  • PRAY FOR ME - SELF | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

Say this prayer out loud: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up myself to Your throne room and I forgive me of my iniquities, the sins I have committed, the curses against me, the curses spoken from me, and the sins of the land I walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive me well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose me in the Name of Jesus the Son of the living God, the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in me or my life ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.” And Heavenly Father, I bless me with a softened heart to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless me with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in me to forgive and reconcile my life back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray for me to be restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” manifests within my heart. I pray that the gifts of the holy spirit stated in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12 KJV “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” would unite the body of Christ under one leadership, the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God move through me so that I know what to pray, how to pray, when to pray, and praise the living God in all that we do. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. I now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God, Amen!PRAY FOR ME - SELF PRAY FOR ME - SELF PRAY FOR ME - SELF Say this prayer out loud: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up myself to Your throne room and I forgive me of my iniquities, the sins I have committed, the curses against me, the curses spoken from me, and the sins of the land I walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive me well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose me in the Name of Jesus the Son of the living God, the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in me or my life ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. • THE VERACITY OF GOD’S WORD | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

THE VERACITY OF GOD’S WORD The objective of this lesson is to strengthen the believer’s faith in the unchanging truth of God’s Word by exposing Satan’s tactics of compromise, distortion, and counterfeit power. It aims to equip Christians with the discernment to stand firm against deception, reminding them that Scripture is divinely inspired, living, and relational—not merely a religious text. Ultimately, the goal is to inspire unwavering trust in God’s Word for both eternal salvation and daily living. THE VERACITY OF GOD’S WORD Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of this lesson is to strengthen the believer’s faith in the unchanging truth of God’s Word by exposing Satan’s tactics of compromise, distortion, and counterfeit power. It aims to equip Christians with the discernment to stand firm against deception, reminding them that Scripture is divinely inspired, living, and relational—not merely a religious text. Ultimately, the goal is to inspire unwavering trust in God’s Word for both eternal salvation and daily living. Synopsis: In The Veracity of God’s Word, Pastor Marcos examines the temptations of Jesus in the wilderness to reveal how Satan continually challenges the truth and authority of Scripture. When the devil urged Jesus to turn stones into bread, the deeper attack was an attempt to reduce God’s immutable Word into something temporary and malleable. Jesus’ response, “It is written,” establishes the believer’s foundation: the Bible is God-breathed, not man-made, and therefore trustworthy. The second temptation demonstrates how Satan twists God’s Word into presumption and mechanical ritual rather than relationship. Jesus countered this perversion with truth, teaching that faith is relational and rooted in trust, not reckless testing of God. The third temptation reveals the enemy’s offer of worldly power as a substitute for obedience to God’s plan, appealing to compromise and self-glorification. Jesus rejected this shortcut, affirming that worship and service belong to God alone. Pastor Marcos emphasizes that these three strategies—compromise, ritualism, and counterfeit power—are still used today to weaken believers’ confidence in God’s Word. The lesson closes by urging Christians to cling to the Scriptures as a spiritual filter against deception, knowing that through them we partake of God’s promises and divine nature. Inspired Teaching: Matthew 4:3-4 “Now when the tempter came to Him, he said: ‘If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.’ But He answered and said, ‘It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”’” During the time of the temptation of Jesus after He had fasted for forty days and forty nights, the enemy came to test the trustworthiness of God’s immutable Word. I want to share with you the insight of what was taking place during this encounter between The Word and the accuser. This is an extremely important lesson. Our understanding of what was taking place behind the scenes if you will, will greatly help us to overcome the accuser when he comes knocking on our door to challenge what we believe. I have seen the faith of some young believers wrecked by their failure to understand the gimmicks that Satan employs when challenging the veracity of the Word of God. My hope is that by exposing some of the enemy’s tactics, that it might prepare you to take a firm stand against the devil’s perversion of the Word of God when you are confronted by them. Luke 20: 17-18 “Then He looked at them and said, ‘What then is this that it is written: “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone”’? Whoever falls on that stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.” When the devil challenged Jesus to turn the stones into bread, at first appearance, in the natural scheme of things, it appears as if the enemy is tempting the flesh that was hungry after a long fast, but spiritually speaking there was a lot more going on here than we see at first glance. As we can see from our Scripture in Luke, the stone is representative of the Word of God and it’s power to break those who fall on it, and grind into powder those upon whom it falls. So that in essence the spirit behind Satan’s challenge was “to turn the stone” (The immutable Word of God) into something soft and common like bread that you eat today and is gone tomorrow, it wreaks of compromise. In other words, the enemy was saying, if you are the Son of God you can do whatever you want to with the Word (implying that He could change it). Hence the answer that Jesus responded with, “it is written”. Which brings me to the first application of this lesson in regards to the challenges that we face today when it comes to our faith and trust in the Word of God. How do we know that the Bible is the true Word of God? It is written! I hear people tell me that the Bible was written by men, and that other men decided which of the many books that were written were made part of the Bible, as if God was somehow limited by the powers of men. 2 Peter 1:20-21 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation (It was never left to men as to what to write or what to include and reject), for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke (men spoke from God) as they were moved (into action) by the Holy Spirit.” Satan wants us to believe that men, fallen creatures as we are, are incapable of producing truth, and that is true if men are left to their own devices. But the Bible does not credit men with producing truth, all the credit goes to the Holy Spirit of God. And just as God chose the womb of one of the many virgins of Israel to give birth to the Word in Carne, God chose and moved in the spiritual womb of men and women of God to bring forth the Written Word as well. 1 Peter 2:4-5 “Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” The one thing that unbelievers can never comprehend is how the Word becomes alive (a living stone) inside the ones who believe in Jesus as their savior, since they haven’t experienced the transformation that a born-again believer experiences when he/she becomes a living stone. We become like living stones when we partake in simple faith the truth of the Gospel. What is hard for me to understand is how believers that have tasted of the sweetness of the Living Rock that gushes forth to satisfy their taste for righteousness, can overtime allow the bitter waters of the enemy’s poison to weaken their trust in the truth that they have tasted in their born again experience. Galatians 1:6-7 “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Gospel of Christ.” Which brings as to the second temptation that Jesus had to endure on our behalf. Matthew 4:5-6 “Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, ‘If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: “He shall give His angels charge over You,” and, “In their hands they shall bear You up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.”’” In the natural the temptation is for Jesus to be presumptuous, but if you look a little deeper the truth of this temptation is the perversion of God’s Word. Once a believer has experienced the truth of God’s Word, the enemy’s aim is to pervert its application by treating the Word as mechanical in nature instead of a living relational part of our everyday lives. Yes, there may be a time when God tells you to trust Him to the point of doing something so foolish that it defies human logic. But to the person that is in a personal relationship with the Living Word there will be no doubt in their hearts. Jesus simply responded to this temptation by saying: “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt (test) the Lord your God.’” Matthew 4:7 One does not have to test true relational friendship, because by definition, it has already been tested when the weaker one chose to put all their trust in the power of the stronger one. So that when a believer puts his/her trust solely in the Word for their eternal salvation, how much more can they trust the Word for the less important matters of everyday life. Galatians 3:1 “O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?” So that once we know the greater truth that Jesus was crucified for our sins, the goal of the enemy is to separate us from daily trusting in Him as we continuously work out our relationship with that same truth. Basically, what I am saying is that if we are willing to trust His Word for our eternal salvation, then how much more can we trust in His Word for our everyday life. Matthew 4:8-9 “Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, ‘All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.’” When Adam was first created, he was given dominion over all the kingdoms of the world that were to come in all their glory. When Adam failed to trust the Word of God that said that he was good even though he was naked, Adam forfeited his dominion to the devil who caused him to know that he was naked. In other words, he believed the lies of the devil over the truth of God’s Word and that kept him from partaking of the tree of life. When the devil tempted Jesus who is God the Word the third time, his aim was to have Jesus the Word declare him, the devil, good, in exchange for Jesus not having to bear the sins of Adam and of his descendants through the cruel death of the cross in order to regain the dominion that Adam had lost when he failed to trust in the Word of God. So basically, what the devil said to Jesus was, I’ll give you the dominion that Adam lost to me in exchange for you declaring me good even though I am perverted, you have power to declare me clean so that You do not have to die on the cross. Matthew 4:10 “Then Jesus said to him, ‘Away with you, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.”’” So that in the temptations that Jesus suffered we can clearly see the progression of the devil’s machinations, and they all involve different levels of perversion to the Word of Truth. First the devil wants the Stone Truths or the foundational principles of the Word of God to be turn into the soft bread of compromise, so that the Word that the believers profess won’t crush his head. Secondly he wants us to have religion instead of relationship with the Word of God. In religion or ritualistic confines the devil is able to turn the Word that frees us into cold frigid rules that suffocate the very life that the Word was meant to give us. Thirdly, the devil offers an easy way out to the uncompromising believer that will not deviate from God’s foundational principles and walks in the freedom of the spirit filled life, by trying to make the road that the believer has to walk harder than it is, so that he can tempt him to receive perverted power that does not come from God. Unfortunately some who originally ministered in the Word of Truth have given up the difficulties of the narrow road of hardships for the temporary glory of the third temptation, the glorification of self. Jesus did not mess around when faced with that third temptation, immediately He uttered the words: “Away with you, Satan!” All humans are influenced by spirits that want to sway us into doing good or bad. There is always something or someone in the spiritual realm that wants us to do their bidding. The only protection that we have against those bad and unprofitable influences is the Truth of the Word of God. The Word of God is the filter that protects our spirit and soul from contamination. The greater our knowledge of the Word of Truth the finer the mesh becomes in the filter. Do not let the spirit of the world that continuously belittles the Word of God rob you of the many benefits that Jesus has provided for us in his many great and precious promises. 2 Peter 1:3-4 “As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him (the Word made flesh) who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises (in God’s Word), that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption (perversion) that is in the world through lust.” Previous Next Home

  • THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH To emphasize the centrality of faith in the life of the believer, especially in the last days when truth is being suppressed and deception abounds. This teaching seeks to show that only by living by faith in Jesus Christ can we overcome the culture of lies, receive God’s righteousness, and stand firm in the face of coming judgment. THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH Pastor Marcos Marrero February 17, 2019 Objective: To emphasize the centrality of faith in the life of the believer, especially in the last days when truth is being suppressed and deception abounds. This teaching seeks to show that only by living by faith in Jesus Christ can we overcome the culture of lies, receive God’s righteousness, and stand firm in the face of coming judgment. Synopsis: In The Just Shall Live by Faith, Pastor Marcos Marrero draws from Romans 1:17, reinforced by Habakkuk 2:4, Galatians 3:11, and Hebrews 10:38, to reveal the eternal principle that God’s people must live by faith. He explains that Paul’s use of this verse underscores its relevance to the proclamation of the Gospel, the end times, and the return of the Lord. Pastor Marcos contrasts the truth of the Gospel with the prevailing culture of deception, where lies are not only tolerated but celebrated. He notes how politicians, media, and society at large often “love and practice a lie,” a direct opposition to the truth of Christ. This environment makes the Gospel uncomfortable for many because it demands accountability, confession of sin, and trust in Jesus’ shed blood for forgiveness. Through passages such as Habakkuk 2:2-4 and Romans 1:25, Marrero identifies secular humanism and pride as the forces driving humanity to reject truth. Yet, he also stresses that where sin abounds, grace abounds even more, giving the Church an opportunity to boldly proclaim salvation in Christ. He reminds believers that God’s wrath is against unrighteousness, but His mercy is extended to all who, by faith, repent and receive His pardon. Sharing his own testimony of salvation, Pastor Marcos urges readers to embrace the born-again experience by reasoning with God and sincerely asking for His way of salvation. He emphasizes that God delights not in judgment but in redemption, and that no sin is beyond His forgiveness. Ultimately, the message is clear: in an age where lies dominate and truth is ridiculed, the believer’s strength, stability, and hope is found only in faith. As Scripture declares, “The just shall live by faith.” Inspired Teaching: Romans 1:17 “For in it the righteousness from God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’” The just shall live by faith: This phrase that Paul quotes is from Habakkuk 2:4 and Paul also quotes this same verse of Scripture two other times, in Galatians 3:11 and in Hebrews 10:38, I believe that Paul wrote the letter to the Hebrews. It is a very important Scripture for our present day, because the context always has to do with the proclaiming of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the end of time, and the return of the Lord. Romans 1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, (those) who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” One of the signs that the end of days is near, is the total disregard for the truth that not only politicians and those who serve the public in government and news gathering are exhibiting right now, but the willingness of the population at large to believe the obvious lie. There was a time when those who were exposed for lying to the public while serving in public office, had their careers ended for the shame that such actions brought upon them and the mistrust that would follow. Now it is considered an art form to twist the words around that articulate a bold lie in such a way that to question their sincerity makes you look like the bad guy. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the truth, that is why in the verse preceding our opening text Paul boldly proclaims that he is not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God to salvation. Here is the reason why in today’s environment the Gospel of Jesus makes so many people uncomfortable. Revelation 22:15 “But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” Wow, whoever loves and practices a lie will not enter into heaven. The art of subtle deception is a big industry and a lot of big bucks are made by its practitioners today. It is no wonder they try so hard to keep the Gospel from going forward, they cannot handle the truth, so they resort to ridicule the faithful and heap verbal and sometimes physical abuse upon those of us who walk by faith and not by sight. The number one rule in the liars handbook is this: Misdirection, when caught lying, accuse your opponents of doing it first, that way they avoid responsibility for their own actions, but Paul clearly states that the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against such people. What is it that puts at odds and brings to the forefront the preaching of the Gospel and the perpetration of the big lie during these last days? The foundation of the Gospel is that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. We must believe that we are sinners worthy of death, and that the Gospel, which means good news, offers us a way out by way of a pardon, but that pardon cannot be issued on our behalf unless we accept full responsibility for our sins by confessing them before Jesus. After admitting that we are sinners, we turn to fully trusting that God in His mercy, will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness with the precious blood that Jesus shed for our sins. That was the culture of most western nations under the Judeo Christian value system that past generations were brought up under; admit your mistakes, assume responsibility for your misdeeds, receive forgiveness and do not do it again whatever it was that you did wrong! But that is not the culture that our present generation has been brought up to believe, under secular humanism they are told not to get caught, so if they can get away with their wrong doing, no harm done. What happens if they get caught? Blame it on something or someone else, society, your parents, your neighbors, it's is their fault; and avoid responsibility by all means. In other words lie through your teeth if you have to, after all, what difference does it make at this time? But you have to say it with conviction, if you do, the press will love you for that. This is why there is so much disregard for the truth nowadays. But if judgment is coming, and that is what the Gospel teaches, then our faith and way of life to them becomes an inconvenient truth that they do not want to put up with. Habakkuk 2:2-4 “...Write the vision (of the gospel) and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end (of time) it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold the proud (those under the influence of secular humanism), his soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith.” Pride goes before the fall, and secular humanism is based on the spirit of pride, so that we can clearly see that during the end of time, the Gospel will be preached to all the nations, meanwhile the spirit of secular knowledge will continue to corrupt mankind with the lie. Romans 1:25 “Who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” In the verses that follow you can see a clear depiction of a culture that has been nurtured under the tutelage of the lie. It brings to mind the Scripture that says that the more that sin abounds the more that the grace of God abounds. So that there is an opportunity here for those of us who are not ashamed of the Gospel, to proclaim the truth in love to those who are perishing, to admonish them to make themselves right with God before the final judgment comes, remember that though it tarries, wait for it, for it will surely come. Romans 2:6-9 “(God) Who will render to each one according to his deeds: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil…” The choice that we present to them is a clear choice, we are all sinners, but our God is a merciful God, if He forgave me, and He did, surely He will forgive you as well. We speak the truth in love and with the clear conviction that the time of His return is very near. Galatians 3:22 “But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to (all) those who believe.” The only requirement is faith in Jesus Christ. Hebrews 10:22-23 “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” The time is short and the days for salvation are drawing even shorter, I plead with those of you who are still able to follow the path of reason, that through common sense you might be able to understand that present human behavior defies natural logic. Clearly, humanity is rushing headlong into an incomprehensible abyss of unparalleled historical precedent, we have seen bits and pieces of the horrors that are coming under the banner of men’s inhumanity to men, but that is all kid stuff compared to that which is coming. Surely you do not want to be part of that, do you? I know that it is hard to understand the born again experience without the experience, but God also says that we should come and reason together with Him. If you are not sure of your future, why don’t you just ask Him, that’s how I got saved. I came to the conclusion, when I was twenty nine years of age, that I could not be righteous before God on my own merits so I just simply prayed: Lord, I lack the ability to be perfect before You, unless You show me how to be right with You, I will not make it to heaven, or something like that. Amazing how immediately He began to work things out in my life and eventually lead me to a church service, where I responded to an altar call and experienced that very night my new life in Jesus Christ. I just celebrated this June, thirty seven years since that glorious night, June 2, 1976 that changed my life and my family’s life forever. God is no respecter of persons, there is no sin too big that He will not forgive, and there is no desire whatsoever in His heart to inflict punishment on you or anyone else, as it is written: Ezekiel 33:11 “Say to them: ‘As I live, says the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’” God views human life as very precious in His sight, if you with a true heart ask Him to reveal His path of salvation for you, there is no rock that He will not move out of your way so that you can find His salvation. And once you’ve experienced His love for you, you will never be the same, I can testify to that. Remember always that the just shall live by his/her faith. May God bless you with His salvation, and thank you for taking this lesson to heart. Previous Next Home

  • THE ANOINTED VOW | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

THE ANOINTED VOW The objective of this teaching is to reveal the spiritual significance of making an anointed vow before God, and how His anointing works in harmony with His promises, timing, and purposes. It aims to show that salvation, calling, and consecrated vows are not forgotten by the Lord, but are sealed by His anointing, which continues to call out to Him until His Word is fulfilled in the believer’s life. THE ANOINTED VOW Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to reveal the spiritual significance of making an anointed vow before God, and how His anointing works in harmony with His promises, timing, and purposes. It aims to show that salvation, calling, and consecrated vows are not forgotten by the Lord, but are sealed by His anointing, which continues to call out to Him until His Word is fulfilled in the believer’s life. Synopsis: The Anointed Vow examines the relationship between vows, anointing, and the divine timing of God’s promises. Using Jacob’s vow at Bethel as a foundational text (Genesis 31:13), Pastor Marcos explains that God always remembers anointed prayers and vows, even when believers forget them. He illustrates this truth through personal testimony, showing how a prayer for understanding prophecy was answered years later, on the exact anniversary of his vision of the rapture. The teaching outlines a clear process of divine fulfillment: Salvation – entering into God’s grace and being qualified for His purpose. Answering the Call – responding actively to His holy calling. Making a Vow – consecrating one’s life in surrender to God’s will. Following God’s Leading – obeying His direction faithfully. Forsaking the World – walking the narrow path of tribulation and rejecting false gospels of comfort. Pastor Marcos emphasizes that vows made in faith are sealed with God’s anointing, which acts like a spiritual watchman, continuously interceding before the Lord until the promise is fulfilled. Just as Jerusalem’s destiny has been proclaimed for millennia and is still being carried forward by God’s anointing, so too are believers’ lives carried by their anointed vows. Ultimately, this lesson teaches that the process of salvation, calling, vow, and anointing requires endurance and time, but it assures believers that God never forgets. His anointing guarantees that His purposes will be fulfilled in the lives of those who remain faithful. Inspired Teaching: Genesis 31:13 “I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed the pillar and where you made a vow to Me. Now arise, get out of this land, and return to the land of your family.” There are many facets to God’s anointing and to the power that flows out of His anointing, in this lesson we will deal with the timing aspect of God’s anointing. Galatians 4:4 “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law.” If you have been a Christian for a while, you know that the fulfillment of God’s promises always follows a clearly prescribed path. God gives us the promise, we believe in the promise that He gives us, and at the appropriate time we see its fulfillment take place in our lives. I believe that there is an aspect of God’s anointing, be it personal or corporal, that follows the same principle. Whenever we see a revival taking place, whether it be in a church, a city, or even a nation, it is the result of an anointed vow that persons made in the past concerning the areas where the revival is taking place. Keep this in mind, God always answers anointed prayers, even long after we have forgotten that we prayed them. I had a vision of the rapture that transformed everything in my Christian way of life back in February 12, 1989. As a result of the vision I searched desperately for a way to understand prophecy. Eight years to the very date, the book of Revelation finally made sense to me. I even wrote a book about it, it is called Man’s Final Destiny, where I put end time prophecy into the proper and understandable perspective as it is portrayed in the book of Revelation. I had gathered and compiled a great deal of notes and references while I endeavor to understand prophecy, along with those many notes I had a notebook where I had chronicled past daily reading of Scripture and the notes that I took while I was reading them. As I started to put those implements away since I now had the information that had eluded me all those years, I opened the notebook of past prayers to see where to store it, when an entry dated February 12 caught my eye, since this was the anniversary of my vision of the rapture. It turns out that years earlier before I had the vision of the rapture, I had read a Scripture in the book of Revelation and could not understand what it meant. I wrote the Scripture in the notebook and next to it I wrote an entry where I asked the Lord, would He please give me the ability to understand prophecy. So here I had evidence of a sincere prayer that I had prayed years earlier that I had forgotten, and God made sure that I would know that it was an answer to that simple prayer that I had prayed earlier by making the events to take place in the same calendar day. Both the vision of the rapture that compelled me to search and the day when it all finally made sense to me, fell on the anniversary of that simple anointed prayer. Genesis 28:17-19 “And he was afraid and said, ‘How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!’ Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it. And he called the name of that place Bethel (house of God); but the name of that city had been Luz previously.” Then Jacob proceeded to make a vow before the Lord, and it was in answer to the anointed vow that Jacob had made earlier that has our opening text where God tells him to, 'Now arise, get out of this land, and return to the land of your family'. The prayer, the vow, the anointing, in faith believing in God’s promises; it is all a process, and a process always requires the passing of time. But to be sure, no matter how long it takes, whether we remember or have forgotten, God never forgets, for it is the presence of the anointing that serves as watchmen that are always there to remind Him. Isaiah 62:6-7 “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” We see the same principle at work in the verse above. Jerusalem’s destiny is to be the city of the Great King, for Jesus will rule the earth from there during His thousand-year reign, when He will make Jerusalem to become a praise in the earth. Now during Isaiah’s day that future reign was about twenty-seven hundred years away, we are almost there now, but all this time the anointing has not ceased to call out to God to perform it. In the same manner there is an anointing that covers each one of us who believes in His promises, that anointing is continuously calling out to God to perform that which He has promised to do for us. 1 John 2:20 “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things (intuitively).” How do we sort all this out? We need to understand the process! 2 Timothy 1:9 “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.” First notice how Paul makes it clear that the holy calling is not according to our own works, but according to His own purpose and grace. Grace here means His gifts for us and that before time itself ever began. Step number one: We need to get saved! We need to understand that even before the creation, we were destined, and created to fulfill a purpose, His own purpose. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory (our destiny) of God.” But since we all have inherited a corrupt nature, we need to get saved that is we need to become born again of an incorruptible nature. Once we become saved, we are now qualified once again to fulfill His destiny for us, which when we do, it is all to the glory of God. Colossians 1:12 “Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.” Step number two: We need to answer the holy calling! Matthew 22:14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.” The only ones chosen are the ones who answer the call, not just in word but in deed as well. Matthew 6:10 “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” We answer the holy calling when we consecrate ourselves to bring about God’s kingdom upon this earth and His good and perfect will in our lives. Step number three: We make a holy vow before the Lord! Deuteronomy 12:26 “Only the holy things which you have (our holy calling), and your vowed offerings (our lives), you shall take and go to the place which the Lord chooses (which is His destiny for us). His salvation for us qualifies us to answer His holy calling, and in order for us to perform His holy calling in our lives, we need to take an oath of office if you will, and the only thing that we can bring into this oath is our positive answer to His call and a surrender of our lives to fulfill it. As we make a vow before the Lord, the Lord seals it with His anointing oil, which then continuously calls out to God to perform in us that which He originally destined us to be, as long as we stay the course. Step number four: He leads, and we follow! I pleasantly remember those early days of our Christian youth, when both, my wife and I would fall before the altar of our church whenever the Holy Spirit was moving in our midst, and there we would cry out to God: we will go where you want us to go, over mountains, over plains, over seas, and we will do what you want us to do! Other than to teach His Word, I never got any specific assignment or thing that I was to do, I just served in whatever area there was a need. But as I look back now I can see how important those early day vows were to our Lord. For it was there that the Lord placed His anointing over our lives that still directs our paths to this very day. Step number five: Forsake the world, Get out of this land! As the Lord told Jacob. Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult (confined) is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” The allure of this world system is ease; live it up. Why should you suffer confinement instead of comfort? Keep it simple and avoid as much tribulation and persecution as you possible can. This so call gospel radiates out of many churches today, but Jesus warned us about this false gospel, not to fall for it. Matthew 7:15-16 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?” Remember how the Lord told us that in this world we would have tribulation; so that the confinement of the true Gospel is the world’s aim, so that if we are suffering tribulation for the stand that we take, we know then that we are entering in the narrow gate and following the road of difficulties for that is His good and perfect will for us. By examining Old Testament prophecies and their fulfillment in the New Testament, believers are encouraged to dwell in the secret place of God, be filled with the bread of life, oil of the Spirit, and new wine of renewal, so they may live transformed lives and bear fruit as the bride of Christ. Synopsis: This message explores the journey of a Christian’s transformation as foretold by the prophets Jeremiah, Hosea, and Isaiah, and confirmed in the New Testament writings. It begins with the ransom Christ paid for His bride and the promised joy, abundance, and satisfaction for God’s people. Using the imagery of grain (the bread of life), oil (the Spirit’s anointing), and new wine (renewal and revival), the teaching outlines the essential steps of growth in Christ: feeding on God’s Word, dwelling in His presence, and embracing newness of life. Believers are reminded of the necessity of the secret place with God (Psalm 91), where oil and strength are replenished, questions are answered, and intimacy with the Lord is deepened. The parable of the virgins highlights the importance of keeping spiritual oil filled, while Isaiah and Hosea reveal both the blessings of obedience and the consequences of rejecting God’s call. The transformation continues as Christians become ambassadors of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5), laborers in the harvest (John 4), and part of the Spirit-filled cluster of fruit (Isaiah 65). Practical application is emphasized—spending time in prayer, Scripture, and personal communion with God in order to live righteously, evangelize effectively, and be ready for Christ’s return. The message concludes by affirming that transformation is not just for eternity but begins now: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Living in the secret place empowers believers to walk in liberty, reflect God’s glory, and participate in the great harvest as God pours out His Spirit in these last days (Joel 2). Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane. I'm recording this on Saturday, February 4th, 2023. And this message is called a Christian's transformation. Oh, let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this word. We thank you for your blessing and your anointing on it. We thank you for opening our ears to hear, our eyes to see, our hearts to receive, and that we can live and walk under wisdom, knowledge, and understanding through the Holy Spirit. so that we can apply your living word to our lives daily in every moment of every day and be ready for the harvest that is already here so that we can evangelize and reap and sew your fruit. Father God, in the name of Jesus we pray. Thank you, Lord. Amen. Oh, you're going to love this message. This message is going to take some old prophecies and it's going to show you the result of what a Christian will be. Now, we have to take measures to get to be that Christian. And you're going to see that walk in here. You're going to see the transformation take place. So, we're going to start with Old Testament pro prophecy and then we're going to move into the New Testament. But this is so powerful. It's going to change you if you choose to take these steps. So, let's go to our opening scripture here in Jeremiah. We're in Jeremiah 31 11-14. For the Lord has redeemed Jacob and ransomed him from the hand of one stronger than he. I'm going pause here for a moment. I want you to see ransom. Jesus paid the ransom for you and I. Amen. So, this is talking about the bride of Christ. This is talking about Christianity. Now, the nation of Israel will have that opportunity and we're all going to be living together in that wonderful peace and eternity that we're going to have. uh there's that seven-year tribulation period, then you have the thousand-y year reign, and then you have the new Jerusalem. And we're going to be living in that new Jerusalem. So, here you've you've got Jeremiah, and we're going to read Hosea here in a moment. And they're talking about a celebration, a joy. What does that sound like? Our feast or a wedding uh reception that we're going to have when we come into the presence of the Lord during this time. So this is talking about the bride of Christ and those that put Jesus as the son of God. So you're going to see what this is applying to. Nation of Israel missed when they crucified Jesus, which they needed to. The Lord handled all that. He took care of it. But they're going to catch it here in the end at the midway of the seven-year tribulation. They will catch it, and they're going to be right there with us. So let's take a look. Let's continue to read on here. Verse 12. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, streaming to the goodness of the Lord for wheat and new wine and oil for the young of the flock and the herd. Their souls shall be like a well-watered garden, and they shall sorrow no more at all. They then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old together. Notice the key word then. For I will turn their mourning to joy, will comfort them and make them rejoice rather than sorrow. I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says the Lord. Saturate the soul of the priests. Remember, we're are priests. I've been teaching on that. So, our souls are going to be saturated here. We're going to be and and I don't know if you've ever seen a beautiful garden that is well watered but I am telling you right now when you look at one of those it is incredible to see the effort that they put in here but it's so peaceful when you look at it and look at it says their souls shall be like a well-watered garden. So this is talking about the end result of being a Christian whether you're in the human form still alive on this planet or you're in the presence of the Lord but we're well satisfied. Now I take it as here and now because he says uh let's go back to that scripture. He says then look at this then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance and the young men and the old together for I will turn their mourning to joy. There is no mourning in heaven. So this is talking about our earthly presence here and he's talking about the bride of Christ. Now there is something key here I want you to see because this is very very very important. You know, I could teach for months on just these scriptures alone in Hosea. We'll get to that in a moment. But look, it says for wheat and new wine and oil. Okay. So, let's look at this for a minute because there are three ingredients here that goes with the Christian's walk. Okay? And yes, I'm taking it from the Old Testament. We'll see it in the New Testament. So, you got the wheat or the grain, and that is the bread of life. Jesus is the bread of life. So we grab onto him and we fill up on the bread of life. Now you are also going to have the new wine and the oil. Now let's talk about the oil for a moment. I'll get to the new wine because that's what I want to focus on with this. The oil is when you spend time in the presence of the Lord. If you take a look at Solomon's temple or you look at when Moses spent time with God on the mountain, Moses shined. He he had such a shine they had to put a veil over his face. The temple nobody could enter it. They would die because of the shikina glory that emanated from it. So when you enter the presence of the Lord now in your flesh because remember the temple uh the the veil was torn in two at the temple. We get to go to Jesus directly which means we feed off of his living word which is the bread of life. And then that's the Christian. And then you have the oil. You fill up on the oil when you're in his presence. Well, how do you get that oil when you're in his presence? And remember, the oil is the numa, the power, the spirit that moves forward for us. You see, when you dwell in the secret place, I'm going to remind you of that scripture here in just a moment. You are filling up with the oil. Remember the the parable of the 10 virgins. They 50% had enough oil, 50% didn't have enough oil, but they were all Christians. So, how do you get enough oil so that you're on the right side? You spend time in the presence of the Lord. Let's go and look at that. Let's look. Psalm 91 says, "He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty." This is where you get your oil. This is also where you're going to get your grain because it's a two-way conversation. You're reading the Bible and you're praying. And let me add a little step here. Write down your questions in a journal. Date it and just wait on the Lord. And I promise you, you'll have your answers within a few days and answers to tough questions. This is how I can come into the presence of the Lord because he's answered. He has satisfied my soul with those questions that how many people call Christians hypocrites because they have questions that we cannot answer because we are not being we're not apologetic to the word of God. We're not standing up and representing the word of God because we don't know. But when you spend time, you know. And then did you see that? He says, "And then new wine for wheat and new wine and oil." Now there's something else. We have seen the grain because those of us that are dwelling in the secret place, we're reading our word and we're being sustained by the bread of life. And those of us that are spending get the oil, too. Because now we're seeing how that numa moves that in fact when you spend time in the word of God, you have you're preparing to go to battle. When you go to church or you go to the grocery market, wherever you're going in your daily routine, you have the power of the Holy Spirit moving ahead of you. And it shows and represents that because you're when you're filling up your cup with oil, it bubble bubbles out. It boils out and it falls on people around them and they know it. They sense it. But then there's the new wine. First of all, new wine is not fermented. Hasn't fermented yet because you got to put the wine in a new wine skin so it can ferment. That means you got to take off the old and put on something new. So, we need to be doing that. And I tell you, if we were doing that, we'd already be in our revival, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We're going to be talking about that because that is the end result of all of this. Let's go to Hosea now. Let's continue and look at it from Hosea's perspective. Same type of prophecy here. This is Hosea chapter 2. We're looking at verses 2 uh 20- 23. I will betro you to me in faithfulness, and you shall know the Lord. What? When Romans 10:9 says that if you confess Jesus Lord, you confess him with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and you believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead because you're talking to you the spirit. You cannot see it. That's an act of faith. So that moment that you speak that word, look at that. You become betrothed to God and it's through faithfulness. You have to be in faith to do it because you cannot see God when you're talking to him. So you see this is about the Christian. This is the bride of Christ. Look at how Hosea is bringing this out. God is very he's clear in identifying who this belongs to. Verse 21. It shall come to pass in that day that I will answer, says the Lord, and I will answer the heavens and they shall answer the earth. The earth shall answer with grain, with new wine, and with oil. shall answer Jezrael. Then I will sow her for myself in the earth, and I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy. Then I will say to those who were not my people, you are my people, and they shall say, "You are my God." I'm going to tell you right now, let me in the past few years, my prayer has changed. And I say this multiple times throughout the day. I always say, "Lord, you are my God, my King, my Lord, and my Savior. I belong to you and you belong to me." Did you know I was saying that before I even knew this scripture existed? That is how the Holy Spirit works. So, I'm a walking testimony to the fulfillment of that prophecy here. Please understand that you can be doing that and you should be doing that because as you spend more time with the Lord, you're saying you are my God because look at you are taking care of me. I mean, you see him move. You see the spirit move around you. Things that shouldn't have happened happen that were good that blessed you. And you're just sitting there going, "Wow, Lord, how'd you do that?" Isn't that just absolutely incredible? This is how the Lord works. Now, look at this. I want you to see this. I will enter the heavens and they shall answer earth. Now, look at here. How our earth answering in the earth. We're going to have new grain. So, not only are we going to have the bread of life and flour and wheat and all that that we need, which we do, even in these times where our economy is just out the window right now. You see, God still provides. He has blessed our household amazingly simply because I'm spending time in the secret place with the Lord, which you saw is Psalm 91:1. You choose. That's your action. You choose to do that. See, it's secret. When you go to church, that's not secret. Everybody can see you there. You see the difference? You got to spend time with God in the secret place. One, you get your oil. And two, he knows your name. You know his name. Now look at this. So now he's again talking about the grain, the new wine, and the oil. So now you can see how this Old Testament is telling you what you and I today are going to be like. You got to realize the word of God, you know, the whole action of the word of God that took place in history because this is true history. It happened to be written for you and I today. Paul didn't have the New Testament. He wrote it. Abraham didn't have a church to go to. He had to build it. Moses didn't have the five books of the Bible. He had to write them. Do you see now what when you say, "Okay, well, Jesus is the son of God and I acknowledge him because I hear it in the word of God, but I believe in faith." Now, you have the word of God because it happened in the past and you get to live it today. They lived for you and I today to have that word and it is being fulfilled. This is very, very powerful. Now, I'm going to show you Isaiah 65 because we're still in the Old Testament. Now, Isaiah is clearly telling you, you got a choice. And this is, remember, uh, when you're evangelizing and you're going to reap and sew, we're going to get into this here in just a bit. People have a choice. You choose God or you choose not God. So, and and they don't understand that, you know, they'll say something like, "Jesus is cool. He's a prophet. He's a great guy." That's not acknowledging he's the son of God. You know, even Israelites will say he he was a good pro prophet. He he you know, he did okay. But they'll tell you straight up, we're not looking for the son of God. We're looking for a man to be our Messiah. And they tell you that. So you can see how their vision, they have a veil over their eyes. You're going to see scripture related to that. But you can see now they there's a choice. Isaiah 65 tells you the consequences to the choice. Now remember, I am showing you what it's going to be like to be that Christian. We're the transformation that we're going to go through that we're going to be walking in this new wine. Watch this. So Isaiah is giving us two choices. So we're I'm going to take snippets from Isaiah 65:8. Thus says the Lord, as the new wine is found in the cluster and one says, do not destroy for a blessing is in it, so will I do for my servants sake that I may not destroy them all. Now I want you to see that. See the new wine? Now he's defining the new wine because how do you take off the old wine skin and put on a new wine skin? Did you notice that? Look at he says is found in the cluster. Oh, get this. Get this. I need you to get this. When you reap, not just sew, you're going to be sewing, too. But when someone becomes a believer under you, they're with you. They confess Jesus as the son of God and become a believer under your tutelage. Your branch just produced a grape of fruit on it. So you're that branch and now you've got fruit and is your responsibility to take that person in. Oh, I want you to see this church. See this Christian who's been a Christian for 50 years. Listen, when you bring that person into the church, you get them to start reading the Gospel of John. You get them to start writing down their uh their questions for God in a journal in their own quiet time because you're starting to teach him how to be in the secret place with the Lord. You get them to start talking with God on a daily basis because that's your responsibility. When people don't take up that responsibility, you can see it today. The evidence is there. What's the main person or personal type of person that comes after the church? It's people who got saved. They confess Jesus is Lord. But what happened? They got in the church and they put Christianity on such a high pedestal that we cannot meet their standard because they think now the whole church has to be godlike standard, but we're still human beings. But there's nobody there to tell them, "No, we're still working on it." There's nobody there to tell them, "Get into the word." And look at how people need to keep repenting. These people didn't do that. Wait, get in the word and start praying for them because they need your prayer. But no, instead they walk away from the church. They criticize the church. They call the church hypocrites. Those are your biggest voices are those people. And those are the people that somebody didn't take in. They probably became a Christian at a concert or something, but nobody stepped in to pull them in. Now, the Holy Spirit will work only as much as we're willing to give. So, you can see they already had a standard set uh an expectation and that expectation failed and they blamed it on the church, on God, and like God's not working on anybody. But I promise you, it takes us a step into the presence of the Lord. Now, of course, if you're going to teach somebody how to do that, don't you think you ought to be doing it? So, for you Christian who's been a Christian for 50 years, but you're not doing that. You're only going to church. Well, that's great for sustainment, but you have to understand when you go to church, you are going to church to do battle. you're not going to church to receive at that time. A lot of people think they go to church to receive and they're acting like that and they're taking it for receiving. In fact, what they do is they walk up to the door, they take off their cloak of distress. They take off whatever pain and suffering they have and they leave it at the door. They come in, they receive because see, they in their mind they're coming into the presence of the Lord. Fine. This is good stuff. But you never dealt with the cloak. And what happens? you leave, you pick it back up and you put it on and you wear it for the whole week. But when you enter into the presence of the Lord, Psalm 91:1, in the secret place in your home, you take it off and before you know it, you leave it off. Why? Because God already dealt with it. He dealt with you in that secret place and he built you up and now you get to represent him. So now he brings you into you because you spent time in that secret place. You built up your oil. Now when you come into church, you get to do battle. And the first thing you do is you pray for your church services coming up. Lord, I bless it. You see, now you speak the spoken word of God. I just taught on this a couple of messages about speaking your blessings or speaking your curses. You have a choice and you can see what that consequence is. But now I want you to see this new wine in this vine cluster. Look at what he says here. He says is found in the cluster. Now watch this. I'm going to get more into the scripture, but watch how this works. Imagine your branch has a cluster of fruit on it. Now all of that fruit is coming from the same branch. Jesus is our branch. Now what happens is as that Christian because we're spending time in that secret place we're producing the fruit we're a piece of fruit as well we hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and now the church this cluster operates under one the Holy Spirit no man no man there's a story oh I think it's in um Ukraine or some place out there they had um they had stopped Christianity so much so that you know they got rid of scriptures and what have you that even when they pass papers of where they were going to meet uh they caught on to that the guards did they got arrested beaten up what have you well people just started showing up there was no written paper they just started showing up and guess what other people showed up because the cluster together heard the Holy Spirit tell them where to go Now imagine when you're reaping and sewing, you are talking, you are evangelizing to people in the church or out on the streets, in the grocery store, wherever you may be. Sometimes you're sewing seeds. It could be just a simple smile, but because you're spending time in that secret place, you are now operating. So all those people that you sew a seed on, others have seown a seed on them as well. And what happens is these people are looking at you like, "How did you know? How did you know what to say?" Especially when the Holy Spirit tells you, "Your grandmother's been praying for you. Why haven't you uh repented? What's going on? Can I help you?" Boy, you you can imagine the wakeup call this person has like, "How did you know? You don't know me. You don't know my grandmother." And that's exactly what you say. That's what you do. That's that's how the Holy Spirit works in this cluster. So now you're starting to see where the church where the Christian's transformation goes to. Do you see how neat that is? Oh my goodness. So and one says, "Do not destroy it for a blessing is in it." I'm going to tell you right now, when you have somebody who's bitter in the church or angry at the church or angry at a person in the church or doesn't like that worship song or whatever, they ruin it because they're not spending time in the secret place of the Lord and giving that to the Lord, saying, "I don't like that, Lord. Either help change me or change them." They haven't done that when that is their responsibility. And instead, they prevent the cluster from working. Isn't that amazing how that can happen in the church? Now, we're still in Isaiah 65. Now, let's look at the consequences when you don't choose to be that Christian in the secret place. So, he's telling you straight up, therefore, I will number you for the sword and you shall all bow down to the slaughter. You see, death comes quicker for you. This is powerful. This is so you know there are benefits to getting in the presence of the Lord. Not just the fact that oh well he's amazing. It was great to be in his presence and that he let me be alive today in and of itself. But the fact is you get to live longer because you have the blessing of life on you. But when you don't do it, you have the bless the cursing of death on you. Now look, let's continue. Because when I called you did not answer. The secret place is where he's going to call you. This is the place that you need to be spending time with him so he can prepare you to take you out into ministry wherever it may be. It may not even be in the church. It could be in the street corner or it can be in the jail cells. Wherever you will be called, he will call you but you did not answer. You're a believer but you didn't answer. Could have been this way for 50 years. But I'm telling you right now, there's going to be this cluster coming in. You're going to have to shuck your oldness, your old ways. Put on the new wine skin and get ready. Prep yourself now in the secret place of the Lord because he called you. You are called. And when I spoke, you did not hear but did evil before my eyes and chose that in which I do not delight. You know, speaking of a this is the type of person you're going to be dealing a lot with here in these end times. So, I have a little testimony here. Here I was at the grocery store waiting for the cashier ringing up all my groceries. The person bag the gal bagging my groceries is talking to the cashier and is mad at the church. She and she named the church and I knew the church and she's mad because she's um homosexual and the church kicked her out and they wouldn't even let her wait for a drive or a ride to come pick her up. They made her walk and it was on a mountain and she had to walk down the hill and she was mad and she just whatever. And then out of the blue, she looks at me and, you know, basically asking me what it is, you know, that's going on. And D and I don't know her. She don't know me. But see, she senses the spirit. And the one thing I said to her was very simple. I said, "How can you expect God to bless you when he told you homosexuality is a sin?" She responded, "Well, she says, "I know. But you know what? She gave me a hug, thanked me, and she continued on her way. She didn't change. You see, that's what people want today. Whether you're a sinner or a Christian who's got one foot in the church and one foot in the world, you want both. You want evil, you want, well, not evil, you want sin because it's feels good for a season. You want your sin and you want to live uh and have God's blessings on you. You can't have both. You have to choose and Isaiah clearly tells you. Now look at what it continues to tell you though when you choose him. So you have for uh verse 17. For behold I create new heavens and a new earth and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. Remember we are also talking about what's coming up after the the millennial. You're going to have a Jerusalem, a new Jerusalem. We're going to be shucking off of the old wine skin, putting on the new one, and we're going to be part of the new heavens and the new earth. So, he's telling you straight up where this is going. Now, look at this. And he's prophesying in verse 24 and 25. And it shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer. Here's the most amazing part talking about us here and now. Let's say you're not feeling very well. something you just know you're down or whatever, whatever's going on. Before you even prayed and asked God cuz you've been dwelling in the sequence, he already knew and he sent you your healing. You already have it. In fact, it goes away. You get up, you decide to nope, I'm not going to be it. That's it. I'm moving on because I don't have time for that one. Or you know what? I'm not going to get sick because I know that I was already healed. I say it already healed. So now once you know that, that it goes right out the window. He answered you even before you needed to. Which that is prophetic anyways because Jesus took the healing. The beating his back was torn to pieces. He took the stripes for us. By his stripes, we were healed. By his stripes, we are healed. So, it's amazing to see how he already did all that. You're in a financial situation. He knows. So, before you even ask, he answered and already provided. It's on its way. Now imagine being part of that cluster where you're moving under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Put a check here. You do this. You do that because the Holy Spirit told you. You're doing what you need to do. This is how this is going to be working. And while they're still speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together. The lion shall eat straw like the ox. And thus shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain, says the Lord. The lion and the lamb living together. We're going to see that. But the me best part is to see that it is now. You see, our heavenly eternity already began here and now in our flesh. You I I get to say, I'm already saved and I've already started my eternity because I've already died to this world. Because I enter into the secret place with the Lord. And when I spend my time there, I get to sin runs. It leaves. I don't have to have sin on me. I'm considered righteous. Oh, you got to grasp this. Got to grasp this. Let's look at um 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. And now all things are of God who has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. Pause here. Remember what I was talking about? If you if if a Christian becomes a Christian or believer under your moment, you shared the word of God with that person and they accepted Jesus Christ into their heart. You are given the responsibility of reconciliation. How do you reconcile? You bring them into the secret place with the Lord because you want him and God to bond. Do you see that? And he's telling us that's our responsibility. I want you to see that. Says uh given us the ministry of reconciliation. That is that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Hallelujah. And now then, we are ambassadors for Christ as though God were pleading through us. You know, when you're in the secret place, he is getting you prepped and ready. He is preparing you. He's giving you scripture that you're it's going to click with you and you're going to have it in your mind and you're going to be able to share it with somebody and you're going to be reconciling them to the Lord. And that see you have become that new creation. Oh, so awesome. Look at this. For he made him who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in him. So when you are spending time getting the oil, getting the grain, getting prepped, getting rid of the old wine skin, putting on the new wine skin, getting ready to operate in that cluster. You are now righteous in the presence of God. Now you're ready to evangelize. You're ready to go forward. Look at this in John. What What do you have to do when you evangelize? John 4:35-38. Do you not say there are still four months and then comes the harvest? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields for they are already white for harvest. And he who reaps receives wages and gathers fruit for eternal life. That both he who sws and he who reaps may rejoice together. For in this the saying is true, one sws and another reaps. I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored. Others have labored and you have entered into their labors. Again, these people are going to be amazed because you're going to say things others have already told them and they're going to wonder how did you know? And they're going to realize that God is real and they're going to repent hopefully in that moment. But you also got to bring them in to the reconciliation into that ministry so that they get close to God so they don't become that person who hates the church and calls the church hypocritical. You are ministering to different types of people. Realize this. Go read the parable of the sewer. When God is sewing seed, there's some that land on hard soil. Ha. Have you ever tried to germinate a seed and grow seed from scratch? Some are very temperamental and you may not even be able to grow any seed of that kind. Just you can't. It's your your where you live. It's the weather. You just can't. But someone else can. in another area. And that's exactly how it is. Now, remember, I've been talking about that this is your responsibility. Let's go back to the life of a plant for a moment. When a plant is sitting in a pot in your house, does it get watered by itself? No. You have to go pick it up and go water it. Meaning, you have to go get the water, the grain from the living word of God, the bread of life, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and then the oil. And now the new wine. You're going to be taking the action of removing your old wine skin and getting ready for the new wine skin and what God has set for you. And this is preparing you to evangelize, preparing you to do battle because you will be dealing with spiritual matter. I mean, take a look at the room you're in. You can't see it, but there are angels and demons standing around you. So, how do you get the victory? You have to be in the secret place with the Lord first. And you pray over your service. You bless the service because that means when the devil or the demon and the angel are fighting, the angel has a victory over that service and people come in and they feel a difference and it's like, "Wow, this is neat. Wow, I got I got blessed. I'm going back." You see, that is how you get prepped for warfare. You go into it and that is how you have the victory. And it's because you are transforming as that Christian because why your seed is growing. You know what God you accepted Jesus Christ in your heart. It was a seed that was planted in you. Remember Adam comes from the dust of the earth. So you got a seed and then you got baptized. And when you got baptized that put you in a ministry. Remember when Jesus was baptized he went and dealt with the devil first. So imagine a new believer, a new Christian, that first love. Remember your first love. You get baptized. you're ready to go into ministry. You and in fact a new Christian is a sink or swim moment here in that beginning. Why? Because now they get a taste of the spirit world and they they start to see and understand and they should have questions. They should be coming to you and asking you questions. You should be answering them with the Holy Spirit. And if you can't, you work with him and said, "Let's go find that answer together." Amen. Amen. That is that first love. So when you who's been a Christian for 50 years now get into that secret place, you're going to remember your first love and you're going to be getting ready because you're now going to have that grain, the bread of life. You're going to be sustained by the living word of God and you're going to have the anointing of the oil which is going to splatter on people because it's going to be flowing over your cup. And now you're going to have the new wine where you're going to be operating because you're going to hear the spirit of the Lord, the Holy Spirit talk to you. Do you see that transformation a Christian takes in their life, in their walk? And it only happens for as much as you're wi Previous Next Home

  • GOD’S DWELLING PLACE | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

GOD’S DWELLING PLACE To equip believers with the understanding of how God’s light and truth lead His people into His dwelling place, especially in the midst of personal persecution and national corruption. This lesson aims to help Christians discern between common trials and targeted spiritual attacks, to encourage faithfulness amidst oppression, and to prepare themselves as vessels—tabernacles—for God’s delivering power through purity, separation from idolatry, and joyful worship. GOD’S DWELLING PLACE Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: To equip believers with the understanding of how God’s light and truth lead His people into His dwelling place, especially in the midst of personal persecution and national corruption. This lesson aims to help Christians discern between common trials and targeted spiritual attacks, to encourage faithfulness amidst oppression, and to prepare themselves as vessels—tabernacles—for God’s delivering power through purity, separation from idolatry, and joyful worship. Synopsis: “GOD’S DWELLING PLACE” explores the deep cry of the psalmist in Psalm 43:3: “Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle.” Pastor Marrero begins by acknowledging the reality of persecution, which ranges from general spiritual trials common to all believers (1 Corinthians 10:13) to personal, targeted attacks fueled by spiritual opposition and national apostasy (Psalm 43:1–2). The lesson draws a clear line between: Common temptation that tests every believer, and Specific persecution that targets individuals—often those receiving spiritual revelation or occupying high spiritual callings (2 Corinthians 12:7). Pastor Marrero uses David’s life as a case study, showing how David endured personal attacks from Saul and an ungodly system, not by retaliating, but by refusing to partake in idolatry, maintaining integrity (Psalm 26:1–5), and trusting in God’s vindication. David’s refusal to “sit with the wicked” became the very thing that qualified him to be a dwelling place for God’s glory, and eventually to lead Israel into national revival. The teaching emphasizes that: God’s light and truth are the forces that drive away demonic oppression, but they require a dwelling place—a purified heart that hosts His presence. Psalm 24 identifies the qualifications to ascend to God’s holy hill: clean hands, a pure heart, and separation from idols. The message turns prophetic as Pastor Marrero addresses modern nations—particularly America—that have turned from righteousness, allowing demonic influence to infiltrate their systems. He points to the judiciary’s corruption, moral decay, and contempt for God’s people as evidence of national backsliding (Proverbs 14:34). In response, the believer is called to: Separate from worldly alliances, Maintain personal holiness, Cry out for God’s vindication, and Become a living tabernacle where His presence dwells. The teaching concludes with the reminder that God’s dwelling place is ultimately within the heart of the faithful worshiper—one who rejects compromise, embraces joy in God, and adorns themselves with the garment of praise to break the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3). The believer’s prayer becomes David’s prayer: “Lead me in Your truth… for You are the God of my salvation” (Psalm 25:4–5). Inspired Teaching: Psalm 43:3 “Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle (dwelling place).” There has always been oppression from God’s enemy Satan against those whose desire is to do God’s will. In many instances some even experience greater persecution than others. It is like that today as well. But there is a kind of persecution that those who experience it, feel like they have been personally targeted. And it soon becomes obvious to them that in order for them to be delivered from such persecution that they need to be personally vindicated. 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear (endure) it.” It is true that all persecution is such as that which is common to man. But it is also true that some are able to endure more than others, so that the intensity of the persecution may vary from one individual to another. 2 Corinthians 12:7 “And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.” It is also true that for those who are seeking and receiving spiritual revelation from the Lord, in order to keep their pride at bay, the Lord allows them to endure greater persecution than others, but never more than that which they are able to endure. We see this with people who are placed in high positions of spiritual authority. They have to endure greater waves of persecution, in order to keep them from giving into the pride that follows their high position which would cause them to fall. That is why the Bible warns against installing untested novices in high positions of authority, for they will not be able to endure the level of persecution that naturally follows such high positions. Psalm 43:1 “Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!” It is clear from the opening of Psalm forty-three, that the psalmist is dealing with the kind of persecution that has targeted him personally. Here we see an opportunity to learn how to deal with this kind of personal persecution and how to discern the difference between this kind of persecution and that which is common to man. It appears that the origin of this temptation was an ungodly nation who had targeted individuals like the writer of this Psalm for personal attacks. It also involved a deceitful and unjust man who was personally, unjustly, and deceitfully, attacking the writer of this Psalm and those like him. Psalm 42:10 “As with a breaking of my bones, my enemies reproach (revile) me, while they say to me all day long, ‘Where is your God?’” The difference between the temptations which are commonly natural to all believers, and the persecutions that arise out of an ungodly nation is the unleashing of the demonic hordes that are able to afflict a nation who has turned from God to the wickedness of this world. Proverbs 14:34 “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” These demonic hordes target those who are spiritual and who are able to warn the nation of the dangers into which it has fallen. Judge, after judge, after judge, keep ruling against the will of the American people. It seems that no matter what good moral laws we pass, what constitutional amendments we write and vote into law, all it takes is one federal judge to declare it null and void. The high stakes of this spiritual warfare are enormous, for the future of the nation, and to a lesser degree, the future of the world is being decided. Psalm 43:2 “For You are the God of my strength; why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?” Like the psalmist, we end up feeling rejected and left out by God Himself. How can we stand up against these demonic hordes that are running rampant against our nations? Let’s take another look into our opening text. Psalm 43:3 “Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle.” Light, or enlightening truth from God is the only thing that is able to drive away any and all demonic hordes from our midst. However, this powerful force of deliverance needs a dwelling place, a tabernacle in this earth in order to be successful. In order to become a tabernacle for God’s delivering power, we have to enter into His holy hill and abide with Him in His tabernacle. We dealt with this in the previous lesson; according to Psalm 24, only those who have clean hands and a pure heart, who have not lifted up their souls to idols nor sworn deceitfully are able to receive this power. Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.” Now, more than ever before, fellowship with this world system can have disastrous consequences on our ability to powerfully intercede against all the evil forces that war from within our nations governments against the Word of God. So that we see the interaction between the corporal and the individual. The ungodly nation and the deceitful and unjust man. David was just an individual, but he refused to compromise with the sin of idolatry. God rewarded his faithfulness by making him king of the nation of Israel, and David drove that nation into its highest glory. Saul, the first king of Israel became an idolater—for his disobedience was as the sin of witchcraft—and he severely and personally persecuted David aiming to destroy his life. How did David overcome the personal persecution that aimed to destroy him personally and the purpose that God had for David’s life? Psalm 26:4-5 “I have not sat with idolatrous mortals, nor will I go in with hypocrites, I have hated the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked.” Notice how David begins Psalm twenty-six the same way that the other psalmist began Psalm forty-three, Vindicate me, O Lord. Psalm 26:1 “Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity. I have also trusted in the Lord; I shall not slip.” Under king Saul, both the nation and the king persecuted David, for Saul pursued David with Israel’s army for the purpose of killing him. David prayed to the Lord, and I’m paraphrasing: Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have not walked in their idolatry; that is what he meant by I have walked in my integrity. He continued, I did not sit with them, and I will not sit with them, the idolaters and the evil doers. I will not be a part of their wickedness, no matter how much it costs me. David triumphed over the man by refusing to partake in his idolatry, and by faithfully waiting on God and not taking matters into his own hands. He pleased God—and God gave to him the nation of Israel as his reward. The greatest desire of David’s heart was to build a dwelling place for the glory of God to rest while here on the earth! It is safe to say that God had already found a dwelling place here on the earth in the heart of David. Psalm 43:4 “Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy; and on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.” It does not matter whether it is David, the sons of Korah, or us; when we make our God our exceeding joy, renounce all idolatries, and cry out to God for vindication—God’s dwelling place takes residence within us. The anointing oil distilled from the fragrance of our songs of praise breaks off the oppression of the enemy and we are able to enter into the hill of the Lord with thanksgivings in our hearts. Isaiah 61:3 “To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” There is no doubt that the nations of the world that once honored the Gospel of Jesus Christ, have turned their backs on the God of the Gospel; they have decided to follow the god’s of their own making and imaginations. They now live with open reproach and contempt against those of us who have kept the faith of our founding fathers. They have elected for themselves leaders that represent their contempt against us in the way they govern. They have deceived and continued to deceive those who should know better, into keeping them in power. They have no regard for truth. They do not care how much misery they inflict upon those whom they deceive. Their hatred towards God has no bounds since their father is the devil, who was a liar and a murderer from the very beginning. But we know them, we know the spirits that drive them, and we have no part with them. Let the dead bury their own dead. As for us, this is our heartfelt prayer: Oh Lord, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead us. Let Your light and Your truth bring us into Your holy hill and into Your tabernacle. Psalm 25:4-5 “Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all day.” Previous Next Home

  • BABYLON IS FALLEN | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

BABYLON IS FALLEN The objective of this chapter is to explain the prophetic fall of Babylon, the great harlot of Revelation 18, as the collapse of the global system of false religion, self-worship, and materialism. It seeks to show how God’s judgment exposes the demonic infrastructure behind human corruption, idolatry, and bloodshed. The goal is to warn believers to separate themselves from Babylon’s sins, reveal the eternal destiny of demonic powers, and highlight the heavenly rejoicing over God’s righteous vengeance and justice. BABYLON IS FALLEN Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of this chapter is to explain the prophetic fall of Babylon, the great harlot of Revelation 18, as the collapse of the global system of false religion, self-worship, and materialism. Synopsis: The chapter begins with the angelic declaration in Revelation 18: “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen,” unveiling that the world’s demonic system—rooted in self-worship, false religion, secular humanism, and commercial exploitation—has been exposed and destroyed in one swift act of God’s judgment. Babylon, once a center of wealth, indulgence, and sorcery, is revealed as the dwelling place of demons and the engine of persecution against the saints. Believers are warned to “come out of her,” avoiding the sins and plagues that fall upon her, for her self-exaltation and luxury have brought God’s wrath in a single day of fire, famine, and mourning. With the demonic deception removed, many who once followed secular humanism and selfish ambition will finally recognize their spiritual misery, refuse the mark of the beast, and repent. The destruction of Babylon also collapses the global economic system, leaving the nations in despair without hope or mercy from the beast. The text ties this event to a larger biblical pattern, beginning with Cain’s jealousy and murder of Abel, showing how sin, pride, and demonic influence always demand blood. All human bloodshed, from Abel to the martyrs, cries out to God, and in Babylon’s fall, this blood is avenged. While humans are judged according to their choices within their dispensations, the demons who instigated sin are now bound to their eternal prison within Babylon. Heaven rejoices over this judgment, as seen in Revelation 19, where the multitude praises God for avenging His servants. The chapter emphasizes that participation in spiritual adultery—idolatry, self-righteousness, and false worship—always leads to destruction, while true repentance and the application of Christ’s blood deliver from demonic power. The fall of Babylon marks the triumph of God’s justice and the eternal imprisonment of the forces that have corrupted humanity throughout history. Inspired Teaching: Here is the chapter from my book Man’s Final Destiny, where I deal with the fall of the great harlot. Revelation 18:1-3 “After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.’” The word “illuminated” indicates that something that had been hidden is now revealed; what’s been revealed here is that the demonic infrastructure that gravitated around the worship of self has been exposed. The demons of commercialism and exploitation that pandered to the corrupt vices of the masses have now been exposed and deposed. The system of false religion and secular humanism that entangled humanity is not needed any more; is abolished in one hour and with them go all the demons that influenced all that selfishness and debauchery. Like a communist dictator, the beast will demand the total and complete sacrifice of his followers, their one and only goal from now on is to be prepared to fight against the Lamb; victory at all cost will be their hopeless cry. Revelation 18:4-8 “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, “I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.” Therefore her plagues will come in one day — death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.’” We need to remember that these die-hards who come out of her now were eyewitnesses to Jesus the Lamb of God coming down on the clouds of heaven and rapturing away the saints, they also lived through the five months of hell on earth and the ministry of the two witnesses. They saw the feet of Jesus split the Mount of Olives and provide a way of escape for the elect, and the raising from the dead of those who chose martyrdom. Why are these die-hards having a change of mind now? The demons that deceived them have been driven out and locked down! For the first time ever or maybe in a long time they now get to see the misery of their condition and repent by refusing to take the mark of the beast. Many of the environmentalists and secular humanists will see for the first time the demons of self-righteousness that were behind all their labors. With these demons out of the way, Satan will demand that they worship and forfeit themselves to him, for it will be known to all, that if they take the mark of the beast they will be with the devil forever. Revelation 18:14 “The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all.” The world’s entire economic system is destroyed in one hour and now they find themselves at the mercy of the beast and will find none. Revelation 18:23-24 “The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth” Selfish ambition and its partnership with demonic entities is the root of all bloodshed and the engine for the persecution of the saints who refused to get in bed with the god of this world. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” Here is the chapter from my book that follows after the judgment of the great harlot. Revelation 19:1-5 “After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, ‘Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.’ Again they said, ‘Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!’ And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, ‘Amen! Alleluia!’ Then a voice came from the throne, saying, ‘Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!’” When Cain’s non-blood sacrifice was rejected by God, Cain got very angry because of jealousy over his brother, because Abel’s blood sacrifice was accepted. In order to understand all the great rejoicing in heaven over the judgment of the great harlot is imperative for us to see the tremendous influence that the demons behind the door of sin have exerted over all mankind through all the ages. Genesis 4:6-7 “So the LORD said to Cain, ‘Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.’” Sin always has an accomplice which opens a door; a person who does wrong (sins), must go through that opened door, if he or she repents and does the right thing: that is, applies the blood sacrifice (asks God for forgiveness) on the lintel and the two door posts (take our sins to the cross of Jesus for those of us today) of that opened door, then that person will disarm the demon behind the door of his power to harm them, and will gain mastery over that demon. But if pride which is rooted in self righteousness prevents them from repenting and doing the right thing, then those demonic entities will demand blood from them. That is why Cain ended up murdering his brother Abel. All shed human blood, beginning with the righteous blood of Abel and ending with the judgment of the great harlot, is crying out to God for vengeance. God’s judgment is two-fold, he judges the humans first according to the laws that applied to them in the dispensations from which they came. If they repented and made atonement for their sins, God forgives them and raises them up from the dead which was part of their judgment. If they did not repent, then they will remain dead until the final judgment which will take place at the end of one thousand years. But the demonic accomplices of humanity have never been judged yet, because once the person they enticed to sin died, they were free to torment someone else, usually a family member and continued to follow their descendants. Luke 16:27-28 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’” Perhaps the most frustrating thing for the saints in heaven is seeing these demonic creatures wreak havoc upon the whole of humanity with such impunity. These demons would say to Jesus: Have You come to torment us before our time. They knew that as long as man does not apply the blood of Jesus to the open door of sin, they had free range. But finally the hour of their judgment has come: this entity called Babylon the great—false religion, which was their vehicle with which they could operate freely in our earthly dwellings, has now become their eternal prison of torment. At this great sight every heavenly dweller rejoices mightily for the Lord’s vengeance is fulfilled. “He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her. Again they said, ‘Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!’” I hope that you are able to read the entire book, and that you are able to gain spiritual inside as to the importance of staying away from participating in spiritual adultery. Isaiah 44:20 “He feeds on ashes (those who participate in the worshipping of worthless idols); a deceived heart has turned him aside; and he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, ‘Is there not a lie in my right hand?’” Jonah 2:8 “Those who regard worthless idols forsake their own Mercy.” Previous Next Home

UNITY WITH THE LORD The objective of this message is to teach believers how to enter into and walk in perfect unity with the Lord by aligning themselves with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. It emphasizes putting on the mind of Christ, submitting the flesh under the Spirit, and living in one accord with God’s will. Through unity, believers are empowered by the Holy Spirit to fulfill their calling, bear spiritual fruit, and operate in the authority and power of Jesus Christ. < Back UNITY WITH THE LORD Minister Lisa Kane April 16, 2023 Objective: The objective of this message is to teach believers how to enter into and walk in perfect unity with the Lord by aligning themselves with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Synopsis: This message begins by grounding the teaching in Isaiah 9:6, revealing the mystery of Jesus being both the Son and Everlasting Father, pointing to the unified nature of the Trinity. It shows how the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit function together seamlessly, and invites believers into that same unity. From John 8:28 and John 14:26, the message highlights Jesus’ complete obedience to the Father and the Spirit’s role as teacher and helper, revealing the pathway to unity with God. Believers are called to embrace their individual callings in ministry as outlined in Ephesians 4:1–6, living with humility, gentleness, and love, while walking in the bond of peace. Unity is further explained as a three-part reality—body, soul, and spirit—mirroring the triune God. Through Philippians 2:5–11, the importance of putting on the mind of Christ is stressed: humility, obedience, and self-denial. Jesus’ example of lowering Himself, even unto death, shows the path to true unity and exaltation by God. The message draws attention to the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1–4), where unity in one accord released the fire of the Holy Spirit. It contrasts holy unity with the unity at Babel (Genesis 10–11), teaching that unity—whether for good or evil—carries great power. Believers are urged to embrace their authority in Christ, boldly declaring His name and living as God’s temple (1 Corinthians 3:9–16). Finally, the message encourages endurance and strength from the Lord (Isaiah 40:28–31), showing that unity with God empowers believers beyond their natural weakness. The analogy of Eden’s river parting into four heads illustrates the believer joining hands with the Trinity to flow out into the world, bearing lasting fruit that withstands the fire of God’s refining. The teaching closes with a call to action: repentance, putting on the mind of Christ, letting the Holy Spirit refine away worldly attachments, and boldly walking in unity with God to accomplish His purposes on earth. A prayer of repentance and dedication seals the message, urging believers to step fully into their calling with confidence, humility, and divine authority. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane. I'm recording this on Sunday, April 16, 2023. Welcome. This message is called Unity with the Lord. Hallelujah. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your blessing on your word. And we thank you that we have ears to hear and eyes to see and a heart to receive your word. that we may live it, apply it, walk it, and express it, and show it off to others, Father God. For you truly are a treasure that we're trying to share with the world so that they can grab onto this treasure as well. We thank you for your word, your mighty word, the mighty living word of God. And we thank you in the name of Jesus. Amen. Hallelujah. Let's go to our opening scripture here. Unity with the Lord. We're going to start in Isaiah 9:6. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Hallelujah. So what we want to realize and understand here when we walk into unity with the Lord is that God has three functions. He is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. So, I'm going to show you the scriptures of who he is. And as you can see, this is the son being born. But look what he says. Look at the mystery here at the very last sentence there. He says, "Everlasting father." Why does he say that? you know, he's the son of God and God and him work in tandem so well and we're adopted in as brothers and sisters with Jesus and yet he's called the everlasting father. That's incredible because we he we're the fruit that he reaps and that calls him father which also says that God the father, God the son, God the holy spirit even though they have three different functions they are the same walking in one accord. So how do we enter into that unified relationship of the three of them? They're in perfect tandem unity. You can't even tell them apart. When we say God, we're actually speaking to all three. When we ask for repentance, we're speaking to all three. When we ask him to be the Lord of our lives, we're speaking to all three. What is this that we can be a part of and know? Because I have to say, you guys really need to understand how this works. Look at what Jesus says because this is key right here. This is John 8:28. Then Jesus said to them, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and I do nothing of myself, but as my father taught me, I speak these things." Now, you can see something going on here. Jesus is mimicking his father. Jesus. Anything the father says, Jesus is going to follow through and do, which is now giving us a clue of how to get into a unified relationship with the three of them. Look what Jesus said though. This is very powerful. Look at John 14:26. But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. So here we've got three functioning parts of God being pulled together. And all three of them are for the goal of the purpose that the heavenly father has, whatever that may be. Daniel 9:24, bringing into sin, bringing into iniquity, to close up vision and prophecy. These are where God is going. And so if we're going to be in unity with God, then we need to be on that same path. Which means we need to understand how God the Father works, how God the Son, and what he did works. Notice it's today, not past tense. And how the Holy Spirit works, which is who we have here today with us. We need to understand how they work together in tandem. And we need to join in. Let's go here to Ephesians. Ephesians 4 1-6. I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called. I want to pause there. Part of entering into the unity with God is to enter into ministry and to go forth with whatever the calling is in your life. And it could be just simply here in the beginning if you're a new cre uh Christian, new creation, your ministry could simply be smiling and expressing the joy of the Lord. But as the Lord works in you, you're going to find the things that he is working in you to get you to. In my case, I'm called to teach and preach the word of God, and that's what I do. So he shows me the scriptures and he gives me the revelation of the little mysteries that are going on so I can teach it to you whatever he's willing to reveal. But that is my calling. But I do that because I get in unity with God. I've joined hands with all three. Now notice look what he says here. Worthy of the calling for which with which you were called with all loneliness and gentleness with longsuffering bearing with one another in love. There is a transformation that takes place within your spirit the moment you enter. And I am not talking sanctification or salvation. Now I am talking about the understanding of justification and glorification. Because see when we grab hands with God the father. So you got the father, God the son, and God the holy spirit. And then Lisa, you take the four of us together and we're complete. and how God can move his ministry forward because I line myself up with him. Let's continue to read this. Notice it's loneliness and gentleness, longsuffering, bearing with one another, endeavoring to keep, look at this, the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace, the unity of the spirit. You see, we are a body made in his image. And in this body, we have the body, the flesh. We have the soul, our conscience, and then we have the spirit of God that he blew into the nostrils of Adam that continues to perpetuate throughout the generations. So, we're a three-part, but notice we're not in unity. Why? Because the flesh is in sin. We don't spend all time in the presence of God. You see, God is outside of time. So, we have to rest. We have to sleep. So, we have to be in the element of time because we were born into sin. But all three parts need to come together in unity just like God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Let's continue on with Ephesians here. We're in verse four. There's one body and one spirit. Now see something here. Just as you were called in the hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all. Notice this, and in you all. You see, when we're in perfect unity in tandem with God, there's only one, and it is God moving forward. We're just in line with him, behind him, moving forward by the anointing, the pressure of the numa, the Holy Spirit pushing us. Yes. It pushes our conscience. It pushes our soul. And guess what? When we spend time with God and we let the Holy Spirit do that to us, our flesh follows. It might be the last, but it gets there. I'm telling you. I am telling you we can come into that perfect unity with God. Look it it t it it takes our action though we have to do something. Look at what Philippians says. Philippians 2:5-11. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. Okay. So watch this. So Christ Jesus had the mind to follow what his father said. And so now it says, well, we got to put the mind of Christ on us. And guess what that means? We have to follow what the father says. And so the three, four of us with the Holy Spirit working in tandem in unity, pushing forward. Let's continue on. Look at this. Who being in the form of God did not consider it robbery to be equal with God. Whoa. Whoa. Hold on here just a moment. Jesus knew he was equal with God because he's the one who said, "Let there be light." And there was light. So he's the power behind all of this. But he humbled us himself. He put himself into this creation. You know, if you ever make something for yourself, let's say you make a sweater and it's the wrong size or you make a paper castle, you try to step into it. What happens is the body doesn't fit. It's not right. But Christ entered his creation and it was perfect. He redeemed us through the remission of sins. This is what he did. He purposed this. So here you can see, look at the scripture says he did not consider robbery to be equal with God. If we have to be like Christ, we're not being robbers of saying we're equal to God. The difference is we understand what our flesh can do. And this is where now we have to purposely put the mind of Christ on and walk forward and tell our flesh, get in line. Hallelujah. Let's continue on verse seven. But made himself of no reputation. And this is this is so powerful. Jesus knew he was changing the world. Knew he was going to be the most popular person ever to exist on the planet. And yet look at how humble and gentle and low that he was. He He didn't promote himself. People promoted him through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit does this part. Look what he does though. He says, "Taking the form of a bondervant and coming in the likeness of men." Because see now he had to come like a man to see well what we're going through but to fulfill prophecy and to place his blood on the mercy seat. so that you might be saved. Notice the key word there, might, you got to take that action. You got to repent. And if you want to be in unity with Christ, which is the next step, this is how you walk in Christ. This is how you move forward with Christ. This is how you move in ministry. Then it is time to put down the world, let it go, and die to it. And as you put the mind of Christ on, you grab hands with God the Father, who's also holding the Son's hand, who's holding the Holy Spirit. And the four of you together move forward to make disciples of men to reap the harvest. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. What a powerful word. Look at this verse eight. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore, God has highly exalted him and given him the name which is above every name. Pause. God is the one exalting him. God says, "This is my son. I'm well pleased with him." Oh, hallelujah. And you put the mind of Christ on. God is well pleased with you as well. Oh, catch this. Grab this because you wait till you see what happens when you move forward with this. Look at this verse 10. That at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow of those in heaven and of those on earth and of those under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Oh my goodness, the power and the authority that you have just by speaking the name of Jesus. Romans 10:9 when it says that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord you will and believe with your heart you will be saved. That is the power you have. You have this power and God is waiting on you. You have the power to put on the mind of Christ. You have the power to grab on to God's hand and hold on tight because you are moving forward in his name by the choice you make. Not just salvation and mercy, but by the choice you make because it is God and that is whom you love and serve. Oh, what a powerful powerful word of God. And you know when this happens, you get filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The helper, the comforter is here with you. Just like the day of Pentecost. Let's go look at the day of Pentecost. Because you need to be aware of this because now what happens when you putting on the mind of Christ, it is a spiritual matter that you're taking on. Your flesh is pushed down because you're saying, "Nope, I ain't got time for you flesh. You're not going to be the stronghold of me." No, Jesus is my stronghold. The Holy Spirit is my stronghold. I move forward in them. You prophesy that. You speak it. And you have the anointing of the Holy Spirit come out of you wherever you're at. You could be at the gas station. You can be at the grocery store. People will feel it and know it and will ask because they will sense the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit's moving in them. And he's going to give you the right words to say. Look at the day of Pentecost. Look at scripture. Acts 2 1-4 when the day of Pentecost had fully come, which we saw earlier. Jesus said that I'm going to prepare you. You're you're going to have to wait for the Holy Spirit. Look at they did it. They obeyed. They were all in one accord. Look at this. In one accord, in one place in obedience to God. The moment you grab onto God's hands, you are in unity. You are in one accord with God and you are holding hands. And the anointing of the Holy Spirit now is ready to bubble out of you. Oh my goodness. This is awesome. Listen. Says, "And suddenly, oh, I love it. You're You're not even going to be expecting it." "And suddenly came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues as if as on as a fire and one sat upon each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as the spirit gave them utterance. Now you are baptized with fire. Do you understand this is not just the water that germinated the seed and caused growth for you to mature where now you say, "Hey, I can take on that mind of the mind of Christ." Because see, the Holy Spirit had matured you enough to realize I can be with God. I can be in unity with him. I can boldly go to him. I can be like Christ. Look, now I pick up the mind of Christ. And now here comes the baptism of the Holy Spirit. tongues of fire come out of you. Now you're burning things around you. Oh my goodness. You guys got to catch this. You guys got to catch this. You got to understand that the unity in the Lord with the Lord, submitting and humbling yourself to the mission of God is where in one accord the power and the authority of God is going to move and work in around you. And you know what? But when you're in your secret place with the Lord and you're praying, that goes forward because God honors and respects those in his presence and he blesses and he answers your prayer. You ask for rain, he brings rain. You ask for healing, he heals you. You ask for deliverance, he delivers. You ask for the harvest, the harvest will be reaped because you asked and he's been waiting on you. Look at the power. I I want you to realize how much power and authority you have. Let's go back to the Old Testament and look at what God said about unity here in one accord. Let's remember this is um this is where Nimrod was building a tower before the Lord. Genesis 10:5-6. But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said indeed the people are one and they all have one language and this is what they begin to do. Now, nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Oh my goodness, that's awesome. You guys have to understand when you get into the presence of God, you're the power. You're the authority with the name of Jesus. Our government is not in charge. The police aren't in charge. You should be righteously angry right now because the devil came in and hasn't taught you or has deceived you in such a way to make you feel like you're a nobody, like you mean nothing, like you can't do anything. Well, I'm here to tell you under the boldness and the confidence of the Holy Spirit that you've got so much power that the moment you go into your secret place and you ask God to change our government, he will. the moment you go into it and he will manifest himself and he will make things happen or he may even come back says you know what this is my plan leave this alone let's concentrate on this let's focus on this this is that relationship that you begin to have with the holy one and in unity and in one accord that is absolutely incredible and I want you to understand that God never tires ers never wearies of you. In fact, he's going to keep giving you strength. Look at the scripture. Let's go there. Isaiah 40 28 through31. We just heard uh Dr. Dora share this today at Bundy Canyon Christian Church. She used the scripture. Look at this. Have you not known? Have you not heard the everlasting God, the Lord, the creator of the ends of the earth? By the way, that's who you're in unity with. You put on the Christ, the mind like Christ. You come into unity with him. This is him. He's the everlasting God. He's the Lord. He's the creator of the ends of the earth. He never fails. He doesn't faint. He never is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak and to those who have no might. He increases strength. Even the youth shall faint and be weary. And the young men shall utterly fall because that's our flesh. Our flesh is last to come into unity. It faints. It falls short of the glory of God. But God, look what he does. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. You go into a congregation, your wings should be extending out and should be touching the other wings in the sanctuary. And you should not be weary. You should not be tired. And if you are feeling that way, you have to put on the mind of Christ. You have to take that action and come into unity with God. Even if you have to just say it, it you're tired. You want to say you're tired. No, Lord. You know what? I'm in you. You're my strength. I give you the glory and the honor. Oh, how powerful. And then you come walking in not weary, not faint. You come in with the authority, the fire of the Holy Spirit, and it comes out of you. People know it, sense it, and they want you to pray for them. They want to repent. They want to give God the glory. And you're there to help them do it. Oh my goodness. Hallelujah. And you know what? God built this into creation. I'm going to show you a little revelation here that I think is so awesome. The Lord just showed this to me the other night. Watch this. This is in Genesis 2 10-14. Says, "Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden and from there it parted and became four riverheads. The name of the first is Bishon. It is the one who which skirts the whole land of Havala where there is gold and the gold of that land is good. Delium and Onyx stone are there. The name of the second river is Guehon. It is the one which goes around the whole land of Kush. The name of the third river is Hiddakel. It is the one which goes toward the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates. Now watch this. Oh my goodness. God is so good. I just love him. When you grab on to unity with God, there's God the Father, there's God the Son, and there's God Jesus the Holy Spirit. And then there's Lisa or you. You put your name in there and there's four of you. Now notice, look at what he said here. A river went out of Eden to water the garden. So Eden is the very first city that ever existed on the earth. And God built a garden there called the garden of Eden. And he placed Adam there. And this river came through Eden. One river, one body of water came into Eden, watered Eden. Eden is the place you come in to unity with God because all four of you are there as one. Are you catching this? Notice what he said afterwards though. He said, "And from there it parted and became four river heads." Now, I want you to see something else here. So awesome, so amazing. The four of you go forward into the areas that God has called you to go into. God does his part. The Son does his part. The Holy Spirit does his part. We do our part. Now, notice it talked about the gold. When we go into ministry for Christ and we choose put on the mind of Christ, we choose to enter into this and we decide to walk forward to share the good news and to bring out men to be disciples. We generate gold that cannot be burned when we go to judgment. Let's go look at the scriptures. 1 Corinthians 3:9. Let's start there. For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field. You are God's building. I wanted to include that because I want you to understand when you come into unity, you submit. Humble yourself before God. And whatever his plan is, you go forward to promote it, to support it, to live it. You're that. Look at what did he call you? You are God's field. You are God's building. The people will come to you. You can be out on the street. They don't even know what's going on. All they know is the Holy Spirit's nudging them. And it's going to be something you say that's going to cause them to believe. Oh, fire of tongues. Oh my goodness. Let's continue on. Verse 12. Now, if anyone builds on this foundation, look at this. with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw. Each one's work will become clear, for the day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test each one's work of what sword it is. If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss. but he himself will be saved. Yet so as through fire. Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy which temple you are. So whatever ministry you are in, God is going to burn it with the fire of the Holy Spirit. And it's going to burn. It's going to hurt. But if you're doing it for gold under the unified relationship of God the Father, the mind of Christ, and the Holy Spirit, the gold will not dissipate. It will still be there after it's gone through the purification of the fire from the Holy Spirit. If you're doing something though that's one foot in the world, one foot in Christ, and you you got some straw going, a hay going, it's going to burn, and you're going to lose everything. That is the way this works. This is now not salvation. This is making the decision to live in unity with God and to move forward under his guidance, under his direction. This is where the grace of God comes in now because it is a perfect free gift that you get to receive. You don't have to do anything. You don't have to work for it. Is free. But when you encounter a grace like that where all of a sudden you know you see it takes a knowledge you know that you said Jesus is the son of God. You said Jesus I messed up and you said Jesus if I believe and I'm talking to you Jesus because I can't see you. That's me believing. You said I will be saved. That salvation then grows and it comes into now I'm going to wear the Christ the mind of Christ. You're going to mature and you're going to realize I want to be with God because it is the better place and it's going to affect my eternity. But at the same time, this love starts to grow in you. You change, you transform. And this love says, "I got to get people saved. Oh Lord, how do I minister to them?" I sit here every night in my little time with the Lord and I ask him, "How can I express my word? How can I express your word through my mouth and share to help people re realize and believe the importance of walking with God? You can't have one foot in the world and one in God. You're saved, but you're going to burn and it's going to hurt. You're saved, but you burn and it hurts cuz all the straw, all the hate, by the way, that ignites the fire even more. That's how it burns even more. God is shaking the Christian faith, the church. He is showing us the better way. Not through the law, not through rules and regulation, but through a new wine, through his anointing, Holy Spirit. So that that fire burns up through us, comes out of us, and we know, we know, we know, we know that we've grabbed on to God. He knows my name and I know his name and I know exactly where I need to go, where I need to be and I know the will of God for me. In my case, it is to teach and preach the word of God. In your case, it could be a simple smile. It could be just showing love. It could be just feeding them with food and hunger. It could be just being the perfect housewife or mother. Whatever it may be that the Lord has called you to be, you stand. Stand and let the fire come out of you. Let it burn. Let it get rid of the junk. It hurts, but let it change in here so that you're walking in the grace of God, in unity with God. Imagine you have that authority to say the name of Jesus. That should make you shake and tremble. That should make you go, "What am I doing?" Lord, why am I not so focused on you, Lord? I need you to be Lord of my life. Lord, I need you to heal and take care of this this body because this body is dragging behind me. Lord, I need you to be Lord over my body. Lord over my spirit. Lord over my heart, over my mind. Lord, I put the mind of Christ on. I grab hold of your hands and I come together with you in unity and I submit and humble myself to you and your will. Your Lord of my life, you take me where you plan to put me. And I promise you, he will move you in ways that you never even thought you could be or do or anything. I I never thought I could actually be. I always knew I'd be a preacher or teacher one day, but I never realized how much of the anointing of the Holy Spirit I would get in with and how much more there was here. In fact, it was such a humbling experience that I just wanted to back off and say, "I I'm not worthy enough to share your word." But God He says, "You're my daughter. That's my God." He says, "I will put my word in your mouth and it will go forth and it will not return void. That's my God. And I stand in unity with him. I may not understand everything about him. I may not understand all the mysteries of the world. But the one thing I do understand is that he forgave me of my sins and that he is asking me to put on the mind of Christ and to walk in that. Oh, hallelujah. What a powerful word of God. Amen. Let's pray together. Say this prayer with me. We're going to repent and we're going to turn our lives around and we're going to ask God to put the mind of Christ on us. Dear Jesus, dear Jesus, I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I ask you to help me put my hand in your hand. I ask you to be lord of my mind. I I ask you to help me pick up the mind of Christ and to put it on. I ask you to help me survive the burning of the fire, not just for salvation, but for the riches of the gold and what else you have for us in eternity. Lord, it is more important to me that you move forward and I'm just here to tag along. Thank you for your mercy. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for your wisdom. Thank you for your knowledge. Let me walk in those with you in the name of Jesus. Amen. Wow. I am honored and blessed. God bless you and I will see you in the next message. Amen. Bye. Previous Next Home

GOD'S COVENANT AND RESTORATION To teach believers the unshakable nature of God’s covenant and promises, using Psalm 89 as the foundation, and to lead them into personal repentance, renewal, and restoration through prayer and alignment with God’s Word. < Back GOD'S COVENANT AND RESTORATION Minister Lisa Kane September 23, 2023 Objective: To teach believers the unshakable nature of God’s covenant and promises, using Psalm 89 as the foundation, and to lead them into personal repentance, renewal, and restoration through prayer and alignment with God’s Word. Synopsis: In God’s Covenant and Restoration, Lisa Kane expounds on the eternal faithfulness of God’s promises, drawing from Psalm 89 and the life of King David. She emphasizes that God’s covenant is firm, His mercy everlasting, and His strength sufficient to uphold His people even in times of difficulty. The message explores David’s anointing as king, showing how God established, strengthened, and protected him, and how the same principles apply to believers today who are called into various forms of ministry. Lisa highlights that each believer has a unique calling, and stepping into that calling requires repentance, surrender, and reliance on the Holy Spirit. She teaches that God’s covenant brings blessing, protection, provision, and authority over the enemy, but disobedience and drifting from His ways open doors to discipline and loss of blessing. Still, even when believers falter, God’s faithfulness and mercy remain steadfast, offering restoration to those who repent and return to Him. The message concludes with a powerful intercessory prayer of repentance, renunciation, and declaration of freedom in Christ. Through this prayer, listeners are invited to realign with God’s covenant, break generational curses, and walk in renewed relationship and authority, fully restored in His mercy and promises. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. Welcome. This message is called God's Covenant and Restoration. Amen. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your covenant, your promises. You are perfect. You keep everything firm and strong. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Father God, that you are in control and you are doing the right thing, Father God. Lord, may we line up with you and um be restored that you promised us, Father God, in the glorious name of Jesus. Thank you, Father God. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture here. This is God's covenant and restoration. Psalm 89:28. My mercy I will keep for him forever and my covenant shall stand firm with him. What we're going to do in this message is something a little bit different. So I'm going to be teaching on God's covenant and his promises and how firm they are and faithful. This is Psalm 89 has to do with King David and what he does with his heritage, his lineage. And so what we're going to do is we're going to apply that to our lives because scripture does apply to our lives. And the way we're going to do that is through prayer. So I'm probably going to teach here for maybe about 25 to 30 minutes and then we're going to say this prayer together. It is uh an intercessor's prayer, but it does help with us first because it helps us line up and then we can intercede for those around us. Amen. So that's what we're going to do. This is a message that I believe is going to change you and I hope that you apply it to your life. So we're going to focus a lot in Psalm 89. So let's start here in verse 19 and 20. Then you spoke in a vision to your holy one and said, "I have given help to one who is mighty. I have exalted one chosen from the people. I have found my I have found my servant David with my holy oil. I have anointed him." David became king of Israel and he had a heart uh he was the apple of God's eyes and yes he had a a heart for the Lord and the Lord chose him to be king. So in order for him to be king he had to become anointed with oil. So let's go read what happened for him to get anointed with oil. 1st Samuel 16:1 Now the Lord said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill your horn with oil and go. I am sending you to Jesse the Bethleamite, for I provided myself a king among his sons. Then, and then jump down to verse 13. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. And the spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Rama. So what happened here? What is happening here is God is calling David to be king over his people. So this is a calling on David's life. Each of us have callings in our lives. Um we could be in children's ministry. We could be an usher at a church service. We could handle um the administration part of a church. We're all in ministry one way or another. Whether you even go to a regular 8-to-five job that's non-church related, your interaction with people, your smiles, your your tone, behavior, your attitude, all of that plays a role into how you share your testimony because people can sense whether you are a believer or not. So you go into ministry. Well, how does as you see, David is called here and the first thing that he does is he gets anointed with oil. So I am speaking to believers here today in this message. If you are not a believer, repent, call on God and become a believer. And I highly recommend it because it changes you. And this message will change even the we can take the the believer that barely goes to church once a year to the believer who goes to church regularly and is involved heavily in the church. This message is going to strengthen your relationship with the Lord because it's not a religion. We are not a part of a religion. We are part of a relationship with God. And that relationship is about to get more then you're going to really really be blessed by this message. So in order to start first, you know, you have to repent and you have to call on Jesus. Get his mercy. Say, "Father God, I'm sorry I messed up." Once we acknowledge that we're we messed up, for lack of a better way of saying it at the moment, I can't think of another way to say it. But once we realize that and we humble ourselves and we ask God to forgive us, the next thing is to get water baptized. And after you get water baptized, the spirit of the Lord comes upon you. Well, in this case, David, the Old Testament way was the anointing oil allowed the spirit of the Lord to come upon him. So now, if you want to move into a calling that you believe the Lord is calling you to, one, you can go to the elders. They can anoint you with oil and pray over you. And the elders at the church, you can go there. Or you can even in your own personal relationship with the Lord, in your own secret place with the Lord, get your anointing oil out. You can buy it online, pray over it, anoint it, and then anoint yourself and say, "This is my calling that I believe the Lord has for me." And you set things in motion spiritually when you do this. So this is what happened to David. David became king of Israel. And it started with the anointing of the Lord. And from this day forward, the spirit of the Lord is upon him. Now, the reason I showed you Samuel because I wanted you to see the physical, the prophet Samuel actually came and put oil on David. So, this is why we put oil on ourselves and you get covered with the anointing oil. It allows the spirit of the Lord to come in and work on you. So, that's the first thing we got to do. So, we establish this foundation. So, now let's continue in Psalm 89 because I want you to see something. here is really really interesting. With whom my hand shall be established also my arm shall strengthen him. Let's pause there for just a moment. God, his hand is the one that's establishing David. His hand is the one that establishes you and I in ministry. Do you get that? Look at what else he says. He says his arm shall strengthen him. meaning we can lean on his arm and he'll hold us up because there are gonna be times when you're in ministry where it is very hard and is strong. It's like your opposition is just coming against you and sometimes you just can't even stand. If you go read the Psalms and read David, you will find there are times where he just had to get down on his knees and say, "Lord," and he cried out to the Lord. Well, God's arm was holding him up the whole time and so was his hand because his hand had established him. So, this is firm. So, once you get into ministry and you go forth at the after the anointing oil or the water baptism, whatever you end up going into ministry with, know this. God's hand established you and his arm is holding you up. You need to believe this. Look what else he says. And look what else he's done. If you go read King David's life, 1 Samuel, beginning of 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles, beginning of 2 Chronicles, you will see God moving in David's life and you can see the whole changes that take place in his life because God had established him. But look at the second part of this or verse 22. The enemy shall not outwit him nor the son of wickedness afflict him. So when you go read about David and you read about all the oppositions he faced, they never outwitted him. David knew exactly what to do at all times because God gave him the wisdom, God's wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for David to handle the situation. So when you go into ministry, you are going to outwit the enemy. You're going to be thinking outside the box and doing things that God's going to tell you, the Holy Spirit's going to tell you. You're going to be thinking, "Wow, this is awesome." Because he's given this to you. And did you see wickedness will not afflict him? You will not be afflicted by the enemy. What does the enemy do to afflict someone? Takes your way your finances. God provides. Go uh look at Elijah. Even the crows came and fed him because he needed to eat. And God's like, "I'm going to give you food." You see, he was not afflicted because God still provided for him. So, he takes your finances away. Guess what? God still provides. He tells people, "Hey, you need to go get a bag of groceries for that person over there." And I promise you, God always provides. So, he keeps you from getting afflicted. What about sickness? The sickness will not touch you. Was King David ever sick? I don't read that in scriptures and I've not read that and I've read all through that. So, you shouldn't be sick when you're in ministry. Watch how the Lord shows us where we can go into this new ministry, whatever it may be, whether children's church, teaching behind a pulpit, singing worship songs, you should never get sick. Never. Why? Because you have taken his calling in your life and you move forward in your relationship with the Lord. David had a relationship and God called him to be king. You have a relationship God calls you to be. You fill in the blank. And once you fill that in and you move forward in that, it begins you begin to have a relationship with God. And I've been teaching on relationship with God for a long time now. Let's continue on in verse 23. Look at what else God does. I will beat down his foes before his face and plague those who hate him. So now people hate you. They hate you for being successful, for looking so good and being to them. They get jealous and envious of anyone who has a beautiful calling on the your life from God. They get jealous of that. And what happens is God, look what he says here, beats down his foes. Because see, when they get jealous, they say things they shouldn't say. And when they say them, they curse you. But God says, "Nope, I'm going to In other words, those curses are going to come back beat down. They're going to feel the crushing pressure of God, not Satan, of God. Because now you're messing with God's anointed. Never, never mess with God's anointed. If you see somebody who is beautiful, who is supporting Israel, Jerusalem, who is giving God the glory and all that they do, and they acknowledge God and everything, that's somebody who's anointed by God, do not mess with them. Do not curse them. Don't say anything bad about them. God's coverings on them and he will beat you down. And he says it right here in scriptures. Look at that. I will beat down. That's God talking. Because you become a foe or an enemy against his anointed. Now, let's continue on and plague those who hate him. Guess who gets sick? If you've been sick, I promise you it has to do with some sort of sin, some sort of unforgiveness, something you said against God's anointed somewhere along the road of life. You may not have actually meant it. You may not even remember it, but God does. And hence, you get sick. So keep that in mind. If you're getting sick, you should you it should be telltale signs to you. This isn't a bad thing. You know, I got spanked when I was growing up. It's not a bad thing to spank your children. Why? Because they get to learn respect. And it goes to show how much my parents loved me to keep me from going around and doing things I shouldn't have been doing. They keep me safe. And that that action of discipline, thy rod, thy staff, they comfort me. David said this of God. He was comforted when he was disciplined. I am comforted when I am disciplined. So if I get sick, h that's a reminder. Okay, I know in the back of my mind I need to do what? Time to repent. Time to start talking to God again. Time to get back in. Because we're humans. We are flesh. And what do we do? We forget. We we separate ourselves. We get caught up in the world, the busyiness of the world. Oh, and it it gets frustrating. I understand that. But we got to remember, we got to put that effort forward. Look at verse 24. This is now God saying, "But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him, and in my name his horn shall be exalted." You see, when God exalts somebody, he's doing it through himself. God is saying, "Okay, Jesus, you are my son, my beloved. I love you." and he tells the people around him, "Listen to him." And he he set up the hierarchy. So he lifts up his son Jesus. Well, he lifts up David and he's saying, "I'm doing it through my own name because he honored David for David honoring him." God is a God of honor. Oh, so God will honor you. what you do in secret behind the scenes, having that relationship with God, he exposes out in the open and he honors you. David was very honored in his walk even though he killed someone on purpose. David was a murderer. Yeah. We It's time to get our lives set up with God because when we're in this relationship with him and we've taken this step, Yeah. this is what we do. We get blessed by him. He is protecting us. He's holding us up. Look at verse 25. Also, I will set his hand over the sea and his right hand over the rivers. What does that mean? Well, if you go look at the ocean, can you see underwater? No. The ocean, especially in the deeper parts, it's very dark down there. In fact, that is Satan's domain. That's where he reigns. He sits on the waters in the world over the oceans and the rivers. But look what God says he does to the people that choose to come in and be his anointed. Watch this. Watch this. He says, "I will set his hand over the sea and his right hand over the rivers. You have dominion over Satan and the demons." Again, you should never be sick. You should be the one casting out demons. You should be the one ministering to people because that is your calling and this is where God is taking us and we need more people doing things like this. Look what else. Now he shall cry to me. Now he's saying David's going to cry to me. You are my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. You know, when I'm in intercessory prayer here in my secret place in this room, I'm always Lord God, you are my God, my King, my Lord, and my Savior. You belong to me and I belong to you. He is my rock and my salvation. He is the son of God. He is my Lord and Savior. I declare the name of Jesus over everything about me because I cry to him because this is my calling to teach and preach the word of God to intercede in prayer. These are the callings I have in my life. I've been anointed. And because I've been anointed with the oil and I've been approved by God to do this, I push in and begin to have this relationship with God and I cry to him. I let him know what's going on. I say God, I say Jesus, the name of Jesus shall save. Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13, Joel 2:32. Look at verse 27. And also I will make him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. David really, really got blessed here. Jesus is king and will be king after he comes back and returns. But he came first as priest, not as king. But he came through the lineage of David. But David is his the first king. Even though King Saul was there, God chose David. And this is his firstborn. Guess what? We are adopted and grafted into the lineage of David. Into the lineage of Jesus. Jesus comes from David. We are part of being the firstborn. We are part of being the one who has been called. We just like the disciples, just like the apostles in the old church, how they were ministering people, casting out demons, healing people. We should be doing the same thing today. And you know what? Because of this teaching and the things that are going on, the Lord's getting everything ready for this part. So get ready because when we say this prayer here at the end, this is preparing us for his return and the revival that is coming. Amen. Verse 28. My mercy I will keep for him forever and my covenant shall stand firm with him. This is that was our opening scripture. I want you to see something here. My mercy, let's read that again. My mercy I will keep for him forever. You know, God is so full of mercy and loving kindness and he is telling David's line, I will always have mercy on you and every one of us who are grafted and adopted in there is nothing bad that you can do that God cannot forgive. He will have his mercy for you forever. Oh, that's powerful. Powerful. and my covenant shall stand firm with him. God does not waver once he speaks. His word is true. And we're going to see that in a moment here how it stays. He says his seed also I will make to endure forever and his throne as the days of heaven. Jesus is going to be king and it's going to be eternity. We're going to be in heaven in eternity forever with God and with Jesus. This is awesome. God is not removing the covenant. Now watch. Let's go here. Now, now we're going to start to see something here. God is giving a rule to this. And it's a rule. This rule applies to us as well. Says in verse 30, if his sons, okay, we're adopted and grafted in because we believe the I'm talking to believers now. So think of this, believers. If his sons forsake my law, or if believers forsake my law, and do not walk in my judgment, if they break my statutes and do not keep my commandments, then I will punish their transgression with the rod and their iniquity with stripes. Now, I want you to see something here is awesome. You notice he said he said he'll do it with the rod. That's discipline. Meaning, you're the believer. You're in covenant with God. You drifted away. I'm going to use the rod and bring you back. He's telling you straight up, if you're not going to keep my commandments, what is his commandments? To love with all your heart, soul, and mind. Love God or love your neighbor as you do yourself. So when you drift, he says, I will punish your transgression with the rod. Look at this. And your iniquity or their iniquity with stripes. Who took the stripes for us? So he's saying, look at this. This is awesome. He's saying, "I'm going to send Jesus and he's going to take the iniquity when you drift away and he's going to take it with his stripes." Meaning, you were healed by his stripes. So, even though you should be punished with iniquity, guess what? God sent his son Jesus to take it. So, when you're in covenant and you are part of God's anointing, you are never sick because Jesus handled it, took care of it. You just got to come and say, "Jesus, you are the son of God and I messed up." That's it. Oh, that's so powerful. Do you see how God is saying this about his covenant? All the kings of Israel, all they had to do was repent and come back and they were well established. God's promise would be firm. Let's continue because there is but right here there is a nevertheless in verse 33. Nevertheless, my loving kindness I will not utterly take for him. You see, we know what happens with the kings. We know what happens with Israel. Go read all of their first Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles. Go read all the prophets and they will be sharing with you what the kings are doing, how evil these kings are, many of them are. And that they were dispersed to the world and was no longer considered a nation. But God restores. His covenant stands. And the nation of Israel came back in 1948. If he can restore the nation of Israel, he can restore you. Do you see why I'm teaching this message? Oh, wait till we get to the prayer. We start restoring ourselves. But he says, "Nevertheless, my loving kindness, I will not utterly take from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail." You see, this is all about God and his faithfulness. He's got faith in Israel. He's got faith in us. So when I'm casting out demons or I'm dealing with some sort of sickness because he's having to discipline me and bring me back. Guess what? It is his faithfulness. I don't my faith may not be that big to take it over and overcome it and walk out of it. You know when he say uh pick up your mat and walk and be healed. You know, the disciples said that, Jesus said that. They got up and it and even Jesus says, "Your faith has made you whole, made you healed." Guess what though? God is saying, "My faithfulness will do this because you've already been in covenant." And he is now trying to bring you back. Oh, this is so good. Look at this. Verse 34. My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out on my lips. So you see, he knows already the kingdom is going to fail, but he says, "No, I'm not reversing my words. My words still stand." Then he says, "Once I've sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David." So he's telling David what's going to happen, what's going on. And he says to David, "His seat shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me, it shall be established forever like the moon, even like the faithful witness in the sky. who it will be on the throne forever that we get to worship is Jesus the son of God. Oh hallelujah. Hallelujah. So now you're beginning to see what the Lord is doing. Now look at though because see in covenant with God and if we forget or we get mad because we've been made in his image and God has gotten mad, we can get mad too. So, if we're lacking self-control and we're lacking the holiness of the Holy Spirit, well, look at what he says here in verse 38. But you have cast off and abhored. You have been furious with your anointed. God gets mad with his anointed. And until you repent, he is mad. And look at this. He's cast you off and he abhores you. You see, he's got his loving kindness. He's got his mercy there. He's telling you, "Come on. I'm sending you iniquity after iniquity. I'm sending you the rod. I'm disciplining you, but you're not listening. You're not repenting. You're not returning." And then what happens? The church dies. The spirit is not there. There's sickness and diseases. People are dying in the church when they should not be dying. God is saying, "I'm telling you, I'm furious with you. You are my anointed." It's not just David. It's us who are grafted in. We're his anointed and he's mad. Look at verse 39. But okay, so look at this. You, this is God talking, have renounced the covenant of your servant. He took the covenant back. Did you see that? Watch. You have profaneed his crown by casting it into the ground. Basically, God took your crown off and he slammed it to the ground because you are not repenting, renouncing yourself. You are not turning back and getting into the relationship with God. He is doing this to you. You see, most of our time, we don't really deal with the devil. We deal with ourselves for cursing ourselves and not speaking the blessings. And then we live, we deal with God and his curses. You see, when you're an anointed person, you've been going to church and you've been with God and you've been in that personal relationship with him. You should be in his standing and fully healed completely. This is your call. This is a promise, a covenant he's given to you. But when you break the covenant because you got him furious and he abhores you, it takes See, you have to separate yourself from the world. You've got to get back in with the Holy Spirit. You got to start again. Start fresh and again. Look at verse 40. You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin. You're no longer protected. Now you know why you're getting sick. Now you know why you do not have financial blessings in your life. It's like a hole in your pocket. The money keeps flowing through. God's done this. It's not the devil. God's done this. He did this because you're not aligning yourself with his covenant. We're going to do that here very shortly. Trying to keep an eye on the time here. And then look at he says, "All who pass by the way plunder him. He is reproached to his neighbors." So going to plunder you. So that's why I said it's like a hole in your pocket. People coming by are going to be taking money from you and you're wondering why you have no money. Well, that's why. Look at this. You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries. Now he's promoting the enemy saying, "Go for it. You you got my blessings to go after him or her because you're not doing what he asked you. You're not honoring his commandments. Love him with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul. These are what he's calling you to do. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. If you're holding on to unforgiveness, bitterness, envy, jealousy, any of this kind of stuff, you are not in his commandments. And you now are being blessed. The adversaries are being blessed to come after you. Oh, and take what you have. They'll take your home. They'll take your money. Why do we have so many homeless people? They don't forgive. They don't let go. They don't come back to God. They don't repent. They don't renounce. We need more renouncing here in the church and in the congregation and in the people's hearts and minds. We got to teach this. Look at this. You made all his enemies rejoice. You know what? When 911 happened, the towers came down. Who was rejoicing? Those in the Middle East. The enemy. They were very happy. Happy as a clam. God blessed that. God allowed it to happen because the nation now he was warning the nation here is I'm letting you know this is what's happening. I'm getting the rod now but you're not coming back to me. So he sends the adversary to come after you. This is now why the nation is in the condition it's in. But the church doesn't need to be this way. Even though we're under America's covering, we're under God's covenant covering covenant. And that's what we should be standing with and repenting and renouncing. Uh also, okay, verse 43. You have also turned back the edge of a sword and have not sustained him in battle. This is what I'm talking about. This is why 911 happened. Look at this. You have made his glory cease and cast his throne to the ground. The days of his youth, you have shortened. You have covered him with shame. That's the condition of America right now. So you can apply this to America. You can apply this to the church. You can apply anyone who's been with God but got taught a false teaching, got misled, and you're just not going back to God and repenting. This is what happens to you. This is why it happens. A lot of people don't understand why things like this happen. The scriptures just told us. Look at 2 Corinthians 4:1 and2. Therefore, since we had this ministry or calling, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart, but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. And there Paul sums it up what we've been teaching on. This is very, very powerful. We want to get back. So, to get back now to our covenant with God, we need to repent and renounce. So, we're going to say this prayer. I'm This is a prayer. I've got several screens here. We're just going to go through them and say them together. I'm going to say them slow. If you need to pause the video because you might be struggling saying something, and that's possible, but say the prayers, say them out loud. If you need to say them again, you say them again. And you come before the Lord and you humble yourself before the Lord. And I promise you, you saw his hand establishes you. You see his arm holding you. You see him keep the enemy away from you. You see how iniquity is dealt with. You will have all that back when you do this. And then you can also now minister in your ministry appropriately and effectively. Amen. Now, this prayer is copied from the intercessors manual under the books and manual at the houseof faithministries.org. So, you can get the whole manual there. Lots of more scriptures. Pastor Marcos Morero, my dad, he's the one who wrote that back in 2010, but it is still effective because you're dealing with spiritual matters. Let's begin. This is the prayer. Our Father who are in heaven, creator of heaven and earth, make sure you're saying this with me, okay? God, the judge of all, in the name of Jesus, your only son, I enter into your heavenly court and publicly repent of all my sins and I ask you for your forgiveness in the name of Jesus. Apply. Dear Lord, I pray the atoning blood of Jesus over all the sins in my life and the sins in my ancestors lives life that resulted in a curse. I repent of all of our disobediences and rebellions committed against your word. I now repent and re and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestors life such as the sins of perversion, lust, cheating, lying, adultery, fornication, mistreatment of others, uncleanness, filthiness, wantonness, lwdness, and every perverted thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I have that on there. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestors life such as the sins of indecision, compromise, hatred, contentions, envy, gossip, murder, hostility towards others, hostilities towards myself, ill will towards others, ill will towards myself and every divisive thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins of my life and my ancestors life such as the sins of malfunction, failures, laziness, lack of responsibility, jealousies, outburst of wrath, drunkenness, intoxication, addictions, dependencies and every compromising thing that was connected to our fallen nature. According to one John 1:9, if we confess our sins, continue to say this with me, please. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Now that I confessed all my sins, I ask for your forgiveness and cleansing from all my unrighteousness and the unrighteousness passed to me through the iniquity of all my ancestors. Deliver me, Lord, and cleanse me by the power of the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I now take authority over the devil's accusations against me in accordance with the word of God. I break and condemn any and every curse upon my life in the name of Jesus. I break all curses of poverty, lack, debt, destruction, sickness, death, and vagabond. I break all curses on my marriage, family, children, and relationships. I break curses of rejection, pride, rebellion, lust, hurt, incest, rape. Ahab, Jezebel, fear, insanity, madness, and confusion. The name that is above every name. The name of Jesus. I now break all curses affecting my finances, my mind, my sexual character, my emotions, my will, my intellect, and all my relationships. In the name of Jesus, I now break every hex, jinx, spell, and spoken curse over my life and my family's life. I break every feeder, shackle, chain, cord, habit, and cycle that is the result of a curse. According to Galatians 3:13, continue to say this with me, please. I have been redeemed from the curse of the law by the sacrifice that Jesus offered in my behalf. Father in heaven, I now exercise my faith in the blood that Jesus offered for my redemption and I loose myself and my descendants from any and every curse. I claim forgiveness through the blood that Jesus offered for my sins and the sins of my fathers. All of my sins have been forgiven. So I now renounce all the works of Satan and their effect over my life and my family's lives. And I loose myself from every curse that As a result of our disobedience and rebellion to the word of God, I exercise my faith now in the word of God. Romans 10:9 and 10. And I make confession with my mouth that the salvation, deliverance, healing, and restoration that I believe in my heart is now mine because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Therefore, I confess that Abraham's blessings are mine. I confess that I am blessed and not cursed. I confess that I am the head and not the tail. I confess that I am above and not beneath. I confess that I am blessed coming in and going out. I confess that I am blessed by God and what God has blessed cannot be cursed in the name of Jesus and by the power of his shed blood. I now command spirits of rejection, hurt, bitterness, unforgiveness, bondage, torment, death, destruction, suicide, fear, lust, perversion, mind control, witchcraft, poverty, lack, debt, confusion, doublemindedness, sickness, infirmity, pain, divorce, separation, strife, contention, depression, sadness, loneliness, self-pity, self-destruction, self-rejection, anger, rage, wrath, anguish, vagabon, abuse, addiction, insanity, and the rest to come out now in the name of Jesus, my deliverer, and be forever gone because all of your rights to torment me and my family has now been removed. WONDERS OF HEAVEN PART II Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of Wonders of Heaven Part II is to bridge biblical revelation with modern scientific discovery, highlighting the eternal nature of the unseen spiritual realm compared to the temporal decay of the physical universe. Pastor Marcos seeks to deepen believers’ understanding of heaven, angels, and eternity by showing how Scripture and science both point to the reality of dimensions beyond our own. Ultimately, the message encourages believers to place their faith in the eternal promises of God rather than the fleeting reality of the physical world. Synopsis: In Wonders of Heaven Part II, Pastor Marcos explores the biblical teaching of unseen eternal realities in light of modern science. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 4:18, he contrasts the temporary, decaying nature of the physical world with the eternal, transcendent nature of the spiritual dimension. Scientific insights into quantum mechanics and subatomic particles are shown to affirm biblical truths about realities beyond time and space. The teaching examines the differences between humanity and angels, emphasizing that angels, as eternal energy beings, operate in the fourth dimension—outside of time as we know it. Scriptural accounts illustrate how angels interact with the physical world under divine protocols. Unlike angels, humans are bound to mortality because life is sustained through corruptible blood. Yet God has given humanity a unique advantage: the present moment (“Today”), where faith and obedience can shape eternal destiny. Unlike angels, who in their rebellion fell irredeemably, humans in this temporal realm have the hope of redemption through Christ. Pastor Marcos explains that death is the threshold into eternity, where faithful believers will inherit glorified, resurrected bodies—sustained not by blood but by the eternal Word of God. He portrays this as the greatest wonder of creation: humanity transformed to dwell eternally in the presence of God. The culmination of history will reveal Christ in His glorified body, bringing joy to believers but judgment to those who rejected Him. This vision of eternity challenges believers to look beyond the fleeting physical world and anchor their hope in the unseen, eternal reality of God’s kingdom. Inspired Teaching: 2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we do not look at the things which are seen (physical things), but at the things which are not seen (spiritual things). For the things which are seen are temporary (bound to decay), but the things which are not seen are eternal (transcend time and space).” Our modern day science has finally discovered what the Bible has been teaching since the book of Genesis, and that is, that all physical, or a better word might be, all tangible matter, exists on a three dimensional realm that is entangled in a web called entropy, a death spiral that affects all things which can be measured and exist in the present tense. They’ve also discovered that the atomic particles of which all tangible matter is comprised of, that they are eternal, in other words, all sub-atomic particles transcend time and space. They are not bound to the present tense, for quantum mechanics proves that these sub-atomic particles can be in two places at the same time, we know they do so but we cannot witness it because we are stuck in a present perspective that allows us to see them only in one place at a time. Psalm 95:7 “...Today, if you will hear His voice.” Hebrews 4:7 “Again He designates a certain day, saying in David, ‘Today,’ (the present) after such a long time…” So that all tangible creatures, along with the tangible creation, reside in a three dimensional realm that is locked in its present state of decay that limits its interaction with the invisible eternally made things. Yet the apostle Paul compels us not to look at the tangible things which are seen, but rather look at the things which are not seen, the spiritual things which cannot be measure, for they are eternal. They may not even know it, but science has proved that there is a four dimensional realm where the intangible resides and transcends time and space, sounds like a pretty good description of heaven to me. Jude 6 “And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.” Jude tells us that the four-dimensional realm is the abode or habitation of the angels, and that they were capable, at one time, and left that four-dimensional realm and interfered with our three-dimensional realm of the present, and that because of such violation those trespassing angels are now bound by everlasting chains, everlasting because they are four dimensional, eternal creatures, awaiting their final judgment. 1 Corinthians 13:1 “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels…” We also know from Paul’s statement to the Corinthian church that the angels have their own language, a spiritual language that its spoken in the angelic realm, which means that intelligent creature's dwell in that four-dimensional realm. Hold the presses, the search for extraterrestrial life is over, we found them, and we know where they live! Kidding aside, environmentally speaking, what are the basic differences between the third and fourth dimensions and their inhabitants? Let’s deal with the creatures first, how do we differ from the angels? 1 Corinthians 15:50 “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. The way that our human bodies process the energy needed to sustain life is in the blood, and it is our blood that has been corrupted and what keeps us from becoming physically eternal, which would mean bodily entering into the fourth dimension. Leviticus 17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood…” Since our physical bodies are formed in a tangible manner to reflect our three dimensional physical environment we were meant to occupy, we can safely assume that the angelic bodies are formed to operate within the environment that they were meant to occupy as well, the invisible and eternal realm of energy or of sub-atomic particles. The angelic realm is comprised of energy creatures who are eternal and exist in eternity, and they are capable of manipulating the energy that forms their invisible bodies into any three dimensional shape or form, but they must follow the heavenly protocol that guides the interactions between the physical and spiritual realms. Hebrews 13:2 “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.” Here we see Paul telling the dispersed Hebrews that by operating in the spirit of brotherly love, some believers have unwittingly allowed angels to enter into their homes, obviously to bring in some kind of heavenly blessing, that they would otherwise not been allowed to impart had not they been invited into their house. Judges 13:20 “It happened as the flame went up toward heaven from the altar—the Angel of the Lord ascended in the flame of the altar! When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell on their faces to the ground.” Samson’s parents after having an encounter with the Angel of the Lord who told them about their future son and how they were to handle her pregnancy, decided to offer up a sacrifice to the Lord, and as they did they marveled as to how the Angel of the Lord entered into the flames of the sacrifice and rode them up into heaven, the invisible realm. Remember that a fire is energy that is being released, so that an energy creature would not have any problems integrating with other forms of energy, specially since the symbolism of the burn-offering sacrifice was to release the three dimensional visible offering into the invisible fourth dimension. Psalm 104:4 “Who makes His angles spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.” Now to the locality, what is the basic difference between the physical and the spiritual dimension? Time! Since time is the fourth dimension, and since we have our own three dimensional concept of time, we fail to put time within its proper perspective. But if we come to realize that we only have one perspective of time, which is the present, and if we view time from its four dimensional entirety, which is past, present, and future, then we can form a better understanding of eternity. Psalm 8:5 “For you have made him (man) a little lower than the angels…” At first glance we would say that being eternal is better than being mortal, so the question must be asked, why did God make us lower than the angels and placed us in an inferior physical realm? Psalm 8:6 “You have made him (man) to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.” Well, according to God we were made lower so that we would become greater, which leads me to ask this question, what advantage then, do we mortals have over those who are already immortal? Time! If being stuck in the present is our greatest disadvantage, then it most also be our greatest advantage to be stuck in Today since it was God who placed us in it to begin with. Psalm 95:7 “...Today, if you will hear His voice.” If I hear His voice Today, what does it mean? What that means is that there is hope for me tomorrow. Which is better, that which has already exhausted all its potentials and is what it is forever? Or that from which its potentials have not been fully tapped yet and can therefore surpass that which is already static? I know that it sounds a little complicated but let me explain. The angelic host were created perfect and placed in a perfect realm, the spiritual realm. They were given free will which gave them the potential to excel but also to rebel, some did rebel, and their rebellion was fatal, since they lived in eternity the minute they sinned they were dammed forever and could not be redeemed. So that for those who fell in that realm there was no future to delivered them from their disobedience. Enter the physical realm, a place where not only mistakes are made, but also a place where faith is perfected, where we can learn to trust today the promises of God for tomorrow. Think of our present reality as an eternal life simulation, where we can learn how to handle all that eternal life has to offer through the auspices of faith, and if we crash or fail at some point, it is not fatal as long as we are still alive, for that will mean that we are still in the qualifying face of our training, since death is the door into the fourth dimension, the eternity into which we all must enter one day. But here is the kicker, flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God, but flesh and bones will. Luke 24:39 “Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me (touch Me) and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” The greatest wonder of all the creation is that the resurrected human physical bodies will be eternally powered, energized, by the Word of the Living God, they will not have any blood in them. The sub-atomic particles that comprised every human creature that ever lived, contained within themselves all of the information that was gathered while that body was alive, those bodies will one they be re-instituted to their original form, those who passed the test of faith, will be made eternally perfect and reunited with the soul that lived in them. This reality will be made visibly to the world before the judgment of God takes place, when the wall of partition between the third physical dimension and the fourth spiritual dimension is removed and the physical glorified body of Jesus Christ is finally revealed for all of us believers to marveled, but it will come full of dreadful fear for those who will be judged because they did not believe the Gospel of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10 “Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.” Previous Next Home

RELEASING THE BLESSINGS The objective of this message is to teach believers the importance of self-control, love, and the power of their words in releasing blessings instead of curses. It encourages Christians to remain within God’s hedge of protection by walking in the Spirit, applying the fruit of the Spirit, and learning to bless others even in difficult circumstances. The ultimate goal is to show how releasing blessings activates God’s favor, shields believers from spiritual attacks, and produces joy and peace in their lives. < Back RELEASING THE BLESSINGS Minister Lisa Kane August 7, 2022 Objective: The objective of this message is to teach believers the importance of self-control, love, and the power of their words in releasing blessings instead of curses. Synopsis: In “Releasing the Blessings” (August 7, 2022), Lisa Kane opens with Luke 6:27–31, where Jesus instructs us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who mistreat us. She highlights how natural human reactions often lean toward retaliation when wronged—whether in personal conflicts, workplace challenges, or even simple road rage. Yet, Christ calls His followers to respond differently, guided by the Spirit rather than the flesh. Through the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13:26–30, Lisa explains that both Christians and non-Christians face trials such as loss, injustice, and hardships. The difference lies in how believers handle them—with peace, faith, and endurance. Using examples from modern life, she illustrates how choosing to bless instead of curse disarms anger and opens the way for God’s blessings to return. Proverbs 18:21 reinforces this principle: life and death are in the power of the tongue. Lisa emphasizes the role of the Holy Spirit in producing self-control and other fruits (Galatians 5:23–26). In the secret place with God, believers can crucify the flesh, align with righteousness, and learn to speak blessings that transform both themselves and others. She reminds us that hatred from the world is often directed at God, not just us, and urges Christians to respond with love and blessing as representatives of Christ. The message closes by affirming God’s promises of protection and favor (Psalm 5:11–12, Isaiah 45:7–8). Lisa encourages believers to be intentional in releasing blessings over people, places, and circumstances, trusting that God has already secured the victory. The prayer at the end invites listeners to repent, receive self-control, and walk in the Spirit, blessing others as a testimony of God’s love. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane. I'm recording this on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Welcome. This message is called Releasing the Blessings. Amen. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this message and we thank you for your blessing upon it. Let it feed our spirits. Let it nourish us. Let us run with it, walk with it, apply it, and let that seed just grow into a beautiful nurtured tree. Thank you, Father God, for giving us the character traits of self-control and to bless your name and to bless to release our blessings. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Thank you, Father God. Amen. All right, let's go to our opening scriptures here. We're going to be looking at Luke chapter 6 verses 27 through31. But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on one's cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods, do not ask them back. and just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. Okay, so we've got a very interesting set of scriptures here that we want to talk about. So what I want to show you is something that has to do with not only a character trait and in a physical sense, meaning somebody slaps you, what do you do when you do when you get slapped? But at the same time, I want to talk about what's in the spiritual part of this because I think the unknown factor might be holding things back for you. So, I want I want to show you some things here. So, one of the things I want you to realize here is, you know, we saw the recent um Will Smith slap on Chris Rock. And Chris, I think, was more shocked than anything and didn't do anything. Okay, I get that. Uh but at the same time, what is the one thing you want to do when somebody hurts you? You want to attack back and hurt them. You want them to hurt as much as they hurt you. So, let's say you're driving, you get cut off by somebody, but that person is oblivious. They have no idea that they cut you off. You want to make sure that they know, but in reality, they'll never know because one, unless you guys confront each other and pull over and deal with it that way, no matter how much you get in front of them, hit your brakes, stop, do whatever you're going to do, they're thinking you're weird because they have no idea what happened. So, there's a disconnect here. But the one thing that is solid is your emotions. Oh, now we're getting somewhere. You know what? H how do you deal with something like that? And and there there's a a a powerful principle here that I want to show you that involves your words that's going to change the dynamics of that kind of stuff attacking you that they're oblivious to but you're not. Oh, this is very, very good. Okay. So, what I want to show you next is some scriptures that's going to make things hopefully a little more open and understanding here. So, watch this. We're we're in Matthew. We're going to read verses 13, chapter 13:es 26-30. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tears also appeared. So, the servants of the owner came and said to him, "Sir, did you not sew good seed in your field? How then does it have tears?" He said to them, "An enemy has done this." The servant said to him, "Do you want us to go and gather them up?" But he said, "No, lest while you gather up the tears, you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, first gather together the tears, and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn." Okay, so here is where things get very interesting. Christians and non-Christians all deal with the same thing. We all deal with loss of life. We all deal with loss of jobs. We all deal with no food. We all deal with high prices, bad economy. We are all dealing with the same situation. Bad bosses, bad co-workers, family members who aren't the best. You deal with these things. and how do you deal with them? So, that's the key here. That's what makes the difference between a Christian and a non-Christian because a Christian is going to deal with it differently. In fact, there's going to be people out there. I mean, look at martyrs. You know, when there were a whole bunch that were being martyed over there in the Middle East just recently, they were singing songs, standing in line, and just walking to their death. It just blows my mind away. I sit there sometimes wondering, "Wow, I hope if I ever face that situation that I can do the honor of doing that." Uh, not all of us are called to be martyrs. But you can only hope that you would have some spirit that just takes hold of you that is like that and you're at peace about the whole thing. And in in an instance, that's what kind of this message is about is grabbing hold of that peace and that joy that when someone cuts you off, Amen. may the Lord bless you. Here's the thing. It comes down to love. And we're going to be talking about the power of the tongue here, but it all comes down to the root of love. And even in the last message, I talked about being in the hedge of protection. Uh, and it came down to the root of love because what Jesus did was love. And he keeps us in there. Now, the door can open and close, and as sheep, we can wander out, but when you wander out, you wander out into territory that is unknown to you. You do not know what the enemy is doing to you out there. So what do you do? You stay within the hedge of protection, which means you give it to God. And that takes a lot of self-control. So I want to elaborate further on that last message I taught and go into this one where we're going to talk about the power of your words. And we're going to speak into that blessing. So here you are dealing with the same thing. You people get cut off all the time. There is road rage that makes the news almost daily. So you you can imagine these people are so upset. They want to hurt you. They want to kill you. They want to do this because that spirit of anger got in them and it raged them, enraged them. They just went nuts. So, what I want to do is I want to teach you how to not let that get a hold of you, but teach you how to have that self-control and how to use your words. Because think of it this way, we already know how the end is going to happen, right? So, we know that revelation is coming. We know that there is a seven-year tribulation period. That's horrible. We do not want anyone to live through that. It is really unfortunate because that's what's going to happen for those that reject Jesus. They're going to be stuck here. They're already going to deal with hell on earth and then an eternity of hell if they don't repent. That's just simple fact of the matter. So in essence, if you stay inside that hedge of protection and let God deal with them, he's got a better fitting punishment for them than anything you could ever do. And that kind of if you put that into your front mind when you're dealing with the situation, that helps you. It helps you deal with the situation because it helps you say, "All right, I got to just bless this person." Because see, when you release a blessing, the blessings come back. Look at the power of the tongue. Look at what happens here. Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." Now, it could be good fruit or bad fruit. Notice it didn't say because it all comes down to death and life how much you want to kill that person. You see, the moment you change it up, the moment you suddenly open up a you open up a door either way, but whether you're going to open up the door for a curse, if you're after them because you want to hurt them as much as you're just going to put more hurt on you, it just comes right back at you. Because God is in control and God loves people and he loves even the ones that make mistakes. That includes you and me. You see how the love of God plays a role in here? So, how do we do this? Because we're angry, we're hurt, we want to hurt these people, but no, we got to let it go. And the moment you bless them, you see what happens is there's a scenario at my work that I'm dealing with right now and I want to go deal with it myself. This is actually one of the reasons why it led to the message of hedge of protection last uh two weeks ago when I taught that message and it really was a very big eye opener because I thought I could deal with the situation myself. But as I got more aware of what was going on, it's just the weirdest things. It it and anytime you have to use the word weird in the situation, it's spiritual always. That's that's a red flag right there. It's a spiritual matter, you know. It has to do with our air conditioning and and we're I mean it's 12:28 here on Sunday, August 7, 2022 and it's 103 degrees outside. When it was 10:00 this morning, it hit 97. I was like, uhoh. So, we got all the fans and air conditioners running right now. So, but at work, you walk into the building and half the building is 10 degrees warmer than the other half. But I'm told adamantly it's working. And then They open the doors to let air in. Why would you do that if it's working? Do you see what I'm saying? So once it dawned on me that I'm dealing with a spiritual matter, now I go into the secret place with the Lord and I start telling on them basically. But what I have learned that if I bless them, you know what's going to happen is that blessing is going to come back on me. It opens the door. So in essence, here's a great example. I'm blessing them. I'm just like, Lord, bless them. Let them get a promotion. Let them get this. Let them get that. What happens is either they move on and they go away and somebody new comes in, actually fixes it. Splatters on me. I get it fixed eventually. Whenever, however that happens, it's all in God's timing. But see, I'm letting the Lord deal with it. But I'm doing my part by releasing the blessings. You got to capture this. Now, I know it's difficult. So, what you have to do is in that secret place when you're spending time with the Lord, because now we're talking about righteous living, this is challenging. And unless you're living in the secret place with the Lord, you're probably not even understanding anything I'm saying. And you're probably not even getting how to even apply it to yourself. Well, in that secret place, you need to do something. Look at what the Holy Spirit will give you if you ask. Galatians 5, look at we're going to read verses 23 through 26. But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. I'll get back to the rest of the scriptures here. There's no law. The law has been fulfilled by those principles. They can't put a law in place that tells you you must be nice. It is something that comes within. And unless you ask the Holy Spirit for for it, your morals have no meaning. If you think that, well, if I just treat this person good and I treat that person good, I can't treat that person good. He's evil. You see, your moral compass doesn't cover things. Especially when you're judging on the surface. Oh, look at him. He's got to be evil. You know, he's got tattoos, long beard. He's got to be mean, ugly, evil. No. Don't ever judge a book by its cover. So here you are now operating in the spirit not in the law. So in that secret place you ask the Holy Spirit to say I need more love because I need to love your people. You love that guy. You love that guy. I don't know how but I'm going to ask you to help me love them too. I'm going to ask you to help me have some self-control because I got people hurting me. And here's the thing is you got people cursing you. You don't even know it. In fact, sometimes it's just your neness because you're a believer in Christ and you're pleasant and all hell is breaking loose. You're fully aware of it. But the one thing you are not aware of is that person's looking at you going that she must be sick. She must be wrong because how could she be nice in a situation like this, you see? And that's a curse. So here in the secret place with the Lord is when you start asking the Lord, come bring me some self-control. Help me control my tongue. Let's continue on here. Look what it says in verse 24. And those who are Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. You see in that secret place, that's what you're doing as you're crucifying your flesh, saying you're not in control flesh, but the spirit is. Holy Spirit, have your will with me. Come into my mind. And see, you're speaking the words. This is the power of the tongue. You're blessing your spirit with the Holy Spirit. You're saying, "Lord, I need the Holy Spirit self-control. I bless myself with self-control. I receive self-control. I bless myself with joy. I bless myself with love. Do you see what's happening here? Because now you're changing yourself in the secret place with the Lord and initiating that righteousness which you've already done because you've got into the secret place with the Lord with his word. Soon as you open up the Bible and you're in his presence with the word, you are activating righteousness. And as soon as you're repenting and you're getting right with God, here's how to build your your seed to germinate into that beautiful tree that you could be. Well, this is how you do it. You start asking for these things because you know what? I'm going to tell you right now, the world has no self-control. They hate you because you're nice. They hate you because you're mean. They just hate you. They will hate you no matter what. Especially if you're better than them at things, they will hate you. You know why? Because they hate God and you represent God and they are going to hate and hate, it doesn't matter. They're just going to hate. Do you see that? So if they're going to hate God and you're representing God, they're going to hate you. So you might as well say, "Okay, well then in that case, I'm going to have self-control and I'm going to bless you." Because see, here's the thing. God, that person's life matters to God just as much as your life matters to God. He loves him. He wants him just as much as he wanted you. So, you have to go in and say, "All right, Lord. I'm going to bless him. Bless him with a better job. Bless him uh to do his job and to do it well. Thank you, Lord." You see, it's hard. I'm going tell you right now, it's hard. Look at the rest of those scriptures, though. Uh verse 25. If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit. And you see now as you spend time with God, now God is spirit. So when you spend time with God, you start letting the spirit mature, grow, strengthen, and the flesh weakens. It gets subdued. And it it's awesome because yeah, when all hell's breaking loose, you can say, "Yeah, I got a piece." and it does surpass all understanding. Amen. Look at the rest of this verse 26. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. Look at envying. And that's exactly what I'm talking about. These people hate you because they're envious of what you have, who you are. And they're hating God, not you per se. You just happen to represent God at that moment. And when you represent God, Yeah. They're going to hate you because they hate God. So, this is where you come in with your self-control and have it in the forefront of your mind that you are in a spiritual matter. You cannot see them cursing. You don't hear, you know, they're in the secret. They're they're in that darkness and they're like, "Man, that woman, oh, she's so I wish." Yeah. You see, those are the curses. But they're saying that to themselves out loud to the spirit. And the spirit tries to attack God's anointed. And guess what? You don't mess with God's anointed because guess what? It tries to hit and bounces right off and goes right back on you. And you deal with curse. So as a believer in Christ, if you're wondering why all hell is breaking loose, have you checked your words lately? might be something you're saying that you shouldn't be saying. And that goes for everybody. Everybody, a believer, non-believer, a pastor. We're all flesh and blood. And until we enter the eternity in our spirit, we have to deal with that. These are things we have to deal with. So, the best way to do it is to be in the secret place with the Lord. And once you're there, ask the spirit to give you self-control, to give you the right words to say how to bless these people. Amen. And you know what? I'm more preaching to myself than you guys. I'm going tell you that right now. And I'm receiving. Hallelujah. Psalm 5 11 and 12. But let all those rejoice who put their trust in you. And this is where things get very interesting. I used the scripture in the last message as well. Trust. How do you trust in the Lord? Well, remember his prophecies are true. His word is true. It's been around for centuries and it is powerful. The moment you become a believer, that that awareness comes into place. It is hard. If you're a non-believer, once you ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins, the the eyes open up and all of a sudden you're realizing, you know what, God is real. Okay? And and and you have this understanding that he is truly there. And it it gets difficult because as you've been raised, maybe you haven't been raised in a Christian home. And even if in a Christian home, there's trust issues that take place, abuses that take place. And oh, it's hard to trust. But when you get in the secret place with the Lord, and I'm not talking church, I'm talking you and God time. And it's not just a daily devotional. It it is that time where you you pour out everything to God and you read his word. And in fact, as you're reading the word throughout the week, whatever it is you're dealing with, you're going to find everywhere you open the word, God is talking to you. And every scripture heals you. Oh, that's beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. But let all those rejoice who put their trust in you. Let them ever shout for joy because you defend them. Now that's another thing is as you curse these people, God's defending them because he loves them just as much as he loves you. And he's defending you as much as he is them. But he will release those curses on you. And you will be dealing with all hell breaking loose on earth. Especially, it could be one day you just wake up and it is bad. You're on the wrong, it was the wrong side of the bed. Maybe you should have stayed home. Who knows? But you've got you get a flat tire. You break down or you your boss starts yelling at you. It wasn't even you. It was somebody else. Just all hell breaks loose. Somebody breaks into your checking account, steals a few hundred bucks. uh all hell breaks and that's usually a spiritual manner and that is because the Lord's trying to get your attention and that's when you tell the devil get below my feet and then you go to God and repent and say I'm sorry Lord help me see what I'm doing and it's usually the words are you blessing or are you cursing and in order to correct yourself need some self-control which means you need the Holy Spirit how do you get the Holy Spirit spirit. Spend time with God. God is spirit. And the more you're spending time with him and in the word, you're receiving the spirit. Amen. Let those also who love your name be joyful in you. And that's another thing as as you see this and you're dealing with everything that is going on, you get to have a joy because all of a sudden you're realizing, well, God loves him just as much as he loves me. And it's like he could be in heaven with me. And yeah, that's a wakeup call for some people. Imagine if Hitler had asked God to forgive him before he went. Jesus is so merciful. You might walk into heaven. Hitler might be there. This is why we don't think of these things or can't think of them. But what we can do is say God loves that person just as much as me and that person has a right to get to heaven just as much as me. Which means I better bless that person if I want blessings on me. Simple truth of the matter, right? All fact truth. Verse 12. For you, oh Lord, will bless the righteous with favor. You will surround him as with a shield. There it is. You're when you're spending time with God in that secret place and you've activated righteousness, he defends you. He's that shield, that hedge of protection around you because you don't know what the enemy is saying in the dark. You don't know what curses are coming at you. I mean, even Chris Rock, when Will Smith walked up to him and slapped him, he didn't think he was going to do that. So, you see, you don't know when you're getting slapped in the spirit. I mean, in today's world, we don't really have people coming up and slapping people. And I mean, you see on the news occasionally that people are attacking people, but at the same time, you spend time in that secret place, you've got this hedge of protection around you, both physically and spiritually, and these things won't be happening to you because you're spending time in righteousness with the Lord. But that's a choice you have to make. You have to decide if that's something you want to do or not. And you know, part of it is, do you even know who God is? You know, sometimes we don't get into that secret place with the Lord and activate that righteousness cuz do I really believe he's God? Do I really believe he's real? Look what he says in Isaiah. This is God talking. This is very powerful. Isaiah 45:7 and 8. I form the light, create darkness. I make peace and create calamity. I the Lord do all these things. Rain down you heavens from above and let the skies pour down righteousness. Let the earth open. Let them bring forth salvation and let righteousness spring up together. I the Lord have created it. The Lord created righteousness. Now if you read that entire chapter and here I am. I'm not giving it all to you. I'm not going to spoon feed you these scriptures. You need to go do some homework. read that whole chapter. It is about a guy named Cyrus, but it was written like a thousand years before Cy I and I could be wrong. A thousand years, 100 years, I don't remember the exact time, but it was well before Cyrus was born. And I think it was a thousand years, but you can Google that. You can look it up, research it, figure it out because I want you to start getting to know the word of God. Cyrus was a king of Babylon. I don't remember the the country. again. I want you to go and do your homework. But he is approaching Israel to conquer it. Priest comes out and he starts reading that very chapter talking to this guy whose name is Cyrus. And Cyrus just kind of chuckles like, "Did I just hear from God?" Yes, he did. So God is talking to Cyrus, but he's also talking to the world. To know him is to realize he not only created light, he created darkness, he created righteousness. And remember what he's doing, his whole purpose, his whole plan is to deal with sin and put an end to it. And that's in Daniel, that's in Isaiah, that's in some of the smaller prophets. you. Again, these are scriptures that if you were spending time with the Lord, you would know this because he would show it to you. So, this takes a matter of effort on your part, which then also takes a matter of effort on your part to have that self-control because the first thing you want to do is spew out a curse. Well, it's time to start spewing out blessings. Amen. Let us bless one another. Let us bless one another. I'm going to tell you right now, you start blessing the the buildings. You start blessing the weather. You start blessing your co-workers, your family members, and you start spreading blessings. And imagine if the whole world was blessing one another. Oh my goodness. We wouldn't be having it the situations we have right now. I'm telling you. And that's a guarantee. But people don't want to bless again. They hate they hate you because you represent God. So we do have an active enemy in the world and they are going after God. So if you represent God, they will hate you and that's the end of that. But I'm going to tell you right now, you can stand with God and know that he already won because you know the end. He has the victory. Amen. Amen. Amen. All right, let us close in prayer. And I want you to say this prayer out loud with me because I want you to bring in that self-control into your heart. Dear Jesus, I ask you to forgive me of my sins. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I ask you to fill my heart with joy, with self-control, with loving kindness, with goodness, with peace. Thank you, Father God, for filling me up and and I ask you to give me the right words to bless those around me and to bless the atmosphere around me. Father God, thank you for that strength and thank you for teaching me how to bless and to live a life where I'm blessing others in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. God bless you. Uh we won't be bringing out another message until September. And that is because we're going on vacation. So we'll be gone for a couple of weeks here in August. And August 27th, I believe it is, is uh the youth the next youth service. Yeah, August 27th. And that will be at the mission church in downtown LA. If you're welcome to join us there starts 700 p.m. And uh that will be the next live teaching that my dad will do. I'll probably get that up on the 28th. So that will be the the next message that we bring in, but my next message will be in September. God bless you and enjoy and I'll see you in the next message. Bye-bye. Previous Next Home
