  • EVERY KNEE | HoFM House of Faith Ministries

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 1 Kings 19:18 NKJV 18 Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.” Top of Page Top of Page EVERY KNEE Written by Lisa Kane 5/23/21 1 Kings 19:18 NKJV 18 Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.” Submission affects your daily walk with God and you need to ask yourself, who is your knee (submission) bowing to? As you can see from 1 Kings 19:18 that God ‘prevented’ seven thousand in Israel from submitting unto King Ahab and Jezebel’s ‘government’ rule during that time, and Elijah, a prophet of God didn’t know that God reserved seven thousand. Yes, those of us close to God don’t know all of whom and what God has preserved. 1 Kings 18:22 NKJV 22 Then Elijah said to the people, “I alone am left a prophet of the Lord; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men. Again, Eljah thought he was alone. Are you a believer who dwells in the secret place and feel like you’re the only one praying out there? You can trust God and know that there are many others out there praying too. If there weren’t, you can read in the Bible about the generation before Noah’s flood (Genesis 6:5), and Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19). This entire world would already be destroyed otherwise. Thank God people are believing and praying. And since we’re here, it means there are believers who are praying or who have not submitted their knee unto the darkness of this world. If you’re reading this and you’re not one of those believers/prayers set aside by God, you need to thank God for those that are. Then you need to ask yourself why are you not praying? Who’s knee are you bowing down to? Where does your submission lie? Because you can easily be one of those set aside by God. Eljah had power because he did not submit unto the demonic entity called Baal like four hundred and fifty other prophets did. Baal ruled the government at that time. I don’t know what dark demonic entity is ruling our government today, but when there are more homelessness, more drug addicts, more murders, more abortion, more evil than good, it’s an evil darkness that’s currently ruling our government. I can assure you that if you do not have power in your walk during this darkness, maybe your knee is bowing to Baal or some other entity and you don’t know it? Or maybe you know it. I have news for you that do know, your knee must submit unto Jesus! Hallelujah! But if you don’t know, maybe you voted for someone who is lying to you and supporting something like abortion. God hate’s abortion. That’s murdering innocent blood and through that deception, you support this evil entity. But there’s good news for you , God is merciful and as long as you ask for forgiveness, you will be delivered/saved. But here's something to know, even if you kept your knee bowed to anything other than God, your knee will eventually bow down to God: Isaiah 45:23 NKJV 23 I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, And shall not return, That to Me every knee shall bow, Every tongue shall take an oath. Romans 14:11 NKJV 11 For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.” Philippians 2:10 NKJV 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, Why is it important to place your knee directly before God and not through other entities, such as governments, principalities, trust in other people, etc? You are at war and you are responsible for holding back the power of darkness. How do I know this? Because you were given the name of Jesus and by that name, ‘every knew should bow’. Keyword – SHOULD ! When they’re not, that means you’re not using your authority. Let’s identify those areas of darkness that you have the authority over as a believer in Christ who has asked God to forgive his or herself. Ephesians 6:12-13 NKJV 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a ]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. When you don’t bow your knee to others, and you bow your knee to Jesus, you have authority direct from the name of Jesus and can overcome governments, principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places. Yes, you have the authority to do this in Jesus’ name. You become a part of God’s army and you can affect the outcome of this world’s governments and powers. This world’s powers are darkness and you are the light in God’s army. Read Philippians 2:10 again and pay attention. Philippians 2:10 NKJV 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, ‘ at the name of Jesus’: when you are bowed before Jesus, you have the authority to say His name and have the authority to place ‘those in heaven, ‘those on earth’, and ‘those under the earth’ to ‘bow’ before His name. Those things must submit to God. So once you say it out loud, calling out those entities and telling them to bow before God, ‘STAND’. Place a smile on your face and wait for God to move. Because that darkness must submit. Realize this, God is training you for warfare. Start learning. Start using His Name. The Holy Spirit will teach you and it starts with you placing your knee before God and submitting unto Jesus. Once you do that, you come into your authority of His name and the darkness must submit unto you when you use His name Jesus! I’m standing now. Will you tell darkness to bow itself to Jesus? Once you do, we’ll be standing together. Take these steps and let’s stand together! HALLELUJAH! More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THE RESURRECTION | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on the resurrection from the old testaments point of view. Top of Page THE RESURRECTION: From the Old Testament Perspective Job 19: 25-27 “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself and my eyes shall behold, and not another.” I wonder how many of you have heard, as I have, that the teaching about the resurrection the dead is something that is unique to the New Testament. In countless historical TV programs that deal with the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), we hear all the time that the devil is a creation of the New Testament writers and that the resurrection from the dead is something that is unique to the Christian Bible. I guess they overlooked the book of Job somehow. First Job says that his Redeemer lives, we could say that he is referring to God in heaven, but then Job adds that his Redeemer shall stand at last on the earth. Here Job is implying a resurrection from the dead, on the earth, at the end of times. Then Job goes on to say that after my skin is destroyed, meaning the physical deterioration of his body after his death, he says, this I know, meaning this is not just some conjecture on his part, that in my flesh I shall see God. If his body is destroyed how could he possibly see God in his flesh unless he Job, is physically resurrected from the dead. But wait there is more; whom I shall see for myself and my eyes shall behold, and not another. Job says it will not be in his spirit that he will witness that, but in his flesh, I myself he says and not another. So that in the oldest book of the Old Testament we find the main character testifying to the physical resurrection from the dead at the end of times, and boldly declaring that he, Job himself, will be part of that glorious event. Genesis 22:8, 13 “And Abraham said, ‘My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering’...Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in the thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.” Genesis 22 begins with the words, God tested Abraham. What was Abraham being tested for? God tells Abraham to take his son, the son whom you love, to a certain place and there kill him and offer him as a burnt offering to God. When Isaac astutely realized that the only thing missing for the burnt offering was the lamb, he asked his father Abraham, where is the lamb for the sacrifice, to which Abraham responded, God will provide for Himself the lamb, even though he knew that it was his son Isaac that he was going up to sacrifice. Romans 4:20-21 “He (Abraham) did not waiver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He (God) had promised He was able to perform.” There is no other conclusion but that what Abraham was being tested for was none other than his faith in the physical resurrection from the dead. Abraham had to cross a threshold in his heart that if he killed the son of promise that God had given to him, that God would have no other choice but to raise Isaac from the dead, in order to fulfill His promise to Abraham that through Isaac all the nations would be blessed. John 8:56 “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” When did Abraham see Jesus’ day? When he lifted (up) his eyes and looked. By faith Abraham saw the cross and rejoiced, before he saw the ram that was caught in the thicket by its horns. So that not only did Job believed and testified to the resurrection from the dead, but we see also that faith in the physical resurrection from the dead was an essential part of God’s covenant with Abraham. And is all written there for us in the Old Testament. How could they miss it? What were they thinking? Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead shall live; together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.” Isaiah gives us an even more amazing insight into the physical resurrection from the dead in the verse above. In the original Hebrew the three words used for “dead” are all different and have different meanings associated with them that gives us insight into what the prophet was trying to convey to us. Your dead shall live: The word translated dead at the beginning of the verse is according to Strong’s concordance # 4191 Muwth and it means To die and it refers to man, or body. So that when it says that your dead shall live is referring to the physically dead human bodies that will be resurrected at some point in the future. My dead body: The next word translated dead is according to Strong’s concordance # 5038 Nbelah and it means Carcass and it can be applied to a human or a bestial carcass, often collectively, meaning that in most instances it applies to both. The meaning of the context is very clear, My dead body is in reference to a sacrificial carcass that is in nature both human and animal, as in the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world, amazing! The earth shall cast out the dead: The last word translated dead is according to Strong’s concordance # 7496 Rapha’ and it means the dead or deceased in plural. It comes from the root word # 7495 Raphah and it means to mend, to cure, cause to heal, to make whole thoroughly. Oh what a beautiful picture of the resurrection from the dead we get from the prophet Isaiah. How one verse of Scripture, in the Old Testament mind you, can reveal so much, centuries before the actual resurrection of Jesus from the dead took place. Luke 17:37 “...Where there is a dead body (carcass), there the vultures will gather.” NIV Jesus seems to imply, according to what Isaiah wrote, that those rapture will be gathered together to His sacrificial body that was resurrected from the dead. Daniel 12:2 “And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contemp.” I close with Daniel’s version of the physical resurrection from the dead in the Old Testament that reveals that is not just the righteous that will be resurrected, but what the New Testament also teaches, that at some point all the unbelievers will also be resurrected and will go physically into everlasting contemp. Which brings us to the message of the resurrection; there is life after death, not just life, but physical life as well. Eventually all who die will be resurrected, can you imagine having immortality and having to spend eternity in reproach and contemp. Is there anything in this whisper of time that we have while here on earth, when compared to eternity, that is worth you having to spend eternity away from God’s comfort and love? I am not asking you to become religious, I’m just asking you to get right with Jesus. Make Jesus your savior, why don’t you make Jesus your Lord today, I can guarantee that you will never regret it, never, ever. • CREATURES OF THE FOURTH DIMENSION | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) makes the case that it is the place and not the state of our similar natures, (humans and angels) that makes all the difference. Top of Page CREATURES OF THE FOURTH DIMENSION Ephesians 3:14-19 “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Have you ever wonder why God made us different than the angels? In the New International Version footnote for the word translated “family” it shows that it could also be translated as “fatherhood” since after all God is the creator and Father of all the celestial creatures as well as all the earthly creatures. Let us compare the two and see what it is that truly separates us humans from our heavenly counterparts. The first obvious difference is that we humans are mortals and that the angels are not, but that is not really true, for as far as God is concerned all humans are still alive to Him even after they die. Death to a human is separation from the physical realm and its dwellers, but not separation from God or the sovereignty over which He rules. When a human dies he/she is carried by the angels to one of two places: Heaven (light) which is the place from where God rules, or Hades (darkness) which is the place where incarcerated souls await the Day of God’s Final Judgment. But even Hades falls under God’s jurisdiction and all its dwellers and rulers are subject to God’s laws and decrees. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 “So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home (physical realm) in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body (the physical realm) and to be present with the Lord (in the four dimensional spiritual realm called the kingdom of the heavenly lights. James 1:17).” There is still no difference between humans and angels in this matter concerning the fact that not all humans make it to the presence of the Lord in Heaven but rather many end up in Hades, for it is the same with the angels, not all of them are in God’s presence, for one third of them ended up in the Abyss as well. Jude 6 “And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode (the kingdom of the heavenly lights), He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.” So if God’s celestial creatures share the same qualities of free will that we humans possess, and have the capacity to err the same as we do, then what makes us so different? I will make the case that it is the place and not the state of our similar natures that makes all the difference. The angelic creatures abide in a four dimensional spiritual realm while we humans occupy a three dimensional physical realm! All living humans can be redeemed from the errors of their way before they enter the fourth dimensional spiritual realm through death’s door, meanwhile those angelic creatures which erred in the fourth dimension can never be redeemed. You see time is the fourth dimension and we humans who are physically alive are bound to “the present” and have not yet entered the future eternity that awaits us all. That is what makes us redeemable, while the angelic creatures already abide in eternity and basically do not have any future left to them other than the one they have already chosen for themselves. Psalm 8:4-8 “What is (physical) man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen — even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas.” In the three dimensional realm that we occupy we are able to move forwards and backwards, side to side and up and down, but always within the confines of the present; past and future are always out of our human reach, that is the meaning of us being made a little lower than the angels (three is lower than four), for in the fourth dimension, past, present and future interact in a manner that is difficult for three dimensional dwellers to fully comprehend. Hebrews 13:8 “ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians was that they: may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height of the workings of this four dimensional realm since that is where our Lord lives and where we are going to be when we depart this physical realm. Unlike the angels who did not get a second chance when they erred, we humans are in training if you will, being prepared to attain a higher order of existence where we can freely operate in the realm of being the same yesterday, today, and forever. Ezekiel 28:14-16 “You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you. By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and you sinned; therefore I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God; and I destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones.” From the fall of Lucifer we learn that the angelic creatures were created to occupy and operate in the four dimensional realm where past, present and future went back and forth in the midst of fiery stones and interacted as one unit. They were like us created in the image of God with free will, and as soon as they sinned they were cast out and barred from access to the knowledge of God’s plans for the future and were disabled from interfering with the past; since spiritual creatures cannot die, God destroyed their ability to operate in the midst of the fiery stones. Hebrews 12:28-29 “Therefore, since we are receiving a (four dimensional) kingdom which cannot be shaken (interfered with), let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.” After the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai for six days, the Lord called Moses on the Sabbath to enter into the midst of the cloud on top of the mountain which looked to the Israelites as a consuming fire. The typology is clear, mortal men are bound by time present until they enter the Sabbath Day of Rest, then we will be able to move in the midst of the fiery stones that are at the center of time itself on the mountain of God where our God’s throne is in the fourth dimension. Exodus 24:16-18 “Now the glory of the LORD rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. The sight of the glory of the LORD was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel. So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.” I believe Moses walked into the center of time itself, and from that four dimensional perspective he was able to see the entirety of man’s history as it unfolded from beginning to end, writing down only that which he was told to write as he gazed at the wonders of the panoramic view of the history of all mankind from creation to its final conclusion. Matthew 17:1-3 “Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.” Look a the similarities; this event took place after six days or in the seventh which symbolizes the Day of Rest, they were led to the top of the mountain just like Moses was, and the face of Jesus shone like the sun which looks like a bright consuming fire. What I believe happened here was that when Moses fifteen hundred years earlier, stood at the center of time itself and gaze at the future and was looking into the days of Jesus’ ministry, Jesus went up to the mountain and opened a porthole into the past that allowed three of His disciples to meet with Moses and Elijah, therefore transcending time and space. Jesus simply put, took His three disciples into the fourth dimension. Jesus was not showing off, He was teaching them! Luke 9:28 “Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.” Luke’s account differs from Mathew’s and Mark’s in that it does not say “after six days” but puts the emphasis on the number “eight” which is the number for new beginnings. Luke 9:30-31 “And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of His decease (departure back into the fourth dimension) which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.” Because of the work that Jesus accomplished on the cross as He died, and His resurrection from the dead after the third day which is referred to as the firstfruits which implies a new beginning; there is now an open door into the fourth dimension that is available to all the saints who die to self and are raised with Christ. Hebrews 4:3 “For we who have believed do enter that rest…” Hebrews 4:10 “For he (the believer) who has entered His (Jesus) rest has himself also ceased (transcended) from his works (bondage to time) as God did from His (six days of creating).” Ephesians 1:17-20 “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand (at the center of time it self) in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 2:4-6 “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” What does it all mean? John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” Since death and decay are traits of the third dimension and life eternal is the gift offered in the fourth dimension, and we, by virtue of His grace have already entered life (passed from death), that simply says to me that we are now qualified to operate in the fourth dimension. Now here is another typology that will help us to put our trust in the veracity of God’s Word. Daniel 3:25 “Look! He answered, ‘I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.’” If you’ve read or heard the story of the three Hebrew children who refused to bow down before the golden image and how they were thrown into a fire that was made “seven times” hotter than usual, you might have missed the typology of this event. I believe the spiritual meaning of this historical event is that there are three Hebrew Prophets who were taken into the center of time (seven dispensations) itself by the Son of God, and were allowed to view human history in its entirety from beginning to end so that they could have an understanding of it, but only write about what they were told to write. These three Hebrew prophets were none other than Moses who brought to us the revelation of The Law, Paul who brought to us the revelation of The Gospel, and John who brought to us the revelation of The End of Time. This is what Scriptures tells us about the ministry of Moses: Numbers 12:6-8 “Then He said, ‘Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream. Not so with My servant Moses; he is faithful in all My house (past, present and future: Remember that He is the same yesterday, today and forever, that’s where God lives). I speak with him face to face…’” This is what Scriptures tells us about the ministry of Paul: Galatians 1:11-12 “But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me (Paul) is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ (the Son of God).” This is what Scriptures tells us about the ministry of John: Revelation 4:1 “After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me (John), saying, ‘Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.’” The spiritual meaning of all of this is that humans who dwell in this three dimensional realm have access into the fourth dimension as it has been clearly portrayed in Scripture. Which leads me to ask this question: Is this access into the fourth dimension available to all humans or just a privileged few? And what is the mechanism needed to achieve such a feat? Let’s look at the Scripture verses that I started with and change the emphasis to see if they answer the questions that I’ve just asked. Ephesians 3:14-19 “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Remember that the comprehension that Paul is praying about is that they may be able to understand the nature of the four dimensional spiritual realm (width and length and depth and height). And Paul’s prayer is that God would grant that ability to them the Ephesians, because it is available to all those who believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which includes all the saints. That clears up the first question; it is available to all the saints but not all humans. What about the mechanics of it? “To be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.” To be strengthened means to be empowered and to increase in vigor (the revelation is progressive); might means ability that comes through His Spirit therefore the requirement to be born again saints who are born of the Spirit of God in the inner man (and is comprehensive towards), those who are born again through faith. That “Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.” What that means is that every born again believer has been empowered with the ability to increase in faith in the inner man through the revelation that the Holy Spirit gives to us as we place our beliefs in God’s Word; that’s what increases our faith. That brings us into what our motives ought to be when we operate in this new (to us) realm. “Being rooted and grounded in love.” John 14:22-23 “Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, ‘Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world (unbelievers)?’ Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (fourth dimension) with him (in the inner man).’” Luke 17:21 “…For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” The right motives is the key, if our motives for operating in the fourth dimension are not rooted and grounded in God’s love nothing is going to happen! This part of the lesson is probably going to be the hardest one for me to explain, since I am still struggling to understand what the Scriptures are clearly teaching us, that we have been empowered with the abilities to transcend time and space. Job 23:8-12 “Look, I go forward, but He is not there, and backward, but I cannot perceive Him; when He works on the left hand, I cannot behold Him; when He turns to the right hand, I cannot see Him. But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside. I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.” The difference between angels and humans is that the future of the angels is already set, while ours is not. From God’s perspective the lost angels are lost forever, the lost humans are not. Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” There has to be a good reason why God made us a little lower than the angels, according to Job it was this: “He has tested me” What did Job mean? What was he being tested for? In the context of the testing Job said that he was unable to perceive God within this three dimensional realm of back and forth, right and left and not knowing what his future was in God: Job 23:3 “Oh, that I knew where I might find Him, that I might come to His seat!” Job 23:17 “Because I was not cut off from the presence of darkness, and He did not hide deep darkness from my face.” This is what I believe: In order to operate successfully in the realm of being the same yesterday, today and forever, one must like Job: “I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food” Treasure God’s Word and the Spirit of Love above all else; let me explain: My actions here in the present always have consequences, good or bad; is called the law of sowing and reaping also known as cause and effect. I learn from my triumphs as well as my failures, that is what I am tested for here, where I have many second chances, since in the fourth dimension failure is not an option, so that I must pass the test here and have my ability to fail removed so that when I enter eternity, my new nature could never be changed again. 1 John 3:14 “We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.” Think with me a second, if I could witness first hand the consequences that my wrong actions would bring on another human being, would I do them any way? If I could witness the pain, feel the suffering and taste the bitter tears that my actions would cause another to suffer before I commit them, would I relent and do the right thing? Or would I satisfy my selfish desires and wrong others anyway? You know as well as I do that there are some who would do others wrong any way, because they love themselves more than those they hurt, or because the circumstances require it: “Is either them or me” It is in our human nature to be self-centered. That is why a new nature is required! John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’” Let’s try to imagine what it would be like to live in such an environment where we can have instant access to what the possible consequences of our actions would be before we did them. If everybody there would do what is best for everybody else, then there would be no more pain, no more suffering, no hate, no fear, no animosity, we would all live in perfect harmony. Revelation 21:3-4 “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.’” Though we have already been qualified to operate in the four dimensional spiritual realm, it is through our actions in this third dimension that we are able to affect this present reality by infusing the qualities of the “age to come” into our surroundings. Sea, air, flesh and ground: “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen — even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas.” Adam and Eve were in Paradise and the dominion that they were given to rule over transcended time and space for it was a four- dimensional dominion. Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." However, there was one thing that they were lacking, they had to be clothed for they were both naked, they had to choose to be clothed in the inner man from either the fruit of the tree of life or from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. After they failed the test they were driven out of their four dimensional perch. Read the chapter titled First Adam’s Paradise Lost in my book Man’s Final Destiny for the details of how Adam and Eve failed to trust in God’s word: Posted here . John 17:1-5 “Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: ‘Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh (physical three dimensional realm), that He should give eternal life (past, present and future life) to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You (remember how Job was unable to fully know God in the three dimensional realm), the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the (four dimensional) glory which I had with You before the world was.’” I conclude then that the first Adam was never able to fully enter into the dominion power for which God had originally created him, because of his inability to eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life. Therefore all humans were confined, because of Adam’s failure, to a three dimensional existence that excluded the physical eternal life of being the same yesterday, today and forever. I emphasize that Jesus the last Adam, did that which the first Adam was unable to do, that is; He divested Himself first of all of His previous glory and became naked, both literally on the cross and metaphorically in the life He lived confined to a three dimensional realm, and totally and completely trusted God’s Word, even to the point of becoming the sin bearer for all humanity and taking all those transgressions upon His body and nailing them to death, even death on the cross. Once He died He was left at the mercy of the One who made the Promise: Psalm 16:10 “For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.” What a wonderful God we serve! He demands complete trust to His Word, and then He, by example, show us that veracity and trustworthiness of God’s Word as He Himself submits to every single one of those precious Words. This is that which transcends; faith, hope and love, and the greatest is love. The past cannot separate us from God’s love, neither does the future; maybe the present? NO! Romans 8:38-39 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” What is the thing that limits you today my friend? Do you have a stained past? Is your present like a hopeless dark dungeon? How do you see your future? Is it bleak and unbearable? In an instant your history, past, present and future can be re-written! How can that be you may ask? When a sinner appears before the heavenly court and confesses all his/her sins before that court, the judgment is rendered instantly, he/she is found guilty and the penalty is death. But if Jesus is your advocate and the reason that you are confessing all your sins before God’s court, then the penalty for all of your sins is atoned for by the sacrifice that Jesus offered before God’s court in your behalf. So that the life that you now live is a brand new life, your past is in the cross and your future is in His glory, and your present is HIM. You may have to endure some pain, but it will not be your pain it will be His pain, and what an honor it is to share in His pain! You may have to suffer some shame, but it will not be your shame it will be His shame that He endured on the cross, oh what a privilege it is to share in that shame! You may be limited somehow, but it will be for the sake of His unlimited love that is demonstrated through those who continuously die to self so that others may see the limitless Christ to whom we belong. Whether we know it or not all the saints already transcend time and space, for we are all seated at the right hand of God with Jesus: “Made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” But dominion is something that has to be executed, is an action taken by the saints on behalf of humanity. That is why we are commanded to bind on earth that which has already been bound in heaven, and to loose on earth that which has already been loosed in heaven. We can by our prayers and actions influence the course of history in accordance with God’s destiny. Psalm 78:41 “Yes, again and again they tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.” My aim in this writing is that we dare to expand our thinking and not limit our King and His power that He is so willingly eager to demonstrate on behalf of those who dare to believe in Him and in the power of His resurrection. Oh Lord You are beautiful, Your face is all I see, for when Your eyes are on this child Your grace abounds to me! More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THE DWELLING PLACE | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) shows the secret place is the most important place to be with God. He gets to know you and you get to know him. Top of Page Top of Page THE DWELLING PLACE Written by Lisa Kane 12/28/2020 Psalm 91:1-2 NKJV He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” It begins with you. What is it? Life, blessings, favor, glory, joy, peace, comfort, love, victory over sickness, victory over Satan, victory in the war and battles you face every day. When God decides to move, you need to be secured in Him to know what's going on and not get distracted or confused by what’s happening. Nehemiah 1:5-9 NKJV 5 And I said: “I pray, Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love [a ]You and observe [b ]Your commandments, 6 please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, that You may hear the prayer of Your servant which I pray before You now, day and night, for the children of Israel Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel which we have sinned against You. Both my father’s house and I have sinned. 7 We have acted very corruptly against You, and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, nor the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses. 8 Remember, I pray, the word that You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you [c ]are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations; 9 but if you return to Me, and keep My commandments and do them, though some of you were cast out to the farthest part of the heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen as a dwelling for My name.’ I saw what Nehemiah did and decided I needed to do the same because I can see the difference between God moving in others and not moving in me. So I entered the dwelling place. What is the dwelling place? The meaning of the word dwell from dictionary.com: verb (used without object), dwelt or dwelled, dwell·ing. to live or stay as a permanent resident; reside. to live or continue in a given condition or state:to dwell in happiness. to linger over, emphasize, or ponder in thought, speech, or writing (often followed by on or upon):to dwell on a particular point in an argument. (of a moving tool or machine part) to be motionless for a certain interval during operation. noun Machinery. a flat or cylindrical area on a cam for maintaining a follower in a certain position during part of a cycle. a period in a cycle in the operation of a machine or engine during which a given part remains motionless. Reading the definition after already having done this is absolutely incredible. The meaning of dwelling has two parts. The first part is the verb, action. You take the action to make the dwelling place. Remember what I said earlier, “It begins with you”. The second part is what happens to you when you actually enter this place…you become the piece that completes the puzzle, or you put yourself into God and you become part of the machine/engine (God) that makes the device move. But notice how it works, you don’t move but the device moves around you. You are secured and planted in the device that when things move, you are safe. In other words, when God moves you are in the right place. This also means the device won’t work unless you secure yourself in. How did I enter this place and how did I secure myself in? I had to create it first. How? I set some time aside and made a place where no one would bother me. Matthew 6:6 NKJV 6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you [a]openly. Get up and do it. Get into your secret place. It begins with you, and you need to get in that secret place. Once there, purify yourself by dealing with your sin. That means you need to ask God to forgive you of your sins. Joshua 7:10-13 NKJV 10 So the Lord said to Joshua: “Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face? 11 Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the [a ]accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff. 12 Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they have become doomed to destruction. Neither will I be with you anymore, unless you destroy the accursed from among you. 13 Get up, sanctify[b ] the people, and say, ‘Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, because thus says the Lord God of Israel: “There is an accursed thing in your midst, O Israel; you cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the accursed thing from among you.” You see, even if you have been having daily devotions and praying but nothing was moving or changing, then you need to deal with the sin because you cannot stand before your enemies until you remove the 'accursed thing' or sin. And you will stand before your enemies and you will win. Joshua won but it took losing several thousand men at first because they didn’t deal with the sin before engaging the enemy. How many battles have been lost? Are you done losing? Say this prayer out loud in your new found dwelling place: Dear Jesus, forgive me of my sins and come into my life and heart and be my Lord and Savior. I’m truly sorry for sinning. In Jesus’ name Amen! This dwelling place with that prayer puts you right with God and now He moves. He will begin to show you how he works. Notice what he gave Joshua after they sanctified themselves. He gave them a plan of action, a strategy to defeat the enemy. Imagine if you knew in advance what to pray for? That would be a victory of prevention. Yes, you can prevent the enemy from even making the first attack when you’re in prayer with God and praying in the spirit. 1 Corinthians 14:14 NKJV 14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. If you don’t know what to pray for in the secret place, let your spirit pray. He knows. Your spirit knows. If you don’t know how to speak in tongues, ask God for the gift and He will give it to you. It’s a tool all Christians need. After entering this place and sanctifying yourself, He will provide you with a plan of action on defeating whatever enemy you face, whether it’s covid, or another disease, or finances, or relationships…whatever you face, you won’t be defeated. You have the victory and it’s because of God. And keep entering this place setting yourself right with God. Speak in tongues and let the Holy Spirit move you. He will show you what’s going on in the world and you won’t be surprised by what happens. Remember, God wins in the end! • INDIGNATION AND WRATH | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Romans 2:8 “But to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath.” Top of Page INDIGNATION AND WRATH Romans 2:8 “But to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath.” God’s indignation is kindled by those who despise God’s grace. Imagine knowing that a great disaster is about to be unleashed and that the people that are on its path are not aware of it; so you make every effort to warn those who are in the place that will soon be destroyed that they need to escape—only to be rejected and scorned by those very people you are trying to save. Rejection is what makes God indignant and causes those who reject God’s free offer of grace to fall under the wheels of God’s wrath. God’s wrath comes as the result of reaping that which we have sown. Romans 2:6 “Who will render to each one according to his deeds.” The reality is that there are people who are stubborn and who will not listen to reason, now why is that? There are probably many reasons why people behave the way they do, but in our opening text God gives us the key that exposes the root cause for rebellion—those who are self-seeking. We may not be fully aware of this truth, but if we take a close and careful look in the mirror, it will not be long before we come face to face with our mortal enemy and find that—surprise— it is us! If we want to fully understand God’s grace, His wrath, His indignation, we have to view them from the perspective of our own mortality. Let’s face it—self-seeking is hardwired into every one of us; just look at an infant, when they do not get what they want or need, they let you know it right away, and in no uncertain terms. The grace of God teaches us, first of all, about the dangers of selfish ambitions. We cannot accept God’s grace unless we first acknowledge the fact that we are in need of it. Titus 2:11-12 “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.” Once we realize that we are our own worst enemy, and that God’s wrath will fall upon those whose deeds do not live up to God’s standards, then, the only logical conclusion that we are left with is that we are in need of His grace, so that we repent and accept His offer of forgiveness. But if after we have received His forgiveness, we despise His grace by continuously seeking our own selfish ways—after we’ve been delivered from the consequences of them—do we kindle then, His indignation, and fall back into the wrath that He worked so hard to deliver us from? Romans 2:4-5 “Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.” It is clear that Paul is addressing believers in his letters that he wrote to the churches. It is also clear that only those who are under God’s grace, are in a position to despise such grace. For how can we despise something that we have not personally experienced? Wrath in the day of wrath. God’s salvation has two basic components: Forgiveness and cleansing. 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” The theological terms are Justification and Sanctification. Justification happens instantly, as soon as we confess our sins before God in Jesus name, we are immediately forgiven. Sanctification is a process which begins the day that we are justified. This process is God’s mechanism to deliver us—cleanse us—from the consequences of all the sins that we have committed. The agent that God uses to bring about His forgiveness and cleansing in us, is His grace: For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age. In Justification we pass from death into life in an instant. The same grace that saves us, now preserves us, while the process of Sanctification takes place. In order to receive salvation, we have to ask God for it with a repentant heart. In the process of sanctification, we have to learn how to deny ourselves and live for God, by the power of His grace that sustains us. For we know that those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness fall under the indignation of God’s wrath. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Remember that salvation has two components, forgiveness gets us into heaven, and cleansing delivers us from the wrath of God’s indignation. 1 Corinthians 3:11, 13, 15 “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ (our salvation)...Each one’s work (selfish ambition or self-denial) will become clear; for the Day (of God’s wrath) will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is...If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss (cleansing from the consequences of their sins while on this earth); but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” Salvation is a gift which cannot be earned; those who truly repent and accept God’s grace and forgiveness of sins, are immediately justified and on their way to heaven. But while here on earth after we get saved, the grace of God teaches us to deny ourselves and to flee from all the worldly lusts and self-seeking that got us into the mess we were in before we got saved. Refusing to deny ourselves incurs God’s indignation and wrath in the day of His wrath, so that we miss out in the cleansing part. Matthew 10:39 “He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake (denies himself to receive the cleaning) will find it.” If we still go to heaven, what is it then that we lose? Every believer that dies goes before the Judgment Seat of Christ, which is a judgment of rewards or the forfeiting of them as we read in: 1 Corinthians 3:14-15 “If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” To the Corinthians Paul is talking about the works that those who were saved and died, built on the foundation of their salvation, and about what happens on the coming Day of judgment that will reveal whether those works were the result of self-seeking or self-denial. But what Paul is talking about in his letter to the Romans is what happens in the Day of His Wrath to those who are alive when He returns to the earth, and finds them doing their own works instead of being sanctified to do the Lord’s work. Luke 12:46-47 “The master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.” Notice first, how Jesus considers the servant to be a believer who was unprepared and not looking for His return. After cutting him in two, He assigns that servant a portion with the unbelievers, which is to be beaten with many stripes. What did Jesus mean by cutting him in two? I believe Jesus was referring to the separation between the justification and the sanctification of that wicked servant. He was still considered a saved servant who belonged to Him. But since he did not prepare or sanctify himself for His master’s return, he must suffer punishment before he is restored, which is the indignation of God’s wrath. His portion with the unbelievers means that he has to go through the wrath that those who rejected God’s free grace must go through, but God will save him after his many stripes are completed. If we read Revelation chapter three where the fate of the last two churches is decreed by Jesus Himself before His return, we find that the Philadelphia church is spared from the hour of trial—wrath—that is coming upon the whole world to test those who live in the world, because they kept His Word and did not deny His name. Revelation 3:8, 10 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door (the rapture), and no one can shut it; for you have little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name...Because you have kept My command to persevere (through sanctification), I also will keep you from the hour of trial (God’s indignation and wrath) which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” Then we read about the Laodicea church, and we see a different story. Revelation 3:18-19 “I counsel you to buy from Me gold (sanctification) refined in the fire...As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten (discipline). Therefore be zealous and repent.” The good news is, as of this writing, the rapture has not taken place yet. Jesus’ offer to be zealous and repentance is still available to all who believe. It is never too late to start denying ourselves for the sake of Jesus Christ and for the glory of His Gospel of peace. What ever it is that our self-seeking is gaining for us in this life is not worth losing the eternal rewards that follow faithfulness to the Word of God. There is no comparison between a few years and eternity. All that we possess will be left behind the day that we are taken away from this earthly realm. There are no u-hauls attached to the hearse. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. Let us make haste, for Jesus is coming very soon. • THE MANIFESTATION OF HIS PRESENCE | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) explains when you promise to manifest yourself to someone, it means that you will reveal yourself to that person and not to others. Top of Page THE MANIFESTATION OF HIS PRESENCE John 14:21 “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” When Jesus uttered these words to His disciples it became immediately clear to them that Jesus was making a very special promise to them. When you promise to manifest yourself to someone, it means that you will reveal yourself to that person and not to others. Because if everyone can see you there is no need for you to reveal yourself since you are already visible to everybody. John 14:19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.” It is within the context of Jesus leaving them and promising them that He would reveal Himself again after His departure, that this conversation is taking place. And it prompted this question by one of His disciples: John 14:22 “Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, ‘Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?’” It is obvious that the disciples wanted to make sure that after Jesus left them, that they would be able to know how and where they could see Him again. Now for those of us who never had the opportunity of meeting and serving Jesus before He went to the cross, these passages of Scripture are very important, for they detail how we can also experience the personal manifestation of Jesus after His resurrection from the dead. Jesus gives us a very important key in verse nineteen: Because I live, you will live also. As we read the previous chapter Jesus is clearly telling them that where He is going they cannot follow, because He is going to the cross to die for their sins. But then He says to them, because I will live, you will live also, meaning I will die for you so that you can live, and if you are willing to die for My cause, you too will live to see Me again. John 13:37-38 “Peter said to Him, ‘Lord, why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for Your sake.’ Jesus answered him, ‘Will you lay down your life for My sake? Most assuredly, I say to you, the rooster shall not crow till you have denied Me three times.’” Peter understood the part about dying for the Lord, but he failed to understand the part about living for Him at that time. How many Christians have given their lives for the sake of our Lord’s Gospel this past year alone? It's not easy to die willingly, but for most of those who have given their lives for the Lord, they just did not have the choice to continue living for Him, and they surely were not willing to deny Him, that is why they were killed. Now we know from Scripture that those who are martyred for the sake of their testimony of Jesus are immediately welcome into His glorious holy presence. Talk about manifestation, those who remain faithful to their confession of faith in the face of imminent death, cannot help but to see the fullness of Jesus’ glory revealed to them as Jesus joyfully receives them into the fullness of His joy, before their bodies even hit the ground. But for those of us who remain the lesson is very clear, if we want to see the manifestation of Jesus in our lives we need to die to ourselves. What it really comes down to is love. John 14:23 “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.’” I hear so many people say how much they love someone, but by their actions that sentiment is betrayed. Can persons that abandon their spousal or parental obligations for the sake of following their own self interests really say that they love the ones that they are leaving behind? This is what Jesus has to say about that: John 14:24 “He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” From God’s perspective true love can only be manifested by our commitment to carry out our obligations to His Word. We can say how much we love God all day long but by our actions we will be judged. Matthew 11:19 “The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is justified by her children (the eventual manifestation of her good works).” And the consequences of our actions work both ways, if we are doing what is right and people falsely accuse us of doing wrong—like they did to Jesus—eventually those who do right will be proven right, and those who do wrong will be proven wrong. But those who do wrong will not experience the manifestation of Jesus in their lives, for those who do wrong, do so for selfish ambition and have not died to themselves. We are not talking about perfection here, for if only those who are perfect can expect Jesus to manifest Himself to them, then you can be sure that there will not be any personal manifestations any time soon. What did Jesus mean when He said: He who has My commandments and keeps them...If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word? Now let’s take a look at His words from the perspective of the imperfections of our human nature. When you show up to work everyday, can your boss really say that you are the perfect worker? Even in the remote possibility that you were the perfect worker, they would never say that about you, for if they did, they would have to give you a raise. Ha, Ha! This is what an employer is looking for in an ideal worker: that he/she shows up on time, every time, all the time. That he/she has a general knowledge of what they are expected to do, and a willingness to do it. And that they have the capacity to learn and to progress to a point where they get better and better at what they do. What are the ideal qualifications for a parent or a spouse? Does anybody really expect a husband or a wife or a parent to be perfect? I say not! But a husband is expected to be there for his wife, and the wife to be there for her husband. And how can a father or mother raise a child if they are absent? It is the same in our service to God! We do not get saved to continue in our own selfish way of life. Now that we are saved our responsibility is to the Word of God, to follow His commandments and to keep His Word. We are not perfect when we start, and we will not be perfect when we finish our Christian journey here on this earth. We will be judged by our faithfulness to His calling! Did we show up; in time, all the time? Did we show willingness to serve, and were we willing to change and learn new ways of living? If you work for a big corporation you may notice some apprehensiveness on the part of some of the workers when they know that the big boss is going to be around. That is how some Christians feel when the manifestation of God’s presence is all around them. If you believe that Jesus expects you to be perfect, it would be natural to feel uncomfortable when He manifests Himself to you. But what if He is just looking for you to be honest with Him? John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” Jesus does not really need perfect workers, does He? He does not even need any workers. What He is really looking for is for you and I to have a trusting relationship with Him. A relationship that is based in mutual love for one another instead of the dread of fear and failure. And there is no better place to have a relationship with Him than to share with Him in the things that He loves so much: He loves us! Humanity, He is for us, wants to be with us, and wants to be in us. He is such a gentlemen that He will not manifest Himself to us if it will make us feel uncomfortable. If we want His presence, then we must truly desire the manifestation of His presence. There may be some of you out there that feel that, perhaps you will never be comfortable enough around the manifestation of His presence. Maybe you were brought up to see our heavenly Father as a fearsome Judge instead of a loving Savior. But think about what is at stake here! John 15:1-4 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean (we need not fear our frailties) because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” After reading all these Scriptures I hope that you came to the same conclusion that I did, and that is that, intimacy with Him is not really an option, but the essence of life itself. That is if we truly want to be fruitful in our service to Him. The first step is getting down on your knees with a humbled and honest heart saying "Lord I don’t have much to offer you, but what little I have I give to you completely and irrevocably", then show up before His presence in the same manner, everyday, for the rest of your life. There is no greater joy than to have the privilege of experiencing the manifestation of His presence within the inner sanctum of our hearts.
