House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 1 Samuel 15:1-9 NKJV 15 Samuel also said to Saul, “The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Top of Page Top of Page OBEYING GOD AND CONSEQUENCES Written by Lisa Kane 3/18/2021 1 Samuel 15:1- 9 NKJV 15 Samuel also said to Saul, “The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Now therefore, heed the voice of the words of the Lord. 2 Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, how he ambushed him on the way when he came up from Egypt. 3 Now go and attack[a ] Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’ ” 4 So Saul gathered the people together and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand foot soldiers and ten thousand men of Judah. 5 And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and lay in wait in the valley. 6 Then Saul said to the Kenites, “Go, depart, get down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them. For you showed kindness to all the children of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites. 7 And Saul attacked the Amalekites, from Havilah all the way to Shur, which is east of Egypt. 8 He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. 9 But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed. In the above scriptures, you can see that Saul and the people decided on their own to pick and choose what they would save vs destroying. God has a reason for destroying this race. They’re descendants from the giants and God cursed them before the flood. He was using Israel to fully destroy them completing His word against the giants. Another words, this was a race that had mixed blood between spirit realm and humanity. This is what the giants did when the watchers mated by taking humans wives for themselves. Genesis 6:1-2 NKJV 6 Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. Isaiah 1:18 NKJV 18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. We may not always understand why God has certain commandments in place, but we need to obey them. We can go to Him and ask Him for understanding but the end act still results in obedience, otherwise there are consequences and having God reject you is an awful consequence you do not want to experience. 1 Samuel 15:10-23 NKJV 10 Now the word of the Lord came to Samuel, saying, 11 “I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.” And it grieved Samuel, and he cried out to the Lord all night. 12 So when Samuel rose early in the morning to meet Saul, it was told Samuel, saying, “Saul went to Carmel, and indeed, he set up a monument for himself; and he has gone on around, passed by, and gone down to Gilgal.” 13 Then Samuel went to Saul, and Saul said to him, “Blessed are you of the Lord! I have performed the commandment of the Lord.” 14 But Samuel said, “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?” 15 And Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen, to sacrifice to the Lord your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.” 16 Then Samuel said to Saul, “Be quiet! And I will tell you what the Lord said to me last night.” And he said to him, “Speak on.” 17 So Samuel said, “When you were little in your own eyes, were you not head of the tribes of Israel? And did not the Lord anoint you king over Israel? 18 Now the Lord sent you on a mission, and said, ‘Go, and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are [b ]consumed.’ 19 Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord? Why did you swoop down on the [c ]spoil, and do evil in the sight of the Lord?” 20 And Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and gone on the mission on which the Lord sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. 21 But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal.” 22 So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of [d ]witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” Notice two things going on here. The king blamed the disobedience on the people in essence lying to God about obeying His commandments. Second, he kept twisting his response to say that yes, he did obey God’s commandments ‘for the most part’. (That part is implied but God knows the truth.) Question, do you think Saul was aware of what he was doing? I’m pretty certain he was and when dealing with other people in a situation like this, you usually can talk your way out of the disobedience, but Saul learned quickly he couldn’t talk his way out of this one with Samuel. Then Saul tried another approach. 1 Samuel 15:24-29 NKJV 24 Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice. 25 Now therefore, please pardon my sin, and return with me, that I may worship the Lord.” 26 But Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you, for you have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you from being kin g over Israel.” 27 And as Samuel turned around to go away, Saul seized the edge of his robe, and it tore. 28 So Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you. 29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent.” Saul tried repenting with a lie. By still blaming the people in saying he obeyed their voice vs God’s voice, he said he was sorry but in reality, he still blamed the people and didn’t take responsibility for his sin. Samuel still didn’t fall for the false repentance. Look what happened. God removed Saul from being king over Israel and because Saul realized that it was too late and tried to physically man handled Samuel into accepting his repentance, and ending up tearing his robe, Samuel proclaimed the kingdom will be torn from him. 1 Samuel 15:23 NKJV 23 For rebellion is as the sin of [d ]witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” Because Saul rejected the word of God, God rejected him from being king. Every time you reject God, He rejects you. And some of the things you reject have permanent consequences, such as Saul no longer being king. There are consequences but it’s not too late. Humble yourself and repent. Return to God and heed His Word. Exodus 15:26 NKJV 26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.” Romans 10:9-10 NKJV 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. To repent, confess with your mouth and be sincere. Don’t be like Saul. Say this out loud: Dear Jesus, forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and be my Lord and savior. I’m sorry that I’ve disobeyed Your Word but I choose to no longer do that. In Jesus’ Name, Amen! Now seek God’s Word and find out what His commandments are so you can walk in obedience. Note, you’re still responsible in ignorance. And don’t depend on people or non-biblical sources to tell you what God’s commandments are. Find out direct from the source – The Bible. And once you find out, obey them. Once you place God’s commandments first in the center of your life, everything lines up. Blessings come your way and God says He knows you. Does God know who you are? If He knows you, you’re protected. Psalm 91:1-16 NKJV He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3 Surely He shall de liver you from the snare of the [a ]fowler And from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and [b ]buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall [c ]bear you up, Lest you [d ]dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. 14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will [e ]set him on high, because he has known My name. 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With [f ]long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.” More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • MATURITY VS. INFANCY | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 1 Corinthians 3:1 “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.” Top of Page MATURITY VS. INFANCY 1 Corinthians 3:1 “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.” The difference between a mature person and a childish person can be ascertained by their ability to engage in substantive communication. Paul made the statement to the Corinthian church that he was unable to communicate with them due to their lack of understanding spiritually mature subjects, he simply said to them, trying to talk with you about spiritual issues is like speaking to little children about things that they are unable to comprehend. In the natural all children grow up, that is, eventually they all mature into an adult understanding of the realities of everyday life. However, not all baby Christians mature into an adult understanding of spiritual life, and that is sad. Imagine living your entire adult life with a child’s mindset. The ministry of deliverance is a great tool that the Lord uses to bring baby or carnal Christians into spiritual maturity, for the word deliverance also means liberation, and a person matures as his/her mind is liberated from childish thinking, or foolish thinking, that unfortunately keep many Christians from ever coming into the maturity of the faith. 1 Corinthians 3:2 “I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able.” What is it that keeps so many Christians from growing up spiritually? There are several elements to this problem, the first and the most basic one in my opinion, is the tendency of the church to hold on to its converts, instead of seeing them as seed that they are to scatter abroad. If we look at the church from a business model perspective, the first question that we must ask is this: what is the product that the church was created to produce? Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” The goal of the church is to duplicate itself wherever it goes, that means that those who are converted are to be raised up in the expectation that they themselves will grow up to become servants of the call of Jesus for all to go and to make disciples. In the business model some have to stay in the churches that are planted, to mind the store if you will, but always with the expectation that they might be called to convert others and to make disciples out of them, even outside of the realm of influence of their local church. Like in their workplace , or family members that are not part of their local community. The ideal church is one that is raising up mature believers that hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, and since the end goal is the same for those who stay as for those who are called to leave, there is no acrimony, for their aim is to go and to make disciples, here or there, or everywhere, it matters not, as long as our goal remains the same; to fulfill the call of Jesus to go and to make disciples of every nation. 1 Corinthians 3:3 “For you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?” Envy is always the result of selfishness, and it always brings with it strife and division. The devastating result of selfishness within the church is that it changes the goal for which Jesus established the church. 1 Corinthians 3:4 “For when one says, ‘I am of Paul,’ and another, ‘I am of Apollos,’ are you not carnal?” Once the goal is changed, the product changes as well. If the farmer decides that he is going to keep and eat most of the corn that he harvested, and greatly reduces the amount of seed that he is suppose to scattered abroad, not only the quality of the product is vastly reduced, but the amount that he produces suffers greatly as well. How does that principle of selfishness applies to the church today? Hebrews 5:13 “For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.” Imagine going to a church where they do not want you to ever leave. How many sermons on maturing spiritually so that you can go out and make disciples are you going to hear? Not many, I venture to say, for it would contradict their goal of keeping you there. How many sermons on how your spiritual walk is so totally dependent on them and what they offer you will you hear, that you wouldn’t dare think of ever leaving them? You see, if they want to keep you they have to create a need of them in your life. Hebrews 5:12 “For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.” If I can paraphrase You have come to need milk, You are a babe and you are hooked and in need of milk not solid food. Can you see the deviation from the original call? As long as you stay with their milk you will never mature and move on to your higher calling, and that is their aim if they are acting selfishly, for in their mind is the thought of why would we make faithful disciples to go out and plow in somebody else’s field? There is just one field for those of us who believe, the Lord’s field, and it does not matter who on this earth seems to get the credit as long as the great commission is proclaimed to the entire world, as we believers come into the maturity of the faith as one body, under one Lord, Jesus Christ! If I am one of those infants who is hooked to their baby formula, how do I get out of it? Hebrews 6:1-2 “Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection (maturity), not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrines of baptism, of laying on hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” Everything enumerated in the verses above are doctrinal foundations of Christianity, that is why on verse three he states that: And this we will do if God permits, in other words, that is the message that we are to proclaim to the new converts. But those of you who have already learned the foundational principles need to move on, he said leave that discussion, and move up. If every time you go to church you find that you have to repent all over again every time that you hear a call to repentance, something is wrong, chances are you are hooked to babe’s milk and in need of somebody to lay hands on you and feed you some more formula, or change your spiritual diaper. How do I move up? Hebrews 5:14 “But solid food belongs to those who are full of age (mature), that is, those who by reason of use (practice) have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” There is an Old Testament Scripture where God compels those to whom He is speaking to come up higher and to reason together with Him. Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Why don’t we do that right now. Think back to when you were first saved, did God know every sin that you had ever committed and still saved you? He not only knew every sin that we had ever committed and forgave us when we first got saved, but even all those sins that we did not even know we had committed or remembered, He forgave them all as well. As you probably know, God is all knowing; so on that basis let me ask you again, did not God know all your future sins as well and still forgave you when you first got saved? He forgave us of all of our future sins when we first got saved through a mechanism He put in place where we could in the future bring to Him those sins that were yet to be committed by us? 1 John 2:1 “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” So that as Christians when we sin, we do not lose our salvation, we do not have to get saved all over again, we simply confess and acknowledge our sins before Him and He is faithful and just not only to forgive us of the sins that we have perpetrated since our salvation, but He also cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Knowledge and an understanding of this fact will mature you faster than anything that I know, for knowingly or unknowingly those whose aim is to keep you hooked to their baby bottle will always go after the inconsistencies of the flesh in their sermons, to get you back to the basic principles of salvation all over again, to where you will never leave them even if you knew that the Lord had called you, for you would feel so inadequate in your infant mentality. Hebrews 6:4-6 “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.” After the Lord calls us to leave the elementary things behind, things that can be perverted and used by the enemy to stunt our growth, He places the above and very important Scripture to illuminate us into the revelation of the eternity of our salvation that He calls the heavenly gift. Although the above Scripture can be difficult to understand, especially for baby Christians, if you want to grow into maturity you will have to deal with it, that is why the Lord put it there right in the midst of the discussion about immaturity, for it deals with the subject of whether a true believer can lose his/her salvation. Listen carefully, if a born-again believer could lose his/her salvation, that is, if it were possible for a true believer to fall away, then Jesus our Advocate before the Father would be the one that loses the case, and that is contrary to Scripture. John 17:12 “While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.” One cannot be born again unless he/she is a partaker of the Holy Spirit, and it is during salvation that we first taste of the heavenly gift, it might be milk, but is heavenly milk, the sincere milk of the Word of God, so that we are babes at first, but still babes in Christ the unmovable rock of our salvation. Although we are called to maturity, our salvation does not depend on our maturity for it is a heavenly gift from God. Romans 11:29 “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” It is fear that keeps many from maturing in the faith, but God’s perfect love casts out all fear. Fear of losing the gift of our salvation has been used against many to keep them bound, and it is still used today to keep many from leaving the herd and fulfilling their call. God did not call us to sit on our blessed assurance, but to become fruitful workers in the kingdom of God, do not let any human control you or your actions, Jesus is the head of the church, and He speaks to us His children daily, all we have to do is to read His Word with a sincere heart and meditate on the truths that the Holy Spirit reveals to us in His Word. • THE BATTLE SKIRMISH & THE WAR | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) shows us we are born into an active war for our souls, but we have the victory. Revelation 20:10 NKJV 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where[a] the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Top of Page Top of Page The Battle (Skirmish) & The War Written by Lisa Kane 6/26/21 I’m sure you understand what the difference between a battle and the war is but just in case, the battle are small skirmishes in the war and the war is the overall event. For example, the battle of Gettysburg was a battle within the Civil War. Some battles affect the outcome of the war and others have little impact but are important, nonetheless. The same is true for a believer. We deal with battles or skirmishes in our everyday lives but we are in an overall war. I asked myself, why are we in a war and what is this war we’re in? Sneak peak, if you’re on God’s side, you win the war. Revelation 20:10 NKJV 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where[a] the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Notice, I said if you’re on God’s side. So far, now we know, we need to choose a side…again, why? Do you know why you’re in this war? It’s likely you don’t and this message will help you understand the larger picture and I hope it changes your paradigm, thinking of what being a Christian means. And it begins in Genesis. Before we continue, I need to clarify ‘confusion’ related to Genesis chapters 1 and 2. There are not two Adam’s and there are not two Eve’s, etc. Chapter 1 is a supply list of what God creates and chapter 2 clarifies what He put into action. Think of it like this…if you plan to build a house, or fix a car, or create a quilt, you need all your supplies before you begin but it doesn’t become a house, or a fixed car, or a quilt until it’s put together or ‘completed’ or ‘finished’. Genesis 2:1 NKJV 2 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. See, He completed ‘creation’ at the end of verse one in chapter 2. That means now that it’s finished, it’s the universe. But notice what the author says in verse 5 chapter 2: Genesis 2:5 NKJV 5 before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; Notice, He created (formed) male and female in chapter 1 but didn’t put him into creation until Genesis 2:7-8. Genesis 1:27 NJKV 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 2:7-8 NKJV 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. So, one Adam and one Eve. No confusion. Now let’s take a look at ‘why’ we’re in a war. Genesis 2:19-20 continues to show ‘how’ God creates animals and birds. Again, they were formed in chapter 1 and brought to Adam in chapter 2 for naming. Genesis 2:19-20 NKJV 19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to [a]Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. There are several mysteries within these two verses that will change your paradigm as a Christian. First, God wants to spend time with Adam. Adam was created in His image. Adam is the only creature that can procreate and produce more in His image. Angels cannot mate with other Angels nor procreate more Angels, and yes, there are female Angels. Zechariah 5:9 NKJV 9 Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were two women, coming with the wind in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between earth and heaven. However, we do know that Angels mated with women on the Earth and produced Giants. Genesis 6:4 NKJV 4 There were [a]giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. It took the human female host to actually produce a being and even then, those beings, the giants were cursed and were not given a soul/spirit. There are some teachings that even think these giants became the demons we deal with today. You can research that on your own. God created us in His image and we’re able to produce more of us in His image. God wanted to spend time with Adam to get to know Him because Adam was unique and had his own personality. Just like you and I have our own personalities. Let me give you an example (scenario) of how this time was spent with Adam. God brought a male and female type of big gray fat things to Adam to name. God asks him, what do you want to call these? Adam says, I’m going to call them elephants because they have trunks. God smiles. Then Adam says, I have a question though. God says, oh, ask. Adam says, in all the previous big creatures, you gave them long strong thick tales to help support them (dinosaurs) and here, you gave the elephants long skinny tales. Why? That gives you an idea of the relationship building up between God and Adam. There’s another mystery you want to know while you’re here. (Rabbit trail…) Romans 6:23 NKJV 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the [a]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. No sin, no aging. We don’t know Adam’s age here but he remains fully mature during this time because he had not sinned yet. Here’s another mystery and this one tells you ‘why’ we’re in this war. Ezekiel 28:13 NKJV 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created. Look who was in the Garden of Eden, Lucifer. He was the most beautiful creature ever created and I’m sure you’re saying to yourself at this moment, ‘this isn’t a mystery’. We know he was there because he deceived Eve.Theologians will tell you Ezekial 28:13 confirms that the ‘serpent’ was Lucifer but I take it one step further and say that Lucifer was watching God and Adam during this time where it was just the two of them. In fact, he was watching and seething. He was angry. He couldn’t believe that God would give ‘all’ His attention to this worthless, frail creature called a human being – named Adam. He was thinking that God should be giving him His attention and only to him. He wanted God to worship him and it made him angry that He wasn’t. In fact, Lucifer came to the conclusion that he will show God how stupid and frail these human beings can be, which reveals another mystery. Notice Lucifer went after Eve and not Adam. Genesis 3:1 NKJV 3 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’? He didn’t touch Adam because Adam spent quality time with God. Hmmm…maybe if you spent quality time with God, Satan wouldn’t touch you?!?! So, Lucifer wanted God to worship him. Instead, God spent time with Adam and built up a relationship because Adam was His son made in His image. When you have your first child, it is absolutely amazing to hold that beautiful baby in your arms. And as they grow, you get to see what type of personality comes out and what type of person that baby becomes. It’s awesome. That’s what God wanted to see with us. He was thrilled and made a place for us to live (Earth) so he could see that, but Lucifer hated God so much that he went after God’s most precious loved commodity – man. That’s why we’re in war. It’s because Satan hates God so much that he believes if he can get you, he will hurt God. John 3:16 NKJV 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Doesn’t John 3:16 mean more to you now that you know why you’re in this war? It’s similar to America getting drawn into WW2 when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. You were drawn into this war. Notice the issue here – Satan wants to hurt God by making you fail. Do you want to let Satan succeed? Do you really want to hurt God’s feelings? Every battle you face each day can be either a victory or defeat. That’s up to you. God already sent His Son Jesus to ‘redeem’ you with the blood. You have a choice. Romans 8:37 NKJV 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Revelation 3:21 NKJV 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 12:11 NJKV 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. How do you be more than a conqueror and/or how do you overcome daily battles/skirmishes? By the word of your testimony. Every battle you win in this war, tells others they can win too. 2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Here’s the best part. When you make God a priority in your life, (YOUR CHOICE) you become a new creature. That means those old things won’t affect you anymore. You overcame them. That means you have a testimony to share. SHARE IT! Psalm 91:1-3 NKJV He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the [a]fowler from the perilous pestilence. You see, when you put God first, you enter His presence. You seek Him out. You put Him first. That’s saying to Satan, YOU CHOOSE to WORSHIP GOD and not him. HALLELUJAH! Choose God and win the battles. You’ve already won the war. More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministr y End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR THE END IS NEAR | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you... Top of Page PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR THE END IS NEAR 1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: Prepare a room in your hearts for the Lord, for His return is imminent. As many of you who follow my teachings about the end times know, every year I make an honest assessment of what is going on around the world as to how it fits within the prophetic scenario. I call it an honest assessment because I try very hard not to let my inner desires for the Lord’s return to interfere with the reality of what is transpiring. One of the tools that I use to gauge the prophetic condition of the world is how it prepares itself for what’s coming. I believe that those who are in the know have no doubt that an end is coming. These self-proclaimed guardians of the world, who are very rich and powerful have an invested interest in knowing that which lies ahead, for that is how they have become powerful and wealthy, and it is through foreknowledge of future events that they remain powerful and wealthy. Luke 16:8 “...For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light.” They have a lot more to lose. Think of it, we just believe in the Lord and put our trust in His Word and boom, we are gone as soon as He returns, but they get left behind, because they love the world and belong to it. That is the reason why they prepare themselves, they are not planning to leave this world, but rather to rule it. I also believe that they see it as an opportunity if suddenly many of us are removed instantly from this earth in what would be a worldwide population shifting event, for that would create an opening for them to redesign the world government in a way that offers them the abilities of having greater control over the populate and their resources. Although this way of thinking has been around for centuries, we are now living during the technological age that allows them for the first time a real shot at a one world governmental system that could in theory be easily manageable. Revelation 17:12-13 “The ten horns (powers) which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.” John saw how these agents of deceit await for the beast to be revealed to the world so that they can come out of the closet, if you will, and rearrange the world’s governmental structures into ten regions, that are governed by ten leaders, who give all their allegiance to the beast for the purpose of fighting against the Lamb who came and took away His children with Him, to prevent Him from coming back to the earth. A massive data collection complex is being built in Utah, USA, for the purpose of analyzing all of the information that we now know the governments of the world have been gathering for many years now, from people like you and me. Information is power, if you can predict human behavior and how people would react to authoritative change, then you can manipulate their behavior, like cattle driven to the slaughter house. What makes this year so different is that the powers that be are not even trying to hide their agenda from us anymore, that is how close to the end they believe we are, that they can flaunt their manipulative corrupt ways and get away with it without impunity, knowing that the end is near. How do we prepare ourselves against such a power grab? We are not of this world! Let them choke on it. But as Peter said in our opening Scripture: Always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you. We need to prepare our hearts and fill them with God’s promises to us so that we faint not in these last hours before our redemption takes place. If we are not of this world, then where do we belong? Hebrews 11:16 “But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.” We cannot change the destiny of the nations, nor can we stop the coming judgment of God upon an unbelieving world, but we can take encouragement in the fact that we belong to a heavenly country which they can never pervert, for righteousness and justice is the foundation of God’s throne, so we may lose our country here to godless unbelievers, but only to gain a heavenly city that God has prepared for those of us who love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’” The hardest thing for me to understand is the reality that there are people who know that all these things are coming and instead of preparing themselves to become part of the kingdom of light once our Lord is revealed, they think somehow in the futility of their minds, that they can overthrow God and His kingdom and usurp the earth that the Lord created for the delight of His children who love Him. Our next Scripture sheds light into how this is possible. Romans 9:22-24 “What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?” Truth is the antidote for the deception that is being perpetrated right now upon the unbelieving world, we need to know, (make room) deep within our hearts that the end of this age is about to close, and with this in mind we need to prepare ourselves by changing our way of thinking from that of this present age, and begin to put our focus upon the age to come, we do this by disassociating ourselves from the entrapments that this world has to offer, through its lusts and passions, and its for’s and against’. Do not misunderstand me, we need to occupy and to do so fervently, and so we continue to expose their corruption, but we only occupy until He comes, and then we need to be ready to let go in an instant. And with this in mind we also need to make as many converts as possible, those who laughed at our past warnings, who are now witnessing the progression of lawlessness as it becomes exposed, need to know that there is a way out, for salvation is of the Lord. Hebrews 11:7 “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” If our mindset is corralled by our inabilities to change our present condition, then we become hopeless, for nothing that is going on in our present social evolving, is good for us the children of faith. But if our mindset is one of remaining unapologetically faithful to our Lord’s promises, as a beacon to the disillusioned masses, our uncompromising will be rewarded, for the Light of God’s truth will finally shine on those who waver with unbelief, if we faint not. 2 Peter 1:19 “And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • MAN'S FINAL DESTINY | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a book called Man's Final Destiny. This encompasses the rapture and end times. This page includes an excerpt from the book and the link to the full free book. Top of Page Personal Introduction MAN’S FINAL DESTINY The Revelation Unveiled Free book - More books & Manuals Here Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero It was early morning Sunday, February 12, 1989 in the Southern California city of Garden Grove, somewhere about 4:30 AM that I was dreaming about my little hometown of La Isabela where I was born and grew up, in the northern coast of central Cuba. It was one of those dreams that just seemed to keep on going all night long. It was a very dark night in the dream and my wife was walking with me, I was trying to get to “my father’s house,” that’s how I was referring to it in the dream even though in reality I always called that house “my home.” Since I was born in that house in 1947 and it was from the front porch of that same house that was built on stilts over the water, that I got in a small boat eighteen years later and came over to America where I was granted political asylum in 1965. In the dream there was a great deal of gunfire that had erupted throughout the entire small town, which made it very difficult to navigate the narrow streets to “my father’s house” where we would be safe. In the dream I was feeling so guilty that I had gotten my wife in such a mess, since in real life she refuses to travel to Cuba where she feels that it is not safe to go. Continuing with the dream, I knocked on the door of a house less than a block from where I was trying to go, and we were given shelter within that house. However, I was so restless that I kept pacing back and forth and could not find rest, trying to figure out how I was going to get us to “my father’s house.” Finally I got so exhausted that I found a chair in the kitchen where my wife had been sitting around a table and gratefully enjoying the company of our gracious hosts. As I sat down, my mind was still racing; I refused to engage in trivial conversation, keeping my focus on the dangers that surrounded us and on the goal of getting safely to my appointed destination. Realizing this, those who sat around the table asked me to teach them about all that was taking place and what it meant. Breathing a sight of release I said to myself: “Finally someone is taking seriously all these events that encompass us and are now desirous to know what they mean.” In the dream I immediately began to tell them that these were the signs of the end times; I had barely spoken these words when all of the sudden the walls around me disappeared, the darkened skies rolled away in an instant and I was not dreaming anymore! It is so hard to accurately describe what takes place during a spiritual vision because what one experiences is usually lost in the narrative, since the feelings cannot be adequately explained. In an instant I found myself in a realm more real than anything I’ve ever encountered in my life. How could I explain the shock I experienced when faced with the empirical evidence of the existence of another dimension? I was in it! There is no human way to describe how the spiritual mind is able to process so much more information when heighten into the euphoric state of the dimension of the heavenly lights. Instantaneously I was able to think, reason, question, test, and apply myself to understand what was happening within me in many different levels simultaneously, while at the same time observing and participating in the external events that were unfolding around me. John 21:25 “And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.” This Scripture is not an exaggeration! The events that take place in one second of time in the spiritual realm in which Jesus operates, would take millions and millions of words to properly detail, catalogue and explain. Within seconds my eyes saw Him! As the skies receded and I was looking up into the bright white sky, Jesus came out into full view out of the east. He was walking in the air towards me at a very rapid pace but yet at the same time, it was like if He was moving at the speed of light. I know that what I am saying does not make sense, but like I said; extra dimensional experiences elude natural explanation. It was like if someone was rapidly walking on top of a flat train cart going forward while the train is moving at an incredible rate of speed. I was able to perceive both movements at the same time that they were occurring even though He was headed towards me on nothing but bright sky. I feel so inadequate trying to explain the multitudes of feelings that I experienced the very instant that I first saw Him. Next month it will be nineteen years since I had the vision and this is the very first time that I am truly making an effort to write about it in detail. And the only reason that I am doing it, is to try and put into context the why I am writing this expository work on the book of Revelation. My desire is to prepare you for what I believe to be the time for the soon coming of our King and Savior, even our Lord Jesus Christ! A variety of things happened within me when I first saw Him; there was no order as to how they happened, I was able to experience them simultaneously. I remembered seeing His eyes intensely focused on me, the expression on His face was: I AM coming to get you! I was trembling to my very core, there is a Scripture in Isaiah 6:5 that really nails this experience: “So I said: ‘Woe is me, for I am undone!’” I swear I could feel every cell in my body trembling so hard that they became unglued from one another, while at the same time marveling at the fact that I, for the first time in my life was fully aware of how many of them it took to form my physical body. While I was experiencing both, the joy and the fear of His glorious countenance from a still great distance away with a kind of natural telescopic vision, a very intellectual discussion was taking place in my mind as to whether I should try to remember what Jesus looked like and be tempted to make an mental image of Him when I came back, or erase His likeness from my cognitive mind so that I would not have to deal with that aspect of the vision when I came back. So here I was fully aware that what I was experiencing was not the actual rapture but a rehearsal of it, with the ability to retain or release certain parts of the experience. From the time that I first saw Him and had the manifold experiences of which I just shared a couple with you, to the time that He reached the place where I was standing there could not have been more than a couple of seconds. It happened so fast that even though my mind was processing information at a great rate of speed, He was much faster than even my ability to turbo-think. It was like a violent collision, He came from a great distance away with great velocity; without slowing down He crashed into my chest. That was how it felt at first, but then I realized that it was His right hand that had reached and grabbed my chest as He flew by. The closer that He got to me the more that I trembled, that’s when I realized that His holiness was too glorious for my carnality and the cells that form my body were rapidly dying their own individual deaths. I found myself going from zero to the speed of light in less than a microsecond. The speed into which I was suddenly thrust into caused my tongue to flatten like a pancake within my mouth, causing me to feel the empty cavities of missing teeth feeling up. In an instant everything that died became alive, I could feel new teeth growing inside of my mouth, and every cell in my body became reanimated into a perfect man. His touch together with His glorious light brought forth an indescribable new life. While I have been describing the physical aspect of my experience in the catching away, there were other things taking place as well in my spiritual side. The closer that Jesus came to me, the more aware that I became of my spirit man within me. I was able to experience the “real me” for the first time in his full entity. The more of the physical “me” that died, the stronger the spiritual “I” was able to emerge, such dichotomy cannot be properly explained, it has to be experienced. But this one thing I know for certain, in the midst of the torrential flood of emotions that I was experiencing, a vigorous new man rose up from within me, and with a strong masculine voice and with uninhibited zeal, he cried out incessantly with strong conviction: “HALLELUJAH! HE KEPT HIS PROMISE!” Over and over again he repeated this shout with greater exuberance each time he shouted it. The duration of the entire vision, not counting the dreaming part, could not have lasted over a minutes’ time. But in those precious few seconds I experienced more love and more fear, more death and more life, than I could ever experience if I could live hundreds and hundreds of years. I now have a totally different concept of reality, and an ability to understand visions from a very different perspective as you will see as your read my rendering of the visions detailed for us in the book of Revelation by the apostle John. My wife was abruptly awakened when she felt my body shaking uncontrollably as I was lying on the bed. She reached over and grabbed me on the chest to wake me up; my chest and belly areas were so sensitive from experiencing Jesus’ touch, that when she grabbed me I screamed so loud that it brought me out of the vision. After experiencing that other dimension, coming back to this one was so disappointing, but my experience was so vivid that I could not stop talking about it to my sleepy wife at 4:45 in the morning. I got up and went into my living room to pray, but I could not stand still not even for a second. I phoned my mom and woke her up crying that Jesus was coming soon and that she needed to get ready, it was before five am. I was so charged from the experience that I repented before God of all the people that I had neglected to witness to. I swore that I would tell everyone I knew about Jesus plus everybody else; I was so on fire with the zeal of God that the only thing that mattered to me at the time was winning souls for Jesus Christ. Whether good or bad that euphoria waned as the day passed. If I didn’t come down I know they would have locked me up. As I taught adult Sunday school that morning, people were staring at me in a weird sort of way, no doubt wondering what kind of happy influence I was under. By the time evening came I got in bed early so that I could feel closer to the experience, as I lay there, my belly and chest areas got so sensitive again that I could not bring myself to close my eyes, fearful that he would touch me again, and just as fearful that He would not. A few months later, having given myself enough time to digest the experience and with the knowledge that I could now make a rational decision as to the purpose for which God revealed the vision to me, I came to the conclusion that Jesus wanted me to learn about end time prophecy and about the sign of His soon coming. My wife and I entered into a new covenant with the Lord that year; we gave to Him our future, our business, our home, as well as all our personal desires. Needless to say our emphasis changed from normal church attendance and our normal church involvement which we were part of since we got saved in 1976, to a radical pursuit of preparation, training and the all needed times of deliverance that we had to go through, in order to fully let go of those things that hinder the flow of revelation from the Holy Spirit. Eight very difficult years went by; I learned that when God reveals radical things, the enemy steps up with equally radical tricks and attacks. But I also learned that those are the things that God allows in order to refine us and to bring us to total trust in Him and Him alone. During those eight years we had months and months out of every year with no work and no income, every morning I got up I had a choice to make, I could worry about our desperate situation or see it as one more day of home bible schooling, I stayed true to the revelation and chose to study the bible and the signs of His soon coming. After many long hours, months and years of studying and seeking the revelation that only the Lord is able to bring, the framework that would allow me to understand the book of Revelation became clear. Everything made perfect sense all of the sudden, all the pieces of the puzzle started to fall into place. I remember thanking Jesus for His great patience, and I wondered inwardly as to how many times Jesus though how hardheaded I was. I had piles and piles of notes, charts and genealogies all over the pool table that had become my working station, as I wrote the date in a notebook where I made entries of important discoveries, I realized that the day when I finally received the understanding of the framework of the book of Revelation, was much to my surprise February 12, 1997, exactly eight years from the time I had experienced the rapture of the church of Jesus Christ in a vision. • HOW TO DISCERN A SPIRITUAL TRAP | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) explains that we need to consider what type of spirit is it that rules in our hearts as we engage in our pursuit of preaching the Gospel that Jesus preached to the masses. Top of Page HOW TO DISCERN A SPIRITUAL TRAP Luke 9:55-56 “But He turned and rebuked them, and said, ‘You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.’ And they went to another village.” The context for the above verses have to do with the fact that Jesus knew that this was His last ministry trip as He was going up to Jerusalem to be crucified. Jesus sent messengers ahead of His ministry team to prepare the people of the villages that He was passing through on His way to Jerusalem, for He wanted to do as much ministry work as possible on behalf of those who needed His ministry before His crucifixion. A Samaritan village upon hearing from the messengers, that Jesus wanted to minister to them before going up to Jerusalem, did not receive them because of the fact that He was going to Jerusalem, and the Samaritans of that village did not want anything to do with the Jews of Jerusalem. The Jews of that day did not consider the Samaritans to be Jewish enough to worship in Jerusalem, so the Samaritans had to worship God in Samaria instead, and there was a rivalry between them as to where the proper place to worship God was. James and John upon hearing from the messengers that the village that they were about to enter did not welcome them, said this: Luke 9:54 “...Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?” Jesus rebuked them for not having the same spirit in their hearts for ministry that He had; and this is the part that I want our focus to be for this lesson. We need to consider what type of spirit is it that rules in our hearts as we engage in our pursuit of preaching the Gospel that Jesus preached to the masses. There are so many really bad things going on right now, everywhere, that if at some point you don’t feel like James and John felt at that time and wished that you could call fire down from heaven, then you better check your pulse. I know, we know better than that, thank God for hindsight; but not everybody is aware of this spirit of rage that can just rise up at any minute, even within holy apostles, and we need to learn how to discern and how to stay away from their hidden traps. Jesus rebuked against James and John had to do more with their failure to recognize this spirit for what it was, a spirit of antichrist, than for the foolishness of what they wanted to do. Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel (good news, not bad news) to the poor; He has sent Me to heal (not to kill) the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Nowhere in our Lord’s mission statement do we see the words, to bring fire down from heaven. Now isn’t He God? Yes He is! Does He have the power to bring down fire from heaven upon anyone He chooses? Yes He does! But if you are called by God to the ministry, then you better find out quick which type of ministry you are called to fulfill on God’s behalf before you start vaporizing people. It is true that Elijah had called fire down from heaven after prophesying that the injured king of Israel that ruled from Samaria was going to die. 2 Kings 1:2-4 “Now Ahaziah fell through the lattice of his upper room in Samaria, and was injured; so he sent messengers and said to them, ‘Go, inquire of Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I shall recover from this injury.’ But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, ‘Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say to them, “Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-Zebub, the god of Akron?” Now therefore, thus says the Lord: “You shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.”’ So Elijah departed.” When we read our opening Scripture within the greater historical context we can see the trap that the spirit of antichrist was trying to set up against Jesus’ ministry team. It was from Samaria the capitol of Israel at that time, that the king of Israel highly insulted the Lord by trying to bypass God’s duly instituted Elijah’s prophetic ministry, and instead sent seeking for the counsel of Satan himself, the representative of everything that is in opposition to God and His goodness, just like antichrist is the total opposite of who Christ is and His goodness. So that we have messengers, Samaritans, the spirit of antichrist and Satan, all involved in an intricate spiritual plot to try and derail the ministry of Jesus who has been anointed to preach the Gospel of good news to the poor by the Spirit of the Living God. What is troubling about this story is that the two disciples fell for it. Now when the king of Israel saw that his messengers return so quickly, he asked them why had they disobeyed his orders and returned without accomplishing what he had commanded them, to seek the counsel of Satan on behalf of the nation of Israel. He was told that a man had ordered them to return to the king. So the king asked them who was the man that had spoken to them with such authority. 2 Kings 1:8 “So they answered him, ‘A hairy man wearing a leather belt around his waist.’ And he (the king) said, ‘It is Elijah the Tishbite.’” So that the king knew that Elijah was a prophet of God, called to speak on God’s behalf as it concerned the nation of Israel and its kings. Angry at Elijah for prophesying that he would not recover from his injuries, he sent a garrison of fifty soldiers to fetch Elijah. 2 Kings 1:10 “So Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, ‘If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.’ And fire came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.” Now keep in mind that all of this is taking place during the time when Elijah was being prepared to be taken up to heaven, just like Jesus was. 2 Kings 2:1 “And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind…” Luke 9:51 “Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him (Jesus) to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem.” And now we see that when the time had come for Jesus to be received up, as He is headed for Jerusalem trying to minister to as many people as He can before He goes back to heaven, how the devil tried to derail the ministry of Jesus in the same manner that he tried to derail the ministry of Elijah before He was taken up. The way to derail a ministry is by causing it to deviate from its original calling. Jesus ministry was that of: For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them. So the devil by his craftiness tried to use a historical instance recorded in Scripture, along with fanning the flames of anti-Samaritan feelings that were so prevalent among the Jewish people of that day, to change the course of Jesus’ ministry from that of saving peoples lives into destroying them. And if he is able to do that right before Jesus the leader of the ministry is taken away, so that while He is gone the deviation cannot be corrected, then the whole purpose of the ministry is forever altered, from that of being a ministry that aims to save people, to one that ends up destroying them. Although I am using the word ministry as an example, my aim here is more into the personal side of things. Let me explain: Luke 9:62 “...No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God.” Satan is not so stupid as to think that he can derail that which the Lord has established, but if he can disarm as many of the Lord’s servants as he can, then the kingdom of God is hindered. A Christian is disarmed when he/she looks at the circumstances, that is what looking back means, instead of focusing on the foundational principles of our calling. We need to stay away from the frustrations that our present day evil brings; there is so much perversion going on, there is a total disregard for the truth, there is so much hate emanating from people that do not even have a clue as to what Christianity is. We need to understand that people have been blinded by the lies of this present age, and that Jesus came to bring recovery of sight to the blind. The fire that we call from heaven upon them is not for their destruction but for their enlightenment. If we fall into the trap of hating back those who hate us, then we are not in the same manner of spirit that Jesus is and become disqualified, not fit for the Kingdom of God. I know, it is so hard to pray for a world that murders innocent children by the millions and then calls it a choice, but let us keep in mind that God does not rejoice in their destruction, for He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. So let us not fall into the temptations of hate and vengeance for in due time God will deal with all the treachery, and when He does it will not be pretty. Luke 10:10-11 “But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into the streets and say, ‘The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the Kingdom of God has come near you.’” If it helps, know that the ministry of the Kingdom of God is two fold, the main and present purpose is to convert those who live in darkness into the liberty of God’s enlightenment, our part in this present ministry is simple, staying true to the fact that Jesus came not to destroy lives but to save them. John 3:17 “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” As long as we keep the same reference of mind with the mind of Jesus, that is how we know that we are of the same manner of Spirit with Him, no matter how much the evil perpetrated by the world keeps pushing us into repaying evil with evil, we will not budge. Now the second part of the two fold ministry of the Kingdom of God is reserved for the day of the great judgment. I guess that we could say that God is not judging the world as much for the evil that it did, but rather for the fact that it refused the opportunity to receive the freedom that it was offered by the demonstration of God’s great love. Luke 10:12-13 “But I say to you that it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that city (the city that refused to receive the Kingdom of God). Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.” But how can the judgment of God be rendered to them if the Kingdom of God has not been clearly demonstrated to them. In a sense we could say that the devil, by drawing us into the trap of repaying evil with evil, is trying to lessen the very judgment that will befall all those who have rejected the Gospel of Jesus the Anointed One. After Elijah had called down fire from heaven to fall consequently upon the two captains and their fifty men squads that were sent to arrest him, the third captain fell down before Elijah and pleaded for mercy. If he disobeyed the king he would have been killed instantly, and going to arrest Elijah meant certain death as well for him and his fifty men. But he trusted in the God of mercy to deliver him out of an unwinnable situation, and God answered him with mercy. 2 Kings 1:13-15 “Again, he sent a third captain of fifty with his fifty men. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and pleaded with him, and said to him: ‘Man of God, please let my life and the life of these fifty servants of yours be precious in your sight. Look, fire has come down from heaven and burned up the first two captains of fifties with their fifties. But let my life now be precious in your sight.’ And the angel of the Lord said to Elijah, ‘Go down with him…’” So that the fire was never really in Elijah’s hand, it was always in the hands of the angel of the Lord. Notice that the wise captain’s plead was two fold, he said, we were sent here to arrest you but we are now your servants, and since we are now God’s servants, ready to do His will, our lives are now precious to the Lord, and he made that fact the second part of his plead. By doing it that way the spiritual trap that was set before Elijah was disarmed and God was able to show them mercy; and at the same time God’s conviction of their horrible sin of seeking Satan’s advice over God’s counsel was never weakened nor compromised. Justice and love prevailed! More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
