ALTERING THE OUTCOME

Minister Lisa Kane

8 ديسمبر 2024

In “Altering the Outcome,” Lisa Kane teaches on the transformative power of God’s Word and the believer’s authority to change the course of life’s challenges. Drawing from John 1, Genesis 1, Romans 8, and key passages on Jesus’ miracles and resurrection, the message shows how the spoken Word of God carries creative and life-giving power.

Lisa shares a personal testimony of standing in faith for her mother’s healing from cancer, demonstrating how prayer and declaring the name of Jesus bring peace and hope in the midst of trial. She explains that believers are not bound by the law of sin and death but live under the law of the Spirit of life, empowered by the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead.

Through examples such as Jesus walking on water, raising Lazarus, and altering natural laws, listeners are encouraged to recognize that faith and spoken declarations in Jesus’ name can shift circumstances—whether in health, finances, or any area of life. The teaching emphasizes that salvation is not only forgiveness of sins but also deliverance, healing, and preservation, all accessed through confession of Jesus as Lord.

Ultimately, the message calls believers to live by the Spirit, speak God’s promises over their lives, and trust Him to alter outcomes according to His power and will.

Objective:

The purpose of this teaching is to reveal the authority believers in Christ have through the spoken Word of God to alter the outcome of their circumstances. By understanding the power of faith-filled confession and the indwelling Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, Christians can overcome fear, sickness, and adversity, walking in victory and freedom as children of God.

Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above:

Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this teaching on Sunday, December 8th, 2024. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word. And Lord, we pray that your word does not return boy. But I pray that we understand what you're teaching us through your word. That we have authority and the power to alter the outcome of any of our situations. That is to the blessings that you have given us because we know how to come to you and cry out to you. Thank you Lord for making it uh a thing that we remember that we do in every circumstance that we face. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. I'm so glad you can join us today. Thank you. I am calling this teaching altering the outcome. H this is going to be a very good teaching. So stick with me. We're going to start here in John 1:14. And the word was made flesh and dwelt or occupied among us. And we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth. And the word became flesh. Let's talk about the word, the spoken word, the authority that we have to alter the circumstances of what we're in. You know, right now, I'm literally experiencing this. As you know, my mom has been dealing with cancer. She's still in the hospital and I was pretty down earlier today. But praying with others and praying in the spirit, setting time aside just to talk with the Lord. Wow. you know, the peace that surpasses understanding is fulfilling my heart right now, and I'm grateful for that. So, I would like for you to understand that concept and then to trust in the Lord and watch him change things. I'm believing that my mom is going to be sharing a powerful testimony here about cancer and overcoming it. We're going to see if that is true. And I'm trusting in the Lord that that will happen because it is not her time to go home. Not her time to go home with the Lord. She if that was the case, she would have died the last time because she had so many blood clots and sizable ones that it should have hit a brain or her heart. She should have died. She did not. So here we are. We are the house of faith ministry. So I'm hoping to teach a message on faith that uh you realize that you have the authority to change the outcome. Now you do need to be a believer in Christ first. So make sure that you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. If you have not done so, do that first. Uh we can do it very quickly here. You can pause the video, but basically you pray this and you repeat after me. Dear Jesus, I ask you to forgive me of my sins. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Help me to understand your word and the authority that you have given us in the name of Jesus. Amen. is that if that's the first time you've say made that statement, make certain that you get a Bible. You can use the one on the internet, www.biblegateway.com. Excellent resource. You can go buy one on Amazon or go to any bookstore. You can find Bibles there. Um, and then start reading the Gospel of John and then find a home church somewhere that is preferably non-denominational and get in there, start connecting with other believers. Amen. Okay. Okay. So, we're going to be talking about altering the outcome of whatever situation you're facing. This could be health, this could be finances, this could be any situation you're facing. I've taught a lot on this throughout the years, but it's very interesting when you put these particular scriptures together, what it does to the mind and the spoken word, what happens here. And this is why you have a lot of teachers who teach on claim it kind of things. We're not claiming it, but we're declaring the name of Jesus over it or Jesus is Lord over it. And you're going to see the scriptures tell us to do that. So don't think that you're, you know, oh, this is one of those claim it type of teachings. No, I want you to see how the scriptures are applied in this situation. Amen. So, uh, we're going to start here in John chapter 1:es 1 and two. In the beginning was the word. That word, by the way, means something said because we're talking about the spoken word. Says, "In the beginning was the word and the word that something said was with God and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God." Well, how interesting that the gospel of John starts that way because he's saying, "Go back to the beginning and see the spoken word." That's what that says. Let's go to the beginning and see the spoken word. So let's go to Genesis 1 1-4. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said here he spoke it, "Let there be light or illumination, and there was light." And God saw the light that it was good. And God divided the light from the darkness. So John is telling us go back to the spoken word because that spoken word was there in the beginning and remember my opening scripture was and that word became flesh. So the spoken power word of God became flesh which we know as Jesus the the Christ the Messiah. He came as the son of God. He was with God. He was God. He was there in the beginning. He's the spoken word. He spoke the word and he came into his own universe if you will. Okay. So in let's continue on in John chapter 1 now verses 3 and 4. All things were made or caused to be by him and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life and the life was the light luminescence of men. Oh. So we are here for a particular reason. Jesus created this universe and he has given us the authority to use his name because when he died, he rose from the grave. He redeemed us and he gave us the authority to speak in his name and to become adopted into his kingdom where we call father God our father, aba father. This is who we believe and trust in. So Jesus is the son of God. God is the father and God the father is the one who is allowing all this to happen. Jesus created the universe and he made it so we can come in. Now watch what Paul says here in Romans 8 11-15. But if the spirit of him that raised Jesus from the dead dwell in you pause. Jesus rose from the dead. And when he came out of that grave, he came out of that grave. We're going to see scripture here in just a moment of what happened when he came out of that grave because he's life. He is a light. It can't keep him down. You see, he created this universe that we're in and he altered the rules of this universe. And he did it multiple times, but I'm going to talk about the power of the cross and what he did on the cross. And then we're going to talk about the power of the little things he did while he walked here on the earth until it was his time to go. So Paul is saying, listen, you know, he he died and this power, the spirit of him that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you. He that raised Christ from the dead, woke Christ from the dead, shall also quicken your mortal bodies. The mortal is liable to die bodies by his spirit that inhabits in you, dwells in you. Hold on a moment. Wait a minute. This mortal body can have life because what Christ did, the same power that's in Christ is in me and can do Whoa, hold on. Let's read that scripture one more time because I think it's worth it. Amen. But if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwelleth in you. Look at this verse 12. Therefore, brethren, we are not we are debtors, not to the flesh to live after the flesh. Let's continue on. Says, for if you live after the flesh, you you shall die. But if ye through the spirit do mortify or kill the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the spirit of God, they are sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear. But ye have received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, "Aba, Father." Understand there's a lot in the scripture, by the way. A lot. Understand this. This is very, very important. We have the same spirit in us that's in Jesus. Well, one, he breathed into our nostrils to bring us life, did he not? He made us in his image. Man was made in his image and then he made female from the ri which then she protects the man. The whole another teaching. I've done that. You can go check it out. Here's the thing is if we have that same spirit in us, this mortal body, if we kill it, and we're not talking physical killing, we are talking spiritual killing. When you do that, you live. What happens is the moment you confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, guess what? You kill this body because you're telling this body, you're dead because I believe in Jesus who has already been raised from the dead. He is raised from the dead. And that's the same spirit that's in us. Now, I want you to understand something here. Jesus altered the rules as he went along. I hope you get this. This is so neat. This revelation, you see, he altered the rules. If you died a sinner, you were supposed to stay dead. That's just the way it is. And hell was made for sinners. It's made for places like the devil. But you see, God sent his only begotten son and says, "I need you to go save the people." And Jesus says, "I will go do it." So when he died because he had to and his blood went on the mercy seat and he so powerful he made this universe. He popped right out of that grave as a man with a new body

because in the beginning was the word. He was spirit but that spirit came into the universe. He created. So when he said, "Let there be light," there was light. Imagine when you were a child and you made forts and you had all the sheets and blankets all around like all over the living room and your mom comes and go or you do it all over your bedroom. You have your friends over, you guys are just crawling around. I mean, and it's just so much fun to spend time playing in forts. Uh I can see the joy of Jesus wanting to enter the creation he created because it is so much fun. You get into that fort and you get to live whatever way you want. So if you have you put the sheet over here and you blocked off this path, guess what? You're in control of your universe. You pick up the sheet and move it and change it around. Now you have a path to crawl through. Jesus did that. Wait, how did he do that? Well, he did it raising from the dead because he came out alive. And well, we're going to see more scripture on that. But I want to show you another incident of when he did it. This is so neat. Matthew 14:24-33 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed or tortured with waves, for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went unto them walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit. And they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, "Be of good cheer, or have courage. It is I. Be not afraid." And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, "Come." And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw or he became, he perceived the wind boisterous around him. You know, he was afraid and beginning to sink, he cried out. He cried saying, "Lord, save me." That word save there means deliver, protect, heal, preserve. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught or seized him and said unto him, "Oh, thou little faith incredulous or lacking confidence, wherefore dust thou doubt?" You know, why did you doubt? Why did you waver is what he's saying? And when they were come unto the ship, the wind ceased. Then they that were in the ship came and worshiped or prostrate oneself adored him, saying, "Of a truth, thou art the son of God." And they became believers very, very quickly. But Jesus altered the rules. You see, he just finished preaching to a multitude. He sent the multitude away. He sent his disciples to go to the other side. And he decided to go up to the mountain to pray. I love that. He didn't care where he needed to go, what direction. He didn't care if he had somebody there or food. He stopped knowing that there's a storm and his men are in that boat that he told them to get into. And there he is on the top of the mountain praying. Now, let's get a visual of this for a moment because this is an image of what Jesus does today. He's in the high place sitting sitting at the right hand of God on the throne there and he's praying for us. He's interceding on our behalf always. That's what Jesus is doing. Well, Jesus was doing that and then he came down off that mountain and decided to go join his disciples by walking on the water to the ship.

I'm pretty confident not one person in this world can walk on water. And so, the only person who could walk on water that day was who? Jesus. And then Peter said, "Well, if you're Jesus, call me to you." And Jesus said, "Come." Peter gets out of the boat and starts walking over like, "Hey, you are Jesus." And then all of a sudden he becomes aware that he's on water and he starts to sink and he says, "Jesus, save me." Spoken out loud word and immediately Jesus grabbed a hold of him and brought him up. So this is a type of what we can see Jesus and how he handles us today. We can see that Jesus altered his universe to do something he needed to do, which was to show us what it would be like when he's in heaven and we're still on earth. This was for us. I mean, I'm sure Peter was thrilled to be like the only other man that could ever walk on water. And then, you know, I'm sure he kind of didn't want to share the part where he almost sank. He's just sharing the part, woohoo, I walked with Jesus on the water. So, here you have a just one sample of the illustration of all the things that Jesus has altered on this universe. And by the way, that altering occurred afterwards. Philillip, great guy. Go look at him. Go read about him in Acts. you will find that he's suddenly there to minister to a unic who's reading Isaiah and he's curious who is this Isaiah talking about. So, Philip ministers to him, witnesses to him, ends up accepting Jesus as his Lord. He baptizes him. When he comes out of the water, Philip's gone. He's gone on to another town instantly. It's uh he's not there. And again, you're seeing the alteration of the universe. You see, sin came into the world. So, we're supposed to die, but Jesus said, "Nope, I'm going to change the rules." And he changed the rules, which means we don't have to live as fear or in fear that we're going to die any minute after now or any time because we have the authority in the name of Jesus. Every time we say Jesus save me or Jesus you are Lord and you speak that out. Jesus is in the midst of your situation and he's seizing you out of it, taking care of you or altering the things going on around you. So let's take a look at the death of him on the cross and what he did because again he altered the rules. He changed the rules. When you die you're supposed to stay dead. Remember he raised Lazarus from the dead. So he demonstrates when he is risen from the dead. And look what it says in Matthew 27:50-53. Jesus when he cried again with a loud voice. He's up on the cross yielded up or sent forth his ghost or the ghost and behold the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom and the earth did quake and the rocks rent and the graves were opened and many bodies of the saints which slept dead arose. That word slept means dead arose and it came out of the and came out of the graves after his resurrection and went into the holy se city and appeared unto many.

I I laugh at that because imagine having Aunt Martha's funeral. you just had Aunt Martha's funeral and you know a few days later you're sitting there having um you know lunch or snack or you're working with your animals whatever here comes that Martha walking up to your home and just like the men were on the ship they saw Jesus and they were troubled or they were is that a ghost and you see Aunt Martha and you you're stunned Because see, that's not normal. That's not what this world or how this world operates. However, Jesus changed the rules. And by the way, the same spirit that's in Jesus that can change rules means that same spirit that is in us can change those rules, too. Now, let's go to Romans 8:1 and2. There is therefore now no condemnation, no verdict against us to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. You see what happens the moment you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You are spirit. You are no longer in this flesh. This flesh is dead. You crucified it and it's been crucified on the cross with Jesus. It's a goner. The flesh is dead. And because Ro uh Hebrews 9:27 or 9:23 says, you can go look it up which one it is. I think it's 9:27 says uh every man's appointed to die once. Well, guess what? If the rapture is going to happen in this generation, does that mean Paul's a liar with what he wrote in his Bible? Because we don't die, we go in the rapture. On the contrary, he speaks the truth. Because every believer out there has already died to this flesh, to the rules of this world, to the laws of this land. We're not obligated to that. I want you to catch this in your mind. I need you to understand that you have the right and the authority to alter the universe around you. You don't have to be sick. Seriously, you don't have to be in a financial s situation. Seriously, this is for reals. The Bible tells us that the same spirit that's in Jesus is going to raise us up out of that grave. So, I love it with Paul when he quoted, I think it's Joel, he quoted, he says, and I could be wrong about that. You go look it up. Oh, death, oh death, where is your sting? Yeah, where is your sting? I'm alive for eternity already here in this flesh. This is just my beginning footsteps because as a believer in Christ, I have the beginning of the power and the authority of the name of Jesus. I can alter my universe, which means I get to speak a spoken word over whatever the situation circumstance is.

So, and we live by the spirit. We're choosing by the spirit. Verse two, for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. So you can see these two laws. Law of sin and death is what the law of this world came to be when Adam and Eve fell. So you had to die. Every generation dies. Everyone's dying. And eventually you do whether you do it at the age of two days old or at the age of 150 years old, everybody dies. But when you become a believer in Christ, Jesus says, "I altered the rules." Guess what? You're now living by the law of the spirit and you're already dead because you no longer have this flesh holding you back because you're walking in your spirit. Your spirit is manifesting. You see, when he says you have the keys to the kingdom of heaven, and he says, "Whatever you bound on earth is bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth is loose in heaven." He's showing us that heaven and earth, spirit and physical are related to each other. And what manifests in the spirit is going to manifest in the flesh. So if you're a bitter, hateful person who isn't walking with Christ because you're walking in the flesh because you're in anger, you're you're going to manifest the sicknesses and diseases related to hate and bitterness and anger. That's the concept of this. But if you being um in the spirit of Christ are calling out blessings and forgiveness and saying, "I'm going to forgive that. I choose to forgive that. I'm going to forgive myself because I'm already dead because the Lord has saved me. And because he saved me, none of that ever matters. Whether I was right or wrong, it doesn't matter. I'm forgiven. And because I'm forgiven, I get to alter the universe my body lives in. I get to walk in liberty, in freedom from sicknesses and diseases. I have that right because I'm in the spirit. That's what I hope you guys are catching here. Now, let's go to look at verse uh 11, going back to our opening scripture. But if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwells in you. You see, we have this ability to have the manifestation of the spoken word in us. We have a powerful tongue. And if we're confessing Jesus as our Lord, let's go read Romans 10:9. Says that if thou confess, acknowledge with my mouth, the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe or have faith in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved, delivered, protected, healed, preserved. So the moment you say, Jesus, save me, like Peter did in the water, Jesus is obligated to save you. He wants to save you. He loves you that much. He's going to save you. So, he's going to get you out of your circumstance and situation. And by the way, there are many, many, many testimonies that tell you how many people spoke the name of Jesus and their situation changed. And I just I love hearing some of these testimonies. There's a a former homosexual man who, you know, he he thought it was funny. He I love his testimony. When he was uh gay, he he kept saying, "It's not a sin. It's not a sin." And he went and looked it up in the Bible to find out. And when he found out what the Bible actually said, he confess Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He's a man now that ministers to the homosexual homosexual uh comm uh community. He's ministering to them. Why? because he's telling them, listen, I believe the way you believe that it's not a sin, but guess what? It is, and I didn't want to go to hell, and I know you don't want to go to hell. So, he's ministering to them. He altered the universe around him. He called on the name of Jesus, got saved, his life changed because it's a mental thing. You're dealing mentally with this kind of stuff. He altered the way he thought. He went from the flesh to the spirit and he's letting people know there is a God. He's real and he's coming back. Now, does that mean he's this perfect creation? No. But I know that after he got saved, he lost his job. Woke is all in its finest hour there. And he had to lose his apartment. But he called on Jesus. And all of a sudden, he got a podcast going. He got an apartment. People were donating to him. You see how the Lord moves just in that testimony. His name is Richard. You can go find him on Tik Tok and I'm sure you can find him. But I remember because I I've been praying for that community, the LGBTQ plus community. I pray for wokeism, Black Lives Matters. I pray for these. that I know that my prayers are altering the universe because it's allowing the spirit to move forward because see prayer works because what did he say? I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe that God raised him from the dead. How do you believe that God raised someone from the dead? Well, you start talking about Jesus and you can't see him. That's faith. Look at this. Says uh with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe or have faith. And what is faith? Things hoped for that we can't see yet. That's how God operates. He operates with faith. So for me, I'm altering the universe. I pray over my mom and I declare the name of Jesus. This is why I believe there's a testimony coming out of here. Lord's not done with her. And you know, I'm not praying, by the way, asking that she live forever. I I want y'all to understand. I don't want her to die this way because cancer is from the devil. That is a sickness and a disease. That's an attack on the physical body. And it it's our faith that has to rise up so we can be healed. And remember, Jesus not only healed by healing people, by laying hands on them or or anything like that. He would say many times, "Your faith has made you whole." meaning we have the authority to be made whole through our faith. So we I'm trying to teach this is why we're called the house of faith ministries trying to show you that when you speak the Lord Jesus that's what he says the Lord Jesus and believe that God raised him from the dead what does it say there it says you will be saved that word saved has multiple um uh definitions delivered protect healed preserved that is our blessing by saying Jesus is Lord Lord. Jesus, you are Lord over my mind. Jesus, you are Lord over my body. Jesus, you are Lord over every ache and pain. Jesus, you are Lord over sickness and diseases because he rose from the dead and he came out. That same power of life and authority is in you. All you have to do to alter your universe is to say, "Jesus, you're Lord. I have to trust in you. I have to give this to you. I'm not going to worry about it. I'm not going to stand another minute in this. This is yours. I'm going to let you deal with it because it is not by might nor by power, but is by your spirit." Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. I pray that this word is uplifting and encouraging to those who hear it, that they apply it, that they start calling the name of Jesus over all of their circumstances, and that they live by faith, knowing that they can alter their universe just like you altered the universe as you walked on this earth. Lord, we love you and honor you and praise you and bless you for you truly are mighty and faithful in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. God bless you and I will see you in the next message. Byebye.
