- VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) teaches the visible realm is three dimensional and when you associate it with the invisible spiritual dimension it becomes fourfold: Thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. Top of Page VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE Colossians 1:16 “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.” Whenever the Bible talks about invisible things it is referring to the spiritual realm, in this case it is dealing with the interactions of the spiritual realm with the visible physical realm. Since the visible realm is three dimensional, when you associate it with the invisible spiritual dimension it becomes fourfold, that is why our text includes a fourfold reference to the creation: Thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. The epistle to the Colossians gives us tremendous insight into how the visible and invisible creation interacts and operates. Let us define first the difference between the physical and spiritual dimensions so that we can learn the mysteries of how the invisible world operates and learn how much it influences our physical world. Colossians 1:12 “Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light (energy).” The spiritual or invisible realm is one that is made of energy, we cannot see energy that is why it is invisible to us. The creatures that live in the spiritual realm are made of energy that is why we cannot see them either. But the fact that we cannot see them does not mean that it does not exist and they are not actively interacting with the visible realm. As a matter of fact, at the core of all physical tangible matter there is an invisible quantum reality that science is still trying to explain. From the Bible we know that the spiritual realm is an eternal one, and so science has discovered that the sub-atomic particles that give form to all physical matter transcend time and space, that is they can be in two separate places at the same time. 2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we do not look (put our focus on) at the things which are seen (visible), but at the things which are not seen (invisible). For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Now when Paul says that we have been qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light, what he is telling us is that we have been given power to manipulate that invisible energy, which is radically awesome if we can just barely grasp its implications. Colossians 1:9 “For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.” Paul is so excited about the faith of the Colossians in the Gospel of truth that was preached to them, that he is telling them that he cannot wait to see them come into the revelation knowledge of what just happened to them, through the agency of spiritual understanding. Just as he was telling the Corinthians not to put their focus on the mundane visible things, but to put their hope on the eternal invisible things that are not of this world. Can we get just as excited as Paul was about the reality that we too have received the Gospel of truth, and that we also have been qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light? We should! Colossians 1:13 “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed (transferred) us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.” This three-dimensional world has been plunged into spiritual darkness by the devil and all his minions, Jesus has delivered us from the darkness of this physical world and has placed us in the high, and out of this world kingdom of the Son of His love. John 8:23 “...You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.” What does it all mean to us, what are the advantages of being able to operate in the kingdom of the light? Matthew 16:19 “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven (spiritual invisible realm), and whatever you bind on earth (physical visible realm) will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” A key is used to unlock things that we previously had no access to, a key can also be used to lock things up that we do not want anybody to steal from us, why would Jesus give us the key if we did not have with it the access to the lock as well? Now as we look at this verse of Scripture from the scientific point of view, and know that all physical things are held together by this invisible force that holds the atomic particles together that form all that is tangible, then we can extrapolate that we have been given the power to loose that which is bound, and to bound that which is loose, whether in the invisible fourth dimension called heaven, or the physical three dimension we call earth. Colossians 1:10 “That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” Obviously, we need to know and we need to understand how it all works, that is if we want to put it to good use, for we can also read in the text of what Jesus told us, as binding on earth that which has already been bound in heaven, and loosing on earth that which has already been loosed in heaven, so that spiritual understanding is critical. All things were created through Him and for Him. Our opening text. Rule number one, follow The Word! John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” Now if we want to fully understand the meaning of how The Word created everything we need to know what The Word of God is. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living (life giving) and powerful (energy)…” The Word of God is life giving, life sustaining energy. When God said, Let there be light, He released all the energy that exists in the universe today, and it was out of that energy that all physical tangible matter was formed, including intelligent human life. John 1:4 “In Him (The Word) was life, and the life was the light of (the energy that created) man.” So that all things were created and are sustained by The Word of God including intelligent human life. At the very core of our physical being we are held together by the energy that is in The Word of God. So that whatever is loosed on the earth that the Word of God tells us should be bound, we have power in the name of Jesus, The Word of God, to bind it and vice versa. John 16:24 “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” We have access into the invisible spiritual realm in the name of Jesus. Philippians 2:9-10 “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.” Paul takes it one notch higher and tells us that in the name of Jesus we not only have the power to bind and to loose the very cords that hold everything together in the visible and invisible realms, but also over those under the earth, where the seat of demonic power resides in the belly of the underworld. That means that in the name of Jesus we have power over life and over death, as long as we follow the precepts laid out for us in His Word, to bring forth God’s reconciliation into this physical world. Colossians 1:19-20 “For it pleased the Father that in Him (Jesus) all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- THE PRIESTHOOD OF THOSE WHO ARE MINISTER | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) asks what happens when independent thinking from the Bible is turned against the church who by definition are supposed to be one body, of one mind and one purpose? Top of Page THE PRIESTHOOD OF THOSE WHO ARE MINISTERS Malachi 2:1 “And now, O priests, this commandment is for you.” In this lesson I aim to deal with this question: Who ministers to the ministers? Or from a different perspective we could ask, who keeps the ministers in line? I’ve met and dealt with many different pastors in the many years that I have been serving the Lord, and I have dealt with situations where there was clear and present differences of opinion in regards to the way a certain outreach was handled. A national ministry had rented a large auditorium in the city and asked for the local churches to help them in their outreach to the community, and our church was one of the ones that volunteered to help: it was a two night event. As I was walking toward the auditorium that Friday night I was met by a few local pastors, and I knew one of them. They were protesting this ministry’s presence in the city, and they were handing out flyers discrediting that ministry. Almost in shock I asked him what was going on, for this was a very reputable and sincere ministry that we had helped before. The protesting pastor just told me that he disagreed with some of their theology and therefore he reserved the right to protest against those that he disagreed with. I remember thinking that independence is a great thing, but what happens when it is turned against those who by definition are supposed to be one body and of one mind and purpose? The Lord has very strong words that govern those who are called to be His ministers. James 3:1-2 “My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many things…” James tells us right at front, that those who are called to teach God’s Word will be judged by a different and more stringent standard than someone who doesn’t, and then he adds that we all stumble, meaning that there is a price to pay for the privilege of serving in a ministry that proclaims the Gospel of truth. Malachi 2:2 “If you will not hear (God’s commandment for those who minister), and if you will not take it to heart, to give glory to My name, says the Lord of hosts, I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings, yes, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart.” In verse two we see that what James was talking about is taking place. A curse had fallen upon their blessings, the blessings that are in store for those who minister to the Lord. That curse had landed on them because they failed in their most basic requirement of ministry, and that is, to give glory to My name, their ministry failed to give the glory to the Lord. Does it give glory to the name of the Lord if I put my fellow minister down when he stumbles? Let’s just say that it is an honest theological disagreement that separates us, does it bring glory to the name of the Lord if I oppose him openly when he tries to minister? Here is what I see, if we all stumble in many things like James says, and we do, and it is also clear from Scripture that we know only in part, so how can I go into open opposition of my fellow minister with whom I disagree, when we are both limited in our understanding of Scripture to begin with? Malachi 2:10 “Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously with one another by profaning the covenant of the fathers? There is a difference between disagreeing and being disagreeable. If my brother believes that his ministry which is based on his understanding of Scripture, is the way that he should minister, then why should I oppose him just because his ministry is not compatible with what my understanding of Scripture is for my ministry. If the aim of my ministry is to bring glory to the name of Jesus, then I can bring more glory to the name of Jesus if I just pray for my fellow minister’s ministry in private instead of opposing his ministry in public. After all Jesus is Lord of both ministries and only in Him is all the fullness of knowledge. Malachi 2:7 “For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, and people should seek the law from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.” There are honest theological disagreements and there are misrepresentations of the truth that are pervasive in many ministries. It is my job as a minister of the Word of God, to point the believers to the knowledge of the truth so that by their knowledge of the truth they can be made free. But I do not have to tear down another man’s ministry to teach the truth, for the truth stands by itself. And if I teach the truth in love, in the hope of helping my fellow ministers to build up their churches with knowledgeable servants whose focus is on the things that they as a body agree, and thereby encourage one another to gain knowledge for the purpose of building up the church, instead of gaining knowledge for the purpose of tearing it apart, then that is a ministry that brings all the glory to the Lord. When we do that we are just doing what we are suppose to do. Malachi 2:6 “The law of truth was in his mouth, and injustice was not found on his lips. He walked with Me in peace and equity, and turned many away from iniquity.” Here is how we can bring glory to the name of the Lord, by turning people away from iniquity, and not from one another. And notice the blessings attached with such a ministry, the blessings of peace and equity that follow the walk of teaching God’s truth in love. Malachi 2:5 “My covenant was with him, one of life and peace, and I gave them to him that he might fear Me; so he feared Me and was reverent before My name.” To have a heart for ministry is to have the heart of God. When we minister the heart of God to His people, we are ministering His life and His peace into the hearts of His people. We do not have to fear the curse when we are walking in His truth; we do not have to fear man when we are proclaiming His truth in love. As long as we remain reverent before His name in the full knowledge that that is what our true ministry is: To lift Him up so that He can draw all men unto Himself, then we walk in peace knowing that we are in His covenant and under His blessings and favor. So , then who is the one who keeps the ministers in line when they get out of line? Malachi 2:8-9 “But you have departed from the way; you have caused many to stumble at the law. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the Lord of Hosts. Therefore I also have made you contemptible and base before all the people, because you have not kept My ways but have shown partiality in the law.” It is the Lord’s church, and it is in His ministry that we are all servants. He is the head of the church and when His servants deviate from the truth of their calling, not taking the commandments of the Lord for their ministry to heart, then the Lord’s curse against them goes into effect and their ministry becomes void of the anointing, and there is nothing worse than a preacher without the anointing, that is pretty much what the definition of contemptible is. If there is spiritual life left in that ministry, God will move in the hearts of the people to pray for their minister who has gone straight; if there is spiritual life left in that minister, he will repent and will be restored. If there is no spiritual life left in that ministry then they will both be gone, but if there is spiritual life left in that ministry and they pray for their minister who has gone straight and he does not repent, then the Lord will remove him and replace him with someone new. Malachi 3:7 “Yet from the days of your fathers you have gone away from My ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you…” But the key here is swift repentance, as soon as the anointing begins to falter, like the oil running low in an oil lamp, that is the time for prayers of intercession to be offered up immediately on behalf of that ministry and for those who are the ministers, do not wait until the lamp goes out. Malachi 3:16 “Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listen and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name.” It is hard saying this, but sometimes the people get the type of ministers that they deserve. But once the fear of the Lord enters into the heart of the congregation and they realize how much is at stake, if they pray, God will hear them if they meditate in giving glory to the Lord’s name. Malachi 3:18 “Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.” Once the focus is put in the proper place, that is to bring all the glory to the Lord’s name, whether you are a minister or a congregant, immediately the spiritual eyes of that ministry are opened and the ability to discern between the good and the bad is restored. And then that ministry or minister once again begins to flow with God’s precious anointing and they all become one in the unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace. Psalm 133:1-3 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forevermore.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- SPIRITUALITY VERSES CARNALITY | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 1 Corinthians 3:1 “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.” Top of Page SPIRITUALITY VERSUS CARNALITY 1 Corinthians 3:1 “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.” A spiritual Christian is a mature Christian, and a carnal Christian is one who does not have a clue as to what spirituality is really all about. It is odd that in some church settings, spiritual Christians are frowned upon as being way out there, out of the main stream, they are almost ashamed to acknowledge them, while their carnal counterparts or more worldly minded Christians are held with high regard for being more in touch with the reality of life, in their more balanced relationship with the world system. Let’s face it, spiritual truths are always at odds with the physical realities. I see programs on TV all the time trying to explain biblical events, not just secular programs, some Christian shows as well, that try to make carnal sense of events that can only be interpreted through the eyes of faith in the word of God. Paul’s complaint to the Corinthians is that he cannot address them with the meat of spiritual truth because they are like infants holding on to their baby bottles. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like to know the mechanics of how things work more than anybody else, but I am humbled enough to know that while I am in this body of flesh, I am limited in my ability to fully understand spiritual mysteries. If I do not fully understand something, I am comfortable enough in my belief that it happened the way that God said it happened, and my faith does not require any further explanation. 1 Corinthians 3:2-3 “I fed you with milk and not solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal…” Paul, while under his apostolic ministry and anointing, was privy to the revelation of the mysteries that had been hidden from the sages of old and was extremely eager to share those revelations that he had received with all his converts. But imagine his frustration with the inability of many of his converts to receive the revelation of those spiritual mysteries that he treasured. 2 Peter 3:15-16 “And consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable (carnal) people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.” Peter himself acknowledges the gift that God had invested in the apostle Paul, and recognizes the fact that it takes spiritual maturity to receive the understanding of many of the mysteries that Paul was revealing in his teachings to the churches. How does a carnal babe in Christ become a spiritually mature servant? 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” The majority of Paul’s converts got saved by the demonstration of God’s Spirit and power moving in their midst as Paul preached to them, so that it was the supernatural manifestation of God’s power among them that confirmed the truth of what Paul was preaching to them, not human logic. Now Paul is teaching them that in order for them to become spiritual they have to follow the same pattern, spirituality does not come through persuasive words of human wisdom, but rather through the manifestation of God’s Spirit and power, that in many instances defy human logic. 1 Corinthians 2:6-7 “However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in an mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory.” The wisdom that makes us spiritual is like an encoded mystery that was deposited into our newly recreated born-again spirit-man when we got saved, which only the Holy Spirit can reveal or decode in those who through the agency of faith and trust in the word of God, will be able to receive and understand. 1 Corinthians 2:10-11 “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the sprit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except (unless) the Spirit of God (reveals them to us).” The spiritual mystery or quality that enables a believer to become spiritual or mature, has already been deposited into our recreated spirit-man, but the revelation or unlocking of those mysteries are left to the Spirit of God who searches the human spirit that dwells within our heart, to see if spiritual fruit it's been produced by our spirit. 1 Corinthians 3:3 “For you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you (works of the flesh), are you not carnal and behaving like mere (natural instead of spiritual) men?” I am responsible before God for the kind of fruit that my spirit produces: Love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, meekness, faithfulness and self-control are all spiritual fruit, the more of that kind of fruit that my spirit produces, the greater the revelation of God’s wisdom that I will receive as it is unveiled through my heart by the Spirit of God. Envy, strife, divisions, selfish ambitions, and the like, are all spiritual manifestations of the works of the flesh, the carnality that will hinder my heart from receiving the revelation that will allow me to become a mature, and victorious spiritual Christian. So that I have a choice to make each and every day between peace and distress, love and hate, forgiveness and resentment. Am I going to be at peace in the face of distress? Am I going to love those who hate me? Am I going to forgive those whom I resent? If I follow my natural inclinations that compel me to demand an eye for an eye, then the spiritual revelation that makes me wise in Christ is withheld from me, for my actions prevent the Holy Spirit from revealing them to me as He desires. But if I summit myself to the words that our Lord taught us, His spiritual words that are my life, even when it absolutely makes no sense to me to do what He says, then the Holy Spirit is not hindered, and though I may not be ready to receive the understanding as to why I need to do what the Scriptures require, nevertheless, His healing balm will be applied to my soul and I will walk in His peace no matter what! John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” There is a disconnect for many Christians between doing the right thing and doing the spiritual thing. Understanding the difference between doing that which is right and doing that which is spiritual can be an important factor that will help to lead us into maturity. That is because our natural understanding of what the right thing to do is, has been tainted by our worldly perception. We sometimes confuse human goodness with God inspired spirituality. So that when we think we are doing the right thing that should make us more spiritual, instead we are being carnal and do not even know it. Therein lies a trap that has diverted many well intended Christians from what had been a promising road to maturity, into the folly that Paul calls the wisdom of this age, by comparing or trying to understand spiritual things through the prism of human wisdom. 1 Corinthians 2:13-14 “These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural (carnal) man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” The more spiritual that a believer becomes, the more at odds that he will be with the wisdom of this world, and the difference between what the spiritual thing to do is, verses that which is the right thing to do, will become more obvious to the believer that matures spiritually. A spiritually mature man will never be bound by the spirit of religion. 1 Corinthians 3:4 “For when one says, ‘I am of Paul,’ and another, ‘I am of Apollos,’ are you not carnal?” When Rahab the prostitute was faced with the choice of doing the right thing and not lie to the soldiers that asked about the whereabouts of the spies that visited her, she chose to do the spiritual thing instead, and protected those who belonged to God by misleading the soldiers away from them. By her actions she did not only save their lives, but she also saved her own life and the lives of her family and became part of Jesus ancestry. To become a spiritually mature Christian is the same as that of being a slave that has been made free. 1 Corinthians 2:15 “But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.” After all it is for freedom's sake that Christ has made us free! - THE YEAR OF MY REDEEMED | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) teaches that the children of faith see Jesus and His soon return as our redemption drawing near, but the world’s concept of His return to the earth evokes fear and judgment, for they see Him as a vengeful God. Top of Page THE YEAR OF MY REDEEMED Isaiah 63:4 “For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.” Only in the Bible do we find this concept of vengeance and redemption so closely tied together, and to those who are worldly, this duality is very difficult to comprehend. While we, the children of faith, see Jesus and His soon return as our redemption drawing near, the world's concept of His return to the earth evokes fear and judgment, for they see Him as a vengeful God. To understand this duality, we need to understand the concept of justice. Psalm 96:13 “For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with His truth.” If you read the entire chapter, you will notice that there is a lot of singing and blessings and praise and offerings and worship, offered to the Lord throughout the entire Psalm 96, before it reaches the last verse which we just quoted, in regards to the judgment of the world. If you have been victimized by someone, when the legal authorities show up to intervene, you are happy, for the authorities come to assist those who have been victimize and to arrest those who were doing the victimizing. However, if you are the law breaker and are the one who is victimizing others, when you see the police show up, you just want to get away as soon as possible, for if they arrest you, you will have to go before the magistrate that will sentence you with the punishment that your crime deserves. So it is that the return of our Lord will always be awaited and celebrated by those who are the oppressed, and it is dreaded by those who are the oppressors. Psalm 97:2 “Clouds and darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.” Simply put, the Lord will judge the peoples with His truth. But the truth is that we are all sinners, and we all fall short of the grace of God. Psalm 14:1 “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.” So then why were all those folks in Psalm 96 rejoicing so much about the return of the Lord to judge all the peoples with His truth? Psalm 96:2 “Sing to the Lord, bless His name; proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.” Those who greatly rejoice about the return of our Lord to the earth, do so, because they have heard and accepted the good news of His salvation. For they know that when He returns, He is coming to deliver those who called upon His name and who have accepted God’s free offer of salvation. Psalm 97:10 “You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.” The good news is this: God loves us even though we fall short of His grace, He demonstrated His love for us by sending Jesus to die for all our sins. His unconditional love for us compels us to receive His offer of forgiveness and to love Him and trust Him in return. So that when we hear about His soon return, we dot not fret, but rather rejoice in the fact that He is coming to deliver us from this world of sin, and from the hand of the wicked one that continuously oppress us. But to those who have rejected His good news, and have chosen the pleasures of sin for a season, His return can only mean one thing, swift and complete judgment is at hand. Isaiah 63:3 “I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, and trampled them in My fury; their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I have stained all My robes.” The day of His vengeance and the year of His redeemed have to do with those who are His enemies and with those who are His saints. For He has caused His good news to travel all around the world, He has anointed His Word and revealed His love for us. Those who love Him and hate evil, He will come for and deliver them out of this world. Those who have resisted and rejected the anointed good news, will be judged as enemies who deserve to be destroyed. Isaiah 63:10 “But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; so He turned Himself against them as an enemy, and He fought against them.” This may very well be the year of His redeemed, are you ready? Here is a checklist of things that may help us identify whether we are ready for His return if it were to happen this year. Are you inwardly being restrained in your faith and the profession of it? Are you afraid or ashamed to openly declare your faith in Jesus? Matthew 10:32-33 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” You be surprised to know how many people struggle with publicly professing their faith in Jesus, normally in the maturity process we eventually grow bold and overcome those fears. But if this is the year of His redeemed, you may not have that luxury. So, you better begin to make up your mind right now to declare His name openly and without fear. For as His return nears, we have no time for timidity, since we are commanded in: Psalm 96:2 “...Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.” Today, right now, would be a good time to start proclaiming His good news from day to day. Do you acknowledge Him as the Creator of heaven and earth? Do you acknowledge Him as your heavenly Father, and Jesus His only begotten Son as your redeemer? The world’s aim is to bring doubt into our hearts and minds. The so-called knowledge of the sciences is the vehicle that the devil uses to enter into our minds with his load of doubts. We need to know what the Word of God teaches about the sciences. Colossian 2:8-10 “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” Science teaches about the things that exist from the point of view of man’s limited understanding. We on the other hand, know the Creator, we believe in the creative power of His uncompromising Word. Do you call on His holy name? Did you know that salvation cannot be attained under any name or anything that is named, except in the name of Jesus? Acts 4:12 “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” It is all about Jesus my friends, and if this turns out to be the year when He returns to redeem His saints, let us, we the saints, never cease to profess, to acknowledge, and to proclaim His wonderful name boldly! Psalm 107:2 “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- FRAGMENTED SOULS | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Fragmented Souls. Psalm 23:3 “He restores my soul…” Top of Page FRAGMENTED SOULS Psalm 23:3 “He restores my soul…” What is the soul and where does it reside within me? Does my soul need restoration? What is a fragmented soul? Psalm 86:11 “Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite (give me an undivided heart, singleness of heart) my heart to fear Your name." Within the Biblical context, the heart is the symbolic dwelling place for the spirit within us. And since our souls and our spirits are both spirits, they both dwell within us in a place called the heart, not our physical hearts. The physical human heart is strategically placed within our chest cavity, the torso, and from there it disseminates the oxygen rich life-giving substance that is in our blood. Our spiritual hearts are also located in a cavity somewhere within our torsos; however, it is an invisible place that is strategically located within us and from it flows the spiritual life and well being that comprises our persona, with its attitudes, intents, wills, and emotions. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Just like our human bodies can live and function without limbs, it appears, by the usage of the word whole by Paul, that our spirits and souls can exist and function as well while fragmented and weakened. Just like a human body can only achieve its full potential when all of its parts are present and functioning properly, it appears that it is the same way for our spirits and souls. They can only achieve their full potential when they are whole. However, unlike our human bodies that may be missing a limb or a physical part that they have to do without, it seems like our souls do not lose a part, but rather, their parts become separated or fragmented from one another. Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted (fragmented hearts, to heal means to restore to its original settings) , to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” A brokenhearted condition, fragmented soul, causes those who are afflicted by it to be hindered in their walk. T hey become captives to their condition, blinded and unable to see clearly where their malady originates from, and therefore become oppressed by their circumstances. The good news of the Gospel is that fragmented souls can be healed! 1 Peter 1:9 “Receiving the end (goal) of your faith—the salvation (deliverance, healing, restoration) of your souls.” Not only can our fragmented souls be healed, but our goal should also be in life to attain singleness of heart. So that we can fully comprehend what is the fear or respect for our Lord’s name, which is the beginning of wisdom. How do we do it? Let me first deal with the difference between our soul and our spirit, although our emphasis in this lesson is the fragmented soul, it is important for us to know how the two interact. Unlike a fragmented soul, where its integrity is breached and its parts become segregated, I believe that the spirit operates more in the sense of an energy flow. A spirit with a very low flow of energy cannot energize the human soul to the point of being able to restore it. A spirit that has a very strong energy flow makes it a lot easier for a fragmented soul to be restored. The word for spirit, as in your whole spirit is the Greek word Pneuma from where we get the term pneumatic tool from. Pneuma means spirit, a blast or a current of air that drives something. The word for soul, as in your whole spirit, soul is the Greek word translated as Psychic, from where we get the word, psychology, the study of the human personality or mind. It means spirit as well, air/spirit that is static and waiting to be moved by a current or inflow. A rudimental way of saying it, our souls are like an invisible motor that runs on blasts or currents of air/spirit. When a person is influenced or inspired by something, that person is receiving an inflow that is moving the soul, an invisible inspiration or spiritual infusion. A soul becomes fragmented when it realizes that it has been motivated by a lie. A lie is a spiritual force that drives people away from the truth. John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Jesus told us that the words that He speaks to us are spirit and that they are life, and that by believing them, His words, our souls can be made free from the power of the lies that fragmented the soul to begin with. John 6:63 “It is the Spirit (Pneuma) who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” In order to heal the fragmented soul our spirits have to be born again. Born of the Spirit of truth, for it is the truth of the Word of God that is able to infuse into our spirits the level of energy required to then motivate the soul to let go of the lies that divide it. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living (Zoe in Greek, and it means life giving and life sustaining, like spiritual blood) and powerful (Energea in Greek, and it means energy), and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” So that it is the truth of the Word of God that energizes the born- again spirit, which in turn motivates the soul to seek deliverance from oppression and bondage. It happens as soon as the soul’s spiritual eyes are opened to the truth that it has been fragmented by the lies it was told. Everything in this world system is based on a lie. Romans 1:24-25 “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts (fragmented their souls), to dishonor their bodies (caused their bodies to malfunction) among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Our bodies malfunction as the result of our souls becoming fragmented, and our souls become fragmented when we reject the truth of the Word of God and end up falling for the lie. The fragmented soul can only be healed and restored as the result of an individual rejecting the lie that it believed, and embracing the truth of the Word of God, which is what spiritual discernment is all about, seeing our true condition in the mirror of His revealed Word to us. Our children as well as the rest of us face constant indoctrination attempts from the purveyors of the lie. In schools as well as through television programs we are constantly bombarded with the notion of evolution. You hear them say frequently that millions of years ago this happened and that took place, like they were there you know. These are the same people that can not even get the recent historical events right. I can disprove the theory of evolution very easy, if as they often say that we humans are the parasites that have infested this world, then why are they still here if they really believe that? In their pious pomp would they not have castrated themselves and saved the world for the sake of the animals that they worship? They don’t really believe that. They just want us to believe it so that they can feel superior. Galatians 5:12 “As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!” NIV Once our spiritual eyes are opened to their mischievousness, for they do not really want to liberate people with knowledge of the truth, but rather their aim is to imprison people with their lies; then we are free to receive the liberating truth of God’s Word that make us wise. On a personal level, we have to deal with the lies that have been perpetrated against us by the people that we knew and who were responsible for our upbringing. With the grace of God to aid us, we need to realize that many of the lies that we were subjected to as we were growing up, were non-intentional on the part of those who taught us to follow the ways of this world. For the most part they did not know what they were doing to us. They were just teaching us what they had been taught in many instances. We need to forgive in order to receive the knowledge that leads to our deliverance from the institutionalized lies of this world system. Why is it necessary to rid ourselves of man-made traditions that seem harmless even to some of us today? Anything that aided the fragmenting of the soul will keep the person whose soul was fragmented from receiving the goal of their faith, the deliverance of their souls. Psalm 24:3-5 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure (undivided) heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.” The word sworn literally means to affirm oneself. Within the context, sworn deceitfully, it simply means to continue practicing and believing something that is not truth. Those who continue to practice the lies that this world system espouses will not receive blessings from the Lord. The spiritual blessings that empower us to walk in the righteousness of the salvation that He has granted to us by His mercy and grace. To make our souls whole again we must rely totally on the promises offered to us by God Himself within His Word. When our souls can truly and confidently declare what our last verses of Scripture for this lesson say, then you will know that your soul has been healed to the max. Psalm 26:4-5 “I have not sat with idolatrous mortals, nor will I go in with hypocrites. I have hated the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

- INTERCESSION | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) asks what are the mysteries of intercession and why is it that it is so very much required? Top of Page INTERCESSION Hebrews 7:25 “Therefore He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Intercession is not only needed, but is very much required for the proper function of everyday life as we know it. If it were not, then Jesus would not have to live always making intercession for us. What are the mysteries of intercession and why is it that it is so very much required? In this lesson we are going to try to unravel some of the mysteries related to intercession, in the hope that we can get some insight into this ministry that is so vital to our everyday lives, in the hope that it would encourage us to intercede on a daily basis. Matthew 6:9-10 “In this manner, therefore, pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’” To understand intercession is to understand why the will of God is not being done on the earth as it is in heaven; we need to know that the authority to rule over the earthly realm was given to Adam, to man and his descendants, Satan usurped that authority from man through deception and introduced chaos into the earthly realm. Since that time there has always been a battle between good and evil here on the earth. Jesus came and destroyed Satan’s power to inflict chaos upon the earth and returned earthly authority back into the hands of godly man. Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Intercession is asking God to do His good will here on the earth on behalf, and for the good of all mankind. Since the authority has been returned back to us, when we see chaos ruling, it is because someone is failing to ask God to intervene in that situation. We may ask, why doesn’t God remove the chaos and bring to us His peace? Since God gave authority to man to rule over the earthly realm, God will not interfere into the affairs of man uninvited. That is what intercession is pure and simple, recognizing that we fail due to our fallen nature, to bring the goodness of God by ourselves into the earthly realm. We need His help! Luke 18:1 “Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart.” In the parable that followed Jesus spoke about a widow that was not strong enough to take on her adversary by herself. The widow in the parable typifies mankind in our fallen human nature. The judge in the parable did not care about her need for justice, but due to her importunity, a type for consistency in prayer, the judge granted the widow her request. Then Jesus adds: Luke 18:7 “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? Men are always to pray and not lose heart: This brings us to the first aspect of intercession. Intercession is a Battle: A spiritual battle that requires a battle plan. Once we understand that God will not intervene in human affairs unless we ask Him to, and we know that it is His will, not ours, that He wants to bring into the mix, then we need to know what His will is in regards to the situation that we are asking His intervention for, so that we can pray in accordance with His will for that situation. If we do not, then the chaos will continue, for He aims for His will to be done not ours. Battle on behalf of mankind: God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 Our daily intercession should follow, as in regards to our prayers on behalf of mankind, first the family and the family structure. 1 Timothy 5:8 “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” These are pretty strong words that Paul speaks, that is because God is after the family structure; the family that prays together not only stays together but has a powerful influence in all that surrounds them. Is called the power of agreement as in a married couple interceding together on behalf of their entire families that became connected to one another through them entering into holy matrimony. That is why the institution of marriage is under such a heavy attack right now from those who want to redefine it. Their demonic aim is to corrupt the power of this marital institution to intercede together on behalf of both families by introducing dividing controversies into the family unit, thereby their power of intercession is neutralized. So that intercession should be made first on behalf of the household and beginning with the head of the household. Daily intercession should be made on behalf of parents, grand parents, children, grandchildren , great grandchildren , our siblings, their siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and for the families that they are interconnected with as well. God will use your prayer for some distant family member that you do not even know to save them from hell; remember that God is not willing that any of them should perish and be lost forever, but He will not act on their behalf by imposing His own will upon them unless someone prays for their salvation, which is God’s will for them. Many years ago, one of my nephews found himself, after going forward on an altar call, in front of an evangelist that told him that the reason he had answered the call was because his uncle was praying for him. This blew his mind for he knew that I was the only saved uncle that he had, he called us to ask, and we told him, yes we pray daily for our nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles and cousins. This was a confirmation to us way back then, that God always hears our prayers. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Secondly, we need to pray for the men and women that are part of the governmental structures that rule society, both secular and religious institutions. So that we need to pray on a daily basis for the churches and the elders of the churches, for the schools, the principles, the teachers, those who prepare the curriculum that the teachers teach, we are not to leave any of that to the will of the enemy. The fruit of the womb is His reward, let our children be invested with the knowledge of the truth, after all they belong to the God of Truth. Let us pray for the lawmakers and those who are in charge of executing the laws that the legislators pass. Let us pray for the judges that rule on what laws are just and which are not. Our prayer on their behalf should be based on what is God’s best for those over whom they rule. If the rules that they pass and enforce go against what is God’s best for the people they have rule over, then our intercession for them will be for God’s conviction of what is right and wrong to be revealed to them. If God opens their eyes to see the evil that their ruling is bringing upon the people, then hopefully they will repent and do the right thing on behalf of those over whom they have the power to rule. 3 John 2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” Thirdly we need so seek our own personal time of intimacy with Jesus. True intercession is born out of a heart that has an intimate relationship with the heart of Jesus. When His heart becomes one with our heart, our intercession for those things which touch His heart will be the more powerful; when our desire becomes one with His desire, there is a powerful and unstoppable force that is released as we become one with Him in His will for us. Ephesians 4:3 “Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Fourthly there is a place in the heavenly realm where those whose hearts have touched Jesus’ heart meet. This is a real place, more real than any reality that we’ve ever experienced here on earth. You will find people there whose prayer originates from many distant lands, somehow they form a spiritual connection and come together in the bond of peace, while in their efforts to ascend into the hill of the Lord and touch the heart of God. They begin their journey with a simple desire for interceding on behalf of what is in the heart of Jesus at that time. Somehow they all interconnect, they arrived into what is called the unity of the Spirit, when suddenly the Holy Spirit takes them to the base of what is called the hill of the Lord. Once there, they are able to commune one with another in complete trust, being aware of the other intercessors humanity and purpose. You can hear their thoughts and communicate your feelings to them through the same process. To reach the top of the hill of the Lord is the goal, so they press tightly together with one another in order to attain the purpose for which their Lord brought them there. Not all make it to the top at first, for it is a process. And it is that process the reason why I am sharing this aspect of intercession with you right now. Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.” This Psalm is a Messianic Psalm, meaning that it applies to Jesus, since Jesus is the only perfect human who could fulfilled the requirements stated in the Psalm. But when the intercessors heart becomes one with Jesus’ heart, a pure heart, that is when the intercessor is brought into the base of the hill of the Lord and ascend into the desires of God’s heart. In order for this pureness of heart to take effect, there has to be a cleanness of hands. Idolatries are the issue here, idolatry is the worship of a substitute god, usually the worship of self, or selfish ambitions, all of which defiles the human heart. We can pray the will of God and be in an idolatrous condition, but we can never pray the heart of God in such an idolatrous state, for idolatry is what keeps us from knowing His heart. Hence the ultimate goal of an intercessor should be to rid themselves of all traces of idolatry within their hearts in order to attained the heart of God. You have to begin with the truth, by being true to yourself, truth is the only thing that can make you free. The word sworn, as in sworn deceitfully, literally means to seven oneself, so that it has to do with a custom or ritual, some practice that takes place on regular intervals, a custom that is based on the perversion of the truth, that in reality is idolatry. Such traditional practices will be the hardest of all things to get rid of in your Christian life, because such practices are deeply embedded into modern day Christian liturgy. Truth leads us into the will of God, which in turn leads us into the truth of the purpose of God, which in turn takes us into the very heart of God. John 12:32 “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” If the goal of intercession is to bring to the earth what is God’s will in heaven, so that God’s purpose for the inhabitants of the earth can be accomplished, and if the best way to accomplish that ministry is to have the very heart of God within our hearts, is it not then necessary that Jesus be lifted up from the earth? You see, if we are proclaiming Jesus’ heart to the world, how can we do so effectively if we ourselves are soiled with the very earthly customs that profane His holy name, since we still have regard for those customs and patronized them? The devil is no match for the name of Jesus, all a believer has to do is to proclaim that precious name of Jesus, and no matter what his circumstances are, Jesus will answer him. But if we are swearing deceitfully by profaning the name that is above every name, by equating His holy name with some ancient pagan festival festering with idolatry, then the devil will not fear those who profane Jesus’ holy name, for by doing so they have placed themselves into the bottom of the heap of rubbish that hell itself is built on. John 12:26 “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? The true servants that follow Jesus, for those who follow Jesus are with Jesus where He is, and Jesus is on the top of the hill of the Lord. What a privilege it is to make intercession on behalf of the saints in the very presence of His Majesty on High. More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 1 Samuel 15:1-9 NKJV 15 Samuel also said to Saul, “The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Top of Page Top of Page OBEYING GOD AND CONSEQUENCES Written by Lisa Kane 3/18/2021 1 Samuel 15:1- 9 NKJV 15 Samuel also said to Saul, “The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Now therefore, heed the voice of the words of the Lord. 2 Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, how he ambushed him on the way when he came up from Egypt. 3 Now go and attack[a ] Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’ ” 4 So Saul gathered the people together and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand foot soldiers and ten thousand men of Judah. 5 And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and lay in wait in the valley. 6 Then Saul said to the Kenites, “Go, depart, get down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them. For you showed kindness to all the children of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites. 7 And Saul attacked the Amalekites, from Havilah all the way to Shur, which is east of Egypt. 8 He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. 9 But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed. In the above scriptures, you can see that Saul and the people decided on their own to pick and choose what they would save vs destroying. God has a reason for destroying this race. They’re descendants from the giants and God cursed them before the flood. He was using Israel to fully destroy them completing His word against the giants. Another words, this was a race that had mixed blood between spirit realm and humanity. This is what the giants did when the watchers mated by taking humans wives for themselves. Genesis 6:1-2 NKJV 6 Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. Isaiah 1:18 NKJV 18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. We may not always understand why God has certain commandments in place, but we need to obey them. We can go to Him and ask Him for understanding but the end act still results in obedience, otherwise there are consequences and having God reject you is an awful consequence you do not want to experience. 1 Samuel 15:10-23 NKJV 10 Now the word of the Lord came to Samuel, saying, 11 “I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.” And it grieved Samuel, and he cried out to the Lord all night. 12 So when Samuel rose early in the morning to meet Saul, it was told Samuel, saying, “Saul went to Carmel, and indeed, he set up a monument for himself; and he has gone on around, passed by, and gone down to Gilgal.” 13 Then Samuel went to Saul, and Saul said to him, “Blessed are you of the Lord! I have performed the commandment of the Lord.” 14 But Samuel said, “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?” 15 And Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen, to sacrifice to the Lord your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.” 16 Then Samuel said to Saul, “Be quiet! And I will tell you what the Lord said to me last night.” And he said to him, “Speak on.” 17 So Samuel said, “When you were little in your own eyes, were you not head of the tribes of Israel? And did not the Lord anoint you king over Israel? 18 Now the Lord sent you on a mission, and said, ‘Go, and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are [b ]consumed.’ 19 Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord? Why did you swoop down on the [c ]spoil, and do evil in the sight of the Lord?” 20 And Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and gone on the mission on which the Lord sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. 21 But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal.” 22 So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of [d ]witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” Notice two things going on here. The king blamed the disobedience on the people in essence lying to God about obeying His commandments. Second, he kept twisting his response to say that yes, he did obey God’s commandments ‘for the most part’. (That part is implied but God knows the truth.) Question, do you think Saul was aware of what he was doing? I’m pretty certain he was and when dealing with other people in a situation like this, you usually can talk your way out of the disobedience, but Saul learned quickly he couldn’t talk his way out of this one with Samuel. Then Saul tried another approach. 1 Samuel 15:24-29 NKJV 24 Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice. 25 Now therefore, please pardon my sin, and return with me, that I may worship the Lord.” 26 But Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you, for you have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you from being kin g over Israel.” 27 And as Samuel turned around to go away, Saul seized the edge of his robe, and it tore. 28 So Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you. 29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent.” Saul tried repenting with a lie. By still blaming the people in saying he obeyed their voice vs God’s voice, he said he was sorry but in reality, he still blamed the people and didn’t take responsibility for his sin. Samuel still didn’t fall for the false repentance. Look what happened. God removed Saul from being king over Israel and because Saul realized that it was too late and tried to physically man handled Samuel into accepting his repentance, and ending up tearing his robe, Samuel proclaimed the kingdom will be torn from him. 1 Samuel 15:23 NKJV 23 For rebellion is as the sin of [d ]witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” Because Saul rejected the word of God, God rejected him from being king. Every time you reject God, He rejects you. And some of the things you reject have permanent consequences, such as Saul no longer being king. There are consequences but it’s not too late. Humble yourself and repent. Return to God and heed His Word. Exodus 15:26 NKJV 26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.” Romans 10:9-10 NKJV 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. To repent, confess with your mouth and be sincere. Don’t be like Saul. Say this out loud: Dear Jesus, forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and be my Lord and savior. I’m sorry that I’ve disobeyed Your Word but I choose to no longer do that. In Jesus’ Name, Amen! Now seek God’s Word and find out what His commandments are so you can walk in obedience. Note, you’re still responsible in ignorance. And don’t depend on people or non-biblical sources to tell you what God’s commandments are. Find out direct from the source – The Bible. And once you find out, obey them. Once you place God’s commandments first in the center of your life, everything lines up. Blessings come your way and God says He knows you. Does God know who you are? If He knows you, you’re protected. Psalm 91:1-16 NKJV He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3 Surely He shall de liver you from the snare of the [a ]fowler And from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and [b ]buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall [c ]bear you up, Lest you [d ]dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. 14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will [e ]set him on high, because he has known My name. 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With [f ]long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.” More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
