Top of Page Top of Page Empowering Prayers Freedom from Masonic Curses SAY THIS OUT LOUD: Father God, creator of heaven and earth, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ your Son. I come as a sinner seeking forgiveness and cleansing from all sins committed against You, and others made in Your image. I honor my earthly father and mother and all my ancestors of flesh and blood, and of the spirit by adoption and godparents, but I utterly turn away from and renounce all their sins. I forgive all my ancestors for the effects of their sins on me and my children. I confess and renounce all of my own sins. I renounce and rebuke Satan and every spiritual power of his affecting me and my family. I renounce and forsake all involvement in Freemasonry or any other lodge or craft by my ancestors and myself. In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce and cut off Witchcraft, the principal spirit behind Freemasonry, and I renounce and cut off Baphomet, the spirit of Antichrist and the spirits of Death, and Deception. I renounce the insecurity, the love of position and power, the love of money, avarice or greed, and the pride which would have led my ancestors into Masonry. I renounce all the fears which held them in Masonry, especially the fears of death, fears of men, and fears of trusting, in the name of Jesus Christ. I renounce every position held in the lodge by any of my ancestors or myself, including "Master," "Worshipful Master," or any other. I renounce the calling of any man "Master," for Jesus Christ is my only Master and Lord, and He forbids anyone else having that title. I renounce the entrapping of others into Masonry, and observing the helplessness of others during the rituals. I renounce the effects of Masonry passed on to me through any female ancestor who felt distrusted and rejected by her husband as he entered and attended any lodge and refused to tell her of his secret activities. I also renounce all obligations, oaths and curses enacted by every female member of my family through any direct membership of all Women's Orders of Freemasonry, the Order of the Eastern Star, or any other Masonic or occultic organization. • IT IS THE ANOINTING OIL THAT BREAKS THE | HoFM

Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY IT IS THE ANOINTING OIL THAT BREAKS THE YOKE Zechariah 2:5 “For I, says the Lord, will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.” The ministry of anointing with oil is one of the most mysterious things that we can find in the Bible, yet it is one of the most powerful. The anointing oil can be applied to kings, to priests, to sacraments, to places, and as we see in our opening text, to cities as well. In the case of Jerusalem, we cannot see it with our carnal eyes, but God has anointed that city and if we could look through the eyes of the Spirit, we would see the anointing that covers Jerusalem as a wall of fire that surrounds her and covers her with God’s mighty protection. Isaiah 10:27 “It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.” But more important of all, as far as we humans are concern, the anointing with oil has the power to deliver us from the burden of transgression and the yoke of slavery to sin. James 5:14-15 “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” What is the mystery of the anointing with oil besides what might be obvious to us? I spent many a times praying for people who were in need of deliverance from demonic strongholds, and one of the many things that I learned in my dealings with those oppressive demonic entities, was how demons perceive humanity and our physical realm from their underworld perspective, we need to remember that they live in a totally different dimension than we do. I believe that when demons look at us humans what they mainly see is an aura around us that may differ in intensity as well as in color, and that is how they perceive the human condition. Since we humans are two thirds spirit and one third human, for we are made of spirit, soul, and body, what demons mainly see when they look at us, is our own spiritual orb that surround us. So that if we are walking under Christ’s anointing, and since Christ means Anointed One, when a demon looks at us under the anointing, they cannot tell whether it is us or Jesus Christ who they are facing. Luke 10:19-20 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions (demonic entities), and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in Heaven.” I believe that what Jesus is teaching us in Luke 10 is that as born-again believers, born again means to be born of the Spirit of God, there is an aura around us that all spirits recognize and that they must submit to. In other words, Jesus is telling us not to rejoice in the fact that we have power over the demonic spirits, but rather, that we rejoice in the anointing that is over us and that covers us, because of our position in the spiritual realm due to the Anointed One dwelling in us through His Spirit. Psalm 105:15 “Saying, ‘Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.’” So that there is a de-facto anointing that personally covers all born again believers and that all demonic entities must recognize. But the ministry of the anointing with oil varies greatly and the greater our understanding of how it works the more powerful and effective that we can become in our ministries, and the better that we can protect ourselves, our families, and our properties from the evil one. Let us take a look at a few of the many applications of the anointing with oil. Let us begin with the anointing for peace. Jeremiah 29:7 “And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.” One thing that I do recommend for churches to do, and individual believers as well, is to take oil and anoint the places where your city begins and ends, what the Bible calls the city gates or entrances. The way that we did it in the past is to go east and west, and north and south of the city, and pour anointing oil on the entrances of our city and pray for God’s anointing of peace to dwell in that city where we live. Then we proceed to anoint our property lines, by pouring anointing oil all around the perimeter of what we own or rent, the place where we live, and we pray for God’s protection over it and ask for His peace to abide there as well. Why is that important? Romans 8:21 “Because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” Since we, the children of God, are walking under the liberating covering of God’s anointing that preserves us from the corruption of this world, we can proclaim liberty over the part of the creation that we do occupy. How does that work, spiritually speaking? 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks (roams) about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” Since wicked spirits tune in to areas that emanate gloominess and darkness, where spiritual disorder and chaos reigns, and since they roam about looking for innocent victims that they can lure into their traps without repercussions, it is important for the believers that inhabit those areas to anoint with oil those same areas that they occupy. Spirits can instantly discern the places where believers have prayed for God’s peace to reign, and if they anointed the places where they prayed with oil, that anointing oil in the spiritual realm, shines like a mighty fire from God that warns those malevolent sprits to watch out, for there is swift retribution coming their way if they trespass over the anointing that covers those areas that believers have placed under their anointing. Is the same for our homes, where we have anointed our boundaries with anointing oil, for it will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst. We are also to anoint our home with oil both inside and out, now why do we need to do that? Deuteronomy 23:14 “For the Lord your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that He may see no unclean thing among you, and turn away from you.” Just like the anointing oil shines in the spiritual realm to drive away predators, it also serves as a welcome sign for God’s holy angels that also move around the earth to do God’s bidding. But even more precious than that, God takes pleasure in walking is our midst during our times of repose, and a home or a room where the anointing oil has been placed indicates to our Lord that this place has been reserved for His presence, and that He is always welcome there. And then we are also to anoint ourselves personally as a sign of gratitude before the Lord, to show not only to ourselves, but to show others as well, and to show God Himself, that we will always belong to Him, our entire person, spirit soul and body are His habitation. Isaiah 65:16 “So that he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from My eyes.” What is it in us that is hidden from God’s eyes? And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil. The true anointing, for that is what we bless ourselves with while here in the earth, covers all of our infirmities and sins, the burden of sin and the yoke of oppression that is still in our mortal flesh and are driven away by the anointing oil that we bless ourselves with. Mark 6:13 “And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.” The anointing oil preserves us until the day of redemption. Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Jesus the Anointed One walked about doing good and searching for those who were oppressed by the devil, and then He set them all free, for God was with Him. 2 Corinthians 1:21 “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God.” The same God that anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power to drive out all the workers of iniquity, is the same God that has anointed us in Jesus Christ His anointed One in order for us to drive out all the workers of iniquity in our sphere of influence as well. And it is through the power of His anointing oil that the yoke will be destroyed. Pray as to what type of oil the Lord wants you to use, I usually get extra virgin olive oil which I can buy in the market and is not too expensive for me, but you can use whatever is available to you and that you believe it is acceptable before God. Get the oil, bring it before the Lord and ask Him to bless it, after it is blessed do not use that consecrated oil for nothing else but for anointing purposes. Back to Deliverance Ministry

  • GATES: SPIRITUAL PORTALS | HoFM

Top of Page OTHER TEACHINGS GATES: SPIRITUAL PORTALS Genesis 28:16-19 “Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, ‘Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.’ And he was afraid and said, ‘how awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven (spiritual portal)!’ Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it. And he called the name of that place Bethel (house of God); but the name of that city had been Luz previously.” From the experience of Jacob that is recorded in the Scripture above, we can glean a tremendous amount of information in regards to the nature and function of spiritual portal s, otherwise known as gates. Gates Have to be Revealed! As soon as Jacob awoke from his dream, astonished by the presence of God that was there, his comment was, I did not know it. What he meant was that he had spent time in that place previous to going to sleep, and had it not been for the dream that revealed to him the significance of that place, in the natural, he would have never known that a spiritual portal existed right there in his encampment. So that the first thing we learn from Jacob’s experience is that spiritual portals have to be revealed to us. We can be standing right next to one, and in the natural we would not have a clue that it is even there. Gates are to be Respected! Now the next paragraph in the story tells us why perhaps these gates are hidden out of our natural sight, He was afraid. In nature there are places that are common and places that are special. Places of special significance are set apart because of their beauty or maybe, their historical value, or something that makes them special. So that out of respect, these certain areas are protected from common use. It is the same in the spiritual realm, wherever there is a spiritual portal, God attaches a special significance to that place, so that to those that are made aware of their existence, an awesome sense of fear and respect for that place arises within them instantly. Gates are Awesome Places! Jacob knew immediately after waking up that this place was no ordinary place, in astonishment he uttered this words, how awesome is this place. What made this place awesome to Jacob was that he found God’s presence there. We find this to be truth, that wherever there is a spiritual portal, the presence of God will be there in Spirit form. Gates are Openings into the Spiritual Realm! The physical and spiritual realm, though intertwined, are separated by walls that do not allow much interaction between the two, it is only through gate of heaven passages that such interaction is allowed to take place. Gates are to be Anointed! These gates of heavenly passages are special, not only for their importance, rarity, awesomeness, as well as for the access that they afford us to the Spirit of God, but also for the anointing that flows from them; because through these open gates God’s anointing flows. Jacob poured oil on top of it to signify that fact, for it was well known to our forefathers that it is the anointing that breaks the yoke. Gates Have Names that Designate their Assignment! As Jacob poured oil upon the rock that had been his pillow while having the dream, he called that place Bethel which means house of God, to designate that this was a gate that lead to God’s dwelling place, since he had witnessed God’s holy angels ascending and descending to the very throne of God. Gates are a Place of Spiritual Enlightenment! God’s anointing equates to God’s enlightenment, so that when an open gate is revealed, if those to whom the portal is revealed follow the proper protocol; I mean, they respect it, their in awe of their significance, they realized that a door has been opened for them to access the spiritual realm, they anoint it or make it special in their hearts. Then, their understanding will be opened to the nature (name) of that opening and they will be able to appropriate its functions. But the name of that city had been Luz previously. Although Jacob called that place Bethel or the house of God, due to his personal experience there, that place had being previously named Luz which means light or enlightenment. So that gates may go by different names to those who have their own experience, yet the function of the gate will certainly be the same. Acts 17:26-28 “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being...” Gates are all Over the Earth! Wherever men have settled on all the face of the earth, God has placed gates, and has determined their pre-appointed times, and according to His wisdom, He has set up the boundaries of their dwellings for the purpose of enticing men to seek the Lord, to seek His anointing, to seek His enlightenment, to grope for Him (if they have to, like a blind person would) and find Him, although He is never far from us. What Happens if we Find a Gate? Isaiah 28:6 “For a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and for strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.” God’s enlightenment will always lead us to make the right decisions. In other words, the spirit of justice allows us to make the right judgments. The anointing on the other hand, enables us with the strength needed to turn back the spiritual battle at the source, before it gets near to us. Isaiah 29:21 “Those who with a word make a man out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court (the gate) and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice.” Where is it that Satan makes his accusations against us? Is it not before the heavenly court, which is just another name for gate or portal? Do we not have access to the same heavenly court with our very own advocate by our side, even Jesus? So here is a revelation, we just found an open gate, and is the name of Jesus that grants us access to God’s heavenly court, where we can silence our accusing enemy with the blood of Jesus and by the word of our testimony. Amos 7:13 “But never again prophesy at Bethel, for it is the king's sanctuary, and it is the royal residence.” Centuries later, at Bethel, a wicked king tried to silence one of God’s prophets from accessing the gate at the house of God. Read the response of the holy prophet. Amos 7:12-17 “Then Amaziah said to Amos: ‘Go, you seer! Flee to the land of Judah. There eat bread, and there prophesy. But never again prophesy at Bethel, For it is the king’s sanctuary, and it is the royal residence.’ Then Amos answered, and said to Amaziah: ‘I was no prophet, nor was I a son of a prophet, but I was a sheep-breeder and a tender of sycamore fruit. Then the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said to me,’ ‘Go, prophesy to My people Israel.’ Now therefore, hear the word of the LORD: you say, ‘Do not prophesy against Israel, and do not spout against the house of Isaac.’ Therefore thus says the LORD: ‘Your wife shall be a harlot in the city; your sons and daughters shall fall by the sword; your land shall be divided by survey line; you shall die in a defiled land; and Israel shall surely be led away captive from his own land.’” Is that the way to talk to a priest or what? Amos, being a true prophet of the Living God, was under the anointing and enlightenment of God, as such, he understood the severity of the charges against him, by no less than the priest of Bethel, the very man who sat at the spiritual gate of the city, who was trying hard to silence him. The priest of Bethel was in violation of God’s Word according to Isaiah: those who with a word make a man out to be guilty. So that Amos rebuke and judgment against priest Amaziah was swift and harsh. I guess we can say that he nipped it on the bud, before it left the gate. Is it not what this lesson is all about? To silence the enemy and the avenger at the gate? 1 Corinthians 2:14-15 “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual (battles at the gate) judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.” Glory to God, in Jesus mighty name we thank you Lord for awesome is Your name, and awesome is Your presence at the gate. • SPIRITUAL WARFARE BY PASTOR MARCOS | HoFM

Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY SPIRITUAL WARFARE Jonah 2:8 “Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.” NIV Who could imagine that one simple verse of Scripture could pack so much truth. If you want a definition that will tell you the nuts and bolts of spiritual warfare, Jonah nailed it right on the head. There was once a man that was brought to the altar where a well-known evangelist was praying for the people after a service and the man’s family told the evangelist that the family member they brought before him was troubled by a demon, the evangelist laid his hands on the man’s head and said: In the name of Jesus I command you to leave this man right now, to which the man that was being prayed for responded while pointing at his own head; you stay right there you hear. It was kind of funny when the evangelist told the story many years later; but in reality that is at the root of why so many Christians fail in their battles to conquer their demonic tormentors. All the spiritual warfare tools at your disposal are of no avail if your right hand is telling the enemy to leave, meanwhile your left hand is telling your enemy to stay. Jonah did not just stumble into this revelation by chance, it was revealed to him while dealing with the consequences of his disobedience to God. Jonah 2:2 “...I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction, and He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and You heard my voice.” Jonah had some issues that he needed to work out, probably the most pressing of his issues was that he did not see eye to eye what the will of God was for his life. He was called to be a prophet, and when God sent him on an assignment that he personally disagreed with, he decided to go on a different direction. But even in his disobedience there was something that Jonah knew that perhaps many believers today do not know. And that is that when they are in open rebellion to the will of God for their lives, in reality what they are actually doing is getting deeper into idolatry and witchcraft. 1 Samuel 15:23 “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” The reason that Jonah said that those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs was because that is exactly what he had done; he had rejected the Word of the Lord for him, and just like it cost Saul his kingship it almost cost Jonah his life. The difference between Jonah and Saul was that Jonah understood what his sin of rebellion had caused and he repented, but as far as king Saul was concern even to his bitter end he consulted a witch in his search for God. The king could not tell the difference between light and darkness. Jonah 2:9 “But I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.” There are two crucial points that we need to learn if we are going to be successful in spiritual warfare: Number one is repentance, once our stubbornness and rebellion is exposed, we need to offer the sweet sacrifice of repentance and thanksgiving to the real God, the God that is convicting us by pointing out to us our sin. The second point is that it behooves us to recognize that Salvation can only come from God. Now stay with me, there is something deeper here that we need to understand because this is not as simple as we think it to be. In the spiritual realm there are only two forces at work that war against one another, light and darkness. You may say, well that is easy, not so, specially when the creatures of darkness can transform themselves into something that they are not, creatures of light. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” After reading those three verses we realize that spiritual warfare is not as easy as recognizing the difference between day and night, is it? But here is the key, in the end their work will always be one of rebellion against the Word of God. Once Jonah realized that, it was not hard for him to understand that repentance was more than being sorry for his rebellion but that it also required him to become obedient to the call of God, for after all obedience is better than sacrifice. Now let us examine how was it that Jonah got into the predicament that he got into, in other words, why did he disobey God’s plan for his life to begin with? Jonah 4:1-2 “But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he became angry. So he prayed to the Lord, and said, ‘Ah, Lord, was not this what I said when I was still in my country? Therefore I fled previously to Tarshish; for I know that You are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, One who relents from doing harm.’” Here Jonah really gets into what was really bothering him; God had called him to intercede for some really bad people and was told to go and preach to them that God was about to destroy them for the evil that they were perpetrating. Jonah, knowing that God is a merciful God who is full of compassion, One who relents from doing harm, thought that if he preached and they repented, that God would forgive them, and Jonah did not want that to happen and that is the reason why he fled to begin with. Here is the point that we need to glean and it comes from God’s very own perspective, not Jonah’s; Spiritual Warfare is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers! How can one be in the light of God’s mercy while wishing for the destruction of our fellow humans that walk in the darkness of this age? If God has been a merciful God to me, and He has, does He not want to show mercy also to my enemies who walk in darkness? What if He asks me to pray for those who have really hurt me? I know that He is a merciful God and that if I pray for them, and they repent, that He will forgive them immediately. But is that what I really want in my heart? Do I long for their pardon as much as God does? 1 John 2:9-10 “He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now (still in darkness). He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him (has been set free from idolatry. Zephaniah 1:3).” 1 John 4:20 “If someone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” So far the two aspects of spiritual warfare that we are discussing have to do with light and darkness. And the question that we pose is, if Satan and his ministers can transform themselves into creatures of light, how can we know whether we are walking in the light of God’s truth or abiding in the darkness of this world without even knowing it? And the answer is clear, if our focus is on the flesh, what transpires through the agency of man, then we are still in darkness. But if our focus is on the unseen, on what is taking place behind the curtains If you will, then we are poised to receive the revelation that comes to those who are abiding in the light of the truth of the Word of God. Let me bring this down to our present-day reality and try to explain why understanding spiritual warfare is so critical for us in the here and now. 1 Timothy 3:1, 5 “But know this, that in the last days (our present time) perilous times will come...having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” Here is what the light of the truth of the Word of God says, from such people turn away. So that when it comes to spiritual warfare, people are not the cause of the problems that we are facing as it pertains to who our enemies are, but the people that deny the reality of the spiritual problems that we are facing, from them we are to stay away, simply because they represent the false light. You see if there is no hell, that means that there is no spiritual warfare, so that by hanging out with that crowd you are out of the game before it even starts. Jonah 1:9 “So he said to them, ‘I am a Hebrew; and I fear the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.’” In chapter one Jonah is totally honest with his fellow shipmates about his circumstance and even tells them that they have to throw him overboard if they want to save their own lives. In the verse above he makes a bold declaration of who he is and of what he believes, it makes me wonder why was Jonah really fleeing from the will of God to begin with? Isaiah 36:20 “Who among all the gods of these lands have delivered their countries from my hand, that the Lord should deliver Jerusalem from my hand?” The king of Assyria was coming against Jerusalem one day, and he was bragging about his previous conquests and ended up insulting the Lord of Hosts. The king of Israel took those insulting words before the Lord and God sent an angel against the Assyrian camp and killed one hundred and eighty five thousand from his army in one night. The Assyrian king went back to Nineveh the capitol of Assyria where he was later killed. So that there was no love lost between these two people. So that the key for understanding spiritual warfare has to do with God’s timing. There is a time for war and there is a time for peace. Hanging around those who have already made up their minds before listening to the counsel of God in any given matter is a hindrance to those whose call is to battle against the forces of darkness that abide in the spiritual realm. Here are a few things that we should know about spiritual warfare: What is under God’s covering mercy today maybe under the wheels of God’s wrath tomorrow. That which is expected of us today may not be what is expected of us tomorrow. A life boat is only good when a ship is sinking, the rest of the time is an eye sore that occupies space. Real light will always expose the works of darkness. Knowing when it is God’s time for wrath or for mercy will insure that we do what is expected of us today, even if it is totally different than that which was expected from us yesterday. Knowing when a ministry ship is sinking or stuck on a sandbar will lead us inevitably to the life boat that will preserve us from spiritual harm. That is what walking in the light means, not stumbling over the works of darkness. If the essence of spiritual warfare is for me to rid myself of the things that hinder my walk with Jesus, so that I can fulfill His calling for my life, then knowing my position within His timing for my life is critical, especially if I am to know when I am ready from His perspective to either move, stay, or to advance into a previously unknown position that He wants me to occupy. Ephesians 1:17-18 “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.” Back to Deliverance Ministry

  • WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH ETERNITY | HoFM

Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH ETERNITY? Ecclesiastes 3:11 “...Also He has put eternity in their hearts...” Have you ever wonder what you would do if all of the sudden you found yourself with an unlimited amount of time...forever? I mean, let’s really think about it, a never ending life proposition would immediately arouse in any rationally thinking mortal human a variety of questions that are very relevant to the notion of immortality. Like...What kind of immortal life are we talking about? Will it include suffering and pain? What about sorrows and sicknesses? Is there going to be torment or tormentors in such an eternity? In the absence of any of the aforementioned, will I ever get bored in such an eternity? I mean, after all is said and done, how much harp playing can one human stand? It is bound to get to you after a while, isn’t it? Eternity is something that its very hard for us mortal humans to comprehend since we are surrounded by a world that is full of beginnings and endings. We see people that are near and dear to us leave this world, and they never come back. In one sense, life is turbulent like the weather in a Midwest state, if you don’t like the present condition, just hang around, for it will change, and usually not for the better. Ecclesiastes 3:14 “I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.” If there is an alarm that rings loudly in the hearts of men it is, It shall be forever, and our text makes it clear that God does this on purpose, so that Men should fear before Him. You see, according to the Bible, the human race in general, and individuals in particular, though we all had a beginning, we will never end for we are all eternal. And we have a choice as into which eternity we eventually end up in. An eternity that once we are in it, nothing can be added to it or taken away from it. So that we should not take it lightly, because sooner or later we will all enter into that eternal place. There are two eternal places to which we can go, and the choice as to which eternal place we enter is made here on the earth before we die, for that is when we enter into eternity, right after death. Luke 16:22-23 “So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes an d saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.” Jesus is telling us that there are two clear and distinct destinations for all humans after they die and enter into their eternal abode. One is a place of comfort and the other is a place of torments, plural. Luke 16:25 “...But now he (Lazarus) is comforted and you are tormented.” And not only is Jesus telling us about the difference between the two destinations but He is also testifying to the fact that, once you get there, there is no way to get out, you are there forever. Luke 16:26 “And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.” Outside of faith, humans seem to think that once we die, since we are not in our physical bodies anymore, that we somehow are not really alive anymore and that the so-call torments of hell are not really real, but rather, something imagined. From every experience of the faithful into the spiritual realm, of which there are many Scriptural references, the spiritual realm is always a lot more real than our present reality could ever be, and that view is confirmed by our next verse of Scripture. Luke 16:27-28 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’” It does not sound like the man in the torments of hell was imagining things, if anything, he sounded very logical by saying that if he could not escape the torments that he was experiencing, that at least a warning should be sent to his five brothers that were still alive, to keep them from coming into the reality of this place of which he knew his brothers, like himself before them, did not believe existed, even though the law of Moses spoke clearly about it and warned against it. Luke 16:29 “Abraham said to him, ‘they have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’” Out of the mouth of Jesus Himself, He is telling us that failure in our part to act upon what the Scriptures teach about eternity, that if we abdicate our responsibility to choose into which eternal destiny we want to abide, in accordance with what the Scriptures teach, that that failure will cause us to forfeit God’s eternal comfort and peace and will cause us to end up in that dreaded place of torment. Now why would someone fail to act upon such important matter as the one that deals with our future eternity? They may say that they don’t believe that there is an eternity to be had, but yet our opening Scripture declares that God has put eternity into our hearts, so that right from the get go they are in violation of the Holy Scriptures. Let us look at a few Scriptures that deal with this very important subject. Revelation 20:12 “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things that were written in the books.” Let us begin by establishing the fact that there is, according to Scripture, a final day of judgment coming, that it will comprise the physically resurrected bodies of all who were dead, that have been brought back to life to stand before the great white throne of God’s final judgment, in order for them to give an account for the actions of their lives while here on earth in their physical bodies. Revelation 20:13 “The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.” Let us also establish that this judgment, although it comprises the multitudes that died throughout the ages, now appearing in their resurrected bodies, that it will be a personal judgment for each one of them individually. Each one of them standing or falling based on each one’s individual actions. Revelation 20:15 “And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” So that all of those who ignored the instructions given by the Holy Scriptures on how to have one’s name written on the Book of Life, are cast into an eternity of torments with their eternally resurrected physical bodies into an Abyss from which they can never get out of. Revelation 20:10 “The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” So now that we have seen what this one eternity looks like, let us also take a sober look at the other eternity and see what it entails. Revelation 7:9-10 “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” What a contrast! You can hear the jubilation in the voices of all the redeemed from all the ages, rejoicing in the God who saved them, and in the Lamb who had delivered them out of the trials and tribulations that this world had put them through. Revelation 7:16-17 “They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” In the book of Luke chapter 16, Jesus told us about the man that ended up in Hades, how he was tormented by the flames and its heat, and how his desire was for Lazarus to dip his hand in some water and to touch his tongue with it, to relieve some of the torment that he was suffering. Here we see the opposite, not even the rays nor the heat from the sun is able to touch them, and they neither hunger nor thirst, for to them have been opened fountains of living waters. And next we see that God wipes away every tear from their eyes; the scars caused by all their pain and sufferings are finally removed as they move into a state of perfect bliss. 1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’” Do not even think of getting bored in this eternity; we need to let go of those antiquated images of what heaven is like, you know, like sitting on a cloud playing with the harp all day long. We need to wake up to the reality of how vast and how great the present creation is, and how much more formidable and perfect the new heavens and the new earth that we will live on for eternity are going to be. Our God is so vast, His love so profound, His goodness unending, that everyday single day with Him will be a brand new exciting day filled with astonishment and unending wonders, as we behold the great and awesome marvels that He performs continuously, but most of all our daily basking in the great and perfect manifestation of His love for us. Sign me up! You say, How do I get my name written in the Book of Life? Romans 10:9-11, 13 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, ‘Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame...’ For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’” Pray this prayer: (say this outloud) Dear Jesus, I confess with my mouth that You are Lord, and I believe in my heart that God has raised You from the dead. Therefore I now confess before You that I am a sinner and I ask that You forgive me all of my sins and that You cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Thank You Lord Jesus for forgiving me all of my sins and for cleansing me from all my unrighteousness. I declare that You are God, that You are good, and that You are Holy. I declare that You are my God, that You have been good to me, and that by the precious blood that Your Son shed for me, to cleanse me from all my sins, that You have made me holy and have written my name in the Lambs Book of Life. Hallelujah! 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” God willing, I will see you all who prayed this prayer for the first time in heaven someday soon. • ACQUITTED | HoFM

Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING ACQUITTED Joel 3:21 “For I will acquit them of the guilt of bloodshed, whom I had not acquitted; for the Lord dwells in Zion.” If you’ve been watching the news and keeping track of what is going on in the holy city of Jerusalem, you have probably sensed that the Jewish nation is entering a new phase—maybe a new and final phase—in their struggles against their enemies who want to destroy them. What caught my attention on the attack against a Jewish synagogue in Jerusalem that killed five individuals and wounded many others, was the amount of blood that was shed by those who were wounded and killed. Profuse bleeding was caused since some of the weapons that were used against them were hatches, which can be used for the dismembering of physical bodies. In their many campaigns against Israel, the Palestinians have used a variety of tactics, from kidnappings, to suicide bombers, to rockets and mortar launchers against their civilian population. What makes this phase different, I think, is that in all the other campaigns against them, there was organized human leadership behind them. I believe that what is taking place right now its being fomented by spiritual forces of darkness, which are driven by pure and unadulterated hatred against the Jews in the nation of Israel. In case you have not watched the news, Jews are being run down in the streets by seemly random acts of violence, by cars and buses, and other modes of transportation driven by Palestinians that just seemed to lose their common sense and went on a killing rampage. This last attack was aimed directly at a place of worship and against those who were leading the worship, I believe the phase of this present conflict to be completely driven by satanic inspiration. Joel 3:4 “Indeed, what have you to do with Me, O Tyre and Sidon, and all the coasts of Philistia? Will you retaliate against Me? But if you retaliated against Me, swiftly and speedily I will return your retaliation upon your own head.” I believe that the Lord is speaking against the spiritual rulers of the Palestinian territory in verse four. You have to remember that in spiritual warfare, people are like pieces on a board game that the rulers of darkness move at will and to accomplish their devious purpose. By careful observation we can detect when human leaders are acting in an alliance with demonic forces to accomplish their physical objectives. That does not seem to be the case in this new pha.se of terror that is being unleash against the nation of Israel and it has Israel’s leaders very worried The reason I said that this may be the final phase of this present conflict before the Lord intervenes, is because of God’s response to these demonic entities in verse four, that He will swiftly and speedily turn their retaliation against their own heads. How do I know that what is taking place in the book of Joel chapter three has anything to do with Israel’s present situation? Joel 3:1 “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem.” In those days and at that time, it cannot be any clearer than that! When did God bring back the captives to Judah and Jerusalem? Today, in our present day! For how long were they not a nation anymore? For almost two thousand years! The only time that this specific prophecy can be fixed to a date is in our present today. And from our opening text we can safely conclude that both, the church and the nation of Israel, are present during the happenings of in those days and at that time. For I will acquit them of the guilt of bloodshed, whom I had not acquitted; for the Lord dwells in Zion. Even though the early church was comprised of a super majority of Jews, both in numbers and in leadership, the nation of Israel herself rejected Jesus as her Messiah, so that her sins were not atoned for with the blood of Jesus at that time, and that is why their temple was destroyed and their nation ceased to exist. Matthew 27:24-25 “When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude (the nation of Israel), saying, ‘I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it.’ And all the people answered and said, ‘His blood be on us and on our children.’” It is clear that the multitude which was represented by the rulers and the leaders of the nation of Israel, refused to acknowledge Jesus as their Messiah, and as one, they uttered those infamous words that cursed them with the curse of blood shedding—the shedding of their blood as well as their children's own blood. This is what I was reminded of when I saw the bloody mess all over their synagogue floor after that brutal attack. But the good news is that God Himself says that He will acquit them, the entire nation of Israel, from that awful guilt of bloodshed that their forefathers swore in an oath before Pilate. And that the acquittal will take place swiftly and speedily after these demonic entities take it upon themselves to brutally and sadistically murder Jews as an act of retaliation against God Himself. This could be one of the greatest signs that Jesus is coming soon, that we have had for a while. So keep an eye on these demonically driven acts of violence against the Jews to see whether they rise to a level of intensity to where God Himself will intervene on their behalf. What are the events that we should look for if God Himself were to intervene on Israel’s behalf at this time? Joel 3:2 “I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land.” Through all of this we cannot ignore the connection that such an event will have upon the closing of the church age, for as soon as the nation of Israel is acquitted from the guilt of bloodshed, their kingdom will be restored, which means the closing of the church age with the rapture. Acts 1:6 “Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, ‘Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom of Israel?’” The disciples clearly believed and were looking for the restoration of national Israel at that time and asked Jesus about it. Jesus did not deny nor rebuked their belief that national Israel would be restored in the future, He just told them that it was not for them to know the times and seasons which the Father has put in place, before He brings about the acquittal and restoration of the nation of Israel. Days later, after their meeting with Jesus, the disciples were gathered in Jerusalem together, waiting for the power to fall down from heaven upon them as Jesus told them it would. After the Holy Spirit fell on them, Peter stood up and quoted Joel’s prophecy that clearly ties the fate of the end of the church age with the restoration of national Israel. Joel 2:28-32 “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. (The first part of this prophecy was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost after the Holy Spirit fell on them) And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance (Acquittal), as the Lord has said, among the remnant (those who return from the dispersion) whom the Lord calls.” (The second part of this prophecy will be fulfilled on the Day of Atonement, during the Lord’s acquittal of the nation of Israel when their kingdom is restored to them.) You can see how intricately connected everything is to all that is taking place in and around the nation of Israel today. Wherever you look in the news today, you cannot escape how all the players are lining up and assuming their prophetic end-time positions. Joel 3:9 “Proclaim this among the nations: ‘Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, let them come up.’” The other unnatural part of what is going on today in the Middle East has to do with the men of war from the nations of the world who are answering the spiritual call to present themselves into that area of the world to fight a war of which they have no concept of, or part of it. These Jihadists, or holy warriors, come from many nations of the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, as well as many other nations that are in different continents. Many of these recruits have no commonality that bonds them, except one, they are answering a spiritual call to prepare for war and to draw near to a place the Lord calls the Valley of Jehoshaphat, where the Lord will enter into judgment with them there on account of His people. It always amazes me how the complex issues that befuddle so many who try to interpret the motives behind the irrational acts of so many, can only be truly interpreted through the enlightenment of Scripture. As the acquittal of those whom the Lord had not previously acquitted draws near, so does our redemption. Are you ready? Back to End Times Teachings

  • GODS DWELLING PLACE renamed | HoFM

Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY GOD’S DWELLING PLACE Psalm 43:3 “Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle (dwelling place).” There has always been oppression from God’s enemy Satan against those whose desire is to do God’s will. In many instances some even experience greater persecution than others. It is like that today as well. But there is a kind of persecution that those who experience it, feel like they have been personally targeted. And it soon becomes obvious to them that in order for them to be delivered from such persecution that they need to be personally vindicated. 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear (endure) it.” It is true that all persecution is such as that which is common to man. But it is also true that some are able to endure more than others, so that the intensity of the persecution may vary from one individual to another. 2 Corinthians 12:7 “And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.” It is also true that for those who are seeking and receiving spiritual revelation from the Lord, in order to keep their pride at bay, the Lord allows them to endure greater persecution than others, but never more than that which they are able to endure. We see this with people who are placed in high positions of spiritual authority. They have to endure greater waves of persecution, in order to keep them from giving into the pride that follows their high position which would cause them to fall. That is why the Bible warns against installing untested novices in high positions of authority, for they will not be able to endure the level of persecution that naturally follows such high positions. Psalm 43:1 “Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!” It is clear from the opening of Psalm forty-three, that the psalmist is dealing with the kind of persecution that has targeted him personally. Here we see an opportunity to learn how to deal with this kind of personal persecution and how to discerned the difference between this kind of persecution and that which is common to man. It appears that the origin of this temptation was an ungodly nation who had targeted individuals like the writer of the Psalm for personal attacks. It also involved a deceitful and unjust man who was personally, unjustly, and deceitfully, attacking the writer of this Psalm and those like him. Psalm 42:10 “As with a breaking of my bones, my enemies reproach (revile) me, while they say to me all day long, ‘Where is your God?’” The difference between the temptations which are commonly natural to all believers, and the persecutions that arise out of an ungodly nation is the unleashing of the demonic hordes that are able to afflict a nation who has turned from God to the wickedness of this world. Proverbs 14:34 “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” These demonic hordes target those who are spiritual and who are able to warn the nation of the dangers into which it has fallen. Judge, after judge, after judge, keep ruling against the will of the American people. It seems that no matter what good moral laws we pass, what constitutional amendments we write and vote into law, all it takes is one federal judge to declare it null and void. The high stakes of this spiritual warfare are enormous, for the future of the nation, and to a lesser degree, the future of the world is being decided. Psalm 43:2 “For You are the God of my strength; why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?” Like the psalmist, we end up feeling rejected and left out by God Himself. How can we stand up against these demonic hordes that are running rampant against our nations? Let’s take another look into our opening text. Psalm 43:3 “Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle.” Light, or enlightening truth from God is the only thing that is able to drive away any and all demonic hordes from our midst. However this powerful force of deliverance needs a dwelling place, a tabernacle in this earth in order to be successful. In order to become a tabernacle for God’s delivering power, we have to enter into His holy hill and abide with Him in His tabernacle. We dealt with this in the previous lesson; according to Psalm 24, only those who have clean hands and a pure heart, who have not lifted up their souls to idols nor sworn deceitfully are able to receive this power. Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.” Now, more than ever before, fellowship with this world system can have disastrous consequences on our ability to powerfully intercede against all the evil forces that war from within our nations governments against the Word of God. So that we see the interaction between the corporal and the individual. The ungodly nation and the deceitful and unjust man. David was just an individual, but he refused to compromise with the sin of idolatry. God rewarded his faithfulness by making him king of the nation of Israel, and David drove that nation into its highest glory. Saul, the first king of Israel became an idolater—for his disobedience was as the sin of witchcraft—and he severely and personally persecuted David aiming to destroy his life. How did David overcome the personal persecution that aimed to destroy him personally and the purpose that God had for David’s life? Psalm 26:4-5 “I have not sat with idolatrous mortals, nor will I go in with hypocrites, I have hated the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked.” Notice how David begins Psalm twenty-six the same way that the other psalmist began Psalm forty-three, Vindicate me, O Lord. Psalm 26:1 “Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity. I have also trusted in the Lord; I shall not slip.” Under king Saul, both the nation and the king persecuted David, for Saul pursued David with Israel’s army for the purpose of killing him. David prayed to the Lord, and I’m paraphrasing: Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have not walked in their idolatry; that is what he meant by I have walked in my integrity. He continued, I did not sit with them, and I will not sit with them, the idolaters and the evil doers. I will not be a part of their wickedness, no matter how much it costs me. David triumphed over the man by refusing to partake in his idolatry, and by faithfully waiting on God and not taking matters into his own hands. He pleased God—and God gave to him the nation of Israel as his reward. The greatest desire of David’s heart was to build a dwelling place for the glory of God to rest while here on the earth! It is safe to say that God had already found a dwelling place here on the earth in the heart of David. Psalm 43:4 “Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy; and on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.” It does not matter whether it is David, the sons of Korah, or us; when we make our God our exceeding joy, renounce all idolatries, and cry out to God for vindication—God’s dwelling place takes residence within us. The anointing oil distilled from the fragrance of our songs of praise breaks off the oppression of the enemy and we are able to enter into the hill of the Lord with thanksgivings in our hearts. Isaiah 61:3 “To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” There is no doubt that the nations of the world that once honored the Gospel of Jesus Christ, have turned their backs on the God of the Gospel; they have decided to follow the god’s of their own making and imaginations. They now live with open reproach and contempt against those of us who have kept the faith of our founding fathers. They have elected for themselves leaders that represent their contempt against us in the way they govern. They have deceived and continued to deceive those who should know better, into keeping them in power. They have no regard for truth. They do not care how much misery they inflict upon those whom they deceive. Their hatred towards God has no bounds since their father is the devil, who was a liar and a murderer from the very beginning. But we know them, we know the spirits that drive them, and we have no part with them. Let the dead bury their own dead. As for us, this is our heartfelt prayer: Oh Lord, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead us. Let Your light and Your truth bring us into Your holy hill and into Your tabernacle. Psalm 25:4-5 “Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all day.” Back to Deliverance Ministry

I have gone in my mind from the scenario of getting all my family together in one place while we anxiously await for Jesus to appear in the clouds to take us with Him, to the thought of what type of fate would be left for my dog and my bird, if it were to happen that they get left behind after we are raptured? The one question that always seems to reign supreme is this one: What will my response be as my mortality is overwhelmed by His holiness? I believe that the main reason why God gave me a vision of the rapture the early morning of February 12, 1989, was so that I could have a very personal understanding of this basic question. Jesus is able To present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Imagine the myriad of feelings that we all would be experiencing if we knew with certainty that we were about to meet Jesus face to face. In my vision, the holiness of Jesus made every cell in my body become unglued, my body was trembling so violently as He was approaching me that it became undone, my mind was trying to decide what to do in the face of such overwhelming feelings of joy and fear, but my spirit just began to shout, Hallelujah He kept His promised, the closer that Jesus came the louder that my spirit got, as I kept repeating, Hallelujah He kept His promised, over and over again, till I was raptured. You can read about the entire vision in the opening pages of my book Man’s Final Destiny, in the books section of houseoffaithministries.org In our opening Scripture we get to see the other side of the equation, and it is amazing to see that Jesus is just as excited as we are if not more, for we are told that He is coming after us with Exceeding joy; do you remember how Scripture tells us that for the joy that was set before Him He endured the cross? Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” So that in reality, Jesus is a lot more excited to meet with as than we are to meet with Him, for in our frailties we fear His holiness, yet He is so eager to reveal His grace to us and to present us faultless before His glorious Father who gave us to Him as His bride for eternity. Once we understand that our humanity, along with its many frailties is not an issue to Him, for He understands us perfectly, then we can put our emphasis on what we really need to do in order to be ready at His appearing, let’s not forget that not all of the virgins were ready. Jude 20 “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” In my vision of the rapture it was my spirit who took charge, for the promises of God are spiritual, and my spirit who was made alive by the Word of God, and was baptized, plunged into the Body of Jesus by the Holy Spirit back when I became a born again Christian, immediately recognized that Jesus was just fulfilling His promises, therefore I was able to shout Hallelujah, He is just doing what He promised that He would do, and there is no doubt in my spirit-man that He will keep His promises, for it is the Holy Spirit in us who knows the mind of God. How do we build ourselves up? How do we prepare ourselves for His coming? We believe within our hearts that what He promised in His Word, He is able to fulfill, that is how our faith becomes most holy, that is, separated from the circumstances around us. Then we can pray in the Holy Spirit, and He will reveal what the will of God is for us. We know that God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and since God has not appointed us to wrath, then we are praying His will for us when we ask Him to take us out before His day of wrath is set to begin. Let us make sure that we know the Word and the promises of God for us in Spirit and in Truth, not only in our minds, but within our hearts as well, live it out, let His promises become real to you, and when the time comes, they will not let you down, for His strength will be made perfect in whatever weaknesses remain in us at the time of His coming. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Read the promises, hear the promises, see the promises, believe in the promises deep within your hearts, do not let doubt anywhere near them. Jude 21 “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” God’s promises will keep us in His love and looking for His mercy. Once we become settled in the fact that because we have repented and confessed all our sins before Him, and have accepted His forgiveness for all of our sins that the atoning blood of Jesus purchased for us, we keep ourselves in His love by looking for His mercy to be revealed to others as well, for if He is not willing that any should perish, then neither should any of us be willing to let those around us perish for lack of the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for them. It is hard to preach what we are not practicing, but if we truly believe that the return of our Savior is imminent, and we are preparing ourselves for His soon return, then telling others about the blessed hope that we are eagerly awaiting and expecting should be relatively easy for us. Jude 22-23 “And on some have compassion, (doubters) making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.” Some of the people that we will be targeting for prayer before the Lord returns, family, friends, acquaintances, will have different issues that they will be dealing with, that when the return of Jesus becomes evident might prevent them from calling on the name of the Lord to be saved. To the doubters we speak the Word of Truth, we simply show them God’s promises being fulfilled right before their eyes, that was how Thomas stopped doubting when confronted with the evidence that Jesus was alive and standing right before him. Revelation 6:16 “And said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!’” When the awesomeness of the Lord is revealed to the nations before His judgments begin, the natural human response will be fear, a fear that will drive the populace to run to the bomb shelters, away from Him instead of running to Him. That is where we come in, if we know which promise of Scripture to direct them to, and if we have been praying for them like we should, then the Holy Spirit has already prepared their hearts to receive our message, for that is how everybody gets saved, people start praying for them and then those who proclaim God’s Word to them reap the harvest. Joel 2:31-32 “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved…” We convert the doubters with the truth, Jesus may seem like an alien to them, for they do not truly know Him, but to us Jesus is our confidence and our salvation, our peace and our refuge, a refuge into which we invite them by explaining to them that they must repent and call on the name of the Lord out loud if they want to be saved. The sinners are converted by their fear, they know that the wrath of the Lamb is imminent, real, and weighting heavy upon them, in their trembling we reach out to them with the Gospel, and by doing so it will be like pulling them out of the fire of hell itself. But we must be convinced of what we believe if we want to be effective, this is why first responders train over and over again in realistic situations, so that when faced with a real emergency their training takes over and they do their jobs without been overwhelmed by the situation or circumstances that they are faced with. For us, our spiritual training involves us constantly praying in the Holy Spirit, driven by His mercy towards us and others, and out of our deep desire to be with Him for ever and ever. Genesis 5:24 “And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” Jude 14 “Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints.’” The return of the Lord will be a very real event, it will take place very soon, maybe sooner than most realize. All the true believers (those who keep His Word and have not denied His name/deity) will be taken up with Him in the rapture, but many who call themselves Christians will be left behind, this is what the Bible says right now to the Christians that will not go up in the rapture if it were to take place today. Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” The Laodicea church is told that: Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—I counsel you to buy from Me gold (salvation) refine in the fire… Revelation 3:17-18 There is a church that has closed its doors to the Lord, is the Laodicea church, and Jesus is knocking on their door right now, He is telling them that without Him they have nothing, for they are naked, blind, and poor. It may be that these are some of the people that will be converted when Jesus is first revealed before the rapture takes place, maybe that the only way that they will hear Him knock is when the see Him in the clouds. If you have been trusting in man-made religious traditions, they will not suffice when the sky recedes as a scroll and the wrath of the Lamb is ready to be unleashed. Now is the time to open the door of your heart to the trustworthiness of His promises, to embrace His deity and the inerrancy of Scripture, just look around you, we are living in the end of the age, do not be swept away by their demonic deluge of lies. Jude 4 “For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.” Back to End Times Teachings

  • COVENANT PRAYER FOR THE INTER... | HoFM

Top of Page Top of Page Empowering Prayers Covenant Prayer for the Intercessor SAY THIS OUT LOUD: This prayer is based on Daniel’s intercession for Israel and has been modified (brackets) for our present day intercession. Daniel 9:2-19 “In the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to (Joel the prophet, that in the last days You would pour out of your spirit on all flesh) Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes. I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed: O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with all who love him and obey his commands, we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. Lord, you are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame (no dominion power) the men of (our communities) Judah and people of (our churches) Jerusalem and all (our nation) Israel, both near and far, in all the countries where you have scattered us because of our unfaithfulness to you. O LORD, we and our kings, our princes and our fathers are covered with shame because we have sinned against you. The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him; we have not obeyed the LORD our God or kept the laws he gave us through his servants the prophets. All (your church) Israel has transgressed your law and turned away, refusing to obey you. Therefore the curses and sworn judgments written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against you. You have fulfilled the words spoken against us and against our rulers by bringing upon us great disaster. Under the whole heaven nothing has ever been done like what has been done to (in our present situation) Jerusalem. Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us, yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth. The LORD did not hesitate to bring the disaster upon us, for the LORD our God is righteous in everything he does; yet we have not obeyed him. Now, O Lord our God, who (saved us) brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. O Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from (us your church) Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our fathers have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us. Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, O Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary. Give ear, O God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city (church) that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. O Lord, listen! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, hear and act! For your sake, O my God, do not delay, because your (church) city and your people (Christians) bear your Name.” Psalm 119:126 “It is time for you to act, O LORD; your law is being broken.” AMEN! • DO YOU BELIEVE THAT GOD IS ABLE? | HoFM House of Faith Ministries

Top of Page Lecture Hall Archives DO YOU BELIEVE THAT GOD IS ABLE? Matthew 9:28 “And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ They said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord.’” Have you ever wonder what faith really is? What is biblical faith, and how do I know if I have it? I am sure that we all have our own personal understanding of what faith is to us, but I wonder if we can all come to a general understanding of the Bible’s definition of faith, or what I call biblical faith. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance (realization) of things hoped for, the evidence (confidence) of things not seen.” In the Bible’s own definition of what faith is, we see two basic components working together, and I believe that if we are able to understand their interactions, it will make us more capable, if you will, to overcome those situations where only faith can deliver us. But before we look at these two components, let’s get a biblical perspective first, of how the basic principles of faith work. Romans 10:17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” I believe that the difference between listening and hearing is that when we hear something it has the connotation that we understand what we are hearing. When we hear a familiar sound we are able to understand where it is coming from and what it is. For example if we hear a baby crying or laughing we can respond appropriately. In the same manner if we hear sounds that we are not familiar with or know from where they originate, then we are clueless as to what is going on and have no idea as how to respond. So that faith rests on the foundation of knowledge. Theoretically speaking, the more that we know the more that we are able to believe, but there is a double implication to that theory, the more that somebody else knows, the more that we are able to believe in their abilities as well. Let us use a natural example of that theory: Two men are riding in a car when the motor stops working, they open the hood and look at the engine to see if they can find out what is wrong and if it can be fixed. Do we believe that they will be able to fix the problem? I would need more information about the two men. Let’s say that one of the two men is a medical doctor. I’m pretty sure that he won’t be much help in this case, unless of course, somebody gets sick. Let’ s say that the other man is an auto mechanic, well then, that changes the whole equation doesn’t it? For even if he cannot get it fixed right there, he would probably know what the problem is and what needs to be done to get it fixed. If it was the other way around, the car is running fine, but somebody gets sick, then my money is on the doctor. That is a simple, yet powerful illustration of how faith works, we need to know, but we do not need to know everything, for it is impossible for a single human to know every craft, but we do need to know about the One that knows everything, for the more that we know about Him, the easier it is to believe that He is able to help us. Matthew 9:27 “When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, ‘Son of David, have mercy on us!’” Jesus had gone into a ruler’s house where the daughter of the ruler had died and a crowd had gathered to mourn her passing. The father of the dead daughter went to Jesus and worshiped Him and said to Him on verse 18: “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.” Obviously the two blind men were part of the crowd that had gathered at the ruler’s house, they could not physically see but they knew what the commotion was all about. When Jesus got to the house He said that the girl was not dead but sleeping, after the crowd ridiculed Him, He sent them outside of the house and proceeded to raise the girl back to life, as Jesus left the house the two blind men, after hearing what had taken place, followed Him and His disciples crying out to Him, Son of David, have mercy on us. Here we see the two sides of faith clearly displayed. A desperate father reaches out to a man, not just a man, but a man of God whom the crowds are following because He is reputed to have supernatural powers to heal all those who are brought to Him. The father cannot bring his dead daughter to Jesus, so he brings Jesus to his dead daughter. He finds himself in a desperate situation, for if Jesus does not come right away, his daughter will be buried before the sun sets, so he goes for broke and all in. No hesitation, no wondering about the divinity or genealogy of Jesus, he just comes and worships Him and tells Him that if He lays His hand on his daughter, she will live. In the other side of faith, we have two blind men attending a funeral, their advantage was that they did not use their eyes to gather information for they were blind. So that when the crowd was put outside of the house so that they could not see the miracle that Jesus did, the blind men could see what had taken place by the reaction of the crowd when the girl was presented to them alive. So they followed Jesus, reasoning that if Jesus could raise the dead He could surely give sight to the blind. So that a desperate need as well as sound reasoning are key to releasing the faith that can deliver us. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance (realization) of things hoped for, the evidence (confidence) of things not seen.” The substance of faith is in the realization of our desperate need, and the evidence is in the confidence that we show when we ask. Ephesians 3:12 “In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.” My confidence rests with His ability to do that which for me would be impossible to attain, but first I must realize that only He can deliver me. For as long as I think of a possible remedy for my situation outside of Him, there is no substance to my faith. And if there is no substance, then there can be no confidence, and without confidence there can be no boldness to access what we are in need of. Hollywood perpetrated a lie in one of their old movies that to this day many believe is a Bible verse when it is not, here is the quote: God helps those who help themselves. This is a false premise that is accepted by many people of faith as a true statement. But in reality God helps those who cannot help themselves, yet believe that God is both willing and able to help them. If you have a varmint problem, you call an exterminator. If you have a water leak, you call a plumber. If your power goes out, you call an electrician. And the reason we do that is because they are people who are trained to handle those situations, and we trust that their abilities will help us solve our problems. First we realize that we have a problem, secondly, we call on their services and trust on their abilities to fix them, but as you know if you ever hire somebody that did not live up to his credentials, it is a system that is based in trusting those whom we hire to perform. What we can draw from that is that men are fallible, but God is not. Where men will fail us for lack of honesty and or abilities, God will never do that. In order to have total and complete confidence towards God when we call on Him, we need to know about His honesty and His abilities, as one of our previous Scriptures told us: Romans 10:17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” So that when we read the Scriptures in the light of what faith teaches, we need to ask these two questions: Is God really able to do that which seems impossible, and will He do it for me? Romans 8:31-32 “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” The one thing that I failed to mention earlier when I was doing a comparison between the natural and the spiritual, was that some people cannot afford a plumber when their water main breaks, but thankfully with God all is free, for Jesus paid the price of everything that we are in need of now, and He paid it in full. So that Scripture clearly establishes that God will do the impossible for us all, and that He will also do it freely. So that the only question that remains is, does He have the power do it? Matthew 9:22 “But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, ‘Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.’ And the woman was made well from that hour.” There was a another miracle that took place in our opening text as well, a seemly unintended one. A woman that had been suffering for twelve long years with an affliction that no one could heal. She said to herself, If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well. She was made well when by faith she touched His garment. Here is what was meant by that miracle: Deuteronomy 19:15 “...By the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established.” Jesus asked the two blind men, Do you believe that I am able to do this? We have three miracles within the context of the story that testify that Jesus is more than able to do what for us it is impossible. Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (our faith).” Back to Other Teachings
