  • CHRIST IS PREACHED | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

CHRIST IS PREACHED The objective of this teaching is to demonstrate that the preaching of Christ, whether motivated by love or by contention, still serves to advance the gospel. By examining Paul’s letter to the Philippians alongside Jesus’ words in Matthew, the lesson encourages believers, teachers, and ministers to prioritize preaching with love while recognizing that God can still work through imperfect motives. Ultimately, the aim is to strengthen faith, inspire boldness, and emphasize that Christ is magnified both in life and in death. CHRIST IS PREACHED Minister Lisa Kane August 27, 2025 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to demonstrate that the preaching of Christ, whether motivated by love or by contention, still serves to advance the gospel. Synopsis: In Christ is Preached, Lisa Kane explores Paul’s message to the Philippians, highlighting how his imprisonment not only spread the gospel to new places like the palace but also emboldened others to preach with greater confidence. Paul acknowledges that some preach Christ with motives of envy and strife, while others do so out of love. Yet, he rejoices regardless, affirming that the central truth remains—Christ is being preached. The teaching then bridges Paul’s perspective with Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:17-20, reminding listeners that Christ came not to destroy the law but to fulfill it. Ministers are urged to honor God’s commandments in their preaching, as those who teach and live by them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. At the same time, Paul’s reassurance shows that even those who preach imperfectly are still within God’s plan. Drawing from both Old and New Testament commandments rooted in love (Deuteronomy 13:3, John 13:34-35), the message concludes that while God can use both fear-driven and love-driven preaching, it is far better to teach, preach, and evangelize with love. Love magnifies Christ, builds up the body of believers, and secures a greater reward in the kingdom of heaven. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: There are some good points Paul makes to the Philippians in chapter 2 that I want to explore in this Bible Study. Objective: The objective of this teaching is to demonstrate that the preaching of Christ, whether motivated by love or by contention, still serves to advance the gospel. Philippians 1:12-14 KJV 12 But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel; 13 So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places; 14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear. First off, it looks like the Philippians were asking Paul about the bonds that he was in, and he answered them by telling them that they’re turning out to be more for the gospel. That those bonds he is in are manifesting the gospel in places, such as the palace and elsewhere. And that it had a side-effect of causing people to speak with more confidence and boldness without fear. Then he goes on to explain that there are more ways to preach the gospel because of this. Philippians 1:15-18 KJV 15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: 16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: 17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. 18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. Paul explains the motives behind some of these preachers. Some have the motive of envy and strife but others with good will. He explains that the ones preaching with contention are attempting to poor out more affliction, make you feel more guilty in hopes that will cause you to humble yourself before the Lord. But there are those who preach with love defending the gospel as it is as Paul does. Then Paul makes the mind-blowing statement that whether they preach in pretense or in truth, that Christ is preached, and that causes him to rejoice. I always wondered about this because I see people get saved fully knowing the teaching they heard was not out of love. And even in my own life, I realized that I would rather teach out of love than to bring someone to the Lord through fear. Philippians 1:19-22 KJV 19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, 20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. 21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. And here Paul tells us that yes, the Spirit of Christ is working here in salvation through prayer. He brings this back to his suffering and rejoices because people are being saved and Christ is magnified through his body in life and eventually through death. Then he explains that living is done through being in Christ and that dying is gaining Christ. He’s not ashamed of the gospel but stands with all boldness…and he does eventually die for Christ because of this boldness. Let’s look at this through Jesus in Matthew: Matthew 5:17-20 KJV 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. First, Jesus clearly states that He didn’t come to destroy the law but to fulfill it. This is a good reminder that to each of us, we don’t know the Word of God or the law in it’s fullness, as the scribes and Pharisees claimed to know. This missed the Messiah’s first coming. And Jesus boldly and confidently states that every prophecy will be fulfilled. Then He makes this bold statement in verse 19: 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. When you are behind the pulpit as an evangelist, pastor, teacher etc, if you teach your followers to break the least of the commandments, then you are called least in the kingdom of heaven. Wait – what? You’re still in the kingdom of heaven? That’s right. Paul was confirming what Jesus demonstrated and stated in Matthew 5. But Jesus goes on to say that those that follow the commandments and teach, preach, evangelize them, then you shall be great in the kingdom of heaven. It’s great to see that Christ is still preached but as I speak to evangelists, preachers, pastors, teachers etc, know that when you preach by keeping His commandments, your status will be greater in the kingdom of heaven then those who preach with fear. What are the commandments? Deuteronomy 13:3 KJV 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. John 13:34-35 KJV 34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Both the old and new commandments are based in love. Conclusion, preach, evangelize, teach in love for it is the better option for you, and don’t condemn those that preach through fear. The spirit of God is working on them and they still have the option of being in the kingdom of heaven. Home Previous Next

  • ALTAR IN THE MIDST, PILLAR ON THE BORDER | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

ALTAR IN THE MIDST, PILLAR ON THE BORDER To reveal the prophetic and spiritual significance of Isaiah’s vision of an altar in Egypt and a pillar on its border, connecting it to the end-time alignment of Egypt, Assyria, and Israel. The teaching draws a parallel between the physical nations and the inner life of every believer—spirit, soul, and body—showing how deliverance and blessing flow only when these align under God’s rule. < Back ALTAR IN THE MIDST, PILLAR ON THE BORDER Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: To reveal the prophetic and spiritual significance of Isaiah’s vision of an altar in Egypt and a pillar on its border, connecting it to the end-time alignment of Egypt, Assyria, and Israel. The teaching draws a parallel between the physical nations and the inner life of every believer—spirit, soul, and body—showing how deliverance and blessing flow only when these align under God’s rule. Synopsis: In Altar in the Midst, Pillar on the Border, Pastor Marcos explores Isaiah 19:19–25, where the prophet describes a time when Egypt, Assyria, and Israel will stand together as instruments of God’s blessing. While some view this as a reference to the Great Pyramid of Giza, Pastor Marcos emphasizes the deeper prophetic message—one that points to end-time events and personal spiritual deliverance. The nations themselves carry symbolic meaning: Egypt represents the flesh or worldliness, Assyria signifies the soul of the nations, and Israel symbolizes the spirit—the inheritance of God. Just as Scripture foretells these nations aligning in blessing, believers are called to bring their body, soul, and spirit into harmony before God. Deliverance is pictured in the progression of Isaiah 19, where idols fall, inner wars expose demonic strongholds, and the heart is faced with a choice: cling to sin or embrace freedom in Christ. Pastor Marcos parallels Egypt’s cry for deliverance from oppression with the believer’s own cry for freedom from spiritual bondage. Just as God promises to strike and heal Egypt, the Lord strikes the flesh with conviction and discipline so that it might be healed and reconciled to Him. The altar in the midst and the pillar on the border represent the believer’s inner consecration to God and the outward testimony of faith that stands as a witness to the world. Ultimately, the prophecy not only points to the coming Messianic rule over all nations but also reminds the Church of its role: to bear the pillar of truth and maintain an altar of devotion in the heart. Deliverance, alignment, and blessing come when God is enthroned in every dimension of life—spirit, soul, and body—just as the nations themselves will one day be aligned in His kingdom reign. Written teaching: Isaiah 19:19 “In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord at its border.” Although the above end time prophecy, which some believe is a direct reference to the pyramid of Giza, which straddles the border of old Egypt between north and south, and which also stands in the midst of the entire nation today, it's a future prophecy that details the condition of three middle eastern nations at a specific point in time, as our next verses show. Isaiah 19:23-25 “In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria (through the land of Israel), and the Assyrian will come into Egypt and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians will serve (the Lord in Israel) with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria—a blessing in the midst of the land, whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, ‘Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.’” Now I believe that there is an extremely relevant spiritual connection to all that is been manifested in the physical unfolding of this prophecy. The nation of Israel today borders the land of Egypt on its west side, and the land of Syria on its northeast side, where the Assyrian nation was located on Isaiah’s day. Both the nation of Egypt and the Syrian nation are experiencing great turmoil as of this writing, which is clearly setting the stage for what the Lord is getting ready to do as we approach the days of the end of the age. But I couldn't help but notice how the Lord intends for this trinity of nations to convey a message of an end time blessing, in the midst of the land, that would have great spiritual repercussions as well. We know that Egypt is often used as a metaphor for the world or the flesh, but in this case the Lord calls the Egyptians whom He is blessing, My people, and to the Assyrians whom He is blessing as well, He refers as, The work of My hands. And Israel He calls, My inheritance. God formed Adam’s body from clay but that clay did not animate until God breathed into the nostrils He fashioned on the clay, it was then that man became a living soul, the work of God’s hands, His inheritance whom He placed on the garden to tend it and to keep it. We see in Ezekiel 38-39 how the reinstituted nation of Israel cries to God that their bones are dried and in need of a spiritual rebirth. Could it be that this is what is taking place right now? The mechanics that will bring about a physical tri-unique alignment that would serve as a sign to the nations before the end time blessings are restored. Isaiah 19:20 “And it will be for a sign and for a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the Lord because of oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them.” How can we not understand the sign of the cry of the Egyptian nation where as many as fifteen million people took to the streets and asked for deliverance from oppressors? It is so hard for me to understand the logistics required to accommodate millions of people on the streets when just a few thousands leaving a stadium, where a game was played, can put so much stress on a city’s infrastructure, but it happened. If Egypt is representative, spiritually speaking, of the physical body or the entire world, and if Assyria, which encompassed Lebanon as well as the Syria and Iraq and Jordan of today in Isaiah’s day, represents the soul of the nations, and if Israel which represents the spiritual center of the earth, with Jerusalem as its capital, what does their aligning together mean for us today? It means that the great world wide rule of Messiah that takes place in the age that is soon to come is nearing fast. The spiritual implications for us, as far as deliverance is concerned is this; the blessings of deliverance for us individually cannot come until we align ourselves, the trinity of our spirit, soul, and body as one in our midst and in the border thereof or our outer self. Let us look at the physical progression of how Egypt, which represents the flesh, its prepared by the Lord to erect Him an altar in her midst and a pillar to the Lord in its border or outer semblance. Isaiah 19:1 “The burden against Egypt. Behold, the Lord rides on a swift cloud, and will come into Egypt; the idols of Egypt will totter at His presence, and the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst.” When a person becomes born again, they do so by accepting the Spirit of God who rides swiftly into their hearts as they repent, which causes a commotion among the idols that that person has erected in their souls. Immediately a civil war breaks out within that person’s heart that has just being converted, for there can be no fellowship between the Spirit of God and idols. Isaiah 19:2 “I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians (demons against demons); everyone will fight against his brother, and everyone against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom.” This war within has more than one purpose, first, it takes place for the purpose of exposing the demonic infrastructures and the strongholds within the human soul that has just being converted. Secondly, by dividing these demonic entities, it causes those spirits to fail in their struggles to hold onto the person that is being delivered, by making them weaker as they struggle against one another to hold on. Thirdly, it reveals to the person being delivered the connection that these demonic entities, that the person being delivered might not even known existed, had to the rulers of the darkness of this world. Isaiah 19:3 “The spirit of Egypt will fail in its midst; I will destroy their counsel, and they will consult the idols and the charmers, the mediums and the sorcerers.” This is when the person that is being delivered has to make a choice, do they hold on to these demonic hordes that have being the enablers of their flesh up to this point, or do they renounce them and decide that they do not want them to be part of their lives any more? Jesus told us that when a demon is driving out of a person, that demon goes about wondering through dry places, seeking rest and finding none. So it returns to see if it can get back into the house, the body that it was cast out of, if the demon sees an opening, it goes out and finds seven demons more powerful than himself and enter into the person he was cast out of, and the condition of that person becomes worst. Jesus also told us that if after a person that has being forgiven the debt of sin that they could not ever repay, that if they fail to forgive others their trespasses against them for whatever reason, that such a person would be handed over to the tormentors until their debt was pay, the debt which they could not pay to begin with. Isaiah 19:4 “And the Egyptians (the flesh that refuses deliverance) I will give into the hand of a cruel master, and a fierce king will rule over them, says the Lord, the Lord of hosts.” So that the spiritual and the physical mirror each other. What we see transpiring today on the global and national news is pretty much a reflection of that which is taking place within the souls of the inhabitants of the nations. Those who reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ as nonsense are lost and without hope, despair and hopelessness defines them, and they really do not have a clue as to how much is at stake if they do not wise up. On the other hand we have those who know about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but are enemies of the cross, so they work feverishly to oppose, and to pervert the truth of the Gospel, lest those who hear it will come into the liberating knowledge of God’s love for them. And then, we have the workers of iniquity, those who trade in the commodities of the underworld, who for a piece of hell’s pot sell their souls to the devil and become active in recruiting out of humanity, fodder for the devil’s cannons. They pervert society to reflect their own tormented souls, they push drugs, perversion, idolatry, misconduct, mayhem, pornography, violence, and every enslaving thing that would gain them favor with their demonic masters, with whom they will be sharing eternal torment. But to us it falls to reveal through our outer walls, or borders, what is on the altar which we have erected in our hearts to our God, that which has become a pillar of our continuance in the grace of God. We continue to proclaim the grace of God in love, knowing full well that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. So that for the sake of the Gospel we are willing to endure ridicule and shame, when we are reviled we respond with a prayer of grace on behalf of those who chose to persecute us. Isaiah 19:21 “Then the Lord will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the Lord in that day, and will make sacrifice and offering; yes, they will make a vow to the Lord and perform it.” What a beautiful symbol of the deliverance that awaits our flesh, it says that the Lord will be known to our flesh, and that our flesh will know the Lord on that day; and the sign that our flesh knows the Lord and that its known of the Lord is that it will be able to make a vow to the Lord and keep it. What that means is that when our flesh is reviled for the testimony that it holds, we will offer the sacrifice of praise unto our Lord and will offer a sincere prayer on behalf of those who do the reviling. Do you want to know what happens to those people that we pray for even after they revile us and persecute us? The Lord strikes them with kindness. Isaiah 19:22 “And the Lord will strike Egypt, He will strike and heal it; they will return to the Lord, and He will be entreated by them and heal them.” Oh, what a mighty God we serve, how awesome is His mercy and how boundless is His grace! His wisdom is unsearchable and His power to heal us is unending! I love You my sweet Jesus, Your love overwhelms me, Your presence in my life humbles me, and Your Word satisfies all my needs for ever! Previous Home Next

  • THE FOUR PILLARS OF EVIL | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

THE FOUR PILLARS OF EVIL The objective of this teaching is to expose the strategies of the enemy through the “four pillars of evil”—perversion, division, false religion, and malfunction—and to equip believers with the knowledge and spiritual understanding necessary to overcome these works of the flesh. By contrasting selfish ambition with the fruit of self-control, Pastor Marcos seeks to lead believers into deliverance, maturity, and a fruitful walk in the Spirit that aligns with God’s will and secures their inheritance in the Kingdom of God. < Back THE FOUR PILLARS OF EVIL Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of this teaching is to expose the strategies of the enemy through the “four pillars of evil”—perversion, division, false religion, and malfunction—and to equip believers with the knowledge and spiritual understanding necessary to overcome these works of the flesh. By contrasting selfish ambition with the fruit of self-control, Pastor Marcos seeks to lead believers into deliverance, maturity, and a fruitful walk in the Spirit that aligns with God’s will and secures their inheritance in the Kingdom of God. Synopsis: In The Four Pillars of Evil, Pastor Marcos Marrero draws from Galatians 5:19–23 to reveal how the works of the flesh are rooted in selfish ambition and serve as tools of the enemy to hinder spiritual growth. He explains that, while salvation makes us righteous before God, deliverance from selfish desires requires knowledge of how the Spirit of God operates in contrast to the flesh. Pastor Marcos classifies the seventeen works of the flesh into four categories: Perversion, which twists truth and sows doubt; Division, which causes inner conflict and separation; False Religion, which binds believers to ritual and legalism instead of faith; and Malfunction, which renders believers ineffective and unfruitful for God’s purposes. Together, these pillars uphold the structure of evil that opposes the fruit of the Spirit. Through vivid examples, such as how a lie or doubt can destabilize relationships and faith, Pastor Marcos demonstrates the destructive power of perversion and the chain reaction it sets in motion—leading to division, false religion, and ultimately spiritual malfunction. He emphasizes that Satan, the accuser of the brethren, seeks to undermine believers’ confidence in God’s love and truth. Yet, the pathway to victory lies in embracing the truth of God’s Word, walking in the Spirit, and producing spiritual fruit, particularly self-control. By doing so, believers can dismantle the enemy’s strongholds, resist deception, and experience the freedom and joy of God’s Kingdom. Written teaching: Galatians 5:19-21 “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you before hand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” All the works of the flesh are driven by selfish ambitions, the goal of the fruit of the Spirit which emanates from God’s love for us, is to deliver us from our bondage to the selfish desires of our flesh, so that we can walk under the fruit of self-control. Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness (meekness), self-control. Against such there is no law.” If you have already accepted the forgiveness of sins that the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross purchased for your salvation, then the Spirit of God is already within you, and you have been qualified to produce spiritual fruit, and you can be delivered from the strongholds in your life that are keeping you from walking under the fruit of self-control. Proverbs 11:9 “The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor, but through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.” Once we accepted Jesus as our Savior, we became born again, born of the Spirit of the Living God, what that means is that we were made righteous before God, but now we need to seek the goal of our faith, 1 Peter 1:9, which is to be delivered from the selfish ambitions/desires of our soul and learn how to walk after the Spirit of God by producing within us the fruit of self-control. Proverbs tells us that it is through knowledge that we are able to obtain deliverance once we have accepted Jesus as our Savior and Lord. What kind of knowledge is there that we need to know in order to be delivered from our earthly desires that keep our souls bound? We need to know and understand how the spirit of Selfish Ambition and the spirit of Self-Control operate, and how they influence our behavior. In our opening text, where the works of the flesh were enumerated, we see that there were a total of seventeen works that were mentioned, one of them, which I highlighted, is selfish ambitions. In order for us to best understand how our flesh operates, I took the liberty to classify the works of the flesh by their function when I wrote about them in my book The Liberation of the Human Soul, which you can find in the book’s section of the houseoffatihministries.org. I classified four of the works of the flesh as perversion, for that is what they aim to accomplish. I classified another four of the works of the flesh as division, since that is what they aim to accomplish as well. Another four I found to be part of what I called false religion, for their aim is to bind us into legalism and away from true faith. And the last four I defined as malfunction, for that is the aim of all of the works of the flesh, to get humanity to falter to the point where it becomes worthless and useless to God. So that through the manipulation of our selfish desires and ambitions the devil tries to hinder the believers from implementing God’s will and purpose in the earth. That is why our opening text says that: those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Romans 14:17 “For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” The kingdom of God is about producing spiritual fruit, and when we believe in a perversion of the truth, we open the door of our self or soul to the enemy to tempt us, who will then try to keep us from inheriting the kingdom of God by stifling our ability to produce spiritual fruit. PERVERSION 4 FALSE RELIGION SELFISH AMBITION DIVISION 4 1 4 MALFUNCTION 4 If you follow the chart above starting with perversion, you can see the progression of how the works of the flesh operate within us. The very first thing that the devil does is to try to pervert what we believe to be true by bringing the truth that we believe into question: did God really say? was the very first thing that the devil said that is recoded in the Bible. Once what we thought to be true comes into question, immediately we become inwardly divided, we do not like uncertainty so we look for a way out, what we naturally end up doing is trying to reestablish our sense of the truth through natural means instead of faith, that always leads to religious rituals; if we do certain things or pray in a different way, then what we believed to be truth will be realized once again, we think; but remember that reliance on religion is a false way to go about searching for the truth, for it is written that without faith it is impossible to please God. So that we end up malfunctioning until the issue is settled. John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Here is how it works; Let’s say that you are a young adult and have your mother and father in your life, but out of nowhere the thought comes into your mind that they are not your real parents, at first you think of that thought as nonsense, but then memories come to mind that give some credence to the idea that maybe you were indeed adopted. You see, it does not matter whether you were really adopted or not, once you entertained that possibility, immediately your heart became divided, the equation of your relationship with your parents is forever altered. The first question that usually pops up is, If they are not my real parents, then who are my real parents? And then other questions follow, like, Where are they? Are they alive or dead? Why did they give me up? So that without a scintilla of facts our lives can be turned upside down in an instant, that is how the power of perversion works, and it works with the same power and in the same manner against anything that we believe to be true. So how do we deal with all of these new feelings and emotions? We try to reason our way out of them; we might say, if they are not my real parents at least they cared enough to adopt me. But the thought that they lied to you, or at least concealed the truth from you will not let you rest. So that the next time that you go and visit with your parents you will feel like your innocence was violated by them by not telling you the truth, and is now affecting your relationship with them to the point that is malfunctioning, for what else is there that they have hidden from you? What if your aunt, your mother’s sister, whom you have not seen in years, comes to visit and while you are all there, she begins to reminisce and starts telling you about when her sister, your mom, first told her that she was pregnant with you, and you can see them reliving that excitement of what they were going to name you is you were a boy, and just keep on talking about all those minute details of her pregnancy. The truth would immediately engulf you in such a liberating manner that you would feel so foolish that you even thought to doubt the truth that you had embraced for all your life. I used that long illustration to reveal to you how the truth of the Word of God can make you free. Satan is called the accuser of the brethren, and we are told that he accuses us before God day and night. Jesus is our advocate in God’s presence who is continuously covering us with His shed blood before God day and night as well. It is told of the saints in heaven that they overcame all the devil’s accusations with the blood of the Lamb and with the words of their testimonies. Revelation 12:10-11 “Then I hear a loud voice saying in heaven, ‘Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.’” What is the root of all the accusations that the devil is continuously hurling against us? Did God really say that He loves you? God speaks truth, the devil tries to cast doubts on our minds about God’s spoken truth, but ultimately, we decide what it is that we are going to believe. It is not until we embrace the truth that God loves us no matter what, and that He will never leave us nor forsake us no matter what, that we will be made free indeed, for whomever the Son makes free is free indeed. We can do better than just barely getting by in our walk of faith, we need not fear failure, and we need not embrace mediocrity of faith. I dare you to find somewhere in the Bible where it says that God does not love us, or that He does not care for us, so why entertain the lies of the devil any longer? Let us receive the truth today that we are accepted in the beloved, who gave His life as ransom for us, who is our shield and our deliverer. Pray according to our next Scripture. Psalm 86:11 “Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.” The truth of the Word of God will unite your heart in such a manner that you will have no need of rituals or dead religions to rely upon, for the foundation of God’s truth is an unmovable foundation that will carry you out of whatever hell the devil throws your way. What is the word of your testimony today friend? Previous Home Next

  • SOURCE AND RESOURCE | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

SOURCE AND RESOURCE The objective of Source and Resource is to reveal the biblical principle that every resource has a source, and that the origin determines whether what we receive brings life or death. Pastor Marrero contrasts Satan’s lies as corrupt resources from a false source, with God as the only true Source of every good and perfect gift. The message calls believers to discern the origin of what they rely upon, to pursue God Himself rather than just His provisions, and to prepare as the end-time church to walk in God’s power and purity. SOURCE AND RESOURCE Pastor Marcos Marrero November 4, 2024 Objective: The objective of Source and Resource is to reveal the biblical principle that every resource has a source, and that the origin determines whether what we receive brings life or death. Synopsis: Pastor Marcos teaches from John 8:44, showing that Satan is the father of lies, and all his resources are rooted in deception. Any reliance on demonic resources aligns people with his nature and leads to sin and death (Psalm 7:14; James 1:15). In contrast, James 1:16-17 affirms that every good and perfect gift comes only from God, the true Source. The message illustrates this principle through the story of Elisha (2 Kings 2), who dealt with contaminated water at its source rather than its effects. His act of casting salt at the spring symbolized purity and the importance of addressing corruption at its origin. Elisha’s pursuit of a double portion was not simply for resources but for direct connection to the Source—God Himself. Pastor Marcos emphasizes that believers must be willing to tear off old coverings, embrace God’s new dimension of anointing, and receive His resources for the end times. Just as Elisha cried, “My father, my father, my source and my resource!”, so the church must cry out for God’s power afresh. The teaching continues with Job’s imagery of mining (Job 28:5-6) and Peter’s revelation that Jesus is the Christ, the solid rock (Matthew 16:16-18). Jesus resisted Satan’s temptation to turn stones into bread (Matthew 4:4), showing that the true bread and resource come only from God’s Word. Finally, Pastor Marcos points to Revelation’s promises of hidden manna, the white stone, and the baptism of fire as resources reserved for overcomers in the last days (Revelation 2:17; Matthew 3:11). The end-time battle will be fought by saints who dig deep into God’s Source, overcome by the blood of the Lamb and their testimony (Revelation 12:11), and reign with Christ as kings and priests (Revelation 5:9-10). The central call is clear: Jesus is both the Source and the Resource. The church must turn from false sources, draw from God’s well of salvation, and be equipped with His fire and anointing to fulfill its destiny in these last days. Inspired Teaching: John 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” All resources have a source from where they emanate. For example, every resource that comes from Satan originates from a lie! That is what Jesus is revealing to us in the Scripture above. The devil cannot tell the truth even if he wanted to: There is no truth in him Jesus told us. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources. And by implication Jesus is telling all those who employ demonic resources, that when they do, they are making Satan their father or source and becoming one with him by entertaining his evil desires. Psalm 7:14 “Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity; yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood.” James 1:15 “Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.” This principle of source and resource is a very important one to understand, because Scripture makes it very clear that employing the wrong resources—even if for the right reasons—can get us into a great deal of trouble. That is why it has a warning alongside it. James 1:16-17 “Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift (source) and every perfect gift (resource) is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” Only God is Good and He is the only source of good, and every good gift comes from God and is a perfect gift—resource—that can be used for our benefits. 2 Kings 2:21-22 “Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast the salt there, and said, ‘Thus says the Lord: “I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’” So the water remains healed to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke.” We see this spiritual principle of source and resource at work very clearly at the beginning of the ministry of Elisha; after receiving a double portion of the anointing of God when Elijah was taken up to heaven. The water source for the village was contaminated and both the people and the environment were affected with barrenness. This was probably a test from the sons of the prophets to see if their new leader was now connected to the same spiritual anointing that his predecessor Elijah possessed. 2 Kings 2:19-20 “Then the men of the city said to Elisha, ‘please notice, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees; but the water is bad, and the ground baren.’ And he said, ‘Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.’ So they brought it to him.” Salt represents an antidote to corruption, placing salt at the source of the contaminated water spoke to the fact that whatever corruption existed in Elisha’s ministry had been dealt with by his persistence to receive a double portion of God’s anointing. Elijah’s desire was to meet the source, not just receive the resource. 2 Kings 2:10-11 “So he said, ‘You have asked a hard thing, nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.’ Then it happened, as they continue on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.” I believe that Elisha’s desire for the double portion was based on the fact that he wanted to meet the source himself. When dealing with the miracle that they needed, he asked for a new bowl. You do not insert new wine into old wine skins. The source always precedes the resource! 2 Kings 2:12 “And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, ‘My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!’ So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces.” Pay close attention to Elisha’s cry: My father, my father; My source and my resource! Then he tore his own clothes into two pieces. Traded of himself the old source with all of the old resources and embraced the new dimension of God’s call and ministry for his life. 2 Kings 2:13-14 “He also took up the mantel of Elijah that had fallen from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan. Then he took the mantel of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, ‘Where is the Lord God of Elijah?’ And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over.” I believe that our God is calling His church to a new and greater dimension of spirituality. He wants to equip us with all the great and powerful resources that He has stored in His heavenly granaries for these end times that we are living in. Are we, as His holy church, ready to call on the apostolic mantel to fall upon us one more time? Are we willing to tear, in two pieces, our own old clothes or covering? I believe that deep within our hearts we long to cry out: Where is the God of the apostles? There is only One that is Good! Only One who is the source for all the benefits—resources—that we need to fulfil our destiny as God’s witnesses to this last generation! Job 28:5-6 “As for the earth, from it comes bread, but underneath it is turned up as by fire; Its stones are the source of sapphires, and it contains gold dust.” In the preceding verses Job is talking about mining the earth that produces bread on the surface. And that by digging, or mining, or much travelling, we turn the rocks into precious stones and gold dust. He also says that the source that produces the treasures is: As by fire, stones are turned into precious stones! The gold dust represents the proclamation of the Gospel. Matthew 16:18 “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” What was this solid rock revelation that Peter received? That Jesus is the Source and the resource! Matthew 16:16 “Simon Peter answered and said, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” It is no coincidence that the first temptation that Satan tried against Jesus was that of turning stones into bread. Matthew 4:4 “But He answered and said, ‘It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” Once this revelation enters our hearts—that Jesus is the source, and all the good resources can only come from Him—then our desire should be to dig deep into the well of God’s salvation. Revelation 2:17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written that which no one knows except him who receives.” Matthew 3:11 “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” The end time battle of the last generation will be fought by the saints who go deep into the mine—the source—and they will be filled with God’s holy fire of purification. How can I qualify to receive this powerful end time resource? Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” There has to be a desperate need and urgency in the hearts of those who love His appearing. A deep spiritually born desire and a knowing that the end of all things has come. Do you believe? Revelation 5:9-10 “And they sang a new song, saying: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.’” Previous Next Home

WHERE BELIEF LEADS INTO LIFE To encourage believers to understand that faith in Jesus Christ removes condemnation and brings them into the light of God’s truth. By reflecting on Scripture and the example of the woman caught in adultery, the goal is to help us recognize both our struggles and Christ’s mercy, reminding us that awareness of God’s Word exposes the heart, but also points us to the freedom found in Christ. Ultimately, the objective is to lead us toward choosing the light of Jesus, walking in His Spirit, and relying on Him daily for guidance and transformation. WHERE BELIEF LEADS INTO LIFE Minister Lisa Kane August 19, 2025 Objective: To encourage believers to understand that faith in Jesus Christ removes condemnation and brings them into the light of God’s truth. Synopsis: “Where Belief Leads: Into the Light of Christ” explores the contrast between living in light or darkness as revealed in Scripture. John 3:18–21 teaches that belief in Jesus removes condemnation, while rejecting Him leaves a person already condemned. Romans 8:1 affirms this truth, reminding believers that those in Christ walk free from guilt and shame when they live by the Spirit. The study highlights Jesus’ encounter with the woman caught in adultery (John 8:3–11) as an example of His mercy and light. Instead of condemning, Jesus exposed the hidden darkness in others and offered the woman forgiveness and a new way forward. In the same way, His Word reveals the truth in our own hearts, both in simple trust and in deeper struggles, always pointing us back to His grace. Ultimately, Jesus declares Himself the Light of the world (John 8:12), and belief in Him invites us out of darkness into life, hope, and freedom. The study closes with a prayer of surrender, asking Jesus to help us walk daily in His light. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: John 3:18-21 KJV 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Jesus states that when we believe, we’re not condemned. Is it that simple? We struggle with so many things throughout life as believers, but scripture clearly tells us we’re no longer condemned. Romans 8:1 KJV There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Jesus provided us with an example of this, and he used it as a defense against the enemy. John 8:3-11 KJV 3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Not one man could condemn her because they had darkness in their hearts. Now, Jesus didn’t expose that darkness, he just made them aware. Sometimes, we need awareness of the Word of God in our lives to help us see the things within our hearts. Simple things like the innocence of believing in the words of Jesus and heavy things that help us realize Jesus is always there with us. He is the light, and we can walk in that light too by choosing to believe in Him. John 8:12 KJV 12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Here’s a prayer to help us want to choose the light over darkness: Dear Jesus, I’m sorry for messing up. I believe that You are the Son of God and I’m asking for help. I don’t even know what to specifically ask for, but I know that You will help. In Jesus’ Name Amen! Home Previous Next

  • PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

Say this prayer out loud: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world; the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.” Father God, I bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, with open ears, eyes, hearts, and minds to see, hear, receive, and believe the living Word of God because you state in Mark 4:12 KJV “12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” I pray in hope that they see and perceive, hear and understand so they would believe in Jesus the Son of the living God! And Heavenly Father, I bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in the hearts of the people in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists to forgive and reconcile the nation back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray that the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I also pray that past generations deceived by lies would be restored to the truth going forward. I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” manifests within the hearts of the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world. I pray that those who work in mainstream media, media outlets, and/or as a journalist that they will share truth and fact from the Bible. Declaring the Bible as truth and they are led by the Holy Spirit. I pray that the gifts of the Holy Hpirit stated in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12 KJV “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” would unite the body of Christ under one leadership, the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God moves through each of us so that we know what to pray, how to pray, when to pray, and praise the living God in all that we do. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen!PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM Say this prayer out loud: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world; the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. • SPIRITUAL WARFARE | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

< Back SPIRITUAL WARFARE Minister Lisa Kane February 12, 2023 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to equip believers with biblical understanding and practical guidance for engaging in spiritual warfare. By exploring the unseen spiritual realm, identifying entities and influences described in Scripture, and applying the authority of Christ through prayer, confession, and faith, the message encourages Christians to take back what the enemy has stolen, walk in victory, and labor for the harvest. Synopsis: In this message, Lisa Kane of House of Faith Ministries teaches on the reality of spiritual warfare as described in Ephesians 6:12. Believers are reminded that the battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual hosts of wickedness. The lesson stresses the importance of dwelling in the “secret place of the Most High” (Psalm 91:1), where personal communion with God empowers Christians to fight and overcome. Lisa outlines the different entities found in Scripture—including angels, demons, cherubim, seraphim, watchers, princes over nations, and spirits such as wisdom, knowledge, and fear—showing how they influence the natural and spiritual world. She emphasizes the authority believers carry in Christ, teaching that words of confession and prayer can bind the strong man, silence curses, and release blessings. The message highlights principles of binding and loosing, the power of spoken words, and the responsibility of the church to cover regions in prayer and intercession. Practical examples and personal testimonies illustrate how spiritual warfare affects daily life, from battling depression to praying for rain in drought-stricken California. Ultimately, the teaching calls believers to wage the good fight of faith, to reclaim what has been stolen—joy, health, peace, finances, and freedom—and to labor together as the body of Christ to bring in the harvest. Through persistent prayer, faith-filled confession, and reliance on the Holy Spirit, Christians are equipped to walk in victory and advance God’s kingdom despite the battles waged in unseen realms. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane. I'm recording this on Saturday, February 11th, 2023. And this message is called Spiritual Warfare. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this word and we ask for our ears to be open, our eyes to be open so we can hear and see the spiritual dynamics of your word, the living word of God that we may walk it, apply it to our lives. Let it be a part of our spirit and our soul and our body. Thank you, Father God, for your living word. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture. Here we are looking at of course Ephesians 6:12. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Now, as you can see, I am recording this a week early. We're traveling next week, so I want to get this message up. So, we'll be open uh posting it with Super Bowl Sunday tomorrow. Um we're going tonight to the uh mission church uh Rosa deseron in downtown LA and so we're going to have a youth message up and running for you as well tomorrow. So that is all the announcements here at House of Faith Ministries. But we are glad you can join us today. I hope that you truly apply this word and if I could just simply remind you of this because this is very important. You need this in order to deal with spiritual warfare. Okay. Psalm 91:1, "He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty." This is very important if you want to be in spiritual warfare and take back what is rightfully yours because a thief has stolen it from you. You know, he's stolen your joy, your happiness, your freedom, your finances, your health. You want all that back, you got to go get it and you got to fight for it. So, I'm going to show you how to do all that today in this message. And I want to remind you though that you need to be in the secret place with the Lord. And the secret place is not church. Everyone in church can see you. So that's not secret. So you want to get into the secret place with the Lord in your home or in your car, wherever it is where it's just you and God. And a reminder, you're going to be dealing with entities. I'm going to talk about that. I'm going to identify them all or most of them. And you're going to be dealing with that as you try to go in there. You know, uh, Pastor David just spoke, uh, Thursday night at Bundy Canyon Church here in, um, Wdemar and we were watching online. First thing he says is, "Wow, look at I don't get text messages all day. And the moment I'm going to preach here, I get text message." The moment you press into the Lord, you're going to have all those interruptions. So, just remember that. You've got to shut everything down. You've got to make it a priority. You have to fight for it. So, get into the presence of the Lord, the secret place of the Lord. Okay? that is between you and God. So he can talk to you and you can talk to him. And a little tip if I may give you a bit of advice that I learned many years ago because this is very very helpful. When I would read a scripture and there was something I didn't understand, I wrote the question down that I had in a book, a journal, and I dated it. And then as a few days would go by, because it always took about three days, I always got my answer. That is a relationship with the Lord and you need that. You're going to need that to deal with spiritual warfare. Okay? If you're not a believer in Christ and you're watching this message, you may not understand it. You may even mock it and call it hypocritical. Well, you know, that's your opinion. I suggest you don't watch and I suggest you do repent and then watch and watch how your mind opens up about this. Amen. All right. So, let's go back to that beginning scripture because that's very important here. Therefore, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, uh against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. So, we're going to describe some of the heavenly realm here. I want to show you this because I really truly believe you are going to be in for a world of surprise here. And there's a lot of revelation here as well. You know, as we get closer to the end times, knowledge is growing. And that is because of the Holy Spirit. And that is and he's teaching those that are dwelling in that secret place this revelatory knowledge. Okay. Now, you know, I've heard little comments just to also lay more foundation here about, well, why doesn't God just deal with the devil? and and there and I want to also deal with the concept that a lot of people believe that the devil has a lot of power and a lot of authority. So, I want to address that real quick here. There's a scripture in Isaiah 45 and I'm going to show it to you here in just a moment if you want to open your Bibles to it. Isaiah 45 is talking God is talking to a guy named King Cyrus through the prophet Isaiah. King Cyrus didn't exist for 400 years. So this prophecy is written 400 years in advance. But God is saying something very very important here. And I want you to see this in Isaiah 45:7. I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and create calamity. I the Lord do all these things. Now you know this should change your concept of God. Let's say God versus Satan. There is no God versus Satan. Satan's a tool of God. So Satan's going to have to do what God told him to do. So, think of it like this. When you're dealing with spiritual matters or you're dealing with, let's say, depression or you're feeling convicted about something, you haven't done anything. Let's let's go there and do an example. Let's talk about homosexuality. You have no you can't understand why God says it's a sin. And you're a believer in Christ, but you're struggling with this. So, you know, when God says it's a sin, you you need to be acknowledging that, but you're like, "No, no, these people, they need love. Love is love." And you're feeling convicted, but at the same time, you're rejecting it. So, God will send chastisement to you. Your blessing goes away. You're cur you're under now a curse because it is against the word of God and you're just struggling with this. But you are standing firm and you're holding strong to your conviction because you're saying, "No, no, no. I'm right. You're wrong." You might not be saying it verbally or really kind of thinking it, but that's what your spirit is doing because you're fighting God. Well, eventually God's going to send the devil after you. Why? Because he's trying to get your attention. He's trying to get you to understand. Now, if you're a believer in Christ and all hell breaks loose, that's the devil coming after you. You one have the authority to tell the devil to get below your feet. So, make sure that you do that because the devil runs. The moment you say that he has to run, he's actually lower than the animals. You can go read scripture in gener Genesis about that. So, when you do that, then you go to God and you say, you know what, Lord, I am sorry. Help me understand this. And he says in Isaiah chapter 1, come let us reason together. So he will show you why it's a sin. And if you want to know right now, he says to the whole earth, be fruitful and multiply. And homosexuality cannot do that. Imagine if everyone turned gay, this world would die in a generation or two. That's just the reality of it. So he says it's a sin. And whether you knew a reason or not, you should be honoring the fact that he said it's a sin. You see? So this is how the Lord works. Now, I want to show you some spiritual aspects, entities that exist that we know of from scripture. We don't know all of them, believe you and me. In fact, um, we probably don't even know an eighth of the creatures that God has made in the heavenly realm. Okay? So, I want you to understand this. So, what we know of right now, we know there are angels and demons. I'm not going to show you scriptures on demons. Enough scripture on that you can go read about that. But here uh here's an example of a scripture talking about angels. Luke 1:13. But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zachcharias, for your prayer is heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bury you a son, and you shall call his name John." Angels have been communicating with people for centuries. The term angel simply means messenger. And so it really doesn't describe anything other than the fact that he's from another dimension, the heavenly realm. Uh, I bring that on because I, you know, I just want you to understand there are angels, there are demons, okay? That that that's the basic entities. There's people that don't believe it. And that's fine if you don't believe it. You're going to see how much you actually do believe when you get to the end of this message. Watch this. So, let's look at other entities that exist. I I need to lay this foundation for you because I need you to understand. So, once you see all the players here, and I may not even grab all the players. I'm just grabbing some of them. You're going to see how they all work together or against you. You're going to see this waring. And this is why we're talking about spiritual warfare. You have to know this. Okay. Look at here. There are cherubim. So in Ezekiel 10:5, "And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even in the outer court like the voice of Almighty God when he speaks." Now, I'm not describing what these creatures are and I'm not telling you exactly what they do or anything like that. I'm just telling you they exist. Okay? So that's cherubim that exists. We know that from scripture. Ezekiel. Now look at this. We know seraraphim exists. Isaiah 6:2. Above it stood saraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face. With two he covered his feet. And with two he flew. Uh see no evil here. I'm just kidding. But you can see saraphim exists. Again I don't know what that is but they exist. Then there's also an entity called watcher. And this is scriptural. There's uh Daniel 4:3-1 17 says, "I saw in the visions of my head while on my bed, and there was a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven." Then jump down to verse 17. This decision is by the decree of the watchers and the sentence of the word of the holy ones in order that the living may know that the most high rules in the kingdom of men, gives it to whomever he will, and sets it over the lowest of men. Now, again, I don't know the role of watcher, but you can kind of get an idea that they kind of set up some of the rules and stuff here. You can also go look at um Genesis on watchers. There were 200 fallen watchers. They um mated with women and created giants in the earth. Uh the Nephilim, if you will. So, you can go check that if you're check that out if you're interested just to know more. Then there are entities called princes. This one's interesting. Look at this. Daniel 9:25. Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the prince there shall be 7 weeks and 62 weeks the street shall be built again and the wall even in troublesome times. Messiah the prince. We need to remember that because we're going to be talking about that. Let's continue in Daniel to see more about princes because you're going to see how this applies here. Daniel 10:13, "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withtood me 21 days, and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia." So chief, one of the chief princes, there's a lot of princes. So, uh, let's continue on. Let's look at more scripture about this. Daniel 10, this is verse 20 to 21. Then he said, "Do you know why I have come to you? And now I must return to fight with the prince of Persia. And when I have gone forth, indeed the prince of Greece will come. But I will tell you what is noted in the scripture of truth. No one upholds me against these except Michael, your prince." That's an interesting scripture. You can really get a lot out of that. Uh so you can understand their princes. Uh prince of America, if you will. You saw prince of Greece, uh, prince of Persia, prince of Rome, prince of Babylon, prince of Ukraine, prince of Russia, prince of Japan. So there's always a prince exist over a country and over that entity, a large one anyways, and now they move as a group. Prince of Israel. Um, so you can see how that works. But there's more. There are also what I like to call influencers, but there are other spirits here. Watch how these guys work. Isaiah 11:2, "The spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord." So now there are spirits like wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel. So these I like to call them influencers because they're going to influence you. which means there's spirit of anger, spirit of hate, spirit of depression. You're starting to get an idea now of what this heavenly realm is about. And I wanted you to see that so that you understand what you're dealing with. So, let's let's break it down a little bit here. So, you're take a look at the room you're in. Now, you're you're human. You're you're flesh and blood like I am. And you can look and you see your walls or your window. Um, you see your ceiling, your floor, uh, but you know, maybe you're in a room with other people, you see other people, but you don't know what else is in there with you and see the Holy Spirit, you can't see him, but you know that he exists because you can feel the anointing when he exists. Hallelujah. Because it makes a change in you, believe you me. And when you spend time in the secret place of the Lord that I talked about, you'll hear his voice and he will talk to you. you will know what he's saying, where to go, how he draws you in. It's absolutely incredible. You're going to love that. Then you have um you know the prince of a country that's over that area. Think of a church. That church has a prince over it. Okay, so let me explain how this works. Messiah, the prince. So Jesus Christ is the flesh and blood, the the man who came to the earth. He he was born a male child. He grew up. He took the prince of Messiah and he he so Jesus the flesh and the man in the heaven in the earthly realm became the Messiah prince in the heavenly realm. And the two are symbiotic and they work together. You're going to see scripture on this in just a minute. So now the question comes into play because when you start seeing these entities that are around you, who's the strong man influencing that? So we have what's called the prince of America who is our president right now. Whatever his beliefs are is what our prince of America represents in the heavenly. Did you catch that? Now he We saw when Trump became president, a lot of people stating that he's not my president. And um it that punches holes in the spirit realm, by the way. And it takes your covering and breaks it off as soon as you don't as soon as you say that. So, you know, they said that about Trump. You've got other people now saying this about Biden. You have to be very careful with that because we need to keep our covering over America intact. Just because we disagree with what he represents, which we know that some of it is abortion and this is all against biblical. We the Bible, we understand that. But what our duty is is to one, let's not tear the covering down of America. Meaning, let's not speak words like he's not my president because it's going to tear the covering apart from the inside. By the way, what you have to do is now go into the spirit in your secret place and you need to be praying for America's covering and America's leadership and you need to be going to war. This is what you do now. Now, you you're going to find that other people are doing the same thing. Uh see uh Satan worshippers do it. witchcraft people, uh, uh, warlocks and stuff, they're doing this stuff and they do it actively because they're seeing results, which they shouldn't be seeing results if Christians are doing what they're supposed to be doing. You need to hear that, okay? You need to hear that. Now, I want to show you how all this works, how you deal with this, because it comes down to the words of your mouth. You're going to find that your words have been impacting America, impacting your church, impacting your work, your home life. Let's go to my absolute favorite scripture, the Bible that I think I put in at least 98% of my messages here. Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth pause the moment you speak with your mouth things happen and this is not only for salvation the scripture but look at this says confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead you will be saved saved means deliverance so taken out of a situation or that also deals with let's say you're you're angry about something and it's been getting you more and more angry you're just building up. You can actually come against that and say, "You know what, Lord? I don't want to be angry anymore. I need to let this go and I need your help." And you see, the moment you speak that, deliverance takes place. And and things in the heavenly start to move that shake that and that entity has to let you go. Then you need to fulfill that place that void in your heart with fruits of the Holy Spirit, gifts of the Holy Spirit. You can ask for joy, love, peace because now you want your spirit to your cup to fill up and that just pours out of you, that love instead of that anger and that hate. So you can see I'm talking about deliverance here as well. So this so I'm going to teach you how to go back and take what was stolen from you. You know your your joy was stolen from you. Your finances, your health, your peace of mind, your sleep, just even your sleep at night was stolen from you. These are things that you can take back and and you know you could pray for things over like over your neighborhood. You know it's as soon as you start I just taught on this about the the confession of the mouth. I did two messages on this. This is how important it is. But you can go and start praying blessings over your neighbors because I'm gonna tell you right now, when they're prosperous, they don't want to steal from you. You see how it blesses you in the long run. What revelation, just simple revelation for that. You know, it's absolutely incredible. But in order for you to take back, you have to deal with the strong man. And Jesus did that. Now, let's go look at scripture on this because I want you to understand what we're dealing with. Now, what the scripture I'm going to show you is dealing with the the church in context. So, what's more important right now is pulling in the harvest. So, if you want to take back your city, let's say uh you live in Las Vegas, what's the spirit that the prince of Las Vegas, what is he influenced by? Money and gambling. So, now you know what that prince is. Well, now you can go in the spirit realm and deal with that because you have to bind the strong man because you can't go into his house if he's awake and alert. He's going to stop you from doing whatever it is you're trying to take back. Let's say you lost $100,000 in gambling and you want to get it back. It was a poor decision. You need to spend more time with wisdom and but you can see you can take it back. It is rightfully yours. But you have to disable the strong man first. Let's go to scriptures. Look at that. We're going to look at Matthew 12:29 first. Or how can one enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods unless he first binds the strong man and then he will plunder his house? Mark 3:27 says the same thing. No one can enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods unless he first binds a strong man and then he will plunder his house. And then look at what Luke 11:21-22 says. When a strong man fully armed guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted and divides his spoils. Now, who's the strongest man of them all? Wow, that's a very interesting question, Lisa. Would that be Jesus? You know, when Jesus was baptized, the very first thing he did is he went into the wilderness for 40 days and he fasted and he dealt with the strong man of the land, which was Satan. He dealt with them. He bound him up so tight that it when he would walk into a town, he would walk into a city, their eyes and ears were uncovered because he dealt with their sight and their hearing. that because now they can see and they can hear. People were getting saved, people were getting delivered, casting out demons, people were being healed. Uh people could see their their blindness would go away. The woman with the issue of of blood for 12 years. I mean, here now she had already spent all of her money on doctors. She had been looking for her healing. And here she finally hears of a man who's healing people. And so she thinks of it in her heart like if I could just touch his garment, you know, but because Jesus had dealt with the strong man first, she can now hear and her own understanding because she's a thinker. She's been looking. She had been seeking. But there were blinders where she couldn't find the truth until Jesus came. But because he bound the strong man, she can see the truth now. And that gave her the chance to go get her healing. And she got it. All she did was go and touch his garment and she was healed. And he acknowledged that it was her faith that did it. This is the power of dealing with your strong man. Now, there are scriptures that also deal with this and how you can say these words. Look at this in in Isaiah 40 54:17. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Look at this. And every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. And their righteousness is from me, says the Lord. Look at that. So no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Cannot It won't be fruitful. Let's say you you're a rape victim. You have the right to take back your sanity, your peace, your comfort, your joy, your trust because that entity, that evil thing that attacked you cannot be fruitful. And then look at this. Any words that come against you, every tongue which rises against you, you shall condemn. Do you see this theme here? Do you notice in the beginning of this message I said you need to get into the secret place with the Lord. You are going to be entering in and dealing with these spiritual entities because this is what Jesus has been training you to do. So this is how you're going to get back what the enemy has stolen from you. And then you can see what you can stop. So like if the enemy is coming against you, you're at your workplace and all of a sudden I mean accusations are coming all over and you're innocent, you know it. And you're just sitting there going, "All right, Lord." And you say you say to all the entities that are around you, you simply say, "You will not be fruitful. You will not prosper. I bind you in the name of Jesus." Because now you're stopping the strong man because you're the stronger man because you're spending time in the secret place with the Lord. So what did Jesus say? When you see Jesus, you know his father. Well, when you see Lisa, you know Jesus. Do you see how this is? So when you get into the secret place and you are imitating Christ, you are learning of Christ. You are learning how Christ ministered, now you can go get the harvest. And now you can keep the enemy from prospering against you. You get to do this. This is your responsibility. You should be doing it. You got to understand that this is you dealing with the spiritual entities that are waring around you. So yes, you have this prince over America that he's influenced because now by the laws and the rules and the principalities that exist, the door is open for evil to rule there in America because of what our leadership believes. He has the right to believe that by the way. Now that doesn't mean you have to take that on and support it. No. In fact, it is your responsibility to say no. And that when you don't support it and you come into the secret place, you're not sending out accusations. You're not speaking words against America. You're not defiling America. You're not cursing America. You bless your land and your area because you say, "Lord, here's your scripture. You say that that that's a sin. I agree with you. I and I'm not supporting abortion. I am not supporting homosexuality. I'm standing in your word. And when you do that, your area is covered. So now, like in my area, I live in California, Southern California. What was one of the things that we dealt with was drought. Drought, by the way, is spiritually represented in the scripture as you're not spending time with God. And California has gone there. And you can see some of the woke thoughts that are coming out of this region. However, I said, Lord, I don't have to live in this drought. I could have got up and move and I'm still contemplating it. Still looking. We're traveling next week to go look at things. But I'm going to tell you here and right now that I said, "No, I don't have to live in drought. I'm gonna pray for rain." And so now during this process, so I start praying for it. It's like a year and a half now, two years ago. I start praying for rain. I'm like, "Okay, Lord, let's bring the rain. I thank you for the rain." And I'm just asking for more rain, asking and asking, asking. We we had a pretty good fall this past fall in autumn. We had a lot more rain than normal. But I'm watching these news articles of these naysayers coming in saying, "Oh, we're still in a drought." And I went to God and I and God appreciates this. I went to him and I said, "Shut their mouths, Lord, because what I'm trying to bless, they're trying to curse and I don't want to be waring with them anymore." So, I went to God and I said, "Shut their mouth." And then what happened? We end up with what, eight atmospheric rivers that hit California, Northern California. We have rain for days and the drought level is nearly gone. We, you know, there's still a little bit. I'm still praying for rain. We We got to fill up all of our lakes that were gone. But see, I have the right to do that because I know where I stand in the scripture because I spend time in the secret place with the Lord. This is your right, too. You have the right to do all this. Look and and see, you got to deal with that strong man. You got to bind him. Look at the scripture on this. Watch again. This has to deal with you're seeing in context with the church and the the representation of the church, the entity of the church. Whatever church that you're at has that entity. So Jesus beca, he was the man, but he took on Messiah Prince and he was a prince. That's he's a prince. So he operated both in the physical and the spiritual and he teaches that us. I'm going to show you that scripture here. So now you may not be as strong as Jesus, but you have Jesus on your side. You and Jesus now under his covering, his friendship. You get to come up under it with him. And the two of you get to operate in that. And you can. So when I went to the Lord and I said, "Shut their mouths." Look at the scripture. Watch this. This is exactly what I did. This is Matthew 16:17-19. Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjon John, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church." You see, this is the responsibility of the church to be doing this. Are you listening, church pastors? Listen very carefully. Watch this. And the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Verse 19. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. You ever feel a tickle in your throat and you say, "Oh, I think I'm coming down with something." Guess what? You open the door. Come on in, sickness. That's what you did. Watch your tongue. Watch what you say. Let's look at it from um by the way these scriptures are only found in Matthew about binding things and look at this in Matthew 18 because now we're dealing with it from I now the perspective of a person coming uh that's hurting the church that's hurting like I went to the father about these naysayers I I don't know these people who are writing these articles about droughts but that's what they believe in. There's nothing I can do. I can't go fly up there. I probably could have and and try to convince them that you're wrong. We can do this together, but because they're not believers in Christ, there's nothing I can do about it until the Lord brings them in. So watch how now you can deal cuz see when the church is trying to get together to go take a city and start evangelizing and to take back the harvest they are going to be dealing with the individuals in the church that are going to curse it or no that's not my thing that's not my calling but see that's the covering you're under if you're attending that church listen to this very carefully now in Matthew 18 we're going to read verses 15 through 20 moreover if your brother sins against you that's somebody coming against what the pastor, the leadership is calling for that prince in the heavenly realm to be the strong man of that region. You see, the church is here. He's got a a prince. Now, that prince can be strong if that headship of the church, which is the pastor and the elders, they need to be in the secret place with the Lord. They need to get together as well and they need to say, "I'm taking back my city." which means I'm coming against drugs, alcohol, vandalism, robberies, uh theft. Yeah, you name it. You got crimeridden areas in your city. Well, the church can take that back and bring in the people. What you have to do is you have to get in there and say the words, open their eyes to see, open their ears to see, hear, watch. I'm going to show you this in scripture, but let's I was kind of jumping ahead here. says, "So if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you've gained a brother. But if you not hear you, now you take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses, every word may be established." Notice how he says that. Every word may be established. Again, we're dealing with spoken words, blessings, cursings. Got to be careful with what you say. Verse 17. And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. Assurely I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. You see how the principle works. Remember the very first scripture, Ephesians 6:12. We don't fight against flesh and blood, but we fight against principalities, principles, rules, regulations, laws. You see, somebody is coming against you and saying no, we can't do this. Look at the the story of the 12 spies. 10 spies said no. Two said yes. And those two had to wait 40 years. So, it impacted them big time. But they got back, didn't they? They got to go in the promised land. They got back what they were what was stolen from them. You got to hear this. You got to understand. And you got to fight for this. You have to to take the effort to go fight for it. Look at this. 1 Timothy 6:12. Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold of an eternal life to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. So now this is why the elders and the pastor have to get together behind the strong man. You need to tell them sin, you are not welcome here. We're shutting you off. And we're also speaking to the spirit of each person because each person now has a spirit that represents themselves in the spirit realm. Say, I open your eyes to see. I open your heart to receive. I open your ears to hear you. This is the responsibility of the church to take back. Now, imagine if every region did this. I think uh the Lord would be really definitely having a Holy Spirit revival being poured Previous Next
