    Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING THEY SEEK THE DEAD THAT WILL NOT RISE Isaiah 8:19 “And when they say to you, ‘Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,’ should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living?” I believe that the main reason why God is going to bring total and complete destruction upon the earth and all its inhabitants during His Day of Wrath, is to rid it and its human population from the demonic infestation that in now present, both on the earth and on humanity itself, because humanity has opened so many doors to the underworld that there is no other way to cleanse the earth or its people. ​ Isaiah 24:5-6 “The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are desolate (held guilty). Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned (with the fire of purification), and few men are left.” During the days before the flood of Noah there was an opened door that allowed easy access between the humans that dwelled on the earth at that time, and the creatures that inhabit the demonic realm, the underworld, or the place of the dead, for the creatures that inhabit that realm are and will forever be separated from God, which is what real death is. Due to the fact that the humans of those days lived life spans of nine hundred years or more, it was easy for these demonic entities who are eternal, to manipulate the human genome for the purpose of creating hybrids through whom they could rule the world, since the physiology of these demons is not suited for them to operate here on the earth. So that they created for themselves a physical hybrid of human bodies that they entered into and indwelled for the purpose of ruling over the humans to whom it was originally given the dominium over the earth. Jude 6 “And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.” Genesis 6:4-5 “There were giants (nephillim, fallen or mighty ones) on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown (like superheroes who possess supernatural powers). Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Since demons, or fallen angels, do not have physical bodies with which they could impregnate a woman, the only way that they could have women bare them children would be through artificial insemination, demonic dna mixed with human dna to bring about a physical body that was suited for its demonic host. Daniel 2:43 “As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.” Daniel is prophesying about the end of time, our present day, where genetic engineering is a reality, and in Genesis we are told that not only before the flood this was taking place but also afterward, that is why human longevity was so drastically reduced after the flood. Imagine a time when women lived over nine hundred years, and were fertile for most of their adult life, conceivably they could produce children that are hundreds of years apart, a geneticist dream that would become a nightmare in a society hell bent in creating a race of monsters that are clad with superpowers that allows them to do whatever they wanted to, to a race of regular humans that would be at their mercy. That is why the world of old was destroyed, it was contaminated with a demonic infestation that caused the human race to, in the intents of their hearts, dwell on evil continuously, however it is said that Noah was found righteous in his generation. Genesis 6:9, 11 “This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect (blameless, without flaw) in his generations. Noah walked with God...The earth was also corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.” So that in the destruction of the flood, God removed the breath of life from every physical human body, hybrid or otherwise, and from every physical creature that had the breath of life in it, for the purpose of ridding the earth of the demonic infestation that was transmitted through the violent and corrupted air that they were breathing, and the violence that was enforced upon the humans by these fallen mighty angels. Only Noah and his seed, and the animals that God selected for the repopulation of the earth, were spared from the global cataclysmic destruction that rid the earth of the demonic infestation of that day. The length of human life was shorten drastically for the purpose of keeping the human generations that would follow, from being so drastically manipulated by future demonic infestations that would surely come as the result of man’s disobedience to the laws of God. Isaiah 26:13-14 “O Lord our God, masters besides You have had dominion over us; but by You only we make mention of Your name. They (the old masters) are dead (in everlasting chains under darkness), they will not live; they are deceased, they will not rise. Therefore You have punished and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.” These are the dead that our opening text is warning us not to seek when it says: Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? These hybrids will not rise from the dead on resurrection day, even though they had quasi human bodies, all those humans who died during the flood will rise from the dead on resurrection day, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12:2, but not them. Real humans have a soul, and all real humans will have to answer to God for the lives that they lived while on this earth, so that all humans that died will be resurrected and answer for their deeds while here on earth; as it is written: It is appointed unto men to die once, then comes the judgment. But these hybrids did not have a soul, for that was part of what was genetically removed from them, so that they could inflict massive pain and mayhem upon humanity at will, yet without a thought of conscience to bother them. Remember that it was said of that generation that their thoughts were evil continuously, that is how callous their hearts became under the demonic influence of those fallen angels. Today these demonic influences are alive and well here on the earth, courtesy of the mediums and wizards who whisper and mutter the old demonic doctrines through our present culture. The evidence points to an increase of cold blooded murders that continue to take place, extremely violent events seemly for no rhyme or reason. In many instances the perpetrators do not seem to have any sense of remorse whatsoever, and in many cases they have a blank stare that makes you wonder how deep have their souls plunged. Isaiah 8:20 “To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” If we go back in time to when the courts decided to remove prayer out of our schools, and ask the question of what was it that our children were praying for back then in their classrooms? I heard that their prayers were for the well-being of their parents, their teachers, and the leaders of our nation, that simple. It was not long after that simple petition was removed from our schools that we saw a steep decline in the well-being of the family unit, so that today, even the institution of marriage is under assault. The teachers and the quality of their teaching degraded so much that the decade of the sixties produced a generation of illiterate students that received in many instances a high school diploma that they could not even read. And what shall we say about the government and our elected officials? Not only did we lose a president, JFK, to violence in the sixties, but we also lost a war with thousands dead and hundreds of thousands of Americans injured, both physically and mentally. And can anybody honestly say that it has gotten better today? Right now our government is partially closed, there is a debt crisis looming that if it is not resolved our nation will default on its debt obligation for the first time in its history. But the worst thing that we are having to deal with is the hatred that its so rampant between Americans today; is it any wonder that the ones that are hated the most in our nation right now are those of us who believe in the Bible? For they do not want to hear what our last verse of Scripture told us, To the law and to the testimony! And that is because our nation is under the demonic influence of the same dead and imprisoned demons of long ago, whose doctrines of death have been brought to life because we as a nation have turned our backs on the sound doctrines of our Judeo Christian values upon which our nation as well as most of the western nations were founded. Isaiah 8:21-22 “They will pass through it hard pressed and hungry; and it shall happen, when they are hungry (for things to go right) that they will be enraged and curse their king and their God, and look upward. Then they will look to the earth, and see trouble and darkness, gloom and anguish; and they will be driven into darkness.” It is inevitable that our Lord has to come one more time to rid us and the earth of all these demonic influences that are destroying the very fabric of our society today, hopefully our waiting will not be long. Malachi 3:1-2 “Behold, I send My messenger, and he will prepare the way for Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He is coming, says the Lord of hosts. But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears?     Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING THE GREAT HARLOT Revelation 19:2 “For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” The book of Revelation follows a two-fold path; it brings forth separately, the spiritual perspective and the physical perspective of the matter that is being presented. For example, in chapters one through three of Revelation, we are given the physical perspective of the church age, while chapters four through six, gives us the spiritual perspective of the same church age. In chapter seven we see the conjunction of the spiritual and physical presentation of the church age, as God brings down its final conclusion with the rapture of the church and the resurrection of the dead. ​ Revelation 6:14 “Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up (the wall of separation between the spiritual and the physical realms is removed as we enter into chapter seven) …” Then we see the spiritual revelation of the ministry of the Two Witnesses in chapters eight and nine. And in chapters ten and eleven we see the days of their ministry through the physical perspective, so on and so forth: For the complete sequence read my book Man’s Final Destiny on the books section of houseoffaithministries.org web-page. The reason why I shared this is because there is a parenthesis that interrupts this pattern. It is found in chapters seventeen and eighteen, where God deals specifically with this entity whom He calls the great harlot, who corrupts the earth with her fornication. Revelation 17:5 “And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” Who is this entity and what is her function that God devotes two entire chapters in His dealings with her? Number one, she is a mystery. Something that has to be revealed or exposed in order to be understood. Number two, she is a spiritual power to be reckoned with: Babylon the great is symbolic of a powerful, all encompassing, mystery religion. Number three, she is the originator or mother of all the false doctrines, and of all the abominable things that corrupt the entire earth. What is the connection between this great harlot and the devil? Revelation 17:3 “So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.” The beast that this woman is riding on, is the devil himself. In this case John sees the great harlot riding the antichrist, whom the devil has fully possessed at this point in time. Revelation 17:8 “The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition…” The antichrist is the beast that rises out of the bottomless pit. His name is Abiram—which means exalted father—since according to Daniel he will exalt and magnify himself above every demonic entity called gods. Daniel 11:36 “Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god (demon/unclean spirit).” Let me take a minute to explain what is going on here. In chapters seventeen and eighteen, we see the culmination of this unholy and demonic allegiance between the devil and the harlot. The devil has never been popular with a majority of the people of the earth, at any given point in time. In order to be accepted by the populace, he cloaks himself with religious appeal, and through deceptive doctrines and corrupts the entire earth with his abominable teachings. In order to achieve that, he needed an army of demonic entities to assist him. These demons are called saints in order to appeal to the masses. For thousands of years people have worshiped the devil—the majority of them unaware—through religious rituals aimed to deceive those who practice them, into thinking that they were worshipping the real God. Thereby causing them to commit spiritual adultery through their idol worship, which is an abomination to God. Revelation 17:15 “Then he said to me, ‘The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.’” Religion and politics go together hand in glove, if the leaders of a nation can control and manipulate what their people believe, they can also control how their citizens behave! So as you can see the devil is heavily invested in the business of religion, for he is in the business of trying to control how people behave. The only problem with that is, that the devil has always hated having to share with his demonic cohorts the adulation that he feels should be only his, but without them he could not have deceived the world into worshipping him. After the devil possesses the antichrist, once he arrives here on physical earth—after being with him in the pit since the days of Moses—the devil does not need his old demonic hordes any longer, so he refuses to share with them the glory and adulation which he believes are his alone. He now, like Jesus, has a physical and eternal human body which he can present to the people. Unlike Jesus, he will force everybody to bow down to him and to worship his image, if not, he will have them beheaded, since he now presides over the governing authorities which have ruled over all the inhabitants of the world. Revelation 17:12-13 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.” The beast that you saw was, is a reference to the antichrist before he was taken down to the pit alive during Korah’s rebellion against Moses. Numbers 16:30 “But if the Lord creates a new thing, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the pit, then you will understand that these men (Dathan and Abiram) have rejected the Lord (have entered into their final judgment).” The ground opened up and swallowed all of them alive, and they all perished, they all died—except for the two men who insulted the Lord by not presenting themselves before the Lord’s Presence as Moses had required of them, that was the new thing that the Lord created that day. Numbers 16:25-26 “Then Moses rose and went to Dathan and Abiram, and the elders of Israel followed him. And he spoke to the congregation, saying, ‘Depart now from the tents of these wicked men (Dathan and Abiram)! Touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins.’” The reason that we can know with certainty that Dathan and Abiram are the false prophet and the antichrist, and that they are raised and released physically from the bottomless pit, is because when Jesus defeats them at His return, they are not killed—since they have already died and have been judged by God, so when they are captured, they are immediately thrown alive into the Lake of Fire which is the second and final death. Revelation 19:20-21 “Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse…” The only way that we can answer the question as to why the false prophet and the antichrist were not killed by the sword as the others were, is because they were already dead and judged by God, and in possession of their eternal physical bodies. Which by the way, is the selling point that the antichrist uses to deceive the many who will follow him, the fact that he cannot not be killed even after receiving a fatal blow to the head. Revelation 13:12 “And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.” The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And is not, makes it very clear that the antichrist in not in the world right now, for he will not ascend from the bottomless pit until after the rapture takes place, when the sky recedes like a scroll and the Two Witnesses come back to the earth to finish their ministry. Until then, the great harlot will continue to do the devil’s bidding on this earth. It is imperative for us to know who the real enemy is, and that he is behind every evil thing. Do not think that what may seem to us like harmless or old traditions as something that cannot hurt us. Proverbs 7:26-27 “For she (the great harlot) has cast down many wounded, and all who were slain by her were strong men. Her house is the way to hell, descending to the chambers of death.” Revelation 17:6 “I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus…” The sin of idolatry which is harlotry, is nothing to play with, or to take lightly. Those who refuse to renounce her ways and the traditions by which she ensnares so many, will find their spiritual vision becoming blurry, and their spiritual ears becoming dull. Let the truth of the Word of God enlighten your soul today and refuse to let the world mold you into its image. Learn of Him who is the truth and He will make you free. Back to End Times Teachings

    Top of Page Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING Prophecy by Numbers Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero Published 12/5/21 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.” We are told in the letter to the Hebrews 7:25 that Jesus saves us to the uttermost; that is that our spirit, soul and body will all be gathered up together at His soon return. There is a spiritual principle at work here that if we understand it, will reveal to us how everything in life follows a carefully numbered and prescribed prophetic pattern. For example: the human spirit is saved instantly at the moment of the new birth, during what is commonly known as the born-again experience. After responding to the conviction of the Holy Spirit and accepting Jesus as our Savior and Lord, our spirit-man is instantly made alive to God—been previously dead or separated from God, for in sin we were conceived—during the new birth experience our spirit-man is immediately transported into the very presence of God’s throne to wait for the completion of the salvation of the soul and of the body. That is why there is joy in the presence of the angels of God in heaven over one sinner who repents. Luke 15:10 Ephesians 2:6 “And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” This already happened to the spirit of all who have accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Our spirit-man was raised and sitted with Jesus at the moment of our salvation. 1 John 3:9 “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed (Jesus’ spiritual down payment) remains in him (the sinner who repents) ; and he (the spirit of the person who repented) cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” Italics added for emphasis. The born-again experience can only be applied to our spirit-man who at the moment of our salvation is taken up to the heavenly places and made to sit with Christ Jesus where he—our spirit-man—who has been born of God does not sin. 1 Peter 1:9 “Receiving the END (goal) of your faith—the salvation of your souls.” On the other hand, the goal of our faith is the salvation of our soul or personality, which is a life-long process which ends at the time of our death, when our soul must appear before the judgment seat of Christ to give an account for the things that we did after our salvation be it good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that EACH ONE MAY RECEIVE (a reward or lack of it) the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” Italics added for emphasis. So that while we are here on this earth we still have to fight the battle between good and evil. 1 John 1:8 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” JUSTIFICATION then is for the spirit-man and can only be received by faith in the blood of Jesus and by trust in the grace of God. Romans 3:24-25 “Being JUSTIFIED freely by HIS GRACE through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by HIS BLOOD, through FAITH…” SANCTIFICATION is for the human soul and it is attained by daily obedience to the truthfulness of the Word of God. John 17:17 “SANCTIFY them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” GLORIFICATION which is the transformation of the physical body that goes from glory to glory here on earth until it dies and then waits for that blessed hope, at the return of Jesus Christ to the earth, when it is resurrected a glorified body that will never die: saved to the uttermost. 1 Corinthians 15:54-55 “So when this corruptible has put incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’ ‘O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?’ ” Proverbs 30:21 “For THREE things the earth is perturbed, yes, for FOUR it cannot bear up.” In this proverb the Lord reveals to us a powerful spiritual principle that applies to the inner workings of prophecy itself. Revelation 19:10 “…For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” As I study the Scriptures I find that there are always three spirits at work in whatever situation we are looking at, and the matter is completed when the forth spiritual force comes into play. The testimony of Jesus always completes what the Bible refers to as the four winds. Ezekiel 37:9 “Also He said to me, ‘Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath’, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Come from the FOUR WINDS, O breath, and breathe on these slain that they may live.’ ” We see the progression of the four winds played out in the foundational doctrine of salvation: The process of Justification, Sanctification and Glorification which can only be completed when Jesus returns to the earth and sets up His kingdom here on earth. Jesus Himself being the fourth which the earth cannot bear up, that is why Armageddon takes place before His kingdom begins. Zechariah 6:1, 5 “Then I turned and raised my eyes and looked, and behold, FOUR chariots were coming from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of bronze…And the angel answered and said to me, ‘These are FOUR spirits of heaven, who go out from their station before the Lord of all the earth.” The FOUR winds of heaven are FOUR spirits that sometimes are portrayed as chariots that are led by different color horses, or as riders riding on the different colored horses themselves. Revelation 6:1 “Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the FOUR living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, ‘Come and see.’ ” The first FOUR seals of Revelation chapter six follow the same pattern of three winds or spirits fomenting a matter and then followed by a forth, which when it is introduced it brings to a full completion the matter that it is dealing with. 2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” For clarification purposes we need to understand how this principle of things which are seen and not seen works. Everything that is seen falls under the law of entropy; eventually all things that are visible will come to an unavoidable end and thereby accomplish an unseen or spiritual purpose for-ordained by God who sends the four winds to begin with. Revelation 1:2 “Who bore WITNESS (testified) to the WORD OF GOD, and to the TESTIMONY of JESUS CHRIST, to all things that he saw.” As we read the Bible we will find that when describing those things which are seen or visible God uses a lineal formula: He created everything in six days and then rested in the seventh. We see that in the physical TESTIMONY of JESUS CHRIST in the letters to the SEVEN churches; The sixth letter to the sixth church completes the purpose—He opened a door of escape—for the church age, while the seventh church is left behind not part of His work of grace any more. While describing those things which are invisible or spiritual, God uses the three plus one formula revealed to us in Proverbs 30:21 . The TESTIMONY of the WORD OF GOD to the seven churches is a spiritual testimony, so that the four horsemen revealed at the opening of the first four seals completes the church age. While the last three seals deals with the consequences. The fifth seal deals with the martyr’s from the beginning of the church age who must wait for the number of their fellow servants and their brethren to be killed as they were—when that number is reached the fourth seal will be released. The sixth seal describes the rapture as Jesus returns in the clouds. Remember how the FOUR chariots were coming from between two mountains made of bronze? I believe bronze here symbolizes the martyr’s who had to die during their trials by fire. The sixth seal completes the beginning and the end of the age of God’s grace, which is bookmarked by the blood of the martyr’s. What a beautiful end to God’s glorious church! The seventh seal introduces a new era, in this case the beginning of God’s Wrath upon all those who rejected the salvation offered to the entire world during the age of God’s Grace. That means that we are eagerly awaiting the introduction of the fourth seal to usher in the completion of God’s Age of Grace. Luke 21:8-11 “And He said: Take heed that you not be DECEIVED. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them. But when you hear of WARS and commotions, do not be terrified: for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately. Then He said to them, nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be FEARFUL SIGHTS and great signs from heaven.” Notice how Jesus connects the opening of the first three seals in Revelation chapter six to His account in Luke: First deception /antichrist, then wars and commotions follow by fearful sights. DECEPTION comes through the spirit of antichrist who is revealed as riding on a white horse. This spirit was released when the guards who witness the angel telling them about the empty tomb were bribed to denied that Jesus had physically risen from the dead. 1 John 4:3 “And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ HAS COME IN THE FLESH is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is NOW already in the world.” You cannot counterfeit something that does not exist. The spirit of Antichrist could not be revealed until after the real Jesus Christ rose from the dead. Matthew 28:3-6, 12-13 “His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the GUARDS shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. But the angel answered and said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for HE IS RISEN, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay’…When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers (guards), saying, ‘Tell them, His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’ ” The above Scriptures officially confirms the very moment when the spirit of antichrist was released and it was THERE already in the world during the days of John’s writings and it is still here with us today until he is given a body to possess in the middle of the Day of God’s Wrath, only to be taken captive at the end of God’s Wrath, and thrown alive into the Lake of Fire. The opening of the second seal represents WARS, I think this seal was probably released with the war that led to the destruction of Herod’s temple before the generation of Jesus’ day ended. It is the same spirit of wars that took the world into two world wars. This same spirit will be given power to make war over one fourth of the earth—the Middle East—when the fourth seal is open and the Lord will intervene on behalf of the nation of Israel. I believe that right now we are smack in the middle of the third seal, which might have been released with the introduction of the atomic age. Revelation 6:5-6 “When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, ‘Come and see.’ So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the living creatures saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.’ ” Bread, oil and wine are not only the basis of any economic system, but from God’s perspective they represent the wholeness and wellness of all mankind. Which this present world system wants to control and it is using these tragic events like pestilences to attain their goal. Psalm 104:15 “And wine that makes glad the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread which strengthens man’s heart.” According to Luke’s Gospel after the wars and during the third seal we will experience: “And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and PESTILENCES; and there will be FEARFUL SIGHTS and great signs from heaven.” The Covid 19 virus is a pestilence. The next event that will follow the pestilence will be great and fearful sights in the sky. Luke 21:25-26 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” The powers that be in the world today, know the faithfulness of the Scriptures and use them to prepare themselves against what God’s plan is for the nations. That is what this third seal is all about; the world is getting ready for the one world government united against Almighty God. Psalm 2:1-3 “Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His anointed, saying, ‘Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.’ ” Malachi 2:17 “You have wearied the Lord with your words; yet you say, ‘In what way have we wearied Him?’ In that you say, ‘Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He delights in them,’ Or, ‘Where is the God of justice?’ ” We are living in the days of the end of the age of God’s Grace, the judgments of God are about to begin and the wicked leaders of the earth are preparing for them. What the wicked leaders of this corrupt world have in mind for the populace is Deception, Division, Corruption, and Total Control over every aspect of our daily lives. From their demonic perspective we are all expendable; the devil’s goal for all humanity is the total annihilation of the human race. For those of us who have been Justified by faith in the blood of Jesus and believe that the rapture of the church is a rescue mission for all who are alive and remain after the saints of old are raised from the dead, we will not be disappointed. For in the twinkling of an eye we will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and thus will forever be with the Lord. Do not be left behind! Malachi 4:1-2 “For behold the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, that will leave them neither root nor branch. But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.” In order to have a one world government it is imperative to have a one world economy; and a world-wide economic system requires a world-wide monetary system. The key word here is CENTRALITY in order to be governed by one person, and for that you need a world-wide-net system of communications. And to make so many different nations and systems to willingly abandon their sovereignty you need a world-wide-crises. The antichrist spirit masks itself with the mantra of saving the planet, by saving it they mean to take it over and rule it into extinction. Revelation 13:15-17 “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes ALL, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Everything that has been taking place around the world since this Covid 19 pestilence started is nothing more than a big rehearsal for that which is going to be introduced in the world when the FEARFUL SIGHTS appear in the sky. An entire generation of children, now grownup, has been mentally conditioned for such a time as this. As Christians, it is imperative that we teach this new— and mentally different—last generation the truthfulness and certainty of God’s Word. Jesus said that you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Malachi 4:5-6 “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” Elijah the prophet comes to the earth after the rapture of the church as one of the Two Witnesses, to turn the hearts of the Jewish children who were left behind, to the Lord. They will seal 144,000 of them for they represent the last generation which is the 144th. God receives them as a first-fruit offering on behalf of all the children left in the world.     Top of Page OTHER TEACHINGS A PRAYER FOR AMERICA For many prophecy watchers the role that the American nation plays during the days of the end of the Church Age is not clear, due to the fact that the American nation does not seem to play a significant prophetic role during the events that lead to the return of Christ. Some believe that America’s status as a major world power will be so greatly diminished by the time that Jesus returns to set up the Kingdom Age, that it is not worth mentioning in the prophetic scenario. ​ I take a different view, there are three different entities or dispensations that are clearly marked for closure before the Lord physically lands on the earth to set up His one thousand year reign called The Kingdom Age. These three entities are: The Church represented today (remember that I am dealing here with nations not individuals) mainly by the western nations that have as their foundation Judeo-Christian principles and/or values, The Law represented by the nation of Israel, and what the Bible prophetically calls The Kingdoms of this World whose representation today comes from the United Nations. The 20th century witnessed a rise of anti-Semitism in many western cultures along with the rejection of the Judeo-Christian values they had inherited. A vacuum occurred that led many in those western cultures to turn to eastern philosophies and isms, but eventually it was secular humanism and its embracing of anything and everything but God that prevailed. In today’s culture if you are a firm believer of biblical principles and moral traditions you are regarded as a right-wing nut. Prophetically speaking the turning of the western European nations back to their pagan roots is part of God’s prophetic plan, for it is out of these western European nations that the revived Roman empire rises out of and eventually give all of their power to the head of the United Nations at that time who will be the anti-Christ. But I do not believe that to be the case for our beloved America. For there are no pagan roots for America to turn back to. Acts 16:6-10 “Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia (to the east). When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow then to. So, they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas. During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia (west of them) standing and begging him, ‘come over to Macedonia and help us.’ After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.” italics mine Here we see a clear effort by the Holy Spirit and by the Spirit of Jesus preventing Paul and his fellow workers from proclaiming the Gospel to the nations of the east. It is not that God did not want His Gospel to go to the nations of the east, for the Gospel of the kingdom was to be proclaimed to the whole world, but rather Paul’s anointing for this specific missionary trip was that of nation building, future nations, including those of the new world yet to be discovered. When Christopher Columbus and the Spanish conquistadores discovered a new land, they did so and offered it as a price to the nation that they represented, Spain, and the values that their nation embraced not limited to their Christian beliefs, but also including their pagan roots, these were introduced into the newly formed nations of the new world, not just by the Spaniards, but so did the many other nations that conquered land in the new world. However, the pilgrims that eventually became the thirteen colonies that would eventually formed today’s American nation, did not come to the new world to conquer on behalf of the nations they left behind, but rather as pilgrims looking for a new land that was not contaminated with the paganism that their Christian faith had succumbed to in the old world. It was the quest for freedom, religious freedom, that gave birth to the American nation, not a desire for subjugation. Though the roots of paganism were never far from the hearts of those who founded the new American nation, the intent was noble and prophetic in my humble opinion. For it was in God’s plan that at the end of time a nation of noble birth would assume the ministry of being the light bearer to the rest of the nations of the world of what the principles of true liberty and justice can be like, even in the midst of flawed humans whose simple desire is that of being free. In the 20th century America shined liberty, promoted prosperity, and proclaimed religious freedom gallantly to every nation of the world, so as to when God’s judgment begins against those who reject the Judeo-Christian values that America preached by her actions, they would be without excuse as to what true nobility was like. American blood stains battle fields in every habitable continent, American bodies have been buried in every ocean of the world after dying fighting for the freedom of others, every kitchen in the world is touched by American generosity, American missionaries have taught human dignity to the unlearned masses and American culture permeates all the tribes of the earth. Yet no nation that we have liberated fears us, for we are not into conquest, but we are for freedom, even the freedom of those who do not deserve it, that is the American way. It can truly be said that America, though not perfect, and Americans, flawed as well, have definitely fulfilled the role assigned to them by their God the Creator they proclaimed. So, what shall we said then of the fate that awaits as Americans? And what is the fate of our beloved nation at the end of time? Psalm 73:25-26 “Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire beside you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” If you noticed, I never mentioned the United States when referring to America. Let me explain what I believe, know that my perspective is that of an immigrant. I was born in Cuba in 1947 under a constitutional government, by the time I was six years old we had a dictatorship, and by the time I was twelve I had lived through a revolutionary war. In 1965 at the tender age of eighteen I fled what was then and still is as of this writing a full fledge communist regime, I came across the ocean in a small boat to a tiny island in the Kay Sal bank named after the tiny island, I was picked up by a British war ship and delivered to a navy base in Port Everglades Florida, where I was welcome as a political refugee. I settle in Los Angeles in September 1965 right after the August riots of that summer and began to learn what America is really all about. America is a spiritual principle or let me say it another way, America is the soul of these United States. I was an American before I became a citizen of the Unites States. What is it that makes a nation if is not for its soul? What is the soul of America? To know what the soul of a nation is one must look at the principles upon which that nation was founded. Here is part of what the soul of America is: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” ​ Let me ask you this simple question, is a member of the KKK a real American? Is it not self-evident that if someone thinks himself to be better that another because of their race, that that person does not live up to the American definition that all men are created equal? He may have been born in the United States and is a duly citizen of the United States, but such a person is not an American! For to be a real American one must embrace the soul of America and become one with it. ​ Let me give you an example from these men I believe to be the two greatest Americans of the 20th century. Former president of the U.S. Ronald Reagan and Pastor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. President Reagan united the nation in a way like no former president ever did since its founding. How did he do it? He knew and understood the soul of America and its founding principles, he knew the destiny of America, he clearly enunciated that America was to the world like a shinning city upon a hill, Americans could not help but to respond, for he was communicating with their soul. ​ Dr. King lived in a very different America, where persecution, fear and relentless discrimination ruled the day. He had a choice to make, was America a nation that needed to be fundamentally changed? Did America need another armed revolution? I believe Dr. King being a Pastor looked at the soul of America, after all that is what we pastors do, we look at the soul before deciding whether something or someone is redeemable. By looking into the soul of America he could easily see that the problem with America was not in is soul, we were just failing to live up to it. So his message was a simple one, he dreamed of the day when true Americans would live up to their founding creed. ​ And it was real Americans who responded to Dr. King’s cry for justice because he spoke directly to their American soul! ​ So, what is the future of these United States? Clearly as we stand today, we stand divided, we stand divided because great forces are at work to remove from our nation the Creator who guarantees us those unalienable rights and the great moral principles that held us together from our founding. ​ My flesh and my heart may fail: I take great comfort in the fact that even if our United States, the flesh of America, were to fail, America has not failed! It is my deeply held belief that America is a very special nation, that the souls of her soldiers who died so that other men may lived, are safely guarded in the hands of Jesus Christ. That the sacrificial prayers that are being offered continuously on behalf of this nation are heard by God who is faithful. What should then our prayer for America be? Early this morning I got up to pray and the Lord put America in my heart and said to me: “Pray for America!” I wrote all of this to tell you what my prayer was and what I think it is that God wants us to pray for concerning America. As you pray for America, pray for her spiritual enlightenment, we need to see beyond our physical circumstances. America does not have any physical problems that cannot be solved from the spiritual perspective, be it division, dysfunction, debt crises, suicides, mass shootings, abortions, immoralities, hate, hopelessness, whatever you can name that it is wrong we our nation today can be solved if we just simply understand that our problems stem from us not living up to our American potential that emanates from our Creator and brings to us peace. Let us not give up, do not think that is too late for America, for none of us knows the future, as long as there is breath in us let us thank God for America, let us ask God to forgive America, let us repent before God for the sins of America, let us forgive those who trespass against us and pray for their salvation and well-being. Let us pray His Word and will over America. Psalm 74:19-21 “Do not hand over the life of Your dove to wild beasts; do not forget the lives o f Your afflicted people forever. Have regard for Your covenant, because haunts of violence fill dark places of the land.     Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY MATURITY VS. INFANCY 1 Corinthians 3:1 “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.” The difference between a mature person and a childish person can be ascertained by their ability to engage in substantive communication. Paul made the statement to the Corinthian church that he was unable to communicate with them due to their lack of understanding spiritually mature subjects, he simply said to them, trying to talk with you about spiritual issues is like speaking to little children about things that they are unable to comprehend. ​ In the natural all children grow up, that is, eventually they all mature into an adult understanding of the realities of everyday life. However, not all baby Christians mature into an adult understanding of spiritual life, and that is sad. Imagine living your entire adult life with a child’s mindset. The ministry of deliverance is a great tool that the Lord uses to bring baby or carnal Christians into spiritual maturity, for the word deliverance also means liberation, and a person matures as his/her mind is liberated from childish thinking, or foolish thinking, that unfortunately keep many Christians from ever coming into the maturity of the faith. 1 Corinthians 3:2 “I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able.” What is it that keeps so many Christians from growing up spiritually? There are several elements to this problem, the first and the most basic one in my opinion, is the tendency of the church to hold on to its converts, instead of seeing them as seed that they are to scatter abroad. If we look at the church from a business model perspective, the first question that we must ask is this: what is the product that the church was created to produce? Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” The goal of the church is to duplicate itself wherever it goes, that means that those who are converted are to be raised up in the expectation that they themselves will grow up to become servants of the call of Jesus for all to go and to make disciples. In the business model some have to stay in the churches that are planted, to mind the store if you will, but always with the expectation that they might be called to convert others and to make disciples out of them, even outside of the realm of influence of their local church. Like in their workplace , or family members that are not part of their local community. The ideal church is one that is raising up mature believers that hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, and since the end goal is the same for those who stay as for those who are called to leave, there is no acrimony, for their aim is to go and to make disciples, here or there, or everywhere, it matters not, as long as our goal remains the same; to fulfill the call of Jesus to go and to make disciples of every nation. 1 Corinthians 3:3 “For you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?” Envy is always the result of selfishness, and it always brings with it strife and division. The devastating result of selfishness within the church is that it changes the goal for which Jesus established the church. 1 Corinthians 3:4 “For when one says, ‘I am of Paul,’ and another, ‘I am of Apollos,’ are you not carnal?” Once the goal is changed, the product changes as well. If the farmer decides that he is going to keep and eat most of the corn that he harvested, and greatly reduces the amount of seed that he is suppose to scattered abroad, not only the quality of the product is vastly reduced, but the amount that he produces suffers greatly as well. How does that principle of selfishness applies to the church today? Hebrews 5:13 “For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.” Imagine going to a church where they do not want you to ever leave. How many sermons on maturing spiritually so that you can go out and make disciples are you going to hear? Not many, I venture to say, for it would contradict their goal of keeping you there. How many sermons on how your spiritual walk is so totally dependent on them and what they offer you will you hear, that you wouldn’t dare think of ever leaving them? You see, if they want to keep you they have to create a need of them in your life. Hebrews 5:12 “For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.” If I can paraphrase You have come to need milk, You are a babe and you are hooked and in need of milk not solid food. Can you see the deviation from the original call? As long as you stay with their milk you will never mature and move on to your higher calling, and that is their aim if they are acting selfishly, for in their mind is the thought of why would we make faithful disciples to go out and plow in somebody else’s field? There is just one field for those of us who believe, the Lord’s field, and it does not matter who on this earth seems to get the credit as long as the great commission is proclaimed to the entire world, as we believers come into the maturity of the faith as one body, under one Lord, Jesus Christ! If I am one of those infants who is hooked to their baby formula, how do I get out of it? Hebrews 6:1-2 “Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection (maturity), not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrines of baptism, of laying on hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” Everything enumerated in the verses above are doctrinal foundations of Christianity, that is why on verse three he states that: And this we will do if God permits, in other words, that is the message that we are to proclaim to the new converts. But those of you who have already learned the foundational principles need to move on, he said leave that discussion, and move up. If every time you go to church you find that you have to repent all over again every time that you hear a call to repentance, something is wrong, chances are you are hooked to babe’s milk and in need of somebody to lay hands on you and feed you some more formula, or change your spiritual diaper. How do I move up? Hebrews 5:14 “But solid food belongs to those who are full of age (mature), that is, those who by reason of use (practice) have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” There is an Old Testament Scripture where God compels those to whom He is speaking to come up higher and to reason together with Him. Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Why don’t we do that right now. Think back to when you were first saved, did God know every sin that you had ever committed and still saved you? He not only knew every sin that we had ever committed and forgave us when we first got saved, but even all those sins that we did not even know we had committed or remembered, He forgave them all as well. As you probably know, God is all knowing; so on that basis let me ask you again, did not God know all your future sins as well and still forgave you when you first got saved? He forgave us of all of our future sins when we first got saved through a mechanism He put in place where we could in the future bring to Him those sins that were yet to be committed by us? 1 John 2:1 “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” So that as Christians when we sin, we do not lose our salvation, we do not have to get saved all over again, we simply confess and acknowledge our sins before Him and He is faithful and just not only to forgive us of the sins that we have perpetrated since our salvation, but He also cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Knowledge and an understanding of this fact will mature you faster than anything that I know, for knowingly or unknowingly those whose aim is to keep you hooked to their baby bottle will always go after the inconsistencies of the flesh in their sermons, to get you back to the basic principles of salvation all over again, to where you will never leave them even if you knew that the Lord had called you, for you would feel so inadequate in your infant mentality. Hebrews 6:4-6 “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.” After the Lord calls us to leave the elementary things behind, things that can be perverted and used by the enemy to stunt our growth, He places the above and very important Scripture to illuminate us into the revelation of the eternity of our salvation that He calls the heavenly gift. Although the above Scripture can be difficult to understand, especially for baby Christians, if you want to grow into maturity you will have to deal with it, that is why the Lord put it there right in the midst of the discussion about immaturity, for it deals with the subject of whether a true believer can lose his/her salvation. Listen carefully, if a born-again believer could lose his/her salvation, that is, if it were possible for a true believer to fall away, then Jesus our Advocate before the Father would be the one that loses the case, and that is contrary to Scripture. John 17:12 “While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.” One cannot be born again unless he/she is a partaker of the Holy Spirit, and it is during salvation that we first taste of the heavenly gift, it might be milk, but is heavenly milk, the sincere milk of the Word of God, so that we are babes at first, but still babes in Christ the unmovable rock of our salvation. Although we are called to maturity, our salvation does not depend on our maturity for it is a heavenly gift from God. Romans 11:29 “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” It is fear that keeps many from maturing in the faith, but God’s perfect love casts out all fear. Fear of losing the gift of our salvation has been used against many to keep them bound, and it is still used today to keep many from leaving the herd and fulfilling their call. God did not call us to sit on our blessed assurance, but to become fruitful workers in the kingdom of God, do not let any human control you or your actions, Jesus is the head of the church, and He speaks to us His children daily, all we have to do is to read His Word with a sincere heart and meditate on the truths that the Holy Spirit reveals to us in His Word. Now therefore, heed the voice of the words of the Lord. 2 Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, how he ambushed him on the way when he came up from Egypt. 3 Now go and attack[a ] Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’ ” 4 So Saul gathered the people together and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand foot soldiers and ten thousand men of Judah. 5 And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and lay in wait in the valley. 6 Then Saul said to the Kenites, “Go, depart, get down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them. For you showed kindness to all the children of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites. 7 And Saul attacked the Amalekites, from Havilah all the way to Shur, which is east of Egypt. 8 He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. 9 But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed. ​ In the above scriptures, you can see that Saul and the people decided on their own to pick and choose what they would save vs destroying. God has a reason for destroying this race. They’re descendants from the giants and God cursed them before the flood. He was using Israel to fully destroy them completing His word against the giants. Another words, this was a race that had mixed blood between spirit realm and humanity. This is what the giants did when the watchers mated by taking humans wives for themselves. Genesis 6:1-2 NKJV 6 Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. Isaiah 1:18 NKJV 18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. ​ We may not always understand why God has certain commandments in place, but we need to obey them. We can go to Him and ask Him for understanding but the end act still results in obedience, otherwise there are consequences and having God reject you is an awful consequence you do not want to experience. 1 Samuel 15:10-23 NKJV 10 Now the word of the Lord came to Samuel, saying, 11 “I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.” And it grieved Samuel, and he cried out to the Lord all night. 12 So when Samuel rose early in the morning to meet Saul, it was told Samuel, saying, “Saul went to Carmel, and indeed, he set up a monument for himself; and he has gone on around, passed by, and gone down to Gilgal.” 13 Then Samuel went to Saul, and Saul said to him, “Blessed are you of the Lord! I have performed the commandment of the Lord.” 14 But Samuel said, “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?” 15 And Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen, to sacrifice to the Lord your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.” 16 Then Samuel said to Saul, “Be quiet! And I will tell you what the Lord said to me last night.” And he said to him, “Speak on.” 17 So Samuel said, “When you were little in your own eyes, were you not head of the tribes of Israel? And did not the Lord anoint you king over Israel? 18 Now the Lord sent you on a mission, and said, ‘Go, and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are [b ]consumed.’ 19 Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord? Why did you swoop down on the [c ]spoil, and do evil in the sight of the Lord?” 20 And Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and gone on the mission on which the Lord sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. 21 But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal.” 22 So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of [d ]witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” Notice two things going on here. The king blamed the disobedience on the people in essence lying to God about obeying His commandments. Second, he kept twisting his response to say that yes, he did obey God’s commandments ‘for the most part’. (That part is implied but God knows the truth.) Question, do you think Saul was aware of what he was doing? I’m pretty certain he was and when dealing with other people in a situation like this, you usually can talk your way out of the disobedience, but Saul learned quickly he couldn’t talk his way out of this one with Samuel. Then Saul tried another approach. 1 Samuel 15:24-29 NKJV 24 Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice. 25 Now therefore, please pardon my sin, and return with me, that I may worship the Lord.” 26 But Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you, for you have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you from being kin g over Israel.” 27 And as Samuel turned around to go away, Saul seized the edge of his robe, and it tore. 28 So Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you. 29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent.” ​ Saul tried repenting with a lie. By still blaming the people in saying he obeyed their voice vs God’s voice, he said he was sorry but in reality, he still blamed the people and didn’t take responsibility for his sin. Samuel still didn’t fall for the false repentance. ​ Look what happened. God removed Saul from being king over Israel and because Saul realized that it was too late and tried to physically man handled Samuel into accepting his repentance, and ending up tearing his robe, Samuel proclaimed the kingdom will be torn from him. ​ 1 Samuel 15:23 NKJV 23 For rebellion is as the sin of [d ]witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” Because Saul rejected the word of God, God rejected him from being king. Every time you reject God, He rejects you. And some of the things you reject have permanent consequences, such as Saul no longer being king. There are consequences but it’s not too late. Humble yourself and repent. Return to God and heed His Word. Exodus 15:26 NKJV 26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.” Romans 10:9-10 NKJV 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. To repent, confess with your mouth and be sincere. Don’t be like Saul. Say this out loud: Dear Jesus, forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and be my Lord and savior. I’m sorry that I’ve disobeyed Your Word but I choose to no longer do that. In Jesus’ Name, Amen! Now seek God’s Word and find out what His commandments are so you can walk in obedience. Note, you’re still responsible in ignorance. And don’t depend on people or non-biblical sources to tell you what God’s commandments are. Find out direct from the source – The Bible. And once you find out, obey them. Once you place God’s commandments first in the center of your life, everything lines up. Blessings come your way and God says He knows you. Does God know who you are? If He knows you, you’re protected. Psalm 91:1-16 NKJV He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3 Surely He shall de liver you from the snare of the [a ]fowler And from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and [b ]buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall [c ]bear you up, Lest you [d ]dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. 14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will [e ]set him on high, because he has known My name. 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With [f ]long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.” Back to Other Teachings

    Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY SPIRITUAL ENCOUNTERS Song of Solomon 3:1-2 “By night on my bed I sought the one I love; I sought him, but I did not find him. I will rise now, I said, and go about the city; in the streets and in the squares I will seek the one I love. I sought him but I did not find him.” There are two kinds of spiritual encounters between man and God, as far as our relationship with God’s plan for our lives is concerned. First is the kind where God reveals Himself to us, by way of an angel, personally, or in some supernatural manner, when we are not actively seeking Him. Such was the case with Saul of Tarsus, an encounter with God was the last thing on his mind as he traveled on the road to Damascus. ​ The second form of an encounter with God is when we are actively seeking Him and some way or another He let’s us find Him. I believe the book of Song of Solomon has a wealth of information into the how to, of seeking a personal encounter with God. Let us look at the two different types of encounters and see if we can learn from this present lesson how to find favor with the Lord, and encounter His presence in a way that brings a life changing experience to us that results in our betterment. In the first type of encounter, God reveals Himself to a person for a specific purpose or reason. In Paul’s case it was for his conversion and called to future ministry, in other cases it could be for the protection of an individual, maybe to keep them from crossing a line from which there is no return. My first encounter with the physical manifestation of the presence of God was to keep me from making such a mistake. I was in a small boat fleeing the communist regime in Cuba in the Florida straights in August 1965, I brought two friends with me who were hiding under the small bow of the boat. We were hit by a strong tempest (chuvasco) and swamped by towering waves to the point that I thought the end of my life was at hand, as we were verily making it through that frontal line of menacing clouds in the middle of the night, we were almost struck by a cargo ship that was sailing in the middle of the storm. After seeing our SOS the cargo ship stopped to recue us, thinking they had hit us, we’ve maneuvered to the side of the cargo ship, by the hanged net they laid on the side of the ship in order for us to climb aboard the ship and out of the tempestuous sea. As my hand took hold of the net, an invisible man that was standing next to me told me to ask where they were going, I looked up to those who were waiting for us at the top of the net and asked them where were they going, something that you normally would not do when being rescued, it was a natural reaction to a supernatural prompting, the immediate answer came with an oriental accent; we are going to Havana! As if the net was charged with thousands of volts of electricity, my hand let go of it, and we sailed away as fast and as far as we could from that Chinese cargo ship that was headed to Havana, where we would have certainly been delivered into one of Castro’s many prisons. By next afternoon we encountered an island named Cay Sal and were spotted by a US navy plane that pointed us to that island, as soon as we knew that we were going to make it, the invisible man, an angel from the Lord, left, and in that instance all three of us looked at each other and wondered out loud, how is it that we were behaving as if there were four of us, when there is only three? All three of us knew he was there, we all felt his presence, I heard his voice, and we knew immediately when he left, yet we never saw him, neither did we comprehend his presence until after he departed. That evening a British warship picked us up from the island and took us to Port Everglades Florida, where we were welcome as refugees. I often pondered why did God do that miracle when none of us were even saved, and the only conclusion that I can come up with is that, had it not been for His sovereign intervention that night we would not have been able to fulfill God’s plan and destiny for our lives. I am sure that all of us will one day find out the countless times when the Lord intervened on our behalf, for the battles that God’s angels fight for us is a constant one. In the first type of encounter God is making sure that His plans for the individual’s life is not altered, so that the nature of the encounter is more functional in nature than personal, not so in the second type of encounter, for this encounter is very personal in nature, where God responds to those who seek to have a deeper, more personal relationship with Him. By night on my bed, I sought the one I love. It is not easy to position ourselves properly in order to have the opportunity of having the experience of a personal encounter with the Lord, such experiences are just as precious as they are rare, but our desire of them speaks volumes of how real and deep our love for Him is. What is it that is on our minds when we suddenly awake in the middle of the night, before the cares of this life come rushing in? The Shulamite, a type for the church in this story, wakes up longing for a personal encounter with the love of her life and then she decides to do something about it; she says, I will rise now and go about the city, obviously she is looking for Him. This is a sign for those of us who personally desire to have a life changing encounter with the Lord deep within our hearts, if suddenly we wake up in the middle of the night longing for Him, in response to that longing, we should get up and seek Him fervently in prayer. In the streets and in the squares, I will seek the one I love. The word for streets in the Hebrew has the idea of as run over something, almost like a bridge, from its root word that means to run after or over to something. The idea behind the word for streets is that of, we have to cross over, in our case it would imply that we have to cross over into the spiritual realm as we seek an encounter with our Lord, by putting all our physical limitations and suppositions behind us. The word translated squares literally means broad way or broad place, from its root word that means to broaden or to make wide. To seek the encounter with the One we love we must be willing to cross over into the spiritual realm, and in order to do this we have to widen or broaden our perspective of how the spiritual realm operates. We have to be willing to negate the perceived limitations that hinder us from entering into His presence and not be dissuaded from apparent failures. As the Shulamite says twice in our opening verses, I sought him, but I did not find him. Song of Solomon 3:3 “The watchman who go about the city found me; I said, ‘Have you seen the one I love?’” If the city is symbolic of the spiritual realm where she went searching for the one she loves, then the watchman is symbolic of the angels that police the spiritual realm, notice how she handled her encounter with them: Have you seen the one I love? She was not hesitant at all, she was determined in her commitment to find the one she loved. Song of Solomon 3:4 “Scarcely had I passed by them, when I found the one I love. I held him and would not let him go, until I had brought him to the house of my mother, and into the chamber (room) of her who conceived me.” This is an interesting insight into what drove her desire for an encounter with the one she loved. In the natural she was saying I want you to meet my mother, if you are in the dating stage of your life I do not have to tell you what that means, for you know that she means business once she asks you to meet her mother, what that means is that she is definitely serious about your relationship with her. But from the spiritual aspect, I looked at the words here that state, the chamber of her who conceived me. I think that this is a reference to the inner rooms of the heart, meaning that her goal all along was for this spiritual encounter to bring her Savior into the inner chambers of her heart, where spiritual conception takes place, she wanted to experience her loved one in a way that she had never experienced him before. Proverbs 20:27 “The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths (literally: inner rooms of the belly) of his heart.” The difference then, between our first and second types of spiritual encounter is, that in the first type angels or watchers intervene on behalf of those whose destiny is threaten by the mischievousness of the devil against them. In the second type of encounter there is nothing that the angels can do, for in this type of encounter the human heart is the issue, and only God is qualified to deal with the issues of the heart, and He will never intrude into the human heart unless He is first, personally invited, and second, we make special preparations within us that will make Him feel welcome. Step number one: Song of Solomon 4:1 “Behold, you are fair, my love! Behold you are fair! You have dove’s eyes behind your veil (the curtain that covers the door that leads into our hearts). Your hair (covering) is like a flock of goats, going down from Mount Gilead.” The dove is the symbol for the Holy Spirit, and the veil represents the door to the inner rooms of our hearts, typified by the curtain that covers the entrance to the Holy of Holies in God’s Tabernacle. That means that we have to be born again, born of the Spirit of God if we want to experience this type of encounter with Jesus deep within our hearts, because that is where the Holy Spirit resides after we are born again, deep within our hearts. Step number two: Our covering, symbolized by the hair, has to be in place by being a part of the flock, the church, which is the body of Christ. Some believers are not properly covered because their pastors are in direct disobedience to the Word of God, hence they are not properly covered by their fellowship, which makes it a lot more difficult for them to have an experience of true intimacy with the Lord, especially when their leaders are proclaiming a different gospel that portrays another Jesus and a different spirit which they have not received. 2 Corinthians 11:4 “For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it (but the Lord will not).” In these matters we have to be very careful, for no church is perfect, but if you cannot tell the difference between your church and the world, then all your striving for a spiritual encounter with the real Jesus may be for naught. But remember this, never leave a fellowship to which you were called unless the Lord Himself calls you out of it first, and make sure that He confirms it before you act, that way you will not lose your true covering no matter where He leads you, for He will be your covering and your protection wherever you go. Step number three: Song of Solomon 4:2 “Your teeth are like a flock of shorn sheep which have come up from the washing, every one of which bears twins, and none is barren (bereaved) among them.” Our teeth represent the condition of the human soul, which is designed to reflect the Fruit of the Spirit of love who lives within us, which are: Love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, kindness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control, for against these there is no law. We need to make sure that none of these qualities are lacking within us, for they adorn our inner man and make us to be more attractive to the Lord. Since we love and desire intimacy with Him we should desire to be more presentable: Which have come up from the washing. After all no body likes bad breath. 1 Peter 1:9 “Receiving the end (goal) of your faith—the salvation of your souls.” We can find many allegories in the book of Song of Solomon to help prepare us for a life changing experience with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. But let us make sure that our desire for intimacy always flows out of a grateful heart that knows the hell from which He has delivered us, having a sincere desire for true intimacy with Him should trump everything else. The results of such a spiritual encounter should be that of us becoming more fruitful in every aspect of both our spiritual and physical walk with Him. Amen! Back to Deliverance Ministry

    Top of Page OTHER TEACHINGS BLESS THOSE WHO DESIRE TO FEAR YOUR NAME Nehemiah 1:11 “O Lord, I pray, please let your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let Your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer.” If the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and it is, then a desire to fear His name it should bring to us the knowledge of how to walk in the blessings of God. First let us understand that the fear of the Lord is the reverence that it is due to His name. ​ Unfortunately most Christians have a casual understanding of what true reverence is; now it is true that a father who is in a position of great authority wouldn’t get too upset if his child venture into his office while he is conducting important business, but he would make sure that such a distraction did not happen too often, for that would show him to be incompetent. So that the casual child like attitude that many Christians show towards God, though at times it may not be treated as irreverence by our heavenly Father due to our child like behavior, it is something that definitely keeps us from entering into His office where the business of blessings is taking place. For in His presence, while in fulfillment of His ministry, the protocol of His office demands maturity and self-control. For I was the king’s cupbearer. Nehemiah was a servant to the king. In those days the king had unquestionable authority over the lives of those whom he ruled; Nehemiah was a slave from a conquered nation who had gained the confidence of the king to be one of his many servants that attended to the king’s daily needs. Two things that you did not want to be in those days: one who delivered bad news to the king, or a personal servant to the king who failed to satisfy the king’s request, either one of those could get you killed. The point that I am trying to make is that Nehemiah understood what proper reverence was all about, after all his life depended on it in a daily basis, his actions and behavior towards God are recorded for the benefit of those of us who have a desire to learn how to come before God and into His holy presence in true reverence. Nehemiah 1:7 “We have acted very corruptly against You, and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, nor the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses.” A true sign of maturity is when a person understands the difference between the power of holiness and the weakness of sin. The reason why the basic meaning for the word reverence is the word fear, is because fear of not gaining or fear of losing our well being is what is at stake in our relationship with a holy God. After all He is holy and we are not, and without His grace, mercy, and compassion we are at a loss. A heart that deep within itself says, I am not worthy to be anywhere near the holy presence of God, will immediately acknowledge that fact if allowed into the presence of God. There cannot be any level of self righteousness within ourselves in the presence of a holy God. Nehemiah said, we violated the commandments, the statutes, the ordinances, we deserve everything bad that has happened to us, so that there is an inherited fear, respect, and reverence while in His presence that says, we are totally dependent upon Your mercy Lord. Nehemiah 1:8-9 “Remember, I pray, the word that You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘If your are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations; but if you return to Me, and keep My commandments and do them, though some of you were cast out to the farthest part of the heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen as a dwelling place for My name’” Nehemiah acknowledges that everything bad that has happened to them is in accordance with what God had promised, so that he is in agreement with the Word of God; but then he pivots and reminds God that along with the judgment God also had promised restoration, that is why he starts his prayer on the basis of God’s promised mercy to those who would acknowledge their sins before God in repentance. Nehemiah 1:5-6 “And I said: ‘I pray, Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love You and observe Your commandments, please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, that You may hear the prayer of Your servant which I pray before You now, day and night, for the children of Israel Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel which we have sinned against You. Both my fathers house and I have sinned.’” What prompted Nehemiah to pray was the bad news that he received from some travelers that came from Judah and Jerusalem. He was told that God’s people were in great distress and reproach, and that the walls of Jerusalem were also broken and the gates were burned with fire. Look at the humble heart of this man of God as he confesses before God the sins of the children of Israel and adds, both my fathers house and I myself have sinned and are responsible for this catastrophe that has befallen God’s servants, the children of Israel. In our opening text Nehemiah asks for prosperity: And let Your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man, but he is not asking for personal prosperity but rather he desires to be prosperous in the commodity of mercy. What Nehemiah is referring to is that after hearing all this bad news he is going to have to go and do his duty of serving the king,;a bad attitude is not going to serve him well in front of a king that does not like bad news. So he asks the Lord of Mercy for mercy when he goes before the king, knowing that he is not going to be able to be the usual cheerful servant that the king is used to. Nehemiah 2:1-2 “...I took the wine and gave it to the king. Now I had never been sad in his presence before. Therefore the king said to me, ‘Why is your face sad, since you are not sick? This is nothing but sorrow of heart.’ So I became dreadfully afraid.” Obviously , the king kept a wide eye upon all his servants and immediately recognized that something was wrong with Nehemiah, not that he was so much concerned about his personal problems as much as he was probably suspicious of those around him when they were not behaving normally, that is probably why Nehemiah became dreadfully afraid. He could have been accused of plotting anything against the king and executed right on the spot, but he had prayed to the God of Mercy for mercy. Nehemiah 2:3 “And said to the king, ‘May the king live forever! Why should my face not be sad, when the city, the place of my father’s tombs, lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire?’” I am pretty sure that the king kept track of all that was going on under his palace and knew that Nehemiah had received foreign visitors, and knew of the bad news that they brought to Nehemiah, so that once he heard Nehemiah’s explanation his suspicion abated. Nehemiah 2:4-5 “Then the king said to me, ‘What do you request?’ So I prayed to the God of heaven. And I said to the king, ‘If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, I ask that you send me to Judah, to the city of my father’s tombs, that I may rebuild it.’” What an amazing story, Nehemiah goes from a situation of been in dreadful fear for his life, to asking for the deliverance of an entire nation in the course of one verse; one can only learn that, from being in the presence of the God of Mercy, for those who truly fear the Lord are also made aware of His great power to impart the blessings of mercy. Notice how Nehemiah says that before he answered the king he prayed to the God of heaven, he probably said to himself, What should I ask for Lord? The answer was what he truly desired in his heart and what he had been praying for: Restitution, for that is what mercy does! In those days when a king asked one of his subjects for a request it was a big deal, for a king could truly make somebody extremely prosperous, but Nehemiah had not being praying for personal prosperity, he had been praying for mercy and restoration for his people. Imagine the surprise that the king had when the request that Nehemiah made was not a request for personal gain, but made on behalf of a vanquished nation. We are told that the queen was sitting next to the king when the request was made, almost like the king looked at the queen and then asked Nehemiah, how long are you going to be gone? If there is one thing that a king understands is the level of devotion that the subjects to his kingdom demonstrate, now he understood what it was that made Nehemiah such a faithful servant to his kingdom. Nehemiah truly valued the security that a well run government offered its citizens. That is why we are commanded to pray for those in authority, for if we understand how the physical authorities function, and how they are suppose to function, and have a healthy respect for the process of governing even under an imperfect human government, then we can live and minister in the house of God, the church, in awed, holy fear and respect for a perfect Sovereign God who governs justly. Nehemiah 13:30-31 “Thus I cleansed them of everything pagan. I also assigned duties to the priests and the Levites, each to his service, and to bringing the wood of offering and the firstfruits at appointed times. Remember me, O my God, for good!” If a government is going to run properly it must rid itself of bias and corruption, a corrupt government will drown itself in its corruption. Nehemiah understood how the principle of corruption could bring down the human government, and he learned that in order for the house of God to be governed well, it also had to be rid of the bias and corruption that paganism brings into the house of God, for that is what eventually leads the contaminated worshipers into bondage. Paganism is to the church what corruption is to the government. And I venture to say that if a nation that was founded on Judeo Christian values, is now under a corrupt government, it is as a direct result of the paganism that contaminates the churches that exist within that nation that are supposed to promote biblical values instead of the human paganism that fosters and tolerates corruption. Think of that, the condition of the church is reflected by the condition of the government that rules over the nation where those churches minister. Makes you wonder, doesn’t? If we want to rid our governments of corruption, then we need to rid ourselves of paganism! It could be just as simple as that. Back to Other Teachings
