Top of Page THE EYES OF FAITH Psalm 119:18 “Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.” If there were three facets to faith they would be, hearing, seeing, and understanding. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, but what if we do not understand what it is that we are hearing? It helps if we can see what it is that we are hearing. But even then, if we do not recognize what it is that we are hearing and seeing, then our understanding is still unfruitful. So that faith works something like this: when we read a promise from the Word of God, we hear it, and we know that we heard it because we were able to picture its fulfillment in our mind’s eye, so that we fully understand the fullness of the promise and what it entails. Ephesians 1:8-9 “Which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence (understanding), having made known to us the mystery (He revealed to us that which we could not see at first) of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself.” That is exactly what the Psalmist was praying for in our opening text, he was praying that God would reveal to him the wondrous things that are hidden in the promises of God from our natural human eyes, for the Psalmist believed that by seeing them through the eyes of faith that he would have a better grasp to understanding the promises and receiving their fulfillment in his own life. The enemy of faith is the world! Let me explain: 1 Corinthians 13:13 “And now abide (remain) faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” In the letter to the Hebrews God promises that He is going to shake everything in heaven and earth that can be shaken, so that the only things that remain after the shaking would be those things which are eternal. Hebrews 12:26-27 “Whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, ‘Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.’ Now this, ‘Yet once more,’ indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.” So that after all it is said and done and the final shaking comes, faith will still be standing, that is the faith that is based on the things which are eternal, for all the things which are made will one day be removed. 1 John 2:17 “And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” Faith that is interdependent of things which are made is not real faith, but a counterfeit, and it will not suffice in the hour of testing. Real faith sees the futility of man-made theories and teachings and rejects them outright as nonsense. Psalm 119:19 “I am a stranger in the earth; do not hide Your commandments from me.” The ground on which the Psalmist stood as he asked God to open his eyes of faith, was the fact that he considered himself a stranger to this world system, which is the enemy of real faith. So, then we must ask this question: What is the foundation of real faith? Psalm 119:24 “Your testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.” God’s testimonies are found in His Word, the Bible, and faith is the tool that allows us to hear, see, and understand God’s testimonies. If I may, let me ask you a personal question: On whose counsel do the tenants of your faith rest? My intentions are to provoke you, the reader, to take a healthy look at the condition of your faith right now. We are living in unprecedented times, the longer I live the clearer I see the worldwide conspiracy against the children of faith, we are facing some really powerful forces who are well trained and well equipped to stir doubt and to promote confusion against the Word of God in all levels of society. We better make sure that our faith rests on a solid foundation that cannot be moved no matter how hard they try to move us from our faith. Jude 3-4 “Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.” The tactics that our enemies employ against us are couched within the tenants of reproach and contempt. Psalm 119:22 “Remove from me reproach and contempt, for I have kept Your testimonies.” Contempt comes from without, and reproach comes from within. The world sets the standard, when lawlessness prevails, they treat the children of faith with contempt. When morality prevails, they creep in unnoticed and corrupt the freedoms that moral virtues afford to those who live by then, and through manipulative means of reproach they try to shame those of us who adhere to what is real and lasting faith, by calling us derogative and demeaning names. And as you well know, there is a lot of that going on out there right now against the children of real faith. However, when we keep God’s testimonies, that is we live our lives through the counsel of God’s Word, we become immunized against the effects of the inward reproach and outward contempt that our enemies continuously hurdle against us, for we judge ourselves in Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:15 “But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.” Why does the world hate us so much? Because we believe the Word of God, and as long as we continue to believe in the Word of God, they know that they cannot influence us into their herd mentality. But what they fear more than that is that we become an influence to others, as we expose their manipulative tactics, and it makes their job of leading the world astray much harder as long as we continue to walk by faith in the Word of God. Psalm 119:23 “Princes also sit and speak against me, but Your servant meditates on Your statutes.” The most powerful man in the world, who claims to be one with us in the faith, continuously reproaches the children of faith with derogatory names and personal attacks, even using his great seat of power to deny our constitutional right to free political expression, just as the Word of God predicted three thousand years ago in His Word. How is that for relevancy today. That is why we need to meditate continuously on the clearly defined statutes found in His Word. And if we are having trouble understanding what we see and hear revealed in His Word, then we need to ask Him to open the eyes of our understanding so that we can put our faith and trust in His Truth. Psalm 119:25 “My soul clings to the dust; revive me according to Your word.” The dust is this world system that we have to live in that clings and affects the operation of our souls, for it interferes with our ability to hear, see, and understand through the eyes of faith the promises that we have inherited in the Word of God. There are so many misguided people out there, many of which have a huge platform that allows them to stir up trouble and to sow the seeds of hatred and division, just for the sport of it, who do not care in the least if their rhetoric harm others. However, if we understand the spirit behind it, it will make it easy for us Christians to understand what all this chaos is all about and help us not to get caught up in the emotional turbulence of these last days. Proverbs 10:12 “Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.” The root of all the contentions that flare up constantly all over the world is the spirit of hatred, but as long as the spirit of love and forgiveness has the upper hand, the strife is contained. But if it seems that strife and contentions are ruling the day, maybe it is because we are living in the last days, because Jesus told us that during the last days the love of many would grow cold. Matthew 24:12 “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” So, the key for us believers is not to get caught up in the emotional hatred of the day, but rather continue in love, forgiving one another, even as the Lord forgave us all and gave to us His unconditional pardon. I know that for many of you out there, you may feel that the hatred and contentions of these last days will not have a direct impact on your personal life, but you have to remember that most people think that way, and if by chance you happen to get caught up in it, because of your failure to prepare yourself for such an occasion, you may end up failing to respond properly in your heart with the spirit of love and compassion, and instead you may lose your composure and respond with evil intent. When the Bay of Pigs invasion took place in Cuba in 1961, I was just 14 years old. Castro’s soldiers came to our house and arrested my dad and brother who was eight years older than me; I guess I was too young so they did not take me. They arrested everyone that they thought might be a threat to them, even though we lived far from the place where the invasion took place. Their strategy was to lock up everybody that might join with the invading forces in an uprising against the communist government. They took all the people that they arrested and put them in the yard of a government owned building. They put machine guns facing them in the two corners of the yard facing the building, and were ordered to shoot them if an invasion started near our town. I was there on the street watching in unbelief, looking as it all took place. Then communist agitators started fanning the flames of hatred toward those innocent people of the town, whose only crime was that they had not previously joined the communist militia in support of Castro. A large crowd of people had gathered on the street to see, like I had, all that was taking place. To my amazement the people of the town who knew the innocence of those who were locked there for no good reason, all of the sudden under the impulse of those communist agitators who were calling out for vengeance, joined them, calling out loud for the execution of those who were locked in the yard. I was there, in their midst, looking at them and saying to myself, that is my dad and my brother in there, how could you say that, but they were blinded by such a strong hatred that all they wanted was blood. I will never forget that day as long as I live, and thankfully the invasion did not come any where near us, so that eventually, after two weeks most of them were released, including my dad and brother. Who were the people in the crowd? Some of them were our very own neighbors. I remember thinking, as they were loudly chanting for the execution of innocent blood, the many times that my dad had so selflessly helped many of those in the crowd in their hour of need, for it was a small town of about three thousand people. But you see there is no reasoning with the spirit of hate, and the only protection against it is for us not to get emotionally involved with the propagation of such hatred, for those agitators can get pretty good at it. 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” When the believers were first filled with the Holy Spirit, many thought that they were drunk with wine, but under the influence of the Spirit of Love those believers transformed the world for the good of all mankind. Those in the crowd back in 1961, that were calling for the murder of innocent people appeared to me to be drunk as well, however their intoxication came as the result of them partaking of the venom of hate. By telling us to be sober, Peter means for us not to get intoxicated with the venom of hatred and strife that the world is constantly peddling. Remember that Peter was an eyewitness of that hatred, as he was there, present, when those who were so blinded by their hatred took our Lord away and beat Him into a bloody mess. What about all the injustices that are continuously taking place? 2 Thessalonians 1:6 “Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you.” God always has the final say. That is why He has appointed a day for every single individual to appear before Him in final judgment. Nobody gets away with anything, for if they repent and our Lord forgives them, then the sufferings that our Lord endured on behalf of all mankind pay in full for their misdeeds as well as ours; now that is something that we should all be glad about. Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” Now those of us who are in Christ have already been judged and have already passed into life eternal, though it does not yet appear like we have, because we are still here in this world. John 11:26 “And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” So that the only reason that we are still here is for our presence to be a restraining force against the spirit of strife and lawlessness that wants to intoxicate the whole world and drive them into killing each other. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 “For the mystery of lawlessness (hatred stirs up strife) is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” What restrains the mystery of lawlessness, which is nothing more than hatred stirring up strife, is the Holy Spirit that is within us, His church. Once the Holy Spirit takes the church away to meet the Lord in the clouds, His restraining presence is removed as well. What that means is that we are privileged to exercise God’s restraining power over all these demonically manufactured crises, through our prayers of binding and loosing that which God has already foreordained to be bound and to be loosed. But how can we be effective in this ministry of restraining and reconciliation if we ourselves get caught up in the vileness and hatred that is so pervasive out there? 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. The evil one is a master at manipulating human emotions and does not care who is right or who is wrong. All that he is interested in is causing hatred to flourish, for that is what stirs up strife and contentions. I once heard screaming outside of my kitchen window that looked into the street to see a fight had broken out between three or four teenage boys. And in the middle of the chaos from inside my kitchen window I prayed: Lord, this is my neighborhood, I bind every spirit of contention that is at work right now between those boys and in my street. Immediately the fracas stopped, amazingly they started to converse as to what offenses they had committed against one another, and it was then that they saw the whole thing as a simple misunderstanding and shook hands in friendship. Needless to say my jaw dropped, as I turn to my wife who was standing next to me and asked her, did that really happened? I was just praying instinctively, but even in my best faith posture I did not expect such immediate results, yet there it was, once the spirit of contention was removed, animosity slipped away and reason prevailed. Imagine the power that the church has if we can just come together in the spirit of unity and enforce our restraining power over all the power of lawlessness that has engulfed our land! PRAYER WORKS! House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Luke 21:25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roar Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY THE FOUR WAVES Luke 21:25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring.” If we look at the above verse from an entirely spiritual perspective, we see four places that are mentioned, the sun, the moon, the stars, and the earth, that will be hit by a great shaking, and this shaking will come in the form of waves. We obviously live here on the earth, but during those days there will be things that are happening in the entire cosmos that will clearly have an effect upon us here on the earth. Luke 21:26 “Men’s hearts failing them from the fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” When our text declares that the powers of the heavens will be shaken, it is clearly referring to both, a physical and a spiritual shaking that will be taking place during those days. Hebrews 12:26 “Whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, ‘Yet once more I shake not only earth, but also heaven.’” The number four is significant here because it includes the entire creation, both physical and spiritual. The spiritual emphasis that I want to deal with in this lesson is revealed to us in the form of waves, like in the waves roaring, that is waves making loud sounds that are audible. If you read some of my works, you know that I believe that there are always four spiritual forces that work together in tandem to bring about the conditions that God requires in order to bring about His desire results in any given physical situation. Like the four horseman of the apocalypse, the four trumpets, the four seals, the four winds and so on. These waves are sometimes revealed to the saints in visions or dreams; now there are common threads that link the different revelations to one another, and there are some very unique and individual aspects of the revelation that apply only to the individuals receiving them. Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” In the Old Testament, only certain people were filled with the Holy Spirit. All of the prophets of old were filled with God’s Holy Spirit, since God is Spirit and all His works always begin in the spiritual realm. Those who are filled with His Spirit are in a position to receive the revelation of what God is doing in the spiritual realm that affects us here on the earth. In the New Testament, all the believers are filled with His Holy Spirit, for no one can be born again without being born of the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit we were all baptized (plunged) into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.” So that to His church, the body of Christ, revelation is continually flowing corporally from His Spirit that bears witness of what God is presently doing in the spiritual realm. That is why when the Holy Spirit is doing a personal work in us, it seems almost like there is a conspiracy of some sort, for we see the Spirit moving through many different venues to assure us that it is He, and Him alone, not man, who is dealing with us. And when He is revealing things to His church as a whole, many different individuals, oceans apart, will have the basics of the same revelation of what God is doing or is about to do. For that is what Amos says, God will reveal His secrets to His servants, for a testimony to the whole body of believers. My personal experience with dreams of big waves started early in the decade that started in 1990. Previously to my first dream, I do not recall ever hearing about dreams of big waves from anybody . In all four of my dreams that covered a span of several years, there were always two things common on every dream, I knew what cardinal direction I was facing, and I was completely overwhelmed by the size of the waves that were always coming my way. In my first dream, I was facing north while standing on a sidewalk in front of a small country church. I was watching as people were coming out of the church when suddenly a huge massive wave arose from behind the little church. The wave was comprised of water and mud and was coming towards the church from behind. It was moving so fast that I did not even have time to tell the people to turn around and look, I just instinctively crouched behind a small retaining wall in the perimeter of the front lawn. I was so scared that my heart almost stopped, and I remember thinking that I was going to die by breathing in muddy water. I awoke right before the wave hit me an d realized that my body was shaking and I was breathing extremely heavy. In the next two or three years I had two more dreams that were just a different version of that first one. On the second dream I was facing east, there was a chain link fence in front of me, when a huge wave rose up, not as muddy as in my first dream, as I crouched down and grabbed the chain link fence, I remember thinking that the impact would probably rip my fingers off, thankfully I awoke again right before it hit me. In the third dream I was facing south when a huge wave rose again as before. The dream of the fourth wave came a couple of years later, I was facing west in the South Bay area of Los Angeles CA, looking at the San Pedro/Palos Verdes hill, when out of the Pacific ocean a huge, more massive wave than any of the others that I had dreamed before rose up. It was made of pure crystal-clear water, and just as beautiful as it was awesome. In this dream I did not fear, I did not crouch, and I didn’t wake up before the wave hit me, for even though I was very scared, I welcome that which was coming my way. The wave went over me and through me with great energy, but I was still standing, and as I looked around, all the houses and buildings were gone, and in their place, pools of living waters were drawing in the weak and the feeble to drink freely of it. In March of 1997, I had the privilege to travel to the Brownsville revival that was taking place in Pensacola Florida. For three marvelous days I witness the power of God moving upon thousands of people that were gathered there for that wonderful experience. We attended the Sunday morning service before we left that day and there was a guess speaker teaching that morning. He spoke about four spiritual waves that would hit from four different directions before the Lord returns for us. Can you just picture my jaw dropping as he started his message? He spoke about a revival that was taking place in Toronto, Canada, as the wave from the north, the revival in Pensacola as being the wave from the east, the revivals that were going on in South America, as the wave from the south, and get this, he spoke about a final outpouring of the Holy Spirit that was yet to come from the west. That was over sixteen years ago, and I knew that it was from the Lord, but as you know, we walk by faith and not by sight. The spiritual decline of the last few years, not only in the churches but in the nations as well, makes it hard for me to see how and where from that final revival that I am so certain, even today, that is going to come. But you know how the Lord works, just when we seem to have forgotten something that at one time seemed very important, the Lord is always there to remind us that His timing is not our timing, and that just because it has not happened yet, that it should be no reason for us to not keep looking up in excitement for what He has promised. A couple of days ago I read a prophecy that was given by a 90 year old woman in Norway, back in 1968, to an evangelist named Emanuel Minos when he came to her town to preach. The evangelist wrote down the prophecy as she told it to him, but he thought that it was so extreme that he kept it in a drawer and forgot about it. This is how her prophecy started: I saw the time just before the coming of Jesus and the outbreak of the Third World War. Then, she mentioned four waves: This is part of what she saw in the first wave: There will be peace between the superpowers in the east and the west, and there will be a long peace. Remember that she spoke this in 1968 while the cold war was raging, and it raged on until 1989. There have been 24 years of peace between the superpowers of the east and west. This is part of what she saw in the second wave: A lukewarmness without parallel will take hold of the Christians, a falling away from true, living Christianity. Christians will not be open for penetrating preaching. They will not, like in earlier times, want to hear of sin and grace, law and gospel, repentance and restoration. There will come a substitute instead: prosperity (happiness) Christianity. Here is part of what she saw in the third wave: People will live together like married without being married...TV will be filled with such horrible violence that it teaches people to murder and destroy each other, and it will be unsafe in our streets. People will copy what they see. This is some of what she saw for the fourth wave: I will not see it, but you will. Then suddenly, Jesus will come and the Third World War breaks out. It will be a short war... All that I have seen of war before is only child’s play compared to this one. I wrote some of what she saw in her vision and some of what I saw in my dreams, to show those of you that might have experienced something like what she or I’ve experienced, that even though our perspectives differ greatly, there is a common thread that unites the flow of the revelations. In her case she saw peace in the first wave, when the first seal was opened after Jesus rose from the dead, the spirit of antichrist was released which is still very much at work today to bring forth a false peace. In my first wave I saw extremely polluted waters/doctrine sneaking behind the church. That explains why in her second wave she saw unparallel lukewarmness and a falling away from true living Christianity, for they are the results of demonic doctrines introduced to the church. But the key point that I want to emphasize is in the fourth wave, for that is when the powers of the heavens are shaken, and the Lord is revealed, and from her perspective she saw the start of World War Three. Now let me show you two different perspectives from Scripture about that same event. Revelation 6:12-17 “I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake (in the earth); and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon (remember our opening text) became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free men, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” From this perspective we see that the land of Israel has been invaded by an army of a confederacy that's lead by Gog, of the land of Magog, from the uttermost north, according to Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39. Most of the people that you see running for the bomb shelters in Revelation chapter six are about to be wiped out by the wrath of the Lamb as He returns to show Himself holy before the nations of the world, and to save the people and the nation of Israel from sure destruction. Acts 2:19-21 “I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turn into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” From Joel’s perspective, whom Peter quotes in Acts, we see that those who witness the supernatural destruction of this mighty army that has invaded Israel, will realize that the Lamb is real and that His judgments are true, and they will have an opportunity to repent before the great day of His wrath begins. One way to see the fourth wave is as that of the beginning of a war that will end the world as we know it. Another way is to see it as an opportunity for as many people as possible to call upon the name of the Lord and be delivered out of this world before the wrath of God is unleashed upon it, and its destruction made certain. I know that in my dream I did not fear the immensity of the fourth wave, for it brought with it a crystal-clear living waters for the purification of the soul, and it was made available to all those who were feeble and weak in body. Those who fear and partake of the Word of the Lord now, will not be afraid in the day when His fullness is revealed to them. If only the scoffers would repent before that day catches up to them. Revelation 22:1 “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.” Back to Deliverance Ministry

Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” There has never been a time in the history of the Christian church when so many of the signs that point to the end of times have been revealed, and when so many of the end time prophecies that precede the Lord’s return have been fulfilled. We are not only the generation that will witness the glorious return of our Lord to save us, but we are right in the end of the time that has been allotted to that final generation. The return of our Lord is imminent! It is implied in our opening text that before our Lord returns, that it would be a time of great turbulence and upheaval, for we are told that at His return He will quiet us with His love. Let us take a sober look at how the events that are taking place all around us right now fit within the prophetic scenario that is given before the return of our Lord. Zephaniah 3:1-2 “Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, to the oppressing city! She has not obeyed His voice, she has not received correction; she has not trusted in the Lord, she has not drawn near to her God.” When Zephaniah first uttered his prophetic words, they were meant as an indictment against the city of Jerusalem and the people of Judah. But it is very clear within the context of his prophecy that there is a double meaning to his prophetic vision that clearly is applicable to what the prophet calls the day of the Lord’s fierce anger, that foretells about the end of time, as we see in the opening verses of his prophetic vision. Zephaniah 1:2-3 “I will utterly consume (make a complete end of) everything from the face of the land, says the Lord; I will consume man and beast; I will consume the birds of the heavens, the fish of the sea, and the stumbling blocks (idols) along with the wicked. I will cut off man from the face of the land (ground), says the Lord.” It is clear from the sweeping judgments against man, beast, sea, ground, air, idols, and the wicked, presented in the opening of this prophecy, that God was clearly foretelling something more than what their present condition required. He was also speaking about the Day of the Lord’s wrath during the time of the latter days, our present day time. So that when He said in the previous verse: Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted about the city of Jerusalem of Zephaniah’s day, that He also had an end time entity in mind as well. It is very possible that the Lord is referring to a large portion of end time Christianity, what He calls in Revelation the Laodicea church. Revelation 3:15-17 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.” It is clear from the context that our Lord’s focus is against Christian religious organizations of the end times that seem to be standing in their own merits and traditions, rather than having a continuous need for the Lord to be their entire focus; refusing the correction of the Holy Spirit, and not fully trusting in the Lord as their redeemer, having need of nothing. When a church entity becomes organized to the point that their bylaws and traditions take precedent over the guidance and counsel of the Holy Spirit, that church entity is in rebellion to the will of God for her and by her rebellion becomes polluted; it ceases to be a house of deliverance and becomes a house of oppressing legalism. If we think of the two thousand years church history as training and preparation for an event that will surpass every other event in human history, the coming of the Mighty One, then we can see why it is so important that the church be obedient and prepared, for we do not know how events will unfold before His return, so that we need to be in tune with His Word and with the revelation that the Holy Spirit brings to get us ready to be taken up with Him in a moments notice. Zephaniah 3:4 “Her prophets are insolent, treacherous people; her priests have polluted (profaned) the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law (did not stay true to His Word).” In the book of Revelation, the difference between the Philadelphia church that gets taken up in the rapture, and the Laodicea church that gets left behind, is that the Philadelphia church kept His Word and did not deny the Lord’s name, obviously the Laodicea church had need of none of those things, for it could stand on its own religious merits. Zephaniah 3:5 “The Lord is righteous in her midst, He will do no unrighteousness, every morning He brings His justice to light; He never fails, but the unjust knows no shame.” The Lord makes it very clear that even though the Laodicea church is in disobedience, that it still belongs to Him for He is in her midst, and after all, He promised His church to never leave her nor to forsake her; so if He were to abandon her that would be wrong, and He will do no unrighteousness, even if they continuously flaunt their disobedience in spite of His daily warnings against her, but they seem to know no shame. Who are these people? It is hard for me to reconcile the Christianity that I know with some of the people that are described as Christian ministers during the end of time in many of the end time prophecies. But Zephaniah gives us some great insight that will help us identify who some of these people might be, for they will be sharing some of the same qualities that the prophets and priests of his days had. Zephaniah 1:4-5 “I will stretch out My hand against Judah, and against the inhabitants of Jerusalem (for our present day interpretation this prophecy is against the Laodicea church). I will cut every trace of Baal (the false lord, or the other Jesus that they preach) from this place, (along with) the names of the idolatrous priests (Christian ministers that practice or follow pagan traditions along) with the pagan priests—those who worship the host of heaven on the house tops (astrologers); those who worship and swear oaths by the Lord (clearly referring to Christians), but also swear by Milcom (or Molech, to whom infants were offered as sacrifices during Zephaniah’s time, our present day abortionists).” We can clearly see that in end time Christianity there will be different churches, that to different degrees, will preach another Jesus, along with a different gospel that is influenced by the spirit of paganism, and that many of them will be supporters of abortion rights. And this is what they will acknowledge by their actions, the actions that will eventually bring God’s judgment upon them: Zephaniah 1:6 “Those (these are they that) who have turned back from following the Lord, and have not sought the Lord, nor inquired of Him.” Zephaniah 1:12 “And it shall come to pass at that time that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and punish the men who are settled in complacency (lukewarmness, the Laodicea church), who say in their heart, ‘The Lord will not do good, nor will He do evil.’” If religion has a goal, it is that of pushing God out to the back so that it, religion, can become the final arbiter in any given matter. In order to do that it has to neutralize God first, to the point where God becomes a bystander, a simple observer, and therefore it falls upon religion the sacred duties of deciding what is right and what is wrong. However, this is what God says is going to happen to religion when the time for God to act finally comes: Zephaniah 1:13 “Therefore their goods shall become booty, and their houses a desolation; they shall build houses, but not inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards, but not drink their wine.” What it finally boils down to is the fact that religion cannot sustain itself in the day of God’s wrath. For the day of God’s wrath is a day when the truth is revealed, and religion is built on a myth, the myth that God is not active in man’s affairs, and that He will not involve Himself in the everyday workings of His creation. This is why the belief that Jesus is coming back soon for His church, to set up His everlasting kingdom, is laughed at by many within the Laodicea church today. But how is this for their wake-up call! Zephaniah 1:14-16 “The great day of the Lord is near; it is near and hastens quickly, the noise of the day of the Lord is bitter; there the mighty men shall cry out. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of devastation and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of trumpet and alarm against the fortified cities and against the high towers.” If I can encapsulate the flavor of what the prophet is telling us, this is how I would do it: That the day of the Lord is COMING SOON! And that the day of the Lord is REAL! And that the day of the Lord if going to be a BAD DAY! The day of the Lord is a day from which we will need to be RESCUED! The only way that a reasonable person, a person that calls himself a believer, cannot understand the clarity with which the Scriptures describes the end of times, is if such a person just decides that God does not mean what he says in His Word. In other words, they do not keep His Word, because if they do they would have to do away with all of their idolatries and man made doctrines. But as usual there is hope for those of us who put our hope in Him, and who trust on the veracity of God’s Word, and not on the corrupted religious traditions of men and demons by which so many unwilling Christians are enslave into their idolatry. Zephaniah 2:3 “Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have held up His justice (Word). Seek righteousness (not religion), seek humility (realize that we are always in need of Him and His grace). It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger.” There is a price to pay for being an ardent adherent of God’s Word, there is no doubt about that. We are ridiculed constantly for the fervency with which we believe the inerrancy of Scripture, many a times from our own quarters. We are defamed in many instances, not just by the world, but by Laodicean Christians that believe that our stance against compromise with the world is a hindrance to their version of Christianity being accepted by the world, even though we are clearly warned in Scripture against being loved by the world or us loving the things that the world stands for: 1 John 2:15 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him.” But you see, once you start denying the parts of Scripture that hinder what it is that you want to accomplish in what you yourself believe, then what is there to keep you from removing anything else from Scripture that does not conform with your relationship with the world? Here is the reason why we need to stay true to the Word of God. This is what God promises those who endure the afflictions of their ridicule and ostracizing for our staying true, in spite of their persecution and defamation, to the Word of God. Zephaniah 3:18-20 “I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly (the condition of the Laodicean church), who are among you, to whom its reproach is a burden. Behold, at that time I will deal with all who afflict you; I will save the lame (those whose ministry was hindered by their slanderous accusations), and gather those who were driven out (kicked out of their churches for exposing their compromise); I will appoint them for praise and fame in every land (place) where they were put to shame. At that time I will bring you back, even at the time I gather you; for I will give you fame and praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I return your captives before your eyes, says the Lord.” Those who compromise the Word of God today, do it to gain the praise and fame of the world, and in a twist of irony, that is exactly what God is going to give to those who refuse to compromise the Word of God today, in the world that is to come. Top of Page Top of Page THE LORD WAITS For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Isaiah 30:18 “Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you: and therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for Him.” What a beautiful revelation of God’s grace and mercy toward us, and how He, who patiently waits for us to be ready to receive His mercy and grace, blesses us when we faithfully wait for Him in return—to return. Notice first of all that God is presented here as, For the Lord is a God of justice. And secondly that He is Gracious and May have mercy on you. The Lord waits, that means that He longs for us to be ready to receive His grace and mercy, which can only be received by accepting Jesus as our Savior and Lord. For only in Jesus can the Lord of Justice freely dispense His mercy and His grace to those who do not deserve it. Hebrews 1:8 “But to the Son He says: ‘Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of (justice) righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.’” Only Jesus can dispense God’s justice—which includes His mercy and His grace—for it was with His own blood that Jesus paid in full the entirety of all human sins. That is why the Lord waits for humans to come to their senses, repent, and receive the mercy and grace that He has made available to all who believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins. Isaiah 30:15 “For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: ‘In returning (repentance) and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength.’ But you would not.” The reality is that many choose to reject the Lord’s free offer of salvation. But that does not deter God, for He waits—even to our last breath—for us to enter into His rest. But there is a very specific blessing that is attached to those, who like God who is patient, learn to be patient, and in quietness and confidence wait as the Lord waits, and in the process they end up renewing the strength of their salvation. Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” A truth that many Christians do not know, is that God has assigned a very specific blessing to those who eagerly wait for His return: Blessed are all those who wait for Him. Revelation 1:3 “Blessed is He who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” Revelation 22:20 “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I am coming quickly.’ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” What is this very specific blessing all about? I believe this to be a three-fold blessing that applies to those who eagerly await for the Lord to return and to take them home to be with Him. The first blessing assures us of the removal of all our sorrows. The second blessing guarantees that He hears us at the very sound of our cry for help. The third blessing is an anointing for learning spiritual discernment. Isaiah 30:19 “For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; you shall weep no more. He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you.” The first-fold blessing is, You shall weep no more! No more sorrows. Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; the rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; for the Lord has spoken.” The main root of sorrow is hopelessness; Jesus nailed sorrow on the cross and after He rose from the dead, He spoiled its fruit of hopelessness. Those who truly await the return of Jesus and the resurrection of the saints, have abolished all sorrows from their lives, for sorrow has to do with loss, and every thing that we’ve surrendered to Jesus, He is able to keep safe and secured until it is restored back to us. Matthew 6:20 “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.” How can a person who is not even sure that Jesus is physically coming back to this earth, to restore to us all the good things that we have lost for His sake, be without sorrow? For where there is no hope, sorrow remains. Isaiah 65:23 “They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble; for they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.” Clearly Isaiah is referring to the Kingdom Age of which all of God’s saints will be a part of. The first part of the three-fold blessing given to the descendants of the blessed, is the blessing of restoration. So that we do not sorrow like those who have no hope. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 “But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep (died), lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.” Those who eagerly await for the return of Jesus are waiting for the promised restoration as well—no loss, no sorrow! The second-fold blessing has to do with the assurance that God hears us. Isaiah 65:24 “It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.” Faith comes as the result of that which we are hoping for. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance (realization) of things hoped for, the evidence (confidence) of things not seen.” If we dare to believe that Jesus is coming soon to restore all things, and we live our lives based on that hope, then surely, we know that at any point in time—if we cry out to Him—that He will hear us. Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (faith, hope and love).” The third-fold blessing is the anointing for spiritual discernment. Isaiah 30:20 “And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction (oppression), yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall see your teachers.” If our hope is in the resurrection from the dead and the return of Jesus to implement God’s final restoration, then adversity and affliction are nothing more than teachers that God uses to train us as to the hearing of His voice. Isaiah 30:21 “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.” Who would have thought that having a firm belief about the soon return of Jesus Christ would be so beneficial to us? It is like waiting to be seated at a crowded restaurant on mother’s day, and they give you a gizmo that lights up and vibrates when your turn has come. Those of us who eagerly await for our Lord to appear have been given an array of very wonderful blessings. Philippians 3:20-21 “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” So, we wait, patiently, hopefully, and faithfully for our Lord to return. But we do so with the hope that everyday that He delays His return, we become more cheerful, more secure in the fact that He hears us, and more intuitive about our high spiritual calling. House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, Top of Page THE ANOINTING THAT HEALS Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” When I started teaching about the anointing oil, it immediately became clear to me that more lessons would be required just to touch on the basic principles of God's anointing. In this lesson we will deal with the power of the healing anointing, or a different way to look at it, the anointing that heals! Now the very first thing that I want you to notice in our opening Scripture is how Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power. This is very important, notice how it describes Jesus as having both, the anointing and the power that comes through the anointing. Now why is that important? Every believer that is saved in Jesus Christ has been anointed with the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit we were all baptized (plunged) into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink (partake) into one Spirit (anointing).” So that all believers are anointed with the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.” But not all believers walk in the power of the anointing, now why is that? There are several issues here that we can point at, but at the foundation of everyone of these failures we will find that it is because they are all lacking in the enlightenment of what the truth of the Word of God is. John 16:13 “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” The Spirit of Truth will not bear witness to falsehoods, nor to things that do not glorify the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Just like Jesus did not come to do His own thing, but only to speak that which He heard from the Father above. Since the anointing comes from God then all things must revert to God and to His Word, for that is from Whom the anointing flows. John 14:10 “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.” So that we can see an extremely clear pattern of how the workings of the anointing flows. The Holy Spirit does not bear witness to Himself but of Jesus and the work that He accomplished. Jesus does not bear witness of Himself or the work that He accomplished, but He bears witness to the God from Whom all blessings flow. So that all who are anointed by the Spirit of God, if they want the power of the Spirit of God flowing through them, must remain faithful and true to the Word of Truth that governs the outpouring of the power of the Spirit of God in our midst. And that is without the Spirit of God we are helpless, and without the name of Jesus we are powerless, and without the guidance of the Word of God we are clueless and hopelessly lost. So let us begin with this point then, what is your relationship with the Word of God? Is the Word of God your only Truth? 2 Corinthians 4:2 “But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.” Paul was dealing with how the minds of the Jews of his day were blinded every time they read the Word of God, so that the Truth of the Word that they were reading could not penetrate their hearts. And that is what happens to many today that are anointed because of their salvation in Jesus Christ, but lack the power of the Spirit of God in their lives because they are handling the Word of God deceitfully. How do I know if I am lacking the power of the Spirit of God in my life? 2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” What are the things that hinder us? What are the things that bind us? What are the things that we are lacking? If we honestly ask ourselves these questions and come up with things in our lives that truly hinder us, and find that there are issues in our lives that bind us to things that we do not want to be bound to, and realize that as Christians there are things promised to us that we are lacking, what do we do about it? 2 Corinthians 4:1 “Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have receive mercy, we do not lose heart.” The most important thing for us, is to realize that God is not against us; sin in the New Testament is defined as missing the mark, God does not want us to miss the mark. He wants us to receive all the blessings that He has already made available to us. Romans 8:32 “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Remember that the key to the anointing power is truth, the above verse is powerfully liberating truth. I have been walking by faith in the Word of God for a while now, it will be thirty seven years this coming June, do you want to know what truth really is? Here is truth, Jesus loves us. He will never leave us nor forsake us, no matter what! Even when we are lacking the power of His anointing in our lives, He is right here. He will not go away, and He will never stop trying to get us into the true knowledge of His Word, so that we can receive the power of His anointing in our lives. He wants us to succeed. He does not want to see us lacking. He does not want to see us sick. He definitely does not want to see us powerless. In my many years walking with Him I have experienced a lot more failures than victories in the natural side of the ledger, but yet somehow out of the very failures of my many weaknesses He somehow always gained the victory in my life, and all because I did not quit in the face of failure. As a matter of fact, it has been in the midst of my greatest defeats that I have always experienced His greatest anointing. 2 Corinthians 3:18 “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” One of the greatest revelations that I’ve ever received from the Lord was while I was worshipping Him in a church service. The song that we were singing was, Here I am to worship; all of a sudden the Lord revealed to me in the middle of that song, the many schemes that the enemy had employed through the years to try to destroy my faith in Jesus. Things that I knew and many that I did not know. He just simply said to me, in spite of all that the enemy has done to try to destroy you, My grace is sufficient for you, and that was all the truth that I’ve ever needed. But we also need to understand that the power of the anointing follows a process of gradual transformation, and it requires steadfastness in our part. You see the true healing anointing begins in the inside of us. So that even when we do not see any immediate results we need to remain faithful to the truth of God’s promises, for He always comes through for us, although it may be years before we realize it, if ever while in this earth, for some, if not many of God’s greatest miracles on our behalf may never be known by us until we get to heaven. I have seen God heal a dying man from cancer even after my failure to pray for him, for I was intimidated by the hopelessness of the situation, but just the fact that I showed up to pray for the man was good enough for Jesus to heal him in spite of my failure to pray for him, although the man that got healed told everybody that I had prayed for him and that was how he was healed, yet I knew better than that, for I know for certain that I never prayed for the man. But I learned a great lesson that day, for the Lord spoke to me and said that my job was just to show up and pray, and that the rest was up to Him. So that it is our job to show up and not be intimidated by how hopeless the situation may seem. We are to pray, to anoint with oil, to proclaim the Word of God to those who are infirmed or bound by the enemy. But the miracle is always left up to the Anointer, the Spirit of Truth. I’ll close with this, a Scripture that I once heard an unbeliever proclaim on TV that it was so puzzling to him that he did not understand it and could not explain it. Mark 9:23-24 “Jesus said to him, ‘if you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’ Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, ‘Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” The deaf and dumb spirit that troubled the child was rebuked by our Lord and commanded never to enter into the child again. What was the criteria for this miracle? A father needed help to get his son healed. The Lord helped him on the basis of His compassion and love. There are all kinds of things that we need to do, and there are all kinds of things that we need to learn, and there are so many Scriptures that we need to understand better, but at the root of all these things we need to know that He is a God that loves us, that He is compassionate towards us, and that He is more willing to help us in our time of need that we are to ask for His help. He will work with us to train us, He will teach us how to respect His anointing, and He will lead us into the valley of trust and leave us out there for a while if need be so that we may learn how to trust Him more. Praise ye the Lord.” Father God, I bless the entertainment, music industry and Hollywood with open ears, eyes, hearts, and minds to see, hear, receive, and believe the living Word of God because you state in Mark 4:12 KJV “12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” I pray in hope that they see and perceive, hear and understand so they would believe in Jesus the Son of the living God! And Heavenly Father, I bless the entertainment, music industry and Hollywood with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless the entertainment, music industry and Hollywood with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in the hearts of the people working in the entertainment industry, the music industry, and Hollywood to forgive and reconcile the nation back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray that the entertainment, music industry and Hollywood are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” manifests within the hearts of the entertainment industry and Hollywood. We take back the entertainment, music industry and Hollywood declaring godliness and righteousness to be portrayed through this medium; that they bring the Bible to life showing the world a true visible representation of the Bible in love. Top of Page Top of Page INTUITIVE KNOWLEDEGE IN THE AGE OF REASON Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero Published on 3/6/22 Ecclesiastes 12:11 “The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd.” The wisdom of Learned Knowledge which is what our present day understanding of the universe is based on, has been declared foolishness by God Himself. 1 Corinthians 1:20 “Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God MADE FOOLISH the wisdom of this world?” The fundamental flaw of Learned Knowledge is that it is based on the things that are visible, which always leads to a scientific dead end when trying to piece together the origin and purpose for the creation of our universe, by basing it on the things which are seen. Proverbs 16:25 “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” Now the Word of God teaches us the proper way of how to understand the why and when of the creation itself, if we just follow the basic foundational principles upon which God created everything that He made; and for that we need to look in the right place: the Word of God. 2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are TEMPORARY (changing, passing away), but the things which are not seen are ETERNAL (complete).” The creation itself reflects the nature of the Creator, in order to understand the unseen parts of the creation we need to obtain the ability to decipher the spiritual language of the Creator. Psalm 19:1-3 “The heavens DECLARE the glory of God; and the firmament SHOWS His handiwork. Day unto day UTTERS speech, and night unto night REVEALS knowledge. THERE IS NO SPEECH NOR LANGUAGE WHERE THEIR VOICE IS NOT HEARD.” The capitals in all the verses quoted added by me for emphasis. Day and night God continuously declares and shows us His glory as He utters and reveals knowledge through the creation itself. And all this vital information is made available to all who seek it, and it does not matter what our learned language is. So, what is this mysterious language that God speaks and that we can all learn from? I call it Intuitive Knowledge! 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you COMPLETELY; and may your whole SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Not everyone may know this, but we all speak three different languages. Our bodies speak the language of signs, mannerisms and gestures: known as Body Language. Today we have Body Language in which experts appear on TV shows tell us what others are saying by their expressions. Our soul is the seat of our mind and understanding, and expresses itself through what I refer to earlier as Learned Knowledge, which is the language or languages that we learned to speak as we were growing up during our lifetime . I believe that the language that our spirits speak is what I call Intuitive Knowledge. Intuition is very hard to comprehend with our natural or soul way of thinking. I used to think of it as hints or hunches that came to us by way of chance. But now I am totally convinced that Intuitive Knowledge is the language that the spirit-man was created to speak and understand. It is a language that has an alphabet and the means to conjugate and express—that is to Declare, Show, Utter and Reveal knowledge and understanding at a level we could never dream of. This is what I am going to try and teach in the next few pages, the language that our spirit-man craves for. Why should a Christian endeavor to learn the spiritual language of Intuitive Knowledge? James 1:5-8 “If any of you lacks WISDOM, let him ask of God, who GIVES TO ALL liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in FAITH, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a DOUBLE-MINDED MAN, unstable in all his ways.” Wisdom and faith are both spiritual and we have to be single minded in order to get them. To be double-minded (two souls) means that the spirit and the soul are not on the same page. So faith comes by hearing the Word of God that comes through the spirit-man and convinces the soul. Psalm 19:7 “The law of the Lord is perfect, CONVERTING the soul; the testimony of the Lord is SURE (trustworthy), making wise the SIMPLE (humble).” The soul-man looks at the structure—the creation—from the outside, while the spirit-man looks at the infrastructure—or the inner workings of the creation—from the inside. The soul-man learns through words and the spirit-man understands through numbers. And when they come together as one, we receive revelation directly from our Redeemer, as given by One Shepherd. Psalm 19:14 “Let the WORDS (Learned Knowledge) of my mouth and MEDITATION (Intuition) of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.” I believe that the Intuitive Knowledge language of the spirit-man is a mathematical language and that it has a numerical alphabet if you will. What makes this mathematical language superior to the Learned Knowledge language of the soul-man is that numbers never lose anything in the translation. It does not matter our language or traditions or customs, mathematical principles never change. God created us to communicate with Him in all three levels: spirit, soul and body. Because of the rebellion at the tower of Babel, God confused the one language that they all spoke and therefore they were divided and scattered around the post diluvium world. However, on the Day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit fell on one hundred and twenty souls and their spiritual language was restored, but their ability to understand it naturally was restricted. 1 Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are SPIRITUALLY discerned.” Without the Spirit of God we cannot be partakers of the gift of Intuitive Knowledge, but for those of us who have been born of the Spirit of God, we have received and are qualified to learn from this great blessing of having the spiritual discernment provided by Intuitive Knowledge. 1 Corinthians 2:6-7 “However, we speak WISDOM among those who are MATURE, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to NOTHING (temporary and are passing). But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the HIDDEN (intuitive) WISDOM WHICH GOD ORDAINED before the ages for our GLORY (understanding).” With all these Scriptures in mind and with the Holy Spirit’s help let us see if we can find some of the hidden wisdom which God ordained for our times. If numbers are a language—a means of communication—then they have to have a structure or a numerical alphabet of some sort. I propose that the ten digits in our hands comprise the entirety of this numerical alphabet. Written in our bodies so that we never forget them, for we have been created with ten fingers. The numbers one through nine all represent the revelation of God’s creation; for they all have value within themselves. Therefore, God uses Psalm 19 or one through nine as the place for this revelation; also, in Psalm 119 He shows us the perfection of the Hebrew alphabet, and in Psalm 139 about His perfect foreknowledge of everything that He created through the numbers 1-9. A Zero has no value by itself, so it represents everything that God created including man. If you place a Zero on the right side of any of the digits that have value, that number is magnified. If you take the number One and add a Zero to its right side it combines to make the number Ten. There are four perfect numbers that theologians have found: The number Three is defined as Divine Perfection, the number Seven as Spiritual Perfection, the number Ten as Ordinal Perfection and the number Twelve is assigned the title of Governmental Perfection. In the number Ten, the One and the Zero, we learn the law of divine order. Following mathematical principles if you put the Zero after the One you have the number Ten, which indicates increase in value. If you put the Zero in front of the One indicates a decrease in value. The first of the Ten Commandments teaches us not to put anything before the One God. As the Creator God must always be first, in order for the creatures that He created to increase. When Lucifer said that he would be like God, as in no need of God; instantly he was demoted and became the devil, which means supreme spirit of evil, and Satan, which means adversary; he became the embodiment of everything that God is not. We were created by God and for God, but we have a choice, not choosing to put God first ROBS us of our potential for His divine favor. John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to STEAL (robs us), and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may HAVE (God adds) life, and that they may have it more ABUNDANTLY (He not only adds life but He also multiplies it as well).” The Lord puts this verse and chapter in the number Ten for a double emphasis. Satan is a predator; the law of predatory behavior Divides and Takes away. God on the other hand, as Creator has the power to Add and to Multiply. To those who put God first in their lives God adds and multiplies life and life in abundance. The devil comes as a thief; he divides and takes way. So Ordinal Perfection teaches that to be blessed we have to put God first in all areas of our lives. Romans 10:9-10 “9) That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10) For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” The number Nine (verse nine) represents God’s completed work of redemption; that of Jesus dying on the cross and Him rising from the dead, the number Ten (verse ten) represents those who by confession of faith place themselves in the proper Ordinal Perfection that God created. So that to divide and to take away and addition and multiplication are a form of a numerical conjugation system that denotes the separation between one and the other. In some cases between good and evil, right and wrong, love and hate, blessings and curses. In other cases adding and or multiplying to express the hidden or spiritual meaning of the verses confirmed by the numerical values assigned to them as we have seen in some of the verses already. Now let us look at the numbers One through Nine. Deuteronomy 6:4-5 “4) Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is ONE! 5) You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” In verse five we are commanded to love God—that is, put the number One first—spirit, soul and body. All of us humans were created in God’s image. In verse four our God is One God and three persons marking the meaning of the number Three as Divine Perfection. The Four and the Five add to Nine which speaks of God’s completeness and fullness which are represented by the value in the numbers in this numerical alphabet of One through Nine. Six is the number for man. 1 John 5:7 “For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and THESE THREE ARE ONE.” NKJV Let us deal with the number One first: If God was one God and one person only there would be no creation, there would not even be the necessity for a language, for there would be no one else for God to speak with. If God was one God and two persons, He would be able to talk to Himself for the second person would be the Word, but there would still be no creation. It is only when we count the Third Person of the trinity, the Holy Spirit—that we see the Divine Perfection at work with their ability to have a relationship within themselves and with their own created creatures. We see in the creation narrative that God spoke and energy—the Word of God is energy—came out of His mouth and the Holy Spirit gave shape to that which God spoke into existence. In the numeric’s of Psalm 19 verses 1, 2 and 3, where God reveals the hidden and visible things of the creation, we see that the number One plus Two more verses = Three verses in total: to signal that, Divine Perfection is behind the Ones who created our universe and are revealing all the LAWS THAT GOVERN it, therefore the number Twelve—one and two in that order—which is the number of Governmental Perfection is putting its stamp on it as well. Psalm 19:1, 4 “1) The HEAVENS declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. 4) Their LINE (sound) has gone out through all the EARTH, and their words to the end of the WORLD...” Now, the number Four represents the physical creation and intertwines with the first perfect number, the number Three—Divine Perfection—and together Three and Four they form the metaphysical in the number Seven—Spiritual Perfection: Heaven and earth together. As God’s judgment upon the earth begins in the final days, we see this interaction between the numbers Three and the number Four. Revelation 7:1 “After these things I saw FOUR angels standing at the FOUR corners of the earth, holding the FOUR winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.” The number Four appearing Three times in the first verse of chapter Seven: Four plus Three = Seven—Spiritual Perfection ready to be poured out upon a rebellious physical world. Psalm 19:7 “The law of the Lord is (physically and spiritually) PERFECT…” Open your hand without the thumb and hold your four fingers up and you will see three empty spaces between them. The human soul sees the four fingers for they are physically visible. But our spirit-man sees perfection in the Three spaces between them, for there are Three that testify in heaven—the spiritual realm—and they are the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit. So that if we follow the instructions of Ordinal Perfection properly we see that everything is interconnected to the Word of God and to the inner workings of the creation itself. In the Hebrew alphabet the tenth Hebrew letter is the Yod and it represents a single hand with a value of ten. So that this letter Yod = Hand can also represent the double witness of the two hands together having ten fingers. This is very important because the hand represented by the Yod in the Hebrew alphabet is neither open nor close. What happens if you open your hand and include the thumb? We see five fingers. The number five represents the breath of God which can be equated with the blessings and favor of God. Following the same principle that we applied to the Four and Three, let us look into the inner workings of the numbers Five and Four. If we open up our hands with our thumbs included our spirit-man will immediately equate the five fingers with the blessings of God. The redeemed soul will see the creation—Four—overwhelmed by the mercies of a Mighty and Loving God—Five. Ephesians 4:11 “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers.” God’s five-fold ministry is represented by an opened hand; the open hand also represents Jesus’ heart toward the human race; Jesus tells the Laodicea church that He is knocking at the door of their hearts, as if it were hand to hand or heart to heart, wanting to come in and to have fellowship with them. An open hand represents a heart that it’s open to receive God’s spiritual blessings, while a close hand represents an unwilling heart. Even today we know that a raised closed hand or fist is symbolic of rebellion. Because of past failures Moses was refusing to go and deliver the Israelites from Egyptian captivity, then God asked Moses “What is that in your hand?” God had destined Moses to be a Deliverer before Moses was born, it was written in his heart. Once Moses let go of the rod that represented the failures of his past, he was released and allowed to put the past behind him, and fulfill his destiny which involved the number Ten, as in the Ten Commandments written by God Himself on stoned tablets that Moses was to deliver to Israel. Moses was also called to consecrate the priesthood as recipients of the sacrifices that Israel was required to offer. The word consecration is a two part word: the second part of the word is Mah-leh = SECRATE. In the original Hebrew first appears in Genesis 1:22 and is translated “Fill up complete” God places two Hebrew letters in front of Mah-leh: first the Yod and second Dalet: Yod means hand and Dalet means open door. Put it all together and to consecrate means to open up your hand which represents our hearts and God will fill it to overflow with mercy and grace. Christianity’s foundation are Justification, sanctification, glorification and consecration. The Five-fold ministry proclaiming the Four basic tenants of the Christian faith completes the number Nine: Justification by faith in the blood of Jesus, Sanctification by the Word of God, Glorification by the renewing work of the Holy Spirit in us and the Consecration of an open heart to God’s individual destiny for each of us. Psalm 19:9-10 “The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.” Verse Nine represents God’s completed work that will endure forever, and the number Ten represents that it was all accomplished through the gifts or blessings that flow out of Ordinal Perfection: Honey is ingested into the inward man and gold is for our outward adornment. Six is the number of man; Adam was created on the sixth day. Adam was created in the image of God who is Three Persons so we see that Three plus Three equals Six. Psalm 8:4-6 “What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that you visit him? For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put ALL THINGS under his feet.” Man is the crowning achievement of God’s creation! Meaning that man is the reason that God created our universe and the purpose for its continued existence. Although the first man, Adam failed to measure up to God’s destiny, the last Adam, Jesus did not let us down. We added three plus three to see man’s destiny in verse SIX: How God put all things under man’s feet. Following God’s flow of add and multiply let us now multiply Three times Three which equals Nine the number of completeness and the finality that takes place before we enter into the infinite realm in which God dwells, with a new heaven and the new earth added. Psalm 8:3, 9 “When I consider Your HEAVENS (our present universe), the WORK of Your FINGERS (Ordinal Perfection), the moon and the stars that You have ORDAINED…9) O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!” Psalm113:4-6 “The Lord is high above all nations, His glory above the HEAVENS (our present universe), who is like the Lord our God, who dwells on HIGH (infinity), who humbles Himself to behold the things that are in the HEAVENS and in the EARTH? (our present universe)” God dwells in Infinity Time. God created our universe and put a limit for its duration for a very specific reason; and man is the tool that God personally fashioned to bring about the purpose for the creation of the heavens and the earth. 1 John 3:8 “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. FOR THIS PURPOSE THE SON OF GOD WAS MANIFESTED, that He might DESTROY THE WORKS of the devil.” I believe that the cause or reason why God created our temporary universe was that He had to deal with the nature of evil. God is GOOD and the essence of Goodness Himself: Since only God is Good and He does not change; evil then—the antonym for good—could be portrayed as a shadow that follows God’s goodness. Before the creation of our universe evil existed only in a vacuum if you will. The only way for God to get rid of evil would be for Him to stop being good; thank God for the impossibility of God ever ceasing to be good. If one cannot get rid of evil then how does God neutralize it? By exposing evil for what it is: EXCEEDINGLY SINFUL in a contained area where God can keep evil from ever contaminating the Infinite Time in which He dwells. Romans 7:13 “Has then what is GOOD become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might APPEAR (be exposed as) SIN, was producing death in me through what is GOOD (God’s law), so that sin through the commandment might become EXCEEDINGLY SINFUL.” Notice the verse and chapter numbers: Seven is the completion of something that is temporary, and Thirteen denotes sin, death and evil. I believe that our universe was created for the express purpose of exposing evil for what it is, the exact opposite of God’s goodness. Evil without essence was like a mine hidden on a field waiting to be tripped. God created a secure place—our universe—and then created the angels first, knowing that eventually one or some of His creatures would decide that they could be good without God, not knowing that evil was the opposite of all that is good, and once a sovereign creature created in the image of God put himself before God that creature would become the embodiment of evil itself. Lucifer the creature that tripped that hidden mine became the embodiment of all that is evil: Devil means supreme spirit of evil and Satan means adversary, everything that God is not. Revelation 19:20 “The the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. THESE TWO WERE CAST ALIVE into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.” At the end of our first six thousand years of human history and before we enter into God’s millennial rest, the embodiment of evil in HUMAN FORM—the Antichrist and the False Prophet—are taken alive into the lake of fire, which is the infinite destiny of evil itself. A thousand years later the spiritual embodiment of evil itself—the Devil and Satan—will join them, to be displayed for time immemorial, as the smoke of their torment rises to warn all future and newly created beings of the consequences of their choosing—whether to be with God or not—and of the great difference between good and evil. I used to think that Eve was the victim when the serpent lured her into partaking of the forbidden fruit. For we know that Adam was not deceived, Adam loved his bride and did not want to lose her, so he chose her fate and partook with her knowingly. But when God judged the serpent God’s pronouncement was: He, the Seed of the woman, shall bruise the serpents head. The woman was not the victim, SHE WAS THE MEANS! It is true that the serpent poisoned human DNA with evil and death. But Jesus, the Seed of the woman, through His virgin birth infused eternal life into all humanity with His purifying blood, thereby exposing evil for what it truly is and eventually locking evil up for all infinity in the Lake of Fire for all to see, neutralized of its power to deceive and to never cause harm again. Also, in great amazement, we will see in the new heavens and in the new earth, prominently displayed will be the holy city, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. She will bear witness for time immemorial of the fact that God and only God is Good, and that His mercies endure forever. And that His promises are Yes and Amen! Revelation 21:1-3 “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, ‘Behold, THE TABERNACLE OF GOD IS WITH MEN, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.’” In verses One through Three we see the completion of the purpose for which God created our universe, the present heaven and earth. Revelation 21:4 “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, FOR THE FORMER THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY.” And in verse Four the creation represented by the number Four is introduced to a new reality: Four plus Four = Eight the number of new beginnings that follows after the completion of the number Seven, at the end of the thousand years reign of Christ. All this is taking place in Revelation chapter twenty-one: Seven times Three. Daniel 6:27 “He DELIVERS and RESCUES, and He works SIGNS and WONDERS in heaven and on earth, who has delivered DANIEL (the wise) from the power of the lions.” He delivers and rescues number Six the wise man, through signs and wonders. Two plus Seven equals Nine for Completion, and the Three numbers is for Divine Perfection which ADDS to the number Twelve for Governmental Perfection. Nine MULTIPLIED by the number Three equals Twenty-seven, the number of the chapter, and the number of books in the New Testament. Intuitive knowledge is infinite, it is so vast and so deep that is able to provide us from within—in the spirit-man—with the assurances that a life-time in the natural could never match in experience or scope. To know that we know with unrivaled certainty! Even though we may not understand it all in the natural, is not that what faith is? All the numbers referenced in the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, speak volumes of how God puts it all together in the final tally. But for now I want to encourage those of you who are seeking Intuitive Knowledge, that is not about the numbers per say, as much as it is acknowledging the spirit-man within us by always looking at the numerical context.
