- THE END OF DAYS | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presentns a teaching on Lamentations 4:18 “They tracked our steps so that we could not walk in our streets, our end was near; our days were over, for our end had come.” Top of Page THE END OF DAYS Lamentations 4:18 “They tracked our steps so that we could not walk in our streets, our end was near; our days were over, for our end had come.” Throughout the history of mankind there has always been a group of people fascinated with the end of things, the end of days, and with the end of time. Maybe it is because we experience the death of things on a daily basis, we are not so much aware of it, those of us who live in modern cities that provide us with the comfort of buying things that have already been killed and packaged, but think back to earlier times. I remember when I was a kid growing up in Cuba, even though we lived over the ocean waters, for our house was built on stilts, we still raised chickens on the back deck of the house, and every time my mom was going to fix chicken for dinner one of them had to die. We kept live fish in the well tank of our boat that was tied to the front of the house, and every time that we were going to have fish for dinner, we went to the tank, got the fish out, killed it and cooked it. We did that with pigs and turkeys that we raised for special occasions as well, I even remember a goat that we raised once, it chewed through the wooden boards on the floor and fell through and ended up hanging itself on the chain that it had tied around its neck while its hind legs were dangling over the water. So that the experience of the cycles of life and death, beginning and endings, are well seated within our DNA. But how does the Bible define what we call the end of days, not just generally as of the end of the age, but our personal end as well? Psalm 39:4 “Lord, make me to know my end, and what is the measure of my days, that I may know how frail I am.” David’s prayer gives us great insight as to why we humans are either fascinated, fearful, or willfully indifferent, to the awareness of the end of things as we know them. How many times are we reminded of our mortality? How many times do we ignore it? At the heart of David’s prayer was the cognitive reality that to ignore our personal mortality reduces our ability to prepare ourselves, and our posterity, for the end of the age that will one day come upon the final generation of humans that will live to see that day. David strongly implies that knowing about his personal mortality as well as the duration of his days while here on the earth, would make him more sensitive to the frailty of life. Now here is the implication, it is extremely hard for us humans to really value human life if we are not fully aware of the value of our own life. How do we react to news that a flood or a landslide killed hundreds of people on a far away distant land? First thought that comes to mind is, those things are always happening to those people out there. How do we react when a tragedy like that happens in our own neck of the woods? New York city is still three thousand miles from where I lived in September 11, 2001 and yet I felt, and I still feel, like I was right there when that tragedy happened. Now why is that? Because when we are personally affected by an event that causes many lives to perish, their death becomes more real to us. And that is the idea that Psalm 39 is trying to convey to us. Listen to what it was that caused David to ask God to give him the revelation of: Make me to know my end. Psalm 39:2-3 “I was mute with silence, I held my peace (became indifferent) even from good; and my sorrow was stirred up. My heart was hot within me; while I was musing (just thinking about it), the fire burned. Then I spoke with my tongue (took action).” Wow! What a powerful description of what moved him. First David said to himself, I am going to keep my mouth shut, I don’t care if it is good or bad, I’m just going to stay out of it. Isn’t that what so many of us do today? Society is going to hell in a hand basket all around us, so many are dying of drug overdose, so many others are shot dead on a daily basis, and well, we just feel so helpless that we tell ourselves to ignore it, for after all, there is nothing that we can really do about it, or so we feel. Then David said that his sorrow was stirred up, what was it that caused David’s sorrow to be moved? He said that while he was just sitting around thinking about the situation and doing nothing, the fire burned. There are two ways to interpret that, one is that while we sit around and muse and do nothing, the fire continuous to rage and consume all around us unopposed, inflicting a heavy toll on society. The other way to interpret that is, that while we are witnessing the heavy toll on life that our indifference is in some way aiding and abetting, it is what causes our inward fire to burn that moves us to do something. What David did was he prayed. Prayer is recognition that we ourselves are unable to change the situation by our own mortal means. It is amazing to me that David in his prayer did not ask God to give him strength to deal with the situation that he was too weak to handle, instead he asked God to reveal to him his weaknesses to the utter most, for this is what David say: That I may know how frail I am. This is so amazing, because it defies human logic. How is me knowing how weak in reality I really am is going to solve the situation? There is a Scripture parallel that applies here I believe, and it is found in the entire book of the prophet Habakkuk. Habakkuk 1:2-4 “O Lord, how long shall I cry, and You will not hear? Even cry out to You, ‘Violence!’ And you will not save. Why do you show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; there is strife, and contention arises. Therefore the law is powerless, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; therefore perverse judgment proceeds.” Habakkuk was a righteous Israelite man who lived among the sinful people of the nation of Israel of that time. He is praying to God, and he is asking God why He is not answering his prayer, Habakkuk tells God that he is even pointing out the wrongdoing that he sees when he cries out publicly, Violence! Back in Bible days it was customary to cry out publicly, or to publish, when something bad was happening that could affect those around them. In the case of a leprous person having to pass near anyone else that was not infected with leprosy, the victims of leprosy were required by law to cry out loudly, Unclean! Unclean! To warn those around then not to come in close contact with them. In the same manner when a sin was being perpetrated against another in the nation of Israel, it was required of the Israelites to expose the wrong doing publicly, and that is what Habakkuk is saying to God he did, to no avail. Then Habakkuk says this to God: Why do you show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble? Basically, Habakkuk is saying, Lord if You are not going to answer my prayer of action against lawlessness, why then do you allow me to witness so much evil? After all, if you do not answer my prayer, there is absolutely nothing that I can do about the wrong that is all around me. However, God is trying to teach Habakkuk what David already knew and was teaching us on Psalm 39. Habakkuk 1:5 “Look among the nations and watch—be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it was told you.” So, God takes the prophet Habakkuk into a vision of the near future and reveals to him what dreadful end the nation of Israel has coming because of all their sinfulness that they refused to repent from. Habakkuk is in shock when he witnesses first-hand what the utter devastation of all those around him will be. However what troubles him the most is the way in which God executes judgment on Israel. I guess Habakkuk expected some holy and righteous nation to be used by God to judge his faltering nation, but instead God uses a nation that is far worse, as far as sinfulness and cruelty is, than Israel ever was, to judge them. This is how God describes the nation that He will use to judge Israel for all their sinfulness that they have committed against Him. Habakkuk 1:7 “They are terrible and dreadful; their judgment and their dignity proceed from themselves.” So that Habakkuk’s prayer changes in emphasis, instead of saying how bad the Israelites really are that lived all around him, now he is asking God how can you use a nation that is far worse than Israel could have ever been to judge us? And then this is what Habakkuk says: Habakkuk 2:1 “I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected.” Then God takes Habakkuk into a vision of the future end of days, when the entire earth, along with all the nations, will be judged by God for all their ungodly acts that they have committed against Him. The experience is so traumatic that Habakkuk finally realizes that the judgments of God for the end of days are so completely dreadful, that he now understands how frail human life truly is, and instead of feelings of inadequacy and helplessness, or complaining about all the wrong that was all around him, instead he realizes that the only hope for all humans lies in God’s mercy. Habakkuk 3:2 “O Lord, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy.” David’s prayer was: Make me to know my end, and what is the measure of my days, that I may know how frail I am. Notice how the prayer of Habakkuk mirrors what the prayer of David was, Revive Your work in the midst of the (my) years. I believe that there are no humans that have ever experienced how dreadful the judgments of the end of days are, and who have not prayed this prayer in earnest: Dear Lord, IN THE DAY OF YOUR WRATH, REMEMBER MERCY! We are living in the midst of dire and difficult days, to say the least, for lawlessness and perversion are rampant everywhere we look. But let our prayer emphasis change from, God look at all the evil that is all around us, when are You going to judge it? To the New Testament revelation that says, the more that sins abo unds, the more that the grace of God abounds. Let us see what is going on all around us as an opportunity to usher in the grace of God. And we can pray that prayer "in wrath remember mercy" sincerely, only if we have felt the heart of God in this matter. For our God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. That is why Jesus went to the cross. - PRAYER GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) teaches the Holy Spirit has many gifts and He's just waiting for you to receive. Are you ready? Say this prayer out loud. Top of Page Top of Page EMPOWERMENT FOR THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT SAY THIS OUT LOUD: Precious Father in Heaven creator of Heaven and earth, in the Name of Jesus your only begotten Son I now come. Lord, no god has ever taken for himself out of the nations, a peculiar people like You have. By fiery trials, by miraculous signs and wonders, and by spiritual warfare. By Your mighty hand and an outstretched arms on the cross and by the great and awesome deed of the resurrection from the dead. You provided for us the Bread that came down from heaven, the Lamb of God, Your Living Word. You enabled us to drink His blood, precious and holy, for the New Covenant. From heaven you made us to hear Your voice, to discipline and empower us. On earth You showed Your tongues of fire, to fill us with Your power in accordance to Your promises. Lord fill me now with your Holy Spirit, fulfill Your promise in me. And grant me Your gifts with power. Dear Lord that Your authority may be displayed in me and that I may serve You faithfully. Rescue me, O Lord, from evil things; protect me from men of violence, who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day against me. They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent's; the poison of vipers is on their lips. Protect me, O Lord, from the words of the wicked one; Guard me your servant and my family with the hedge of Your unfailing love. Praise be to You dear Lord, my Rock, You train my hands for war, my fingers for battle. For if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon me with power and dominion. That I may occupy till You come dear Lord. Hallelujah! For salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for true and just are His judgments. He has condemned the greatly corrupted kingdom of the enemy here on earth, and has given the dominion to us His servants, by covering us with His blood. Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! He looked and saw how helpless my situation was. So His own arm worked salvation for me, and by His righteousness I am sustained in Him, empowered to do His mighty will. - NO FEAR OF GOD IN THE LAND | HoFM House of Faith Ministries
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Amos 6:3 “Woe to you who put far off the day of doom, who cause the seat of violence to come near.” There is a battle between good and evil. Top of Page Top of Page NO FEAR OF GOD IN THE LAND Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero Published on 10/16/22 Amos 6:3 “Woe to you who put far off the day of doom, who cause the seat of violence to come near.” One of the meanings for the word Fear is to have a Reverential awe towards God! Instinctively we know that God is both—the Creator and the Judge. We are also able to comprehend that after death we have to face our own personal judgment before God. But in a grander scale we also—by way of instinct—realize that all of humanity will at one point come to its final conclusion. Ecclesiastes 12:14 “For God will bring EVERY WORK INTO JUDGMENT, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.” Capitals in the Scriptures added by me for emphasis. This reverential awe towards our Creator has been written within our genetic code. The spiritual dynamics of Love and Hate and of Good and Evil are also written within our genetic code. What does it all means? MORTALITY verses IMMORTALITY! Ecclesiastes 8:8 “No one has power over the spirit to retain the spirit, and no one has power in the day of death. There is no release from that war, and wickedness will not deliver those who are given to it.” No one can stop themselves from dying because we cannot retain our spirit to keep it from leaving us. What that means is that our spirits are immortal, and when we die it leaves us and returns to God who gave it to us in the first place. Ecclesiastes 12:7 “Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.” There is a war however, between our spirit and our flesh or between mortality and immortality; and no one is released from that war until the day we die and face that final Judgment. Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” The verse: Wickedness will not deliver those who are given to it; this is a reference to our souls which are immortal as well, but have been corrupted by wickedness and thereby in need of deliverance before we face the final judgment after we die. Ecclesiastes 9:5 “For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward…” Provision has to be made for our souls before we die and face the judgment. How do we do that? We have to believe that only God has the power to condemn or to free our souls while we are alive, if we wait until after we die it is too late. Today is the day of salvation do not put it off. Mathew 10:28 “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather FEAR (have a Reverential awe towards God) Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Mathew 11:29 “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Rest for our souls can only be found in the atoning blood of Jesus and can only be received by faith as we believe in our hearts that God raise Jesus from the dead and confess with our mouths that He is our Lord. Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED (your soul will be delivered from hell).” Now concerning the spiritual dynamics between Good and Evil and Love and Hate; when there is a healthy respect or godly fear of the law of God and of the final judgment, society functions on the premises that Love is Good and that the government’s concerns is for the well being of those they rule over; even within the enforcement of justice. Grace is the overall goal or remedy, that as long as there is life there is the hope for redemption for every lost soul. The nations whose governments functioned under the guidance of Judeo Christian values enjoyed by far the most liberty and prosperities ever known in the history of man. Psalm 2:1-3 “Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His anointed, saying, let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.” We are living in the presence of this prophecy being fulfilled, as one by one all the nations of the free world have turned their backs on the biblical principles that made them free and prosperous. What are the spiritual implications that we are experiencing as a result of their rebellion? We are in the transition of leaving behind love for what is good and entering into the depravity of hateful evil. The nations have fallen for the demonic delusion of good is bad and bad is good. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the LOVE OF THE TRUTH, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that THEY ALL may be CONDEMNED who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” Remember the Scripture that said: “There is no release from that war, and wickedness will not deliver those who are given to it.” Also, we see in our opening Scripture that as this transition is taking place it has repercussions upon the inhabitants of this earth: “Who cause the seat of violence to come near.” The seat of God’s judgment day gets closer and closer the more and more that wickedness increases on the land. But God is looking for repentance, a turning away from evil. Amos 5:4, 6 “For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: Seek Me and live. 6) Seek the Lord and live, lest He brake out like fire in the house of Joseph and devour it…” In the absence of a world-wide revival that would bring most of the nations of the world to their knees in true repentance—sad to say—this is it! The signs that we are rushing head long into the end of days are overwhelming. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 “BUT KNOW THIS, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. AND FROM SUCH PEOPLE TURN AWAY!” How do we keep ourselves from falling for this great delusion? Remember always the spiritual dynamics that are involved in what is taking place. Love vs. Hate and Good vs. Evil. We must resist the temptation to give into the rage of hate, by keeping God’s Word alive in our hearts: Always abiding in the love of God that preserves us. Habakkuk 3:2 “O Lord, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; IN WRATH REMEMBER MERCY.” 1 Peter 4:7-8 “But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And ABOVE ALL THINGS have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins.” As long as our moral compass is anchored in the love of God, we will always have a firm grip on reality and a firm hold on to what is good and thereby refrain from that which is not. Romans 12:1-2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be COMFORMED to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that GOOD and acceptable and perfect will of God.” We can then see that Hate and Evil always go hand in hand, we cannot have one without the other. Hatred is the personification of evil itself, we should never give in to the venom of hate. 1 John 4:19-20 “We love Him because He first loved us. If someone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” Every time that we express God’s love and goodness to others we are insulating ourselves from the toxicity of hate and evil. Such is the work of the spiritual dynamics between Love and Good. Psalm 85:10-12 “Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed. Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yes, the Lord will give what is GOOD; and our land will yield its increase.” Here we see the same spiritual dynamics at work, but this time for the Good of all mankind. The truth that springs upward from the earth is our faith in the Word of God, and heaven’s response is righteousness rained down from heaven upon us who faithfully believe and wait fervently for His appearing. Here is a prayer of gratitude from one of His maidservants: Luke 1:46-55 “And Mary said: My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; for behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name. and His mercy is on those who FEAR (have a Reverential awe towards God) Him from generation to generation. He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty. He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy, as He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed forever.” More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- THE WORK OF GOD | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on John 6:29 “Jesus answered and said to them, ‘This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.’” Top of Page THE WORK OF GOD John 6:29 “Jesus answered and said to them, ‘This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.’” Perhaps the greatest disagreement between the Bible and today’s science is the import and position of man within the creation. As we look out into the vastness of deep space, and see the enormity of the cosmos, and as we try to fathom the distances that we cannot comprehend, it is easy for us to see mankind as rather irrelevant within the immensity of the creation, but we are not the first to feel that way. Psalm 8:3-4 “When I consider Your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit (give attention to or care for) him?” If we consider humanity by its size, or percentage, in relation with the rest of creation it is easy to see how one could ask the question, What is man? We could also ask the question, what is gold? Or what are diamonds? Don’t we move tons and tons of ore from deep out of the ground in order to extract a miniscule percentage of that which is very valuable to society? After all we move mountains to extract piles, as long as the commodity that we are seeking pays the cost of the investment and produces a profit in return. Isaiah 48:17 “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go.” The answer to the question what is man in the eyes of God? Is that we are extremely rare, in relation with the vastness of the creation, and therefore very valuable to Him. Science has spent and continues to spend incredulous amounts of money and effort to find life, any kind of life, somewhere in the universe to prove that we are not as rare and therefore not as valuable to God as the Bible teaches that we are. Why is that? In order to answer that question, we need to understand the difference between profit/worth, and worthlessness. If science could prove somehow that man was not created after God’s image, then they can reason that there is nothing that it is owed to God by man, if we just evolved. If you find something extremely valuable by the curve side, can you assume that it has no owner and thereby take it for yourself? That is why, I believe, science devalues human life by the teaching of evolution, so that they can take credit and own it if you will, we made ourselves this smart they say, without God, and by doing that they devalue human life to the point that ruthless dictators, religious zealots, and roving gangs, can continue to murder and destroy the beauty of human life without the feeling of owing anything for their crimes. You cannot have deliverance until you renounce worthlessness. The world system promotes human worthlessness so that they can control the masses, a human who values his or her own life, will not give themselves over to be exploited by others as easily. Philemon 10-11 “I appeal to you for my son Onesimus (worthless), whom I have begotten while in my chains, who once was unprofitable (worthless) to you, but now is profitable to you and to me.” Onesimus was a runaway slave that once belonged to Philemon who fled to Rome where he was converted under Paul’s ministry. Remember our opening Scripture where it declared that the work of God is for us humans to believe in Jesus whom God sent? Paul declares that the once worthless slave, who owed his name to the fact that he was a bad investment for his owner, after receiving Christ as his savior has now become profitable not just to Paul who led him to the Lord, but to Philemon as well, for now he is not a slave anymore to him, but a brother in the Lord who is profitable to all. Here is how the Lord teaches us to be profitable. Isaiah 48:18 “Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness (value) like the waves of the sea.” What makes us so valuable to God is the price that Jesus paid to redeem us from our sins. God commands us to believe in Jesus for that is the only way that we can ever become profitable, to us, to others, and to God. That is why the ministry of deliverance is so effective, for it is a tool that God uses to remove the spirit of worthlessness from those who accept Jesus Christ as their savior and Lord, and that God also uses to fill them with a brand new purpose for their lives, which they now live in service to others as unto the Lord. 1 Samuel 1:16 “Do not consider your maidservant a wicked (daughter of Belial/worthlessness) woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now.” Eli, the high priest, thought that Hannah was drunk as she was pouring her heart before God because she was barren and thereby considered worthless by many, when Eli accused her of being drunk, she cried out what in our present-day vernacular would be, I am not worthless! In a society that did not considered woman too highly, and faced with the fact that she was barren and therefore worthless to her husband’s progeny, accused by the priest of being drunk in church, yet this courageous woman dared to believe in a God who values human life, and offered Him the seed of her womb that was empty in the natural, but that by faith was so full of life. You see my friends, all that God needs in the natural is an empty womb, or an empty heart, but only if they fill their emptiness with the Spirit of Truth and thereby their void is filled with faith in the One who always keeps His promises. Once she cried out, I am not worthless, the high priest had no choice but to bless her with the peace of God, that Jesus promises to all who believe. 1 Samuel 1:17 “Then Eli answered and said, ‘Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him.’” She went on to conceive and bore a son whom she lent to the Lord for life, she named him Samuel, and after that she had more children that the Lord blessed her with and that she raised herself. In her prayer of exaltation to the Lord she said this: 1 Samuel 2:1 “...My heart rejoices in the Lord; my horn (strength) is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation (deliverance).” Do you want to rid yourself once and for all of the spirit of worthlessness? You can do so right now, but there is the work of God that you will have to do: you are going to have to believe in Him whom He sent. Here are four prayers that you can pray. First you make Jesus your Savior, then you make Him Lord over your life, then you enter into a covenant with Him, a covenant to serve Him for the rest of your life. Then pray the prayer that breaks generational curses and get rid of worthlessness once and for all. All you need to bring is a broken spirit and a contrite heart, and God will fill you with His peace and will guide your steps forevermore. COVENANT OF SALVATION This prayer is to make Jesus your savior. Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Prayer (say this out loud): Father in heaven I confess Jesus as my Lord and savior and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I believe that now I am born again, in accordance to your word. Amen! COVENANT OF SURRENDER This prayer is to make Jesus Lord over your life. II Timothy 2:19-21 “Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’ and, ‘Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.’ In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.” Prayer (say this out loud): Lord Jesus I belong to you and I commit myself to turn away from wickedness. Lord search me to see if there be any wicked thing in me. Expose and remove everything in my life that will hinder you from total lordship over my life. Grant me the strength dear Lord Jesus to endure the purification fire. I pray that through your testing you will find in me, genuine faith. Amen! THE SERVANT’S COVENANT This is prayer is a petition to become a humble servant. John 12:26 “Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.” Prayer (say this out loud): Father in heaven I surrender all positions in life to you, in order to become Jesus’ faithful servant and to follow Him. This body is not my own, but it has been purchased with the blood of Jesus. I want to be in your perfect will Lord Jesus, let everything that I do bring glory and honor to you dear Lord. Teach me to be humble, train me to be your faithful servant. Amen! PRAYER TO REMOVE GENERATIONAL CURSES Prayer (say this out loud): Our Father who are in heaven, creator of heaven and earth, God the judge of all; in the name of Jesus your only Son I enter into Your heavenly court and publicly repent of all of my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness in the Name of Jesus. Apply dear Lord I pray, the atoning blood of Jesus over all the sins in my life and the sins in my ancestor’s life that resulted in a curse. I repent of all of our disobediences and rebellions committed against Your Word. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of perversion, lust, cheating, lying, adultery, fornication, mistreatment of others, uncleanness, filthiness, wantonness, lewdness, and every perverted thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of false religion, cults, reading of horoscopes, idolatry, witchcraft, divination, all occult involvements, seditions, heresies, sorcery, dissentions, and every demonic thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of indecision, compromise, hatred, contentions, envy, gossip, murder, hostility towards others, hostilities towards my self, ill will towards others, ill will towards my self, and every divisive thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of malfunction, failures, laziness, lack of responsibility, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, drunkenness, intoxication, addictions, dependencies, and every compromising thing that was connected to our fallen nature. According to 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Now that I’ve confessed all my sins, I ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing from all my unrighteousness and the unrighteousness passed to me through the iniquity of all my ancestor’s. Deliver me Lord and cleanse me by the power of the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I now take authority over the devil’s accusations against me. In accordance with the Word of God, I break and condemn any and every curse upon my life in the name of Jesus. I break all curses of poverty, lack, debt, destruction, sickness, death and vagabond. I break all curses on my marriage, family, children, and relationships. I break curses of rejection, pride, rebellion, lust, hurt, incest, rape, Ahab, Jezebel, fear, insanity, madness, and confusion. In the Name that is above every name, the Name of Jesus, I now break all curses affecting my finances, my mind, my sexual character, my emotions, my will, my intellect, and all my relationships. In the Name of Jesus I now break every hex, jinx, spell, and spoken curse over my life and my family’s life. I break every fetter, shackle, chain, cord, habit, and cycle that is the result of a curse. According to Galatians 3:13 I have been redeemed from the curse of the law by the sacrifice that Jesus offered on my behalf. Father in heaven I now exercise my faith in the blood that Jesus offered for my redemption, and I loose myself and my descendants from any and every curse. I claim forgiveness through the blood that Jesus offered for my sins and the sins of my fathers. All of my sins have been forgiven, so I now renounce all the works of Satan and their effect over my life, and my family’s lives, and I loose myself from every curse that came as a result of our disobedience and rebellion to the Word of God. I exercise my faith now in the Word of God: Romans 10:9-10, and I make confession with my mouth of the salvation, deliverance, healing and restoration that I believe in my heart is now mine, because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Therefore I confess that Abraham’s blessings are mine. I confess that I am blessed and not curse. I confess that I am the head and not the tail. I confess that I am above and not beneath. I confess that I am blessed coming in and going out. I confess that I am blessed by God, and what God has blessed cannot be curse. In the Name of Jesus and by the power of His shed blood, I now command spirits of Rejection, Hurt, Bitterness, Unforgiveness, Bondage, Torment, Death, Destruction, Suicide, Fear, Lust, Perversion, Mind Control, Witchcraft, Poverty, Lack, Debt, Confusion, Double-mindedness, Sickness, Infirmity, Pain, Divorce, Separation, Strife, Contention, Depression, Sadness, Loneliness, Self-Pity, Self-Destruction, Self-Rejection, Anger, Rage, Wrath, Anguish, Vagabond, Abuse, Addiction, Insanity, Worthlessness, and the rest to COME OUT NOW in the Name of Jesus my Deliverer, and be forever gone, because all of your rights to torment me and my family have now been removed. Dear Father in Heaven, in the Name of Jesus Your only begotten Son, I now thank you for setting me and making me free from every curse and from every unclean spirit that had operated in my life as a result of curses. Thank You Jesus! Amen. More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- THE DUALITY OF LIFE | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Revelation 22:14-15 “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life... Top of Page THE DUALITY OF LIFE Revelation 22:14-15 “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” The one thing about life is that your are either in or you are out. When the final judgment day comes it will be the same, you are either in or you are out. What decides as to whether one makes it in or out depends on what we believe. Those who believe the Word of God and try to live by its precepts will have the right to enter into the celestial city, however those who choose not to believe what the Word of God says will be left out. Faith is what casts the final vote, for even atheists believe, for they have faith in their belief that there is no God. Everyone that chooses not to believe in the Word of God practices a lie, and by their own actions they keep themselves out of the celestial city. After all I bet that you never heard of a person that wants to travel to a city that they do not believe it really exists. Revelation 22:6 “Then he said to me, ‘These words (and the fulfillment of these prophetic words) are faithful and true.’ And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.” So that it is the words that are written in the Bible and their prophetic fulfillment that we are required to believe in if we want to enter into His eternal abode; for failure to do so will keep us out forever. Revelation 22:7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” A person that is allowed to enter through the pearly gates into the celestial city is in deed truly blessed! What is it that draws people to believe what the Bible teaches? Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” Three things are listed that progressively will lead a person to take the water of life freely, which is to have faith in the Word of God. You have to have ears to hear the invitation of the Spirit and the bride. A person who is not thirsty does not look for a drink, for there is no desire, no thirst within him. Such a person does not hear the call until there is a need. Jesus told us that in this world we would have tribulations. For as it turns out, it is mostly when we are having problems or are in a desperate need that we try to reach out and hear from God; and that is God’s desire for us, that we turn to Him even if it is only when we are in need. However, once we hear Him, His desire is that we progress into thirsting for eternal things rather than the temporal things that we usually crave. As we begin to read and study the Word of God, the emphasis for our life will begin to change from that of temporal things to eternal things. Once our desires are changed, the things that we thirst for will also change, but none of that can happen until we hear from the Word of God. Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” This is why we preach and teach the Word of God, so that when there is a need in your life that the world cannot cure, and remember that the world’s cure is always worse than the disease itself. You would turn to Him who is able to satisfy you with His living waters, that once you partake of, you will never thirst again for they are eternal. In the list of those who are kept out we see a progression as well: Revelation 22:15 “But outside are dogs (unbelievers) and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” It all begins, or should I say begin and end, with a lie, which is the absence of the truth, for those who refuse to hear the Word of God. God is truth. His Word is truth. A man’s refusal to believe in the truth makes that man a liar, and a person that is a liar is an idolater. For that person refuses to believe in the truth, or in what is real, and the purpose of believing that which is not truth or real is a delusion. Zechariah 10:2 “For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies and tell false dreams…” Idolaters are void of the truth of God’s love and the opposite of love is hate; hate that leads to the murdering of those who believe in the truth. John 8:43-44 “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” Sexual immorality is the physical representation of idolatry, which is the lusting after the things that are not really real. Things that do not offer real satisfaction, for the lusting after them is based on diluted reasoning. 1 Corinthians 10:8 “Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.” Sorcerers traffic in the trade of illusions that are manufactured through the manipulation of the human senses by external as well as internal means, as in drug abuse. Sensuality goes hand in hand with sexual immorality or in other words, the allure that they both offer is an illusion that will never truly satisfy the thirsty soul. So that none of those lying crafts or those who continue to practice them will make it into the heavenly New Jerusalem, for God will judge them. Jesus told us that it all began with them not being able to hear, for had they been able to listen to His Word, their desires would have been transformed into godly desires as the Word of God judged them internally by exposing the desires of their hearts that were based on a lie, and they would have thirsted for that which is real and satisfying instead, which is the truth of God’s Word. 1 Corinthians 5:12-13 “For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore put away from yourselves the evil person.” Those who can clearly hear the Word of God will develop a thirst for it, and those who thirst after the Word of God will have all their desires totally satisfied, as it is written: Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely! So which side of life do you want to be on? Do you want to be in the inside of life, or on the outside of life? How you regard the Holy Scriptures will determine which side of life you end up with! The devil, the world, the secular media, secular humanists, godless politicians, godless professors, the supreme court, and everybody else that they can get to ride their omnibus, will try to persuade you not to listen or prohibit you from listening and adhering to the Word of God and to its life giving principles. The irony is that you truly have a choice, choose life! More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- DEMISE OF THE NATIONS | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Romans 1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress (hold down) the truth in... Top of Page DEMISE OF THE NATIONS Romans 1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress (hold down) the truth in unrighteousness.” Would you like to know when will the final wrath of God be revealed from heaven to the people of the world? Our next verse of Scripture tells us the precise moment when it happens. Revelation 6:16-17 “And said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” John tells us when it will happen in the book of Revelation, and Paul tells us why it will happen in his letter to the Romans. In Romans chapter one Paul is laying down a charge against the nations of the world, and his letter is addressed to all who are in Rome, the capital of the Roman empire. Romans 1:5, 7 “Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name...To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints…” In our opening Scripture Paul reveals the foundation or count number one, we might say, of God’s charge against humanity; suppression of the truth. Since the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to save people from their sins, then those who suppress the proclamation of the Gospel of Truth are guilty of the blood of all those who end up in hell. Romans 1:17 “For in it (the Gospel) the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’” Of course, during Paul’s day the persecution of the saints, those who accepted the truth of God, was tremendous, for they were compelled at their conversion to turn away from idolatry and to be delivered from the demons that lurked behind the idols they had been worshiping. But there is also a futuristic aspect to the charges that Paul is laying down in his indictment of the human race, for he says that since the creation of the world this suppression of the truth has been taking place, so that there has to be a future end to it. Romans 1:19-20 “Because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead (divine nature, deity), so that they are without excuse.” The They are without excuse, are all those who suppress the truth that it is clearly manifested in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, be it in self-suppression, that is suppressing the truth within themselves, or in a greater plane, suppressing the Gospel within their own families, communities, or nations. To many who lived on the west and were raised under the Judeo Christian values of just a century ago, the thought of an era of secular humanism, void of God and morals, was a reprehensible idea to say the least, and just look where we are now after two world wars and a myriad of smaller ones. We live in a world where blood thirsty tyrants decimate entire populations, including their aged and their children along with their mothers, in instances they even use chemical weapons and their violent deaths are recorded live for everyone to see, and the world just does not seem to care. Then the very ones that are behind all the mayhem and have supplied those tyrants with their support and their deadly weaponry, are treated as heroes. What is happening to us? In the midst of so much wrong there does not seem to be a right way to turn to, why is that? Romans 1:25 “Who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Paul calls what is going on in our present day, in his second letter to the Thessalonians, the mystery of lawlessness. This mystery is revealed to us in our next verse of Scripture: Revelation 16:13-14 “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” I believe that these three demons, that are finally exposed before the Lord destroys them, are the three forces, or influences, that drive our present-day leaders and their respective nations away from the Judeo-Christian traditions that they not so long ago embraced. There are three men whose influence upon the human race was pivotal to bring us into the chaotic situation that we find our world deep in today. They were, Darwin, Freud, and Marx; these three men, I believe, best exemplify the nature of the three major demonic influences that have brought so much havoc into our world today. Darwin with his theory of evolution and supremacy of the species, gave credence to the hatred that brought about man’s inhumanity to man, through the Nazi doctrine of ethnic cleansing, how else could well educated men have committed such atrocities unless they believed that they were doing the world a service by ridding it of inferior humans. One would think that their consciences would have pricked them to the point of realizing that what they were doing was so wrong. For how can one justify to oneself the slaughter of innocent people, specially woman and children? I guess we have Freud to thank for that, psychology and their understanding of it, enabled them to turn their guilt switch off, that is why after a long hard day of sending thousands of live innocent people to the gas chambers and their dead bodies to the fiery furnace, they could just enjoy a nice meal with their wives and family, and even go to a concert and enjoy themselves without a trace of shame or guilt for what they were doing. Proverbs 4:16-17 “For they do not sleep unless they have done evil; and their sleep is taken away unless they make someone fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.” The first time that I heard the above Scripture being preached on, so many things finally made sense to me. The symbolism of eating something, biblically speaking, speaks of believing a doctrine with the heart, in their case, demonic doctrines, that they took into their hearts by believing them; when they did that the demons behind the doctrines followed them inside of that persons heart. Once those demons got inside of them, they got no rest until they acted out what their belief of that doctrine required of them, for the demons are the enforcers. They could not get a good night of sleep until they caused someone’s fall, we see this played out over and over again in all levels of society today. This brings us to the third force, spirit, or frog: Marxism. Socialism, which is a manifestation of Marxist ideology, dictates that the ruling class is to make all the important decisions in regards to the rest of humanity, for they see themselves as illuminated ones who have been entrusted with the knowledge that will save everyone else if they just do what they say must be done. In other words, they see people as stupid and unable to make their own choices, so they appoint themselves to make the right choices on behalf of everybody else, whether they like or not. That is why in socialist or communist countries only socialists or communists are allowed to run for political offices, you are allowed in some instances to change the collar but not the dog. We also see this in Islamic nations that allowed elections to take place, their political leaders change, but not the religious rulers that are the ones that really control all the power. We may not realize it, but that is what many of the western democracies have become, where we are forced to endure entrenched institutions like our judicial system for example, who continuously exercise their power to change legislation that does not fit within their anti-God objectives, and in some instances they legislate from the bench the things that even the legislators themselves are unable to pass. Here in America we see this also more and more from the executive branch of government, when their agenda is rejected by the legislators, they are somehow able to implement their agenda through executive orders, thereby defying the will of the people that elected the legislators to oppose such agenda. And, this is new, in many instances the executive branch refuses to enforce the laws that they disagree with. So they make it impossible to bring real change, for it does not matter who gets elected, things never change for the better, they just keep getting worse for the real people that have to follow the rules that they make for the rest of us and that do not even apply to themselves. That is why the wrath of God will soon be revealed from heaven upon all the nations of the world, and that is why all the nations and peoples of the world will be running for their bomb shelters when the see the glorious Lamb of God coming, for that is who they have really being fighting all along. But we do not have to drink in their poison, for we are partakers of something that is far superior of what this world has to offer. John 8:31-32 “...If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Matthew 24:37 “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Top of Page AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH Matthew 24:37 “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” If there is a mortal enemy to man of whom man is not aware of, it would have to be Neglect; and if that enemy had a partner in crime, it would have to be Complacency; and if they were headlining a Hollywood movie the title would be The Twin Killers. Someone once said that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. After officiating at a gravesite funeral for a deceased person that I did not know, as I walked by the grave markers I wondered how many of those buried there had died before fulfilling what God had destined them to be while on this earth. I guess what prompted my query was the fact that there were only a handful of people there as they laid her to rest, and I did not have much of a clue as to the life history of the elderly person we had just buried. Out of all the funerals that I officiated, that particular one always reminds me of the rapture for some reason. For as I was walking by the many gravesites the Lord revealed to me the reality of how many of us while on this earth neglect our fiduciary duties to life and become complacent about our many responsibilities to the Creator. Matthew 24:38-39 “For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” In life we quickly learn that our actions always incur reactions, but the one lesson that it is harder to learn is that our inactions also have reactions, and usually they are unwanted negative reactions, but many a times we come to that realization just a little too late. Jesus makes very clear in His teachings that life is full of uncertainties. But the one area of life that I want to focus on today is in our responsibility before Him at His soon return. What does Jesus expect from us at His return? Matthew 25:14 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.” In the parable of the talents Jesus is clearly teaching about the responsibilities of those who have been saved and gifted with God’s many goods and their having to give an accounting before the Master upon His return. In the parable Jesus puts the emphasis in the multiplication of the talents and not on how many talents each of the servants were given originally. For those who multiplied their talents received the same reward regardless of how many talents they started with. Matthew 25:21, 23 “His lord said to him (the one who had received five talents), ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord’...His lord said to him (the one who had received two talents), ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’” The only difference between the two is that the ones that were faithful are the ones that had been dead and were bodily resurrected at our Lord’s return, and the ones that have been faithful are the ones that are alive and rapture when our Lord returns, for they are still in the salvation process. But look at the fate of the one who failed to multiply, or at least increase the talent that he was given, for it was a horrible fate. Matthew 25:25-27 “‘And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours .’ But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest.’” Jesus uses currency as an example for the lives of those who are His, remember how the parable began? The master called his own servants and delivered his goods to them, so that Jesus is not dealing here with unbelievers, but rather He is dealing with the believers at His return. Now the word wicked that Jesus uses for the servant that failed the master when He called him you wicked and lazy servant, is the same that He used earlier in reference to a believer that failed to forgive. Matthew 18:32-34 “Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.” Who are the torturers? The demons of fear and torment. 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” What was it that Jesus told us that the wicked servant first said to the master? And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. This may come as a shock to some, but not all believers will be rapture! They will all be saved but not all will be taken up to be with Jesus when He first returns, some believers, if not many, will be turned over to the tormenting demons that will be released during the first five months of the Wrath of God upon the earth. Psalm 78:49 “He unleashed against them his hot anger, his wrath, indignation and hostility—a band of destroying angels.” So that in both cases, the servant that refused to forgive as he had been forgiven and the one who feared being accountable to the Master, neither of them had been made perfect in love, so that fear and torment will be the catalysts that God uses to perfect them into the kingdom. Fear and Torment will drive Neglect and Complacency out of the believers that refuse to be perfected in love! What is it then that Jesus expects from us at His return? Matthew 25:13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.” What does it mean to watch? I think it has to do with expectation; what are your expectations of Jesus as He returns? Is He coming to save you, or is He coming to judge you? What will His return be like? If you are complacent and neglectful about someone’s imminent visit, it would seem that you really do not care much about them. Your attitude may be that of, Well if I am not home when they happen to come, too bad. If the house is a mess when they come, who cares. That type of attitude implies that you own the house and that He is only a visitor, but if you are a believer you need to realize that He owns you and that He has invested into your life the gift of His life. He is not coming back to sit down and chit chat with you, He is coming back to claim the rewards from the gifts that He has invested in you and in your life. Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Let me ask you this, if I may; Does your life transcend this life? Matthew 16:25 “For whosoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” What light am I suppose to shine? What does it mean to lose our lives for His sake? What is transcendence? Jesus invested His life into our lives so that our lives can transcend and become one with His life. And just like He gave up His natural life to obtain a higher physical/spiritual eternal life, so must we. There is no hope in this life of death outside of the resurrection from the dead into eternal physical and spiritual life. Now if the return of Christ completes the natural life that is totally surrendered to Him, a life that is dead to the things of this world and alive in the hope of the resurrection from the dead, then His return is the most important event in all of life, and just a hint that it may be nearer should cause us to focus more closely into His possible return in our day. What is the engine that drives you? What are the predominant thoughts that preoccupy your mind as you fall asleep every night? Do you think about those love ones that may not be ready when our Lord returns? Are you planning your strategy for when the skies turn dark and the unbelievers fear? Are you prepared to tell them that Jesus is coming and that if they call on His name they will be saved? Psalm 116:10 “I believed, therefore I spoke…” A light shines through us as the result of a fire that is burning within us. If the Lord is our passion, if His Word is our compass, and if we make our lives His life, living for that wonderful moment when He appears to take us away with Him that we may be like Him, then we have already transcended this present life and are more than ready to be rescued. John 21:15 “So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, ‘Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?’ He said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.’ He said to him, ‘Feed My lambs.’” The only thing outside of our preoccupation with His soon return, should be our preoccupation with feeding His sheep with the sincere milk of the Word of God, preparing them for our Lord’s soon return. Is not the grandeur of our destiny that we should be eager to attain, but rather, in the grandeur of His coming that we should be eager to not only participate, but also to prepare as many as we possible can to participate in it as well? 2 Corinthians 4:11 “For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.” More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

- THE FOUL SPIRIT OF HATE | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Revelation 18:2 “And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, Top of Page THE FOUL SPIRIT OF HATE Revelation 18:2 “And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!’” If there is a word that conjures up strong emotions when spoken, it has to be the word hate. I can even picture a human face contorting as it utters that word. It is almost like one cannot even say the words, I hate you, without the display of an outburst of emotions attached to them. Since spirits manifest themselves as influences through persons, it is only natural that a spirit of hate would manifest itself through a person with such a display of emotion. I guess I should explain how I believe unclean spirits operate through persons, for those of you reading this that may not have heard of this teaching before, so that we can all be on the same page, here it is. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” As you may know, the New Testament was written in the Greek language which has a lot more words to express meaning and sentiment than the English language does. Every now and then we have to look at Scriptures as they were written in the original language to get the full meaning of what is teaching. This is one of those cases. In the original Greek, the word translated spirit is the word: Pnyoomah: # 4151 in Strong’s concordance, and it means Breath, as in a blast or a current of air and is translated as the word spirit. For in the Greek, spirits are referred to as breath or air, but in this case it refers to a specific form of breath, a blast or a current of air. Pnyoomah is the Greek word from where we get the term pneumatic as in pneumatic tools, which are tools that run on blast or currents of air. In the original Greek, the word translated soul is the word: Phookhay: # 5590 in Strong’s concordance, and it also means Breath, but by implication, static air, and is translated as the word soul. To get a better understanding of how the spirit and the soul work together to give us our personality, let us go to the first created human. Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man (the physical body) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath (the human spirit) of life; and man became a living being (soul, personhood).” If we want to understand how spirits can move the physical body, here is what I believe are the mechanics of how it works: The human spirit is like the energy, the blast or the current of energy like in a pneumatic tool, that moves the soul, that in turn gives to us our personalities, the person that we become. The human spirit is not self-sufficient, so it has to derive energy from sources outside of itself. Our spirit man was originally designed to receive energy from the Word of God and derive its human personality from it, that is to drive the soul into becoming what the Word of God intended for that person to be. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living (Zoe in the Greek, and it means life giving and life sustaining) and powerful (Energea in the Greek, and it means moving energy)…” Take for example the word influence, it describes the spiritual inflow that motivates people to do things, an influence is a spirit, and if the influence contradicts the Word of God, is an unclean spirit. Another example is the word inspire, when a person dies, that person expired, it means the spirit of life left them. When a person is inspired, it is a spirit who is doing the inspiration, and if such inspiration contradicts the Word of God, it is also designated as an unclean spirit. Now we were all born after the flesh, so like Adam we all have the propensities within us to fear and to doubt, and to feel shame and nakedness because of our sinful natures. But in the new birth we become a new creation, a brand-new creature. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” We are not beholden to the old nature any longer. But we still have to make a choice, and it has to do with which spirits are we going to allow to influence us, and are we going to filter those influences through the sift of the Word of God. Here is another example; as new creatures in Christ, all of our sins have been forgiven, we are not to walk in the fear of eternal torment any longer, but in the power of God’s love for us, and rejoice that in Christ, we have the mind of Christ, which is a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Now that we understand the process let us shift our attention to the spirit of hate, which is the culprit for the majority of the chaos going on around the world today. For hatred is the strongman of these last days. I believe that the three most powerful human emotions are: Love, hate, and fear. According to Paul God has not given us the spirit of fear, but He has indeed given to us His Spirit of love. However, the spirit of a sound mind is necessary to keep us from falling prey to the foul spirit of hate, especially in these last days. Harboring the spirit of hatred can lead to the insurrection of the soul. Psalm 64:2 “Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity.” KJV Insurrection is revolt from within, and since the workers of iniquity still reside within our souls which are still in the process of salvation, what it means is that our human nature can be led into rebelling against the commandments that flow from God into our spirit man. Just like the love of God nullifies the spirit of fear, the spirit of a sound mind can help us put away the spirit of hatred. First let us identify which type of hatred we are dealing with as the Day of our redemption draws near. Psalm 25:19 “Consider my enemies, for they are many; and they hate me with cruel (violent) hatred.” All you have to do to know that this is the type of hatred that we are dealing with today, just search the news and see how many believers are beheaded, tortured, burned alive, and struck down for their faith in Jesus Christ all around the world on a daily basis. In the more civilized parts of the world, where still some common sense restrains it, the violence from this spirit of hatred is more verbal in nature, but the sentiments are the same. If you are a believer in the morality that the Word of God commands for societies to follow, you are considered the scum of the earth, and it won’t be long before this sprit of hatred rears its nature of violence against those of us who believe here in the western nations as well. What feeds this spirit of cruel hatred is the spirit of division that is continuously propagated by the mediums of today, the news organizations that do not barter in the truth that they were originally established to proclaim, but rather in incitement and propaganda against the dictates of God’s Word. Ezekiel 25:15 “...Took vengeance with a spiteful heart, to destroy (through violent means) because of the old hatred (perpetual).” I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but all the hatred that is being fomented right now by many, has its roots in old hatred, that is, they are trying to revive past grievances, but in reality it is nothing more than Satan’s perpetual hatred against those of us who belong to God. Proverbs 10:12 “Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.” Now the reason I am bringing all these things up is to warn you, and to keep you from falling into the demonic trap of repaying evil with evil. As I look at what is happening from a spiritual perspective, the devil is playing mankind as a well-rehearsed orchestra. Everything out there is designed to bring up strife within the hearts of people with common sense. I see the frustration that many are having to endure, for it seems that what is evil and destructive has become the acceptable norm, and what is sound and good judgment is ridiculed. But we need to keep in mind that what they are doing, they are doing it purposely, they do not need to convince those who have swallow their lies hook line and sinker to follow in their destructive ways. It is us that need to be neutralized, from their point of view that is, those of us who believe in the power of God’s love to inspire and to motivate our actions. And the way to neutralize us is to have us fall for the tricks of the cruel spirit of hatred and become like them. Proverbs 13:21 “Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous, good shall be repaid.” Please my friends I know that it is not easy, not to become upset over the lies and the deception that they seem to be getting away with these days, without seemly any repercussions, let God deal with their actions. Make every effort not to get caught up in their web of cruel hatred and bad intentions. Let God’s love fill us with His peace, and deliver us from the snares of the wicked one. Let not our hearts backslide from His love. Proverbs 14:14 “The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, but a good man will be satisfied from above.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
