THE NAME OF JESUS

Minister Lisa Kane

14 Oktober 2023

In “The Name of Jesus,” Minister Lisa Kane emphasizes the supreme authority and divine power contained in the name of Jesus. Rooted in Philippians 2:10–11, the teaching explains that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess Jesus Christ as Lord, highlighting the believer’s call to demonstrate this authority.

The message breaks down how praying, speaking, and living in Jesus’ name establishes victory across three realms—heavenly, earthly, and beneath the earth. Believers are reminded that effective prayer requires using the name of Jesus specifically, rather than generic references to “the Lord,” which can leave room for deception.

Lisa underscores that abiding in Christ, guarding His commandments, and maintaining a daily relationship with God are conditions for answered prayer. The lesson connects John 14 and 15 to the practice of asking “in His name,” revealing that Jesus Himself intercedes with the Father and releases the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to dwell with believers.

Practical applications are given: binding and loosing in Jesus’ name, overcoming demonic strongholds, praying with persistence, and interceding for others with confidence. Real-life testimonies show how others recognize the spiritual authority operating in a believer’s life.

Ultimately, the message calls Christians to live as effective witnesses—abiding in the Word, speaking with power, and demonstrating the love of God—so that the world may see and experience the reality of Jesus Christ, the anointed Son of God.

Objective:

To teach believers the power, authority, and responsibility given through the name of Jesus Christ, showing how prayer, confession, and abiding in Him bring victory over spiritual battles in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.

Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this on Saturday, October 14th, 2023. Welcome. This message is called the name of Jesus. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your blessings and your favor and your anointing on us. And Lord, we glorify you. We honor you and worship you. And Lord, whatever we ask, we know that you will give it to us in the name of Jesus. So teach us how to pray in the name of Jesus. Teach us how to hear and know what to ask for in the name of Jesus, your glorious son, the son of God. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture here. Philippians 2:10 and 11. that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. So, as you can see here, I'm going to give you some other additional words in here. The bolded words in the scripture mean those are the words in the King James version. the words next to it in parenthesis italicize are other words that meant that the original Hebrew or Greek word meant. So in other words, you can translate the word into other meanings. Here thing about language is you've got to understand it doesn't always translate word to word. It has to be a concept or a meaning behind whatever the structure of the sentence is. So I've been teaching in that. So this message is called the name of Jesus. And let me remind you uh judge me. That is your responsibility. You need to judge if I'm teaching correctly in context, if I'm teaching the word translations correctly. You need to do homework and research this. You need to choose whether you accept or reject this message. So I remind you to do that. And then that doesn't mean you come and harass me if I'm doing it wrong. It means you go to the Lord and I promise you he will correct me. I for a while there I was quoting Joel 2:32 as Joel 21:13. I did it for three or four messages in a row. Didn't even realize it and the Lord brought it to my attention and I corrected it. So I am ever learning. You know I'm a human being just like you are. So that means you have a responsibility to test what you hear, what you're going to believe in, what you're going to receive. Amen. All right. This is called the name of Jesus. So that now that word that is to demonstrate in the concept of what we're talking about. So you're demonstrating at the authority which is what the name means. Authority of Jesus. By the way, Jesus name in the Greek is Yahosua. And I am pretty confident I'm not sounding that out appropriately just to be fair play here. Um I sometimes I can get some of the accents right in other languages and there are other times I just can't. So this is one of those times. So demonstrate the authority of Yahushua all every knee everybody's knee that's everyone the whole knee should bend of the things in heaven. Now I want you to see something here that's very important. So we see we have the authority of Jesus. That is our demonstration. We're to demonstrate the authority of Jesus. We are called to demonstrate that as a believer in Christ. So keep that in mind. That's what this means. Now I want you to see three uh three things here of things in heaven which is above the sky, things in the earth that are worldly and things under the earth subter subterranean and infernal. We operate in three levels. And yet we're just a little human being higher on the planet earth. But we do operate in the heavens where God sits and is his heavenly reign and his abode. We actually every time you go in prayer in the name of Jesus, you are constantly going up to his courtroom, the throne room. And guess who's all there watching? The devils and the angels. This is why we have to speak. This is why our tongue does the work. This is how we do battle is through our mouths and what we speak. So when you and and Jesus gave us his name. So when you speak and you speak in the name of Jesus, you are speaking authority and demonstrating it not only to the earthly or the heavenly realm in that throne room area in the courtroom, but you're also demonstrating here on earth. And guess what? Below the earth. Why below the earth? Because the devil was defeated. F E T E D. He lost his feet when he was a serpent who had feet and he has he was a serpent who had no feet. He had a crawl on his belly. He gets below our feet in the name of Jesus. Which by the way, he's also below all the creeping crawies. He's below spiders. He's below anything that crawls on the earth. This is the power and the authority that the name of Jesus is granted to us. Now I'm going to show you how this works. So let's go a little further because you now that you understand where it applies which is the heaven above the earth and then the earth below. It says now every tongue remember I said it's spoken word. So every language this is what the word tongue means should confess. Look at this. Acknowledge profess promise. You're saying in the name of Jesus I profess and I promise you healing in the name of Jesus. Do you see how that works? That is using the authority that we've been given. So you should confess or profess that Jesus Christ, the word Christ there means anointed. So Jesus is anointed. He is Lord. Look at what that word Lord means. Supreme in authority. I want you to understand something. The word Lord means supreme in authority. But when you speak in the name of Jesus, not the name of the Lord. Because see, the devil thinks he's supreme being and wants to be called Lord. Are you wondering why some of your prayers are not being answered? Are you using the name of Jesus? Or are you just saying, "Hey, in the Lord's name, if you really want your prayers to change and be effective, continue to watch this message." Keep in mind, you should be analyzing yourself every day. You should be looking at yourself. Look at your church. Look at your Bible time with the Lord. Look at your relationship with the Lord. Are you effective in your ministry? Are you impacting others lives? You know, I I have a sister-in-law. We I've been interceding now for a handful of months now, and I'm really really going after the devils and telling them to get below my feet in the name of Jesus, the son of God. I I mean, I'm going all out now. And she texts me. We haven't hardly text in years. And in the last couple weeks, she's been texting me. But she made a little odd statement there. Says, "Matt, you are powerful." I'm like, "No, I give God the glory." But see, they recognize it. They see it. They hear it. They know. This is why you have the right and the authority to use the name of Jesus and affect those around because they know in their spirit they will be listening. They will hear. They will know. They will recognize that you're the one doing it and they're going to be like they're they should be thanking you. They may not know. They may not know so much in the sense of you're actually doing it, but they can feel it in their spirit. Someone's praying for them. Someone's taking care of them. And then to top it off, when they come into you, and anyone who comes up to you, if you're living your life like this, I promise you, they notice. They take uh they they notice, they see it, they feel it, they know something's different. This is how we're supposed to be operating as believers in Christ. So every tongue, that's the language, that's our spoken tongue, our words, confess, meaning you're speaking it with your mouth, that Jesus Christ, the anointed, is Lord to the glory. By the way, that word glory means very apparent of God. He's the son of God. And who is God? He's the supreme divinity and of course we call him the father which then he becomes a parent to us. He is parent. He's dad. He is that and I did a teaching on father and who he is and trying to build your relationship with him and not to build your relationship based on the known relationships you have here on the earth but try to build it through the word of God through the father through the son Jesus. follow Jesus' example and whatever Jesus did, he did it because of his father. Because of what he saw through his father. So this is where we get to come in and say, "Okay, well, I'm going to do what I saw Jesus do." Name of Jesus, you're given the authority. You get to heal people, lift them up, get them up walking. That is our responsibility. And saving souls at the same time. This is how we become fruitful. This is how we multiply. But it starts sp with spending the time in the private secret place with the Lord. Boy, I keep going back to that, don't I? I've taught that multiple times now. Oh man, I got to actually probably over 50 times in the last two, three years I've taught about being in the secret place with the Lord. Oh my word. Let's continue on. Look at this in John 14:13 and 8 through 18. and whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the father may be glorified in the son. So, we're going to pause here and let's expand this verse. You know, it is amazing. I like this teaching method. It gives you a whole new perspective of what Jesus is saying in the scriptures. Now, this is Jesus talking. He says, "And whatsoever, anything that you ask, any that any that the word whatsoever means any and then whatever you're talking about in context, any that ye shall ask." Look at what the word ask. Beg, call, require. And look at the word in fixed position meaning now. I require now. Okay? And then he says, "My name," which by the way, his name means authority that I will do. Look at what he's going to do. This is Jesus talking. He says to make, agree, cause. We're going to band together that the father may be esteemed in the son. This is whole. So you are building your relationship with Jesus and the father. So everything you do in the name of Jesus is going to go direct to the father. We're going to see what Jesus does when he goes to see the father here in a moment. But I want you to see that he is coming in agreement with you when you use the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus, the son of God, his only begotten son. You've, you know, like I said, the devil tries to sneak in and tries to make himself lord. Because see, how do the demons know who you're speaking of? And if they think they have any way out that you open the door for that means anything but the name of Jesus the son of God, they're going to use that. They're going to use whatever method they can to not answer your prayers. When the reality is God because see when God answers your prayers, those demons have to follow. So if you're not getting that movement in your life, you're not getting the breakthrough of your healing, you're not getting breakthrough of your financial situation, these are the things that we need to pay much attention to the name of Jesus because the demonic activity can say, well, he said in the Lord, well, I'm Lord and I don't want to do it. You see how the demons think you what was it a couple weeks ago? We taught what of a a Christian to be aware and cunning. We got to be aware and cunning. We got to make it so they can't get out of our words because we're fighting a battle of words. Now, amen. Let's continue on to verse 14. If Now, we're coming into conditional statements. So, if you're having trouble getting your prayers answered, let's look at the conditions that are put on the request. if which is conditional. Ye shall ask anything in my name. I look at this. He's emphatic about it. Will do or I'm going to make her do it. He says he's going to make her do it. But he says you have to ask in my name. If you're not at the Lord's will be done. Amen.

you're not having an effective prayer because the Lord's will is he wants to heal you. He wants to bless you. But you have to do it through whom you believe which is the son of God. He's the one who died for us. He's the one who pardoned us. So our sins are forgiven. Now we are considered righteous and justified. So where do we go with sanctification in the name of Jesus? The authority that we have, we speak it out. If you're not doing this part, this is hindering you, holding you back. And you should be sensing this and being aware of it, especially if you're listening to this message. The Holy Spirit is trying to show you something here. Pay attention. Verse 15 here again. Here's the condition. If ye love me, keep my commandments. I want you to see this. If you look at the word love there means in a social moral sense.

For those of you who are not divorced because you love one another and you have children, you have made it a priority to keep your family together. You're not allowing the dark evil curses and thoughts to come in and tear you apart. You work around it. I remember back in the day marriage counseling, they they came to a statement where they said uh as long as you do not have the word divorce as part of your vocabulary, you tend to overcome because you let go, forgive, move on. And that's on both sides. Okay? This is how you go through. You power through that. You you pray and you give it to the Lord. You trust in him. But you're doing this out of this moral sense.

What's morality in a world that well marriage is oh sleep together for nine months and see if it works out and see but a moral sense if you go back just 50 years ago getting a divorce was taboo. Maybe 75 years ago now but it was taboo. You don't want to do that. you didn't do that or you were considered scorned. But look at what he's saying in a social or moral sense. So in other words, you've got to love God this way. You're putting him as a priority, as an important factor of your life. He's the one that's going to work with you and you work with him. Notice though how conditional this is. If you do this, you love me in this moral, social sense. Look at this. You guard my commandments. What are his commandments? To love him with all of your heart, mind, soul, body. You are loving him in that moral sense, social sense. You're saying to the outside world, I'm choosing to live godly by putting God first because I love him. And because you're choosing to do that, here's the if conditional. Anything you ask in the name of Jesus, it will be given. Jesus will do it. He will make it happen. He will make it done. This is the power and the authority that we've been given. Oh, hallelujah. This is awesome. And look at we have to guard his commandments. We have to remember it's an act on our part. Let me tell you something here. When you get up in the morning, you're going to find my week fluctuates. Right now, I haven't started my new job, but today, Saturday, today's the day we go shopping. We went and looked at the new homes this morning. Progress is being made. We're going to have the keys on the day before Thanksgiving. The tiles in, you know, they're getting everything in there and the um uh all the uh cabinets are in all stuff. It's getting exciting. But we do that and then we go and uh do our shopping today. Reload the house with food and what have you. Um, but usually Monday through Friday, first thing I do when I get up, I'm reading the word of God. I'm praying. But Saturday, I have to change it, move it around. So, I've been doing the interceding in the morning, Monday through Friday. Well, guess what? I'm going to do my interceding today. It'll be this evening. Had a busy day. Did all that shopping and now I'm speaking and teaching this word here. So, I have to adjust, but I have to make a point of it. I have to guard the commandments because he is my priority. So I'm moving around my day and that is perfectly acceptable. You don't have to have a set time adjust and adapt to what your schedule is. You just make sure he is your priority. You guard his commandments. And to love him is to make him a part of your life. You should be when you're going like grocery shopping, you got a new recipe. You're picking up something you've never picked up before at the grocery store. Man, Lord, I can't find it. Where is this? I mean, my husband today in Walmart, I'm on the app looking for disposable gloves of all things. I couldn't find it where I thought it would be. It wasn't. And then anyways, I kept thinking, well, maybe it's by the cleaning spice. It sure was. But I'm on the app looking for what aisle it's on. And Lord, where is this? And he helped us. That is uh you you know, he's part of my daily life. I'm going to ask him about something silly like that. That's where we need to get with our relationship with the Lord every day and especially if you're a cunning aware Christian and you somebody says something and it triggers. It's like a red flag and that's when you say, "Oh yeah, but we've got to forgive them and let them go." You change the subject and then you pray with them right then and there. It defeats the whole situation. This is the using the power of our tongue and the authority of the name of Jesus being effective to everything around us. Everyone, everything in the heaven above, on the earth here and below the earth. Let's continue on. Verse 16. Now Jesus is talking about this. And I will pray. He's he's joining with us. Interrogate, request the father. I love that. He's going to go to the father and he's going to question the father as to can this be done? What is it that it becomes a priority where we have to answer no? Because sometimes he's going to answer no. Because see, even though you're praying for somebody to get saved and you pray, as long as you're persistent, the Holy Spirit will continue to work on that person. Uh the moment you give up, who knows what happens. But yes, that person can refuse all the way till their death. That's their free will. They get to do whatever. But what happens is when you're praying with them, the Holy Spirit takes opportunities to open their eyes and show them something and he brings them closer to making the decision for Christ. And sometimes you'll have victory, sometimes you won't. So he interrogates, he questions, where is this going? What's going to happen? He questions his father this way. And he goes, "And he shall give." This is he's he's talking uh Jesus is talking. He's going to give. He's going to bestow, bring forth, commit, deliver, grant you another. This is a different the comforter, the Holy Spirit. He's the intercessor, the consoler, the advocate. Because what if we don't know someone who got may have gotten saved, but they passed away? We don't know, but God knows. So, the comforter is going to be there to be with us, to comfort us. Jesus says he's going to be there with you all the time. Watch this. That he may abide. He's going to stay, dwell, endure. He's going to remain and stand with you forever into perpetuity. This is the Holy Spirit, the comforter being with you at all times through everything. So even if you're not getting your answer right away, the comforter is there and he's holding your hand and he knows you prayed that and you prayed it in the name of Jesus. And God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit are working together to bring together what you asked for to make it manifest to give it to you in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Verse 17, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him, but ye know him, for he dwelleth with you, and you and shall be in you. This is very powerful because I want you to see something. Look at this. Even the spirit of truth, what you're dealing with is spirits, familiar spirits, demonic spirits, the spirit of wisdom, the spirit of knowledge, the spirit of understand. And by the way, there's a spirit of wisdom, God's wisdom, and there's a spirit of wisdom, earthly wisdom. Here you have the spirit of truth. He's showing you. And we know that in today's world, truth becomes what's truth to me when that's not the real issue. The fact is, and that's the truth. Okay? So even the spirit of truth, he's verifying this is the spirit. He's current. He's an air. Uh he's of the air. whom the world the world cannot receive, cannot take him. Look at the world as an orderly arrangement. God has put everything in an orderly arrangement. It everything is military and it has rank. It is in order. And once we learn that, by the way, boy, we can be really effective in this. And the world cannot receive, cannot take this Holy Spirit or comforter. And it sees him, but it can't discern him. This this spirit is baffling wind and backwards to them. Think of it like this. Hamas in Israel today and all of the things that went on this past week. You got people out there voting for Palestine and you got people who are voting for Hamas and what they're saying. I mean, this is how backwards this is. I saw one video of a guy talking to a reporter. She talked about beheading the babies and he's like that's just fake because nobody ever does it. And even her mom came out and said, "Yeah, we did it.

Do you see?" And but they can't see it. They can't discern the Holy Spirit in all of this. They cannot discern the comforter. This guy is so angry. He's so upset with what's going on and he thinks he knows the right answer when he doesn't even accept the terrorist admission to what they did. That's crazy. That I can't even explain that. It's just so weird and crazy to me. But they cannot. It's baffling. It's backwards. But look, they don't know him to know. Absolutely no. They do not know him. Absolutely. They don't know him. I heard of that Jesus. Yeah, he's okay. But they don't know him. They don't know the Holy Spirit. They don't know Jesus. But you know him and he dwells. He stays and abides with you. And look at this. He shall be in which is a fixed and relation of rest to you. So while you're waiting for your prayers, you're at rest in the Holy Spirit. Isn't that amazing? Because that's what he does to you. This is awesome. And look what he further says in verse 18. I will not leave. I'm not going to lay you aside and leave you comfortless. I'm not going to leave you bererieved or an orphan. I will come. I'm going to go with you. I'm going to accompany you. I'm going to appear with you. I'm going to appear to you and I'm going to be with you. This is what Jesus is saying. You will not be left alone. Keep that in mind. Keep that up upfront. This is the anointing of the Holy Spirit. when you guys are abiding, you have this gift, the authority of his name. And he gives you the rest and the comfort that you need so that you can move forward as you continue to pray. You're not afraid. You know, when all this jihad stuff was being declared, I went immediately into intercessor. Yes, I was upset and affected by it for a few hours initially, but my prayers went in for every Jew and for every Christian. And I said, "Not do not let one get lost or um uh lose in any way, but let them be in authority and let them be saved and kept from the enemy." And it actually turned out to be a very peaceful jihad. I think there was just one teacher who was stabbed in France of all the news that I'm aware of. And I get a lot of it, but today, Saturday, I haven't seen a whole lot today. It's been a busy day. But that is absolutely amazing. But that's the authority that we have. You see, here's the month of August. What are we going into Halloween? What are the witches and the warlocks and all these people doing right now? They're casting spells and curses. You know what I did at the beginning of this month? Because I'm cunning and I'm aware. And in the secret place with the Lord, I said, "Every curse that they speak, Lord, I forgive them immediately." So, they're now ineffective and cannot do anything and be profitable. That's how you fight the enemy. You get cunning. You get aware. I was aware of Halloween. I knew what these people were doing behind the scenes. See, they're working harder than you. They're out at midnight doing evil things. Actually, there's scripture that tells you that they can't even sleep until they do something evil. So while they're doing that, I went into my sacred place and says, "Hey, we're going to stop those now." And then I said, "Lord, stop them from cursing. Keep them from going to shut their mouths." I did that in in California about the weather because they kept talking about a drought. I hear we had so much rain. It was like, "Really? Really? The lakes were all full up again." It's like, stop them from cursing. It's like they want to go back to being a drought. It was a piece of news that they were living on. But no, you got to let it go. This is where we the believer get to be effective and powerful behind the scenes. Amen. Amen. Oh, hallelujah. In the name of Jesus. We are talking about the name of Jesus. John 15 where six and seven. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch and is withered and men gather them and cast them into the fire and they are burned. You see, when you are not spending time with the Lord, you are ineffective. You are heading towards being burned and shriveling up and dying. This is why your health, you're affected. I just taught on this a couple weeks ago. Your health is affected by this because you dry up and that becomes kindle for fire. You get to burn. So you have to stay in Christ. He otherwise he's going to throw you outside away and you're going to wither, shrivel, and men are going to gather you up. See, this gives authority to others over you, and your prayers won't be effective. Here's the condition. You got to be abiding with the Lord. Oh, so powerful. Verse seven here again. Here's the condition. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. You get what you ask for. Now, if you're asking to win the lottery and God knows what that's going to do to you, because I don't know if you realize how many people commit suicide when they win the lottery, or how many are murdered because family members are trying to steal the money from them. If you're going to win the lottery, he's got to make you cunning in a way. He's got to change your heart and your mind in order to manage that money. So, if you're not letting him do that, he's going to tell you no until he until you let him change your heart and mind. But if you're asking him to meet your needs, he will meet them. Everything will be met. And all you got to do is abide. Actually, he does it automatically. I would never have to pay for our finances or anything. And yet, I still haven't started my new job yet. And yet, and we're paying more out right now than we're receiving in, but we do have money saved and prepared. And now we're going to be paying less because of the buy out of the houses. God is good. He is providing and it's all in his perfect timing. This is how he works. But look at what he says here in the deep part of the scripture. Abide. You're going to stay and dwell in me and Jesus. You got to let his words hit utterance. His words need to utter utter into you. Abide in you. You need to be able to remember scripture. You know, as we saw this pickup truck today driving down the freeway passes, he had Philippians 4:13. Well, he didn't put the scripture on there. And you know, it's hard to remember scriptures at all times. This is a popular one, but anything is possible through Christ who strengthens me. And I remembered it. But I I I wish people would put the whole scripture there. And anyway, that's a whole another ball game. But look, Dwell, let his words uttered. Let the utterance be in you. By the way, that utterance is the Holy Spirit. When you are speaking in tonesues and you don't know what to speak and say, he manifests himself by speaking in tonesues in another language, a secret language only between you and God. And it could be a a language that existed 5,000 years ago. Who knows? God knows how to speak with you without the enemy hearing you. That's utterance. That's how that works in the name of Jesus. Because you need that because you're in warfare. You don't want the enemy to know what you're praying unless you're going after the enemy because now you're telling the enemy, you better run. That's what we get to do as a Christian. This is the authority and the power that we have been given. So where is the power? Where are the Christians doing this? Who are you? Are you being that Christian in that secret place? You ought to be. And you should be seeing him manifest in your life in the name of Jesus. And look, it says, "And what ye ask? You ask what?" And look at this uncertainty because you don't know what's going to happen. Like the jihad thing, I didn't know what was going to happen, where that was going, but we can prevent it. You know, Perry Stone teaches about visions and dreams that he had. He and they were bad, but he goes into prayer about it and now it prevents it. So, was it prophecy that he was able to prevent it? But if you're shown these things, but you don't know what it is, but you're praying in the tongues, you're praying in the name of Jesus, whatever. You say, "Lord, I'm giving this to you. I don't even know what it is, but but you're praying for it." He knows and he is taking care of it. Says uncertainty. Look at this. You will. And what does that word? Means you're determined. I'm determined to get my cousin saved. I'm determined to get healing. Oh Lord, I'm going to keep coming to you. Um there's a pastor I know, Pastor Oed Martinez in Palm Springs, I think is where they're at. Anyways, his mother, she used to walk up and down the altar at church with her checkbook. Here I am, Lord. I need you. I need you. And she'd be laying it down and then the Lord would provide determination. And Jesus talked about I I wish I put that. I didn't put it in here. It' be a very long message if I did. But look at the judge where that woman, the widow, kept pestering him. He says, "I'm just going to give you what you want because you keep pestering me and I got to let I got to get you away from me." How much more will Jesus answered if you keep being determined and persistent in your prayer request? And then he will eventually give you if he's telling you no and he's showing you why, he will show you that in scripture. If you're abiding with him, his scripture will manifest and it will show, oh, I guess I can't pray for that. Let's change this. And you start praying and he will show you. You got to be prepared for that. Hallelujah. And then and it shall be done. Look at this. Cause to be and then become unto you. You get the answer to your prayer request. Now, I want to show you how, remember I was talking about this being heavenly on the earth and under the earth. Look at how this works because Jesus did this. Matthew 16:19. You can also find this in Matthew 18. He says, "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." I want you to see the deeper meaning of this. So, look at what's a key do. It shuts a lock. Oh, by the way, keys open locks. So, who is the key? The name of Jesus. So, Jesus says, I'm giving you the keys. That's he gave you the comforter. He gave you the name of the his power of his name and he also gave it to you in a conditional manner where you have a relationship with him. And as you're righteous and you're continuing to be righteous, abiding and dwelling in him, those keys are given unto you. What do the keys do? They're It's a key to the kingdom of heaven, royalty, realm of heaven, where God abodess. It's the sky. Look at this. It's where the power exists and eternity exists. And look, and whatever you bind, what is that word bind? Knit, tie, be wind. I when I saw wind, I thought that was I stuck that in here. Have you ever tried to go forward against a windstorm and you just can't get very far or it's so hard on you that you you just can't remember windstorm many many years ago in our uh house we just left. My daughter was trying to get the the lawn furniture tied down. We weren't watching the weather and I could just see her hair blowing behind her and she's leaning into the wind but she was fighting it. Well, here you go. You are leaning into these winds fire because you are binding some you're bound. You can't go further. That's what the Holy Spirit does. Paul was buffeted. He couldn't go forward. You can go read more about that. But that's what he's talking about. This is what binding does. And then look at this on. By the way, that means a time, a place, and an order. A whole order, a command on time. Now lo
