SIMON MAGUS To reveal the contrast between the deceptive power of sorcery and the true power of the Holy Spirit, using the biblical account of Simon Magus as a warning for today’s church. This lesson aims to equip believers with discernment against false prophets, manipulative teachings, and secular deceptions that seek to undermine God’s truth. SIMON MAGUS Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: To reveal the contrast between the deceptive power of sorcery and the true power of the Holy Spirit, using the biblical account of Simon Magus as a warning for today’s church. This lesson aims to equip believers with discernment against false prophets, manipulative teachings, and secular deceptions that seek to undermine God’s truth. Synopsis: In Acts chapter eight, the story of Simon Magus provides a vivid illustration of the clash between counterfeit power and God’s true anointing. Simon, a sorcerer in Samaria, had long deceived the people into believing that his magical abilities were a divine gift. However, when Philip preached Christ and demonstrated genuine miracles, Simon himself believed, was baptized, and followed the ministry. Yet his true motives were revealed when he attempted to buy the apostolic gift of imparting the Holy Spirit. The rebuke from Peter—“Your money perish with you!”—established once and for all that the power of God is not for sale, nor can it be manipulated by human schemes. This event also foreshadows the rise of false apostles and counterfeit ministries, which even in the early church, sought to exploit God’s truth for gain. Pastor Marcos draws parallels to today, where secular predictions, manipulative doctrines, and counterfeit “prophecies” distract believers from the unchanging Word of God. From Simon Magus to modern-day distortions—whether false prophecies about the end times, pseudoscientific theories elevated above Scripture, or ministries that commercialize the anointing—the pattern remains the same: deception thrives when truth is compromised. Believers are reminded that truth and falsehood cannot mix; the moment truth is diluted by lies, it ceases to be truth. The call of this lesson is urgent: “Wake up before it is too late.” The body of Christ must guard against deception by holding fast to the uncompromised Word of God, discerning true prophetic voices, and resisting the allure of secular philosophies masquerading as truth. Only God’s pure Word, empowered by the Holy Spirit, can preserve the church in these perilous times and prepare it for Christ’s imminent return. Inspired Teaching: Acts 8:9-11 “But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery (magic) in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great, to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, ‘This man is the great power of God.’ And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries (magic) for a long time.” In Acts chapter eight we are privy to a real life encounter between the power of darkness that flowed through Simon the magician, and the power of light demonstrated through the apostolic anointing that flowed through Simon Peter. Sometimes it takes a real fake to recognize what the real thing is. When I described the power flowing through Simon the magician as fake, I do not mean that his power was not real or that it was not great, what I mean is that it wasn’t from God. Acts 8:5-8 “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city.” Did Simon Magus really believe that his power was from God? Maybe, but whether he was deceived or complicit in the matter at this time, is not what’s important here. Because when Simon saw the great miracles that flowed out of Philip’s ministry, we are told that he also believed the message that Philip was preaching, He, Simon the magician, was baptized and followed Philip’s ministry. Acts 8:13 “Then Simon himself also believed; and when he was baptized he continued with (follow) Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs that were done.” The difference between magic and the real thing is that in magic the magician makes you believe something that is not real, through his manipulation of reality, while the real thing is always self-evident. The way it works is, if the magician or sorcerer can make people believe that his power comes from the real God, then the people’s own faith in the real God will heal them, while he, the magician or sorcerer takes credit for the miracles. So that Simon Magus had no problem recognizing, number one that, the miracles that were flowing out of Philip’s ministry were the real thing, and number two, that Philip had greater abilities than the ones that he, Simon Magus possessed, and that is why he followed Philip. Acts 8:14-19 “Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, saying, ‘Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.’” Here we see what Simon Magus saw from his perspective, the source of Philip’s power came from the laying on of the apostles’ hands. After all, Jesus had told His apostles, “You will receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” In Simon Magus thinking, if you can own the source of the power, then you can control it, and give or sell it to whomever you want to. Isn’t that how some ministries try to operate today? Their desire is to control the actions of the Holy Spirit, and in some instances, for the right price or service, the anointing can be given as reward for their faithfulness to their ministry, or so they think. Acts 8:20 “But Peter said to him, ‘Your money perish with you, because you though that the gift of God could be purchase with money!’” Peter’s rebuked of Simon Magus establishes once and for all that God’s apostolic anointing cannot be earn nor manipulated, it is a direct result of God’s sovereign calling and empowerment. Which leads me into the reason why I am writing this lesson on the first place. Revelation 2:2 “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars.” In the early church there was a flood of ministers that claimed to have the apostolic calling and did not, Simon Magus being one of them. Simon Magus has a long secular history of trickery and manipulation that he perpetrated against the church, while he claimed to be part of it, in spite of Peter’s rebuke against him. That same spirit, whose root is magic, or sorcery, is alive and well today, causing many of the saints to lose heart because of the ways that it manipulates the truth, especially as it pertains to prophecy. Mark 13:5 “...Take heed that no one deceives you.” As the return of Jesus draws near, the propaganda and manipulation against God’s prophetic truth is in high gear, as Jesus warned us. The airwaves are filled with so called prophecies of non-biblical origin, that pretend to be in the same, or even in some cases higher level, than that of biblical prophecies. Their intent of course is to equate secular prophecies with true biblical prophecy, so that when the false prophecies fail, people will fill the same way about biblical prophecy. Recent examples can be found in the end of time predictions that were attributed to the Mayan calendar, which got more credence with secular prophets than any biblical true prophet ever did. The same way with the Nostradamus predictions and the many others put forth, that were in many cases, a manipulation or private interpretation of some old sayings. The most recent case being that of the, I believe, Irish monk of many centuries ago named Malachy, that’s supposed to have predicted the names and order of the pope’s that lived and ruled long after his death. He is supposed to have predicted that the pope that was just installed is to be the last pope before Christ’s return, and that his name was to be, I believe, Peter Romanus, of course the newly elected pope selected to go by the name Francis, so there goes that “prophecy”. John 8:31-32 “...If you abide in My word, you are My disciples. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” I know that the temptation to go with secular speculation is great, but we must resist it, because it is, simply put, a manipulation of God’s truth, designed for no other reason than that of undermining the veracity of God’s true prophetic words. Revelation 3:2-3 “Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.” NIV We the church, the body of Jesus Christ, are living in what can truly be described as perilous times, for us the church. Which have come as a result of us elevating secular teachings to the same level as God’s biblical truth, and in some cases higher than biblical truths. For instance, many Christians believe that evolution is part of the creation process due to the secular teaching that the earth is billions of years old. If one follows along those lines of trying to appease secularism, then before long you wind up believing that the resurrection from the dead is nothing more than a metaphor instead of a reality. I wonder how many of those secular humanists have woken up to the reality of hell and then realized that it was too late for them. Wake up! Before is too late for you. In the same way that Simon Magus manipulated truth and made people believe that he was someone great, by the “miracles” that he projected, there are many “miracle” workers today, especially in the scientific arena, that make claims and boasts of things that are nothing more that assumptions based on their distortion of reality. Do you really think that if secular humanists discover something that confirms the truth that the Word of God teaches, that they will tell you? If you do, you do not know the lying ways of devil at all, nor how his manipulative schemes work. You will not know at what time I will come to you. The above verse captures the essence of what the lying spirits of this world are trying hard to accomplish. They are hard at work trying to prevent Christians from knowing the signs of the time. Truth and falsehoods can never combine, I mean, lies mix with anything, but truth can never be corrupted. Truth will never endorse a lie. That is what the temptation of Jesus by the devil was all about. Satan was saying to Jesus, if you endorse (worship) me, I will give to you back everything that I stole from Adam and You won’t have to die on the cross to get it. Well as you know, Jesus who is Truth would not endorse the lie (the devil) even at the cost of dying on the cross for our sins. So that when Christians entertain the falsehoods and perversions of this world, and try to mix them with the Word of God’s Truth, so that they fit in together nicely, guess what happens, the truth is not in them anymore, and when that happens, they do not have a clue as to what’s coming their way. 1 John 2:4-5 “He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, (or stays true to God’s Word) is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (truth will not mix with any form of lies) But whoever keeps His Word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.” The only thing that will protect God’s church from the evil time that we are living in, is His pure unvarnished Word, His Truth, and the revelation and enlightenment that they provide to us when we do not compromise His Word. Look all around you, as a believer, do you yearn for days past when God’s anointing was palpable in so many of His houses of worship. Where has the anointing gone? So many Christians wonder today what happened to it, it left the minute they believed the lie, the second they compromised the truth. Yet that anointing never left the true believers that hold true to God’s Word, however it left with them, as they left their dead churches behind. 1 John 2:20-21 “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know (because you have not compromise God’s truth) all things. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and (you know as well) that no lie is of the truth.” It’s true that there is a great deal of contamination out there, and that there are many so called leaders, both secular and in the church, that do not have a clue as to their true spiritual condition. So, it falls upon us to pray and to interceded on their behalf, let our prayers for them be in accordance with Scripture, Ephesians 5:14. Wake up sleepy heads, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light! My version. Let us remember that the only thing that is going to keep us from the hour of testing that is soon coming to test all the inhabitants of the world, is our firm belief in the veracity of God’s Infallible Word, and an uncompromising belief in the deity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and His physical resurrection from the dead. Revelation 3:8/10 “…(you) Have kept My Word, and have not denied My Name (His deity) ...I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell in the earth.” Previous Next Home
- THE LORD’S REFINING FIRE | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
THE LORD’S REFINING FIRE To explain the biblical concept of God’s refining fire as it relates to sin, judgment, and redemption, showing how humanity’s “sin debt” is dealt with through Christ’s sacrifice, and how God’s refining judgments prepare both individuals and nations for His coming kingdom. The goal is to urge listeners to embrace salvation during the age of grace rather than face judgment during the refining fire of God’s wrath. THE LORD’S REFINING FIRE Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: To explain the biblical concept of God’s refining fire as it relates to sin, judgment, and redemption, showing how humanity’s “sin debt” is dealt with through Christ’s sacrifice, and how God’s refining judgments prepare both individuals and nations for His coming kingdom. The goal is to urge listeners to embrace salvation during the age of grace rather than face judgment during the refining fire of God’s wrath. Synopsis: This teaching draws from Jeremiah 9:7 and other Scriptures to reveal God’s process of refining and judgment. It begins by addressing the question of why God delays judgment despite ongoing evil, pointing to His timing and the principle of “sin as debt” that must run its course before judgment is executed. Through Christ’s death and resurrection, believers have their sin debt marked “paid in full,” and thus escape the final judgment. Those who reject Christ, however, remain subject to God’s refining fire when His grace period ends. The coming tribulation is described as a global refining process where billions will perish, yet even then God offers a final chance to repent. The message contrasts the ease of receiving salvation now with the unimaginable difficulty of being saved during the time of God’s wrath, when faith may require martyrdom. Ultimately, God’s refining fire is not only about judgment but also preparation for a new eternal reality where obedience, peace, and joy will define life. The teaching closes with an urgent appeal: there is nothing in this world worth missing heaven for. Believers are being prepared for eternal glory, and the wise will choose Christ now, before the refining fire consumes the earth. Inspired Teaching: Jeremiah 9:7 “...Behold, I will refine them and try them…” One of the most misunderstood subjects for both secular and Christian people, revolves around the events that precede the return of our Lord Jesus to set up His kingdom age upon the earth and over its inhabitants. From our perspective we see our Lord returning to the earth to punish all the evil doers for all the evil that they perpetrate, and then we ask ourselves, why now? I mean, the evil doers basically never left, they were here back then, and they are still here now, and they have never stopped doing their evil deeds. So, in a way we ask ourselves what is it that changes? So that we need to understand how God’s timing works. Genesis 15:16 “But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.” We need to understand that God sees sin, which includes iniquity and transgression, as a debt, we also need to comprehend that judgment, which is inflicting punishment upon the debtors, cannot be executed until the agency that is in charge of collecting the payment for the debt, has exhausted all its allotted time for collecting the debt. Then and only then, can the judgment, repossession of the property that is indebted, is allowed to take place. In the case of us humans, we are all indebted to God with a debt of sin that not a single one of us could ever repay. Our personal time for repaying our own debt of sin runs out when we die, as it is written: It is appointed unto men once to die and then comes the judgment. John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” Notice how a believer, one who heard the Gospel, hears My word, and believes on Jesus as his/her savior, even though alive at present, God considers such a person already dead and judged, his/her personal debt of sin is marked paid in full by the work of redemption that Jesus accomplished after He died on the cross, and when that person dies, they just go straight into the presence of the Lord, as it is written: John 11:26 “And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” Every person has been allotted a lifetime, most of us do not know how much time we have before we die, to deal with our sin debt problem, regardless of how much time the world has left before it is judged for its debt of sin to God. If we have not personally dealt with our sin debt when the time comes for the world to be judged, then we will be judged when the world is judged along with the rest of mankind, if we have already accepted Jesus as our personal savior, then we are spared the judgment, for we have already been judged in Jesus, and we will be removed from this world before it is judged, no matter how much lifetime we had left. Revelation 3:10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test (try, refine) those who dwell on the earth.” When Jesus was born the angels proclaimed: Peace on earth, and good will toward men. God introduced into the world a grace period that would allow the earth to deal with its sin debt before the final judgment of God is executed upon the earth. We have been living under that grace period for the last two thousand years, the good news has to be preached, and has been preached, to all the world and its inhabitants before the final judgment comes, but there is a time limit. How will we know that we are approaching the limit? Jeremiah 9:6 “Your dwelling place is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know Me, says the Lord.” The time of refining comes after the inhabitants of the earth willingly refuse to acknowledge the pardon freely offered to them by God. 2 Peter 3:5 “For this they willfully forget…(willingly ignorant)” We are clearly living in the days when both of the above prophecies are being fulfilled. Science has reached the point where the theory of evolution is untenable, there is clearly no monkey DNA in any of us, everything screams out the truth of an intelligent Creator behind the creation. Yet, through deceit they refuse to know Me, the Lord told us, and that is exactly what is going on today. Now from the Lord’s perspective we see a refining that is taking, and has taken place, all over the earth through different epochs of time. There were, and there are times, when God deals with men’s debt problem through the spectrum of innocence, at other times through their conscience, but always through the prism of His promised redemption in His covenant of law and grace with Abraham, the man of faith who found favor and fellowship with God. But God who is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, He is always at work in whatever circumstance history finds men, to save them from their debt of sin. Once the present grace period runs out, it will be collection time, and since it is appointed unto men once to die and then comes the judgment, collection time will mean the death of billions of earthlings. Revelation 9:15 “So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.” A third of mankind are killed, and that is just during the beginning of the first half of the seven years of God’s wrath upon the earth. By the time you get to the end there are not many humans left on the earth. Now these seven years are like a refining fire poured upon the earth to redeem the souls of the sinful men who refused the grace period they were given. These judgments are brought upon them because they willingly refused to know God at first, and before they die God gives them another chance to repent now that their deceit has been exposed and they no longer have any excuse to ignore God. Basically, they will be told, you are all going to die, who will you die for, the devil or God? Who will you give your soul to? Now isn’t it a lot easier to live for Him now during the age of His grace? Or will you continue to deceive yourself? Jeremiah 8:20 “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved!” We are not saved; will this be your epithet? If you think it is hard to be saved right now, do you think that you will have what it takes to be saved when your salvation will have to be proven by your death as a martyr? Jeremiah 9:12 “Who is the wise man who may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of the Lord has spoken, that he may declare it? Why does the land perish and burn up like a wilderness, so that no one can pass through?” There is nothing here in this world worth missing heaven for! We are being prepared for a new reality, an eternal physical reality that consists of peace and harmony, where obedience to God’s righteous laws is inscribed within the soul of every newly recreated man. Never again will we struggle with righteousness, doing what is right will be such a delight. But we have to pass the test of faith here first, where there is opposition, for if we dare to believe in the face of opposition and reproach, in all the wonderful promises of God for those who love Him, them He will not hesitate to invest in us freely the reward of eternal perfect life. I do not belong to this world, I’m of the generation that will fly without wings, I will soar through the galaxies, I will explore the wonders of the universe while glorifying the Creator that enables me to marbled at all His wonders, will you come and join me? - RELENT OR RESIST | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
RELENT OR RESIST The objective of this teaching is to help believers discern whether to resist or endure adversity by aligning their decision-making with the Word of God. It aims to provide spiritual clarity on the difference between trials permitted by God for the testing of faith and attacks from the enemy, guiding Christians to walk in obedience to God’s will without allowing carnality or generational resistance to cloud their judgment. RELENT OR RESIST Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to help believers discern whether to resist or endure adversity by aligning their decision-making with the Word of God. It aims to provide spiritual clarity on the difference between trials permitted by God for the testing of faith and attacks from the enemy, guiding Christians to walk in obedience to God’s will without allowing carnality or generational resistance to cloud their judgment. Synopsis: In Relent or Resist, Pastor Marcos Marrero addresses the vital question of how Christians should respond to adversity: should they endure it as a test from God or resist it as an attack from the enemy? Using Romans 9:19 and other Scriptures, he explains that resisting the Holy Spirit results in opposing God’s will, while discernment comes from a circumcised heart and ear—removing carnality and listening to God’s Word rather than focusing solely on the pain of trials. He highlights the generational struggle of resisting God, tracing it back to Adam and Eve’s fall, and contrasts that with the redemptive work of Christ, the Tree of Life, who restores access to God’s promises. Pastor Marcos teaches that true spiritual circumcision occurs when believers are fully persuaded they belong to Christ, holding fast to His promises even when discernment falters. Through biblical examples and practical application, the teaching stresses that trials and deliverance often work hand in hand. Adversities may arise from the corruption of fleshly choices or from persecution due to living faithfully in Christ. The key is honest self-examination: are hardships the result of losing spiritual “saltiness,” or are they a sign of faithful witness against a corrupt world? Ultimately, Pastor Marcos reminds believers that when their hearts are surrendered and their ears attuned to the Spirit, they will know whether to resist with the sword of the Spirit or relent and endure with steadfast faith. In both paths, God’s promises remain sure, and His purposes will be fulfilled in the lives of His children. Inspired Teaching: Romans 9:19 “You will say to me then, ‘Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?’” How do we know, when an adverse circumstance rises against us, if we are to resist it, or just accept it and endure it? Here is what I mean, if the adversity is a trial sent to us from God for the testing of our faith, we would not want to fail the test by resisting the adverse circumstance to the point where we renege our faith on His promise that if we endure trials faithfully, He will see us through them. But if it is an attack from the enemy, we want to come against it head on and defeat it, for we are told that if we submit to God and resist the devil that he will flee from us. Acts 7:51 “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.” The Scripture in Acts gives us a tremendous insight into how vital it is for our wellbeing to be able to know when we are to resist adversity, and when we are to relent and endure them. Because if we are resisting the Holy Spirit we are fighting against the will of God for our lives, and that is not going to be good for anybody. Uncircumcised in heart and ears. Circumcision is a type for the removal of the flesh from the life-giving ordinances of God, in other words, we need to remove our carnality from the decision making process. That resolves the first part of the problem. An uncircumcised ear is one that focuses on the adversity alone, and by doing so, the heart, where the decision-making process takes place, is compromised, for it cannot make an informed decision since it is only receiving one side of the adversity, we are facing, which is the pain it causes, and not what the potential benefits, if any, might be. As your fathers did, so do you. The second part of the problem is generational; resisting the will of God for our lives is embedded within our human genes, courtesy of the fall of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, the Paradise of God for us. Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden to prevent them from partaking of the fruit of the Tree of Life, for had they eaten from it in their rebelliously carnal state, they would have become like the fallen angels, unredeemable and eternally dammed forever. In God’s plan of redemption for humanity, Jesus who is the Tree of Life, hung naked on the cross to cover our nakedness with His holiness, and opened the door for us back into the Paradise of God where we can freely partake of the fruit of the Tree of Life, which is His Word/Promises. John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” So that our decision-making process, concerning anything, has to be based on the Word of God instead of what the flesh is experiencing! How do we circumcise our hearts and ears? Romans 9:9 “For this is the word of promise…” We have to begin at the point of our salvation. Our salvation is the result of God’s promises to mankind. In Jesus, the Seed of the woman, all the promises of God given to us can be attained. For there is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved and delivered. Acts 4:12 “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Spiritually speaking, what I am trying to say is that if we are fully persuaded that we belong to Jesus Christ, and we know for a fact that His Holy Spirit is within us, and we are convinced that He has a plan and a purpose for our lives, and that His plan and purpose is the very best for us, then nothing else really matters does it? What I’m saying is that as long as we are fully committed to His good will and great and precious promises for us, the result can never be in doubt, even if our discernment fails us at times, for as it is written: Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” What that does for us is that it takes the pressure off from our decision-making process. Hey, I don’t want to suffer a minute longer than I have to in order to obtain God’s promises for my life, for I do not enjoy suffering. But I know that if I somehow miss a turn and have to go around the block one extra time or two, it is not going to stop God from getting me there, for this is what He promised me: Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” True deliverance, or circumcision of the heart begins, when we finally cross a threshold in our hearts that says: I belong to God, and I am fully committed to His will for my life, therefore nothing is going to keep me from fulfilling His will and purpose for my life. When adversity comes our way, and our hearts are in tune with the words that Jesus speaks to us, which are spirit and truth—spiritual truth—we will know instantly if we are to resist the adversity with the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God, or if we are to relent and let the work of adversity work its way through, in the meanwhile we strengthen our faith while the persecution is crossing our path. John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” We need to remember that often times deliverance and tribulation go hand in hand. Now why is that? In the circumcision typology, the life-giving male semen gets corrupted as it comes in contact with the flesh, the foreskin, as it is spread abroad. The two-fold covenant of circumcision with Abraham was given as a type for those who were entrusted with the propagation of God’s Word, that they were to keep it from contamination. For the Jews who are the heirs of the physical promise—the Holy Land, the ritual was a physical act to be performed on every newborn Jewish boy on the eighth day. Paul infuses into the church the spiritual implication of the two-fold circumcision covenant that God made with Abraham. Colossians 2:10-13 “And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands (spiritual circumcision), by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses.” What Paul is saying is that for those of us who are saved, being buried with Jesus in baptism at the moment of our spiritual rebirth, eight being the number that represents a new beginning, we were spiritually circumcised, as babes in Christ. We are His body here on earth, the church, and it falls upon us to broadcast or propagate His Life-giving Word to a world that is barren. But if that Life-giving Word is contaminated by the dead works of the flesh, it loses its power to raise those who are dead back to the spiritual life that was once promised to those who would believe. Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” So, going back to our opening do we relent or resist question; the adversities and tribulations we are suffering, are they caused by our losing our saltiness or is it because of our saltiness that we bear then? Your honest answer to that question will guide you into which path you need to take. If you are being trampled underfoot by men, then it is time for you to let go of the flesh that is contaminating the promises of God for your life, and keeping them from coming to full fruition in you. On the other hand, if you are being persecuted for taking a firm stand on the Word of God in this corrupt world, for salt is the antidote to corruption, then you should bear the tribulations gladly, for they are a sign of the effectiveness of your walk with Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 4:12-14 “Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory (your spiritual walk) and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.” Previous Next Home
- RELEASING THE BLESSINGS | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
RELEASING THE BLESSINGS The objective of this message is to teach believers the importance of self-control, love, and the power of their words in releasing blessings instead of curses. It encourages Christians to remain within God’s hedge of protection by walking in the Spirit, applying the fruit of the Spirit, and learning to bless others even in difficult circumstances. The ultimate goal is to show how releasing blessings activates God’s favor, shields believers from spiritual attacks, and produces joy and peace in their lives. < Back RELEASING THE BLESSINGS Minister Lisa Kane August 7, 2022 Objective: The objective of this message is to teach believers the importance of self-control, love, and the power of their words in releasing blessings instead of curses. Synopsis: In “Releasing the Blessings” (August 7, 2022), Lisa Kane opens with Luke 6:27–31, where Jesus instructs us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who mistreat us. She highlights how natural human reactions often lean toward retaliation when wronged—whether in personal conflicts, workplace challenges, or even simple road rage. Yet, Christ calls His followers to respond differently, guided by the Spirit rather than the flesh. Through the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13:26–30, Lisa explains that both Christians and non-Christians face trials such as loss, injustice, and hardships. The difference lies in how believers handle them—with peace, faith, and endurance. Using examples from modern life, she illustrates how choosing to bless instead of curse disarms anger and opens the way for God’s blessings to return. Proverbs 18:21 reinforces this principle: life and death are in the power of the tongue. Lisa emphasizes the role of the Holy Spirit in producing self-control and other fruits (Galatians 5:23–26). In the secret place with God, believers can crucify the flesh, align with righteousness, and learn to speak blessings that transform both themselves and others. She reminds us that hatred from the world is often directed at God, not just us, and urges Christians to respond with love and blessing as representatives of Christ. The message closes by affirming God’s promises of protection and favor (Psalm 5:11–12, Isaiah 45:7–8). Lisa encourages believers to be intentional in releasing blessings over people, places, and circumstances, trusting that God has already secured the victory. The prayer at the end invites listeners to repent, receive self-control, and walk in the Spirit, blessing others as a testimony of God’s love. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane. I'm recording this on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Welcome. This message is called Releasing the Blessings. Amen. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this message and we thank you for your blessing upon it. Let it feed our spirits. Let it nourish us. Let us run with it, walk with it, apply it, and let that seed just grow into a beautiful nurtured tree. Thank you, Father God, for giving us the character traits of self-control and to bless your name and to bless to release our blessings. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Thank you, Father God. Amen. All right, let's go to our opening scriptures here. We're going to be looking at Luke chapter 6 verses 27 through31. But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on one's cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods, do not ask them back. and just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. Okay, so we've got a very interesting set of scriptures here that we want to talk about. So what I want to show you is something that has to do with not only a character trait and in a physical sense, meaning somebody slaps you, what do you do when you do when you get slapped? But at the same time, I want to talk about what's in the spiritual part of this because I think the unknown factor might be holding things back for you. So, I want I want to show you some things here. So, one of the things I want you to realize here is, you know, we saw the recent um Will Smith slap on Chris Rock. And Chris, I think, was more shocked than anything and didn't do anything. Okay, I get that. Uh but at the same time, what is the one thing you want to do when somebody hurts you? You want to attack back and hurt them. You want them to hurt as much as they hurt you. So, let's say you're driving, you get cut off by somebody, but that person is oblivious. They have no idea that they cut you off. You want to make sure that they know, but in reality, they'll never know because one, unless you guys confront each other and pull over and deal with it that way, no matter how much you get in front of them, hit your brakes, stop, do whatever you're going to do, they're thinking you're weird because they have no idea what happened. So, there's a disconnect here. But the one thing that is solid is your emotions. Oh, now we're getting somewhere. You know what? H how do you deal with something like that? And and there there's a a a powerful principle here that I want to show you that involves your words that's going to change the dynamics of that kind of stuff attacking you that they're oblivious to but you're not. Oh, this is very, very good. Okay. So, what I want to show you next is some scriptures that's going to make things hopefully a little more open and understanding here. So, watch this. We're we're in Matthew. We're going to read verses 13, chapter 13:es 26-30. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tears also appeared. So, the servants of the owner came and said to him, "Sir, did you not sew good seed in your field? How then does it have tears?" He said to them, "An enemy has done this." The servant said to him, "Do you want us to go and gather them up?" But he said, "No, lest while you gather up the tears, you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, first gather together the tears, and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn." Okay, so here is where things get very interesting. Christians and non-Christians all deal with the same thing. We all deal with loss of life. We all deal with loss of jobs. We all deal with no food. We all deal with high prices, bad economy. We are all dealing with the same situation. Bad bosses, bad co-workers, family members who aren't the best. You deal with these things. and how do you deal with them? So, that's the key here. That's what makes the difference between a Christian and a non-Christian because a Christian is going to deal with it differently. In fact, there's going to be people out there. I mean, look at martyrs. You know, when there were a whole bunch that were being martyed over there in the Middle East just recently, they were singing songs, standing in line, and just walking to their death. It just blows my mind away. I sit there sometimes wondering, "Wow, I hope if I ever face that situation that I can do the honor of doing that." Uh, not all of us are called to be martyrs. But you can only hope that you would have some spirit that just takes hold of you that is like that and you're at peace about the whole thing. And in in an instance, that's what kind of this message is about is grabbing hold of that peace and that joy that when someone cuts you off, Amen. may the Lord bless you. Here's the thing. It comes down to love. And we're going to be talking about the power of the tongue here, but it all comes down to the root of love. And even in the last message, I talked about being in the hedge of protection. Uh, and it came down to the root of love because what Jesus did was love. And he keeps us in there. Now, the door can open and close, and as sheep, we can wander out, but when you wander out, you wander out into territory that is unknown to you. You do not know what the enemy is doing to you out there. So what do you do? You stay within the hedge of protection, which means you give it to God. And that takes a lot of self-control. So I want to elaborate further on that last message I taught and go into this one where we're going to talk about the power of your words. And we're going to speak into that blessing. So here you are dealing with the same thing. You people get cut off all the time. There is road rage that makes the news almost daily. So you you can imagine these people are so upset. They want to hurt you. They want to kill you. They want to do this because that spirit of anger got in them and it raged them, enraged them. They just went nuts. So, what I want to do is I want to teach you how to not let that get a hold of you, but teach you how to have that self-control and how to use your words. Because think of it this way, we already know how the end is going to happen, right? So, we know that revelation is coming. We know that there is a seven-year tribulation period. That's horrible. We do not want anyone to live through that. It is really unfortunate because that's what's going to happen for those that reject Jesus. They're going to be stuck here. They're already going to deal with hell on earth and then an eternity of hell if they don't repent. That's just simple fact of the matter. So in essence, if you stay inside that hedge of protection and let God deal with them, he's got a better fitting punishment for them than anything you could ever do. And that kind of if you put that into your front mind when you're dealing with the situation, that helps you. It helps you deal with the situation because it helps you say, "All right, I got to just bless this person." Because see, when you release a blessing, the blessings come back. Look at the power of the tongue. Look at what happens here. Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." Now, it could be good fruit or bad fruit. Notice it didn't say because it all comes down to death and life how much you want to kill that person. You see, the moment you change it up, the moment you suddenly open up a you open up a door either way, but whether you're going to open up the door for a curse, if you're after them because you want to hurt them as much as you're just going to put more hurt on you, it just comes right back at you. Because God is in control and God loves people and he loves even the ones that make mistakes. That includes you and me. You see how the love of God plays a role in here? So, how do we do this? Because we're angry, we're hurt, we want to hurt these people, but no, we got to let it go. And the moment you bless them, you see what happens is there's a scenario at my work that I'm dealing with right now and I want to go deal with it myself. This is actually one of the reasons why it led to the message of hedge of protection last uh two weeks ago when I taught that message and it really was a very big eye opener because I thought I could deal with the situation myself. But as I got more aware of what was going on, it's just the weirdest things. It it and anytime you have to use the word weird in the situation, it's spiritual always. That's that's a red flag right there. It's a spiritual matter, you know. It has to do with our air conditioning and and we're I mean it's 12:28 here on Sunday, August 7, 2022 and it's 103 degrees outside. When it was 10:00 this morning, it hit 97. I was like, uhoh. So, we got all the fans and air conditioners running right now. So, but at work, you walk into the building and half the building is 10 degrees warmer than the other half. But I'm told adamantly it's working. And then They open the doors to let air in. Why would you do that if it's working? Do you see what I'm saying? So once it dawned on me that I'm dealing with a spiritual matter, now I go into the secret place with the Lord and I start telling on them basically. But what I have learned that if I bless them, you know what's going to happen is that blessing is going to come back on me. It opens the door. So in essence, here's a great example. I'm blessing them. I'm just like, Lord, bless them. Let them get a promotion. Let them get this. Let them get that. What happens is either they move on and they go away and somebody new comes in, actually fixes it. Splatters on me. I get it fixed eventually. Whenever, however that happens, it's all in God's timing. But see, I'm letting the Lord deal with it. But I'm doing my part by releasing the blessings. You got to capture this. Now, I know it's difficult. So, what you have to do is in that secret place when you're spending time with the Lord, because now we're talking about righteous living, this is challenging. And unless you're living in the secret place with the Lord, you're probably not even understanding anything I'm saying. And you're probably not even getting how to even apply it to yourself. Well, in that secret place, you need to do something. Look at what the Holy Spirit will give you if you ask. Galatians 5, look at we're going to read verses 23 through 26. But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. I'll get back to the rest of the scriptures here. There's no law. The law has been fulfilled by those principles. They can't put a law in place that tells you you must be nice. It is something that comes within. And unless you ask the Holy Spirit for for it, your morals have no meaning. If you think that, well, if I just treat this person good and I treat that person good, I can't treat that person good. He's evil. You see, your moral compass doesn't cover things. Especially when you're judging on the surface. Oh, look at him. He's got to be evil. You know, he's got tattoos, long beard. He's got to be mean, ugly, evil. No. Don't ever judge a book by its cover. So here you are now operating in the spirit not in the law. So in that secret place you ask the Holy Spirit to say I need more love because I need to love your people. You love that guy. You love that guy. I don't know how but I'm going to ask you to help me love them too. I'm going to ask you to help me have some self-control because I got people hurting me. And here's the thing is you got people cursing you. You don't even know it. In fact, sometimes it's just your neness because you're a believer in Christ and you're pleasant and all hell is breaking loose. You're fully aware of it. But the one thing you are not aware of is that person's looking at you going that she must be sick. She must be wrong because how could she be nice in a situation like this, you see? And that's a curse. So here in the secret place with the Lord is when you start asking the Lord, come bring me some self-control. Help me control my tongue. Let's continue on here. Look what it says in verse 24. And those who are Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. You see in that secret place, that's what you're doing as you're crucifying your flesh, saying you're not in control flesh, but the spirit is. Holy Spirit, have your will with me. Come into my mind. And see, you're speaking the words. This is the power of the tongue. You're blessing your spirit with the Holy Spirit. You're saying, "Lord, I need the Holy Spirit self-control. I bless myself with self-control. I receive self-control. I bless myself with joy. I bless myself with love. Do you see what's happening here? Because now you're changing yourself in the secret place with the Lord and initiating that righteousness which you've already done because you've got into the secret place with the Lord with his word. Soon as you open up the Bible and you're in his presence with the word, you are activating righteousness. And as soon as you're repenting and you're getting right with God, here's how to build your your seed to germinate into that beautiful tree that you could be. Well, this is how you do it. You start asking for these things because you know what? I'm going to tell you right now, the world has no self-control. They hate you because you're nice. They hate you because you're mean. They just hate you. They will hate you no matter what. Especially if you're better than them at things, they will hate you. You know why? Because they hate God and you represent God and they are going to hate and hate, it doesn't matter. They're just going to hate. Do you see that? So if they're going to hate God and you're representing God, they're going to hate you. So you might as well say, "Okay, well then in that case, I'm going to have self-control and I'm going to bless you." Because see, here's the thing. God, that person's life matters to God just as much as your life matters to God. He loves him. He wants him just as much as he wanted you. So, you have to go in and say, "All right, Lord. I'm going to bless him. Bless him with a better job. Bless him uh to do his job and to do it well. Thank you, Lord." You see, it's hard. I'm going tell you right now, it's hard. Look at the rest of those scriptures, though. Uh verse 25. If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit. And you see now as you spend time with God, now God is spirit. So when you spend time with God, you start letting the spirit mature, grow, strengthen, and the flesh weakens. It gets subdued. And it it's awesome because yeah, when all hell's breaking loose, you can say, "Yeah, I got a piece." and it does surpass all understanding. Amen. Look at the rest of this verse 26. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. Look at envying. And that's exactly what I'm talking about. These people hate you because they're envious of what you have, who you are. And they're hating God, not you per se. You just happen to represent God at that moment. And when you represent God, Yeah. They're going to hate you because they hate God. So, this is where you come in with your self-control and have it in the forefront of your mind that you are in a spiritual matter. You cannot see them cursing. You don't hear, you know, they're in the secret. They're they're in that darkness and they're like, "Man, that woman, oh, she's so I wish." Yeah. You see, those are the curses. But they're saying that to themselves out loud to the spirit. And the spirit tries to attack God's anointed. And guess what? You don't mess with God's anointed because guess what? It tries to hit and bounces right off and goes right back on you. And you deal with curse. So as a believer in Christ, if you're wondering why all hell is breaking loose, have you checked your words lately? might be something you're saying that you shouldn't be saying. And that goes for everybody. Everybody, a believer, non-believer, a pastor. We're all flesh and blood. And until we enter the eternity in our spirit, we have to deal with that. These are things we have to deal with. So, the best way to do it is to be in the secret place with the Lord. And once you're there, ask the spirit to give you self-control, to give you the right words to say how to bless these people. Amen. And you know what? I'm more preaching to myself than you guys. I'm going tell you that right now. And I'm receiving. Hallelujah. Psalm 5 11 and 12. But let all those rejoice who put their trust in you. And this is where things get very interesting. I used the scripture in the last message as well. Trust. How do you trust in the Lord? Well, remember his prophecies are true. His word is true. It's been around for centuries and it is powerful. The moment you become a believer, that that awareness comes into place. It is hard. If you're a non-believer, once you ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins, the the eyes open up and all of a sudden you're realizing, you know what, God is real. Okay? And and and you have this understanding that he is truly there. And it it gets difficult because as you've been raised, maybe you haven't been raised in a Christian home. And even if in a Christian home, there's trust issues that take place, abuses that take place. And oh, it's hard to trust. But when you get in the secret place with the Lord, and I'm not talking church, I'm talking you and God time. And it's not just a daily devotional. It it is that time where you you pour out everything to God and you read his word. And in fact, as you're reading the word throughout the week, whatever it is you're dealing with, you're going to find everywhere you open the word, God is talking to you. And every scripture heals you. Oh, that's beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. But let all those rejoice who put their trust in you. Let them ever shout for joy because you defend them. Now that's another thing is as you curse these people, God's defending them because he loves them just as much as he loves you. And he's defending you as much as he is them. But he will release those curses on you. And you will be dealing with all hell breaking loose on earth. Especially, it could be one day you just wake up and it is bad. You're on the wrong, it was the wrong side of the bed. Maybe you should have stayed home. Who knows? But you've got you get a flat tire. You break down or you your boss starts yelling at you. It wasn't even you. It was somebody else. Just all hell breaks loose. Somebody breaks into your checking account, steals a few hundred bucks. uh all hell breaks and that's usually a spiritual manner and that is because the Lord's trying to get your attention and that's when you tell the devil get below my feet and then you go to God and repent and say I'm sorry Lord help me see what I'm doing and it's usually the words are you blessing or are you cursing and in order to correct yourself need some self-control which means you need the Holy Spirit how do you get the Holy Spirit spirit. Spend time with God. God is spirit. And the more you're spending time with him and in the word, you're receiving the spirit. Amen. Let those also who love your name be joyful in you. And that's another thing as as you see this and you're dealing with everything that is going on, you get to have a joy because all of a sudden you're realizing, well, God loves him just as much as he loves me. And it's like he could be in heaven with me. And yeah, that's a wakeup call for some people. Imagine if Hitler had asked God to forgive him before he went. Jesus is so merciful. You might walk into heaven. Hitler might be there. This is why we don't think of these things or can't think of them. But what we can do is say God loves that person just as much as me and that person has a right to get to heaven just as much as me. Which means I better bless that person if I want blessings on me. Simple truth of the matter, right? All fact truth. Verse 12. For you, oh Lord, will bless the righteous with favor. You will surround him as with a shield. There it is. You're when you're spending time with God in that secret place and you've activated righteousness, he defends you. He's that shield, that hedge of protection around you because you don't know what the enemy is saying in the dark. You don't know what curses are coming at you. I mean, even Chris Rock, when Will Smith walked up to him and slapped him, he didn't think he was going to do that. So, you see, you don't know when you're getting slapped in the spirit. I mean, in today's world, we don't really have people coming up and slapping people. And I mean, you see on the news occasionally that people are attacking people, but at the same time, you spend time in that secret place, you've got this hedge of protection around you, both physically and spiritually, and these things won't be happening to you because you're spending time in righteousness with the Lord. But that's a choice you have to make. You have to decide if that's something you want to do or not. And you know, part of it is, do you even know who God is? You know, sometimes we don't get into that secret place with the Lord and activate that righteousness cuz do I really believe he's God? Do I really believe he's real? Look what he says in Isaiah. This is God talking. This is very powerful. Isaiah 45:7 and 8. I form the light, create darkness. I make peace and create calamity. I the Lord do all these things. Rain down you heavens from above and let the skies pour down righteousness. Let the earth open. Let them bring forth salvation and let righteousness spring up together. I the Lord have created it. The Lord created righteousness. Now if you read that entire chapter and here I am. I'm not giving it all to you. I'm not going to spoon feed you these scriptures. You need to go do some homework. read that whole chapter. It is about a guy named Cyrus, but it was written like a thousand years before Cy I and I could be wrong. A thousand years, 100 years, I don't remember the exact time, but it was well before Cyrus was born. And I think it was a thousand years, but you can Google that. You can look it up, research it, figure it out because I want you to start getting to know the word of God. Cyrus was a king of Babylon. I don't remember the the country. again. I want you to go and do your homework. But he is approaching Israel to conquer it. Priest comes out and he starts reading that very chapter talking to this guy whose name is Cyrus. And Cyrus just kind of chuckles like, "Did I just hear from God?" Yes, he did. So God is talking to Cyrus, but he's also talking to the world. To know him is to realize he not only created light, he created darkness, he created righteousness. And remember what he's doing, his whole purpose, his whole plan is to deal with sin and put an end to it. And that's in Daniel, that's in Isaiah, that's in some of the smaller prophets. you. Again, these are scriptures that if you were spending time with the Lord, you would know this because he would show it to you. So, this takes a matter of effort on your part, which then also takes a matter of effort on your part to have that self-control because the first thing you want to do is spew out a curse. Well, it's time to start spewing out blessings. Amen. Let us bless one another. Let us bless one another. I'm going to tell you right now, you start blessing the the buildings. You start blessing the weather. You start blessing your co-workers, your family members, and you start spreading blessings. And imagine if the whole world was blessing one another. Oh my goodness. We wouldn't be having it the situations we have right now. I'm telling you. And that's a guarantee. But people don't want to bless again. They hate they hate you because you represent God. So we do have an active enemy in the world and they are going after God. So if you represent God, they will hate you and that's the end of that. But I'm going to tell you right now, you can stand with God and know that he already won because you know the end. He has the victory. Amen. Amen. Amen. All right, let us close in prayer. And I want you to say this prayer out loud with me because I want you to bring in that self-control into your heart. Dear Jesus, I ask you to forgive me of my sins. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I ask you to fill my heart with joy, with self-control, with loving kindness, with goodness, with peace. Thank you, Father God, for filling me up and and I ask you to give me the right words to bless those around me and to bless the atmosphere around me. Father God, thank you for that strength and thank you for teaching me how to bless and to live a life where I'm blessing others in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. God bless you. Uh we won't be bringing out another message until September. And that is because we're going on vacation. So we'll be gone for a couple of weeks here in August. And August 27th, I believe it is, is uh the youth the next youth service. Yeah, August 27th. And that will be at the mission church in downtown LA. If you're welcome to join us there starts 700 p.m. And uh that will be the next live teaching that my dad will do. I'll probably get that up on the 28th. So that will be the the next message that we bring in, but my next message will be in September. God bless you and enjoy and I'll see you in the next message. Bye-bye. Previous Next Home
- THE FOUL SPIRIT OF HATE | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
THE FOUL SPIRIT OF HATE The objective of The Foul Spirit of Hate is to equip believers with biblical understanding and discernment to recognize the destructive influence of hatred as a foul spirit. Pastor Marcos seeks to help readers understand how unclean spirits influence human emotions and behavior, and how to resist their control by standing firm in the Word of God, walking in love, and cultivating a sound mind through the Spirit of Christ. THE FOUL SPIRIT OF HATE Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of The Foul Spirit of Hate is to equip believers with biblical understanding and discernment to recognize the destructive influence of hatred as a foul spirit. Pastor Marcos seeks to help readers understand how unclean spirits influence human emotions and behavior, and how to resist their control by standing firm in the Word of God, walking in love, and cultivating a sound mind through the Spirit of Christ. Synopsis: In The Foul Spirit of Hate, Pastor Marcos Marrero examines the spiritual reality behind the destructive force of hatred. Drawing from Revelation 18:2 and other Scriptures, he explains that hatred is not merely an emotion but a manifestation of a foul spirit working through human souls to stir up chaos, division, and rebellion against God’s truth. Using insights from the Greek meanings of “spirit” (pnyoomah) and “soul” (phookhay), he clarifies how spirits act as currents of influence, shaping human personalities and actions. Pastor Marcos describes the mechanics of spiritual influence: the human spirit was designed to draw energy from God’s Word, but when influenced by unclean spirits, it leads to destructive behavior. He stresses that inspiration and influence come from spiritual sources—if they contradict God’s Word, they are unclean. Believers, though made new in Christ, must choose daily which spirits they allow to guide them and filter every influence through Scripture. Focusing on hate as a dominant strongman in these last days, he identifies it as one of the three most powerful human emotions—alongside love and fear. Hatred, whether violent or verbal, fuels division and strife, especially through modern propaganda and media that incite old grievances and perpetuate enmity. Pastor Marcos warns that harboring hatred leads to insurrection of the soul, a revolt from within, where one’s fallen nature rebels against God’s commands. The teaching concludes with a strong exhortation: believers must not repay evil with evil, nor fall into Satan’s trap of cruel hatred. Instead, they must cling to God’s Spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. By allowing God’s love to govern their responses, Christians can rise above deception, remain steadfast in faith, and avoid backsliding into hatred, walking instead in the peace and satisfaction that comes from above. Inspired Teaching: Revelation 18:2 “And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!’” If there is a word that conjures up strong emotions when spoken, it has to be the word hate. I can even picture a human face contorting as it utters that word. It is almost like one cannot even say the words, I hate you, without the display of an outburst of emotions attached to them. Since spirits manifest themselves as influences through persons, it is only natural that a spirit of hate would manifest itself through a person with such a display of emotion. I guess I should explain how I believe unclean spirits operate through persons, for those of you reading this that may not have heard of this teaching before, so that we can all be on the same page, here it is. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” As you may know, the New Testament was written in the Greek language which has a lot more words to express meaning and sentiment than the English language does. Every now and then we have to look at Scriptures as they were written in the original language to get the full meaning of what is teaching. This is one of those cases. In the original Greek, the word translated spirit is the word: Pnyoomah: # 4151 in Strong’s concordance, and it means Breath, as in a blast or a current of air and is translated as the word spirit. For in the Greek, spirits are referred to as breath or air, but in this case it refers to a specific form of breath, a blast or a current of air. Pnyoomah is the Greek word from where we get the term pneumatic as in pneumatic tools, which are tools that run on blast or currents of air. In the original Greek, the word translated soul is the word: Phookhay: # 5590 in Strong’s concordance, and it also means Breath, but by implication, static air, and is translated as the word soul. To get a better understanding of how the spirit and the soul work together to give us our personality, let us go to the first created human. Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man (the physical body) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath (the human spirit) of life; and man became a living being (soul, personhood).” If we want to understand how spirits can move the physical body, here is what I believe are the mechanics of how it works: The human spirit is like the energy, the blast or the current of energy like in a pneumatic tool, that moves the soul, that in turn gives to us our personalities, the person that we become. The human spirit is not self-sufficient, so it has to derive energy from sources outside of itself. Our spirit man was originally designed to receive energy from the Word of God and derive its human personality from it, that is to drive the soul into becoming what the Word of God intended for that person to be. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living (Zoe in the Greek, and it means life giving and life sustaining) and powerful (Energea in the Greek, and it means moving energy)…” Take for example the word influence, it describes the spiritual inflow that motivates people to do things, an influence is a spirit, and if the influence contradicts the Word of God, is an unclean spirit. Another example is the word inspire, when a person dies, that person expired, it means the spirit of life left them. When a person is inspired, it is a spirit who is doing the inspiration, and if such inspiration contradicts the Word of God, it is also designated as an unclean spirit. Now we were all born after the flesh, so like Adam we all have the propensities within us to fear and to doubt, and to feel shame and nakedness because of our sinful natures. But in the new birth we become a new creation, a brand-new creature. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” We are not beholden to the old nature any longer. But we still have to make a choice, and it has to do with which spirits are we going to allow to influence us, and are we going to filter those influences through the sift of the Word of God. Here is another example; as new creatures in Christ, all of our sins have been forgiven, we are not to walk in the fear of eternal torment any longer, but in the power of God’s love for us, and rejoice that in Christ, we have the mind of Christ, which is a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Now that we understand the process let us shift our attention to the spirit of hate, which is the culprit for the majority of the chaos going on around the world today. For hatred is the strongman of these last days. I believe that the three most powerful human emotions are: Love, hate, and fear. According to Paul God has not given us the spirit of fear, but He has indeed given to us His Spirit of love. However, the spirit of a sound mind is necessary to keep us from falling prey to the foul spirit of hate, especially in these last days. Harboring the spirit of hatred can lead to the insurrection of the soul. Psalm 64:2 “Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity.” KJV Insurrection is revolt from within, and since the workers of iniquity still reside within our souls which are still in the process of salvation, what it means is that our human nature can be led into rebelling against the commandments that flow from God into our spirit man. Just like the love of God nullifies the spirit of fear, the spirit of a sound mind can help us put away the spirit of hatred. First let us identify which type of hatred we are dealing with as the Day of our redemption draws near. Psalm 25:19 “Consider my enemies, for they are many; and they hate me with cruel (violent) hatred.” All you have to do to know that this is the type of hatred that we are dealing with today, just search the news and see how many believers are beheaded, tortured, burned alive, and struck down for their faith in Jesus Christ all around the world on a daily basis. In the more civilized parts of the world, where still some common sense restrains it, the violence from this spirit of hatred is more verbal in nature, but the sentiments are the same. If you are a believer in the morality that the Word of God commands for societies to follow, you are considered the scum of the earth, and it won’t be long before this sprit of hatred rears its nature of violence against those of us who believe here in the western nations as well. What feeds this spirit of cruel hatred is the spirit of division that is continuously propagated by the mediums of today, the news organizations that do not barter in the truth that they were originally established to proclaim, but rather in incitement and propaganda against the dictates of God’s Word. Ezekiel 25:15 “...Took vengeance with a spiteful heart, to destroy (through violent means) because of the old hatred (perpetual).” I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but all the hatred that is being fomented right now by many, has its roots in old hatred, that is, they are trying to revive past grievances, but in reality it is nothing more than Satan’s perpetual hatred against those of us who belong to God. Proverbs 10:12 “Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.” Now the reason I am bringing all these things up is to warn you, and to keep you from falling into the demonic trap of repaying evil with evil. As I look at what is happening from a spiritual perspective, the devil is playing mankind as a well-rehearsed orchestra. Everything out there is designed to bring up strife within the hearts of people with common sense. I see the frustration that many are having to endure, for it seems that what is evil and destructive has become the acceptable norm, and what is sound and good judgment is ridiculed. But we need to keep in mind that what they are doing, they are doing it purposely, they do not need to convince those who have swallow their lies hook line and sinker to follow in their destructive ways. It is us that need to be neutralized, from their point of view that is, those of us who believe in the power of God’s love to inspire and to motivate our actions. And the way to neutralize us is to have us fall for the tricks of the cruel spirit of hatred and become like them. Proverbs 13:21 “Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous, good shall be repaid.” Please my friends I know that it is not easy, not to become upset over the lies and the deception that they seem to be getting away with these days, without seemly any repercussions, let God deal with their actions. Make every effort not to get caught up in their web of cruel hatred and bad intentions. Let God’s love fill us with His peace, and deliver us from the snares of the wicked one. Let not our hearts backslide from His love. Proverbs 14:14 “The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, but a good man will be satisfied from above.” Previous Next Home
- SPIRITUAL WARFARE | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
SPIRITUAL WARFARE The objective of Spiritual Warfare by Pastor Marcos Marrero is to define the true essence of spiritual warfare from a biblical perspective, exposing rebellion, idolatry, and false light as its root causes, and to guide believers toward victory through repentance, obedience, and alignment with God’s will and timing. SPIRITUAL WARFARE Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of Spiritual Warfare by Pastor Marcos Marrero is to define the true essence of spiritual warfare from a biblical perspective, exposing rebellion, idolatry, and false light as its root causes, and to guide believers toward victory through repentance, obedience, and alignment with God’s will and timing. Synopsis: In Spiritual Warfare, Pastor Marcos draws on Jonah’s revelation in Jonah 2:8, where clinging to idols results in forfeiting God’s grace, to unveil the core of spiritual battles. He emphasizes that many believers fail in warfare not because they lack spiritual weapons, but because they simultaneously resist and harbor the very forces they are trying to cast out. Using Jonah’s rebellion as an example, Pastor Marcos highlights that disobedience and stubbornness are akin to witchcraft and idolatry, leading one deeper into darkness until true repentance occurs. He contrasts Jonah’s repentance with King Saul’s unrepentant rebellion, showing that victory in warfare requires acknowledging sin, repenting with thanksgiving, and recognizing that salvation comes only from God. Pastor Marcos stresses that light and darkness are the only two forces at work in the spiritual realm, and that Satan often disguises himself and his ministers as creatures of light. Thus, discerning true light always comes down to obedience to God’s Word. Pastor Marcos further explains that Jonah’s reluctance to preach to Nineveh revealed a heart issue—resenting God’s mercy toward sinners. Spiritual warfare, then, is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual principalities, meaning believers must align their hearts with God’s merciful nature, even toward enemies. Hatred, bitterness, and focusing on the flesh indicate one is still in darkness, while love and mercy reflect the light of God. In application to the modern believer, Pastor Marcos shows that warfare requires discernment of God’s timing—knowing when He calls for mercy or judgment—and separating from those who deny the spiritual reality of warfare, as they represent false light. True victory comes from walking in the light, discerning the unseen spiritual realm, and ridding oneself of the hindrances that obstruct one’s walk with Christ. Ultimately, Pastor Marcos concludes that spiritual warfare is about more than confronting external forces—it is about aligning one’s soul with God’s will, obeying His timing, and receiving the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that believers may live in the fullness of His calling (Ephesians 1:17-18). Inspired Teaching: Jonah 2:8 “Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.” NIV Who could imagine that one simple verse of Scripture could pack so much truth. If you want a definition that will tell you the nuts and bolts of spiritual warfare, Jonah nailed it right on the head. There once a man that was brought to the altar where a well-known evangelist was praying for the people after a service and the man’s family told the evangelist that the family member they brought before him was troubled by a demon, the evangelist laid his hands on the man’s head and said: In the name of Jesus I command you to leave this man right now, to which the man that was being prayed for responded while pointing at his own head; you stay right there you hear. It was kind of funny when the evangelist told the story many years later; but in reality that is at the root of why so many Christians fail in their battles to conquer their demonic tormentors. All the spiritual warfare tools at your disposal are of no avail if your right hand is telling the enemy to leave, meanwhile your left hand is telling your enemy to stay. Jonah did not just stumble into this revelation by chance, it was revealed to him while dealing with the consequences of his disobedience to God. Jonah 2:2 “...I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction, and He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and You heard my voice.” Jonah had some issues that he needed to work out, and probably the most pressing of his issues was that he did not see eye to eye what the will of God was for his life. He was called to be a prophet, and when God sent him on an assignment that he personally disagreed with, he decided to go on a different direction. But even in his disobedience there was something that Jonah knew that perhaps many believers today do not know. And that is when they are in open rebellion to the will of God for their lives, in reality what they are actually doing is getting deeper into idolatry and witchcraft. 1 Samuel 15:23 “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” The reason that Jonah said that those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs was because that is exactly what he had done; he had rejected the Word of the Lord for him, and just like it cost Saul his kingship it almost cost Jonah his life. The difference between Jonah and Saul was that Jonah understood what his sin of rebellion had caused and he repented, but as far as king Saul was concern even to his bitter end he consulted a witch in his search for God. The king could not tell the difference between light and darkness. Jonah 2:9 “But I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.” There are two crucial points that we need to learn if we are going to be successful in spiritual warfare: Number one is repentance. Once our stubbornness and rebellion are exposed, we need to offer the sweet sacrifice of repentance and thanksgiving to the real God, the God that is convicting us by pointing out to us our sin. The second point is that it behooves us to recognize that Salvation can only come from God. Now stay with me, there is something deeper here that we need to understand because this is not as simple as we think it to be. In the spiritual realm there are only two forces at work that war against one another, light and darkness. You may say, well that is easy. Not so, especially when the creatures of darkness can transform themselves into something that they are not, creatures of light. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” After reading those three verses we realize that spiritual warfare is not as easy as recognizing the difference between day and night, is it? But here is the key, in the end their work will always be one of rebellion against the Word of God. Once Jonah realized that it was not hard for him to understand that repentance was more than being sorry for his rebellion but that it also required him to become obedient to the call of God; after all obedience is better than sacrifice. Now let us examine how was it that Jonah got into his predicament, in other words, why did he disobey God’s plan for his life to begin with? Jonah 4:1-2 “But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he became angry. So he prayed to the Lord, and said, ‘Ah, Lord, was not this what I said when I was still in my country? Therefore I fled previously to Tarshish; for I know that You are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, One who relents from doing harm.’” Here Jonah really gets into what was really bothering him; God had called him to intercede for some really bad people and was told to go and preach to them that God was about to destroy them for the evil that they were perpetrating. Jonah, knowing that God is a merciful God who is full of compassion, One who relents from doing harm, thought that if he preached and they repented, that God would forgive them, and Jonah did not want that to happen and that is the reason why he fled to begin with. Here is the point that we need to glean and it comes from God’s very own perspective, not Jonah’s; Spiritual Warfare is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers! How can one be in the light of God’s mercy while wishing for the destruction of our fellow humans that walk in the darkness of this age? If God has been a merciful God to me, and He has, does He not want to show mercy also to my enemies who walk in darkness? What if He asks me to pray for those who have really hurt me? I know that He is a merciful God and that if I pray for them, and they repent, that He will forgive them immediately. But is that what I really want in my heart? Do I long for their pardon as much as God does? 1 John 2:9-10 “He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now (still in darkness). He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him (has been set free from idolatry. Zephaniah 1:3).” 1 John 4:20 “If someone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” So far the two aspects of spiritual warfare that we are discussing have to do with light and darkness. And the question that we pose is, if Satan and his ministers can transform themselves into creatures of light, how can we know whether we are walking in the light of God’s truth or abiding in the darkness of this world without even knowing it? And the answer is clear, if our focus is on the flesh, what transpires through the agency of man, then we are still in darkness. But if our focus is on the unseen, on what is taking place behind the curtains if you will, then we are poised to receive the revelation that comes to those who are abiding in the light of the truth of the Word of God. Let me bring this down to our present-day reality and try to explain why understanding spiritual warfare is so critical for us in the here and now. 1 Timothy 3:1, 5 “But know this, that in the last days (our present time) perilous times will come...having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” Here is what the light of the truth of the Word of God says, from such people that turn away. So that when it comes to spiritual warfare, people are not the cause of the problems that we are facing as it pertains to who our enemies are, but the people that deny the reality of the spiritual problems that we are facing, from them we are to stay away, simply because they represent the false light. You see if there is no hell, that means that there is no spiritual warfare, so that by hanging out with that crowd you are out of the game before it even starts. Jonah 1:9 “So he said to them, ‘I am a Hebrew; and I fear the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.’” In chapter one Jonah is totally honest with his fellow shipmates about his circumstance and even tells them that they have to throw him overboard if they want to save their own lives. In the verse above he makes a bold declaration of who he is and of what he believes, it makes me wonder why was Jonah really fleeing from the will of God to begin with? Isaiah 36:20 “Who among all the gods of these lands have delivered their countries from my hand, that the Lord should deliver Jerusalem from my hand?” The king of Assyria was coming against Jerusalem one day, and he was bragging about his previous conquests and ended up insulting the Lord of Hosts. The king of Israel took those insulting words before the Lord and God sent an angel against the Assyrian camp and killed one hundred and eighty five thousand from his army in one night. The Assyrian king went back to Nineveh the capitol of Assyria where he was later killed. So that there was no love lost between these two people. So that the key for understanding spiritual warfare has to do with God’s timing. There is a time for war and there is a time for peace. Hanging around those who have already made up their minds before listening to the counsel of God in any given matter is a hindrance to those whose call is to battle against the forces of darkness that abide in the spiritual realm. Here are a few things that we should know about spiritual warfare: What is under God’s covering mercy today maybe under the wheels of God’s wrath tomorrow. That which is expected of us today may not be what is expected of us tomorrow. A life boat is only good when a ship is sinking, the rest of the time is an eye sore that occupies space. Real light will always expose the works of darkness. Knowing when it is God’s time for wrath or for mercy will insure that we do what is expected of us today, even if it is totally different than that which was expected from us yesterday. Knowing when a ministry ship is sinking or stuck on a sandbar will lead us inevitably to the life boat that will preserve us from spiritual harm. That is what walking in the light means, not stumbling over the works of darkness. If the essence of spiritual warfare is for me to rid myself of the things that hinder my walk with Jesus, so that I can fulfill His calling for my life, then knowing my position within His timing for my life is critical, especially if I am to know when I am ready from His perspective to either move, stay, or to advance into a previously unknown position that He wants me to occupy. Ephesians 1:17-18 “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.” Previous Next Home

CHILDREN AND THE RAPTURE To examine the prophetic timeline revealed in Daniel’s “Seventy Weeks,” the implications of God’s Doomsday Clock, and specifically how the rapture and the Day of the Lord affect children—both those with believing parents and those without—while highlighting God’s justice, mercy, and covenantal protection of the innocent. CHILDREN AND THE RAPTURE Pastor Marcos Marrero October 14, 2023 Objective: To examine the prophetic timeline revealed in Daniel’s “Seventy Weeks,” the implications of God’s Doomsday Clock, and specifically how the rapture and the Day of the Lord affect children—both those with believing parents and those without—while highlighting God’s justice, mercy, and covenantal protection of the innocent. Synopsis: This teaching begins with Gabriel’s prophecy in Daniel 9:24, which sets forth the seventy weeks (490 years) decreed for Israel and Jerusalem, described as a kind of “Doomsday Clock.” While the prophecy focuses on the Jewish people, its implications extend to the entire world, culminating in either the conversion of sinners or their judgment. The crucifixion of Christ created a prophetic “variable,” pausing the clock until the final seven years—the Day of the Lord. God’s patience, as explained in 2 Peter 3:9-10, is rooted in His desire to save as many as possible before the expiration of grace. At the rapture, the dead in Christ will rise first, followed by the living believers, while those who rejected the gospel will face the seven-year tribulation. A pressing question arises: what happens to children, especially those below the age of accountability? For children of believers, 1 Corinthians 7:14 assures that they are sanctified and holy, and therefore will be taken in the rapture. For children of unbelievers, God’s righteousness and justice come into view. Scriptures such as Habakkuk 3:2 (“In wrath remember mercy”) and Revelation 7 & 14 reveal that God will seal and protect 144,000 innocent children, symbolic of all who are left behind but under His care. These sealed ones are described as pure, undefiled, and belonging to the Lord, serving as firstfruits that sanctify all children who remain. The teaching emphasizes that during the first half of the Day of the Lord (1,260 days), children will be spared torment, then taken to be with the Lord before the second half begins. In that latter period, no births, pregnancies, or conceptions will occur (Hosea 9:11, 16), ensuring no child is subjected to the reign of the Antichrist or forced to face the mark of the beast. Ultimately, this message underscores God’s extraordinary lengths to protect the innocent and His ongoing mercy extended to all through the gospel. While the present age of grace remains open, anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:9-10), ensuring not only their own salvation but also the sanctification of their children. The teaching closes by reminding believers that God’s mercy and righteousness extend to “children’s children” (Psalm 103:17), affirming both His justice and His tender care for the youngest among humanity. Inspired Teaching: In Daniel 9:24, God through His holy angel Gabriel reveals to Daniel the prophet what through man’s perspective can only be described as a Doomsday Clock. Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks (490 years total) are determined for your people (Israel) and for your holy city (Jerusalem), to finish transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.” (Parenthesis, italics and bold added by me for emphasis.) Although the revelation is directed to Daniel’s people, the Jewish nation and their holy city Jerusalem, it has tremendous implications for the rest of the world. In order for God to make an end of sins and to bring in everlasting righteousness, He would have to do things that affect the entire world. There are only two ways to end all sins; God either converts all the sinners and give them sinless everlasting new bodies so that they sin no more; or He gets rid of all the sinners who do not want to convert, by killing them all. That is what has to happen before you can have everlasting righteousness in the entire world at the end of the (490) four hundred and ninety years. This is why I refer to this as a Doomsday Clock. These 490 years would have concluded on or about the thirty-seventh year of our Lord, which teaches us not to set up dates even when the numbers match perfectly. God attaches variables to prophecy that only He can know. In the case of Daniel’s vision we can read the variable. Daniel 9:26 “And after the sixty-two weeks (total of 483 years) Messiah shall be cut off…” When we add all the numbers in verse twenty-five, they add up to 483 years, about the year thirty in our present calendar, which was when Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead on the third day; after introducing to the world the new covenant of grace. What happened? Why did God introduce this variable? We can learn two things from this variable. Number one, if God had brought His final judgment upon the world back then, most of the people of the world would have perished, for the majority of them had no way of knowing God’s plan of salvation or His purposes for ending life as we know it. Number two; we learned that it is going to take God seven years to carry out His final purpose for all humanity according to what God revealed to Daniel in His Doomsday Clock. 2 Peter 3:9-10 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise (to put an end to all sin), as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us (willing to wait for His plan of salvation to be proclaimed to all the nations, to save as many as possible), not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come…” Here we see why God opted to wait, and why His Son had to die for our sins. So, He could save as many as will accept God’s offer of grace. But God’s offer of grace has an expiration day, and when that day is reached, His Day of Judgment will come, which is referred to by Peter as the Day of the Lord, and then the end of all things will come without delay. The Day of the Lord will be a period of seven years. Each year will have 365 days. How do we know that? The first 483 years were regular years, so the last seven years will be the same length as the first 483, otherwise, if you use prophetic years (a 360 days year), you end up 30 days short of the 490 years total. When the Lord said 490 years are determined, He meant that all of them in their entirety must be fulfilled, for every single day of the Day of the Lord is numbered. Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Those who died in Christ will be raised from the dead before the Day of the Lord begins. Also, all the believers who are alive and remain will be raptured immediately after the resurrection. But those who ignored the Gospel will be left behind, and will have to live through the final hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Revelation 3:10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” What happens to all the children who are under the age of accountability before and during that terrible Day of the Lord? The good news for us believers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that all the children of believers who are under the age of accountability are sanctified, even if they only have one parent who is a believer—they are holy— therefore they will be raptured along with the rest of us believers. 1 Corinthians 7:14 “For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the (believing) wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the (believing) husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.” Paul is dealing with the dynamics of a married couple, one who is a believer and the other is not, and he is saying that the one who believes makes the unbelieving partner sanctified for the sake of their children—those who are under the age of accountability—so that during the rapture the children and the believing parent will be taken up, and the unbelieving parent will be left behind, for their sanctification is only for the sake of the children’s safety. Now then, what happens to the children who have no believing parents? The answer to this fundamental question can only be answered through God’s system of righteousness and justice which are the foundation of God’s throne. Psalm 97:2 “Clouds and darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.” This psalm is written within the context of the rapture. Psalm 97:6 “The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory.” Revelation 6:14-17 “Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” Even though the Day of the Lord is a Day of Wrath for all the inhabitants of the earth who ignored God’s offered of grace and are left behind, those innocent children who are not raptureed have no say in their parent’s rebellion to the Word of God, but still they will be left behind to endure the Great Day of the Lord. How is God’s righteousness and justice metered out to these children in the time of God’s wrath? Habakkuk 3:2 “…In wrath remember mercy.” Revelation 9:4 “They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.” We see in Revelation chapter seven that before the Day of the Lord is allowed to begin, the resurrection and rapture must take place; for God will spare those who have accepted His offer of grace from wrath. But what about the innocent children who have no parental protection? God will seal 144 thousand boys, (12,000) twelve thousand from each tribe of Israel who will represent all the innocent children that are left behind on the earth after the rapture. All the innocent children will be sealed—protected—from the calamity that follows. After the fifth trumpet sounds, all the demons of hell are released on the earth to torment all those who ignore and reject God’s offer of grace; to show them that hell and all its torments are real. But it would be unfair to subject innocent children to these torments; those who have not reached the age of accountability and are there by no fault of their own. Look carefully at our next Scripture’s description of who are those who have been sealed! Revelation 14:4 “These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.” Firstfruits means: to be the primary part of a larger offering. James 1:18 “Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.” The apostles and the early Christians were a kind of firstfruits offering for those of us who have been saved centuries after their sacrifices were accepted by God. In the same manner the one hundred and forty-four thousand that will be offered as a firstfruits offering, will sanctify and protect all the innocent children that will be left behind in the world after the rapture. Here is something new. These one hundred and forty-four thousand that will be sealed will be innocent children, those who have not reached the age of accountability. Therefore, in their mouths was found no deceit, for they are without fault before God (Rev. 14:5) Why does God select only Jewish boys from the twelve tribes of Israel to be the core of this firstfruits offering? When the age of grace comes to a close, not one single nation out of all the nations of the world would have accepted God’s offer of grace. There will be people raptured from all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, but not one single complete nation will acknowledge Jesus as their Savior and King! If any person or any nation rejects God’s grace, ultimately they will fall under the heavy weight of God’s law, no exceptions. We see that for the first 1,260 days of the Day of the Lord, the entire world, all the peoples and all the nations will be judged according to God’s law; only the children who are under the age of accountability will be spared the torment. They will have to die, for under God’s law the soul that sins must die, and it is appointed unto men to die once and then face God’s judgment. Here we see what the final result of God’s judgment is for all these innocent children who are represented by these one hundred and forty-four thousand who stand before the Lord, to be redeemed. Revelation 14:1 “Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.” Glory to God! The seal that God places on all these innocent children’s foreheads is His Holy Name: THEY BELONG TO ME says the Lord! The one hundred and forty four thousand represent all the children left in the world after the rapture. Psalm 127:3 “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward.” At the end of the first half of the Day of the Lord, one thousand two hundred and sixty days, all the innocent children of the world will be removed from the world to be with the Lord forever and ever. There will be five days in between the 1260 and the 1290 for a total of 2555 days. At the beginning and during the second half, which will be one thousand two hundred and ninety days, there will be no children left in the world. It is during this time that God will judge the nations of the world; the antichrist will be empowered to rule over them and demand that all humans receive his mark or die. It would be unfair to have children who have not reached the age of accountability to be present during this time, since someone else would have to choose their destiny for them. Hosea 9:11 “As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird—No birth, no pregnancy, and no conception!” God will not allow births, pregnancies or conceptions during the last half of His Day of Wrath to protect the innocent from what will be the most horrendous time in human history. Even the women who have not repented, who are pregnant at the end of the first half of God’s Day of Wrath will have their babies removed from their womb to spare their babies from the final judgment of the second half of the Day of Wrath. Hosea 9:16 “Ephraim is stricken, their root is dried up; They shall bear no fruit. Yes, were they to bear children, I would kill the darlings of their womb.” Why would the God of righteousness and justice go through such extreme measures unless to protect the innocent babies from a fate far worse than anyone can imagine. Note: If you miss the rapture of the church, the only way to get saved after that is to die a righteous death in order to enter heaven and be with Jesus. Hosea 10:8 “Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed. The thorn and thistle shall grow on their altars; They shall say to the mountains, ‘Cover us!’ and to the hills, ‘Fall on us!’” The above Scripture in Hosea is a direct quote from Revelation 6:16-17, after the sixth seal is opened and the Day of the Lord is about to begin. Revelation 6:16-17 “And said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” It is amazing to see the great lengths to which God goes to show His mercy to all His creatures. For almost two thousand years now the mercy of God—His desire to spare His human creation from the consequences of their sin—has been and continues to be proclaimed to all the nations through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Listen to this, it is very important: While we are in this age of Grace, ANYONE who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved; and if you have children under the age of accountability they will be sanctified by your salvation and made holy to the Lord. As a parent there is no greater satisfaction than knowing that your little one’s eternal destiny is secured. But know this: that with the same intensity that God loves our children, He loves us too, for we once were His little children ourselves, and we can still be if only we would call Him Abba our precious heavenly Father. Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Psalm 103:17 “But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children.” Previous Next Home

REPAIRING THE DISOWNED STATEMENT The purpose of this message is to help believers understand the seriousness of disowning or denying Christ with their words or actions, and how restoration is possible through repentance, confession, and renewed commitment to their God-given duty and obligation of love. It emphasizes the importance of fulfilling one’s divine responsibility, forgiving others, and walking in obedience so that restoration, healing, and power can manifest in the believer’s life. < Back REPAIRING THE DISOWNED STATEMENT Minister Lisa Kane October 21, 2023 Objective: The purpose of this message is to help believers understand the seriousness of disowning or denying Christ with their words or actions, and how restoration is possible through repentance, confession, and renewed commitment to their God-given duty and obligation of love. It emphasizes the importance of fulfilling one’s divine responsibility, forgiving others, and walking in obedience so that restoration, healing, and power can manifest in the believer’s life. Synopsis: In “Repairing the Disowned Statement,” Minister Lisa Kane teaches from Matthew 26, John 13, and John 21 about Peter’s denial of Christ and his subsequent restoration. Although Peter boldly declared he would never deny Jesus, he disowned Him three times as foretold. His bitter weeping revealed the brokenness needed for God to begin transforming him into the powerful apostle we later see at Pentecost. The message explains how words spoken—whether denial or confession—carry spiritual weight, binding and loosing in both heaven and earth. Peter’s threefold denial required a threefold reaffirmation of love, where Jesus asked him, “Do you love me?” and restored him to his calling. Importantly, Jesus distinguished between affectionate love and love as moral duty and obligation, teaching that true discipleship requires responsibility, not just fondness. Minister Lisa highlights that believers today must recognize their duty to intercede, forgive, and love others as Christ commanded. By fulfilling this obligation, Christians manifest goodwill, break demonic holds, and invite God’s refreshing presence. Practical applications include forgiving even enemies, praying for leaders, interceding for family, and blessing communities. Ultimately, the message calls every believer to examine where they may have denied Christ, repent, confess His lordship, and walk in their moral obligation of love. This restores authority, brings deliverance, and empowers the believer to fulfill their God-given ministry with maturity, just as Peter did. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this on Saturday, October 21st, 2023. Welcome. This message is called repairing the disowned statement. Let's open up an order of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the anointing of your Holy Spirit. We thank you for your wisdom, your knowledge, your understanding. We thank you for teaching us the deep meat of your word and satisfying our spirit and soul with your word. Father God, let us learn what love and our obligation and duty is, Father God. And let us restore our lives unto you after possibly denying you in the past. Thank you, Father God, for your healing and your restoration in our lives in the glorious name of Jesus. Thank you, Father God. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture. This is called repairing the disowned statement. We're going to start here in Matthew 26. We're going to look at verses 34 and 75. Jesus said unto him, he's talking to Peter, verily I say unto thee that this night before the cockcrow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And that word deny there means deny utterly or disown. So he's going to disown Jesus three times. And then later on in verse 75, Peter and Peter remembered the word of Jesus which said unto him before the [ __ ] crow, "Thou shalt deny me thrice." And he went out and wept. And that word wept there means to whail out loud. And he did it bitterly. And it was a violent bitterness. He He was broken. He was ready to die for Christ, ready to lay down his life. And he couldn't figure out, you know, here he is in the courtyard as they're interrogating Jesus. He's standing in front of a a fire pit of some sort. And they're accusing him as being one of the ones who hung out with Jesus. And he denied it as Jesus prophesied he would. And yet he had told Jesus, "Nah, it may everybody else is going to run away, but I'm not." Peter is one of the most interesting disciples you will ever watch and get to know. He fascinates me. Why? Because of his maturity. God Jesus came and got him as a fisherman. And then he showed him what he was going to do. And Peter finally believed it. It finally happened and he learned. But here's where it started. It started with his brokenness. He became broken here. He got to relate with Jesus. He saw him. He walked with him. He lived with him. He got to spend all that quality time. And the moment that Jesus is going to move into his anointing power, the ministry, get crucified for you and me because that was his obligation, his duty. I'm going to show you that here in a moment. When he was about to do that, everybody scattered and ran from him and left him alone, including Peter. And he was hurt by that. He was hurted himself. He was um he was messed up. Hurt by it. Let's look at this a little further in John 13. We're going to look at 36-38. Simon Peter said unto the Lord, "Whi goest thou?" Jesus answered him, "Whether I go, thou canst not follow me." Now, but thou shalt follow me afterwards. Listen that very carefully. We know in hindsight that Peter died on the cross, crucified upside down. He finally met his death. And Jesus is saying, "I got to go get crucified. You can't follow me now, but you will later." So, he's prophesying to Peter. Peter's listening and hearing this. Watch this. Peter said to him,"Lord, why can I why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake." He's going to give up the spirit, the ghost. Peter was ready and willing to die. And Jesus said, "Not yet." Look what Jesus said. Jesus answered him, "Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake?" Look at what that word sake there over me instead. You see, Jesus had an agenda. He knew exactly what he was going to do. And Peter is trying to disrupt what the man of God, the son of God, is going to do. Who are we to disrupt what God wants to do? But here Peter is saying, "I'm going to lay down my life for you. You can say all this junk about everybody running away, but I'm not going to do it." And yet, look what happened. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, the [ __ ] shall not crow till thou hast denied me thrice. And look at that word deny is utterly disowned. So Peter hears this. Of course, he forgets about it. And we saw in our opening scripture that he remembered much later on and he became broken. He he realized for the first time how much of a human being he was. This is where God can start to work in us. This is why I like Peter because when you see the maturity level, you see what he does on the day of Pentecost, you see what he writes in first Peter and second Peter, and you just go, "Who is this guy?" Because it can't be the same Peter that walked with Jesus who tried to stop Jesus from going or doing whatever or I'm going to go do it with you. One of the two. So, I want you to see how this plays out for him and where we're going with this. So now John chapter 21, we're going to get into verses 15-1 17 just so I can put it in the placement here. Jesus already was crucified. Jesus already rose from the dead. He's been around now. He's been walking 40 days here on the earth or sometime in that time period. He's ding with his disciples in his new form with the holes and all that stuff. And he's talking to Peter. So here he says, "So when they had died, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon son of Jonas, lovest lovest thou me more than these?" He saith unto him, "Yeah, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee." He saith unto him, "Feed my lambs." I want you to see what the the two different loves here. This very, very powerful. Watch this. That word lovest that Jesus is saying to him is a social or moral sense duty obligation. It's the G35 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary. So it's a moral obligation. You see Jesus is asking Peter to love me with your duty and obligation. You get that? But Peter answers something different. Watch what he says. I love but Look at he says this is to be a friend fond of. I'm affectionate toward you. Personal attachment. This is G5368 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary. Look at that. To be a friend fond of affectionate personal attachment. So instead of doing the duty and obligation which remember that was the whole crux of the matter here. Jes Jesus had to go die on the cross and he told Peter you can't go where I'm going yet. And Peter says I'm ready to lay down my life. I'm ready to do my duty and obligation. And Jesus is saying that's not your duty and obligation yet. Later, that will be later. I need you to fulfill your duty and obligation, which is different than mine. You see, Jesus had to go to the cross to redeem us from our sin. Peter was going to be a fisherman of men, and he needed to fulfill that duty and obligation. He hadn't done that yet. And remember, he was told he was going to do this. I'm going to show you the scripture here in a moment, but look at that. So Jesus is asking him, do you have the obligation? And remember this is after Christ was crucified. There's something here. Let's go to verse 16. Now he says to him, he say to him again the second time, Simon son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Look at that. that lovest is that G35 social and moral sense duty obligation Peter he he saith unto him yeah Lord thou knowest that I love look at the love he said here to be a friend I'm fond of affectionate personal attachment to you thee he saith unto him feed my sheep that's twice how many times did Peter deny Jesus disown Jesus three times so here Jesus is asking Peter and he's restoring him by asking him to make his commitment now to obligation and duty. Now watch what happens for the third time. This is verse 17. He saith unto him the third time, Simon son of Jonas, Jonas loveth. Now look at this love to be a friend fond of affectionate personal attachment. Do you attach yourself personally to me, Peter? And this is what Peter had been saying the whole time. So, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, lovest thou me? Which that love is to now be a friend. But so technically, it's the first time he's saying it this way. But look at what happens. And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things. Thou knowest that I love. And this he reiterated a third time to be the friend of I'm be fond of you. I'm affectionate toward you. I have a personal attachment to you. And Jesus said unto him, feed my sheep. So now let's look at the dynamics here. Notice what did Peter do when he denied Jesus three time? He spoke it into existence. Now when you speak things into existence, you bind things on the earth which then is bound in heaven. You loose things on the earth which is loosed in heaven. When he disowned Jesus, he said, "I am I'm denying. I have nothing to do with him." This is a very powerful thing. You have to be very careful. So what Jesus needs to do now is he needs to restore Peter back to being part of him so that when he restores him he can go fulfill his obligation do the love that Jesus asked him to do. So he has to ask him three times. So he's asking him are you going to fulfill your obligation? Because see Jesus or excuse me, Peter said he was going to do that, but he got scattered and he was broken. This time Peter is like, I'm going to keep this on the surface. I fondly appreciate you. Thank you. I will commit on the surface. And that's what Jesus did. But or that's what Peter did. Jesus met him though at that moment says okay I'll take you this way but he had already told you Peter but you will so now what happened when he said I will love you and have attachment to you three times that counteracts the disowned statement Peter is restored back unto the kingdom of God with Jesus and he can move forward. And then you can see this in his ministry. You're going to see the transformation and the change in his ministry as he goes about doing this. Now, let's look at this obligation because I want you to see this now. Why Jesus had to do this and what this does to you and me because this is so fascinating, powerful. Here in John 13:34, Jesus says, "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another, as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." All three of those loves is that G35 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary, which means social moral sense, duty, obligation. [Music] Wait a second. Wait a minute. I give you a new commandment that ye love one another, that you are obligated, that you commit your duty to one another. Oh, how I've met I've been teaching on being a priest for your family. I've been I was teaching you last week how to intercede. Actually, the last couple of weeks, how to intercede on your family's behalf by forgiving, speaking the words. Because see G Peter when he spoke the disownment, he had to speak the confession back into existence to have the restoration. This is why Jesus asked him verbally, "Do you love me?" And he answered, "You know that I do. I love you." He had to answer him verbally. Now the restoration is taken into place. And Jesus is saying, "I'm giving you guys a new commandment. All of you, all of you are my disciples." He's telling you to have that moral obligation duty to one another. What is the moral obligation duty that you have toward one another? Well, as a parent, you have kids. It is your moral obligation to feed them, clothe them, put a roof over their heads, get them the things they need, and then add a few extra things here and then when you feel like you want to or earn they've earned it or something of that nature, that's your moral obligation. So, how do you apply that in Christianity? You're going to see godliness manifesting here and the good will. Let's continue on. Verse 35. By this all men, know that ye are my disciples if you have love. Look at this word love. It's different. This is G36 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary. This is the affection or benevolence, which benevolence means goodwill. So, by this shall all men know that you are my disciples. If you good will one to another, now you do good things. This is why you see people like in the church who have a their own business, you'll see them go into ministry. Uh I just saw we had a testimony, one of the Bible says a couple weeks ago and she's a widow and this young man came over and was mowing her lawn and they got to talking. They're both believers in Christ. He says, "You know what? If you ever need anything from me, you come and ask me. I will be here to help you. That is good will toward one another. That is this love. G36, the goodwill, benevolence love. So see what Jesus did here. He gave us a new commandment to be obligated and have our duty, the moral sense towards one another so that they know you're the disciple of Jesus. And then you're to do the good will toward one another because that's how they're going to know because you got to supply your fruit. You got to show them who you are, right? Oh, look at this. And in verse 12, and because iniquity shall abound, look at what this love, see, I want you to see this. This is so powerful. Jesus is prophesying Matthew 24. And because iniquity shall abound, the love, the good will G36 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary shall of many shall wax cold. He prophesied that in the latter days we will not see that good will happening. So in other words, we're not fulfilling our duty and obligation. We're not fulfilling the commandment of love that Jesus told us to have. [Music] This is very very important. This is where we need to realize there's more than having a relationship with God. You see, your love is I I have a relationship. You're f I'm fond of you, Jesus. You are my best friend. You are my God. You are my savior. Wonderful. And this has been my relationship with the Lord all the time. But now he's saying you're going to love one another, which is the commandment he gives you so that you are fulfilling your duty and obligation. How do you do that? So, I've been praying and interceding for family and friends and church. And when you start to intercede, I'm fulfilling my obligation to those around me. Think of it like this. I shared this before. Um, in the last year or two years, the neighborhood where we were living out, Lakeland Senor had a lot of um theft in there and uh over the years and and it it was there. It was prevalent. We were always locking our doors. You were very cautious and everything. And I, you know, I did the thing where I'm casting out demons. Ah, you know, Lord, place your hedge of protection. But I changed my prayer when the Lord gave me this epiphany. I prayed for them to have prosperity. And I blessed the thieves known as the enemy. Why? Because if they got the stuff that they need and want, they won't come to me to take it from me. What an epiphany that is. Oh my goodness. You guys got to get this. So now when you let's say you want revival, guess what you got to start doing is you got to pray for the people's soul and spirit around the area around the church. You've got to fulfill your obligation. Jesus wants a revival, but he's waiting for you. What's the scripture that says creation is waiting on the sons of men to show themselves. This is where it starts. you interceding on behalf of the people around you. This is very very important and very powerful that we have to get this because God said Jesus says love one another. Love with obligation and duty. So like for the the war with Israel Hamas, guess what? I'm asking the Lord to forgive Hamas. I'm asking him to forgive the terrorists. I don't want to. I don't want to do it, but that's my duty and obligation because I love Israel. And if I forgive Hamas and Jesus forgives them too, they change on the inside, get transformed, and become believers in Christ. That's what you want for your family, right? You want your family saved. You should be forgiving them of their sins. By the way, you should be forgiving yourself, too, because you may have cursed them. Oh, man. Did you see so and so again, all high and loaded up? man, that that guy needs rehab. He needs something, but boy, it's ugly and oh, I wish if you would just forgive him and then forgive yourself, clear the curses and you bless him. Now, the spirit can move in him and change him. And scripture clearly tells us that that when they hear and see, they will believe. That's how you bring down bring down the demonic activities that people have opened the doors for that they didn't even know that they did. A lot of the stuff that goes on around us is due to ignorance. I think it's Isaiah Hosea 6:4 or 4:6 where he says we die from or we're destroyed from lack of knowledge. The word destroy is we're we're dumb and silent. But we have a duty, a moral sense, and an obligation to fulfill what Jesus told us to do. And that is for all of our family members. That is for every church member. That is for every ministry. That is for your government. Yeah, we need to forgive Biden. If you have an issue with Trump, you need to forgive Trump. I know it's hard. I didn't want to forgive Hamas. But I also not only did that, I said to demonic activity, loose the hostages. See, whatever you loose on earth is loosed in heaven. And did you see two hostages were already released and sent back? Yeah, prayer works, my friend. Prayer works. You got to get in on this and understand what's going on here. So, look at this. Now, this is Peter talking at the day of Pentecost. This is Acts 3:14 and 19. But ye, he's talking to the Jews, the Hebrews, and really to the Pharisees and the Sadducees, the leadership of Israel. He says, "But ye denied the holy one and the just and desired a murderer to be granted unto you." So there was Barabus and Jesus. And Pontius Pilate says, "Which one do you want me to release?" And they all cried for Barabus. That was not just the high priest. They were antagonizing the crowd, but the crowd fell for it. And they all said, "Free Barabus. Give us the thief. We want him. Crucify Jesus the Christ. We don't want him. He's not our Messiah." They disowned him. See, we when you say something like, "President Trump, it was not my president." You disowned your president. He was the only leadership you had. And now you have no leadership. and you are now open and vulnerable to an attack from the enemy. This is why it's very important that we understand what we disown and how to get it restored. We need to have that restoration in order for us to fulfill our obligation and duty as a minister of Christ, a disciple of Christ. Amen. Now look at verse 19. So he tells you how to do it. So you dis disavowed, you contradicted the holy one, Jesus. Now he says repent. Look what the word repent there means to think differently. Reconsider. Repent ye therefore and be converted. Revert. Turn about that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Because see, times of refreshing come. And as they come, they come in waves. To grab a hold of that wave and to get that refreshing, you need to be repented. You need to be living for Christ. Because when the wave comes, you catch it because you are already established. You haven't disowned him. You haven't contradicted him. You haven't cursed your relationship with God. And you are fulfilling your obligation and your duty, the commandment that Jesus told us to do. Very, very important. Now, look what Peter also says because you can see he's maturing here. Look at now in when he wrote first Peter 1 seven and 8 says that the trial of your faith. Do you think Peter went through a trial when he wailed cried out recognized his failure and how violently bitter he was. He says that the trial of your faith being much more precious than the go than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire might be found to praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. He recognized the brokenness that he went through. Look at the maturity. Now look at this. He says, "Whom having not seen?" Look at he's telling you, "You haven't seen the Christ. I was there with him and I failed." But look what he says. Whom having not seen ye love? Look at that love. The G35. So all these people now that he's talking to are loving under the obligation and the moral sense and the duty, the commandment that Jesus said, something he struggled with because he was ready to die. Why? If he died then and he didn't fulfill the uh his obligation to 3,000 that was saved on day of Pentecost would not have been saved or it would have been done through somebody else. Who knows? But he had to fulfill his duty and obligation. He's recognizing this here and he's telling you I not only recognize it for me. Look at you get to do it and you're doing it without even having been there when we were. You're believing the testimony. He says, "Though ye though now ye see him not yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory." Oh, this discip this disciple Peter is absolutely amazing. You can just see the transformation and the change that he went through. And he's telling us now how to deal with it. You see, he said, "I had to repent. I had to confess." Look at what Romans Paul clearly identifies it in Romans 10:9. He says, "If that if thou shalt confess, you're going to acknowledge with thy mouth the Lord Jesus." You have to acknowledge Lord Jesus. You have to say it. That's your acknowledgement. You're confessing and shout believe. Look at what that belief, the word believe there is. Have faith. How do you have faith? How do you believe? You're talking to the sky. You can't see Jesus. You don't even know if he's real or not. that yet me he's real because I'm telling you I have seen him move in my life and believe my testimony I am not kidding you I have moved out here to Missouri and I have brought nine people and the hand of God was on this move through and through every little detail was handled taken care of fully and completely under God because he blessed us why because we are fulfilling our duty and obligation putting him first in our lives having that relationship with him and now interceding. He's teaching us. He's helping us grow like he did with Peter because we choose to be disciples. We choose to put him first and then he blesses us. This is how this works. And he says, "So believe, have faith in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead." See, when you're talking to the sky, you're actually believing that God raised him from the dead because you're talking that he's alive. Isn't that amazing? That's just so wonderful. And thou shalt be saved. Look at that. Say, make whole, restore. When you say, Lord Jesus, I love you. Like Peter had to say. Now, he said it through fondness, appreciation. I I love you, Lord. You're great. You're wonderful. And that's how many Christians love Jesus. They love him that way. So when you say, "Jesus, I love you. Jesus, Lord Jesus, I ask you to save me. I ask you to be my eternal Lord and Savior. Put my name in the Lamb's book of life. When you say that and you're confessing, you are made whole. Now, watch what happens. Yeah, watch this. For whoso, this verse 13, for whosoever shall call upon, invoke, there's that confession and acknowledge the name of the Lord shall be saved. Look at that word save. Save, deliver, heal, preserve. You have to call upon Jesus. When you invoke Jesus, Lord Jesus, I acknowledge you're the son of God. And I'm calling on you, invoking the name of Jesus. Because now you're a believer in Christ when you ask him to forgive you of your sins. And what happens is when you invoke him now and you say the name of Jesus, you are being healed, preserved. Let's go back to that delivered and safe from whatever circumstance circumstance or situation you're in. Whether you're having a problem at work or with your neighbor or with the devil himself and you're having to deal with all you have to do is say the name of Jesus. You see, let's say you're dealing with health issues. Jesus, you are Lord over my health. You are Lord over this cancer. You are Lord over my joy. You are Lord over my grief. You see, you are invoking the name of Jesus. Now, in order to have the authorities, you have to be a believer, which means you have to say, go back to verse nine, confess with the mouth, and believe that God raised him from the dead. You will be saved. You say, "Jesus, I'm sorry. I messed up and I'm believing that you're alive and I'm asking you to forgive me." And as soon as you do that, you are made whole immediately. Your body may not know it yet. Your mind may not know it yet. You might be struggling and fighting something, a division within your soul. But the name of Jesus, now you have the authority to go before the heavenly court. Here's how this works. As I alluded to this earlier in the beginning of the message, when you forgive, so it's you and Jesus before God and this whole heavenly court. And you got demons on one side, angels on the other, however it's set up, I don't know, but it's something like that. And what happens is you say, "Lord Jesus, forgive me." So Jesus takes you up to in front of his father and he says, "Father, she's asked me. He's asked me to forgive her him. I have forgiven them. So you forgive them. So the father says, "Okay, they're forgiven." So they have their rights restored. They can have this, this, and this. And then the devil might be off to the side, but but but and God says, "Nope. Justice served." See, you are immediately saved. Justice is served. And now the devil has no right to accuse you of anything ever again. So what happens is you can do what Job did. Job always prayed forgiveness over his kids, especially after they had a party. He was there the very beginning of the sunrise the next morning and he was um uh had with his rams and his bulls and he was doing sacrifices and he says just in case they curse God while they were having the party. This is how much that's his duty and obligation because he was praying for his kids. You see this? Look at the manifestation of the word of God here and the duty and the obligation here. So when you fulfill this and you are walking in your obligation. So what happens is you're there in the heavenly core. You're forgiven. You forgive something else. The devil comes calling and saying, "No, no, no, no, no." And Jesus says, "But I have forgiven her. I forgive it, too." And then God says, "Okay, it's forgiven. Clear." It voids, it nullifies whatever contract the demon has in that in that place. You see, let's use Hamas as an example. They open the door for demonic activity to be in their their hearts. Um, just from the violence that they did, just trying to keep this as nice as possible, but the violence that they committed cannot that it's unfathomable to me. That has to be demonic. I just can't see a human being doing something this degrading and wrong. But when I forgave them, because see the demons is telling God, they did this, they did that. And he has a bond, a hold on them. And God says, "Well, yeah, they did." Because nobody's forgiven them. But see, the moment I forgave, Jesus stood right next to me. He says, "And I forgive them, too." And so God says, "Okay, they're forgiven. Rights are restored. We're going to release the hostages. The bondage is let go." The demons have to let go. They no longer have a binding contract in place with that person. Now, can it be re-established? Oh, yes. So, all that person has to do is just invite the devil back into his or her life and I'll forgive him again in my next prayer. And now it's a matter of who outlasts who. I took it one step further and uh like for the weather for Southern California. I've taught I've shared that testimony before, but basically I went to the Lord in a very bold statement says, "Shut the mouths of these people trying to curse the weather, trying to curse what we're blessing. Keep it shut so the blessing can break through." And then it did. And we started having rain there again in Southern California. It was really nice. We had so much rain, as a matter of fact. But this is what I'm talking about. This is how you restore yourself out of a disowned statement. You do the same exact thing. Lord Jesus, forgive me because I denied Jesus back then or I have denied Jesus in my past. I'm asking you to forgive me. Jesus comes right next to you. I forgive you. Heavenly Father, I forgive them of this. This is forgiven. And heavenly father says, I agree. And the the uh he his gavvel is finalized. He punches it down. Boy, I just can't even I got it visually, but I can't speak it. But anyways, and the devils have to run. They have to release. Now, imagine if you started forgiving somebody that hurt you. By the way, it's not for them. It's for you. I taught on this just in the last couple of weeks. When you forgive someone else, see, when you're holding on to unforgiveness, your body is tight and it's in a lot of pain and it's hurting and it only gets worse from there. And that hardness turns into cancer. So, if you're dealing with cancer, you might want to look at the spirit of unforgiveness. And whether you want to forgive them or not, I suggest saying it anyways. Because when you speak it out, what happens is you're letting the angels and the demons know up in the heaven and and you're letting Jesus know, okay, I'm going to speak this out. And it's okay to say to Jesus, I don't want to, but I'm going to be obedient to your word and do it anyways. And Jesus says, okay, I forgive them, too. You're you're allowing Jesus to forgive. And what happens now? You're allowing Jesus to change your heart to to mold it and make it better. So, it softens and before you know it, it's just water under the bridge. And now you're not going to be sick. You're not going to get cancer. Not from that incident anyways. But it's up to you whether you want to continue to go and fulfill your obligation to not just yourself, but to those around you and to the heavenly father because he's got a ministry for you. He's calling you to ministry, whatever that may be. You have to start acting on that. It is his commandment that he gave you. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the blessing of your word and we thank you for the golden nuggets that you've given us today and the revelation that we have. You are amazing and glorious and wonderful. We thank you in the name of Jesus. Amen. God bless you and I will see you in the next message. Bye. Previous Next Home

The message aims to equip listeners with scriptural truths, historical examples, and practical application, so they may remain steadfast, confident, and at rest in Christ while recognizing God’s sovereign plan unfolding in the world. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa Kane explores Philippians 4:7–9 as the foundation for understanding God’s peace. She highlights Paul’s example of living free in spirit despite physical bondage, showing that true peace is rooted in Christ rather than circumstances. Drawing parallels from biblical history—such as Israel’s deliverance from Egypt and the rejection of Christ in His day—Lisa emphasizes that God often works through the separation of two groups: those who trust Him and those who resist Him. She connects these truths to current world events, including political upheaval, prophetic fulfillment in Israel, and end-time signs foretold by Jesus in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13. Despite troubling circumstances, believers are called to focus on eternity, walk in righteousness, and live in confidence that God’s plan is advancing. The message explains the mystery of death, the rapture, and the power of baptism as symbolic of dying to sin and living in newness of life. Lisa stresses the importance of nourishing the Word of God like a seed, so it grows into spiritual maturity and peace. She also addresses the vital role of confession and the spoken word in aligning with God’s promises, binding and loosing in spiritual authority, and casting burdens onto the Lord. Through personal testimony, biblical teaching, and prophetic insight, the message reassures listeners that God’s peace is available and powerful. By humbling themselves, casting cares on Him, and standing in faith, believers can overcome fear, frustration, and deception, setting a testimony of peace for the world to witness in these last days. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane. I'm recording this on Sunday, November 13, 2022. And this message is called the peace that surpasses all understanding. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this word and we thank you for your blessing on it. Oh, let it penetrate our hearts and minds. Let us believe, receive, apply, and live your word. Thank you for the power of your word. And thank you, Jesus, for coming and dying on the cross for our sins and showing us this powerful peace that we have in spite of your return that we can be here in peace and know that our eyes are focused on you and have that confidence in you, Lord. Thank you, Father God. In the glorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go into our opening scripture here in Philippians 4:es 7 and 9. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me these do and the God of peace will be with you. Paul wrote those words and Paul was a very determined man of God. He set an example for us and you can see what he says here. He clearly says it. Look at you know the things you which you learned and received and heard and saw in me these do. So he said, I set an example here. You know, he came to the point in his life where he was content even in bondage because he wasn't in bondage. He was always free in his mind and in his heart. And that is what I'm going to teach you today because we are in some very interesting times. And I want to show you some mystery in relation to these times because you know I have been telling everyone look at our current US election results here and I've been telling everyone around me there isn't going to be a red wave and the demons are going to win everything back because we need evil in power for the return of the Lord. And because we saw Matthew 24's beginning scriptures, Luke 21, Mark 13, the beginning set of scriptures that Jesus prophesied about, rumors of wars, wars, large earthquakes in various places, famines, pestilences, COVID that those prophecies came fulfilled in our lifetime, in our we saw it. I'm a I witnessed that and I testified to that. Amen. And each person who saw that knows. Now, in that context, Jesus said, "This generation shall not pass away." So, for all you folks out there that says, "Well, one, there's no rapture. And two, it hasn't happened in the last 2,000 years." Well, because that prophecy took place, it's going to be in our generation. And because the everything's in place for it as well, you know, the nation of Israel is the nation of Israel again. So, you can see everything played out. it I mean it's prophesied to the minute detail in such a way that you can see it and you know there is no doubt here. Okay. So I want to show you some scriptures because you need to know this and you need to have a piece about it because I'm going to tell you it gets extremely frustrating knowing that you did what you were supposed to do. You prayed, you fasted, you said, "Lord, this there's evil in in our leadership. What Lord intervene, intervene." And then there's others that just want to take action with their own hands. And it gets extremely frustrating. But let's remember Bible. Let's remember the history here. Egypt, God hardened Pharaoh's heart. Moses and Aaron were in the presence of the Pharaoh and tell and showing signs and wonders and this man still refused to let his people go because God interveneed. And then and notice there were two groups of people. We have two groups of people today. So you had the Egyptians who did not believe in God. You had the Israelites, the nation of Israel, who did believe in God and God separated them. God pulled the nation of Israel out into the wilderness. And the Egyptians because they rejected God, which you know, this was God's purpose. God said, "I harden Pharaoh's heart." He did it on purpose. He killed them all with the water in the uh Red Sea and that separated the nation of Israel and Egypt permanently because we know that the nation of Israel wanted to go back. We also know that in Jesus' day you had two groups of people and that was very interesting because you had the group that was crucifying Jesus, the nation of Israel rejecting him and then you had his followers and you saw the the change take place. the the veil was torn in two and you saw the one group get rejected and you know they went into like the nation of Israel kind of just shut down. I mean they they have their seven years still left. Remember revelation is coming that is for the nation of Israel that is not for the bride of Christ. So but God created two things. He he took the representation of God from himself, from the nation of Israel, put it on Jesus, and Jesus said, "Here, bride, you do this." So, I've been teaching on this now for several messages. So, this has happened, and that's what we're living in right now, where we have mercy and grace because of what Jesus did. He redeemed us. And again, two groups of people. So that generation that uh rejected Messiah, that generation that rejected God and letting his people go, well, they're known for that. What do you think this generation's going to be known for? They're going to be known for missing the boat because they're going to go into the seven-year tribulation because they did not repent. So you've got again the two groups of people here and one group can't control the other group because God is doing this. So how do you get your mind wrapped around that? Because I'm telling you these are very odd times. So, and and to reaffirm the word of God and its truth because, you know, when I was putting this message together, this part was so strongly in me. It's like I need to share it. So, let's look at this because this is going to build our confidence and assurance in the word of God in what's coming. Okay, that's what this is about. Watch the scriptures here. Look at this. Uh, I did not change a scripture. Let's go here. Here we go. Hebrews 9:27. And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. Okay, so one of the things that people struggle with and this remember I talked about a healthy theological debate about who the two witnesses are and stuff like this. Well, there's a mystery behind death. Okay. So, for those of you who still think that the rapture is not going to happen, that the word rapture is not in the Bible, the word caught up is, and in context is caught up with Jesus in the clouds, very very clearly spoken and very easy words to understand in the translations from Latin from Greek to Latin. Uh that's where the rapura Latin means caught up. Now, the Greek word is harpo, and it is a more powerful word because it says in the nick of time. It really is very applicable to what's going on. But the key here is, okay, if everyone's appointed to die once, and you're about to build your faith, watch, learn, look at, listen to this revelation. What about the people that change in the twinkling of an eye? They don't die. What about Enoch and Elijah who didn't die? Oh, let's reveal the mystery because I want you to have your faith built up here and see the return of Christ and have that knowledge because you need the confidence and assurance to have this peace that surpasses all understanding. Look at this scripture about believers in Christ. These are the ones that are going to get caught up with the Lord. Watch this. Romans 6, we're going to read verse 4 and verse 11. Therefore, we were buried with him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Likewise, you also reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to c to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. I want you to see something there. As soon as you are in the ministry with the Lord, okay, so this is what happens when you get saved. Remember, we're made from dirt, the soil. God formed man out of the dirt of the earth. And when we receive the word of God and that seed is planted in us because we're dirt, it gets planted in us. When we go to get baptized, we go down under the water. We come up, we germinate or we uh water the seed to germinate and start to grow. Now, what happens here is a couple of things. You know, you've seen plants make it and some don't. If you ever been a gardener of any kind, you will know that some make it, some don't. So, the key here is that you need to nourish the seed. You need to let it grow. And in order to do that, you have to expand your mind, get the revelation of the scripture, and let it grow into the tree of life because that is what you are. You represent life in Christ, which means you're dead to sin. So those that live righteously, which is going to lead to peace, and we're going to see that connect here. When you live righteously, you're called to go up in the rapture because the return of Christ is coming and you're going to change in the twinkling of an eye. And you're already dead. Your eternity already begins now. Just because you're still in the flesh doesn't mean anything. You're already on God's side in the heavenly realm. Amen. Oh, hallelujah. So now, because we can be in this times and we see all these things that are going on, you see how this all applies. Now, I want you to understand something. You know, uh, baptism is not necessary for salvation. And I know that a lot of people take it as this is your acknowledgement that you're a Christian. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Remember what the word of God says. The confession of your mouth is your salvation. Remember Jesus on the cross and he had two thieves on each side of him. One thief was thief was mocking him. The other thief says don't mock him. He's truly innocent here. Jesus said to the one guy who defended him, I assure you I will see you in paradise in a few hours. Was that thief baptized? No. So what happened when Jesus was baptized? Because remember, we need to follow his example just like we're following Paul's example. We got to follow their examples. They set the parameters for us today because we need that. We need to see it. We need to follow it because we need to be in our peace to go through these end times because we're a generation that's going to be well known for futures to come, for ages to come. Okay? Because we let it happen. Did we? No. But we were there trying our best and our hardest. But the outcome is evil will rule until and then the whole thing happens when Jesus comes on Armagand Armageddon. So this is very very powerful, very important that you need to know. You need to see that as you get baptized, what did Jesus do when he got baptized? He came up, he went into the wilderness and he dealt with the devil and then he went into ministry. So he dealt with the strong man and then he went and laid hands on people. That's what baptism is all about is laying hands on the sick and entering the kingdom of God. Let's let's look at that a little more specifically. Romans 14:17, for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. So you see, you enter the kingdom of God as soon as you are baptized. You start to germinate the seed. You turn into a new creation. You change and you enter into this realm that is so extraordinary that people look at you and and you do set the example because see let's say uh suffering happens. You're you're in a situation where there's suffering going on and you just pray and you're at peace and you continue to be at peace. People look at you and go, "How come you're not more stressed out about this?" And here's the thing is when you're walking in that peace and when they see all hell break loose because they're going to see it. That day of the Lord is coming. They're going to try to call you because they're going to see what you know. That's your testimony. That's what you need to be showing here and now. Colossians 3:15. and let the peace of God rule in your hearts to which also you were called in one body and be thankful. You see when you are standing in that peace, it is setting a testimony and it is ruling your heart so that people see and know and again this is building your confidence that we know that the Lord is returning. We saw that every man was appointed to die. They see that in the twinkling of the eye, these people that die, they're already dead in Christ. So, they don't have to die. God's going to take them. Enoch was righteous. God took him. Now, he hasn't died yet. Uh Elijah, he went up in a chariot of fire. God took him, too. He He's not dead either. We know that there's two witnesses that's not identified in Revelation. They will die three and a half years in. It's good chance of Enoch and Elijah because that is to fulfill scripture. And we know of the two evil antichrist men in Moses day that the earth swallowed up that I taught on last week. Dayan and Aberon as probably the prophet and the beast. So there was two other people who hadn't died. They've been judged though already. I the scriptures will fulfill itself. You have to realize this. This is why when you see this movement like in our US elections here, we everyone kept saying red wave, red wave. I'm like, you guys got to know scripture. If you know scripture, you will know that they're not going to win. Now, the Old Testament talked about this too in detail. And I want to show you some scripture there because I think you're going to see how applicable this is and how even the Old Testament and New Testament just connect and join together. It's really awesome. Watch this. Isaiah 32:16-20. Then justice will dwell in the wilderness and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. The work of righteousness will be peace and the effect of righteousness uh quietness and and assurance forever. The work of righteousness will be peace and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever. Verse 18, my people will dwell in a peaceful habitation in secure dwellings and in quiet resting places. Though hail comes down on the forest and the city is brought low in humiliation. Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, who send out freely the feet of the ox and the donkey. I want the reason I added those last two scriptures into that grouping there is I wanted you to see about the hail. I taught on this already. Scripture clearly tells us about the day of the Lord, the invasion of Gog and Magog and um the hail so bad that men curse God because of it. So, do you think that message of peace in that scripture was applicable to us today? Oh, you better believe it. Let's look at that again because I kind of stumbled over reading it. Watch this. Then justice will dwell in the wilderness and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. The work of righteousness will be peace. Remember I just talked about being in the right standing with God, having his word nourished, feeding it with his word, watering it so that you grow into this tree of life. To do that, you have to spend time in the word. And it's not enough to be in church once, two, three times a week. You have to spend the alone time with the Holy Spirit in order to get revelation. in order for you to rightly judge judge to rightly judge the teachings you're hearing. You can't do that unless you're in the scripture. And if you're just going to be that little old little sheep that just, you know, takes everything in and just follows what everybody does, you would have fell for this red wave. You see how this works? Now look at that. So the work of righteousness will be peace and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever. You see that confidence and assurance has built within you. You see, I already have that assurance because I've been spending time in the word and I knew what was going to happen. And look, the outcome is is that it happened. I'm telling you folks, it is absolutely imperative that you spend time in the word because you will be at peace and have that confidence. Now, let me show you how it works. Having this piece and applying it because I'm going to tell you right now, you can easily trip and fall. I almost did. Yeah, I was very upset. I'll get to that testimony here in a bit. I want you to see the scripture. This scripture I probably have in almost every message I teach, but is my favorite of all time. Look at this. Romans 10:9-10. that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes under righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made into salvation. Okay? You see that? With the mouth salvation is made. Look at that. Uh with the mouth confession is made into salvation. So the confession of the spoken word remember and I taught on this last time was let there be light that spoken word the power of the numa. Okay. So to have that peace. So sharing a little testimony here without the details. I just know that I was very upset at work a couple Fridays ago and uh I remember just sitting there in the bathroom. I was mad there. you know, something should have happened, didn't happen. Anyways, and you know, that goes to show where your heart and mind is, by the way. So, I'm using myself as a testimony here. So, I'm in the bathroom. I'm just crying out to God cuz I'm mad. And he says, "Well, what's more important? What I was mad about or his return?" And it put me in perspective very quickly. and all that emotion. But see, I had gone to God and I said, "Lord, I am mad about this." And he got me back on the right track. And because I spoke the situation to him, I gave it to him. Remember what Moses had to do with them birthe? They were the spirit of antichrist. They're in the wilderness for 40 years and they had been there for some time. And these two guys with their families and whomever sided with them went to Moses and said, "Who made you prince over us? You know, where's my uh land flowing with milk and honey? Where, you know, I should be laying here and people should be putting grapes into my mouth." And Moses like, I didn't do this because of me. I did it because of God. So, uh, Moses goes to God and says, "What's this all about?" God tells Moses, "Tell him to come see me." So, Moses tells him to come. And they said, "No." Do you see the selfishness behind these two guys? It's all about me. I want to make my life better. That is the spirit of Antichrist. And that's what a lot of people have. I want to make the elections right. We need these people in power, not these. You see what's going on here? I'm trying to teach you something here. So, you know, God dealt with these two men. I believe that's going to be the prophet and the beast. Who knows? You know, the scriptures don't identify who the two witnesses are, who the prophet is and the beast. But I would not be surprised because God completes his word. That is God. But the moment that you give it to the Lord and even if you don't even know, you know, for years I remember telling the Lord, I don't want to miss your rapture. Whatever it is I got to do, teach me. And here I am today dwelling in the secret. But he did teach me. It took some time, but I learned. So I want you to understand the power of the spoken word. Now, Moses spoke over those two guys and he spoke the word of God. He told the the camp to back off. Now, you can go read this in Numbers. I already taught on it, so I'm not bringing all of that element in, but because he spoke the word of God. You just had your confession. You had your situation. You see what's going on. Lord, I'm concerned about the elections. And God puts it back in your mind. What's more important? Eternity with me and my return for the moment for righteous goodness to overcome evil. Don't you know that evil needs to be in place? The whole world has to reject the nation of Israel for this. That means America has to do it too. So the spoken word has an active element here that moves things. Jesus explained it best. Let's go look at a couple scriptures here. Matthew 16 18- 19. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Remember I talked about the kingdom of God and entering the kingdom of God. And that is when you get baptized and you enter the kingdom of God, your spoken word changes things. It changes it for whatever you say. You know, it's like that saying, you think you're coming down with a cold and you say, "No, I think I'm coming down with a cold and by because you said it a few days later or within hours you're well because you spoke it." You know, I I was pretty confident I was coming down with CO a second time. And I remember that day I had a fever and I was like, "Lord, no, no, no, no, no, no. I don't have time for this." I said, "Nope. I'm not sick." And I refused to be sick. Now, I did have a fever that day. Don't get me wrong. The physical was still there, but by the next day, everything was gone and I was back to normal. The spoken word makes a huge difference. It does. It's so powerful that that Jesus said it twice. We just saw it in Matthew 16. Look at this. Now we're in Matthew 18 15 and 20. And watch how he applies this here because now this applies. Remember, we have a clear dividing line in our nation. It is 50/50. You've got a group of people that want abortion that want to sin and have God bless them for it. You got that group of people. They reject God. Then you have the other group of people that are no, no, no, you can't do that. I mean, and you know what? They're under strong delusion. One of the things that's going on right now, I don't know if you guys saw this, but the interfaith group, I don't remember the full title of their name. And either next week or the week after, they're going to they're they're calling all religious leaders to join them on Mount Si so that they can write a new ten commandments. Yes, you heard me correctly. To write a new ten commandments to save the earth. Now, I'm going to tell you right now because there this is all about, you know, climate change and the earth and all that kind of stuff and people fall for this. Remember Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but not my word." So, we already know the earth is going to die. Go read the end of Revelation and see how it ends. We have the victory. God has the victory. I'm on God's side. In case you haven't figured that out yet, you should. So, these people are falling for that. So, they think this is a good thing. You know, I want to tell you right now, set a new ten commandments against God's word. No, no, no, no. You don't do that. But God is saying, Jesus said it twice about the power of the spoken word. And I want you to see the ministry that you have here in the kingdom of God. Look at this. This is now watch how he applies this too. It's very, very powerful. So that we can apply it to this group of people that are following you for all this stuff. Watch this. Moreover, if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you've gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. Assuredly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever loose you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by my father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst in them. You see the power of the spoken word and what it does. You have to wonder, you know, where we are today. You know, I understand the Lord has been moving. So, he's caused all this. But I wonder if there were enough determined people who were like Paul who wanted to change the world and he Paul's like, "You got to let me do this, Lord." And he had a thorn in the flesh and he asked God three times to remove it. And God says, "No, my grace is sufficient for you." Because Paul was buffeted. He tried to go places and the devil fought him hard, knocked him down. Paul got back up, got knocked down again. He got back up. He dealt with principalities. He was knocking him down. He had this walk with God. And God's like, "Hold on, my son. Slow you down because we got to we got a few more generations here that need to take place." You see, God's plan is to get to the end of his scripture to fulfill prophecy. And that's the side we need to be on. So, how do you apply the spoken word to keep your peace? Oh, watch this. Watch this. Ecclesiastes 11:1-2. Cast your bread upon the waters. What does bread represent besides life? It's your most important element. You need bread to survive. I know we got a lot of vegans and stuff out there, but you you're actually a little sickly on the inside when you choose not to have bread. It just needs to be moderation, folks. But anyways, that is the most important thing. Whatever is important to you at that moment, the US elections. Cast your important bread. Cast the US elections, look at that, upon the waters, for you will find it after many days. give a serving to seven and also to a for you do not know what evil will be on the earth. You see what's going on here? Because that's applying to evil here. And we know that we've got an evil uh leadership in place right now that we have to cast out. It doesn't even just go there. There's even further. We're going to go to Peter here in just a moment, but I want you to see that Lord, I give you the elections because that's important to me. But your word is more important. Your plan is more important. And I'm h asking you to get my mindset straight. So I cast it to you. You see how you do that? You speak that word and it changes everything on the inside. The dynamics change. Watch what Peter says here. This is 1 Peter 5:6-11. Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God. And that's exactly what you're doing the moment you speaking that word because you're mad. You think this should go right. You think righteousness should be here and you feel like you're letting evil in. But he says, "Humble yourself." Look at the scripture. These are powerful. Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God that he may exalt you in due time. Casting all your care upon him, for he cares for you. Be sober. Be vigilant. Because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking seeking whom he may desire to put that into perspective. How many people are going to be upset with this election and do something stupid? But because if you had already been spending time with the word of God, even though you're upset about it, you had cast it, you can at least say, "I know God's work is going on here. He's up to something. I know he is. He's coming back. So, I'm just going to get my mind back on my eternity with him." You see how applicable that is? And when you miss that, because you haven't missed many time, you can easily get caught up here in the anger. And once you get angry, the devil pushes your buttons and causes you to do something stupid where like January 6, these people did this minor invasion and now they spend years in jail whereas murderers are getting out less time than them. You see the the hypocrisy here? It it should be frustrating but at the same time you just give it to the Lord and you say this I cast to you Lord. Amen. Let's go back to the scripture here. Because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Verse nine, resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. Oh, how awesome is that word? To him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. God comes first, my friend. You need to humble yourselves. And I will tell you this, like Moses dealt with Dayam and Aberon because he went to God and God dealt with them by opening the earth and swallowing them whole. When you put God first and you cast that care to him, you speak the word, look what happens. Romans 16:20, "And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly." When Satan's been nitpicking you and he's been doing all this stuff and you tell him to get below your feet, he runs, but all you know, he he affects the whole atmosphere and people come, people do God do Satan's job for him on a regular basis. Really unfortunate, but that's exactly what happens. And is his friends and family, okay? So, it just happens. That's that's the way he works because we all have our emotions. We all are having to humble ourselves and that is very challenging. But the moment you do and the moment you cast it out, he runs. It effectively stops Satan from being fruitful in your mind and in your heart. That is the God of peace ruling in you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. That is a great word. Apply it, use it, speak it, and live it. Hallelujah. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this message. Oh Lord, let us receive, walk and live by your word and to have the the gumption to speak your word and to speak our cares to you so that we can humble ourselves before you and give you this so that we could see our eternity with you and be excited about your return. Father God, oh we love you, we praise you, glorify you and honor you and in the name of Jesus. Amen. God bless you. I will see you in the next message. Bye-bye. Previous Next Home
- Man's Final Destiny: Revelation Unveiled | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
Man's Final Destiny: Revelation Unveiled The objective of Man’s Final Destiny is to present a clear, Spirit-led framework for understanding the Book of Revelation, equipping believers to recognize its chronological unfolding, prepare for Christ’s return, and stand firm as faithful witnesses in the last days. Man's Final Destiny: Revelation Unveiled Pastor Marcos Marrero January 26, 2026 Man's Final Destiny - Revelation Unveiled (Front Cover) Objective: The objective of Man’s Final Destiny is to present a clear, Spirit-led framework for understanding the Book of Revelation, equipping believers to recognize its chronological unfolding, prepare for Christ’s return, and stand firm as faithful witnesses in the last days. Synopsis: Man’s Final Destiny begins with a vivid personal vision in which the author encounters Jesus Christ in a life-changing revelation, igniting a lifelong mission to understand and teach the truths of end-time prophecy. From this foundation, the book provides an in-depth, expository exploration of Revelation, emphasizing its two-fold perspective: the physical events unfolding in history and the spiritual realities revealed from heaven. The book carefully constructs a chronological framework for Revelation, showing how events interconnect across time and dimensions. This approach enables the development of a prophetic timeline that aligns scripture with historical events and anticipates future fulfillment. Central themes include: The distinction between the faithful Philadelphia church and the lukewarm Laodicean church. The seamless transition of God’s representation on earth from the Church to Israel during the final days. The unveiling of the seven seals as a spiritual progression through the Church Age rather than merely future judgments. The role of the four horsemen as spiritual forces shaping history and preparing for the culmination of God’s plan. The dispensational “clock” that reveals God’s timing and alignment of human history with divine purpose. Through detailed scriptural interpretation, historical parallels, and prophetic insight, the author presents Revelation not as a confusing collection of visions but as a unified, living narrative pointing to Christ’s ultimate triumph and the fulfillment of God’s promises. At its heart, the book is both a warning and a call to readiness. It urges believers to recognize the signs of the times, strengthen their faith, and hold fast to the truth of God’s Word. By unveiling the mysteries of Revelation with clarity, Man’s Final Destiny seeks to prepare the Church for the return of Jesus Christ and inspire confidence in His eternal kingdom. Sample first pages of the Book/Manual: Personal Introduction It was early morning Sunday, February 12, 1989 in the Southern California city of Garden Grove, somewhere about 4:30 AM that I was dreaming about my little hometown of La Isabela where I was born and grew up, in the northern coast of central Cuba. It was one of those dreams that just seemed to keep on going all night long. It was a very dark night in the dream and my wife was walking with me. I was trying to get to “my father’s house,” that’s how I was referring to it in the dream even though in reality I always called that house “my home.” Since I was born in that house in 1947 and it was from the front porch of that same house that was built on stilts over the water, that I got in a small boat eighteen years later and came over to America where I was granted political asylum in 1965. In the dream there was a great deal of gunfire that had erupted throughout the entire small town, which made it very difficult to navigate the narrow streets to “my father’s house” where we would be safe. In the dream I was feeling so guilty that I had gotten my wife in such a mess, since in real life she refuses to travel to Cuba where she feels that it is not safe to go. Continuing with the dream, I knocked on the door of a house less than a block from where I was trying to go, and we were given shelter within that house. However, I was so restless that I kept pacing back and forth and could not find rest, trying to figure out how I was going to get us to “my father’s house.” Finally I got so exhausted that I found a chair in the kitchen where my wife had been sitting around a table and gratefully enjoying the company of our gracious hosts. As I sat down, my mind was still racing; I refused to engage in trivial conversation, keeping my focus on the dangers that surrounded us and on the goal of getting safely to my appointed destination. Realizing this, those who sat around the table asked me to teach them about all that was taking place and what it meant. Breathing a sigh of relief, I said to myself: “Finally someone is taking seriously all these events that encompass us and are now desirous to know what they mean.” In the dream I immediately began to tell them that these were the signs of the end times; I had barely spoken those words when all of the sudden the walls around me disappeared, the darkened skies rolled away in an instant and I was not dreaming anymore! It is so hard to accurately describe what takes place during a spiritual vision because what one experiences is usually lost in the narrative, since the feelings cannot be adequately explained. In an instant I found myself in a realm more real than anything I’ve ever encountered in my life. How could I explain the shock I experienced when faced with the empirical evidence of the existence of another dimension? I was in it! There is no human way to describe how the spiritual mind is able to process so much more information when heightened to the euphoric state of the dimension of the heavenly lights. Instantaneously I was able to think, reason, question, test, and apply myself to understand what was happening within me in many different levels simultaneously, while at the same time observing and participating in the external events that were unfolding around me. John 21:25 “And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.” This Scripture is not an exaggeration! The events that take place in one second of time in the spiritual realm in which Jesus operates, would take millions and millions of words to properly detail, catalogue and explain. Within seconds my eyes saw Him! As the skies receded and I was looking up into the bright white sky, Jesus came out into full view out of the east. He was walking in the air towards me at a very rapid pace but yet at the same time, it was like if He was moving at the speed of light. I know that what I am saying does not make sense, but like I said, extra dimensional experiences elude natural explanation. It was like if someone was rapidly walking on top of a flat train cart going forward while the train is moving at an incredible rate of speed. I was able to perceive both movements at the same time that they were occurring even though He was headed towards me on nothing but bright sky. I feel so inadequate trying to explain the multitudes of feelings that I experienced the very instant that I first saw Him. Next month it will be nineteen years since I had the vision and this is the very first time that I am truly making an effort to write about it in detail. And the only reason that I am doing it, is to try and put into context the why I am writing this expository work on the book of Revelation. My desire is to prepare you for what I believe to be the time for the soon coming of our King and Savior, even our Lord Jesus Christ! A variety of things happened within me when I first saw Him; there was no order as to how they happened, I was able to experience them simultaneously. I remembered seeing His eyes intensely focus on me. The expression on His face was: I AM coming to get you! I was trembling to my very core. There is a Scripture in Isaiah 6:5 that really nails this experience: “So I said: ‘Woe is me, for I am undone!’” I swear I could feel every cell in my body trembling so hard that they became unglued from one another, while at the same time marveling at the fact that I, for the first time in my life was fully aware of how many of them it took to form my physical body. While I was experiencing both, the joy and the fear of His glorious countenance from a still great distance away with a kind of natural telescopic vision, a very intellectual discussion was taking place in my mind as to whether I should try to remember what Jesus looked like and be tempted to make an mental image of Him when I came back, or erase His likeness from my cognitive mind so that I would not have to deal with that aspect of the vision when I came back. So here I was fully aware that what I was experiencing was not the actual rapture but a rehearsal of it, with the ability to retain or release certain parts of the experience. From the time that I first saw Him and had the manifold experiences of which I just shared a couple with you, to the time that He reached the place where I was standing there could not have been more than a couple of seconds. It happened so fast that even though my mind was processing information at a great rate of speed, He was much faster than even my ability to turbo-think. It was like a violent collision, He came from a great distance away with great velocity; without slowing down He crashed into my chest. That was how it felt at first, but then I realized that it was His right hand that had reached and grabbed my chest as He flew by. The closer that He got to me the more that I trembled, that’s when I realized that His holiness was too glorious for my carnality and the cells that form my body were rapidly dying their own individual deaths. I found myself going from zero to the speed of light in less than a microsecond. The speed into which I was suddenly thrust into caused my tongue to flatten like a pancake within my mouth, causing me to feel the empty cavities of missing teeth feeling up. In an instant everything that died became alive. I could feel new teeth growing inside of my mouth, and every cell in my body became reanimated into a perfect man. His touch together with His glorious light brought forth an indescribable new life. While I have been describing the physical aspect of my experience in the catching away, there were other things taking place as well in my spiritual side. The closer that Jesus came to me, the more aware that I became of my spirit man within me. I was able to experience the “real me” for the first time in his full entity. The more of the physical “me” that died, the stronger the spiritual “I” was able to emerge, such dichotomy cannot be properly explained, it has to be experienced. But this one thing I know for certain, in the midst of the torrential flood of emotions that I was experiencing, a vigorous new man rose up from within me, and with a strong masculine voice and with uninhibited zeal, he cried out incessantly with strong conviction: “HALLELUJAH! HE KEPT HIS PROMISE!” Over and over again he repeated this shout with greater exuberance each time he shouted it. The duration of the entire vision, not counting the dreaming part, could not have lasted over a minutes’ time. But in those precious few seconds I experienced more love and more fear, more death and more life, than I could ever experience if I could live hundreds and hundreds of years. I now have a totally different concept of reality, and an ability to understand visions from a very different perspective as you will see as you read my rendering of the visions detailed for us in the book of Revelation by the apostle John. My wife was abruptly awakened when she felt my body shaking uncontrollably as I was lying on the bed. She reached over and grabbed me on the chest to wake me up. My chest and belly areas were so sensitive from experiencing Jesus’ touch, that when she grabbed me, I screamed so loud that it brought me out of the vision. After experiencing that other dimension, coming back to this one was so disappointing, but my experience was so vivid that I could not stop talking about it to my sleepy wife at 4:45 in the morning. I got up and went into my living room to pray, but I could not stand still not even for a second. I phoned my mom and woke her up crying that Jesus was coming soon and that she needed to get ready, and it was before five am. I was so charged from the experience that I repented before God of all the people that I had neglected to witness to. I swore that I would tell everyone I knew about Jesus plus everybody else; I was so on fire with the zeal of God that the only thing that mattered to me at the time was winning souls for Jesus Christ. Whether good or bad that euphoria waned as the day passed. If I didn’t come down I know they would have locked me up. As I taught adult Sunday school that morning, people were staring at me in a weird sort of way, no doubt wondering what kind of happy influence I was under. By the time evening came I got in bed early so that I could feel closer to the experience. As I lay there, my belly and chest areas were so sensitive again that I could not bring myself to close my eyes, fearful that he would touch me again, and just as fearful that He would not. - THE POWER WITHIN | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
THE POWER WITHIN The objective of this teaching is to reveal that true Christianity is not sustained by human strength or religious effort, but by the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within the believer. Pastor Marcos shows that this divine power transforms us from the inside out, enabling us to live in love, walk by faith, and fulfill the law of Christ. The lesson emphasizes the distinction between self-generated religion and Spirit-empowered Christianity, leading believers to depend fully on God’s Spirit for life and ministry. THE POWER WITHIN Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of this teaching is to reveal that true Christianity is not sustained by human strength or religious effort, but by the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within the believer. Synopsis: In The Power Within, Pastor Marcos Marrero draws from Ephesians 3:20 to highlight the supernatural strength available to every born-again believer. Unlike religion, which relies on human effort and adherence to doctrine, Christianity is empowered by God Himself through the indwelling Holy Spirit. Pastor Marcos explains that when we are born again, we are immediately filled with the Spirit in essence form, but this power must grow and manifest through faith and love. He distinguishes between religion’s self-driven works and Christianity’s Spirit-driven life, pointing to Jesus’ command for His disciples to wait for the promised power of the Spirit (Acts 1:4-8). Pastor Marcos clarifies the progression of the Spirit’s work—moving from essence to presence to power—so that believers may be transformed from a nature of hate into one rooted and grounded in love. The lesson further addresses the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the laying on of hands, and the operation of spiritual gifts, reminding us that all gifts must be exercised in love. Pastor Marcos concludes that the believer’s power is not in knowledge alone, but in the Spirit’s active work within, producing love, faith, and the fulfillment of Christ’s law. Inspired Teaching: Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” The difference between religion and Christianity, is that religion fills the head with knowledge, while true Christianity fills the believer’s heart with power from God. Remember how Jesus told His disciples after they had been with Him for over three years of indoctrination into the principles of Christianity, that they needed to go to Jerusalem and wait there to be endued with power from above. Acts 1:4-5, 8 “And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, ‘which,’ He said, ‘you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now...But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…’” In religion, the power that enables the believer to carry out the doctrinal duties that his religion requires of him, is derived from the commitment of such believer to the doctrines that he has been taught. His fervor for what he believes and has been taught, is what drives his motives to attain what is required of him, but he himself provides the power. In Christianity, we have doctrines, and they require fervor, but the power to attain what is required of its believers is provided by God Himself. Now why is that? Ephesians 3:19 “To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Is a matter of love and hate! If the human nature had good in it, then a good doctrine would incite that good nature to do the righteous requirements of the Christian doctrine. But the Bible declares that there is no one, no not one, that does good. So, to entrust a good doctrine upon those who are incapable to live up to its godly requirements would be folly. Romans 3:10 “As it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no, not one.’” Now in religion that is not a problem, if those who practice such religion are in it for self-gain. Whether it is to lord it over others, or to gain profit from its practice, or just simply to make the claim that they are better than others because of the accomplishments that they themselves are able to achieve through their religious convictions. 1 Corinthians 15:19 “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.” True Christianity is rooted in unconditional love, that is why true Christianity cannot be exercised by self-generated power. Those who try to live up to the requirements of Christian doctrine by their own power are destined to fail, for it is an impossibility. The only way to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge is by being filled with all the fullness of God. When we become born again Christians, the Lord provides us with His Spirit, He fills us with Him, so that we can fulfill the law of Christ which is rooted and grounded in His love. Ephesians 3:17 “That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.” So that we can fulfill the requirements of the Christian doctrine. Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” But we have to believe that it is the Spirit of God who empowers us from within to fulfill that which is required of us. Now there are questions as to when we are filled with the power of God’s Spirit, and as to what the difference is, if any, about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I want to shed light on these questions in this lesson. The first thing that we need to be aware of is that during the ministry of Jesus, the believers had not yet received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. For the Holy Spirit could not come until after Jesus left. John 7:38-39 “‘He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water’. But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” Jesus told His disciples that He was going to Jerusalem to die for men’s sins, and then He told them that He would not leave them comfortless, but that they should wait for the Promise of the Father, that is to be filled with the Spirit and with power. Now since Jesus has already been glorified, all those of us who believe in Jesus and become born again, are immediately filled with God’s Holy Spirit and power. 1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.” One cannot be a true Christian unless he/she is born of the One Spirit and made part of the body of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:19 “And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.” It is very clear then, that within all the born-again believers resides the power of God in essence form: according to the power that works in us, but notice how our opening text words it, the power that works in us. Works implies that a progression is taking place, as in a work in progress, as I wrote in my last lesson on the deliverance page, the renewing of the Holy Spirit goes from essence to presence, to power, but it is always according to the power that works in us, because of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit through our born-again experience. What is the working of the Spirit trying to accomplish in us? It is working to transform us from the old nature of hate into the new nature of love. Even though His power will always be present in us who have been born of His Spirit in essence form, His presence in us will not always be evident, much less His power, if we are not fulfilling the law of Christ. Galatians 5:16, 25 “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh...If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Here we see then that it is possible to have the Spirit of God in us, and not be walking according to the Spirit. How do we fail to walk in the Spirit of God? When we fail to walk by faith and to abide in love! That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love. Love is the manifestation of the presence of Jesus in us, and faith enables His power to be manifested in us and through us. That is why we are commanded to be filled with the full manifestation of His Spirit. Ephesians 5:18 “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.” Dissipation means to break up into different parts, if we walk to fulfill the lust of the flesh instead of walking after the Spirit, we separate the essence of the power that works within us, by preventing the love of God from manifesting itself, thereby disqualifying the power of faith. What about the baptism of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands? 1 Timothy 4:14 “Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.” Since all born again believers have the essence of the Spirit within them, all are qualified to receive the anointing power, as long as they continue to walk by the power of faith and in the Spirit of love. We need to recognize also that there are diverse gifts that come with the essence of the Spirit within us, once we become born again, and those gifts are available to those who believe. These gifts are activated by words of prophecy and by the laying on of the hands of the eldership, those who are spiritually mature in Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:1, 31 “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant...But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.” Paul tells us that there are gifts that are available to all believers, he does not want us to be ignorant, or to ignore them, and he wants us to desire the best gifts that are available to us, but then he adds this: And yet I show you a more excellent way. 1 Corinthians 13:1 “...But have not love…” The essence of love is the manifestation of His presence, if we abide in total unconditional love, then everything that we are or have belongs to Him. It does not matter what gift we have as long as is the one that He wants us to have. For by faith we believe that whatever gift He gives us will be the best for us to glorify His holy name. DO YOU WANT TO BE FREE The objective of this teaching is to reveal how unbelief, misplaced trust, and personal choices create barriers that keep believers in bondage. By using Scripture, testimony, and practical illustrations, the message aims to help Christians recognize these obstacles, strengthen their faith, and walk in the freedom that Jesus Christ has already provided. < Back DO YOU WANT TO BE FREE Minister Lisa Kane September 15, 2023 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to reveal how unbelief, misplaced trust, and personal choices create barriers that keep believers in bondage. By using Scripture, testimony, and practical illustrations, the message aims to help Christians recognize these obstacles, strengthen their faith, and walk in the freedom that Jesus Christ has already provided. Synopsis: In this message, Lisa Kane challenges believers with the powerful question: “Do you want to be free?” Drawing from John 12:40 and other Scriptures, she explains how hardened hearts and unbelief prevent many from experiencing healing, peace, and deliverance. Just as rulers in Jesus’ day valued the approval of men over God, many today place more trust in doctors, medication, or worldly systems than in Christ as their ultimate healer. Lisa shares her personal testimony of overcoming depression and later walking away from dependence on multiple medications, illustrating how faith in Jesus—rather than reliance on man’s report—brings true freedom. She shows how unbelief blinds people, while faith, strengthened through God’s Word and testimonies, releases healing and restoration. Through biblical examples of the disciples’ hardened hearts and the miracles Jesus performed, Lisa emphasizes that unbelief limits God’s work, but faith unlocks His power. The message concludes by urging believers to make a choice: let go of fear, doubt, and self-imposed chains, and fully trust Jesus as Lord over their health, mind, and life. True freedom comes when we believe His Word, speak it with authority, and walk in the victory already secured through the cross. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane. I'm recording this on Friday, September 15, 2023. Welcome. This message is called, "Do you want to be free?" It's a very good question to ask because did you know that you're putting your own obstacles in front of your freedom? Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We know that your word does not return void. We know that your word is true. We know that we can believe and have faith in you, Father God. So, I do pray and ask that you help us with our unbelief. Raise our faith. Raise our belief and let us hear your testimony and know that you are true and that you are real. And that yes, we can live in freedom from bondage from sickness, from disease, from any chains that are holding us back in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture here. We're going to be at John 12 and 40. He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, lest they should see with their eyes, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn so that I should heal them. Jesus is talking, but he's also quoting the scripture from Isaiah. So, he's already said this through Isaiah well before his crucifixion at the cross. So the question is do you want to be free? There are things that we put in place of Jesus will believe a doctor's report over what Jesus says. Now in this message I'm going to share my testimony. Uh I have a couple areas of testimony I want to share with you. So I'm going to have less scriptures than I ordinarily do when I teach. But I think the power of the testimony is going to help you with your faith. And then at the same time, I'm going to show you scripture of why how Jesus was able to heal and then how he wasn't able to heal and the things that we put in place. So I want to see the scripture one more time. Look at this. He blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts un lest they should see with their eyes. So in other words, if you see, look at that. And if you understand with your heart and you turn, get away from what you're keeping yourself in bondage from so that I should heal them. You can be healed. You see, your unbelief is what's keeping you from being healed. Let's go look at things that we put above Jesus that keeps us from our healing. Let's start here in John 12:42 and 43. Nevertheless, even among the rulers. So he's talking about all these things that he did that were miracles and he says nevertheless. So these guys saw the miracles. Nevertheless, even among the rulers, many believed in him, but because of the Pharisees, they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue, for they love the praise of men more than the praise of God. They didn't want to be kicked out of the synagogue. So instead of believing in him for one, their salvation, for eternal life, but two, for the deliverance and the healing from whatever is keeping them bonded, they chose the synagogue to believe. We can put this in another application. Do you choose the doctor? Do you believe what the doctor tells you? Or do you believe that Jesus is your doctor and your healer? You know, Isaiah tells us that it was by his stripes we are healed. Peter tells us that it was by his stripes we were healed. Fact that it's quoted a second time is very powerful. His stripes is what healed us. You can be healed. And bondage um let's talk a little bit about bondage chains. When you're in bondage, there's several things that are going on. You are struggling believing. You're struggling being well because you're always sick. You're struggling with things that are going on in your life. I It's drama after drama after drama and you can't figure out why. You have no peace and no joy. Those are telltale signs that you are in bondage. And you're in bondage because of you. You did it. You thrive on that drama. So what happens is you put yourself in a situation where you make it so that drama happens more. I know of a couple who is struggling right now and um so working on helping prevent divorce. The other is now going to try to film the other. You see they're promoting their drama. They're getting sympathy for their drama. And because they're getting that sympathy, they don't want that drama to go away. And then of course, if the doctor's telling you you have cancer, you know, there's things going on in the back of your mind. The reason you went in to be tested, you knew something was up. So here you are is you already are thinking in your mind, I knew it. That's why the report says what it says. Don't you know that Jesus is a healer? He's your healer. The bonds and then the the decisions that you make, you know, if you were to remove that item from your life, would you get sympathy and love from anyone else in the world? You see, there's a big problem. We love the interaction with our psychiatrist. It's our friend. We want to be there. Instead of having the same interaction only better with Jesus, you pick and you choose and you put yourself in bondage. So when you do something like that, what is it that you need to do to get out of that? Because it's now your problem. You did it. You got to get yourself out. Now Jesus is there to help you, but he's already given you all the tools in the word of God. And I'm going to show you even the disciples struggled with this. Well, let's let's go here to Mark 6:52. For they had not understood about the loaves because their heart was hardened. Just did a teaching on this. This is where he taught the five or fed the 5,000 um five loaves and two fish I believe it was. And as they had 12 baskets left over of food, bread and fish, and the disciples hearts were hardened. They didn't pause. They didn't think about it. They didn't let it impact their heart. So, they didn't believe, but they were witnesses to it. So, Jesus is identifying the hardness of their heart. Let's continue on. Now, further along, we're in Mark 8. Look at verses 17- 21. But Jesus being aware of it said to them, "Why do you reason because you have no bread?" So here they're going into um an area that they're going to teach and the disciples forgot to bring bread. They've already fed 5,000. Look what he says here. Why do you reason because you have no bread? You see Jesus asked a question here about the leaven and the Pharisees. You can go read this all in context. Homework for you is what I give you. And because their heart, their mind went to, oh, he found out we forgot the bread. And so he he knows, he says, look, why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Is your heart still hardened? You see, he's telling you, you are just witnesses to some pretty good miracles, and your heart is still hardened. Does Does miracles really work? Do you know how many people will reject a video that they see? Let's say even in the back of my mind, I saw a video of a woman's arm being restored. It was um she was born with it twisted and and but you can just see it untwisted, but sometimes I wonder is that fake? But I I always go back to no, that was real. And I believe and the reason I see that is because of the the other context behind the video. So, I believe, but there are many who won't. They'll say that's a hoax. This one wasn't a hoax. Let's continue on. Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? You see, he's now pointing it back to the disciples. This is your problem. You're the one who is purposely forgetting. You're the one who is purposely hardening your heart. Now, continue on with the scripture. We're in verse 19. When I broke the five loaves for the 5,000, how many baskets full of fragments did you take of it? And they said to him, 12. And then also, when I broke the seven for the 4,000, "How many large baskets full of fragments did you take him?" And they said, "Seven." And he said to them, So he said to them, "How is it you do not understand?" You see, you should understand that's a miracle. Jesus blessed bread and he kept giving it out. Imagine if you bless your body with good health. It keeps getting blessed and it keeps getting multiplied. Do you not see the healing? All it takes is you blessing yourself and remembering. Imagine saying Jesus is the son of God. And he is Lord over cancer. He is Lord over this body. He is Lord over my mind. He is Lord over my heart. This is the power of the word of God. And you need to remember it because as you forget, your hearts become hardened. And what happens when you're forgetting? What's causing you to forget? Your eyes are on the world. Your eyes are not on the scripture. Your eyes are not remembering. This is why I want to share my testimony. one, I want to remember what the Lord has done in my life. At the same time though, I want you to hear the testimony and I want you to believe because you were already healed. You're already free. You're free. You just don't know it yet, but you already are. And your words can make you free. Look at Matthew 13:57 and 58. So they were offended at him. These are the Pharisees, the Sadducees, and these are the people in his own hometown. He grew up with these people. This is Jesus in his own town. Look what he says. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house. Now he did not do many works there because of their unbelief." So your unbelief prevents God from healing you. You see, you choose to believe the doctor. You don't choose to believe Jesus. And because of that decision, you are now in unbelief. Did you hear that? I want you to remember this. You're now in unbelief. Well, how do I get out of that unbelief? You You've got to now make a new decision. You need to undo the decision you made. You have to forget. See, he's you already know how to forget. Forget what the doctor told you. If you can forget Jesus and his testimonies and his power of his word, you can certainly forget the doctor. You believe it so much you don't want to forget. You believe it so much that you hold on to it dear for dear life. So when people at church pray over you, you're like, "Oh, I just can't. I know it ain't going to work. Why am I here? This is embarrassing. Do you see what you're doing to your own life? And then you wonder why you're in the situation. Look to yourself. Look to your unbelief. This is very, very powerful. I want to show you something else here. Mark 16:14. Later he appeared to the 11. This is after he rose from the dead. Okay? He is risen from the dead. Watch what he says to his disciples later. He appeared to the 11 as he sat at the table and he rebuked he rebuked his own disciples. Jesus is rebuking you right now for your lack of unbelief or your lack of belief as unbelief. And he rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had risen. The people are telling he's risen. He's risen. No, I don't believe it. I saw him die. And and that is their physical proof that they're believing. They're now believing their own eyes, their own witness. I saw him die. They didn't remember what he said to them. They were in unbelief. You know what that is? In order for you to remember what Jesus says, you have to spend time in the Bible over and over again until it impacts here and here. That's the only way you're going to remember what he says. This is part of the relationship factor that you need to have. This is also the part that leads you to freedom. You do not need to be in bondage. You see, he's going to teach you in that relationship how to use your words to prevent you from getting into the situation and then to undo what you've already done. You did this. Now, I want to show you um another event that Jesus dealt with. Uh we're going to do this from Matthew 14:34 and 36. I want you to see how this goes. When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Guanesseret. And when the men of that place recognized him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to him all who were sick, and begged him that they might only touch the hem of his garden garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well. Now, we just saw where they didn't believe and he couldn't do any miracles because they didn't believe. Now he's in a region that says they believed and they were bringing the sick left to him, left and right to him. You had the woman with the issue of blood. If only I could touch the hem of his garment. You saw that referring to her there. You you have the situation where two men brought their paralyzed friend and had to climb the roof and open the roof and bring him down in front of Jesus for Jesus to heal him. And you know what? in the woman with the issue of the blood and this paralyzed man. Jesus didn't heal them. He said your ma your faith made them healed. Well, they were whole because of their faith. They believed because they were hearing testimonies and to them all they had to do was get them to Jesus and all Jesus did was acknowledge your faith healed them. In other words, you got to get to Jesus. Find your way into the word of God. Read and believe. And I mean believe it from cover to cover. And don't believe it as stories. Believe it as events. As of the living word of God that these are true events. This is history written and that you can speak it and have it over your life. Now why did this group of people believe? There was testimony going around. Look Mark 5:16-17 and Luke 8 and37. And those who saw it told him how it happened to him who had been demonpossessed and about the swine. Then they began to plead with him to depart from the region. Do you see it? Go read the event of Jesus casting out a demon called Legion. And that he told the legion they can go into these pigs. And the pigs ran off the cliff and were killed. Those people that saw that said, "You need to leave." Look it. They began to plead with him to depart from their region. They saw this powerful miracle. They see this miracle. They see power. They see authority. And they say, "Get away. I don't want to have anything to do with you." Look also in Luke 8:37. Then the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the gatherines asked him to depart from them for they were seized with great fear and he got into the boat and returned. Now he's going to return to the other side. He had crossed this uh lake went from one side to the other. He cast out this demon. They didn't believe. They said get go away. So he goes back to the other side. In the meantime that demonpossessed man asked you and this is Homer. I want to give this to you because I want to share my testimony and give the time for the testimony. He this demonpossessed man who's now free. He's no longer in bondage. He asked Jesus, "Can I go with you?" Jesus said, "Stay here. I need you to tell I want you to show yourself to the people and I want you to tell them what happened to you." And so he stayed. And so when, watch this, Luke 8:38-4. Now the man from whom the demons had departed begged him that he might be with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, "Return to your own house and tell what great things God has done for you." And he went his way and proclaimed the throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. So it was when Jesus returned that the multitude welcomed him for they were all await. They were all waiting for him. Now they sent him out. They were afraid. Now they're welcoming him because they're finally realizing this man is truly healed. And if he was healed, I can be healed. Now, when Jesus was quoting Isaiah earlier, look at what else is in that same chapter or earlier in Isaiah, excuse me, Isaiah 610. Make the heart of this people dull and their ears heavy and shut their eyes. Look at this. Lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and return and be healed. You can be healed if your eyes you can see with your eyes. You can hear with your ears. You understand in your heart and return. Return to who? Return to Jesus. Now Isaiah is talking to the nation of Israel. He's telling them to return to God. Same thing. Jesus is saying return to me and I can heal you. You have to deal with your unbelief. So let's talk about belief and decisions. And and I'm going to go into my testimony. Let me go to my earliest testimony. So over 30 years ago, I was dealing with depression. Didn't even know it. All I know is for about three weeks there, I was an ugly person. very ugly. And I went to the Lord and you know I always had a relationship with the Lord. I became a believer when I was six years old. I was water baptized when I was nine. And um I'm a I was married at this point when I was doing this. So early on in my marriage, too. But anyways, I remember um praying to God. I always have time with the Lord, always share time with him. And um I asked, "What's going on with me?" And I clearly I hear and understand from him whether it's a voice in my head or what I don't know all I know is I hear and say depression and my first reaction was oh no no no no that's not who I am you see as a believer in Christ I already knew who I am and it was not a depressed individual I may not have been living in joy. Yes, I was a mother at the time. Yes, I was married. But I knew I'm not a depressed individual. So, I decided to go deal with it. I went up to my bedroom, told my husband, "Leave me alone for a little while. I got to deal with this." Shut the door, and uh I went before the Lord, prayed, and then I said out loud straight up, "Demon, depression, you're not welcome here in the name of Jesus." And then I said it again. And then I said it again because I wasn't seeing anything happening. And I was like, "Nope, nope. We're not done." And in the spirit, basically what I did was I grabbed that demon by the front of his shirt and I beat the living whatever out of him because I kept saying it over and over again. And I refused to let him stay there. This was my faith that I was building up with Jesus. And you know, I went to bed that night laying there because I still hadn't seen anything. I just knew it wasn't going to happen. I already knew, nope, not going to have this problem. And I'm laying there and I went to sleep, still thinking it in my mind. Fell asleep thinking it in my mind, saying it in my mind. Get out of here, de. You're not welcome here. That's it. That's it. When I woke up that next morning, I'm going tell you right now, you want to feel freedom, you need to do that. Do that over depression. Do that over any um suicidal thoughts you're facing, just keep saying that over and over again. Go to bed that way in the name of Jesus. Make sure you use the name of Jesus. I woke up feeling fantastic. There was no more darkness. There was no more depression in me. And in fact, my physical body felt like I had been in a boxing match. Remember I told you I grabbed it by the shirt? I bet every punch I hit him with, he hit one back at me. But you know what? I've never dealt with it again. It tries to creep up every once in a while and I I look at it like, I already kicked your butt. Get out of here. That is a testimony. And by the way, for anyone who has seen me later in life, didn't know me then, and you see me now, you know that I walk in joy. that I have a smile on my face often when I don't I may be dealing with something and I just go to the Lord and that is my testimony there. Now I've also have been teaching and saying that sin has consequences for diseases and that you need to cast them out but it has to do with unbelief and it has to do with the words that you say. So here comes the next part of my testimony and this just happened this year. This is why I'm teaching this. So remember the question of this message is do you want to be free? So I had surgery like 10 year uh in 2010 I had uh four discs fused in my neck. Technically I shouldn't be able to do any of that. Uh I remember seeing a particular doctor for some dizziness at one time and they make you move your head get the crystals back where they belong and what have you. And he's like wow you you have a lot of movement. You can move. I go yeah well I follow the instructions. instructions told me to stretch and and I believed the doctors, okay? I believed I trusted in the doctors. I've been going to the doctor since I was young. So, you know, but as time went on, uh I was told, you know, I had heart palpitations. They put me on a heart monitor. I had heart issues when my daughter was born. So, I always knew in my mind I was going to be dealing with the heart. I'm g tell you those words affect you. So I had these palpitations and uh they monitor gave me medication for it because there was proof. Remember what I said. Do you believe the doctors? Do you believe what you think you know is true? Here I was in that mentality and uh you know they get you in with that. I had a lot of bladder infections back then too and I had to deal with all of that. Always getting antibiotics, always going in, always asking questions. Why? Why? Why? Why? And then of course as they do your physical, well, we need to do your physical. Oh, your cholesterol is high. Oh, your sugar is high. Next thing I know, I'm on cholesterol medication and I was on um diabetes medication. And then, you know, I was having the hot flashes and menopause and what have you. Now I was on hormonal medication. That was me up to uh about March of this year, end of February, early March of this year. And uh I decided I didn't want to deal with that anymore. And and I knew I can overcome because you know what? After I had that next surgery, I probably was on that tramodol stuff for like six, seven years, painkiller. And I finally decided to stop taking that and I did fine, successful, you know, was a little tough there for a few days, but then get past it and move on. And I remember you know thinking all right I have overcome so many things why and it dawned on me you know why am I taking all these medications and I decided no nope nope here comes that attitude do what attitude do you have well the doctor said I'm gonna tell you right now I wouldn't trust and believe in the doctor for everything granted there are times that doctors are need you cut off your arm or something you need a doctor. Okay, cut off a toe. You need a doctor. But for other things, there's things that they don't know. And even, you know, when I say cut off an arm or a a toe, remember Peter, the ear of the servant, he cut off in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus picked up the ear and put it back on. He was healed. So don't let me limit you in what you can believe. Okay? Don't let yourself limit you on what you can believe either. gotta think God like if he can create this world. He's your doctor. So I decided, you know, if I can cast out depression, I can definitely cast out diabetes and cholesterol. And I tried. Spent the whole evening. Went to bed thinking that same thing. Woke up next morning, nothing happened. I was like, "What's going on, Lord?" So in February of this year, got out here. Uh, I went to um Missouri. We were looking for a place to live. We ended up moving out here and um we went to a church called James River Church. I went and got prayed over by one of the elders or prayer workers there. And you know, it's interesting what he tells me. He told me to do the exact same thing I had already done with depression. Go in, cast it out. Of course, he's telling me monitor your meter and watch it and watch the numbers come down. So, I go home. We get back to Southern California and I'm watching this meter. I did the same thing. Went cast it out. Watch the meter for the week and nothing happened. And I'm sitting there like, "All right, Lord. I don't know what's going on here, but something's up." And so I started praying and I was curious. I'm like, "Lord, you said I was already healed. I should be healed. This should have worked. I've been in prayer. I declared the name of Jesus. These are things I've been teaching and preaching, by the way, for many years. I should be able to apply his word to my life and live it free. I should not be in bondage to medications I have to take to make my body operate on earth that he made my body for. I shouldn't have allergies. I shouldn't have anything. I shouldn't even get a headache to to be honest. I should not. And I remember, you know, I started seeing videos come across my um social media feed, videos about the hoax of cholesterol. Found out in researching that the brain is coated in a layer of cholesterol. And the biggest side effect for cholesterol reducing medications was Alzheimer's. Now, I had seen my mother-in-law pass away from Alzheimer's and I was like, "Wait, what?" And by the way, I had been taking I finally uh for like two months there I took it every other day. I was getting lightheaded and I knew it was cholesterol medication because my diet was see I was already being healed and I didn't even realize what was going on and I was getting lightheaded and I remember the physician's assistant that I met with over diabetes, they go over all your other medications with you faithfully, too. Oh, why didn't you get your cholesterol filled? I go, well, I'm only taking one every other day now instead of one every day. Oh, you can't do that. Go make me lightheaded and oh, but we have to run tests to see. Um, anyways, I said, I I'll make an appointment with the doctor and got off the phone with her. And so I remember learning about that and uh you know realizing on that cholesterol things like uh I remember Barbara O'Neal talking about it coming from down from oh it used to be you can have a cholesterol number 300 then it was 200 then it was 196 and I was like are they picking numbers out of the hat or did they run some tests here and that was the thing is they could not provide the test that showed that it had anything to do with you know heart disease. And then um for the diabetes, the Lord was reminding me of some things. I was thinking of the conversation I had with my doctor previously. He was talking about people who are 80 years old and older and that their A1C can be 8.0, not a not below seven. He says the reason for that is because they get too laded and they can fall, break their hip. they're at a greater risk of that than heart disease. And I'm sitting there going, "Wait a second." And I pause. My my thought process all of a sudden went, "Wait a minute. They're 80 years old and older. They made an adjustment for them. Why didn't they make an adjustment between men and women? We're different sexes. We should have different levels. We're built different. We have different hormones. H why does it everybody has to be 7.0? And that's when I started realizing well 7.0 and lower for A1C. That's when I started realizing every time I hit that 6.9 they changed medication where I was back over seven because I got it down pat. I mean I was good with that medication. I was getting up faithfully every morning at 5 5:30 and my blood sugar was always around 80 79 to 81 always I I was hitting my targets believe you and me I was doing very well I had this down pat and even when they change your medication would take me about six months or so I'd get it back down but I'm realizing all of this and then there I was either driving to church or driving home and this is when the Lord I was praying And I was like, Lord, I'm not understanding what's going on here. And I said, why can't you make this meter match what the doctor's saying? And the epiphany was, I'm your god. I'm your doctor. Do you really think they know what your sugar levels should be? Do you really trust that they know what numbers your body is supposed to be? And I had this vision of like taking a Rolls-Royce to a Toyota Camry or Toyota company to fix a Rolls-Royce when in reality I should be taking back the car to its original maker company for service and repairs. And all of a sudden, I'm thinking, I didn't I'm not taking my body to Jesus. And then with all the epiphies I was having, it dawned on me. I didn't have diabetes to cast out in the first place. They were diagnosing me this just to put me on medication so they can make money and I have to live on this stuff. Do you know that was the only time I ever had any lows was when I was on medication. not with my natural body the way the Lord made it. So, in a leap of faith, and yes, it takes faith. And by the way, this was the hardest thing to do for me because I had done this before. And I failed at it. I'll just put it that way. But I put all those medication. I got rid of all the medications. I didn't refill any of them. Put them all down. Got rid of them all. I said, "No more, Lord. I'm not taking any of this. My body is in your hands." And do you know those doctors and those uh physicians assist assistants and thearmacies very faithful you don't fill your prescription they call you. We didn't move for another three months. And I remember uh not one single person reached out to me why I wasn't getting my medication. Because the demons, the familiar spirits around us, the ones that knew me, already knew I let go and my faith healed me. I was completely healed. I had no heart palpitations. Do you know there was a sign I have when I would wake up in the mornings and I'd have 80 as my uh sugar and uh my right ear would always drain. I I don't know why it would do that. When it got low, when my blood sugar get low, I knew right away because the right ear was draining. Well, after I put all that down, guess what? My right ear was still draining. And I said, "Ah, Lord, my body is fine. My body was never broken to begin with because I believed a lie. I believed what the doctor said. And the doctor has no idea what he or she is been trained to put you on. They think they're doing you a good job to save you from heart attacks and what have you. You know, if you're having heart issues, take a little bit of water, put like a eighth of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in there, and just chug it. I promise you, you will not have any heart issues anymore after that. It It works with your blood flow. It clears your cholesterol. It clears it all. And I've done that. And you only have to do that, especially if you're coming from where it's been bad and you weren't doing that. Take a few days. Do it once a day and you're ready to go. Anytime you start to feel like a little sharp pain in your heart, fix them some, and you're perfectly fine. Your body, the herbs that the Lord has provided from the earth is here to heal you. So, what do you believe? Do you want to be free? You know, are you believing what the doctors are telling you? I promise you, I went through this and I am a walking testimony to tell you that I'm free. I'm not in chains, bound to this earth and the way it lives. I'm already living my eternity with the Lord. I just haven't got there yet out of my flesh. But one day I will. This flesh will die. It it dies. You know, all of the raising from the dead that Jesus did, all those people, they died again. Lazarus had to die again. The bones that were laid on Elisha, he was raised from the dead, he he died again. The 12-year-old girl in this uh scene here in this uh event period of time that I talked about with the Legion, she was one of the ones that was healed here. trying to think it was Jaire's daughter and she was healed. Um she was dead. God raised her from the dead. She had to die again eventually. We all are appointed to die. So the only way you're not going to age to die is when you eliminate sin out of your life. And you're thinking, I can't do that. Actually, you can. Do you know that I spend time with the Lord every and every time you spend time with him? You're not sinning. So, do you want to spend time in the world or do you want to spend time in the word of God? Again, this is your choice. You're the one who's putting yourself in your situation. I promise you that even if you take out all the drama, you take out all the medical stuff, you will have an awesome relationship with the one you can trust, who will never stab you in the back. That is Jesus Christ, our Messiah. He is the one who is faithful and true. He is the one who has healed us. You need to choose. If you really want freedom, you got to unlearn what you've learned. You got to let it go. Speak the name of Jesus over your heart. I And that's what I had been doing, by the way, all that time when I was praying. I said, "Lord, you are Lord Jesus over cholesterol. You are Lord Jesus over the heart. You are Lord Jesus over diabetes." And I k Previous Next Home
