  • FREEDOM FROM MASONIC CURSES | HoFM

Top of Page Top of Page Empowering Prayers Freedom from Masonic Curses SAY THIS OUT LOUD: Father God, creator of heaven and earth, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ your Son. I come as a sinner seeking forgiveness and cleansing from all sins committed against You, and others made in Your image. I honor my earthly father and mother and all my ancestors of flesh and blood, and of the spirit by adoption and godparents, but I utterly turn away from and renounce all their sins. I forgive all my ancestors for the effects of their sins on me and my children. I confess and renounce all of my own sins. I renounce and rebuke Satan and every spiritual power of his affecting me and my family. I renounce and forsake all involvement in Freemasonry or any other lodge or craft by my ancestors and myself. In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce and cut off Witchcraft, the principal spirit behind Freemasonry, and I renounce and cut off Baphomet, the spirit of Antichrist and the spirits of Death, and Deception. I renounce the insecurity, the love of position and power, the love of money, avarice or greed, and the pride which would have led my ancestors into Masonry. I renounce all the fears which held them in Masonry, especially the fears of death, fears of men, and fears of trusting, in the name of Jesus Christ. I renounce every position held in the lodge by any of my ancestors or myself, including "Master," "Worshipful Master," or any other. I renounce the calling of any man "Master," for Jesus Christ is my only Master and Lord, and He forbids anyone else having that title. I renounce the entrapping of others into Masonry, and observing the helplessness of others during the rituals. I renounce the effects of Masonry passed on to me through any female ancestor who felt distrusted and rejected by her husband as he entered and attended any lodge and refused to tell her of his secret activities. I also renounce all obligations, oaths and curses enacted by every female member of my family through any direct membership of all Women's Orders of Freemasonry, the Order of the Eastern Star, or any other Masonic or occultic organization. • THE LORD IS RIGHTEOUS, GRACIOUS, AND NEA | HoFM

OTHER TEACHINGS THE LORD IS RIGHTEOUS, GRACIOUS, AND NEAR Psalm 145:17-18 “The Lord is righteous in all His ways, gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call u pon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.” King David begins Psalm 145 with a shout of praise to God. It is interesting that David addresses Him as my God, O King; let’s take a look at how David begins this Psalm of adoration. Psalm 145:1 “I will extol (praise) You, my God, O King; and I will bless Your name forever and ever.” It takes a king to understand the difficulties of fairly and justly ruling over a kingdom. This Psalm can be read from the perspective of a testimonial that David, as a human king who understood the difficulties of ruling and reigning over flawed humans, bestowed upon our God the Creator, who is also the Great ruling King over all mankind. In our opening text, David makes three key points that underline the qualities with which God rules as King over His creation. First David says of God’s rule: The Lord is righteous in all His ways. Coming from any of us, that statement would not carry as much weight as it does coming from an earthly king who ruled over God’s people for forty years. If you have ever been in a position of leadership, you know how difficult it is to make decisions that affect a group of people and really say to yourself that such decision would be accepted as the perfect choice by everyone involved. As any true leader will tell you, you can’t please everyone, as I’m sure David knew that very well, but yet He says of God our King, that He is righteous in all His ways. Why is this fact so important, that God’s rule is always perfect? Doubt is the opposite of faith, and without faith it is impossible to please God, so that if we are doubting the righteousness of God on any situation that we face, we put ourselves at a disadvantage, and by doing so we forfeit the blessings that are offered to us within His kingdom. Psalm 145:5 “I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on (the words of) Your wondrous works.” Meditating is the process of slowly ingesting and digesting information, in David’s case he was meditating not only on what God had promised him, but also in what God had already accomplished in his life as well. In the early struggles of my walk by faith journey, I remember at times feeling abandoned by the Lord just because certain things did not work out the way that I expected them to work out, and I remember the words of encouragement that Jesus would always send my way, I did not bring you out this far just to let you go! Psalm 145:19 “He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.” I soon realized that in our walk of faith we have to learn how to walk in what the Bible calls the fear of the Lord before He will hear our cry for help, in other words we have to learn how to respect the way that His kingdom operates, which is by faith. Oh, the innocence of those times! One of my first lessons in hearing from the Lord occurred as I was driving from the Orange County area in California where I lived at the time, to the San Fernando Valley area to get pay from my labor as a painting contractor, for that was where the office was located that I had done the work for. Immediately as I started driving towards the office I felt the Lord impressing on me that I was to go someplace and pray after I left the office, so when I picked up the check I said to the Lord, where do you want me to go and pray Lord? Of course I heard nothing back, but since I was sure He had spoken to me earlier, I proceeded through a mountain road down to the coast where the Malibu area is located, for I figured that the mountain or the beach would be a good place to stop and pray. I still felt nothing, so I continued down the coast to the South Bay area of Los Angeles hoping to hear from the Lord as to where I was supposed to stop and pray, about two hours had elapsed and nothing, the church that we attended was in the port area of Los Angeles so I thought that God wanted me to go to the church and pray there, so that was where I headed, when I got over there, the Christian school was having an event in the auditorium, so praying there was out of the question. As I walked through the parking lot to get in my car and finally drive home, someone flagged me down, a church member and his wife had just gotten real bad news and asked me if I would pray with them over the situation that they were facing. I told them of my ordeal just to find out where I was supposed to go and pray, and it encouraged them so much that God had sent someone to pray for them before they even got the bad news, that their faith was made strong enough to overcome their situation. I realized there and then that God always has a perfect plan for everything that He does, and that all that is required of us is to remain faithful, for if we do not give up, we will not only have the victory over whatever situation we are facing, but in time we will understand how perfect and marvelous God’s ways are. Psalm 145:6 “Men shall speak (as I just did) of the might of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness.” I learned then, and continue to learn now, that the Lord is righteous in all His ways, whether I understand them or not, after all it is said and done the fact that the Lord is righteous in all His ways will be revealed to all the saints and will be acknowledged by them. Psalm 145:10 “All Your works shall praise You, O Lord, and Your saints shall bless You.” Secondly, David said about God’s rule that the Lord is: Gracious in all His works! Psalm 97:2 “Clouds and darkness surrounds Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.” All the works of God are perfect, and since we forfeited our perfection when Adam sinned, the justice of God has to be satisfied, that is why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins, to satisfy the righteous demands of justice. So that all of the works of God on behalf of mankind are all founded on His grace, as David also acknowledged. Psalm 145:8-9 “The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.” In Bible days a king ruled supreme, the words that came out of his mouth were the law, anyone who trespassed against the king’s edicts faced sure death unless the king pardoned their transgression by offering them his mercy. David understood the principles of mercy, because from his ruling position he also understood that the righteousness of God required perfection, something that no human had, that is also why the Messiah had to be all human and all perfect. Thirdly, David said about God’s rule that: The Lord is near to all who call on Him! Imagine that, in the natural, the more responsibility that a person in leadership has the more difficult it is for people to get near them, for their time becomes that much more valuable, so that we usually have to deal with the underlings of those who exercise great authority, but not so with our King, He can meet alone with everyone of His subjects at the same time and in different places, because our King is also God. Psalm 145:13 “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations.” And unlike our present world system where the lower that we are in the societal spectrum, the more difficult it is for us to reach those who are in authority, with our Eternal King is the opposite. Psalm 145:14 “The Lord upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down.” No wonder David was praising God with such great exuberance, for what he is saying in this Psalm is that there is no god like our God. Psalm 145:3 “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable (beyond our understanding).” So that it is always by faith; our righteousness comes by faith in His Word, our dealings with Him are always based on our faith of His gracious works toward us, and by faith we know that He is always near to us, for we know that He will never leave us nor forsake us. And that’s the truth, so let us call upon Him in truth, for He hears us. Back to Other Teachings

  • O JERUSALEM, JERUSALEM! | HoFM

Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING O JERUSALEM, JERUSALEM! Luke 13:34 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!” Jerusalem is the city of the Great King, and as such, she represents the dwelling place of all those who make Jesus their King. Matthew 5:35 “...Nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.” Jesus is lamenting the fact that those who dwell in His city and are under His protection from the enemy, do not take heed to His warnings and run to Him in the face of danger, just as when a hen makes a warning sound and her chicks run under her covering for protection. What is it that makes men unwilling to run to God in times of danger? Many do not know God’s lovingkindness and compassion well enough, so they fear Him, others do not trust God enough to run to Him in their hour of need, while others do not think that God cares for them, so they say to themselves, why bother. 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” Is no wonder that the enemy uses fear to try and scare away from God those who are not really sure of God’s unconditional love for them, once the devil gets them away from God’s protection they become easy prey. I believe that this kind of fear will be the greatest factor that will be at play at the soon return of Jesus, when He comes to take us to be with Him in the clouds, while He judges those left back here on the earth. When the dreadful signs appear in the sky that His return is imminent, I fear that many believers will not see Jesus as coming to rescue them, but rather to judge them, due to the fact that they have not been made perfect in God’s love, you can get so embroiled on religious traditions and practices, that you forget what real Christianity is all about. I know that I harp on this a lot, but I truly believe that so many Christians in this present generation have been sold a bill of goods that does not measure up to what the Scriptures really teach about what is going to happen at Jesus’ return. For years I believed that the rapture would be an event that would happen instantly and without warning, for that was how many Christian movies about the rapture portrayed it, and the endless preachings that nobody knew the day nor the hour, so why bother to look for His return. 1 Thessalonians 5:2-6 “For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.” Notice the stark contrast that Paul creates between light and darkness, and between those who know what the coming events entails and between those who do not know. Those of us who believe, have the Scriptures, that is why Paul tells us that we (should) know perfectly that Jesus’ return will catch the unbelievers by surprise, but then he says: but you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. The reason why it should not overtake us as a thief is because we are children of light, we have the Scriptures to enlighten us, and then he underscores what the Scriptures teach about Jesus’ return: but let us watch and be sober, watch for what you may ask? His return of course. Luke 21:27 “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” Now here is the key to what I am harping about; when Jesus appears in the cloud everybody will see Him, believers as well as unbelievers, what Paul is trying to teach us has more to do with how we are going to react when we see Him, will we see Him as a judge or as a savior. No doubt the world will be surprised when He appears, for they will see Him as a judge coming to judge them, and they are not, and have not been looking forward to that, however, we should see Him as a Savior coming to rescue us, for we have been anxiously awaiting for His return. But what if you have been told for years and years, as I was, that nobody knows about His return, so don’t bother with it, how will you react then, when you see Him in the cloud and all those people around you are running to the bomb shelters, will you run with them to get away from Him? Or will you with a firm and secure voice tell those around you what the Scriptures declare, that they that call upon the name of the Lord will be saved? Acts 2:19-21 “I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turn into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” In Luke 21:26 Jesus tells us that men’s heart will be failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken, which is what we see occurring in the Scripture that we just quoted from in the book of Acts. In the midst of the heavens and the earth becoming unglued, will you be able to say with complete assurance to those around you that, that is your Jesus coming in the cloud to take you away from all this chaos? And will you also be able to tell them what the Scriptures declare, that if they call upon the name of the Lord that they too shall be saved? That will very much depend on whether deep within your heart His perfect love for you, has casted out all fears, and also as to whether you have a reasonable understanding of what Scriptures teach will happen at His return. I always thank God for His grace and mercy that makes up for all that we do not know or understand, for He truly loves us, but as children of the Light we have an obligation to receive the enlightenment of His truth, if for nothing else, that we may be of help to those around us when that glorious day finally appears. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem...How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!” Remember our opening Scripture? Well, Jerusalem plays a very key role in the end time fulfillment of prophecy as it pertains to the return of Jesus to the earth, if we understand this next Scripture it will help us even more to be ready and to know that His return is imminent. Zechariah 12:2-3 “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.” The Scriptures clearly indicate that Judah in general, present day Israel, and Jerusalem in particular, will be the focus point that will initiate the return of the Lord to the earth. Many Scriptures point to an invasion of the land of Judah by a confederacy of nations to the north of Israel, to remove Jerusalem from been the capitol of Israel will be their main objective, while the extermination of the Jewish nation will be their overall goal. Zechariah 12:9 “It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.” Before God’s final judgment against humanity begins, He will show Himself Holy to the nations of the world, that means that He will perform a miraculous deliverance of behalf of the city of Jerusalem, by supernaturally destroying all the nations that attacked Jerusalem. We will witness that invasion, and it will be a sign to us to get ready, for when Jesus reveals Himself to destroy those invading nations, it will also be the time when He reveals Himself to all who want to be taken out of this world. The timing of the invasion of the land of Israel by a northern confederacy may come as a surprise to us, but not the outcome, for when that invasion takes place, we are pretty much done here on the earth. 1 Thessalonians 5:8-9 “But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Back to End Times Teachings

  • I HAVE CHOSEN | HoFM

Top of Page OTHER TEACHINGS I HAVE CHOSEN Psalm 119:30 “I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.” Choice is one of the most, if not the most radical concept that has ever been introduced to mankind. I know that many of us here in the west take this concept of choice for granted sometimes. But if we take a sober look at the history of mankind, we will come to the conclusion that the majority of humanity never had much of a choice as far as to how they wanted to conduct their lives. Even today, there are many that are born in nations that refuse to give them a choice, be it freedom of movement, freedom of religion, or even, economic freedom. If you are born today into a religion that proclaims that to depart from such religion is a crime that is punishable by death, you clearly do not have much of a religious choice, that is, if you want to go on living. You would be surprise to know how many nations today forbid the right of their citizens to choose which God they want to worship. And if you are a Christian in certain parts of Iraq today, you will be forced to renounce Christ and convert to Islam, and if not, you will die, even if your family had lived in those areas as Christians for hundreds of years. That is the history of humanity in a nut shell, seems like there is always somebody who thinks that he knows what is better for everybody else, and for some reason they are the ones that end up with the power to lord it over everybody else. From a biblical perspective let us take a look as to where does the right to choose originate from. Genesis 2:16-17 “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, ‘Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.’” Even before Eve was created, the first man, who was created in the image of God, was given a choice; everything was made available to him except one, for he was forbidden to partake of the tree of dead. God is sovereign, that means that He does whatever He chooses to do. Adam was created in the image of God, so he was made a sovereign creature. The difference between Adam and God, is that God is Good, so that God can never choose to do wrong, however, even though Adam was made sovereign, he was also naked, that means that he had not yet been clothed with God’s eternal goodness and immortality, since he had not yet partaken of the tree of life, therefore he is forbidden to partake of that which can kill him. But if Adam partakes of the tree of life first, he makes the tree of death obsolete. For the tree of life offers to cover Adam with God’s goodness and immortality. Which by the way is what Jesus covers us with. Romans 13:12, 14 “The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on (clothe ourselves with) the armor of light...But put on (cover ourselves with) the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.” This is why when we are born again, that is Jesus becomes the covering for our nakedness, God considers us good and without sin. 1 John 3:9 “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed (Jesus our covering) remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” That is because as far as God is concerned, when we came before His throne and confessed our sins before Him, He killed us, for the soul that sins shall surely die. But since we came before His throne in the name of Jesus, the death of Jesus on the cross is imputed to us, and our sins are forgiven, and Jesus covers us with His goodness and His eternal life. But even after we become born again, we still have to make choices, for as long as we remain in our mortal bodies that we inherited from Adam, we will always be plagued by our propensity to sin. 1 John 1:8 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” So that from the spiritual perspective God only sees the atoning blood of Jesus when He looks at us, for His seed, God’s Son, remains in us, therefore we cannot sin. But from the physical perspective we still have to make choices, and wrong choices bring bad consequences. 1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light (here is our choice) as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” So that as born-again believers, the choices that we make will determine what our condition will be in any given circumstance. God already made His choice; He chose to love us, for He is love. He provided for us the cleansing agent, which is the blood of Jesus. Now it is up to us to either walk in the light, which is the revelation of His salvation to us, or we can choose to follow after the desires of our flesh, and fall into the other choice that God has made for those who reject His free offer of grace and salvation. Jeremiah 34:17 “Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘You have not obeyed Me in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother and everyone to his neighbor. Behold, I proclaim liberty to you,’ says the Lord— ‘to the sword, to pestilence, and to famine! And I will deliver you to trouble among all the kingdoms of the earth.’” Isn’t it amazing that while the world is seeking to enslave men, and to deprive them of choice, and to keep them captive, God is in the business of freedom of choice. Even when enlightened men, those who should know better, for they have tasted of the freedom that comes from knowing God—turn their backs on God’s grace and love—it is their choice that God gives them the freedom to fall into, no matter how bad their choices are for them. In our opening text, the eight verses of Psalm 119, verses 25–32, correspond with the Hebrew letter Daleth, which means door. A door is a place of entrance, no one can be born again unless he first opens the door of his heart to let the Lord in. Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me.” So that the choices that we make open doors through which we will have to transverse, whether we like it or not, so that it becomes very important that we understand where the doors lead that we open by the choices that we make. Psalm 119:25 “My soul clings to the dust; Revive me according to Your word.” We open the door to our Lord’s salvation when we come to the realization that we cannot save ourselves. My soul clings to the dust, so we seek the salvation that is prescribed in God’s Word. How does God Word say that we are to be saved? Psalm 119:26 “I have declare my ways (confessed my sins), and You answered me (You saved me); teach me Your statutes.” Why do we need to learn His statutes? Because our choices open doors, and now that we are saved we do not want to open doors that are not in our best interest. We want to make choices that align with the plans that He has for our lives. Revelation 3:7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens.’” We want the doors that the Lord opens to remain open, and we want the doors that the Lord closes to remain close. In order for that to happen we need to learn His statutes and make the choices that they prescribe. Psalm 119:27 “Make me understand the way of Your precepts; so shall I meditate on Your wonderful works.” Understanding is what we are trying to gain from this lesson. If we can be made vividly aware of the ill consequences of unwise choices, we would think twice before we make them. Do we really want liberty to fall to the sword, to pestilence, and to famine? I say that is not a liberty that I want. O Lord, please close that door and keep me as far away from it as possible! We can only pray that prayer with real faith if we are made aware, that is, we understand the perils that those wrong choices can bring into our lives. Psalm 119:28 “My soul melts from heaviness; strengthen me according to You word.” Imagine that! It seems like the psalmist knew a thing or two about wrong choices, his words seem to cry out, not my will O Lord, not my will, but according to Your Word! Psalm 119:29 “Remove from me the way of lying, and grant me Your law graciously.” A lie is always the perversion of truth. Since we desire the truth of His Word, we need to stay focus on His law, or Word of grace. It is not by works that we have done, but by His grace that we are saved! Psalm 119:31 “I cling to Your testimonies; O Lord, do not put me to shame!” Once the right choice was made in verse 30: I have chosen the way of truth, now we cling to His promised salvation, and as we do, we will not be put to shame. Psalm 119:32 “I will run the course of Your commandments, for You shall enlarge my heart.” What a beautiful promise we conclude with, a heart that is big enough to receive tremendous enlightenment, and yet, a heart that is able to remain humble and accessible to God at all times. I want to be like that! Don’t you? Back to Other Teachings

  • THEREFORE WE HOPED | HoFM

Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY THEREFORE WE HOPED But also, if we die daily, that means that we start anew daily. So that hope springs new and eternal every morning, leaving yesterday’s failures, and the thoughts about them, behind. Romans 15:13 “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” What is hope made of? According to our opening Scripture the God of hope is able to fill us with all joy and peace in believing, and it is also able to endue us with power from the Holy Spirit. We could say that hope is the key ingredient that allows us to live a life that is confident and secured in the promises that God has given to each and everyone of us. When all else is lost, hope remains! As a matter of fact, hope even triumphs in those who feel that they have lost all hope—when against all hope, they hope anyway. Romans 4:18 “Who, contrary to hope, in hope believed…” We get a sense then, that hope is that indispensable gift that remains, even after all else is lost. So that if we had to choose which of the many qualities that makes up hope is the greatest, undoubtedly, we would all agree that the fact that hope can never be truly lost is the greatest of all of its qualities. We could say then that hope is like a default setting that has been placed inside each and everyone of us. No matter how much we mess up and deviate from God’s original plan for our lives and therefore end up losing everything, we can always turn to the default setting of hope and start all over again. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” The seed of hope brings forth a blooming faith. Were it not for hope, no one could start a new life after wasting a previous one. In order for a new beginning to be successful it has to start in a positive note, so hope brings not only faith, but joy and peace as well. We could say then that hope is a repellent against bitterness, anger, and fear, all those things that would hinder a new beginning. Now here is a mystery, how can hope and a new beginning be part of my daily Christian walk? 1 Corinthians 15:31 “I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.” The salvation of our souls requires that we die daily to ourselves and that we also die daily to our own selfish desires. The only way that a person is able to truly die daily to their own self-interests is if they live their lives in the hope that Christ’s plan for their lives is better for them, than the plan that this world is offering them. So that our hope of a better life from Christ, brings to us the daily dose of faith that its needed to make it through each day, no matter what evil that day may bring with it. But also, if we die daily, that means that we start anew daily. So that hope springs new and eternal every morning, leaving yesterday’s failures, and the thoughts about them, behind. Lamentations 3:22-23 “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” And that is the source of our joy and peace, the fact that we get a brand new start each and every day, for His compassions for us never fail. Think of a steep climb and of reaching the top of the hill as the goal. At the base we start with two climbers, one is strong, powerful, and highly skilled in climbing difficult terrains, his only flaw is that if he falls just once, he has been known to give up the climb and quit. The other is prone to falling down, and not very skilled as a climber, but he has one great quality going for him, no matter how many time he falls, he will not give up the climb! Human nature gives up in the face of failure, however, hope thrives in the face of failure, for it does not carry failure over from one day to another, it sees each new day as a brand new start with an opportunity to conquer unconquered ground. Psalm 119:147 “I rise before the dawning of the morning, and cry for help; I hope in Your word.” The essence of hope, is that hope, is the essence of God and His Word. Romans 15:4 “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience (perseverance) and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.” It does not really matter what our last fall might be before the Lord returns to take us all home, the only thing that will matter then will be the fact that even in the face of our daily failings it was found that…. THEREFORE WE HOPED! Back to Deliverance Ministry

Top of Page Top of Page EMPOWERING PRAYERS PRAY FOR OUR SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATION COMMUNITIES Written by Minister Lisa Kane 12.31.23 SAY THIS PRAYER OUT LOUD: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up the scientific and education communities around the world to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose the scientific and education communities around the world; the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in the scientific and education communities around the world, ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.” Father God, I bless the scientific and education communities around the world, with open ears, eyes, hearts, and minds to see, hear, receive, and believe the living Word of God because you state in Mark 4:12 KJV “12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” I pray in hope that they see and perceive, hear and understand so they would believe in Jesus the Son of the living God! And Heavenly Father, I bless the scientific and education communities around the world with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless the scientific and education communities around the world with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in the hearts of the people in the scientific and education communities to forgive and reconcile the nation back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray that the scientific and education communities around the world are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I also pray that past generations deceived by lies would be restored to the truth going forward. I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” manifests within the hearts of the scientific and education communities around the world. I pray that those who work in science and education will share truth and fact from the Bible. That previous generations who were taught lies will be restored with truth in the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God. I pray that the gifts of the holy spirit stated in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12 KJV “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” would unite the body of Christ under one leadership, the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God moves through each of us so that we know what to pray, how to pray, when to pray, and praise the living God in all that we do. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen! • SPIRITUAL DARKNESS | HoFM

Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY SPIRITUAL DARKNESS Matthew 6:23 “But if your eye is bad (evil, or in poor condition), your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” There are some great insights about spiritual darkness in our opening verse. First Jesus tells us that the condition of our spiritual eyes is critical for the wellbeing of our entire body. The great second insight that I find is when Jesus refers to the darkness in an individual as if the light that is in you is darkness, referring to darkness as a type of light. Let us deal first with the spiritual condition of the eyes for they have a direct effect on the body, be it positive or negative. 1 John 2:16 “For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” There are three major unclean spirits that work together to bring the entire person into spiritual darkness, these three spirits work in tandem in order to suppress and/or to pervert the higher calling of God for man. Since we are all descendants of Adam whose flesh was corrupted by the spirit of the lust of the flesh, all of us humans are born with the spirit of lust within us, also known as selfish-ambition, so that the propensity for sin is already in us. But thankfully God has blessed us with cognition, we are born with the natural ability to understand right and wrong, so that when we are tempted by our selfish desires, we have built in discernment that allows us to weigh out the possible consequences of our actions. The lust of the eyes is an external spirit, always operating from the outside trying to get in, in order to do so it has to connect with its kindred spirit, the spirit of the lust of the flesh that dwells in the inside and who is able to open the door to the external spirit that wants to come in. A bad spiritual eye, or an eye that is evil, is in no condition to recognize the spirit that lurks behind the temptation that its being tempted with, so that it cannot fully weigh the consequences of its indulging in the lust that its being offered. A good eye will always caution the person as to what is really at stake if it proceeds to indulge in the temptation. A good example would be that of a person being offered drugs for the first time; the temptation is the experience of a very personal internal high that is attained through the intake of external things, like the ingesting of drugs that alter a body’s normal functions. The effects of the drugs eventually wear out, but the spirit behind it stays in, and it becomes the force that eventually compels that person to continuously seek another, and another external fix to which it becomes addicted. A person with good spiritual eyes has the ability to weigh properly the consequences of its actions. Spiritual vision is the ability to foresee that which at the present is invisible. Let me use the same example, let’s say that a person is offered drugs for the first time, who is aware of the ruinous consequences that drugs can have in a person’s life, no matter how alluring that temporary high may sound, a person in the right frame of mind would immediately say; it is not worth it! Matthew 6:22 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good (clear or healthy), your whole body will be full of light (full of a clear and healthy understanding).” Our inabilities to understand the spiritual consequences of our actions is what plunges us into the realm of spiritual darkness. The lust of the eyes is always hard at work to deny the reality of the truth so that it can join forces with the spirit of the lust of the flesh. But there is a third spirit whose work keeps in bondage those who fell into the original deception. So that those who were originally deceived are now kept in the chains of darkness by its power, this spirit has to be defeated if they want to be made free again. Matthew 6:21 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Now we are dealing with the third and most deadly of the three, the spirit of the pride of life and it resides deep within the heart of man. It is the folly of a man that ensnares him, but it takes his pride to keep him bound. When a man replaces the light of sound judgment with the darkness that he calls light, because he is too proud to admit that he did wrong deep in his heart, that type of blindness is what is called spiritual darkness. I've been using common illustrations to portray spiritual realities here, but it is not sins or addictions that we are dealing with in this lesson, but rather, the issues here are, light which represents God’s enlightenment, and darkness which is represented by the pride of the wisdom of man. We are in the midst of spiritual warfare, there is an ensuing battle that has raged on for thousands of years, this war is being fought by the forces of darkness against the forces of light. It is not fought with carnal weapons, it is a fight between truth and lies, our mightiest of weapons is the truth of the Word of God which always defeats the lies of the enemy. Those who walk in spiritual darkness are prisoners of war who have been taken captive by the devil to do his will. Those who walk in the spiritual enlightenment of the Word of God are like mighty warriors who conquer the strongholds of the enemy and set the captives free. Who are the captives? Ephesians 4:17-18 “This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their (spiritual eyes) heart.” In times of war there should be no room for pride for it is pride, the pride of man, that blinds the human heart to the wisdom of God’s Word. The pride of a religious mindset can blind its followers to the truth of God’s Word. The pride of religious traditions can blind the minds of its followers to the truth of God’s Word. The pride of religious status, commonly known as the praise of man, can blind the minds of its recipients to the truth of God’s Word. Anything that has been corrupted, of which we are a part of somehow, if we fail to recognize the corruption and do not make every effort to alienate ourselves from it, will surely cause our minds to be blinded to the truth of the Word of God, and we do not want that. Ephesians 5:6-8 “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them. For you were once darkness, but now your are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.” Here is what I am trying to say, stay away from compromise; spiritual darkness makes its bed in compromise, and once in it your sleep will be nothing but nightmares of darkness and gloom. Is there compromise between light and darkness? How about between truth and lies? When is it okay to discard the wisdom of God for the counsel of man? But yet people do it everyday, I have to believe that it is because they have no clue as to what the will of God is for their lives. Ephesians 5:17 “Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” If we walk in the light as He is in the light then we have fellowship with one another, according to 1 John 1:7 But how can we have fellowship with those who walk in spiritual darkness? You see the predicament that walking in spiritual darkness puts the body of Christ in. But the promise is that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from that foul spirit of the pride of life that keeps so many in bondage. 2 Corinthians 7:1 “Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” We cannot cast out the spirit of the lust of the flesh that is attached to our natural selfish desires, so that we will always face temptations while in our mortal bodies. But if we are fully aware of the consequences of giving into the spirit of the lust of the eyes, it makes it easier for us to reject the temptations knowing that we do not want to be in spiritual darkness. Remember that the focus of this teaching is not about our everyday struggles with the flesh, This is a lesson about the spiritual warfare that we are engaged in. In this lesson we are exposing the spirits that want to contaminate your faith by making this a carnal fight. Our bodies already died with Christ on the cross, this is a battle for truth, the truth of the Word of God. It is the enlightenment that comes from the truth that makes the captives free. If you have fallen prey to any of the many facets of the demonic doctrines of man’s wisdom, do not walk in pride, admit that you were deceived and refuse to walk in darkness anymore. Reject compromise and stand in the truth of the Word of God and the truth of God’s Word will be your vindication. Nail the spirit of the pride of life to the cross and it will never bother you again as long as you keep your eyes on Jesus. 1 John 2:5 “But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.” Back to Deliverance Ministry
