WHERE BELIEF LEADS INTO LIFE To encourage believers to understand that faith in Jesus Christ removes condemnation and brings them into the light of God’s truth. By reflecting on Scripture and the example of the woman caught in adultery, the goal is to help us recognize both our struggles and Christ’s mercy, reminding us that awareness of God’s Word exposes the heart, but also points us to the freedom found in Christ. Ultimately, the objective is to lead us toward choosing the light of Jesus, walking in His Spirit, and relying on Him daily for guidance and transformation. WHERE BELIEF LEADS INTO LIFE Minister Lisa Kane August 19, 2025 Objective: To encourage believers to understand that faith in Jesus Christ removes condemnation and brings them into the light of God’s truth. Synopsis: “Where Belief Leads: Into the Light of Christ” explores the contrast between living in light or darkness as revealed in Scripture. John 3:18–21 teaches that belief in Jesus removes condemnation, while rejecting Him leaves a person already condemned. Romans 8:1 affirms this truth, reminding believers that those in Christ walk free from guilt and shame when they live by the Spirit. The study highlights Jesus’ encounter with the woman caught in adultery (John 8:3–11) as an example of His mercy and light. Instead of condemning, Jesus exposed the hidden darkness in others and offered the woman forgiveness and a new way forward. In the same way, His Word reveals the truth in our own hearts, both in simple trust and in deeper struggles, always pointing us back to His grace. Ultimately, Jesus declares Himself the Light of the world (John 8:12), and belief in Him invites us out of darkness into life, hope, and freedom. The study closes with a prayer of surrender, asking Jesus to help us walk daily in His light. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: John 3:18-21 KJV 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Jesus states that when we believe, we’re not condemned. Is it that simple? We struggle with so many things throughout life as believers, but scripture clearly tells us we’re no longer condemned. Romans 8:1 KJV There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Jesus provided us with an example of this, and he used it as a defense against the enemy. John 8:3-11 KJV 3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Not one man could condemn her because they had darkness in their hearts. Now, Jesus didn’t expose that darkness, he just made them aware. Sometimes, we need awareness of the Word of God in our lives to help us see the things within our hearts. Simple things like the innocence of believing in the words of Jesus and heavy things that help us realize Jesus is always there with us. He is the light, and we can walk in that light too by choosing to believe in Him. John 8:12 KJV 12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Here’s a prayer to help us want to choose the light over darkness: Dear Jesus, I’m sorry for messing up. I believe that You are the Son of God and I’m asking for help. I don’t even know what to specifically ask for, but I know that You will help. In Jesus’ Name Amen! Home Previous Next
- THE RIB | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
THE RIB To reveal God’s divine design for the woman as “the helper,” formed from the rib, reflecting God’s own role as Helper. This lesson aims to show how women are uniquely created to protect, strengthen, and pray over their husbands—just as God protects, strengthens, and intercedes for His children. Through Scripture, we explore how the role of “helper” mirrors God’s nature, how the rib symbolizes covering and safeguarding, and how prayer becomes the woman’s spiritual expression of this calling. Whether married or single, every believer can commit to God as their ultimate Helper and walk in the order, strength, and blessing He designed. THE RIB Minister Lisa Kane November 19, 2025 Objective: To reveal God’s divine design for the woman as “the helper,” formed from the rib, reflecting God’s own role as Helper. Synopsis: Beloved, God did not pull the woman from Adam’s head or his feet—He drew her from the rib, the place of protection, covering, and strength. From the beginning, God revealed His heart: to be a Helper, and to place His helping nature inside the woman. Scripture shows that God Himself is called “Helper” again and again—defending the fatherless, strengthening the weak, and answering the helpless. When God created woman as “a helper comparable to him,” He was sharing His own attribute with her. This lesson walks through Genesis, Psalms, Hosea, the Gospels, and the New Testament to uncover the beauty and responsibility of that role. The enemy seeks the “helpless,” but women were not made helpless—we were made helpers, protectors, intercessors, spiritual rib-cages around our husbands. Through prayer, we guard our households, shield our husbands from attack, and stand in the gap like Jesus did when He prayed for Peter that his faith would not fail. We look at the rib as a symbol of spiritual covering, the unity of becoming one flesh, and the order God established in marriage—wives aligning under God to pray for their husbands, and husbands loving like Christ who gave Himself for the church. This divine order brings transformation to both husband and wife. Finally, the lesson embraces the single believer: God Himself becomes your Helper. The same God who defends the fatherless, strengthens the weak, and stands against every weapon formed is the One who covers you. As you commit yourself to Him, He shapes you into a vessel of love, prayer, and spiritual strength. In all things, we learn that to be “the rib” is not a position of weakness—but a position of divine power, prayer, and purpose, patterned after the very heart of God Himself. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Did you know that God is our helper? Did you know that women made of the rib are made to be helpers in our relationship with our husbands? Genesis 1:26-27 NKJV 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over [g]all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 2:20-22 NKJV 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. 21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He [h]made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. The term ‘help’ is found 28 times alone in the book of Psalms NKJV. What is the role of the ‘helper’? Psalm 10:8 NKJV 8 He sits in the lurking places of the villages; In the secret places he murders the innocent; His eyes are secretly fixed on the helpless. Our enemy is looking for the ‘helpless’ but us women were made to be helpers of our man. Psalm 10:14 NKJV 14 But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief, To repay it by Your hand. The helpless commits[a] himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless. Here we see the Psalmist saying that God is the ‘helper’ to the fatherless. God takes the role of ‘helper’ when needed, and anyone who feels ‘helpless’ can commit his or her self to God. With this, we can see the role of ‘helper’ comes from God and comes from women. Psalm 12:1 NKJV Help,[b] Lord, for the godly man ceases! For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men. Here we see David calling out on God’s ‘help’ because the godly man ceases. God is our helper and will answer our cry for help. Psalm 37:40 NKJV 40 And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him. So, woman was made from the rib of the man as a ‘helper’ to her man. And as a man and woman, both are made in the image of Him – male and female. Remember Genesis 1:27 we read earlier: 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. As a man and woman, we complete the image of God but as you also saw, men without a mate, the fatherless, and women without a mate can call on God’s help and God will be our help, completing the image that He created us to be. Hosea 13:7-9 NKJV 7 “So I will be to them like a lion; Like a leopard by the road I will lurk; 8 I will meet them like a bear deprived of her cubs; I will tear open their rib cage, And there I will devour them like a lion. The [e]wild beast shall tear them. 9 “O Israel, [f]you are destroyed, But [g]your help is from Me. There are two important points to grab from Hosea 13:7-9: First, it takes a wild beast that is strong to tear open the rib cage and second, God says the help we have is from Him. That means God has to approve the wild beast to destroy / tear us apart…as long as we’re calling on the Lord, we have God’s help. As we read earlier in Psalms: Psalm 10:14 NKJV 14 But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief, To repay it by Your hand. The helpless commits[a] himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless. The helpless commits his or herself to God and God helps. If only Israel had listened… But we can. We can commit ourselves to the Lord and have His help. Now, here is the best part of this teaching, in my opinion. Women were made from the rib. The rib cage protects vital organs inside of us. When we have our mate, we are extension of that rib cage. We can pray for our mate and keep him protected because we represent the help of the Lord. Jesus is our help and He’s praying for us. Luke 22:31-32 NKJV 31 [d]And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” Women, as we are the helper, we pray like Jesus being the ‘helper’ that we’re made to be. We pray. Mark 10:7-9 NKJV 7 ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, 8 and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” 1 Peter 2:24 NKJV 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose [a]stripes you were healed. Isaiah 54:17 NKJV 17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. The above scriptures is just a few examples of what we can pray over our man. We pray for our man that ‘no weapon formed against him shall prosper’. We pray ‘that by His stripes we are and were healed’. We pray that no man will separate us because what God brought together, no one will separate’. This is committing and applying God to our relationship as man and woman. This is why Paul says in Ephesians: Ephesians 5:22-28 NKJV 22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might [g]sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. Women, by submitting to God, you are submitting to your husband by praying over him and giving him to God. That prayer causes you to align with God and God moves through your man, changing him to ‘love’ you as Christ loves the church. He also works change in you helping you to be a better woman of God. God is a God of order. He placed this order for us to obey. Obedience is an act of commitment, and this is how we women pray for our man as the ‘helper’ God called us to be. Start praying for your man and your relationship, and watch God make changes in both of you. If you are single, know this: God is your helper. He’s praying for you. Commit yourself to Him and pray over yourself. With you and God praying over yourself, He will change you into a better person demonstrating love and all the fruit of the spirit. Home Previous Next

The goal is to encourage listeners to walk in the authority, prescriptions, and commandments of Christ, applying His word and promises to every area of their lives. I AM THE WAY Minister Lisa Kane November 10, 2024 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to lead believers into a deeper understanding of Jesus Christ as the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). It emphasizes that Jesus not only provides the path to salvation but also offers continual progress, deliverance, healing, and restoration for those who follow Him. The goal is to encourage listeners to walk in the authority, prescriptions, and commandments of Christ, applying His word and promises to every area of their lives. Synopsis: In this message, Lisa Kane unpacks the powerful declaration of Jesus in John 14:6: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me.” The teaching highlights that Jesus is more than just the access point to God—He is our ongoing progress, the truth that sets us free, and the life that sustains us. Through His obedience to the Father and His completed work on the cross, believers are redeemed, reconciled, and empowered to walk in the same authority He carried. Lisa explains how trials, persecution, and daily struggles can weigh on the soul, but the prescription Jesus gives—faith, obedience, repentance, and reliance on His name—brings victory and deliverance. Scriptures such as Psalm 35:3 and Romans 10:9 are used to show how confession and declaration of Jesus as Lord establish healing, freedom, and breakthrough. She also reminds believers of the importance of holy communion, dwelling in God’s presence, and obeying Christ’s commandments as the ongoing prescription for health and wholeness. The message weaves together biblical teaching, personal testimony, and practical application. It encourages believers to call on the name of Jesus in every area—health, finances, relationships, and spiritual growth—knowing that His Spirit dwells within us. Lisa urges listeners to embrace their identity as joint-heirs with Christ, walk in deliverance from sin and sickness, and live abundantly as a testimony to God’s glory. Ultimately, this teaching stirs faith, awakens revival, and calls for a renewed commitment to Jesus as the only way, the eternal truth, and the source of everlasting life. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this teaching on Sunday, November 10th, 2024. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word. Let your word not return void. And I pray that what we receive today in your word just ministers to our heart that it never leaves. that we know what your presence is. That we know what you have done for us. That we recognize it and honor and respect respect who you are and the prescriptions that you've given us to stand in good health with you to stand in good faith with you. to have faith, Father God, to lift you up, to bless you, to march as a saint of your army and to take back what belongs to us in the name of Jesus. Because you are a God who restores, who reconciles and we know this, Father God, and we are asking for your reconciliation. We are asking for a spirit of revival. We are asking for a spirit of repentance. We are asking for the spirit of truth to be within us, Father God, to manifest out of us. and manifest into all those around us. In the name of Jesus, we pray that your word go forth. Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Oh, I'm very excited about this teaching. Actually, I haven't even practiced it or or rehearsed it, but I know this is from the Holy Spirit, and so good. Okay, so we're going to call this I am the way. Let's go to our opening scripture here in John 14:6. Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me." Now, as a reminder, when I teach, I teach using the King James version scripture. So, when you see a word in bold, that's the word that the King James version translators chose. The words in uh parentheses come from the Strong's Hebrew or Greek dictionary. And there are other words that could have been used in lie of the bolded word. So, so I am the way. Oh, look at what the word way means. Word way is another way to look at it is your road or your progress. As you make progress in your relationship with the Lord, Jesus is saying, I am that way. I am your progress. And if you are truthful with yourself, you can look at yourself and know that he has made great progress in each of us. statement. Some more than others, but that's okay. Still making progress in this. That's what's incredible. And he says, "The truth and the life, no man comes or to go or comes to come or go unto the father but by me." So Jesus is talking to his disciples in in this section of of scripture. So let's put it in context. He is speaking to his disciples about who the father is. And they're asking, you know, well, who is the father? So he's saying if you see me and you see what I do, you will know the father. Because Jesus did everything his father asked him to do. His father asked him to go and redeem us. And Jesus said, "I have no problem with this. I'm going to go redeem them, redeem the lost." He went to the cross in full knowledge of what he was going to accomplish, knowing that he could not step away from it. He went through with it. He could have called down legions of angels and changed the whole outcome. He could have changed anything anywhere. But he went through with it. And that's very important for us to understand what Jesus says, I am the way or when he says, "I am the way." You see, when Jesus went to the cross and he did exactly what he wanted to do and he went through with it, I can't emphasize that enough. When he got to the other side, he says, "Here, I'm giving you this." We're going to get into scripture. We're going to see more of this. So, he is saying, "I'm not leaving you comfortless. I'm not leaving you without a way. I am leaving you to go to my father, but I'm making you an equal to me where you would do greater things than even I. How do I know this? We're going to see this in scripture. The other thing is when you look at when Jesus was on his way out of death because he died and he was buried for three days and he's out of that. He's ascending from that on his way up. And I've said this numerous times through several teachings and actually did a teaching on it um called my father my god. Jesus says to Mary Magdalene on the way up I go to my father your father my god your your god. So we know that if Jesus is going to imitate his father and we imitate Jesus, we can imitate God in the relationship that he's given us because he's given us a way. I'm not saying we're going to be gods. We're not. But we are adopted joint hes meaning the same authority that Jesus has ha has because he still has it. The same authority we have today. And I'm hoping to be able to teach this to you so that you can come out of whatever you're dealing with and walk in his anointing, in his freedom, in his liberty because you don't have to walk the same way the world walks. So, let's continue on in John or excuse me, look at Psalm Psalm 35:3. Draw or pour out also the spear or the lance javelin and stop the way against. Now, that way against is encountering against friendly or hostile them that persecute or run after chase me. Say unto my soul, which is my breathing creature vitality, I am thy salvation, which means something saved, delivered. Let's talk about this for a moment. When Jesus says, "I am the way," he's your progress. He's the one who's going to get you going. This psalmist is saying, "Look, I need you to stop what's coming against me, whether it's friendly or hostile. In this case, it's hostile." They're persecuting him. They're chasing him. And he's saying unto his soul, I am thy salvation. Because he's saying Jesus, he's referring to the salvation of God. And he's telling it to his soul. Remember what Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. This is very, very important that we're dealing with the mouth here. And you can see the psalmist is telling you, listen, there's things that are coming after you. They're persecuting you. It could be you. You could be persecuting yourself, not getting enough sleep, irritated by everything and anything around you. It could be the world against you. We just had the election and Trump became the victory. He's going to be the 47th president of the United States of America. And I see these people throwing themselves down on the ground like they're demonic. Actually, it reminds me of a demonic situation uh or even a 2-year-old temper tantrum. I saw one girl throw herself down, get up and run and miss the door and just face planted the edge of the door and collapsed. She she knocked herself out. the see to her in her mind using her as an example she didn't get the outcome she wanted. So she is being persecuted. You have things that are on your plate at work or you have your children or your finances or your health, whatever it may be. These are things that are on your mind that are important to you that are persecuting you. I don't have enough money for this. I don't know why my health is doing this. And these are the things that persecute. They chase after us. Look at what he's saying here. But then he says, "Say unto my soul, I am thy salvation." Because remember, Jesus lifted us up and we're equals with him. And what authority he has, we have. I know that you're probably thinking, "No, no, no. I'm not like Jesus or I cannot be like Jesus." It could be at the moment in your life, the way you're living your life, especially if you're thinking that you're thinking and you're possibly living in sin. Well, guess what? The purpose of Jesus going to the cross was to redeem you of all sin. He's done that. Now, now that you're redeemed, what do you think of that? How do you think of that? What should you do? Maybe show some respect and say, "I'm going to turn my life around. I don't want to think like that. I don't want to be like a sinner. I don't want to do that anymore. I want to say to my soul that I am saved. I am delivered." You see, the thing about deliverance ministry, let's let's get the the basics of this for just a brief moment. It's taking your thinking from thinking what is against you, focusing on the issues against you and challenging or changing that thinking to the thinking of Jesus is my Lord and Savior. So, for example, if you've gotten some rough news from the doctor, cancer, you're going through chemotherapy or anything, my mom is having to go through this and it is rough and it is rough. However, she has the right to change her thinking, saying, "I don't need to go through this. I've got the name of Jesus, and I declare the name of Jesus over my life." If you have somebody who's persecuting, your finances are persecuting you, which are based on decisions you made, but or out maybe out of circumstances, out of your hands, maybe. What you can do though is you say in the name of Jesus, I'm delivered. I'm healed. I'm set apart from that. That's what I am. The way, the truth, and the life is. You're declaring the name of Jesus with the progress report of goodness of Jesus' name of his authority over your circumstance. Now it might not happen in that moment or even two weeks but I will tell you there is a shift and sometimes it happens immediately where everything suddenly shifts for you because you declared the name of Jesus over it. Now I believe that it happens right away. Let's remember though what happened to Daniel when he went to the Lord and started fasting. The angel told him, it took him 21 days to get there. And the angel told him, I started getting here that first day when the Lord told me to come here, but I had opposition. So now we're understanding there is a spiritual opposition atmosphere going on around us. But when we declare the name of Jesus, we are free. We are no longer under the oppressive enemy pulling us down. We can be delivered, set free, healed, walk out of it. We can finally say, "I've had enough. I'm not going to take any more medications. I'm sick and tired of this. I want my stomach to be normal. I do not want to have issues with my appetite. I'm gonna live to the life fully because no matter how much medication you take, no matter how much of whatever you do, you're not going to add one extra second on your life because you will go home with the Lord when the Lord wants you to go home. The question is now, do you want to live your life now while you're in the flesh for Christ and live it fully, comfortably, pleasant, or do you want to live it in pain and suffering the way the world thinks it needs to be lived? Oh, you got cancer, you have to do the chemotherapy. Or, oh, you got diabetes, you're going to have to take those drugs. Let me let me let you in on a little secret here, my friends. God has provided the authority of his name Jesus. He has provided the herbs of the earth and he has provided a mechanism of where our bodies heal themselves. We should not be in the condition we're in. And that goes for the entire world. We should not have the health crisis we see today. And you want to know why we shouldn't see it? Is because we need more teachers and more preachers that are getting up and standing up in faith. We are the house of faith ministries. We're about faith where we stand up in faith and declare faith and atone for one another, forgive one another, love one another, love his commandments. That is the prescription that Jesus gives us to live life to its fullest, without pain, without discomfort, without hurt. That's the gift of life we have. Romans 6:23 says, "The wages of sin is death." So if we're dying, it's because we've sinned. But if you ask Jesus to forgive you, guess what? Sin's gone. Now you're living life. You should not be living the consequences of what your sin did. And it should be forgiven and nullified where it doesn't even go to your children or your grandchildren or your great-grandchildren. Do you know that we're living today this we are part of the consequences of what our greatgrandparents lived before us. So whatever sin that they were inherent upon or uh susceptible to they that influences us today. I don't even know my great-grandparents. They I knew them as a little child but I did not know them know them as an adult. So I have no idea what their life was about, but I prayed and forgave them, which breaks the chain of the consequences. So now I pray and forgive me and Jesus forgives me. So it breaks the chain so that my children, my daughter, my grandsons, and my great grandchildren that I don't have yet, if the Lord carries, they are covered and protected. Now they've got righteousness on them, a blessing of righteousness. So ask yourself, do you not just want to be better physically, but do you want your children to be better physically? Because that's important. Let's continue on and get into this. I know we're 15 minutes in. I haven't even got to the meat of it. John 14:es 12-8. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth or has faith on me, the works that I do shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do, because I go to my father. Jesus says basically if I stay longer with you I might have beat you on the works but because I have to go to my father because I have to build there's gonna be mansions for you. If you read the scriptures in this chapter he talks about mansion. He says I wouldn't tell you if they weren't there. They're there. He's building a home for you. So he had to go to his father. So he says, "I need you to walk in my authority and I need you to do even greater things than I did because I want my way to go forth, which is that road, that progress report of salvation building and building and suddenly manifesting itself out onto others where you're in the grocery store and somebody asks you, "Hey, What is it that you have that I don't? There's there's something about you. You're full of life and light. I like it. What is it that you That's when you say, "I have Jesus." And they see the difference. And they know you get to witness to them. Verse 13. And he continues on. And whatsoever ye shall ask, that word ask is beg, call, desire, crave in my name, that will I do, that the father may be glorified or magnified in the son. You got to ask for what it is that you want. You want to be cancer free, ask to be cancer free. And I suggest doing it with somebody at your church who is either an elder or on the prayer team who is covered by the eldership. As James 5 says, get anointed by oil. And where two or three are gathered in his name, there Jesus is in the midst. And then you ask, I want to be cancer free. And he will show you that way to get there. Whether you start feeling better immediately or it takes time. Sometimes it's a progress a progress. You know, me getting clean and out of that diabetic realm. It took about three months. I had been on that stuff for I don't know several years because I believed what the doctor said. I mean, I just h I'm I'm so glad that the Lord showed me how to get out of that because I was entwined in that. And it's like, how can I be in ministry and and how could I stand in faith and represent faith, especially in this ministry and not walking myself? You see, it's an oxymoron, you know, and and half the time when I'm preaching, I'm preaching to myself. But I'm urging you, call on the name of Jesus. He is the way. He's going to make that way through your life a way where you're going to get to the desire. You're going to get to where it is you want. But he might change your desire. He might transform your mind, the way you think. Instead of just praying for me, me, me, me, myself, and I, he's going to have you praying for those around you. and he's going to minister to uh through that path. So go to verse 14. If ye ask, if if ye shall ask, which is at call, crave, desire, anything in my name, I will do it. Then look what he does. He adds something extra here. He says, if ye love me, keep my commandments. That word love means social moral sense. It's like an obligation. That word commandment is prescription. He's telling you this is the prescription to stay healed. Do you see this? I hope you are love out of social moral sense obligation. So in other words, when you are obligated to God, especially for what Jesus did on the cross, you you you recognize, you say, "Wow, Jesus, you did this on the cross." And it gets on the inside of you. It changes you. And when you sense that change, suddenly you're obligated. You feel the obligation, the moral sense, the right thing to do. Right thing is to go to church. The right thing is to read the Bible. The right thing is to call on Jesus. And notice what he says. If you keep my commandments, his commandments, the prescription, what are his commandments? keep the social moral sense obligation. That's love. That's the definition of the love used in this scripture. And he's telling you if you keep if you love me, you're obligated to him. You you're you have your sense, your moral sense for him. Keep the commandments, your prescription. Now, a lot of prescription deals with making sure you keep calling on the name of Jesus, making sure that you keep taking holy communion, making sure that you are in church, making sure that you are reading your Bible. Psalm 91 says to dwell in the presence with the Lord in the secret place. There's all kinds of things the Bible tells us to do. And they're not hard. They're very simple, easy things. Jesus says, "My yoke is not heavy." And it isn't. We're to go do these things. And then he says further verse 16, "And I will pray." Jesus will pray, interrogate, request, beseech, desire the father. He's going to go to the father and he will give you another comforter, which means intercessor, consoler, advocate that he may abide with you forever. You see, you have the spirit of God, the Holy Spirit within you that when you say in the name of Jesus, guess what? The Holy Spirit and his strong angels move on your behalf. And especially if you're putting in the word of God with it, no weapon formed against me shall prosper. By his stripes, I was healed. Guess what? The Holy Spirit, the spirit of life, these strong angels are obligated because they obey God, because they love God, they're obligated to move on your behalf. And guess who runs? The devil. Let's keep going. Even the spirit, this is verse 17, even the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not. Neither know it. They don't, they don't know him. They don't know the spirit of truth. They don't know Jesus. But ye talking to us who believe. Ye know him for he dwells. He Jesus is staying. He's relating with us. He's enduring with us and shall be in you. He says, "I will not leave you comfortless or bereie, fatherless, perilous. I will come to you even to this day. The Holy Spirit comes to us because he is within us. But keeping his commandments, verse 21, he that keep that hath my commandments, the prescription, you have it. You see, you already know the prescription. And the prescription is in the name of Jesus. You get a headache instead of taking a pill. In the name of Jesus, I'm whole healed. I don't have a headache. Take the holy communion because it reminds you to go back to the power of the cross. It says, "Here I am at the cross, Lord. I remember what you did, Jesus. By your stripes, I'm healed. By the crown, the thorns that you had in your head. By the blood that came down your body, I am redeemed. I have no sin left in me because it has fleeed because your blood flows through my veins." And as you say that, as you walk in that authority, I promise you, and Jesus keeps his promises that he will be with you, it will not bother you, you can have life and life abundantly. Amen. Verse 21. He that hath my commandments, prescripture, prescription, and keeps it, you watch, you guard, you keep an eye on those commandments. You keep an eye on it. Oh man, we didn't go to church on Sunday. I need to have holy communion. Let me have holy community. Let's do it now. I'm learning that holy communion is a very powerful tool in keeping healed and whole. I urge you to take holy communion at minimum a week. We do it every Sunday at the church. And if we happen to miss that service for whatever particular reason, we're here at home and we have holy communion. It is very imperative that we take that holy communion. That's one. That's an obligation that shows love to Jesus because you're remembering him on the cross. And that activates the power of the cross by his stripes. He was whipped on the back for us. And that was for our healing so that we could be healed and live in our healing. We don't have to live in sickness and disease. Amen. And watch you have See, you got to keep guard over that. I just emphasize that them he it is that loveth me. Let's start from that scripture at the top of that scripture. He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me. You see, by you demonstrating keeping those commandments, you're showing your love to him. And he that loveth me shall be loved of my father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Jesus will glorify himself out of your body, and he will show you off to the world. That's how much he wants to be there. He's going to tell the world, "Look, she's not going to age as much as someone who's in sin all the time. She's going to look beautiful and you're going to see that peace and that faith and that love and that joy come out of her because he's demonstrating his will, his way out of you which will minister to hundreds of thousands if not millions of people. Amen. Because you will do greater things than he did. Verse 22, Judas saith unto him not a scariot, Lord, how is it that thou will manifest thyself and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, "If a man love me, he will keep my words, and my father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with him." See, Jesus is going to come and reside in you, reside in you. He's going to be there in you because you're the holy temple. Your body is a holy temple. He wants to abode in you. The father with him and the comforter. So all three, the trinity wants to abide in you. Verse 24. He that loveth me not keepeth my not my sayings, and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the father's which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you. Do you think the disciples remembered everything that they spoke about or what Jesus spoke about to them during the three years? No. But the Holy Spirit came and told them, reminded brought to remembrance me getting delivered. It took a three-month progress of getting rid of that diabetic medicine, cholesterol medicine, all that junk. It took about three months. But the Lord, the Holy Spirit kept bringing to remembrance conversations I had with doctors and then showing me the red flags. And I was like, "Oh, I don't want to live like this. They've been lying to me. I don't have diabetes." And I had never had I tried casting it out. And by the way, I had casted out depression 30 plus years ago and I was successful at that because that was a real spirit. Diabetes isn't. But the name of Jesus is real and he resides in me. So every time you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord. Jesus is Lord over my finances. Jesus is Lord over my head. Jesus is Lord over my heart. Jesus is Lord over my blood. Jesus is Lord over my finances. Jesus is Lord over my household. Jesus is Lord over my children. Jesus is Lord over my grandchildren. Jesus is Lord over my parents. Jesus is Lord over my siblings. You keep claiming the name of Jesus over everything. Jesus says that's you're obligated. You're doing that out of love. Because you're doing it out of love. You're keeping my commandments. You're dwelling in me because you keep remembering to say his name. I will dwell with you. And by the way, where God is, where Jesus is, where the Holy Spirit is, sin cannot be. It cannot reside. It cannot be any powerful at all. It is dead. It dies. Sin goes. And therefore the consequences go as well which means aging slows down for us because we're spending more time with the Lord which means we have more strength in our bodies. We have more strength in our minds. You see understand the spiritual aspect and consequences and don't be limited by what I'm teaching either. Go to the Holy Spirit. Go to the father. Ask him to express show and explain to you what he's doing. because he will reveal it to you and he will teach it to you. And perhaps, who knows, you might have part of the teaching that the rest of the world is missing. All because you're obedient, keeping his commandments, getting it back to the cross, dwelling in him, and letting him dwell in you. that liberty that you get to have from sin, from sickness, from diseases, from financial destitution because that's how good our God is. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We bless your word. I pray that faith builds up in each and every one of our hearts and minds. Father God, I pray that we do not lose this teaching that it stays permanently in our minds where we're calling on the name of Jesus in everything that we do. But we're dwelling with you and you're dwelling with us because we love you. We do it yes out of a moral sense and obligation. But at the same time there is that empathic emotional love that is there that we say Lord Lord Lord Jesus you're Jesus over my skin. You're Jesus over my mind. You're Jesus over my heart. Oh Lord, I pray that this catches on, that there's a spirit of the name of Jesus that manifests in all of us and throughout the body of Christ, the church, and the kingdom of God. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. God bless you. I'll see you in the next teaching. Bye-bye. Home Previous Next
- UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION PART 4 | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION PART 4 Equip listeners to understand Revelation 6–7 as the convergence point of God’s “physical” and “spiritual” timelines—clarifying the roles of the seals, the rapture, Israel’s sealing (144,000), and Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 24—so they can watch, persevere, and minister with confidence as end-time signs intensify. UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION PART 4 Pastor Marcos Marrero May 24, 2009 Objective: Equip listeners to understand Revelation 6–7 as the convergence point of God’s “physical” and “spiritual” timelines—clarifying the roles of the seals, the rapture, Israel’s sealing (144,000), and Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 24—so they can watch, persevere, and minister with confidence as end-time signs intensify. Synopsis: Opening prayer & posture: A call to lay aside tradition and flesh, receive “rivers of living water,” and be strengthened for spiritual battle. Twofold structure of Revelation: Chapters 1–3 present the physical, linear church age (seven churches); chapters 4–6 unveil the spiritual dynamics behind that history (throne, Lamb, seals). Four horsemen as four forces: Antichrist deception, war, economic upheaval, and death operate to bring Israel (law) and the Church (grace) back into the same prophetic moment, culminating in Revelation 6. Fifth & sixth seals: The fifth seal highlights sacrificial witnesses (“under the altar”); the sixth seal pulls back the sky—heaven and earth meet, signaling imminent divine wrath and triggering end-time transitions. Transfer of anointing & the 144,000 (Rev 7:1–8): Before wrath falls, an angel “from the east” halts judgment; the Church is removed (Philadelphia kept from the hour of trial) and Israel is sealed (12,000 from each tribe) to carry the covenant witness. Great multitude (Rev 7:9–17): An innumerable company from every nation, tribe, people, and language appears before the throne—identified as those coming out of many tribulations who washed their robes in the Lamb’s blood (the raptured Church across the ages). Clocks and convergences: Physical clock: Six thousand years (six “days”) leading to the millennial Sabbath; 144 generations picture completion. Spiritual clock: 120 Jubilees (Noah motif) also converge near the end; both clocks meet at the sixth seal. Tribulation vs. wrath: Tribulation = persecution by men throughout the church age; wrath = God’s seven-year judgment. Confusing these leads to timing errors about the rapture. “No one knows the day or hour” (Mt 24): Read in context of the midpoint events (abomination of desolation). As in Noah’s day, God revealed the year and even a seven-day window; Zechariah 14 suggests a unique day when normal time is suspended to allow Israel’s flight on a Sabbath/winter. Midpoint details & flight: After the two witnesses’ 1,260 days, their death/resurrection coincides with Israel’s flight to refuge (Azal/“scapegoat” imagery from the Day of Atonement). God preserves a remnant for 1,290 days while others seal their testimony in martyrdom. Pastoral charge: Do not neglect Revelation or end-time preaching. Watch the signs (globalism, Israel, wars, upheavals), stay sober and ready, and lead others to Christ with boldness when the world is shaken—rejoicing at His appearing. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Indeed, Father in heaven, we ask that you grant us now ears to hear and a heart to understand, Father God. And I uh submit myself now, Father God, to the leading of the Holy Spirit. And I pray that I myself may have ears to hear, a heart to understand, and a mouth to speak the revelation that the Holy Spirit will want to bring to us tonight. Father uh in heaven in Jesus name. I agree with Fred as we bind the enemy right now. Father God as we declare the anointing of God in this place from above, beneath all around us, within us and through us, Father God, that the rivers of living waters that are attached to us through the Holy Spirit that is within us may be loose open today, Father God. Let all of the hindrances, all of the resistance, all of the failures, all of the garbage of the past, let it be washed away by the rivers of living waters, Father God. We don't want religion. We don't want no dead men's tradition. We don't want nothing, Father God, that has to do with the flesh of the world. We pant, Father God, for the rivers of living waters that flow from the heaven above, the door that Jesus has opened for us by writing our names in heaven. We come, Father God, and we thirst. And like Zechariah says that in the day of the latter rains, ask the Lord for rain. We ask for the rain now, Father God. In this day of the latter rain that we may be fed, nourished, and Father God, strengthened for the battle that lies ahead in Jesus name, we thank you, Lord. Amen. Amen. Praise God. Hallelujah. I'm ready to fight. I'm ready to fight. Praise God. Hallelujah. We um uh concluded uh last week and that um um the sixth seal and of course as we have been studying I said that the the first three chapters of the book of revelation chapter 1 2 and three gives us the physical timeline of the church age from the time that it was born to the time that it will be taken away. the Philadelphia church will be taken away, but the uh Leodysa church will have to go through the time of testing that's coming to test the entire world. And so that is a lineal and you can follow it from the letter to the the first church all the way to to the letters of the seven churches. And then I made the point that chapters four, five, and six are now the spiritual revelation of the same events that were given to us during the church age. And then I show by using this paper how the spiritual timelines work. And we see here that um in the whole seven years that God created uh I mean 7,000 years from Adam until the this present physical realm that we know of is done away with when the new Jerusalem comes down from heaven and God comes to dwell with us. uh that there are seven dispensation and we saw that innocent, conscience, human government and promise are the four forces that drive the whole of humanity. So when God enter into the covenant which was the promise that he gave to Abraham out of Abraham came two uh dispensations. One was the law or Israel came through Moses and it was given to Israel and grace the church which God made it through the known through the apostles and especially through Paul as he brought it to us. Now out of the Israel and the church when they two come together out of that time we're going to go into the kingdom age or entering into the rest seventh always means completion or rest. So we also notice that the first part of it deals with the whole 7-year period, the the condition of man, how God had to intervene by giving him a promise and then God introduced the law, his grace and from there to those who respond, we go to the kingdom age. Now the church age was given to us as a seven because God in in God's uh timing seven means a completion of something. God divides things into seven like the week. We have Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and then Sabbath the the seventh, that's when it rests, and then there's a new cycle. It begins again. So, we saw that we were given a message to seven churches. In chapters two and three, we have a physical revelation of the church age. So, since it's physical, it follows one, two, three, four, five, six, and seven because that's how we understand. But in the spiritual realm, following the the way that God does the seven, we can see that when we got to Revelation chapter 6, that God introduced four horses, a white horse, a red horse, a black horse, and a pale horse. And that symbolized the four spirits or the four winds or the four forces that are at work. And what are these forces working for in the spiritual realm? They are working to number one bring Israel which is represented by the law back as a nation and to bring the church which is the grace of God back into the same time to bring them together once again. See the church was born out of Israel. It were all all the apostles were uh Jews who were preaching the gospel. Jesus elected all 12 of them. And so then there was a separation to where the the Jews and were scattered. And so all of these forces have been working together to bring the church back. When John wrote the book of Revelation, Israel had already been out of the land for at least 30 or 40 years because it was in 60 AD that Titus invaded Jerusalem and destroyed the temple, destroyed everything. uh John wrote it probably 90 to 95 AD. So that was 35 years later when John is given this revelation. And so these four horsemen which is the antichrist wars one world economy and then one war that is going to involve oneth of the earth right around where Israel is at. Out of that is going to come two things. Number one, the souls that are under the altar. And we said that the uh under the altar is the blood and the ashes. When you brought a sacrifice, they had an altar. They had a a a a grill on the altar. They brought the sacrifice alive. They slaughter it. The blood ran down and then they burned it. If it was a burnt offering, the whole carcass of the animal was burned. So the ashes went down. So the term under the altar means something that was sacrificed to God completely and it was burned to ashes. Now we know that the Jews what they went through in in in in Europe was called a holocaust. Holocaust means burnt offering. Read the Spanish Bible and you see it. The word that they use for for burnt offering right here is holocaust. Holocaust mean to be burnt. And the reason why they call it the Holocaust is because Hitler burned most of the Jews. Their bodies had to be burned. How do you dispose of six million people? I mean that is that is hard to do. So they bury they had huge masses of of grave but it's too many. So they would burn them. So we see that out of these four horses the antichrist war this came out. And and so we see that because of at the end of World War II, Israel was born as a nation. So Israel was brought into the scene. And then we we saw that in Revelation chap uh I mean on Revelation chapter 6 when the uh fifth seal was open. Then when the sixth seal is open, which has not happened yet, we see that all of a sudden the skies roll back and now we have the spiritual and the physical in the same realm. There's no more wall or sky as where it says the sky receded as a scroll and everybody on the earth now we know that the earth is round and if we're here you go all the way to the other side of the earth there's people there when the sky rolls back it rolls back as much here as it does in China why because this is spiritual that's the spiritual realm so everybody wherever you happen to be on the earth you get to see that the lamb of god the wrath of god and the and the and the wrath of the lamb as it says when the sixth seal is open is ready to take place. And so we, this is what we see here. The wrath of the lamb happens on the sixth seal. And when we get to the uh uh first half of the wrath of God, which is uh uh 1,240, you see the same example. You see that one/ird of the earth, one-third of the sea, one-third of the rivers, one-third of the sun, moon, and stars. And then you see that the result of that is for the first five months tormenting demons are released. God allows all of the demons that are in hell to coexist with the humans here on the earth. And you say, "Well, why would God do that?" Because you tell people about hell, they don't believe it. And people died right now went up to hell and they want to come back and at least warn their families. That's what Jesus told us about Lazarus. Said, "Let me go warn my brothers and sisters." Well, see these people have refused to believe the gospel that has been preached to the whole world. So what God does is for five months he does not allow anybody to die. Nobody can die for five month. Imagine that. You can have somebody that gets beheaded. And I can imagine the the the head can actually still see and guide the body to pick crap and maybe hold it back up in there or something. You can't die. It says that it says and I'm I believe literal as much as I can on the word of God. It says that for five months nobody can die. And what happens is during those five months the demons, all of the demons of hell are released and torment everybody in the earth for five months. It says they tells you what they look like. They got long hair like woman, teeth like lion. And it says they have tails like scorpion. And when they sting you, it's like when a scorpion stings person. This is going to take place for five months. Then at the end of five months which is the uh uh uh uh the sixth trumpet or world two then four destroying angels are released and then everybody now that has repented and that says okay Lord I I know the hell is real I I believe I repent then their death will allow them to enter now into the rest of God. So these angels will come in and kill onethird of all of the humans are on the earth. This is how many people are going to believe. So we see the same principle whether you see it in the 7,000 year period of human history or whether you see it in the 2,000 year of the church you see the seven whether you see it on the 1260 days of the first week of re uh first half of the wrath of God you see it. So this is a spiritual principle which if we understand will help us to understand how things work. So here we have the first three chapters give us the literal or the physical revelation of the church age. We can go through history and we can see it. We can see that in the spirit realm. Chapter 4 showed us heaven before Jesus became flesh. Chapter 5 showed us the word of God coming flesh becoming a man then being worshiped and a and a claimed by everybody in heaven. Then he has now authority to open the seven seals. And as he unleashes the seven seals, we see that he's working on the church age. Now when the sixth seal was open, all of a sudden the sky was removed and now you have the spiritual world that we cannot see now and the physical world that we're in collide at one time. It all becomes one. So this is where we're going to start. If you have the book, we're going to start at page u um was it 29? I said 28. Page 28. This is uh the rapture of the church. And we're going to go to Revelation 7. And we're going to read verses 1-4. If you have your Bible, Revelation is the last book. And it says, beginning on verse one of Revelation chapter 7, after these things, I saw four angels. Now after these things meaning after the six seal was open and everybody saw that the throne of God and everybody saw the lamb and everybody was hiding in the bomb shelters and and told the rocks fall on us and hide us from the wrath of of God and of the lamb which is about to take place. So all of a sudden in Revelation 5:1 it says that four angels were standing at the four corners of the earth holding the four winds of the earth. Now what are the fourth wind? what I just show you in the paper, the the first seal, the second seal, the third seal, the fourth seal, the four horsemen of the apocalypse are like four winds or four influence or four forces that are at work to bring what this time when heaven and earth meet. Now, heaven and earth just met the skies were re uh receded. The judgment of God is about to happen. And then all of a sudden, an angel comes in from the east. He says uh uh after these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth holding the four winds of the earth that the wind should not blow on the earth on the sea or on any three. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east having the seal of the living God. And he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees until we have what? seal the servants of our God on their foreheads. And I heard the number of those who were sealed. 144,000 of all of the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed. Now, what is taking place over here is simply this. The church is about to be removed. Why? Because in in in in the message to the church of Philadelphia, uh uh Jesus told John to write, "Because you have kept my word and because you have not deny my name, I'm going to keep you from the hour that's coming to test everybody who lives on the earth." So we keep faith. We believe the word of God. We do not deny the the deity of Jesus Christ. That is our ticket out of here when it comes. So what happens is as the uh uh because we saw that when Peter is quoting Joel that uh the mountains were removed that there was uh billows of smoke and earthquake there was all kinds of things taking place and as this thing frightful things were taking place which are natural events that are taking place and everybody knows that the wrath of God is about to come this angel that comes from the east he said wait a minute we can't begin the judgment yet? Well, why? Well, because we were not appointed unto wrath. Paul says in the letter to the Thessalonians, you have not been appointed unto wrath. So, if the wrath of the land is coming, we have to be taken out. That's what the angel from the east does. Remember, Jesus says that in in his coming, he's going to be like lightning that flashes from the east to the west. He's talking about the rapture. But see, the church cannot be raptured because the church is the anointed entity of God here on the earth. We have been anointed to rule and to reign. That we are the only spiritual authority. Just like Israel was the only authority before that. That doesn't mean that you have to be Jew to be saved. We're not talking about salvation. We're talking about an entity that is in charge of as an ambassador to to bring God's gospel or or whatever the the law for the dispensation is to the world. And so before the church gets taken out, that anointing which is the seal of the living God, when did the seal of the living God come? In the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came and empowered the church, gave it the authority to carry out the work of God. Now that church is going to be removed, Israel has to be sealed. And so Israel responds by offering to God 12,000 young men who have never been with a woman. They're virgin. They're young. They're pure. 12,000 from each tribe. 144,000 are going to be offered to God and they're all will die by the time of the of the 1260 day and the two witnesses will die. So as they are offered to God, the anointing seal, God accepts their offering and their seal on their foreheads. And so here's what's happening. The sixth seal is open. The sky is removed. The world is screaming and crying because the earth is shaking. There's smoke. There's there's all kinds of things going on. The angel that come from the east, that's the rapture. The angel of the rapture says, "Hold everything. We have to transfer the authority from the church before we take it." Because when the church is gone, it's gone. And and the Leo, they say church don't have no authority. They deny Jesus is not it. Revelation 3:20, Jesus said, "Behold, I stand on the door and knock. If you open the door, I'll come in." Obviously, they never open the door. If they would open the door, they go up in the rapture. So, they're left. So, then the authorities transferred to the Jews. Now, who does this transferring? And of course, these are the two witnesses. The two witnesses while this guy is receding and it's back, not not just the angels coming in. The two witnesses come in. They will know what Jewish from what tribe and they will know exactly them to seal. But now here I'm going to give you a key and the key is that there are two clocks. There is a physical clock and there is a spiritual clock and the physical clock is governed by the times and the seasons. For example, uh uh uh uh the the earth takes 365 days to go around the sun. So that's a year. The earth takes 24 hours to go around on itself and within a circle. And that's called a day. And that is the what governs us. Our clock is governed by the position of the earth in relation to the sun. But when God introduced his spiritual clock, his spiritual clock was never dependent upon any physical thing. God just created everything on six days. And he says, "Okay, the seventh day is holy. We're going to rest on it. The seventh day can happen in winter. The seventh day can happen in summer. The seventh day can happen in spring. The seventh day represents God's spiritual clock." So now listen to this. Moses in Psalm 90 and and second Peter tells us that a day is like a year unto the Lord. And now I mean it's like a thousand years. A day is like a thousand years unto the Lord. Of course we have six dispensation. The seventh is when we enter into the day of rest. Revelation six different time says that Christ will reign on the earth for a thousand years. So, we do know that the last day is a Sabbath and it lasts a thousand years. So, that means that the first six days lasted 6,000 years. Okay? That's why when you add the the the calendar from the Bible, you come up that we're about the year 6,000 because we're about to enter into the day of rest. Now, look at this. The day symbolizes a thousand years. Now, if a day symbolizes a thousand years, what does the hour symbolize? Because we know that an a day has 24 hours. Well, guess what? The hour represents a generation. So, you see, out of every thousand years, God counts 24 generations. So, six working days is 144 hours. So when you come to the day of rest, the last hour, the 144th has to be the last one because that then you enter into the day of rest. So that tells us that this event is happening right at the end of 6,000 years because God except from Israel who's going to be now sealed 144,000. What that means is the 100th and 144th generation is the generation that will end time and then we'll go into the transition period of where we go a thousand years and it's physical. Moses says a day is like a thousand years and and and then by implication I know that an hour represents a generation. So there's 104. Adam was the first generation. Jesus says about the generation that will witness the signs on the sky when all of these things begin to happen. Jesus says this generation shall not pass away until all of these words are fulfilled. So the first generation was Adam and Eve. The last generation is the one that gets taken up. But there's more. There's the other time. The other time is the Sabbath time. God comes in through the law, through Moses, says, "Now, I want you to do this." He says, "When you go into the land, I want you to work the land for six years." In other words, you're going to plow the ground. You're going to put the seeds. You're going to take the weeds out. You're going to harvest. You're going to do this for six years. But the seventh year is holy. The land needs to rest. Nobody works on the seventh year. God told him, "Well, that's a problem. If you don't get paid for a whole year, you were in trouble, right?" So God says, "In the sixth year, I will bless you and your crops will produce double and then you put it in your barn." Man, I wish I had that deal today. I like to have every seventh year off without having to work. I have all my needs met, right? So this was idea. Then he says, "You do that is called a sbatical. You do that for a a cycle of seven. In other words, you do it the the first seven, the fourth thing, the 21, and then when you get to the 49th year, this is seven cycles of seven, seven weeks of seven. Then the 50th year is the year of jubilee. Now remember Jesus came, he said, I came to proclaim the year of jubilee, the year, the acceptable day of the Lord. That mean that's the year that you enter into rest. Now if you were an Israelite and you were in the 30th year of the cycle and you fell into death, in other words, you borrow money and you couldn't pay it, you will become a slave, but you have to be released on the 50th year because the 50th meant all of the debts were cancelled, ended. No more death. So if you had a land because all of the Jews inherited a a plot of land, you had a land. It always belongs to you and to your children to your children. After this, you could sell it, but whoever bought it had to figure out, okay, this is the 30th year. We got 20 years until Jubilee. Uh and they'll pay you for those 20 years because on the 50th year, they had to give you the land back. It's a jubilee. You enter into the rest. All of the maps are cancelled. See that is God sabatical clock. Now God comes in during the days of of Noah and he says I am going to bring judgment upon the earth and everything is going to be destroyed and I'm going to do it in 120 years. Now why would God select 120 years? Well, see the 120 years is spiritual and it applies to the church because there were 120 people on the upper room when the Holy Spirit fell upon them. So the 144 represents Israel physical the physical clock the spiritual clock is uh 120. Why 120? Well, God said I'm going to destroy the earth in 120 years. And 120 years exactly the judgment came. the you know in the 120th year the the the gates of the heaven were open the springs were open the water came in everybody was killed now Jesus comes in and says like it was in the days of Noah is going to be at the end time what does it mean well 120 time 50 which is a jubilee leads us exactly to 6,000 so you see what's happening over here like I've been teaching There's a spiritual clock. There's a physical clock. And boom, they're converging 144 generations later from Adam and 120 Jubilees from the day that Adam was created into to go into the garden and go into the rest are all converging at the end of chapter 6. And so here in chapter 7, now we're going to see the result. And the result is first 144,000 are sealed for for Israel. And then uh uh Revelation 7 9 and 10 says after these things I look and behold a great multitude which no one could number of all of the nations, the tribes, peoples and tongues that were standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed with white robe with palm branches in their hands. And they were crying out with a lou voice saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and unto the lamb." This is the rapture. Notice that it is people from all nations. Now, notice that this it's not just all nations today because since this is the resurrection, this is all nations that ever existed. out of all tribes, wherever people were, out of all people and all tongues. That means that God is in the business of saving people and he saves people not just through Israel. Because if Israel uh uh failed to proclaim the gospel of God, then nobody got saved on the 1500 years that Israel was a nation. If the church has failed to proclaim the gospel like so so many places have pro uh failed to proclaim, then there will be people from tribes that were lost. But you see, Paul tells us in Romans chapter 1 that God has put within the creation and within the heart of man eternity to where men are convicted by the very creation itself. So out of every tribe, out of every tongue, out of every revelation, even when there was no gospel and and there's plenty of of of uh uh things has been said about that, Buddhist people that were praying to whatever and and had Jesus appear to them. All kinds of things that happened through the ages. And so what happens is this is when all of those people who die believing the word of God, the gospel, whether it was preached through a preacher, whether it was preached through the law or whether it was preached by nature or whether it's preached by your heart. Paul says this and as a matter of fact, let me go there. I want to make sure that I get this point. It's Romans chapter 1, the end of Romans chapter 1. Because I want to make sure that that we understand this is still Jesus, the one who does it is in Romans chapter 1 and uh and verses um let's begin with 17. He says, "For in it," talking about the gospel, he says, "I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it's the power of God unto salvation." Verse 16 and 17 says, "For in this gospel that is a righteousness, the righteousness of God is revealed that goes from faith to faith. And as it is written, the just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth and unrighteousness." And look at verse 19. Because what may be known of God is manifest in them. For God has shown it to them. Meaning that the gospel has been preached to every creature. Look at the next one. For since the creation of the world, see remember from every nation, from every tribe, from every tongue, since the creation of the world, God's invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and godhead, so that they are without excuse. And then he goes on to say that all of this is done through the sacrifice that Jesus gave. So that means that if you live somewhere way out there 3,000 years ago and never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, yet the gospel was preached to you by the things that were great. God speaks to you. God can speak to you through a song. God can speak to you. I remember when I was young, the first time I got drunk, I walk home, our house was on top of the water and I couldn't go into the house because man, I was moving and I sit there on the edge of on the dock on the water and my head was just going around and then all of a sudden this bright meteorite, whatever it was, just went by. It was 2 3:00 in the morning. Our town hardly had any lights. So, was you could see every star in the Milky Way and the thing just flushed so big in the sky. And I I was just felt so little seeing that. And of course, I was drunk. So this voice spoke to me and it was Satan. He says, "This is what your life is going to be like. Nothing. Nobody's going to see it. Everybody's going to miss whatever it is. Why don't you just end it? It is not worth it." I was saying to myself, "I don't know who you're talking to. I listen to you. I ain't that drunk. I know that for sure." I said, "I I went in and got in the bed and puke all over the place, but man, I wasn't going to jump in the water. you know, I don't care what you say. So, there is a a spiritual battle that takes place even before you're saved. You know, even in the middle of sin, how many people have told you that in the middle of their worst sin, God comes in and speaks to them. So, this is what I say. So, we see then in in Revelation 7 that out of every uh uh tongue all of the nations uh uh are there. Now, look at Revelation 11. 7:11 and uh let me go there real quick and to show you the the same principle. Revelation chapter 7 11 it says and all of the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures they all fell to their faces before the throne of God worshiping God saying amen. Amen means this is the end of of of this this concludes the church age. Amen. blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might. Sevenfold worship of God is given. Then in verse 13, one of the elders comes and asked John, who are this who are clothed with his white robes, and where did they come from? And he said, and I said to him, sir, you know, so he said to me, these are the one who come out of the great tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb. See this is the church age because they have made their they have washed it in the blood of the lamb. Now the word there and this is where so many people get confused. The word uh that came out of great tribulation for some reason uh uh uh Bible teachers of the end time. They're telling you that the great tribulation is seven years. And if you were here in lessons past, I explained to you the difference between tribulation and wrath. Tribulation is when God, I mean when people persecute you for your faith in God. The church, if you look at the letter to the churches, they all undergo great tribulation. And one of them says, "You will have tribulation from 10 days." That was the it is historical fact. 10 different emperors persecuted the church that was a span of 200 and some years. So the church have gone through tribulation and has always been going through tribulation. Jesus said in this world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer because I have overcome the world. Wrath is when God judges the earth for persecuting those who trust in his word. See that's the difference. The wrath of God is seven years. The tribulation endures a whole church age. And if you want to look it up, look at the word where it says these are they that came out of great tribulation. The word great is mega. The the word that we use is a Greek word to mean big, but it's plural meaning megas, many. These are they that came out of many tribulation, not one tribulation. And so this will help you to understand that the these are the church because they want to tell you that this happened in the middle of the tribulation. And to explain that they tell you that the 144,000 are evangelists that go out and evangelize the whole world. Nowhere in the Bible is that you see you have to make that up to explain why the rapture takes place in chapter 7 when you're thinking that chapter 4 is when he said come up here. That's that's when the rapture happened. That's if you don't understand the full twofold meaning of it. If you know that the first three chapters are physical and you know that the the that the next three chapters four, five and six are spiritual. They converge and when they converge that's when the rapture happens and then you don't have no problem explain it. That's why he says the these are they that came out of many mega tribulation. Now this possesses a problem. Go with me to Matthew 24 and let's look at verse 36 and 37. In Matthew 24:36 and 37, Jesus says, "But of that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but my father only." Let me stop there. We're going to deal with with that scripture, some more of that scripture there. But did you know that that is what has made me cele where in the word of God have you ever read God telling you don't read my word you don't need it have you ever read that anywhere is nowhere the opposite right God's always want us to study study to show yourself approved here men have taken the scriptures and they say no one knows the day nor the hour so because of that this Sunday when preachers preach all over the United States probably less than one half of 1% of the messages will be on the book of revelation. Now what is the most important event in the Bible? The Bible is about Jesus and the two most important events is his first coming and his second coming. That's it. The first and the second coming of Jesus. That's the most important of all of the events. The first event already took place 2,000 years ago. The next big event is when he comes back. How many preachers are going to be preaching on the book of Revelation telling you to get ready because Jesus is about to come this Sunday? I bet not too many. And you know why? Oh, no one knows the day nor the hour. So, let's not bother. No one knows. No one knows the day nor the hour. So, let's not bother. So because of this, so many Christians and their teachers and their pastor ignore the book of Revelation and the greatest event that we need to get ready for, which is when Jesus comes back. They don't want to bother with it. But you see what I've been teaching is that the sky is going to recede. It's going to open. There's going to be fire and smoke and all kinds of things before the great day of the Lord. That's what the church was birthed in. Remember Peter quoted Joel Home Previous Next

EVE BORN AGAIN The objective of this teaching is to begin a new series on Women in the Bible by focusing on Eve, the first woman created by God, and to reveal how her creation, purpose, and role connect to the biblical truth of being born again. The lesson emphasizes the foundation of Genesis, the meaning of God’s image in male and female, and how this connects to Jesus’ ministry, crucifixion, and the birth of the Church through water and Spirit. EVE BORN AGAIN Minister Lisa Kane May 9, 2024 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to begin a new series on Women in the Bible by focusing on Eve, the first woman created by God, and to reveal how her creation, purpose, and role connect to the biblical truth of being born again. The lesson emphasizes the foundation of Genesis, the meaning of God’s image in male and female, and how this connects to Jesus’ ministry, crucifixion, and the birth of the Church through water and Spirit. Synopsis: In this message, Lisa Kane introduces the Women in the Bible series, starting with Eve as the mother of all living. Drawing from Genesis, she explains that Adam was created from the dust of the ground while Eve was formed from Adam’s rib, showing God’s design of unity, protection, and partnership between man and woman. This creation account also reflects the fullness of God’s image, represented in both male and female. Lisa then connects Eve’s story to the deeper spiritual truth of being born again. Using the imagery of physical birth—water and blood—she parallels it with Jesus’ words to Nicodemus about being born of water and the Spirit. Through Christ’s crucifixion, where His heel was bruised and His side pierced, the Church was birthed by blood and water, fulfilling God’s promise from Genesis. The teaching highlights how Eve’s creation, physical birth, and the union of man and woman serve as foreshadows of spiritual rebirth through Jesus Christ. It shows that believers, born again by water (the Word) and the Spirit, are called to live as one body in Christ, reflecting God’s image and carrying His kingdom into the world. The message closes by reminding men to cover and protect their wives, women to guard the inner parts of their husbands, and both to walk together as one flesh, empowered by the Spirit of God. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this on Thursday, May 9th, 20124. Let's open up in a word of prayer first today. Father God, we thank you for your word and we pray that your word does not return void. We pray that the audience who listens to this word has an open mind and heart to receive and believe in your word and to apply your word to their lives to have an understanding that you provide for us through your word. I pray that your holy spirit speaks to their hearts and minds through this message that you move me aside. Let your holy spirit speak through me and articulately and perfectly. Thank you, Father God, for your living word. We praise you and honor you in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. I welcome each and every one of you. Today I'm going to begin a new series. I took last week off and uh we we had some celebrations of birthdays and family events and did some traveling there. So now I'm back and we're gonna begin a new series called Women in the Bible. Now men, don't jump ship yet. This is just as much for you as it is for women. Especially this particular first message that we're going to talk about. We're going to be starting with Eve. Now, I can teach on Eve at least three parts that I have just in the top of my head. But today, we're going to talk about Eve, and we're going to be talking about being born again. You're going to see the message of being born again from the very beginning to when Jesus was crucified to the time that we live today. Amen. So, this is an awesome word. So, let's begin. So, women of the Bible, this is the first message in that series and we're going to talk about Eve and we're going to be talking about being born again. We're going to start here in Genesis 1:27. Uh I'm in the King James version. So God created man or the word man there also means self in his own image. The word image there means to shade or be a phantom in the image of God plural gods. That's what this word god means. Created he him male and female created he them. So let's lay a little bit of foundation here so that you understand what's taking place here. So there are two books of the Bible that are attacked the most. Genesis and Revelation. Satan had attacked them so much that a lot of people don't believe in creation. A lot of people don't believe uh that the Lord created the earth in six days and rested on the seventh. They they try to extrapulate what they believe science to be true and try to fit it or force it into the scriptures. The scriptures are very very clear. And um it it is really unfortunate to not have enough pastors and teachers and preachers doing apologetics in the book of Genesis and the book of Revelation. So I truly uh encourage you to check your teachings that you're listening to. Do you hear anyone teaching on Genesis or Revelation? If so, great. If not, you may need to supplement because you need to know the beginning. If you know the beginning, it's going to help you with today. And you're going to see that in this message is really incredible. So here we have Eve. She is the first woman of the Bible. She is the mother of all. So she is a created person just like Adam. The difference is that Adam was created of the earth and Eve was formed from the rib of a man. So let's go to the scripture. Now I before I dig into that, let's look at this deep part of this particular scriptures of what God is saying. He says created man self. This is God's self in us. Please understand that we're in his image. So his self is in us. Now look at how he did this. In his own image, in the image of God. He's multiple parts created. He him male and female. He created them. Listen, there's some revelation here. We know God as male and we see that he is represented as male throughout the entire scripture. So when you see gods or plural, we know that there is the godhead. God the father, God the son, God the holy spirit. Yes, the word trinity is not in the Bible. But the word trinity means the godhead. And you can see the structure. It is biblical. It is in the word of God. So we know that God the father we you see him treated as a male. You know God the son that became Jesus that is male. He was born a man. So here you've got that representation. Now look what he says though. He says in the image of God created he him. Now there's something to that too because we're doing a transliter uh King James version does a transliteration of the original text. he him of the parts of he and him. But then look at what he says here next. Male and female created he them. So in other words, when he created Adam, Adam cannot be by himself. Adam cannot make life by himself. He cannot procreate without woman. So you have to have male and female in order to procreate and create life. If all men were by themselves in one generation, the earth would die. That's how this works. Same with all women. If you had all women, because you do not have that sperm to procreate life, the earth would die in one generation. So, male and female. Now, let's look at how God created the image, how they put together that fulfills the image of God because it is male and female and they were created differently. So, let's go look at that. So here Adam was created. Let's go to Genesis 2:7. And the Lord God formed through and the word formed there means through the squeezing into shape man of the dust. That word dust means earth or mud of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. And man became a living soul. Existed as a living soul. That's how Adam was created. He was formed by the dirt, the earth, the mud and the ground. That's how God decided to make him. And then he breathed into his nostrils and he became alive in existence a soul, a living creature sensient. Okay. Now let's look at how Eve was made. So Genesis 2:21-24. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept and he took one of his ribs. Now the word rib there means a part of or the side curved part of the body and closed up the flesh instead thereof. And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man made he a woman and brought her unto man. And Adam said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken out of man. Therefore shall a man leave loose in his father and his mother and shall cleave or cling adhere catch unto his wife and they shall be one flesh." Now let's look at this. So Adam was made from the dirt of the earth. So here's God and he makes Adam directly straight from the dirt of the earth. But instead of making woman from this uh dirt of the earth, he goes and puts man in his sleep and he takes one of the ribs. Notice he didn't take a piece of Adam's brain. So she is not equal in the head. He did not take a part of his foot. So she can be equal to his footing or his standing or he you know there's no dominion over or Adam dominion over Eve. There is no dominion because it wasn't taken by the feet either. Took it from the rib. What does the rib do? The rib cage encases all of our vital organs. So he took from the edge of it which is where it sits at the bottom left hand side under the heart. He takes that rib and he forms woman. What does that mean? Well, man can put his arm around woman and she could be tucked in here next to his heart. He covers her. He protects her and she protects him because of the rib that is what protects the vital parts. She protects him on the inside and they become one flesh. So when God looks at a married couple, he sees one individual, not two individuals. He sees male and female. And by the way, that completes the image of God because God is plural. So he embedded the pluraless into us, male and female. And then what do we get to do as a blessing? We get to procreate and have children and expand and populate the earth is what we have the privilege of doing. So Eve was made for this purpose and every woman since is made for this p purpose. Now, when we get into this series, you're going to see some women who fulfilled that purpose very well, and you're going to see some who did not. And hopefully, we can learn from their examples of what they did and and the impact that they had on generations after they were existed. Amen. That's why I want to do this series. Oh, it's so good. Now, let's go a little further here because let's talk about the birthing process here because I want to get into being born again and show you how Jesus works in this. So, when a woman ha gives birth, first comes the water. The water breaks, the baby comes. What comes second or the third after the baby is the placenta sack or the blood sack. This is the blood that fulfilled and u met all the needs of the embryo, the fetus, the child within the womb. So you have water and you have blood. Now where does Jesus come into this? Let's go to John 1:1 real quick. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. So when Jesus when if you read Genesis 1:1 and you see the spirit of God hovering over the waters of the earth, Jesus is the one who said, "Let there be light and there was life." Jesus is the one who created Adam. Jesus is the power that did all of this creation and he created Eve out of the rim. This is what Jesus did. Now, what is going on here? What is happening here? Because Jesus is demonstrating something in the creation of his image between male and female and procreating. So, let's look at a conversation that Jesus has in his time with Nicodemus. So, we're going to go to John 3 3-6. Jesus answered and said unto him, talking to Nicodemus, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born, procreate again, he cannot see or know the kingdom of God." Nicodemus sayaith unto him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter the into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit." Now remember the physical birth involved water and blood. Jesus is saying now I am going to tell you it needs to be water and the spirit to be born again. So how does this work? So the wa the living word of God is the water. And so when you immerse yourself into the living word of God, you become born again because you when you confess Jesus, Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. I've been teaching on this for a long time. So now what happens is he says you cannot enter the kingdom of God unless you're born with water and the spirit. What is the kingdom of God? What did Jesus do when he was walking in the on the earth? He was healing people, delivering people, saving people, letting the blind be seen. That is the kingdom of God. So if you want to go into ministry after you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you cannot go into ministry until you are water baptized. Now the water comes in. And when Jesus came out of the water after he was baptized, the dove the spirit came upon him and immediately Jesus went into the wilderness, but he went into ministry right after that. That is what being born again of water and spirit means because the Lord calls us to ministry to be fruitful and multiply just like Eve and Adam were told to do. So there's a physical representation in the male and female as one flesh procreating and giving birth to what Jesus is talking about in the spirit uh 2,000 years later. Now what happens here? Now there's something that goes on. So Jesus who he got baptized, he came he he came out of the baptism. He went into ministry. He was then crucified. But let's talk about that going back into Genesis because I want you to see part of this crucifixion here in Genesis because this is awesome. This is revelation that I had not thought of before that the Lord is revealing. So when Satan was cursed, see when Adam and Eve failed, they they lost the blessing because they disobeyed God and they were kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Three curses were spoken. one was to Eve. This is why I said I can do more parts. I'm not going to talk about the curse on Eve today. Uh then there's a curse against Satan and there was a curse against the earth. So he did three full curses. Let's look at the part of the curse that he did to Satan because this deals with the crucifixion. Genesis 3:15. And I will put enmity between thee and the woman and between thy seed and her seed. It shall bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise his heel. Now when Jesus when he was talking to Nicodemus and he was saying be born of water and spirit he was baptized. He came in and he went into ministry. But Jesus had a goal and that was to redeem all of us because he did not want to lose one of us. He needed to save us. When we are conceived today, we are conceived in sin. David clearly talks about that in the scriptures and in Psalms. So we are conceived in sin. So the Lord has to redeem us to get us out of that that sin. So what did Jesus do? He had to go to the cross. Now let's talk about being on the cross here for just a moment. Now they really don't know how Jesus was crucified per se. There are different uh ways to be crucified, different methods that they are familiar with. You can go study this on your own and check it out. I'm going to use the scripture here and just follow what the scripture is leading me on and we'll go from there. As for semantics of this, again, it's it's what you believe and you can ask the Lord to reveal this to you. So now let's picture Jesus on the cross here for a moment as he so in order to get Jesus on the cross. I don't believe that they put a ladder there and he climbs the ladder because anyone I mean Jesus might have done it. Anyone else I don't know about you but if they're going to try to kill me I'm going to fight to the end. Okay. And that is normal natural human nature right? uh Jesus is abnormal so he would go willingly but I don't think they had a cross there and that peop the men that were being crucified would be walking up there willingly so I think that they they bind their arms to the cross beam and so they are bound they can't really do much fighting but I mean fall and go limp and make the soldiers carry you and put you up there see that to me seems unreasonable so let's think about this in a reasonable matter let's say the horizontal beam is laid down and they have they lay you down and it's hard. You're not going to be able to get up after you're laid down because your arms are tied to this vertical beam. So, they have control over you at this point. So, they lay you down on that cross and then they pierce you with the nails. They put it into the hands or the wrists, whichever you want to believe in. They I guess they did some tests where if they did it in the hands, it would tear the body hanging. But remember, they probably had the ropes because they had to be bound to that vertical beam. So hands or wrist, that is up to you. The Bible talks about uh the wrist or excuse me, the hands here. And that's the word used. And uh maybe you can do a deeper study on that if you like. But here's what I do know is that they would raise the cross. And what the purpose of the cross was to do was to suffocate the person on the cross. You see, with your hands up here on the cross and your feet pierce to the the horizontal beam, when the nail pierces the feet or the foot, one or both, it pierces the heel. So Jesus heel is bruised on the cross. This takes the action of the cross back to the curse that God spoke to Satan at the time that Adam and Eve fell. So now you can see there's something that connects the two. We have to look at this in depth and see what the revelation is here. So if his heel is bruised, now understand what's happening here. There's a little piece of board or a platform that they put there for the feet and you can push up on that to lift you up because see they you're being pressed down you cannot breathe. You have to lift up yourself up to take a breath. When they pierce the foot the heel you are in so much pain when you lift you up. You have to let go. You take your breath you let go. So you relieve the pain in your heel so that you but now you can't breathe. So you have to keep going back and forth, back and forth. Now what happens is eventually you get tired and what happens is you're breathing less and less. Now your heart in the inner part of the ribs that is protected is now working double time, triple time, quadruple time. It is trying to get oxygen to the brain to the body. But this is the point of crucifixion. You are suffocating when you're up there. Well, as Jesus is dying, that blood is flowing. His heart is going. The the water separates from the blood. And so when the soldier pierces his body, he that blood and water flows. Now what? Let's look at the scripture to talk about how Jesus looked after he rose from the grave. I think this is very important because this tells you about the hands. This is why I lean towards the hands where the piercing took place. Now, it could have been the heel of the hands that would hold very well and it might very well be instead of the wrist. Who knows? But this is what the conversation that Thomas and Jesus had. Look at this. John 20 25. The other disciples therefore said unto him, talking to Thomas, "We have seen the Lord." But he said unto them, "Except I shall," this is Thomas talking, but he said unto them, "Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails and put my finger into the print of the nails and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe." Now in verse 27, Jesus is talking to Thomas. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands, and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side. Look at the side, a rib, and be not faithless, but believing. You see the point of God taking from the rib and making woman out of the rib. He was pierced under the rib right there where the blood and water flowed to do what? For the spirit now, but he's in the flesh. So now you're talking about the fleshly church. The church is being born here on the cross by the water and the blood. And so now we have the church of God established today through what Jesus did in what he established when he made man in his image and completed because see Adam and Eve became one flesh and they birthed procreated life and children started coming out of them. Now Jesus came to the cross one flesh he birth. So himself and the church are together in the flesh as one flesh. Got to get this because see you understand look at the attack on the church today. We are still in the body. And what happens even though we're dead to uh uh sin, we're dead to these things, what happens is you're going to find people failing because we have an active adversary. The devil is constantly after us. He is constantly irritating us. So, we're going to lose self-control. These are the things we deal with. You see it in the pulpit. You see it in churches clashing. You see it in just doctrine. how there are so many different types of doctrine out there because we don't agree. But instead of disagre agreeing to disagree and walking in mercy and forgiveness and saying there could be truth to that or you know just being in love about the word of God and just showing the love and forgiveness, you see the active attack because we're still in the flesh. That's what Jesus did on the cross. Look at what the soldier did on John 19:34. But one of the soldiers with the spear pierced his side and forth with came there out blood and water. So there's a walking testimony here that the blood and water birthed the church. Now how is how is this to an individual being born again? Let's go to two people who were there to take the body of Jesus off the cross. Look at this. We're in John 19:38-40. And after this, Joseph of Arya, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the blood of Jesus. And Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore and took the body of Jesus. And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrr and allows, but about a 100 pound weight. Then they took the body of Jesus and wound it in linen clothes with the spices as the manner of the Jews is to bury. So now what I want you to see here, this is where being born again for the individual is so powerful. Now this revelation came through my dad. And so I I want to give him acknowledgement. This is something the Lord showed to him. He shared this with me the other night. He's the one who suggested I talk about women in the Bible. But it's interesting he shared that talked about women in the Bible and then I received several confirmations to teach this message. So I talked to him and obtain permission to share this revelation with you. So watch this. So in order So now they got to take the body off the cross. Do you think the soldiers are going to climb up on a ladder and try to carry him down? You know that that's more work. And in all fairness, they were smarter than we think they were. We always think we're the smartest generation. And uh these guys knew what they were doing. They're able to bring that cross down with the body on it. How? I don't know. But they were able to do so because that is a reasonable assumption. Okay. So, they were able to they might have a mechanism where the c the vertical beam sits into the hole, but they can lift it out and it just lays back down. They've got ropes and they know all these mechanisms. They're not they're not dumb. Okay? So, please understand that. How you want to take this and how you want to do it is up to you. But they're able to bring it down. Which means this allows Joseph of Arya and Nicodemus to prep take the body off the cross and prepare it. So now you have to understand there's nails in Jesus. They have to remove these nails. So they're going to pound it out from behind and get the nails off. Well, one of them, Joseph of Arythea and Nicodemus or both have to get uh they have to grab Jesus' body. Jesus is dead. That body is dead. It's now like a sack of potatoes. So, they're going to have to put their head under the arm. Imagine Nicodemus putting his head under Jesus' left arm where the blood and the water flowed and he picks him up. They lay him down on the linen cloth. Now that blood and that water is on Nick Demas. That is how you become born again. Now remember that was the flesh. What happened at the day of Pentecost? The Holy Spirit showed up. Now we're baptized with water and the spirit and we enter into the kingdom of God to minister to those around us, sharing the good news, the gospel, the redemption of Christ, laying hands on the sick. You know, I remember working at the school many, many years ago and one of the teachers was in the break room and she had her head down on the the table. She she had a headache, a really bad one. So, I went and laid hands on her, not even thinking about it. I just did it and prayed. So, I walk back into the office and about 15 minutes later, she shows up says, "I just want you to know the headache is gone. Your prayer worked." That is how we operate in the ministry of the kingdom of God. Every time you go to a gas station, every time you go to a grocery store, you're showing the spirit of God through you to others because you walk in the water and the spirit of the word of God. And the water is the Bible, the living word of God. That is the water, the spoken words of Jesus that cover us, go through us, penetrate us, allowing the spirit to manifest through us so that we confess words of blessings, revival, repentance, restoration, reconciliation. This is how the glory of the Lord manifests through us. We're born again and we can tell the world we are born again because see they look at us and they go what's different about you? Because see they face death the same way you face death. But you understand as a believer in Christ that death is just another door to go into the next life with Jesus. And so we celebrate life when a passing takes place. Whereas we might grieve a little bit but we become above and beyond the grief because we miss them. We're a bit on the selfish side. we're going to miss him. But someone who is not of God are going to grieve and hurt so bad that they it's a very difficult time for them to come out of it. This is where we have to show them with Christ how much more they can believe and be at peace and joy. Even though we all suffer the same way, there's a big difference. And you can see this from the day Eve was created. You can see how this is impacted the world to this day. This is Jesus. He set it up from the very beginning. Now, women, we are to protect the inner parts of our man. And men, you are to cover your woman. And we're to manifest and walk in one flesh with the water and the spirit of God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word. We pray that your word does not return void. And we anoint your word. And your word is so powerful. It is your presence. It goes through. It ministers to us. Lord, we love you. We thank you. We honor you. And we worship you. We praise you. Lord, do not let us forget this word. Do not let the devil take this word out of our hearts and minds, but let us apply it and live it the way you designed us to be living, to live and to walk in this earth. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. God bless you. I'll see you in the next message. Bye-bye. Home Previous Next

CURSES To help believers understand the reality of curses, their causes, and their consequences, while also providing biblical teaching on how Christ’s redemption breaks the curse of the law and how believers can appropriate their deliverance through faith, obedience, and walking in the Spirit. CURSES Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: To help believers understand the reality of curses, their causes, and their consequences, while also providing biblical teaching on how Christ’s redemption breaks the curse of the law and how believers can appropriate their deliverance through faith, obedience, and walking in the Spirit. Synopsis: In CURSES, Pastor Marcos explores the biblical reality of curses, emphasizing that they are not just symbolic but spiritual forces with real negative effects on people’s lives. Drawing from Galatians 3:13, he highlights how Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, yet stresses the importance of appropriating that redemption in daily living. The lesson reviews the Old Testament foundation of blessings and curses, particularly in Deuteronomy 28–30, where God set before Israel the choice of life or death, blessing or curse. From a New Testament perspective, Pastor Marcos explains that those outside of Christ remain under the curse of the law, while those in Christ are legally redeemed. However, practically, some consequences of curses persist until believers apply biblical remedies such as repentance, faith, obedience, sacraments, and prayer. Referencing James 5 and Galatians 6, Pastor Marcos shows that healing and deliverance from curses often require confession, prayer, and living by the Spirit. He draws on Frank and Ida Mae Hammond’s teaching in The Breaking of Curses, outlining eight key principles: curses have causes, sin opens the door, curses are spiritual in nature, curses remain where sin remains, their power is demonic, the law offers no remedy, Christ redeemed us, and redemption must be appropriated. The lesson concludes that while curses still affect the world and even some believers, freedom is available through Christ. By walking in the Spirit, bearing spiritual fruit, and crucifying the works of the flesh, believers can live beyond the reach of curses, stepping fully into God’s blessing and protection. Inspired Teaching: Galatians 3:13 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’).” Glory to God for His redemptive power! In this lesson we will share with you a few points that all believers should know about curses and how they operate. Let us begin with the fact that curses are real, and that they have a real negative impact on those upon whom they land. Deuteronomy 28:20 “The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me.” The verse above is the summation of what Paul calls the curse of the law in his letter to the Galatians. Moses told the Israelites in Deuteronomy 28-30, that God was giving them a choice between blessings and cursing, and that by their decision to uphold or reject the promises that God was giving to them—either by their actions or by their neglect—that they would place themselves to receive the blessings or cursing as a result of what they chose to believe. Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” There is no in between when one belongs to God, and as it is written: The earth is the Lord...and all who dwell in it. Psalm 24:1 Matthew 12:30 “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” Let us ask this question from the New Testament perspective, Is the curse of the law active today against the human race? 1 Corinthians 16:22 “If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed (anathema). O Lord come!” Jesus Christ is the only One who has the power to redeem us from the curse of the law, so that all who are outside of Christ are still under the curse of the law. That is why Paul adds the phrase, O Lord come into those who do not yet know You so that they can be delivered from the curse of the law (interpretation mine). Paul knew that without Christ, who bore our curse on the cross—cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree—there can be no hope of redemption from all the curses stated in the law. From the New Testament perspective again we ask this question, Are all who receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord automatically delivered from all the curses stated in the law? Legally, yes! Practically, no! How do we know? Galatians 6:7-8 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” In practicality the nature of how the curses operate does not change, what changes is the legal rights of those who are still under the consequences of the curse of the law, but who have now been redeemed by Christ Jesus. Deliverance from the consequences of many of the curses has to be appropriated; we know some of the consequences are removed automatically when we get saved, while others are removed as we properly practice and partake of the sacraments, like water baptism and holy communion. Deuteronomy 28:60 “Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you.” Sickness and diseases come as the result of the curse of the law, when we get saved, we do not automatically get healed, although legally, we are already healed as soon as Christ comes into our hearts. 1 Peter 2:24 “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose striped you were healed.” In Christ—legally speaking—God does not consider us to be under the curse of the law any longer, but since God is not mocked, as long as we not having died to sins continue to live for unrighteousness, then the sickness and the diseases of the curse of the law shall cling continuously unless and until they are dealt with according to the Scriptures. James 5:14-16 “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save (deliver from the consequences of the curse) the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” Once in Christ, a way of escape from the consequences of the curse of the law is made available to the believer who wants to turn his/her life around so that they might live for righteousness sake. According to a book written by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond, who were considered to be pioneers in the deliverance ministry in the last century, there are eight basic laws that govern curses. For the benefit of those who are in Christ but still struggle with the consequences of the curse of the law, I will now list the eight principles that they believed and taught, govern all curses. 1) THERE IS A CAUSE FOR EVERY CURSE. Proverbs 26:2 “Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without cause shall not alight.” 2) SIN IS THE GATEWAY FOR THE CURSE. Genesis 3:14 “Because you have done this, you are cursed…” 3) A CURSE IS A SPIRITUAL PROBLEM THAT CANNOT BE REMEDIED BY NATURAL MEANS. Galatians 6:7-8 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows (seeks for a solution from the Holy Spirit) to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” 4) WHERE SIN REMAINS THE CURSE REMAINS. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn form their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 5) THE POWER OF A CURSE IS DEMONIC. Genesis 4:7 “If you do well (do the right thing), will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin (demons are the power behind the sinful act) lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” 6) THE LAW PROVIDED NO REMEDY FOR THE CURSE. Galatians 3:10 “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.’” 7) CHRIST REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW. Galatians 3:10 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’).” 8) THE REDEMPTION MUST BE APPROPRIATED. Genesis 22:16-18 “...By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice (and were willing to forfeit the most precious thing that you had in order to obtain the promise).” The eight points are quoted directly from the author, as well as many of the Scriptures he quoted to make his point, but the explanations in brackets which are not part of Scripture are mine. The name of the book is The Breaking of Curses, by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. Published by Impact Christian Books. Inc. We conclude then that curses are still part of everyday life for all who do not love Jesus Christ, and that for many who believe in Him, curses are still a part that affects them negatively. What then, shall a believer do, who wants to be freed from the consequences of the curses that he/she brought upon themselves by their lawless deeds, or about the iniquity that they have inherited by the lawless deeds of their ancestors, which still affects them today? Galatians 5:16 “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” How do we walk in the Spirit? Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no (curse of the) law.” To walk in the Spirit, one must walk in obedience to the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Works of the flesh are the mark of selfish ambitions, to which all of the curses are attached. All spiritual fruit leads to self-control which bear the mark of the flesh that has been crucified with all its passions and desires. Galatians 5:24 “And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” Spiritual fruit cannot be cursed because it is blessed by God. Previous Next Home
- UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION PART 6 | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION PART 6 Equip listeners to see how the entire Bible converges in Revelation, strengthening faith amid cultural pushback; explain God’s redemptive timeline (from the dispensations through Daniel’s 70 weeks to the Tribulation); and urge believers to trust God’s daily mercy, live with the mind of Christ, and proclaim the gospel while there is time. UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION PART 6 Pastor Marcos Marrero June 7, 2009 Objective: Equip listeners to see how the entire Bible converges in Revelation, strengthening faith amid cultural pushback; explain God’s redemptive timeline (from the dispensations through Daniel’s 70 weeks to the Tribulation); and urge believers to trust God’s daily mercy, live with the mind of Christ, and proclaim the gospel while there is time. Synopsis: The message opens in praise and prayer, anchoring hope in Lamentations 3:22–23—God’s mercies are new every morning. We thank God for adoption, sealing by the Spirit, and the commission to take the gospel to all nations. The speaker frames Revelation as the capstone where the preceding 65 books find fulfillment, arguing its coherence across 1,500 years of inspiration and encouraging confidence in Scripture despite modern skepticism. A sweeping overview of dispensations follows: Innocence (Adam and Eve) → Conscience (post-Fall self-awareness and the battle between God’s word and the serpent’s lies) → widespread corruption leading to the Flood at year 1,656 from Adam. Human Government begins at ~1,657 (Noahic covenant), continues to today, and will be judged when the “kingdoms of this world” become Christ’s. Promise (Abraham ~year 2000) establishes an eternal, twofold covenant (physical and spiritual seed). Law (Moses ~year 2500) given at Sinai; still awaiting judgment. Grace/Church Age (Christ at ~year 4000; Pentecost) fulfills Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, and inaugurates global gospel mission. The sermon contrasts the fallen human mind—at enmity with God—with the mind of Christ given to believers, illustrated by a dream showing supernatural peace in the face of death. Babel and Nimrod exemplify rebellion; today’s global systems (language/technology) foreshadow end-time centralization. Daniel 9’s “70 weeks” is unpacked: 490 years are decreed for Israel and Jerusalem. After 483 years “Messiah is cut off,” creating a pause in which grace goes to the nations. The final 7 years resume when Antichrist confirms a covenant: First half (1,260 days): Two Witnesses minister with miraculous authority; trumpet judgments include a five-month demonic torment and a massive mortality event; this period culminates in their martyrdom and the abomination of desolation. A brief midpoint pause is noted (their bodies lie unburied ~3.5 days), aligning time markers. Second half (1,290 days + 45 days): Great Tribulation against Israel escalates; days are “shortened for the elect.” Post-Tribulation, a 45-day window completes judgments of the nations. Satan is bound for the Millennium, ending open transgression and inaugurating righteousness. The message ties prophetic timing to Sabbaths and Jubilees (Israel’s failure to give the land rest; the Church at the 120th Jubilee), to the fall festivals (trumpets/Rosh Hashanah as the day of gathering), and to the covenant with David (explaining a period of “desolation” with no earthly representative after the Two Witnesses, during which an angel proclaims the everlasting gospel from the sky; Rev 14). Revelation 10’s seven thunders are sealed, underscoring that God withholds some details so people won’t postpone repentance. Throughout, believers are urged to reject the accuser’s voice and believe God’s verdict of righteousness in Christ, to rest in His mercy each morning, and to be doers of the Word. The sermon closes with prayer, inviting hearers to belong to Jesus now—sealed for the day of redemption and spared from the coming wrath. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Praise God. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. How many are glad you know Jesus? Amen. You know, one thing about Jesus, he's so full of mercy. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. It says uh I think in Lamentation 3:23 or 22 that his mercies are new every morning. [Music] Sometimes I go to sleep and say, "Oh man, I'm glad this day is over. Then I wake up in the morning and praise God, it's a new beginning." I tell you, so glad to have a a God that has put the past behind his back as far as the east is from the west and we can come to him every morning, brand new day. I got a brand new opportunity to start every morning when I wake up. Every single one of us does. No matter how bad it got yesterday or how bad it got today, we're as close to heaven as our knees are to the floor. Hallelujah. Our knees hit the floor and immediately he's there. Father in heaven, in Jesus name, we thank you for this opportunity to come together as a family tonight and to worship you, Father God. For you are King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You have given Jesus a name that is above every name. That at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow. Of things in heaven above, on the earth beneath or in the waters below. We thank you that we have the spirit of uh adoption, that we have been sealed with the spirit of promise, Father God, and that we're waiting for the redemption of our bodies to take place. But meanwhile, we have been commissioned to proclaim the gospel to every creature. Wherever the there's breath, wherever there's air, let us proclaim that precious gospel, Father God, from all the ways to Thailand, all the way to South America, all the way to the north and to the south and to the east and to the west. Let this gospel of the kingdom be proclaimed, Father God. and let the anointing of the Holy Spirit back it up, Father God, so that people will know that Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, that he loves them and that they will repent and come to him. Bless uh tonight, Fred and Tony Harour and Vision for Women Ministries and the family that worships and fellowships here, Father God. And as we get together now to partake of your bread, the word of life, we ask, Father God, like Fred said, that you would bind any hindrances, any spirit that will somehow keep us from hearing. We pray that you bind it. And we ask by the spirit of grace that you grant us ears to hear that you open our hearts to understand and that you anoint now the words by the god that the spirit that the holy spirit will bring forth that we may be able to learn from them and be fed and nourished and transformed that we may be doers of the word and not just hearers only in Jesus name we love you lord. Amen. Praise God. But as you notice, I got you a couple of uh pages that are note and always when I start, I start try to give a rundown to keep things into context because you have to understand that the book of Revelation is where everything is completed. So here you have 65 books of the Bible. Okay? and everything that's been written on those 65 books of the Bible has to find a fulfillment in that 22 chapters that we have in in the book of revelation. So uh my faith when I began to understand the book of revelation was just so tremendously uplifted because I know that the Bible was written in the span of 1500 years from the first time that Moses wrote uh uh and Job was written like 1500 years before Christ to the gospels and that big span of time and so many different writers and to have all of uh come together so precisely in in the book that proclaims to be the end of God. My faith just shut up because you know we face our our our um what we believe is being challenged every day. You listen to music, your faith is being challenged. You watch TV, your faith is being challenged. You know, uh you speak in tongues, they think you're crazy. You know, you believe the word of God. We believe that actually the earth was created 6,000 years ago. A man, you're stupid. You're radical. You're all these things. So, we are being challenged. And you know, all I simply do is when I see some uh dumb dumb uh talking head on TV saying, "How could you know this be like that?" I said, "Well, you know what? I'm I'm old. I'm I was born in 47. I challenge any of those guys to take their books that they had in school in the 1950s and get the theories that they were teaching over there and look at the books that they have now and they totally change. Everything they said back then was proven wrong. They have some new theories now. And I can take my Bible and tell them, guess what? It hasn't changed. It hasn't changed. And the more and the more that they study and dig into it, the more they're finding out. You know, God said that when he made man, he took dirt out of the ground. Lo and behold, they come to find out that we're dirt. All of the chemicals that form our body are found in the dirt. You know, you just mix it with 80% 90% water and guess what? You have a body. So, this is what's so exciting about the book of Revelation. So I I try I'm trying to get you to to so that at least you can see it coming together if for anything more than to establish your faith. Because if I can believe that everything that Moses wrote is coming, you know, 2500 years ago is coming to pass right now. I know that Moses saw ahead of time what was coming, was able to write about it. Then I can trust what he says. You know, they make a big thing about this Nostradamus guy, some guy that lived 500 years ago because he makes certain prophecies and riddles and stuff like that. John in Revelation says that a mark of the beast that every single person in the world will have to receive a mark and that without that mark you can buy or sell. This would never ever make sense until the computer age came into being. And yet you never hear them talking about that. Why? Because if if that is right, then Jesus coming soon is right as well. They don't want to hear that part. So they will tell you right talking about Nostradamus, some uh uh uh uh I don't know what he was into, but it had to do a lot with divination. Let's put it this way. Some guy that pe into the darkness and saw a few things. I'd rather get the guy that went up to heaven and saw the one that was sitting in heaven and saw the lamb of God and got it directly from the God and said, "Write this." And told him, "Don't write this." So that's why I'm trying to to kind of give you a sense of what is going. Now the two pages are like a review because last week we got into the first half of what is called the tribulation period or the wrath of God. And I want to show you how that comes about because a lot of times we that teach in in in things of revelation take it for granted that everybody else knows. So when we say the 70th week of Daniel or the seven last years, a lot of people that are new to Christianity or have never studied uh prophecy may not know it. So in your dispensational charge, innocence, and I know I put paradise on there, I corrected on mine, but innocence was where the first dispensation. Adam and Eve were innocent and they were in paradise. And that was the beginning of time. There was no evolution. Men didn't come from a soupy thing or whatever. God just simply made an earth and then he took the dirt of the earth. He blew his breath into it. The spirit of God enter into a a a physical thing and the body became a human soul. Conscience is when Adam became self-aware. It's very important that we understand this because when Adam became self-aware, their faith was challenged. Their faith was challenged because a third party, in this case the snake or the serpent or the devil comes in and say, "Don't you guys know that you're naked? You know, here you think you're looking real cool and then somebody comes in all of a sudden tells you, you know, hey, you know, your hair or you're messed up or whatever, then all of a sudden you man, all your confidence just crumble." So they were told that they were naked. And of course, what God intended was that men would say, "Yeah, I am naked." But God says I am good. And as long as God says I'm good, I'm good. I don't care what you say. God says the standard, not the devil. And believe it or not, that's the circumstance we're in now. God says we're the righteousness of God of Christ Jesus. And yet I can guarantee that every single day the devil talks to each every one of us and say you're nothing but a lousy loser or this or that or the other. And we have to make a choice. And that choice is do I believe God or do I believe the devil? Thank God for a man like Joshua who said as for me in my house we will serve the Lord. We want to believe what the word of God says. And because of that I can stand up every morning. I don't care how messed up I messed up. I can get up every morning and said God says I'm good and as long as I hear you say otherwise Jesus I'm going to believe you and not going to believe the rest of it. So he became self-aware. And so because of that, now this period of time, innocent, nobody knows how long innocent lasted. When Adam and Eve were created and were in the garden and name all of the animals and everything, there's no time reference on that because this is a time that they spent with God. So time really began when uh men became self-aware. As men became self-aware, their conscience, the Bible says by the time we get to Noah in in Revelation, I mean in Genesis chapter 6, that men's conscience were so polluted that men's thoughts were constantly evil all the time. In other words, the consciences of men were seared up so bad that h God had to destroy everything that had the breath of life in it. this happened. And and this is important that you see this this calendar because I'm not counting by our years that we count here. I want you to see it from God's calendar from the beginning of time from from the time that Adam was created. And you can add it up. I added it up and a bunch of people added it up. We all come up with the same thing. 1,656 years. 1,656 years after Adam was created, God destroyed the world. He brought a worldwide flood that covered the entire earth and everything that had the breath of life was destroyed except for Adam, his wife, I mean Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives. Eight people were on the ark. This happened on the year 1,656 from the time that Adam was created. Now, we know that it'll only rain for a day, for 40 days and 49. They were actually on the ark about a year. So the from the time that they were drifting until they landed and all of that, they were in the ark a year. So they came out of the ark in the year 1,657. At that time, God had to reestablish the covenant. Remember, God is the God of covenant. Every dispensation that God makes has laws. For Adam and Eve in conscience, their law was you can eat of anything you want to. You can do whatever you want to. You can do cartwheels. live, serve, whatever you want to do, you do it. Just stay away from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That was the only law that applied to them and it only applied to those two people. Uh over here in the in in in conscience, what applied was uh the word of God versus the word of Satan because that's the heritage that Adam and Eve gave to their children. They partake of the tree of the knowledge of the good and evil. So they um passed to us this conscience that we're battling all the time, good and evil, having to go with good and evil. We know that Enoch, who was the seventh from Adam, was a preacher of righteousness. We know that Noah also was a preacher of righteousness. So they had the word of God preached in those days but it got so bad that the people's consciences were seared and so God judge conscience. He says men's conscience from now on cannot be trusted. This is why the Bible says that your mind is at war with God. For us believer Paul makes this point in Romans chapter uh through many of the chapters chapter 7 chapter 8 he says our mind is enmity with God. It's at war with God. So you say, "How can we be saved?" The mind of Christ. When you get born again, the spirit of God comes into you. And now you have the mind of Christ. You're able to reason by virtue of the word of God. I can say, "I am what God says." And I can tell Satan, "Shut up." When he tells me I'm not. They may still be a battle, but I have peace. And I have peace with God. As a matter of fact, I had a dream last night. It was so weird. I'm not going to tell you the the four dreams that, but in one, I was in a plane. And it was weird. There was like one of those old planes where you're sitting with your back to the uh the side and there were people sitting on the front and uh there was a group of of men in the plane I think and I don't know we're going to a mission or whatever but it was had to do with church and as I'm going the plane is banking to land and we're just having a good time and then all of a sudden something happened the plane something went wrong with the plane and it flipped and as it flipped started going head first into the ground. I mean, this is a such a vivid dream. I mean, it's just so incredible. And as I'm going, I know this is it. And I just raise up my hands and began to worship the Lord and thank him. And I'm saying, man, I'm going to see you in just like I I know the plane was just about to crash, but I was just getting excited. I'm going to see Jesus. Then all of a sudden, he was able to level the plane and they landed. I said, "Man, I can't believe that." And I said to myself, uh, how could I even dream that being so sure that I was going to die? But even in my dream, I was so sure I was about to see Jesus. Why? Because that's the mind of Christ. See, the old mind, the doubting mind, that mind has been superimposed by the word of God and by me trusting and believing what the word of God said. So it has become part of me. Hallelujah. That even and and I believe that if that were to happen, that's exactly how we react. Why? because that's that's what is in my spirit. So then conscience was judged. Innocence was judged. Men can never go back to innocent. Conscience was judged at the end of 1,656 years. And then the human government started on the year 1,657. Noah came out. He took two of every paris except for the clean animals. The clean animals that could be offered a sacrifice. He took seven. So what does Noah does? He brings a clean animal is offer he offers a sacrifice to God. God smells the sweet offering of the sacrifice and he enter into a covenant with Noah. So now we have what is called the dispensation of human government. Human government started in the year 1,657 from the time that Adam was created and has never ended yet. This is why we have government because the the government of man is still here. If you remember, God said to Noah, have your children spread all over the earth and cover the whole earth. A guy rises up whose name is Nimrod, who was the son of Kush. Kush. Kush means confusion. He's pretty confused guy. He raises up his own. He goes into rebellion and they say, "We don't want to be scattered and nobody will know who we are. We want to make a name for ourselves. So he builds up a tower. This tower has the physical and spiritual meaning. The spiritual meaning is they're opening the the gates to self which is what the tree of knowledge of good and evil is. Self made self manmade knowledge it to worship that and he allows a whole bunch of demons in. Now God did not judge them. Horses with chariots of fire didn't come from heaven and judge these people that rebelled. No, God confused their language and forced them to scatter because you go to a group and they don't understand, you don't understand them. You get frustrated. So, you go to another. Finally, you find somebody you can talk to and that's who you go with. And this is where the people that went to Africa and the people that went to Asia and Europe and the people that came to America, they all scatter because that's what God has told them to do with. But God has not deal with that yet. So here we have a dispensation of manmade governments that Jesus is going to judge. Why is he going to judge? Because he's king of king and lord of lord. All government has to answer to him. Okay. Why is this important? Because the judgment of what the bible calls in revelation the kingdoms of this world are now the kingdoms of our lord is going to happen during this seven-year period. So I want you to see this. Now Jesus said one of the spiritual principles that Jesus taught is that the first shall be last and the last shall be first. Meaning this is the first dispensation that hasn't been judged yet will be judged last. When is the kingdoms of this world going to be judged? They are going to be judged in the second half of the wrath of God. The first half is 1,260 days. You have five days in between. And the second half is 1,290 days, which by the way is 7 years. 2555 days. At the end of 2555 days, the seven years exactly, God is going to begin the judgment of the kingdoms of this world. At that time, the head of the kingdoms of the world is going to be the antichrist. And he's going to mount an army with huge amounts of men to try to fight the Lord when he's coming. The Bible tells us, and when we get to this part of it, we'll see it, that this judgment of God is going to take place in 42 days. Daniel 12:11 tells you this, for uh 1,290 days. And they said, "Blessed is he who waits for and makes it to the 1,335 days." That means after the 2,290 days, God has 45 days. 42 days, that's seven time six. That means seven Sabbaths or seven weeks with beginning of a Sabbath and the end of the Sabbath, God is going to judge the kingdoms of this world. So before God can judge the kingdoms of this world, he has to bring the kingdoms of this world together. That's what we're experiencing today in our generation. For the first time since the days of Nimro when everybody spoke the same language, men from every nation on the world, I think there's 180 some nations in the world now. they can go into the United Nations and whoever the head of state is or whoever the representative is can go ahead and speak and every other member that's over there with their earphones on can hear everything that person is saying because the United Nations has an army of interpreters of every language that there is more than that we're living in a time to where you can have a body on the internet in China he doesn't know a thing of English and you don't don't know anything or Chinese, your computer can translate for you and you can type whatever you want to. It's translated to Chinese. He can send it back to you. And that is going on today. We're living in the day to when God is bringing the the kingdoms of this world into a time. That's why it's so important to see that. Then since man could not save himself in innocence and in conscience and in government, God introduced the promise. God took uh this guy named Abraham. Abraham was born and I have added the numbers and everything is locked up in in my garage so I couldn't have access so I'm going by memory which thank God is still pretty good. Abraham was born somewhere in 1990 1995. So I round it off to the year 2000. Abraham was born and and you'll see it at the bottom. I put it for you so you can have a graphic in your mind of the uh Bible timeline. Abraham was born around the year 2000 when he was about 70 years old. That's why I put there 2007 and these are approximate time except for the 1656. That was a set time. You can actually count the years from Adam to the time that the flood took place. But God calls his men named Abraham out of where Iraq is today. He calls him out into where Israel is today. And God enters into a covenant with this man. the covenant with of promise. Now the promise of God are eternal. The Bible says that the word of God is forever settled in heaven. I think Psalm 119 uh the word of God is forever settle in heaven. So when God gives you a promise is eternal because God is not bound by time. He's saying yesterday, today and forever. So if he promised you something today, it's just as good forever. So when God introduced the promise to Abraham, it was a two-fold promise. He says, "Out of your seed, I'm going to bring sand of the seashore." That's a physical promise. And as numerous as the stars in the sky, that is a key for a spiritual promise. So out of Abraham comes law and grace. Now the promise of God in the covenant was given about the year 2017. Now you read Paul in Romans and he says that we are joint hes with Abraham. We're part when he's discussing Israel and I think it's Romans 9:101 11 that area there he's discussing Israel and the church he says we're part of it because the promise was given to the man of faith Abraham. See when the woman that wasn't a Jew had a child that was demonp possessed and brings it to Jesus. Jesus says I can't heal him. God call me to the house of Israel first. So the woman says, "Yeah, but even the dogs get to eat the crumbs that fall out of the the table that the children the the bread the children's bread that falls out of the table." See, what she did is she bypassed Moses the law and she reached all the way to Abraham. Abraham is a man of faith. So when she says, "Yeah, I know that that you're coming to fulfill the law and that you're giving the bread to the children of Israel, but according to Abraham, I'm an heir, too, and I can partake of that bread." And Jesus said, "Your faith got you what you wanted." See, faith elevates above law or grace. Why? Because faith comes through Abraham, the man of faith, the friend of God. That's the covenant. That's the covenant that God honors. Even Noah, I mean, even Noah and Adam, when they went into paradise, they were under Abraham. Abraham is the one that was in charge of paradise. Why? Because paradise was a holding place until the true blood was shed. And who's the one that believe that? Abraham. And how did he believe that? He took three animals. He took two birds. He cut them on half. And he kept the verse of pray. And when evening came, God came like a torch and it passed through it. Back in the days of of of of Bible days, you enter into a covenant with a person. You took an animal. You cut the animal in half. You split the parts. It was a bloody mess in the middle. You would hold the hand of the person you were entering into a covenant with. And you walk through the blood and you say, "May the same thing happened to me if I don't keep my word." And your shoes got all bloody. That was a testimony. You have entered into a covenant. Well, Abraham didn't walk in there. This covenant was God who made it. He's the one that walked between the pieces. And he says, and and you know, did you know that the the the animals each represent a dispensation of time? There were three animals, uh, a goat, uh, a bull, and a ram. And they were cut in half. One, two, three, four, five, six. Each one of them represented the six years. Then you have a bird on each side, a fleshling bird and a dog. And the bird, remember, the kingdom is represented as an eagle. So that tells you the the first bird indicated the beginning of man in the spirit and the ending of man after the rapture he goes into the kingdom. So God was making a covenant for the whole 7,000 years when he enter into that. So we're part of the covenant that God made with Abraham. Now out of Abraham came the law. The law came first. And so the law came through Moses about 430 years after Abraham the year 2070. You add 430 years to 2070 and you come to about the year 2500. Like I said these are are all approximate numbers about 2500. This is 1500 years before Jesus Christ because remember now they count the time backwards. That's why it's easier for me to count it forward. From the time that Adam was created to the time that God entered into a covenant with Moses or revealed the law to Moses was two 2500 years. Now in the law God said to Moses tell the Israelites to purify themselves because in three days I'm going to come and show myself to them. They all purify themselves. God actually descends. This is not in physical body in his glory. He comes God covered himself in darkness like a huge dark cloud. This cloud came in and rested on Mount Si. Mount Sinai is in Saudi Arabia and to this burn up. The whole top is burned up. The Saudi Arabians know what happened there. So they have a big fence. There's many Christians try to sneak in there. They go to jail and everything because that's that is the place where God descended. See when they cross the Red Sea, they cross it from that big channel where where um Saudi Arabia is the Gulf of Aquabad. I I don't remember what they call that part there, but I mean this is no junky little thing. This thing is a huge place and they have a video to where their share wheels and everything down there. They came up with with a more they went back and and redid it again and got more pictures. I just got advertisement on it. So anyway, God comes into the mountain is thundering and shaking so bad. Moses says, "My knees are trembling." And the people say to Moses, "You know what? We can't handle this, God. We're going to go away. You talk to God and whatever God tells you, we'll do." And so that's how the covenant of the law came. Now, the covenant of law started in the year 2500. And the covenant law has not been judged yet. So the jud the law will be judged in the middle of the tribulation or in the day of of atonement. We'll get to that in a minute. So here remember we're talking about the last seven years. The last seven years 2555 days. That's seven years. At the end of the 200 2555 days, the kingdoms of this world are going to be judged. Then Jesus Christ is going to come and set up this kingdom of a thousand years. In the middle of it, after the 1,260 days, the first half, the law is going to be judged. We talked about this last week when we said that first for the first five months, the first war, which is the sixth trumpet, uh God releases all of the demons that are in hell into the earth. And people are tormented for five months. Five whole month they cannot die. Nobody can die at that time. But so that humans will know that hell is real. God does that. Then at the end of the five months, God releases the four angels that are bound to the river Euphrates. And they will kill onethird of all of the humans that are at that time. And this is fulfilled at the end of the 1,260th day. That's when the two witnesses are killed. That is a day of atonement for the Jews. So that means that law is going to be judged in the middle of this dispensation. Now the other thing that got introduced was grace. Grace begins with the word of God. The promise when the promise the word of God became flesh in the wood of in the womb of the woman. He was born. He lived fulfilled the law. He died our sacrificial death which is the Passover as the lamb of God. Remember when John saw him, John says, "Behold the lamb of God that takes the sin of the world." The sin of the world was represented by the feast of unleaven bread. And uh the Jews follow a lunar calendar and their year begins in March uh or April depending on their calendar. This is why Passover is different all the time. the 14th day of the first Jewish month which is a full moon because the 28 day cycle the full is moon the moon is full at the 14th day on the 14th day you're to celebrate the Passover in the evening it says as evening begins on the 15th day you are to celebrate the feast of unleaven bread and then on the Sunday after the next the first day of the week after the Sabbath you are supposed to celebrate the feast of first fruit. This is in Leviticus 23 if you want reference. So here we see that in grace, the dispensation of grace, the sixth dispensation, God fulfills all of this. Jesus is the word that became flesh in the seat of the woman, fulfilled the law, died the sacrificial death on the day of Passover as the lamb of God. That evening when they put his body before the sunset, remember the the the rich guy, Joseph, the rich guy came in and said, "We don't want to leave the bodies there." Pilate gave him permission. They took the body of Jesus, stopped it in the tomb before the sun said. That is when uh the feast of unleaven bread began. Jesus is the broken the body the bread that was broken for us to take away sin. This is what communion mean. The broken body when you take it takes away your sin away. He took away the sin of the world at that time by becoming our leaven bread. Then on the third day which will be uh Saturday night as Sunday begins in the evening. He rose up. He's the first born from the dead, the first fruit, the first human that is complete like God intended. He is totally physical yet totally spiritual because the spirit of God lives in him. That means he can walk through walls. He can take this physical body and disassemble every atom and walk through there because if you know air fills most of everything. You know they discover now you can magnify to the tiniest tiniest tin. Everything no matter how hard it is has air in between. Things are just hold together. Atoms are held together by some kind of a glue or whatever. And so Jesus can actually deotize his body and walk through walls. He can think I'm going I want to be in the moon and he can be there. You in the spirit you travel at the speed of thought. So this is what Jesus did. He rose up and and became our first fruit. Then he comes up shows himself to his disciples after appearing in the room where everything locked and says here fill me. A a ghost doesn't have a body like I have. You can feel it. And then he says, "Now you go preach the gospel to of the kingdom to the whole world, but first go to Jerusalem and wait until you're do endued with power." So 50 days later, 50 is 7* 7 which is 49. And then the 50th is the jubilee. The Holy Spirit comes and it falls upon the church. Now, we taught that when the sixth seal takes place, there's earthquakes and there's all kinds of things. That is the fulfillment of the second part of the promise that Peter read on the day of Pentecost when the church was filled with power because he said, "Your men and your sons and your daughters, they will prophesy. They will see vision. They will dream dreams." And all of that was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost. But he keeps quoting Joel and he says, "And there will be h a clouds and billows of smoke and there will be signs on the earth on the heaven above and on the earth beneath and all of the things going to happen when before the great day of the Lord and everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." So we can see now that Pentecost is the key pin that ties the first fruits or the first lot the the former reign as the Bible calls the first coming of Jesus to the latter reign the second coming of Jesus. So when the trumpet blows after the sixth seal is open and we can see in in in in Revelation chapter 7, people from every tribe and from every kindred and from every in there that is the fulfillment of the promise of God on when on the day of the blowing of trumpets or in the new year. See, because the Jews don't celebrate New Year's on the first day of their year, which is March or April. God says you work for six months, the seventh month, the first day of the seventh month. That is your new year. Why? Because that's when you enter into your rest. That is when you enter into your rest. So the Jews blow the trumpet, the chauffeur, on the first day of the seventh month. Guess what? The sixth chapter, the sixth seal, the 6,000 year, six, six, everything is six there. So, it takes you to the day of rest. So, the church then is rapture first. That's why Jesus says, "The first shall be last and the last shall be first." So, when the church is taken away, the seven years begin in the middle of the seven years, God is in and the age of and the age of grace concludes at the time. By the way, the age of grace will last 2,000 years because, as you can see, grace came in uh about 4,000 years after the creation of Adam. It it began Jesus was born on the on the on the beginning or on the end of the 4,000 years, the beginning of the fifth. And if you look at Genesis, that's when the physical sun was created. If you look at it in the creation, it says that there was light. Before the sun was created, there was light on the first day. There was light on the second day. There was light on the third day and the sun was created on the fourth day. This is why many people say, "Oh, the Bible, t Home Previous Next
- PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
Say this prayer out loud: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world; the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.” Father God, I bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, with open ears, eyes, hearts, and minds to see, hear, receive, and believe the living Word of God because you state in Mark 4:12 KJV “12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” I pray in hope that they see and perceive, hear and understand so they would believe in Jesus the Son of the living God! And Heavenly Father, I bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in the hearts of the people in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists to forgive and reconcile the nation back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray that the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I also pray that past generations deceived by lies would be restored to the truth going forward. I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” manifests within the hearts of the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world. I pray that those who work in mainstream media, media outlets, and/or as a journalist that they will share truth and fact from the Bible. Declaring the Bible as truth and they are led by the Holy Spirit. I pray that the gifts of the Holy Hpirit stated in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12 KJV “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” would unite the body of Christ under one leadership, the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God moves through each of us so that we know what to pray, how to pray, when to pray, and praise the living God in all that we do. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen!PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM Say this prayer out loud: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world; the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen! - INDIGNATION AND WRATH | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
INDIGNATION AND WRATH To help believers understand the seriousness of rejecting God’s grace, the consequences of self-seeking and disobedience to the truth, and the distinction between justification and sanctification in relation to God’s indignation and wrath. The goal is to encourage repentance, self-denial, and perseverance in God’s grace so that we may escape His wrath and receive eternal rewards. INDIGNATION AND WRATH Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: To help believers understand the seriousness of rejecting God’s grace, the consequences of self-seeking and disobedience to the truth, and the distinction between justification and sanctification in relation to God’s indignation and wrath. The goal is to encourage repentance, self-denial, and perseverance in God’s grace so that we may escape His wrath and receive eternal rewards. Synopsis: This teaching explores Paul’s warning in Romans 2:8 about God’s indignation and wrath toward those who are self-seeking and reject His truth. God’s wrath is not arbitrary, but the natural result of sowing rebellion and despising His grace. While justification instantly grants forgiveness through faith in Christ, sanctification is an ongoing process of cleansing and self-denial. Believers who persist in selfish ambition risk falling under God’s indignation and forfeiting eternal rewards, even though salvation itself is secure. Paul emphasizes that God’s grace teaches us to deny ungodliness and live righteously, preparing us for Christ’s return. Those who fail to prepare, like the unfaithful servant in Luke 12, may face discipline and endure God’s wrath alongside unbelievers before restoration. Revelation 3 contrasts the faithful Philadelphia church, spared from the hour of trial, with the lukewarm Laodiceans, who are warned to repent through refining fire. Ultimately, salvation is a free gift, but eternal rewards are tied to faithfulness. Self-seeking leads to loss, while self-denial leads to eternal gain. Believers are urged to repent, embrace sanctification, and walk in God’s grace so that when Christ returns, they will be found faithful, spared from wrath, and rewarded in eternity. Inspired Teaching: Romans 2:8 “But to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath.” God’s indignation is kindled by those who despise God’s grace. Imagine knowing that a great disaster is about to be unleashed and that the people that are on its path are not aware of it; so you make every effort to warn those who are in the place that will soon be destroyed that they need to escape—only to be rejected and scorned by those very people you are trying to save. Rejection is what makes God indignant and causes those who reject God’s free offer of grace to fall under the wheels of God’s wrath. God’s wrath comes as the result of reaping that which we have sown. Romans 2:6 “Who will render to each one according to his deeds.” The reality is that there are people who are stubborn and who will not listen to reason, now why is that? There are probably many reasons why people behave the way they do, but in our opening text God gives us the key that exposes the root cause for rebellion—those who are self-seeking. We may not be fully aware of this truth, but if we take a close and careful look in the mirror, it will not be long before we come face to face with our mortal enemy and find that—surprise— it is us! If we want to fully understand God’s grace, His wrath, His indignation, we have to view them from the perspective of our own mortality. Let’s face it—self-seeking is hardwired into every one of us; just look at an infant, when they do not get what they want or need, they let you know it right away, and in no uncertain terms. The grace of God teaches us, first of all, about the dangers of selfish ambitions. We cannot accept God’s grace unless we first acknowledge the fact that we are in need of it. Titus 2:11-12 “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.” Once we realize that we are our own worst enemy, and that God’s wrath will fall upon those whose deeds do not live up to God’s standards, then, the only logical conclusion that we are left with is that we are in need of His grace, so that we repent and accept His offer of forgiveness. But if after we have received His forgiveness, we despise His grace by continuously seeking our own selfish ways—after we’ve been delivered from the consequences of them—do we kindle then, His indignation, and fall back into the wrath that He worked so hard to deliver us from? Romans 2:4-5 “Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.” It is clear that Paul is addressing believers in his letters that he wrote to the churches. It is also clear that only those who are under God’s grace, are in a position to despise such grace. For how can we despise something that we have not personally experienced? Wrath in the day of wrath. God’s salvation has two basic components: Forgiveness and cleansing. 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” The theological terms are Justification and Sanctification. Justification happens instantly, as soon as we confess our sins before God in Jesus name, we are immediately forgiven. Sanctification is a process which begins the day that we are justified. This process is God’s mechanism to deliver us—cleanse us—from the consequences of all the sins that we have committed. The agent that God uses to bring about His forgiveness and cleansing in us, is His grace: For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age. In Justification we pass from death into life in an instant. The same grace that saves us, now preserves us, while the process of Sanctification takes place. In order to receive salvation, we have to ask God for it with a repentant heart. In the process of sanctification, we have to learn how to deny ourselves and live for God, by the power of His grace that sustains us. For we know that those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness fall under the indignation of God’s wrath. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Remember that salvation has two components, forgiveness gets us into heaven, and cleansing delivers us from the wrath of God’s indignation. 1 Corinthians 3:11, 13, 15 “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ (our salvation)...Each one’s work (selfish ambition or self-denial) will become clear; for the Day (of God’s wrath) will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is...If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss (cleansing from the consequences of their sins while on this earth); but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” Salvation is a gift which cannot be earned; those who truly repent and accept God’s grace and forgiveness of sins, are immediately justified and on their way to heaven. But while here on earth after we get saved, the grace of God teaches us to deny ourselves and to flee from all the worldly lusts and self-seeking that got us into the mess we were in before we got saved. Refusing to deny ourselves incurs God’s indignation and wrath in the day of His wrath, so that we miss out in the cleansing part. Matthew 10:39 “He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake (denies himself to receive the cleaning) will find it.” If we still go to heaven, what is it then that we lose? Every believer that dies goes before the Judgment Seat of Christ, which is a judgment of rewards or the forfeiting of them as we read in: 1 Corinthians 3:14-15 “If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” To the Corinthians Paul is talking about the works that those who were saved and died, built on the foundation of their salvation, and about what happens on the coming Day of judgment that will reveal whether those works were the result of self-seeking or self-denial. But what Paul is talking about in his letter to the Romans is what happens in the Day of His Wrath to those who are alive when He returns to the earth, and finds them doing their own works instead of being sanctified to do the Lord’s work. Luke 12:46-47 “The master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.” Notice first, how Jesus considers the servant to be a believer who was unprepared and not looking for His return. After cutting him in two, He assigns that servant a portion with the unbelievers, which is to be beaten with many stripes. What did Jesus mean by cutting him in two? I believe Jesus was referring to the separation between the justification and the sanctification of that wicked servant. He was still considered a saved servant who belonged to Him. But since he did not prepare or sanctify himself for His master’s return, he must suffer punishment before he is restored, which is the indignation of God’s wrath. His portion with the unbelievers means that he has to go through the wrath that those who rejected God’s free grace must go through, but God will save him after his many stripes are completed. If we read Revelation chapter three where the fate of the last two churches is decreed by Jesus Himself before His return, we find that the Philadelphia church is spared from the hour of trial—wrath—that is coming upon the whole world to test those who live in the world, because they kept His Word and did not deny His name. Revelation 3:8, 10 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door (the rapture), and no one can shut it; for you have little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name...Because you have kept My command to persevere (through sanctification), I also will keep you from the hour of trial (God’s indignation and wrath) which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” Then we read about the Laodicea church, and we see a different story. Revelation 3:18-19 “I counsel you to buy from Me gold (sanctification) refined in the fire...As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten (discipline). Therefore be zealous and repent.” The good news is, as of this writing, the rapture has not taken place yet. Jesus’ offer to be zealous and repentance is still available to all who believe. It is never too late to start denying ourselves for the sake of Jesus Christ and for the glory of His Gospel of peace. What ever it is that our self-seeking is gaining for us in this life is not worth losing the eternal rewards that follow faithfulness to the Word of God. There is no comparison between a few years and eternity. All that we possess will be left behind the day that we are taken away from this earthly realm. There are no u-hauls attached to the hearse. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. Let us make haste, for Jesus is coming very soon. Previous Next Home
- THE FOUNDATION TO WALKING IN THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
THE FOUNDATION TO WALKING IN THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT The objective of this teaching is to establish a biblical foundation for walking in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It emphasizes the importance of humility, love, unity, and a strong relationship with the Lord as the groundwork necessary to operate effectively in spiritual gifts. By exploring Ephesians 4, the lesson calls believers to walk worthy of their calling and to use their God-given gifts for the edification and unity of the Body of Christ. THE FOUNDATION TO WALKING IN THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT Minister Lisa Kane June 1, 2025 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to establish a biblical foundation for walking in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa Kane of House of Faith Ministries shares insights on “The Foundation to Walking in the Gifts of the Spirit” from Ephesians 4. She begins by stressing that spiritual gifts must rest on a solid foundation of humility, meekness, patience, and love. Walking in these virtues allows believers to exercise their calling—whether teaching, evangelizing, shepherding, prophesying, or simply serving with kindness—in a way that glorifies Christ rather than themselves. Lisa underscores that the gifts are given not for personal recognition but for building up the church in unity under one Spirit, one Lord, and one faith. She reminds listeners that while doctrines may differ among teachers, love and prayer must guide how we relate to one another, avoiding division and deception. The teaching highlights that every calling is valuable, whether seen or unseen, and that true effectiveness comes from submitting to the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to transform hearts. Ultimately, the message encourages believers to pursue their calling with obedience, grounded in love, and anchored in Christ, so that the body of Christ may grow in maturity and unity until His return. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this teaching on Sunday, June 1st, 2025. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word that it does not return void, that it fills us, that we remember it, that we apply it to our lives, that we're hearing your word, and that we don't forget it. Thank you for teaching us your word. And I thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Welcome. I'm glad you can join us. This teaching is called the foundation to walking in the gifts of the spirit. We're going to be in Ephesians 4. So, let's start here with verse one. I therefore the prisoner of the Lord beseech or invite you that ye walk worthy or appropriately of the vocation wherewith ye are called. So, what I'm going to do here in this teaching is teach a foundational approach to walking in the spirit. uh the gifts of the spirit. This is because um we're to walk in the gifts of the spirit. But in order to walk in those gifts, we need to know what we're doing. And we need to make certain that we have our relationship established with the Lord, that we are spending time with the Lord. We're in a different season in time than let's say 20 years ago, even 10 years ago. Our season that we're in, we're fast approaching end times here. And I'm expecting this to happen in our lifetime. So this is a time where one, we have to put God first in our lives. He's our priority. And two, we need to understand what's going on. Now, I'm called to teach. I'm called to be a teacher. And I teach the word of God, which means I'm studying it, spending a lot of time with the Lord, asking him a lot of questions. Now, this particular teaching, last Tuesday night, we I was in a a Bible study that I attend on Zoom on Tuesday nights. It's a women's group Bible study. and uh uh it kind of became an impromptu teaching. So, now that I've had more time to look at it, I'm going to add a little bit more to it, but we're going to talk about that foundation to walking in the gifts of the spirit. And I'm praying that you pray about this. You spend some time with the Lord. Ask him where your calling is. You know, I'm also an intercessory prayer. I don't I'm not a pastor. I'm not called to pastor a church. I do not have that going. That's a special calling if you ask me. But I am called to teach and that I do whether anyone listens to me or not. I'm being obedient to the Lord and I'm teaching might be a unique different kind of way because I do it through video. But I also teach live either through online or at locations, churches and stuff like that and Bible studies and so forth. But my primary teaching is right here through the House of Faith Ministries and it is through the this web. If you have questions, you can email them. go to the contact us in houseof faith ministries.org and um I will get your message. All right. All right. So here's the first verse that I just read a little bit ago. I therefore the prisoner of the Lord beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. So he's telling us listen you need to walk worthy what's uh he appropriately for the calling that you are in. Now whether that calling is to be a pastor or a teacher and remember even though we're going to talk about certain specific gifts of the spirit here the intent is that whatever you believe your calling is and your calling could be different. You could be organizing group events. You could be uh walking daily because you need to do that for your health and you're smiling people telling people God bless you. Have a great day. that type of calling is also included in this and he's telling you to walk worthy of it. So in other words, if you wake up tired, which I woke up tired this morning. I um didn't sleep well last night. But at the same time, it's like, you know what, Lord, I'm still going to teach your message. I'm still putting in my full potential because that is what we're called to do. So Paul is telling us very clearly to walk appropriately in that calling. No, he's telling us how to do it with all loneliness. That which is another word for modesty or humbleness and meekness, which is gentleness, with longsuffering, fortitude, forbearing or putting up with one another in love. Let's stop there for a minute because see this is the foundation that we are realizing is how we're going to walk in the gifts of the spirit in the calling. So he's telling us one to walk appropriately and he's telling us what the appropriateness is. And in this case, it's appropriate to be modest, humble. I I don't do this for least of glory. I do it for the king of glory, Jesus. That's my calling. I serve him. Last week when I taught, I talked about who we serve, who we're servants to, whether it is through we're servants to sin or we're servants to righteousness. So here I'm taking my servantthood, my slavehood if you will, to the Jesus Christ and to the gifts that he's called me to walk in. In my case, I'm in intercessory prayer and I do teaching. Whatever your case may be, he's telling us to walk in that humbleness and modesty, which means we're not get we don't do it for the glory. We do it for his glory. So anytime somebody says, "Oh man, that was a really great revelation, Lisa." That was the Holy Spirit because Lisa ain't got anything to be special about except that she's a child of God. You're a child of God. Hallelujah. That's worthy. And see, that's when you take it to the Lord and give him the glory. Amen. So, and meekness, now meekness is gentleness. But I I did a teaching on meekness um uh not too long ago at that Bible study I was talking about earlier. Meekness, it is gentleness, but the way that works is it stops hatred. It stops anger. It stops wrath. That's what meekness does. That's what you're doing when you walk in that calmness. So somebody's raging at you and you just stop and say, "The Lord bless you or Jesus loves you." And you do that in that calming voice, you stop anger. You stop wrath in its tracks and it it cannot go any further. So here to walk in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, you're walking appropriately with modesty, humbleness, that gentleness, longsuffering. Oh, interesting. H where are you, Lord? What are you doing, Lord? You see, you're anticip I I walk in faith like I had hurt my knee several weeks ago and was in a chair in a wheelchair for a couple days there. uh a a chair for two weeks and a wheelchair for a few more days. After that though, I started getting up and I was declaring Jesus as Lord over my knee. Last night, one of the things I dealt with was the pain in my knee. Where are you, Lord? You see, this is when you have to be long-suffering. You You've got to just deal with it. And you say, "You know what, Lord? I'm going to cast this to you. I declared Jesus as Lord over this knee again." But that's how you walk in faith because you're putting God first. And whatever the situation is, this is one of the ways to walk in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. For me to be a teacher and for me to be in here, I have to walk like this. But you know what? It's not just that I have to. It's that I want to because I have a relationship with Jesus. I have a relationship with the Holy Spirit and I hear his voice and boy has he. You asked me 30 years ago. If I would be doing this today, I would have said no way. But yet God. Yeah. This is what he does. And then forbearing putting up with one another in love. Oh my goodness. This is a hard one. You see, we're in a a a time period where we think we have all the answers and so we see somebody who is dealing with the situation and we want to give them the answers. We want to force the answers on them and we want to shake them up and tell them this is how you do it. And then you want to you really get angry and you can get, you know, look at um the videos of people wearing the MAGA hats and those that don't like it. You're wrong. Take that off and see they're trying to force that on you. Well, one, we're not rapist. And yes, I use that word because that means force and forcing something on somebody else. No, we're to put up with love. Look at this. He's telling you, put up with one another in love. How do you do that? One, pray for them. Two, forgive them. Because Jesus is all about forgiveness. And if you're going to walk with Jesus, you need to walk in forgiveness. So that's how we start this foundational approach to walking in the gifts of the spirit. We are walking appropriately. We need to be doing that. And two, humbleness, uh modesty, meekness, longsuffering, forebearing, and uh in love. See, that's another thing is if you really love somebody, yes, you're going to correct them, but you're going to correct them through love. So, you're going to tell them the truth. Yeah. Uh you you can become a believer in Christ. That doesn't mean everything is going to be hunky dory or all roses. No, we're going to be still dealing with pain and suffering and death just like the rest of the world does. The difference is is I give God the glory because he's the creator and he's the one who set everything in order. He's the one who established all of this. You see, my relationship stands towards God. And so, every time I teach, I'm teaching you out of love. One, so that we can come unified in that love to walk in these gifts because they are to edify the church. We're going to get to more scripture on that. That's what all this is about. And look he goes on further to say endeavoring to keep the unity oneness of the spirit in the bond of peace prosperity to keep the unity. So each and every one of us should be teaching or presenting an example of the word of God as a testimony for the unity of the Holy Spirit. And see that's how we start to engage in walking in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. We are to the goal, the unity of the spirit. And which means you can't tell the difference between me and another teacher if we're in unity of the scriptures to the spirit. See, the moment you start listening to divisive teaching, this pastor or this teacher teaches yes, you can lose your salvation, but this pastor, this teacher says no, you can't. or this pastor or this teacher teaches that the rapture will happen after we go through hell on earth whereas another teacher or pastor will teach that no it's before then others teach it's the mid we're not in unity right now but here's the thing and I'm sure others who teach opposite of me are going to feel the same way I feel I'm right but see this is where it comes down to one did you ask God to give you the answer or did you just go and study it and try to interpret it on your own. You see, when I try to read the scripture, I try to read it where I'm looking at it and saying, "Okay, Holy Spirit, you're going to have to show me this one because I don't understand it." And he will do that. So, how do you uh move into that field where, oh, I don't want to trash this pastor or this teacher for what they're teaching. No, instead, what I do is I do two things. I pray. I pray for them. I pray for myself. So I start with prayer and second I go to the word and I ask the Holy Spirit what is it? Am I missing? Is it something wrong with me? You see there comes in the humbleness, the loneliness, the meekness because I'm trying to figure out are they right and am I wrong? And if I see and the Holy Spirit is teaching me to stand strong in what I'm reading and I've got it and he shows me through dreams because I have dreams. I have vivid dreams that tell me things as well. If I see all this coming together, I'm going to tell you right now, I'm believing what I'm teaching. And I believe you can't lose your salvation. Jesus says, and I I did a teaching on this. You can go check out that teaching. And I believe we're going to have a pre uh a rapture that happens before the tribulation. Why? because I've studied the word and I asked the Lord to explain it to me his way and I've taught on that. You can go check out those other teachings. But the point here is that I'm not here to trash anybody and what they believe and what that's what they believe at this time. Now, there's things I taught early on in this ministry that I've changed since because the Holy Spirit has spoken to me. That it means I'm maturing more in the Lord. And maybe that teacher, preacher will eventually get there as well and get more mature. And you'll see there's pastors that make radical changes because the Lord has worked on them. But that's because of prayer and prayer through love because I love them. Now granted, I believe that pastor or teacher who is teaching these things is still saved. They're not going to hell. And if now if they're misleading people and people walk away as a result, that consequence is going to be on you. And this is why I take teaching very seriously. I do not want to mislead anyone. So in all of my teachings, every single one of them, I always point to the scriptures. Always. And then I think it through as logically as I can. and back it up with multiple scriptures. That's what teaching is about. Again, it's not about what I believe or what I consider. I'm I'm trying to teach what the Holy Spirit is teaching me. But I'm trying to do it in love to the edification and the unification of the church under one spirit. That's the whole goal here. And I'm hoping other teachers, pastors, preachers, evangelists will catch on to this. Amen. Uh now in verse four, there's one body and one spirit even as you are called in one hope of your calling. You see, we anticipate the prophecies of the Bible to come true. We anticipate that the Lord is speaking the truth. Now that means there is one spirit. There is one son of God. There is one God and we all work under that one God. Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the father except through me." So we teach when you operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, each of you will be operating under that one spirit. That's it. There is no other way around. There's no Muhammad. There is no um anything else. There's no um Harry Krishna there. There's no other gods. There is only one God. And Jesus is that son. And that son of God, Jesus, is who we work in unity with through his word because he spoke the word. And then he gave us the comforter, the Holy Spirit, who he's the one that convicts us. He's we hear him inside and you know it. You know, and I've taught on that many times as well. Uh verse five, one Lord, one faith, one baptism. Verse six, one God and father of all who is above all and through all and in you all. But every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. This is all a gift by the way. Every salvation is a gift. You can't work for salvation. You cannot earn it. Jesus says I give this to you. And it's interesting because it's how he gives it to you as well. So see going back to the idea of whether one can lose their salvation or not. Think of it like this. When God gives you this gift, and it is so valuable, do you think he's going to let you play with it? You're a toddler to him. You're a newborn is what you are, a newborn baby Christian. And when you're that young, that helmet of salvation is put on your head and it's strapped securely where you can't take it off. No matter how much you want, Jesus will follow you, follow you all the way to even the depths of hell to get you because he's not going to lose one. and sharing a testimony of like my son-in-law. He uh he had it rough, but he he married my daughter. He was in our household and he lived with us and he was living a righteous young man. He's a believer in Christ. He's called on the name of the Lord Jesus. And then he went to the other side to the dark side, if you will, but he he got over there even cursing God. Did he lose his salvation? Right now he's back in the graces of God because he's finally realizing, oh, but people go back and forth all the time. Does that mean that they lost their salvation? Jesus loves you so much. He will not let you fiddle with that salvation helmet is securely on you. He will work on your heart. He's going to try to bring you back because he wants you to be fruitful and multiply. You're not being fruitful and you're not multiplying when you're living in sin. There's a difference there. Let's continue on in verse eight. Wherefore he saith, when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men. So this is all again a gift, a gift of teaching. We're going to get into the different callings here, but these gifts, it's a gift that you desire. I I desire teaching the word. I desire looking up the scripture. I desire finding the knowledge and the revelation. This is my heart's desire, and I love it because I want to do this. And the Lord answers that and allows me to do it. So now he that So verse 9, now that he ascended, he went up, what is it that but that he also descended, he went down first into the lower parts of the earth. And he that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens that he might fill all things. Now it's interesting what he's talking about here is Jesus entered his own creation. So Jesus came from the heavens as a spirit. He was with God in the beginning. John 1:1, in the beginning was the word and the word was God and the word was with God. So Jesus was a spirit at that time. Well, Jesus entered this world, his own creation, and became a man and then was crucified, which then he went down to the depths of paradise to get all those people out of there. And three days later, he rose from the grave, including all these other people. And when he came out, he ascended up. Then he and and he said, "I have to go to my father." So he goes to his father to go do whatever he needs to accomplish. Then he says, "I will send you a power, a comforter, the Holy Spirit." And then he tells us, "You will do things even greater than me." This is Jesus telling us what you're going to do under the gifts of the Holy Spirit. So he gives us these gifts because we are co-join hes with him. He has this calling. He's the son of God. And he says, I want you to when he said to Mary Magdalene on the way up when he was ascending up, he says, I go to my father, your father, my God, your God. Because see, he's now a man in a body who then says God is his God, his father, just like we do. So we become joint hes. So his power and authority we have because he gave it to us as a gift. We have the authority in the name of Jesus and we have the gift of the Holy Spirit who moves when he wants to. But the moment we take our relationship to this level where we're walking in humbleness, loneliness, meekness, and we are submitting ourselves to be in righteousness with God, then the Holy Spirit has opportunities and you will find yourself in a place where you are whether it's evangelizing, teaching, prophesying, and we're going to see those here in just a minute. Whatever it is that you're in, whatever your calling is, whether it's smiling to people, blessing them, laying hands and healing them, whatever it may be, you are, the Holy Spirit is actually saying to the world, look at my servant. Look who this is. She or he is doing what I've asked him to do in this foundation which Paul has established for us. Amen. So here's the callings um that Paul uh lists in verse 11. And he gave some apostles which an apostle is an ambassador and some prophets. The prophet is someone who foretells or is an inspired speaker and some evangelist that's a preacher. That's more like a motivational type of preaching. Evangelism is pretty cool. Sometimes I get very excited and I run off in that direction. Anyways, I try to keep it to teaching while I'm here and I try not to preach. I'm trying to teach because preaching, you saw what preaching is. Um, it's a uh or yeah, it's an evangelist as a preacher. And then some are pastors, which are shepherds. They they shepherd their church. They are going to be there one-on-one with you. They're going to be in that calling. Um, let me go over more of these here in just a minute. And then teachers, which are the instructors. So, there's an apostles. Apostles are ambassadors. They they go around the world representing Christ, maybe even establishing churches. That's what Paul and Peter did. Then you had the prophets. They're the ones there. It's also an inspired speaker, but they're foretelling and they're using the word of God to see future prophecy and the Lord is revealing it to them. Because even if they're given a vision of some sort, it has to line up with the word of God because that's how you have to measure it. Do you know it's from God or is it from some other source? may be someplace biased on the inside. You want to say, "Oh, that's so this all this hell is going to happen to you or you're going to be so prosperous with this." But if you're doing it through the word of God and the word of God is showing you the scripture that goes with what you're feeling or have seen in your mind's eye with the Lord, then that's prophecy. That's what you're doing. Evangelist is the preacher. Uh that's the one that's going around just motivating people. You're you get excited. You take a something out of the Bible and it's a golden nugget and that you you just elaborate on that golden nugget the entire time you are preaching which is sometimes so good and it really encourages people that that's a neat calling to be an evangelist. And then of course talking you know another thing evangelists do is when you're out in the world you just talk to hey do you believe in Jesus? He's the son of God. Don't you know he loves you? And you just blurt it out because you're an evangelist. That's what evangelists do. Then you have the pastors, a shepherd. Again, as I was saying earlier, this is um an individual who can take the whole church. He sits down with his church. He can go to the hospital for those individual. He knows every individual in his church and he is ministering to them at a shepherd's level, keeping them in track as a group. And typically churches should be a little smaller so a pastor can do that. Now, there are these other churches that have built up uh people that can be like assistant pastors and you've got your ministry where at least a a pastor type person with that calling is able to minister to people whether in the hospital, in their home or in the sanctuary and praying over them. That's part of pastoral ship. And then the teacher, which is what I'm called, that's what I do as I'm a teacher. I instruct I'm instructing you how to walk in the gifts of the spirit or laying down a foundation for you. Again, I point to the scripture and I point to you and your relationship with the Holy Spirit. You need to go talk to him and see if this is where you should be and what you're doing. Maybe he wants you to do something a little different. But he he always I think I like this. This is this is what I believe is that the Holy Spirit knows where your heart is. If you want to be in children's ministry because you love children, Holy Spir spirit is going to open the door for you to have that teaching or evangelizing to the children and you're going to do that through joy. See, when you love doing it and that, by the way, the Holy Spirit will transform you to do that because I was not a good speaker and never have been. But the Holy Spirit makes a way so that the desire and the joy of your heart comes out while you're doing whatever your vocation you're calling it. Amen. Now look at what he says though. This is the goal of it. Verse 12. For the perfecting of the saints, complete furnishing of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying or the structure of the body of Christ. This is to build the body of Christ to one unity. This is why we have to be very careful what teachers we're listening to. This is why we need to keep praying for them. This is why we have to watch the preachers that we're listening to because if they're going against the word of God or they're not getting a concept, we need to pray so that the Holy Spirit can work through them. And the more we do that, the more unified we become. But we're definitely not unified yet till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the son of God unto a perfect man unto the measure of the stature or maturity of the fullness of Christ. We're definitely not mature Christians. Now, we will reach perfection the moment we shed this body and we enter into his presence. We will definitely enter into perfection at that time. But we should be trying to achieve that as a body, not just an individual, but as a body. And even if we disagree with something somebody is saying, we need to be praying for them and loving them and hoping and then praying for ourselves because it could be we're misunderstanding something too and they have and and that's another thing uh in a teaching maybe one part is really good, one part is not. You have the right as a listener of that to say, "Oh, I'm going to accept that part and I'm going to reject that part and I'm going to pray for me and I'm going to pray for them." That way there's clarity and the Holy Spirit can work with you. And I'm hoping that these teachers and preachers can also start doing the same thing. That's coming into the unification of the body at that point. that we henceforth be no more children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the slate of men and cunning craftiness whereby they lie and wait to see. See, there are people that are deceiving intently and then accidentally. Part of it is lack of knowledge and God doesn't like the fact that we can be dumb. But at the same time, he gave us the Holy Spirit to teach us how to rise up in that knowledge and to go to the word. You see, here's another thing Paul says is we know in part and we see in part. I know a part and I see a part in the scriptures. Someone else might see another part that just gives us a bigger picture. And if he or she shares their part, I share my part, you have a bigger part because now it becomes your part plus the other two parts and so on and so forth. That's the unifying of the saints and building of the church to this goal. But speaking the truth in love may grow up into him in all things which is the head even Christ. See now you can't do anything without love. 1 Corinthians 13 says it's like a clanging symbol. I I don't want to trash a pastor. I don't want to speak curses against them because, oh, that was horrible. No, I want to pray for them again. Pray for me because maybe I'm miss some missing something. And then I'm just asking the Lord. That's an act of love. That's how you show love because we're not here. We already got the devil. Don't do the devil's job for him. Amen. Amen. from whom the whole body fitly joined together, compacted by that which every joint supply according to the effectual working in the measure of every part maketh increase of the body into the edifying structure of itself in love. Love is the mortar, the foundation that pulls it all together. And right now we know Matthew 24 prophesied that love will grow cold. And we're in that season. So, here is a time where we need to humble ourselves because if you're in with Jesus, you're loving. You're in love. You're acting and walking in love. You see, Jesus loved us so much. He died for us. Now, I can't do that, but he did it already. And so, what I can do is just remember that he loves everybody else the same way he loves me. And that gives me that foundation to lead to walking in the gifts of the spirit in my case teaching. Let's close in a word of prayer and let's uh let the Holy Spirit talk to you about this. I encourage you to go back and read the rest of this chapter and there's many other areas that he talks about the gifts of the spirit. Get into the scripture. Let the Holy Spirit talk to you. Find out your vocation. What is your joy? And let the Holy Spirit transform you. Renew your mind as Romans 12:1 tells us. And remember, there's no more condemnation. Jesus loves you. Show the world around us that love. Amen. Father God, we lift you up and we bless you and we honor you. We thank you for your word and we thank you. We pray and ask for the spirit of love to manifest within us that are believers so that the world will see what love what true love looks like. I pray that we express that true love. I pray that the that your word is going out and that uh we are building the body of Christ into one big structure that operates in love under the anointing of the Holy Spirit and in the power of the gifts that minister to the church so that we are not being de uh deceived or tossed about to and fro from false doctrine. But I pray that your hedge of protection and is is around us and that each teacher, each evangelist, each pastor, each calling, every vocation out there is walking in the anointing of your Holy Spirit with love. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. God bless you. I'll see you in the next teaching. Bye-bye. Home Previous Next

COMPASSION The objective of this message is to teach believers the biblical mandate and spiritual power of compassion. It emphasizes that compassion is more than simply being “nice”—it is an act of obedience to God, rooted in forgiveness, mercy, and love, and modeled by Jesus Christ. The teaching seeks to equip believers to extend compassion not only to those who are easy to love, but also to those who do evil, demonstrating God’s heart and opening doors for salvation and transformation. < Back COMPASSION Minister Lisa Kane February 1, 2024 Objective: The objective of this message is to teach believers the biblical mandate and spiritual power of compassion. Synopsis: In this message, Lisa Kane opens with Zechariah 7:9 to show that compassion is both a command and an actionable response of mercy toward others. She contrasts being “nice” with true compassion, which requires intentional forgiveness and obedience to God’s Word. Drawing from scriptures such as Micah 7:18–20, Psalm 78, and Jude 20–23, she explains how God repeatedly shows compassion despite humanity’s rebellion, and how believers are called to reflect that same mercy in their relationships and prayers. Lisa stresses that compassion is central to intercession, particularly for leaders, nations, and even those engaged in evil, because Jesus loves them just as much as He loves His followers. She provides examples from the life of Jesus (Matthew 9:36, 14:14, 15:32), highlighting how compassion moved Him to heal, provide, and guide. The message also explores the consequences of unforgiveness, the blessings of obedience, and the urgency of praying compassionately for others so they may come to salvation before the end of the Gentile age. Ultimately, this teaching calls believers to embrace compassion as the foundation of forgiveness, to intercede with love for others—including enemies—and to allow the Holy Spirit to cultivate compassion within them. It closes with a prayer for believers to live out compassion through word, deed, and heartfelt intercession, demonstrating Christ’s mercy in a hurting world. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this message on Thursday, February 1st, 20124. Welcome. This message is called Compassion. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your blessings and your favor upon your word. And we pray that we hear your word, apply your word, live by your word. And we pray that your compassions, your mercy, and your love overflows the cup within us, Father God, and that it just pours out on those around us and that we minister to those with love and compassion. In the glorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. And amen. Amen. Let's open uh let's go to our opening scripture here. Compassion is what this message is called. Zechariah 79. Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts saying execute true judgment and show mercy and compassions every man to his brother. Now I do have another message prepared that I was going to do today and the Lord speaking through my father basically. So we need to to talk on this message. One of the things that I've noticed and observe and this is what my father and I were talking about was as Christians get together and we talk about society in general or government or things of this nature. I heard a pastor just say the other day, you know, we need to be nice. Well, being nice is one thing, but being compassionate is another. And this really made an impression on my heart because we should be praying in forgiveness, which is what I've been teaching. You can go look at the empowering prayers. We added 13 new prayers to that prayer list and how you can put your name or put something in there and just pray that prayer and watch the spirit realm uh move on your behalf because you're forgiving and you're letting go. Well, we need to pray and have compassion for those even doing evil. We don't want to have compassion on them, believe you and me. But the key here is that Jesus loves them just as much as he loves me, just as much as he loves you. So, this is why we need to have compassion. So, let's go back to that opening scripture now and take a look at it in depth. Says, "Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts." So, this is from the father. This is the Lord telling us what how to have compassion, execute true judgment or pronounce sentence and then show or to do make mercy or kindness and compassion which is to love, mercy, pity every man to his brother. Now I want you to see that this is an actionable verb for you. says to do or to make mercy and compassions means you have to take the initiative whether you want to or not. It's called obedience and that's what we have to do. That is what the Lord is asking us to do. Now of course he's talking to Israel there but he's talking to everyone and in any time frame and we we live in what's called the fullness of the Gentiles. We are in the grace period and it is the Gentiles that are teaching and preaching uh to the world the redemption of our Lord Jesus that he pardoned everybody's sins and because he has done that we're to share the good news so that everybody knows everyone's sin is forgiven them. This is what's so powerful and if you really want to get technical I taught a couple of messages ago about the Holy Spirit and blaspheming the Holy Spirit. So go back and look at that teaching. I I don't want to drift off in that direction and repeat myself here. I want to show you what it is to have compassion for these that we see doing evil. You know, we're not any better than them. The fact is is that we just humbled ourselves before the Lord and we're just going to the Lord, but we're still in the flesh, but he has forgiven us. And that differentiates us from them and their actions are still sinning. And some people who haven't pressed into the Lord, but have called on the Lord, aren't forgiving and aren't living in forgiveness either. So, you're bringing yourself into curses from God and his heavenly realm simply because you're not choosing to forgive and let go. Well, we need to be doing this and we need to be doing this for the leadership around the world. Nobody's perfect. And even if you were a leader, I'm sure we can find something wrong with you. It's just the reality of it. Go look at the um revelation at chapters 2, three, or three and four anyway, right in that area. And look at the seven letters to the seven churches. Every single one of them except for one. They all say, "I still have something against you." So you did this, this was good, this was good, but I still have this against you. So with that in mind, let that generate the compassion because you should be recognizing that Jesus loves you and he's forgiving you. Okay? If he's going to do that for you, then we need to to do it for others. Otherwise, he's not going to do it for you. And he's clear on scripture with that. Let's go to our next scripture. Micah 7:18-20. Who is a God like unto thee that pardoneeth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retainth not his anger forever, because he delightth in mercy. He will turn again. He will have compassion upon us. He will subdue our iniquities, and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Now obviously this is talking about Jesus prophesied by the prophet Micah but show look at what he shows us. This is this is powerful. He is saying pardon it. He lifts us. He bears our iniquity. He took it on the cross. He was a man who knew no sin who took sin on the cross and God turned his face against him. I you know we don't understand and we can't comprehend what that moment must have felt like. But one thing we know for certain is that Jesus did it because he loved us. And that is something we have to keep forefront in our mind. And he passes. Look at this. It's a crossover, the transgression. So here here's another I just finished teaching on another Passover shown uh for the end times in the wedding part two. Now watch this. When you are saved, the blood of Jesus covers you. It it covers the lentil and the doorpost of you. So all the spirit of destruction, this the curses that come against a non-believer, they are crossed over, passed over us. They cannot affect us. They cannot get to us. Isn't that incredible? And he's showing it here in Micah. He says, "Who is this God?" And he passes over the transgression. And look at that transgression. Revolt, rebellion. Oh man, if you're not forgiving, let's say Biden or Trump, whichever side you're on. If you're not forgiving them, you're in rebellion because God told us to forgive them. He forgave you. You need to forgive them. And this is where the compassion comes upon. I'm going to show you what Jesus did with compassion in a little bit, but I want to show you. I want to go into the rest of this. So of the remnant uh which is the remainder residual portion of his heritage, he retainth not his anger forever because he delightth in mercy. He wants to give you mercy. He wants that for you and he wants you to accept it. It's up to you whether you want to accept it or not. And I'm praying that you do because we need to have compassion for those around us because if he loved us, he loves them just as much as he loves us. Hallelujah. And look at that second verse. He will turn again. This is God turning back, retreating from the destruction. He's going to have compassion, which is that love, mercy, pity upon us. Look at this. He's going to trod down and disregard our iniquities. And then he's going to cast them out and the sins, the offenses into the depths of the sea. Boop. He just throws it all out. That's incredible. That is absolutely so powerful. It's incredible. But look at verse 20. Thou wil perform the truth to Jacob and the mercy to Abraham which thou has sworn unto our fathers from the days of old. God keeps his promises and he promised Abraham that he would do this. So he's saying, I'm going to give you truth which is stability and certainty with kindness and favor because he promised it. That is for us. That is the compassion that he's showing us. Now, can you be like Jesus? Can you be like God? Let's look in Psalm 78. The wrath or the anger or the rapid breathing of God came upon them and slew. He smite with him dead. He smite them with deadly intent. That's what that word slew means. And the fattest of them and smokeote down he bent them at the knee the chosen men of Israel. Go look at Israel's history through the Bible and you will find the leadership that was evil and they were dispersed, broken apart. God slew, smite many of them and then kept a remnant because he was trying to show them this is what happens when you do evil. This is what happens when you do good. and he was showing. So it kept going back and forth until finally he dispersed Israel throughout the entire world. Continuing on verse 32, for all this they sinned. They missed the and they still continue to miss and believed not which that believe there means to build up support. They didn't believe in their support for his wondrous works which that separated and distinguished them. I mean he made a very clear distinguished type of lifestyle from generation to generation based on good kings and evil kings. He showed the history. He showed the consequences. It's all there. Do you want to go and look at it and find out what the truth is? Do you want to continue to accept evil? Do you want to be deceived? I bet you if there was a remnant of prophets uh bes or besides the prophets of the priest and just even ordinary people that were going to God praying for their leader. There might have been a different outcome for each one. And you can take a look at individuals. Look at Nehemiah. Look at Ezra. These are men of God, prophets that went before the Lord and humbled themselves before the Lord and asked for forgiveness. And Jesus hadn't even showed up yet. Yet God forgave them and gave them Jerusalem back. They rebuilt the city, the temple the second time. And as it rebuilt the second time, it was sadness for those that had seen the first temple, but praise and glory for those that didn't see the first temple, but that God was there to redeem them. And they knew. And this it was all there. It was all there. And yet they still went scattered abroad. Verse 33. Therefore their days which is the hot warm hours sunrise to sunset did he consume or to end to finish in emptiness vanity and their years revolution in time in trouble pan and basically they're saying you know what here you've been going day by day by day by day doing the same thing over and over again which is emptiness is vanity you keep doing it you're consuming yourself with that when if you just humbled yourself before the Lord had a little compassion showed compassion to others because Jesus showed compassion to you. Your life would be different. Now the question I have for you is do you want your life different or are you content with your life? Are you afraid that ch that God is going to change your life into something that's misery? I promise you it is not misery. Let's continue on in Psalm 7 78. We're in verse 34. When he slew them with deadly intent, then they sought to follow him and they returned and inquired early after God. Now, here's what happened. He killed off some of them. And then all of a sudden, everyone realized this is Israel. There is a God. I'm sorry, Lord. And they they came back to God and called on God. But when they had good times, they didn't even think of God at all. But they inquired of God every time they had a a panic, destructive issue they were facing. But God, that's how that's how he got his his attention. Are you facing panic, destructive forces at you every day? Uh life is hell on earth. You are going through torment. Well, guess what? You are free if you humble yourself before the Lord. Amen. Amen. Let's continue on. Because see, they inquired early after God. Verse 35. And they remembered or Mark made mark and mentioned that God was their rock, a cliff, and the high. He was elevated God. their redeemer, which by the way, that word redeemer means next to kim buy back a relative's property. The the Jubilee is an example of this, and they had given it up. But every 50 years, if during that 50 years, someone who had their land had to sell it because they had to live. Well, at the end of 50 years, the person they sold it to was supposed to give it back to them. Everything was supposed to restart. It's not a concept that we today are familiar with, but that was what God was teaching the Israelites to do. And by the way, they failed at that. And they didn't like it because, well, they didn't want to give it back. But God is saying, have compassion. Do what you're supposed to do. Be obedient. And then watch God move in your life. And he's going to bless you and bless you richly and abundantly. Not just financially, but man. Amen. You can have no money but have still joy in your heart. Be at peace and comfort in your days because you are with God. That is for you if you choose to want it. By the way, that also includes financial blessings too. God will never let his anointed, his beloved, anyone who is serving him, that remnant, he will never let you in uh in anywhere of a financial destitute situation. He will never he will never let you get into that situation. Amen. Let's continue on here. Verse 36. Nevertheless, they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues. They weren't serious. They remembered him. They marked him. They went to him. But their heart was not filled with compassion. Verse 37, for their heart, their feelings, their intellect was not right, wasn't erect. It didn't stand with him. Neither were they steadfast. They didn't build up or support in his covenant. That covenant, by the way, means cutting, passing between two pieces of flesh. Remember when God put Abraham into a deep sleep, Abraham had cut up two pieces of flesh, plus the birds and whatever he had around there and a smoke stack, God walked through him. That's how you did a covenant. But he put Abraham to sleep. He says, "Nothing you need to do, Abraham. Nothing you need to do. I'm going to make a co covenant with you. Now, if you want, I want you to come serve me. I want you to believe in me. I want you to have compassion like me. but I will save you if I have to go to hell myself to get you. And that's exactly the promise that God has for us. And by the way, he does do that. There are many people who testify that they had died, went to hell, and then God got him out of hell. You see, and then brought him back to life because God is talking to them. The Holy Spirit is trying to get their attention. And sometimes you have to do that with the fear of the Lord. Jude's going to show that us to us here in a few minutes. But look at verse 38. But he being full of compassion. This is God full of compassion. He's merciful for gay. Look at that. He put his covering over the iniquity, our perversity, our faults and are d and destroy, decay, ruin, cast off them not. He didn't destroy them. Yeah. Many a time turned his anger away. And he did not stir up or wake his wrath or all of his wrath, his feet or anger. He chose to have self-control filled with compassion. Now imagine if you did that. Imagine if I did that. Imagine what the world would be like if there's a hundred of us doing that. A thousand of us. A million of us. Imagine what the world would be like. And yet we still feed on milk instead of the meat of the word as Paul says because we do not submit and put that wrath, put that anger down and humble ourselves and have compassion and forgive. Oh ho ho, this is awesome. Verse 39, for he remembered. You see God marked and mentioned that they were but flesh. He remembered there a wind a breath that passeth away that walks and departs and cometh not again. He remembered what condition we're in. We're in the flesh. He remembered it. And out of that, he said, "I'm going to have compassion on that." This is why he sent his only begotten son, Jesus. Because he loves us so much. And he's asking us to have that compassion. So, if you're a teacher or a preacher, you're up on a stage and you've got a following or you're on the internet, you have a following, you need to be teaching compassion and forgiveness over those are enemies, over terrorism, over Hamas, Hezbollah, any anti-semitic person. You need to be showing mercy and compassion for them because what if you forgave them and Jesus forgives them and then the Holy Spirit comes in and works in their heart softening it and they repent. There was that testimony of over 200 men who had a dream, 200 Hamas men who had a dream of the same man. And they went to the missionaries next door and asked, "Who is this man?" And they said, "Well, that's Jesus." And they said, "Tell us more." And they believed. They repented. Now, imagine if our government leadership would repent. Now, if they don't, what if we're praying over the upcoming elections and we're asking because we're humbling ourselves before the Lord and the Lord gives us anything we ask for. What if we ask for a godly, righteous person to replace that person? What then would our government be like? Listen, I know that God's end is coming and I know that he is doing the things that he's doing, but that doesn't stop me from being obedient and praying for change, a better government, a a government that serves us as if they serve the Lord. Amen. We can do that. And that is what our calling is. God's going to do his thing no matter what. Okay? But I promise you, if you're obedient and doing your part, it's working right. And we can see a lot more people saved, which is the the goal of the time we're in. As I said earlier, the fullness of the Gentiles, that's coming to an end. That completes when that complete. We need to get as many saved, as many into the bridal party, as many into the supper feast with the Lord. We need to into the wedding party, into the wedding feast. Get as many as we can. That means we have to pray hard and fast hard for those that are stubborn. They're stiff necked. But if we're praying, we pray and ask the Holy Spirit and the strong angels to go and soften their hearts. He reaches them at the level that they're at because it's not by might nor by power, but by his spirit, says the Lord. Amen. Look at how Jude says this. This is very powerful. This is the the message of the gospel here that I'm showing you. And this is what we're to do. Now look at Jude. Uh there's only one chapter verses 20- 23. But ye beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, your persuasion credence, praying in the Holy Ghost. You see, we're to pray in the spirit. And notice what we're praying in faith. What is that persuading credence? You know what? I pray for people that are blaspheming the Holy Spirit. And I know that the Lord said he's not going to forgive. And I said, 'Lord, and I'm being kind of like Moses. Wait, Lord, forgive him one more time. Let's hope that they can be saved. That's what I'm doing. One more time, Lord. And I do it every day. One more time, Lord. Please, let's let's try to get them. Holy Spirit going. Don't give up on them. That's the compassion that the Lord has placed in my heart for those people. And that's what I've been called to pray for. One of the things I pray for. Are you praying for these people? Just maybe your brother-in-law, sister-in-law, your daughter-in-law, your daughter, your children, your your spouse. Maybe, just maybe, God will change them if you just simply say, "Lord, forgive me and I forgive them and I ask you to forgive them." And boy, the spirit of God will break through. That is a promise. And he's telling us here, Judah is saying, you're building yourselves up on that faith. You're persuading. You see, you're persuading him in your prayers. What? That we need to save them, Lord. That's your goal. I'm here to pray with you. I'm joining with you. You're persuading him. Amen. Verse 21. Keep. You got to watch. You got to guard yourself in the love, which is the affection and the benevolence of God, looking for the mercy, compassion of our Lord Jesus unto eternal or perpetual life. This is what we need to be walking in. that compassion from God. He's telling us straight up keep watch guard over yourself. Let yourself have that compassion because that is what God is calling us to be. And it's a strong fight because there is prophecy by Jesus that says love will grow cold. So we are self-driven in this time and age that we're in. But God, you see, if you're humbling yourself, the spirit of God is going to move. And if we had a day of Pentecost back then, we can have another day of Pentecost now. Amen. Amen. Verse 22. And some have compassion, mercy by word or deed, making a difference, separate thoroughly, and others save, deliver, or protect with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted for the flesh. Now you see, he's showing a distinguish between the two. You're going to save some with your actions. Taking advantage of forgiving, saying, "I forgive you. Don't worry about it. You're you're good. You're okay. And that way you bring peace and comfort to them. But then there are others. You got to save with fire. And Judah's telling us this. You've got to kind of frighten them and the Holy Spirit does that. I know a person who came to me one time years ago who said he had a dream the devil was chasing him. And I said, "Well, then God has your back and let's pray that you're walking in salvation and mercy." But that Holy Spirit had to get him from that kind of a dream. There's a distinct difference. And see, this is you walking in the spirit of discernment. This is you walking now with the right words of mercy and forgiveness for the Lord. Amen. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. This is you praying and you can have the victory of your loved ones. I know you have loved ones that you struggle with. Every one of us have loved ones like that. Every one of us have friends like that. Sometimes we fall apart, drift apart. But God and prayer, are you praying? Are you praying? It's time to take the time to pray and to distinguish the difference and to watch the Holy Spirit move in their lives. And you will see it cuz they're going to come to you out of the blue. They come to you. And I've seen it just from personal experience. Amen. Let's go look at 1 Corinthians chapter 3. We're going to read verses 11 through 15. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid which is Jesus Christ. You see all of this is based on Jesus. Jesus says I'm the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the father except through me. And Jesus says that everything he did he did because he saw his father do it. So he does what his father does. Now if I do everything that Jesus did, I'm doing everything the father did. And I'm walking in alignment under the three and with the Holy Spirit, the four of us. And we're moving through the spirit by praying. And the Holy Spirit is going to tell me what to pray for. And he's going to show me. And as I pray and I take it and I proved to God in faith, listen Lord, I fasted for this person. I atone for them. And I forgave them. And I know you have forgiven them. So Lord, I'm expecting victory. I'm expecting a breakthrough. And I'm telling you, Lord, that accuser, he lied and he has no forgiveness. And you see, this is what you do when you go to the courtroom of God. This is my next teaching I'm going to have here, hopefully that I get to get out. But you get to go back up to God and say, "He lied. I'm taking back my loved ones that he lied to, deceived, and stole from the kingdom of God." Well, I'm in the kingdom of God, and I'm marching out. I'm taking them back because he belongs to the Lord. Do you love your loved ones and have that much compassion to go fight for them? Oh, now that's a serious question. Let's continue on. Now, if any man build upon this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble, and every man's work, his toil as effort, shall be made manifest. For the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed, or to take the cover off by fire, and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide, it stays. it it dwells there which he hath built upon it survived the fire in other words which he hath built thereupon he shall receive or take his reward if any man's work shall be burned consumed holy he shall suffer loss to injure experience detriment but he himself shall be saved delivered protected healed preserved yet so as by fire you see our goal here as believers in Christ is to get as many people saved as possible have them confess the name of Jesus. Romans 10:9 says that if you confess Jesus with your mouth that he is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We need to get as many doing that. Now, some are going to walk away. They're going to choose to go live their own life. They're going to build their kingdom up with hay and stubble and wood. But when the fire comes to them, they enter into judgment before the Lord. All that's going to burn away and it's going to mean nothing. But did you see what Paul says here, but he himself shall be saved. Yes. So by his fire. And then there are others like me. I hope that spending time with the Lord and taking the initiative to go and pray for these people and let the spirit of God move. Well then whatever gold and silver I put there, it will handle it. It'll handle the fire. And I when that judgment goes through, those things will be sitting there around me. And I thank God for that. But the most important thing I thank God for is his compassion on me and for what he has done for me and what he can do for you. Because this is the compassion that we need to have for our loved ones to show them that God is real and that he saves. I want to show you uh three different scriptures, many many more of Jesus having compassion in that moment. Look at this. Look at his example. Matthew 9:36. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion, which means to have the bowels yearn on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd. Here's one example. Look at this example. Matthew 14:14. And Jesus went forth and saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion toward them and he healed their sick. This is a different event in history here. He had compassion. Here's a third one. Then Jesus called his disciples. This is Matthew 15:32. Then Jesus called his disciples unto him and said, "I have compassion on the multitude because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. And I will not send them away fasting unless they faint in the way." He, this is when he went and broke bread and the fish and fed the 5,000 and the 7,000. You can see these are different. He had compassion on the people. He has compassion on each and every one of us. The question is, do you have compassion? Do you really want your loved ones saved? You might hate them right now and it's simply because you hate them because of the circumstance and the situation whatever you find is there but because of the compassion that you should have because the Lord has given it to you that is what should go forth for you from you forgiving because you have the compassion on them. We need to have compassion on the leadership around the world. We need to have our compassion on pastors who mess up. We need to have compassion on our neighbors who mess up. We need to have compassion on ourselves because we mess up. So compassion is the driving force toward that forgiveness. It's a yearning within our soul that we need to release. And if you can't have that, all you have to do is say, "Lord, help me have compassion because I want to forgive. I want to let go." And you know what? It gets easier and easier with time. And the Holy Spirit will manifest compassion within your heart and your soul. If you truly want to pursue that, he will do it. And I pray that you do. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your blessings upon this word. And Father God, we thank you for your anointing, your gloriousness, your faithfulness. And Lord, we pray and ask for the spirit of compassion to be within our souls and that we speak compassion. we show compassion and that we do it with our acts, with our deeds, and we do it with our heart and we do it with prayer and we do it with love, Father God. And that the mercy that you have goes forth trailing that compassion through the Holy Spirit and through the strong angels breaking forces down, breaking walls down, breaking hatred down, breaking anger, bitterness, and breaking unforgiveness. Father God, thank you Lord for the victories that we're going to have here in our loved ones. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. God bless you. I will see you in the next message. Bye-bye. Previous Next Home

By choosing to trust God instead of striving in unbelief or frustration, Christians can experience peace, healing, stability, and victory in their daily lives. < Back ENTER HIS REST Minister Lisa Kane January 6, 2024 Objective: The purpose of this teaching is to help believers understand the biblical meaning of entering God’s rest, as taught in Hebrews 3–4 and supported by the Psalms. The message aims to show that rest is not merely physical relaxation but a spiritual act of faith and obedience. By choosing to trust God instead of striving in unbelief or frustration, Christians can experience peace, healing, stability, and victory in their daily lives. Synopsis: In Enter His Rest, Lisa Kane explores the scriptural call for God’s people to enter into His promised rest. Drawing from Hebrews 3 and 4, she highlights the example of Israel’s disobedience in the wilderness, showing how unbelief kept them from receiving the rest God intended. In contrast, true faith and obedience open the door to peace, stability, and blessing. The message also weaves in insights from Psalms 37, 38, and 116, which connect rest with patience, forgiveness, and the quieting of the soul in God’s presence. Rest is shown to be both a command and a gift—an intentional act of ceasing from striving, trusting God’s provision, and allowing Him to heal both body and spirit. Lisa emphasizes that entering God’s rest equips believers to resist anger, frustration, and fear, while cultivating boldness, faith, and testimony before others. Just as God rested on the seventh day, Christians are called to follow His example by stepping back from self-effort and allowing His Word and Spirit to work within them. Ultimately, rest becomes a weapon of victory, crushing the enemy underfoot, and a testimony of faith that demonstrates God’s peace and power in the midst of life’s challenges. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and I'm recording this message on Saturday, January 6, 2023. This message is called Enter His Rest. Amen. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your presence and we thank you for your anointing and we thank you for the power of your word, the living word of God. And we thank you that it moves forward. That it strikes and divides and meets the needs of every person deep within their bones. Father God, I thank you. I thank you. And I thank you because you are all powerful. You are glorious. You are the creator. You are the healer. You are the provider. Thank you in the name of Jesus. Amen. And amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture here in Hebrews. Hebrews 3:19. And so we see that they cannot enter in because of unbelief or that word unbelief means faithlessness or another word for it is faithlessness. Well, you know I am teaching a different kind of message. So this is called enter his rest. My pastor taught on Sunday uh a message on rest and the Sabbath and I you know resonated with me. Normally I don't teach on something that another pastor's taught on but then I heard three other messages. So, I got a total of four messages this week on the topic of rest in the Sabbath. And I thought, wow, Lord, you're talking to me. So, this message is really more for me, but I'm going to share it with you while I teach myself. Amen. So, I've done some research here. We are going to be focusing in Hebrews, and we're going to be focusing on uh Hebrews 3 and 4. So, if you want, get your Bibles ready because we're going to be reading some good chunks of scripture through there. In the meantime, there are three scriptures in Psalms that I want to show you that apply to rest. And it kind of really uh brings to heart the difference between living in sin, living with Christ, because you got to know the difference between the two. I taught on this last week, what the difference between salvation and living for Christ is. So there is something visible that we can see and actually entering or not entering into that rest gives us a clue as to who you are and what kind of life you're living. Amen. So Psalm 37:7, rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him. Fret not thyself because of him who prosperth in his way because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. All of us look out at other people and we all see those that are doing so good, so prosperous, have all the money. I mean, look at our current leadership in the government of the United States of America and how prosperous they are. It's frustrating. But God is saying, look at this or this the author of Psalm here is saying rest. Look at the word rest. To be dumb, see, stop in the Lord. Okay, let's explain because it takes a moment to think this through and understand it. So to be dumb. Okay, so in other words, what you're doing is because you're so frustrated, you get mad and you see these situations. So what that word rest is telling you to do, just stop, pretend that's not going on, be dumb about it, and go to the Lord. Wait a second. How do I do that? Because now the emotions are flying. Look at what kind of emotions he's talking about in the Psalms. He says, "Fret not thyself." And what does that mean? Glow or grow warm. The blood pressure, you're you're getting heated. Your your face turns color when you get angry. It turns red. It just that's the way it happens. Darkens and reds and bulges. Well, he's saying, "Don't let that get to you. Rest in the Lord." What does he say? rest, which means to be dumb. Cease. Stop. Stop yourself. Oh, okay. I gotta stop myself. How do I do that? So, we're gonna be looking into that. Um, now let's look at another verse in Psalm. Psalm 38:3. There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger, neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. Here we are again about anger. If you're angry at something or someone, look at this. I have no rest. There's no soundness, no wholesome, no I'm not complete in my flesh. My my my bones are not at safe. They they're not healthy. They're not prosperous because I'm in sin and I haven't been forgiven of my sin. So taking rest is an act of obedience or if you don't do it, you're in sin. [Music] which we all know that Jesus, he's the the Messiah. He came to redeem us and pardon us. And because he did that, we get to stop and say, "Lord, forgive us." So, he's showing us, these scriptures are showing us a little bit of self-control here. We have to take heed, make sure we don't let this get out of hand. Let's look at a third verse in Psalm. Psalm 116:7. Return unto thy rest, oh my soul, for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. Look at this. Return back. You got to get your life back with God in the secret place with the Lord. You have to find that rest, quiet, settled spot home for your soul. Your soul needs to have that quiet moment. And look at because the Lord is treated bountifully with you. You are God will treat you bountifully. This is an act of obedience. He's going to do that. So, let's go to Hebrews. We're going to look at start at three. We're going to go in start at chapter 3. We're going to go into chapter 4, but let's start at verse 11. And this is the chunk of scripture we're looking at is the author is trying to tell us, okay, we're going to look at the Israelites who wandered the wilderness for 40 years and what they did. And look at what God did here. So now God, he swore an oath in his wrath. Okay? Because it's talking about God. So I swear in my wrath, and it was a justifiable, violent, passionate wrath that he's talking about that this is God talking. They shall not enter my rest. Because see, God said to the Israelite, he was so vexed and frustrated with him that he's like, I'm not going to let you enter my rest. I mean, he just got mad. And this is where he's saying, "They shall not enter my rest." Look at the word rest there. It means reposing down or dormant sleep, abode, which is like a home. And uh as you can see what I'm teaching here is the bold words are in the King James version. The words in parentheses are additional meanings of that word in bold. Okay. So as you can see here he swore in his wrath and he's a they're not going to get into a reposing down dormant sleep or abode. Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil which is a hurtful influence heart or thoughts or feelings of unbelief which is faithless faithlessness in departing from the living God. You see, when you're in hardness of heart, which is what these people in the wilderness were, you are in evil. You're you have a hurtful influence on the thoughts and the feelings of those around you because you don't have faith. you're not following the living word of God. You're not living in the living word of God. And these people were doing that. So this writer, the author of Hebrews is telling us, get a hold of yourself. Now let's continue on. 13 But exhort one another daily while it is called today, lest any of you follow the same pattern, be hardened through the deceitfulness, delusion of sin. You see, when the Israelites had wandered around and they were eating heaven, bread from heaven, mana, they got bored with it and they wanted their onions back from when they were in slavery with the Egyptians. Oh, those onions. Oh, I miss those. Oh, if I could only have another, you know, had they had just humbled themselves and took hold of themselves and say, you know, Lord, went to Moses and said, "Hey, Moses, can you go talk to God? I'm thankful we have the mana. I'm grateful for it. Can he add some flavor to it or give us a a difference? Because see, we're in the flesh. We want something different all the time. And God knows that and he will work with you. This is why he said, "Enter your rest." Because you got to deal with your flesh. Which is what Psalms was trying to tell us about our bones not being in good, safe, healthy, prosperity areas because we're not entering into that rest. This is where people get cancer and things of that nature. This is why you'll see a lot of medical offices and systems try to provide a tw tranquil atmosphere for their patients because they're trying to calm them because if they can calm down a bit, it brings the blood pressure down. Right? Verse 14. For we are made partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end. Basically saying we're participants of of Christ and what he did. We need to stay confident in and we have to set ourselves under his support and be stable unto the end. You see that's what entering rest is all about. Stability. How many times you do good, you do good, you do good, you do it for several months in a row and all of a sudden you crash and burn because you got to enter your rest to keep it going to the end. While it is said today, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts as in the provocation or the irritation of the Israelites to God back in the wilderness. And he's saying today, now today meant, let's say we were here yesterday. Yesterday was today. Tomorrow will be today. So he's saying now, this is the now you have to get a hold of yourself, take heed of yourself and watch out for hardening your heart. And then he says, "For someone they had heard did provoke or exasperate. How be it not all that came out of Egypt by Moses." See, some did. And what's happened is when you get a bad apple, it kind of affects all the other apples in the basket. Well, you had these moaner and groaner and complainers. And then these people who weren't moaning and complaining heard that and oh yeah, okay. and they agree and it becomes fruitful. It multiplies. Well, we have to stop that. We have to take heed of ourselves. If you hear someone complaining, you should be entering the Lord because that's where your rest is. Let's continue on because the author is going to get to that. Says verse 17, "But with whom was he grieved or vexed?" 40 years God whom was he grieved and vexed with? Was it not with him that had sinned or missed the mark? whose carcasses the limb of the body fell in the wilderness. You see, there's a consequence to not entering in his rest, to not following the obedience of God's call. The people of the Israelites in the wilderness did not make it into his rest because God swore they will not enter his rest because they were provoking him to anger. They weren't taking heat of themselves and getting some self-control to say, "Hey, so this is what he's saying." So those people, they died in the wilderness. This is why your bones get sick. This is why you get sick because you didn't take the rest that your body requires. And God used that to just basically tell them, "You're not entering my rest." And he killed them all off. I think it was 21 years and younger entered into the promised land. the rest didn't because of their act of disobedience. Verse 18, and to whom swear or an oath he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believe not. So what he's saying is they there's a promise here. And this is what the author is trying to point out. He's telling them they're the ones that were acting in disobedience and I swore that they cannot have rest. Which means there's a rest for those of us who do obey. Let's look at that. Let's look at that. This is awesome. So, we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. We know that they lacked faith. You know, they you know, it was different because Moses would go speak to them face to face and he they got scared of them. Yes. But then they went and built a golden calf and they went and did this and they went and did that. Wandering for 40 years, moaned and complained and groaned and and vexed the Lord. So now look at what he says about this. We're now in chapter 4 verse one. Let us therefore fear lest a promise being left of us enter into his rest. Any of you should seem to come short, deficient in fear of it. You see, he's saying if you're going to believe you, if you're not going to believe me, you're going to act in disobedience. This is what's going to happen to you. But if you choose to believe, this is a promise for you to enter into his rest today, not tomorrow. But tomorrow will be today, and you will be in that rest if you choose to have faith and believe. How do you have faith when faith is you? A lot of us don't have faith that even measures up to the size of a mustard seed as Jesus pointed out. And these people in the wilderness did not have any faith. They wanted to go back to what they knew. They couldn't see the future that God had for them. And remember, even when Joshua entered into the promised land, they had to go to war and fight the um other cultures that were around and all the other kingdoms that were there. They had to fight them. But God was with Joshua and he used different tactics to beat them all and God showed himself more and more because they had faith. This group of people believed. So the question is, are you going to be the one who's going to die out in the wilderness where your carcass dies, your bones become sin, uh corrupt, full of sin and disease, or are you going to have the belief and the faith that Jesus is the son of God and that you can enter his rest? I mean, I don't know if you're struggling with sleep right now or if you're struggling in your mind where you need to have a peace. I'm going to tell you right now, all of this action of being obedient, entering into his rest gives us the victory for the situations and the circumstances we've been dealing with and praying for and whatever we're facing. Let's go on. Let's go on. I want you to see this. Verse two. For unto us was the gospel preached as well as unto them. But the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. You see, now you're looking at two groups of people, which is what I've been talking about. Ones that don't have faith, they lack belief. They're not believing. And then you have a group that is believing. And all it takes is the moment you choose to be obedient. Okay, God, I don't understand why you're telling me to sit down or why I have to come to you and I can't deal with this situation myself. I can't go deal with our current government and current powers. I can't go deal with that myself. Okay, I'm going to put myself in this situation and I'm going to wait on you in obedience even though I don't want to. God respects that. He does. He wants you to act in that obedience because that act is your act of faith which activates God and he moves on your behalf. Now your bones are safe. You're in good health because those that try to attack, let's say a prominent position that's being ran by evil right now and you try to go take it out, what happens? You end up dying most of the time or they arrest you and you go into jail and you never come out again. That's just how that works. So, this is where now we have to take heed, self-control, and come into believe. And whether you believe or not, you say, "Okay, Lord, I'm going to have to trust you. I don't understand what's going on. I don't know why evil is so prominent right now. I don't know why these these things are taking place for I know that the the gates of hell will not prevail. So, I'm just going to take a step of faith and I'm going to enter your rest and I'm going to pray about it. Or you've got managers at work that are just picking on picking on you. You've got situations in your home where people are aggravating you and and I'm going to go enter my rest with the Lord because I need it. Lord, I come to you. I give this to you. I'm going to sit here. I'm going to put some praise worship music on. I give it to you. It's done. I'm going to leave it alone and I'm going to do something different. I'm going to read scripture. I'm going to do some crochet. I'm going to do knitting. I'm going to bake some bread. I'm going to go work on an engine in a car. But I'm giving it to the Lord first. You see how powerful the presence of rest does for us? For us, for me, the me. This is so important. Oh, and that that takes that's taking faith and belief and mingling the two together. That is our responsibility that we need to do. Now, verse three, for we which have believed do enter into his into rest, as he said, as I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest, although the works toil, acts were finished from the foundation of the world. You see, God entered his rest after he did his works and all the works were done at the end of the sixth day. So if all the works were done, all the evil was already taking place and we know the victory and the outcome of the war, then this is where now we can win the battle because we choose to come into the rest knowing faith, knowing belief we got the victory. Oh hallelujah. Look at Jesus. Look at what God did on the seventh day. This is the author still Hebrews. He's still talking about God on the seventh day. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise and God did rest that seventh day from all his works. Now that word wise there means it's referring to a precedent. Uh it's going to go be it's going to become the rule to follow. So God rested on the seventh day. This is why we have what's called the Sabbath. This is one act of obedience that we can take upon ourselves and have that um that satism that that peace at rest. Now it doesn't mean no work or it doesn't mean sleep or don't walk to your neighbors or things like that. Now I know the Israelites followed it that way but as a believer in Christ a little different for us. It is the act of obedience to say I'm going to settle down. I'm going to calm my soul. you know, because I've been praying in the spirit now um for the prayers I posted up on our website recently and I've been doing it for several weeks in a row and I was kind of getting burned out of it and I was like, Lord, I can't keep doing this. I'm going to treat it kind of like a job and take my weekend off and do it during the week. And then all of a sudden, here comes this message teaching me how about rest. Now you see why I want to teach this to you. Because now I'm finally beginning to understand what it is that God did when he rested on the seventh day. So now I've done my prayers. I did my obedience. And now Lord, I enter your rest. I'm going to sit down. I'm put some praise and worship music on. I'm going to knit. I'm going to crochet. Whatever I'm going to do for that that settles me, that keeps me calm and the things that I like to do. But I'm sitting there and all I'm doing is just I'm not having to do anything I don't want to do. That's the rest our bodies needs. And you know, it's a mind and body thing that your your bones are going to appreciate because you need to heal. They need to heal. This is what I I've been aching and hurting because we've been moving all this kind of stuff and getting settled. And the other day I sat down and I was I was crossstitching and and a couple hours later, you know, as I got up, walked around, I was like, even the next morning I got up and I go, man, I feel a whole lot better. I'm telling you guys, this is very powerful. Very, very powerful. Um, and and so here God rested on the seventh day. Verse five. And in this place again, if they shall enter into my rest, seeing therefore it remainth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached, entered not in because of unbelief. It was first preached to the Israelites, and they didn't enter. They rejected Jesus as the son of God. And as a result, and well, they rejected God and his provision out in the wilderness. What he was trying to do is work on their heart so that he can get them humbled so he can bring them into the promised land. this group of people were so stubborn and hard and necked hardhearted that he couldn't get them out of it. So he says, "Never mind. You're not going to enter the rest I have for you." But he's telling the rest of us who look at that as an example to say, "I do have a rest for you." It's a promise. I love it. I love it. Let's continue on. Verse 9. There remainth therefore a rest. And look at what that word rest means. Type of heaven, sabbaticism. It's a repose, which means a sleep, peace, tranquility, calm of Christianity to the people of God. Meaning, all hell can be breaking loose. And you've entered into God's rest. And you say, "You know what? I've already given it to the Lord. He's taken care of this. I don't have to worry about it." And you have victory just from that alone. That act, that statement, because you are now stating as a fact, which is an act of faith of belief that God already took care of it. I don't have to worry about it. A that's awesome. I hope you guys are grasping this. Verse 10. For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest lest any man fall under the same example of unbelief. We got to take heed, have some self-control, put ourselves in that rest. It's something we have to do. God is expecting us to do it because now it becomes an act of obedience. And did you see that he says settle down cease for he that entered into his settle down cease moment we ceased from our works. You know, all these prayers that I've been praying, actually, the moment I enter my rest, it's like the amen and the amen. Let it be done. Okay, Lord, I'm going to enter my rest. I've done my part. It's up to you to do your part. This is now to show you what I'm talking about in that because I want you to see this. Those scriptures preede this. This is now Hebrews 4. We're still in Hebrews 4. We just finished verse 11. Look at what verse 12 is. For the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of sunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the hearts. You see, you're now in a situation. And I'm going to pause. I'm gonna let God handle this because he's going to take care of it better than I would anyways. So every time you're praying and you're giving God the glory, and then you enter into that moment of confidence, boldness, rest, I feel good. God's got it. God's got it. And every time that all hell breaks loose and it's all, you make a better decision when you're in your rest. You know how to decide where to go, what to say, what to do. you are prepped and ready as a believer in Christ. And then what does that do? That establishes your testimony to those running because they're looking at you like, why aren't you all in all up in arms about this management change or this this kind of issue or situation? Or why aren't you more concerned about our loved ones and da da da why aren't you concerned that he's not getting well? And what you're doing is you're saying, "I'm in faith by obeying God because I gave it to him and I'm not going to let it worry me." [Music] That's what this scripture means by the dividing of the soul and the spirit. You know, like I said earlier, when I had laid down and rested and finally got in my rest, I sat down and the next morning I got up and I was like, "Man, my bones feel a lot better. I'm not so achy today." That is the rest of God that he has promised us. The healing that we have the right to have. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. This is how the word of God penetrates our hearts and minds. It's that act of obedience where we step out and say, "God's got it. God's got it. Quick. It's powerful. It's sharper. God's got it. It discerns. Oh, God's got it. Look at verse 16. Let us therefore come boldly into the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. You We got to do this for God's grace and to help those in the time of need. Because how many people are out there that are not in the rest of God? They're not resting in God. Now, Paul talks about this in Romans. Look at Romans 16:20. And the God of peace, look at that word peace here. Prosperity, rest, quietness, shall bruise, crush completely, shatter Satan under your feet shortly. That's in the state of rest. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Are you catching this? The moment you enter into your obedient rest time and rest period, the grace of peace, the God of peace, your prosperity, your rest, your quietness is going to bruise the devil because every time the devil throws something at you, God's got this. I'm at peace. I've settled my soul down with the Lord. I'm good. Woo. And he says, "Satan, it'll crush completely, shatter Satan." Now, Satan is, it's another word for any evil that comes in your life that comes after you. Bad health, bad finances, and and a lot of these things you're in that situation because you made bad decisions because you didn't enter your rest that you have that God has given you to enter. Oh, and it crushes crush completely shatters Satan under your feet shortly. And that's that state of rest. How long does it take for healing to take place? Sometimes it could take days. Sometimes it could take months. Um I went uh when I was getting out of that diabetes and high cholesterol, that kind of stuff. And I've been healed of all of that. It took several weeks of me praying. I had the elders pray over me, casting the demons out. I did everything I possibly could. It took weeks, but finally when I finally said, "You know what, Lord? I'm going to trust and take this step of faith and I just got rid of all that insulin. I got rid of all that those pills." Do you know that to this day I still have no issues? None whatsoever. You know, and and there are moments that it tries to come back and it's like, "Nah, get lost. I already defeated you, devil." Talk about having some confidence and boldness. This is going to trigger that when you enter your rest. Because what you're doing is you're telling the Lord, "You got this. I'm done trying to handle it myself. And I choose to walk in the quietness, in my rest, because you promised me rest." And that means I know that you and the angels and the Holy Spirit are going forth and doing your thing. Amen. Amen. Amen. Oh, I hope you get this message. I hope you stand on Christ and I hope you apply it to yourself. Oh, let's close the word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the power and the anointing of your word. And we pray and ask that we apply it to our lives. That we do enter our rest that you promised us. That we live in that rest. that we live in that confidence and the boldness knowing that you and the angels and the Holy Spirit are taking care of whatever's going on around us, Father God. For we do it in the act of obedience. We do it in an act of faith because we believe. We believe that you are the son of God, Jesus. We believe that you redeemed us and pardon us. We believe that you are God. You are holy. We believe in faith that you are our provider, that you are our healer. And so we take the act of faith to believe and co-mingle the two together so that we can enter into the rest and say, "Here you go, Lord. All my problems belong to you because they're not mine anymore in the name of Jesus, the son of the living God. Amen and amen." And God says, "I take it. Enter your rest." I hope you get this and I hope you live it. Amen. Amen. God bless you. I'll see you in the next message. Byebye. Previous Next Home
