UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION PART 5 Equip listeners to grasp the Revelation 7–9 timeline—how the church age closes, how the first half of the Tribulation unfolds through the seven trumpets and the first two “woes,” why God’s judgments fall on “one-third” of creation, and how these events aim to drive repentance while God preserves a sealed remnant of Israel. UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION PART 5 Pastor Marcos Marrero May 31, 2009 Objective: Equip listeners to grasp the Revelation 7–9 timeline—how the church age closes, how the first half of the Tribulation unfolds through the seven trumpets and the first two “woes,” why God’s judgments fall on “one-third” of creation, and how these events aim to drive repentance while God preserves a sealed remnant of Israel. Synopsis: The message opens with prayer and spiritual warfare, declaring the gathering a “no-fly zone” for the enemy. The teacher then reviews a dispensational reading of Revelation: the church age (seven churches/seals) gives way to the Rapture, after which the Holy Spirit’s church-age anointing lifts. The Laodicean-type church is portrayed as remaining to face testing. The first six seals are recapped—especially wars, deception, famine, and cosmic disturbance—framed as forces that shaped church history and culminate in a visible unveiling of Christ at the sixth seal. Matthew 24 is woven in to show parallel signs and the call for believers to “look up.” Turning to Revelation 8–9, “about half an hour” of silence in heaven is interpreted as the first 1,260 days (three and a half years) of Tribulation. Seven angels receive seven trumpets, signaling swift, concentrated judgments that mingle heaven’s fire with “the prayers of the saints” (divine recompense). The first four trumpets strike one-third of earth, sea, rivers, and heavenly lights—read as spiritual forces now driving history toward three escalating “woes.” Woe 1 (fifth trumpet): a fallen “star” (Satan) opens the abyss; demonic “locusts” torment people for five months but cannot harm those sealed by God (Israel’s remnant). This visible collision of the spiritual and physical realms is presented as severe mercy—exposing the reality of demons so that many will repent. Woe 2 (sixth trumpet): four destroying angels bound at the Euphrates are released to kill a third of humanity, accompanied by a 200-million strong, terrifying cavalry. Despite judgments, many still refuse to repent of demon-worship, violence, sorcery, sexual immorality, and theft (Rev 9:20–21). The two witnesses (identified here as Enoch and Elijah) establish Temple worship and law, confront the rising Antichrist/false prophet, and are killed after 1,260 days; the world celebrates until God raises them, along with those martyred in faithful repentance. Throughout, the speaker emphasizes: God judges the Church first (escape via faithfulness to Jesus and His Word), then purifies Israel and the nations; judgments are purposeful—to reveal Christ, unmask Satan, and compel a choice. The message closes urging readiness, repentance, and reliance on the Holy Spirit to discern spiritual truth and endure faithfully. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: [Music] Thank you Jesus. Hallelujah. Praise God. Praise the Lord. Father in heaven, in Jesus name, we take we take authority right now, Father God, over every principality, every power, every dominion, every spirit of wickedness, Father God, in the name of Jesus. And we bind them right now. We thank you, dear Lord Jesus, for we declare this uh service tonight a no-fly zone, Father God. uh where uh no works of the enemy can prosper, Father God. For we declare them dead tonight, Father God, we bind them so that they will not interfere with the word of God as it goes forth tonight. We thank you now that as we humble ourselves before you, Father God, come to praise and to worship you and honor your presence here tonight. Father God, we ask that you would give us ears to hear. That you would open our hearts to understand and to receive and that you would allow your word, Father God, to bring life and joy and peace into our spirit, soul, and body. Father God, to the glory of your son, Jesus, we pray. Amen. Praise God. Hallelujah. We um uh so far have gone through the first uh seven chapters of the uh book of Revelation. Today we're going to deal with the seventh chapter and then move on. But basically we said that God works through dispensations. And we said that the dispensation of grace which is the church age when Jesus came and said I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it up until the time when the church it is rapture that means that the anointing power of God which is the Holy Spirit who landed God himself landed upon the 120 uh disciples and it was manifested by tongues of fire upon their heads. that anointing will be removed at that time because we said 120 time 50 equals 6,000 or the end of the six day work weak. So basically when the church is removed the the Holy F is God is everywhere. He's not removed but the anointing that was upon the church is removed because there's a church that's going to be left the Leoa church that have to go through the through the testing. And that's how they earned their salvation. They're the ones that have Jesus on the outside in in Revelation 3:20 to the church of Leo. They say Jesus says, "I stand at the door and knock. If you open the door, I will come in." Meaning that that's the only church that doesn't have Jesus in it. And so that church has to go through the through the trials and tribulations that will be taking place uh uh during that time. But we know that the seven that the uh 2,000 years of church that we have right now were divided into seven. I I got water here, but thank you. I'll take it. I'm going to call I'll take it. The other one kind of water. Thank you. Anyway, so the that that was divided into seven and we saw that it was seven seals. In the physical revelation of the church age, God gave us seven churches. Jesus appeared to John and send the message to seven churches and you can go historically from the beginning. Uh a church that was very much on fire for God and you can follow it to where it comes to I think it's our to where it says you have a reputation of being alive but you're dead. you know the to the church history and then it comes up to the last two churches where one is is going to be taken away and the other one is going to be left. And then when we came to the spiritual side of that we saw that it was through seven seals and we saw by by the paper that we had that that the seven seals uh the first four seals were the horses. the white horse, the red horse, the black horse, the pale horse. And this symbolized the spirit or the force that was moving the church age. And we saw that through Hitler and through the wars and the different things that were going on, the one world power that was going, the spirit of Antichrist. As a matter of fact, as we move on, you will see that there's three spirits jump out of the Antichrist like three frogs. I believe that those three spirits is the spirits that that govern the world today. One is Freud as you know Sigman Freud introduced the um uh uh the psychology that affects so much today. The other one was Carl Marx who introduced to us socialism which is what's trying to unite the world today. And the um and the fourth was um and the third one was um uh Darwin with evolution. those three spirits uh uh Freud, Darwin and and and Marx are the three forces that are governing today. And you'll see those spirits come out like frogs in the middle of the of the tribulation. So we know that there are spiritual forces driving the thing. So that we found out then that uh uh the the fifth seal deals with bringing Israel back as a nation and and bringing the world as a as as a united uh world, the new world order, which is what they're talking today. And when the sixth seal was open, we know that that involves a war that will take place on 1/4th of the earth. And that's the Middle East. And this will be an army that comes from the north who many believe is Russia with with uh Bethtomga, that's where Turkey is today and Persia, that's where Iran is today. And he names the people that come and it will invade Israel. And God is going to use that opportunity to show himself holy. In other words, right now, everybody has a different God. When this sixth seal takes place, the physical realm that we live in is going to be tore open. It's like a scroll. The sky is going to rolled up. See, those say they didn't have books like we do. They had uh uh scrolls that were rolled and you open it to read it. But if you let it go, it it rolled up again. He says that's what the sky is going to do. The sky is going to rolled up and then all of a sudden we're going to see Jesus. We're going to see God. Everybody in the whole world is going to see it. And then that's when the wrath of God is about to begin. So there is a conjunction. Then the first three chapters one, two, and three give us the physical history of the church age. Uh verses four, chapters four, five and six give us a spiritual version of it. And then on chapter 7, we have a coming together. A coming together. Now, last week I kind of make a made a parenthesis in the fact that we had to deal with in Matthew 24 Jesus says no one knows the day nor the hour. And the thing is if we see that Russia or some power from the north is invading Israel and that Israel is about to fall, you know, then we know that Jesus is about to come. And that's what he said. Jesus told the disciples when he gave him all of the sign. He said, "When you see these things begin to happen, look out. This is not the time." What what did he say when we open the sixth seal? He says, "Men hid to the caves and into the rocks." And he said, "Hide us from the wrath of him who's coming." Jesus says the opposite for us Christian when we see those things begin to take place. He says, "Look out for your redemption is getting very, very close to the word to know." And so I told you and we got ahead a little bit of ourselves last week that when Jesus says no one knows the day nor the hour, he's talking about the middle of the wrath of God, the middle of the seven years. And we're probably going to get into that next week in great detail. But let's pick it up now. And if you have the book, we'll be on page um 35. And uh at the bottom of the page, Matthew 24, chapters 40 and 41. And this is in the middle. Jesus is giving us at the beginning of Matthew 24. The disciple asked him, when is going to be the end of the age? What is going to be the sign that you're coming? So Jesus goes through a great list of things that will take place. He said, "Be careful that no one deceive you." That's a white horse. He says because many antichrist will come and say I am he and they will deceive many. Then he says there will be wars and rumors of war. That's the second horse. And they said will be famines and and and all kinds of uh economic things. He says that's not the end yet. And then when the when the fourth comes in that's when you say when the son of man come to come the lightning that flashes from the east goes to the west. I don't know if you ever had a lot of lightning storms every every summer and when a real big lightning falls close to where you are and you see it not just far. It's almost like the light in a lightning is so bright. It's almost like a crack appear in the middle of reality and you can see through the other side. I don't know if you ever felt that when I seen lightning real close. That's what it looked like. And that's what it is. the the the spiritual realm where God is is so bright that it when that happen, it's going to be like a crack that opens. And that's what Jesus says. Before I come, it's going to be like lightning. It's going to flash from the east to the west and boom, the sky is going to roll up like a scroll and you're going to see the bright light. And the people who love darkness are going to be fleeing to the caves and going to be scared thinking the end of the world is there. But for us who believe, we're going to be rejoicing because we know that our salvation is very near. So that's why I dealt with that day known only to the Lord. That when he said there's a day that is known only to the Lord, that is in the middle of the seven years, the wrath of God, when God kind of brings all of the clocks together. We just have our first conjunction of the clock. We had the 144th generation from Adam to us. I believe the 144th generation was born when Israel was born as a nation. And they call the generation today the baby boomer generation. I mean it even had one of the few generations that was named, you know, the the the baby boomer generation. That's that's I believe that's the last generation. The Bible says that Jesus is going to come before that generation ends. If it's 1947 or 1948, that takes you to 2017 or 2018. So that means the seven years had to take place before that because the seven years happened. That means 2010 is as far as we can go. If if this is the case, that that's how close we are, guys. That's how close I believe we are, you know. Yeah, that's how close we are. I believe that we're not close because if that last generation is the generation that was born when Israel was born, those seven years have to take place because the seven years include all of the events that Jesus says is going to take place. And those he says this generation shall not pass away until all of those events pass. Those events are going to pass transpire through the seven-year period. That means that the seven year have to start no later than 2010. Now might interest some of you that the Mayan calendar uh that was there in Mexico and in Peru that they found they calculated that the end of the world will be in 2017 and they have a snake that's called or whatever the snake supposed to come on on on se no on December 24th of 2011. They figure that this snake is going to come from the sky. You know it says in Revelation chapter 13 there was a a a dragon in the sky and his tail drew a tear of the stars. These people knew this back then. You see these are spiritual things and those people were deep into the spiritual things except they were into the dark part of the spiritual things. But now let's begin. If you got the books page 35 or go to Matthew 24 verse 40 and 41. And this is the rapture. He says, "Then two men will be in the field." No, this is this is the middle of the tribulation. The two then two men will be in the field. One will be taken and the other one left. Two women will be grinding at the meal. One will be taken and the other one left. And and then uh and then it says that it will be a day that is truly a day known only to the Lord. Now what is happening there is uh during the middle of the tribulation everybody will be killed by what we're going to be beginning to study today. Everybody that's on the earth one-third of the earth is going to be killed. So if the Jews are going to inherited a physical land and are going to have physical bodies because when we're resurrected our bodies are changed. Jesus says that in the resurrection we will have bodies like the angels who neither marry nor are given in marriage. I mean when we get our new bodies we're not going to have husbands wife. Jesus is the husband. He's is our Lord and all of us belong to him. So we're not going to be able to reproduce. So basically God has to keep some Jewish people that will be able to reproduce. Now, amazingly enough, only God knows our genetic makeup. And when it says there that one will be taken and one will be left, this is the Assa. That's what the day of the Lord was about. That's what the day of atonement was about. When you brought the two goats, you cast lots. One was led into the wilderness and one was taken to the slaughter. That mean you if you're a Jew, because that's for the Jews. If you're a Jew and you're married and either you, the husband or the wife, don't have the right genes, when the day of atonement comes, one of them will be killed. The other one will be spared to go into the wilderness. And then they're the ones that are going to be taken into the the caves and they're going to reproduce after the seven years so that God will have a physical inheritance. This is why you see that at the end of the thousand years, Satan is loosened. He had to be loosened because none of those people has ever faced temptation because Satan is bound with a great chain and is throwing into into the great pit. So I just wanted to conclude that from last week which took us ahead but just to to bring it down uh to that a scripture that I failed to use last week also is Jeremiah 33 2021 which is on page 36 and the Lord says thus sayeth the Lord if you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night so that there will be not so that there will not be a day and a night in their in my season in their season. Then my covenant may also be broken with David, my servant, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne and with the Levites, the priest, my minister. Notice how in Jeremiah, God says, I have a covenant with the day and with the night. That means God has a covenant where the sun has to go up and down or, you know, we see that it's going up and down, but where the earth has to go around. God says that covenant he made with David and he told David as long as day time and night time comes you will have a king to fall an anointed person to rule over you. You know many this is where the the uh uh many people believe that Jeremiah went wound up in in England. This is why so many of them are named Jeremy. And some people say that the stone that was underneath the the the throne back then is on the underneath the throne of England. There's all kinds of things that you can follow. But I believe the church today sits on the throne of David. And as soon as the throne of David is removed, uh the church is removed because if you look in Revelation chapter three when the Philadelphia church says, "I will open uh he will have the key of David and he will open that which cannot whatever he opens nobody can close and whatever he closes nobody can open." The key of David means the anointing that was upon David or upon Israel that's the anointing that is in the church. When the church is removed, that anointing is visited upon the Jews, 144,000 of them. But they rebel. Believe it or not, Israel rebels in the middle of the tribulation. As as they rebel, what happens is they will cease to have. See, when the antichrist takes over, they will not be one single entity on the earth to represent God's businesses here on earth. Right now, the church, the true church represent God's businesses. Israel represented it before that. Israel is going to represent it for the first 1260 days that we're going to cover now. But when they rebel and they are all killed and only a remnant is taken away and they're hidden some place, they will not be an agency on the earth that has to kill David. That's when the antichrist actually rises up and takes over. This is why the Bible says that during that time and if you got the book I got all of the scriptures there you can read it that then an angel from heaven comes and proclaimed the everlasting gospel. The gospel then has to be proclaimed by an angelic agency during that time. And you know what the angel says? If you accept the mark of the beast you'll go to hell forever and you will be beheaded for not accepting it. So I'm just kind of giving you a background of where we're getting into because this is a little bit more deeper. Now, what we're going to do, we're going to go to the uh the page 37. And if you got your book, we're going to go to Revelation chapter 8, verse one. If you want to follow through the Bible, this is what happens after the rapture. We are taken away. There was a war in Israel. Uh all of the sudden, as Israel is being surrounded by armies, the armies are surrounding Jerusalem. Jesus intervene when the sixth seal is open there's a great earthquake all of the foundations of the mountains all over the world will be moved the mean here in California all of those uh uh uh base of the mountains are all going to be shaken it says every wall is going to fall and then the sky is going to recede everybody's going to know that Jesus is coming as we're taken away now begins a period of time which is 1,260 days or the first half of the seven years. And God is going to concentrate his efforts or his focus on this first half is going to be Israel because he takes Israel and anoints them and the two witnesses that come who is uh Enoch and Elijah are going to establish the law and temple worship during that time and they're going to tell the world you have to fulfill the law. You have to live by the law. And it says that during that 1,260 days, any nation who does not follow the law that they laid down, rain is not going to come upon them. There's going to be famine. There's going to be all kinds of things. So now the law is given. Now, let's look at the spiritual side of the first 1,260 days after we're gone. Revelation 8:1. And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of a half an hour. Now if you remember you have the four which produce the two and the seventh always is the one that connects you into the next realm. Like when you have innocent conscience, human government promise out of those four things comes Israel and the church. And when Israel and the church combine comes the kingdom age. Then on the church age we had the white horse, the red horse, the black horse, the pale horse. Then we had the souls under the altar. We had the wrath of the lamb. And then when the church is raptured, that leads us into the seven years wrath of God. Now we're going to see the same principle over here. If you have this is the first, the second, the third, and the fourth trumpets that are going to be taking place. Now notice that it says about the space of a half an hour. Now what God is going to do here, he's already judged the church. How were we judged? If you kept his word and if you believe on the deity of Jesus, you're gone. He says, "Because you have kept my word and you have not deny my name, I will keep you from the hour." Listen to what Jesus says. The scripture is there. It this in Revelation chapter 3:10. Because you have kept my command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world to test those who dwell in the world. So the judgment of God begins with the church. You believe his word, you keep his name, he's going to keep you from the hour that's coming to test it. The church le say those believe the word, they get left. So that is the judgment of the church. One of them is gets gone. One gets left behind. Now we begin the judgment of Israel. Before you can judge Israel, you have to put him back in charge. Anointing. So 144,000 of them are are anointed. This is done through the two witnesses. to step when the cloud is open out of heaven. They send these two witnesses who have never died who were taken up to heaven and have to come to earth to die because the Bible says it is appointed of men once to die. Then comes the judgment since Elijah never died and see it cannot be Moses. Moses died and was buried. If Moses died twice, dying twice is the second death. That's them for eternity. You don't want to die a second time. You just want to die the natural death and that's it. And we're already dead in Christ. So we don't even die. The Bible says absent from the body, present with the Lord. Our body may die, but we just go straight up to heaven. So the idea here is now that God is going to deal with Israel and he's going to deal with him in this hour. Remember this hour uh I think it's in in Isaiah says, "For the day of the Lord is the year of retribution." That's 365 Sabbath. Jesus called this period of time the hour. He says that uh in in Revelation 3:10, I will keep you from the hour of trial. The fact that it says in Revelation chapter 81, there was in silence in heaven for about half an hour, meanings that we're going to be dealing with the first half of the seven-year period. So everything you see here now is going to is what's going to happen from day one when we get taken out to 1,260 days which is by the way three and a half years. Three and a half years. This is what's going to happen. Okay. And uh Revelation 8 2 through 6. And I saw seven angels who stand before God. And to them were given seven trumpets. Then another angel having a golden sensor came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense that he should offer it with the prayers of all of the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the saint ascended before God from the angel's hand. Then the angel took the sensor filled it with a fire from the earth the altar and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightning, and an earthquake. So the seven angels who had the seven trumpers prepared themselves to sound. Here we see if if you remember when the fifth seal was open in Revelation chapter 6, when the fifth seal was open, he says, "I saw the souls under the altar of those who have been slaughtered for the sake uh of the word." He doesn't call them Christian. I believe that these are the Jews and the many people who believe the word but they were not Christian. And he saw them dressed in white. They were given harps and they asked God, "How long before you judge the world for what they did to us? How long before you judge Hitler and before you judge Staling and before you judge all of this tyrant that's been killing us and killing us and killing us and raping our children and killing our How long? Now notice that it says there that as the seventh seal is open in heaven, we see that there's lightnings and thunders and an angel takes like a some kind of a bowl or something. He the fire that's burning out of the altar of God. He fills it with that puts incense. Incense is like prayer. You know incense is a powder. You throw it in the fire and it goes up and the incense is mixed with the prayers of the saints. This is payback time, baby. That's what that mean. This is payback time. Every soul that got in heaven, every person got resurrected in heaven that was mistreated, that was beaten, that was whoever it was that did it. This is where nations are going to be judged. Nations, you know, when the Jews were were were being slaughtered, many nations did not want them. Cuba, they they had a big ship full of Jews and they turned him back. I believe that's why we had had 50 years of Fidel Castro, the mystery we had, you know, and this is how it's been. nations are going to be judged by how they treated not only Jews but the Christians who are now in heaven are saying to God yeah that guy over there he he killed 150,000 of us this is time so when this fire is released the prayers of the saint that's saying how long before you judge it is make and is throwing down onto the earth and it comes in the form of seven trumpets now the seals the first four seals where in the form of a horse that gallops and gallops and gallop takes forever. A trumpet is this is fast. This is not going to take a long time to take place. When the trumpet blows, this thing is going to begin. And so it it it as a reference you can look at Deuteronomy 32 34 and 35 where God says, "Is this not laid up in store with me? Seal upon my treasures. Vengeance is mine and recompense. Their foot shall slip in due time. For the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things to come hasten upon them." So this is the beginning now of the judgment of God upon the world. Now Revelation 8:7 says the first angel that's on next page 39 says the first angel sounded and hail and fire followed mingled with blood and they were thrown to the earth and a third of the trees were burned up and all green grass was burned up. Now I want you to see the symbolism here. During the third seal he says 14th 1/4 you need to understand four is a number for the physical creation. You have east, west, north and south square. Everything is square. You saw the four angels holding back the four winds on the corners of the earth. This is speaking about a judgment that was man against man. This is why Israel was invaded. Now we're coming to spiritual judgment. That's what number three is. Number three is the number of the spirit. God the father, God the son, God the holy spirit. So you see that the judgments here are based on onethird one-third of the trees. In in Revelation 8:7 it says, "And a third of the trees were burned out." Revelation 8:9, the second angel sounded like a great mountain burning with fire. A turn of the living a third of the living creatures in the sea died. Revelation 8:10 and 11. A third of the waters became warm wood and many men died from the water because he was made bitter. And the fourth trumpet and the fourth angel sounded. This is Revelation 8:12. And a third of the sun was struck and a third of the moon and a third of the stars. So a third of them were darkness and a third of the day did not shine likewise the night. So the night. So what we see here now is a spiritual judgment. First there was a physical judgment. The churches were judged in the physical. Whether we kept the word of God, whether we believe that Jesus is the son of God, whether we believe that the word of God is a real uh uh that the Bible is a real word of God. We deny we did not denied his name and we kept his word. And then there was a physical army, man against man. That was the first judgment or the end of the church age was the war, man versus man. People who hate the people of God. Did you know I was reading I just got my thing from the uh the Assemblies of God International. They send uh every three months they send the magazine. The most popular books that are out right now, three or four books, are all about atheists spouting their hate towards the children of God, towards the word of God. There's so much demand for the books that they're writing. They're having to do printings and printing and printing after that. This is spiritual sign that we're on the end time. Tremendous hate. Why? Because they're demonic. The stronger the demons in them, the more they hate the word of God, the more they hate the people of God. But here in this realm that we're starting right now, it is a spiritual versus the physical. One-third of the trees, one-third of the sea, one-third of the earth, one-third of the skies, the sun, the moon, and the star. What that means now, there's going to be a conflict or war between humans and spirits. And this is what we need to see. these four forces that you see. And remember, you have to keep in mind that these four things are like spirits or forces that are released. And those four things are the the power behind the 1,260 days. These three and a half years are going to be driven by spirits behind the earth, behind the rivers, behind the sea, and behind the stars. This force is going to drive everything to what is called three walls. And let's go to the next trumpet. And now you you'll see it how it makes sense. Revelation 8:13. And I look and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven. There is an angel now. This is spiritual. saying with a loud voice, "Woe, wo, wo to the inhabitants of the earth because of the remaining blast of the trump of the three trumpets or of the three angels that have the trumpet that are about to sound." These three wolves are the consequences of these four forces that were unleashed. They were unleashed upon the earth. Now remember for those of you that were here when we just finished our supernatural lesson in the supernatural realm, what did we dealt with? We dealt with the sea saying that's where the seed of Satan is. Then we dealt with the air. That's where the wicked spirit is where the principalities rule from. Then we dealt with the creeping things and we dealt with the cattle. Here's the same thing. This is the whole sphere uh spiritual fear where all these four different levels of demonic Christians are is going to be judged. There is a judgment that is taking place and it will happen when when the fifth when the sixth trumpets blow. Why? Because we saw that we we've been following that principle. The four horsemen were the fourth. Then when the fifth seal was open, we saw Israel being judged so that Israel could come back into the land. When the sixth seal is open, we see the church being judged. One gets left, one gets taken up. And then when we saw the seventh seal open up, that's what led us into the rapture. And that's what leds us into the beginning of the seven years of God's wrath. Now, let's go to the first wall. Revelation 9 verses 1-6. Then the fifth angel sounded and I saw a star falling from heaven to the earth. Now remember star represents spiritual things. In Revelation chapter one at the end of the chapter says here's the mystery of the stars and of the seven lampson. He says the stars are the pastors or the messengers or the force behind the church. The seven lampson represent the church. So here's the spirit. That's what it mean. the first spirit falls down. He says, "And when the fifth angel sounded the trumpet, I saw a star falling from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit, and he opened the bottomless pit." Now, how many of you know who this is? This is Satan. Jesus said, "I saw Satan fall down from heaven like lightning." This is Satan. Why? Because right now the third heaven is where Jesus and God are. This is when Jesus in the Lord's prayer says, "Our father who are in heaven, uh, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." That heaven is the third heaven where God is, his will is done perfectly there. The second heaven, however, where Satan is, his will is not being done there. That's the real of Satan. What is called now the underworld. When Jesus comes, we are not taken to heaven. If you listen carefully, he says that Jesus is going to come to the clouds and that we're going to rise up to the clouds to meet the Lord where on the air. Where is Satan? The prince of what? He is the prince of the power of the air. Satan is on this in between the third heaven and earth right now. When Jesus comes in from the rapture, guess who he kicks out? Satan. Guess where he kicks him out from? The second heaven. And guess who he kicks out with him? All of the demons that are with him right now. So actually at the end of the church age, the second heaven is restored like it was originally. See, that's where Adam lived. Even though Adam was on the earth, it says that at the cool of the evening, they went, Adam and Eve went to fellowship with God. Where? In this in between, God would come down from it's like you having a house and having a garden. God lives in the house. They lived in the in in the outside and they met in the garden with God. The garden is a meeting place. That's where we're going to go. We're never going to go to heaven. People don't understand that. We don't uh if we die now, our spirit, we go to heaven. But during the rapture, if we're alive when the rapture takes place, we're not going to heaven. We're going to the air. That's where Jesus is coming to the clouds to be of the air. And we're going to be with him there forever. The Bible says and then Jesus during the seven years is going to purify the earth. And at the end of seven years, he going to come down to where? To the earth because this is our real. We're physic Home Previous Next

WHO AM I AND WHY AM I HERE The objective of this message is to help believers understand their true identity and divine purpose as created in the image of God. It emphasizes that every individual is made as a representative of God, called to live in alignment with His Word, exercise dominion, and choose life and blessing over sin and deception. < Back WHO AM I AND WHY AM I HERE Minister Lisa Kane September 18, 2022 Objective: The objective of this message is to help believers understand their true identity and divine purpose as created in the image of God. It emphasizes that every individual is made as a representative of God, called to live in alignment with His Word, exercise dominion, and choose life and blessing over sin and deception. Synopsis: In Who Am I and Why Am I Here?, Lisa Kane teaches from Genesis 1:26–27, highlighting that mankind was created in the image of God not merely in outward appearance, but as His representatives on earth. The message explores how this truth answers two of life’s most fundamental questions: identity and purpose. Lisa stresses that Genesis and Revelation are the two most attacked books of the Bible because they establish our beginnings and our future. She warns against modern distortions, such as attempts to merge evolution with Scripture or redefine human identity apart from God’s design. Drawing on Psalm 139, she affirms that God knew each person from conception, recording their days, identity, and purpose in His book. The teaching moves into Genesis 2, showing how God gave Adam authority to name the animals, illustrating humanity’s dominion and representative role. Lisa explains how Satan’s jealousy of this God-given authority fueled his rebellion and deception of mankind. Yet even before the fall, God’s plan included redemption through Christ. Through passages in Isaiah and Deuteronomy, the message calls believers to recognize their role as representatives of God, with the power to bless or curse, bring peace or calamity, and to choose life over death. Lisa emphasizes that rejecting God’s design—whether in creation, gender, or moral living—leads to destruction, but embracing His truth brings fruitfulness, multiplication, and blessing. The message concludes by pointing to God’s ultimate purpose, revealed in Daniel and Revelation: to bring an end to sin, establish everlasting righteousness, and fulfill His plan of redemption. Believers are urged to live as God’s representatives now—choosing blessing, rejecting deception, and walking in peace as they await the fulfillment of God’s promises. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and I'm recording this on Sunday, September 18th, 2022. And this message is called Who Am I and Why Am I Here? Thank you. Let's open up in a word of prayer and bless this message. Father God, we thank you for your blessing on this word. We bless it as well. Let it strengthen our mind and our hearts and let it be right above that foundation of of our rock, Jesus Christ, so that we can stand firm and know who we are, why we're here, and what we're doing because we line ourselves up with your word. Thank you, Father God. In the glorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture here. We're going to be in Genesis 1:es 26- 27. And then God said, "Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God. He created him. Male and female he created them. All right, let me lay a couple of things down here just so we understand what we're looking at here because this is going to be one, it is an awesome message. When I was um rehearsing this yesterday, I was blessed just for myself and two I the last two weeks this confirmation of this message I've had confirmation after confirmation to teach this message. So I am very excited about it. Okay. So, first I'd like to tell you that the two most attacked books in the Bible is the book of Genesis and the book of Revelation. If you attend a church and you haven't had your pastor teach in either one of those books, I highly recommend that you supplement your uh church attendance with finding pastors and teachers who do teach these two books because they really lay the foundation for you again as to who you are and why you're here and then what's coming. You know, you you need to know these things and this will help you stand strong and full of joy in spite of all hell breaking loose in this world. Amen. The other part that you need to know is you've got the attack that is so prevalent in these books that they've been going on for a couple hundred years now, at least in the scientific community in relation to Genesis. because now you've got pastors teaching or trying to teach and force evolution into the book of Genesis about creation and it don't work that way. God clearly told us how he created heaven and earth. He taught us that he did six days and he rested on the seventh day. So there is no other thing that can go in here. Evolution does not fit it. And I've already taught on evolution. You can go back and look at my teachings on there. It's been debunked. Big bang theory has also been debunked. The only thing that cannot be debunked is the word of God. So you start science with the word of God. You will conclude that science lands with the word of God. And uh you know a good resource just just to lay this out here um Kenham's ministry, the creation museum, the uh arc encounter, they really really teach apologetics and they show you what the scientific community is doing. Just to give you a small example of it, uh I think it was last Monday or Tuesday, they uh one of their news segments that they brought online, it's on YouTube, it's on answers.tv, too. Anyways, they brought up an article where the scientists are coming out saying, "Well, we don't want to offend the LGBTQ community, so we're going to hold back truth so that there is no offense." Well, how can you know what truth is on science if you're going to hold it back? So, you have to get yourself wellounded in the word of God. And that is where this message is coming into. So, this is going to be very, very interesting. So, we're going to start here. As you said, as you can see, he says he he created us in his image. Okay, what does that mean? You know, I for years I've always thought of it as well, I must look like him. But look at the uniqueness of people in this world. We all look different. Even twins have a difference about them. There there's a resemblance, strong resemblance because you sometimes you can't tell them apart, especially when they're in separate rooms. But there are subtle differences. That means this doesn't mean we look like him. I mean, we probably have same as him, two arms, two legs, a head, a mouth, eyes, nose, that sort of thing. But what does it mean? So, let's go to the Hebrew, the Strong's Hebrew dictionary. So, the meaning of the word image, and it's number H6754, and the word is sele. I'm sure I did not say that right. But it means from an unused root meaning to shade a phantom that is figuratively an illusion resemblance which is what I was just talking about. Hence a representative figure especially an idol image vein shoe. Oh representative wait let's go back to that representative figure. Wait a minute. We represent God to who? Do you see a line, a dividing line in this world? Especially here in the United States, we've got a 50-50 split in the beliefs here. So there is a dividing line and one line is a representative of God and one is not. So the image portion is who we are because he made us in his image to represent him. Oh, that is so powerful. Let's go and understand this a little bit more because I want you to understand where the Lord is coming from here because you know I get it. You know, we have a generation right now that can't even identify what sex they are. They're t attacking science so much that they can't even they they don't want to say scientifically what a male and what a female is. But you know what it's funny they they keep it with animals. They're they're not telling you an animal's genderless. But man, they're attacking man. They're attacking the book of Genesis. And by the way, this is spiritual. This is the demonic entity that is pushing this ideology forward. And with our helmet of salvation, we should be able to see it and we should be able to avoid it. Amen. Okay. So, let's go further in the scripture though because I want you to see not only as a representative, but how God made you into and and identified you and wrote you down in a book. Look at this. Look at this. This is awesome. Psalm 139 13- 16. For you formed my inward parts. You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are your works and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in secret and skillfully rot in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance being yet unformed. And in your book they all were written the days fashioned for me when as yet there were none of them. Oh, you know, there's a couple things I need you to see here that I really want you to understand. First of all, I look at this and that my soul knows very well. Okay? You already know who you are. And what's happening is you've got a world out there that's bombarding you on the outside. And when you don't have your helmet of salvation on, you are open to being deceived. So in other words, when you don't represent God because you're not choosing God, you are s susceptible to the world's teaching and you're being deceived. You are being on the other side. So, but God had says he knew you from the very beginning. So much so that he wrote you down. Look at this in your book. They were all written. The days. So, he wrote down your number of days. He wrote down your name, what your name is going to be. And by the way, this is done at conception, not 15 weeks, 18 weeks, 21 weeks, or at birth. This is done at conception. He he even wrote down what color eyes you're going to have, what color hair you have. I'm going to tell you right now, even he is so mindful of you. He knows how much hair you have on your body at any given time because he is aware of you so much. This is how much he loves you. And this is what he did at the point of conception for you because he looked at you and said, "You're my representative." And because of that, and he gave us free will, so we get to go choose to accept or reject who we are. Now, I'm going to tell you right now in judgment day, if you think you're genderless or you think you're not a male and you're a female or you identify as a male and not a female, I'm gonna tell you right now, God is going to identify you as who he made you. Simple as that. Amen. That's just the reality of it. So, let's look at a little bit more of who we are and why we're here because Genesis answers it and we're going to see how this pulls together. Watch this. So, Genesis uh chapter 2. Okay, so you know what? Before I get into the scripture, I want you to understand something. Genesis chapter 1 and 2, I think in my personal opinion, are the most attacked chapters in the entire book of the Bible or the cannon of the Bible. And the reason being is if you go and Google Adam and Eve, you will find that there's like two Adams, two Evees, because they did not understand what the scriptures were saying is because nobody sat down and read the two chapters and understood it. You got to sit down with the Holy Spirit when you read the Bible. You have got when you spend time with the Lord in the secret place, you pray first and you say, "God, I I want my mind to be in the right place." So you're asking the Holy Spirit to come in and as you read the scripture, he is giving you understanding. Okay. So what is it about Genesis 1 and 2 that is so attacked? Well, they think there's two Adams and two Evees because in chapter one he said what the scripture we read earlier that he made man in his own image, male and female. And then in chapter two, we're going to see some scripture here where Eve is not around. And then you find that she is formed from Adam's rib. So what happened? What is the difference between the two chapters? Well, let's read chapter 2 verses 1-5 and the first part of five. Thus the heavens and the earth and all the host of them were finished. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had done and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because it is in it he rested from all his work which God created and made. This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens. Look at the key word here. Before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. Okay. You can I in all reality chapter one should have ended right there. It didn't. You know, they break the chapters and the verses up based on what they saw at the time, what you know, the the historians and the those that wrote the Bible. This is how because it wasn't written in chapters and verses. It was written all as one. And later on it was uh workers for God who was separating this to make it um so you can find scriptures easily and stuff like that. That's what this was. So this could have ended chapter one. So chapter one is an entire planning phase or he made the construct of the earth before plants before herbs before anything grew. He made the construct. So, and you can always picture it like this. He's in his workshop. He's got a table there, a desk, whatever, and a bench, whatever. And he's got his blueprints out. Or you can even go to a 3D level and say, "Well, here's my bowl of water. That's going to be earth or water, uh, the oceans. Then he's got the bowl of earth. That's going to be the earth. Here's some trees, plants. This is what I'm going to do. These are the seeds for it. These are the animals. This is I'm going to make a man and a woman." That's the entire planning stage. And then chapter two goes into the actionable stage. And that is what's so awesome here. Okay. So now what I want you to see because I want you to understand how God he he made us this representative in his image. What he decided to do to work his image and how good and perfect his image is. because now you're going to see it in action. Now, Adam is placed into the garden. Now, again, I'm not reading all these scriptures for you. I encourage you to sit down, read them for yourself. Don't take a preacher's word for it. I I'm serious. You and the Holy Spirit are going to get more out of it than any. I just happen to love sharing the word of God, and this is why I do this. But I also don't want to spoon feed you. But I want to point you in the right direction, okay? which is to God, to the Holy Spirit. That's my job. That's what I'm doing. So, let's take a look at Adam here and what God did, his first task for Adam. Watch this. So, in Genesis chapter 2, so we're still in chapter 2, but now we're in verses 19 and 20. Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So, Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam, there was not found a helper comparable to him. Okay? So, Eve is not in the picture yet. So, God makes Adam. He makes all the beast and he he brings all these beasts and he says to Adam, "Go ahead and name them." Why would God do this? There is so much mystery in this scripture alone. This is another reason why this is so attacked. Do you even know why the devil went after Eve? No, you don't. Do you ever hear a teaching on that? No, you don't. I've taught on it a couple times now. And it has to do with this point in time. Think of it like this. Look at the relationship building up here. So God made Adam in his image. There's no sin yet. S this is perfect. This ear, this world here is watered by a mist. There's no rain. That means the weather never changes. There's no seasons. It is the sun goes up, the sun goes down. You don't age. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death. There's no death here. Meaning nothing is eating another animal. So all these animals walk up to Adam. There is no evil intent, fear or anything there. You get this? And Adam is made in God's image, not by look, but by representative. He gave Adam the authority over these creatures because he's now the representative of God over this world. This is our dominion. This was our purpose. So, as God and Adam build a relationship up, Ezekiel tells you that the devil is in the serpent watching things taking place. Now, the way Ezekiel's worded, theologians think it's, oh, well, this confirms that the serpent or the devil was in the serpent when he talked to Eve. Well, remember Eve is not in the picture yet. So, the serpent's there and Adam named him. So that means Lucifer is right there watching and he's getting appalled. He's upset. He's seeing God with this what looks like God because he's you see man is a phantom representative. He he saw the dominion given to man and he is mad because he's thinking, "Oh, I'm perfect. I'm beautiful. I should have that. I should have it all. In fact, God, I know you created me. But you know what? I deny that. I don't recognize that. You see this ideology here? In fact, you're supposed to worship me. Come worship me. That's how the devil is thinking. And that's the moment is right here in this scripture in this moment in time. The seedthing anger is boiling up. And in fact, here's another thing. If you read the book of Enoch, it talks about the angels smelling the humans and not liking the smell at all. So, you've got the devil here who who's looking at this infallible stinky creature made of flesh and blood that looks like could look like God. You know, he's in denial. He's angry. He's hating it. And yet, God gave us Dominion. Do you see what God has done for us? And that's just the tip of the iceberg. It's not talking about the redemption because the devil kind of said to God in his mind and maybe he had a conversation with God. It's not recorded in scripture, but he simply said, "You know what, God? I'm going to fool these people. I'm going to deceive them. I'm going to show you how stupid they are." And by the way, he was successful. But God had already built that into his plan. Look at the plan back in chapter one. Remember this is the blueprint, the planning stage. Chapter 1 verse 27 28. So God created man in his own image. In the image of God he created him male and female he created them. That's what I read earlier. Now look at this. Then God blessed them. And God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth." So before even Lucifer came into the picture, God already planned to give his image, his representative dominion over this earth. Oh hallelujah. Hallelujah. That is incredible. Okay. So now let's take a look at this a little further because I want you to understand now if you are a representative of God, the next question you need to be asking yourself, well then who is God? Who is this guy that gave us this kind of dominion? Look at this. Isaiah 45:6 and 7 that they may know from the right. Okay, just to lay a foundation here. This God is talking to Cyrus. Isaiah is writing this and this is something like 400 years earlier and I'm not 100% certain of the years. So Cyrus is going to come in and evade Israel. And this is a true story. The priest came out, pulled the section of Isaiah and started reading it to Cyrus, King Cyrus. And God is talking to King Cyrus that was written hundreds of years before. Look what he says to Cyrus, which is applicable to you and I. So we know who God is. Says that they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides me. And notice the rising of the sun or the setting. God is pointing back to Genesis to the planning stage when he put things and he made his construct and he put it in place where the sun went up the sun went or you know the earth rotated around. Look at he how he's pointing back to says there is none besides me. I am the Lord and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and create calamity. I the Lord do all these things. If we're in his image and we're the representative of him, should we be doing that? Wait, but you are. Wait, you don't even realize you're doing it. You want to know? You let sin in. You could have shut the door to sin and you could have a blessed life if you would choose to bless it and put God first. You do that. And I promise you, and I've got scripture to prove it here that we will show you, that you put God first and you get rid of that sin, you take care of yourself, you're blessed. Now, look at further what he says here in Isaiah, further down in the chapter, because this is what people do about God. Watch this. Woe to him who strives with his maker. Okay, we know that man fights God. They don't want a God because then they have to acknowledge their sin. That's one of the major attacks of the book of Genesis is that you have to acknowledge the fall of man that we got sucker punched by the devil and we fell. Well, here we are. We are representative. And if God has the ability to make light, darkness, peace, and calamity, we're in his image. We're the representative of it. We can choose him and live it. Now, look what he does here. Says, "Let the posturard strive with the posturds of the earth. And shall the clay say to him who forms it, what are you making? Or shall your handiwork say, he has no hands?" How dare you say I'm genderless? Seriously, how dare you say I recognize myself as a man or a woman and not what you were born as? How dare you strive with God? That's Satan. And you're letting him get in. But you are a representative of God. And as a representative, you should be making peace, not calamity. And because you're saying that you identify a certain way, you are causing calamity. You're a representative of God. He gave you that authority to do that. And when you're not doing this, you got a problem. Let's go to Deuteronomy. Look what happens here. Again, he's talking to Israel, but this is so applicable to you and I today. Look at this. Deuteronomy 30. We're going to read verses 15 through 20. See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, and that I command you today to love the Lord your God. Now, there's the issue right there. You ain't loving the God because you don't love yourself. You're you're saying, "I'm not a man or a woman or I'm ugly as this." God made you perfect. He called you good and he blessed you to be fruitful and to multiply. By the way, you notice gay can't be fruitful and multiply. That breaks the commandment against what God asked us to do. So why are we here to be fruitful and to multiply? But if you go all if everybody goes gay, we die. The whole generation of the whole world dies. That means we cannot do that. That's why God calls it an abomination. Let's continue on here. Look at what he says. Love the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his judgments that you may live and multiply. You see, this is what he asked you to do from the this is what he said. This, you're my representative. You are in my image. I bless you to live, to be fruitful, and to multiply. And here he's reaffirming it. And the Lord your God will bless you in the land you go to possess. So, wherever you go, he's going to do that. But if your heart turns away, oh, you see now if you're identifying as the opposite of whoever you're supposed to be or you say, you know what, God, you're not for me cuz we have different I I believe differently. Look what happens to you when you reject God so that you do not hear. But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear and are drawn away and worship other gods and serve them, Hollywood, the other kings and queens, things you like more than God, I announce to you today, this is God talking, that you shall surely perish. You shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. And I'm trying to get the scripture to move. I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you that I have set before you life and death. See, this is set before you. This is your responsibility. You get to choose because you are a representative of God. And this is why you're here. Look at that. He says, "I set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore, choose life that you both you and your descendants may live." Oh my goodness. You get to bless. You get to curse. So which one are you going to do? See, God made you perfect because you represent him. He had to make you good. He had to. The problem is is the devil came in. But God made an answer to that. This is why he redeemed us. And not only did he redeem us, he has a purpose now. So we have now we know why we're here. We know who we are. We're a representative co of God that we can bless. We can curse. We can cause calamity. We can cause peace. We also know we have a purpose to bless so we can have long life to be fruitful and multiply. Now look at God's purpose. Oh my word. This is awesome. Daniel 9:24, 70 weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy. He's bringing it all to an end, my friend. everything about sin, iniquity, he's going to reconcile the whole thing. So when we go to our heavenly life, whether we're in the presence of God or in uh hell, that is what God's purpose is. And it is to complete everything, to bring it to an end. Which means as a representative of God, you are on that same path. So your purpose is to bless, reduce sin, make it less in your life and cause peace, not calamity. So that the purpose of God comes to the end which we see happening now. Matthew 24, Luke 21, Mark 13 being revealed right now. That is prophecy being fulfilled at this very moment in our lives. And if you read the book of Revelation, you're going to find that the devil's going to be thrown in the lake of fire. Now, people who reject God, you know what? You know, you say he's not for me or you know that that it's your choice. You get to choose that. There's only another place you can go that is not in the presence of God. That's hell. So, it's up to you where you want to go. But I'm going to tell you, hell is not pleasant. It will not be pleasant. It is going to burn. It is going to hurt. And it will be perpetual for an eternity. And I don't wish that on anybody. So, even though there are people I dislike, I don't get along with, or I they attack me, and I know it's the devil behind the scenes, and I'm in my last message, I'm making atonement for them because I'm trying to bring peace to the land, doing my part as I am, a representative of the most high because he made me in his image. He is going to bring an end to sin. So you can stop sinning now and you can just start repenting and repenting and repenting. Job did it all the time. Did it for his kids. Do it for yourself. Do it for your family. Do it for your co-workers. Do it for your area that you are responsible for, which is what I was teaching the last time I taught two weeks ago. So I encourage you to bless because you are a representative of Christ and you have the right to cause blessings or calamities. And you know what? Don't live the life of drama. Enjoy the peace while we can still do it because who knows how long this is going to be. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this message again and we thank you for your blessing on it. Let us have the strength to bless and not curse. Let us have the strength to represent who you are and to show the world that you are, God, and that you are in control and that we represent you properly because you called us good. And thank you, Father God, for redeeming us and bringing us back to your presence and saving us and for your purpose of bringing an end to sins. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Well, God bless each and every one of you and I will see you in the next message. Bye-bye. Previous Next Home
- THE FINGER OF GOD | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

THE FINGER OF GOD Pastor Marcos Marrero July 22, 2022 Objective: The objective of this message is to reveal the divine authority of Jesus Christ demonstrated through the “finger of God,” which not only triumphed over Satan at the cross but also restored humanity’s original dominion in the spiritual realm. Pastor Marcos emphasizes the church’s calling to exercise this authority in unity, through the power of the Gospel, spiritual warfare, and the fivefold ministry, while warning against deception and complacency. Synopsis: In The Finger of God, Pastor Marcos Marrero explores the extraordinary authority of Christ that surpasses the power demonstrated by Old Testament prophets. While Moses, Joshua, and others revealed God’s might in miraculous ways, they were never given dominion over the spiritual underworld—an authority lost by Adam but restored through Jesus Christ. The Gospels declare that Jesus cast out demons with the finger of God, proving that the kingdom of God had come to earth. Unlike the prophets before Him, Jesus openly commanded unclean spirits, disarmed principalities through His death on the cross, and triumphed over Satan’s kingdom. Pastor Marcos highlights that Satan, stripped of his original glory and armor, operates only through deception, seeking to regain influence through lies and division. The church, however, has been entrusted with Christ’s authority to trample serpents, dismantle demonic strongholds, and reclaim spiritual territory. This authority is symbolized in the fivefold ministry—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers—working in unity to uphold the teachings of Jesus. The message warns of the dangers of spiritual negligence, where believers who fail to remain steadfast can fall prey to even stronger demonic attacks. Instead, Christians are called to daily die to self at the cross, walk in the Spirit, and exercise the authority given in Christ’s name. Pastor Marcos reminds readers that the true battle belongs to the Lord, whose fingers formed the heavens and whose breath gives eternal life. Through confession, faith, and obedience to the Word, believers live in the victory of Christ, secure under His dominion, and equipped to wage spiritual warfare with the finger of God. Inspired Teaching: Luke 11:20 “But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.” The prophetic ministry of the Old Testament prophets was indeed a powerful one: Through Moses God provided food and water for thousands of Israelites for decades in the wilderness, after parting the Red Sea. Joshua brought down the walls of Jericho with the simple blowing of the trumpets, and in like manner, through many of the prophets and throughout the centuries, God moved in awesome power to demonstrate to the nation of Israel and to the rest of the world that there is no God like Jehovah. But there was one element missing that God withheld from the prophets of old; authority over the underworld or the spiritual dimension, the original dominion that Adam lost over the spiritual realm when he failed to keep God’s Word. Mark 1:26-27 “And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him. Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, ‘What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.’” The defining and distinct difference between the prophets of the Old Testament and the New Testament prophets and saints was the authority given to us over the devil himself. Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Notice that this authority of the finger of God is connected to us trampling under our feet. After recognizing this new dimension of authority in the ministry of Jesus over the spiritual realm, the Pharisees tried to nullify it by declaring the ridiculous idea that Jesus’ power over the demonic realm originated from Beelzebub or Satan himself. Jesus shot this idea down instantly. Luke 11:18 “If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? Because you say I cast out demons by Beelzebub.” It is really hard for us to comprehend the tremendous shift of power that occurred when Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead. When Lucifer was created, he was the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty; he was in Eden the garden of God and clothed with an armor of every precious stone: Ezekiel 28:12-15. After God kicked him out of heaven and stripped him of his armor, Satan stole from Adam the first human, the dominion that God gave to Adam over the creatures of the sea and the fowls of the air and the cattle of the earth and the creeping things. All symbolic of the spiritual hierarchy that have rule over the earth. When Jesus died on the cross He stripped Satan naked and made a spectacle of him and all his minions. Colossians 2:13-15 “And you, being dead in your trespasses and the circumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him (Jesus), having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwritten of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having DISARMED principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (the cross).” After Satan’s humiliating defeat on the cross, all that was left to him is the lie that he is the deceiver in chief, and it is of his nature. He is naked and without armor, the only vesture left to him is the cloak of deception. The kingdom of God—the church—which Jesus established right in front of the gates of hell, exists to preach and to practice the Gospel of the kingdom of God with the demonstration of the power of the finger of God to expose and to dispose of demonic deception. Luke 11:23 “He who is not with me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.” Unity is the key for the exercising of this authority of the finger of God. Satan is a predator, the law of predatory behavior dictates that in order to steal you have to separate and divide. The five fingers on the hand represent the church five-fold ministry: The apostolic, the prophetic, the evangelizing, the pastors and the teaching ministries, all have to be in agreement with the teaching of Jesus, if we are not in agreement with Jesus then we are against Him. The foundation of the authority given to the church is in the victory of Jesus over Satan on the cross; spiritual warfare reveals the manifestation of that power as the church pulls down demonic strongholds over cities, families and individuals. Luke 11:22 “But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.” That is exactly what Jesus did to Satan on the cross, He overcame him and took away all his armor in which he trusted and then divided the spoils. That is what the churches should be doing today, sadly we are not. How many ministers begin their ministry in the church without a clue in how to drive a demon out of one of their members who is afflicted by the devil, let alone to challenge the principalities that wield power over the geographical areas assigned to their church. Luke 11:24-26 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes he finds it swept and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” There is a lot to learn from the above three verses about spiritual warfare. Scripture declares that there is no rest for the wicked. A demon without a human host to hide in is in continued torment, seeking rest and finding none. Demons will not stop trying to get a foothold inside a human host. There are ranks in the spiritual dimension and there is unity in their goal to find a place of rest. Interesting that Jesus tells us that demons see the physical bodies of their previous victims as their house. ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ Also, that those who have been delivered from demonic oppression have their house or life swept and put in order only to fall victim again to more and more powerful demonic strongholds. Matthew 12:39-42 “…An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here. The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here.” Jesus taught the above verses in Matthew right before the story about the unclean spirit finding no place of rest and getting higher ranking demons to help him. The truth is that there is no higher-ranking authority than the name of Jesus and that because of what He accomplished on the cross. His name is higher than Solomon’s Jonah’s and everybody else. ALL AUTHORITY is given to Jesus. The sign of Jonah and the finger of God all testify to the authority given to the church in the name of Jesus. Man made religion teaches how to sweep and clean the house. The Gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us how to come to the cross and die daily to self. Psalm 144:1 “Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle—My lovingkindness and my fortress, my high tower and my deliverer, my shield and the One in whom I take refuge, who subdues my people under me.” As long us our self-life is prostrated at the foot of the cross—dying to self and living for God—we are protected from the evil one, safe and secure in this hope: Psalm 8:6-8 “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen—even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas.” The original dominion that God gave to Adam in the Garden has been restored to us through the Last Adam—Jesus—when He rose from the Garden tomb. For our God has given to Jesus a name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow; even those of the highest-ranking creatures in all of the universe, for there is no other name under heaven by which a human can be saved. Psalm 8:3 “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained.” God’s handy work was demonstrated by Jesus while driving out unclean spirits with the finger of God and after dying for our sins on the cross Jesus completed His handy work by putting everything under our human feet. When Lucifer was created everything that comprised his entire personhood had a beginning. So that when iniquity was found in Lucifer all the wisdom, perfection and beauty that he had been clothed with was removed from him for it was not in his original nature, after he chose to be like God instead of being with God. When God created the physical body of Adam, He used clay to make the shape of the man, but nothing in the clay had, not even a hint of life in it. God had to provide the life for the man that He created, and that life was in the breath of God that went into Adam’s nostrils and became blood in him, for as Moses told us, the life is in the blood. All humans are made in the image of God and worthy of redemption because they carry within them a life that is eternal. The Scriptures teach that the phrase ‘The Finger of God’ refers to something so great and awesome in nature that only an all-powerful and all-knowing God could accomplish. Psalm 150:6 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” In your breath is the eternal life that God has given to you and God wants it back, not for Himself for He is not in need of anything. He is a God who loves to add goodness and to multiply blessings to all His children, but first we need to receive Jesus as our Savior so that we will be sure to spend eternity with Him. The life is in the breath and the blood is activated by the words that we confess: Romans 10:9-11 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, ‘Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.’” Previous Next Home

MANIFESTING THE GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES To teach believers how to manifest the great and precious promises of God by gaining true knowledge of His Word, living a life of godliness, and walking in the authority and power of the Holy Spirit through repentance, renouncement, and active faith. < Back MANIFESTING THE GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES Minister Lisa Kane September 28, 2023 Objective: To teach believers how to manifest the great and precious promises of God by gaining true knowledge of His Word, living a life of godliness, and walking in the authority and power of the Holy Spirit through repentance, renouncement, and active faith. Synopsis: In this message, Lisa Kane emphasizes the importance of building faith upon the Word of God as revealed in 2 Peter 1. She begins by committing to teach using the King James Version along with Hebrew and Greek root word studies from Strong’s Concordance, to ensure accuracy and deeper understanding of scripture. The teaching underscores that no prophecy is of private interpretation but is inspired by the Holy Spirit, making God’s Word self-validating across the writings of the prophets and apostles. Knowledge of the Word is revealed as one of the key promises believers must manifest—without it, as Hosea 4:6 warns, God’s people are destroyed. This knowledge leads to life and godliness, producing a chain of growth: diligence → faith → virtue → knowledge → self-control → patience → godliness → kindness → love. Lisa explains that manifesting God’s promises means living actively and fruitfully, not passively or barren. Believers are called to walk in excellence, discernment, and holiness, avoiding corruption and longing for worldly things. By living in this way, Christians can walk without error or stumbling, contrary to the common belief that falling into sin is inevitable. The message also highlights the practical steps of repentance and renouncement. Repentance restores safety, deliverance, and cleansing, while renouncement disowns sinful patterns, declaring to heaven and earth a decisive break from dishonesty and craftiness. Manifesting God’s truth allows believers to live as walking testimonies, visibly transformed and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Finally, Lisa assures that when believers walk in God’s promises, they enter into His everlasting kingdom, partaking in the divine nature and reflecting His glory. This life of godliness is both a present testimony and an eternal inheritance, rooted in Christ’s grace, truth, and authority. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this on Thursday, September 28th, 2023. Welcome. This message is called Manifesting the Great and Precious Promises. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your anointing. We thank you for your knowledge. And we thank you that we have an understanding of your scriptures that we can manifest those promises that you've given us and live by those promises. Father God, thank you in the glorious name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. So before I delve into here, I want to explain a change I'm going to start doing going forward from this day on in this teaching. I am going to start using the King James version of the Bible versus the New King James Version, which is what I've been using simply because I want to get the scripture in its original text. The original interpretation of the Hebrew and the Greek was the King James version into English and it is the closest meaning. On top of that, I'm also going to take key words in every scripture and I'm going to show you the root word in the Hebrew, what it also could mean. Meaning, if there's a word that says power, I'm going to give you some other uh words in the Hebrew or the Greek of what that word means. All of that is going to come from the Strong's dictionary. Okay? Hebrew and Greek. Now also the way I'm going to do it on my slides when I present scripture parentheses and the words italicized within those parentheses will be those extra words. The bold word will be the original word that was used in the King James version. Okay? And I'm going to try to read the scripture as without it with without those extra words and then with those extra words so that you can get the full complete message out of this. Amen. And reminder, judge me. Judge my teachings. Am I teaching from the scripture? Am I taking it out of context? Am I manipulating it? Am I biased? You judge. You look at it. And you know what? Whether you accept it or reject it, always go to God and always ask him for his uh for his wisdom and his understanding. He will show you that his knowledge. Amen. And then pray for me, please. I could always use the prayer. Amen. All right, let's go to our opening scripture here. We're going to focus a lot on second Peter 1 today. Um, but let's go to the end of what second Peter said. This is our opening scriptures. Knowing this verse that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man, but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. What I want you to see here is the word of God and its truth. It is knowledge. And the knowledge is one of the promises that we have to being active and manifesting the Holy Spirit's promises, God's promises to us. So, let's delve a little further into the scripture, the word knowing there. And I just did a teaching on this a handful of weeks ago, a a deep teaching the word k n o w simply to show you that there are many there's like five six different interpretations of the word know in the Greek alom well here this one simply means knowing it's to absolutely know so you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt you know you know you know says here you know that first knowing this first that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private it. Look at that. Pertaining to self interpretation or an interpretation just simply means explanation. Self-interpretation. That's not what the Bible is about. It Peter is clearly telling us this because see, we're going to be dealing with knowledge. So, he's telling us straight up, no prophecy of the scripture is of any self-interpretation. meaning that everything that you read in the Bible will interpret itself in one place or another between the different authors that wrote. And these different authors were men. Look at this. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man, but holy men of God spake as they were moved. That word moved is they they they bared the word that was given to them. They could feel it and they carried it and they carried it to paper to the papyrus to really write it down and it was filled with the anointing of the Holy Ghost or holy means sacred and ghost means air or spirit. So the sacred spirit, sacred air, I would go with Holy Ghost because that is Christianity. If you if you get into more of the air, the the sacred air, the sacred spirit, it can be interpreted into many different other ways and you got to be very very careful and cautious with that. But the reason I wanted to show you the scripture is because we're going to be talking about knowledge. It's one of the promises and it's through that knowledge that we will be manifesting these promises that God has given us. Amen. So, let's go to second Peter. Uh we're going to start here in verse three in chapter one. according to his as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. Okay, let's pause here in verse three. I want you to see something here is very very neat and very powerful. This is why I wanted to change my teaching technique to this this methodology says according as his divine power. Look at that word power means force and another word is miracles. God performs miracles, right? So according as his divine miracles, see how you can bring this in in that way. Hath given uh unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. His power, the force of God, his miracles is what gives us life and godliness. question is whether you believe those miracles, whether you believe that force that that power. That's what it is. And and you know, and don't fall for the force is with you kind of starter wars kind of thing here, but simply to put that there is the Holy Ghost who is moving and he he manifest in us his anointing and we will under we will recognize it and know it as a believer in Christ. When Jesus was baptized and he came up and the dove landed on him, the anointing landed on him. That dove manifested, it it showed everyone around John specifically the one writing that in the Bible showed that this is what I was supposed to see. I see it. I saw he is an eyewitness to it. And that goes to show that the Holy Ghost came Jesus at this time. And the two of them work together. So, and notice this is until life in godliness. How should you live your life? Life, it should be a long life of blessings and godliness. You should be living a godly life. And I know what a lot of churches would teach you is that we're still human. So, we're going to still air. We're still going to fall. We're going to still um mess up because we're in the flesh. Well, I'm going to show you here that we can manifest this godliness and not air or fall. That's what's so powerful about this. But notice it says through the knowledge of him. We got to go look at Hosea real quick because I want you to see something here. Hosea's 4 and6. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because thou hast rejected knowledge. I will also reject thee that thou shalt be no priest to me. seen. Thou hast forgotten the law of thy God. I will also forget thy children. This is how important this is. Knowledge. Now, let's let's break it down. Says, "My people are destroyed." Look at that. To be dumb or silent. If you're not manifesting godliness in your life, you are silent or dumb because you're not in knowledge of the word of God in which you should be walking in life and godliness. You catching this? This is very very powerful. For lack of knowledge, look at what this word knowledge. This is Old Testament. It's Hebrew. Cunning aware. Every Christian believer out there should be very cunning. You should know exactly what to pray for. You should be aware of your surroundings and you should know what word of God you should be applying to that situation. What scripture this is something you should know. This is your knowledge that you have. This is what gives you life and life abundantly is the knowledge of the Holy Spirit because thou hast rejected knowledge. Spurn. Did you say spurn or refuse? You're refusing the knowledge. you're refusing to go read the Bible or here's another way to look at this. I and I'm not trying to bring in a self-interpretation. This is an actual fact. People go to church to the pastor or they call up a renowned pastor and they rather hear his interpretation instead of opening the Bible and reading the scriptures for themselves. And what's happening a lot in in the churches right now is you can have your Bible on your phone device or device, whatever device you have and they will put the scriptures up there on the screen for you and it is so lovely. However, is that the scripture? Is it appropriate? You need to be the judge and you need to be learning and thinking am I learning correctly what is being interpret interpretated here or am I being misled. You see that is your responsibility as a recipient of listening to the word of God being taught. The same here this is why I told you to judge me. you know, are you getting the scripture presented to you properly or has it been, how should I say, uh, more like a a rundown version of it. We do need to watch out for Bible versions. NIV is a great example. How many scriptures are missing in that version? And people are missing out on that. So, we have to be aware of this. We have to be knowledgeable because that's what we need to manifest. And as a teacher of the word of God, I need to be manifesting this. This is one of the reasons why I'm choosing to change my format here. But it's just so interesting that you would be dumb or silent because you don't have your canning awareness because you're refusing the knowledge because you're you and then oh and the consequences of that is you won't be a priest. So I've taught that we are priests over over our households, over our children, over our workplace and everything. And to be that priest, you have to have knowledge of the word of God. But look, he says, I will reject ye thee that thou shalt be no priest to me. You know what is a priest? It says here it's from or out of meaning you're you're separated from the world and you mediate in religious services. So you cannot manifest that godliness life and godliness that second Peter talked about if you're rejecting the word of God or you're interpreting it your own way and not having validation within scripture. And then there's even further consequence since you're now because you're being oblivious to this, oblivious to the law of God, to his word, you he says, "I will forget thy children." There's a consequence to your children for you not having this knowledge and not living this godliness because they're going to see you in who you truly are of the world. You see, you can put on your face when you get to church and be, "Oh, I am being godly." But when you get home, your children see the truth and there's a consequence to that. So going back to um second Peter, let's go on to verse four. So knowledge, life and godliness through knowledge, which is the knowing of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. Excellence. We should be excellent in what we stand for with life and godliness. It's a manifestation of his promise, virtue. This is what we should be living as. Go to verse four. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises. I don't need to interpret that and I didn't put any extra words, but great and precious promises, which is what this message is about. That by these by these great and precious promises, ye might be partakers of the divine. Guess what that word divine translates to? Godhead, the divine nature having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. You got to see this. Watch the explanation of this. This is awesome. Partakers of the godhead growing, having escaped the corruption that is in this world or the orderly arrangement of things. You see, things are corrupt. Now, this world belongs to the devil. We know that and we live separate from the world. They need to be separate from the world. The world is longing. Look at this. They're through lust. They're longing. Remember Lot's wife coming out of Sodom and Gomorrah. She longed and looked back and she was turned into a pillar of salt. The world is in that corruption. And we should not be in that lust or that longful, that longing for that stuff. We should be separate. Meaning, it shouldn't be impacting you at all. You should be manifesting life and godliness, not longing. Big difference. And this is going to also show you how to this is going to talk to the conscience of the minds of men. We're going to see that in scripture here. Let's continue on in second Peter in chapter 1. We're in verse 5 now. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith, reliance upon Christ for salvation, virtue, excellence, and to virtue knowledge. Okay, there's like a chain reaction of life and godliness of these great and precious promises that we have. So one, giving all diligence. This is something we need to do. We need to be eager. Eager is another word for giving of all diligence. Giving of all eagerness. Add to your faith. What's faith? Relying upon Christ for salvation. Jesus is the son of God. So I should be eager to rely with to add it to my faith. my eagerness should be adding to my faith, giving me that excellent uh understanding of the word and to knowledge. So the excellence should lead to knowledge. So there's this there's like a map that takes us right to it. Says diligence to faith to virtue to knowledge. Then it goes further. says, "Now, and to knowledge, temperance, which is self-control, and to temperance, patience, which is hopeful endurance, and to patience." There's your godliness. Do you see the path to get to godliness starts with you being eager? It starts with you having faith. It starts with you having the excellence of the knowledge. And it starts and then it goes with self-control. And it looks like you got patience. You're hoping. You can't see it, but you got patience. You're hoping. And then you have that godliness, that pause. All hell's breaking loose, but you can just say, "Peace." And and that's the authority and the power you have. And you get to manifest that through his great promises that are given to us. Then it goes even further because when you start walking in your godliness, this is verse seven. You have kindness. You love the people around you. Now you want to save them. You have a heart for them. And you want them to see God the same way you do. Oh my goodness, this is awesome. And to brotherly kindness. Look at this. Charity, affection, or benevolence, desire to do good. In other words, uh you see somebody like a widow who's in a situation and you realize they need groceries or they need their lawn mowed or their house painted or some things worked on. You desire to do good. It transforms you when you walk in the promises that are given here, these great and precious promises, because now you're walking in godliness and it is manifesting itself around you in all the acts that you do. Look at what else uh Peter says. This is uh second Peter 1:8. For if these things be in you, so that was that whole list we just talked about, and abound, meaning they're manifesting. They're coming out more now. They make you that ye shall neither be what? Barren. Look at that word barren means inactive. Meaning, so now you are actively involved in ministry as you're pouring out the godliness from within. You're not even, look at this, nor unfruitful in the knowledge. Look at what the word, this word knowledge means, recognition, full discernment of our Lord Jesus Christ. So now in this godliness, let's read that again because I think it's powerful. You're abounding more. You are not inactive. You are active. You have more of this manifestation coming out of the knowledge. You're recognizing Jesus Christ. You're discerning Jesus Christ, the son of God, in your life, and he's coming out and he's leading you, and you are walking in his steps. In case you're wondering, I knocked over my box of tissues. But continuing on, look at verse nine. But he that lackth these things is blind. What's that word mean? Opaque, as if smoke, and cannot see a far off. and hath forgotten to take. That's what that word forgotten means. That he was purged, washed off, cleansed from his old sins. That he forgot that he was saved. He was cleansed from his old sins. You see, when you are not entering to finding the secret place with the Lord, the entrance of that, to find the knowledge, guess what? You're forgetting. What is the word forgotten? To take. You're not taking your part in living life and godliness, the manifestation of that to those around you. This is why it's so important that you go learn about God, the secret place. You need to be opening up the Bible. You need to be re uh reading it, interpreting it with the Holy Spirit so that and interpreting it against scripture against scripture so that you can manifest this godliness so people can see what desire of good you have and that you're living it. It's a walking testimony is what it is. And it and then you're not blind. You're seeing you see you're being cunning. You're being aware of everything around you. That's very, very powerful. Look at verse 10. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence, speed, effort. Now, that's a different diligence than the one before. If we want, we can go back. Let's go. Let let me take the scriptures back with you. Let's go look at the diligence from the beginning. Speed and eagerness. You see that? And then diligence, speed, and effort. This is why we want to look at the word speed and eagerness. We were eager earlier. Now look, he says effort. Our effort in the word of God. Our effort. You see this? Are you getting that? Give effort to make your calling. You are giving the effort. You're opening the Bible. You're taking action. You're not inactive. You are going to in you're going into the knowledge of the word of God to make your calling and I love the word calling. The other word is invitation. You are invited to teach the word of God. You are invited to share your testimony with everyone. You are invited. This is your calling. You are invited. and election. Divine selection chosen. That's what this election. We're selected. We are elected. Chosen. Sure. For if you do these things, ye shall never fall, trip, or error. There's the scripture that tells us we can't mess up when we're walking godliness. Yet, you've got preachers teaching you we're flesh. We're going to mess up. Now, we if you're going to mess up, of course, you just start again. You're going to repent. I'm going to show you how to fix all this and how to make sure this manifests. But if it is manifesting within you and you're living this life, you should not be erring and you should not be tripping because you should be giving it to the Lord. Now, let's read the scripture without the extra words in there because I really want to make sure it's clear for you. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you ye shall never fall. So now let's read it with the extra words. Wherefore the rather brethren give speed and effort to make your invitation and divine selection your choseness sure for if you do these things you shall never trip or air. So do you see how you should never Peter says the Bible says you should never trip or air. You should never fall. Hallelujah. Because the manifestation of the knowledge of the word of God is coming out of you in all that you do. And it is witnessing to everyone because they're seeing you not fail. They're seeing the genu. That's another thing. They see you genuine. They trust now what you are, who you are because your actions are going to be proving factual and worthy. They're going to see, hey, you went and helped that lady. I need your help. And they will be there. What can I do for you? I want to make things easier for you. I have a desire to do good for you, to do good for God, but I'm going to do it manifested in your life. You see how that works? This is how that works. Look at verse 11. For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now, I know Paul talks about rewards and a lot of the scriptures talk about reward. This is alluding to that. I'm not and I'm not going to go into all of that because that's another teaching very long term. But look at how be minister unto you copiously, richly into perpetual kingdom, your royalty of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ. Let's read that right now. I'm going to read it with the extra words right now. For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you copiously, richly into the perpetual royalty of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ. Now let's read without the extra words. For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ. It takes you all the way into the heavenly realm, your royalty because you are part of the royalty line now. You are adopted into grafted into the holy line, the holy lineage of Israel from David on down. You are through Christ a brother and a sister in the Lord. And now you have, look, it for so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord Savior. It it goes on for When you live in your life in godliness like this, it pays off for eternity is one way of looking at that. Verse 12, wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance. So Peter, I want to get the scripture. Peter is reminding us of this. This is something that we should already be doing and living. Obviously, I'm teaching this. We're not. So this is why he's saying I wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things. In other words, he's saying you need to be reminded of these things though you know though ye know them and be established in the present truth. See he knows you already know them. You've already was when you it's like remembering your first love when you first got saved. The manifestation of his holiness was powerful and awesome and your life changed and then it got rooted. Then all hell breaks loose. And you know, we go through that as a Christian in Christ because we have an enemy prowling like a a de lion trying to devour devour us and to destroy us. But because we know this now because we're sure we're firm in his foundation of his word, in his knowledge that look at it this way. Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye to see them and be confirmed in the at hand or to be near truth. The at hand truth. Ain't that awesome? God God is word. The word of God is absolutely amazing. You should thirst and hunger for it. And I promise you, delving into the word description and definition of each of these words makes it that much more better. Amen. Look at verse 16 and we're still in second Peter chapter 1. For we have not followed cunningly devised fables. Now, the reason I'm bringing these three scriptures in, I want you to see something here. Peter is sharing his witness testimony. Because he's a witness, we can believe his word. And that's what he's saying here. For we have not followed cunningly devised fables when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honor and glory. When there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, this is my beloved son. whom I am well pleased and this voice which came from heaven we heard when we were with him in the holy mount. He is testifying to this event. So in essence the scripture is asking you do you believe or not? Do you reject this message or do you accept it? Can you live a life in godliness? Absolutely. Now how because let's go to the how and see the manifestation of godliness in your life where you will not trip and fall. You will not error. You will not fall because the Holy Spirit is what's going to be leading you and guiding you and directing you in this. Amen. Starting with Romans 11:6. And if by grace then it is no more of works. Otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace. Otherwise, work is no more work. Now, let's read it with the extra words. And if by grace or gratitude, divine influence upon the heart, we know the word divine means the Godhead. So, this is God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit influencing our heart. This is grace. Because see, grace comes from God. Understand salvation is from the Lord. It's not us. We can't work for it. So he says it comes from God. It's coming from the divine, the Godhead influence on our heart. It's not of works. What does that word works mean? Toil. You do not have to toil. You do not have to work for your grace. God gave it to you already. It is given. Otherwise, grace is no more grace. But if it be were of works, then it is no more grace. Otherwise, work is no more work. You see, we don't have to work for it. And we don't boast for our working. to see if it was work, then some of us can be better at it than others. But it is all equal and fair as grace for everyone. Look at what it says here now in Romans 10. We're going to read verses 12 and 13. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek. For the same Lord overall is rich unto all that call upon him. Verse 13, for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Now, what I want you to see here is very, very powerful. Call upon. You need to call upon. You You're the one that's opening the Bible. You're the one who needs to call upon Jesus Christ, the son of God. You speak it. This is reaffirming it. Says, let's read it with the extra words now. For the same Lord over all is become wealthy. God becomes wealthy. Did you know that if you go to Malachi and I'll let you do some homework as I like to teach you, we are a jewelry that he's forming us into a piece of jewel that he wants to wear us. We're precious. When you look at a diamond and you want to wear your rings, your necklaces is precious. It is refined. It is beautiful. Well, that is what God is doing to us and preparing us for that. And that is what life and godliness is all about. So take a look at this. Uh he becomes wealthy. God becomes wealthy unto all that call upon him. Look what that call upon to entitle to invoke him. You invoke the name of Jesus. You call on the name of Jesus. Look at what it says. Now let's look at the extras. For whosoever invokes the name of the Lord shall be remember that word saved means safe delivered. I have a lot of people who email me on a almost daily basis now in where they're saying they're not safe. They've got things being thrown at them. Their mind is under torment. They can't sleep. They're being tortured. Well, guess what? This message is for you because look at what it says. When you invoke the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the son of God, you shall be safe, delivered. You see, saved also implies eternity. Wonderful. But safe implies the here and now in whatever situation you're feeling or being tormented about. And delivered means from the inside out. Now the manifestation of his godliness that he places in you is what comes out. That is amazing. So where am I going with this? Because now I want you to see we are talking about repentance and renouncement. Now I'm going to say something here very boldly. I've noticed this in the people I've been ministering to uh through email with the the House of Faith Ministries. Um I think all of them have always said I've repented already. I want you to understand something about repentance. Yes, repentance is wonderful. That sets your salvation in in motion. But repentance leads to salvation, leads to deliverance, leads to being safe. So when you repent again, it sets everything safe. I want you to see that. I want you to get that. This is why. Go to Job chapter one. Every time, and I I share this usually when I'm talking to someone who says that they've already repented. What Job did is when his kids would have these parties, they would forget or he he was worried. He'd be there the next morning and he'd be um sacrificing the bulls, rams, what have you. And he said, "And just in case they cursed God while they were partying," he would do that because that's how much he loved them. But it was repentance for them over again. Look at repentance. First John 1:9, if we confess, look at covenant. And it's another word. If we co covenant our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sin, lay aside and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, injustice. If you think you're being treated unjustly or you know, you've you've got something going against you, it's probably because you're walking in unrighteousness, which is what injustice means. you're not walking right. You have something going against you. You're not manifesting life and godliness. So here he's saying if we confess our sins, we ascent. We realize we had a covenant with these sins. He God is faithful. Look at this. Trustworthy and just to forgive us our sins. Look at verse uh Romans 10:9 as I always use this verse. that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe to have faith in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. There's that safe and delivered. It starts with confession, repentance. So you want to live the life of life and godliness that second Peter is talking about. You want to manifest those great and precious promises from God where you do not trip. You do not air. You do not fall. You walk a life that everyone looks around you and says, "What are you doing? How did you do that?" It starts with confession. And it says you will be safe. Thou shalt be safe. Thou shalt be delivered. All that stuff comes out of you. He lay aside. He forgives you. He lay aides. He is faithful. You can trust him to do this. Do you trust him? How many people think they can lose their salvation? If they think that, they don't trust God. Next is don't do it again. You got to renounce. Look at 2 Corinthians 4:2. But have renounced. You got to disown your sins. Disown them. And I'm not going to do it anymore, Lord. This is what renouncement is all about. You are effectively saying to God's throne room, to every angel and to every demon that is listening, you are telling him, "I'm not doing it anymore." In the name of Jesus, the son of God, when you renounce, you disown that sin. You let it go. That is your action. It is a confession of the mouth. Look what it says here. But have renounced, disowned the hidden things of dishonesty. Dishonesty is a ser God hates lying. So there are levels of lying and he hates them. You have to be very cautious. If you're letting little white lies slip out to make your life easier, I promise you, you start a cycle where your life will not be easy because of the lie that you said. Not walking in craftiness. See, you're disowning this now. But have renounced, disowned the hidden things of dishonesty. not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully. Remember earlier when I said in Hosea, we're talking about being cunning and aware, not walking in craftiness. Have renounced, disowned the hidden things of dishonesty, having renounced, disowned, not walking in craftiness. Meaning, you should be walking in your cunning awareness of the word of God. You should be able to see the enemy and fully disarm him with scripture because the knowledge is one of the blessings, one of the benefits that you get to manifest in godliness. Amen. Handling the word of God deceitfully. That goes to teachers and preachers or those theologians that are writing the original like NIV version. These people, they've got a problem. They handled the word of God deceitfully. But he says when you renounce it, you let it go. You disown it. But by manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. You see, now this is where we do it. We renounce it. We let it go. We don't fail. We don't fall. We don't tr trip. We don't air. But we manifest. What's that word manifest mean? We exhibit. We express of the truth. approving ourselves to every man's conscience or their perception in the sight of God. Meaning, even men will see you holy as in the sight of God and acknowledge you Previous Next Home

WHAT ARE SOME CHARACTER TRAITS OF UNBELIEF The objective of this message, “What Are Some Character Traits of Unbelief” (House of Faith Ministries, January 11, 2024), is to help believers identify and confront areas in their lives where unbelief may still exist. Though one may profess faith in Christ, unbelief can surface in subtle ways—through lack of trust, embracing deception, or walking in disobedience. By examining scripture, the teaching aims to guide listeners in recognizing these traits, replacing them with faith, and strengthening their relationship with God through trust, truth, obedience, prayer, and worship. < Back WHAT ARE SOME CHARACTER TRAITS OF UNBELIEF Minister Lisa Kane January 11, 2024 Objective: The objective of this message, “What Are Some Character Traits of Unbelief” (House of Faith Ministries, January 11, 2024), is to help believers identify and confront areas in their lives where unbelief may still exist. Synopsis: Lisa Kane opens the message with prayer, asking for God’s guidance, strength, and revelation as His word is applied to daily living. The central scripture is Matthew 17:20–21, where Jesus explains that the disciples could not cast out a demon because of their unbelief. From this foundation, the teaching highlights three key character traits of unbelief: Lack of Trust – Drawing from Proverbs 3:5–6, believers are reminded not to lean on their own understanding but to fully trust in the Lord’s wisdom and promises. Trusting God requires rejecting reliance on human reasoning or circumstances and embracing His guidance. Believing Lies Instead of Truth – Using 2 Thessalonians 2:11–3, Lisa emphasizes how deception can seduce believers into accepting falsehoods. She contrasts worldly teachings—such as evolution or cultural compromises—with the unchanging truth of Scripture. The lesson underscores that all spiritual discernment must be measured against the Bible. Disobedience – Disobedience is presented as both a symptom and a root of unbelief. Through Matthew 8:5–13, the faith of the centurion is contrasted with unbelief. His recognition of Jesus’ authority illustrates that true belief is tied to obedience and submission to Christ’s lordship. The message further explains how prayer, fasting, and personal worship outside of church walls deepen faith and provide authority over spiritual challenges. Believers are encouraged to repent daily, seek God’s presence, and strengthen their conviction by anchoring their reasoning in Scripture rather than in worldly voices. Lisa concludes by urging listeners to reflect: Are they struggling with trust? Are they deceived by lies? Are they resisting obedience? She exhorts them to recognize unbelief as sin, repent, and pursue the righteousness and faith that enable them to walk in victory and intimacy with Christ. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and I'm recording this message on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Welcome. This message is called, What are some character traits of unbelief. This is going to be a good message. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for the anointing of your word and your presence. We thank you that your word does not return void. We give you the glory, the honor, the praise, and the strength. And we worship you, Father God. And we pray and ask for understanding in this word. We pray and ask for strength to apply it to our lives. For we are more than conquerors. And we pray and ask, Father God, that we recognize the deficiencies within ourselves. And that we press forward into your presence, improving in your holiness and righteousness. Thank you, Father God, in the name of Jesus. Amen. And amen. Okay, let's go to our opening scripture here. This is called, "What are some character traits of unbelief?" We're going to start here in Matthew 17:20-21. And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief or faithlessly, for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, which is which means persuasion, credence, moral conviction, as a grain of a mustard seed or of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, a mountain rising, lifting itself, it's we'll get into that. remove or to change place hence to yonder place and it shall remove and nothing not even one shall be impossible or unable unto you. How be it this kind go out goeth not out by prayer but by prayer and fasting or prayers worship and fasting is absinence voluntary lack of food. My goal for this teaching is to help you recognize some areas that you may have unbelief in. There's areas we believe in, but there are areas we lack and we don't believe in. In other words, we can be a believer in Christ, but still believe a scientist talking about evolution. And I want to share this with you because I want you to understand there are areas within ourselves that we can change to better improve our lives and and help us get closer with God. And sometimes we need to recognize this. Now, to put context into this opening scripture here, just know that this is where the disciples were unable to cast out a demon. And so, they had to give this one over to Jesus. And they asked Jesus, "Why couldn't we cast out the demons?" And he says, "You have no belief. You're you're you're lacking belief. You you don't believe. If you have faith, which is the word faith there means to persuade, credence, moral conviction. You're going to see that in this message. How to convince God you got faith. So, this is a very good message and I want you to grasp a hold of this. Um, and that mountain because when you say this unto your mountain, and a mountain is rising, lifting itself, it's it's like a an issue or a situation that keeps getting bigger and bigger and looms right over you. you know, mountain versus a molehill. It's really a molehill or it isn't even a mountain for most people, but for you it is. Well, this is if you have faith, you can take that mountain and move it from here to there. And that's what Jesus is pointing out to the disciples. And of course, he had to go further because he wanted them to understand that this type of demon is cast out through prayer and fasting. Prayer is worship, meaning you got to worship the Lord. And fasting is abstinence or voluntary lack of food. And sometimes we need to fast. Sometimes we need to worship the Lord. And here's the thing is a lot of people worship the Lord at church, but you don't see them worshiping the Lord in their home. So part of your home activities with the Lord, not just staying in the secret place, but yes, being in the secret place, but you need to have your worship music on. you need to be worshiping because that's what's going to give you the authority and the power to overcome it. Also, there's something about worship and I I I want I've been wanting to teach on this for some time and maybe I'll get into it finally, but I'm not going to do it in this message. But there's something deep inside that happens when you're worshiping the Lord. Amen. All right. Now, there are three I'm going to identify three character traits here in this teaching. There are probably many more. I'm just going with three. I've got to watch my um time on my teaching. I don't want to get too too long. But look, I'm identifying three traits. So, one is no trust. Second, believe the lie instead of the truth. And the third is disobedience. So, these are three traits of unbelief that I'm going to talk about in this message. No trust. Okay, let's start with no trust. Hm. Let's see what the scripture has to say about it. And then we'll I'll go delve into this deeply. Let's start with Proverbs 3:5 and 6. Trust. And the word trust there is be confident, sure, and bold. And who do you trust? In the Lord. Who do you have your confidence in? In the Lord. Who are you sure of? Who do you boldly have confidencees? Is in the Lord. With all thine heart. Your heart is your feelings, your will, your intellect. and lean not unto thine own understanding or your own knowledge. Let's let's stop there for a moment because I want you to get a hold of what this is talking about. You know how you sometimes get a little scratchy throat? As you can tell, I got a little bit going on real right here. And sometimes you say, "Well, yeah, I think I'm coming down with cold. Um, yeah, I think I'm going to be sick." And here's the thing is you you don't have to be. And in fact, this is where I'm at right now. Uh we're we're being spiritually attacked right now. But you know what? I gave it to the Lord and I'm going to keep moving and doing my thing. So the devil's having no effect on me whatsoever. But here's the thing. When you think you're going to get sick, and you know you are. Here's the thing. He says, don't lean on your own knowledge. I remember one time um this is after CO uh this I had gotten CO in that December. So, this is a few months later, probably around May, give or take, and I needed to do a day travel to Los Angeles for my work. And I was going to be traveling on Tuesday. This was a Monday, and I was working from home that Monday. And I had a fever. And I remember taking a nap during my lunchtime. And I'm thinking, I don't have time to be sick because especially after the time of COVID, this is still that that point if you're running a fever, you're doing this. that I'm thinking, "Oh god, you know, I need to go on this day trip. I needed to do this. This was for my career." And I'm like, "I need to do this. I can't just wimp out and say, "Well, now I'm sick. Forget it." No, no, no. I had to go. So, I just told my body, I told the Lord, I told anyone who was willing to listen, I'm not sick. I don't have time to be sick. You know, I got up that next morning, had no fever, went and did my thing, and I moved on, and I never got sick. And that's what the scriptur is trying to teach us is that we don't have to accept what we think we know. We can actually change it. Well, that's part of trust. Do you trust in the Lord's healing, in the Lord's knowledge, in the Lord and the scriptures that he tells us, or do we trust in what we think we know? Because it it is a fact. We would get sick. But we don't have to. And there's the part that we don't know. And this is why the scripture clearly tells us, don't lean on our own knowledge. Don't lean on our own understanding. Verse six, in all thy ways, and that's your road, your course of life, acknowledge. And what that word acknowledge means to know, observe, care, recognize him and he shall direct or straighten even right thy path which is your welltrodden road or caravan. He's going to keep you on the right road. Keep you on the right straight path because you're acknowledging because you know, you observe, you care, you recognize him. You're putting him first. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all the and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33. Very, very important that we understand what the scriptur is telling us. These are different tactics than what we're used to. Because see, we walk in the flesh. We see the flesh. We know the flesh. But what we have to learn to know is the spirit. So, how do you know what the spirit is and what the spirit is going on? You've got to find out in the scriptures. And the more time you spend with God in the secret place, the more he teaches you how to overcome and fight this. You know, as you watch my teachings, and I've been doing this for now a handful of years, several years, and what you're seeing is my progressiveness, my progression in the Lord. You can see the strength improvement, the more overcoming and the more spiritual awareness I'm become, which is allowing me to teach better than what I had done in the past. Amen. So, how do you do? So, let's continue on with scripture to see what else it says. Romans 15:12, and again, Isaiah, which is Isaiah, saith, there shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to rain over to be first. That's what reign over. Be first seek ye first the kingdom of God. the Gentiles. In him shall the Gentiles trust or to expect and confide in him. So let's read this again and again. Isas saith there shall be a root of Jesse and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles. And he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles. In him shall the Gentiles trust. That's what we are. If you're a believer in Christ and you were not born and raised in the Jewish community, you are adopted into the Jewish community because you became a believer in Christ. Christ is Jewish. Okay? Jesus is Jew. And so, we become adopted into that community. So, we're part of that, but we're called Gentiles because we're technically foreigners to we we weren't born in it, but we're adopted. And as far as God's concerned, we're part of that. Amen. So he's saying Paul as he's writing this in the Romans, he's saying that there's going to be a group of people that are going to trust the Lord. That's prophecy over you and me today. Trusting in the Lord with what we have. Hallelujah. Keep that in mind that this is what has been prophesied over us to trust. So do you want to fulfill prophecy and trust in the Lord? So you got to realize that you don't know everything. You don't understand everything. But if you trust in God, he will provide the everything that you're missing. Amen. Amen. So that's bullet number one. That's trust. Now let's look at a second character trait that I'm identifying as part of unbelief. And that's to believe the lie versus the truth. And that's kind of crazy. So let's look at this. We're going to go into 2 Thessalonians 2:11. And for this cause God shall send or dispatch them strong delusion, which is an energetic fraudulence that they should believe or have faith in a lie, a falsehood. There's a lot of people that currently believe a lie right now and they're not believing the truth and they can't understand how we're not believing with them. Seriously, just take a look at Trump. There are people that are so baffled by the people, you know, that support Trump. They just can't figure it out. They think that we're believing the lie when it's actually the opposite. And they just don't understand that. And so, what do you do? You know, these are people you've got to pray for because we need to pray for that. But this is why I'm trying to show you how to recognize that if you're under a strong delusion or not. So, let's continue on in scripture. We're going to break this down here. 2 Thessalonians 2:es 1-3. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come except there shall there come a falling away first. and that man of sin be revealed, the son of predition. Now, the reason I wanted to read it that way without the extra words is I wanted you guys to understand and see how this this um deception kind of works. The Thessalonians thought the rapture already happened. And so Paul is trying to explain to them, listen, it hasn't happened yet. You see, communication back then was very challenging and difficult and it could take months before you heard news of anything. So, they were confused in that moment. And so, Paul was writing to them to diffuse that. Well, even today, look at what our media is doing. Um, they're obstructing us. They're trying to keep things from us. This is why I added one of the new empowering prayers to pray for journalists and the media outlets and the media outputs because we need truth in this. And if you notice, there are some um news articles that are coming through that are saying, "Well, if you don't believe in God, I saw one journalist actually, cannot believe he said this." He goes, "You have to know there has to be a God." And I mean, he flat out said that in a a news story that he was talking about, but this is the deception that's going on. In other words, we should be able to see it. So, for example, using evolution again, I I don't know why I'm using that, but I think it's very pertinent. If you go see Ken Ham's ministry, uh, Gen Answers in Genesis, or you see the Creation Museum, or you go see the replica of the of Noah's Arc in Kentucky over there. Very powerful teachings that he's got coming through there to help you understand what the scientific community is doing and why they do what they do. Well, you know, some pastors fell for un because to them, you know, we trust our scientists. Here comes that trust factor of unbelief. This is where we have to be very careful. We think the scientists are doing their due diligence to be good for the world, to show how the world operates. But little do they know, when they don't have Christ in them, they're being manipulated by the demonic spiritual influences that are around in the world. Amen. So here they brought in the teaching of evolution been brought in um well well before Darwin but they've been bringing it in and it got popular at that time which there was a lot of people doing demonic stuff in the the 1800s there but anyways it's historical stuff if you want to go check it out but this teaching came out pastors tried to make it fit into the Bible into Genesis and into well maybe it took this long for God to get to Adam and Eve. No, the Bible has nothing. It says nothing about evolution. Your rock, your foundation should always be the Bible first. So if you hear a trusted scientist say something that just you you you have to stop and you go, "Well, is that in the Bible?" You need to think this way. You need to learn to say, "Wait a minute. Is it in the Bible?" If it's in the Bible, then maybe it's right. Let me see what the Bible says. And then you compare it to the Bible. But if the Bible says nothing about it, it ain't in the Bible. And that's where this deception comes in. And you have to be very careful. Especially like uh homosexuality. People are like, well, they love each other. Love trumps everything. It's got to be good. And the Bible clearly says it's not. It's it's an abomination to God. So whether you understand that or accept it, then what you have to do to say, "Lord, I don't understand what's going on, but I'm going to be obedient to you. You said it's bad. You said it's an abomination. I'm going to believe you and trust in you." But what a lot of Christians tend to do is, "Well, I think it's right. Forget what God says. I'm going to do what I think is right." Which by the way is where disobedience comes in which is another part of unbelief. But I need you to see how if you are not allowing uh the scripture to come in and be a part of your life and look how how Paul says it here in Romans. He's he's interrogating. He's requesting of the pe of the Thessalonians. He says, "Brethren, by coming of the Lord Jesus and by our gathering together," he's talking about the um rapture that ye be not briefly shaken. See, they were shaken, which is wavered or they agitated. Look, in their intellect intellectually they're thinking it happened because they seduced by that because it seemed convincing whatever they heard that was telling them this. It sounds seductive and truthful that evolution makes sense, but when you actually come down to the nitty-gritty of it, how many vessels go into the eye? If we had to evolve, you would have one vessel, maybe two, maybe three. There's like billions of vessels that come into the eye. One eye. That's one eye. And if oh you got all those vessels in there how did the eye survive with only five? It didn't because that's not how it happened. So we have to be very careful. So the intellect has to be settled with God or see and the intellect was shaken and troubled. Look at this. They they were wailing frightened. But look at this. He says that you not be uh uh shaken in mind or be troubled, neither by spirit nor by word. Oh, maybe that was Holy Spirit telling me something. Well, is it in the Bible? The Holy Spirit will always confirm the Bible. There's nothing new coming out of the word of God. If there's anyone like a prophet coming out saying, "Well, I have a word from the Lord that is timely." It should still be a scripture in the Bible because God's not talking anything new anymore. It's in the Bible. Now, he talks to us with dreams and visions, but everything he says has a root in the Bible. You have to believe that. You have to understand that. And then he says, "Nor by letter from us as that the day of Christ is at hand." And then he says, "Let no man deceive." Look at what the word deceive means. seduce, holy, beguile, which is what I was referring to a moment ago. You see, we cannot Oh, that sounds so appealing. Maybe that is right. Is it in the Bible? You have to be able to understand the Bible and uh seduce, holy, beg you by any means, any It could be an article. It could be them talking to you. For that day shall not come because I'm using this as an example. But look at what he's telling you. He's telling you boldly. There's going to be a fall away, a fall falling away, a defection from truth. Are you in that truth right now? Are or are you not believing that truth? Because see, if you're Look at this. It says, "For that day shall not come except there come a falling away, defection of truth." He's talking about the day of rapture. Don't be deceived and think it already happened if the falling away hasn't happened. And by the way, if you're taking a look at the unbelievers right now and people who are caught up in this deception, you will know that the falling away is beginning to happen. That's where we are in the timeline of end time events. Uh and verse and that man of sin be revealed. So uh take off the cover, disclose the son of predition. That is what's going to happen. So that's what's coming and that has not happened yet. This is that part of believing a lie versus the truth. So if you can get to the root of the word of God, you will always be in truth. You've got to stay at the root of the word of God. Now the third character trait that I'm identifying in this message is disobedience. By the way, having no faith is disobedience, which means you've got to have your belief. Unbelief is no faith. So, if you're going to have belief, you've got to have faith. Faith is what make makes things work. But let me show you in in an event that happened in Jesus day. We're going to read Matthew 8 5-10 and verse 13. And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a a centurion, beseeching or calling near, inviting him, and saying,"Lord, my servant lith at home sick of the Pauly grieviously," which is terribly excessive, tormented. He's in torture and pain. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal, which means adore, relieve, cure him. The centurion answered and said, 'Lord, I'm not worthy or competent, fit, or able that thou shouldest come under my roof. But speak, just say the word. The word meaning said, including your thought only. Just say the word and my servant shall be made whole. For I am under I am a man under authority. I have privilege, force, capacity, freedom. I have sold having soldiers under me. And I say to this man, go and he goeth. And to another, come and he cometh. and to my servant, do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marveled. He wondered. He admired this guy and said to them that followed, to the crowd around him, basically, "Verily, I say unto you, I have not found so great a vast faith." Look what that word faith means. Persuasion, credence, moral conviction. Know not in Israel. And then in verse 13 he says, "And Jesus said unto the centur, go thy way. And as and as thou hast believed, you had your faith, your credit, so be it done unto thee." And his servant was healed or made whole in the selfsame hour. Now, let's go back real quick. I want you to see something very powerful here. Says, "Faith, I did not go back far enough. Let's go back on my screen." Uh, let's see here. Oh my faith. Look at this right here. The word faith, persuasion, credence, moral conviction. That centurion told Jesus, "Listen, I understand you. You know, I have the servant of the sick. I I need him healed." And he's basically saying, "Listen, I know you're a man of authority and you have servants who work for you. And I have I'm a man of authority. I have to report to those higher than me, but I also have people who do my work for me. And basically, I understand the chain of command. And he says, when I tell my servants to do something, they do it. They have to. There's punishment when they don't do it. Same thing with Jesus. He's got his servants who work, they do whatever Jesus tells them to. All the angels will follow Jesus. Demons have to do what Jesus says. There's authority here. So, the the centurion is convincing Jesus, I know what you got. All you have to do is say the word and my servant's going to be healed because you don't have to come to my house. And that's what this word faith means. Persuade, credence, moral conviction. You need to convince Jesus why you think his word should come and and and heal like this centurion did. This is powerful because this tells you what faith is. Which is by the way, when you don't believe, you have no faith. So when you believe, you have faith. But you got to convince Jesus what your faith is made up of. Do you understand the authority he has? Do you believe the authority he has? Are you actually realizing how powerful Jesus is? Have you put aside your unbelief? Do you even recognize that you don't believe? There are things in the world we don't understand. I get that. There's things I don't understand. I don't know this whole Bible. I know very, very little. And that's just enough for me. And again, these teachings are more for me than they are for you. But I'm glad you're joining me in this journey of a lifetime to get to know Jesus and to have belief and to have faith and to be made whole. Hallelujah. This is Jesus. This is whom we serve. So, do we have that belief? Can you put that aside? Because what do you do to do that to help you with that? Let's go to Proverbs. Proverbs 18:10. The name of the Lord is a strong force security tower like a castle or a pulpit or a rostrom. If you don't know what a rostroom or rostroom is, at any platform stage for public speaking, the righteous runth rush run or to make haste run into it and is safe. They're lofty and inacceptable. This is why birds or squirrels, they put their nests so high because they're trying to keep things that can't climb from getting to their offspring. Eagles, they way up there. They put their nest way up there because these are things for safety purposes. So for your safety, for your belief to be strong, you need to be running into the tower, which is your secret place with the Lord. This is where you enter into his presence. You enter into his rightness. You start talking to God and say, "Lord, I need your help with this." There is another scripture that says the centurion came up to him says, "I I believe, but I need you to help me with my unbelief. it. All it takes is going to God and saying, "Lord, I don't understand it." You know, help me understand. And I promise you, if you truly are seeking an answer from the Lord, and you open up the Bible because you prayed about it, you open up the Bible because remember, there's no new words spoken. So, everything you need is in there. You open it up. It doesn't matter where you open it up. You It opens up to a page that you go, "Oh." And he answers what you just asked. And you're blown away. That's how God talks with us. One way of talking with us, he talks with us in many ways. Let's continue on in Ephesians. Ephesians 5 and 6 and verse 11. For this ye you know that no whoreonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man who is an idoltor hath any inheritance, he airship possession in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive, cheat you, or delude you with vain empty words. Remember we were showing how seductive and how you know it you reason it in your mind. You hear what they say, man. Yeah, that evolution seems to make sense, you know, but it's on the surface. You got to check it. You got to go to the Bible and check it. So, this is what Paul is telling us in the Ephesians. Let no man cheat you to lead you with vain empty words. For because of these things cometh the wrath, the violent passion of God upon the children of what? Disobedience. Look at this. Disbelief, unbelief, and have no fellowship. You do not co-articipate. Don't co-articipate with unfruitful, barren works of darkness, shadiness, obscurity, but rather reprove or prove to be false. Admonish them. It's like someone's trying to convince you about evolution and you say, "Well, what about the Bible says nothing about it and they say,"Well, you know, the Bible isn't been proven true. It's never been proven false." You can convincingly show them, hey, well, it doesn't make any sense. Especially when you know the medical anatomy, you know enough to say, hey, you know what? I'm an intellectual individual and I can reason within myself. Do you really think that a pool of drudge, whatever it is that got put together made me an intellectual being? No, no, no. There's something else that had to have made me. You see, now you're reasoning and you're putting it back on them to prove. And of course they can't prove it because it's not biblical. It's not real. This is what we do as righteous being. This is how we keep ourselves safe. This is how we enter in. So question I have for you is do you recognize any of these traits within yourself? Are you having trouble trusting? Are you having trouble believing the lie? Or are you just simply not being able to reason to Jesus, to God whom you're supposed to be praying to? Are you not able to reason in your prayer that I should be healed? You know, maybe you're living in so much sin that you can't even tell God, I I've been doing good, Lord. I shouldn't be sick. By the way, that's really non-scriptural. Look at Job the righteous man and what he went through. But it doesn't matter. See whether you're sick or you see when you are choosing God first, whatever happens at you, you just say I already know God's got it. See, I just taught enter into his rest. So I just enter into his rest now and say, "Ah, he's got it. I don't have to worry about it." This is the power of God. recognize what you're dealing with on the inside and pray and and start with forgiveness. Forgive yourself and ask God to forgive you. Always start with that. And you say, "Well, I' I've repented before. I I don't need to do it again. Job repented for his children every time they had a party." Trust me, if they if Job can do that, you and I can. You know, one of our nightly prayers before we go to bed, my husband and I always repent before the Lord. You just never know. I I want to be right standing with God and I don't want even anything. Go read the seven letters to the churches in Revelation. Jesus identified things they did that was good, but then he would say something like, "But I still have this against you." Well, I don't want God to find anything against me, but I'm in the flesh and I recognize that and I understand that I'm going to do stupid things because that's what we do as humans. But God gave us his salvation. And he says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things and his righteousness and all these things shall be added. And his righteousness is to build your faith. Get yourself into obedience. That way you are operating in the status of belief and that you are not in unbelief because unbelief is sin." And if you didn't know that, you just learned something new today. I'm hoping this message will help you recognize things and I'm hoping it will help you pray through it and help you change those things that are within you so that you are walking in belief. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we thank you for the anointing of your word. We thank you for your awesomeness and your gloriousness, for the power of your word and and for your amazing amazing grace. Thank you, Father God. May we learn from this and operate in belief. And may we start operating in faith and be able to convince you why we're operating in faith. Hallelujah. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father God. Amen and amen. God bless you. I will see you in the next message. Bye-bye. Previous Next Home

WHY DOES SATAN WANT YOU SO MUCH? The objective of this teaching is to help believers understand the true reason why Satan desires to attack and deceive humanity. By examining the creation story, the fall of man, and God’s redemptive plan through Christ, the lesson reveals that Satan’s hatred is not directed at us personally, but rather at God’s love for us. It encourages believers to stay rooted in relationship with God, knowing that through Jesus Christ they have victory over sin, death, and the enemy’s schemes. WHY DOES SATAN WANT YOU SO MUCH? Minister Lisa Kane January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to help believers understand the true reason why Satan desires to attack and deceive humanity. Synopsis: Why Does Satan Want You So Much? explores the deep spiritual battle that began in the Garden of Eden. Adam, created in God’s image, enjoyed intimate fellowship with his Creator—a relationship Satan envied. As Ezekiel 28 reveals, Satan was present in Eden, watching with jealousy as God spent time with man instead of with him, a being clothed in beauty and splendor. Out of hatred for God and envy of His love toward mankind, Satan set out to prove humanity unworthy, deceiving Eve and drawing Adam into sin. Yet, the message shows that Satan’s true motive is not love or concern for us, but hatred for God. Every time he succeeds in hurting people, he believes he is wounding God’s heart. Still, God’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ triumphs over Satan’s schemes. By sending His Son to die and rise again, God provided eternal life for all who believe (John 3:16, Romans 10:9–10). The teaching closes with a call to relationship: just as God walked with Adam, He desires to walk with us today. By confessing Jesus as Lord, studying His Word, and remaining in fellowship with Him, believers can stand strong against the enemy, assured that where God’s presence dwells, Satan has no place. Inspired Teaching: Have you ever asked yourself why does Satan want me? It’s an interesting question and opens up the Bible by bringing a more complete understanding of the entire picture, and it goes back to the very beginning in the Garden of Eden. Genesis 2:8 New King James Version (NJKV) 8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. Genesis 2:15-20 (NJVK) 15 Then the Lord God took [d]the man and put him in the garden of Eden to [e]tend and keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you[f] shall surely die.” 18 And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” 19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to [g]Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. The above scriptures show us that Adam was in the Garden of Eden without Eve for some amount of time. We don’t know how much time because the Bible doesn't tell us, but we can guess that at least several months to maybe a handful of years went by where there was no Eve. How do I know this? How many animals, beasts, and birds did God create that Adam named and how long do you think it took Adam to name them all? Imagine this, let’s say God brought in a male and female animal that were gray, big, and heavy with trunks on them and Adam says I will call these elephants. What-if God asked Adam why? And what-if Adam asked God why a skinny tail versus a bigger tail to match its girth? You see God and Adam were talking or having a relationship. They were spending time with one another. God interacted with the image He made of Himself. Genesis 1:26a (NKJV) 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; We were made extremely different then any other creature God had already made. We don’t look like the angels and to top it all off, God was spending time with Adam, not the other angels. Which begs the question, who was in the Garden of Eden watching? Ezekiel 28:13 (NKJV) 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created. Satan was in the garden of Eden and he was watching everything going on. He was perplexed and confused to say the least. He couldn’t figure out how could God spend so much time with such an inferior creature? When comparing man against his beauty, there was no comparison. He was made with every precious stone and was so beautiful, yet God wasn’t spending time with him…no he was spending time with Adam. When Satan saw that God placed a female in the Garden and left to give Adam and Eve a ‘honeymoon’, Satan wanted to show God how inferior this creature was. In fact, he wanted to make it such a point to rub it in His face…and was probably thinking that he could do a better job in creating creatures. And that is why Satan wanted us. And he continues to want us to this day because every time he wins, he's hurting God. Satan doesn't care about who you are or what you do but he does care that God loves you so much that he'll do everything in his power to hurt you because he knows it will hurt God. To put it simply, Satan hates God and everything God loves, Satan hates. God showed His love by spending time with Adam. Love is action and God is action. I bet Satan thought he was right when he deceived Eve and Adam. Genesis 3:1-6 (NKJV) 3 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ” 4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was [a]pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves [b]coverings. But God. He had a bigger plan all along. John 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. We’re made in His image and He loves us. He paid a large price, the death of His Son on the cross, to get us back from the curse of sin when Adam and Eve disobeyed God because of Satan's hatred toward Him. Romans 6:23 (NKJV) 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the [a]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. After Adam and Eve sinned, they began aging and eventually died. But Jesus broke death by rising from the dead. Matthew 28:6a (NKJV) 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Hallelujah! Now you and I can rise from certain death by believing and Satan may want to hurt us to hurt God but he can't hurt us anymore. God made a way for us to be saved! Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV) 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. And all it takes is talking to God. It began as a relationship with God and Adam, and it will end in a relationship with God and me (you). Say this out loud: Dear Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross. Forgive me of my sins and come into my life. Be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ Name Amen! Praise the Lord! You are now saved through Jesus Christ and don’t let anyone or anything tell you otherwise. Protect yourself by staying in that relationship with God because where God is, Satan isn’t. How do you stay in a relationship with God? Read His Word! It will be your foundation and get you through life. - SOURCE AND RESOURCE | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
SOURCE AND RESOURCE The objective of Source and Resource is to reveal the biblical principle that every resource has a source, and that the origin determines whether what we receive brings life or death. Pastor Marrero contrasts Satan’s lies as corrupt resources from a false source, with God as the only true Source of every good and perfect gift. The message calls believers to discern the origin of what they rely upon, to pursue God Himself rather than just His provisions, and to prepare as the end-time church to walk in God’s power and purity. SOURCE AND RESOURCE Pastor Marcos Marrero November 4, 2024 Objective: The objective of Source and Resource is to reveal the biblical principle that every resource has a source, and that the origin determines whether what we receive brings life or death. Synopsis: Pastor Marcos teaches from John 8:44, showing that Satan is the father of lies, and all his resources are rooted in deception. Any reliance on demonic resources aligns people with his nature and leads to sin and death (Psalm 7:14; James 1:15). In contrast, James 1:16-17 affirms that every good and perfect gift comes only from God, the true Source. The message illustrates this principle through the story of Elisha (2 Kings 2), who dealt with contaminated water at its source rather than its effects. His act of casting salt at the spring symbolized purity and the importance of addressing corruption at its origin. Elisha’s pursuit of a double portion was not simply for resources but for direct connection to the Source—God Himself. Pastor Marcos emphasizes that believers must be willing to tear off old coverings, embrace God’s new dimension of anointing, and receive His resources for the end times. Just as Elisha cried, “My father, my father, my source and my resource!”, so the church must cry out for God’s power afresh. The teaching continues with Job’s imagery of mining (Job 28:5-6) and Peter’s revelation that Jesus is the Christ, the solid rock (Matthew 16:16-18). Jesus resisted Satan’s temptation to turn stones into bread (Matthew 4:4), showing that the true bread and resource come only from God’s Word. Finally, Pastor Marcos points to Revelation’s promises of hidden manna, the white stone, and the baptism of fire as resources reserved for overcomers in the last days (Revelation 2:17; Matthew 3:11). The end-time battle will be fought by saints who dig deep into God’s Source, overcome by the blood of the Lamb and their testimony (Revelation 12:11), and reign with Christ as kings and priests (Revelation 5:9-10). The central call is clear: Jesus is both the Source and the Resource. The church must turn from false sources, draw from God’s well of salvation, and be equipped with His fire and anointing to fulfill its destiny in these last days. Inspired Teaching: John 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” All resources have a source from where they emanate. For example, every resource that comes from Satan originates from a lie! That is what Jesus is revealing to us in the Scripture above. The devil cannot tell the truth even if he wanted to: There is no truth in him Jesus told us. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources. And by implication Jesus is telling all those who employ demonic resources, that when they do, they are making Satan their father or source and becoming one with him by entertaining his evil desires. Psalm 7:14 “Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity; yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood.” James 1:15 “Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.” This principle of source and resource is a very important one to understand, because Scripture makes it very clear that employing the wrong resources—even if for the right reasons—can get us into a great deal of trouble. That is why it has a warning alongside it. James 1:16-17 “Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift (source) and every perfect gift (resource) is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” Only God is Good and He is the only source of good, and every good gift comes from God and is a perfect gift—resource—that can be used for our benefits. 2 Kings 2:21-22 “Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast the salt there, and said, ‘Thus says the Lord: “I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’” So the water remains healed to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke.” We see this spiritual principle of source and resource at work very clearly at the beginning of the ministry of Elisha; after receiving a double portion of the anointing of God when Elijah was taken up to heaven. The water source for the village was contaminated and both the people and the environment were affected with barrenness. This was probably a test from the sons of the prophets to see if their new leader was now connected to the same spiritual anointing that his predecessor Elijah possessed. 2 Kings 2:19-20 “Then the men of the city said to Elisha, ‘please notice, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees; but the water is bad, and the ground baren.’ And he said, ‘Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.’ So they brought it to him.” Salt represents an antidote to corruption, placing salt at the source of the contaminated water spoke to the fact that whatever corruption existed in Elisha’s ministry had been dealt with by his persistence to receive a double portion of God’s anointing. Elijah’s desire was to meet the source, not just receive the resource. 2 Kings 2:10-11 “So he said, ‘You have asked a hard thing, nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.’ Then it happened, as they continue on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.” I believe that Elisha’s desire for the double portion was based on the fact that he wanted to meet the source himself. When dealing with the miracle that they needed, he asked for a new bowl. You do not insert new wine into old wine skins. The source always precedes the resource! 2 Kings 2:12 “And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, ‘My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!’ So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces.” Pay close attention to Elisha’s cry: My father, my father; My source and my resource! Then he tore his own clothes into two pieces. Traded of himself the old source with all of the old resources and embraced the new dimension of God’s call and ministry for his life. 2 Kings 2:13-14 “He also took up the mantel of Elijah that had fallen from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan. Then he took the mantel of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, ‘Where is the Lord God of Elijah?’ And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over.” I believe that our God is calling His church to a new and greater dimension of spirituality. He wants to equip us with all the great and powerful resources that He has stored in His heavenly granaries for these end times that we are living in. Are we, as His holy church, ready to call on the apostolic mantel to fall upon us one more time? Are we willing to tear, in two pieces, our own old clothes or covering? I believe that deep within our hearts we long to cry out: Where is the God of the apostles? There is only One that is Good! Only One who is the source for all the benefits—resources—that we need to fulfil our destiny as God’s witnesses to this last generation! Job 28:5-6 “As for the earth, from it comes bread, but underneath it is turned up as by fire; Its stones are the source of sapphires, and it contains gold dust.” In the preceding verses Job is talking about mining the earth that produces bread on the surface. And that by digging, or mining, or much travelling, we turn the rocks into precious stones and gold dust. He also says that the source that produces the treasures is: As by fire, stones are turned into precious stones! The gold dust represents the proclamation of the Gospel. Matthew 16:18 “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” What was this solid rock revelation that Peter received? That Jesus is the Source and the resource! Matthew 16:16 “Simon Peter answered and said, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” It is no coincidence that the first temptation that Satan tried against Jesus was that of turning stones into bread. Matthew 4:4 “But He answered and said, ‘It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” Once this revelation enters our hearts—that Jesus is the source, and all the good resources can only come from Him—then our desire should be to dig deep into the well of God’s salvation. Revelation 2:17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written that which no one knows except him who receives.” Matthew 3:11 “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” The end time battle of the last generation will be fought by the saints who go deep into the mine—the source—and they will be filled with God’s holy fire of purification. How can I qualify to receive this powerful end time resource? Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” There has to be a desperate need and urgency in the hearts of those who love His appearing. A deep spiritually born desire and a knowing that the end of all things has come. Do you believe? Revelation 5:9-10 “And they sang a new song, saying: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.’” Previous Next Home
- PRAY FOR YOUR FAMILY | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
Say this prayer out loud: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up to Your throne the body of Christ, all of our family members, which includes in-laws and to our fourth cousins that we don’t even know, and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose all of our family members, which includes in-laws and our fourth cousins that we don’t even know, the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in all of our family members, which includes in-laws and our fourth cousins that we don’t even know ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.” And Heavenly Father, I bless all of our family members, which includes in-laws and our fourth cousins that we don’t even know with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless all of our family members, which includes in-laws and our fourth cousins that we don’t even know with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in the hearts of our family members to forgive and reconcile their lives back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray all of our family members, which includes in-laws and our fourth cousins that we don’t even know are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” manifests within the hearts of all of our family members, which includes in-laws and our fourth cousins that we don’t even know. I pray that the gifts of the holy spirit stated in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12 KJV “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” would unite the body of Christ under one leadership, the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God moves through each of us so that we know what to pray, how to pray, when to pray, and praise the living God in all that we do. I take back my family members and atone on their behalf by saying the following: I stand in their shoes and lift their hands and my hands to the Heavenly Father saying, Lord, forgive us our sins, come into our hearts, and be our Lord and Savior as Romans 10:9 KJV says “9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” For I choose to atone and believe on behalf of my family, in-laws, and up to my fourth cousins in the Name of Jesus, the Son of the Living God. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen!PRAY FOR YOUR FAMILY PRAY FOR YOUR FAMILY PRAY FOR YOUR FAMILY Say this prayer out loud: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up to Your throne the body of Christ, all of our family members, which includes in-laws and to our fourth cousins that we don’t even know, and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose all of our family members, which includes in-laws and our fourth cousins that we don’t even know, the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in all of our family members, which includes in-laws and our fourth cousins that we don’t even know ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. - Intercessor's Manual | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
Intercessor's Manual The objective of Intercessor’s Manual is to equip believers with biblical knowledge and spiritual strategies necessary to engage effectively in intercessory prayer. By exposing the operations of demonic forces, explaining the significance of biblical symbolism, and restoring understanding of the believer’s God-given dominion, the manual seeks to train intercessors to stand in the gap on behalf of others. Its goal is to empower Christians to break curses, dismantle strongholds, and enforce God’s will on earth through Spirit-led prayer and authority in Christ. Intercessor's Manual Pastor Marcos Marrero September 27, 2023 Intercessor's Manual Objective: The objective of Intercessor’s Manual is to equip believers with biblical knowledge and spiritual strategies necessary to engage effectively in intercessory prayer. Synopsis: In Intercessor’s Manual, Pastor Marcos Marrero provides a comprehensive guide for believers called to the ministry of intercession. Drawing deeply from Scripture, the manual explains the spiritual realities of demonic infrastructures, biblical symbolism, and the authority of believers in Christ. Pastor Marcos emphasizes that intercessors are mediators who stand in the gap on behalf of others, empowered by the name of Jesus to confront and dismantle spiritual strongholds. The book explores how Satan and his principalities operate, how biblical revelation unveils hidden truths, and how believers can reclaim Adamic dominion through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Marcos also outlines the nature of curses, the tactics of demonic spirits, and the necessity of repentance, renouncement, and restoration in the life of an intercessor. Ultimately, the manual equips readers with both theological understanding and practical strategies for effective prayer warfare, calling the Church to rise in authority and enforce God’s will on earth as it is in heaven. Sample first pages of the Book/Manual: UNDERSTANDING DEMONIC INFRASTRUCTURES Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities (Arkhay, in the original Greek), against powers (Exooseeah), against the rulers (Kosmokratore) of the darkness (Skotos) of this world, against spiritual (Pnyoomatikos) wickedness (Ponayreeah) in high places (Epooraneeos).” • Arkhay = Principalities: Commencement, principal ruler, chieftain, arch or covering. • Status: First in order, rank, time and space. Precedes all demonic powers; top. • Assignment: To pervert all God given authority and religious principles. • Exooseeah = Powers: Ability or privilege to enforce mastery of superhuman nature. • Status: Has delegated influence or jurisdiction over a specific area. • Assignment: To pervert thrones, governments, princedoms and virtues. • Kosmokratore = Rulers: Stolen dominion of a period or interval of time. (Curses) • Skotos: (of) Obscurity: Shade or shadows. (Lack of knowledge or willful ignorance) • Status: The force behind all disorder, lawlessness, lewdness. • Assignment: Everything that would weaken godly rule for the purpose of seizing and/ or retaining control. Pnyoomatikos = Spiritual: Noncarnal. Wicked spirits in the lower heaven. Ponayreeah = Depravity: Who bring perversion, malice, plots of sins. (Malevolence) Epooraneeos = High: Their assignment is to create an atmosphere of tolerance and self-indulgence. Status: Operates in the soulish realm, to manipulate the human senses. (Sensuality) So that our warfare is not against humanity’s failings and frailties, but rather against a chief ruling spirit whom the Bible identifies as the devil and Satan. This chief fallen spirit leads all the workers of perversion who try to hinder the work of God’s benevolence towards mankind as presented in the Word of God, from reaching us. This chief fallen spirit, the devil; delegates power of a supernatural nature to his wicked spiritual minions who take advantage of mankind’s lack of knowledge or willful ignorance regarding unbroken curses that hang over humanity. So that the depravity of the devil and his fallen angels is brought to fruition within the human race and is tolerated by humanity because of their sensual appeal to our fallen nature. 1 John 2:16 “…the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.” 1 John 3:8 “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” Luke 10:1820 “And He said to them, ‘I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you (the believers) the authority (Exooseeah) to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (the devil), and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.’” The believers whose names are written in heaven have been empowered to wrestle against the spiritual forces that operate in the darkness of this world and to overcome them through powerful targeted intercession. An intercessor is one who is in a position to mediate on behalf of another. The believers whose names are written in heaven, and to whom this fallen spirits are subject to, have access in the Name of Jesus to the only omnipotent ruler of all creation, God Himself, to mediate on behalf of those who do not, will not or cannot. My hope is that in this manual, you, whose names are written in heaven, will find the revelation knowledge that will empower you to bring deliverance from the works of darkness, through powerful intercession, into whatever situation Jesus is leading you to intercede for on behalf of mankind, as we expose the works of darkness to the light of the precious Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. UNDERSTANDING BIBLICAL SYMBOLISM Ezekiel 28:2 “...Because your heart is lifted up, and you say ‘I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods, in the midst of the seas...’” Rabbinical teachers interpret the Old Testament as having four different levels of interpretation or understanding. The four Gospels were written to conform to these four levels of interpretation and revelation, since they represent the fulfillment of many of the prophecies hidden in the Old Testament. 1) Peshat: The Simple or elementary level; the plain writing of the Scriptures. a) The Gospel of Mark is written in this level, short and simple. Jesus is revealed to us as a Servant. No pedigree or genealogy is given about Him, servants have none. b) Mark 9:35 “And He sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.” 2) Remez: The Hint or practical level of interpretation of Scripture. Allegorical and philosophical. a) The Gospel of Luke was written to conform to this philosophical level. Jesus’ humanity is represented here. That is why God chose a doctor to write it, and the human genealogy of Jesus which is given here, takes us all the way back to the first human. i) Luke 3:38 (Jesus the son of, who was)…“The son of Adam, the son of God.” b) Luke 17:37 “And they answered and said to him, ‘Where Lord?’ So He said to them, ‘Wherever the body is, there the eagles will gather.’” i) The above Scripture hints that there is a different level of understanding and sophistication that is needed to fully comprehend what Jesus was telling them. 3) Drosh: The Regal level is a far more sophisticated level of interpretation. This level will require the elements of solving riddles. a) The Gospel of Matthew was written in this level, and the genealogy of Jesus takes us up to Abraham the Patriarch of the nation of Israel and father of all the children of faith. Jesus is represented here as the King of the Jews and spiritually speaking as the King of kings and Lord of lords as well. b) Matthew 27:37 “And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him: THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.” i) As we enter into this level of Scripture revelation, we find an anointing of authoritative power to enforce the spiritual ordinances not just within our natural physical realm that we influence, but to the level of enforcement that applies to the spirit of the law as it pertains to the demonic levels of principalities and powers. ii) Proverbs 25:2 “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” 4) Sohd: The Secret level, it lifts us into the heavenly places to view the secret aspects of the Scriptures. a) The Gospel of John is full of these secrets. In John 1:1 the eternal genealogy of Jesus is given; “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” In John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” b) John 16:25 “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.” The first letter in each of these four methods — PRDS — combine to spell out the Hebrew word for Paradise or the third heaven according to 2 Corinthians 12:24. Understanding the mechanics of these four levels of the revelation of the Word of God will take us back to the dominion that Adam and Eve forfeited in the garden, when they allowed Satan to steal it from them. 2 Corinthians 12:24 “I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago — whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows — such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man — whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows — how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.” Paradise is the name of the third heaven, the place where God’s seat of power is and from where He rules over His creation. APPLICATION OF BIBLICAL SYMBOLISM Revelation 13:1 “And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea (Ezekiel 282 Midst of the sea). He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.” The midst of the sea symbolizes the seat of power of the chief spiritual ruler (principality), in this case the dragon or devil. His seat of power is in the second or lower heaven biblically speaking; humanly known as the underworld or the occult. Exodus 20:4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image — any likeness of anything that is in heaven above (third heaven/Paradise), or that is in the earth beneath (our physical realm, the cosmos), or that is in the water under the earth (heaven below/underworld).” Here we see the third heaven or heaven above from where God rules, separated from the water under the earth or the lower heaven where Satan’s seat of power is, by the physical (the cosmos) realm called earth. Genesis 1:68 “Then God said, ‘Let there be a firmament (an expanse) in the midst of the waters (heaven above/heaven below), and let it divide the waters from the waters.’ Thus God made the firmament (physical realm/expanse to separate between the two), and divided (separated the spiritual realm) the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven (is important to note that the physical realm is also called heaven, the first heaven by implication)…” Strongs concordance # {7549} ["yqir; — raqiya`, rawkee'ah; from 7554; properly, an expanse, i.e. the firmament. {7554} [q"r; — raqa`, rawkah'; a primitive root; to pound the earth. So that there is a struggle between us earthlings who pray to our Father in Heaven (above) for His will to be done here on earth (terra firmament) as it is in Heaven. And the demonic spirits that the earthlings that have been taken captive by the snares of the devil, have summoned through their occultist practices and ways, from the hidden heaven below (spiritual realm of the underworld). 2 Timothy 2:26 “And that they may come to their senses (the humans that violate God’s spiritual laws) and escape the snare of the devil (through the power of our intercession), having been taken captive by him to do his will.” Here's where you can purchase this book of this book is published: Amazon Barnes & Noble Xulon Press Book Found Here Previous Next Home
- THE FALL AND RISE OF HUMANKIND | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
THE FALL AND RISE OF HUMANKIND The objective of this message is to teach and reveal the biblical truth about humanity’s fall into sin through Adam and Eve, the consequences of that fall, and the redemptive plan of God fulfilled through Jesus Christ. It aims to help listeners understand why sin entered the world, how it affects all people, and why redemption through Jesus is essential for eternal life. The message also emphasizes building a personal relationship with God, recognizing spiritual authority over the enemy, and choosing salvation to secure one’s place with Christ. < Back THE FALL AND RISE OF HUMANKIND Minister Lisa Kane January 23, 2022 Objective: The objective of this message is to teach and reveal the biblical truth about humanity’s fall into sin through Adam and Eve, the consequences of that fall, and the redemptive plan of God fulfilled through Jesus Christ. It aims to help listeners understand why sin entered the world, how it affects all people, and why redemption through Jesus is essential for eternal life. The message also emphasizes building a personal relationship with God, recognizing spiritual authority over the enemy, and choosing salvation to secure one’s place with Christ. Synopsis: In The Fall and Rise of Humankind, Lisa Kane begins by grounding the message in Genesis 1–3, explaining the creation, the planning phase of God’s design, and the perfection of the original world. She shows how humanity was given authority, yet fell through deception when Eve and Adam disobeyed God, leading to three lasting curses: the serpent’s humiliation, pain and subjection for women, and toil and death for men. The teaching highlights how Lucifer, once exalted, resented humanity’s relationship with God and sought to corrupt it through sin. Yet, this sets the stage for God’s plan of redemption. Lisa connects Genesis to the New Testament, demonstrating how Jesus, the Word made flesh, became the perfect answer to mankind’s fall. Through His death, resurrection, and the shedding of His blood, Jesus broke the curse of sin and provided the way back to God. The message builds to the triumphant truth that although all are born into sin, believers can rise through Christ into eternal life. Lisa calls listeners to repentance and acceptance of Jesus as Savior, stressing the urgency of salvation and the reality of eternity. She closes by encouraging believers to walk in relationship with God, live redeemed lives, and stand ready for Christ’s return. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this on Sunday, January 23rd, 2002. And this message is called The Fall and Rise of Humankind. So, let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we lift up this word to you and bless it in the name of Jesus. Open up our hearts to receive and our understanding to comprehend and give us the strength and the endurance to live it and walk with it and to believe. In the glorious name of Jesus we pray. Amen. All right. So, as you can see, I'm doing a little bit of a different format here. Let's see how this works. I've been playing with lighting and sound, just trying to find something that I'm happy with. So far, this is looking okay. So, let's let's give this one a try. So, let's get right into the message. The fall and rise of humankind. Okay. Where are we going with this, Lisa? All right. So, our opening scripture here is Genesis 2:1. Thus, the heavens and the earth and all the host of them were finished. What an interesting scripture to start with, Lisa. It's like this is the done. It's done. All right. So, why do we need to do this? Okay. I understand that there are a lot of teachers out there and preachers who don't teach on the book of Genesis. I also understand that there's a lot of people who think that's in the past. I don't need to think about it or worry about it. It has nothing to do with me. Well, if you read Matthew 24 and Jesus is talking about prophecy, he tells you, I believe it's in verse 37, that it'll be like the days of Noah. So, you got to know about Noah's flood at least. Okay. But the most important part is you're probably asking yourself the question why. You know, I've already kind of touched a little bit on what we go through, but when you understand how mankind fell in the beginning and that you are born into it, then it it kind of comes like, oh wow, I have to deal with this. And there's a reality check in here. And it really once you get that why answered, it is absolutely imperative that you see where you're going with this and why you need to believe. So I think addressing the why is very important. On top of it all, man, if you read Genesis 1, 2, and 3, chapters 1 through 3, oh my goodness, there are so many golden nuggets and mysteries here that kind of answer a lot of things that science has been answering, but you've got a lot of people lying to us. So, let's get into it and let's just show you how mankind fell, what that story is, uh, and where what Jesus, it actually helps you understand what the redemption of what God and Jesus did. It's really, really, and you see the connection. Scripture just connects it all together. It's very powerful. So, I'm very excited about this message as you could tell. So, let's get into it. So, it is finished. So, you can see here um the heavens and the earth. Now this is Genesis 2 verse one. Now golden nugget number one. Let me just tell you if you do a word study on Genesis 1:es 1 and two and there's a lot of theologians out there who have a theory that another world existed before us. And they it's because they did a word study on here. So you might be interested in checking that out. But basically, God sees this darkness here, this uckiness and he's he he makes life in that and he doesn't understand. You're going to see that in scriptures. So, it's like, wow. Okay. Um, you know, it kind of hints like what did God destroy before to make it like that? And did he start over? I mean, it's really really interesting and and you can get a lot of questions out of that. And these are things you can ask God and hope that he answers it for you. Um, I suggest writing it down in a journal, date it, and one day you may get your answer and you can write it down. Could be in a dream, it could be scripture. He'll reveal that to you as a believer in Christ. So, I highly encourage you to do that. So, that's Genesis 1 and two. Now, I want you to see um or verses one and two in chapter one. I want you to see something here because if you go on an internet search, which I don't recommend doing that, but anyways, when you do, you're gonna hear all these people that talk about two atoms and two E's, and it's like, come on, people. This is not complicated. When you read chapters one and two, you're seeing the same story from two different perspectives. Perspective number one is chapter one, and that's the planning phase. God plans everything out. You're gonna see how this connects to the redemption. Oh, this is so good. I'm so excited about it. So, he plans everything. So, when I say he plans, pretend, think of it like this. He's in his workshop. He's got a bowl of water and that's going to be the oceans. He's got a bowl of earth, that's going to be the land mass. So, and he lays everything out, including man and woman. So, everything is laid out. This is chapter one. and he tells you what he does on each day. So he creates the sun and the moon and the stars and he does all that. I'm not going to go into a lot of that scripture. I encourage you to read chapter one and figure it out and read it from the perspective that it's a planning phase. Really helps when you understand that because then you get chapter two because you know when people come back and say no two Adams two n okay just understand the scriptures. Okay. So, in fact, let's go to the next verse here because I think this is going to also clarify and help you understand this planning phase. So, Genesis 2, now we're in verses four and six, and it says, "This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens before." So, if you read all chapter one, you think, "Okay, well, this is what he did on day one. This is what he did on day two." Yes, but he made it, but he didn't put it in action. It was a plan. Think of it as a planning phase. This is very important. So, look at what he says here. Before any plant of the field was in the earth, and before any herb of the field had grown, for the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground, but a mist went it from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. Okay. So also while you're seeing that he talked about the planning phase now you're seeing he's talking about how the environment of the earth existed prior to what we know it today. Okay so today we get rain today we get winds this weekend we've had heavy winds here in Lakeor but uh they that didn't exist then. In fact it was such a perfect temperature that the water would miss you didn't even need to wear clothing. Adam was made without clothing and until he sinned, God didn't put clothes on clothes on him until then. So you can see that the atmosphere was completely different. So I the reason I'm stressing this is because I want you to see when you think of science and you you get into the world of science and they tell you evolution and all this kind of stuff, I want you to consider how the world existed then. God was perfect. And in fact, every time he went through whatever he planned, he said, "And this is good. He blessed it. It is good." So get into that. See that and watch how it unfolds. Okay. Now, I want you to see that God set things up here. This is and this also reinforces how chapter 1 reads as a plan. Look at the next scripture here. Genesis chapter 2 15-1 17. Then the Lord God took the man. Where did he take him from? [Laughter] I'm telling you, it was like he was in a workshop and he took him out of the workshop and now put him into the universe into the area. I'm not kidding. This is scripture. This is absolutely amazing. Watch this. So then God, the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die." So God sets the parameters. So Adam now knows what he needs to do. So he's there to tend the garden. So let me let me kind of go a little further. That word, by the way, tand is to guard. Uh, and if you want to do a word st study, again, I encourage you to do that. But I also want you to think this through for just a quick moment. You know, there's a lot of things that Moses did not write in here because it's implied. So, you can think the situation and the logical through this. And it is really, really interesting. So, we know that dinosaurs existed. You notice the scripture doesn't talk anything about it. does talk about all the animals are created here and you're going to see that Adam's going to end up naming all of the um all the animals. So, they're there. So, what's the purpose of having a dinosaur? You have to keep in mind also there's something else going on here. Sin has not appeared yet. There's no sin yet. So, that means you don't have animal eating animal. Okay? There there there's no viciousness. So, everything is edible from the earth. Meaning you can grab whatever root, stem, branch, you can eat it. It's all edible. This is the environment that the Lord created. It was naturally watered by the earth. But dinosaurs, what was their purpose? Well, if Adam only had, we don't know how much land he was given to tend. But we do know that whatever that amount is is only one man. How much can one man handle? Okay. But in all reality, if he's just having to guard it, then it's a matter of what he can eat, right? If he can only eat so much, does everything grow and overgrown? So, dinosaurs have to eat the grass and the trees and the bushes to keep things from overgrowing. That's why they're there. I just thought I'd throw that in there because this makes the whole thing make a whole lot more sense when science says, "Well, there's dinosaurs and evolution." It helps you understand things. And I'm going to talk about evolution here in just a minute. So, I want you to see. So, let's now look at what Adam does here because there's still no Eve in the picture. Watch this. So, here you can see God took Adam. He puts him into this particular land. And this is what he has them do. Genesis 2 19-20. Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle to the birds of the air and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. Eve is not there yet. Okay? I want you to see that there is so much in these two scriptures. I need to elaborate because this is so powerful. This is going to help you understand what the devil's up to and why redemption is so important and it's in these two scriptures. So God forms all the animals. He forms them out of the dirt. He he brings them all to Adam and he names them. Now, first question you got to ask yourself, how long did it take Adam to name all those animals? Now, keep in mind these are kinds. So, we're not talking about different breeds of dogs or horses or cats. We are talking about a dog, a cat, a horse, a giraffe, an elephant, dinosaur, type of dinosaur. But all of these animals existed and Adam is naming them. So, did it take him a couple hours, days, weeks, months, years, 5,000 years? Well, let's take a moment and analyze this because I think this is very important. Watch this. So, if sin hasn't happened, Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is dead. Adam isn't dying. That means he's not aging. Notice God doesn't tell you how old he was when he made him. He's an adult. Full mature adult. We just don't know. Is he 21, 28, 33, 55? We don't know how old he is. God doesn't have tails because there's no age here. Here's even the most important part. So, let's let's do a quick scenario here. Let's say uh God brings in two big fat gray things and he asks Adam to name them male and female. And Adam says, "I'm gonna call him an elephant." God chuckles and says, "Why?" And Adam says, "Cuz I got trunks." You know, Adam is a child in his mind. Okay? And God is working with him to see what his creation is like. So, this is kind of really neat and important here. So, as they're having this conversation, so God chuckles and he moves on, but Adam stops him and he says, "Well, wait a minute, God, I have a question." And I said, "Okay, what's your question?" And and Adam's like, "You know, I I named that dinosaur back there. He's got big old long fat tail to hold up his girth because he's a big he's a big guy. But these elephants are big, too. And you gave them a skinny long tail. why they need the tail to help them hold up their curves. And so God goes and explains his creation. His mind is thinking, you know, so God and Adam are building a relationship here. And while they're doing that, somebody's watching something take place. Now, I want to go into the next scripture here real quick because I think this is going to help you understand what's going on behind the scenes. Now, we're going to go back to Genesis chapter 1. Remember, this is the planning phase. Look at this. Genesis chapter 1 26 through 27. And God said, "Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God. He created him male and female. He created him. Now remember, this is chapter one, the planning phase. So he already made Eve. He already made Adam. He already made all the animals. But you got to remember, he formed all the animals from the dirt and then brought them to Adam. So his chapter one is all about planning. So now, so here God and Adam are having a relationship. God is spending so much time with Adam. This is absolutely incredible. He loves Adam. He's enjoying his relationship with Adam. So remember chapter 2 verse one, the opening scripture, and all the earth and heaven was finished. So now you also know the heavens are built and made and finished. They're there means all the angels are there. God doesn't go into details of what he did in the heavens and in fact you know the mystery of heaven is we know about angels because the term angel is a messenger so they came and spoke to us from heaven gave Mary a message gave you know Daniel messages so the angels have had an important role but if you read Ezekiel there's some interesting creatures in heaven book of Enoch even talks about watchers are they really angels you know was it a messenger or were they a different form you don't know this. So the heavenly realm already exists right here, right now. So God and Adam are relating. God made Adam in his image and he's like seeing his image in the flesh and there's this devil at that time. He was an angel and he's sitting there. He's watching this unfold. He's there going to Ezekiel and he talks about him being there. the uh the devil taking the form of the serpent. And again, I have so many scriptures. I didn't include that here, but you can go read that. So, here you've got Adam and God. And you know, when that the scriptures talk about, you know, the devil's there because you're going to hear about him interacting with Eve here in just a minute. You know, he's there. He took the form of the serpent. You know this. And they Ezekiel confirms it as being the devil. So, I'm telling you that he's watching God and Adam right here, right now in that moment. And he is trying to figure out what's going on because he knows what God looks like. You know, Lucifer knows what God look like. Looks like And there he is. He's looking at him and he's kind of looking at the tube, but he sees Adam in this weak form. He's he's uh flesh on top of it. He stinks. If you read the book of Enoch, I'm not going to describe what the angel smell is like, but it's not pleasant. We don't smoke it to them. So Lucifer standing there, he's watching this going, "Why?" Because in his mind, it was made the most beautiful creature. And he's like, "I'm top dog here, folks. You need to me. You need to worship me. And you got to give me Mike dude credit. This is the devil talking. Okay. So, here you are. You're you're seeing this scene unfold. You're seeing God. You're seeing Adam. They're getting along. God is thrilled. Yes, he made him in his own image. He loves him. He loves his creation. This is absolutely incredible because he's basically ignoring everybody else. And Lucifer is getting madder and matter because he can't figure out what's going on. In fact, in his mind, he's thinking that thing, that human thing is stupid. I could deceive that thing. So, let's watch what unfolds here because now you understand why suddenly the serpent goes and talks to Eve because the scripture doesn't tell you why. So when you understand that he was there watching this relationship build up, this love for such a lowly creature as us, we're lower than the angels. And at that time, Lucifer was higher than us. So you could see, you know, Lucifer had no love for us at all. He did not like us. So what happens next? So let us go into what he does with Eve. And I want you to see something. He goes after Eve. He didn't go after Adam. Adam spent time with God. Now, once Adam is done naming all the animals, God brings Eve into the picture, puts Adam to sleep. You can read the scriptures. I'm not going to read all of those. And Eve, you know, comes into existence. Now, I'm going to tell you right now, after they sin, they're pushed out of the Garden of Eden. Eve did not have a child in the Garden of Eden. So, now we're looking at a nine-month period. Okay? So, we have now nine months before Adam and Eve are outside of um the Garden of Eden. So, watch what the serpent says to Eve. And you have to understand Adam is right there with her. He he is um he's one happy boy. He's having his honeymoon. He's happy. So, let's look at what happens here with the serpent and Eve. So, we're in Genesis chapter 3 now, and this is verses four and five. Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die, for God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be open and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." Again, I'm not bringing the whole conversation to you. This to say the least, Eve got deceived by Satan. And you can see Satan boldly lied because God did say, "You will surely die." Remember the rule I read earlier with Adam? God says, "You will surely die." And uh proof is they did die. um might have been like over 900 years later but they died. So Satan boldly lies. He deceives Eve and now the fall of man mankind occurs. Sin takes place the moment that Eve pulls that fruit off, takes a bite, gives some to her husband who's standing right there. He takes a bite as well. This sets in motion three curses that you and I still live under today, which is the fall of humankind. So, let's go take a look at those three curses in detail here. This is the part I wanted to get to, but I had to lay that foundation here for you. So, I do encourage you to go read Genesis 1 through3 and see how it all pans out and and continue on if you're interested. It's it's such a neat beginning to see how things got started. It really is. All right. So curse number one. So Genesis in chapter 3 verse4 and 15. So the Lord said to the serpent, "Because you have done this. You are cursed more than all cattle and more than every beast of the field. On your belly you shall go and you shall eat death all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel." Again, I'm not going to go into all of what that implies, but the most important part I want you to see here is that he has to crawl on his belly. And what did God do in the planning phase? He gave authority to his image us over every creeping crawling thing on the earth. So he demoted Lucifer to be lower than the humans for that matter lower than the cattle. So he lost his rank. And you know if you go and you study the time between um Adam and Eve and they start having their household, their family and their kids and up to the flood and you realize this entire civilization comes into existence and you see that the Greek mythology comes out of there. Read the book of Enoch. You talk about the 200 watchers. Satan did this and he got demoted bad. And one of the thoughts I always had in the back of my mind is why wasn't he in charge of the 200 watchers and telling him what to do? But he got demoted. He's an outcast. So these 200 watchers decide to go ahead and do something and then they're cursed really bad, too. God um uh they can't die. He He doesn't kill his spiritual beings, but their offspring that they had with women. And this is in Genesis, I believe, chapter 6. you again I'm going down a rabbit trail but you can go read the scriptures if you if you want they had so the these giants had these offspring and God cursed the offspring and had them die within 500 years of their lives and then uh those angels those demons of 200 watchers here were put somewhere on the earth in a deep place with the covering of her but it's a dark place they they're not seeing any light they will be released in the time of tribulation in Revelation you can read more about that too in Jude food. But if you're interested, it's the book of Enoch. It is not in the Bible, but it is a book that was found with the old scriptures of the Bible in the C room case. So that might be something you're interested in looking at. So you can see here though that Satan is cursed and now he's below us. This is why we have the authority to o to overcome Satan. So when he comes in, you know, and God uses Satan. He's a puppet. So if God sends Satan to attack us, we can say, "Hey, you know what? Be gone with you. Get below my feet. you're not in my life. And then go to God and say, I don't know why you allowed him to do that, but I'm coming here and I'm gonna repent and I'm gonna get myself lined up with you. And that's how that works. So this is so you can see curse one. You can see our role in it. We still live with that today because we are dealing with Satan. So let's look at curse number two. This is against Eve woman. Uh so Genesis 3:16, to the woman he said, I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception. and in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband and he shall rule over you. Sorry women, but men are going to rule over us because that's part of the curse that we are. And uh although we're making strides, it ain't going to the the roles are never going to switch. But and notice she has to give birth in pain. And we still deal with that today, you know. And for all those methods doing in the water and not not that I experienced that I'm going to tell you right now I don't know how much easier it was but it was still painful having kids is painful that's a curse we still live with today now let's look at curse three this is the most interesting curse because you think Adam got cursed maybe in a roundabout way but look how God does it Genesis 3 17-19 then to Adam he said because you have heeded the voice of your wife and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, you shall not eat of it. Cursed is the ground for your sake. In toil, you shall eat of it all the days of your life, both thorns and thistles. It shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken, for dust you are, and to dust you shall return. We die. And what do our bodies do? They turn to dust if you bury them. same thing. Now, man still has to toil the ground. We have to plant um our seeds and we have to pull out the harvest. And that is something that we work hard to do. It is a hard life being a farmer. I'm going to tell you that right now. So, this is another curse that we still live with today. So this entire section of this message is thus for thus far uh the fall of mankind. This is you know we fell. And so every time you're born or anybody's born into this world, guess what? We're born into sin. Now another point to make out here I think that's very important is when God says he made us in his image we can procreate and we can have children and each of our child children become souls future souls. So when animals have their offspring they're they're blank. The animals are instinctive but they don't have the cognitive sensient thinking skills that humans do. We're the only ones that have that and we're the only ones that can procreate. Even the heavenly realm cannot do that. They're already established. So, however many angels God had made initially, that's it. They're already established. Okay. So, now what did God do to save us? This is awesome. Look at We're going to start here in Luke. Luke 1:16. Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people. So, he redeemed us. How did he do that? So, let's go look at the birth of Christ for just a quick moment here in Luke 1:es 30-33. Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a son, and shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the son of the highest. And the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. And he will reign over the house of Jacob forever. and of his kingdom there will be no end. So God decides, so he made us in his image and now all of a sudden he decides to have a biological son born into the flesh that he made in his image. You know the one that Lucifer thought we're just weak and stupid and can be deceived. Oh, God says, "You want to go there?" I'm telling you who I'm sending there. Look who he sent. Oh, this is so powerful. So, this is his biological son. But watch what he's called here. John 1 1-5. In the beginning was the word. Let's go back to Genesis. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. You see what God is doing here? He is saying Jesus is the redemption for what happened in Genesis. And look at what he says here. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him and without him nothing was made that was made. Chapter one that whole plan he says he made everything with the power of his word. And now he sent his word into flesh. Let's continue on. Uh in him was life and the life was the light of men and the light shines in the darkness. And the darkness did not comprehend it. Read chapter one of Genesis when God said, "Let there be light in the darkness." Said, "I don't understand what that is. What's that? Do you know what that is?" And you know, it's like, "I don't know what that is." And he's reaffirming it in John chapter one. So God is connecting some dots here. And I want you to see this because this is absolutely imperative that you understand that God went after the devil and he said, "You going to do this? You took my people. You deceived my image, my creation. Now I'm going to take it back and I'm going to redeem it." Look at this. John chapter 1 verse14. And the word became flesh and dwelt among us. And we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth. Hallelujah. So we actually got to see the power of the word of God for those that were alive during Jesus' time during that time. So Jesus, he's alive. He's walking on the earth. He's the power that created it all. Imagine, you know, coming from that greatness, that that power and authority. I mean, put in the flesh. I don't know how that he adapted to, but he's got it. He can do it. And he did it. And then he told us what needed to be done. John chapter uh 14:6, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me." Jesus flat out said, "There's no other way to get to God." And God, you know, he's redeeming his people. And he's telling us that you have to be saved to get to me. But to be saved, you have to go to Jesus and ask for forgiveness and mercy because he's the only way. So he not only redeems, but he redeemed us, giving you a choice to choose whether you want to be redeemed or not. This is powerful. Let's go into Matthew here. Matthew 27:50-53. This is Jesus now dying on the cross. I want you to see what he had to endure to be able to say, "I can redeem you." Look at this. And and this is absolutely incredible. This is the power of the word that created this world. And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. Then behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And that veil was several inches thick. You need a sharp blade to to cut that. And it was torn. Torn. That's how strong the angels and and that heavenly realm is. Uh top to bottom. And the earthquake and the rocks were split. And the graves were opened. And many bodies of the saints who have fallen asleep were raised and coming out of the graves after his resurrection. And they went into the holy city and appeared to many. Oh my goodness gracious. So remember, as soon as Adam and Eve ate of that fruit, they shall surely die. Soon as Jesus died on the cross, people came out of the graves and went around seeing their name. Imagine you buried Aunt Susie two years earlier and there she comes walking in the door. Hey guys, how's it going? Let me tell you about Jesus. Oh, this is so powerful. You got to understand Jesus said you had to surely die. I God can't change his word. He has his word. But I'm going to redeem you and fulfill you so that you you will surely die in the flesh. He died in the flesh. He set the example. But he says, "I'm going to get you out of that grave, absent from the body, present with the Lord." And he kept his promise. That is awesome. Oh, hallelujah. Oh, hallelujah. Did I change that screen? I wanted to change. Yeah. So, now look at what Jesus does. Okay. I'm very excited here. Matthew 28:5-7. But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who was crucified. He's not here, for he is risen." And he said, "Come and see the place where the Lord lay and go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead." And indeed he is going before you into Galilee. There you will see him. Behold, I have told you. Oh my goodness gracious. Jesus came out of the grave. Shall surely die. You're going to die. Everybody is appointed to die once. But Jesus says, "I have redeemed you if you believe." Oh, and you get to come out of the grave. This is so powerful. Paul explains it here in Ephesians. This is this is neat. Watch this. In Ephesians, how Paul explains it. Ephesians 1 uh 7-10. In him we have redemption. There's the redemption through his blood. You know, Jesus had to sacrifice his blood on the cross. The forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence. having made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times. Oh, this is awesome. He might gather together in all in one all things in Christ both which are in heaven and which are in on earth in him. There's a will and a purpose here. And remember Jes God talked about it in the planning phase of chapter one of Genesis and he says I'm going to redeem my people. And here he has done that. He has redeemed us. We are saved by asking for the forgiveness of sins. And once you do that, because forgiveness, you know, God is merciful. And there's nothing that you did that will make him say, "No, Jesus is going to forgive you of every sin you ever did. You killed somebody, he's going to forgive you." You know, I think a lot of people are going to be shocked when they get to heaven and they find, especially, you know, believers, they get to heaven and they're going to find out what if Hitler asked God to forgive him before he killed himself. I'm sure a lot of people are not going to be happy about that, but this is the mercy that Jesus has for us. So, we sin. So, now every time we're born, we're born in sin. That was the fall of mankind. But when we come out of those graves, here is the re rise of the image of God. And now we get a new body. We' Previous Next Home

Note, the ending is cut-off with no closing prayer, but the substance of the message is there, and this is a good teaching on spiritual warfare. Objective: Equip believers to practice intercession as true spiritual warfare: knowing the real Jesus, standing in their God-given authority, and speaking God’s Word to confront principalities and powers, break curses, and apply the blood of Jesus over their lives, families, and communities. Synopsis: After welcoming the Holy Spirit, the message frames intercession as active spiritual warfare. Using Psalm 18, David’s experience illustrates demonic assault—fear, death, and floods of ungodliness—met by crying out to God, who “shakes the earth” and delivers. Words are shown to carry jurisdiction: attacks often ride on hateful or cursing words, which must be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). A key contrast appears between David and Saul: not sinlessness, but allegiance. Spiritual warfare begins with knowing the real Jesus and refusing syncretism (mediums, rituals, horoscopes, cultural paganism). From Ephesians 3:10, the church—God’s living temple—is tasked to make known God’s wisdom to principalities (jurisdictions) and powers (delegated enforcers). Jesus grants superior authority (Luke 10:19) to trample serpents and scorpions and to nullify the enemy’s manifested “dunamis.” The message unveils the manifold (sevenfold) Spirit on Jesus (Isaiah 11:2) and explains how wisdom, understanding, and knowledge build and establish God’s plan (Proverbs 24:3–4). Reverent fear of the Lord gives “quick understanding,” guarding against self-use of spiritual gifts. Believers are called to strike the earth with the rod of their mouth (Isaiah 11:4): declare Scripture, apply the blood of Jesus to silence bloodguilt in the land, and break family and regional curses. Practical targets include religion-bound strongholds (“bulls,” Psalm 22) and secular governmental/ cultural pressures (“lions”). Intercession starts at home—speaking over family, health, finances, schools, workplaces—while trusting God to dispatch angelic help as His Word is declared. The call to action: stand in Christ’s righteousness, speak God’s Word boldly, and contend for God’s kingdom to manifest on earth—for protection, deliverance, and revival. Inspired Teaching: We welcome you, Holy Spirit, right now. We thank you that during the time of praise and worship, you you brought us into the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and grace in the time of need. And even now, as we have prayed for the people that were anointed and commissioned, you were there, dear Lord Jesus, to touch and to fill and and to fulfill your promises in the lives of those that we were prayed for. And now we ask you that you will anoint your word that as h I offer my lips, Father God, as a sacrifice of praise to you that the Holy Spirit may use, Father God, let your anointing, Father God, touch the hearts of each of every one of us here tonight. For we need you, Lord Jesus. These are desperately wicked times. We need you now more than ever before. We need your presence. We need your power. You need We need your anointing. So Lord Jesus have your will with us tonight. Amen. Amen. Praise God. You may be seated. Thank you Lord Jesus. Hallelujah. Praise you father. I want to talk about the uh intercession. Uh I first of all I want to apologize for not making it last week. As you know, we moved to Lake Elsenor and my wife and I first time in the two and a half months we've been there. We ordered pizza on Thursday night and uh oh my god, I puke all night long Thursday night. I mean, and then she started on on uh on Friday morning. We This is incredible. We got in bed at 10 or 11 in the morning and slept like six hours straight. Then we got in bed Friday night at 6 o'clock and we slept until the next day and you know getting up and and getting sick and and all that stuff. But there's no way we could have drove out here. Believe me, uh we were dying. We thought we were poison. We thought they they put poison or something in there. So, but we're here tonight. Um let me show you. If you go to Psalm 18, let me show you what intercession is all about. Intercession is about spiritual warfare. Okay? And and I want you to see um what from from David's uh point of view uh what uh spiritual warfare is all about. The Psalm 8 thing it is all is also in 2 Samuels I believe and is about uh doing spiritual warfare. If you look at verse four Psalm 18 verse4 this is what David says. Now remember David is a mighty man of God. David is anointed of the Holy Spirit and he says the pains of death surrounded me and the floods of ungodliness made me afraid. The sorrows of shield that's hell surrounded me. The snares of death confronted me. That is talking about spiritual attack. David came under a demonic spiritual attack. He says the the spirit of death just came and in around me the floods of ungodliness. That's when all every wicked thing that you can ever think of begin to flow through you through your mind. and all of a sudden you you feel like killing somebody or doing those vile things and you step back and said, "Where in the world was that coming from?" So, he's talking about not only the spirit of death coming after him, but the the this filthy uh uh things that that that surrounded him that made him afraid. He says, "The sorrows of hell shield surrounded me and the snares of that confronted me." He says, "In my distress, I called upon the Lord and I cried out to my God." And then if you go on to read on, he says that God heard his his cry from the temple. And look at verse seven says, "The earth shook and tremble." And it's important that you understand this because the earth is very much connected to spiritual warfare. The spiritual warfare takes place here on the earth. The battle may may have its origins up in there. That's where shield is at. That's where these things are at. But I want you to see that it was down here on the earth where God answer and moved. What does it say there? It says God shook the earth. I don't think this was a regular. It might have been that this was a regular u uh earthquake. But what this is saying is whatever this demonic thing that was rising out of the earth coming against David, God began to shake him. Then he says the foundations of the hills also quake and were shaken because he was angry. And then he talks about like God getting h smoke coming out of his mouth. And this is very important because it symbolizes the word of God. When God speak his word is like a fire. Isaiah says, "Isn't my word like a fire that sets stuff on fire?" Uh, you know, uh, stuff that that needs to be burned out. And he said, "My word like a hammer that breaks rocks into pieces." He says, "He bent down the heavens and came down." And then he says that, um, all of the things uh, verse 12, verse 13, the Lord thunder from heaven, the most high utter his voice, hailstones and calls of fire. And then he goes all the way uh to verse uh 15. The channels of the sea were seen. The foundations of the world were on cover at your rebuke Lord at the blast of the breath of your nostrils. So he's saying that he came under a demonic attack. A demonic attack that originated in hell itself. This is what David is saying. All of the things were coming up against me was like a flood of iniquity. Think of every vile thing you can ever think of. Have it all flowing through you at the same time. Plus at the same time having this fear like a a a spirit that is trying to snuff your life out and you're feeling all like choked to death by this thing. Did you know that more people wake up in the middle of the night frightened or panicked because things like that happen to them? There are people that cannot sleep on their beds. I know many people sit on their sofa with the TV on all night long because they cannot get into that deep area of sleep because that demonic attack is able to come in against them like that. So what we're going to talk about tonight, this is not part of the message, but I want you to see why it is so important to understand spiritual warfare because spiritual warfare does not prevent the enemy from attacking you. But it does enable God when we pray the prayer, when we call upon him to do what he needs to do to get us through and get us over the demonic attack. He says in verse 16, "He sent from above and he took me." Oh, I love that. He says, "God all of a sudden saw that David was in trouble and God just sent from above and took it. He drew me out of the many waters and he delivered me from my strong enemy." And look who the enemy was from those who hated me for they were too strong for me. Those who hated me. Did you know that Satan hates us with a passion? And did you know that Satan the people that he possesses or the people that he works through that hate can be vented out through them? Did you know that people will, especially family members or close friends, can hurt you a lot more than anybody else could ever will? And that's because when Satan is able to come into their their way of thinking, he can vent this hate. And that hate manifests itself through cursing words. I hate you. When that word is spoken like that with the passion that is spoken like that there's a torrent of death that is poured out through that and we need to understand that in the the real spiritual warfare those words have to be confronted in Isaiah 54:17 no weapon formed against me shall prosper meaning that and then it says every word that rises against you meaning that when a word is spoken that word is like a seed that wants to grow into a free, wants to prosper, wants to grow. And that's what Satan does. He speaks the light. And the more that that that light works in us and and and is reinforced by other people, the more hate and the more fear that it builds up on us. And those words have to be condemned. He says, "But every word that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn." Spiritual warfare is taking the words the Satan speaks against us and making them null and void saying that word is not going to take a stand against me. Now then David goes in it says verse 18 Psalm 18:18 they confronted me in the day of my calamity. You know what the day of your calamity is? Is when you're down. I believe I don't know I didn't research it but I believe that this psalm was written at the lowest part of David's uh sin. I believe like Psalm 51 he was confronted with his sin. That was the day of his calamity. Now David had many days to where he faced calamity. But when you're down, when you're the worst at the worst point in your life, when you're at your lowest point in your life, that is when Satan comes in and he will attack you. He will attack you. He will send that coil to to wrap around your neck and he he will bring those bitter words, those hateful words. He will bring everything he can to destroy you. And this is why we need to know how to call upon the Lord because David says that in the day of his calamity when he was confronted by the enemy, the Lord was his support. In verse 19, he also brought me out into a broad place. He delivered me because he delighted in me. The Lord delighted in David. And yet he was a sinful man. He was a man that failed. Now, here's the key. This is why I'm reading this before I teach the lesson. Here's the key that I want you to understand. It wasn't that David was perfect. It wasn't his calamity. It was brought upon probably by by sins that he did by something where he disobeyed God or some some act that he did because Satan is the accuser of the brethren. And every time we step out of line, he takes advantage of that and he comes like a flood trying to destroy us. But then look at verse 20 because this is the key that I want you to see. David is able to say this. The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands. He has recompensed me. Now, the very first thing that went through everybody's mind over here is, "Oh, man. I'm in trouble. I'm in trouble according to my righteousness." But no, this is why I prefaced that where David wasn't a perfect man. David sinned and that's why God allowed to sin. What was it that David was talking about the righteousness of my hand? Did you know that the difference between David and Saul, King Saul, the difference between the two is that Saul was never sure who the real God was. There was no doubt on David's heart who the real God was. He knew that God was Yahweh and he worshiped Yahweh. He prayed Yahweh. He was a a a a man like of flesh like we are. And he had a propensity toward sin. But never ever ever in his heart did he allow another god to take his place. How do I know that? Because when Saul felt abandoned, who did he go to? To the witch of Endor. Whatever you do, my friend, don't ever ever and if you have done it, repent and say, "Lord, I will never do that again." Never seek God through a medium. Never seek God through a fortune teller. never sink out through a saint or through a religious uh h ritual or item. We have to this is at the heart of spiritual warfare. We have to know who the real god is. The real god is a holy god and it's a jealous god. And when you get to to somebody else that imitates god, he doesn't like it. And when that time the of the uh demonic attack comes against you, you better know who the real god is. This is why I come so strong against Christmas and against Easter and all of these pagan rituals that have been uh instituted through the church through the centuries so that the church has no power. Why would the Lord when you say in the name of Jesus and and be healed and and why would the Lord heal it when we're worshiping a Jesus that is not the Jesus of the Bible? You know, if somebody comes and say, "Oh, happy birthday." Well, it's not my birthday today. you know, why would I accept that? And you see that that the church through traditions and through things has been polluted and to where people don't know who God is. You know, it is so easy for a Christian to go from uh uh from reading the Bible and getting the council of God to reading a fortune cookie and getting a revelation from the fortune cookie or reading their horoscope on the newspaper and say, "Oh, well, the Lord spoke to me through that." There's just no difference. We we don't realize it that God is a God that's pure and holy and that is the only thing that's going to keep our hands clean when we know who the real God is and when we pray to the real God. Amen. And the same way and and and it was the same way with u uh with Jonah. Jonah was a man that was in rebellion. And you can read in Jonah chapter 2. He was a man that was in rebellion. The same thing happened to him. the coil, the waters uh surrounded him. The the snares or the coils of hail shield went around him. And when God delivered him, he cried from the uh uh the belly of the fish with he had been dead for three days. He wasn't alive and he was dead. He went down to hell and he cried to the Lord from down in there and God answered him. And then he says, "God rewarded me according to the cleanliness of my hands." And you say, "Well, what do you mean cleanliness of my hand? you were in rebellion to God. God said, "Oh, go over there and you went this way." Well, because he believed that if he went where God went, that God would heal the people. And he didn't want those people to be healed. He believed God. He had faith. He knew who the real God was. And even though he was in rebellion to God, when he called to the real God, the real God answered. So, at the heart of uh spiritual warfare, at the heart of intercession is first of all the foundation. You better know who the real Jesus is. You better know who the real Jesus is. Not everybody that says Jesus or says Lord, Lord is talking about the Jesus you're talking about. Not everybody that's quoting the scripture is talking about the same Jesus of the Bible. And not everybody that is singing son to Lord Lord is singing to our Lord. You know that's that's what one of the Beatles tried to prove. Who was it? Uh uh what was his name? The no the other guy. Yeah, the one that died. George Harrison. Harrison. George George Harrison tried to prove Yeah. Thank you. But George Harrison tried to prove that anybody could sing to anything. So he wrote a song to Ham Maharaji in India. One of those new age guys or whatever. He My sweet lord. You guys probably remember that song. My sweet lord. My sweet lord. And people think thinking that he was singing it to the Lord Jesus Christ. No, he was singing it to some Maharachi over there in in India or Tibet some place. And he wanted to prove that all you have to do is put word the word Lord to it and everybody will go with it. And ever since that time we have all kinds of son says my sweet Lord my sweet Lord and they say Jesus and they say this and they say that and they're not of God. And if you're going to know about a spiritual warfare and intercession, you better know the real God because it's only in the name. That's the name that God responds to when hell comes after you. You better know you better know Jesus real number. You know, you don't want to get a wrong number. You don't want you don't want to dial Jesus and and and wind up, you know, with a with with with a house of ill repute, which that that is what the demonic thing is. Go to Ephesians Ephesians chapter 3 and we're going to deal with spiritual warfare. Spiritual warfare. Ephesians chapter 3 verse 10. And the reason why I I put that emphasis on that is because we need to know Jesus, the real Jesus. And you know there is a cost to knowing Jesus. In John uh chapter 6, as a matter of fact, 666 666, he says, "And many of the disciples turn away from Jesus." John 666. That's a sign of of And then uh uh the 12 disciples went to Jesus and and then Jesus said, "Aren't you going to leave me too?" He said, "Where, Lord? We left everything for you." And you know, you want to be with the real Jesus, give everything to the real Jesus. You got nowhere else to go when you run out of things. So, praise God. Ephesians chapter 3, 10. Now, how many of you know that you're the church, not the building? I mean, thank God for the building and thank God that we're out of the rain and out of the cold, but this is not the building that God dwells in. Back in the old days, they build the tabernacle and then later a temple and the glory of the Lord dwells in the tabernacle in the temple in the holy place in the holy of holies. The shikina glory of God would hover over there. But God says he was looking for a temple that is not made with human hands. Okay? And the temple is you and I. We are the church. When you confess Jesus Christ as your savior, God placed the Holy Spirit within within you as a deposit or as a guaranteed. In other words, there's a stamp in your spirit, the spirit man, the real spirit man. Your spirit man has ears. Not these ears are probably up in here. You know when you see Batman with a little ears up in there, this is your soul has ears. Uh your spirit has ears. Your spirit man is stamped. It says holy to the Lord is reserved. This is what happened when you were born again. Immediately your spirit was stamped with with a holy to the Lord in there meaning it belongs to God. That spirit is the one that that God now wants to that makes God dwell in us where we're the church. In other words, through his spirit, he he says in in John 16, he said, "Father, I will live in them and you will live in them." God and Jesus are both living in us through his spirit. It's just like taking a drop of water and dropping in a huge pool. We are the drop of water, the huge pool or the huge ocean is God. His spirit is in us. We belong to him. That makes us the church. That means that now we're the church. Now, why am I saying that? To the intent. Now, this is Ephesians 3:10. To the intent, now that the manifold wisdom is God, manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church. God has an intention for you. God intended something that he wanted to do through you and through me. When he saved us, he made us a church. The church is the body of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is a head. If you use the body as an example, he is the head. The head, he's sitting at the right hand of the father in heaven. We are his body here on the earth. Okay? And he has a purpose. That's what the word intent means to the intent that that means we have something that God intended for us to do here on earth. Okay? And we're talking about spiritual warfare. We're talking about bringing the kingdom of God here to the earth. Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done where? On the earth. Remember, he shook the earth. God shook the earth. When David was in spiritual warfare, God shook the earth. We are to bring the kingdom of God where to the earth. The kingdom of God is to be brought down to the earth. That's the intention for God for you and me. We are to bring the kingdom of God to the earth. That's God's intent for us. Okay? Okay. And so we read to the intent now that the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to principalities and powers in the where heavenly places. Okay, we're here on the earth. The earth is filling the consequences of the sin that is taking place where this principalities in power. And God says,"I want you to do something to this principality disempowered so I can bring my kingdom here to the earth." Spiritual warfare is about that. Spiritual warfare is about that. If we do not understand anything else, we need to understand that this has to uh be made known. Look, look at look at that again. to the intent now that the manifold wisdom of God might be made known. Might be made known. Meaning something has to be revealed. Something have to be brought out. Something have to be exposed. As a matter of fact, if you look right there, uh I'll just show you one of uh uh six uh where the word mystery appears. Uh Ephesians 6:19, Paul says, Ephesians 6:19, "And for me that utterance may be given to me." He's asking the Ephesians to pray for him. He says, "And for me that utterance might be given to me that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel." The church is to make something known. Okay. The word mystery appears in the Bible 22 times. If you look at in the King James version, the original King James version, which sticks to the most original uh as they translated it, you do not find the word mystery nowhere is in the Old Testament. Look it up. All the mysteries of God were hidden in the Old Testament. They could not be revealed because they're spiritual. They were hidden. It took Jesus to come in and to make the revelation known. And when Jesus came and made the revelation known, now in the New Testament, the word mystery appears 22 times. Why? Because the Hebrew alphabet has 22 letters. See, God created everything with 22 letters. That is a celestial uh uh alphabet. No vowels, no nothing. 22 letters. Everything that God ever spoke, he used those 22 letters. Okay? And so the 22 letters represents the completion of the creation of God. And it was hidden in the New Testament in the Old Testament and it is now revealed in the New Testament. Now 22 times appears in the 27 books of the New Testament. And on Ephesians alone, the word mystery appears six times. Six times appears. Why? Because Ephesians is a book about spiritual warfare and bringing revelation into how to do the revelation. This why Paul says uh pray for me that I may be bold and speak the mystery the hidden thing that which been hidden in the gospel. So, we have God intended for us to have as we go back to Ephesians 3:10, God intended for us to make known the manifold wisdom of God. We're to make it known. Now, we're going to break this down. So, first of all, we're going to we know that has to be spoken. We know that it's something that's hidden that has to be revealed. We know that the essence of spiritual warfare is speaking to these principalities and powers. So the first thing we want to deal with is principalities. Verse three, Ephesians 3:10 that to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be may be known by us the church to the principalities and powers. The word principality is a word that means arc. A ray is is a word in in Greek. A ray. And using those huge arches that that they would build in order to enter into a building. Okay, that's where the word arch comes from. Arch. Arch comes from ar meaning a principality or a covering or a ruling. One of the um dictionaries translated as a um a magistrate with jurisdiction over a specific area. A magistrate a magistrate is somebody like a judge that gets appointed and he has jurisdiction over a specific area over an area. Now the word jurisdiction meaning he has authority to speak. iction means words. He has whatever he speaks. See, you go to a court and if you did your your crime over here in in in women, you where you wind up at San Pedro there or or this there's there's a station over here. If you go to Quantum, there's somebody who has a jurisdiction there. If you go to Long Beach, there's a jurisdiction there. If you go to Ingldwood, and you see this judge in in in in Long Beach has no authority over Englewood. You see, his word has no power over there. But if you're in this land over here, he has authority over you. He has power to speak words. That's what jurisdiction means over the area where he's at. So Paul is saying God intended for you and for me to get a hold of the mystery of the gospel of Jesus Christ and to speak to that jurisdiction and tell him, I got something to say to you that is more powerful than whatever you've been saying over here. See, that's what spiritual warfare is. Spiritual warfare is taking the words that God has given us. Hallelujah. And speak to the arch. Now, why? Why? Because this arch or this principality, this arcade, they have authority to speak things against you, against your family, against your children, against your finances, against your health. They do. This is what Satan, he's the accuser of the brethren. He is continuously accusing. you don't deserve to have good health because you smoked for so many years or you did this for so many years and so he speaks like a judge would speak to say I'm putting out a warrant against Marcos and then the powers because you see he said to speak to the principalities and to the powers the powers now go on to enforce the word see they cannot come into your house when there's a Paul, they cannot come into your house without a warrant. Who gives a warrant? The jurisdiction, the principality, the person that has the power, the Joshua magistrate has power to speak and say, "Yes, go search his house." But you got your attorney, Jesus, who has a greater power, greater word. So then this magistrate, and the reason why I'm here tonight is because I'm speaking about the magistrate that's over women. There's a magistrate over this city and the dude ain't too happy with us because we're messing up his work. Okay? We're messing up his work. But God intended for us to mess up with him. God intended for us to break up this little party that he has going on over here. God intended for us to speak to those principalities and those powers that gang violence and rape and drive by shooting and drugs and alcohol and prostitution are coming down because that's what God intended for us to do. God intended for us to speak to those things. Now the word powers is the word exosa and it means delegated authority of superhuman strength or supernatural power meaning a delegated authority meaning just like Satan gets over there he's got his magistrate over this area and he's watching over and he looks at your family and man I'm I haven't messed with him for a while I'm going to mess with him some more and so he sends some some words against you and then all of a sudden this exosa powers, meaning uh delegated authority. They now have delegated authority from this magistrate to come in and to mess with you. They're going to begin to mess with your marriage. They're going to begin to mess with your family, with your health, with your finances, and they're going to do this thing. Why? Because that's what they have been ordered to do. Okay? But then hold your place here. We're coming back over here. This is such a mother load here. But go with me to Luke 10:19. And then let me show you how Jesus deals with this situation. Luke 10:19. Jesus says, "Behold, I give you the authority." Guess what that word is? Exosa. that delegated authority of superhuman nature or supernatural power. I give you exos. Now that is what the principalities give to the power. The principality speaks and those powers with supernatural powers of the superhuman power come in and begin to mess with you. Well, Jesus says, "I give you exosa to trample on serpents and scorpions." Those are demons in case you're wondering about how they crawl upon the ground upon the earth. I give you authority to trample on serpents and corp and over all the power of the enemy. And I love how it ends and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Now the word power there is dunamis. Dunamos. This is dynamite. That is the power that is manifested. Because you see, exose is delegated authority, but it's not manifested until, in other words, it's not manifested until you become sick. If Satan speaks exosa against you, he authorizes some creature of darkness to come against you. That thing is not manifested until it becomes real, until you become sick or until you get fire, until you fall from grace and and do all kinds of weird things that we don't want to do. Okay? That is how it manifests. That's dunamis. That's power that it forces us is a supernatural strength that causes us to do things we don't want to do. Paul says in in Romans 7:20, "If I do the things that I don't want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it's sin living in me." He says, "I find this power or this law at work within me that the good that I want to do, I cannot do. And the bad that I don't want to do, I can't keep from doing. What am I going to do?" Well, we're going to have to speak to that exosa or to that power with the authority that Jesus said, "I give you authority." Did you know that Jesus has been raised up? And you read that in Ephesians, far above all principalities, far above all powers. He is the head honcho. He is a head honcho over every head honcho there is anywhere. And he has given us authority to speak. He has given us authority to speak. He has given us jurisdiction. He has given us jurisdiction. He has given us authority to speak to the principalities in power. Now a lot of us know that. But what we don't know is we don't know what to say. Why? Because it's a mystery. It's been hidden for all of these years and now all of a sudden it is revealed. It's called the manifold wisdom of God. We God intended for us, we the church to make something known to these principalities and power. And this something that we're to make known to them is a manifold wisdom of God. You say, well, what in the world is that? What is the manifold wisdom of God? Manifold wisdom of God is like a manora. This represents the Holy Spirit. The nine uh uh you have the nine uh fruits of the spirit. love, joy, peace, longs, suffering, gentleness, meekness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control, and then you have the uh uh the nine uh gift of the spirit uh word of wisdom, word of knowledge, discernment of spirit, speaking in tongue, interpreting tongues, prophesying, miracles, divine healing, and and divine power. All of the things are represented uh Matthew 5 3- 11, nine spiritual blessings. Well, here God, this manifold wisdom that God is speaking about, although they all fold flow through the Holy Spirit, comes in a seven in a minority. That's what manifold means. A a sevenfold something God has given us. He's being hidden all through the Old Testament and it is now revealed by the Holy Spirit. Let's go to Isaiah. And I believe we'll come back over here. So, you may want to mark it, but let's go to Isaiah 11. And then we'll see how this operated in Jesus because Isaiah is prophesying about Jesus in in Isaiah 11:1 and 2. Now here in in Isaiah chapter 11, Isaiah begins to prophesy about Jesus when he would come. He said, "There shall come forth a rod from the stem of Jesse. A branch shall grow out of his roots." Verse two. And this is this is what the manifold wisdom of God is. The spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him. The spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. Now remember, before Jesus went into the ministry, he went to John the Baptist. John the Baptist says, "Behold the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world." John the Baptist wanted to be baptized by Jesus. Jesus says, "No, it has to be done this way." As Jesus is baptized, meaning he's reckoning himself as one of us. He is coming. He's bringing himself down as a priest, a minister. He's coming down to our level. When Jesus took his robe, see, Jesus was born a king. He was worshiped as a king. When he was born, he was brought the gift of a king. And for those 12 years uh uh for those 33 years from from from that age up until when he was 30 years old, Jesus could not be touched by Satan. He could not be touched because he was a king. He is a mighty king. Any any demons that would come anywhere, Jesus will be splattered instantly in in the middle. He is a king. But when Jesus said Jesus said, "I I have come to do your will, oh father, because you were tired of of uh uh goats and bulls and the sacrifices. So you prepare a body for me." When he brought that body and he said to John the Baptist, "We have to do it this way." When Jesus took that robe in the spirit, that meant that he took his kingship. He identified himself with you and me. Because the only people that were going to John to be baptized were the sinners, were the prostitutes, were the beggars, were the the the rich of the world. They were all they John was saying, "Repent. The kingdom of God is coming." They didn't want to miss it. Said, "We live in misery and in pain and sorrow. I don't want to miss." So they were repenting. So Jesus comes and he identifies with him. And when Jesus goes onto the water and he comes up, God speaks. He says, "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased." From that day forward, Jesus walked as a priest, not as a king. He will come back as a king. And we got a glimpse of his kingship when he went up into in in into h into into the mount of transfiguration and he shone in radiance. But no, Satan, he he he was open season for Satan. From that time on, Satan came after him and came after him and tempted him with everything. He says Satan uh Satan te Previous Next Home
- BEHOLD, THE LAMB OF GOD | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

BEHOLD, THE LAMB OF GOD Minister Lisa Kane January 19, 2025 Objective: The objective of this message is to help believers gain a deeper understanding of Jesus as the Lamb of God, whose sacrificial death fulfills the Old Testament foreshadowing of the Passover lamb. It seeks to strengthen faith in the power of His blood to redeem, protect, and deliver from destruction, while encouraging believers to walk daily in the assurance of His covenant and covering. Synopsis: This teaching explores the meaning and significance of John’s proclamation, “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). It explains how Jesus’ role as the sacrificial Lamb was foreshadowed in the Passover account of Exodus, where the blood of the lamb marked the homes of Israel for protection from the destroyer. The message draws connections between the Old Testament shadow and the New Testament fulfillment, showing how Jesus’ crucifixion, His shed blood, and the Last Supper instituted the new covenant. Just as the Israelites were preserved by the lamb’s blood on their doorposts, believers today are covered by the blood of Christ, which speaks a better word than Abel’s blood and causes destruction, curses, and judgment to pass over. Through the cross, Jesus fulfilled the law, redeemed humanity, and provided believers with protection, pardon, and victory. Communion is presented as a continual reminder of His sacrifice and covenant, sealing believers under His covering. The message closes with a call to humility, repentance, and faith, urging listeners to stand firm in Christ’s redeeming blood and look forward to His return—not only as the Lamb but also as the coming King. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and I'm recording this message on Sunday, January 19th, 2025. Welcome. Glad you can join us. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word. Let your word not return void. And Father God, I pray that we have a better understanding of the blood of the lamb. That we have a better understanding of your hedge of protection around us. that we can walk and believe in the anointing of your word and know that you've got our back and that we can speak your word and that we can walk away from destruction. Thank you, Lord, for opening our minds to this and bringing up our level of faith. Thank you, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. I'm very excited about this message. This is called Behold the Lamb of God. Let's go to our opening scripture here. John 1:29. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him and say, "Behold the lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world." Ah, he takes away the sin of the world. I love that. So, let's stop for a minute though and think about this for a moment because John knew something that the Israelites should have known and they didn't know. You see, John saw him as the lamb of God and said, "He's coming to take away the sin of the world." But all the Israelites, I think all of them if not most of them were expecting a king. And Jesus said, "No, no, no. He he came as the lamb of God, but he took he came as a king as well, but he took the kingdom off for a moment. Went to the cross and died as the lamb of God, shedding his blood and redeeming us, taking away the sin of the world, which is what John prophesied because it had to be done. So what is the lamb of God? What why did that happen first? Because you know Jesus is coming back a second time and he's coming as king and he didn't the first time which perplexed the Israelites. They don't understand it but God he explains it and Jesus explained it and he's showing us what he is as the lamb of God. So, let's look at who the lamb of God is and what he did did for us because when you get it, oh my goodness gracious, you you're just you're going to understand that the destroyer can never ever touch you. Oh, this is good. So, let's go to Exodus. Let's look at the Passover because the lamb of God is Passover. So, we're going to start here in Exodus 12 3 and 6. Speak ye unto the congregation. Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel. God is talking to Moses. So, he's telling Moses saying, "In the 10th day of this month, they shall take to them every man a lamb according to the house of their fathers a lamb for a house." Now, uh he explains more. You can go read the whole chapter. I don't have the whole time to to read the chapter here, but I would like to encourage you to do it. He's going to tell you how much of a lamb you may need. You may have to share with your neighbor. Let's say you're only two people in one house, so you know, you can't eat an entire lamb, but you're going to have to eat it all. So the whole point of having this lamb is to eat it all. So go down to verse six. And ye shall keep it until the 14th day of the same month. And the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. Wait, wait, wait, wait. So you tell Moses, I want you all to take a lamb into your house. They bring a lamb into their house and that lamb is there for four days and then you have to kill it. which is Jesus came down to the earth and he was here for a while. We kept him on the earth. He was here. He kept himself here and then he had to be crucified. Killed. Well, the lamb is killed in each household. Now, the Now, remember, let's let's do a little overall hierarchy stuff here for just a moment. The Old Testament is a shadow of where Jesus was coming. man going and going to do what he was going to do. It shadowed it. It foretold us but a mystery. Whereas the New Testament reveals all the mystery. But the other part of this is that on the earth, everything on the earth is a shadow of everything in heaven. So like uh Moses had to create or uh yeah make create uh the ark of the covenant which has a mercy seat on it. Well, in the heavens there is an ark of the covenant. There's an arc and on there is the mercy seat. And by the way, the blood of Jesus is on that mercy seat. It's also on the one on earth. So this is they they're interacted with one another. So going back to look at the lamb of God, the lamb that the Israelites had to use to come out of Egypt. This is very important. So let's read a little bit more about uh what's going on and why God is setting up this Passover. Uh verse 7. And they shall take of the blood and strike it on the two sideposts and on the upper doorpost of the house houses wherein they shall eat it. And they shall eat the flesh in that night. Roast with fire and unleaven bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. So he's saying need you to kill the lamb. Then I want you to take its blood, put it on each of the sidepost. And then I want you to put it on the lentil. And then I want you to eat it all. So we have Jesus who went to the cross. you know, he he went to the cross and he he died. Um, and his body was broken and he was he bled and we take holy communion where we take the unleaven bread or a cracker and we break it. It's bruising. It's got discoloration on it when you bake it. So, it looks like it's bruised. And then you partake of that. You eat it symbolically. you drink of the wine which is the symbol of his blood. This is what he did with the um the last supper. So, and he did it before he went to the cross. So, he was showing him what needed to be done. Well, keep in mind they were shown this at the Passover. So, let's continue on here in verse 12. For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night. What's going on here? Because let's look at this. Now, if you read everything, the the Egyptians had 10 plagues against them. So, we're talking about the 10th plague, the nine plagues, the lice, the frogs, and so forth. You can go read about the plagues. The 10th plague, God is coming in to take the firstborn son of all the people and of all the land. So firstborn cow, male cow, he was taken. Um if he but God who says he's going to do all this, he said, "I need to protect you, Israel." So he's giving Israel some protection because God says, "My spirit is coming to destroy." He's going to take the firstborn. Why? Why does the firstborn need to be taken? Do you remember what Pharaoh did? He told the midwives to kill all the maleborn children of Israel because they thought they were getting too great because they were slaves and they couldn't control them any longer. And so now God decides to demonstrate his power by hardening Pharaoh's heart. And so he sent these 10 plagues and the 10th one was the killer. This was the one. But see, God has to send his destroyer to everyone. The law is for everyone. Not just for Jesus to fulfill it and for us to let it go. Okay, let's read these scriptures. Let's keep that in the back of our mind as we read these scriptures. I really want you to get this. For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast. and against all the gods of Egypt, I will execute judgment. I am the Lord, and the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt." Okay? Want you to get this. So he's telling them, "Put the blood on your doorpost and on the lentil and you go inside your home. You stay there." So during the night, the spirit of the Lord, spirit of destruction, the destroyer comes and he takes all the firstborn sons that were in a home or out in the field that were not covered or in the doorway of the blood. Okay, let's look a little further about this because I want you to get it. In um Luke says, "Now the feast of unleven bread drew nigh which is called the Passover." So when God passed over these houses, his spirit passed over the houses, it became a feast, a celebration that they needed to celebrate. So the Israelites, they have the blood covering over them every year by putting the blood on their post and on their lentil. And the spirit of God passes over them. So Jesus is the lamb of God. He's the lamb that had to be killed. It was in their feast. But you know, remember the Old Testament is a mystery. So they didn't understand what was going on. So as Jesus came and he had the last supper with his disciples, he's the Passover. So he's becoming the Passover. Let's take a look at that last supper a little bit more. 22 Luke 22:es 1 and 2 and then verse 7. Now the feast of unleven bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover, and the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him, for they feared the people. Then came the day of unleven bread when the Passover must be killed. So Jesus is going to be killed on Passover because he is the Passover lamb. And keep in mind uh Caiaphas, he's the one who kind of prophesied we need to kill the one before it ruins the many. So this is if you go read all of that that's in John, you'll be able to see all the manipulation, everything that's going on, but not just like by the Pharisees and the priests, but by Jesus, too. He's manipulating the whole thing to make certain he gets to that cross. That was his agenda. You see, he came, yes, as a king, but he had to lay down his kingdom and stand up as the lamb of God and take away the sin of the world first, which is what he did. Luke 22:14. And when the hour was come, he sat down and the twel apostles with him. And he said unto them, with desire, I have desired to eat the Passover with you before I suffer. For I say unto you, I will not anymore eat thereof until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. And he took the cup and gave thanks and said, Take this and divide it among yourselves. For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God shall come. And he took bread and gave thanks and broke it and gave unto them saying this is my body which is given for you this do in remembrance of me. This or likewise also the cup after supper saying this cup is the new testament in my blood which is shed for you. Now we know that he just had holy communion with his disciples the last supper. So he says, "Break this is my body." And then he says, "Drink this is my blood." Now we know he got to the cross. We know he was crucified. He um had a crown of thorns placed on his head. He was scorged or whi whipped in his back, 39 lashes I believe it is, and he was torn up in his back. Uh they had nailed his hands and his feet to the cross, and he bled from those areas. But and and the whole point of the cross, by the way, is suffocation at its crulest, if you ask me. But basically, when they pin your feet down, there's a little um shelf for you to be able to push yourself up because when you are on the cross and you let you loosen your muscles, it compresses the lungs. You can't breathe. So, in order to breathe, you had to push yourself up, take a breath, and then collapse. And it got harder and harder because every time you push yourself up on a broken heel, bruised heel. If you go look at the curses against the Satan in Genesis, you will see that Jesus heel was bruised. Well, when he pushes himself up on that bruised heel that's hurting, it's in he's in pain. He's in a lot of pain. He has to take his breath in that pain and then come down. Now, what's going on in his body is a whole lot of things. He's suffocating, which his heart is working twice as fast, if not quadruple fast. You know, it's moving to try to get enough oxygen to the brain to keep the brain alive. So, the rest of the body starts shutting down. And it got to the point where the the um heart is pumping so fast, so hard that the water and the blood separate. So when the centurion came because they could not have people uh on the cross for Passover, he broke the legs of the two thieves and then he stabbed Jesus because he it looked like Jesus was already dead. So he is just going to make certain. So he stabs him in his side and blood and water flowed. And when that blood hit the ground, it shook the ground. And with that cross standing there, it split the ground. That blood went down into the ground and it landed on the mercy seat. The uh ark of the covenant on the earth is hidden underneath that cross and the mercy seat landed there. It was also placed on the mercy seat in heaven. And Jesus took away the sin of the world. Now what does that mean? What where does this go? Because I want you to see something here that I think is powerful. Let's read the next scripture first. Says Hebrews 4:12:24, "And to Jesus the mediator." He's the go-between of the new covenant contract and to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things than that of Abel. Abel is the when you are killed, your blood is on the ground and it is calling out to God for revenge. Avenge me. Avenge me. Well, that avenging needs to be met. So, God hears that. We don't, but he does. So here, he had to come and now shed his own blood. So what does this do? You see, God has his law. He can't take the law back. The law is the law, and someone had to meet that law. Well, no, none of us could. You can try as hard as you can to follow the Ten Commandments. I'm going tell you right now, you're going to fail. The Ten Commandments tells us we're failures. But Jesus says, "I'm not a failure. I'll fulfill it." And here's what he did. So when he, the lamb, the lamb of God, got up on the cross and shed his blood, he said, "I want you to put my blood on the post of your door of your heart and on the lentil of your heart. and I'm going to pass over you when it comes to judgment for sin. That's what the lamb of God is. We have the blood of the lamb over us. Now, how does this work? Let's let's look at this. remember uh Rahab and um the walls of Jericho coming down. Remember what the spies told her to do? Put a scarlet red thread out your window. And see when the Israelites, the priest, and they sh they blew the trumpet and they shouted and the walls came tumbling down. The only wall that did not come tumbling down was Rahab. And she had her whole father's household in there with her. They survived and they were able to come out cuz there's a spirit of destruction that went against the walls of Jericho and those walls had to fall. But because that destroying spirit had to go hit all the walls, the destroying spirit knows that if it sees the blood, it sees the red, it has to pass over. It's required by God because that's how the rule is set up. The rule is set up that if I deserve death against me because maybe I killed somebody and that death is supposed to come against me because it's a curse. It comes back at you. A lot of people don't understand the curses. But when that curse comes back at you, if you have the blood of Jesus over your heart, it has to pass over you because that is what the new covenant, the new contract is all about. So when we partake of holy communion and we take that bread and we re we do this in remembrance of what Jesus did on the cross. We're remembering him on the cross. We're seeing him on the cross. We're remembering everything he went to. That tells us he's going to pass over us. That's what holy communion is about. That's what the lamb of God is. This is what he had to do first. And this is a good thing because I'm going to tell you right now, there's so many curses that are coming against us. We are living in a land of sin. We are vexed by what's going on out here. But all those consequences have to pass over us because we have the blood of the lamb on us. Oh, this is awesome. Hebrews 10:12-17. But this man, after he offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God, from henceforth, expecting till his enemies be made his foottool. For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified, or to made made holy, made holy. We are made holy because of his one sacrifice. Continuing on in verse 15, whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us. For after that he had said before, this is the covenant contract that I will make with them after those days, sayeth the Lord. I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them, and their sins or offense, and iniquities or illegality will I remember no more. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. He is the lamb of God and he passes over us and he doesn't remember our sins and illegalities anymore. We are legal. You see the blood of the lamb had to fulfill the law. So it had to go on the post had to go on the lentil of that gateway so that when the destruction was coming, woo, that destruction stopped and says there's blood here. I can't go that way. I have to pass over. Meaning, you cannot be destroyed. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the church. You are the church. By the way, your body is the temple of God. So now when you take holy communion, your heart's post has the blood on the left and the right and on the lentil and nothing can come against you. Nothing can break through. It has to pass over because these are God's destructions. God is the He's the spirit of the Lord is the Lord that comes in. The spirit that comes in to destroy. He's gonna destroy. He goes after, but you have protection against that because he says, "I give you my son and I give his blood to redeem you, to pardon you, to free you. You are covered with that blood and you do not have any more destruction against you." What is destruction? What is destroying? Cancer kills. Sickness kills. financial issues kill. But God says, "I will pass over you because behold the lamb of God. Jesus our redeemer came and he shed his blood for us, for you and me. He is the lamb of God. He fulfilled the law. He gave us a way out. He pardoned us. He redeemed us. Does this mean I go on continuing to sin? I do my best to stop. But I'm in the flesh. But here's the thing that I can take from this. When I know that the destroyer can't mess with me, that means I can't die from that. I love it when Paul says, "Oh, death or death were interesting." Which he's quoting the Old Testament. And I don't remember who he's quoting, but you can go look that up. When he says that, that's the most powerful thing because now we come to the realization as a believer in Christ, this stuff can't get me. Remember, what's on the earth is a shadow of what's in heaven. So when Jesus says, "I give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth is loose in heaven." The two work together. And in the heaven, the blood of the redeemer of the lamb of God is already on the mercy seat. And that blood is over you, causing the destroyer to pass over you. You no longer have to deal with the corrupt. In fact, you can wake up every morning. His mercies are new every morning. And you can stand there and says, you know what? I'm going to have a great day. And I'm going to have this great day because the Lord has provided it. He's already blessed today. I'm on his side and he's got his covering protecting me. So, whoever's talking behind your back about you or who's ever trying to bring you down or who's ever trying to attack you mentally, physically, whatever the situation may be, guess what? You get to look up and say, "Behold the lamb of God. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Jesus is the son of God. Jesus's blood is on the doorpost and the lentil of me. So I am inside the house because I'm a temple of God. I'm on the inside of the house and the doors are covered with the blood of Jesus and no destroyer. Nothing can get me. Nothing can touch me. I hope you get this. And if things happen, they're happening now for a reason. Meaning God is up to something with you. He's talking to you. He's trying to get your attention. And whatever the situation may be that you're dealing with, the first thing always, always, always the first thing, humble yourself before the Lord. Go before him and say, "I'm sorry. I messed up." You see, once you do that, that's where that destroyer has to back off. the attack has to back up. You know what? I had CO I had CO uh at Christmas time at the end of that year. And I remember I put up a Christmas tree and I the Lord clearly told me not to do it and I did it anyways. And uh I I was sick as a dog. I mean I was I was sick and those three days I and I was praying and humbling. Okay, let me just simply say I was praying and I couldn't really cry too hard because I couldn't breathe. That was my issue. I couldn't breathe. I don't know. I I I'm just like, Lord, you know, I I'm having to trust in you on this. I need you, but if you're going to take me, don't let me suffer. Just take me and send me home. And there I am repenting, humbling myself because that's what we're supposed to do. That's what the scriptures tells. I want you to come back. He says, "Come back. come back. So 3 days in and I remember I don't remember was that evening or the next morning but I think it was that evening I all of a sudden I was like breathing fine and it was almost like instantaneous and it was even weirder because it felt like in my lungs like I couldn't um get to because I was shallow breathing those three days. I couldn't breathe any it was like a there was a a barrier there. I couldn't get past this barrier. But three days, all of a sudden, I can get past this barrier. And then, of course, you have to retrain your lungs to get back to breathing. So, I was having to breathe deep, was taking that inhaler, try to get the medicine down into the bottom of my lungs, but I was it it it almost cleared up instantly. I was like, "Wow, thank you, Lord." And my life has changed drastically since then. You know, I am definitely being obedient to the word of God. And I was like, "Okay, Lord, you want me to be this way? I want to be this way too. He wants to bless me. I want his blessings. You see, I know that he is my creator. I know that he has made a way for me to come out of the consequences because I'm going to tell you right now, we were born and conceived in sin. So, I know that Jesus took care of that and it was a free gift. So now I get to come before him and humble myself before him and say thank you. And that's what I do. He's my redeemer. He's the lamb of God first. Now he's coming back as king. And boy, do I look forward to that day. I don't look forward to what's going to happen in between. But the end result is that God has a plan. And that end plan is drastic. So eventually all of us are going to end up on the other side. So the question is where do you want to end up on the other side? You want to end up in the presence of God in heaven or do you want to end up in hell? Do you want to blame all this on him and just you know it's his fault. That's between you and God. You have the right to do that if you want. You're angry with him. You hate him or whatever. You go talk to him. He wants to hear from you. But have an open mind when you find out the truth and you realize the truth and that he is your lord over your heart and so that your gate, your body is covered by the blood of Jesus. Make sure you take your holy communion too. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word. Thank you. Your word will not return void. You are holy. You are the son of God. You're king of kings. You are lord of lords. And you have fulfilled your duty. Your father asked you to do. And it is such a simple matter. Your will is for us to believe. All we need to do is believe. And I believe. I believe that you are the son of God. I believe that you are my redeemer. and I believe that you're going to raise me from the dead when my turn comes. I believe in you and I look forward to meeting you face to face. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. God bless you. I will see you in the next message. Bye-bye. Home Previous Next
