Ultimately, the teaching points believers to rejoice not in the authority itself, but in the deeper truth that their names are written in heaven and that the Anointed One dwells within them. Inspired Teaching: Zechariah 2:5 “For I, says the Lord, will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.” The ministry of anointing with oil is one of the most mysterious things that we can find in the Bible, yet it is one of the most powerful. The anointing oil can be applied to kings, to priests, to sacraments, to places, and as we see in our opening text, to cities as well. In the case of Jerusalem, we cannot see it with our carnal eyes, but God has anointed that city and if we could look through the eyes of the Spirit, we would see the anointing that covers Jerusalem as a wall of fire that surrounds her and covers her with God’s mighty protection. Isaiah 10:27 “It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.” But more important of all, as far as we humans are concern, the anointing with oil has the power to deliver us from the burden of transgression and the yoke of slavery to sin. James 5:14-15 “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” What is the mystery of the anointing with oil besides what might be obvious to us? I spent many a times praying for people who were in need of deliverance from demonic strongholds, and one of the many things that I learned in my dealings with those oppressive demonic entities, was how demons perceive humanity and our physical realm from their underworld perspective, we need to remember that they live in a totally different dimension than we do. I believe that when demons look at us humans what they mainly see is an aura around us that may differ in intensity as well as in color, and that is how they perceive the human condition. Since we humans are two thirds spirit and one third human, for we are made of spirit, soul, and body, what demons mainly see when they look at us, is our own spiritual orb that surround us. So that if we are walking under Christ’s anointing, and since Christ means Anointed One, when a demon looks at us under the anointing, they cannot tell whether it is us or Jesus Christ who they are facing. Luke 10:19-20 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions (demonic entities), and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in Heaven.” I believe that what Jesus is teaching us in Luke 10 is that as born-again believers, born again means to be born of the Spirit of God, there is an aura around us that all spirits recognize and that they must submit to. In other words, Jesus is telling us not to rejoice in the fact that we have power over the demonic spirits, but rather, that we rejoice in the anointing that is over us and that covers us, because of our position in the spiritual realm due to the Anointed One dwelling in us through His Spirit. Psalm 105:15 “Saying, ‘Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.’” So that there is a de-facto anointing that personally covers all born again believers and that all demonic entities must recognize. But the ministry of the anointing with oil varies greatly and the greater our understanding of how it works the more powerful and effective that we can become in our ministries, and the better that we can protect ourselves, our families, and our properties from the evil one. Let us take a look at a few of the many applications of the anointing with oil. Let us begin with the anointing for peace. Jeremiah 29:7 “And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.” One thing that I do recommend for churches to do, and individual believers as well, is to take oil and anoint the places where your city begins and ends, what the Bible calls the city gates or entrances. The way that we did it in the past is to go east and west, and north and south of the city, and pour anointing oil on the entrances of our city and pray for God’s anointing of peace to dwell in that city where we live. Then we proceed to anoint our property lines, by pouring anointing oil all around the perimeter of what we own or rent, the place where we live, and we pray for God’s protection over it and ask for His peace to abide there as well. Why is that important? Romans 8:21 “Because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” Since we, the children of God, are walking under the liberating covering of God’s anointing that preserves us from the corruption of this world, we can proclaim liberty over the part of the creation that we do occupy. How does that work, spiritually speaking? 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks (roams) about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” Since wicked spirits tune in to areas that emanate gloominess and darkness, where spiritual disorder and chaos reigns, and since they roam about looking for innocent victims that they can lure into their traps without repercussions, it is important for the believers that inhabit those areas to anoint with oil those same areas that they occupy. Spirits can instantly discern the places where believers have prayed for God’s peace to reign, and if they anointed the places where they prayed with oil, that anointing oil in the spiritual realm, shines like a mighty fire from God that warns those malevolent sprits to watch out, for there is swift retribution coming their way if they trespass over the anointing that covers those areas that believers have placed under their anointing. Is the same for our homes, where we have anointed our boundaries with anointing oil, for it will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst. We are also to anoint our home with oil both inside and out, now why do we need to do that? Deuteronomy 23:14 “For the Lord your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that He may see no unclean thing among you, and turn away from you.” Just like the anointing oil shines in the spiritual realm to drive away predators, it also serves as a welcome sign for God’s holy angels that also move around the earth to do God’s bidding. But even more precious than that, God takes pleasure in walking is our midst during our times of repose, and a home or a room where the anointing oil has been placed indicates to our Lord that this place has been reserved for His presence, and that He is always welcome there. And then we are also to anoint ourselves personally as a sign of gratitude before the Lord, to show not only to ourselves, but to show others as well, and to show God Himself, that we will always belong to Him, our entire person, spirit soul and body are His habitation. Isaiah 65:16 “So that he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from My eyes.” What is it in us that is hidden from God’s eyes? And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil. The true anointing, for that is what we bless ourselves with while here in the earth, covers all of our infirmities and sins, the burden of sin and the yoke of oppression that is still in our mortal flesh and are driven away by the anointing oil that we bless ourselves with. Mark 6:13 “And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.” The anointing oil preserves us until the day of redemption. Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Jesus the Anointed One walked about doing good and searching for those who were oppressed by the devil, and then He set them all free, for God was with Him. 2 Corinthians 1:21 “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God.” The same God that anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power to drive out all the workers of iniquity, is the same God that has anointed us in Jesus Christ His anointed One in order for us to drive out all the workers of iniquity in our sphere of influence as well. And it is through the power of His anointing oil that the yoke will be destroyed. Pray as to what type of oil the Lord wants you to use, I usually get extra virgin olive oil which I can buy in the market and is not too expensive for me, but you can use whatever is available to you and that you believe it is acceptable before God. Get the oil, bring it before the Lord and ask Him to bless it, after it is blessed do not use that consecrated oil for nothing else but for anointing purposes. Previous Next

Using the imagery of the Shulamite woman from the Song of Solomon, Pastor Marcos illustrates the posture of longing, perseverance, and devotion necessary for believers to enter into such a relationship. These encounters require spiritual preparation—being born again, covered in fellowship with Christ’s body, and adorned with the fruit of the Spirit. Pastor Marcos emphasizes that true intimacy with the Lord involves crossing into the spiritual realm, widening our understanding, and refusing to be hindered by temporary setbacks. Ultimately, Spiritual Encounters teaches that God’s sovereign interventions preserve our destinies, while our intentional pursuit of Him brings about profound personal transformation. The desired outcome of such encounters is not only deeper intimacy with Christ but also greater fruitfulness in both the spiritual and physical aspects of life. Inspired Teaching: Song of Solomon 3:1-2 “By night on my bed I sought the one I love; I sought him, but I did not find him. I will rise now, I said, and go about the city; in the streets and in the squares I will seek the one I love. I sought him but I did not find him.” There are two kinds of spiritual encounters between man and God, as far as our relationship with God’s plan for our lives is concerned. First is the kind where God reveals Himself to us, by way of an angel, personally, or in some supernatural manner, when we are not actively seeking Him. Such was the case with Saul of Tarsus, an encounter with God was the last thing on his mind as he traveled on the road to Damascus. The second form of an encounter with God is when we are actively seeking Him and some way or another He let’s us find Him. I believe the book of Song of Solomon has a wealth of information into the how to, of seeking a personal encounter with God. Let us look at the two different types of encounters and see if we can learn from this present lesson how to find favor with the Lord, and encounter His presence in a way that brings a life changing experience to us that results in our betterment. In the first type of encounter, God reveals Himself to a person for a specific purpose or reason. In Paul’s case it was for his conversion and called to future ministry, in other cases it could be for the protection of an individual, maybe to keep them from crossing a line from which there is no return. My first encounter with the physical manifestation of the presence of God was to keep me from making such a mistake. I was in a small boat fleeing the communist regime in Cuba in the Florida straights in August 1965, I brought two friends with me who were hiding under the small bow of the boat. We were hit by a strong tempest (chuvasco) and swamped by towering waves to the point that I thought the end of my life was at hand, as we were verily making it through that frontal line of menacing clouds in the middle of the night, we were almost struck by a cargo ship that was sailing in the middle of the storm. After seeing our SOS the cargo ship stopped to recue us, thinking they had hit us, we’ve maneuvered to the side of the cargo ship, by the hanged net they laid on the side of the ship in order for us to climb aboard the ship and out of the tempestuous sea. As my hand took hold of the net, an invisible man that was standing next to me told me to ask where they were going, I looked up to those who were waiting for us at the top of the net and asked them where were they going, something that you normally would not do when being rescued, it was a natural reaction to a supernatural prompting, the immediate answer came with an oriental accent; we are going to Havana! As if the net was charged with thousands of volts of electricity, my hand let go of it, and we sailed away as fast and as far as we could from that Chinese cargo ship that was headed to Havana, where we would have certainly been delivered into one of Castro’s many prisons. By next afternoon we encountered an island named Cay Sal and were spotted by a US navy plane that pointed us to that island, as soon as we knew that we were going to make it, the invisible man, an angel from the Lord, left, and in that instance all three of us looked at each other and wondered out loud, how is it that we were behaving as if there were four of us, when there is only three? All three of us knew he was there, we all felt his presence, I heard his voice, and we knew immediately when he left, yet we never saw him, neither did we comprehend his presence until after he departed. That evening a British warship picked us up from the island and took us to Port Everglades Florida, where we were welcome as refugees. I often pondered why did God do that miracle when none of us were even saved, and the only conclusion that I can come up with is that, had it not been for His sovereign intervention that night we would not have been able to fulfill God’s plan and destiny for our lives. I am sure that all of us will one day find out the countless times when the Lord intervened on our behalf, for the battles that God’s angels fight for us is a constant one. In the first type of encounter God is making sure that His plans for the individual’s life is not altered, so that the nature of the encounter is more functional in nature than personal, not so in the second type of encounter, for this encounter is very personal in nature, where God responds to those who seek to have a deeper, more personal relationship with Him. By night on my bed, I sought the one I love. It is not easy to position ourselves properly in order to have the opportunity of having the experience of a personal encounter with the Lord, such experiences are just as precious as they are rare, but our desire of them speaks volumes of how real and deep our love for Him is. What is it that is on our minds when we suddenly awake in the middle of the night, before the cares of this life come rushing in? The Shulamite, a type for the church in this story, wakes up longing for a personal encounter with the love of her life and then she decides to do something about it; she says, I will rise now and go about the city, obviously she is looking for Him. This is a sign for those of us who personally desire to have a life changing encounter with the Lord deep within our hearts, if suddenly we wake up in the middle of the night longing for Him, in response to that longing, we should get up and seek Him fervently in prayer. In the streets and in the squares, I will seek the one I love. The word for streets in the Hebrew has the idea of as run over something, almost like a bridge, from its root word that means to run after or over to something. The idea behind the word for streets is that of, we have to cross over, in our case it would imply that we have to cross over into the spiritual realm as we seek an encounter with our Lord, by putting all our physical limitations and suppositions behind us. The word translated squares literally means broad way or broad place, from its root word that means to broaden or to make wide. To seek the encounter with the One we love we must be willing to cross over into the spiritual realm, and in order to do this we have to widen or broaden our perspective of how the spiritual realm operates. We have to be willing to negate the perceived limitations that hinder us from entering into His presence and not be dissuaded from apparent failures. As the Shulamite says twice in our opening verses, I sought him, but I did not find him. Song of Solomon 3:3 “The watchman who go about the city found me; I said, ‘Have you seen the one I love?’” If the city is symbolic of the spiritual realm where she went searching for the one she loves, then the watchman is symbolic of the angels that police the spiritual realm, notice how she handled her encounter with them: Have you seen the one I love? She was not hesitant at all, she was determined in her commitment to find the one she loved. Song of Solomon 3:4 “Scarcely had I passed by them, when I found the one I love. I held him and would not let him go, until I had brought him to the house of my mother, and into the chamber (room) of her who conceived me.” This is an interesting insight into what drove her desire for an encounter with the one she loved. In the natural she was saying I want you to meet my mother, if you are in the dating stage of your life I do not have to tell you what that means, for you know that she means business once she asks you to meet her mother, what that means is that she is definitely serious about your relationship with her. But from the spiritual aspect, I looked at the words here that state, the chamber of her who conceived me. I think that this is a reference to the inner rooms of the heart, meaning that her goal all along was for this spiritual encounter to bring her Savior into the inner chambers of her heart, where spiritual conception takes place, she wanted to experience her loved one in a way that she had never experienced him before. Proverbs 20:27 “The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths (literally: inner rooms of the belly) of his heart.” The difference then, between our first and second types of spiritual encounter is, that in the first type angels or watchers intervene on behalf of those whose destiny is threaten by the mischievousness of the devil against them. In the second type of encounter there is nothing that the angels can do, for in this type of encounter the human heart is the issue, and only God is qualified to deal with the issues of the heart, and He will never intrude into the human heart unless He is first, personally invited, and second, we make special preparations within us that will make Him feel welcome. Step number one: Song of Solomon 4:1 “Behold, you are fair, my love! Behold you are fair! You have dove’s eyes behind your veil (the curtain that covers the door that leads into our hearts). Your hair (covering) is like a flock of goats, going down from Mount Gilead.” The dove is the symbol for the Holy Spirit, and the veil represents the door to the inner rooms of our hearts, typified by the curtain that covers the entrance to the Holy of Holies in God’s Tabernacle. That means that we have to be born again, born of the Spirit of God if we want to experience this type of encounter with Jesus deep within our hearts, because that is where the Holy Spirit resides after we are born again, deep within our hearts. Step number two: Our covering, symbolized by the hair, has to be in place by being a part of the flock, the church, which is the body of Christ. Some believers are not properly covered because their pastors are in direct disobedience to the Word of God, hence they are not properly covered by their fellowship, which makes it a lot more difficult for them to have an experience of true intimacy with the Lord, especially when their leaders are proclaiming a different gospel that portrays another Jesus and a different spirit which they have not received. 2 Corinthians 11:4 “For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it (but the Lord will not).” In these matters we have to be very careful, for no church is perfect, but if you cannot tell the difference between your church and the world, then all your striving for a spiritual encounter with the real Jesus may be for naught. But remember this, never leave a fellowship to which you were called unless the Lord Himself calls you out of it first, and make sure that He confirms it before you act, that way you will not lose your true covering no matter where He leads you, for He will be your covering and your protection wherever you go. Step number three: Song of Solomon 4:2 “Your teeth are like a flock of shorn sheep which have come up from the washing, every one of which bears twins, and none is barren (bereaved) among them.” Our teeth represent the condition of the human soul, which is designed to reflect the Fruit of the Spirit of love who lives within us, which are: Love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, kindness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control, for against these there is no law. We need to make sure that none of these qualities are lacking within us, for they adorn our inner man and make us to be more attractive to the Lord. Since we love and desire intimacy with Him we should desire to be more presentable: Which have come up from the washing. After all no body likes bad breath. 1 Peter 1:9 “Receiving the end (goal) of your faith—the salvation of your souls.” We can find many allegories in the book of Song of Solomon to help prepare us for a life changing experience with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. But let us make sure that our desire for intimacy always flows out of a grateful heart that knows the hell from which He has delivered us, having a sincere desire for true intimacy with Him should trump everything else. The results of such a spiritual encounter should be that of us becoming more fruitful in every aspect of both our spiritual and physical walk with Him. Amen! Previous Next

As dawn breaks, the imagery shifts from despair to triumph. Believers, gathered together, sense the call of God: “Arise my children, your hard service has been rendered.” The trumpet is about to sound, and eternity is dawning. The climax arrives with the appearance of Jesus Himself, clothed in glory, descending swiftly to claim His own. The narrator experiences the awe-filled transformation into a new, glorified body, overwhelmed with the cry: “Hallelujah, He kept His promise!” Ultimately, the message captures both the terror of judgment and the breathtaking hope of salvation, reminding readers of the urgency of faith and the certainty of Christ’s return. Inspired Teaching: In the early hours of the morning of that day, we knew that something awesome was about to happen. It was one of those things that cannot be explained yet, you know it is real. In a way it did not seem any different than any other morning if you just concentrated on the elements rather than the happenings around you, for this definitely was not like any other morning; this was the last morning on earth for millions of people around the world. By the time that the next evening would come, life would never be the same for the billions left behind. You see this was the dawn of the end times. At long last, after many words had been written on the subject and an endless parade of predictions, it was here, it had arrived, and it was real. The evening before had started with great apprehension, as people beheld in utter disbelief the news that a great vast army led by Russian troops and a formidable coalition of forces from three continents had been totally wiped out as with the stroke of a pen in an instant and their bodies litter the Israeli countryside. The bright flash of light that had consumed them could not be explained in any other terms than divine intervention. The world leaders and politicians at large were dumbfounded with a lack of an explanation, which was the norm for those in charge of reporting the news. There was no doubt in all quarters that the returned of Jesus Christ was now eminent and that the time of judgment was now here, and there was no way of escaping it. For those of us who had been waiting for this blessed event since the day of our conversion it seem to come upon us with mixed feelings, for in the chill of the early morning hours and as we realized that the hour of our redemption was almost upon us, we would soon be meeting face to face the one who had paid the full price of our redemption. We also realized that the majority of the people of the earth had been deceived and had rejected the creators’ offer of peace, and now only the awful expectation of judgment was all that was left for the peoples of the world. They tremble before the mighty signs but yet lacked the faith to repent and call upon the name that would save them, the name of Jesus. Panic has broken out in many places and mobs of people everywhere had gone into a rampage destroying, looting, burning and killing all who would get in their way; since this is the end they reasoned, they did not have to be accountable to any authorities here on earth, and utter rebellion to all forms of authority was their final act of defiance before God. For the people of the way this were apprehensive hours to say the least, for the undercurrent theme throughout the multitudes was that we were the ones to blame for the current occurrences, and vengeance against them seems to be the purest form of retribution. We had all come from different areas of the city, like drawn by an invisible force. We could tell just by looking at each other’s faces what we had in common in the middle of chaos, there was this peace and assurance, and a very reverent holy fear gripped us all. There wasn’t much talking among us, just a great deal of silent praying as we all had in our minds someone who we were not sure if they would have the strength to call on the name of Jesus amid their confusion. As I huddled with my family I glanced at the starry night and memories of days gone by flooded my mind. Life then just seemed so brief; It seemed like just yesterday I was a little boy, up in the early morning fishing with my dad. Feeling the early morning chill as I crawled towards the back of the boat to keep warm, enduring those hardships in the hope that the day would bring lots of fish and a great time with my dad. Hoping that I will catch that big one so that I will have something great to brag about to my friends. The glow of the fires illuminating the distant horizon brought me back to the reality of the moment. It was so real. How many times in our walk we felt like just giving up, without realizing how much was really at stake. And now there was no doubt as to what hangs on the balance of faith, for to deny Christ at this point in time is the greatest of all mistakes and one that would be regretted for eternity. How can something that seems so simple as exercising one’s faith be so hard? But there they were, multitudes in the valley of decision; since they had given themselves to believe the assurances of the world, that there is no God and that we humans had evolved, how can all of the sudden one give oneself to change one’s mind and belief? Just because of a few great signs, there must be a logical explanation for all these happenings. The greatest fear of all humanity at this point in time was that nobody had risen [yet] to the task of assuring the peoples of the world otherwise. In the other hand, for the people of the way all those years of reading and studying the bible trying to make sense of it all had paid off. All the events that were happening had such clarity to them, all those hidden things now made perfect sense. The breeze had changed direction as dawn approached and one could smell the burnt ashes of what used to be the hopes and dreams of mankind. The darkest hour of the night was nearly over and if one looked intensely towards the eastern skies, one could see the dawning of eternity for those whose hearts were filled with hope. But only the deepest of darkness remained for those who placed their hopes on the abilities of man, what they had trusted upon had betrayed them. If only there was another lie that they could believe, another reprieve to postpone the inevitable. We all as one got on our feet and began to gaze intensely towards the dawn. It was like an unheard voice was calling to each of us, “ARISE MY CHILDREN, YOUR HARD SERVICE HAS BEEN RENDERED.” It was finally over! As we stood there in the flesh, with the early morning breeze refreshing our souls for the last time in this body here on earth we knew that the trumpet was about to sound, and there was no going back. Oh, what a feeling! This would be the last time here on earth for us, in this body of sin. As I began to ponder as to how the transfer would take place, I saw HIM. He was dressed in a long white robe and was moving towards me rapidly. He was walking in the air at a very fast pace and yet He was moving at the same time, and it seemed at the speed of light. As he very rapidly approached me, I could see his face, and my eyes locked into his blazing eye. I could feel myself dying, for every fiber in my body trembled at his holy presence. My heart pounded loudly and out of control. I was so scared I could not keep from shaking, but as my flesh panted for air that it could not find, I found that from deep within me a new man was rising, and in a deep and clear voice it shouted “HALLELUJAH, HE KEPT HIS PROMISE”. As the struggle between the two was ending I felt a violent collision. JESUS had grabbed me right at the middle of the heart without slowing down and I suddenly moved at the speed of light through the air. I could feel my new body forming out of the old. My tongue which was plastered to the roof of my mouth because of the great speed at which we were traveling, could feel the missing teeth growing and my spirit could not stop shouting “HALLELUJAH, HE KEPT HIS PROMISE”. The apostolic foundation of the church, rooted in Christ the Chief Cornerstone, empowers believers to overcome darkness and stand ready for the rapture at the culmination of these apocalyptic events. Inspired Teaching: Zechariah 1:20 “Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen.” In the second vision that God revealed to Zechariah we are given a unique insight into the realm of spiritual warfare from an Old Testament perspective. It is my belief that all six of Zechariah’s visions are intricately connected to the prophecy in the book of Revelation about the four horseman of the Apocalypse that God had appointed to be revealed to those of us who are alive during the end of this age. Zechariah 1:8 “I saw by night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse, and it stood among the myrtle trees in the hollow; and behind him were horses: red, sorrel, and white.” In his first vision Zechariah sees horses of four different colors that the Lord sent to walk to and from throughout the earth. These different color horses are symbolic of the watchers that keep watch over the affairs of men and their relationship with God’s people here on the earth. Isaiah 62:6-7 “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” If we understand the underpinning of Zechariah’s first vision we will be able to make better sense, not only of Zechariah’s second vision as it pertains to spiritual warfare, but about the spiritual warfare that is going on right now, for we are presently living in the days of the unveiling of the four horseman of the book of Revelation. Zechariah 1:11 “So they answered the Angel of the Lord, who stood among the myrtle trees, and said, ‘We have walked to and from throughout the earth, and behold, all the earth is resting quietly.’” The first thing that we need to recognize in order to make sense of the visions is that they revolved around the city of Jerusalem. For seventy years the Lord had removed the Jewish people from the land of Judah and from the city of Jerusalem, to give the land the Sabbath day of rest that they owed the land. When Moses lead the Israelites out of Egypt, he instructed them that when they entered into the land that the Lord was giving them, that they were suppose to give the land a year of rest every seven years. No sowing and no reaping, they had to trust the Lord to provide for them a double harvest during the six years that would last them for the whole seventh year that they were not supposed to be tilling the land. They violated the law of the Sabbath rest for the land, for four hundred and ninety years consecutively, so that they owed the land seventy years of rest: 490 / 7 = 70 years. When the time for God’s judgment fell upon them, God used the nations of the earth to remove them from the land and to keep them out of the land for the seventy years that they owed. Zechariah 1:12 “Then the Angel of the Lord answered and said, ‘O Lord of hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which You were angry these seventy years?’” Zechariah, in his first vision is privy to an event that is taking place in the spiritual realm; he sees horses and asked what they mean. After he is told that they are the watchers that watch over the affairs of men, the Angel of the Lord speaks to God in front of Zechariah, reminding God that the seventy years are now over. God answers the Angel of the Lord with good and comforting words in verse thirteen. Then the reason is revealed as to why the Lord had given Zechariah a ringside seat, if you will, to what was going on in the spiritual realm, after he is told that he is to prophesy, within the context of all that he had witnessed, to the Jews that were in exile. Zechariah 1:14-15 “So the angel who spoke with me said to me, "proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: I am zealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with great zeal. I am exceedingly angry with the nations at ease; for I was a little angry, and they helped—but with evil intent.’” The Lord reveals that He is angry with the nations that He used to remove the Jews from Jerusalem and from the land of Judah, because of their evil intent while He was using them against His own people. As always the Lord’s judgments against the nations of the earth have to do with how they treated or mistreated His own people. Remember what God told Abraham when He entered into a covenant with him? I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you. Then Zechariah proceeded to proclaim to the Jews of his day that God was restoring them back into the land from where they had been exiled for seventy years, and that God would again choose Jerusalem as its capitol. Which leads us right into the second vision that deals with how the Lord removes the demonic strongholds that Satan placed over the nation of Israel, when he took advantage of them, while they were in exile for their disobedience to the commandments that God gave them through Moses. Zechariah 1:18 “Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were four horns.” Zechariah’s first vision began at night, which is symbolic of the spiritual darkness that was all around the nation of Israel at that time. In the second vision the Lord is revealing to Zechariah the source of the spiritual darkness that is all around him. Zechariah 1:19 “And I said to the angel who talked with me, ‘What are these?’ So he answered me, ‘These are the horns (powers) that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.’” When God’s hand of blessing is over a people, there is absolutely nothing that the devil can do against them, for our God is Almighty. The enemy knows that, as long as God’s protection is over His people, he is powerless against them, so he is always at work to temp those who belong to God into rebelling against God. Obedience to God always brings enlightenment, and disobedience to God always brings darkness. Zechariah 1:2-3 “The Lord has been very angry with your fathers. Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: Return to Me,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘And I will return to you,’ says the Lord of hosts.” The Lord was very angry with the fathers because of their disobedience to the commandment of God in regards to their obligation to give the land a year of rest every seventh year. Now that their debt is paid in full, for they have been out of the land for seventy years, they can be restored back to their land if they return to the Lord first, and acknowledge that without God in their midst they are in darkness. Zechariah 1:20-21 “Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen. And I said, ‘What are these coming to do?’ So he said, ‘These are the (four) horns (powers) that scattered Judah, so that no one could lift up his head; but the craftsmen are coming to terrify them, to cast out the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.’” In warfare whoever controls the high ground has the advantage over their adversary; because of their disobedience to the Word of God Israel was put at a disadvantage where they could not lift up their heads and have a clear picture of their spiritual condition. Now that they are returning to God, the Lord sends them four craftsmen or carpenters to dismantle the demonic infrastructure that prevents them from regaining the upper hand, the lifting up of their heads. Notice the language that the angel uses that describes how these demonic hordes will be terrified by these four craftsmen before they are cast out. What are these four craftsmen symbolic of? 2 Corinthians 12:12 “Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds.” The four craftsmen are symbolic of the apostolic anointing! The apostolic anointing is the force that God brings about to dismantle the four horns or powers that keep God’s children in darkness. What are the four horns symbolic of? Galatians 5:19-21 “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outburst of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God (which is light, and those who practice those things are still in darkness).” The four horns are symbolic of the works of the flesh! PERVERSION: Adultery, Fornication, Uncleanness and Lewdness. DIVISION: Hatred, Contentions, Envy and Jealousies. FALSE RELIGION: Idolatry, Sorcery, Dissensions and Heresies. MALFUNCTION: Outbursts of Wrath, Murder, Drunkenness and Revelries. At the center ofcourse is Selfish Ambition the soul motivator before we became born-again. I took the liberty of dividing them into four categories that revolve around the self motivated soul. The number seventeen is the seventh prime number. Zechariah’s first vision is recorded in chapter one, beginning in verse seven to verse seventeen. A clear double emphasis that the Holy Spirit reveals to us to show us how important to our present day Zechariah’s visions are. Also, all of us have sixteen great-great-grandparents in our family tree, and if you form a pyramid with self sitting on top of it, with two parents directly below, four grandparents below them, eight great-grandparents below them and sixteen great-great-grandparents as the foundation of the pyramid, it shows how our soul is affected by the iniquity of the fathers which is with whom the Lord was angry in Zechariah 1:2. 0 = 1 Self 0-0 = 2 Parents 0-0-0-0 = 4 Grandparents 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 = 8 Great-grandparents 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 = 16 Great-great-grandparents. Exodus 20:5-6 “You shall not bow down to them nor serve (worship) them (idols). For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me (idolatry is seen by God as hatred towards Him), but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.” We are living in the age of grace, and the church has been established on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets, with our Lord Jesus Christ as the Chief Cornerstone. The time for our redemption is now, for our sin debt that we owed God has been fully paid for by our Savior on the cross. As the Lord spoke during Zechariah’s day, that if we return to Him He will return to us. We are living in the days right now when those that call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. But remember also that with our salvation comes deliverance from the forces of darkness that kept us bound. It is the apostolic anointing that terrifies the devil, for through its revelation we become empowered. Remember the words of Jesus, You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free! Yes, we are living in the days of the white horse, the antichrist, for there are many out there striving to deceive those of us who are the children of light. Yes, we are living in the days of the red horse, the days of war and terror as our Lord predicted. Yes there is a global economy being forged right now that is paving the way for a one world government, the black horse that will control all commerce and all of its financial transactions. The pale horse whose rider is death, followed closely by Hades, soon will be given power to bring war over one fourth of the earth. This is the conflict that will usher in the rapture of the church; let’s be ready for it. Zechariah 2:10/13 “Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! Welcome and happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. God bless each and every one of you. Amen. Welcome. This message is called Give It to God, Psalm 3. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We ask that our ears are open, our eyes are open, that we could see and hear your word, and that our hearts and minds are open, that we receive, apply, live it, and don't forget it. Lord, thank you for your word to live within us. And thank you for your son, Jesus. Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins. And thank you for showing us how to give it to you and to be blessed and saved because we gave it to you in the glorious name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture here. Very excited about this message. First, I taught a brief version of this Tuesday night at Empower Hour. Um basically gave everyone some homework. So, we're going to elaborate further on those scriptures in this message because I can go a little longer here. And um you know, as you know, we're getting ready to move out of state. So, this is something I plan to continue to be blessed with and continue to delve into on Tuesday nights with this church here. It's a beautiful gem of a church. If you're in the local area, this is something you want to come and see. They God's anointing is there is there is awesome. I truly enjoy it. All right, let's go to our opening scripture here. We're going to start in the very first two scriptures of Psalm 3 1-2. David is writing and he says, "Lord, how they have increased who trouble me. Many are they who rise up against me. Many are they who say of me. There is no help for him in God. Sah." All right. So, let's lay some foundation work here because to understand this psalm and to understand what David said in this psalm, why he said it, we have to go back and look at the situation that he's in at this moment. Because I'm going to tell you right now, that's the thing is there's people here who are not really grasping the situation that David is in. He is in a very remarkable situation because we deal with family dynamics. uh each of us have brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, parents, children. We all have to deal with our personalities that tend to clash in the family dynamics. So, you're going to see what David does here and you're going to see the deliverance, the salvation take place. It is truly an awesome message that I'm It's worth teaching twice. Amen. All right. So, we're going to go back to 2 Samuel here because we want to go back to what David is dealing with. So, we need to go to 2 Samuel chapter 13. We're going to start here in verses 37-39. But Abselam fled and went to Talmi, the son of Amihood, king of Geisher, and David mourned for his son every day. I want to pause there. So, Abselam is David's thirdborn son. And his mother's name is Maaka. Sorry, I may have butchered that. I humbly apologize. Uh, but basically, um, here's this young man, Absilon. Actually, a very handsome man. Apparently, he had some thick, gorgeous hair that all the women went after. Um, apparently he had it cut once a year and it weighed about 200 shekels. I don't know what that means, but I know that it was heavy. He had to have it cut every year because it was heavy. But you know us girls, we like a good head of hair and we all wish we had it in our own hair. Amen. Anyway, so here's Abselam. He is doing something that something happened here. So David's got many wives. He's got all these children. They're stepchildren, step halfiss, half sisters, half brothers. And uh he Abselon ends up killing one of David's other sons named Amnan. Amnan had an infatuation with his sister Tamar. Uh he was so in love with her he ends up raping her. Uh he ends up u then hating her viciously. And Abselum was just so hurt by the situation that he went and killed his brother Amnan. And he figured out a way to do it. He leaves the family. He goes away. He's fleeting. That's the scripture we're in right now. Eventually, when Abselon has his own children, excuse me, I'm getting over a cold. When he starts to have his own children, one of his daughters he names Tamar. So, she he you can tell there was something there that Abselon loved his sister and he hated his brother. He went and killed him. So, here he is fleeting fleeing. Let's go take a look at the scripture. And I pray, Lord, let my speech come out eloquently. Let's do this right. Amen. All right, let's do this. Um, so Abselum, but Abselum fled and went to Talmi, the son of Amihood, king of Gisher. And David more mourned for his son every day. That's his son Amnan he's referring to. So Abselum fled and went to Gisher and was there three years. And King David longed to go to Abselum for he had been comforted concerning Amnan because he was dead. So basically David has moved on from the death of his son Amnan. he really wanted to have um a restoration between him and Abselum. And a lot of time goes by and there's there's this dynamics now where you've got a father and a son who just don't come together in forgiveness. And you're going to see that play a huge role here. It changes the dynamics of everything. Let's continue on. We're going to be now in chapter 14. We're going to read verses 19- 21. So the king said, "Is the hand of Joab with you in all this?" All right, let's pause here for a moment. So Joab sees what's going on between David and Abselum. So Joab decides to try to make an effort. He gets Abselum. He brings him back to the city and basically David refuses to go see him. So that's what's going on here. So Abselon sends this woman to David and she ends up talking about two sons that she had. One kills the other. Now the justice system is trying to kill the other son and she's like, "I'm not going to have an inheritance." She goes to David about this. So David says, "I promise you we're not going to kill your other son." And she speaks up. Now let's look at what and and notice the king, by the way, is going to figure out Joab was involved with this. So this is the king now figuring out what's going on. David's figuring out. So he says to the king, "Is the hand of Joab with you in all this?" And the woman answered and said, "As you live, my lord the king, no one can turn to the right hand or to the left from anything that my lord the king has spoken. For your servant Joab commanded me," and he put all these words in the mouth of your servant to bring this about this change of affairs. Your servant Joab has done this thing. But my lord is wise according to the wisdom of the angel of God to know everything that is in the earth." And the king said to Job, "All right, I have granted this thing. Go therefore bring back the young man Abselum. So now he gives him back. But you're going to find here he refuses to see him. David, King David refuses to see him. Look, look at here. David, as much as he's the apple of God's eye, he's got a lot of issues. I mean, he had an affair with Basheba and God and then kills her husband because now she's about to have a child that's his and he actually murders someone. So, David's got issues, but God keeps blessing him. I really want you guys to see that. You know, it doesn't matter who you are. As long as you believe in Christ and you keep giving it to the Lord and just keep seeking the presence of the Lord, your humanity does define you, but Jesus over impressions that he he overcomes that and you get change as you mature. And you're going to see David go through this maturity level here when he forgives Abselon. This is truly amazing. This is so remarkable that you have to understand that the spirit of God is involved with this. This is not a human thing. Okay? Want you to understand that. All right. Let's go look. Joab goes to bring back uh Abselon. This is in 14:23. So Joab arose and went to Gher and brought Abselon to Jerusalem. And the king said, "Let him return to his own house, but do not let him see my face." So Abselon returned to his house, but did not see the king's face. you will find that David refuses him for three years. So David is like, "All right, you can bring him back. I'm not going to kill the kid." Okay, he he but he he's not going to forgive him either. Now, unforgiveness causes death in the long term. You hold on to unforgiveness, you hold on to bitterness, you will eventually die of some sort of cancer, blood disease or something because you were unforgi you could not forgive. You see, Jesus forgave you of your sins. He forgave me of my sins. And if he can forgive us, as long as you forgive others, he will forgive you as well. Let it go. Give it to God. You're going to see how we do that here very shortly. Let's continue on and see the transactions that you can see now we have this um unresolved relationship between David and Abselum. And now you're going to see how it blows out of proportion. Let's continue on and see their lives and what happens here. Now we're in verses 25 and 26 in chapter 14. And this is 2 Samuel we're still in. Now in all Israel there was no one who praised as much as Abselon for his good looks. From the sole of his foot to the crown of his head, there was no blemish in him. And when he cut the hair of his head, at the end of every year, he cut it because it was heavy on him. When he cut it, he weighed the hair of his head at 200 shekels according to the king's standard. So, very beautiful young man. All the women loved him. The people loved him. He's the son of the king. He's got a lot of favors and blessings going his way. Look at what happens here. This is now verse 33. So Joab went to the king and told him and when he had called for Abselon, he came to the king and bowed himself on his face to the ground before the king. Then the king kissed Abselon. So eventually three years go by. You can go read the in between verses here. Otherwise, if I read all of it, the time we've really run out of time, but basically Abselum gets frustrated. He's in Jerusalem. He is waiting there. Three years go by. His dad won't see him. So he Joab had a field next to where Abselon was staying. And so Abselon burns Joab's field. Job goes, "Why'd you do that?" And Abselon says, "You brought me here. You got to get my dad to see me." And so this dynamic is going on. And here Joab is playing a third party role in here. And so now finally Joab convinces David to see his son. His son sees him and kisses him. But notice there's still no resolution. What else happened? Where did this go? Let's go to chapter 15:es 1-6. Look at this. After this, it happened that Abselum provided himself with chariots and horses and 50 men to run before him. So Abselum is welcomed back into the city. He's welcomed back into the kingdom. He is the prince's son, the the king's son, a prince, and he has an inheritance, but he decides to do something here. So, let's look at what he decides to do. Because now you're going to see the heart of Absilon. You're going to see what this guy is really like on the inside. He might look good on the outside, ladies, but sometimes we got to go for the other ones because man, the heart on the inside is what the heart is. In this case, it's not very pretty. 50 men to run before. In verse two, now Abselum would rise early and stand beside the way to the gate. So it was whenever anyone who had a lawsuit came to the king for a decision that Abselon would call to him and say what city are you from and he would say your servant is from such and such tribe of Israel. Then Abselon would say to him look your case is good and right but there is no deputy of the king to hear you. Moreover Abselon would say oh that I were made judge in the land and everyone who has any suit or cause would come to me. that I would give him justice. And so it was whenever anyone came near to bow down to him that he would put out his hand and take him and kiss him. In this manner, Abselom acted toward all Israel who came to the king for judgment. So Abselom stole the hearts of the men of Israel. Now, just so you understand what's going on here, people would come up to the gate and they would be allowed in to bring their case to the king. The king was the judge. He's the acting judge. He's the one who made all the decisions for the people's cases. And Abselum decided to intervene, bring it on himself. Now, you know, I'm sure they told David and I'm sure he's looking at this going maybe this is uh he's my son. He could be the future king here. Maybe he needs to learn it. Let him do it. So, there's now this dynamic that's happening. Absalom is basically saying, "I'll take care of your case. I scratch your back, you scratch mine. Quit proquo." So now the people are falling for Absilon. They They have a thing for him. They are realizing, "Hey, he's got a lot of potential. Future king on our hands." H I wonder what that means. I mean, let let's think about this for a minute. Is there anything wrong with that? He took the role of a functioning king, limited the role to the king and brought it to himself to the people like a deceiver would come in between God and the Christian who trust in God. Think about that for a moment. When deception comes in, it's so subtle and yet this this was very subtle. So subtle that 40 years go by and nobody realized what's going on. Let's continue. Let's read. Let's find out what else is going on in the king's life and in this prince's life. So now verses seven and 8. Now it came to pass after 40 years that Abselon said to the king, "Please let me go to Hebron Hebron and pay the vow which I made to the Lord. For your servant took a vow while I dwelt at Gisher in Syria, saying, "If the Lord indeed brings me back to Jerusalem, then I will serve the Lord." Pause. We know that the scriptures are complete and they tell the truth. And you can find this in in Chronicles and in Samuel. You'll find that you've got man's version and you've got God's version written here. I will tell you this much. Abselon did not make that kind of a vow 40 years earlier when he was in Geisher. He did not. How do I know this? Because this is the first time you're hearing of it 40 years later. Almost as if it magically just appeared in his mind that, oh wait, I did talk to God. I made a vow to him. And he ends up believing it. And now he's saying to his father, let me go to Hebron. By the way, where did King David rule first? in Hebron. Do you see what the enemy is sneaking in to do now? He's been, you know, and David is the acting gobetween between God and his people. He's the one that has the in between. And so the people are blessed because David is blessed because David's going to God. So people go to David. David goes to God. God goes to David. David comes to the people. Now Abselum is skipping the God part. So you have a godly people and you have an ungodly people and you can see a line of division taking place. So now Abselum is ready to make his move. He thinks he has enough people on his side. Let's continue on and read what else happens here. It's very important. Now we're in verses 10 and 11 chapter 15. Then Abselon sent then Abselum sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel saying as soon as you hear the sound of the trumpet. Then you shall say Abselum reigns in Hebron. And with Abselum went 200 men invited from Jerusalem. And they went along innocently and did not know anything. Oh, look at how subtle his dark secret comes out in the word of God, doesn't it? So now he's declaring himself as king in Hebron when the nation of Israel already has a king and they're all united under David. So let's see what happens because now we're going to figure out what's going on. So now a messenger, this is verses 13 and 14. Now a messenger came to David saying the hearts of the men of Israel are with Abselum. So David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, "Arise and let us flee, or we shall not escape from Abselum, make haste to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly and bring disaster upon us and strike the city with the edge of the sword." Okay, this is very, very important. David has more people on his side. The nation is for him. If he stood up and made a stand, the people would stand for him and they will overcome Abselum. But David didn't make that decision. He decides to leave Abselon alone and step aside. That's crazy. But you have to understand David. David David has a very interesting history throughout the Bible. He's the most spoke about king in the Bible. And he he had the opportunity to kill King Saul twice. I mean, he was at the foot of King Saul, and David said, "I ain't messing with God's anointed." You see, David understood who God is. Even when he uh had the affair with Basheba, they killed her husband Uriah, God took that baby and took him home. Didn't let David and Basheba raise him. For whatever reason, God took him. But David begged and begged and begged. God said no. David already understood that his son that he didn't get to know and didn't get to raise was in God's hands. A much better place for the record. So David now sees his other son who's now grown. He's his own man trying to take over the kingdom. And instead of causing death and destruction between the two houses, he decides to let him be and he's going to let God deal with it. He is doing this because he doesn't want anyone else to die. It is an internal family matter. Yes, it does affect the whole nation because he is king. But at the same time, everyone who serves him follows him and he knows what God can do. So David decides to flee. Now in Psalm when we read verses 1 and two, we're going to get back to that here in just a moment. David begins a journey. He leaves Abselum. He decides to step aside and he goes on a journey and things come out of the woodworks. Let's go take a glimpse of that right here. We're now in chapter 16:es 5-8. Now when King David came to Bahurim, there was a man from the family of the house of Saul. Now remember, he didn't kill King Saul, he had the opportunity to, but King Saul died in war. An arrow hit him and then his armor bearer took his life. That's how King Saul died. Now look at what this guy who is a descendant of him whose name was Sheime the son of Ger coming from there he came out cursing continuously as he came there was a man from the family of the house of Saul yeah so he's part of the house I don't know if he's actually a family member ancestor might just be somebody who supported King Saul's family not sure again you can delve into these scriptures and and learn about this on your own. This message is already long as it is, so I'm trying to keep things as brief as I could. But whose name was Shimmy, the son of Garrett, coming from there, he came out cursing continuously as he came. He threw stones at David. And all the servants of King David, and all the people, and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left. And Shimmy said thus when he cursed, "Come out! Come out, you bloodthirsty man, you rogue. The Lord has brought upon you all the blood of the house of Saul in whose place you have reigned. And the Lord has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Abselum, your son. So now you are caught in your own evil because you are a bloodthirsty man. Here comes all the curses. So you can see now that now that people are getting more bold because Absilon has declared himself king of Hebron people are now looking they're thinking maybe we do need a new king somebody fresh young uh sounds attractive he's he did this for me did you know that and you know all the rumors are flying and David doesn't say anything he just steps aside. Look at what happens here next. If I recall, um, and David, so Aishi and all his servants, see how my son who came from my own body, he's talking now. David is talking to Aishai in his servants. See how my son who came from my own body seeks my life. How much more now may this Benjamite basically this guy, what's his name again? Abishai. He says to David prior to these scriptures, "You want me to go chop his head off?" By the way, David's army is the most remarkable army I have ever recognized. Um, they are men of God, but they are men of war. They're bloodthirsty men. They truly are. They They would rather kill you and apologize later than to question you and find out what's going on. So this guy says to David, "You want me to go chop his head off?" He did ask. At least Joab doesn't. You're going to find out about Joab here in a little bit. Joab doesn't ask. Joab is really one of those that uh I think modern day CEOs would love to have him because he would get things done. But anyways, he's asking Dave, "You want me to go chop his head off?" Here's David's response. He says, "He seeks my life. How much more now this Benjamin let him alone and let him curse? For so the Lord has ordered him. You notice this? He's recognizing that God's in control here. And the Lord ordered this guy to curse him. And he's recognizing this. Wait a minute. I'm getting cursed by my friends, by the doctors, by my work, by the road. All these people flipping their fingers off. I mean, all I am is doing. I'm in my lane. They're the ones who crossed over into my lane. Blah blah blah blah. that all these curses are coming along and David says the Lord ordered him. There's a whole different way of thinking here, isn't there? Look at David. Look at this man of God. Look at this. Let him curse for the Lord has ordered him. It may be that the Lord will look on my affliction and that the Lord will repay me with good for his cursing this day. There's something David understood here. You see, remember, he didn't kill King Saul because he says, "I'm not messing with God's anointed." He knew King David knew he's God's anointed. He's the king of the nation of Israel. He was established. Samuel anointed him. He knew this was his kingdom. Even though he stepped aside, he knew he was on God's side. So, he steps aside saying, "Let him curse." Cuz he knew that curse was going to bounce off of him and go back to him. And which then he also knew then that means I'm gonna be blessed for it. Let them curse. What you're gonna find out here at the end of Psalm here in just a minute how they don't have a bite. Let them curse. It means nothing as long as you're God's anointed. You come before God. You humble yourself before God and you don't curse back. Look at what David is showing us. Showing us this. let it go. Give it to God attitude in his life in the actual circumstance he's dealing with. And we're talking life and death here. Because if his son had enough people, they would come after him and they're going to kill him. He This is life and death. But instead, he says, "Let him curse. Let him curse." So, let's go back to Psalm three real quick because I want you to know, now you see David where he is. You got his son who's got now a small following. You've got him on his journey and these guys are cursing him. Excuse me. Cursing him. He gets up to the top of this mountain. He's got his hood on, his robe on and he's coming to God and he's praying. Watch. Let's look at all the stuff. So first saying, he talks about all the people coming out of the woodworks. It's what we read earlier. Lord, how they have increased who trouble me. Many are they who rise up against me. Many are they who say of me, there is no help for him in God. Look at that Benjamite that came out that was of Saul. He came out and tell him, you know what? This is God removing you. You see that? I mean, how does this Benjamite doesn't know that? But here, David is saying, here they all come, Lord. Here they come. He's talking to God. He's speaking. You need to speak, Lord. And you put Lord Jesus over your circumstance, and salvation takes place. Watch this. Let's continue on verse three. But you, oh Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. Now imagine, put put yourself in David's shoes, which you probably can. You've got your family members, not all of them get along, even parents to children. You have grandparents. There the dynamics of the family situation in the world today is horrific. There are very few families that hold it together, but there there are there's some there. It's just that there's not very many. So then you have those you've got your work. You've got our whole economy. You got our presidency. You got our government. The way things are going. I mean, all hell's breaking loose. Your head is weary. It is down. But you say, "Lord, Lord Jesus." Oh, look what happens when David does this. I cried to the Lord with my voice and he heard me from his holy hill sa I laid down and slept. I awoke for the Lord sustained me. He cried. His head was weary. He had it down on his table or on his pillow. He was curled up in a ball and he's crying Lord and he knew that Lord heard him heard him and he slept. Remember Jesus the Sea of Galilee on the ship and it's being battered by a storm and the the people on board are like what are you doing sleeping? We're about to die. Jesus is like, "I'm at peace. What are you talking about?" And he tells the storm to stop. He spoke to the storm. David spoke to God. Both actions required speaking. Could David have spoken to his son? To the people? Sure. But he went to God, which was the better way to handle this. Jesus is the son of God. So Jesus, he heard his people on that ship come to him. Aren't you even afraid? Because they're now talking to him. They spoke. Lord, aren't you afraid? They spoke. You know, you can go to God and say, you know what, Lord, I'm scared of this situation. I don't know what's going on. I know you're there. You haven't moved. I see you sleeping, but wake up because I need you. Jesus woke up and he spoke because you went to him. cuz you spoke. Oh, you guys got to give it and you give it to the Lord. You let it go. David had deliverance. If you ever go into the deliverance ministry, the one thing you will see and know and understand is people weep. They break on the inside and they let it go. That's exactly what David did. And he slept. Then he awoke and he says, "The Lord sustained me." Let's continue. Look at this. I lay down and I slept. I woke for the Lord sustained me. And then look at this. I will not be afraid of 10 thousands of people who have set themselves around me. Look at this here. He was weary. He was his head was so heavy. He he he was broken on the inside. But he called on God. Now his spirit man on the inside all of a sudden got strength, holiness, and says, "I'm not going to be afraid of these 10,000 people." For the record, he had more people than Abselum anyways. And his men were seasoned men who killed. David just said the commandment, they did it. So he outnumbered them. He outmanned them in the sense of these are men that were seasoned warriors. So David had this one, but at the same time here he is before the Lord crying to the Lord cuz he couldn't see it. Part of it is this is his son and he's realizing God is probably going to take my son away. But remember David had already learned the lesson about this. I think I'm going to teach on this next time. God has a place for people after death. And David understood this. I'm just going to say that here for now because I want to teach on that in more depth with a lot more scripture. But I'm telling you here and now. David knew the God he served. He knew what he had done already with his one son. He knew he would take care of his second son. He knew David now was at peace and he knew what would take place. All right. So now let's go back to Abselon because now Abselon is attempting to maneuver the army, go after David. He's attempting to do this. Let's go look and see the scriptures that talk about this. So here is we're in chapter 18. We're going to read verses 9-1 15. Then Abselum met the servants of David. So they're kind of having a like a talk about what they're going to do and come up with this. So here Abselon's meeting with the servants of David and Abselon rode on a mule. Now this mule went under the thick bows of a great terabin tree and his head, this is Abselon's head, got caught in the terabin. So he was left hanging between heaven and earth. And the mule which was under him went on. So the mule kept going and that thick luscious head of hair ladies got stuck in the tree and he couldn't get himself out and he was hanging there. He was stuck. That's a God thing. Yeah. I'm just saying. Think of Hollywood. They trip up and get lost in their own beauty. What they think is beauty. And here the Lord got Abselon hanging here on a tree. Now let's continue. I want to read this. Now a certain man, verse 10. Now a certain man saw it and told Joab and said, I just saw Abselon hanging in a terabith tree. I don't mean to laugh, but at the same time, that's funny because, you know, this this guy's like, he sees him there. He doesn't know what to do, but he's like, I'm not touching him. You see, this is a guy that follows David and knows, don't touch God's anointed. Not that this guy's anointed. He's the son of the king. So, he's like, I'm not touching David's son. But he's telling Joab, remember I told you about Joab, told you about these people, this man especially, he likes to kill and then apologize later. Let's read the scripture. So Joab said to the man who told him, "You just saw him and why did you not strike him there to the ground? I would have given you 10 shekels of silver in a belt." But the man said to Job, "Though I were to receive a thousand shekels of silver in my hand, I would not raise my hand against the king's son. For in our hearing the king commanded you and Abishai and it saying beware lest anyone touch the young man Amselon. So David already warned him don't you dare kill him. Don't you dare do it. And look what happens here. Otherwise I would have dealt falsely against my own life because this man is still talking to Joab. And for there is nothing hidden from the king and you yourself would have set yourself against me. In other words, what he's saying is, "If I had killed him, you would have killed me." Simple as that. So, look what Joab responds with. Then Joab said, "I cannot linger with you." And he took three spears in his hand and thrust them through Abselum's heart while he was still alive in the midst of the Terabin tree. And 10 young men who bore Joab's armor surrounded Abselum and struck and killed him. Apologize later. Kill him now. So Joab took matters into his own hand. Remember though, let's take a look at potential scenarios here. You you got to understand this. Absolum hung there for who how long? So this guy sees him. He has to leave, go see Joab, which is probably over a hill. Could have taken 15 minutes, half an hour, maybe an hour. Then you know they had their little argument and Joab has to come back to kill him. So it's a potential hour there that this guy hung. Did this guy Abselum call on God? He had plenty of opportunity. God put him in a in a situation where no one could help him unless he reached out to God. And Abselum did not reach out to God. You don't repent. You don't come to God. you don't give up your unforgiveness, you will die. Whether it's in a tree with your hair or through cancer or blood disease, all because of unforgiveness, because of bitterness or desire. Maybe he really wanted to be king and figured now's my time to become king. Whatever the motive was, he was unrepentive, which tells me if you repent, you will live a long and blessing of a life. Why? Because that's what God does. He blesses his anointed. You repent, you become his anointed. Understand that. Grasp that. Let's go back to Psalm 3 now and see what else David says about this because I want you to see the conclusion of the matter. Because now again, he loses a son. But watch verse 7. Arise, O Lord, save me, oh my God, for you have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone. You have broken the teeth of the ungodly. Now I'm going to stop. David felt the pressure of the situation he was in. Now remember, he's the one who fled. He stepped aside. He decided to let God handle the situation. But David felt the pressure because how many people came out of the woodworks to vote for Abselum, live for Abselum, curse him at the same time. So he felt the pressure. He had a bite on his arm. It hurt. The pressure was there, but God kicked the teeth out of their mouth. And guess what? They were gumming him in the spirit. They could not break through him because they had no teeth. They had no cheekbone, no strength in their mouth. It was just gummy. There was no real danger of any real pressure of being killed or anything for David. It was not there. felt like it because there was pressure there. But you know how many times you play with a kitten or a puppy and they bite, but they don't have the fully formed teeth. They're they're it doesn't hurt. It doesn't break your skin. It's just a little pressure. It's cute. Do you see what David is acknowledging here? He is telling you that you all hell's broken loose. But he went to God. He said, "Lord, and now he says the Lord took their bite." They have no bite. They can only gum you. And even gumming, depending how how much of a bite they try to take, they can't get a whole lot with just gumming you. That goes to show how ineffective the enemy is against a believer in God who says, "Lord, say it. Speak it." Look what happens next. The last verse here in Psalm three verse eight salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon your people. Say salvation being saved. You're saved to this situation. And guess what? He David is acknowledging that you want to get saved that belongs to the Lord. Don't try to save yourself. Go to God and he will save you. It belongs to the Lord. Oh, and then your blessing is upon your people. And then the blessings pour out on his people. All those people that chose to follow Abselum, they disappeared quickly, pledged faltty to King David, and the nation came back together. There was never though any resolution of forgiveness between David and Abselum. And I'm sure David's preference, by the way, would have been that. But he had to give it to the Lord because that unforgiveness had fettered festered, excuse me, for 40 years. God knew the hardness of the heart. He knew the condition of the heart of Abselum. But David trusted God enough to know that even if you take him, he belongs to you, not me. Even though he's my son, he belongs to you. And what you choose to do with him, I know that when I will be in your presence, cuz someday we will all be in the presence of the Lord eventually. We will be comforted and at peace because we can trust in the Lord with what happens after death. Can't see it now, but we'll know when we get there. What a powerful word of God. Let it go. Give it up. Give it to the Lord and say, "Lord, you take care of this." Imagine saying that over your family members, over your finances, over your body, your health. So, you swell up. tell God he's Lord of Jesus over your inflamed body or um swollen body. You know, as we age, these are the things that we have to deal with as we age. But if you put the Lord first, he takes good care of it. Amen. Amen. Amen. Give it to the Lord. Let it go. And watch God's salvation work in your life. He will move mountains. He will move the desert. He will move everything to make certain that he blesses you because you gave it to him. Imagine if everyone was doing that. Oh my goodness. What kind of world would we be living in? Huh? Oh, anyways, this is an awesome message. Let's close in a word of f in a word of prayer. Father God, thank you for your blessing and your anointing in your word. And we thank you and I I pray that people hear this, respond and receive and and walk in it, Father God. letting go of their unforgiveness, letting go of their pain and suffering and saying, "Lord, you are Lord Jesus over this." And I give it to you. And I pray, Lord, that you walk in the principle of your word, which I know you are honorable and faithful to do so. And then I look forward to seeing people's lives changed because they said, "Lord, thank you for your word, Father God, in the glorious name of Jesus." Amen. Amen. God bless you. In Jesus’ name amen! 1 John 2:27 NKJV 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you [a]will abide in Him. What is the anointing? It’s something that God gives you, the believer, that abides in you. It allows you to be taught the Word of God by this ‘anointing’ and not man. It is truthful and not misleading nor is it contaminated by man’s way of thinking or beliefs. First, we need to ask ourselves what is the anointing because once we recognize what that is, we can move to the next step, abiding in Him, to activate this anointing. Acts 2:2-3 NKJV 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them [a]divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. On April 9, 1906, we saw this same thing happen on Azusa street, downtown Los Angeles. Here’s an except of the event on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azusa_Street_Revival On the night of April 9, 1906, Seymour and seven men were waiting on God on Bonnie Brae Street, "when suddenly, as though hit by a bolt of lightning, they were knocked from their chairs to the floor," and the other seven men began to speak in tongues and shout out loud praising God. The news quickly spread; the city was stirred; crowds gathered; and a few days later Seymour himself received the Holy Spirit; services were moved outside to accommodate the crowds who came from all around; people fell down under the power of God as they approached; people were baptized in the Holy Spirit and the sick were healed and sinners received salvation.[2] This is the same thing that happened when the 120 individuals were in the upper room waiting after Jesus ascended into heaven in Acts chapter 2. The anointing has physical attributes. It’s a mighty rushing wind that comes. It feels like being hit by a bolt of lightening. It physically feels like you’re knocked down and folks start speaking in tongues that people will recognize as their own language. Acts even describes those tongues as fire on top of each of those persons. You may want to take a moment to read Acts chapter 2. It also draws a lot of attention. In both Acts and Azusa street revivals, people were drawn, saved, healed, and delivered. Is this anointing dead? I ask this question because I don’t see this happening today, June 13, 2021. Why don’t we see it anymore? If it happened in Acts and on Azusa street, it can happen today and we know it will happen just before the return of the Lord on that great and dreadful day of the Lord: Acts 2:17-20 NKJV 17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. So, if this should happen in the end times, we need to take a closer look at this and be ready for it because we’re already seeing people have dreams and visions. We saw Israel became a name in 1947. We saw Jerusalem become the capital in 1967. We saw the pestilence of covid, we’re seeing large earthquakes, we’re seeing wars and rumor of wars – Matthew 24, Luke 21, Jeremiah 30:3, etc. One very important factor to notice about Acts and the Azusa street revival is at the beginning of both events. People were waiting in a dwelling place. Let’s read 1 John 2:27 again… 1 John 2:27 NKJV 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you [a]will abide in Him. Notice the last statement: ‘will abide in Him’. What does it mean to ‘abide in Him’ and why is that important? Jeremiah 30:18a NKJV “Thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will bring back the captivity of Jacob’s tents, And have mercy on his dwelling places; Jeremiah 30:21b-22 NKJV Then I will cause him to draw near, And he shall approach Me; For who is this who pledged his heart to approach Me?’ says the Lord. 22 ‘You shall be My people, And I will be your God.’ ” First, Jeremiah tells us that the Lord will bring back the captivity of Jacob’s tents – dwelling place. Where you are, is your dwelling place. Jeremiah tells us that God will have mercy on that dwelling place. Mercy means forgiveness. Where you are, ask God to forgive you. As Job did it all the time for himself, and his family, we should do so always also. I suggest reading the book of Job at your earliest convenience. Second, once you have that mercy, how should you respond? How do you show your thankfulness. Read Jeremiah 30:22 again. 22 ‘You shall be My people, And I will be your God.’ ” In your dwelling place, say this: “God, I belong to You and You belong to me”. That’s one way to say thank you. Or another words, praise and worship Him. Say things that acknowledges God is great. Here are a couple of scriptures that praises God: Matthew 21:42 NKJV 42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing, And it is marvelous in our eyes’? You can call Him the chief cornerstone knowing that He is marvelous. Psalm 8:1 NKJV 8 O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! You can tell Him how great is His name and how His glory is above the heavens. Now that you’re in the dwelling place, declaring that God belongs to you and you belong to God, now you wait. The 120 waited – Acts 2…William Seymour and those seven men waited. You wait knowing that: Joel 2:28-32 NKJV (This is what Peter quoted in Acts 2 beginning in verse 17 (read earlier) 28 “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. 30 “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. 32 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be [a]saved. Their simultaneous reappearance in modern times (Israel restored as a nation, the rise of the United Nations, and the renewed activity within the Church) signals preparation for the “dispensation of the fullness of the times.” In this period, Christ will gather all things in heaven and earth into Himself, and all dispensations will face their final judgment. The seventh and final dispensation, the Kingdom Age (Rest), will be the reign of Christ for one thousand years, fulfilling God’s plan of restoration. Just as Peter was judged and restored in the same settings of his failure, so too will each dispensation be judged and resolved before God establishes His everlasting kingdom. The lesson closes with a sobering call to discern current events—such as America’s waning constitutional strength—as part of prophecy’s unfolding. Believers are urged to remain prayerful and steadfast, anticipating the soon-coming consummation when Christ unites all creation under His rule. Inspired Teaching: Ephesians 1:10 “That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.” What is the dispensation of the fullness of the times? Through the centuries theologians have discovered that God deals with humanity through differing epochs of time called dispensations. Each dispensation of time differs from another by the rules under which God deals with humanity in each unique dispensation of time. Theologians also figure out that there are seven such dispensations revealed in Scripture, with the last dispensation being the dispensation of rest, also known as the Kingdom Age, when Jesus will rule and reign over the entire world and all of its inhabitants for one thousand years. There were only two people under the jurisdiction of the first dispensation, Adam and Eve, and their time in the Garden is called the dispensation of innocence, and it was the first dispensation, and there was only one rule that applied to them while in Paradise: Genesis 2:16-17 “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, ‘Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.’” After Adam and Eve sinned by disobeying God’s command not to eat of the fruit that would cause them to become self-aware, they were driven out of the Garden Paradise and into a different place and dispensation. Although we are not told how long Adam and Eve were in the Garden before they sinned, we know that the next dispensation that they were put under lasted 1,656 years, and ended with Noah’s flood. This new dispensation was called the dispensation of conscience because Adam and Eve and their descendants became very much aware of their nakedness that they inherited through Adam and Eve’s disobedience. Genesis 6:5 “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Once man became self-aware of his sinful nature and realized the hopelessness of his situation, eventually he gave himself to think of only evil continually, and became in their consciences worthless to God, who then had no choice but to swiftly destroy them. In both judgments, the dispensation of innocence and the dispensation of conscience, the judgment of God was final. What that means is that we can never come to God again in innocence or in conscience, in innocence because all the descendants of Adam and Eve are conceived and born in the consequences of their sin which is death, we are born mortals. And in conscience because our carnal minds are enmity to the Word of God. Romans 8:7 “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.” So that through Adam and Eve we’ve not only inherited corrupt bodies that lost their innocence, but we also inherited a corrupted mind that can never be brought under the jurisdiction of the Word of God. 1 Corinthians 2:16 “...But we have the mind of Christ.” Just in case some of you were wondering about our present estate of mind. Our sinfulness is blotted out by the blood of Jesus and our old mind set is replaced by the mind of Christ which is given to us at the time when we become born again. Romans 8:6 “For to be carnally minded is death (because of Adam and Eve’s disobedience to the Word of God), but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (because the words of Jesus are Spirit and they are life).” Now our next dispensation was not judged completely when they rebelled against God, for its final day of judgment has been reserved for the day of the dispensation of the fullness of the times, which is where this lesson is headed, but first let me enumerate the rest of the dispensations so that we can put them all into the proper context. Genesis 11:8-9 “So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel (means confusion), because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.” After the flood of Noah’s day, all the waters that were in and around the poles of the earth froze immediately, leaving the water levels of the oceans a lot lower than they are today, and causing a land bridge between the continents. It was God’s plan for humans after the flood to migrate to all the continents and fill the earth before the majority of the ice melted, which that happened during the days of Peleg when the land bridges that connected the continents were divided, buy submersion or by the melting away of the ice that connected some of the land masses. But mankind had other plans, they wanted to make a name for themselves, so they congregated together in rebellion against God’s command, and decided to build a tower that reached to the heavens, but God just simply confused their languages so that they could not communicate with one another, and so they scattered through the continents as was God’s original purpose, but God did not fully judge them at that time. Their dispensation was called human government, or what the book of Revelation calls, the kingdoms of this world, and they are very much still around today, for their dispensation has not yet been brought to a close. Today the European Union headquarters is a building that looks like an unfinished tower of Babel, for after all it will be the revived Roman empire whom prophecy foretells will give all its power to the antichrist to face Jesus during the final battle of Armageddon. Since mankind could not save themselves in innocence, or through their own consciences, or even when the power of human government did not bring about obedience to the commandments of God, that was when God decided to introduce His Promise. When the dispensation of promise is completed it will be known as the dispensation of the fullness of the times, for its at that time that God will bring to a close all the yet to be finally judged dispensations. Genesis 12:7 “Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, ‘To your descendants I will give this land.’ And there he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.” When God entered into a covenant with Abraham it was a two-fold covenant, a covenant that spans two dispensations. For out of that covenant comes the nation of Israel and their deliverer, Moses, through whom the dispensation of law was given. And the promise of salvation for the Gentile nations was given through the dispensation of grace by the Lord Himself in His Gospel. John 1:17 “For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 3:1-2 “For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles—if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you.” So here is a list of the seven dispensations: • The dispensation of innocence. • The dispensation of conscience. • The dispensation of human government. • The dispensation of promise. • The dispensation of law. • The dispensation of grace. That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ. And after all the above dispensations are finally completed, then all the believers that come out of every dispensation will be resurrected each in their time and ushered into the final dispensation of God’s rest, to rule and reign with Christ for one thousand years. The seventh is the dispensation of rest, or what will probably be called at that time the Kingdom Age. Now why are all these unfinished dispensations relevant to us today? Scripture teaches us that before God brings something or someone into the judgment, he restores them into the condition that they were in when they first rebelled, so that we know for a fact that the dispensation of the fullness of the times judgment cannot begin until all the yet to be judged dispensations appear together at the same time in history, since we also know that God is going to judge them all in the same period of time. The judgment and restoration of Peter gives us an example of how God will bring about the judgment of the dispensations. Peter got saved after he witnessed the miracle of the catch of fish in his net, which he lowered into the sea at the command Jesus, even after fishing all night and catching nothing. Peter rejected Jesus while hanging around a fire just trying to keep warm the night that Jesus was arreste. He was confronted by a girl who accused him of being one of Jesus’ disciples. John chapter 21 tells us that Jesus appeared to Peter again after he was fishing all night and did not catch anything, Jesus tells him to cast the net on the right side of the boat and a miracle happens again, the net is full of fish. Then when Peter drags the net to shore he finds that Jesus had kindled a fire of coals with fish and bread on it. So that all of the elements are in place to bring Peter back in his soul to the places of where he experienced his salvation and to the place where his rejection took place as well, then Jesus asks Peter a very simple question, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? Peter was not only judged there, but he was restored there as well. We witnessed in the twentieth century something that had never happened before in the history of mankind, the dispensations of human government, law and grace all came together for the first time in the same form in which they were after God had dispersed them. The Jews who were driven from the Holy Land after as a nation they rejected Jesus as their Messiah, were once again restored as a nation back to the land where they were driven from 1,900 years ago, while still rejecting Jesus as their Messiah as a nation, so that the dispensation of law which came through the nation of Israel and it must be judged in the nation of Israel was set in place awaiting their final judgment. The kingdoms of this world who have been scattered since the days when Nimrod was cut to pieces for his rebellion against God over 4,000 year ago, came together once again as one group in the middle of the twentieth century as the United Nations, where all their many languages can be translated instantly and a speaker can be understood by all the different nations no matter what language he speaks. It was also in the middle of the twentieth century that the apostolic revival began to take roots within the church once again. So that the three dispensations whose judgment it is yet to be finalized are presently in their prophetic places, Israel, the church, and the United Nations, all awaiting for the fulfillment of God’s promised conclusion to be meted out to them at their appointed time. Matthew 25:31-34 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.’” I believe that the last piece that has to fall into place before the final judgment begins is the United States government. Our constitution has been a great hurdle that those who longed for the revived Roman empire and the new world order have not been able to overcome until now. After years of brainwashing the American populace, through all kinds of mediums, into having an open disregard for the constitution and the values that it fosters, this is the closest that they have come to succeeding, for our present day government is in total disregard for constitutional law and it is not being held accountable for it. If America does not recover from this evil that has befallen it, and I do not see any of our leaders calling for a nation wide repentance, then our time here on this earth is pretty much over I believe. Inspired Teaching: John 6:29 “Jesus answered and said to them, ‘This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.’” Perhaps the greatest disagreement between the Bible and today’s science is the import and position of man within the creation. As we look out into the vastness of deep space, and see the enormity of the cosmos, and as we try to fathom the distances that we cannot comprehend, it is easy for us to see mankind as rather irrelevant within the immensity of the creation, but we are not the first to feel that way. Psalm 8:3-4 “When I consider Your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit (give attention to or care for) him?” If we consider humanity by its size, or percentage, in relation with the rest of creation it is easy to see how one could ask the question, What is man? We could also ask the question, what is gold? Or what are diamonds? Don’t we move tons and tons of ore from deep out of the ground in order to extract a miniscule percentage of that which is very valuable to society? After all we move mountains to extract piles, as long as the commodity that we are seeking pays the cost of the investment and produces a profit in return. Isaiah 48:17 “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go.” The answer to the question what is man in the eyes of God? Is that we are extremely rare, in relation with the vastness of the creation, and therefore very valuable to Him. Science has spent and continues to spend incredulous amounts of money and effort to find life, any kind of life, somewhere in the universe to prove that we are not as rare and therefore not as valuable to God as the Bible teaches that we are. Why is that? In order to answer that question, we need to understand the difference between profit/worth, and worthlessness. If science could prove somehow that man was not created after God’s image, then they can reason that there is nothing that it is owed to God by man, if we just evolved. If you find something extremely valuable by the curve side, can you assume that it has no owner and thereby take it for yourself? That is why, I believe, science devalues human life by the teaching of evolution, so that they can take credit and own it if you will, we made ourselves this smart they say, without God, and by doing that they devalue human life to the point that ruthless dictators, religious zealots, and roving gangs, can continue to murder and destroy the beauty of human life without the feeling of owing anything for their crimes. You cannot have deliverance until you renounce worthlessness. The world system promotes human worthlessness so that they can control the masses, a human who values his or her own life, will not give themselves over to be exploited by others as easily. Philemon 10-11 “I appeal to you for my son Onesimus (worthless), whom I have begotten while in my chains, who once was unprofitable (worthless) to you, but now is profitable to you and to me.” Onesimus was a runaway slave that once belonged to Philemon who fled to Rome where he was converted under Paul’s ministry. Remember our opening Scripture where it declared that the work of God is for us humans to believe in Jesus whom God sent? Paul declares that the once worthless slave, who owed his name to the fact that he was a bad investment for his owner, after receiving Christ as his savior has now become profitable not just to Paul who led him to the Lord, but to Philemon as well, for now he is not a slave anymore to him, but a brother in the Lord who is profitable to all. Here is how the Lord teaches us to be profitable. Isaiah 48:18 “Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness (value) like the waves of the sea.” What makes us so valuable to God is the price that Jesus paid to redeem us from our sins. God commands us to believe in Jesus for that is the only way that we can ever become profitable, to us, to others, and to God. That is why the ministry of deliverance is so effective, for it is a tool that God uses to remove the spirit of worthlessness from those who accept Jesus Christ as their savior and Lord, and that God also uses to fill them with a brand new purpose for their lives, which they now live in service to others as unto the Lord. 1 Samuel 1:16 “Do not consider your maidservant a wicked (daughter of Belial/worthlessness) woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now.” Eli, the high priest, thought that Hannah was drunk as she was pouring her heart before God because she was barren and thereby considered worthless by many, when Eli accused her of being drunk, she cried out what in our present-day vernacular would be, I am not worthless! In a society that did not considered woman too highly, and faced with the fact that she was barren and therefore worthless to her husband’s progeny, accused by the priest of being drunk in church, yet this courageous woman dared to believe in a God who values human life, and offered Him the seed of her womb that was empty in the natural, but that by faith was so full of life. You see my friends, all that God needs in the natural is an empty womb, or an empty heart, but only if they fill their emptiness with the Spirit of Truth and thereby their void is filled with faith in the One who always keeps His promises. Once she cried out, I am not worthless, the high priest had no choice but to bless her with the peace of God, that Jesus promises to all who believe. 1 Samuel 1:17 “Then Eli answered and said, ‘Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him.’” She went on to conceive and bore a son whom she lent to the Lord for life, she named him Samuel, and after that she had more children that the Lord blessed her with and that she raised herself. In her prayer of exaltation to the Lord she said this: 1 Samuel 2:1 “...My heart rejoices in the Lord; my horn (strength) is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation (deliverance).” Do you want to rid yourself once and for all of the spirit of worthlessness? You can do so right now, but there is the work of God that you will have to do: you are going to have to believe in Him whom He sent. Here are four prayers that you can pray. First you make Jesus your Savior, then you make Him Lord over your life, then you enter into a covenant with Him, a covenant to serve Him for the rest of your life. Then pray the prayer that breaks generational curses and get rid of worthlessness once and for all. All you need to bring is a broken spirit and a contrite heart, and God will fill you with His peace and will guide your steps forevermore. COVENANT OF SALVATION This prayer is to make Jesus your savior. Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Prayer (say this out loud): Father in heaven I confess Jesus as my Lord and savior and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I believe that now I am born again, in accordance to your word. Amen! COVENANT OF SURRENDER This prayer is to make Jesus Lord over your life. II Timothy 2:19-21 “Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’ and, ‘Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.’ In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.” Prayer (say this out loud): Lord Jesus I belong to you and I commit myself to turn away from wickedness. Lord search me to see if there be any wicked thing in me. Expose and remove everything in my life that will hinder you from total lordship over my life. Grant me the strength dear Lord Jesus to endure the purification fire. I pray that through your testing you will find in me, genuine faith. Amen! THE SERVANT’S COVENANT This is prayer is a petition to become a humble servant. John 12:26 “Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.” Prayer (say this out loud): Father in heaven I surrender all positions in life to you, in order to become Jesus’ faithful servant and to follow Him. This body is not my own, but it has been purchased with the blood of Jesus. I want to be in your perfect will Lord Jesus, let everything that I do bring glory and honor to you dear Lord. Teach me to be humble, train me to be your faithful servant. Amen! PRAYER TO REMOVE GENERATIONAL CURSES Prayer (say this out loud): Our Father who are in heaven, creator of heaven and earth, God the judge of all; in the name of Jesus your only Son I enter into Your heavenly court and publicly repent of all of my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness in the Name of Jesus. Apply dear Lord I pray, the atoning blood of Jesus over all the sins in my life and the sins in my ancestor’s life that resulted in a curse. I repent of all of our disobediences and rebellions committed against Your Word. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of perversion, lust, cheating, lying, adultery, fornication, mistreatment of others, uncleanness, filthiness, wantonness, lewdness, and every perverted thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of false religion, cults, reading of horoscopes, idolatry, witchcraft, divination, all occult involvements, seditions, heresies, sorcery, dissentions, and every demonic thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of indecision, compromise, hatred, contentions, envy, gossip, murder, hostility towards others, hostilities towards my self, ill will towards others, ill will towards my self, and every divisive thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of malfunction, failures, laziness, lack of responsibility, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, drunkenness, intoxication, addictions, dependencies, and every compromising thing that was connected to our fallen nature. According to 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Now that I’ve confessed all my sins, I ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing from all my unrighteousness and the unrighteousness passed to me through the iniquity of all my ancestor’s. Deliver me Lord and cleanse me by the power of the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I now take authority over the devil’s accusations against me. In accordance with the Word of God, I break and condemn any and every curse upon my life in the name of Jesus. I break all curses of poverty, lack, debt, destruction, sickness, death and vagabond. I break all curses on my marriage, family, children, and relationships. I break curses of rejection, pride, rebellion, lust, hurt, incest, rape, Ahab, Jezebel, fear, insanity, madness, and confusion. In the Name that is above every name, the Name of Jesus, I now break all curses affecting my finances, my mind, my sexual character, my emotions, my will, my intellect, and all my relationships. In the Name of Jesus I now break every hex, jinx, spell, and spoken curse over my life and my family’s life. I break every fetter, shackle, chain, cord, habit, and cycle that is the result of a curse. According to Galatians 3:13 I have been redeemed from the curse of the law by the sacrifice that Jesus offered on my behalf. Father in heaven I now exercise my faith in the blood that Jesus offered for my redemption, and I loose myself and my descendants from any and every curse. I claim forgiveness through the blood that Jesus offered for my sins and the sins of my fathers. All of my sins have been forgiven, so I now renounce all the works of Satan and their effect over my life, and my family’s lives, and I loose myself from every curse that came as a result of our disobedience and rebellion to the Word of God. I exercise my faith now in the Word of God: Romans 10:9-10, and I make confession with my mouth of the salvation, deliverance, healing and restoration that I believe in my heart is now mine, because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Therefore I confess that Abraham’s blessings are mine. I confess that I am blessed and not curse. I confess that I am the head and not the tail. I confess that I am above and not beneath. I confess that I am blessed coming in and going out. I confess that I am blessed by God, and what God has blessed cannot be curse. Synopsis: This teaching begins with Gabriel’s prophecy in Daniel 9:24, which sets forth the seventy weeks (490 years) decreed for Israel and Jerusalem, described as a kind of “Doomsday Clock.” While the prophecy focuses on the Jewish people, its implications extend to the entire world, culminating in either the conversion of sinners or their judgment. The crucifixion of Christ created a prophetic “variable,” pausing the clock until the final seven years—the Day of the Lord. God’s patience, as explained in 2 Peter 3:9-10, is rooted in His desire to save as many as possible before the expiration of grace. At the rapture, the dead in Christ will rise first, followed by the living believers, while those who rejected the gospel will face the seven-year tribulation. A pressing question arises: what happens to children, especially those below the age of accountability? For children of believers, 1 Corinthians 7:14 assures that they are sanctified and holy, and therefore will be taken in the rapture. For children of unbelievers, God’s righteousness and justice come into view. Scriptures such as Habakkuk 3:2 (“In wrath remember mercy”) and Revelation 7 & 14 reveal that God will seal and protect 144,000 innocent children, symbolic of all who are left behind but under His care. These sealed ones are described as pure, undefiled, and belonging to the Lord, serving as firstfruits that sanctify all children who remain. The teaching emphasizes that during the first half of the Day of the Lord (1,260 days), children will be spared torment, then taken to be with the Lord before the second half begins. In that latter period, no births, pregnancies, or conceptions will occur (Hosea 9:11, 16), ensuring no child is subjected to the reign of the Antichrist or forced to face the mark of the beast. Ultimately, this message underscores God’s extraordinary lengths to protect the innocent and His ongoing mercy extended to all through the gospel. While the present age of grace remains open, anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:9-10), ensuring not only their own salvation but also the sanctification of their children. The teaching closes by reminding believers that God’s mercy and righteousness extend to “children’s children” (Psalm 103:17), affirming both His justice and His tender care for the youngest among humanity. Inspired Teaching: In Daniel 9:24, God through His holy angel Gabriel reveals to Daniel the prophet what through man’s perspective can only be described as a Doomsday Clock. Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks (490 years total) are determined for your people (Israel) and for your holy city (Jerusalem), to finish transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.” (Parenthesis, italics and bold added by me for emphasis.) Although the revelation is directed to Daniel’s people, the Jewish nation and their holy city Jerusalem, it has tremendous implications for the rest of the world. In order for God to make an end of sins and to bring in everlasting righteousness, He would have to do things that affect the entire world. There are only two ways to end all sins; God either converts all the sinners and give them sinless everlasting new bodies so that they sin no more; or He gets rid of all the sinners who do not want to convert, by killing them all. That is what has to happen before you can have everlasting righteousness in the entire world at the end of the (490) four hundred and ninety years. This is why I refer to this as a Doomsday Clock. These 490 years would have concluded on or about the thirty-seventh year of our Lord, which teaches us not to set up dates even when the numbers match perfectly. God attaches variables to prophecy that only He can know. In the case of Daniel’s vision we can read the variable. Daniel 9:26 “And after the sixty-two weeks (total of 483 years) Messiah shall be cut off…” When we add all the numbers in verse twenty-five, they add up to 483 years, about the year thirty in our present calendar, which was when Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead on the third day; after introducing to the world the new covenant of grace. What happened? Why did God introduce this variable? We can learn two things from this variable. Number one, if God had brought His final judgment upon the world back then, most of the people of the world would have perished, for the majority of them had no way of knowing God’s plan of salvation or His purposes for ending life as we know it. Number two; we learned that it is going to take God seven years to carry out His final purpose for all humanity according to what God revealed to Daniel in His Doomsday Clock. 2 Peter 3:9-10 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise (to put an end to all sin), as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us (willing to wait for His plan of salvation to be proclaimed to all the nations, to save as many as possible), not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come…” Here we see why God opted to wait, and why His Son had to die for our sins. So, He could save as many as will accept God’s offer of grace. But God’s offer of grace has an expiration day, and when that day is reached, His Day of Judgment will come, which is referred to by Peter as the Day of the Lord, and then the end of all things will come without delay. The Day of the Lord will be a period of seven years. Each year will have 365 days. How do we know that? The first 483 years were regular years, so the last seven years will be the same length as the first 483, otherwise, if you use prophetic years (a 360 days year), you end up 30 days short of the 490 years total. When the Lord said 490 years are determined, He meant that all of them in their entirety must be fulfilled, for every single day of the Day of the Lord is numbered. Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Those who died in Christ will be raised from the dead before the Day of the Lord begins. Also, all the believers who are alive and remain will be raptured immediately after the resurrection. But those who ignored the Gospel will be left behind, and will have to live through the final hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Revelation 3:10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” What happens to all the children who are under the age of accountability before and during that terrible Day of the Lord? The good news for us believers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that all the children of believers who are under the age of accountability are sanctified, even if they only have one parent who is a believer—they are holy— therefore they will be raptured along with the rest of us believers. 1 Corinthians 7:14 “For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the (believing) wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the (believing) husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.” Paul is dealing with the dynamics of a married couple, one who is a believer and the other is not, and he is saying that the one who believes makes the unbelieving partner sanctified for the sake of their children—those who are under the age of accountability—so that during the rapture the children and the believing parent will be taken up, and the unbelieving parent will be left behind, for their sanctification is only for the sake of the children’s safety. Now then, what happens to the children who have no believing parents? The answer to this fundamental question can only be answered through God’s system of righteousness and justice which are the foundation of God’s throne. Psalm 97:2 “Clouds and darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.” This psalm is written within the context of the rapture. Psalm 97:6 “The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory.” Revelation 6:14-17 “Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” Even though the Day of the Lord is a Day of Wrath for all the inhabitants of the earth who ignored God’s offered of grace and are left behind, those innocent children who are not raptureed have no say in their parent’s rebellion to the Word of God, but still they will be left behind to endure the Great Day of the Lord. How is God’s righteousness and justice metered out to these children in the time of God’s wrath? Habakkuk 3:2 “…In wrath remember mercy.” Revelation 9:4 “They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.” We see in Revelation chapter seven that before the Day of the Lord is allowed to begin, the resurrection and rapture must take place; for God will spare those who have accepted His offer of grace from wrath. But what about the innocent children who have no parental protection? God will seal 144 thousand boys, (12,000) twelve thousand from each tribe of Israel who will represent all the innocent children that are left behind on the earth after the rapture. All the innocent children will be sealed—protected—from the calamity that follows. After the fifth trumpet sounds, all the demons of hell are released on the earth to torment all those who ignore and reject God’s offer of grace; to show them that hell and all its torments are real. But it would be unfair to subject innocent children to these torments; those who have not reached the age of accountability and are there by no fault of their own. Look carefully at our next Scripture’s description of who are those who have been sealed! Revelation 14:4 “These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.” Firstfruits means: to be the primary part of a larger offering. James 1:18 “Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.” The apostles and the early Christians were a kind of firstfruits offering for those of us who have been saved centuries after their sacrifices were accepted by God. In the same manner the one hundred and forty-four thousand that will be offered as a firstfruits offering, will sanctify and protect all the innocent children that will be left behind in the world after the rapture. Here is something new. These one hundred and forty-four thousand that will be sealed will be innocent children, those who have not reached the age of accountability. Therefore, in their mouths was found no deceit, for they are without fault before God (Rev. 14:5) Why does God select only Jewish boys from the twelve tribes of Israel to be the core of this firstfruits offering? When the age of grace comes to a close, not one single nation out of all the nations of the world would have accepted God’s offer of grace. There will be people raptured from all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, but not one single complete nation will acknowledge Jesus as their Savior and King! If any person or any nation rejects God’s grace, ultimately they will fall under the heavy weight of God’s law, no exceptions. We see that for the first 1,260 days of the Day of the Lord, the entire world, all the peoples and all the nations will be judged according to God’s law; only the children who are under the age of accountability will be spared the torment. They will have to die, for under God’s law the soul that sins must die, and it is appointed unto men to die once and then face God’s judgment. Here we see what the final result of God’s judgment is for all these innocent children who are represented by these one hundred and forty-four thousand who stand before the Lord, to be redeemed. Revelation 14:1 “Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.” Glory to God! The seal that God places on all these innocent children’s foreheads is His Holy Name: THEY BELONG TO ME says the Lord! The one hundred and forty four thousand represent all the children left in the world after the rapture. Psalm 127:3 “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward.” At the end of the first half of the Day of the Lord, one thousand two hundred and sixty days, all the innocent children of the world will be removed from the world to be with the Lord forever and ever. There will be five days in between the 1260 and the 1290 for a total of 2555 days. At the beginning and during the second half, which will be one thousand two hundred and ninety days, there will be no children left in the world. It is during this time that God will judge the nations of the world; the antichrist will be empowered to rule over them and demand that all humans receive his mark or die. It would be unfair to have children who have not reached the age of accountability to be present during this time, since someone else would have to choose their destiny for them. Hosea 9:11 “As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird—No birth, no pregnancy, and no conception!” God will not allow births, pregnancies or conceptions during the last half of His Day of Wrath to protect the innocent from what will be the most horrendous time in human history. Even the women who have not repented, who are pregnant at the end of the first half of God’s Day of Wrath will have their babies removed from their womb to spare their babies from the final judgment of the second half of the Day of Wrath. Hosea 9:16 “Ephraim is stricken, their root is dried up; They shall bear no fruit. Yes, were they to bear children, I would kill the darlings of their womb.” Why would the God of righteousness and justice go through such extreme measures unless to protect the innocent babies from a fate far worse than anyone can imagine. Note: If you miss the rapture of the church, the only way to get saved after that is to die a righteous death in order to enter heaven and be with Jesus. Hosea 10:8 “Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed. The thorn and thistle shall grow on their altars; They shall say to the mountains, ‘Cover us!’ and to the hills, ‘Fall on us!’” The above Scripture in Hosea is a direct quote from Revelation 6:16-17, after the sixth seal is opened and the Day of the Lord is about to begin. Revelation 6:16-17 “And said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” It is amazing to see the great lengths to which God goes to show His mercy to all His creatures. For almost two thousand years now the mercy of God—His desire to spare His human creation from the consequences of their sin—has been and continues to be proclaimed to all the nations through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Listen to this, it is very important: While we are in this age of Grace, ANYONE who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved; and if you have children under the age of accountability they will be sanctified by your salvation and made holy to the Lord. As a parent there is no greater satisfaction than knowing that your little one’s eternal destiny is secured. But know this: that with the same intensity that God loves our children, He loves us too, for we once were His little children ourselves, and we can still be if only we would call Him Abba our precious heavenly Father. Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. This message is called God's Covenant and Restoration. Amen. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your covenant, your promises. You are perfect. You keep everything firm and strong. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Father God, that you are in control and you are doing the right thing, Father God. Lord, may we line up with you and um be restored that you promised us, Father God, in the glorious name of Jesus. Thank you, Father God. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture here. This is God's covenant and restoration. Psalm 89:28. My mercy I will keep for him forever and my covenant shall stand firm with him. What we're going to do in this message is something a little bit different. So I'm going to be teaching on God's covenant and his promises and how firm they are and faithful. This is Psalm 89 has to do with King David and what he does with his heritage, his lineage. And so what we're going to do is we're going to apply that to our lives because scripture does apply to our lives. And the way we're going to do that is through prayer. So I'm probably going to teach here for maybe about 25 to 30 minutes and then we're going to say this prayer together. It is uh an intercessor's prayer, but it does help with us first because it helps us line up and then we can intercede for those around us. Amen. So that's what we're going to do. This is a message that I believe is going to change you and I hope that you apply it to your life. So we're going to focus a lot in Psalm 89. So let's start here in verse 19 and 20. Then you spoke in a vision to your holy one and said, "I have given help to one who is mighty. I have exalted one chosen from the people. I have found my I have found my servant David with my holy oil. I have anointed him." David became king of Israel and he had a heart uh he was the apple of God's eyes and yes he had a a heart for the Lord and the Lord chose him to be king. So in order for him to be king he had to become anointed with oil. So let's go read what happened for him to get anointed with oil. 1st Samuel 16:1 Now the Lord said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill your horn with oil and go. I am sending you to Jesse the Bethleamite, for I provided myself a king among his sons. Then, and then jump down to verse 13. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. And the spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Rama. So what happened here? What is happening here is God is calling David to be king over his people. So this is a calling on David's life. Each of us have callings in our lives. Um we could be in children's ministry. We could be an usher at a church service. We could handle um the administration part of a church. We're all in ministry one way or another. Whether you even go to a regular 8-to-five job that's non-church related, your interaction with people, your smiles, your your tone, behavior, your attitude, all of that plays a role into how you share your testimony because people can sense whether you are a believer or not. So you go into ministry. Well, how does as you see, David is called here and the first thing that he does is he gets anointed with oil. So I am speaking to believers here today in this message. If you are not a believer, repent, call on God and become a believer. And I highly recommend it because it changes you. And this message will change even the we can take the the believer that barely goes to church once a year to the believer who goes to church regularly and is involved heavily in the church. This message is going to strengthen your relationship with the Lord because it's not a religion. We are not a part of a religion. We are part of a relationship with God. And that relationship is about to get more then you're going to really really be blessed by this message. So in order to start first, you know, you have to repent and you have to call on Jesus. Get his mercy. Say, "Father God, I'm sorry I messed up." Once we acknowledge that we're we messed up, for lack of a better way of saying it at the moment, I can't think of another way to say it. But once we realize that and we humble ourselves and we ask God to forgive us, the next thing is to get water baptized. And after you get water baptized, the spirit of the Lord comes upon you. Well, in this case, David, the Old Testament way was the anointing oil allowed the spirit of the Lord to come upon him. So now, if you want to move into a calling that you believe the Lord is calling you to, one, you can go to the elders. They can anoint you with oil and pray over you. And the elders at the church, you can go there. Or you can even in your own personal relationship with the Lord, in your own secret place with the Lord, get your anointing oil out. You can buy it online, pray over it, anoint it, and then anoint yourself and say, "This is my calling that I believe the Lord has for me." And you set things in motion spiritually when you do this. So this is what happened to David. David became king of Israel. And it started with the anointing of the Lord. And from this day forward, the spirit of the Lord is upon him. Now, the reason I showed you Samuel because I wanted you to see the physical, the prophet Samuel actually came and put oil on David. So, this is why we put oil on ourselves and you get covered with the anointing oil. It allows the spirit of the Lord to come in and work on you. So, that's the first thing we got to do. So, we establish this foundation. So, now let's continue in Psalm 89 because I want you to see something. here is really really interesting. With whom my hand shall be established also my arm shall strengthen him. Let's pause there for just a moment. God, his hand is the one that's establishing David. His hand is the one that establishes you and I in ministry. Do you get that? Look at what else he says. He says his arm shall strengthen him. meaning we can lean on his arm and he'll hold us up because there are gonna be times when you're in ministry where it is very hard and is strong. It's like your opposition is just coming against you and sometimes you just can't even stand. If you go read the Psalms and read David, you will find there are times where he just had to get down on his knees and say, "Lord," and he cried out to the Lord. Well, God's arm was holding him up the whole time and so was his hand because his hand had established him. So, this is firm. So, once you get into ministry and you go forth at the after the anointing oil or the water baptism, whatever you end up going into ministry with, know this. God's hand established you and his arm is holding you up. You need to believe this. Look what else he says. And look what else he's done. If you go read King David's life, 1 Samuel, beginning of 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles, beginning of 2 Chronicles, you will see God moving in David's life and you can see the whole changes that take place in his life because God had established him. But look at the second part of this or verse 22. The enemy shall not outwit him nor the son of wickedness afflict him. So when you go read about David and you read about all the oppositions he faced, they never outwitted him. David knew exactly what to do at all times because God gave him the wisdom, God's wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for David to handle the situation. So when you go into ministry, you are going to outwit the enemy. You're going to be thinking outside the box and doing things that God's going to tell you, the Holy Spirit's going to tell you. You're going to be thinking, "Wow, this is awesome." Because he's given this to you. And did you see wickedness will not afflict him? You will not be afflicted by the enemy. What does the enemy do to afflict someone? Takes your way your finances. God provides. Go uh look at Elijah. Even the crows came and fed him because he needed to eat. And God's like, "I'm going to give you food." You see, he was not afflicted because God still provided for him. So, he takes your finances away. Guess what? God still provides. He tells people, "Hey, you need to go get a bag of groceries for that person over there." And I promise you, God always provides. So, he keeps you from getting afflicted. What about sickness? The sickness will not touch you. Was King David ever sick? I don't read that in scriptures and I've not read that and I've read all through that. So, you shouldn't be sick when you're in ministry. Watch how the Lord shows us where we can go into this new ministry, whatever it may be, whether children's church, teaching behind a pulpit, singing worship songs, you should never get sick. Never. Why? Because you have taken his calling in your life and you move forward in your relationship with the Lord. David had a relationship and God called him to be king. You have a relationship God calls you to be. You fill in the blank. And once you fill that in and you move forward in that, it begins you begin to have a relationship with God. And I've been teaching on relationship with God for a long time now. Let's continue on in verse 23. Look at what else God does. I will beat down his foes before his face and plague those who hate him. So now people hate you. They hate you for being successful, for looking so good and being to them. They get jealous and envious of anyone who has a beautiful calling on the your life from God. They get jealous of that. And what happens is God, look what he says here, beats down his foes. Because see, when they get jealous, they say things they shouldn't say. And when they say them, they curse you. But God says, "Nope, I'm going to In other words, those curses are going to come back beat down. They're going to feel the crushing pressure of God, not Satan, of God. Because now you're messing with God's anointed. Never, never mess with God's anointed. If you see somebody who is beautiful, who is supporting Israel, Jerusalem, who is giving God the glory and all that they do, and they acknowledge God and everything, that's somebody who's anointed by God, do not mess with them. Do not curse them. Don't say anything bad about them. God's coverings on them and he will beat you down. And he says it right here in scriptures. Look at that. I will beat down. That's God talking. Because you become a foe or an enemy against his anointed. Now, let's continue on and plague those who hate him. Guess who gets sick? If you've been sick, I promise you it has to do with some sort of sin, some sort of unforgiveness, something you said against God's anointed somewhere along the road of life. You may not have actually meant it. You may not even remember it, but God does. And hence, you get sick. So keep that in mind. If you're getting sick, you should you it should be telltale signs to you. This isn't a bad thing. You know, I got spanked when I was growing up. It's not a bad thing to spank your children. Why? Because they get to learn respect. And it goes to show how much my parents loved me to keep me from going around and doing things I shouldn't have been doing. They keep me safe. And that that action of discipline, thy rod, thy staff, they comfort me. David said this of God. He was comforted when he was disciplined. I am comforted when I am disciplined. So if I get sick, h that's a reminder. Okay, I know in the back of my mind I need to do what? Time to repent. Time to start talking to God again. Time to get back in. Because we're humans. We are flesh. And what do we do? We forget. We we separate ourselves. We get caught up in the world, the busyiness of the world. Oh, and it it gets frustrating. I understand that. But we got to remember, we got to put that effort forward. Look at verse 24. This is now God saying, "But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him, and in my name his horn shall be exalted." You see, when God exalts somebody, he's doing it through himself. God is saying, "Okay, Jesus, you are my son, my beloved. I love you." and he tells the people around him, "Listen to him." And he he set up the hierarchy. So he lifts up his son Jesus. Well, he lifts up David and he's saying, "I'm doing it through my own name because he honored David for David honoring him." God is a God of honor. Oh, so God will honor you. what you do in secret behind the scenes, having that relationship with God, he exposes out in the open and he honors you. David was very honored in his walk even though he killed someone on purpose. David was a murderer. Yeah. We It's time to get our lives set up with God because when we're in this relationship with him and we've taken this step, Yeah. this is what we do. We get blessed by him. He is protecting us. He's holding us up. Look at verse 25. Also, I will set his hand over the sea and his right hand over the rivers. What does that mean? Well, if you go look at the ocean, can you see underwater? No. The ocean, especially in the deeper parts, it's very dark down there. In fact, that is Satan's domain. That's where he reigns. He sits on the waters in the world over the oceans and the rivers. But look what God says he does to the people that choose to come in and be his anointed. Watch this. Watch this. He says, "I will set his hand over the sea and his right hand over the rivers. You have dominion over Satan and the demons." Again, you should never be sick. You should be the one casting out demons. You should be the one ministering to people because that is your calling and this is where God is taking us and we need more people doing things like this. Look what else. Now he shall cry to me. Now he's saying David's going to cry to me. You are my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. You know, when I'm in intercessory prayer here in my secret place in this room, I'm always Lord God, you are my God, my King, my Lord, and my Savior. You belong to me and I belong to you. He is my rock and my salvation. He is the son of God. He is my Lord and Savior. I declare the name of Jesus over everything about me because I cry to him because this is my calling to teach and preach the word of God to intercede in prayer. These are the callings I have in my life. I've been anointed. And because I've been anointed with the oil and I've been approved by God to do this, I push in and begin to have this relationship with God and I cry to him. I let him know what's going on. I say God, I say Jesus, the name of Jesus shall save. Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13, Joel 2:32. Look at verse 27. And also I will make him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. David really, really got blessed here. Jesus is king and will be king after he comes back and returns. But he came first as priest, not as king. But he came through the lineage of David. But David is his the first king. Even though King Saul was there, God chose David. And this is his firstborn. Guess what? We are adopted and grafted into the lineage of David. Into the lineage of Jesus. Jesus comes from David. We are part of being the firstborn. We are part of being the one who has been called. We just like the disciples, just like the apostles in the old church, how they were ministering people, casting out demons, healing people. We should be doing the same thing today. And you know what? Because of this teaching and the things that are going on, the Lord's getting everything ready for this part. So get ready because when we say this prayer here at the end, this is preparing us for his return and the revival that is coming. Amen. Verse 28. My mercy I will keep for him forever and my covenant shall stand firm with him. This is that was our opening scripture. I want you to see something here. My mercy, let's read that again. My mercy I will keep for him forever. You know, God is so full of mercy and loving kindness and he is telling David's line, I will always have mercy on you and every one of us who are grafted and adopted in there is nothing bad that you can do that God cannot forgive. He will have his mercy for you forever. Oh, that's powerful. Powerful. and my covenant shall stand firm with him. God does not waver once he speaks. His word is true. And we're going to see that in a moment here how it stays. He says his seed also I will make to endure forever and his throne as the days of heaven. Jesus is going to be king and it's going to be eternity. We're going to be in heaven in eternity forever with God and with Jesus. This is awesome. God is not removing the covenant. Now watch. Let's go here. Now, now we're going to start to see something here. God is giving a rule to this. And it's a rule. This rule applies to us as well. Says in verse 30, if his sons, okay, we're adopted and grafted in because we believe the I'm talking to believers now. So think of this, believers. If his sons forsake my law, or if believers forsake my law, and do not walk in my judgment, if they break my statutes and do not keep my commandments, then I will punish their transgression with the rod and their iniquity with stripes. Now, I want you to see something here is awesome. You notice he said he said he'll do it with the rod. That's discipline. Meaning, you're the believer. You're in covenant with God. You drifted away. I'm going to use the rod and bring you back. He's telling you straight up, if you're not going to keep my commandments, what is his commandments? To love with all your heart, soul, and mind. Love God or love your neighbor as you do yourself. So when you drift, he says, I will punish your transgression with the rod. Look at this. And your iniquity or their iniquity with stripes. Who took the stripes for us? So he's saying, look at this. This is awesome. He's saying, "I'm going to send Jesus and he's going to take the iniquity when you drift away and he's going to take it with his stripes." Meaning, you were healed by his stripes. So, even though you should be punished with iniquity, guess what? God sent his son Jesus to take it. So, when you're in covenant and you are part of God's anointing, you are never sick because Jesus handled it, took care of it. You just got to come and say, "Jesus, you are the son of God and I messed up." That's it. Oh, that's so powerful. Do you see how God is saying this about his covenant? All the kings of Israel, all they had to do was repent and come back and they were well established. God's promise would be firm. Let's continue because there is but right here there is a nevertheless in verse 33. Nevertheless, my loving kindness I will not utterly take for him. You see, we know what happens with the kings. We know what happens with Israel. Go read all of their first Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles. Go read all the prophets and they will be sharing with you what the kings are doing, how evil these kings are, many of them are. And that they were dispersed to the world and was no longer considered a nation. But God restores. His covenant stands. And the nation of Israel came back in 1948. If he can restore the nation of Israel, he can restore you. Do you see why I'm teaching this message? Oh, wait till we get to the prayer. We start restoring ourselves. But he says, "Nevertheless, my loving kindness, I will not utterly take from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail." You see, this is all about God and his faithfulness. He's got faith in Israel. He's got faith in us. So when I'm casting out demons or I'm dealing with some sort of sickness because he's having to discipline me and bring me back. Guess what? It is his faithfulness. I don't my faith may not be that big to take it over and overcome it and walk out of it. You know when he say uh pick up your mat and walk and be healed. You know, the disciples said that, Jesus said that. They got up and it and even Jesus says, "Your faith has made you whole, made you healed." Guess what though? God is saying, "My faithfulness will do this because you've already been in covenant." And he is now trying to bring you back. Oh, this is so good. Look at this. Verse 34. My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out on my lips. So you see, he knows already the kingdom is going to fail, but he says, "No, I'm not reversing my words. My words still stand." Then he says, "Once I've sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David." So he's telling David what's going to happen, what's going on. And he says to David, "His seat shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me, it shall be established forever like the moon, even like the faithful witness in the sky. who it will be on the throne forever that we get to worship is Jesus the son of God. Oh hallelujah. Hallelujah. So now you're beginning to see what the Lord is doing. Now look at though because see in covenant with God and if we forget or we get mad because we've been made in his image and God has gotten mad, we can get mad too. So, if we're lacking self-control and we're lacking the holiness of the Holy Spirit, well, look at what he says here in verse 38. But you have cast off and abhored. You have been furious with your anointed. God gets mad with his anointed. And until you repent, he is mad. And look at this. He's cast you off and he abhores you. You see, he's got his loving kindness. He's got his mercy there. He's telling you, "Come on. I'm sending you iniquity after iniquity. I'm sending you the rod. I'm disciplining you, but you're not listening. You're not repenting. You're not returning." And then what happens? The church dies. The spirit is not there. There's sickness and diseases. People are dying in the church when they should not be dying. God is saying, "I'm telling you, I'm furious with you. You are my anointed." It's not just David. It's us who are grafted in. We're his anointed and he's mad. Look at verse 39. But okay, so look at this. You, this is God talking, have renounced the covenant of your servant. He took the covenant back. Did you see that? Watch. You have profaneed his crown by casting it into the ground. Basically, God took your crown off and he slammed it to the ground because you are not repenting, renouncing yourself. You are not turning back and getting into the relationship with God. He is doing this to you. You see, most of our time, we don't really deal with the devil. We deal with ourselves for cursing ourselves and not speaking the blessings. And then we live, we deal with God and his curses. You see, when you're an anointed person, you've been going to church and you've been with God and you've been in that personal relationship with him. You should be in his standing and fully healed completely. This is your call. This is a promise, a covenant he's given to you. But when you break the covenant because you got him furious and he abhores you, it takes See, you have to separate yourself from the world. You've got to get back in with the Holy Spirit. You got to start again. Start fresh and again. Look at verse 40. You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin. You're no longer protected. Now you know why you're getting sick. Now you know why you do not have financial blessings in your life. It's like a hole in your pocket. The money keeps flowing through. God's done this. It's not the devil. God's done this. He did this because you're not aligning yourself with his covenant. We're going to do that here very shortly. Trying to keep an eye on the time here. And then look at he says, "All who pass by the way plunder him. He is reproached to his neighbors." So going to plunder you. So that's why I said it's like a hole in your pocket. People coming by are going to be taking money from you and you're wondering why you have no money. Well, that's why. Look at this. You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries. Now he's promoting the enemy saying, "Go for it. You you got my blessings to go after him or her because you're not doing what he asked you. You're not honoring his commandments. Love him with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul. These are what he's calling you to do. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. If you're holding on to unforgiveness, bitterness, envy, jealousy, any of this kind of stuff, you are not in his commandments. And you now are being blessed. The adversaries are being blessed to come after you. Oh, and take what you have. They'll take your home. They'll take your money. Why do we have so many homeless people? They don't forgive. They don't let go. They don't come back to God. They don't repent. They don't renounce. We need more renouncing here in the church and in the congregation and in the people's hearts and minds. We got to teach this. Look at this. You made all his enemies rejoice. You know what? When 911 happened, the towers came down. Who was rejoicing? Those in the Middle East. The enemy. They were very happy. Happy as a clam. God blessed that. God allowed it to happen because the nation now he was warning the nation here is I'm letting you know this is what's happening. I'm getting the rod now but you're not coming back to me. So he sends the adversary to come after you. This is now why the nation is in the condition it's in. But the church doesn't need to be this way. Even though we're under America's covering, we're under God's covenant covering covenant. And that's what we should be standing with and repenting and renouncing. Uh also, okay, verse 43. You have also turned back the edge of a sword and have not sustained him in battle. This is what I'm talking about. This is why 911 happened. Look at this. You have made his glory cease and cast his throne to the ground. The days of his youth, you have shortened. You have covered him with shame. That's the condition of America right now. So you can apply this to America. You can apply this to the church. You can apply anyone who's been with God but got taught a false teaching, got misled, and you're just not going back to God and repenting. This is what happens to you. This is why it happens. A lot of people don't understand why things like this happen. The scriptures just told us. Look at 2 Corinthians 4:1 and2. Therefore, since we had this ministry or calling, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart, but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. And there Paul sums it up what we've been teaching on. This is very, very powerful. We want to get back. So, to get back now to our covenant with God, we need to repent and renounce. So, we're going to say this prayer. I'm This is a prayer. I've got several screens here. We're just going to go through them and say them together. I'm going to say them slow. If you need to pause the video because you might be struggling saying something, and that's possible, but say the prayers, say them out loud. If you need to say them again, you say them again. And you come before the Lord and you humble yourself before the Lord. And I promise you, you saw his hand establishes you. You see his arm holding you. You see him keep the enemy away from you. You see how iniquity is dealt with. You will have all that back when you do this. And then you can also now minister in your ministry appropriately and effectively. Amen. Dear Lord, I pray the atoning blood of Jesus over all the sins in my life and the sins in my ancestors lives life that resulted in a curse. I repent of all of our disobediences and rebellions committed against your word. I now repent and re and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestors life such as the sins of perversion, lust, cheating, lying, adultery, fornication, mistreatment of others, uncleanness, filthiness, wantonness, lwdness, and every perverted thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I have that on there. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestors life such as the sins of indecision, compromise, hatred, contentions, envy, gossip, murder, hostility towards others, hostilities towards myself, ill will towards others, ill will towards myself and every divisive thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins of my life and my ancestors life such as the sins of malfunction, failures, laziness, lack of responsibility, jealousies, outburst of wrath, drunkenness, intoxication, addictions, dependencies and every compromising thing that was connected to our fallen nature. According to one John 1:9, if we confess our sins, continue to say this with me, please. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Now that I confessed all my sins, I ask for your forgiveness and cleansing from all my unrighteousness and the unrighteousness passed to me through the iniquity of all my ancestors. Deliver me, Lord, and cleanse me by the power of the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I now take authority over the devil's accusations against me in accordance with the word of God. I break and condemn any and every curse upon my life in the name of Jesus. I break all curses of poverty, lack, debt, destruction, sickness, death, and vagabond. I break all curses on my marriage, family, children, and relationships. I break curses of rejection, pride, rebellion, lust, hurt, incest, rape. Ahab, Jezebel, fear, insanity, madness, and confusion. The name that is above every name. The name of Jesus. I now break all curses affecting my finances, my mind, my sexual character, my emotions, my will, my intellect, and all my relationships. In the name of Jesus, I now break every hex, jinx, spell, and spoken curse over my life and my family's life. I break every feeder, shackle, chain, cord, habit, and cycle that is the result of a curse. According to Galatians 3:13, continue to say this with me, please. I have been redeemed from the curse of the law by the sacrifice that Jesus offered in my behalf. Father in heaven, I now exercise my faith in the blood that Jesus offered for my redemption and I loose myself and my descendants from any and every curse. I claim forgiveness through the blood that Jesus offered for my sins and the sins of my fathers. All of my sins have been forgiven. So I now renounce all the works of Satan and their effect over my life and my family's lives. And I loose myself from every curse that As a result of our disobedience and rebellion to the word of God, I exercise my faith now in the word of God. Romans 10:9 and 10. And I make confession with my mouth that the salvation, deliverance, healing, and restoration that I believe in my heart is now mine because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Therefore, I confess that Abraham's blessings are mine. I confess that I am blessed and not cursed. I confess that I am the head and not the tail. I confess that I am above and not beneath. I confess that I am blessed coming in and going out. I confess that I am blessed by God and what God has blessed cannot be cursed in the name of Jesus and by the power of his shed blood. I now command spirits of rejection, hurt, bitterness, unforgiveness, bondage, torment, death, destruction, suicide, fear, lust, perversion, mind control, witchcraft, poverty, lack, debt, confusion, doublemindedness, sickness, infirmity, pain, divorce, separation, strife, contention, depression, sadness, loneliness, self-pity, self-destruction, self-rejection, anger, rage, wrath, anguish, vagabon, abuse, addiction, insanity, and the rest to come out now in the name of Jesus, my deliverer, and be forever gone because all of your rights to torment me and my family has now been removed. This message is called repairing the disowned statement. Let's open up an order of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the anointing of your Holy Spirit. We thank you for your wisdom, your knowledge, your understanding. We thank you for teaching us the deep meat of your word and satisfying our spirit and soul with your word. Father God, let us learn what love and our obligation and duty is, Father God. And let us restore our lives unto you after possibly denying you in the past. Thank you, Father God, for your healing and your restoration in our lives in the glorious name of Jesus. Thank you, Father God. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture. This is called repairing the disowned statement. We're going to start here in Matthew 26. We're going to look at verses 34 and 75. Jesus said unto him, he's talking to Peter, verily I say unto thee that this night before the cockcrow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And that word deny there means deny utterly or disown. So he's going to disown Jesus three times. And then later on in verse 75, Peter and Peter remembered the word of Jesus which said unto him before the [ __ ] crow, "Thou shalt deny me thrice." And he went out and wept. And that word wept there means to whail out loud. And he did it bitterly. And it was a violent bitterness. He He was broken. He was ready to die for Christ, ready to lay down his life. And he couldn't figure out, you know, here he is in the courtyard as they're interrogating Jesus. He's standing in front of a a fire pit of some sort. And they're accusing him as being one of the ones who hung out with Jesus. And he denied it as Jesus prophesied he would. And yet he had told Jesus, "Nah, it may everybody else is going to run away, but I'm not." Peter is one of the most interesting disciples you will ever watch and get to know. He fascinates me. Why? Because of his maturity. God Jesus came and got him as a fisherman. And then he showed him what he was going to do. And Peter finally believed it. It finally happened and he learned. But here's where it started. It started with his brokenness. He became broken here. He got to relate with Jesus. He saw him. He walked with him. He lived with him. He got to spend all that quality time. And the moment that Jesus is going to move into his anointing power, the ministry, get crucified for you and me because that was his obligation, his duty. I'm going to show you that here in a moment. When he was about to do that, everybody scattered and ran from him and left him alone, including Peter. And he was hurt by that. He was hurted himself. He was um he was messed up. Hurt by it. Let's look at this a little further in John 13. We're going to look at 36-38. Simon Peter said unto the Lord, "Whi goest thou?" Jesus answered him, "Whether I go, thou canst not follow me." Now, but thou shalt follow me afterwards. Listen that very carefully. We know in hindsight that Peter died on the cross, crucified upside down. He finally met his death. And Jesus is saying, "I got to go get crucified. You can't follow me now, but you will later." So, he's prophesying to Peter. Peter's listening and hearing this. Watch this. Peter said to him,"Lord, why can I why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake." He's going to give up the spirit, the ghost. Peter was ready and willing to die. And Jesus said, "Not yet." Look what Jesus said. Jesus answered him, "Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake?" Look at what that word sake there over me instead. You see, Jesus had an agenda. He knew exactly what he was going to do. And Peter is trying to disrupt what the man of God, the son of God, is going to do. Who are we to disrupt what God wants to do? But here Peter is saying, "I'm going to lay down my life for you. You can say all this junk about everybody running away, but I'm not going to do it." And yet, look what happened. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, the [ __ ] shall not crow till thou hast denied me thrice. And look at that word deny is utterly disowned. So Peter hears this. Of course, he forgets about it. And we saw in our opening scripture that he remembered much later on and he became broken. He he realized for the first time how much of a human being he was. This is where God can start to work in us. This is why I like Peter because when you see the maturity level, you see what he does on the day of Pentecost, you see what he writes in first Peter and second Peter, and you just go, "Who is this guy?" Because it can't be the same Peter that walked with Jesus who tried to stop Jesus from going or doing whatever or I'm going to go do it with you. One of the two. So, I want you to see how this plays out for him and where we're going with this. So now John chapter 21, we're going to get into verses 15-1 17 just so I can put it in the placement here. Jesus already was crucified. Jesus already rose from the dead. He's been around now. He's been walking 40 days here on the earth or sometime in that time period. He's ding with his disciples in his new form with the holes and all that stuff. And he's talking to Peter. So here he says, "So when they had died, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon son of Jonas, lovest lovest thou me more than these?" He saith unto him, "Yeah, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee." He saith unto him, "Feed my lambs." I want you to see what the the two different loves here. This very, very powerful. Watch this. That word lovest that Jesus is saying to him is a social or moral sense duty obligation. It's the G35 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary. So it's a moral obligation. You see Jesus is asking Peter to love me with your duty and obligation. You get that? But Peter answers something different. Watch what he says. I love but Look at he says this is to be a friend fond of. I'm affectionate toward you. Personal attachment. This is G5368 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary. Look at that. To be a friend fond of affectionate personal attachment. So instead of doing the duty and obligation which remember that was the whole crux of the matter here. Jes Jesus had to go die on the cross and he told Peter you can't go where I'm going yet. And Peter says I'm ready to lay down my life. I'm ready to do my duty and obligation. And Jesus is saying that's not your duty and obligation yet. Later, that will be later. I need you to fulfill your duty and obligation, which is different than mine. You see, Jesus had to go to the cross to redeem us from our sin. Peter was going to be a fisherman of men, and he needed to fulfill that duty and obligation. He hadn't done that yet. And remember, he was told he was going to do this. I'm going to show you the scripture here in a moment, but look at that. So Jesus is asking him, do you have the obligation? And remember this is after Christ was crucified. There's something here. Let's go to verse 16. Now he says to him, he say to him again the second time, Simon son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Look at that. that lovest is that G35 social and moral sense duty obligation Peter he he saith unto him yeah Lord thou knowest that I love look at the love he said here to be a friend I'm fond of affectionate personal attachment to you thee he saith unto him feed my sheep that's twice how many times did Peter deny Jesus disown Jesus three times so here Jesus is asking Peter and he's restoring him by asking him to make his commitment now to obligation and duty. Now watch what happens for the third time. This is verse 17. He saith unto him the third time, Simon son of Jonas, Jonas loveth. Now look at this love to be a friend fond of affectionate personal attachment. Do you attach yourself personally to me, Peter? And this is what Peter had been saying the whole time. So, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, lovest thou me? Which that love is to now be a friend. But so technically, it's the first time he's saying it this way. But look at what happens. And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things. Thou knowest that I love. And this he reiterated a third time to be the friend of I'm be fond of you. I'm affectionate toward you. I have a personal attachment to you. And Jesus said unto him, feed my sheep. So now let's look at the dynamics here. Notice what did Peter do when he denied Jesus three time? He spoke it into existence. Now when you speak things into existence, you bind things on the earth which then is bound in heaven. You loose things on the earth which is loosed in heaven. When he disowned Jesus, he said, "I am I'm denying. I have nothing to do with him." This is a very powerful thing. You have to be very careful. So what Jesus needs to do now is he needs to restore Peter back to being part of him so that when he restores him he can go fulfill his obligation do the love that Jesus asked him to do. So he has to ask him three times. So he's asking him are you going to fulfill your obligation? Because see Jesus or excuse me, Peter said he was going to do that, but he got scattered and he was broken. This time Peter is like, I'm going to keep this on the surface. I fondly appreciate you. Thank you. I will commit on the surface. And that's what Jesus did. But or that's what Peter did. Jesus met him though at that moment says okay I'll take you this way but he had already told you Peter but you will so now what happened when he said I will love you and have attachment to you three times that counteracts the disowned statement Peter is restored back unto the kingdom of God with Jesus and he can move forward. And then you can see this in his ministry. You're going to see the transformation and the change in his ministry as he goes about doing this. Now, let's look at this obligation because I want you to see this now. Why Jesus had to do this and what this does to you and me because this is so fascinating, powerful. Here in John 13:34, Jesus says, "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another, as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." All three of those loves is that G35 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary, which means social moral sense, duty, obligation. [Music] Wait a second. Wait a minute. I give you a new commandment that ye love one another, that you are obligated, that you commit your duty to one another. Oh, how I've met I've been teaching on being a priest for your family. I've been I was teaching you last week how to intercede. Actually, the last couple of weeks, how to intercede on your family's behalf by forgiving, speaking the words. Because see G Peter when he spoke the disownment, he had to speak the confession back into existence to have the restoration. This is why Jesus asked him verbally, "Do you love me?" And he answered, "You know that I do. I love you." He had to answer him verbally. Now the restoration is taken into place. And Jesus is saying, "I'm giving you guys a new commandment. All of you, all of you are my disciples." He's telling you to have that moral obligation duty to one another. What is the moral obligation duty that you have toward one another? Well, as a parent, you have kids. It is your moral obligation to feed them, clothe them, put a roof over their heads, get them the things they need, and then add a few extra things here and then when you feel like you want to or earn they've earned it or something of that nature, that's your moral obligation. So, how do you apply that in Christianity? You're going to see godliness manifesting here and the good will. Let's continue on. Verse 35. By this all men, know that ye are my disciples if you have love. Look at this word love. It's different. This is G36 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary. This is the affection or benevolence, which benevolence means goodwill. So, by this shall all men know that you are my disciples. If you good will one to another, now you do good things. This is why you see people like in the church who have a their own business, you'll see them go into ministry. Uh I just saw we had a testimony, one of the Bible says a couple weeks ago and she's a widow and this young man came over and was mowing her lawn and they got to talking. They're both believers in Christ. He says, "You know what? If you ever need anything from me, you come and ask me. I will be here to help you. That is good will toward one another. That is this love. G36, the goodwill, benevolence love. So see what Jesus did here. He gave us a new commandment to be obligated and have our duty, the moral sense towards one another so that they know you're the disciple of Jesus. And then you're to do the good will toward one another because that's how they're going to know because you got to supply your fruit. You got to show them who you are, right? Oh, look at this. And in verse 12, and because iniquity shall abound, look at what this love, see, I want you to see this. This is so powerful. Jesus is prophesying Matthew 24. And because iniquity shall abound, the love, the good will G36 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary shall of many shall wax cold. He prophesied that in the latter days we will not see that good will happening. So in other words, we're not fulfilling our duty and obligation. We're not fulfilling the commandment of love that Jesus told us to have. [Music] This is very very important. This is where we need to realize there's more than having a relationship with God. You see, your love is I I have a relationship. You're f I'm fond of you, Jesus. You are my best friend. You are my God. You are my savior. Wonderful. And this has been my relationship with the Lord all the time. But now he's saying you're going to love one another, which is the commandment he gives you so that you are fulfilling your duty and obligation. How do you do that? So, I've been praying and interceding for family and friends and church. And when you start to intercede, I'm fulfilling my obligation to those around me. Think of it like this. I shared this before. Um, in the last year or two years, the neighborhood where we were living out, Lakeland Senor had a lot of um theft in there and uh over the years and and it it was there. It was prevalent. We were always locking our doors. You were very cautious and everything. And I, you know, I did the thing where I'm casting out demons. Ah, you know, Lord, place your hedge of protection. But I changed my prayer when the Lord gave me this epiphany. I prayed for them to have prosperity. And I blessed the thieves known as the enemy. Why? Because if they got the stuff that they need and want, they won't come to me to take it from me. What an epiphany that is. Oh my goodness. You guys got to get this. So now when you let's say you want revival, guess what you got to start doing is you got to pray for the people's soul and spirit around the area around the church. You've got to fulfill your obligation. Jesus wants a revival, but he's waiting for you. What's the scripture that says creation is waiting on the sons of men to show themselves. This is where it starts. you interceding on behalf of the people around you. This is very very important and very powerful that we have to get this because God said Jesus says love one another. Love with obligation and duty. So like for the the war with Israel Hamas, guess what? I'm asking the Lord to forgive Hamas. I'm asking him to forgive the terrorists. I don't want to. I don't want to do it, but that's my duty and obligation because I love Israel. And if I forgive Hamas and Jesus forgives them too, they change on the inside, get transformed, and become believers in Christ. That's what you want for your family, right? You want your family saved. You should be forgiving them of their sins. By the way, you should be forgiving yourself, too, because you may have cursed them. Oh, man. Did you see so and so again, all high and loaded up? man, that that guy needs rehab. He needs something, but boy, it's ugly and oh, I wish if you would just forgive him and then forgive yourself, clear the curses and you bless him. Now, the spirit can move in him and change him. And scripture clearly tells us that that when they hear and see, they will believe. That's how you bring down bring down the demonic activities that people have opened the doors for that they didn't even know that they did. A lot of the stuff that goes on around us is due to ignorance. I think it's Isaiah Hosea 6:4 or 4:6 where he says we die from or we're destroyed from lack of knowledge. The word destroy is we're we're dumb and silent. But we have a duty, a moral sense, and an obligation to fulfill what Jesus told us to do. And that is for all of our family members. That is for every church member. That is for every ministry. That is for your government. Yeah, we need to forgive Biden. If you have an issue with Trump, you need to forgive Trump. I know it's hard. I didn't want to forgive Hamas. But I also not only did that, I said to demonic activity, loose the hostages. See, whatever you loose on earth is loosed in heaven. And did you see two hostages were already released and sent back? Yeah, prayer works, my friend. Prayer works. You got to get in on this and understand what's going on here. So, look at this. Now, this is Peter talking at the day of Pentecost. This is Acts 3:14 and 19. But ye, he's talking to the Jews, the Hebrews, and really to the Pharisees and the Sadducees, the leadership of Israel. He says, "But ye denied the holy one and the just and desired a murderer to be granted unto you." So there was Barabus and Jesus. And Pontius Pilate says, "Which one do you want me to release?" And they all cried for Barabus. That was not just the high priest. They were antagonizing the crowd, but the crowd fell for it. And they all said, "Free Barabus. Give us the thief. We want him. Crucify Jesus the Christ. We don't want him. He's not our Messiah." They disowned him. See, we when you say something like, "President Trump, it was not my president." You disowned your president. He was the only leadership you had. And now you have no leadership. and you are now open and vulnerable to an attack from the enemy. This is why it's very important that we understand what we disown and how to get it restored. We need to have that restoration in order for us to fulfill our obligation and duty as a minister of Christ, a disciple of Christ. Amen. Now look at verse 19. So he tells you how to do it. So you dis disavowed, you contradicted the holy one, Jesus. Now he says repent. Look what the word repent there means to think differently. Reconsider. Repent ye therefore and be converted. Revert. Turn about that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Because see, times of refreshing come. And as they come, they come in waves. To grab a hold of that wave and to get that refreshing, you need to be repented. You need to be living for Christ. Because when the wave comes, you catch it because you are already established. You haven't disowned him. You haven't contradicted him. You haven't cursed your relationship with God. And you are fulfilling your obligation and your duty, the commandment that Jesus told us to do. Very, very important. Now, look what Peter also says because you can see he's maturing here. Look at now in when he wrote first Peter 1 seven and 8 says that the trial of your faith. Do you think Peter went through a trial when he wailed cried out recognized his failure and how violently bitter he was. He says that the trial of your faith being much more precious than the go than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire might be found to praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. He recognized the brokenness that he went through. Look at the maturity. Now look at this. He says, "Whom having not seen?" Look at he's telling you, "You haven't seen the Christ. I was there with him and I failed." But look what he says. Whom having not seen ye love? Look at that love. The G35. So all these people now that he's talking to are loving under the obligation and the moral sense and the duty, the commandment that Jesus said, something he struggled with because he was ready to die. Why? If he died then and he didn't fulfill the uh his obligation to 3,000 that was saved on day of Pentecost would not have been saved or it would have been done through somebody else. Who knows? But he had to fulfill his duty and obligation. He's recognizing this here and he's telling you I not only recognize it for me. Look at you get to do it and you're doing it without even having been there when we were. You're believing the testimony. He says, "Though ye though now ye see him not yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory." Oh, this discip this disciple Peter is absolutely amazing. You can just see the transformation and the change that he went through. And he's telling us now how to deal with it. You see, he said, "I had to repent. I had to confess." Look at what Romans Paul clearly identifies it in Romans 10:9. He says, "If that if thou shalt confess, you're going to acknowledge with thy mouth the Lord Jesus." You have to acknowledge Lord Jesus. You have to say it. That's your acknowledgement. You're confessing and shout believe. Look at what that belief, the word believe there is. Have faith. How do you have faith? How do you believe? You're talking to the sky. You can't see Jesus. You don't even know if he's real or not. that yet me he's real because I'm telling you I have seen him move in my life and believe my testimony I am not kidding you I have moved out here to Missouri and I have brought nine people and the hand of God was on this move through and through every little detail was handled taken care of fully and completely under God because he blessed us why because we are fulfilling our duty and obligation putting him first in our lives having that relationship with him and now interceding. He's teaching us. He's helping us grow like he did with Peter because we choose to be disciples. We choose to put him first and then he blesses us. This is how this works. And he says, "So believe, have faith in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead." See, when you're talking to the sky, you're actually believing that God raised him from the dead because you're talking that he's alive. Isn't that amazing? That's just so wonderful. And thou shalt be saved. Look at that. Say, make whole, restore. When you say, Lord Jesus, I love you. Like Peter had to say. Now, he said it through fondness, appreciation. I I love you, Lord. You're great. You're wonderful. And that's how many Christians love Jesus. They love him that way. So when you say, "Jesus, I love you. Jesus, Lord Jesus, I ask you to save me. I ask you to be my eternal Lord and Savior. Put my name in the Lamb's book of life. When you say that and you're confessing, you are made whole. Now, watch what happens. Yeah, watch this. For whoso, this verse 13, for whosoever shall call upon, invoke, there's that confession and acknowledge the name of the Lord shall be saved. Look at that word save. Save, deliver, heal, preserve. You have to call upon Jesus. When you invoke Jesus, Lord Jesus, I acknowledge you're the son of God. And I'm calling on you, invoking the name of Jesus. Because now you're a believer in Christ when you ask him to forgive you of your sins. And what happens is when you invoke him now and you say the name of Jesus, you are being healed, preserved. Let's go back to that delivered and safe from whatever circumstance circumstance or situation you're in. Whether you're having a problem at work or with your neighbor or with the devil himself and you're having to deal with all you have to do is say the name of Jesus. You see, let's say you're dealing with health issues. Jesus, you are Lord over my health. You are Lord over this cancer. You are Lord over my joy. You are Lord over my grief. You see, you are invoking the name of Jesus. Now, in order to have the authorities, you have to be a believer, which means you have to say, go back to verse nine, confess with the mouth, and believe that God raised him from the dead. You will be saved. You say, "Jesus, I'm sorry. I messed up and I'm believing that you're alive and I'm asking you to forgive me." And as soon as you do that, you are made whole immediately. Your body may not know it yet. Your mind may not know it yet. You might be struggling and fighting something, a division within your soul. But the name of Jesus, now you have the authority to go before the heavenly court. Here's how this works. As I alluded to this earlier in the beginning of the message, when you forgive, so it's you and Jesus before God and this whole heavenly court. And you got demons on one side, angels on the other, however it's set up, I don't know, but it's something like that. And what happens is you say, "Lord Jesus, forgive me." So Jesus takes you up to in front of his father and he says, "Father, she's asked me. He's asked me to forgive her him. I have forgiven them. So you forgive them. So the father says, "Okay, they're forgiven." So they have their rights restored. They can have this, this, and this. And then the devil might be off to the side, but but but and God says, "Nope. Justice served." See, you are immediately saved. Justice is served. And now the devil has no right to accuse you of anything ever again. So what happens is you can do what Job did. Job always prayed forgiveness over his kids, especially after they had a party. He was there the very beginning of the sunrise the next morning and he was um uh had with his rams and his bulls and he was doing sacrifices and he says just in case they curse God while they were having the party. This is how much that's his duty and obligation because he was praying for his kids. You see this? Look at the manifestation of the word of God here and the duty and the obligation here. So when you fulfill this and you are walking in your obligation. So what happens is you're there in the heavenly core. You're forgiven. You forgive something else. The devil comes calling and saying, "No, no, no, no, no." And Jesus says, "But I have forgiven her. I forgive it, too." And then God says, "Okay, it's forgiven. Clear." It voids, it nullifies whatever contract the demon has in that in that place. You see, let's use Hamas as an example. They open the door for demonic activity to be in their their hearts. Um, just from the violence that they did, just trying to keep this as nice as possible, but the violence that they committed cannot that it's unfathomable to me. That has to be demonic. I just can't see a human being doing something this degrading and wrong. But when I forgave them, because see the demons is telling God, they did this, they did that. And he has a bond, a hold on them. And God says, "Well, yeah, they did." Because nobody's forgiven them. But see, the moment I forgave, Jesus stood right next to me. He says, "And I forgive them, too." And so God says, "Okay, they're forgiven. Rights are restored. We're going to release the hostages. The bondage is let go." The demons have to let go. They no longer have a binding contract in place with that person. Now, can it be re-established? Oh, yes. So, all that person has to do is just invite the devil back into his or her life and I'll forgive him again in my next prayer. And now it's a matter of who outlasts who. I took it one step further and uh like for the weather for Southern California. I've taught I've shared that testimony before, but basically I went to the Lord in a very bold statement says, "Shut the mouths of these people trying to curse the weather, trying to curse what we're blessing. Keep it shut so the blessing can break through." And then it did. And we started having rain there again in Southern California. It was really nice. We had so much rain, as a matter of fact. But this is what I'm talking about. This is how you restore yourself out of a disowned statement. You do the same exact thing. Lord Jesus, forgive me because I denied Jesus back then or I have denied Jesus in my past. I'm asking you to forgive me. Jesus comes right next to you. I forgive you. Heavenly Father, I forgive them of this. This is forgiven. And heavenly father says, I agree. And the the uh he his gavvel is finalized. He punches it down. Boy, I just can't even I got it visually, but I can't speak it. But anyways, and the devils have to run. They have to release. Now, imagine if you started forgiving somebody that hurt you. By the way, it's not for them. It's for you. I taught on this just in the last couple of weeks. When you forgive someone else, see, when you're holding on to unforgiveness, your body is tight and it's in a lot of pain and it's hurting and it only gets worse from there. And that hardness turns into cancer. So, if you're dealing with cancer, you might want to look at the spirit of unforgiveness. And whether you want to forgive them or not, I suggest saying it anyways. Because when you speak it out, what happens is you're letting the angels and the demons know up in the heaven and and you're letting Jesus know, okay, I'm going to speak this out. And it's okay to say to Jesus, I don't want to, but I'm going to be obedient to your word and do it anyways. And Jesus says, okay, I forgive them, too. You're you're allowing Jesus to forgive. And what happens now? You're allowing Jesus to change your heart to to mold it and make it better. So, it softens and before you know it, it's just water under the bridge. And now you're not going to be sick. You're not going to get cancer. Not from that incident anyways. But it's up to you whether you want to continue to go and fulfill your obligation to not just yourself, but to those around you and to the heavenly father because he's got a ministry for you. He's calling you to ministry, whatever that may be. You have to start acting on that. It is his commandment that he gave you. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the blessing of your word and we thank you for the golden nuggets that you've given us today and the revelation that we have.
