  • THE HEIGHT AND WIDTH OF THE TREE OF LIFE | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) shows whatever we may be lacking in our perception of the written language is more than made up by the mathematical structure built within God’s Word that our spirit intuitively understands. Top of Page THE HEIGHT AND WIDTH OF THE TREE OF LIFE Ezra 6:3 “In the first year of King Cyrus, King Cyrus issued a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem: ‘Let the house be rebuilt, the place where they offered sacrifices; and let the foundations of it be firmly laid, its height sixty cubits and its width sixty cubits.’” Within Bible context numbers have very defined meanings; from the Genesis creation narrative we find that the number six is a fundamental part of the creation, since it took God six days to complete the entire creation. We also find that the number six is an intricate part of time itself; as in sixty seconds in a minute and sixty minutes in an hour. Because of that, the number six is symbolic of both time and man, since man was created on the sixth day. We could say that the number six in the Bible refers to man’s time here on earth, and we see that represented on the foundation of the house of God at Jerusalem, the foundation or the root, the beginning of the tree of man, represented by the number sixty, and its height, the completion of how high man’s reach would attain, represented by the number sixty as well. Of course the cardinal points, and the points of the compass, that point man to the different directions into which the tree of man can grow is represented by the number three hundred and sixty, which is a simple multiplication of 60X6 = 360. Proverbs 20:24 “A man’s steps (his progression) are of the Lord; how then can a man understand his own way?” The answer to the question posed by our verse of Scripture is this: Through our understanding of the progression of the numbers; after all, we live in a mathematically correct universe. As a bilingual person I have a personal understanding of how difficult it is to translate from one language to another, because similar words do not always carry the same emphasis or stay true to their original meaning when transliterated. Even for those who only operate in one language, you know how difficult it can be to express yourselves sometimes, when spoken words seem inadequate to fully vent your emotions. But not so with numbers, for numbers are the perfect language, you cannot mistranslate a mathematical equation. Two times two will always equal four no matter what language you are using. The Word of God is not only Perfect in Truth, the truth it portrays no matter what language it is translated into, but the Word of God is Truth Perfected in its mathematical structure as well. Whatever we may be lacking in our perception of the written language is more than made up by the mathematical structure built within God’s Word that our spirit intuitively understands. In other words, there is a mathematical rhythm that governs the creation, including mankind, that causes our souls to move along or dance to, if you will, to the heavenly symphony. Now if I use dance as an example, not everybody dancing on the dance floor necessarily knows how to dance, some are just moving to the beat as they interpret it with their own bodies, and even those who may be moving along pretty good at the rhythm of the music, who may qualify as good dancers, may not necessarily understand the mathematical components that are built within the music that they are dancing to, but nevertheless they intuitively flow with it and enjoy it. But to those who understand the mathematical structure of the creation, the width and the height of the reach of man, a perception relative to their position in the tree of life is given, which allows them to dance the dance of life in perfect synchronization to the beat of the universe. Simply put, they are the ones that march in time with the times. 1 Chronicles 12:32 “Of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do…” Isn’t this what life is really about? Timing: doing the things that need to be done at the proper time. But the key here is knowledge, to have an understanding of, or to be aware of the times in which we are living. Proverbs 24:3-4 “Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” Here we see the progression of the steps that are ordered for man’s edification enumerated. If the house typifies a person, and it does, wisdom then represents the blueprint for that person’s life. It is through the understanding of the blueprint for that person’s life that the house is then established in accordance with what the blueprint defines that house or person should be. Psalm 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.” In other words, a person needs to understand what God’s plan for their life is, that is wisdom, if that person tries to establish his/her life outside of God’s plan for their lives, they labor in vain, that is foolishness. It is through the knowledge and implementation of this revelation of the wisdom of God, that the rooms of the human heart are filled with pleasant and precious things, which are the fruits of the Spirit of God. How do I know whether or not I am living a life that is built on the wisdom of God? Proverbs 24:5, 10 “A wise man is strong, yes, a man of knowledge increases strength...If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” Proverbs is only stating the obvious, if our faith is failing it is only because of our failure to understand the knowledge of God’s purpose for our lives, and our present position in the tree of life. Let us look at the numbers: God completed the creation in six days; Moses tells us in Psalm 90 that a day is like a thousand years to the Lord; we have about six thousand years of recorded human history within the biblical genealogy. We are fast approaching the closing of the church age which is the sixth dispensation in God’s chronology before we enter into the seventh dispensation of God’s rest. Jesus told us that the last generation would be the product of a world that was at war, where nations rose against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms, and that the end of the age would come before that generation ended. Daniel told us that in the last generation knowledge would increase exponentially and that travel would be world wide. By this many signs we can conclude that our position in the tree of life is that of fruit that is ripen and ready to be harvested; so that our lives need to be built in accordance to that. Did you know that for us, the saints of the end times, we are a generation that will leave no history behind us. What history will record about the saints of the end is that Jesus came and redeemed them. If you read the book of the Acts of the Saints it does not end, it is left open so that a future entry can be made on behalf of the saints that left no legacy other than that of remaining watchful and faithful to the very end. John 21:1-2 “After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this way He showed Himself: Simon Peter, Thomas called the twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee (two), and two others of His disciples were together.” Both the names and the number of the disciples in this account, give us insight into how Jesus is going to show Himself when He returns at the end of times. In other words, this event happened to typify a future event that will occur in our present day end time. Peter represents the Rock or Truth found in the promises of the Word of God upon which God’s church was founded and which Jesus is coming to redeem. Thomas represents the once doubters who have been enlightened by the accuracy of Biblical prophecy concerning the truth of Jesus’ imminent return. Nathanael represents the gift of God, which is our eternal salvation that Jesus brings with Him. The two sons of Zebedee means the sons of thunder, for Jesus will appear like a bolt of lightning that flashes across the sky at His coming. And the two unnamed others are representative of the Two Witnesses who will return with Jesus and stay here on the earth after the rapture. And the total of seven disciples present at His return means that all those who are resurrected and rapture at that time enter into the Day of His Rest, the Sabbath, or seventh day. John 21:8 “But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from land, but about two hundred cubits), dragging the net with the fish.” The two hundred cubits symbolizes the two days or two thousand years that the church age has been dragging in the net with the fish, which is representative of the church age. John 21:11 “Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken.” Here we see the completion of the harvested tree of life. Out of the six thousand years of time come forth one hundred and forty four generations, twenty four hours in one day represents twenty four generations every thousand years. 24 X 6 = 144 The church age is represented by the number seven. And the Two Witnesses that oversee here on the earth, after the rapture, the punishment inflicted on those who did not believe, to bring them to repentance, both of the Jews and of the church that were left behind. 144 generations + 7 the church + 2 witnesses = 153 grand total redeemed. We see this pattern also inside the Holy Place in the tabernacle of Moses, where the Table of Showbread had twelve loaves of bread that represented the twelve tribes of Israel. In Revelation chapter seven we see twelve thousand out of every tribe sealed: 12 X 12 = 144 or one hundred and forty four thousand. Opposite of the Table of Showbread, inside the Holy Place was the Menorah, the seven candle sticks which represented the church, the body of Christ. And on each side of the Menorah, two olive trees representative of the Two Witnesses, for a total of one hundred and fifty three, which completes the redemption of all the children of Light, a number so vast, that no one could count, and it can only be represented within the width and height of the Tree of Life. Revelation 7:9 “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands.” Make sure that you are one of those numbered , make sure that you are building your life in the expectation of Christ’s soon return. • THE SEVEN THUNDERS | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Revelation 10:4 “Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write; Top of Page THE SEVEN THUNDERS Revelation 10:4 “Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, ‘Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them’” Up to this moment John had been writing everything which had been revealed to him since the vision started, he even wrote down the things that he did not understand, and in many instances he was given an explanation to the meaning of those things that he did not understand. But here, all of the sudden, he is told not to write down the information that he was just privileged to hear from the seven thunders as they uttered their voices. We know that he heard it, but he was not allowed to share it with the rest of us, which begs the question, why? If you read my book Man’s Final Destiny , you know that I believe that the letters to the seven churches comprise the entirety of the Church Age from the physical perspective, and that the seven seals comprise the entirety of the Church Age from the spiritual perspective, about a two-thousand-year period so far. In the same manner, I believe that the seven trumpe ts reveal the entirety of the first half of the Wrath of God which lasts 1260 days, and that the seven thunders cover the same time period from the physical perspective, but for some reason the physical revelation, which would make it a lot easier for us to understand this time period, is kept from us. Revelation 10:7 “But in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound (the trumpet), the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.” What the seven thunders spoke is part of the Bible, and it must be fulfilled exactly as the Lord revealed it to His prophets, even though it was not revealed to us, but this part of Scripture will not be revealed to humanity until the sounding of the seventh trumpet takes place, then this mystery of God will be completed. Since God sealed it from us, it would be foolish for us try to know the details of what the message was, but we can extrapolate what the general content of the message is, since we have the spiritual revelation given to us of that same time period during the blowing of the seven trumpets. In other words, if we know what the general context of a book is about, we may not know the particulars if we have not read it, but we can clearly ascertain what the emphasis of the message is that such a book would be detailing. In our case, we can take a look at the last verse of the spiritual revelation of the seven trumpets and find out what the Lord’s emphasis during these 1260-day period was. Since chapters eight and nine of Revelation deal with that time period from the spiritual perspective. Revelation 9:21 “And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality of their thefts.” From God’s perspective He is trying to get as many people to heaven as possible and spare them from His Day of Wrath, but they have to be willing to confess and renounce their sins, and if they do not repent, they cannot enter into the holiness of His heaven. We also know from the spiritual revelation of chapters eight and nine that, God in His great mercy, allows those who rejected the free offer of salvation as proclaimed during the Church Age in the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to experience hell here on earth, for an interval of five months, figuring that those who did not really think that heaven or hell were real, would change their minds and repent when faced with the reality of an eternity of pain that finally sinks in into their hearts, where the seat of their understanding abides. Jeremiah 17:9-10 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind (most secret parts), even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.” So that we can clearly extrapolate that since the human heart is desperately wicked, and only God truly knows how wicked, that if he would have revealed to humanity during the age of grace what the seven thunders uttered, that there was a plan B, just in case they missed the rapture, that many of those who are believers now might have said to themselves after hearing the Gospel that, well if I miss it there is another way for me. And since God truly knows the wicked condition of the human heart, it may be that those who still did no repented after their encounter with hell for five months, could not do so because they heard the Gospel previously, were convicted by it, and rejected it by saying to themselves, well, I’ll believe it when I see it. For we know that without faith it is impossible to please God. I know that in my rational mind I do not want any kind of hell or demonic encounters, ever, even if it is for just five months, no sir, there is no plan B as far as I am concerned, I much rather believe now and along with my faith in the Truth of the Word of God, enjoy the benefits of my salvation in the here and now, which are many, and rejoice as I fervently look for His appearing, as He returns to take me home with Him and to spared me from the Day of His Wrath. I do not know what the mechanics for salvation will be for those who missed the rapture and find themselves in a real hell on earth, for that is what John was not allowed to write, and I do not want to know, for its one less temptation for us to face, but it will involve dying, for once the rapture takes place the only way to heaven is through the door of death. Since we know the type of martyrdom that those who get saved during the second half of God’s Wrath entails, which is beheading for refusing to take the mark of the beast, we can be pretty sure that the type of death required before entering heaven will not be pretty either for those who missed the Grace of God. Is their required sacrificial death so horrible that our Lord refused to published it before its time? Or is it so simple that it would have undermined the effectiveness of the Gospel during the time of Grace? I’ve come to the conclusion that is neither one of these two extremes. Revelation 10:10-11 “Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter. And he said to me, ‘You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.’” The angel tells John to take this little book and to eat it, and then he gives John the bad news first and then the good news last. He tells John that it will make his stomach bitter, but that it will be sweet as honey on his mouth. John, on the other hand, looks at the good news first, he says that it is as sweet as honey in his mouth but that it then soured his stomach. In biblical understanding, eating something is representative of the embracing of a doctrine deep within the heart. The doctrine here is the teaching of salvation and the consequences of damnation. From our present-day perspective as Christians, our salvation is as sweet as honey to our mouths, for as it is written: Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” For us today there is grace and nothing more, for the bitter cup of all our sinfulness was poured out in full measure upon Jesus on the cross. The night before He was crucified, as He was praying in agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, He asked Father God if there was anyway that He could avoid drinking from the bitter cup that was so full with all our sins, knowing that it was for that reason that He came, but that’s how loathsome it was to Him, but we are told that for the joy that was set before Him He endured the cross, for the sweet taste of victory that would follow His sacrificial death. But for those who will miss the rapture, they have treated the blood of Jesus with contempt, and by so doing they have forfeited the grace that could have been theirs and escape the hour of trials, so that now they must drink of the cup of their own bitterness as they are turned over to the law of God which declares that the soul that sinned shall surely die. But there is still the nectar of honey left for them if they pass the test and repent by recognizing once and for all that without God there is no hope for life and no hope for them. And that was the message that John was told to prophesy to the peoples and nations and tongues and kings. Without God there is no hope and without the Word of God there can be no salvation. We are living under the Dispensation of Grace which is so sweet to our taste, those who miss the rapture will find themselves living under the Dispensation of God’s Law overnight, and it will taste so bitter to the desperately wicked human heart that is so bound by selfish ambitions. But we rejoice in the fact that in whatever situation, or in whatever dispensation, the love of God always makes a way of escape. But why would anyone turn their backs on the sweetness of the Gospel of Grace? You do not have to die in your sins, and if our Lord returns while you are still alive, you do not have to be left behind to drink from the bitter cup of your own sinfulness. Say yes to Jesus and He will deliver your soul today into eternal life. • THE EFFECTIVE WORKING WORD | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 1 Thessalonians 2:13 “For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, Top of Page THE EFFECTIVE WORKING WORD 1 Thessalonians 2:13 “For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.” The Word of God has many functions, it created everything, sustains everything. But in a more personal level, the Word of God effectively works deliverance in those who believe in it. What is deliverance? Deliverance has to do with freedom. Since sin enslaves men, deliverance from sin is the act of being made free. John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free .” Since the Word of God is the embodiment of all Truth, those who believe in the truth of the Word of God are delivered from all their sins. Deliverance from sin follows three stages; we are immediately delivered, we are continuously being delivered, and we will be delivered. The reason the work of deliverance follows three stages is because we are being delivered completely, spirit, soul, and body. Let’s take a look at the spiritual aspect first. Our spirit can never die, for the spirit that gives us life originated from God, and like God it is eternal. In our mortal human nature we are considered dead in trespasses and sin, but death when referring to the spirit speaks of separation from God. When a person dies in their sins their spirit becomes separated from God for ever, that is what is called eternal damnation. When a person becomes born again, or born of the Spirit, their spirit is immediately regenerated and will never again be separated from God. Our spirit is delivered instantly the minute that we accept the Word of Truth. When we die, instantly our spirit would rise up to God because of His salvation. 2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” The only thing that our spirit needs after we become born again is to feed in the truth of the Word of God. For a weak spirit, one who is not being nourished by the Word of God, is not strong enough to influence our souls to turn its back on its sinful ways. We need to realize that our spirits are either dead, that is separated from God, or alive in Christ through the born-again experience, there is no in between for the spirit man within each person. Not so for our souls, for they are always going back and forth depending on which spirit is driving them. When our spirit is inspired by the Word of God it motivates us to do good works. When we neglect spiritual nourishment, our soul is moved by the sensuality of this world, through the spirits of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, to do sinful things. That is why Paul is commending the Thessalonians for receiving the Word of God and is telling them this: Which also effectively works in you who believe. By using the words 'effectively works in you', Paul indicates that the deliverance of our souls is always a work in progress. Galatians 5:24-25 “And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” If we are born again, we live in the Spirit of God who made our spirit alive in Christ. So, why not also walk after the Spirit of Truth that can also deliver our souls from the deadness of this world system? Our physical bodies will not be delivered until the day when the resurrection of the dead takes place. Even if we are born again, our bodies will continue to decline and decay with the passing of time, for the Word of God declares that: Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” So, that in our everyday lives, the ministry of deliverance is the process of working out of our souls its dependency to the desires of the flesh. That is why the crucifixion metaphor is used, those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since crucifixion implies a slow painful death, that is what the separation from the desires of this world entails, a slow painful death. Matthew 26:38 “Then He said to them, ‘My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.’” The hardest thing for us humans to accomplish is the death of self. Our self life is who we are and how we see ourselves. But when how we see ourselves and who we are does not align with the Word of God, there is no other choice, our soul has to die to self or lose its reward. The effective working Word of God is the only power that can bring about such transformation in us. This is what Paul told the Thessalonians, 'When you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God'. We cannot die to our self-life until we realize that our lives are not our own, for they belong to God. Reason dictates that if we belong to God, our lives should be modeled after the Word of God. As we welcome the dictates of the Word of God for what our lives should be, that is we receive them as if directly from the mouth of God, that’s when the effectively works part sets everything in motion within us. 1 Thessalonians 2:14 “For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, just as they did from the Judeans.” Immediately the world around them began to persecute them, just as the churches that they had modeled themselves after were persecuted. The world will always persecute those who desire to fulfill the Word of God in their lives. Now why is that? Very simple, those whose desire is for the Word of God, which is Truth, cannot be lead stray by the deception of this world system. If you don’t move with the flow of the world you become an impediment to the flow of the world. John 15:18-19 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” Hatred from the world means that the Word of God is effectively working in us the transformation that God wants to accomplish in us who believe. 2 Thessalonians 2:13 “But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation (deliverance) through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.” Notice how the process begins with salvation, then sanctification by the Spirit, and all comes together by belief in the truth. Would you agree that the world is waging war against the Word of God? Here in the United States if a student takes his Bible into a public school building it would cause so much trauma to the local ACLU chapter that you would think that the end of the world had arrived. Just a lonely cross standing on a faraway hill causes enough distress to those who are under the influence of this world system, that they will not rest until they find a way to remove it. You cannot have such a disproportionate reaction to small things like those, unless it is because it offends the spirits of intolerance that are behind those who feel threaten by the presence of something that they know can deliver them from the power of those demonic influences. Think of it, that was us before we got saved, being moved by the desires of our flesh to lust after the things of this world, and to hate those who take a stand for the principles of life that are taught in the Word of God. And now as believers, are we going to tolerate those same demonic entities just so that we can be part of this world system? Of course not! But remember that deliverance from them requires us to fully commit our lives to the true teachings of the Word of God. Following with this threefold principle of salvation, sanctification and belief in the truth, we can take a threefold approach as well in our stance against these demonic entities. I call it repentance, renouncement and restoration. We repent before God for all of our sins, He forgives us and cleanses us from all of our sins. 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” We renounce the world and the things which are in the world. 1 John 2:15 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” Remember, we know that His Word is effectively working in us when the world hates us. And as we truly repent of our sins and renounce this world system, then the Lord takes it upon Himself to restore our souls to the divine setting that He originally created us to fulfill. 1 Thessalonians 3:13 “So that He may establish your hearts (souls– self-life) blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • REASON TOGETHER | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Isaiah 1:18 “‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord, ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; REASON TOGETHER Isaiah 1:18 “‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord, ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.’” From the foundation of the church of our Lord Jesus Christ, people struggled to define what to call it. The believers of the early church were not called Christians until many years later at a church in Antioch. Acts 11:26 “And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.” Before that, they were called the people of the way—for lack of a better name—since Christianity was never presented as a new religion that they were to embrace, but as a new and more accurate way into salvation. Acts 18:26 “So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.” Notice how Christian doctrine was based on reason rather than religious precepts; they explained salvation as an act of faith that was based on the fact that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day, and that He is now seated at the right hand of God, forever making intercession for all of us who believe in Him. 1 Corinthians 2:1-2 “And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony (mystery) of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” As you can see from our opening text, that God is calling us to reason together with Him, and not to the blind adherence of religious dogma. How does a person reason with God? Remember first, that reason deals with facts, so that we need to establish a protocol that is founded on undisputable facts to which we can relate. Though your sins are like scarlet: The fact is that we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. We can never reason with God from a perspective of equality, that would be pride, which would immediately cause us to be kicked out of His holy presence. James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” Some people get frustrated because they do not seem to get any answers from God when they go before Him in prayer. Psalm 51:17 “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart—these, O God, You will not despise.” These two Scriptures lay a solid foundation as to how we are to approach God in order to reason with Him. First, we must recognize that we are sinners, and that God is holy. Second, that if we come before Him with a spirit of humility and brokenness, He will not turn His back on us. They shall be white as snow: The second aspect has to do with the why are we coming before God. First let me say that, coming before God is always the best move that we can ever make, no matter what our circumstances are. But we need to understand God’s protocol and follow it if we are going to be able to reason with God. What I am saying is that some people only go before God when they have a pressing need that they themselves cannot fix. The problem with this approach is that they want to set the agenda as to what it is that they want to reason with God about. But God has His own agenda for us; He wants to implement in our lives a new way of living so that we can rise to His high calling, which is: Isaiah 1:16-17 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.” This is the context from which God issued the promise: Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. How many of us can keep God’s law? No one can! For it is written that All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean: How do we do that? Jesus Christ and Him crucified! Sound reasoning leads us to the fact that within ourselves we are incapable of doing that which is good; therefore, the only conclusion that we can reasonably arrive to, is that we are all in need of a Savior. Romans 7:18 “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.” So far, we learned that God is holy, and that those who follow God must also be holy. We are commanded by God to wash ourselves, and to make ourselves clean in order to follow Him. We are also told that we cannot even do that for ourselves; what a wretched condition we find ourselves in—we need a Savior who is able to deliver us from our filth and make us acceptable before God. Who is this Savior, and how does He saves us? Romans 7:24-25 “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!...” Jesus is our Savior because He died for all our sins. Hebrews 9:22 “And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.” Jesus is our Savior who not only died for all our sins, but He is also our Savior who cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Ephesians 1:6-7 “To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” So far reason has led us into the undeniable facts that God is holy and that we are not. That we are required by God to be good, but the reality is that we are not. And not only that, but that we are unable to be good by our own strength. We conclude then that without a Savior we are forever lost. Isaiah gives us the promise that: Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool, but only if we repent and accept His offer of forgiveness that can only be attained through Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, whose name is forever to be blessed! Isaiah 1:19-20 “‘If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat (be blessed with salvation) the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured (destroyed by your own sins) by the sword’; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” The spirit of pride is the biggest obstacle that keeps those who know that they need a Savior, from accepting Jesus as their Savior. We need to realize that it is the pride—and the proud—of this world that our Lord is coming to judge. Without Jesus as our Savior, we will fall under the coming judgment of God. For the preceding generations, their judgment came after they died without Christ. For it is written that: It is appointed unto men to die once and then comes the judgment. What is unique to our present generation—if this is the last generation before Jesus comes, as all signs point that it is—is that this generation will have to bear the judgment of all the preceding generations before it. Matthew 23:36 “Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.” So that this last generation will have to endure the physical punishment due to all the generations before it, while here on the earth, and then, be cast into hell and the eternal judgment that follows. So that there is a double incentive for those who are now alive, to repent and to receive the double reward of salvation and escaping the judgment that is soon coming upon all those who dwell on the earth, to test them. Isaiah 2:10-11 “Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.” According to Scripture, there are three major spirits that afflict all the inhabitants of this present-day world. 1 John 2:16 “For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” We learn by simple reasoning from Scripture, that the only way to overcome the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, is by dying to self and living with Christ, through the power of His unending grace. We also learn that pride is what keeps many from humbling themselves before God, confessing their sins before Him, and receiving God’s pardon that is available through our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. We learn as well that it is that spirit of pride that God will judge mightily at His soon return. If there was ever a time to renounce the spirit of pride and to enter into the Rock of God’s salvation, it is right now before God’s final judgment is unleashed! Isaiah 2:12 “For the day of the Lord of hosts shall come upon everything proud and lofty, upon everything lifted up—and it shall be brought low.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THE SANITATION OF CHRISTIANITY | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 2 Chronicles 13:5 “Should you not know that the Lord God of Israel gave the dominion over Israel to David forever, to him and his sons, by a covenant of salt?” Top of Page THE SANITATION OF CHRISTIANITY 2 Chronicles 13:5 “Should you not know that the Lord God of Israel gave the dominion over Israel to David forever, to him and his sons, by a covenant of salt?” During Bible days in the Old Testament salt was a very valuable commodity, salt was required as part of most of the sacrifices that were offered to God in the Tabernacle. The symbolism was clear since salt was commonly used back then as an antidote to corruption. Before refrigeration one of the most effective ways to preserve meat, fish or poultry after they were killed, was by dressing then with salt and also saturating then in salt for preservation, hence the value of salt. By a covenant of salt: Second Chronicles makes the statement that when God committed Himself to give the dominion over Israel forever to David and his sons, that it was to be an irrevocable covenant, by making it a covenant of incorruptible salt. Now we know that Israel has never failed to have a descendant of David ruling over them, even to this day, for by David and his sons God meant that Jesus, a descendant from the line of David, would be the one that held the keys that represented God’s incorruptible dominion over Israel. Revelation 3:7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, these things says He who is holy, He who is true, He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens.” Notice how Jesus uses the phrase the key of David to announce the rapture of the church; now when John wrote this Revelation, Jerusalem and the temple had already been destroyed. But you see Jesus is stating that as a descendant of David after the flesh, He has dominion over the nation of Israel to be their King forever in accordance with the incorruptible covenant of salt that God entered into with David. And not only that, but also as the head of the church, which is His body, He is both King and High Priest over it; and not only that, but also He is coming back to assume His dominion over all the nations of the world that belong to Him as the last Adam who restores everything to God that the first Adam lost. Colossians 1:18-20 “And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness (head of Israel, head of the church, head of the nations) should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things (the entire creation) to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.” Imagine how hopeless Satan felt when a mortal of divine origin, who could not be corrupted, assumed the position of King of kings and Lord of lords over all that He Jesus, the Word of God, had originally created, and before those gathered of the assembly, He uttered these astonishing words to all the creation: Hebrews 2:12-14 “…‘I will declare Your name to My brethren; in the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.’ And again: ‘I will put My trust in Him.’ And again: ‘Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.’ Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through dead He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.” Though utterly defeated, the devil knew that his time was not up yet, so as the old saying goes, if you cannot beat them join them. So that in order for him to continue with his malevolent work of corruption, he had to find a way to sanitize the preserving power that God had invested in all mankind when He instituted the covenant of salt. Mark 9:49-50 “For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor (saltiness) how will you season it (make it salty again)? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.” Here Jesus is prophetically telling His church how the devil would try to neutralized their power to hinder corruption, by making their labor to be the workings of man instead of the ministry of God. When Paul told the church that everyone of their works would be tested by fire, every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt, he was just simply quoting Jesus. Leviticus 2:13 “And every offering of your grain offering you shall season with salt; you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your grain offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt.” So that our offering or service to God, and salt, the antidote to corruption, should always go hand in hand. The devil understood this from the beginning, and knowing that he could not stamped out true Christianity, though he tried, his next best thing was to try and remove the saltiness from those whose labor and ministry was their offering to God. How does a ministry or ministers lose their saltines? Revelation 2:14 “But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.” When Balak hired Balaam to curse the children of Israel, Balaam told him that he could not curse that which God had blessed. After several tries Balak got frustrated because every time Balaam tried to utter the curse words against Israel that Balak was telling him so say, a blessing came out from the mouth of Balaam instead. Not to forfeit the great prize that he, Balaam was offered, he devised a plan that later became a doctrine on how to sanitize, that is to render powerless the corruption preventing covering of the covenant of salt. This is what Balaam taught Moab that they should do to neutralize Israel’s covering and protection: Numbers 25:2-3 “They invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods. So Israel was joined to Baal of Peor, and the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel.” The doctrine of Balaam is simply to introduce a ministry or minister to eat of, or to intake, or to partake of demonic doctrines, things sacrificed or offered to idols, so that that ministry or ministers becomes one with Baal, which means lord, a substitute for our real Lord. Once that takes place that ministry looses its saltiness and pretty soon it becomes totally corrupted, unable to proclaim the truth it was ordained to promote. The new world order visionaries of today’s end of times, wish that Christianity and all its influence on humanity could be banished forever, but deep in their hearts they know the impossibility of their dream. They know that when Jesus said that He would built His church and that the gates of hell could not prevail against it, that He was not kidding. So instead they have settled for the contamination of as much of the church and its influence as they can, to nullified the churches power to interfere with their corrupting agenda. At the beginning of the 20th century their agenda started to take shape. One of the tools that they used was that of what they called equality, equality to them does not mean the same thing that it does to us. They demanded that along with creation other theories should be taught in schools, that seemed fair at first, but after they gained a foothold with the theory of evolution, they managed to banish not just the creation story from the curriculum, but the entire Bible from our schools, that is what their definition of equality is. By taking over the faculties of the colleges and universities that once were founded to proclaim the virtues of Christianity and to promote its teachings, such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all men who were willing to seek them. These colleges and universities have now become a corrupt incestuous cesspool of demonic doctrines, festering with nothing but hate for all that is good and decent and noble, hell bent on destroying all godliness in society. I just saw in the news one of such professors saying openly that when they demand equality for gay couples to marry, that that is not really what they are after, for what they are truly after, she said, is the abolition of the institution of marriage; she said, I hate marriage, so that by a very strong implication she is saying if we cannot abolish marriage, then let us denigrate it to the point where it really means nothing. They have also taken over the entertainment, games, and news producing industries in order to promote their anti-God agenda as an acceptable way of life, while at the same time portraying true Christianity falsely in order to turn innocent minds away from God’s saving grace for them. Now they are going as far as saying that our children do not really belong to us; Oh! When it comes to aborting, in that case, the mother has the inalienable right to end their lives at her choosing, but when it comes to Christians teaching their children our faith and way of life; Oh no in that case they belong to the state, and father and mother have no rights over them. I think we are in need of a new definition for idiocy, for clearly they surpass whatever the word idiot means right now. But sadly, all this corruption has its origin in the fact that we have allowed Christianity in our western civilization to be corrupted, we’ve lost our saltines and now we are paying the price for our compromise. Revelation 2:15 “Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.” Jesus tells the church at Pergamos of another doctrine that they’ve embraced that preceded the doctrine of Balaam, and which appears to be the culprit that allowed the doctrine of Balaam to infiltrate them. Nico means power and Laitans means laity, put together Nicolaitans means the power of the people. Democracy can be a great thing for a righteous people desirous of good laws to rule them but is a killer for the church. For once an elder of the church becomes subservient to the will of the people he ceases to be God’s servant and becomes nothing more than an ear tickler, promoting an agenda that aims to please the people rather than God. Have salt in yourselves: Remember what Jesus said in Mark 9:50? We may not have control over what goes on in our local churches, but we definitely have control into what we take in. You do not have to be part of any idolatrous pursuits that your church engages in to either please the crowds or to attract new comers by looking worldly. Remember that those who keep God’s Word, saltines, and do not deny the deity of Jesus, do not entertain Baal, will not have to go through the seasoning of fire that Jesus told us is coming to test all those who live in the world: Rev. 3:8/10 1 John 2:28 “And now, little children, abide in Him (have salt in yourselves, refute corruption), that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.” Amen!
