UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION PART 7 Prepare listeners to receive God’s Word with faith, repentance, and spiritual alertness. Explain a prophetic timeline of Revelation, highlighting the Church age’s close, the rapture, and the two halves of the seven-year judgment (1,260 + 1,290 days). Contrast faithful and nominal churches (Philadelphia vs. Laodicea) and center salvation on Jesus’ deity and atoning blood. Unpack the roles of the two witnesses, the beast from the abyss, the seventh trumpet, and the judgment/reward of saints. Describe Israel’s preservation in the wilderness during Satan’s intensified persecution and connect it to the Day of Atonement patterns. Call believers to live their God-given purpose, overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION PART 7 Pastor Marcos Marrero June 14, 2009 Objective: Prepare listeners to receive God’s Word with faith, repentance, and spiritual alertness. Synopsis: After an opening prayer of spiritual warfare and consecration, the message lays a foundation: Scripture never returns void, salvation rests solely on Jesus’ sinless blood, and religion without Christ’s deity and atonement cannot save. Using the ark and mercy seat as a picture, the sermon emphasizes forgiveness through Christ’s blood rather than human effort. A prophetic overview follows: the Church age (~2,000 years) ends with a visible heavenly unveiling and the rapture of believers who love Christ’s appearing. The first half of the seven-year period (1,260 days) features the release of tormenting demonic powers and the ministry of two witnesses (identified here as Enoch and Elijah) who prophesy until the beast from the abyss kills them; after 3½ days they rise and ascend, accompanied by a great earthquake that kills 7,000. The seventh trumpet then announces that the kingdoms of this world belong to Christ. Believers appear before Christ’s judgment seat—not for condemnation, but for rewards based on faithfulness to their God-given purpose (gold/precious stones vs. wood/hay/stubble). Revelation 12’s “war in heaven” is expounded: Michael expels Satan to earth, triggering fierce persecution of Israel (“the woman”). God supernaturally preserves a remnant in the wilderness for “a time, times, and half a time” (linked to the Day of Atonement pattern of two goats—one taken, one left—and to passages about fleeing through split mountains and sheltering in caves). Typological connections (e.g., “wings of an eagle,” honey and oil from the rock) illustrate God’s provision while the world faces the mark of the beast and martyrdom of those who refuse it. The message closes with a grace-filled appeal: now is the age of mercy. Believers are urged to anchor their identity in Christ’s love, overcome by His blood and their testimony, and walk through the “right door” of destiny for God’s pleasure and glory. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hallelujah. Gloria. [Music] What? No Spanish speaking people here. Praise God. Father in heaven, in Jesus name, I come in agreement now with my brother Fred, Father God, as to binding, Father God, every demonic influence that uh will try to hinder, Father God, us from receiving the word of God tonight. Your word declares that your word does not return to you void, Father, but every time we quote or speak it or talk about it, it goes forth and accomplishes the purpose for which you send it. We declare that we are vessels ready to receive your word, Father God, like water to our spirit and to our soul for nourishment, Father God, for deliverance, for healing, and for restoration, Father God, that we may receive spiritual vision, Father God. The vision of life and hope and liberty and the grace and mercy that you have bestowed upon us, Father God. also that we may have ears to hear what the Holy Spirit says to us, Father God, that we may walk in the path of righteousness for your name's sake. And that you will empower us, Father God, to choose the right door. And we pray, Father, that you would close every door that is not our destiny in you. And that the Holy Spirit will lead us and guide us through that door, no matter how difficult it may be, that we may walk through it by the power of the Holy Spirit, that we may fulfill the purpose for which you created us. that we may fulfill the destiny. For you created us for a purpose and the purpose is to give joy to you. It says that for your pleasure we were created that the things that we do may give pleasure to you, Lord Jesus. Thank you for empowering us tonight to receive it and bless a vision for women ministries. Father God, I pray your blessing upon Fred and Tony and the many that support this ministry, Father God, that it will be a vibrant, Father God, place where life and liberty and all of these things that the Holy Spirit has come to give us, Father God, that may be received. But those who come here, Father, in Jesus name, we thank you, Lord. Amen. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Glory to God. If you got the book, we're going to use a lot of the scriptures that we have in the book. Uh we're going to start on page 49. And uh but if you have your Bible, I'm going to be quoting from um from the Bible. And I'm going to start where we finished last week. And that was in Revelation 11 uh Revelation 11 7-10. And then uh we're talking about the end of the um the first half of the wrath of God. For for those of you that that may not be here for the other classes, just get let me give you a brief recount. The church age lasts about 2,000 years. At the end of the church age, there will be an invasion upon the land of Israel. It will be a confederacy that comes from the north. It will involve a lot of the the nations. right now Iran will be one of them by the way that says that the uh the destruction of Israel is very close and that the United States the destruction of the United States will follow that's what he said in the United Nation this madman uh is going to be part very probably of this invasion against Israel so what will happen is God will allow this invasion to take place for one very simple reason most people on the world today don't know who who the real god is. You know there are many gods been preached. You have Buddha, you have Hinduism, you have new age. Even in Christianity, you have many definitions of that. The Bible says in Ezekiel uh 38 and 39 that God is going to show himself holy. That means God is going to choose to reveal to the entire world who the real God is. We read in Revelation chapter 6 when the sixth seal was opened that the sky receded as a scroll and that the people were able to see God in the throne and and the lamb of God Jesus next to him and they said the great day of his wrath has come and everybody ran and hid for their lives because the judgment was coming. So this judgment that God is and basically the judgment is purification. If we look at it from this point of view, it's easier to understand. The earth is contaminated with demons. This is alien, foreign creatures that were never intended to be here on the earth. These are the demons. They're called principalities, powers, a wicked spirit in the high places. These things contaminate mankind today to where mankind is at war against each other and against itself. People kill each other. People hate each other. People do vile things. All of the things are uh uh driven by demons which are under the control of Satan who led a rebellion against God. And one-third of these demonic angels are infesting the earth today. Now the Bible tells us uh in in Romans 8 um 9 in Romans 7:20 uh speaking as a Christian it says if I do the things that I do not want to do it is no longer I who do it but sin that's living in me. So Paul even speaks about a power of loneliness a power that it is within our very uh fiber that drives us to do things we know are wrong. You know we're bound. And it's just like this force is driving. What God is doing during this seven-year period is cleansing the earth. At the end of the seven-year period, an angel comes down with a great chain bind Satan and locks him up in the bottomless pit with every demon that has been uh bound there from that time. So, we saw that there were two types of churches at the time of this trumpet blowing when this uh uh when the heavens are going to part. One is called the Philadelphia church. The Philadelphia church has two qualities. And because of those two qualities, God says, "I will keep you from the hour that is coming to test all of the inhabitants of the earth." The quality was is that we believe in the word of God and that we did not deny his name. See, there are many people today that quote the Bible but don't really believe it. They they they say, "Yeah, we believe Jesus was a good man, but demons, h there's no such thing. Yeah, we believe that Jesus was a good man, but healing people that were blind." No, that was just they were peasants. What did they know? They wasn't really blind when they got there. This is what they'll tell you. They teach you this in in liberal theology. And when it comes about the deity, ah uh no, you know, Joseph messed around with Mary and so Jesus was born out of that. So Jesus is a good man in their eyes. He did good thing but he's not either God nor savior because see if he was born of Joseph he's infected with sin just as we are because the reason why we sin is because we inherited. Guess what? Your parents sin. David said in sin my mother did conceive me when he was repenting of of a sin of lust and and and adultery and all the things said in he says I was conceiving sin. And so as you can see this sinful nature that we have God is going to remove it by simply people who believe in the word of God and in the blood of Jesus to cleanse. You see the only thing that can take away our sins is the blood of Jesus. That's why Jesus had to die. When Jesus died on the cross you you see God when he gave the law he said the soul that sinnth shall surely die. And God says that the life is in the blood. So death meaning your blood has to be shed. That's that's what what a criminal does when when when they kill him. The blood is where the life is at. So the blood is run out of it. So when Jesus died on the cross and he was bleeding from the head because he had thorns on the head. He was bleeding from the wrist because they have pierced his hand. He was bleeding from his uh feet because they have pierced his feet. He was bleeding from his back because they beaten and had all kinds of stripes on the back. And then he was uh uh bleeding from the pierce. They pierced his heart with a spear. When Jesus was bleeding from every extremity, every part of the body, torso, head, extremity, when he was bleeding, his blood, which is pure blood, was sufficient before God to take away all of the sin. So when we accept Jesus as our savior, you see in in the ark of the covenant which is a picture up in there in the middle in the ark of a covenant the law that says the short that the soul that sin is shall surely be cut off was placed in here. This is a box made of gold and had the little top and this law was placed in there the books of Moses. This up here is called the mercy seat. So when you would apply blood to the mercy seat, the angels here represent God looking down, the God could see through the top and could see the sins. The law says you shall die. But when the blood was poured out, the blood covered the law. It says that blood already uh h uh paid for the sin. So the people in the Old Testament had to offer a sacrifice, a lamb that was spotless, that had no no no blemishes on it. And that blood pointed out to when the lamb of God would take away the sins of the world. So that when Jesus came and he died on the cross, now when I come to the mercy sinner, I said, "Lord, forgive me for I have sinned." The law says to all the sinner shall surely die. So I am to be killed. But then the blood of Jesus who was taken by the eternal spirit when he was on the cross, it was placed in the heavenly ark and was placed up in there. The blood of Jesus now covers me. When I throw myself in the mercy seat of God, I come before the mercy seat of God. God looks and instead of seeing me and seeing the law, he sees the blood. Amen. You see, and if I believe that, if I fall to that, I am not righteous because anything I have done, but by the grace of God and I believe his word, and I believe his atonement, and I believe that Jesus had to be pure and holy, the son of God, conceived by the spirit of God, human, because he was placed in the in in the womb. And now we know today that you can take a a female egg and you can fertilize it with a sperm. That's what God did. Except instead of injecting a Joseph or any man thing, it was God. The very same breath that he spoke in the Garden of Eden when he created Adam, he placed that breath in in in in the ovary of Mary. And that which was conceived was totally human. But his blood was pure because a fetus does not get any blood from the mother at all. The blood of a spirit fetus come from the father. Being that his father wasn't Joseph, that his father was God. His blood was pure. And so when he shed his blood, guess what? Boom. I am saved. Why? Because his blood is my life now. Okay. Now there's another church we're told. And the church of the church of Leo and the sin of this church is that in Revelation 3:20, Jesus stands the at the door of this church. He says, "I stand at the door and knock." Means this church, Jesus is out. And you know why Jesus is out? Because that type of church doesn't believe there's demons. Doesn't believe there's Satan. Doesn't believe that Jesus is really the son of God. They just have religion. And see, religion cannot save. Religion cannot save because sin is deep inside of each and every one of us. And the only way that can remove away that sin is the blood of Jesus. So then we saw that uh before the seven years wrath of God begins on the earth that the true church those who love his appearing. Paul talks about Jesus's return. Those who love his appearing meaning when the uh when the heavens are open and we can see the throne of God and we can see the lamb of God ready to judge all of those of us who have that blessed hope. We're going to get excited. We got to start jumping up on that. What's up? That's what rejoice says. And we got to start shouting. He kept his prophet. He kept his here Jesus here. I'm over here women. And we got to be w just waiting for the angel to come by and pick us up. But you see, the people have been trusting in religion. The people have been denying that Jesus is the son of God and that yeah, no, he his blood really don't take away sin. He doesn't do this or that. those people are going to be left behind because they don't know the real Jesus. And so they're going to have to go through the judgment. And we found out that this seven-year period is divided into two parts. The first half and the second half. The first half 7 years by the way is 2555 days. That is if you multiply 365* 7. 7 years is 2555 days. We found out that the first half has 1,260 days and the second half has 1,290 days. That makes it 2550. So there's five days in between. We found out that when the church gets taken away, not only those of us who are alive and are looking for his appearing are taken out, but every righteous person, every person that died hoping on that blood that come from heaven will be raised at that time. So we have the first part of the resurrection. All of those dead people, Adam will his body will rise then. Abraham, Sarah, David, all of those saints, every person who believe the word of God as it was given to them back then will be raised up at the beginning of this 1,260 days. And God in his mercy for the first five months, that's 150 days. Of those 1,260 days, he's going to release all the demons that are in hell. In other words, this second heaven or the second realm where all of these demonic things that we see their influences today because they're not seen at the time they're going to be revealed. And it says that these demons were given power to torment all of the inhabitants of the earth for five months, but they couldn't kill him. He says nobody's going to be able to die on those five months, which is it really boggles your mind. Can you imagine a whole world with so much stuff and nobody can die? The angel of death is going to be blocked away or something. God is not going to let anybody that. So for five months we or not me I won't be here but the people that remain here on the earth are going to find out that hell is real. And you know why? Because a lot of people 75 or 80% of the people acc believe that there's a heaven up to 90 95%. But very few people believe that there's a hell. And you see, you're going to have God and and no devil. Just like you're going to have no devil and and a God because it's good and evil. That's what Adam and Eve parttook of. They ate of the tree of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. There's good and there's evil. There's God and there's the devil. And they have an influence of where we're going. So because those people did not believe. In other words, they might have believed in God, but they said, "You know what? There's really no hell I don't have to worry about. I just going to live for myself. So what God is going to do during those five months, he's going to allow every human that is on the earth to get acquainted with their demons. Those demons that entice people to do the bad things been all this time. All the time you thought it might have been you, the one that was doing it. Well, if you miss that the rapture, they're going to be released and and you're going to be able to see them. And this is in God's mercy to show you, listen, this is what's real. So then the two witnesses come in and they will be prophesying for those 1,260 days. Now prophesying meaning declaring what the people of that time have to do in order to go to heaven. Right now we know what we need to do to go to heaven. That if you confess that Jesus died for your sin, you confess you're a sinner and that Jesus died for you and you believe that in your heart and accept him as your savior, you're saved. Guaranteed. There's no requirement. You don't have to be a PhD on nothing. All you have to do is believe. God has given everybody this a a seed of faith to believe on that. Now, these people are going to be told what they need to do. And this is the message of the two witnesses. And when the two witnesses are given the message, it comes from the voice of seven thunders. As the seven thunders utter their voices, John is told not to write what they say. That means that we don't know. So if you say now, well, if I miss a rapture, I'll do such and such. Why would you want to meet your demon for five months? I'm not that crazy, you know. Leave him here. I'm going to go up on the boat. But anyway, if somebody would think like that, uh, we're not told what they need to do at that time to get saved. This is sealed. This is not going to be revealed until after we are taken out. Now this this uh uh uh people are going to have good news and bad news. He says, "I took the scroll." This is what they were the message. When I took it in my mouth was sweet as honey, but when it got to my stomach, it was bitter. It was sour. This is a a type of to saying good news and bad news. The two witnesses are going to come in and says, "I got good news and I got bad news." The good news is you can still make it to heaven. And everybody said, "Hallelujah." And they said, "The bad news is you got to die." Why? Because you missed it. You You missed the grace of God. The grace ends when the trumpet blows and we're taken up. So the second half, God is now dealing with the law. So at the end of the 1,260 days, this is when the law ends. And this is what we're going to pick up. So I just kind of gave you an abbreviated version of what we've been teaching so far. Revelation 11 verse 7-10. And if you got the book, we're on page 49. It says, "When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them, and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongs, and nations will see their dead bodies for three and a half days and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. They blamed these two prophets for releasing the demons and and for doing all of the things that they were do, trying to convince them that they can still make it. Now notice that the person that kills them is called a beast that ascended out of the bottomless pit. Everybody know it's the antichrist, but you hear a lot of stuff today about the antichrist is Henry Kissinger or they're always looking for a guy somewhere in the world that would fit, you know, maybe is uh Obama or McCain or Bush. They're always looking for for some world leader that's going to fit that. He comes out of the pit. How much more clear can you get than that? This guy comes out of the pit. What pit are you talking about? The pit of hell. That's where he comes out of. He is, you see here, I got to identify who are the two witnesses. Well, the two witnesses is Enoch and Elijah. Now, why are this the two witnesses? Well, Enoch never die and Elisha never die. And the word of God says very clearly that it is appointed unto men once to die. Then comes the judgment. These two were taken up to heaven and never die. That violates the law of God. So they had to come back down to the earth to do what? To die. We just read. That's what they did. Well, in the same way, you know how long Enoch has been in heaven? He was taken up there about 700 years after Adam. So, Adam uh so we have a uh let me see two to three is one to four five six he's been up in there about 4,300 years you know and he won't be a second older when he comes down because in heaven he's at the center of time Jesus says I am the I am the I am is at the center of time everything moves around him but it's he's ever present so you're next to Jesus and you're ever present as a matter of fact in in in in the temple where the ark is there's a manora like this and you see this in Zechariah and there's another olive tree and another olive tree which is who the two witnesses are standing right next to the spirit of God that's the spirit that burns eternal they're standing in eternity and they're there for a purpose and they come in for this purpose this purpose is for them to preach the word of God to the world for 1,260 days now Satan is an imitator everything that God does. Satan does. See, Satan is not an originator. He's not a creator. He is just the opposite of everything that God is. He has no new thing of his own. The same thing Satan is tempting you with now. He tempted your parents, your grandparents, your great-grandparents. Go all the way back up to Adam. He still had the same lure. Getting old, but you know, this is what it does. He had nothing new. It's the same thing. So, he led a rebellion against Moses. That's uh 3,500 years ago. He led a rebellion against Moses and and and we'll get to the scripture tonight. And Moses says, "If these two guys die a natural death, then I'm not from God." But if God does something totally new, he takes these two guys alive to the pit to hell, then you know that I'm from God. So here these two guys uh uh Alberam and uh Avatar, who's the other? We'll we'll get to their names. Anyway, these two guys is been down in hell while the two witnesses have been there. When the heavens rent open and the rapture takes place, the two witnesses come down, the earth open up and the two demonic guys open up. So, what you have during this first, 1260 days is a battle between four what you would say immortals. I mean, we know that the witnesses are going to die, but they're brought back alive again. But this this is going to be what's happening during this 1,260 days. There's a battle between heaven and hell. The antichrist was called destroyer, Abdom. We saw him come up when the fifth trumpet came out. Uh the angel that came down had the key to the to the abyss. And as he opened the abyss, all of this came down. And there was one that was leading him. His name was Abdom or destroyer. That's what Judas was the type of just like Elijah was a type John the Baptist was a type of Elijah. Judas was a type of the Antichrist. Okay. Now he comes up and for 1,260 days they're making war against the two witnesses. But the two witnesses have power to bring fire down from heaven and to torment the people. And they cannot be killed until the end of the days of their prophecy. 1,260 days, which is what we just read. We just read in Revelation 11 verse 17-10 that uh as soon as their their testimony when they finish their testimony the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit is going to make war against them is going to overcome them and kill them because they have never died. They cannot go back to heaven until they die. It is appointed onto men wants to die. When we when the rapture takes place, we don't die. You said, "Well, why not?" Did you know that if you're a Christian, you're already dead? Because when you accept Jesus Christ as your savior, God sees you as condemned. Because all the sin is to surely be cut off. So when you come to the altar and say, "Lord, forgive me all of my sins." You just admit it before God, your judgment day, death. Except God has a lawyer. He's an advocate. He's Jesus. And immediately as you throw yourself on the altar and said, "God, I'm a sinner." And the Lord requires that you be killed. Jesus steps in said, "Father, I die for this person. My blood, which is on the mercy seat," speaks out on their behalf. And even though you're dead, you remain alive. That's why Paul says, "I am dead in Christ. I am crucified with Christ. The life that I now live is not I who lives it, but the spirit of God that is on me." So you see, we go in the rapture because in reality, we're already dead. Jesus said, "He that believeth in me shall never die." And then he said, "Can you believe this?" He said, "Wait a minute. This body is going to die in the No, I'm not the body. This is just a a a tent that you need to operate here on the earth. The body may die, but you're not. The minute you accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, the Holy Spirit was given to you as a deposit, as a guarantee to make your spirit alive. So when the trumpet blows, we're taken up again. So then the two witnesses are killed. Now go down to uh next page 50 and uh look at Revelation 11, 12, and 13. This is following uh from what we were just reading. Now after the three and a half days that these bodies lay up in there on the temple, the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. And they heard a loud voice from heaven, saying to them, "Come up here." This is the resurrection. Come up here. And they ascended to heaven in a cloud. That's what the resurrection is. They ascended to heaven in a cloud and their enemies saw them. It says in that same hour there was a great earthquake and a tenth of the city fell. This is important that you see there's a collapse physical collapse of the earth that takes place. In the earthquake 7,000 people were killed and the rest were afraid and gave glory to God. Now what happens over here is everybody that died trusting in the word of God from Adam all the way until when the trumpet blows and heavens is rent open. They even though they're dead, their bodies are going to be resurrected. In other words, you have a a spiritual body in heaven. Your soul is in heaven with Jesus, but you don't have a physical body. Since Jesus is coming back to the earth, you need to have an eternal and immortal body like Jesus has. So wherever the molecules or the atom that your body were made of, wherever they may be, God reconstitute them and makes a brand new body come up. And that body then is the house for the spirit and the soul to come in. And then we're going to be like Jesus because that's what Jesus has. Jesus not only has his soul and his spirit, he has a physical body that's been in heaven for 2,000 years since he rose up physically. So at that time, those who us those of us who are alive and still believe, we're going to be transformed. Paul says that in the twinkling of an eye when the trumpet blows that we're going to be raised up. the corrupt the corruptible is going to put in corruption and and we're going to be transformed in an instant. Now, since that is a resurrection, now during the 1,260 days, a lot of people die. Says onethird of all of the earth is killed. Okay? Every person that dies during the 1,260 days, if they die believe in the testimony of the two witnesses, they have to be resurrected as well. These are the ones that are under the law. Now, this is what happens when the when we just read there, it says a voice, the spirit of God came upon them. They became alive and a voice from heaven says come up here. That is the second uh uh the second stage of the first resurrection. See, God resurrected everybody by grace. Now he gave u the the law and now everybody that died in there is resurrected. So that includes the two witnesses who were faithful to their calling and that includes the the 144,000 as you will see uh uh later. Now, uh, continue on. Revelation 11:14-16. It says, "The second wool is passed. Behold, the third woe is coming quickly." We told you that the 1,260 days were divided into two woes. The first five months was called the first wall, which was the fifth trumpet. The second wall was the rest of the time. So right here, that completes the second world. That means we're coming into the seventh trumpet now. And the seventh trumpet is going to lead us into what we're going in tonight, the second half of the seven years wrath of God, which will encompass 1,290 days. Now, Revelation uh 11:14-16. Then the seventh angel sounded, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever. And the 24 elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worship God." Now, here is God making a declaration. Remember there are three things that God is judging during these seven years. He's judging the church. We found there was one that was faithful and there was one that was lacking. He's he's judging the Jews who have seven years remaining on their allotted time of judgment. According to Daniel, 490 years were uh decreed to judge him. At the at the end of 483 Jesus Messiah came and was cut off. So these seven years are allotted for the Jews. And here the only thing now that is left to be judged is the kingdoms of this world. So God judges the church first, then he judges Israel second, and then third he's going to judge the kingdoms of this world. Now in in in uh the resurrection and rapture of the church, the remember there are seven feasts. you have Passover uh unleaven bread and and uh first fruit. All of those three feasts that were celebrated at the beginning of the year represented the uh uh Jesus dying on the cross is our Passover. He's the lamb that has to be killed. The blood that was put on the lentil and uh and the lamb that they ate to be healed. That's what Jesus fulfilled Passover. When he was buried in the tomb, he fulfilled the feast of unleaven bread. Leaven is a type of sin. Bread without leaven means a body that has no sin. He was dead, but yet he never had no sin. So he had to rise. Then on the third day after the Sabbath, then you celebrated first fruit. First fruit symbolized the resurrection. So all those three feasts were filled by Jesus. Then Jesus told his disciple, go to Jerusalem and wait until you're end with power. And in 50 days from that feast, the Holy Spirit came down and 120 uh disciples that were in the upper room praying were full with the Holy Spirit. They began to prophesy and they're the ones that preach the gospel to all the world. Now, in the second coming of Jesus Christ, the last three feasts are going to be fulfilled. The first one is called the feast of trumpets. Guess what? The rapture takes place when the blowing of the trumpet. And that takes place that feast is fulfilled at the very first day at the end of the church when the church gets taken away. That's when the feast of trumpets is fulfilled. Then after the feast of trumpet, you have the most holy of all of the feast for the Jews is called the day of atonement when the sins of the nation of Israel have to be dealt with. That is what's happening over here in this middle time. God is judging Israel. This is Israel's day of atonement when the two witnesses are killed. And then uh and then the blood has to be shed. Now uh look at revelation 11 17-19. They saying we give you thanks oh Lord God Almighty the one who is and who was and who is to come because you have taken your great power and reign. The nations were angry, and your wrath has come. And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that you should reward your servants, the prophets, and the saints, and those who fear your name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth. Then the temple of God was open in heaven. And the ark, that's the ark I just showed you there, and the ark of his covenant was seen in the temple. And there were lightning, noises, thunderous, earthquake, and great hell. Now see, the Bible says that every believer who has already died in Christ must appear before the judgment seat of Christ. Paul says, "Don't you know that you're not your own? That you've been bought with a price? Don't you know that you got to give an account for everything you done in the body after you were saved, whether good or bad?" See, this is not Christians believe that, oh, we're we're good. No. This life that we live now belongs to Jesus. God has a plan and a destiny for your life. And your judgment is not going to be whether you sin or whether you lie or whether you drink or whether you committed sexual immorality. Those those those things already being judged in the cross. What God is going to judge us for is for whether we fulfill our purpose, whether we fulfill our destiny, whether we live up to the reason why he created us. That's the purpose of this reward. He says that everything that we done after we got saved is going to be uh typified in sixth item. He call it wood, hay and straw. And then he calls it precious stones, silver and gold. Now as you know precious stones, silver and gold cannot be destroyed by fire. They can be refined but they cannot be destroyed. But wood, hay and stubble they are burnt. So basically when the rapture takes place, every single one of us must appear before the judgment seat of Christ. And then the books are going to be open. I was born again in June 2nd, 1976. Everything from the time I was born to June 2nd, 1976. I was 29 years old. It's not there in the books. You know why it's not there? Because Jesus forgave it all. Amen. Then every sin that I committed since then up until the time of the rapture is not there either because in the New Testament sin Home Previous Next
- PRE, MID, POST TRIBULATION RAPTURE: DOES IT MATTER? | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
PRE, MID, POST TRIBULATION RAPTURE: DOES IT MATTER? The purpose of this teaching is to explore the biblical question of the pre-, mid-, or post-tribulation rapture and determine whether the timing truly matters. More importantly, it emphasizes the urgency of salvation, encouraging believers to proclaim the gospel so that others may avoid the seven-year period of God’s wrath described in the book of Revelation. PRE, MID, POST TRIBULATION RAPTURE: DOES IT MATTER? Minister Lisa Kane May 17, 2025 Objective: The purpose of this teaching is to explore the biblical question of the pre-, mid-, or post-tribulation rapture and determine whether the timing truly matters. More importantly, it emphasizes the urgency of salvation, encouraging believers to proclaim the gospel so that others may avoid the seven-year period of God’s wrath described in the book of Revelation. Synopsis: Lisa Kane, speaking for House of Faith Ministries, opens with prayer and introduces the teaching titled “Pre-Mid-Post-Tribulation Rapture: Does It Matter?” (1 Thessalonians 5:9). She stresses that while debates about rapture timing continue, the central truth is that believers are not appointed to God’s wrath and should focus on spreading the message of salvation. The teaching examines prophetic passages in Revelation, highlighting the severity of the tribulation—such as demonic torment during the trumpet judgments—and contrasts this with God’s consistent pattern of delivering the righteous before judgment, as seen in the days of Noah and Lot. Drawing from Abraham’s intercession in Genesis and Paul’s “mystery” of transformation in 1 Corinthians 15, the lesson argues for a pre-tribulation rapture, underscoring God’s justice and mercy. Ultimately, the message insists that speculation over timing should not overshadow the greater call: to share the gospel urgently. Salvation is free now, and those who call on the name of Jesus Christ will be saved (Romans 10:9, 13). The teaching closes with a sinner’s prayer, inviting listeners to accept Christ today rather than risk facing the horrors of God’s wrath. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and I'm recording this teaching on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your revelation and we pray that the audience who is listening, their hearts and minds are receiving what the Holy Spirit is showing them. And I pray that they grab a hold of this teaching and don't let it go and show their family, show their friends, show their neighbors why we need to get saved quickly here and now because we don't want to live during that seven-year time period of your wrath when you pour it out on this earth. So, Father God, I thank you for teaching us and bringing this revelation here. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Oh, we got a very interesting teaching today, don't we? Let's go to our title. I'm calling this pre-mid posttribulation rapture. Does it matter? Let's go to opening scripture. 1 Thessalonians 5:9. For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Okay, we're going to talk a little bit about end time prophecy. But if you notice the question, does it matter? I'm going to show you some interesting revelation here. First and foremost, we're not God. And it's foresight. So, and God can change anything and work anything because he he's the creator of it all. Now, he will keep his word though. He will keep his word. So, whatever he's prophesied, he will complete it. Here is the thing though. He's going to complete it whether you or you or I are right or wrong about end time prophecy. So, does it matter? We have to ask the question, why did God give us the book of Revelation? Oh, I know why. Because he's telling us believers, go into all the world and preach the good news and let them know they can get salvation for free so they don't have to go through that hell on earth. Because the book of Revelation is about a seven-year time period of God's wrath being poured on on the earth. And as you just saw in the scripture, believers are not appointed to that time frame. I'm going to show you, I will answer the question whether the rapture happens before that time period or during that time period or at the end of that time period. I will answer that question. But right now, the most important aspect of this teaching is that you go into all the world and tell them you don't want to live during that time frame time time frame. Get saved now while the saving is free and good and easy. And I will do I will talk about salvation, how to get saved at the end of this teaching. So let's go back to this first scripture so we can understand what's going on here. For Godath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. So right now, future prophecy is there. He's showing us how bad it's going to be. And it's going to be bad. I'm going to take a couple snippets here from Revelation. We're going to talk about how bad it gets because I want you to see this so that you and I who believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God can go into the world out there and let them know you don't want to go through that. You do not want to go through that. Now's the time to get saved. Get it while it's free, while it's easy. We don't know how you're going to get saved or what you even have to do to be saved. A lot of theologians says you have to be beheaded. Well, wait a minute. Um, what if they somebody decides to kill you just by shooting you in the head? Do you get saved still? If See, we cannot. It's foresight. We're not God. We truly don't know. Even though the Bible is very specific about that time frame and gives us a lot of information which I'm about to show you, at the same time we do not know how people will get saved and salvation will be different. Remember he John went to write down what the seven thunders had spoke and God said don't write that down. And I have a feeling that has to do with how to get saved. And the reason God didn't reveal that to us is so that you're not sitting here going, "Well, I'll just wait for that time frame." You don't want to live during that time frame. So, let's get into this. So, this is kind of about end time prophecy, but at the same time, it's more importantly that we get people saved now while the saving is free. So, here in Revelation 9 1-6, again, I'm just showing you a snippet. The fifth angel sounded. So there are six seals and then there are seven or excuse me seven seals and seven trumpets and they're kind of like back to back. And in the midst of the seven trumpets the last three trumpets which would be the fifth, sixth and seventh which is one of them are three woes. So this is going to be woe number one that we're reading. So this is how bad things are going to be. So this by the way and see I'm going to answer the question whether there the rapture happens before middle or after this time period and I'm going to tell you right now it happens before I will show you a different approach to how to look at this. This is revelation from God. This is the Holy Spirit. You're here listening to this for a particular reason. So stay stay with us and see. But I want to show you how bad this time frame gets. What you're about to see is the first or a fivemonth time period, which is at the beginning of this seven-year time period, and it's hell on earth. Watch this. So, and the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth, and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locust upon the earth. And unto them was given power, privilege as the scorpions uh the word scorpion is piercing. So scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded to them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men which have not the seal of protection of God on their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months. And their torment was as the torment of a scorpion when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death and shall not find it and shall desire to die and death shall flee or run away from them. Okay. So first of all let's talk about the seal of the Lord in Revelation 7. 12,000 of 12 tribes of Israel are sealed with God's seal. Male Jews that have not uh been touched by a woman, virgins. They're all virgins. So, these 144,000 are sealed. So after that is when a whole bunch of people show up in heaven and then all of a sudden you have this where a star is fallen and this uh demon which is in charge of the pit. He opens up the gates and he releases these locust things. They're they're like there's more description in there. I didn't bring all that description in here. It's not good reading. If you want to know more, go read it. Uh but basically these things are released on the earth and they can sting anyone who hasn't got the seal of God on them which means it's anybody who's alive at that time. Now the two witnesses can draw any fire down from heaven and plagues and all that kind of stuff. So my guess is that anything tries to come after them, they're just going to kill it until their time is to die, which is in the middle of the seven-year time period. Again, you can go read all this. you can pick it up and figure it out. So you have to ask yourself the question which I asked earlier why was the book of revelation written because see we know that prophecies throughout scriptures we know that all the prophecies about Jesus first coming was fulfilled. Now prophecy here in this second uh for Jesus second return is going to be fulfilled as well. So Jesus is coming back a second time. Why give us this if it just needs salvation? One, I believe that the Lord is showing us what the people are going to go through during that time period. One, they cannot die. Did you see that? Death flees from them. Think about that for just a moment here. They they realize and a lot of people are going to realize that they missed the boat. these this is a group of people that have already rejected that Jesus Christ is the son of God. So you've got your 144,000 sales, you've got your two witnesses, and then you've got the unbelievers here. By the way, go read Revelation. You will not find any believers walking in there through there. Where is the church? I'm going to tell you right now, when the two witnesses show up and they're down there in Jerusalem calling fire down from heaven, it's going to be on the news. Guess where Lisa will be? If Lisa was here during that time, and for that matter, any other believer that truly puts God first in their life, they're going to be right there with those two witnesses. But the Bible doesn't tell us that. This is fascinating. Where are the believers? It's just like a sore thumb that sticks out. Now, again, I told I'm going to answer the question whe the rapture happens before, which I believe it does, and I'm going to show you another way of how scripture from the Old Testament tells us it's going to be. So, there's going to be some neat revelation here, and I want you to pick up on that. But at the same time, we need to know what's going to happen. So, these unbelievers are going to be running around and facing what I'm just calling it, demonlike creatures that are going to sting them. And that sting is going to hurt, but it won't kill them. But it's going to hurt and they're going to be in pain. I'm going tell you right now, I had hurt my knee a few weeks ago, and it's rough. I tore my meniscus and I have to walk on it still. It hurts. I don't like the pain. I can tell you right now, nobody is going to like that pain. And if you're a believer and you're hearing this for the first time and you were not aware of what's and again, this is just a snippet of the suffering that people are going to go through. You can go read more if you want. You should have a tug pulled on your heart that tells you, "I better tell my family. I better tell my friends because you want to get saved now. You don't want to miss the boat and you don't want to be in you don't want to be living during that time frame. And for anybody that's teaching that Christians will be there during this time period, let me let you in on a little secret. They don't know the love of God. And I'm going to show you how God had answered this question from the Old Testament. So let's go let's go look at the Old Testament because I want you to see and and I you know and before I go there one more point I want to make here. If you think and you've gone in the other direction like how could God just torture people like that? Let me let you in on something here. These are people who rejected God. God is trying to get their attention. One, they're still alive. Which means if they come to be a believer, they still have a chance to get saved. This is the love of God being poured out on them. Even though it's wrath, it's letting them have a chance to get back with God. Repent. Now, if you read it carefully, you will find out they continue to reject God even after all of that. But God is trying to get their attention. He's saying, "Listen, I'm in control. You need to believe in me so you can get saved." And then some people are going to think, "Well, that's just not right. That that's the only choice here. Hey, you know what? God is the one who created this world. He can do and and save us however way he wants because salvation is of the Lord." And I will tell you this much. Even though we don't know how people will get saved during the seven-year time period, I know that God is still working on people during that time, and there will be some who will be saved. Whether that is through beheading, some theologians think it's through beheading. What happens if you're shot point blank? Can you still get saved if you're calling on Jesus and rejecting the mark of the beast and rejecting um everything else? Yeah, you can still be saved that way, too. So, you can't just limit because they they tell you you have to be beheaded to be saved. That's what a lot of theologians teach about this time frame. Beheading is spoken of. I just don't think it's the only way. So, let's let's not limit God and what he is capable of doing. He can do anything he wants, but he keeps to his word. If he prophesied it, it's going to happen. So now the question is where do you want to spend eternity? Do you really want to go through all of this because you think that God is being a big bad God? No. You need to repent here and now. He created you and he didn't have to. But that's how much he loves you. And Jesus went to the cross whether you accept him or not. Jesus died on the cross for our salvation. This is why today Today scripture talks about today that we should teachers, evangelists, pastors, preachers, any one of us need to be going into the world and letting the world know, get saved now. It's so easy. Call upon the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved. He is the son of God and he sacrificed himself on the cross so that we could be saved. Not everybody's going to be saved, but we're hoping for the best. So, we want to get as many as we can now because in this generation, you're seeing prophecy unfold. Go to Matthew 24 and just start reading right off the top about great earthquakes, pestilences, COVID. uh all of these things are unfolding in our in our eyes. We're seeing it and that's just the beginning of the birth panges of this season that we're entering. So, we have entered this season and it is about to burst. So, get ready, get saved, and save as many as you can. Put salvation as a priority in your mind. If you're getting gas, if you're at the grocery store, hey, do you know about Jesus? I just want you to know you can get saved now. Let's just get as many as we can before they for the first five months they can't even kill themselves, which they think is a merciful thing, but God is trying to get them to be saved so that he can bring as many home as possible. And I bet you there's going to be quite a few that get saved during that time period. So now what I want to do is talk about the debate of the premid or posttribulation rapture. Let's look at the Old Testament and see what Abraham and God had to say about it. This is how this is powerful. This is interesting. We're in Genesis 18 verses 20- 26. And the Lord said, "Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, because their sin is very grievous, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it or the shriek of it which is come unto me, and if not, I will know." And the men turned their faces from dens and went towards Sodom, but Abraham stood yet before the Lord. Okay, so Luke and Matthew, Matthew 24 says it'd be like the days of Noah. I think it's Luke 21 or I think it's Luke 21 that tells you if it's not you can go look it up. Luke tells us it'll be like the days of Lot. So in order to understand end time prophecy Jesus is telling us to go to the past to understand it. So here's one snippet of you know remember end time prophecy is a big big picture but I want to show you this conversation that Abraham had with God about going to Lot. Now, I'm going to also show you the days of Noah. But right now, let's look at the days of Lot. So, Lot was they were sinning greatly against God. So much so that God is going to pay them a visit to see if it is really true that what's going on. And Abraham kind of knows this. So, Abraham's like, "Wait a second, God, before you go." And this is what he says to God in verse 23. And Abraham drew ne near and said, "Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?" I want to pause there. How many people think the rapture is going to happen in the middle of God's wrath or at the end of God's wrath? So, do you think that God pouring out his wrath on the earth where and by the way, the prophecy clearly says that those scorpions will touch anyone except for those that have the seal of God. And it doesn't talk about sealing the church. Doesn't talk about sealing the believers. It talks about sealing the Israelites, 144,000 Jews. Which means those scorpions are going to be loose all over the earth going after anybody alive during that time that doesn't have God's seal. you. So in essence that would if the righteous and the wicked would have to be tormented at the same time according to scripture and Abraham here many thousands years earlier is saying wait a minute God what about the righteous he's he sees what I think a lot of theologians are seeing where you're going to do that what about us who love you. And some are coming to a conclusion. I don't know how they're coming to this conclusion. I mean, there's scripture in there that if you if you're not putting it in the right context can look misleading where it tells you, "Oh, these you're all going to be suffering the same." No, no, no, no, no. Now, remember, if you miss the boat and you're in there during that time and you get saved while you're in that time frame, that's a different story. So, you might become righteous in the middle. And actually, I don't know because maybe you have to die to become righteous. See, we don't know enough about that time frame because we live in a time of grace and our hearts are being biased when we read scripture. We're saying, "Oh, you can be filled with grace during that time." What if you can't? God's wrath is being poured out and and water and oil don't mix. Wrath and grace don't mix. So Abraham is bringing up the conversation with God. Let's go back. So Abraham asks a very interesting question here in verse 24. He says, "Per adventure there be 50 righteous within the city. Wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the 50 righteous that are therein?" So he's asking God point blank, tell me what if you find 50 righteous people, what then? So God answers him. And in fact, Abraham's still talking in verse 25 where he says, "That be far from thee to do after this manner to slay the righteous with the wicked, and that the righteous shall be as the wicked." That be far from the you. He's saying that's far from you. You're not that. See, he understands the love of God. He understands who his God is. And his God says he won't suffer his wrath. See, you and I who believe in God and know his love and accept his love will know that God's not going to pour his wrath on us. Hallelujah. Such good news. And look at this. That be far from me. He says, "Shall not the judge of all the earth do right?" See, God is a righteous judge. And I've taught on this before. He is currently building his case so that when he gets to judgment day, he has enough evidence against the devil to make the devil suffer for eternity. That's how God works. That's what he's doing. But for those that choose God and believe in him, he loves us. Watch his answer. Now, this is God answering Abraham. And the Lord said, "If I find in Sodom 50 righteous within the city, then I will spare or lift all the place for their sake." He won't destroy the city if there are 50 righteous people. Now, we know that he did destroy the city because this conversation occurs before the destruction, which means there weren't 50. In fact, the conversation continues on verse 32. And he said, "Oh, let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet, but this one." This is Abraham talking. He says, "Perventure 10 shall be found there." And he said, "I will not destroy it for 10 sake." And the Lord went his way as soon as he had left communing with Abraham. And Abraham returned his place. So I skipped some scriptures in there because of time. So Abraham asked, "What if there's 50, 45, 30, 20?" And then he got all the way to 10. What if there's 10 righteous? Did you see that? I will not destroy it for 10's sake. So using that, in fact, let's go look at Noah's day. I I want you to see Noah's day at the same time. Something happens here that's very interesting. Uh in um Oh, and let's finish up here. Sodom. He says, "And Abraham got up early in the morning to the place where he stood before her, and he looked and toward looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of the furnace. The city was destroyed." Abraham saw it. And I wanted to bring that scripture in there because I want those that are looking and watching this to know what the scriptures tell us. Yes, the cities were destroyed because of their evil. And the only three that survived was Lot and his two daughters, which we can see this in Genesis um 19 29 and 30. And it came to pass when God destroyed the cities of the plain that God remembered Abra Abraham and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt. And Lot went up out of Zor and dwelt in the mountain and his two daughters with him. For he feared to dwell Zor and he dwelt in the cave, he and his two daughters. So when Lot came out of the city, he w Let's pause. I I want to get this right. I so want to get this right. God knew there weren't 10 righteous people. So he had to destroy the city because he has a threshold. You see the 10, it's actually below 10. So he takes what righteous there was out of Sodom and Gomorrah and the only three who survived was Lot and his two daughters. Now his wife did come out with him. Now I'm sure you've heard the story. She turned around longing for it and she turned into a pillar of salt died. That's what happened in Lot's day. And Jesus says it'll be like that. What happened in Noah's day? Because Noah's flood took place. Something else happened here. I want you to see this. And this is Genesis 6:5. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth. That every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. God didn't destroy the earth because of the giants. And I wanted to clarify that popular belief. He did it because there was every man was thinking wickedness. uh continually uh I do know uh Methuselah it says here in uh Genesis 5:27 and all the days of Methusela were 960 nine years and he died and Methusela he it's not in the scripture in that second bullet point but he died the same year Noah turned 600 which is the same year of the flood so a lot of preachers preach out there that once Methuselah died if you talk about his name here comes destruction um and here comes you know God's going to destroy the earth at that time. So they they teach that that's when once he died it doesn't say that he was a righteous man just says that once he died. So his name meant that destruction comes after his death. So then after he died Noah was 600 years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. This is Genesis 7 6 and 7. And Noah went in and his sons and his wife and his son's wives with him into the ark because of the waters of the flood. Now that's eight people. So you've got eight people who came again. God took eight people out of the wickedness so he could destroy the wicked and he saved the eight people because there wasn't enough people to bring the city around from destruction. there was not 10 righteous. So he eight survived there, three survived out of Sodom and Gomorrah. So God has a type here. And I want you to see Paul saw this, you know, after Paul uh after Jesus intervened in his life on the road to Damascus and and his name he started calling himself Paul and he was no longer Saul. He went into the wilderness for three years and remember Paul or Saul was a Pharisee of the Pharisees. He knew the scriptures. But during that three-year time period where he waved back in to see it now through Jesus' eyes, he saw a mystery. And look what he says in 1 Corinthians 15:51 and 52. Behold, I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep or be dead, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump. For the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed or made different. So God has a type. If he is going to destroy something like he did Sodom and Gomorrah, he brings out what righteous is left. If he's going to destroy the earth, he brought out what righteous with was left. If he's going to pour out his wrath, he has to remove the righteous first. That's what Paul saw. That's why he says, "Listen, I'm telling you a mystery. We're not all going to be dead. We're not all going to die the same way." You want to know why? I'll tell you why. Because the spirit of salvation is active and moving and saving people. You need to grasp the spirit of salvation. You need to start one praying in the secret place with the Lord. Praying over your loved ones, your family, your friends, co-workers, whomever you want to be saved. And by the way, you ought to be forgiving them as well. And if you're forgiving them, God is obligated to forgive them, which means they will get saved because the spirit of salvation through the Holy Spirit, they're working in tandem to come and save them. And so people are getting saved day after day. This is awesome. Great. Which means there's going to be a lot of people on the earth when God decides to pour out his wrath. When he's good and ready for the day of the Lord to arrive at his time, when he wants to come in and do that, he has to remove the righteous because he spoke the word to Abraham already where the righteous and the wicked will not be judged together on the earth because that is not who God is. Abraham declared it. It is prophesied. We will be removed from the earth. And then God will pour out his wrath. And in that time frame, somehow someway, people are going to get saved. And when they do, they're going to be beheaded. They're going to be killed for their belief. Whatever way, however way it happens, they're going to get saved through death. Most likely. Most likely through death. We don't know the details of that. So now though is the time to get saved. Now is the time to tell people get saved while it's free. And by the way, salvation is free. Look at what Romans 10:9 says that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. And then verse 13, whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. you all you have to do is say Lord Jesus and talk to him like he's a real person because when you do that it's like you're believing that he he was raised from the dead which is what our heart needs to believe it is not complicated it is not difficult it is that you believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God as the moment you start calling on him the moment you say I'm going to repent this is you getting saved and You will be pulled out when that time frame comes up unless the Lord should tar. And I just don't think he's going to. He's coming. He's coming quickly and he's coming in this generation now. Whether that's two years, 10 years, another 50 years. I could possibly live another 50 years. Uh the way I am. Uh I don't think so. But that my generation I think it's my generation because it was at the generation of when Jerusalem became the capital of Israel and that was in 1967. I was born in 1969 right in that time frame and very close to that generation. So yes. So let's pray the sinner's prayer together because I want you to get saved. Amen. Amen. You've been listening to this this entire time. Get a Bible. Go check it out. And if you can't get a Bible, you have internet access because you're watching this. Go to www.biblegateway.com . Look up the book of Revelation and start a relationship with God and read the book of John, the Gospel of John. It's free. You can read it online. Amen. Let's uh repeat after me. Dear Jesus, I ask you to forgive me. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I don't want to live in that time period when you pour out your wrath in the name of Jesus. Thank you for saving me. Amen. Amen. Amen. God bless you and I will see you in the next message. Byebye. Home Previous Next

FULLY PERSUADED IN YOUR MIND The objective of this teaching is to encourage believers to develop a strong, unwavering faith rooted in God’s Word and to be fully persuaded in their minds concerning the truth of Scripture. It aims to show that while Christians may differ in personal convictions and levels of faith, we are called not to judge one another but to walk in love, humility, and prayer. By anchoring our thoughts and beliefs in God’s Word, we can overcome fear, grow spiritually, and live confidently in alignment with His will. FULLY PERSUADED IN YOUR MIND Minister Lisa Kane March 1, 2025 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to encourage believers to develop a strong, unwavering faith rooted in God’s Word and to be fully persuaded in their minds concerning the truth of Scripture. Synopsis: This teaching, based on Romans 14, explores what it means to be fully persuaded in your mind. It emphasizes that faith is both a heart and a mind issue, requiring believers to be confident and assured in what they believe, while also showing grace to others whose faith may be stronger or weaker in different areas. Examples from Scripture and real life—such as differing convictions about food, holy days, or health—illustrate how personal persuasion shapes behavior and outcomes. The message warns against judging others for their level of faith or their practices, reminding listeners that each believer ultimately belongs to the Lord and will give an account to Him. At its core, the teaching calls Christians to maturity: to hold firmly to their own convictions while respecting the journey of others, to pray rather than condemn, and to allow God to unify and strengthen His people. By being fully persuaded in our minds, we align our thoughts with God’s truth, experience greater peace, and live out our faith with confidence and love. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this message on March 1st, 2025. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We bless your word that it does not return void. Thank you, Father God, for teaching us how to have faith and to te trust in your word and to know it in our mind to be fully persuaded by your word in the name of Jesus. To be confident in your strength and in what you can do, Father God, in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Welcome. So glad you can join us now. Thank you for all of the kind words and support, prayer uh for as we grieve uh for the loss of my mom. Thank you guys for being with us. Uh the the flowers, the plants, and especially the prayers. Thank you. We really needed it. So, we are going to resume and I'm going to move forward with this new teaching. It is called Fully Persuaded in Your Mind. So let's go to our opening scripture. Romans 14:5. Uh, one man esteemth or decide one day above another, another esteemth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded, completely assured in his own mind or intellect understanding. So when you look and see when I teach, you see the word in bold there. That word is the original word in the King James version that the the translators used when they translated from the original language into King James. When I put the word in parenthesis after it after it, it is another word that could have been used as a translation or I could add a lot more words just kind of give you full flavor of what we're looking at. So here, let's read that again. One man esteemth one day above another, another esteemth every day alike, and let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. So being fully persuaded in our own mind is what we're going to be talking about. We will be focusing here in Romans 14. And uh I want to my goal here is to teach you your faith that you can have in your mind as to what you stand for without judging others. Meaning, if you see them a little weaker than what you are, then let's not judge them. And if you think somebody is stronger than you are, then maybe that's the Holy Spirit speaking to you on what you can do with your faith. So, let's start here in Romans 14. We're going to start in verse one. Him that is weak. That word weak there uh could also mean feeble, disease, sick in the faith. Pause. weak in the faith. How many people, you know, I I consider myself a very strong person in faith. Uh but I see that there are others that are not. They're just not that strong. Um and I'll see pastors, preachers, you know, when COVID came about, I was like, "That thing ain't touching me." By the way, it did touch me. But after three rough days, the Lord, I mean, it was almost like it was instantly cleared. So, we're something it is it when you're dealing with uh sicknesses, it is a spiritual battle you're dealing with. But anyways, so I've seen preachers who are afraid of a sickness or disease. Not remembering Psalm 91 that a thousand would die to your left, 10,000 to your right. It won't touch you. But see, we walk in this fear and so we get weak in our mind. And this is what this chapter is talking about where it it's measuring all of us out comparatively to one another. It's interesting. Let's look at this. Says him that is weak in the faith receive ye but not to doubtful disputation. And so for example, uh it was a preacher I heard one time talking about being fearful of sicknesses and diseases and is a strong uh man of God in my personal opinion. And to find him at this level thinking that I I thought this was odd. Where's his faith? Because I know he has it and yet he didn't in that area. So now we have another component here. So, some of us could be very strong in some areas and some of us weaker in other areas. So, we're going to be talking about our mind in comparison and how to receive this person. So, when I saw that pastor weak in that area, what was my first reaction? One, I prayed for him. And two, I I I continue to listen to him. Why? because he's a good teacher of the word of God. You know, just because he's weak in that area doesn't mean I just need to shuck him out the window and be done. No. See, this is where we need to get a mindset that's a little different for um right now, Gathered 2025 is going on while I'm recording this here on March 1st. It started last night for those of you who have been watching and it's been um a round the world event of Christians. So, I watched a bit of it at my church last night and a gentleman came out, um, Mark Comr or something like that. But as he he starts speaking and and I'm looking at him and he's young, he's from Southern California. And so all of my judgment comes up and I said, "No, because here he is a man trying to teach the word of God." So again, I prayed for him. Does that mean I reject him? No. Now, if he was teaching something against what the Bible says, that's a different matter. But to we judge and that's what we do. We judge ourselves and measure us against all of these others. So, how do we deal with that? So, here he's saying, for one, verse two, for one believeth or have faith that he may eat all things, another who is weak eateth herbs. Oh my goodness, this is very interesting. So there's a culture back in the day of Paul and what it was is that the meat market would cut up the meat but they would take it to the temple and sacrifice it to the temple there. And so there are a lot of people are like you can't eat that meat. It was sacrificed to all these false gods. So Paul had to come in and talk about that and say, you know what, um he he tried he he wanted us all to know that we can be equal. And if there's a weak person in that area who is not believing to be able to eat that food, then you know he's saying you don't eat the food with him. You bring your measure to his level. This way you guys are on equal playing field. This way that person doesn't feel lost, rejected or maybe in a hypocritical type of situation. So here now what he's saying is okay I don't want you to receive these people to doubtful disputations. See there are different levels of faith. So some believe absolutely in vegetarianism. They only want to eat the herbs of the earth. They don't want to have any meats. But we see all kinds of fads and phenomenons that go on about food and diet and diet restrictions. Uh some people are like, "I just can't eat that. That will upset my stomach." Because in their mind they believe that to be true. What if that true that you believe the truth you believe can be overcome and changed? That's a very interesting question. Paul talks about it more detail. Let's let him continue and get it from the word of God. We're in verse three. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not. And let not him which eateth not judge, distinguish, or decide him that eateth. for God hath received him. He's taking that. He's taking both of you to himself. So, he's telling you, the reader, let's say you're the side that is strong on the meat side versus the vegetarian side. He's telling you, "Hey, don't judge him and reject him for what he's doing because I'm going to receive him to myself just like I receive you to myself." And you're sitting here like, "Wait a second here." Um wait what that that's so in other words uh Paul is saying there's an equality here in the end when we come into the presence of the Lord the Lord is going to bring us all to himself. We're going to see that here very shortly. Verse four. Who art thou that judges another man's servant? I want to pause there too. Servant. That person who's eating vegetarian is a servant of God. Well, you know, they may not be a believer today, let's say, and maybe they're rejecting God today. However, God has his eyes on him. He says, "I'm going to bring them to myself one day." So, yes, God has his vessels made, and that is not for us to to judge or condemn. He's telling us, you're to receive him as if he's work as servant for God, who he's going to receive for himself. This is where we start to mature up in our Christian walk because we're beginning to realize it doesn't matter because it all has to do with where we are in the mind. Now, I've done a teaching on the mind and I've done um and it's called the mind and you can go search for it and it deals with overcoming and working through the mind. Now this is just showing you what you believe in and how not to judge with others. So but being fully persuaded in your mind. See you might be fully persuaded I got to have meat if I don't have meat. Well let's use another analogy here I think is very applicable. Look at how many denominations there are in the Christian faith. Now you have Catholicism which takes they claim leadership as the Christian faith. So they take that. So then you have all of these subdivisions which is a denomination which is Assemblies of God, Calvary Chapel, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist and so on. There are a lot. Which ones are right and which ones are wrong? You see, a Methodist will be fully persuaded in his mind, these are the commandments I need to follow. These came from scripture. This is what I stand on. The Baptist will be saying the same thing. And here's what the world is hearing though, and I really want you to catch this because I've talked about this in other teachings. The world hears, well, which one is right or wrong? And if you're standing there saying, hey, I got the best ones. you. I will make sure you get to heaven through through our denomination. Now, is that correct? Do we have the right to judge or condemn that? No. Because God is going to bring them to himself anyways. Which means the Holy Spirit is working in their lives. Let's continue on. And I said, "So who so and he's asking us, who are thou to judge another man's service? Who are you?" I mean, let let's come down to what do we believe in in our mind? And is it fully correct and right? This should be a great example for us to look at ourselves here because we may believe it to be true, but that doesn't mean it was true or accurate. Imagine being taught all these years, raised in a church, raised in a school, and they gave you all this information, and then you come back and you find out later about somebody or something that wasn't the way you were taught, which way is right. This is when you have to go to the Holy Spirit. This is when you have to say, "Okay, I need help, Lord, because I don't know who to believe in anymore. I don't know. I I had my trust in this. This was my truth. This was my foundation. This is what I believe in. He believes something different. Is it right? Is it wrong? What this ought to do to each and every one of us is convince us to go into the word and look at it more thoroughly and to ask the Holy Spirit, ask God, help us to understand this because yeah, who are we? We're definitely not the creator. And if you're somebody who thinks you've written so uh a study Bible even or you've done deep teachings, you don't know everything. And that's okay. Hey, none of us know everything. This is why who are we to judge? We shouldn't be judging. We should be accepting and just try to maintain the peace, which is what a Christian ought to be doing. So to his own master he standeth or falleth. You see, when we stand before God in our walk, some of us are going to fall, some of us are going to fail, but we get back up and we stand before Christ. Then there's some of us who it may take a lot longer to fall, but either way, we all have fallen short of the glory of God. We all have messed up, not just to people in our lives around in the world, but to our father in heaven. And that is when we have to come to realize, yeah, who am I? Should I be judging? No, I'm just a human little being with God living in my heart. Amen. And I should just be trusting in him. Which then comes back to what I've been standing on for years now. Pray for them and pray for yourself. Amen. Hallelujah. So he says to his own master he standeth their folly. Yeah. He shall be whole enough for God is able to make him stand. Did you see that? God is able to take care of them. So when you partner with God, because that's what Christianity is all about. You having a relationship with God, you start reading these scriptures and you start working in and diving in and you start finding out how can I deal with this, Lord? How can I fix this? What can be done? And he says start with you and pray for him or her. And this way God heals the differences between us. That's what this whole chapter is about is bringing a healing in. But realize who the healing is coming from. God. So it mean it means we have to humble ourselves to God. I I mean seriously uh I don't have all the answers. You know, our teaching here is a supplemental teaching for you to get from what you already get from your pastor in your own church and who you follow and listen to. We're hoping that by teaching you the word of God in depth uh from the perspective that the Lord has revealed to us that it would just open your eyes a little bit more. You see, you know a part, I know a part. And when we put our two parts together, we know a bigger part. We still don't know the full picture, though. So back to our opening scripture in verse five, one man decides one day above another, another esteemth every day alike. What that simply means is let's say today's my birthday. It's not, but I make today a good day because it's my birthday. Whereas another person, it doesn't care what holidays, what birthdays come up every day is the same for him or her. So he's saying whatever day he says let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. So if somebody doesn't want to celebrate birthdays, let them. If somebody doesn't want to celebrate holidays, let them. That's between them and God and they're fully persuaded. Another way to look at this, another analogy that I think is is very applicable is what do you believe in in the the sense, you know, like uh let's use the Hispanic culture, the Mexican culture to be more specific. They strong they strongly believe that when you go from a cold atmosphere to a hot atmosphere, you're going to get sick. And they do every time because they believe it. You know, there was a man who uh this was years ago in the news, and I don't have all the details, maybe you can Google it, but he he uh purposely went into the Arctic Ocean and swam there for 30 minutes. He did a mind over matter where his core temperature would not drop and it didn't and he was perfectly fine when he got out of it. There's a lot of people who teach on uh cold water immersion theories or whatever, but yet the Hispanic culture, excuse me, the Mexican culture, they're the ones who are absolutely saying, "No, no, you're going to get sick because that's what they believe in." But then you look at both and both are true. You'll see that happen with the Mexicans. They get sick. I used to work with several and when it got hot to cold back to hot, they always got sick because that's what they believed in. And yet you can have a mind over matter in a s because our mind is made this way. Think of it like this another analogy. There's a car accident and somebody's pinned and you know, hey, if I can just lift this vehicle up, they can get out of from being pinned. And so you just go and do it and you just can't figure out how you couldn't do it because you were in the heat of the moment. The adrenaline was flying or flowing through your body and you just knew that if you can lift that car and you did it like the woman with the issue of blood. She just knew that she can touch the hem of Jesus garment she would be healed. And he said your faith made you whole. This is being fully persuaded in your mind. Your mind is what's going to make a reality of your physical body. If you believe in veganism, you believe in eating all meat, you you believe, you will fall under the construct of that belief, whatever it may be. But if you're one of those who I'm not going to get sick, you won't get sick. Now, there are other things that go around on all of this, but where your mind is, you need to be fully persuaded in your mind. Read that again. Verse five. Oh, I already moved on. I'll go back. I think it's worth it. Let's go back. Says, "One man esteemth one day above another, another esteemth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind." So when you take the scriptures and you want to believe in them, have the faith to believe them in them and ask God to help you with your unbelief. The centurion asked God one time to help him with his unbelief. That's how God works. And he's going to get you fully persuaded in your mind. You know, when I stepped away from all of the diabetic drugs and all that stuff before we moved here to Missouri, I taught on this. uh shared it before in other teachings. There were videos I was watching of all the stuff the Lord was bringing across my my social media feed um books with titles and I would read and I would be like wait a second is this true what the doctors are saying or not. So talking about cholesterol used to be that number 300 was good. I range about 236 but they wanted me under 200. Then they wanted me under 190, but then there's that side effect of dementia or Alzheimer's and then you find out your brain needs a coding of cholesterol. Anyways, as you go through the process of realizing the truth, you become fully persuaded in your mind. And that's exactly what happened to me. I'm being fully persuaded that no, those drugs are not for me. That's how God works in us. So to get out of it, you've got to go through your process so that you can walk in your faith and be fully persuaded. Verse six, he that regardeth which is exercising the mind or you're having an opinion which is my opinion is I don't agree with the cholesterol drugs because I've seen the other side and I know what it was doing to my own body and I would get dizzy from it and it was like no I and then they would tell me well you just can't stop taking and I'd be like well I did and I'm fine in fact I feel better now than I ever did because I became fully persuaded in my mind and there was nothing they can do to convince me otherwise. And by the way, I'm still feeling the best I've ever felt. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus, for my healing. So, exercise my have an opinion the day. So, he that regarded that day regarded it unto the Lord. And he that regardeth not the day to the Lord, he didn't regard it to the Lord. He that eateth eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks. And he that eateth not to the Lord, he eateth not and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. So see when let's say blessing your food. I am a big big person on blessing food. I believe you got to bless the food. And to do it, by the way, to get myself into that new habit, it took some effort. There were days, I mean, I wrote notes, big notes, put it on my plate of food or right in front of it, mind me, bless the food because I had to learn a new habit because I did not grow up blessing the food. And I wanted to bless all my food because I believe that if I ate it and it was blessed, it's going to go through my stomach like it's supposed to. That's I'm fully persuaded by that. But look, there are many who don't bless their food and nothing happens to them because it hasn't come across that and and you haven't you know you're fine. Who am I to judge that person or who are you to judge me in blessing the food? And I'm telling you there were days I spit the food out because I realized I didn't pray. Had I seen this scripture, my my whole eating would be totally different. But you see, we live and we die to what we believe in. If you believe the doctors, you were given a bad um you know, my mom was given a cancer uh that she had cancer and here she just passed away. I have to wonder, had she just believed, see, who am I? Who am I? But I know that God is in control and that God took care of my mom and I know that he met her needs and that she was comforted. And you know what? She's home with him now. She's not suffering. Praise the Lord. Amen. Verse eight. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord. And whether we die, we die unto the Lord. Whether we live, therefore, or die, we are the Lords. One of the things that really got me more onto this side was when Hamas had attacked Israel and the church I'm attending right now, they had a meeting, uh, a prayer meeting. We all met to pray. And there I am, very excited. Pray for Israel. Woohoo. and they wanted to pray for the terrorists, the Hamas terrorists. And I was like, and I've already taught on that before, but I remember coming home being convicted by the Holy Spirit. And it the thing that got me, God clearly telling me, I love them just as much as I love you. So, we are the Lord's, even the evil ones. Verse nine, for to this end Christ both died and rose and revived that he might be Lord both of the dead and the living. How many of us are walking dead on this earth? Because we don't believe. And how many of us are walking alive in this world? Because we do believe. We all belong to the Lord. Verse 10. But why thou judge thy brother? Why thou said and not thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment or the bema tribunal seat of Christ. For it is written, as I live, sayeth the Lord, every knee shall bow or bend to me, and every tongue shall confess, agree fully to God. That is where it all comes out. That is the conclusion of the matter. It comes down to we belong to the Lord. We're all going to bow down to the Lord. We have to go through Christ. He says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the father except through me. But if you decide not to do that, you're still going to bow because everybody bows before the Lord. Everybody is going to convince uh confess Jesus as Lord because that's the scriptures been prophesied. Verse 12. So then every one of us shall give an account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one another anymore, but judge this rather that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. I do not want anyone to trip or fail because of anything I say or believe. And I am hoping that you understand that when I teach something, I am teaching from faith that the Lord has revealed to me and I stand in that and I am blessed by that because I am fully persuaded by that in my mind. I do encourage you to get into the presence of the Lord and find out more about him and become fully persuaded as well because that is who our God is. He wants us to believe and believe to the full maturation of his word to that uh word to magnify and come out of us absolutely and totally so that in 1 John 5:20 and we know we're aware that the son of God has come and hath given us an understanding deep thought that we may know absolutely know him that is true and we are in him that is true even in his son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. And this is what I'm encourage encouraging everybody to do. Get right with God. Stand with him. And his teaching is let's not judge the others, but let's pray for them. And imagine taking your prayer life to a whole new level with Christ because he's calling you to do that so that you love them just as much as he loves them and you love yourself just as much as he loves you. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word, that your word does not return void. And I pray that in our hearts and minds that we decide to put that judgment aside and that we decide to pray for others, that we decide to pray for ourselves, that we decide to open the door for you to come in and change the way we think and do things. That you come in and that you make us help us understand that your word is true. make us help us understand. You know what I'm trying to say, Father God. And I thank you for what you're doing in our hearts and in our minds, helping us to stand strong in your faith and not uh hurt anyone or put a stumbling block in anyone, but that we are there fully persuaded that you are our God and whatever we do, we do in your name. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. God bless you and I will see you in the next message. Home Previous Next
- THE INTERMISSION DOUBLE PORTION | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
THE INTERMISSION DOUBLE PORTION To reveal the biblical and spiritual significance of the Sabbath as an “intermission” established by God, showing how His provision of a double portion on the sixth day is both a miracle and a sign of His lordship. The teaching aims to help believers understand how Jesus’ actions on the Sabbath reveal deeper truths about rest, healing, and God’s continual ministry, while guiding Christians today to embrace Sabbath rest as spiritual refreshment, restoration, and protection in Christ. THE INTERMISSION DOUBLE PORTION Minister Lisa Kane October 16, 2024 Objective: To reveal the biblical and spiritual significance of the Sabbath as an “intermission” established by God, showing how His provision of a double portion on the sixth day is both a miracle and a sign of His lordship. The teaching aims to help believers understand how Jesus’ actions on the Sabbath reveal deeper truths about rest, healing, and God’s continual ministry, while guiding Christians today to embrace Sabbath rest as spiritual refreshment, restoration, and protection in Christ. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa Kane explores the revelation of the Sabbath as more than a commandment—it is an intermission designed by God for His people’s rest, renewal, and recognition of His provision. Beginning with Luke 14 and John 5, she shows how Jesus healed on the Sabbath, challenging the Pharisees’ legalistic view and revealing that God’s work of healing and compassion never ceases. These events demonstrate that the Sabbath is not about restriction but about encountering God’s restorative power. Turning to Exodus 16 and 31, the message highlights how God provided manna in double measure on the sixth day, ensuring Israel could rest on the seventh without lack. This miracle served as a sign across generations that He alone is Lord and sustainer. The Sabbath becomes not just physical rest, but a divine pause where believers witness God’s provision and protection. Lisa applies this revelation to the New Covenant, showing that the believer’s body is now the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6). Rest is not limited to one day but can be practiced daily by entering the secret place with God (Psalm 91). The double portion manifests as spiritual, emotional, and physical renewal, giving strength for life’s battles, intercessory prayer, and ministry. Even in trials—such as caring for loved ones during illness—God provides sustaining rest and peace through His presence. The teaching concludes with practical encouragement: to intentionally set aside intermission time with the Lord, whether an entire day or moments throughout the week. By doing so, believers experience God’s hedge of protection, refreshment of spirit, and the miracle of provision that confirms His lordship. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this teaching on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you that your word does not return void. We thank you for the revelation of your word and the double portion of what the Sabbath is all about. And I thank you, Father God, for teaching us your word and how to enter into your rest, knowing the miracle that you performed on day six. You are amazing, glorious, faithful, true. Let your word not be snatched out of us. But place your hedge of protection around that word within our hearts and in our soul and in our spirit so we do not forget your word and the revelation that you have given us. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Oh, I've got such a neat new teaching here. It is um fresh revelation is what I like to call it. So, I'm calling this message the intermission double portion. So, let's go into our opening scripture here in Luke 14:3. And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath day? So, we're going to be talking about the Sabbath day here. But one of the things is when you look at Luke here and you we're going to look at Luke um 14 here in John 5 and then we're going to get into Exodus because we're going to need to understand what the Sabbath is about. You're going to see that there is a uh a revelation of a miracle that God performs every week for you and I for anyone. This is a sign that he has given us. And in fact, because Israel messed up with this sign, they owed God 490 years of suffering. Well, they've served 483. They still got 70 years to go. This is about that, but we're going to see it how it applies to the believers in Christ today, as well as how the Lord established it with Israel back in the day. So, and we're going to see how Jesus transforms this because he's the one who established it in the beginning and we're going to get there, but you're going to see him interact with this because you're going to see how the Pharisees and the Sadducees for that matter anyone else missed it. That's what happens. So, you have to spend time with the Lord, dwell in the Lord so you can get it. And it wasn't taught to me. I just got it because it was taught to me by the Holy Spirit. So, let's get in there. We're going to be in Luke 14 here. We're going to read verses 1-6. And it came to pass as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the Sabbath day that they watched him. I want to bring some revelation to that. They watched him. They set him up with this. So, watch how Jesus handles the setup. They are purposely trying to trip Jesus. Okay, watch how he handles it. Verse two. And behold, there was a certain man before him which had the drop seat. Now, keep in mind, he's invited to one of the chief Pharisees and they're having a dinner. Usually, when they're having a dinner, they're not going to bring in somebody with sickness to their table because they're trying to make an impression. Oh, but they brought this man in because they want to set Jesus up. Now watch verse three. And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath day?" And they held their peace. And he took him and healed him and let him go, and answered them, saying, "Which of you shall have an axe, an ass, or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the Sabbath day?" And they could not answer him again to these things. So Jesus put it right back on them. Like there's a loophole here in the Sabbath day. He's saying that if you have a donkey uh or an ox and it falls into a ditch or for that matter, do you not even feed your animals because it's work? But your animals are your livelihood. See, the Pharisees took the Sabbath day as you can't do any work in there at all. But you got to feed your animals. You got to feed yourselves. And feeding the animals requires you to go feed them. Especially when you keep them in captivity for you know milking and and providing the eggs or whatever your animals are. You have to go feed them. It becomes a daily job. But yet we have this Sabbath day that you're not supposed to work on. And the Pharisees are trying to trip Jesus up on you're healing on the Sabbath day. Now I want you to see something. Jesus healed on the Sabbath day. So that means there's something here that the Pharisees are missing and maybe something we're not understanding. Let's go to another event that Jesus did in John chapter 5. Let's go through verses 5 through 18. And a certain man was there which had an infirmity 38 30 and 8 years. First of all, if you have the ability to heal somebody, it's in a talent. You have the gift, the gift of the Holy Spirit. He gives this to you. Heal the people. This man should not have been sick for 38 years. And yet he was. And this is the compassion Jesus had. So let's continue on. Verse six. And when Jesus saw him lie and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, wilt thou be made whole? He's asking this man who's been sick for 38 years, do you want to be healed? Look at the man's answer. This is fascinating. Verse 7, the impotent man answered him, "Sir, I have no man when the water is troubled to put me into the pool. But while I am coming, another stepeth down before me." Let's pause here. Let's set up the scene here. This is at the pool of shalom. And basically what happens is an angel will stir up the water and when you see that and you're sick, you jump in, you're healed. And that was the in fact archaeologists have found the pool of Shiloh in the city of David. So it's a real place. This is a real event that took place. This is not a parable. This is not a story. This is a real event. And Jesus is going to heal this man. So what this man says though, he says um in a way he's saying, let's look at it. He's saying I have no man when the water is troubled to put me in the pool. while I am coming another step it down. So he's he gives the excuse but he's saying I'm trying on my own to get there. So now you're seeing this event taking place where this man who's been sick for 38 years can't get to the water fast enough. He hasn't thought out of the box to try to be on the edge when it's ready. I don't know. He He's in this situation. In a way, he's accepted his sickness of 38 years and he's got excuses. Now, watch what Jesus does because this is this gets real interesting real fast. Verse 8, Jesus saith unto him, "Rise, take up thy bed, and walk." And immediately the man was made whole, took up his bed, and walked. And on the same day was the Sabbath. So, here's the Sabbath day. This is your intermission. by the word. By the way, the word Sabbath means intermission. And this man is healed on the Sabbath. So is another Sabbath day. Another man being healed by Jesus on the Sabbath day where you're not supposed to do any work. Not only is he not supposed to do any work, he's telling this man to get up, walk, and carry your bed. He's going to carry the bed on the Sabbath day. Carrying a bed on the Sabbath day is work, but Jesus tells him to do it. And the man gets up and he carries his bed. He's being obedient to the word of the Lord on the Sabbath day. Now watch this. Verse 10. The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, "It is the Sabbath day. It is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed." And he answered them, "He that made me whole, the same said unto me, take up thy bed and walk." Then asked they him, "What man is that which said unto thee, take up thy bed and walk?" And he that was healed was not who it was, for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in place. So basically, Jesus got out of the way. He So he healed this man. He leaves. This man doesn't know who Jesus is. He gets healed and then he's walking around with his bed because he was told by Jesus to carry it and the Pharisees are saying, "You can't do that." He says, "No, this guy told me to get up and carry my bed and I'm doing that." And they're like, "Well, who is he? I don't know who he is." So now catch up where they're at. They're coming into the temple. Verse 14, afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple and said unto him, "Behold, thou art made whole. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." Now I want to pause here because this is another entire teaching and teachings I have been teaching on for many times now that the consequence of sin is sickness. So here not only did Jesus physically heal his body, he healed his soul and he's telling him don't sin anymore otherwise it's going to get worse. We don't want it to get worse. Okay. So now coming into verse 15, the man departed. He left the temple and told the Jews that it was Jesus which had made him whole. And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus and sought to slay him because he had done these things on the Sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, "My father worketh." That word workketh means toil, be engaged in, minister about. ministering. This is a Sabbath day, and God still ministers on the Sabbath day. Watch this. But Jesus answered them, "My father worketh hither to, and I work." Therefore, the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was his father, making himself equal with God. So, what are the Pharisees really upset about here? Let we can go down a little further into the root of this. They're supposed to be healing the people. They're not. They can't. Nothing's happening. They've done everything they can. On top of it, they've put themselves in a situation where they have constructed their um ministry to six days a week and the seventh nobody is allowed to get sick and nobody's allowed to have any issues, which by the way is scriptural and we're going to see the double portion of God's miracle make that possible. But here you're seeing there are sick people on the Sabbath. What do you do? So Jesus is showing the world, hey, I'm going to minister. I'm going to heal you on the Sabbath. So there's something about the Sabbath though that we need to get because we got to figure this out. What are this Pharisees doing? And what is God doing? Because there's something here that we should be getting. So, let's go to Exodus 16:29. I want to read this and then I'm going to give you the context of it because there's a lot of scripture that can go with this. See, for that the Lord hath given you the Sabbath. Therefore, he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days. Abide ye every man in his place. Let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. So, right here is where God he established it though at at creation. But here he's teaching the Israelites what the Sabbath is all about. This is where they are in the wilderness for 40 years. They are in this wilderness and God provides mana for them. So first thing he tells them is to go out and grab just the amount that you need. No more, no less. Don't save any of it. So they go out, they grab it. Some grabbed extra. They tried to save it. The next day it was filled with worms and it it decayed. So now God tells Moses to tell them, "Go out and get a double portion on day six because it's going to cover you for day seven. Don't go out on day seven." So now, of course, day seven, some people still went out and Moses like, "You're just not being obedient. God's telling you to be obedient." Now, here's where things get very interesting. God says, "I'm going to give you double portion on the sab on it's a Saturday the or the day before the Sabbath, which I think is a Friday for them. So they have a day before where they're getting a double portion. So when they go to eat on the Sabbath, it's fresh mana, fresh food they didn't have to go work for because God performed a miracle on day six and gave them a double portion so that it covers them for the two days. Now, why does God do that? Let's go further in Exodus. Let's go to Exodus 31. And we're going to read verses 12- 15. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, "Verily, my Sabbaths," here's that word Sabbath, it means intermission, ye shall keep. For it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify, which is clean, upon holy you. Ye shall keep the Sabbath, or intermission, therefore, for it is holy unto you. Everyone that defileth it shall surely be put to death. For whosoever doeth any work, deput, employment, ministry, therein that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done, but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. So what is the Lord talking about here? It's a sign. You see, God wants to know you are Lord. Let's read that one more time. This is in verse 13. For it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations that you may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you. You see, God performs a miracle on day six. And if they had kept that because they would have their double portion, everything is doubled on day six. Everything is provided. What happens is when you teach your children, look, God gave me two amounts, one for today, one for tomorrow, so that we can rest tomorrow and still have a full complete meal. It's an intermission between day six and day one. That's what day seven is all about. It's a pause, a pause of ministry, a pause, a sign. But the sign is the miracle. The miracle is that the people when they see the miracle, wow, I only had enough on day five, day four, day three, day two, day one. But on day six, they got a double portion. It's a miracle. And what happens is those that see it know there's a God. And they know he is God. He is Lord. And they receive that. And they begin to have this relationship with the Lord because they're recognizing what the Lord does. He performs a miracle on day six to cover day seven. Now Jesus showed us that he did ministry on that day. So then what does it mean? Does it have to be on day six? Because see now it's something is a little bit different. Jesus changed things up. So, he wants us to see the miracle on day six. He still wants us to have the rest so that we know he's Lord. But what has he done? That's what we got to look at. Let's go to 1 Corinthians 6:19 and 20. What know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are gods. Now, we're seeing something happening here. You are seeing a a new thing from Jesus. Our body is now the temple. The Israelites had Moses built a temple. They couldn't even enter that temple. Only Moses could. And then it would only be the Levi priests going forward. They did not allow it. Now the temple is in us. So our physical bodies need rest. And because we need to have an intermission, what happens? The first thing you get sick. You get tired. You want to sleep. You lay down. Take some medicine. And why did you get sick? Maybe you were running ragged. There are a lot of um beliefs throughout the different cultures. One culture believes going between hot and cold is the reason why you get sick, but people think they get sick because of whatever. You can put your belief in there. What if I told you God allowed you to get that cold because he's trying to get you to rest because your body is his temple. Now watch this. When you dwell in the temple of God, which means he's within you, which means you have to create a secret place. And we're going to go to that scripture here in just a moment. When you do that, your double portion was already given to you the day before. And all it is is now you're filling up with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, with the Holy Ghost. It refreshes you. You are resting. Even if you are in ministry seven days a week, now he tells you to take a whole day. But if you take an hour, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, but you intercede, you break that into your day, that is your double portion rest. Now, you can do this many different ways. You see, if I come into the I spend time with the Lord every morning and I've got certain days that are longer and I've worked it out with the Lord where I spend time in prayer. I spend time in the word. I spend time studying. That is my intermission. That's my rest. That's my Sabbath. And it builds up as each day goes by. I'm an intercessory prayer warrior. But I don't I pray at church on Sundays and I'm just praising the Lord and worshiping him. Saturdays is more like a popcorn prayer because these are my intermission days. This is where the Lord moves. So he moves with me on the days that he has established for me because I am entering into the rest time that I need with the Lord. pausing in the ministry but still knowing that when I prayed on Thursday, Friday, whatever, it will go into the next thing. Now, here's the miracle. I want you to catch this. When Jesus provides the double portion, God provides the double portion on day six, he provides a miracle where remember what Jesus said when your donkey or your ox falls into a ditch. What happens on that day six is the double portion is provided so you have rest. Nothing will interrupt the intermission, the rest, because God already took care of it. So that you're at rest and you're at peace on that day, you set aside for him. So that means every time I go in to dwell in the Lord um in my secret place, which is this room right here, when I go in and I dwell in, the Lord already placed a hedge of protection around me where I'm not going to be interrupted. I'm not going to be disturbed by sudden things. It will happen those things because those things do happen, but it's not going to happen in my intermission time with the Lord. That's the miracle. And why? Because then I know that he is Lord. He's got me. That's what the intermission Sabbath is all about. So that you see the double portion. You see the hedge of protection. A double portion of what? Well, your rest, his hedge of protection, your blessings, everything is there. He gives it to you where you won't get sick because you are dwelling in the secret place. You're giving your body the rest it needs. And it's not just the physical body that is the temple. Your spirit is restored, refreshed, reconciled with the Lord, redeemed. And you recognize that and you are you're feeling great. As you know, I just did a teaching last week where I actually shared our personal testimony and dealing with my mom and her cancer that she's having to deal with. Well, guess what? Look at me refreshed now. Look, it has been a spiritual battle. I mean, everything we've been dealing with, I shared that in the last teaching. Go check it out if you're interested. And it's been an attack and she was in the hospital for 10 days. There was no intermission. So, when you come out of that, and yes, that was battle number one because we were dealing with the blood clots. Now, we're in battle number two because we're spiritual battle now that she has to have chemotherapy for the this cancer. Well, guess what? I love what the doctor said. He says, "This is treatable. This is it. It's only lifethreatening if you don't treat it. All it needs to do is be contained and you will have a full quality of healthy life ahead of you for as many years as you're still going to be here on this earth. So now that we know this is attainable. So we're in the second part. The intermission was I went to the Lord, spent time with him, dwelled in his word, and actually he gave me this revelation right in the middle of all of this. So, I'm sharing this with you so that you know when you're being attacked, once you enter into the secret place with the Lord, you are in that peace. you are in that comfort because you are getting the double portion and allowing your physical body to rest. Because I'm gonna tell you right now, one of the things that happens when you're dealing with a spiritual warfare thing like this, especially finding out bad news, it uh it impacts your psyche, your emotional system. And when your emotions are just out of control, what's the first thing? Usually your defense system goes down. You get sick because you're tired. You're run down. You're feeling all the the attack of everything and it seems like it's the end of the world. But God, let's go to Psalm 91 now. Verses 1 and two. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress, my God. In him will I trust. Because that's what the Sabbath is about. You're trusting on the double portion of the day before to get you through the intermission that your body, your spirit, your soul needs. And then you know that he is Lord because he has provided. Oh, you can't ask for anything better than this. Amen. So what can you do? How do you establish a day? You can take an entire day if you want and that way your day is established just for you and God and peace and relaxation. Sometimes people like to go on a hike and go up to the top of a mountain and sit down. Let that be your day of intermission. If it's staying in bed for half the day, uh, and then just grabbing some soup or something, take that type of a day. have that day. Dwell in the the secret place with the Lord, but put him first in that day. Go to him. Say, "Lord, today is a day of rest and I'm coming into resting you. I'm going to allow my body to rest. I'm not going to be stressed out because I already know that you provided the double portion of my rest on the day I needed it and then the day after. And I'm doing what your word tells me to do. One, I'm dwelling in the secret place. And two, I'm obtaining the double portion that you have provided me with so I can be sustained as I pause, take the break like you did, Lord, so I can continue on with whatever I need to continue on, which is working, battling, spiritual warfare. I deal with that uh because I'm an intercessory prayer warrior. So these are the things that you can do. Get that time with the Lord. Get your rest. Stop. Pause. Breathe. If it just needs to be an hour, then do that. But listen to the Lord talk to you. He's going to be bringing you into a place where you will have that rest. Amen. He's going to set your world around in a way that you will have that intermission. And I'm gonna tell you right now, you will be better off doing this and being refreshed to do the battle, whatever God has called you to do in your week than if you don't do this at all. Now, I do it as a daily thing because I spend time with the Lord, but at the same time, I have things I have to get done that needs work, but I have day a day where I just, okay, Lord, it's just you and me and nothing else. And then I I give him that day. I even bless the day. I said, "Lord, this day belongs to you. I bless it and give it to you." I encourage you to get in and have that rest with the Lord. You should never be tired. His yoke is not heavy. It's not a heavy burden. It's not uh choking you. It is a light thing. And you should be able to do ministry whenever you're called to do it because he has established a resting period in you by providing you the double portion from the day before because he will always take care of you on that day of rest. And I don't think you will even have any issues come against you because God protected. He wants you to have that rest. And when you make it a point to have that rest, he's gonna stop the whole world and keep them from interrupting your rest because you will know then that he is Lord. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word. I pray that the enemy does not snatch this word away from us, but that it dwells deeply within us. that we apply it to our lives and that we live in the rest that you have given us and be able to still be that soldier or that warrior or that whatever we have to do to either provide for our families as we go to work but we have that intermission the rest that you have given us that you abide and that you've taken care of everything with the double portion from the day before. Thank you for keeping us whole, well, healthy and strong in you. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Amen. God bless each and every one of you and I'll see you in the next message. Bye-bye. DOMINION Equip believers to exercise God-given dominion by operating in Christ’s authority and grace, not human strength—rejecting presumptuous warfare, rooting out iniquity/idolatry, and embracing a Spirit-led identity—so they can contend decisively with the enemy and contend for real breakthrough. < Back DOMINION Pastor Marcos Marrero February 9, 2007 Objective: Equip believers to exercise God-given dominion by operating in Christ’s authority and grace, not human strength—rejecting presumptuous warfare, rooting out iniquity/idolatry, and embracing a Spirit-led identity—so they can contend decisively with the enemy and contend for real breakthrough. Synopsis: The message opens with a prayer for a spiritual breakthrough and a testimony about learning to teach only what the Holy Spirit gives. From there, it frames dominion biblically as “treading down” the enemy, contrasting authority (exousia) with power (dunamis): authority—like a traffic officer’s badge—outweighs raw power because it’s backed by God’s government (Lk 10:19; Ps 149). Three dominion-leaks are exposed: Presumptuous sins—launching into spiritual warfare from pride or self-effort, which cedes ground to the enemy (Ps 19:13). Iniquity/idolatry—compromises with cultural traditions that dilute consecration and blunt spiritual authority (Ps 119:133). Sin as “missing the mark”—living under law empowers failure, while grace empowers obedience and victory (Rom 6:14; “Grace, grace” to the mountain). Practical counsel follows: wait for God’s timing before confronting higher powers; cleanse idolatrous mixtures; wage warfare by executing the written judgments of Scripture in Jesus’ name; and adopt a deliverance mindset that is decisive rather than drawn-out. Identity is central: “By the grace of God I am what I am” (1 Cor 15:10). As saints align with who God says they are, temptations and accusations lose their hold, and setbacks become set-ups for advancement (Titus 2:11). The message closes with a call for corporate agreement to confront local principalities under the Lord’s commission, expecting breakthrough to manifest first in the spirit and then in the natural, followed by prayer. Inspired Teaching: what the Holy Spirit is speaking into my ears, Father God, to speak out. I pray that you anoint our ears to hear, our heart to understand. And Father God, thank you for favor, dear Lord Jesus. We've been battling and battling and battling, Father God. We're ready for a breakthrough. We want a breakthrough tonight, Father God. It doesn't have to show up in the physical, but we want it to take place in the spiritual tonight, Father God. We want those giants, Father God, to be decapitated, Father God. We want whoever is holding the anointing and the finances and and the the release of the good things that you have for us. Whoever is holding him now, we cut those hands off, Father God. We cut shop those heads up, Father God. And we proclaim a release in the spirit tonight, Father God. A release of the abundance of your grace and your mercy and every all the provision that you have already prepared for us in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Praise God. Uh something strange about the message tonight. Right in the middle of it as I was preparing it, the Lord stopped and when he stopped, I stopped. And then I said, "Well, maybe the Lord will give me the rest of it in the morning." And so I got up this morning and as you can see, we got half a message. So the other half the Lord will work at us as he sees fit. Okay. I I got to tell you a story. This is really uh uh about the teaching. When I got saved, I definitely had the anointing for teaching. His grandpa was a true teacher of the word and love way that uh that he did all that stuff. And I aspire man. I wanted to be a teacher like him. That was like, you know, my desire and I knew I had the calling. And so, but I was so afraid that I was going to say and write and so I would take his tapes and lesson two and every lesson that I ever taught was what he taught up to the jokes and everything. I wouldn't teach anything else. I was just afraid that I was going to mess up. And that worked for a little while. And then finally uh as as I got grounded a couple of years went by then the Lord began to say you know what you got to speak what I tell you and and then you know man and I thought it oh man I might say something wrong or whatever. So anyway the anointing stopped the anointing stopped and for a year I went by and and always had teaching opportunities. We were doing the different things and uh and just things wasn't working. And then one day the Lord clearly spoke to me. He says, uh, you know, if you want the anointing and the teaching, you have to teach what I give you. And if you make a fool of yourself, you have to be willing to do that. I mean, everybody that serves me had to be willing to do that. You okay? Okay. I thought it was my teaching. Okay. I'm okay here. We're gonna have fun tonight. Uh, so, but anyway, this is this is what happened. Joe Herrera who had a a class that he taught on Monday nights is called Keys to the Kingdom. He invited me to speak and the minute he invited me to speak, the Lord spoke to me and said, "You're going to speak what I tell you to speak and and what I choose." So I said, "Fine." And you know, it was a thing with pride with me. I have to have everything together and everything. So a week goes by, I don't hear nothing from the Lord. Four days go by and so I'm teaching that Monday night and I have nothing, right? And finally that Monday afternoon I get there in my Bible and I pray and says, "Okay, Lord." And once I cross that line, I said to myself, I'll stand up in there. I'll make a fool of myself if I have to, but you know, I'm going to give something that the Lord gives me. As soon as I said that in my heart, the Lord said, I want you to write this. And he gave me three letters. It was joy. J O Y said that's what you're going to teach them. I remember it. I mean, this is so that that is the day that I got hooked to to to being anointed to teach. I stood up and she'll tell you my was there. He was visiting and there was quite a huh her son was and her son was there too. I stood up in there and as I began to say whatever was a joy, the Holy Spirit just came. I mean, possessed me. I had never have felt anything like that. And I began to speak on my Cuban 150 words per second type of speed. And it just like started coming out. And I swear to you, I was like, move back. I was standing here. And this was me over here. And I was rambling and I'm standing. I said, "Man, this is strange. Here I'm speaking. I'm thinking and I'm speaking, but yet I'm like up in here." But there was such an anointing and everybody that was up in there, their mouths just were like it was like the anointing just fell on everybody and on that teaching and from that time forward it felt it, you know, I never done drugs. So I don't know what that feels like, but I know what it feels to shoot something in you because I felt it that one day. From that time on, I says, "Man, this is what I want." And so, you know, every now and then, you know, we always have the anointing. And I've always pray before I prepare and and never know where I'm going and allow the Holy Spirit to take me. But this is one of the few times lately to where the Holy Spirit says we're going to do a half part uh on my own. So anyway, let's begin the Psalm 1913 and Psalm 119 133 and then Romans 6:14. If you have the page there, they're all from the uh New King James Version. But look at uh Psalm 19. He said, "Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless and shall be innocent of great or much transgression." We're going to be talking about dominion. And says there that presump presumptuous sins give the enemy dominion over us. He says, "Keep me from presumptuous sins so that the enemy will not have dominion over me." Okay. Psalm 119 133 said, "Direct my steps by your word and let no iniquity have dominion over me." There's a second thing that can give the dominion that we have to the enemy, iniquity. And iniquity, I spoke on that the whole night last week, but we'll touch in it. In Romans 6:14 says, "For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace." On the uh the definition for dominion means to tread down or to trample down. We have a mentality uh or at least I I had for many years that God somehow um put you in charge of something and it's like uh going to Margaritavville to where you sit by the beach with your coconut umbrella type of thing and you kick your feet back and you watch the the sail ships go by. You know, this is our idea of of when God gives you something. But that's not the idea. If you go to Adam and Eve, when God says, "Let us make man in their own image and let them have dominion." The word dominion means like you build you up a high tower, a watch tower, all that you can see the thing that you've been given dominion. And then you get up in there and then you keep an eye on what the Lord has given you. That's what dominion means. And every time some little critter that doesn't belong there in your terrain starts coming in, you get down and you trample down on that thing. You kick that thing out. See, the the idea here is that God says, "I am putting you in charge." It was um who was it Patton? The one that says when you're in command, command. When you're in charge, do it. You know, don't don't pussyoot around and think, "Well, maybe I'll do this." No, when you're charged, do it. You given a job to do it, do it. That's the heart of dominion. Dominion is doesn't mean, see, nothing gets the Lord more out of it than being lukewarm. And you see that in Revelation, in Revelation chapter 3, the letter to the Leo Deaya, you're lukewarm, so I spit you out. I can't use you. At least if you're raking mad against me like Saul was, I can take that energy and turn it around. You know, at least you're moving. You may be going the wrong way, but at least you're going somewhere. I can turn you around. But if you're just sitting there like a clamp, you know, there's nothing that God can do with it. So the idea of dominion is a a a being in charge and being aggressive and being motivated to do something. Okay? And the thing is that we fail to see that Satan and one-third of all of those angels that fell and follow him are very highly motivated. Those guys don't stop. Have you ever been harassed by the enemy to where he gets in your ear, gets in your case? He just doesn't give up, does it? He doesn't care that you're going to sleep. He doesn't care that you're thirsty. He doesn't care that you have to go to the bathroom. He doesn't care that you got to go. No. He's in your mind. He's in your ear. And he's just there, there, there, there, there. He won't give up. Why? Because he's treading down on us. He has dominion on this area that we're dealing with. And he doesn't give up. You know, I had that that uh revelation when we got back from the trip that one time and I came up into this place. I had the big double sword in in my hand and I looked up and as soon as I saw the the glory of the Lord was like a manifest diamond. I said, "Lord, how beautiful you are." And immediately Satan started jacking up like you know I don't belong there. I can't be shut up. I mean he bugged me. I just said shut up and immediately everything went silent. And so I look again and see this glory. Lord, how beautiful you are. He started again. I said, "Shut up." See, Satan is the accuser. He's, you know, remember the movie The Old Terminator? The guy tells the woman, "He's not going to stop until he kills you. He's just going to go after you." That's what he does. That's what he's programmed to do. We need to understand that. That's how Satan operates. That's how the demons operate. These things are highly motivated to get you to destroy you. And so what God is saying is we have to be highly motivated to destroy him. The Bible says that Jesus came that he might destroy the works of the devil. And you know Jesus was highly motivated. Jesus was highly motivated. He did not spend one single minute of his time wasting it in in watching some Super Bowl or some commercial or something. He was focused. This man came in for a purpose. He says, "I have a cross to go to three and a half years from now." And man, I'm going to go there, but I'm going to kick as many devils out of people as I can before I get there. And when I get there, I'm going to destroy them all. And then I'm going to send the thing in place. The first thing we have to understand that dominion has to do with the exercising of authority. It has to do with trampling on in in in the vision before the one that I just explained to you. I went into three different rooms uh one room at a time and they were all filled with people. And as I'm in there and I'm saying because I'm in this place is more real than where we are. I'm looking at and I'm marveling. I'm saying man what is this place that I'm in and who are these people? a minute the Holy Spirit who was in me speaks from me. He says, "Those are not people. Those are demons." And I say, "Huh?" And and then he he speaks to me. Yeah. You're going to destroy them. I mean, they was led up in this thing. The Holy Spirit says, "Do this." Bam. This baby like 18 months old stood up looking. It's not fair. It's not fair. The Holy Spirit says, "Tell him that it's none of his business." He said, "You got a problem with it? Take it with God." I said, "You have a problem? Take it with God." I took it an 18 months a little and just crushed him right down to the ground. The the voice told me, "That's not a baby. That's a demon." And you're going to crush it. I don't care what form it takes. So, in spiritual warfare, dominion is not a fancy like touch and that thing to where you do the thing. No, in spiritual warfare, we have the authority. We have the power. He raises up his head, you squash him, and that's it. next do the same thing. This is the idea spirit. But you see, we don't have that mindset. We don't have the mindset. This is why deliverance in the places where you sit there and you battle with the demons for 12 hours. I don't see that in the Bible. I don't see Jesus doing that. I don't see Paul doing that. These people couldn't have done all they did if they would have spent 12 hours on the living room on a person. You see, it comes simply by the ability to exercise dominion that we have. You know, so amazing. We can tell Satan who is, you know, as far as our person that that can cause th this dude had had the G to stand up to God. I mean, you got to be pretty up there. Well, Jesus said we have authority over him. Over him. We have authority over him. And that authority is not so that we can reason or or box him in very nicely and say, you know what, I'm going to draw this line. You're not going to cross it. No, that authority is to crush. That's what Jesus did. Jesus crushed the head of Satan. He cracked his skull when he when he crushed it. I think it's Psalm three that says the Lord shatters the teeth of the wicked. You know the picture is here as hell uh knows that that the soul of Jesus is going to come down because he just died on the cross. Him and every demon are blocking this door with all of their might. They're not going to let him in here because he's a higher ruling spirit than any spirit because he's eternal spirit God. So they're blocking the door. Jesus just comes in and kicks the door down. And as he kicks it, he shove his heel right through the mouth of every demon, including Satan. And that's why I said he shatters the teeth of the wicked. The Satan cannot bite you. He's snake without fangs. He has been defanged. So we have to understand that that is at the heart of dominion. But the opposite is true in the scriptures that we just read that if we deal with presumptuous sins, that means uh we're not walking in understanding. What happens is the enemy can take advantage of the advantage. Also, if we do not deal with inequity, he can have dominion over us and also sin. And and notice that he puts in Romans 6:14, you're not under law, but but under grace. So let's begin now with with understanding how this work. Luke 10:19, Jesus says, "Behold, I give you the authority to trample." That means to tread down. That's that's what dominion is. I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Now notice that when Jesus is talking about he's not talking about the creatures that crawl along the ground. This is a picture for us of the spiritual realm. What is a serpent? A serpent hides on the dirt. A serpent it coils up. A serpent can can bite you, can poison you. A serpent can kill you. Corp the same way. So when Jesus is talking about I give you authority, he's not saying I give you authority like these people down in Texas some place over there do. They have a service and they got bunch of snakes and they all handle the snakes and stuff like that. That is not what he's talking about. He's using a physical reality to demonstrate a a a spiritual principle that snakes and scorpions talking about demons talking about principalities and power. And Jesus says, "I give you authority." The word authority is exosa. Exosea means an an ability that comes through privilege. In other words, uh it it is not because of you. It is because of the person that allows you to have that ability or privilege. you know, uh you you can go to a a a ball game and and you buy what you just can't afford, the $6 seat that you're way up in there to where you see the I went to see Karim Abdul Jabar one time to play at the forum and we were right against the wall and it looked like ants running around in the thing and I had good vision back then now I probably wouldn't be able to see it but I mean it it means that you have been given the privilege to move right out to the front right next to the front. That's what exosa means. Meaning you are enabled by privilege. The privilege has been given to you to do this. Now this is different because he says over all the power the power of the enemy is the word uh uh dunamis. The word dunamans means strength or or power. And he says that nothing shall by any means hurt you. Now the difference between authority and power is that authority is bestowed and power is inherited. Now this is very important that we understand this. If you grasp this principle, you will understand this. For example, I'm 222 pounds. Was it 220 this morning? Anyway, I can get a hold of somebody that's 100 pound and he can move a little faster. He can move a little stronger, but if I get on top of him, I got 120 lbs that I can move my weight on. So, you see that is inheritant in me. There's a power that is inherent in me to go against an Now, if I go against a guy that weighs 400 lb and a 6'8, imagine that's going to do to me. So you see power is something that is in you already. Okay? And you can move, you can throw your power around, but your power is limited to what you have. And if you come against an enemy that is more powerful than you, then you're in trouble. You understand that? Also, you can come against a karate dude that only weighs 100 pounds and he can take your 220bs and flip them all over the place. I got into a fight with with a guy in Cuba once. four friends and then he got angry about something and said, "Well, I can beat you." And we got into it. It was pretty big. He uh he weighed probably 120 pounds more than me. He was a pretty big guy and he run out of breath real fast. So I said, "Well, you want to get it on? Let's get out." You know, all the guys were. So we stand in the middle of the room there and we started going and man, I'm quick. I'm I was 122 to 30 pounds at the time and I used to play tags and I was quick. I mean I got up in there, hit him in the face and back off. I run to get behind him so he kept turning. Within 10 minutes he was he couldn't even keep his hands up. I just slap him all around. Slap him all around. I took advantage of this weakness. And that's the problem when we're operating in our own power. Satan is not only more powerful than we are because he's a spirit. He's more knowledgeable than we are because he's been around for 6,000 years. But not only that, he knows our weaknesses. Any time that we try to exercise dominion that is inheriting in our own power, he's going to get us because he's crafty. As a matter of fact, that's how he gets a lot of people. He gets up in there. Oh yeah, man. you you got it all together. You got this and before you know it, you and everything the enemy is telling you, you don't even know. You think it is you who's doing it. But he's the one that's manipulating. But see, authority is different. Authority is different because authority is not something that is inherited in you. It's something that is vested in you. I got a little example there that might help you. Here's a 100 pound police woman. Okay? She doesn't have no strength, physical strength. She doesn't have no power. She don't even have a gun. She's a traffic cop. Okay? But she has a uniform on that says she's with the police department. And here comes this big old 350 lb bley guy driving an 18-wheeler and he's coming like 60 miles an hour down the road. And here's little police woman over there stands up and say, "Huh?" Now, who's got the power and who's got the authority? The guy has the power. He's driving an 18er that can squash her, can squash a tank, can squash anything that gets in his way. That's inherited. That's what an 18-wheeler does. But see, she has the authority. The authority doesn't come inherited on her power. the the authority that she has comes because she's representing she's representing a government. She's representing a city. She's representing a state. She's representing a nation. And if that power violates that authority, he gets into trouble because all the world's going to come upon him before you know it. He'll have 150 cops, tank helicopters, and tanks. If you have to call a nuke pump, they can nuke him. That is the authority that we need to understand. that we have authority, not power. Authority is we have been privileged with ability. That ability is the word of God. As a matter of fact, Psalm uh uh I don't have it here, but we can look at it real quick. Psalm 149. If you look at Psalm 149 verse 9, it says to execute on them the written judgment. This honor have all the same. It's talking about verse seven, to execute vengeance on the nations, punishments on the people. A to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with feathers of iron, to execute on them the written judgment. This honor have all. He's saying all of us, all of the saints of God have the honor, that is a vested privilege, an ability to execute vengeance on nations, punishments on people. We have authority to bind kings with chains. We we can bind their nobles with feeders. And it says all of this come because of verse n to execute on them the written judgment. You see, we have authority that is backed up by the word of God. And that authority vests us with a privilege. Satan can come down the road and he can bring a hundred millions of his demons all with tanks and fire and bring dragons and everything. The word says that you can execute whatever God has written against him. That is our vested authority of script in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Then we just read in Luke where it says nothing shall by any means hurt you. Well, if Satan is coming to hurt you, he's violating the word of God. So I can execute upon him upon his kings, upon his princes, upon his nobles, upon the nation that is backing him up. I can execute the written judgment that is in the name of Jesus you cannot hurt me and I can be a little nothing and he can be all this big old thing but see I have authority he may have power but I have authority I can exercise that authority why because I have dominion to tread down on him but now there's a catch like there's a catch with everything and the catch is that presumptuous ious sins can cause us to give up our dominion. So that's inequity and so that's sin. So let's um deal with one of them at a time. Let's do deal with presumptive sins first. What is presumptive sin? Presump sins is when we engage in warfare against the enemy in our own strength. Selfish motivation will always give the enemy dominion over us because we are operating by our own inherited strength. You see this is at the heart of of uh what u selfishness is. Now don't you think Jesus had authority over Satan? Why is it that Jesus had to be filled with the Holy Spirit to exercise that authority? He's the son of God. Isn't that what Satan said to him? If you're the son of God, you can't turn these stones into bread. I mean, you're hungry. You haven't eaten anything for 40 days. You have power within your own strength. Why don't you do that? Isn't that what the trick was with with uh Eve? They didn't God say this? And then she began to contend with him. What did Jesus say? It is written. See, every time that Jesus says, "It is written," he's saying, "I'm not dealing with you on my own strength, even though I'm the son of God, and even though I have all of this power and authority, I'm dealing with you according to what it is written in the word." The word says, "Thou shalt not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceedth." So, what Jesus was saying is, I'm not here to do my own thing. I'm here because God sent me. You see, I believe that many of the ministers that are into ministry today are not there because of the will of God, but rather because of the will of men, the will of other men on them or their own will. And so, because of that, they're operating in power that is inherited in the self rather than in the authority and the anointing of God. You say, "Well, now you're you're saying a lot there. I'm not judging anybody. What I'm saying is if we're operating under that authority of God, then we will have power of the enemy. You see, if the ministers that operate here in the city of Wington were operating on the the authority, they would be able to stop the train wreck that is going on in this city right now. If this nation of ours was operating under the authority of God, we wouldn't have 40 million babies being aborted in the last 25 years. we wouldn't have all of this um uh uh uh drive by murders. You know, you talk about all of the violent in Iraq. More people die in our cities every day from uh violence, you know, and this is uh you know, something that you just look at a paper uh how many dead bodies, you know, that Anna Nicole Smith just like 39 years old. Uh there's curses upon our people. The the Kennedy family has a curse. Everything just comes down the line. Why can't we break those curses? Well, because if we're operating in our own strength, and I believe that that's what the problem with the church is. The church is operating out of its own strength. The church wants to bring its own perception of the kingdom of God into the earth. And as long as we do that, guess what? We're operating in our own power. So power against power, we lose. Because Satan is more powerful, more knowledgeable than everything. is only when we operate under the authority of the word of God. This is why I believe that it is so important for us to wait on the Lord because we didn't break it and we're not going to fix it. Okay? We just got to operate within a broken system that only God can fix. So, what we got to do is we got to say, "Okay, Lord, how do I fit here? How do I uh uh place myself in a position to where you can use me for whatever benefit you can use me for? And then as we do that and allow the the Holy Spirit, then there's a vesting. You see it if if you go back to the history, Adam, God gave him coats, skins of animals to Adam and his wife. And that authority of Adam was handed down was handed down from generation to generation when Seth who is the one that is said um not uh yeah said the the son of Noah no Shem when Shem the son of Noah to whom that vestage of Adam was given to him the authority Nimro led the rebellion Shem had the power to go on to kill Nimra even though Nimro was a mightier warrior that ever arose. Even though Nimra built cities and and and kingdoms and everything, he had the code of authority. Even though it was this broken down authority of Adam that came out of the even the sinful of and he was able to go in and bring the judgment of God upon the great mighty Nimrod. This nimrod was so powerful. There isn't one single day of your life that you're not touched by what this Nimrod man created. I mean this nimrod is all over the place. You see it on every nation. We watch movies and you know I went to h Key West. I go to the places you see this uh obelisk erected to him. Everywhere you go. We went to uh Louisiana was some old cemeteries from the 1600 and there you see it. Everywhere you go this is all you see. This man was so powerful has such an influence in the whole history of the world. This one man with the old raggedy clothes that he inherited from Adam had authority over him. Why? Because authority always trumps power. See, all authority comes from God. All authority comes from God. God is the ultimate backer of all authority. And when we operate on that authority of God, no matter how broken down, how messed up, how raggedy it is, it is greater than the power of the enemy. So presumptuous sins always have to do with selfish ambition. We have do this presumptuous sin always have to do with selfish ambition. Okay. I cannot go on and and you know I've been waiting now for a year and take on on whoever the principality is over the city that I'm living now in Lake Elsenor which I I've done that three times since I've been there and it was in the last couple of weeks when the Lord brought me up to the level. I want you to challenge his principality that rule over a city and challenge. You cannot do that presumptuously. How do I learn that? Maybe I shouldn't tell you. But you see, you cannot get up in there and declare war against a principality unless God is authorizing you to do it. This is what I'm saying. And what I've been telling friends, this church has been authorized to do that. Okay? It's been on the preparation of this three years. Now, I believe that the time has come for the people within this church to come into a a a an agreement and say, you know what, we are going to challenge the principalities of the cities. And the reason why it's going to work this time is because we're going to challenge the principalities, not presumptuously because we just think this is what God, you know, doing. No, because God is saying the time is here, the time is now. See, the key is waiting for the Lord to open the door. When the Lord opens the door, that's when you go through it. Amen. Now, the second is iniquity. And we dealt with this at length last week. Uh iniquity, idolatry is the root of all iniquity. And in spiritual warfare, one must rid oneself of all idolatry. The reason why Satan contaminates things is so that they become powerless against him. You have to understand that if Satan can contaminate your authority or your power, then he can he's able to survive whatever we're coming against him. For example, if you uh uh prepare a glass full of poison and and then you can dilute that poison, then the poison is have the effect that is supposed to have it. This is what Satan has done against all of us Christians. He has deluded our author our authority because of idolatry. See, idolatry is at the root of Nimrod. Nimrod uh uh who is the baby that is worshiped at Christmas. Who is the uh the the the sun god that they worship in Easter? He is behind the Valentine's the cupid. He's behind the the the dead when the loia muertos or or the Halloween all of the thing is behind all of that. And this religion has permeated society such a great and vast way that our dominion over the enemy has been compromised. So that when we say to Satan, we bind them in the name of Jesus, there's nothing there. And the reason why there's nothing there because we have compromised. You see, idolatry is is harlotry. It's just like uh uh you know you're married to somebody but you're sleeping with somebody else and then you go up in there and and you're showing your wife oh yeah where and everybody out there looking knows that you're sleeping with somebody else. Well what what is to say you have not the respect of the people. I mean, I remember this as a boy growing up in Cuba, seeing um you know, things that you shouldn't see. It's a very small town and and words gets around and seeing a woman and a guy that were married to other people and then you see them on a social setting when they're together. You had no respect for those people. I look at I said, I can't believe that I remember that even as a young man burn my bones. You know, I just get so upset about she knows about it. We had hell for eight years when we first got married. I was so jealous. I mean, I was really messed up by seeing these things. But imagine, put yourself in the position of God. Here you are in the public church in the place and you're going to tell Satan, "I'm going to tell you where to go. Say, I'm going to cast down the spirit of divorce and I'm going to cast out the spirit of drug addiction and I'm going to cast out." And then yet we're in bed with this idolatrous thing that we're sleeping with, you know, with this tradition of men that were there. And and so because of that, there's no authority. There's no power. You're a joke. You know, you get up in there and the demons are sitting on the front row eating popcorn like that thing says. You know, they're just laughing up out loud as you're binding the spirit of the B. You know, I heard so many preachers bind the Bors and the spirit this and the spirit of that man. I there's so many spirits bound. I don't know. There's no room in the whole universe to put them. You know, we have bound so many of them. But yet the effect is not changing. Well, why? Because of idolatry. And uh uh and then you know that's what iniquity is inherited. And it is in our DNA. By the way, I believe that that idolatrous system is so is into our DNA. We so desperately want to bow down to something, worship something. We so desperately want to give into something. And for some reason, we just give it to anybody but to God. For some reason, God, you know, it's like our father. We we may love as your father and everything, but he's the last person that we can go through. We can tell everybody else in the world, you know, I remember I d Previous Next Home

RIZPAH: BLOOD CURSE The objective of this message is to teach believers the importance of understanding both blessings and curses, how they affect individuals, families, and entire nations, and how forgiveness and intercession can break cycles of judgment. By examining the story of Rizpah, King Saul, the Gibeonites, and King David, the message emphasizes the consequences of covenant-breaking, the inheritance of curses, and the role of prayer and mercy in restoring God’s blessing and rain upon the land. RIZPAH: BLOOD CURSE Minister Lisa Kane July 18, 2024 Objective: The objective of this message is to teach believers the importance of understanding both blessings and curses, how they affect individuals, families, and entire nations, and how forgiveness and intercession can break cycles of judgment. By examining the story of Rizpah, King Saul, the Gibeonites, and King David, the message emphasizes the consequences of covenant-breaking, the inheritance of curses, and the role of prayer and mercy in restoring God’s blessing and rain upon the land. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa Kane continues her series on women in the Bible, focusing on Rizpah, a concubine of King Saul and the mother of two of his sons. The message begins with 2 Samuel 21:1, where a three-year famine during King David’s reign is revealed to be a result of Saul’s violation of Israel’s covenant with the Gibeonites. Saul’s act of bloodshed against a protected people brought a generational curse upon the land. Lisa explains the history of the Gibeonites, tracing their covenant with Israel back to Joshua 9, where they used trickery to secure protection but nonetheless became bound under Israel’s oath before God. Because Saul broke this covenant, the famine was a direct judgment from God. David, seeking atonement, delivers seven descendants of Saul—including Rizpah’s two sons—to the Gibeonites, who hang them to satisfy justice. The message highlights Rizpah’s grief and perseverance as she guarded the bodies of her sons from birds and beasts until the rains returned. Her vigil displayed both mourning and a desperate connection to the consequences of sin and covenant-breaking. David, moved by her devotion, later gathers the bones of Saul, Jonathan, and the executed sons, burying them with honor. Only then does the curse lift, and God restores rain to the land. Lisa draws out the principle that curses can affect entire generations, but forgiveness, repentance, and mercy can restore blessing. She warns against the spiritual dangers of covenant-breaking, murder, and bitterness—contrasting Rizpah’s suffering with David’s merciful actions. The teaching concludes with an exhortation for believers today to intercede for their families, churches, and lands, forgiving sins, nullifying curses, and claiming God’s inheritance of rain and restoration. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this message on Thursday, July 18th, 2024. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word that it does not return void. And we pray and ask that our ears are open to listen to your word. That we hear it and that we listen to it. apply it, obey it, and uh realize what curses and blessings do and take it upon ourselves to see those curses and blessings in our lives and to recognize it and to know what to do with them, Father God. And I thank you for your word in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. I've been talking about women in the Bible and we're going to continue to do so. And we're going to be talking about a gal named Rispa. And I'm titling this message Risbot blood curse. All right, let's go to our opening scripture here in 2 Samuel 21:1. Then there was a famine or a hunger in the days of David three years, year after year, and David inquired. That word inquired says, "Search out the face that turns." So he inquired of the Lord. You see, the Lord is the one who can make things change. And the Lord answered, "It is for Saul," this is talking about King Saul, and for his bloody bloodshed that causes death. house because he slew the Gibeonites. So bloody there means the bloodshed that causes death. So he stabbed, used a sword, killed someone causing their blood to shed out of their body and they died as a result because we can't live without the blood in our body. Well, he also not just killed anyone, he killed the Gibeonites. We got to find out who the Gibeonites are because you're finding out here as we're going to find out who Rizba is here in just a moment. We got to find out what King Saul did. Because see, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. Rispa is a concubine of King Saul and had two of his sons. So, we need to go find out what King Saul had done because of what he did. He caused a curse to come on the land and there was a famine year after year, three years in a row. and David because King at this point in scripture, what we just read, King Saul is dead. So, what we just read is King David is realizing, wait a second, why is the land cursed? What's going on, Lord? But he's already dead. Saul's dead, but the curse is still alive. I hope you're catching this because I want you to see what curses and blessings do. Rispa is gonna show us and we're gonna see that in what her actions are. But remember, as a concubine of King Saul, she is part of that covering of King Saul. So, she's got a curse on her. This we're going to get to that. All right. What we need to do is we need to find out who the Gibeonites are because obviously they've got a protection on them and somehow they got killed by Saul and that brought this curse on. So let's go look at how there was a covenant made with the Gibeonites that secured the Gibeonites in the nation of Israel. Amen. So we're going to start in Joshua 9:es 2-7 that they gathered themselves together to fight with Joshua and Israel with one accord, which is one mind, one mouth. And when the inhabitants of Gibian, which is a hilly area called Gibbon, heard what Joshua, which Joshua means Jehovah saved, had done unto Jericho. And Ai, I'mma pause there real quick. Oh, the rumors have gone through the land. You see, Israel has come out of the wilderness under the leadership of Joshua, and they defeated Ai, and they defeated Jericho. Remember, the walls came tumbling down at Jericho. So these Gibeonites heard about it. Let's continue reading. I want you to see what they say. They did work willy liilly trickery and went out and made as if they had been ambassadors and took old sacks upon their asses and wine bottles old and rent and bound up and old shoes and clouded upon their feet and old garments upon them. And all the bread of their provision was dry and moldy. And they went to Joshua into the camp of Gilgal and said unto him and to the man of Israel, we become from a far country. Now therefore make ye a league or a covenant with us. And the men of Israel said unto the Hivites, per adventure ye dwell with us or among us. Uh what if you dwell among us is what they're saying. How shall we make a league with you? If you continue to read on, you will find that they convince them with their old clothes that they have been traveling a long ways. And here our bread was fresh when we left, but it's moldy now. They're lying through their teeth. But Israel didn't inquire of the Lord. Joshua didn't go to the Lord. They didn't check it out. So the princes or the leadership of the congregation got together and they made a covenant with the Gibeonites and said, "Okay, we got you covered. We're not going to kill you." Well, then Israel starts traveling. They're defeating the cities and they come to Gibbon, the Gibbeonites. Let's continue. Let's go to verse 17 now. And in chapter nine, and the and the children of Israel journeyed and came into their cities on the third day. Now their cities were there's Gibian and then Shafara, Beera, and Kirum. I know I'm butchering those names. And the children of Israel went to smoke or strike them. But realize they can't. The children of Israel smoke them not because the princes of the congregation has sworn unto them by the Lord God of Israel. And all the congregation now murmured against the princes. But all the princes said unto all the congregation, we have sworn unto them by the Lord God of Israel, now therefore we may not touch them. This we will do to them, and we will even let them live, lest wrath be upon us, because of the oath which we swear unto them. And all the princes said unto them, let them live, but let them be hewers of wood and drawers of water unto all the congregation, as the princes had promised. So Joshua calls them over, the Gibeonites, and he spake unto them, saying, "Wherefore have ye beguiled us, saying, we're from a very far country, yet you dwell among us." This is what Joshua is complaining about. So he says to them, "Now therefore ye are cursed, and there shall none of you be freed from being bondmen and heers of wood and drawers of water for the house of my God." They answered Joshua and said, "Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the Lord thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were so afraid of our lives because of you, and have done the same." And now, behold, we are in thine hand, as it seemth good, and right unto thee to do unto us do. And so did he unto them, and deliver them out of the hand of the children of Israel, that they slew them not. And Joshua made them that day heers of wood, and drawers of water for the congregation, and for the altar of the Lord, even unto this day, in the place which he should choose. Okay. The Gibeonites actually become a part of the tribe of Benjamin. You can go read that. They are now sacred. They have a covenant upon them and they are protected. Well, when God tells David about the famine, he says to him, "Well, he killed the Gibeonites. He had killed many of them. He didn't kill them all. We're going to find that out here shortly. But he goes and kills them." And he's a murderer because he's killed before. He causes people to die by draining their blood. He stabs them or does whatever. That's what King Saul was doing. You know, leaders can have a reputation of murder surrounding them. I'll just leave it at that. But that's what happened with King Saul here. But as a result of that, it caused a curse, a famine to come into the land. That was our opening scripture that we read. So, now we're going to find out about who Ryzbah is, and we're going to find out what's going on up to this time frame of David seeking the Lord because it's in that transitional period of King Saul being dead and David being alive and taking over the kingdom as the king of all of Israel and Judah. Well, at that time, we're going to find out who Ryba is. So let's go look at this transitional phase. We're going to be in 2 Samuel chapter 3. We're going to read verses 6-14. It came to pass while there was a war between the house of Saul and the house of David that Abner, which means father of light, made himself strong for the house of Saul. And Saul had a concubine whose name was Rizpah, the daughter of Aia. And Ishbasheth said to Abnner, "Wherefore wherefore hast thou gone into my father's concubine." Then was Abner very wroth. He he had a glow or grow warm. His face turned red. He He's embarrassed and angry and upset all at the same time. And it shows on the face. You You've seen that happen to people. for the words of Ishbasheth, and said, "Am I a dog's head, which against Judah, do show kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brother, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou chargeth me today with a fault concerning this woman?" See, he took the concubine in. Didn't marry her or anything. He just made her his lover, if you will. This is who Ryz is. So, she's now she was under the covenant of Saul. This guy has favor for Saul, which means he's probably a murderer, too. Or he has that kind of spirit over him. And here Risba is living in this mess. Okay, she's in this mess. And this guy is accusing him. You know, hey, where's your morals? He doesn't have any. But watch what happens next. Uh verse 9. This is Abnner still outraged. So do God to Abnner. more also except as the Lord had Lord hath sworn to David even so I do to him to translate the kingdom from the house of Saul and to set so he's saying he's in the process of translating the kingdom from the house of Saul to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah from Dan even to Beersa and he now this Ishbasheth could not answer he says and he could not answer Abnner a word again because he feared him and then here now you hear Abnner sent messengers to David on his behalf. You see, he's coming to the realization, uh, I'm not going to have this kingdom by myself. He's not going to be king. And he knows that the favor of the Lord is on David. But yet, he still has this ugly covering over him because they're all about killers, murderers, and what have you. So, Havner sent messengers to David on his behalf, saying, "Who's is the land? and saying also, "Make thy league or a covenant with me, and behold, my hand shall be with thee to bring about all Israel unto thee." Now, David is a very merciful man of God. He knows what's going on. He's not dumb. He's got part of the kingdom, and now he needs to bring the other kingdom in. And this guy is saying he can do it. So he's going to go ahead and make a covenant. Let's read what David says. He says to him in verse 13, he said, 'Well, I will make a league with thee, but one thing I require of thee, that is that thou shalt not see my face, except thou first bring Mikall Saul's daughter, when thou comest to see my face. And then look what David does here in verse 14. And David sent messengers to Ishbasheth, Saul's son, saying, deliver me my wife McCall, which I espouseed to me for 100 skins of the Philistines. In other words, David didn't trust Abnner. So, he sent messengers both ways. He agreed to Abnner and then he sent to Ishbasheth saying, "I want my wife back and he's going to make this covenant with him." So, now you see this is where Rizpa is. She's right in the middle and this transitional period is taking place. So, David is in this famine. Three years go by. It's year after year not a drop of rain has come in the land and David seeks it out. Now let's go read what happens after that. Okay. 2 Samuel 21. We start in verse one. Then there was a famine in the days of David three years year after year is our opening scripture. And David inquired of the Lord and the Lord answered it is for Saul for his bloody house because he slew the Gibeonites in. So, King David, he and the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them, now these are the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites, and the children of Israel has sworn unto them, and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah. So, I went looking for that campaign as I uh mentioned earlier, and I could not find it. The Lord did not put that campaign in scripture, his zeal, and he went after. And maybe he did, and I'm missing it. It could be that it was termed under the Amorites. But anyways, God is saying it straight up here. Saul got a little crazy with his campaign and went after and went after the Gibeonites who were part of they had become part of the tribe of Benjamin. and they had a covering, a covenant that Saul knew, because Saul is from the tribe of Benjamin. Let's continue on. Verse three. So wherefore David said unto the Gibonites, "What shall I do for you? And wherewith shall I make the atonement?" The word atonement means to cover, cancel, appease. Because he's got to atone for this curse here. That ye may bless the inheritance of the Lord. Reign is the inheritance of the Lord. You're going to find that out here in at the last scripture I have in this teaching. Rain is an inheritance of the Lord. And David is trying to restore the inheritances. And notice it's on everybody. It's on David on the good side. And it's on the Gibeonites. It's on Abnner. It's on Rispah. It's on the evil and it's on the good. It's on the entire land. The whole land is affected by what Saul did. one man who broke a covenant and caused a curse to come on the land. All it takes is one person to do something. And this is a blood curse that is affected the land. And how many droughts have we been going through in the last 25 years? Let's continue on. Verse four. And the Gibeonites said unto him, we will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house, neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you. But the Gibeonites continued, "And they answered the king, the man that consumed us," talking about Saul, "and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coast of Israel." Now, you get a little bit more of a an understanding here of what's going on. Saul tried to wipe them out. What happened to Go read the book of Esther. They tried to wipe out the Israelites and God protected the Israelites and they celebrate PUM today that Hmon I just taught on this. He tried to wipe them out. Well, you see when you try to wipe out somebody who is covered by God, you bring a curse upon yourself. Oh, I'm seeing the Abrahamic uh blessings and cursings activated here. Look at this. So, he tried to wipe them out. And so he says, this is Gibian still talking verse six. Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us and we will hang them up unto the Lord in Giba of Saul whom the Lord did choose and the king said I will give them. I'm going pause here again. Remember the Gibeonites come from the Amorites, but they've been covered by Israel because they tricked Israel into covering. So they've been chopping wood and getting water to the Israelites all these years. They have taken now on the God of Israel. That is who they serve now. So they're saying, "Okay, we're going to give us seven sons of this man who tried to kill us and we're going to hang them and that will appease and take care of the curse." And David says, "Okay, I will do that." Let's continue now to see what David does. Verse seven. But the king spared Mephishbasheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, because of the Lord's oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan, the son of Saul. David and Jonathan had a very special relationship. Jonathan loved David more than a brother, more than a best friend, more than anything. He would give his life for David. So, David is protecting Jonathan. Jonathan has passed away. He died the same time King Saul did. He was fighting with his father again. Even though he loved David, he had every he had the covering of his father on him and that murdering curse caused him to die. Well, David atoned for that by saving his son. So, Jonathan's line can continue because see, Jonathan still loved David, which is the good of he represents God. Now, look at what happens here. Verse eight. But the king took the two sons of Risba, the daughter of Ai, whom she bare unto Saul, Armonia and Mephishbasheth. Now Jonathan had a son named Mafishbasheth. Risbah had a son named Mafishbasheth. There's two of them. I hope you get that here. And then and the five sons of Mikll, the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel, the son of Barzeli, the Maheli. Let's stop and pause for a moment. McCall had no children. McCall is David's wife that he we saw him tell Abnner and Ishbasheth to bring me my wife McCall. I want her back. Well, she never had children. She was married to another man after David had left. Well, David wants her back. He ends up getting her back. I don't know if they ever sleep together again or not, but she has no children. However, remember David had killed um 100 Philistines and gave the four skins for her. He paid the price for her, but he was supposed to get Mebaha, McCall's older sister, but Meabbah was married off to someone else. So, McCall was the replacement. Well, Mebah is the one who had these children or was married into Adriel, the son of Barzeli, the Maheli. That's Mebba. So apparently Merba has died and McCall has taken over raising her children. That's very interesting. See the dynamics here of how this is. So Rispa who is under the covering of Saul murderer killer who cursed the land and caused the drought to take place for three years. And McCall who ends up hating David remember he comes in with the ark of the covenant and he's dancing and praising the Lord in his loin cloth and she was so embarrassed and bitter. She never got to have she was so bitter. That was it. She ends up dying a bitter old lady. Well, the children she raised for her sister, she loses them. It's just bitterness upon bitterness upon bitterness on her because she hated David for what he was doing to the Lord. And then Rispa because she was under the curse of her mate because it wasn't a husband, she was a concubine. And so this when you are not on God's side, you have the curse of death upon you. So Rispa is going to lose her two children and MCL's going to lose their her five children. And now seven men are going to die and be hanged because of what one man did to kill what the covenant of the Lord was upon. I hope you guys are getting this. Let's continue on. And this is David. And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hang them in the hill before the Lord. And they fell all seven together and were put to death in the days of harvest in the first days in the beginning of barley harvest. And Rispa, the daughter of Aiiah, took sackcloth and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them out of heaven, and suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night. And it was told David that what Ryzah, the daughter of Aiah, the concubine of Saul, had done. And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabish Gilead which had stolen them from the street of Bethon where the Philistines had hanged them when the Philistines had slain Saul in Galboa Gilboa. And he brought up he brought up from thence the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan's son and they gathered the bones of them that were hanged. So that includes the seven sons there. and the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son buried they in the country of Benjamin and Zilah in the seulture of Kish his father and they performed all that the king commanded and after that God was entreated for the land. Okay. So Rispa loses her two sons and when she does she goes to where they were hung. She puts herself a place there where she can sit down and she's keeping the birds of the air away from their bodies. She's not letting the animals get to their bodies. So this is what she does. And she stays there until rain comes back. So even though David, he finds out about it. And by the way, now they're bones. They're no longer flesh in here. She sat she was there for a very long time. He takes all the bones. He decides to get Saul, Jonathan, and these seven men there because they're all one family. This is how much mercy David has. He hears what she does. She's grieving. See, she should know better who the God of Israel is. And yet, she was under. She being part of King Saul's family and he had that spirit on him where he listened to the Lord a little bit but not much. how much of an influencer her was she to him. So it cost her it cost her her two sons and David's line almost if it wasn't for um David having mercy on Jonathan's son that his line would have ended at that point because that's he's a killer he's a murderer he has a curse on him which then she takes that on as well so Rizbah suffer that but because of what she did David sees mercy he buries those bones and And as soon as those bones are all buried and the mercy, his mercy nullifies, the curse is now broken because these seven men were what had to be hung to undo the curse. When they did that, the rain fell on the land. Now again, what is the rain falls on everybody the same, whether you're good or bad? Don't mess with the rain by killing somebody who has the covenant of the Lord upon them. Now, let's go read about the rain a little bit more. 2 Chronicles 6:26-27. When the heaven, the sky is shut up, hold back. Now, this is Solomon, by the way. He's This is now years later. David's dead. He's built the temple. He's dedicating the temple. This is what Solomon says. So this is now many years later. Watch this. When the heaven, the sky is shut up or holds back and there's no rain because they have sinned against thee. Yet if they pray to judge, intercede, intreat toward this place, and confess literally to use thy name, confess the name, and turn from their sin when thou dost afflict them. Then here he's telling God, "Hear intelligently, intention, obediently, thou from heaven, and forgive, pardon, spare the sin of thy servants and of thy people Israel, when thou hast taught them the good way wherein they should walk and send rain upon the land and which thou hast given unto thy people for an inheritance." Solomon just simply told you how to bring the rain back to the land, and we saw David do it physically. after what Saul did. So we know what causes drought and we know what causes the rain to come back. So next time we face a drought situation and remember I have testified that in California when I used to live there I prayed over that area and it took a couple of years but the breakthrough finally came because people kept cursing the land and making it drier and drier and I was like Lord we're trying to bless it. They're cursing, shut their mouths. And it did happen. And now they've got rain and a lot of rain and a lot more rain in the last few years. They've been getting more and more rain, which is incredible because the land has been restored and we're doing the same here. We're seeing the cycle come back where rain is an inheritance is coming back. So now let's take a look at what Ryz put. She was grieving. She did not pray for Saul. Remember I taught on Adam and Eve when Eve was created. She was made from the rib of Adam. She's part of his rib cage. Now, she may be a Rispa may be a concubine to Saul, but here's the thing. She had the responsibility to pray for him, and she did not. Remember now, Saul started off as a man of God. He prophesied in the Lord's name. Remember what Jesus said? You may have prophesied in my name, but I don't know who you are. Well, you see what happened to Saul as he got further and further from God to the point where he didn't even talk to God because God wasn't answering him. He went to a meeting to go try to talk to Samuel who had died. And that was that was the done deal. His kingdom was torn from him and that was it. If Risba had been praying for him for that matter, if any of the women there had been praying for him, we would have a different lineage today. Like God knew what was going on. And this is why Jesus comes through the line of David. But we are taught if you want restoration in the land and you want the rain to come, you have to void and nullify the curse. One way to do it is to forgive it. Forgive it and let it go. Say, "Lord, we we're experiencing a drought. We need more rain. That is your inheritance. So, I'm asking for your inheritance. So, Lord, I forgive the sins of the land. I forgive the curses over the land. I forgive the curses against the land. And I forgive the iniquities that you find in the land." Because see, when there's a murder and the blood goes into the land into the ground, the ground is crying up to God saying, "Avenge me." So, there's an avenger of blood or a spiritual avenger that is going to be coming out against us, which holds the rain back. So, then what do you do? You forgive it. And then you tell those demons to get lost. You say, "Get out of the land. Get below my feet. I bind you with feathers of iron to the iron below my feet." Remember, we stand on the name of Jesus and he is going to rule with an iron fist. So, he's full of iron. Tell those demons that they are bound to that iron. And then what you do is you bless the land. Say, "Lord, it is now forgiven. I forgave it." And the Lord said, "If you forgive it, I will forgive it." So, if I'm forgiving it, he's obligated to forgive it. which then the rain comes and it is our inheritance. Oh, I hope you guys see the principle that is here that is given to us so that we can stand and enjoy the land that the Lord has given us. We should never have to have allergies or sicknesses and diseases. That's all a result of sin. But the moment you have mercy from God and you asked him to forgive you, that sin is gone. Those curses are gone, the curses are gone, and we can live in the promises that he has given us. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. And we thank you that your word does not return void. Lord, I pray that more people get this message, hear it, and become prayers of forgiveness over the their land, over their families, over their households, over their churches, so that we can start seeing this mercy and forgiveness spread through the land. Thank you, Lord, for showing us our inheritance because it is beautiful and wonderful to have rain over the land, for everything to be lush and nourished. Thank you Lord. You are the blessing and you are king of glory and we give you the glory, the honor and the praise for all of this. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Amen. God bless you. I will see you in the next message. Bye-bye. Home Previous Next

This teaching aims to remove fear, confusion, and avoidance surrounding Revelation by restoring its purpose as a message of urgency, hope, blessing, and divine preparation for the Church. Synopsis: The book of Revelation is not a mysterious text meant to be ignored or feared—it is a divine revelation given by God through Jesus Christ to His servants. From the opening verses, John clearly addresses the Church, beginning with the seven churches of Asia, establishing that Revelation is written for believers. It is a prophetic book that unveils what is coming and carries a promise of blessing for those who read it, hear it, and keep its words. While the book of Daniel was sealed until the time of the end, Revelation is unsealed and revealed for this generation, aligning perfectly with Daniel as knowledge increases and the world accelerates toward fulfillment of prophecy. The Church, called to preach the gospel of the Kingdom to all nations, cannot omit Revelation simply because it is challenging or misunderstood. In fact, its urgency is precisely why it must be taught. Genesis and Revelation are the most attacked books of the Bible because they define the beginning and the end of God’s plan. Revelation warns of coming judgment, unimaginable tribulation, and the severity of life without Christ—yet it also reveals God’s mercy, His desire that none perish, and His plan to spare believers from wrath. The vivid descriptions of what awaits the unsealed world are not meant to terrify but to compel action: now is the time to be saved. This study emphasizes that Revelation was given so the Church would rise, warn, teach, and rescue—working in unity with the Holy Spirit to preach the full truth of the gospel. God did not appoint His people to wrath but to salvation. Therefore, the Church must speak boldly, teach faithfully, and let the world know what is coming, so many may choose life before the Day of the Lord arrives. Inspired Teaching: Revelation 1:1-3 NKJV The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must [a]shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near. Notice who John addressed the book of Revelation to: His Servants and he reiterates this in verses 4 and 5 by addressing the seven churches of Asia. Revelation 1:4-5 NKJV 4 John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. When you become a believer, you become a part of the church. The term ‘church’ is only found in the New Testament of the Bible when you search the word ‘church.’ Meaning, the church is the one who spreads the gospel. Matthew 16:18 NKJV 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not [a]prevail against it. According to Revelation, there are seven spirits (churches) who are before His throne. The book of Revelation is a book that reveals what’s coming. It’s a prophetic book of the bible. So, why did God give is this revelation? Remember when He told Daniel to shut up his book of prophecy? Daniel 12:4 NKJV 4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” The book of Daniel is unveiled when many shall run to and fro and knowledge shall increase. Are we here now? Yes. Daniel’s book has been revealed and it aligns with the book of Revelation perfectly. You can read my dad’s book called Man’s Final Destiny – Revelation Unveiled to have a better understanding of how the two books work in tandem with each other. The book comes out January 26, 2026. Preorder now on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Xulon Press. This bible study isn’t on the book of Revelation or even on end time prophecy. It’s on why the book of Revelation was given to the church. The first thing John the Beloved does in the book of Revelation is he addresses the seven churches of Asia. This clearly tells us that the book of Revelation is for the church. Revelation 22:6-7 NKJV 6 Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the [b]holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place. 7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” And as you can see, the book concludes that these words are given to His servants who will be blessed if they keep the words of prophecy. So, why? Why was the book of Revelation given to His servants? Mark 16:15 NKJV 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Mathew 4:23 NKJV 23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Mathew 9:35 NKJV 35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease [a]among the people. Matthew 24:14 NKJV 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Jude 23 NKJV 23 but others save [a]with fear, pulling them out of the [b]fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. Because we’re told to teach the gospel, that includes the book of Revelation to the world. There are two books of the bible that are the most attacked books: Genesis and Revelation. Because people can’t understand Revelation, they don’t want to teach on it. We need to teach on it and let the world know what’s coming. We need to tell them to get saved now before He returns…otherwise, you will live during that time frame. And know this, most people will die during that time frame. Isaiah 13:11-13 NKJV 11 “I will punish the world for its evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, And will lay low the haughtiness of the [e]terrible. 12 I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir. 13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, And the earth will move out of her place, In the wrath of the Lord of hosts And in the day of His fierce anger. People need to hear this. The world needs to hear this. Because if they do, they might get saved and not even go through this experience. Revelation 9:1-11 NKJV Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the [a]bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. 3 Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 And [b]they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. 6 In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them. 7 The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. 8 They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. 9 And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle. 10 They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months. 11 And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is [c]Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name [d]Apollyon. Can you imagine not being able to die for five months? Even if you attempt to take your own life? And notice, this was for all men living without the seal on their forehead. The only ones who have seals on them are 144,000 male Jewish boys who have not been with a woman. That also tells me that anyone who believes in Jesus as the Son of God before this time-period begins, will be raptured. God loves those who believe in Him and He doesn’t want any of us to go through that. 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 NKJV 9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. 11 Therefore [b]comfort each other and [c]edify one another, just as you also are doing. Let the world know what’s coming and let’s work with the Holy Spirit in unity to get as many saved as we can before the Day of the Lord happens. Previous Next Home
- RENEW YOUR STRENGTH | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
RENEW YOUR STRENGTH To help believers understand that true strength is not found in self-reliance, worldly gain, or fleeting emotion, but in waiting upon the Lord. This teaching emphasizes how God renews the strength of those who trust in Him, demonstrating through Scripture that spiritual endurance and empowerment come from abiding in His presence and relying on His Word. RENEW YOUR STRENGTH Minister Lisa Kane November 12, 2025 Objective: To help believers understand that true strength is not found in self-reliance, worldly gain, or fleeting emotion, but in waiting upon the Lord. This teaching emphasizes how God renews the strength of those who trust in Him, demonstrating through Scripture that spiritual endurance and empowerment come from abiding in His presence and relying on His Word. Synopsis: “Renew Your Strength” encourages believers to draw their power and resilience from the Lord, as promised in Isaiah 40:31. Minister Lisa Kane explores how even the strongest grow weary, yet those who wait on the Lord experience divine renewal that lifts them above life’s challenges like eagles soaring on the wind. Through the examples of Paul, Daniel, the Levites, and the psalmists, this message reveals that strength is cultivated through prayer, obedience, and intimacy with God. It warns against trusting in worldly riches or self-sufficiency, urging believers to dwell continually in the “secret place” of God’s presence, where strength is restored and help is sent from above. Ultimately, this teaching reminds us that our ability to walk, run, and soar through life’s trials depends entirely on our willingness to wait, trust, and abide in the Lord. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Isaiah 40:27-31 NKJV 27 Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: “My way is hidden from the Lord, And my just claim is passed over by my God”? 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Have you ever wondered where strength comes from? It seems that some days I have no strength and yet other days, I’m filled with so much strength. Then, sometimes I ponder, why hasn’t the Lord answered my prayers? I know my prayers are true and faithful, and yet it seems quiet. But in Isaiah 40, He gives power to the weak and to those who have no might, He increases strength. The big point I want to show in Isaiah 40, is verse 31: But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. That tells me that God isn’t ignoring me. He’s saying by not saying that I need to wait. 2 Timothy 4:14-18 NKJV 14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works. 15 You also must beware of him, for he has greatly resisted our words. 16 At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them. 17 But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen! Paul understood this and brought it to light when writing to Timothy. The Lord stood with him to strengthen him, so that He could accomplish His calling by preaching the gospel to the gentiles. 2 Chronicles 11:16-17 NKJV 16 And [b]after the Levites left, those from all the tribes of Israel, such as set their heart to seek the Lord God of Israel, came to Jerusalem to sacrifice to the Lord God of their fathers. 17 So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong for three years, because they walked in the way of David and Solomon for three years. When Israel and Judah split after Solomon died, Jeroboam was wicked and set up false priests of his own to be priests instead of the Levites. The Levites knew they were rejected but they ‘set their heart’, that is their thoughts and feelings to seek the Lord God of Israel. This allowed Rehoboam to become strong for three years because they chose to walk like David and Solomon before them. Great examples to follow… Psalm 52:7 NKJV 7 “Here is the man who did not make God his strength, But trusted in the abundance of his riches, And strengthened himself in his [a]wickedness.” And you can strengthen yourself in things of this world or in God. In Psalm 52:7, you can see that this man trusted in riches and strengthened himself in wickedness. Here’s a good question, what or who do you want to be strong in? Do you want to be strong in God and face the world’s challenges with God or do you want to be strong in your own self, or in the wickedness of this world and face the world’s challenges without God? Daniel 10:19 NKJV 19 And he said, “O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!” So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.” In Daniel’s writings, you will find that he received his strength back when the Angel of the Lord touched him. This shows that we need God to be strengthened. Remember our opening scripture: Isaiah 40:31 NKJV 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. How do you choose to wait on the Lord? Psalm 91:1 NKJV He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. We, you and I take the initiative to ‘dwell’ / ‘abide’ before the Lord in the secret place. Do you set time aside just to speak with God and to hear (read) His Word? This is so important as a believer in Christ. This is where we gain our strength. This is what helps us stay strong. This is what helps us see what is coming, how to be prepared for it, and what to do when it happens. Everything, especially our help comes out of the Word of God. Psalm 121:1 NKJV I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. Psalm 20:2 NKJV 2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; Psalm 22:19 NKJV 19 But be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my strength, haste thee to help me. The psalmists recognize that strength comes from the Lord. And they cry out to the Lord. Another way to look at dwelling in the secret place is like a preventative way of action to ask for help from the Lord before you need that help. The Word of God and His presence is our strength. May He manifest that strength in you. Home Previous Next
- REPAIRING THE DISOWNED STATEMENT | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
REPAIRING THE DISOWNED STATEMENT The purpose of this message is to help believers understand the seriousness of disowning or denying Christ with their words or actions, and how restoration is possible through repentance, confession, and renewed commitment to their God-given duty and obligation of love. It emphasizes the importance of fulfilling one’s divine responsibility, forgiving others, and walking in obedience so that restoration, healing, and power can manifest in the believer’s life. < Back REPAIRING THE DISOWNED STATEMENT Minister Lisa Kane October 21, 2023 Objective: The purpose of this message is to help believers understand the seriousness of disowning or denying Christ with their words or actions, and how restoration is possible through repentance, confession, and renewed commitment to their God-given duty and obligation of love. It emphasizes the importance of fulfilling one’s divine responsibility, forgiving others, and walking in obedience so that restoration, healing, and power can manifest in the believer’s life. Synopsis: In “Repairing the Disowned Statement,” Minister Lisa Kane teaches from Matthew 26, John 13, and John 21 about Peter’s denial of Christ and his subsequent restoration. Although Peter boldly declared he would never deny Jesus, he disowned Him three times as foretold. His bitter weeping revealed the brokenness needed for God to begin transforming him into the powerful apostle we later see at Pentecost. The message explains how words spoken—whether denial or confession—carry spiritual weight, binding and loosing in both heaven and earth. Peter’s threefold denial required a threefold reaffirmation of love, where Jesus asked him, “Do you love me?” and restored him to his calling. Importantly, Jesus distinguished between affectionate love and love as moral duty and obligation, teaching that true discipleship requires responsibility, not just fondness. Minister Lisa highlights that believers today must recognize their duty to intercede, forgive, and love others as Christ commanded. By fulfilling this obligation, Christians manifest goodwill, break demonic holds, and invite God’s refreshing presence. Practical applications include forgiving even enemies, praying for leaders, interceding for family, and blessing communities. Ultimately, the message calls every believer to examine where they may have denied Christ, repent, confess His lordship, and walk in their moral obligation of love. This restores authority, brings deliverance, and empowers the believer to fulfill their God-given ministry with maturity, just as Peter did. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this on Saturday, October 21st, 2023. Welcome. This message is called repairing the disowned statement. Let's open up an order of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the anointing of your Holy Spirit. We thank you for your wisdom, your knowledge, your understanding. We thank you for teaching us the deep meat of your word and satisfying our spirit and soul with your word. Father God, let us learn what love and our obligation and duty is, Father God. And let us restore our lives unto you after possibly denying you in the past. Thank you, Father God, for your healing and your restoration in our lives in the glorious name of Jesus. Thank you, Father God. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture. This is called repairing the disowned statement. We're going to start here in Matthew 26. We're going to look at verses 34 and 75. Jesus said unto him, he's talking to Peter, verily I say unto thee that this night before the cockcrow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And that word deny there means deny utterly or disown. So he's going to disown Jesus three times. And then later on in verse 75, Peter and Peter remembered the word of Jesus which said unto him before the [ __ ] crow, "Thou shalt deny me thrice." And he went out and wept. And that word wept there means to whail out loud. And he did it bitterly. And it was a violent bitterness. He He was broken. He was ready to die for Christ, ready to lay down his life. And he couldn't figure out, you know, here he is in the courtyard as they're interrogating Jesus. He's standing in front of a a fire pit of some sort. And they're accusing him as being one of the ones who hung out with Jesus. And he denied it as Jesus prophesied he would. And yet he had told Jesus, "Nah, it may everybody else is going to run away, but I'm not." Peter is one of the most interesting disciples you will ever watch and get to know. He fascinates me. Why? Because of his maturity. God Jesus came and got him as a fisherman. And then he showed him what he was going to do. And Peter finally believed it. It finally happened and he learned. But here's where it started. It started with his brokenness. He became broken here. He got to relate with Jesus. He saw him. He walked with him. He lived with him. He got to spend all that quality time. And the moment that Jesus is going to move into his anointing power, the ministry, get crucified for you and me because that was his obligation, his duty. I'm going to show you that here in a moment. When he was about to do that, everybody scattered and ran from him and left him alone, including Peter. And he was hurt by that. He was hurted himself. He was um he was messed up. Hurt by it. Let's look at this a little further in John 13. We're going to look at 36-38. Simon Peter said unto the Lord, "Whi goest thou?" Jesus answered him, "Whether I go, thou canst not follow me." Now, but thou shalt follow me afterwards. Listen that very carefully. We know in hindsight that Peter died on the cross, crucified upside down. He finally met his death. And Jesus is saying, "I got to go get crucified. You can't follow me now, but you will later." So, he's prophesying to Peter. Peter's listening and hearing this. Watch this. Peter said to him,"Lord, why can I why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake." He's going to give up the spirit, the ghost. Peter was ready and willing to die. And Jesus said, "Not yet." Look what Jesus said. Jesus answered him, "Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake?" Look at what that word sake there over me instead. You see, Jesus had an agenda. He knew exactly what he was going to do. And Peter is trying to disrupt what the man of God, the son of God, is going to do. Who are we to disrupt what God wants to do? But here Peter is saying, "I'm going to lay down my life for you. You can say all this junk about everybody running away, but I'm not going to do it." And yet, look what happened. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, the [ __ ] shall not crow till thou hast denied me thrice. And look at that word deny is utterly disowned. So Peter hears this. Of course, he forgets about it. And we saw in our opening scripture that he remembered much later on and he became broken. He he realized for the first time how much of a human being he was. This is where God can start to work in us. This is why I like Peter because when you see the maturity level, you see what he does on the day of Pentecost, you see what he writes in first Peter and second Peter, and you just go, "Who is this guy?" Because it can't be the same Peter that walked with Jesus who tried to stop Jesus from going or doing whatever or I'm going to go do it with you. One of the two. So, I want you to see how this plays out for him and where we're going with this. So now John chapter 21, we're going to get into verses 15-1 17 just so I can put it in the placement here. Jesus already was crucified. Jesus already rose from the dead. He's been around now. He's been walking 40 days here on the earth or sometime in that time period. He's ding with his disciples in his new form with the holes and all that stuff. And he's talking to Peter. So here he says, "So when they had died, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon son of Jonas, lovest lovest thou me more than these?" He saith unto him, "Yeah, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee." He saith unto him, "Feed my lambs." I want you to see what the the two different loves here. This very, very powerful. Watch this. That word lovest that Jesus is saying to him is a social or moral sense duty obligation. It's the G35 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary. So it's a moral obligation. You see Jesus is asking Peter to love me with your duty and obligation. You get that? But Peter answers something different. Watch what he says. I love but Look at he says this is to be a friend fond of. I'm affectionate toward you. Personal attachment. This is G5368 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary. Look at that. To be a friend fond of affectionate personal attachment. So instead of doing the duty and obligation which remember that was the whole crux of the matter here. Jes Jesus had to go die on the cross and he told Peter you can't go where I'm going yet. And Peter says I'm ready to lay down my life. I'm ready to do my duty and obligation. And Jesus is saying that's not your duty and obligation yet. Later, that will be later. I need you to fulfill your duty and obligation, which is different than mine. You see, Jesus had to go to the cross to redeem us from our sin. Peter was going to be a fisherman of men, and he needed to fulfill that duty and obligation. He hadn't done that yet. And remember, he was told he was going to do this. I'm going to show you the scripture here in a moment, but look at that. So Jesus is asking him, do you have the obligation? And remember this is after Christ was crucified. There's something here. Let's go to verse 16. Now he says to him, he say to him again the second time, Simon son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Look at that. that lovest is that G35 social and moral sense duty obligation Peter he he saith unto him yeah Lord thou knowest that I love look at the love he said here to be a friend I'm fond of affectionate personal attachment to you thee he saith unto him feed my sheep that's twice how many times did Peter deny Jesus disown Jesus three times so here Jesus is asking Peter and he's restoring him by asking him to make his commitment now to obligation and duty. Now watch what happens for the third time. This is verse 17. He saith unto him the third time, Simon son of Jonas, Jonas loveth. Now look at this love to be a friend fond of affectionate personal attachment. Do you attach yourself personally to me, Peter? And this is what Peter had been saying the whole time. So, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, lovest thou me? Which that love is to now be a friend. But so technically, it's the first time he's saying it this way. But look at what happens. And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things. Thou knowest that I love. And this he reiterated a third time to be the friend of I'm be fond of you. I'm affectionate toward you. I have a personal attachment to you. And Jesus said unto him, feed my sheep. So now let's look at the dynamics here. Notice what did Peter do when he denied Jesus three time? He spoke it into existence. Now when you speak things into existence, you bind things on the earth which then is bound in heaven. You loose things on the earth which is loosed in heaven. When he disowned Jesus, he said, "I am I'm denying. I have nothing to do with him." This is a very powerful thing. You have to be very careful. So what Jesus needs to do now is he needs to restore Peter back to being part of him so that when he restores him he can go fulfill his obligation do the love that Jesus asked him to do. So he has to ask him three times. So he's asking him are you going to fulfill your obligation? Because see Jesus or excuse me, Peter said he was going to do that, but he got scattered and he was broken. This time Peter is like, I'm going to keep this on the surface. I fondly appreciate you. Thank you. I will commit on the surface. And that's what Jesus did. But or that's what Peter did. Jesus met him though at that moment says okay I'll take you this way but he had already told you Peter but you will so now what happened when he said I will love you and have attachment to you three times that counteracts the disowned statement Peter is restored back unto the kingdom of God with Jesus and he can move forward. And then you can see this in his ministry. You're going to see the transformation and the change in his ministry as he goes about doing this. Now, let's look at this obligation because I want you to see this now. Why Jesus had to do this and what this does to you and me because this is so fascinating, powerful. Here in John 13:34, Jesus says, "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another, as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." All three of those loves is that G35 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary, which means social moral sense, duty, obligation. [Music] Wait a second. Wait a minute. I give you a new commandment that ye love one another, that you are obligated, that you commit your duty to one another. Oh, how I've met I've been teaching on being a priest for your family. I've been I was teaching you last week how to intercede. Actually, the last couple of weeks, how to intercede on your family's behalf by forgiving, speaking the words. Because see G Peter when he spoke the disownment, he had to speak the confession back into existence to have the restoration. This is why Jesus asked him verbally, "Do you love me?" And he answered, "You know that I do. I love you." He had to answer him verbally. Now the restoration is taken into place. And Jesus is saying, "I'm giving you guys a new commandment. All of you, all of you are my disciples." He's telling you to have that moral obligation duty to one another. What is the moral obligation duty that you have toward one another? Well, as a parent, you have kids. It is your moral obligation to feed them, clothe them, put a roof over their heads, get them the things they need, and then add a few extra things here and then when you feel like you want to or earn they've earned it or something of that nature, that's your moral obligation. So, how do you apply that in Christianity? You're going to see godliness manifesting here and the good will. Let's continue on. Verse 35. By this all men, know that ye are my disciples if you have love. Look at this word love. It's different. This is G36 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary. This is the affection or benevolence, which benevolence means goodwill. So, by this shall all men know that you are my disciples. If you good will one to another, now you do good things. This is why you see people like in the church who have a their own business, you'll see them go into ministry. Uh I just saw we had a testimony, one of the Bible says a couple weeks ago and she's a widow and this young man came over and was mowing her lawn and they got to talking. They're both believers in Christ. He says, "You know what? If you ever need anything from me, you come and ask me. I will be here to help you. That is good will toward one another. That is this love. G36, the goodwill, benevolence love. So see what Jesus did here. He gave us a new commandment to be obligated and have our duty, the moral sense towards one another so that they know you're the disciple of Jesus. And then you're to do the good will toward one another because that's how they're going to know because you got to supply your fruit. You got to show them who you are, right? Oh, look at this. And in verse 12, and because iniquity shall abound, look at what this love, see, I want you to see this. This is so powerful. Jesus is prophesying Matthew 24. And because iniquity shall abound, the love, the good will G36 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary shall of many shall wax cold. He prophesied that in the latter days we will not see that good will happening. So in other words, we're not fulfilling our duty and obligation. We're not fulfilling the commandment of love that Jesus told us to have. [Music] This is very very important. This is where we need to realize there's more than having a relationship with God. You see, your love is I I have a relationship. You're f I'm fond of you, Jesus. You are my best friend. You are my God. You are my savior. Wonderful. And this has been my relationship with the Lord all the time. But now he's saying you're going to love one another, which is the commandment he gives you so that you are fulfilling your duty and obligation. How do you do that? So, I've been praying and interceding for family and friends and church. And when you start to intercede, I'm fulfilling my obligation to those around me. Think of it like this. I shared this before. Um, in the last year or two years, the neighborhood where we were living out, Lakeland Senor had a lot of um theft in there and uh over the years and and it it was there. It was prevalent. We were always locking our doors. You were very cautious and everything. And I, you know, I did the thing where I'm casting out demons. Ah, you know, Lord, place your hedge of protection. But I changed my prayer when the Lord gave me this epiphany. I prayed for them to have prosperity. And I blessed the thieves known as the enemy. Why? Because if they got the stuff that they need and want, they won't come to me to take it from me. What an epiphany that is. Oh my goodness. You guys got to get this. So now when you let's say you want revival, guess what you got to start doing is you got to pray for the people's soul and spirit around the area around the church. You've got to fulfill your obligation. Jesus wants a revival, but he's waiting for you. What's the scripture that says creation is waiting on the sons of men to show themselves. This is where it starts. you interceding on behalf of the people around you. This is very very important and very powerful that we have to get this because God said Jesus says love one another. Love with obligation and duty. So like for the the war with Israel Hamas, guess what? I'm asking the Lord to forgive Hamas. I'm asking him to forgive the terrorists. I don't want to. I don't want to do it, but that's my duty and obligation because I love Israel. And if I forgive Hamas and Jesus forgives them too, they change on the inside, get transformed, and become believers in Christ. That's what you want for your family, right? You want your family saved. You should be forgiving them of their sins. By the way, you should be forgiving yourself, too, because you may have cursed them. Oh, man. Did you see so and so again, all high and loaded up? man, that that guy needs rehab. He needs something, but boy, it's ugly and oh, I wish if you would just forgive him and then forgive yourself, clear the curses and you bless him. Now, the spirit can move in him and change him. And scripture clearly tells us that that when they hear and see, they will believe. That's how you bring down bring down the demonic activities that people have opened the doors for that they didn't even know that they did. A lot of the stuff that goes on around us is due to ignorance. I think it's Isaiah Hosea 6:4 or 4:6 where he says we die from or we're destroyed from lack of knowledge. The word destroy is we're we're dumb and silent. But we have a duty, a moral sense, and an obligation to fulfill what Jesus told us to do. And that is for all of our family members. That is for every church member. That is for every ministry. That is for your government. Yeah, we need to forgive Biden. If you have an issue with Trump, you need to forgive Trump. I know it's hard. I didn't want to forgive Hamas. But I also not only did that, I said to demonic activity, loose the hostages. See, whatever you loose on earth is loosed in heaven. And did you see two hostages were already released and sent back? Yeah, prayer works, my friend. Prayer works. You got to get in on this and understand what's going on here. So, look at this. Now, this is Peter talking at the day of Pentecost. This is Acts 3:14 and 19. But ye, he's talking to the Jews, the Hebrews, and really to the Pharisees and the Sadducees, the leadership of Israel. He says, "But ye denied the holy one and the just and desired a murderer to be granted unto you." So there was Barabus and Jesus. And Pontius Pilate says, "Which one do you want me to release?" And they all cried for Barabus. That was not just the high priest. They were antagonizing the crowd, but the crowd fell for it. And they all said, "Free Barabus. Give us the thief. We want him. Crucify Jesus the Christ. We don't want him. He's not our Messiah." They disowned him. See, we when you say something like, "President Trump, it was not my president." You disowned your president. He was the only leadership you had. And now you have no leadership. and you are now open and vulnerable to an attack from the enemy. This is why it's very important that we understand what we disown and how to get it restored. We need to have that restoration in order for us to fulfill our obligation and duty as a minister of Christ, a disciple of Christ. Amen. Now look at verse 19. So he tells you how to do it. So you dis disavowed, you contradicted the holy one, Jesus. Now he says repent. Look what the word repent there means to think differently. Reconsider. Repent ye therefore and be converted. Revert. Turn about that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Because see, times of refreshing come. And as they come, they come in waves. To grab a hold of that wave and to get that refreshing, you need to be repented. You need to be living for Christ. Because when the wave comes, you catch it because you are already established. You haven't disowned him. You haven't contradicted him. You haven't cursed your relationship with God. And you are fulfilling your obligation and your duty, the commandment that Jesus told us to do. Very, very important. Now, look what Peter also says because you can see he's maturing here. Look at now in when he wrote first Peter 1 seven and 8 says that the trial of your faith. Do you think Peter went through a trial when he wailed cried out recognized his failure and how violently bitter he was. He says that the trial of your faith being much more precious than the go than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire might be found to praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. He recognized the brokenness that he went through. Look at the maturity. Now look at this. He says, "Whom having not seen?" Look at he's telling you, "You haven't seen the Christ. I was there with him and I failed." But look what he says. Whom having not seen ye love? Look at that love. The G35. So all these people now that he's talking to are loving under the obligation and the moral sense and the duty, the commandment that Jesus said, something he struggled with because he was ready to die. Why? If he died then and he didn't fulfill the uh his obligation to 3,000 that was saved on day of Pentecost would not have been saved or it would have been done through somebody else. Who knows? But he had to fulfill his duty and obligation. He's recognizing this here and he's telling you I not only recognize it for me. Look at you get to do it and you're doing it without even having been there when we were. You're believing the testimony. He says, "Though ye though now ye see him not yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory." Oh, this discip this disciple Peter is absolutely amazing. You can just see the transformation and the change that he went through. And he's telling us now how to deal with it. You see, he said, "I had to repent. I had to confess." Look at what Romans Paul clearly identifies it in Romans 10:9. He says, "If that if thou shalt confess, you're going to acknowledge with thy mouth the Lord Jesus." You have to acknowledge Lord Jesus. You have to say it. That's your acknowledgement. You're confessing and shout believe. Look at what that belief, the word believe there is. Have faith. How do you have faith? How do you believe? You're talking to the sky. You can't see Jesus. You don't even know if he's real or not. that yet me he's real because I'm telling you I have seen him move in my life and believe my testimony I am not kidding you I have moved out here to Missouri and I have brought nine people and the hand of God was on this move through and through every little detail was handled taken care of fully and completely under God because he blessed us why because we are fulfilling our duty and obligation putting him first in our lives having that relationship with him and now interceding. He's teaching us. He's helping us grow like he did with Peter because we choose to be disciples. We choose to put him first and then he blesses us. This is how this works. And he says, "So believe, have faith in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead." See, when you're talking to the sky, you're actually believing that God raised him from the dead because you're talking that he's alive. Isn't that amazing? That's just so wonderful. And thou shalt be saved. Look at that. Say, make whole, restore. When you say, Lord Jesus, I love you. Like Peter had to say. Now, he said it through fondness, appreciation. I I love you, Lord. You're great. You're wonderful. And that's how many Christians love Jesus. They love him that way. So when you say, "Jesus, I love you. Jesus, Lord Jesus, I ask you to save me. I ask you to be my eternal Lord and Savior. Put my name in the Lamb's book of life. When you say that and you're confessing, you are made whole. Now, watch what happens. Yeah, watch this. For whoso, this verse 13, for whosoever shall call upon, invoke, there's that confession and acknowledge the name of the Lord shall be saved. Look at that word save. Save, deliver, heal, preserve. You have to call upon Jesus. When you invoke Jesus, Lord Jesus, I acknowledge you're the son of God. And I'm calling on you, invoking the name of Jesus. Because now you're a believer in Christ when you ask him to forgive you of your sins. And what happens is when you invoke him now and you say the name of Jesus, you are being healed, preserved. Let's go back to that delivered and safe from whatever circumstance circumstance or situation you're in. Whether you're having a problem at work or with your neighbor or with the devil himself and you're having to deal with all you have to do is say the name of Jesus. You see, let's say you're dealing with health issues. Jesus, you are Lord over my health. You are Lord over this cancer. You are Lord over my joy. You are Lord over my grief. You see, you are invoking the name of Jesus. Now, in order to have the authorities, you have to be a believer, which means you have to say, go back to verse nine, confess with the mouth, and believe that God raised him from the dead. You will be saved. You say, "Jesus, I'm sorry. I messed up and I'm believing that you're alive and I'm asking you to forgive me." And as soon as you do that, you are made whole immediately. Your body may not know it yet. Your mind may not know it yet. You might be struggling and fighting something, a division within your soul. But the name of Jesus, now you have the authority to go before the heavenly court. Here's how this works. As I alluded to this earlier in the beginning of the message, when you forgive, so it's you and Jesus before God and this whole heavenly court. And you got demons on one side, angels on the other, however it's set up, I don't know, but it's something like that. And what happens is you say, "Lord Jesus, forgive me." So Jesus takes you up to in front of his father and he says, "Father, she's asked me. He's asked me to forgive her him. I have forgiven them. So you forgive them. So the father says, "Okay, they're forgiven." So they have their rights restored. They can have this, this, and this. And then the devil might be off to the side, but but but and God says, "Nope. Justice served." See, you are immediately saved. Justice is served. And now the devil has no right to accuse you of anything ever again. So what happens is you can do what Job did. Job always prayed forgiveness over his kids, especially after they had a party. He was there the very beginning of the sunrise the next morning and he was um uh had with his rams and his bulls and he was doing sacrifices and he says just in case they curse God while they were having the party. This is how much that's his duty and obligation because he was praying for his kids. You see this? Look at the manifestation of the word of God here and the duty and the obligation here. So when you fulfill this and you are walking in your obligation. So what happens is you're there in the heavenly core. You're forgiven. You forgive something else. The devil comes calling and saying, "No, no, no, no, no." And Jesus says, "But I have forgiven her. I forgive it, too." And then God says, "Okay, it's forgiven. Clear." It voids, it nullifies whatever contract the demon has in that in that place. You see, let's use Hamas as an example. They open the door for demonic activity to be in their their hearts. Um, just from the violence that they did, just trying to keep this as nice as possible, but the violence that they committed cannot that it's unfathomable to me. That has to be demonic. I just can't see a human being doing something this degrading and wrong. But when I forgave them, because see the demons is telling God, they did this, they did that. And he has a bond, a hold on them. And God says, "Well, yeah, they did." Because nobody's forgiven them. But see, the moment I forgave, Jesus stood right next to me. He says, "And I forgive them, too." And so God says, "Okay, they're forgiven. Rights are restored. We're going to release the hostages. The bondage is let go." The demons have to let go. They no longer have a binding contract in place with that person. Now, can it be re-established? Oh, yes. So, all that person has to do is just invite the devil back into his or her life and I'll forgive him again in my next prayer. And now it's a matter of who outlasts who. I took it one step further and uh like for the weather for Southern California. I've taught I've shared that testimony before, but basically I went to the Lord in a very bold statement says, "Shut the mouths of these people trying to curse the weather, trying to curse what we're blessing. Keep it shut so the blessing can break through." And then it did. And we started having rain there again in Southern California. It was really nice. We had so much rain, as a matter of fact. But this is what I'm talking about. This is how you restore yourself out of a disowned statement. You do the same exact thing. Lord Jesus, forgive me because I denied Jesus back then or I have denied Jesus in my past. I'm asking you to forgive me. Jesus comes right next to you. I forgive you. Heavenly Father, I forgive them of this. This is forgiven. And heavenly father says, I agree. And the the uh he his gavvel is finalized. He punches it down. Boy, I just can't even I got it visually, but I can't speak it. But anyways, and the devils have to run. They have to release. Now, imagine if you started forgiving somebody that hurt you. By the way, it's not for them. It's for you. I taught on this just in the last couple of weeks. When you forgive someone else, see, when you're holding on to unforgiveness, your body is tight and it's in a lot of pain and it's hurting and it only gets worse from there. And that hardness turns into cancer. So, if you're dealing with cancer, you might want to look at the spirit of unforgiveness. And whether you want to forgive them or not, I suggest saying it anyways. Because when you speak it out, what happens is you're letting the angels and the demons know up in the heaven and and you're letting Jesus know, okay, I'm going to speak this out. And it's okay to say to Jesus, I don't want to, but I'm going to be obedient to your word and do it anyways. And Jesus says, okay, I forgive them, too. You're you're allowing Jesus to forgive. And what happens now? You're allowing Jesus to change your heart to to mold it and make it better. So, it softens and before you know it, it's just water under the bridge. And now you're not going to be sick. You're not going to get cancer. Not from that incident anyways. But it's up to you whether you want to continue to go and fulfill your obligation to not just yourself, but to those around you and to the heavenly father because he's got a ministry for you. He's calling you to ministry, whatever that may be. You have to start acting on that. It is his commandment that he gave you. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the blessing of your word and we thank you for the golden nuggets that you've given us today and the revelation that we have. You are amazing and glorious and wonderful. We thank you in the name of Jesus. Amen. God bless you and I will see you in the next message. Bye. Previous Next Home

THE GIFT OF LIFE The objective of this message is to reveal the divine origin and meaning of life as a gift from God, examining how sin altered the natural order of creation and introduced aging, death, and brokenness into the world. It aims to connect the Genesis account with the New Testament teaching on eternal life through Christ, encouraging believers to repent, walk with God, and embrace His gift of life both now and in eternity. < Back THE GIFT OF LIFE Minister Lisa Kane June 26, 2022 Objective: The objective of this message is to reveal the divine origin and meaning of life as a gift from God, examining how sin altered the natural order of creation and introduced aging, death, and brokenness into the world. It aims to connect the Genesis account with the New Testament teaching on eternal life through Christ, encouraging believers to repent, walk with God, and embrace His gift of life both now and in eternity. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa Kane explores the biblical truth that life itself is God’s gift, rooted in His original creation. Opening with Romans 6:23, she contrasts the wages of sin—death—with God’s gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Drawing from Genesis, Lisa explains how the patriarchs experienced longevity before sin corrupted creation, noting that aging began only after the fall when Adam and Eve disobeyed God. She walks through the progression of sin in humanity: the disobedience of Eve, Cain’s murder of Abel, and Lamech’s violence, showing how sin accelerated corruption in the earth. Historical events such as the flood, the Tower of Babel, and the division of the continents are tied to the destructive weight of sin. Yet, amid judgment, God preserved the righteous, such as Noah, as examples of His sustaining gift of life. Lisa emphasizes that while sin shortens lifespans and accelerates aging, repentance and relationship with God bring renewal, blessing, and spiritual vitality. She draws parallels to today’s society, pointing out the moral decay that mirrors the wickedness of ancient times. The message culminates with the hope of eternal life through Christ (John 3:15–17), reminding listeners that true life is only found in Him. Ultimately, “The Gift of Life” calls believers to turn away from sin, embrace God’s righteousness, and live with the eternal perspective of salvation, knowing that Jesus has redeemed humanity from the curse of death. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and I'm recording this on Sunday, June 26, 2022. This message is called the gift of life. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this message and we thank you for your blessing on it. Let us receive, apply it to our lives, believe it, walk it, live it, and share it with others. Father God, we thank you. We thank you for your word, your nourishment for us. spiritually. We thank you in the glorious name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Let's open up in our opening scripture here. We're going to be looking at Romans 6:23. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Okay. So, I'm going to be talking about aging today, which is kind of an unusual topic, but I've done a lot of in-depth studies and teachings on Genesis. I did a a study on evolution. You can go look at my past messages on there showing you proof that Genesis is real. And this is a factual text, uh, a historical factual text. This is not storyland. These are not stories. These are real events that took place. So, I'm going to address the aging of the patriarchs during the Genesis time and why sin plays a role in it and why we age differently today than we did back then. So, it's going to be one of those interesting messages here that we're going to be talking about. So, as you can see here, Paul is the one that really kind of puts it together in the New Testament when he says the wages of sin is death. What is sin? Sin is dying. So, let's take a look at what happened in Genesis and what caused us to start aging. Okay? Uh because I'm going to show you when it wasn't aging and then I'm going to show you when it started aging and what happened. And I do apologize, you're going to hear my fans and air conditioner running. Uh it is currently 99 degrees here. I live in the desert here in Southern California. And uh the high I think it's supposed to be 104, but if it's 99 right now and it's 11:41, I guess it's going to be a little hotter, but no problem. So, sorry for the sound quality, but that's the way it's going to be today. So, let's go to our next scripture here in Genesis. So, in Genesis 2:19-20, we're going to see something very interesting here. Out of the ground, the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam, there was not found a helper comparable to him. Okay? So it's a very interesting scripture. Now, keep in mind, I've already done an in-depth study on Genesis, chapters 1, 2, 3, and four. You're more than welcome to go check all that out. So chapter one is a planning phase. It's like creating the blueprints for the world. So in in essence, you can look at it as God assembling all the materials that he needs for the world that he was making. So in essence, he's in his workshop. He's got his workbench. He's got a bowl here filled with water. That's going to be the ocean. A bowl here filled with earth. That's going to be the earth. So it's a planning phase. And when you read Genesis 2:1, you'll see the application in movement like the earth is now operating and and in motion and God is putting in all the elements as it functions more very clear when you look at it from that perspective. That's what Genesis 1 and 2 is talking about. So here and in Genesis 1, you know, he talks about forming man out of earth uh and forming warm man in his image. So you hear him talk about that, but you don't see him applied yet. So here in chapter 2, he's applied, but notice Eve is not there because God talks about he needs a helper comparable to him. So let's go look at that that last part of the scripture there. But for Adam, there was not found a helper comparable to him. So Eve is not in the picture yet. So Adam is naming all these animals. Adam and God are bonding. They're having they're relating to one another. They're getting to know one another. God is getting to know his beloved because this is his offspring. In his image were made. And that is incredible because you know God did something. You guys have no idea. You got to really think this through. We are such a complex being that um we can't create that out of anything else we try. Look at my study on evolution. You will see that we cannot do that. So we have offspring and then the gift of life, the breath of life goes into the newborn and then becomes a person in his image. So this is it's very interesting how God created all of this. Okay. So, but there's something interesting here. There's a mystery here. So, he's naming all these animals. Now, you have to understand that every animal that God has ever created was alive at this time. There was no death because there's no sin. Remember, the wages of sin is death. Nobody's died. No animal has died. There's a interesting mystery here. So, Adam being the only human being on the planet in his little world here, God is bringing all these animals. How long did it take Adam to name all the animals when every one of them existed? Now, granted, he's only naming, let's see here, um the beast of the field and the bird of the air, all the cattle and uh so birds, cattle, beast of the field. So that's basically what he was naming. But you're talking dinosaurs, you're talking dogs, cows, horses, zebras, you know, or maybe a zebra came later because it is kind of in the horse kind, if you will. So he's naming kinds. And a kind is its own species, if you will. So he doesn't name poodles and German shepherds. He names a dog. So male and female dog, male and female elephant, male and female giraffe. These are all animals in their own kind. So, there's a lot of them, just not as many as you think. But how long do you think it took him to do that? Days, weeks, months, years, and sin hasn't happened. The sun goes up, the sun comes down. In fact, it doesn't even mention that Adam sleeps. Did he need to sleep? You got to wonder about how the world was then. So, you're looking at this and you're thinking, "Okay, uh, he named him. Don't know how long that took." So, he's not aging because there's no sin in the land. So, if you know, one way to think of it is when the morning came and if Adam did go to sleep and he woke up, he woke up the same person he was the day before. He did not age. He did not uh grow. He is the same the yesterday, that day, and the next day until sin came. Interesting concept, right? So, let's look at what happened when sin came because you're now seeing the earth wasn't aging. You're seeing animals weren't dying. You know that there is no rain on the earth because when we talk about the flood, you're going to see that there was no rain at that time up until the flood. So this is fascinating. The world then was different. God made the world perfect, whole, complete. This is the place for us to be and where we want to be today really. But we live in sin now. And sin changed everything. So let's look at what happened when sin entered the world. So, we're now in Genesis 3:es 4-5. Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." The devil lied to Eve. Okay, I'm not going to give you every scripture here. I want you to go and study it for yourself. Look at what happened here. Look at the scene between Adam and Eve and what happened when the serpent came in. So God placed Eve in the garden and then God left. He gave them time for their little honeymoon. So the serpent comes along and he's standing there by that tree of knowledge that God told him not to eat of. And he's convincing Eve, you're not going to die. you're going to be like God. And she's tempted. Now, I want you to realize something. Adam is sitting right next to her. So, she takes the fruit. She takes a bite. He hands it to him. He takes a bite, too. Now, I want you to think about this for a moment because when you really think this through, there is some powerful elements going on here. What if Adam in his conversations with God while naming the animals knew what was going to happen? I would imagine that Adam had a lot of questions. We're curious creatures. We want to know what's going on. So when Eve did that, Adam was in La La Land. He's in his honeymoon. He's as happy as a clam. He's probably not thinking thoroughly through. But when she goes to grab the fruit, either he didn't react fast enough to tell her, "No, no, no, don't do it." Or the fact that he didn't say anything, wonder, I have to wonder. Did already God tell him what was going to happen? And he let it happen. And he could have, he had a choice not to take that bite, but she's his wife. They were a whole the two together. They're not uh they're a half now because they're married. So he's half, she's half, and that's the way that works. So he took that by two. But I want you to see when you go look at those curses because they were cursed. The serpent was cursed, the e Eve was cursed, woman was cursed, and then the earth was cursed, not Adam. Adam didn't sin. You got to understand that. So this is very very interesting because now all of a sudden things look a little bit different when you look at this transaction that takes place. Now something did happen you know and if you take a look at some scientists today and ancient aliens even they are acknowledging this is that they think it's an evolution and that somewhere along the lines something came along and changed the concept of mankind from you know being cavemen to today but it this change did take place. Eve and Adam knew they were naked. They knew. So they actually had a change, a physical change in the mental sense. They became aware that they are naked beings and that they sinned and they have shame. Now this was a concept that didn't come in until that very very moment. Now the devil did lie because he said you won't die. Well hold on a second. Let's look at the physical evidence here. Remember this is factual historical evidence. Genesis 5:5. So all the days that Adam lived were 930 years and he died. Wait a second. Okay. So he did die. Eve eventually died too. I It doesn't document her age when she died. So he lived 930 years. That's a long time. He didn't sin. He wasn't living in sin. But the moment they took that fruit and they ate of it, that was day one. and sin aging began. But prior to that moment, there was no aging on the earth. Okay. Now, I want to show you the first document. Well, the second document of sin. Eve is the first document. Here's the second document of sin in Genesis. Watch this. Genesis 4:8. Now Cain talked with Abel his brother and it came to pass when they were in the field that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. Now you can go again read the story the event. It's not a story the event in total to see what was going on between Cain and Abel. Cain got pretty jealous and bitter because God rejected his offering and he accepted Cain's and so he got mad at him and he killed him and he let it bubble up. Well, that's sin number two documented in Genesis. Now, that's very interesting because what's going on here is if Adam lives 930 years and now the earth is starting to get populated, death comes in the picture quicker. We've got a murder that takes place. Now, let's continue on. Now all the patriarchs that lived during that time 10 generations they lived 800 900 plus years and these are not um uh uh these are true years 365 days a year. This is not uh an analogy. This is these are actual years. The the root word in Genesis applies this as a year. So please understand again this is factual evidence and sin changed the element of our aging. This is why evolution can't happen. This is another reason why evolution can't happen. They they're still looking at it as we've just evolved. No, no, no. There was an actual change in mankind that took place and it happened at the moment that Adam and Eve partake of the fruit that they weren't supposed to. So let's go look at the next documented sin again. Here we are at another murder. Genesis 4:23. Then Lamech said to his wives, Ada Azilla, hear my voice. Wives of Lamech, listen to my speech for I've killed a man for wounding me, even a young man for hurting me. Now he he's acknowledging he killed this guy and it sounds like he did it out of revenge for hurting him and not giving forgiveness. So you've got another documented sin here. Now the world is populating. So you've got murder taking place. So animals have got to be dying in this time frame because God had killed an animal to clothe Adam and Eve. So now they're killing animals to eat. So they're eating of the earth and they're eating of the meat. So this is now the new earth that is in play and things are happening rapidly. Eve is having children and as she's having children, her great great grandchildren are having children at the same time she's having children. So, who knows how many kids she ended up having because it does not document it. But it had to be a lot boys and girls and then they started mating as they became adults. 930 years is a long time. So, just talking from Adam's age perspective. So, up to the flood, you're talking about 1500 years. So this is very very interesting that you're seeing something here totally different of the way the world was at that time because now God says something different. Okay? So you've got the documented sin of Eve, the documented sin of Cain, and the documented sin of Lamech. But the world is populating. Look what God says next about sin. Genesis 6:5. Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every intent of his of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Oh now if you really want to know what this is implying and this is actually fascinating what he says here is uh the book of Jasher and the book of Enoch and it could be just one or the other and I'm don't remember off the top of my head but you can go look those up. They may not be part of the Bible, but they have historical records that align with the Bible. So, they're very good information to have. Uh, but they talk about the neighborhood and what it was like. And people were living in such a way that they were trying to well, people didn't sleep or did very little sleep because they were guarding their home because they knew their neighbor was after their goods or even their lives. So, it was a, you know, I got to protect myself because I know that neighbor is creepy and he's coming after me if I let my guard down. That's the idea of how that was. Uh, and of course, it was also the idea of what can I make myself feel good with? Well, if I kill you, I'll feel good. it. So that mentality was going on. And you can see that mentality creeping into society today. I mean, look at what the the women who are protesting about having a pro-choice. They're walking around with blood between their legs and baby dolls between their legs and hitting them. And it's like, you just murdered a baby. And in their mind, no, I have the right to do that. And it's like, whoa, whoa. You don't have the right to murder someone. You have the right to not get into bed with unprotected sex, but you don't have the right to murder a baby. It's got blood. The blood of life. You can't live without blood flowing through your veins. And this is why they're showing you the blood all over themselves. We want to remove that life. That's the mentality. That's the demonic activity behind all of this. So, you've got this concept that comes into the time of Noah and the flood. Now, we all know in science that they did prove the flood took place. So, let's look at what the Bible says about the flood because I really want to apply some scriptures here about it. So, I don't want you just to assume what the story is. At the same time, I do want you to go look at the scriptures and learn of them and study them for yourselves because you'll get more out of it from when you read it. versus somebody interpreting it for you. Amen. Genesis 7:10 through11. It came to pass after seven days that the waters of the flood of of the flood were on the earth. In the 600th year of Noah's life, the patriarchs were living long lives. There was now Noah like Lot was living in a time where there was sin around him, but he was not sinning. He was considered a righteous man is what God called him. And notice he's already 600 years old when the flood is coming. So here in the 600 year of Noah's life in the second month, the 17th day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up and the windows of heaven were open and the rain was on the earth 40 days and 40 nights. Now I want you to see something here. That is what this message is all about. every person living in sin and the righteous that were not going to make it through the flood which was Methuselah. He was the last uh patriarch and righteous man there. He died. His name actually meant that when he died this flood was coming that um all of them had their lives shortened because they lived in sin. They did not have the right to live past the 600, 700, 800, 900 year because they lived in sin. Oh, sin and aging are they go hand in hand. And so now I want you to see how long Noah actually lived. And this was even after the flood. Again, though, they're repopulating the earth. So there's not a lot of people. They are sinning. We're going to get to that in a minute. And you're going to see the dynamics change here. and shift because God had to make some big changes at this moment. But look how long Noah lived. Says here in Genesis 9:29, so all the days of Noah were 950 years and he died. He outlived Adam and he went through the flood. Oh hallelujah. So God takes righteous people and he will let you live. You have the blessing of life to live. Amen. That is the gift of life from God. God is the gift of life. And when you spend time with God, you have life. Oh, this message is awesome. And I really want you to grab it. Now, again, I'm not going to go into all the scriptures after the flood, but you can go and look at this. Genesis, the book of Jasher, the book of Jasher and Genesis are very similar books. Um, Jasher goes into a little more detail. You'll find out about Abraham as a young man where you don't see that in Genesis. So, it's very interesting how Abraham discovers who God is. It's a really fascinating story. You might want to get in there and take it out. Take a look at it. So, what happens is after the flood takes place, Noah and his family repopulate the earth. So, children are having children, they're marrying, they're having children. So, uh Noah's sons are having children and then their children children are all marrying. And anyways, so about the fourth, third to fifth generation, somewhere's right around there was a guy named Nimrod. And uh now God had told mankind, go populate the earth, be fruitful and multiply. So go out. That's what he told them to do. They stayed. And not only did they stay, they followed this guy Nimrod and decided to build a tower because Nimrod had it in his mind. I'm going to get as tall as God so I can kick his butt. I'm going tell you right now, I don't know what this man was thinking, but it he was way off the mark because God's looking going, "Yeah, really? You're gonna do that? Go for it. Let's see how far you get." So something happens here because I I want you to understand something. So God destroys the earth. He didn't end mankind. He let Noah and his family survive knowing full well what mankind was going to do again. They've already done it once. They're going to do it again. But you know what God was thinking? And I'm pretty confident of this. may not be biblical scripture, but I'm pretty confident of this. He knew that Lisa and any other righteous person living today was going to call on him and believe. He already said though scripturally that he was going to send his son to redeem us. He already had that in the plan. He knew what he was doing. He was going into that plan. So Jesus was coming. So he allowed this to happen and he allowed it to continue on because he knew about those of us still who hadn't been born yet who would believe. And he says they're going to love me and I want to give them that chance. Incredible. I just love the Lord so much. So the tower of babel takes place a great earthquake happens at this time and the tower of babel and the earthquake are documented in Genesis. You will see uh there's more information in the book of Jasher but look at this very interesting scripture and I got to show this to you because I want you to understand how the world was then and how it is now. which is why science is struggling with this. Okay, so look at this interesting scripture out of the blue. Genesis 10:25. To Eber were born two sons. The name of one was Palele. For in his days the earth was divided and his brother's name was Jckton. In his days the earth was divided. Wait, all the continents weren't all one or weren't separate pieces? That's interesting. So basically what he's saying here is that after the Tower of Babel and that earthquake takes place, this kid pale is born and by the way that's a root root word and it means shaking and rushing of water coming up. Okay. So basically when this great earthquake happened, by the way, Nimrod documents the statement at that time because he survived the earthquake and he said, "Oh, God saved me from my enemies." I hope he called on God to believe at the end, but I don't think he did. But anyways, whatever the case was, this guy survives. He documents that the earth did have a great shaking at this time and that's when the continents pulled apart. So let's understand what happened here. Sin sin caused the flood. You know God brought in the flood. Now God made the earth perfect. So all the earth was one piece of land. And you know what? Most scientists actually agree with that. They just think it was billions of years ago. But they all agree that Panga, which is all the contents put together, all existed as one in the past. And that is actually a true statement. They did exist as one. It's when Paleleg was born, when that great earthquake happened, that's when they broke. And this was after the flood. And this was after the Tower of Babel. So, and in fact, they have this also documented. This is where all the cultures came into be because when the Tower of Babel was broken, language was broken. And so you had all these people split apart. So you had Asians over here, Hispanics over here, Indians over here, uh, Europeans over here. So you had all of these different cultures. And when the land broke apart, those cultures were on their own piece of land. And now all of a sudden, you've got cultures in existence, different culture, and they all came into existence at the same time. And in fact, they all talk about the flood, every single one of them. And they all talk about eight people surviving. It's a a factual event that took place and it's because of sin. So sin when the water God broke the fountains of the deep and they became weak. So when mankind started sinning again and going building this tower following this guy and not spreading out and populating the earth being fruitful multiplying no instead God says okay this is weak. I'm going to break I'm going to cause a shaking. And he shook the ground and it was the weight of sin that broke it further. And and if you take a look, you drive through a mountain, look at the mountains and how everything it's broken. Everything is broken. I mean, it's beautiful. We live in it today. We live in this brokenness. And in fact that's when age started slowing uh excuse me increasing in speed meaning they got they died at a younger age. So this is when all of this change took place because now sin is prominent in the world. It is a major factor in the world. People are living in sin and they're born in it and they just go with it. And it took the redemption of Jesus Christ to come to change that and to give us the element of that. So now and in fact just kind of show you how God is still talking about this. This is very very important. I want you to understand you do not have the gift of life if you're living in sin. He will end your life prematurely. Look what he did here to Sodom and Gomorrah. Genesis 19:24-25. Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah from the Lord out of the heavens. And so he overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground. He said, "You're going to live in sin. This is what I'm going to do to you." And sin is pleasurable. You know, people get hooked up to, but you got to break free from it and make a stand and say, "God, I choose you." And and I will tell you right now, you keep looking back at sin, you got a problem. Lot's wife here, go back, read these scriptures. She she desired it so much and was missing it that, you know, she turned into a pillar of salt. She just dried up. How many people do you look at today that are dried up, been on drugs, had a rough life really, and they could be 50 years old, but they look like they're 70. I'm telling you, sin and age go right hand in hand. And if you there is no magical bottle of illusion that you can take that's going to help you look younger or feel younger on the inside. You know, you've got to repent and you got to spend time with God because when you spend time with God, there's no sin there and that means the aging slows. We're still living in an earth surrounded by sin. Lot didn't live that long either, but you know, he was able to live past the destruction of those two cities. In fact, God refused to destroy those two cities until Lot was removed. And read the conversation that God had with Abraham. Abraham's like, "Is it 50 people, 30 people, 20 righteous people living in the city? Would you destroy it?" He said, "No, all the way to 10 people." Meaning, there was less than 10 people in the city that was righteous. And the less than 10, God says, "I'm taking you out." Which was Lot, his wife, and two daughters. And uh the wife didn't make it. So sin is what does this to you? What destroys things? Our government looks like they're trying to destroy the it's sin. They're living in sin. They're accepting sin. Those that approach choice are accepting sin. When living as a homosexual is sin because God calls it, you're not being fruitful and multiply. You cannot be fruitful man on man or woman on woman. So, you're sinning. Lying is sinning. Murder is sinning. You want to sin? Hey, go for it. I'm just telling you, your life will be cut short. That's one of the consequences. And two, not only will you be aging faster, but you're missing out on the blessings that God has for you here and now. And just because we have eternity with him, your eternity can begin now. And no matter what hell is going on out here, you're still at peace and have a joy within you. And you get to look young and free. And people people come up to me all the time and say, "I can't believe you have grandchildren." Yeah, I have grandchildren. Yes, I do. I I I'm grateful that I look as young as I am, but I know that I'm aging. I know I live in sin, but I repented because Jesus came back and did something for us. Look at this. John 3:15 through17. that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but that through the world through him might be saved. He wants to save you on top of it all. He wants to save you. And you know, I I want you guys to realize that we're coming into a very serious time or well, we're in a serious time. Uh Matthew 24, Luke 21, Mark 13 are being fulfilled right in front of us. And it does talk about this generation shall not pass away. So interesting enough how this is fulfilling. Now we are on the tail end of things. So, Genesis is the beginning. It's what started it. And all of this time, we've been living in sin because that's how things change. That's how things were moved. So, now something is getting revealed. And I want you to see what's coming because you've got to be able to repent and know that you're repenting for something that's better. Okay? And we don't have better here on this earth because this earth is sin. Okay? Understand that. Look at what Paul says here in 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12. And then the lawless lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will consume with the breath of his mouth and destroy with the brightness of his coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan with all power signs and lying wonders and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish because they did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion that they should believe the lie that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but have pleasure in unrighteousness. That's what's happening now. People have this delusion. Talking about women with pro-choice. They have a delusion. Look at this. He says, "With all unrighteous deception among those who perish, you are dying with unrighteousness." And as long as you're doing that, you did not receive the love of the truth that you might be saved. When you reject Jesus, you reject God, you live in unrighteousness, you live in sin, your life is cut short. You do not have the gift of life which is God. God is the gift of life. Very first scripture that I read. Understand what's happening here. And if you take a look at that scripture, go back to the beginning part of it. He says, "Look what the the Lord's going to do to this uh individual here. Look at this. This lawless one. He's going to consume with the breath of his mouth and destroy with the brightness of his coming. This guy's destined for destruction. Don't follow him. You need to repent. You need to repent. Remember what Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. You have to repent. And I'm telling you, if you really want to look younger, so even though we don't live the lifespans of what it was like prior to sin being a a dominant element here in the earth today, we still can look young in our age. Amen. And that means spending time with God. That means repenting. That means giving him the glory, living for him. And I'm going to tell you right now, eternity with God is what you want. You do not want to be left here during this strong after this strong delusion is gone that you know this generation is not going to pass away. God takes people. Look at all my previous messages. He did the rapture. He's he took Enoch. He took Elijah. He's going to take the righteous next. That's what's coming. So all this stuff is being fulfilled and that's what's coming. And then you don't want to be left here. being left here is I'll give you just a sample. The first five months you cannot die and there's going to be these horselike scorpion things coming to sting you and you're thinking God is a loving God. When you reject him, he's he's got feelings. He got rejected. So, he's trying to get your attention to wake you up. You're going to be stuck here going through that pain and suffering and then you're going to have to die for him. That's even worse. go in the rapture. It's just so much easier, better. But you got to be righteous. That means you got to repent and you got to live for God. Romans 10:9, confess. Go to God. And if you're angry with him, you know what? It's okay to be angry with God. You know, he's a big guy. He can't handle it. But go to him and talk to him about it. Tell him you're upset. Tell him you, you know, love should be love. Love is love. God. Let him talk to you back though. You need to open up the Bible and find out what he says and get an understanding of it so that your heart and mind lines up with God and you have the established blessings and promises that are written in the word of God. The rapture being one of them. Amen. All right, let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this message and we thank you for your blessing on it. We thank you for the revelation Previous Next Home

A BELIEVER'S UNBELIEF To expose the subtle yet crippling impact of unbelief in the lives of believers and to lead them into spiritual awareness, repentance, and transformation through the power of confession, prayer, fasting, and faith in Jesus Christ. A BELIEVER'S UNBELIEF Minister Lisa Kane October 22, 2025 Objective: To expose the subtle yet crippling impact of unbelief in the lives of believers and to lead them into spiritual awareness, repentance, and transformation through the power of confession, prayer, fasting, and faith in Jesus Christ. Synopsis: In A Believer’s Unbelief, Minister Lisa Kane delivers a powerful teaching on how unbelief silently hinders the lives of believers, keeping them from walking in the fullness of God’s power and promises. Drawing from key scriptures in Hebrews, Romans, Mark, and Matthew, she illustrates that unbelief is more than doubt—it is spiritual hardness that blocks us from experiencing the supernatural life Jesus intended. The message challenges listeners to recognize the areas in their lives where unbelief persists, even while professing faith. Minister Lisa explores the spiritual implications of unbelief through the failure of the disciples to cast out a demon, the cry of a desperate father for help with his unbelief, and even how Jesus Himself was limited by the unbelief of others. She emphasizes that confession is the gateway to overcoming unbelief—confession as humility, alignment with truth, and a declaration of faith in Jesus' lordship. Prayer and fasting are highlighted as necessary disciplines to combat unbelief and grow in spiritual authority. Through biblical insight and practical reflection, A Believer’s Unbelief calls believers to a deeper faith—one that not only acknowledges Jesus as Savior but also embraces the power of His resurrection, healing, and deliverance. The message ends with a personal call: ask God to reveal where unbelief resides, confess Jesus over those areas, and begin to walk in the full measure of faith and power promised to every believer. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Unbelief hinders us greatly, and many who are believers don’t realize it. Unbelief keeps us from walking in the power of God and it makes us blind to everything around us. In fact, unbelief causes our heart, (soul – thoughts and feelings) to become hardened. Hebrews 3:7-8 NKJV 7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, 8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness, Notice earlier in the chapter, we read: Hebrews 3:1-2 NKJV Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, 2 who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. Confession is what helps us with unbelief. When we confess, it is an act of humility before the Lord. It is our spirit saying we were wrong and we need forgiveness, healing, deliverance, etc. Hebrews 3:16-19 NKJV 16 For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses? 17 Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. When we walk in unbelief, we stay in the dry desert, wilderness and don’t reach the promise land. So, how do we confess? Romans 10:9 NKJV 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 1 John 1:9 NKJV 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Jesus promised us that He will forgive and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Another way to say this is that when we confess, we are called righteous. Once in that righteous state of mind, we walk in the power of God. Jesus demonstrated to us in scripture what unbelief did to His disciples. Mark 9:17-29 NKJV 17 Then one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. 18 And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.” 19 He answered him and said, “O faithless[b] generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I [c]bear with you? Bring him to Me.” 20 Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth. 21 So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. 22 And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” 23 Jesus said to him, “If[d] you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” 24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” 25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!” 26 Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, “He is dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose. 28 And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?” 29 So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer [e]and fasting.” Let’s read the same event in Matthew: Matthew 17:14-21 NKJV 14 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is [c]an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” 17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O [d]faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your [e]unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 [f]However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” The disciples were unable to cast out this demon. Now notice, the disciples had already been casting out demons and knew how to do so. This wasn’t because they didn’t know what they were doing. Jesus explained to His disciples that unbelief played a role in this, as well as not being prepared through prayer and fasting. But look how Jesus handled the situation. He told the man that brought his son to him that if you believe, all things are possible. The man responded saying I believe but help me with my unbelief. He, the man, the father of this demon possessed child acknowledged that he could not help his son because he had no power. Since he had no power, he reached out to Jesus’ disciples and imagine what he thought when he saw that even the disciples could not cast out the demon. He came to the disciples because he believed but his belief was shaken. So Jesus reminded him but he said I believe but I need help with my unbelief. Because at this point, what else could be done when the disciples could not cast out the demon? Then Jesus cast the demon out and healed the boy. The disciples knew something wasn’t right here, which caused their belief to shaken. At this point, Jesus needed to restore their belief explaining that when you are shaken like this, you need to go back to the scripture, to Jesus and find out what’s going on. You need to bring your belief back up and Jesus did that by explaining that to cast out this kind of demon you need to be in prayer and fasting. Based on the outcome, the disciples weren’t praying and fasting like Jesus. Even Jesus was limited on what He could do when unbelief was present. Mark 6:5-6 NKJV 5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. 6 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching. Here we are today, where unbelief is rampant here in America. This level of unbelief prevents the spirit from moving. Even the disciples didn’t believe those who told them Jesus had risen and Jesus rebuked them for their unbelief. Mark 16:14-18 NKJV 14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who [d]believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they[e] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Unbelief keeps us from walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. The question you should ask yourself is what areas in your life where unbelief is true. Many believe in Jesus but don’t believe in the power of Jesus. For example, do you believe that Jesus saved you or are you hoping that He will save you? Do you believe Jesus heals? Do you believe Jesus delivers? Ask yourself what you believe and ask God to help you see the areas of unbelief in your life like the father of the son demon possessed. Then confess Jesus is Lord over that area in your life and watch God move over that area so that your unbelief is turned to belief. Home Previous Next
