- REASON TOGETHER | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Isaiah 1:18 “‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord, ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; REASON TOGETHER Isaiah 1:18 “‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord, ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.’” From the foundation of the church of our Lord Jesus Christ, people struggled to define what to call it. The believers of the early church were not called Christians until many years later at a church in Antioch. Acts 11:26 “And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.” Before that, they were called the people of the way—for lack of a better name—since Christianity was never presented as a new religion that they were to embrace, but as a new and more accurate way into salvation. Acts 18:26 “So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.” Notice how Christian doctrine was based on reason rather than religious precepts; they explained salvation as an act of faith that was based on the fact that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day, and that He is now seated at the right hand of God, forever making intercession for all of us who believe in Him. 1 Corinthians 2:1-2 “And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony (mystery) of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” As you can see from our opening text, that God is calling us to reason together with Him, and not to the blind adherence of religious dogma. How does a person reason with God? Remember first, that reason deals with facts, so that we need to establish a protocol that is founded on undisputable facts to which we can relate. Though your sins are like scarlet: The fact is that we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. We can never reason with God from a perspective of equality, that would be pride, which would immediately cause us to be kicked out of His holy presence. James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” Some people get frustrated because they do not seem to get any answers from God when they go before Him in prayer. Psalm 51:17 “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart—these, O God, You will not despise.” These two Scriptures lay a solid foundation as to how we are to approach God in order to reason with Him. First, we must recognize that we are sinners, and that God is holy. Second, that if we come before Him with a spirit of humility and brokenness, He will not turn His back on us. They shall be white as snow: The second aspect has to do with the why are we coming before God. First let me say that, coming before God is always the best move that we can ever make, no matter what our circumstances are. But we need to understand God’s protocol and follow it if we are going to be able to reason with God. What I am saying is that some people only go before God when they have a pressing need that they themselves cannot fix. The problem with this approach is that they want to set the agenda as to what it is that they want to reason with God about. But God has His own agenda for us; He wants to implement in our lives a new way of living so that we can rise to His high calling, which is: Isaiah 1:16-17 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.” This is the context from which God issued the promise: Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. How many of us can keep God’s law? No one can! For it is written that All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean: How do we do that? Jesus Christ and Him crucified! Sound reasoning leads us to the fact that within ourselves we are incapable of doing that which is good; therefore, the only conclusion that we can reasonably arrive to, is that we are all in need of a Savior. Romans 7:18 “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.” So far, we learned that God is holy, and that those who follow God must also be holy. We are commanded by God to wash ourselves, and to make ourselves clean in order to follow Him. We are also told that we cannot even do that for ourselves; what a wretched condition we find ourselves in—we need a Savior who is able to deliver us from our filth and make us acceptable before God. Who is this Savior, and how does He saves us? Romans 7:24-25 “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!...” Jesus is our Savior because He died for all our sins. Hebrews 9:22 “And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.” Jesus is our Savior who not only died for all our sins, but He is also our Savior who cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Ephesians 1:6-7 “To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” So far reason has led us into the undeniable facts that God is holy and that we are not. That we are required by God to be good, but the reality is that we are not. And not only that, but that we are unable to be good by our own strength. We conclude then that without a Savior we are forever lost. Isaiah gives us the promise that: Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool, but only if we repent and accept His offer of forgiveness that can only be attained through Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, whose name is forever to be blessed! Isaiah 1:19-20 “‘If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat (be blessed with salvation) the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured (destroyed by your own sins) by the sword’; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” The spirit of pride is the biggest obstacle that keeps those who know that they need a Savior, from accepting Jesus as their Savior. We need to realize that it is the pride—and the proud—of this world that our Lord is coming to judge. Without Jesus as our Savior, we will fall under the coming judgment of God. For the preceding generations, their judgment came after they died without Christ. For it is written that: It is appointed unto men to die once and then comes the judgment. What is unique to our present generation—if this is the last generation before Jesus comes, as all signs point that it is—is that this generation will have to bear the judgment of all the preceding generations before it. Matthew 23:36 “Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.” So that this last generation will have to endure the physical punishment due to all the generations before it, while here on the earth, and then, be cast into hell and the eternal judgment that follows. So that there is a double incentive for those who are now alive, to repent and to receive the double reward of salvation and escaping the judgment that is soon coming upon all those who dwell on the earth, to test them. Isaiah 2:10-11 “Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.” According to Scripture, there are three major spirits that afflict all the inhabitants of this present-day world. 1 John 2:16 “For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” We learn by simple reasoning from Scripture, that the only way to overcome the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, is by dying to self and living with Christ, through the power of His unending grace. We also learn that pride is what keeps many from humbling themselves before God, confessing their sins before Him, and receiving God’s pardon that is available through our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. We learn as well that it is that spirit of pride that God will judge mightily at His soon return. If there was ever a time to renounce the spirit of pride and to enter into the Rock of God’s salvation, it is right now before God’s final judgment is unleashed! Isaiah 2:12 “For the day of the Lord of hosts shall come upon everything proud and lofty, upon everything lifted up—and it shall be brought low.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- CURSES | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Galatians 3:13 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’).” Top of Page CURSES Galatians 3:13 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’).” Glory to God for His redemptive power! In this lesson we will share with you a few points that all believers should know about curses and how they operate. Let us begin with the fact that curses are real, and that they have a real negative impact on those upon whom they land. Deuteronomy 28:20 “The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me.” The verse above is the summation of what Paul calls the curse of the law in his letter to the Galatians. Moses told the Israelites in Deuteronomy 28-30 , that God was giving them a choice between blessings and cursing, and that by their decision to uphold or reject the promises that God was giving to them—either by their actions or by their neglect—that they would place themselves to receive the blessings or cursing as a result of what they chose to believe. Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” There is n o in between when one belongs to God, and as it is written: The earth is the Lord...and all who dwell in it. Psalm 24:1 Matthew 12:30 “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” Let us ask this question from the New Testament perspective, Is the curse of the law active today against the human race? 1 Corinthians 16:22 “If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed (anathema). O Lord come!” Jesus Christ is the only One who has the power to redeem us from the curse of the law, so that all who are outside of Christ are still under the curse of the law. That is why Paul adds the phrase, O Lord come into those who do not yet know You so that they can be delivered from the curse of the law (interpretation mine). Paul knew that without Christ, who bore our curse on the cross—cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree—there can be no hope of redemption from all the curses stated in the law. From the New Testament perspective again we ask this question, Are all who receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord automatically delivered from all the curses stated in the law? Legally, yes! Practically, no! How do we know? Galatians 6:7-8 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” In practicality the nature of how the curses operate does not change, what changes is the legal rights of those who are still under the consequences of the curse of the law, but who have now been redeemed by Christ Jesus. Deliverance from the consequences of many of the curses has to be appropriated; we know some of the consequences are removed automatically when we get saved, while others are removed as we properly practice and partake of the sacraments, like water baptism and holy communion. Deuteronomy 28:60 “Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you.” Sickness and diseases come as the result of the curse of the law, when we get saved, we do not automatically get healed, although legally, we are already healed as soon as Christ comes into our hearts. 1 Peter 2:24 “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose striped you were healed.” In Christ—legally speaking—God does not consider us to be under the curse of the law any longer, but since God is not mocked, as long as we not having died to sins continue to live for unrighteousness, then the sickness and the diseases of the curse of the law shall cling continuously unless and until they are dealt with according to the Scriptures. James 5:14-16 “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save (deliver from the consequences of the curse) the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” Once in Christ, a way of escape from the consequences of the curse of the law is made available to the believer who wants to turn his/her life around so that they might live for righteousness sake. According to a book written by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond, who were considered to be pioneers in the deliverance ministry in the last century, there are eight basic laws that govern curses. For the benefit of those who are in Christ but still struggle with the consequences of the curse of the law, I will now list the eight principles that they believed and taught, govern all curses. 1) THERE IS A CAUSE FOR EVERY CURSE. Proverbs 26:2 “Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without cause shall not alight.” 2) SIN IS THE GATEWAY FOR THE CURSE. Genesis 3:14 “Because you have done this, you are cursed…” 3) A CURSE IS A SPIRITUAL PROBLEM THAT CANNOT BE REMEDIED BY NATURAL MEANS. Galatians 6:7-8 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows (seeks for a solution from the Holy Spirit) to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” 4) WHERE SIN REMAINS THE CURSE REMAINS. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn form their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 5) THE POWER OF A CURSE IS DEMONIC. Genesis 4:7 “If you do well (do the right thing), will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin (demons are the power behind the sinful act) lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” 6) THE LAW PROVIDED NO REMEDY FOR THE CURSE. Galatians 3:10 “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.’” 7) CHRIST REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW. Galatians 3:10 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’).” 8) THE REDEMPTION MUST BE APPROPRIATED. Genesis 22:16-18 “...By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice (and were willing to forfeit the most precious thing that you had in order to obtain the promise).” The eight points are quoted directly from the author, as well as many of the Scriptures he quoted to make his point, but the explanations in brackets which are not part of Scripture are mine. The name of the book is The Breaking of Curses, by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. Published by Impact Christian Books. Inc. We conclude then that curses are still part of everyday life for all who do not love Jesus Christ, and that for many who believe in Him, curses are still a part that affects them negatively. What then, shall a believer do, who wants to be freed from the consequences of the curses that he/she brought upon themselves by their lawless deeds, or about the iniquity that they have inherited by the lawless deeds of their ancestors, which still affects them today? Galatians 5:16 “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” How do we walk in the Spirit? Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no (curse of the) law.” To walk in the Spirit, one must walk in obedience to the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Works of the flesh are the mark of selfish ambitions, to which all of the curses are attached. All spiritual fruit leads to self-control which bear the mark of the flesh that has been crucified with all its passions and desires. Galatians 5:24 “And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” Spiritual fruit cannot be cursed because it is blessed by God. - THE FINGER OF GOD | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a taching showing God moved in awesome power to demonstrate to the nation of Israel and to the rest of the world that there is no God like Jehovah. But there was one element missing that God withheld from the prophets of old; authority over the underworld or the spiritual dimension, the original dominion that Adam lost over the spiritual realm when he failed to keep God’s Word. Top of Page Top of Page THE FINGER OF GOD Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero Published on 7/24/22 Luke 11:20 “But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.” The prophetic ministry of the Old Testament prophets was indeed a powerful one: Through Moses God provided food and water for thousands of Israelites for decades in the wilderness, after parting the Red Sea. Joshua brought down the walls of Jericho with the simple blowing of the trumpets, and in like manner, through many of the prophets and throughout the centuries, God moved in awesome power to demonstrate to the nation of Israel and to the rest of the world that there is no God like Jehovah. But there was one element missing that God withheld from the prophets of old; authority over the underworld or the spiritual dimension, the original dominion that Adam lost over the spiritual realm when he failed to keep God’s Word. Mark 1:26-27 “And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him. Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, ‘What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.’” The defining and distinct difference between the prophets of the Old Testament and the New Testament prophets and saints was the authority given to us over the devil himself. Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Notice that this authority of the finger of God is connected to us trampling under our feet. After recognizing this new dimension of authority in the ministry of Jesus over the spiritual realm, the Pharisees tried to nullify it by declaring the ridiculous idea that Jesus’ power over the demonic realm originated from Beelzebub or Satan himself. Jesus shot this idea down instantly. Luke 11:18 “If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? Because you say I cast out demons by Beelzebub.” It is really hard for us to comprehend the tremendous shift of power that occurred when Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead. When Lucifer was created, he was the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty; he was in Eden the garden of God and clothed with an armor of every precious stone: Ezekiel 28:12-15 . After God kicked him out of heaven and stripped him of his armor, Satan stole from Adam the first human, the dominion that God gave to Adam over the creatures of the sea and the fowls of the air and the cattle of the earth and the creeping things. All symbolic of the spiritual hierarchy that have rule over the earth. When Jesus died on the cross He stripped Satan naked and made a spectacle of him and all his minions. Colossians 2:13-15 “And you, being dead in your trespasses and the circumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him (Jesus), having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwritten of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having DISARMED principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (the cross).” After Satan’s humiliating defeat on the cross, all that was left to him is the lie that he is the deceiver in chief, and it is of his nature. He is naked and without armor, the only vesture left to him is the cloak of deception. The kingdom of God—the church—which Jesus established right in front of the gates of hell, exists to preach and to practice the Gospel of the kingdom of God with the demonstration of the power of the finger of God to expose and to dispose of demonic deception. Luke 11:23 “He who is not with me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.” Unity is the key for the exercising of this authority of the finger of God. Satan is a predator, the law of predatory behavior dictates that in order to steal you have to separate and divide. The five fingers on the hand represent the church five-fold ministry: The apostolic, the prophetic, the evangelizing, the pastors and the teaching ministries, all have to be in agreement with the teaching of Jesus, if we are not in agreement with Jesus then we are against Him. The foundation of the authority given to the church is in the victory of Jesus over Satan on the cross; spiritual warfare reveals the manifestation of that power as the church pulls down demonic strongholds over cities, families and individuals. Luke 11:22 “But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.” That is exactly what Jesus did to Satan on the cross, He overcame him and took away all his armor in which he trusted and then divided the spoils. That is what the churches should be doing today, sadly we are not. How many ministers begin their ministry in the church without a clue in how to drive a demon out of one of their members who is afflicted by the devil, let alone to challenge the principalities that wield power over the geographical areas assigned to their church. Luke 11:24-26 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes he finds it swept and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” There is a lot to learn from the above three verses about spiritual warfare. Scripture declares that there is no rest for the wicked. A demon without a human host to hide in is in continued torment, seeking rest and finding none. Demons will not stop trying to get a foothold inside a human host. There are ranks in the spiritual dimension and there is unity in their goal to find a place of rest. Interesting that Jesus tells us that demons see the physical bodies of their previous victims as their house. ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ Also, that those who have been delivered from demonic oppression have their house or life swept and put in order only to fall victim again to more and more powerful demonic strongholds. Matthew 12:39-42 “…An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here. The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here.” Jesus taught the above verses in Matthew right before the story about the unclean spirit finding no place of rest and getting higher ranking demons to help him. The truth is that there is no higher-ranking authority than the name of Jesus and that because of what He accomplished on the cross. His name is higher than Solomon’s Jonah’s and everybody else. ALL AUTHORITY is given to Jesus. The sign of Jonah and the finger of God all testify to the authority given to the church in the name of Jesus. Man made religion teaches how to sweep and clean the house. The Gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us how to come to the cross and die daily to self. Psalm 144:1 “Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle—My lovingkindness and my fortress, my high tower and my deliverer, my shield and the One in whom I take refuge, who subdues my people under me.” As long us our self-life is prostrated at the foot of the cross—dying to self and living for God—we are protected from the evil one, safe and secure in this hope: Psalm 8:6-8 “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen—even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas.” The original dominion that God gave to Adam in the Garden has been restored to us through the Last Adam—Jesus—when He rose from the Garden tomb. For our God has given to Jesus a name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow; even those of the highest-ranking creatures in all of the universe, for there is no other name under heaven by which a human can be saved. Psalm 8:3 “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained.” God’s handy work was demonstrated by Jesus while driving out unclean spirits with the finger of God and after dying for our sins on the cross Jesus completed His handy work by putting everything under our human feet. When Lucifer was created everything that comprised his entire personhood had a beginning. So that when iniquity was found in Lucifer all the wisdom, perfection and beauty that he had been clothed with was removed from him for it was not in his original nature, after he chose to be like God instead of being with God. When God created the physical body of Adam, He used clay to make the shape of the man, but nothing in the clay had, not even a hint of life in it. God had to provide the life for the man that He created, and that life was in the breath of God that went into Adam’s nostrils and became blood in him, for as Moses told us, the life is in the blood. All humans are made in the image of God and worthy of redemption because they carry within them a life that is eternal. The Scriptures teach that the phrase ‘The Finger of God’ refers to something so great and awesome in nature that only an all-powerful and all-knowing God could accomplish. Psalm 150:6 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” In your breath is the eternal life that God has given to you and God wants it back, not for Himself for He is not in need of anything. He is a God who loves to add goodness and to multiply blessings to all His children, but first we need to receive Jesus as our Savior so that we will be sure to spend eternity with Him. The life is in the breath and the blood is activated by the words that we confess: Romans 10:9-11 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, ‘Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.’” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- THE EFFECTIVE WORKING WORD | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 1 Thessalonians 2:13 “For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, Top of Page THE EFFECTIVE WORKING WORD 1 Thessalonians 2:13 “For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.” The Word of God has many functions, it created everything, sustains everything. But in a more personal level, the Word of God effectively works deliverance in those who believe in it. What is deliverance? Deliverance has to do with freedom. Since sin enslaves men, deliverance from sin is the act of being made free. John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free .” Since the Word of God is the embodiment of all Truth, those who believe in the truth of the Word of God are delivered from all their sins. Deliverance from sin follows three stages; we are immediately delivered, we are continuously being delivered, and we will be delivered. The reason the work of deliverance follows three stages is because we are being delivered completely, spirit, soul, and body. Let’s take a look at the spiritual aspect first. Our spirit can never die, for the spirit that gives us life originated from God, and like God it is eternal. In our mortal human nature we are considered dead in trespasses and sin, but death when referring to the spirit speaks of separation from God. When a person dies in their sins their spirit becomes separated from God for ever, that is what is called eternal damnation. When a person becomes born again, or born of the Spirit, their spirit is immediately regenerated and will never again be separated from God. Our spirit is delivered instantly the minute that we accept the Word of Truth. If we were to die a second after salvation our spirit would rise up to God in an instant. 2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” The only thing that our spirits need after we become born again is to feed in the truth of the Word of God. For a weak spirit, one who is not being nourished by the Word of God, is not strong enough to influence our souls to turn its back on its sinful ways. We need to realize that our spirits are either dead, that is separated from God, or alive in Christ through the born-again experience, there is no in between for the spirit man within each person. Not so for our souls, for they are always going back and forth depending on which spirit is driving them. When our spirit is inspired by the Word of God it motivates us to do good works. When we neglect spiritual nourishment, our soul is moved by the sensuality of this world, through the spirits of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, to do sinful things. That is why Paul is commending the Thessalonians for receiving the Word of God and is telling them this: Which also effectively works in you who believe. By using the word effectively works in you, Paul indicates that the deliverance of our souls is always a work in progress. Galatians 5:24-25 “And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” If we are born again, we live in the Spirit of God who made our spirit alive in Christ, so why not also walk after the Spirit of Truth that can also deliver our souls from the deadness of this world system? Our physical bodies will not be delivered until the day when the resurrection of the dead takes place. Even if we are born again, our bodies will continue to decline and decay with the passing of time, for the Word of God declares that: Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” So that in our everyday lives, the ministry of deliverance is the process of working out of our souls its dependency to the desires of the flesh, that is why the crucifixion metaphor is used, those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since crucifixion implies a slow painful death, that is what the separation from the desires of this world entails, a slow painful death. Matthew 26:38 “Then He said to them, ‘My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.’” The hardest thing for us humans to accomplish is the death of self. Our self life is who we are and how we see ourselves. But when how we see ourselves and who we are does not align with the Word of God, there is no other choice, our soul has to die to self or lose its reward. The effective working Word of God is the only power that can bring about such transformation in us. This is what Paul told the Thessalonians, When you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God. We cannot die to our self life until we realize that our lives are not our own, for they belong to God. Reason dictates that if we belong to God, our lives should be modeled after the Word of God. As we welcome the dictates of the Word of God for what our lives should be, that is we receive them as if directly from the mouth of God, that’s when the effectively works part sets everything in motion within us. 1 Thessalonians 2:14 “For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, just as they did from the Judeans.” Immediately the world around them began to persecute them, just as the churches that they had modeled themselves after were persecuted. The world will always persecute those who desire to fulfill the Word of God in their lives. Now why is that? Very simple, those whose desire is for the Word of God, which is Truth, cannot be lead stray by the deception of this world system. If you don’t move with the flow of the world you become an impediment to the flow of the world. John 15:18-19 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” Hatred from the world means that the Word of God is effectively working in us the transformation that God wants to accomplish in us who believe. 2 Thessalonians 2:13 “But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation (deliverance) through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.” Notice how the process begins with salvation, then sanctification by the Spirit, and all comes together by belief in the truth. Would you agree that the world is waging war against the Word of God? Here in the United States if a student takes his Bible into a public school building it would cause so much trauma to the local ACLU chapter that you would think that the end of the world had arrived. Just a lonely cross standing on a faraway hill causes enough distress to those who are under the influence of this world system, that they will not rest until they find a way to remove it. You cannot have such a disproportionate reaction to small things like those, unless it is because it offends the spirits of intolerance that are behind those who feel threaten by the presence of something that they know can delivered them from the power of those demonic influences. Think of it, that was us before we got saved, being moved by the desires of our flesh to lust after the things of this world, and to hate those who take a stand for the principles of life that are taught in the Word of God. And now as believers, are we going to tolerate these same demonic entities just so that we can be part of this world system? Of course not! But remember that deliverance from them requires us to fully commit our lives to the true teachings of the Word of God. Following with this threefold principle of salvation, sanctification and belief in the truth, we can take a threefold approach as well in our stance against these demonic entities. I call it repentance, renouncement and restoration. We repent before God for all of our sins, He forgives us and cleanses us from all of our sins. 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” We renounce the world and the things which are in the world. 1 John 2:15 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” Remember, we know that His Word is effectively working in us when the world hates us. And as we truly repent of our sins and renounce this world system, then the Lord takes it upon Himself to restore our souls to the divine setting that He originally created us to fulfill. 1 Thessalonians 3:13 “So that He may establish your hearts (souls– self life) blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- AND WE ARE NOT SAVED! | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Jeremiah 8:20 “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved!” Top of Page AND WE ARE NOT SAVED! Jeremiah 8:20 “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved!” Jeremiah had the hardest job of any of the old prophets; it fell upon him to tell the nation of Israel the bad news—their nation would soon be destroyed! Imagine telling the people today, what Jeremiah was commanded by God to tell the nation of Israel of his day. Jeremiah 8:17 “‘For behold, I will send serpents among you, vipers which cannot be charmed, and they shall bite you,’ says the Lord.” The glorious history of the nation of Israel was coming to a close. There was no other people in the entire history of the world upon which the Lord had bestowed so much honor and blessings. Everybody knew how God humbled mighty Pharaoh and forced him to let the children of Israel go, and after he changed his mind and pursued them, how God drowned his mighty army in the depths of the sea. The world of old also knew how the God of Israel brought the walls of Jericho down, and how He led His chosen children into the land that He had promised them for their inheritance. It was in the annals of the history of their world, how David and Solomon, under the mighty power of their God, had established a powerful nation from the seed of one man of faith—Abraham. And now it was all coming to an end, what happen to them? Jeremiah 7:3-4 “Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. Do not trust in these lying words, saying, “The temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord are these.”’” They were deceived by lying words! The Babylonians, who plundered the land of Judah, had a mighty army indeed, and many secular historians may say that Israel would have never had a change against them anyway. But according to God, had the children of Israel chosen to amend their ways, God would have caused them to stay in the land and dwell in it safely. But the false prophets of their day were telling lies to the people, We have the temple of the Lord in our midst, God will deliver us from our enemies like He always has. So that when Jeremiah came and told them the truth that their destruction was near, they totally rejected his message. Jeremiah 7:8-10 “Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit. Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know, and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by Me name, and say, ‘We are delivered to do all these abominations’?” There is a parallel here that applies to all the nations that have had to face their doom because of their sinfulness; due to pride, they refuse to believe that their mighty empire will be brought down because of sins that they have been getting away with—they think—for a long time. After the nation of Israel became divided, the northern kingdom retained the name Israel, while the southern half was called Judah. God judged the northern kingdom, allowed their nation to be destroyed and their people to be scattered to the nations, because of idolatry. You think that Judah, the remnant of the children of Israel that was left, would have learned and turned away from their wickedness after God warned them through His prophets—after seeing what happened to their brethren in the northern kingdom—but no, they had the temple and felt that they could get away with their disobedience and expected God to protect the house that was called by His name. Such was their foolishness, so they fell for the lies of their false prophets. Jeremiah 7:14-15 “Therefore I will do to the house which is called by My name, in which you trust, and to this place which I gave to you and your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh (God allowed the Israelites to be defeated and the ark was captured). And I will cast you out of My sight, as I have cast out all your brethren—the whole posterity of Ephraim.” Is amazing how they knew the history of how God had dealt with their forefathers; in their earlier and latter history God had made it clear to them that He would not allow them to continually provoke Him to anger without having to face eviction from their land. Jeremiah 7:19 “‘Do they provoke Me to anger?’ says the Lord. ‘Do they not provoke themselves, to the shame of their own faces.’” We are living under the same conditions today, but God will not be dealing with just one nation and one area of land at this time, He is coming back to deal with the entire earth and the nations that inhabit it. Revelation 3:10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” There are many Scriptures that tell about the final days of the earth, before God’s judges the world and all the peoples for their idolatries. Psalm 97:3-5 “A fire goes before Him, and burns up His enemies round about. His lightnings light the world; the earth sees and trembles. The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.” It is abundantly clear that a majority of the nations of the earth have decided to scrap the Judeo-Christian principles upon which they were founded—not to mention the nations that never embraced it—and have accepted the new morality of everything goes except what the Bible has to say. We see this taking place at every level of society today, where the old foundations of morality are being done away with, in an open display of revolt and contempt against the Word of God. Psalm 2:1-3 “Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, ‘Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.’” The fact that the nations of the world are doing exactly what God told us in His Word thousands of years ago, that they would do at the end of days, proves that we are the last generation before God’s Kingdom is established on the earth for the one thousand years reign of Christ. If we look at the parallels from the history that we have been studying, three things become prominent; first, false prophets and false teachers who distort and pervert the Word of God, will lead people into believing that God is not going to bring any distress against those who embrace the new world order of morality founded on secular humanism. Psalm 2:5 “Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress (bring tribulation to) them in His deep displeasure.” Secondly, the misconception that those who are part of the church, any church, will not have to endure the wrath of His displeasure. Revelation 3:15-16 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” Just like the children of Israel that thought that they were safe since they were the guardians of the temple—and could live any manner of life that they chose—so will the members of the Laodiceans church at the end of the age, feel safe and secure in their compromising of the Word of God and Christ’s divinity, without fear of the coming judgments, that in their hearts they do not even believe are coming. The Philadelphia church keeps the Word and does not deny the name of Jesus or His divinity, so therefore, they are taken out of the earth before the hour of trial begins, not so for the Laodiceans, they are left behind. The third thing to look out for, has to do with the paralysis that un-dealt with idolatry brings upon the churches and the peoples that, are sincere with God, but in many cases are not even aware of the contamination that occurs when they participate in traditions that have been handed down to them, which are not based on biblical principles. Jeremiah 8:22 “Is there no balm in Gilead, is there no physician there? Why then is there no recovery for the health of the daughter of my people?” False demonic doctrines and traditions within a church, will always cause the lack of spiritual growth, as well as becoming a hindrance to the physical health of those who knowingly or unknowingly practice it. Revelation 2:20, 22 “Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things (participate in demonic doctrines) sacrificed to idols...Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their sins.” We, as believers, have the responsibility of studying the Scriptures, and it is up to us to make sure that what we are being taught through the church, evangelists, or through different ministries, is founded on sound biblical principles that bring life into our souls. If it is truth from the Word of God what we are hearing, the Spirit of God within us will recognize His own anointing upon what its being taught and will use it for our benefit and for our enrichment. If we see the church compromising the Word of God, we do not have to be part of their compromise. We decide by our actions which church God sees us as being part of. If we keep God’s Word and do not deny the deity of Jesus, Jesus will keep us from the hour of testing, no matter what denomination or church affiliation we are part of in the natural. It is also our responsibility to study the traditions that have been handed down to us, through the prism of the Word of God. If we find that they have a foundation in God’s Word, we should learn how to do them properly and in accordance with what the Scriptures teach us, so that we do not miss out on their benefits. However, if they have no biblical foundation, even though they may be well established within church tradition, chances are that they are not from God and will end up doing us more harm than good. Revelation 3:13 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” It is by listening to the Holy Spirit that we can make sure that we are saved and that we will not be left behind. - TWENTY SIX HUNDRED EVENINGS AND MORNINGS | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents the mystery of the cycles of 26 that are found within time and space. Top of Page TWENTY SIX HUNDRED EVENINGS AND MORNINGS In this section I am going to try to explain the mystery of the cycles of 26 that are found within time and space. The Mayan calendar is based on the earth’s 26,000 year cycle, there is a claim that every 26,000,000 years the earth goes through some kind of catastrophic event, and I know that there is a 2,600 days cycle that has to take place before we enter into the millennium (1,000 years of rest) era, according to the book of Revelation (Read the details in my book Man’s Final Destiny www.houseoffaithministries.org . Books section). I was astounded when I put together the numbers that correspond to time and space and the fruit of them and added them together, to find out, that we were short of 1,000 by the number 26. Therefore, I believe that time and space will come together when their fruit is completed, in a cosmic conjunction in the near future and start the 2,600 days countdown that will lead us into the 1,000 years Day of Rest. I will start by laying the foundation of what I believe the Bible teaches is how our present time and space began, where it came from and how it will end. In the chart below I show what I call Infinity Time as a river without beginning or end, an endless flow that is infinite of course. That is the dwelling place of God. Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change.” James 1:17-18 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. According to Einstein’s mathematics, within this infinite flow it is possible for time-warps (cycles of time, or a wheel within a wheel of time) to occur which I show in the chart as Eternity Time. It originates out of infinity, it is caused by the voice/word of the Father of the Heavenly Lights, and when the cycle is completed it dissolves back again into the infinity it came from, but it brings back with it a kind of Firstfruits, a brand new product that did not exist before. Just like a swift swirl in the water draws into itself and swallows as if it were, whatever falls within its circle of influence, so it is with eternity time. We can see this cyclical action repeated endlessly in the galaxies within the universe. In the next chart I show the interaction between the material physical dimension that we are part of, and the invisible (without substance) spiritual dimension. Their interaction determines the laws by which creatures are drawn into this cycle of time and are eventually accepted or rejected into the river of infinity. We begin with the present, what we are today is a direct result of the past, that’s the spiritual law of sowing and reaping, and our actions today will influence greatly what we will be in the future, but always within God’s permissive will which is connected with God’s spiritual destiny, be it for an individual, a nation or the cosmos itself. The past originated out of infinity and will end in the future when this present cycle of eternity comes to a close and it merges back into infinity. Another way to see it in a less personal form is in the next chart. Our present time flowed out of infinity, is a three dimensional cycle of time called eternity and flows back into infinity again. It creates within its interactions a past and a future in accordance with God’s destiny (His purpose for creating this vortex of time to begin with). Now to the numbers: Most agree that our present time began with a flash point, some call it the big bang, the Bible says that it began with God’s saying: “Let there be light.” In both cases our present time and space began with a flash of light. As we read in James, the Everlasting Father of Lights spoke the Word of Truth and brought forth a physical dimension for His firstfruits creatures to dwell in. In the next chart the flash point is represented as the center of the vortex, the beginning of time and space. In Genesis God divides time into six days of work (product) and one day of rest. Moses the writer of Genesis tells us in Psalm 90 that a day is like a thousand years to God. I believe that an hour represents one generation within those thousand years. Genesis 2:4 “These are the generations of the heavens (space) and of the earth (time) when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made (Spoke: Let there be light [flash point]) the earth and the heavens (space-time).” Italics mine So the number for Time is the number Six: six work days in a week, Sixty minutes in an hour, and since in Eternity Time there is an imbalance between the future and the past: the vortex rotates forward (future) faster that backwards (past), it creates a force we call torque or gravity. The number for this force called Universal Gravity is 6.67. Meaning that we are .33 short from this vortex of time and space becoming stable (entering into rest = 7). This will happen after the cycle of 26 is completed. The number for Space is the number Ten: Actually the number One with as many zeros added to it as long as it continues. I used the number Ten because that’s how many individual numbers there are. The number for Space is also the number that the speed of light travels: 186,400 miles per second. What connects Time and Space together is that: One (1) day has 86,400 seconds. The number for the Product is the number: 144, because there are one hundred and forty four generations in six thousand years of time and space. 144 hours contain 8,640 minutes, which connects the product to time and space. In Revelation chapter seven, after the opening of the sixth seal, we see this conjunction take place as 144,000 are sealed unto the Lord from the twelve tribes of Israel and a great multitude which no one could number is standing before the throne of God. That signals the beginning of the 2,600 days cycle that will usher humanity and the cosmos into the Day of Rest. Time: 667+ Space: 186.4 + Product: 144 = 997.4 + 2.6 = 1000 Day of Rest. Isaiah 34:8 “For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, the year of recompense for the cause of Zion.” 1 Year = 52 weeks times Jubilee 50 = 2,600 weeks. One seven year period has 2,555 days: 365 X 7 = 2,555. It will begin with the Two Witnesses prophesying for 1,260 days, the Antichrist will kill the Two Witnesses and let their bodies lie in the street for three- and one-half days, after which they will come back to life and are taken up to heaven. At that time the Jews that remain will flee to the mountains and as they do so time will stop. When evening comes the sun will not set until those fleeing enters into their place of refuge. Five evenings and mornings will be completed before the Antichrist begins his reign of 1,290 days. The Two Witnesses prophesy for 1,260 + 5 + 1,290 = 2,555 days. According to Daniel God adds 45 days for His final judgment which then will complete the 2,600 days cycle: 2,555 + 45 = 2,600 days. At the end of the 2,600 days Jesus will commence His One Thousand Years Reign. Time and Space will be in harmony during His Reign. All dark matter will be removed before His Reign begins. All the negative forces which are at work today causing havoc and chaos will be locked away, and the vortex of time and space will stabilize and the sorting out of the product that has been brought in during the season of work will be finalized. At the end of the thousand years the final judgment will take place and Eternity Time will be swallowed by Infinity. 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

- ARE WE THERE YET | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Jude 24-25 “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING ARE WE THERE YET? Jude 24-25 “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.” I have, for many years, tried to imagine what it would be like to know that the return of our Lord was imminent, and I often asked myself these questions, How would I react? What would I do, if anything? Where would my emphasis be? I have gone in my mind from the scenario of getting all my family together in one place while we anxiously await for Jesus to appear in the clouds to take us with Him, to the thought of what type of fate would be left for my dog and my bird, if it were to happen that they get left behind after we are raptured? The one question that always seems to reign supreme is this one: What will my response be as my mortality is overwhelmed by His holiness? I believe that the main reason why God gave me a vision of the rapture the early morning of February 12, 1989, was so that I could have a very personal understanding of this basic question. Jesus is able To present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Imagine the myriad of feelings that we all would be experiencing if we knew with certainty that we were about to meet Jesus face to face. In my vision, the holiness of Jesus made every cell in my body become unglued, my body was trembling so violently as He was approaching me that it became undone, my mind was trying to decide what to do in the face of such overwhelming feelings of joy and fear, but my spirit just began to shout, Hallelujah He kept His promised, the closer that Jesus came the louder that my spirit got, as I kept repeating, Hallelujah He kept His promised, over and over again, till I was raptured. You can read about the entire vision in the opening pages of my book Man’s Final Destiny, in the books section of houseoffaithministries.org In our opening Scripture we get to see the other side of the equation, and it is amazing to see that Jesus is just as excited as we are if not more, for we are told that He is coming after us with Exceeding joy; do you remember how Scripture tells us that for the joy that was set before Him He endured the cross? Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” So that in reality, Jesus is a lot more excited to meet with as than we are to meet with Him, for in our frailties we fear His holiness, yet He is so eager to reveal His grace to us and to present us faultless before His glorious Father who gave us to Him as His bride for eternity. Once we understand that our humanity, along with its many frailties is not an issue to Him, for He understands us perfectly, then we can put our emphasis on what we really need to do in order to be ready at His appearing, let’s not forget that not all of the virgins were ready. Jude 20 “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” In my vision of the rapture it was my spirit who took charge, for the promises of God are spiritual, and my spirit who was made alive by the Word of God, and was baptized, plunged into the Body of Jesus by the Holy Spirit back when I became a born again Christian, immediately recognized that Jesus was just fulfilling His promises, therefore I was able to shout Hallelujah, He is just doing what He promised that He would do, and there is no doubt in my spirit-man that He will keep His promises, for it is the Holy Spirit in us who knows the mind of God. How do we build ourselves up? How do we prepare ourselves for His coming? We believe within our hearts that what He promised in His Word, He is able to fulfill, that is how our faith becomes most holy, that is, separated from the circumstances around us. Then we can pray in the Holy Spirit, and He will reveal what the will of God is for us. We know that God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and since God has not appointed us to wrath, then we are praying His will for us when we ask Him to take us out before His day of wrath is set to begin. Let us make sure that we know the Word and the promises of God for us in Spirit and in Truth, not only in our minds, but within our hearts as well, live it out, let His promises become real to you, and when the time comes, they will not let you down, for His strength will be made perfect in whatever weaknesses remain in us at the time of His coming. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Read the promises, hear the promises, see the promises, believe in the promises deep within your hearts, do not let doubt anywhere near them. Jude 21 “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” God’s promises will keep us in His love and looking for His mercy. Once we become settled in the fact that because we have repented and confessed all our sins before Him, and have accepted His forgiveness for all of our sins that the atoning blood of Jesus purchased for us, we keep ourselves in His love by looking for His mercy to be revealed to others as well, for if He is not willing that any should perish, then neither should any of us be willing to let those around us perish for lack of the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for them. It is hard to preach what we are not practicing, but if we truly believe that the return of our Savior is imminent, and we are preparing ourselves for His soon return, then telling others about the blessed hope that we are eagerly awaiting and expecting should be relatively easy for us. Jude 22-23 “And on some have compassion, (doubters) making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.” Some of the people that we will be targeting for prayer before the Lord returns, family, friends, acquaintances, will have different issues that they will be dealing with, that when the return of Jesus becomes evident might prevent them from calling on the name of the Lord to be saved. To the doubters we speak the Word of Truth, we simply show them God’s promises being fulfilled right before their eyes, that was how Thomas stopped doubting when confronted with the evidence that Jesus was alive and standing right before him. Revelation 6:16 “And said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!’” When the awesomeness of the Lord is revealed to the nations before His judgments begin, the natural human response will be fear, a fear that will drive the populace to run to the bomb shelters, away from Him instead of running to Him. That is where we come in, if we know which promise of Scripture to direct them to, and if we have been praying for them like we should, then the Holy Spirit has already prepared their hearts to receive our message, for that is how everybody gets saved, people start praying for them and then those who proclaim God’s Word to them reap the harvest. Joel 2:31-32 “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved…” We convert the doubters with the truth, Jesus may seem like an alien to them, for they do not truly know Him, but to us Jesus is our confidence and our salvation, our peace and our refuge, a refuge into which we invite them by explaining to them that they must repent and call on the name of the Lord out loud if they want to be saved. The sinners are converted by their fear, they know that the wrath of the Lamb is imminent, real, and weighting heavy upon them, in their trembling we reach out to them with the Gospel, and by doing so it will be like pulling them out of the fire of hell itself. But we must be convinced of what we believe if we want to be effective, this is why first responders train over and over again in realistic situations, so that when faced with a real emergency their training takes over and they do their jobs without been overwhelmed by the situation or circumstances that they are faced with. For us, our spiritual training involves us constantly praying in the Holy Spirit, driven by His mercy towards us and others, and out of our deep desire to be with Him for ever and ever. Genesis 5:24 “And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” Jude 14 “Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints.’” The return of the Lord will be a very real event, it will take place very soon, maybe sooner than most realize. All the true believers (those who keep His Word and have not denied His name/deity) will be taken up with Him in the rapture, but many who call themselves Christians will be left behind, this is what the Bible says right now to the Christians that will not go up in the rapture if it were to take place today. Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” The Laodicea church is told that: Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—I counsel you to buy from Me gold (salvation) refine in the fire… Revelation 3:17-18 There is a church that has closed its doors to the Lord, is the Laodicea church, and Jesus is knocking on their door right now, He is telling them that without Him they have nothing, for they are naked, blind, and poor. It may be that these are some of the people that will be converted when Jesus is first revealed before the rapture takes place, maybe that the only way that they will hear Him knock is when the see Him in the clouds. If you have been trusting in man-made religious traditions, they will not suffice when the sky recedes as a scroll and the wrath of the Lamb is ready to be unleashed. Now is the time to open the door of your heart to the trustworthiness of His promises, to embrace His deity and the inerrancy of Scripture, just look around you, we are living in the end of the age, do not be swept away by their demonic deluge of lies. Jude 4 “For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.” Back to End Times Teachings
