Top of Page BLAST FROM THE PAST INTERCESSOR'S MANUAL pg 33 - 35 (practicing intercessors) Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero Intercessor's Manual The conclusion to Intercessor's Manual is below. Click the above button to read the entire manual. It's good... 1 Thessalonians 3:710 “Therefore, brothers, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith. For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord. How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you? Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith.” NIV It is hard for us to understand the context in which the early church was fashioned. The names Thessalonians, Corinthians, Ephesians, Galatians, and many others immortalized in the New Testament have a kind of romantic air for those of us who read about them and receive encouragement from their letters after our salvation. We seem to forget that these were people deep in darkness, depraved, immoral, totally debased by their idolatry and paganism. Such was the power of the Apostolic Church Age, that today when we read about them, we do not see them in the historical bad light of where they came from. That is the power of intercession at its best, able not only to transform individuals, their cities and their future, but even their polluted past was expunged it seems. What drove those early prayer warriors in the face of such tremendous spiritual opposition and seemly astronomical odds against them? “For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord.” Intercession was their life! Just the news that the Thessalonians were standing firm in the faith gave great encouragement to the laborers, to the point of shouting “now we are really alive.” Imagine that, can you see yourself getting that excited after hearing good news about people you have been interceding for in a faraway place? “The joy we have in the presence of our God because of you.” I believe it wasn’t necessarily their joy they were rejoicing over as much as the joy reflected from the presence of the Lord. It was a joy so strong that the memory of distress and persecutions just faded far into the background; a joy that moved them to pray more earnestly night and day for another open door where they could supply more to whatever the objects of their prayer might be lacking in their faith. 2 Corinthians 1:4 “Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” I believe the power to steadfast intercession flows from a graceful heart that has been delivered from the power of darkness to the understanding of the magnificence of God’s marvelous light. It is the liberty we’ve experienced that drives us to proclaim freedom for those who have been taken captive. If the precepts we have presented here bring radical deliverance to the soul of the readers through the power of the love that Jesus clearly demonstrated to us, then how can we keep it to ourselves? How can a blind person whose eyes have been healed allow those who remain blind to fall into the pit? If there is any reason at all for the pain caused by our past sins to remain vivid in our hearts, it has to be so that we can identify with the target of our intercession. We have peace, the peace of God. We know forgiveness because of His great love. We walk in victory because of His covering anointing that leads triumphantly. We retain the painful memories so that when we see the lost without hope, we don’t give up! We identify with their pain, we feel their hopelessness, we sense their darkness, we can almost taste their bitter tears, but still, we don’t give up! We know life and we know it in great abundance, so we fight on. Their rejection will not deter us, their persecution will not discourage us, their indifference will only make us more determined to continue to battle on behalf of their broken souls. We pray in secret for the manifestation of God’s light to shine in their darkness. We speak prophetic words over their lives that blow away the gloominess that hang over their lives, the same way gales blow away the storms. We divest ourselves of our frailties and limitations so that we can, as empty vessels, be filled with our Lord’s radiance that brings life and peace. We proclaim to a wounded and hurting world that there is hope. We manifest the power of the dominion that has been restored to us in the Name of Jesus over the agents of deceit. We bind the merchants of death by executing over them the Written Word. 1 Corinthians 15:5458 “…‘Death has been swallowed up in victory.’ ‘Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?’ The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” NIV Thank you Lord Jesus for the privilege to serve you in such a wonderful way! House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) is an online ministry providing Holy Spirit revelation of the Word of God. Top of Page Mission Statement To live the reality of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in such a manner that: Death to the things of this world in our lives will be obvious to all, while we proclaim the life of Jesus Christ to every corner of the world; Beginning with the very corners of our world. Purpose Motto Luke 18:8 Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Greetings in the name of Jesus our redeemer. My name is Marcos Marrero, and this is what I believe: I believe that we ought to always thank God for sending Jesus, his only begotten Son to die for our sins. I believe that we ought to praise God always, for He did not leave his only begotten Son hanging on the cross or inside the grave. We ought to worship Him! The creator of the heavens and the earth, who raised Jesus from the dead, and has given Him a name that is above every name. To be found worthy of His calling at His soon return. For He that promised is faithful. Philippians 2:9-11 "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." It is my intention for this web page to make this proclamation: The Word of God is the only TRUTH! Jesus, the messiah of Israel is the revelation of God's TRUTH! The Holy Spirit sanctifies every human who believes the TRUTH, as presented in the gospel of Jesus Christ. II Thessalonians 2:13-14 "But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ." I boldly proclaim that the same Jesus that was taken up to heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, creator of heaven and earth. Will soon return to this earth to set up His kingdom. I boldly proclaim that this same Jesus will judge both the living and the dead. Those who believe God's TRUTH as presented in the gospel of Jesus Christ will be rewarded with the crown of life, and will forever be with the Lord. But those who reject the TRUTH of the gospel of Jesus Christ will be dammed for eternity. II Thessalonians 2:12 "That they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness." I also believe that God will hold every believer accountable who does not strive to have the work of faith with power in their lives. II Thessalonians 1:11 "Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power." It is the demonstration of God's power through faith in the TRUTH of the Word of God, that will convict sinners of their error and cause them to cry out for our God's salvation. Luke 5:8 "When Simon Peter saw it, (the demonstration of God's miracle working power) he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying 'depart from me for I am a sinful man, O Lord!'" It is my desire to present to you in this web page the gospel of Jesus Christ in its true form. Free from the contamination of human fallacies. Knowing, even as I am writing this, that Jesus will hold me accountable for everything that I will be teaching here. James 3:1 "Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly." Lord Jesus! I dedicate this web page to you. I pray for your anointing and guidance. Let those who read its contents be led by your precious Holy Spirit to receive the promises of your abundant life. Amen.
- GODS DWELLING PLACE | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Psalm 43:3 “Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle (dwelling place).” Top of Page GOD’S DWELLING PLACE Psalm 43:3 “Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle (dwelling place).” There has always been oppression from God’s enemy Satan against those whose desire is to do God’s will. In many instances some even experience greater persecution than others. It is like that today as well. But there is a kind of persecution that those who experience it, feel like they have been personally targeted. And it soon becomes obvious to them that in order for them to be delivered from such persecution that they need to be personally vindicated. 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear (endure) it.” It is true that all persecution is such as that which is common to man. But it is also true that some are able to endure more than others, so that the intensity of the persecution may vary from one individual to another. 2 Corinthians 12:7 “And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.” It is also true that for those who are seeking and receiving spiritual revelation from the Lord, in order to keep their pride at bay, the Lord allows them to endure greater persecution than others, but never more than that which they are able to endure. We see this with people who are placed in high positions of spiritual authority. They have to endure greater waves of persecution, in order to keep them from giving into the pride that follows their high position which would cause them to fall. That is why the Bible warns against installing untested novices in high positions of authority, for they will not be able to endure the level of persecution that naturally follows such high positions. Psalm 43:1 “Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!” It is clear from the opening of Psalm forty-three, that the psalmist is dealing with the kind of persecution that has targeted him personally. Here we see an opportunity to learn how to deal with this kind of personal persecution and how to discern the difference between this kind of persecution and that which is common to man. It appears that the origin of this temptation was an ungodly nation who had targeted individuals like the writer of this Psalm for personal attacks. It also involved a deceitful and unjust man who was personally, unjustly, and deceitfully, attacking the writer of this Psalm and those like him. Psalm 42:10 “As with a breaking of my bones, my enemies reproach (revile) me, while they say to me all day long, ‘Where is your God?’” The difference between the temptations which are commonly natural to all believers, and the persecutions that arise out of an ungodly nation is the unleashing of the demonic hordes that are able to afflict a nation who has turned from God to the wickedness of this world. Proverbs 14:34 “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” These demonic hordes target those who are spiritual and who are able to warn the nation of the dangers into which it has fallen. Judge, after judge, after judge, keep ruling against the will of the American people. It seems that no matter what good moral laws we pass, what constitutional amendments we write and vote into law, all it takes is one federal judge to declare it null and void. The high stakes of this spiritual warfare are enormous, for the future of the nation, and to a lesser degree, the future of the world is being decided. Psalm 43:2 “For You are the God of my strength; why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?” Like the psalmist, we end up feeling rejected and left out by God Himself. How can we stand up against these demonic hordes that are running rampant against our nations? Let’s take another look into our opening text. Psalm 43:3 “Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle.” Light, or enlightening truth from God is the only thing that is able to drive away any and all demonic hordes from our midst. However, this powerful force of deliverance needs a dwelling place, a tabernacle in this earth in order to be successful. In order to become a tabernacle for God’s delivering power, we have to enter into His holy hill and abide with Him in His tabernacle. We dealt with this in the previous lesson; according to Psalm 24, only those who have clean hands and a pure heart, who have not lifted up their souls to idols nor sworn deceitfully are able to receive this power. Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.” Now, more than ever before, fellowship with this world system can have disastrous consequences on our ability to powerfully intercede against all the evil forces that war from within our nations governments against the Word of God. So that we see the interaction between the corporal and the individual. The ungodly nation and the deceitful and unjust man. David was just an individual, but he refused to compromise with the sin of idolatry. God rewarded his faithfulness by making him king of the nation of Israel, and David drove that nation into its highest glory. Saul, the first king of Israel became an idolater—for his disobedience was as the sin of witchcraft—and he severely and personally persecuted David aiming to destroy his life. How did David overcome the personal persecution that aimed to destroy him personally and the purpose that God had for David’s life? Psalm 26:4-5 “I have not sat with idolatrous mortals, nor will I go in with hypocrites, I have hated the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked.” Notice how David begins Psalm twenty-six the same way that the other psalmist began Psalm forty-three, Vindicate me, O Lord. Psalm 26:1 “Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity. I have also trusted in the Lord; I shall not slip.” Under king Saul, both the nation and the king persecuted David, for Saul pursued David with Israel’s army for the purpose of killing him. David prayed to the Lord, and I’m paraphrasing: Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have not walked in their idolatry; that is what he meant by I have walked in my integrity. He continued, I did not sit with them, and I will not sit with them, the idolaters and the evil doers. I will not be a part of their wickedness, no matter how much it costs me. David triumphed over the man by refusing to partake in his idolatry, and by faithfully waiting on God and not taking matters into his own hands. He pleased God—and God gave to him the nation of Israel as his reward. The greatest desire of David’s heart was to build a dwelling place for the glory of God to rest while here on the earth! It is safe to say that God had already found a dwelling place here on the earth in the heart of David. Psalm 43:4 “Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy; and on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.” It does not matter whether it is David, the sons of Korah, or us; when we make our God our exceeding joy, renounce all idolatries, and cry out to God for vindication—God’s dwelling place takes residence within us. The anointing oil distilled from the fragrance of our songs of praise breaks off the oppression of the enemy and we are able to enter into the hill of the Lord with thanksgivings in our hearts. Isaiah 61:3 “To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” There is no doubt that the nations of the world that once honored the Gospel of Jesus Christ, have turned their backs on the God of the Gospel; they have decided to follow the god’s of their own making and imaginations. They now live with open reproach and contempt against those of us who have kept the faith of our founding fathers. They have elected for themselves leaders that represent their contempt against us in the way they govern. They have deceived and continued to deceive those who should know better, into keeping them in power. They have no regard for truth. They do not care how much misery they inflict upon those whom they deceive. Their hatred towards God has no bounds since their father is the devil, who was a liar and a murderer from the very beginning. But we know them, we know the spirits that drive them, and we have no part with them. Let the dead bury their own dead. As for us, this is our heartfelt prayer: Oh Lord, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead us. Let Your light and Your truth bring us into Your holy hill and into Your tabernacle. Psalm 25:4-5 “Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all day.” More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

- THE ANOINTED VOW | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Genesis 31:13 “I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed the pillar and where you made a vow to Me. Now arise, get out of this land, and return to the land of Top of Page THE ANOINTED VOW Genesis 31:13 “I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed the pillar and where you made a vow to Me. Now arise, get out of this land, and return to the land of your family.” There are many facets to God’s anointing and to the power that flows out of His anointing, in this lesson we will deal with the timing aspect of God’s anointing. Galatians 4:4 “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law.” If you have been a Christian for a while, you know that the fulfillment of God’s promises always follows a clearly prescribed path. God gives us the promise, we believe in the promise that He gives us, and at the appropriate time we see its fulfillment take place in our lives. I believe that there is an aspect of God’s anointing, be it personal or corporal, that follows the same principle. Whenever we see a revival taking place, whether it be in a church, a city, or even a nation, it is the result of an anointed vow that persons made in the past concerning the areas where the revival is taking place. Keep this in mind, God always answers anointed prayers, even long after we have forgotten that we prayed them. I had a vision of the rapture that transformed everything in my Christian way of life back in February 12, 1989. As a result of the vision I searched desperately for a way to understand prophecy. Eight years to the very date, the book of Revelation finally made sense to me. I even wrote a book about it, it is called Man’s Final Destiny , where I put end time prophecy into the proper and understandable perspective as it is portrayed in the book of Revelation. I had gathered and compiled a great deal of notes and references while I endeavor to understand prophecy, along with those many notes I had a notebook where I had chronicled past daily reading of Scripture and the notes that I took while I was reading them. As I started to put those implements away since I now had the information that had eluded me all those years, I opened the notebook of past prayers to see where to store it, when an entry dated February 12 caught my eye, since this was the anniversary of my vision of the rapture. It turns out that years earlier before I had the vision of the rapture, I had read a Scripture in the book of Revelation and could not understand what it meant. I wrote the Scripture in the notebook and next to it I wrote an entry where I asked the Lord, would He please give me the ability to understand prophecy. So here I had evidence of a sincere prayer that I had prayed years earlier that I had forgotten, and God made sure that I would know that it was an answer to that simple prayer that I had prayed earlier by making the events to take place in the same calendar day. Both the vision of the rapture that compelled me to search and the day when it all finally made sense to me, fell on the anniversary of that simple anointed prayer. Genesis 28:17-19 “And he was afraid and said, ‘How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!’ Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it. And he called the name of that place Bethel (house of God); but the name of that city had been Luz previously.” Then Jacob proceeded to make a vow before the Lord, and it was in answer to the anointed vow that Jacob had made earlier that has our opening text where God tells him to, 'Now arise, get out of this land, and return to the land of your family'. The prayer, the vow, the anointing, in faith believing in God’s promises; it is all a process, and a process always requires the passing of time. But to be sure, no matter how long it takes, whether we remember or have forgotten, God never forgets, for it is the presence of the anointing that serves as watchmen that are always there to remind Him. Isaiah 62:6-7 “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” We see the same principle at work in the verse above. Jerusalem’s destiny is to be the city of the Great King, for Jesus will rule the earth from there during His thousand-year reign, when He will make Jerusalem to become a praise in the earth. Now during Isaiah’s day that future reign was about twenty-seven hundred years away, we are almost there now, but all this time the anointing has not ceased to call out to God to perform it. In the same manner there is an anointing that covers each one of us who believes in His promises, that anointing is continuously calling out to God to perform that which He has promised to do for us. 1 John 2:20 “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things (intuitively).” How do we sort all this out? We need to understand the process! 2 Timothy 1:9 “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.” First notice how Paul makes it clear that the holy calling is not according to our own works, but according to His own purpose and grace. Grace here means His gifts for us and that before time itself ever began. Step number one: We need to get saved! We need to understand that even before the creation, we were destined, and created to fulfill a purpose, His own purpose. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory (our destiny) of God.” But since we all have inherited a corrupt nature, we need to get saved that is we need to become born again of an incorruptible nature. Once we become saved, we are now qualified once again to fulfill His destiny for us, which when we do, it is all to the glory of God. Colossians 1:12 “Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.” Step number two: We need to answer the holy calling! Matthew 22:14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.” The only ones chosen are the ones who answer the call, not just in word but in deed as well. Matthew 6:10 “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” We answer the holy calling when we consecrate ourselves to bring about God’s kingdom upon this earth and His good and perfect will in our lives. Step number three: We make a holy vow before the Lord! Deuteronomy 12:26 “Only the holy things which you have (our holy calling), and your vowed offerings (our lives), you shall take and go to the place which the Lord chooses (which is His destiny for us). His salvation for us qualifies us to answer His holy calling, and in order for us to perform His holy calling in our lives, we need to take an oath of office if you will, and the only thing that we can bring into this oath is our positive answer to His call and a surrender of our lives to fulfill it. As we make a vow before the Lord, the Lord seals it with His anointing oil, which then continuously calls out to God to perform in us that which He originally destined us to be, as long as we stay the course. Step number four: He leads, and we follow! I pleasantly remember those early days of our Christian youth, when both, my wife and I would fall before the altar of our church whenever the Holy Spirit was moving in our midst, and there we would cry out to God: we will go where you want us to go, over mountains, over plains, over seas, and we will do what you want us to do! Other than to teach His Word, I never got any specific assignment or thing that I was to do, I just served in whatever area there was a need. But as I look back now I can see how important those early day vows were to our Lord. For it was there that the Lord placed His anointing over our lives that still directs our paths to this very day. Step number five: Forsake the world, Get out of this land! As the Lord told Jacob. Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult (confined) is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” The allure of this world system is ease; live it up. Why should you suffer confinement instead of comfort? Keep it simple and avoid as much tribulation and persecution as you possible can. This so call gospel radiates out of many churches today, but Jesus warned us about this false gospel, not to fall for it. Matthew 7:15-16 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?” Remember how the Lord told us that in this world we would have tribulation; so that the confinement of the true Gospel is the world’s aim, so that if we are suffering tribulation for the stand that we take, we know then that we are entering in the narrow gate and following the road of difficulties for that is His good and perfect will for us. - THE VERACITY OF GOD'S WORD | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Matthew 4:3-4 “Now when the tempter came to Him, he said: ‘If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.’ Top of Page THE VERACITY OF GOD’S WORD Matthew 4:3-4 “Now when the tempter came to Him, he said: ‘If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.’ But He answered and said, ‘It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”’” During the time of the temptation of Jesus after He had fasted for forty days and forty nights, the enemy came to test the trustworthiness of God’s immutable Word. I want to share with you the insight of what was taking place during this encounter between The Word and the accuser. This is an extremely important lesson. Our understanding of what was taking place behind the scenes if you will, will greatly help us to overcome the accuser when he comes knocking on our door to challenge what we believe. I have seen the faith of some young believers wrecked by their failure to understand the gimmicks that Satan employs when challenging the veracity of the Word of God. My hope is that by exposing some of the enemy’s tactics, that it might prepare you to take a firm stand against the devil’s perversion of the Word of God when you are confronted by them. Luke 20: 17-18 “Then He looked at them and said, ‘What then is this that it is written: “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone”’? Whoever falls on that stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.” When the devil challenged Jesus to turn the stones into bread, at first appearance, in the natural scheme of things, it appears as if the enemy is tempting the flesh that was hungry after a long fast, but spiritually speaking there was a lot more going on here than we see at first glance. As we can see from our Scripture in Luke, the stone is representative of the Word of God and it’s power to break those who fall on it, and grind into powder those upon whom it falls. So that in essence the spirit behind Satan’s challenge was “to turn the stone” (The immutable Word of God) into something soft and common like bread that you eat today and is gone tomorrow, it wreaks of compromise. In other words, the enemy was saying, if you are the Son of God you can do whatever you want to with the Word (implying that He could change it). Hence the answer that Jesus responded with, “it is written”. Which brings me to the first application of this lesson in regards to the challenges that we face today when it comes to our faith and trust in the Word of God. How do we know that the Bible is the true Word of God? It is written! I hear people tell me that the Bible was written by men, and that other men decided which of the many books that were written were made part of the Bible, as if God was somehow limited by the powers of men. 2 Peter 1:20-21 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation (It was never left to men as to what to write or what to include and reject), for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke (men spoke from God) as they were moved (into action) by the Holy Spirit.” Satan wants us to believe that men, fallen creatures as we are, are incapable of producing truth, and that is true if men are left to their own devices. But the Bible does not credit men with producing truth, all the credit goes to the Holy Spirit of God. And just as God chose the womb of one of the many virgins of Israel to give birth to the Word in Carne, God chose and moved in the spiritual womb of men and women of God to bring forth the Written Word as well. 1 Peter 2:4-5 “Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” The one thing that unbelievers can never comprehend is how the Word becomes alive (a living stone) inside the ones who believe in Jesus as their savior, since they haven’t experienced the transformation that a born-again believer experiences when he/she becomes a living stone. We become like living stones when we partake in simple faith the truth of the Gospel. What is hard for me to understand is how believers that have tasted of the sweetness of the Living Rock that gushes forth to satisfy their taste for righteousness, can overtime allow the bitter waters of the enemy’s poison to weaken their trust in the truth that they have tasted in their born again experience. Galatians 1:6-7 “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Gospel of Christ.” Which brings as to the second temptation that Jesus had to endure on our behalf. Matthew 4:5-6 “Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, ‘If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: “He shall give His angels charge over You,” and, “In their hands they shall bear You up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.”’” In the natural the temptation is for Jesus to be presumptuous, but if you look a little deeper the truth of this temptation is the perversion of God’s Word. Once a believer has experienced the truth of God’s Word, the enemy’s aim is to pervert its application by treating the Word as mechanical in nature instead of a living relational part of our everyday lives. Yes, there may be a time when God tells you to trust Him to the point of doing something so foolish that it defies human logic. But to the person that is in a personal relationship with the Living Word there will be no doubt in their hearts. Jesus simply responded to this temptation by saying: “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt (test) the Lord your God.’” Matthew 4:7 One does not have to test true relational friendship, because by definition, it has already been tested when the weaker one chose to put all their trust in the power of the stronger one. So that when a believer puts his/her trust solely in the Word for their eternal salvation, how much more can they trust the Word for the less important matters of everyday life. Galatians 3:1 “O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?” So that once we know the greater truth that Jesus was crucified for our sins, the goal of the enemy is to separate us from daily trusting in Him as we continuously work out our relationship with that same truth. Basically, what I am saying is that if we are willing to trust His Word for our eternal salvation, then how much more can we trust in His Word for our everyday life. Matthew 4:8-9 “Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, ‘All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.’” When Adam was first created, he was given dominion over all the kingdoms of the world that were to come in all their glory. When Adam failed to trust the Word of God that said that he was good even though he was naked, Adam forfeited his dominion to the devil who caused him to know that he was naked. In other words, he believed the lies of the devil over the truth of God’s Word and that kept him from partaking of the tree of life. When the devil tempted Jesus who is God the Word the third time, his aim was to have Jesus the Word declare him, the devil, good, in exchange for Jesus not having to bear the sins of Adam and of his descendants through the cruel death of the cross in order to regain the dominion that Adam had lost when he failed to trust in the Word of God. So basically, what the devil said to Jesus was, I’ll give you the dominion that Adam lost to me in exchange for you declaring me good even though I am perverted, you have power to declare me clean so that You do not have to die on the cross. Matthew 4:10 “Then Jesus said to him, ‘Away with you, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.”’” So that in the temptations that Jesus suffered we can clearly see the progression of the devil’s machinations, and they all involve different levels of perversion to the Word of Truth. First the devil wants the Stone Truths or the foundational principles of the Word of God to be turn into the soft bread of compromise, so that the Word that the believers profess won’t crush his head. Secondly he wants us to have religion instead of relationship with the Word of God. In religion or ritualistic confines the devil is able to turn the Word that frees us into cold frigid rules that suffocate the very life that the Word was meant to give us. Thirdly, the devil offers an easy way out to the uncompromising believer that will not deviate from God’s foundational principles and walks in the freedom of the spirit filled life, by trying to make the road that the believer has to walk harder than it is, so that he can tempt him to receive perverted power that does not come from God. Unfortunately some who originally ministered in the Word of Truth have given up the difficulties of the narrow road of hardships for the temporary glory of the third temptation, the glorification of self. Jesus did not mess around when faced with that third temptation, immediately He uttered the words: “Away with you, Satan!” All humans are influenced by spirits that want to sway us into doing good or bad. There is always something or someone in the spiritual realm that wants us to do their bidding. The only protection that we have against those bad and unprofitable influences is the Truth of the Word of God. The Word of God is the filter that protects our spirit and soul from contamination. The greater our knowledge of the Word of Truth the finer the mesh becomes in the filter. Do not let the spirit of the world that continuously belittles the Word of God rob you of the many benefits that Jesus has provided for us in his many great and precious promises. 2 Peter 1:3-4 “As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him (the Word made flesh) who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises (in God’s Word), that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption (perversion) that is in the world through lust.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- THE FEAR OF THE LORD | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) asks what is the fear of the Lord? There are different levels of fear that are based on the different experiences of fear that we’ve encountered throughout our lives that will limit our understanding of what the fear of the Lord truly is. Top of Page THE FEAR OF THE LORD Ecclesiastes 12:13 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.” What is the fear of the Lord? I remember back in June 1976, when I first became a Christian, wondering what it meant to fear God back then, after all I was saved by responding to the Gospel, where Jesus forgave all my sins and I was made aware of His love for me. But every time that I read in the Bible about fearing God I felt that I was missing something, then I heard somebody teach that to fear God meant to respect God, and I thought that made more sense, but still I felt that perhaps something was missing. Thirty seven years later and I feel that I have a better understanding of what the fear of the Lord is, but I know still that there is so much more that I need to learn about God if I ever want to get close to have a deeper understanding of the true meaning of that phrase, why is that? God reveals Himself to humans in different levels and at different times, and the more that we experience the revelation of God and at different levels, the greater that our understanding will be of what the fear of the Lord is to us personally. Take a young person that goes to war, and while there in the front lines experiences the death of soldiers around him, and in some way he is convinced that he will not come out alive, but yet somehow he survives, that young person will have an extremely different understanding of what fear is, when compared let’s say to a person that has never come that close to the reality of death. So that there are different levels of fear that are based on the different experiences of fear that we’ve encountered throughout our lives that will limit our understanding of what the fear of the Lord truly is. Let us see if we can analyze the fears that we might not have personally faced in our own past, through the experiences of others in Scripture. Hebrews 12:21 “And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, ‘I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.’” I find that in the deepest level of our souls, where the fear that resides deep within us is, we have also the capacity to experience the highest level of human elation possible, so that both fear and elation are there together. I believe that what brings the greatest level of fear upon a human is to be exposed to the glory of God, and it is that same glory that brings about the greatest elation into the very core of that born again believer. When I experienced the rapture in a vision back in 1989, my body was so afraid when I saw Jesus in the fullness of His glory, that it trembled so much that the cells in my body felt like they were becoming unglued, for my body was gripped with such an incredible fear, yet at the same time my spirit was shouting at the top of his voice, Hallelujah, He kept His promised. I wrote the entire vision in the introduction page in my book Man’s Final Destiny, in the books section of the houseoffaithministries.org So that at the same instant that I was experiencing the greatest fear that I had ever felt, I’ve also experienced the greatest elation possible. So that for those of us who believe, fear and elation kind of go together, for with the fear-experience comes the opportunity to receive a higher level of rev-elation. Remember that it was after experiencing the terrifying fear that caused him to trembled, that Moses received the ten commandments along with the rest of the law. Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Do you see Proverbs 9:10 through a different light now? I know I do! Ecclesiastes 12:14 “For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.” I believe that the next level of fear that trouble many of us has to do with God’s judgments over the works of our hands, since many of us have very different definitions of what the right thing to do is. How do we deal with the fear that our actions or lack of actions bring to our hearts when we view them through the prism of facing the judgment of God someday? Hebrews 4:12-13 “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” The source of the fear of the judgment of our works or deeds, emanates from all those secret things that we have done and believe are hidden and out of sight, and when we are reminded that one day they will all be exposed, it gives us a great deal of consternation to say the least. How do we deal with this fear over the judgment of our works? We need to expose the motive for our actions to the light of the Word of God. Remember that our righteousness are like filthy rags to God, and our deeds do not merit any better, for as it is written: Romans 3:12 “They have all turned aside; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one.” So that if our righteousness before God can only stand on the foundation of His grace, so do our works as well. So that everything that I do that is right, can only come as the result of His grace working through me, Scripturally speaking, and everything else I must bring to the cross as well, and ask the Lord to forgive them. So that in everything Jesus gets the glory; He gets the glory when I do what is right, for I can only do what is right through the power of His grace working in me, and when I confess all my faults, misdeeds, and all my failures before Him, He gets the glory as well, for only He is faithful and just to forgive me of all my trespasses when I confess them before Him, that is what frees me from the fear of judgment. 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” In a perfect love relationship, there are no secrets; if we know that Jesus truly loves us and that He is willing to forgive us of any and all sins that we confess before Him, so that we can start fresh every morning, then we know that there is not going to be any surprises on judgment day. So that next time that the devil tries to condemn you by bringing to your memory some past sins that you have already confessed to the Lord, and you feel that spirit of fear rising up within you, recall to your mind this next Scripture and have hope: Lamentations 3:20-23 “My soul still remembers and sinks within me. This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” The next level of fear that we are dealing with in this lesson is respect. Hebrews 5:14 “But solid food belongs to those who are of full age (mature), that is, those who by reason of use (practice) have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” Respect has to do with assuming responsibilities for our actions, if we just think, well if I do wrong I’ll just repent and go on my merry way. An unruly child is disciplined by the rod, a child that listens however, though still a child, can receive discipline through words. The most grievous parts of our sins to God is when we injure others by them, thereby causing damage to God’s goods, that is when God will time-out those who refuse discipline, and at the root of refusing to be disciplined by the Word of God is the lack of respect for it. Galatians 6:7-8 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” He who sows to the flesh will live in fear, fear of God, fear of others, fear of his actions, fear of the future, fear of judgment, for all these fears come as the results of corruption within, and may someday bring that person to the point where they become incorrigible. He who sows to the Spirit is continuously guided by the counsel of the Word of God, his fear or respect for it, drive his actions to the point where he eventually matures into the place of peace that our Lord has reserved for him. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- SPIRITUAL ORDER | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 2 Thessalonians 3:7 “For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not disorderly among you.” Top of Page SPIRITUAL ORDER 2 Thessalonians 3:7 “For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not disorderly among you.” The reality is that today many Christians do not really understand spiritual order, and because of their lack of knowledge in this subject they needlessly suffer lack. The kingdom of heaven is a spiritual kingdom, and those of us who are born of the Spirit of God have been called to navigate within the spiritual order that governs His heavenly kingdom. As anyone who has traveled to an unknown destination knows, if you do not have a good set of directions and a reliable map, and a common understanding of how to read and follow a set of directions, chances are that you will get lost and suffer the loss of time and resources. It is the same as we travel in our spiritual journey, we are traveling to an unknown destination, unknown to us that is, for God knows where He is taking us, but if we do not understand the spiritual order that governs our journey we will not be much help to God in Him getting us there on time. That is why we are commanded that in all things we must follow the path of the spiritual order that God has foreordained. 1 Corinthians 14:40 “Let all things be done decently and in order.” In our opening text Paul tells the Thessalonians that they know how they ought to follow them, because of the order with which he taught them. 2 Thessalonians 3:6 “But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw from every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us.” Notice how Paul said, we command you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, this was not a request, this is how vitally important this matter is, for spiritual disorder will frustrate the plan of God for our lives. The flow of the authority of the Word of God, like electricity traveling through an electrical circuit, follows a clearly defined path that works perfectly as long as the orderly flow is maintained, any deviation causes the flow to trip the switch that immediately shuts off the power. Let me see if I can, with the help of the Holy Spirit, lay out some of the basic rules that govern this spiritual flow so that we can learn how to maintain spiritual order in our lives, and thereby not hinder the plan and purpose that God has ordained for us to fulfill. Isaiah 55:10-11 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” God uses the illustration of how the rain and the snow that melts and waters the earth and accomplishes the purpose for which He sends it, to reveal how the spiritual power of His Word functions. He sends out His Word as a flow of energy and those who partake, that is, come in agreement with His Word and live their lives accordingly, will fulfill the purpose for which they were created through the power that the energy of the Word of God provides them with. So that the number one rule is: Follow the directions that the Word of God provides, that is, if you want to fulfill the purpose for which He created you. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ (the flowing power of the anointed One) who strengthens me.” So that if I believe that my life is not an accident, but that God purposed me to be born and assigned to me His good plan and purpose for me to fulfill through the power that He provides, then that leads me to: Rule number two: I have to believe that God has a divine purpose for my life, and that I am not just here to mow the grass and tend the garden. 2 Thessalonians 2:13 “But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.” It is belief in this truth that brings spiritual order into our personal lives. That is we connect with the energy that flows from heaven above, the Word of God, and it is that energy that empowers us to change course, to turn away from the vanities of this life that perishes, and to aim for the goal of faith which is eternal life with Jesus, to be with Him we must be like Him, and that is what sanctification does, it prepares us for eternity. Spiritual order also functions corporally, as in within the family unit and within the church. So that we also need to understand the path that spiritual order follows corporally so that we can function properly within the family unit and within the church, which is our spiritual family. 1 Corinthians 11:3 “But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.” The above verse can be controversial to those who do not understand the flow of spiritual order. But we need to know that God has set the institution of holy matrimony as the foundation of the family unit, and as a type for the relationship between Jesus and His church. So that if I come with the mindset of natural understanding and say, I am a man therefore I am the head of the woman, I immediately negate the spiritual fact that in Christ, I, as a man, am the bride of Christ also. So that within the natural process, spiritual authority or order, flows from God to Christ, from Christ to man, from man to woman, from woman to children, but from the spiritual perspective all authority and order flows out of the unchanging and uncompromising Word of God, to which all things owe their allegiance to, be it physical or spiritual. So that those who deviate from the natural order, that is, refrain from following in the tenants prescribed by the Word of God, fall into disorder, just as much as those who though in the proper natural position deviate from their responsibilities to the Word of God, and to their own peril fall into disorder themselves. Ephesians 3:14-15 “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven (spiritual order) and earth (physical order) is named.” Paul writes that He is fully committed to the principle of spiritual order by bowing his knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, do you see the progression? But then he adds, to whom the whole family, natural and spiritual belong. We see in the natural how this principle works, when the family unit breaks down everything is prone to disorder, but we also witness that when the family unit, though intact, rejects or ignores the principles in the Word of God, that disorder rules there as well. So that the key is in our understanding how the principle of spiritual order works and all that is at stake, for the results will be either order or disorder. So that our third rule is made obvious by the fact that in spiritual order, God, His Word, and the Holy Spirit are the only One’s who are perfect, and who perfectly agree, and all that follows within that spiritual order must comply fully to the tenants of the Word of God, and if not, their position is nullified immediately and ceded to the next in line that believes and applies the Word of God. 2 Thessalonians 2:15 “Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle.” How do I know if my house is in the proper spiritual order? 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 “Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.” Notice how the order is reversed, Jesus and then the Father, that means that the Lord wants us to look upward to see if we are conforming with God’s plan for us, the plan that was made available to us by our Lord Jesus Christ and the good hope and grace that comforts our hearts, for that is what establishes us to do His good word and works. If there is enmity in your heart against His Word for you or the work that He has called you to do, chances are that you are out of His spiritual order and lack the power to fulfill His calling for your life. Isaiah 30:15 “For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: ‘In returning (repentance) and rest (in His promises) you shall be saved (delivered); in quietness and confidence shall be your strength.’ But you would not.” Would you? It is better to be hot or cold than to be indifferent, if indifference is not what you are dealing with right now, weigh the cost of your salvation, figure out the benefits of spiritual order in your life against the cost of disorder and chaos, which is more profitable to you now? Which is more profitable to you in the age to come? The Bible is full of characters that sold their future inheritance for a morsel of bread, and every single one of them live and died to regret it. I hope that is not you my friend, for I feel as I am writing this, that your weariness is weighing you down somehow . 2 Thessalonians 3:13 “But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.” Do the right thing! 2 Thessalonians 3:16 “Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

- THE POWER OF GOD | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 1 Corinthians 1:18 “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” Top of Page THE POWER OF GOD 1 Corinthians 1:18 “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” There are two things in life that affect all humans: Wisdom and Power. If we define Power as ruling authority, we are all under the power of authorities that rule over us, no matter what nation we live in. If you are alive somewhere in this world, you are living under somebody’s law/rule. And if we define Wisdom as the ability of those who have power to rule over us, to do it wisely and for the betterment of those over whom they govern, then, there are a lot of foolish people in power. It has been my experience for most of my adult life that those who have power to rule over my actions are always more interested in meeting their own needs instead of mine. Since God is the Almighty, and all wisdom and power originate from Him, it behooves us to understand how the power of an Almighty God is always under the control of His wisdom. How many times do we as humans have wished that God would do something to some fool out there that is out and about doing harm to others through the power that they posses over them? Luke 9:54 “And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, ‘Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?’” If we ever wished that, I guess we were not the first. But we can learn a lot about God’s wisdom from the answer that Jesus gave His disciples. Luke 9:55 “But He turned and rebuked them, and said, ‘You do not know what manner of spirit (influence) you are of (or under). For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.’ And they went to another village.” Here we learn that wisdom is a spirit or an influence, and that foolishness is a spiritual influence as well that can bring much harm. We also learn that the wisdom of God saves men’s life from destruction, and that power in the wrong hands can bring about the destruction of men through the spirit of foolishness working through them. James 3:13 “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works (actions) are done in the meekness of wisdom.” So that the wisdom that comes from above, the wisdom that controls the power that has been given to those of us who believe, has a safety that overrides the trigger, this safety is called meekness, and it assures us that the power given to us will not be abused. James 3:15 “This wisdom (foolishness, also known as earthly wisdom) does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.” The so call wisdom of this world, has no safety on its trigger, for it is activated by the human senses, and it goes off when you least expect it. 1 Corinthians 1:20 “Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? Now we understand why deliverance plays such a big role in the ability of Christians to exercise God’s power here on the earth. Worldly Christians whose nature is governed by the sentiments of their flesh, can cause a lot of harm to those whom God is trying to save. Were not the same Samaritans that rejected Jesus at first, that had some disciples wanting to destroy them, that later received the Gospel with joy when Phillip preached to them about the resurrected Christ? Which brings us back to the mechanism that controls the trigger of the power of God that has been vested on those of us who believe: 1 Corinthians 1:18 “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” So that the power of God that has been vested on those of us who believe, has to be activated through the cross, something that seems foolish to our carnal mind, for in the cross we see nothing but weakness and death. Let us ask one very basic question first: What kind of power from God has been vested on those of us who believe? Psalm 149:6-9 “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute on them the written judgment—this honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord!” Now if we look at Psalm 149 from the earthly wisdom that God calls foolishness, the church would be an aggressive entity declaring war on the unbelieving nations and warring against them in order to overcome them and to enforce our rule over them. To achieve that we would have to kill the people who oppose our rule, and destroy the nations that do not comply with our Christian doctrine, if that was the church’s doctrine. But if we look at Psalm 149 through the filter of the cross, we find what Jesus taught us, and which is the real doctrine of the church: For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them. How do we rightly judge the power of God that has been vested on us through the filter of the cross? Ephesians 6:12 “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts (armies) of wickedness in the heavenly places.” The cross opens our eyes to the spiritual reality that our power from God is not to be used against humankind, but rather, against the spiritual wickedness that oppresses humankind. We are to be liberators, not oppressors like them. How does the church implement the power of God that it has been endowed with, for the liberation of humankind? First we identify the enemy; who are the nations, who are the peoples, and who are their kings and who are their nobles, that we are to subdue in accordance with Psalm 149? The kingdom of darkness has a structure, just like the world has a structure wherein the nations fit together. The nations in the world have armies and police units to enforce the rules that empower their rulers over the peoples they govern, it is the same in the kingdom of darkness. It is against the kingdom of darkness that all Christians are called to enforce mastery over, to defeat their nations, and to inflict punishment in their demonic populace, and to do so by capturing their leaders and their nobles and binding them with fetters of iron: that is, to execute on them the written judgment, God’s Word! In summary, we have been empowered by God to fight against a spiritual army of wickedness that resides in the heavenly places, an invisible realm that requires of us to have spiritual discernment. The rulers of this demonic army hide in the darkness of man’s ignorance of their existence, and continuously promote hatred and discord between the human race, so that we are always fighting and blaming one another for the wrong that is all around us, unawares that all the chaos and mayhem is always the result of demonic instigations. John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the and the truth shall make you free.” Truth is enlightenment, if I know that my human adversaries are not my real enemies, then the power of God is activated within me in order for me to defeat the real enemy, which is the spiritual stronghold that rules over my human enemies and causes them to contend against me. So that now I am not just waging war against spiritual forces for the sake of overcoming them, by I see a loftier goal, the liberation of my human comrades who unknowingly have become a weapon of our real enemy, the devil, who manipulates them from the kingdom of darkness. How do I do that? By following and executing God’s written judgments. Luke 6:27-28 “But I say to you who hear: Love your (human) enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.” And here is where the cross comes in: Luke 6:36 “Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.” When the mercy that God revealed on the cross towards us humans is our motive, the safety is removed from the trigger of God’s power, for He knows that our aim now is to liberate humanity and not to conquer them. 1 Corinthians 1:23 “But we preach Christ crucified…” The two-edge sword of God’s Word is to be applied both ways, first personally, and then within the Christian community of saints, the local church, that aims to bring deliverance into their areas of influence. Nothing that we ever do as believers, spiritually or in everyday life, can ever be accepted by God except that it dies first on the cross, for its death on the cross of Christ will reveal the true motive behind it; and if the motive for our actions is God’s motive, then it will be resurrected by God and used as a lethal weapon that utterly annihilates the enemy. Colossians 2:15 “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He (Jesus) made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (the cross).” So that true deliverance begins within the motives and intents of our hearts, and as we open our hearts to the introspection of God’s Word, Jesus faithfully takes to the cross all our selfishness and foolish desires, and He nails them there for all to see. But it is there, as our earthly desires languish on the painful and slow death of the cross, that our spiritual eyes are opened to the reality of life, and our priorities begin to change. All of the sudden this world begins to lose its luster and those things that seemed so real to us at one time in life, now look more like refuse and we wonder what in the world it was that ever attracted us to them. It is when a community of saints reach that point of maturity in their personal lives that communal intercession begins to take shape. As our Lord begins to move in them and through them as a single body of believers that begins to shed light upon the darkness that engulfs their community there revival begins to take place and the scales fall from the eyes of those who were walking in darkness as they are exposed to the enlightenment of the power of God, fulfilling our last Scripture. Colossians 1:27 “To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) shows you how to let God direct your life by saying this prayer out loud. Spanish version. Amén Volver a Oraciones empoderadoras
