There is no fear of God in the land anymore and no respect for the commandments that He gave us. But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night on all who do not love His appearing and are not eagerly expecting His soon return. We are commanded to be sober and to be vigilant, searching the Scriptures diligently for in them we find the comfort of His peace in our salvation. Mark 4:11-12 “And He said to them, To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, so that Seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand; lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them.” If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, you have the Holy Spirit within you and are qualified to understand the teaching of the manner in which He is coming to deliver all of us from the Day of His Wrath, which will be poured out upon those who have rejected the Gospel of Jesus Christ that could have saved them. Next, we are going to teach what happens to those who are left behind after the rapture of the church takes place, and the Day of God’s Wrath falls upon the nations of the world. But first let us examine the mystery related to this seven year period of what I call: the cycles of time. Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks (70 x 7 = 490 years) are determined for your people (Israel) and for your holy city (Jerusalem), to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.” When Daniel was a young boy the city of Jerusalem and the Holy Temple in it were destroyed by the Babylonian army, and Daniel was taken captive as a slave. Upon learning from the writings of Jeremiah the prophet that after seventy years of captivity the exiles of Israel were allowed to go back to their own land. Daniel realized that the nation of Israel owed the land a cycle of seventy years of rest, for there are seventy Sabbaths years in a 490 year period, hence why God drove the Israelites out allowing the land of Israel to have its seventy years of rest they owed. Daniel concluded that a new 490-year period had started for Israel when the decree was given for the Jews to go back to their land. Daniel was very eager to know what this new era of 490-year duration would bring upon the people that he loved and the city of his dreams. The Kingdom of the First Born Pastor Marcos Marrero October 10, 2023 The Kingdom of the First Born Objective: The objective of The Kingdom of the Firstborn is to provide believers with a deeper understanding of Jesus Christ as the eternal Firstborn over all creation and Firstborn from the dead. Pastor Marcos aims to reveal the mysteries of creation, light and darkness, and the nature of time through the lens of Scripture, guiding readers to comprehend their identity as children of God. The book seeks to strengthen faith, equip Christians to walk in the Kingdom of Light, and inspire them to embrace their eternal inheritance in Christ, who has called them out of darkness into His marvelous light. Synopsis: The Kingdom of the Firstborn by Pastor Marcos Marrero is a theological exploration of the mystery of creation, time, and divine purpose as revealed through Scripture. The book examines what it means for Jesus to be the Firstborn over all creation (Colossians 1:15) and the Firstborn from the dead, presenting Him as the eternal Word of God who entered time and space to establish a new order. Pastor Marcos contrasts Infinity Time (God’s eternal, unchanging realm) with Eternity Time (the created universe, bound by beginnings and endings). Through this lens, he unpacks the mystery of light and darkness, the process of creation, and humanity’s role as beings made in God’s image. He explores how God’s light, divided into measurable and infinite forms, not only brought creation into existence but also serves as a spectrum of spiritual meaning—blood, fire, gifts, life, spirit, covering, and humility. The narrative emphasizes that believers are not of this world but have been called into the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of the Firstborn. This kingdom is populated by those who are reborn through the Spirit, purified through trials, and destined to share eternity with Christ. Pastor Marcos presents human history and the cosmos as a temporary stage in God’s eternal plan, culminating in a new heaven and new earth where righteousness dwells. Ultimately, The Kingdom of the Firstborn portrays God’s radical act of love—bringing something entirely new into His unchanging eternity—so that redeemed humanity might share in His light, life, and eternal fellowship. Sample first pages of the Book/Manual: INTRODUCTION Colossians 1:15-18 “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.” (Bold added by me for emphasis and applies to the rest of this book unless otherwise noted.) The concept of “the firstborn” when applied to Jesus can be kind of troublesome in the minds of some believers, especially as we consider the fact that Jesus is God Eternal who has always been, for He is without beginning and without end, and shall forever be! Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I change not.” KJV “The firstborn over all creation” Just what do the Scriptures mean when they refer to Jesus as being the firstborn over all creation? We can make the argument as I do in my book “Man’s Final Destiny” that “The Word of God” is the second person of the Godhead: 1 John 5:7 “For there are three that bear witness in heaven: The Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.” And that through Him: “The Word of God” all things were created, since God Spoke everything into existence by saying “Let there be…! John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:3 “All things were made through Him (the Word), and without Him nothing was made that was made.” (Anything in parenthesis and italicized is added by me unless otherwise noted.) The Eternal Word of God did not become flesh until He entered into the body that was prepared for Him some two thousand years ago, namely the body Jesus; who was conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit. The Word entered the physical body of Jesus and at that precise moment The Word of God became flesh. John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” Paul continues and tells us that Jesus, the Word of God is He is before all things. However, Paul appears to be making this statement directly about Jesus, the Word incarnate. For in verse 13 of the same chapter he writes: Conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.” And in other Scriptures as well, some quoted in the letter to the Hebrews; it seems to be making the same point of a beginning or a starting point for the Son at a very specific point in time. Hebrews 1:5-6 “For to which of the angels did He ever say: ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You’? And again: ‘I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son’? But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: ‘Let all the angels of God worship Him.’” “The beginning, the firstborn from the dead” Meanwhile this phrase seems to imply that its beginning should be applied only to the time immediately after the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Obviously, there is more to these Scriptures than meets the eye. Was there a transformative event that took place with the works of creation that God somehow used to represent Himself into a form or manner into the likes of which He had never revealed Himself? In other words, did the God that does not change, transform Himself into something new, something that had never existed before? In this writing I intend to shed light on the mysteries hidden within the history of creation as presented in the Bible. Hopefully to expound on the premises on which God has founded His works: like… Did the God that never change really transform Himself into something new? Did He create us into His new image and why? What is the mystery of light and darkness? What about the time before time began? What is the future of the physical elements that forms everything that is tangible? And are we able to comprehend the vastness and complexities espoused to the creation? Matthew 13:11 “…Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven…” It will be folly for me, or for anyone else for that matter, to think that we would be able to understand all mysteries concerning such complex matters as to the why, where, when and the how’s of God’s creative works, but clearly we have been given an agent that is just as much God as the Father is and as the Son is, He is the Holy Spirit, and His ministry is to teach us all truth as it concerns the kingdom of the Son of His love: The Firstborn of the Father. IN THE BEGINNING GOD STARTS A NEW TIMELINE Genesis 1:2 “The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.” As God begins the work of creation the first question that we need to ask is this: What does the Scripture mean by “the earth”? The Hebrew word “Strong’s concordance # {776} År,a, — 'erets” means “to be firm”, which seems to imply in the text that says that it had no form or substance that the earth was not earth (physical) yet, for as yet light had not entered into it. Which brings us into the very simple yet powerful concept of the time before time began. If we can grasp this concept it will be so much easier for us to understand the Bible, because it is a foundational concept upon which so much Scripture is invested. Our present time did not begin until light—energy—was introduced, even science confirms that our present time started with a flash of light, what they commonly refer to as the big bang, which set in motion (according to them) our present time and space traveling outwards from a fixed starting point. What that means is that before our present time began, all physical, and by physical, I mean tangible matter did not exist, for it did not have form, and was void of substance. If it existed, it did so in some kind of invisible substance called “nothing” and if it existed it did so within a different time frame called: The Deep. Hebrews 11:3 “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” Why is the understanding of time before the creation and time after the creation so important? 2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” We cannot fully understand the mysteries of the creation until we understand the principle of the time before time began. Let me give you an example, everything in our present day “time and space” has a beginning and has an ending, everything within it is decaying and dying. Hebrews 1:10-12 “…You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You remain; and they will all grow old like a garment; like a cloak You will fold them up, and they will be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not fail.” Here we see clearly that time exists in two very different planes: our physical creation which includes its interactions with the heavens and they are deteriorating and passing away; but God remains the same, years (time) have no effect upon Him for He is not a product or part of the creation, nor is He bound by the entropic laws that govern our present day “time and space”. If God is not bound by our present time and space, then what time does He live in and what space does He occupy? Psalm 147:5 “Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.” Let me introduce these two words: Infinity and Eternity. I will use these words to separate time as we know it now, from the time that existed before our present time began. I will define my biblical understanding of infinity as time without beginning or ending, as time that cannot be measure, for it has neither substance nor variations of any shape or form. It has always existed and will always continue to exist for infinity. Liken it to a never ending flowing river of flooding lights that emanates from an inexhaustible deep. James 1:17-18 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.” Infinity Time as I call it is the dwelling place of the Eternal Godhead. God is infinite so He dwells in infinity. Within Him there are no variations or shadow of turning. He lives in a time frame that has neither variations nor turnings. Nothing within that realm can ever be measured, as a matter of fact, most humans can’t even get a handle on the premise of something that has no beginning or ending, or of a place where past, present and future coexist in perfect harmony. Revelation 22:13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” The best way for me to get a hold of the Biblical concept of Infinity Time is by contrasting it to the creation which is our present time. Let’s compare our present creation to the alphabet. If you take the alphabet from A to Z, just think how many things have been written just by combining the few letters contained within the alphabet, its potential is so vast that it can never be exhausted. Yet, the alphabet itself can be contained within one single sheet of paper that keeps deteriorating the longer time passes. So it is with creation that there are an endless world of possibilities and potentials, but nevertheless contained within a fixed order of time and space that is destined to decay and to destruction. All creation is headed for a magnanimously unavoidable end that will transform it into something totally new.
