- THEREFORE WE HOPED | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teach on Romans 15:13 “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Top of Page THEREFORE WE HOPED But also, if we die daily, that means that we start anew daily. So that hope springs new and eternal every morning, leaving yesterday’s failures, and the thoughts about them, behind. Romans 15:13 “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” What is hope made of? According to our opening Scripture the God of hope is able to fill us with all joy and peace in believing, and it is also able to endue us with power from the Holy Spirit. We could say that hope is the key ingredient that allows us to live a life that is confident and secured in the promises that God has given to each and everyone of us. When all else is lost, hope remains! As a matter of fact, hope even triumphs in those who feel that they have lost all hope—when against all hope, they hope anyway. Romans 4:18 “Who, contrary to hope, in hope believed…” We get a sense then, that hope is that indispensable gift that remains, even after all else is lost. So that if we had to choose which of the many qualities that makes up hope is the greatest, undoubtedly, we would all agree that the fact that hope can never be truly lost is the greatest of all of its qualities. We could say then that hope is like a default setting that has been placed inside each and everyone of us. No matter how much we mess up and deviate from God’s original plan for our lives and therefore end up losing everything, we can always turn to the default setting of hope and start all over again. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” The seed of hope brings forth a blooming faith. Were it not for hope, no one could start a new life after wasting a previous one. In order for a new beginning to be successful it has to start in a positive note, so hope brings not only faith, but joy and peace as well. We could say then that hope is a repellent against bitterness, anger, and fear, all those things that would hinder a new beginning. Now here is a mystery, how can hope and a new beginning be part of my daily Christian walk? 1 Corinthians 15:31 “I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.” The salvation of our souls requires that we die daily to ourselves and that we also die daily to our own selfish desires. The only way that a person is able to truly die daily to their own self-interests is if they live their lives in the hope that Christ’s plan for their lives is better for them, than the plan that this world is offering them. So that our hope of a better life from Christ, brings to us the daily dose of faith that its needed to make it through each day, no matter what evil that day may bring with it. But also, if we die daily, that means that we start anew daily. So that hope springs new and eternal every morning, leaving yesterday’s failures, and the thoughts about them, behind. Lamentations 3:22-23 “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” And that is the source of our joy and peace, the fact that we get a brand new start each and every day, for His compassions for us never fail. Think of a steep climb and of reaching the top of the hill as the goal. At the base we start with two climbers, one is strong, powerful, and highly skilled in climbing difficult terrains, his only flaw is that if he falls just once, he has been known to give up the climb and quit. The other is prone to falling down, and not very skilled as a climber, but he has one great quality going for him, no matter how many time he falls, he will not give up the climb! Human nature gives up in the face of failure, however, hope thrives in the face of failure, for it does not carry failure over from one day to another, it sees each new day as a brand new start with an opportunity to conquer unconquered ground. Psalm 119:147 “I rise before the dawning of the morning, and cry for help; I hope in Your word.” The essence of hope, is that hope, is the essence of God and His Word. Romans 15:4 “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience (perseverance) and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.” It does not really matter what our last fall might be before the Lord returns to take us all home, the only thing that will matter then will be the fact that even in the face of our daily failings it was found that…. - PRAY FOR ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) says prayer works. Say this prayer out loud for Israel and Jerusalem. Top of Page Top of Page PRAY FOR ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM Written by Minister Lisa Kane 12.31.23 SAY THIS PRAYER OUT LOUD: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up Israel and Jerusalem to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose Israel and Jerusalem, the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in Israel and Jerusalem ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.” Father God, I bless Israel and Jerusalem with open ears, eyes, hearts, and minds to see, hear, receive, and believe the living Word of God because you state in Mark 4:12 KJV “12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” I pray in hope that they see and perceive, hear and understand so they would believe in Jesus the Son of the living God! And Heavenly Father, I bless Israel and Jerusalem with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless Israel and Jerusalem with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in the hearts of the people of Israel and Jerusalem to forgive and reconcile the nation back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray that Israel and Jerusalem are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” manifests within the hearts of Israel and Jerusalem. I pray that the gifts of the holy spirit stated in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12 KJV “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” would unite the body of Christ under one leadership, the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God moves through each of us so that we know what to pray, how to pray, when to pray, and praise the living God in all that we do. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen! - Children and the Rapture | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents the following: What happens to all the children who are under the age of accountability before and during the terrible Day of the Lord? The good news for us believers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that all the children of believers are sanctified, even if they only have one parent who is a believer—they are holy— therefore they will be rapture along with the rest of us. Top of Page Top of Page CHILDREN AND THE RAPTURE Written by Pastor Marcos 6/15/2019; edited/republished 10/14/2023 In Daniel 9:24, God through His holy angel Gabriel reveals to Daniel the prophet what through man’s perspective can only be described as a Doomsday Clock. Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks (490 years total) are determined for your people (Israel) and for your holy city (Jerusalem), to finish transgression, to make an end of sins , to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.” (Parenthesis, italics and bold added by me for emphasis.) Although the revelation is directed to Daniel’s pe ople, the Jewish nation and their holy city Jerusalem, it has tremendous implications for the rest of the world. In order for God to make an end of sins and to bring in everlasting righteousness, He would have to do things that affect the entire world. There are only two ways to end all sins; God either converts all the sinners and give them sinless everlasting new bodies so that they sin no more; or He gets rid of all the sinners who do not want to convert, by killing them all. That is what has to happen before you can have everlasting righteousness in the entire world at the end of the (490) four hundred and ninety years. This is why I refer to this as a Doomsday Clock. These 490 years would have concluded on or about the thirty-seventh year of our Lord, which teaches us not to set up dates even when the numbers match perfectly. God attaches variables to prophecy that only He can know. In the case of Daniel’s vision we can read the variable. Daniel 9:26 “And after the sixty-two weeks (total of 483 years) Messiah shall be cut off…” When we add all the numbers in verse twenty-five, they add up to 483 years, about the year thirty in our present calendar, which was when Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead on the third day; after introducing to the world the new covenant of grace. What happened? Why did God introduce this variable? We can learn two things from this variable. Number one, if God had brought His final judgment upon the world back then, most of the people of the world would have perished, for the majority of them had no way of knowing God’s plan of salvation or His purposes for ending life as we know it. Number two; we learned that it is going to take God seven years to carry out His final purpose for all humanity according to what God revealed to Daniel in His Doomsday Clock. 2 Peter 3:9-10 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise (to put an end to all sin), as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us (willing to wait for His plan of salvation to be proclaimed to all the nations, to save as many as possible), not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come …” Here we see why God opted to wait, and why His Son had to die for our sins. So, He could save as many as will accept God’s offer of grace. But God’s offer of grace has an expiration day, and when that day is reached, His Day of Judgment will come, which is referred to by Peter as the Day of the Lord, and then the end of all things will come without delay. The Day of the Lord will be a period of seven years. Each year will have 365 days. How do we know that? The first 483 years were regular years, so the last seven years will be the same length as the first 483, otherwise, if you use prophetic years (a 360 days year), you end up 30 days short of the 490 years total. When the Lord said 490 years are determined, He meant that all of them in their entirety must be fulfilled, for every single day of the Day of the Lord is numbered. Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come .” Those who died in Christ will be raised from the dead before the Day of the Lord begins. Also, all the believers who are alive and remain will be raptured immediately after the resurrection. But those who ignored the Gospel will be left behind, and will have to live through the final hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Revelation 3:10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” What happens to all the children who are under the age of accountability before and during that terrible Day of the Lord? The good news for us believers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that all the children of believers who are under the age of accountability are sanctified, even if they only have one parent who is a believer—they are holy— therefore they will be raptured along with the rest of us believers. 1 Corinthians 7:14 “For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the (believing) wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the (believing) husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.” Paul is dealing with the dynamics of a married couple, one who is a believer and the other is not, and he is saying that the one who believes makes the unbelieving partner sanctified for the sake of their children—those who are under the age of accountability—so that during the rapture the children and the believing parent will be taken up, and the unbelieving parent will be left behind, for their sanctification is only for the sake of the children’s safety. Now then, what happens to the children who have no believing parents? The answer to this fundamental question can only be answered through God’s system of righteousness and justice which are the foundation of God’s throne. Psalm 97:2 “Clouds and darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.” This psalm is written within the context of the rapture. Psalm 97:6 “The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory. ” Revelation 6:14 -17 “Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” Even though the Day of the Lord is a Day of Wrath for all the inhabitants of the earth who ignored God’s offered of grace and are left behind, those innocent children who are not raptureed have no say in their parent’s rebellion to the Word of God, but still they will be left behind to endure the Great Day of the Lord. How is God’s righteousness and justice metered out to these children in the time of God’s wrath? Habakkuk 3:2 “… In wrath remember mercy. ” Revelation 9:4 “They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. ” We see in Revelation chapter seven that before the Day of the Lord is allowed to begin, the resurrection and rapture must take place; for God will spare those who have accepted His offer of grace from wrath. But what about the innocent children who have no parental protection? God will seal 144 thousand boys, (12,000) twelve thousand from each tribe of Israel who will represent all the innocent children that are left behind on the earth after the rapture. All the innocent children will be sealed—protected—from the calamity that follows. After the fifth trumpet sounds, all the demons of hell are released on the earth to torment all those who ignore and reject God’s offer of grace; to show them that hell and all its torments are real. But it would be unfair to subject innocent children to these torments; those who have not reached the age of accountability and are there by no fault of their own. Look carefully at our next Scripture’s description of who are those who have been sealed! Revelation 14:4 “These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. ” Firstfruits means: to be the primary part of a larger offering. James 1:18 “Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. ” The apostles and the early Christians were a kind of firstfruits offering for those of us who have been saved centuries after their sacrifices were accepted by God. In the same manner the one hundred and forty-four thousand that will be offered as a firstfruits offering, will sanctify and protect all the innocent children that will be left behind in the world after the rapture. Here is something new. These one hundred and forty-four thousand that will be sealed will be innocent children, those who have not reached the age of accountability. Therefore, in their mouths was found no deceit, for they are without fault before God (Rev. 14:5) Why does God select only Jewish boys from the twelve tribes of Israel to be the core of this firstfruits offering? When the age of grace comes to a close, not one single nation out of all the nations of the world would have accepted God’s offer of grace. There will be people raptured from all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, but not one single complete nation will acknowledge Jesus as their Savior and King! If any person or any nation rejects God’s grace, ultimately they will fall under the heavy weight of God’s law, no exceptions. We see that for the first 1,260 days of the Day of the Lord, the entire world, all the peoples and all the nations will be judged according to God’s law; only the children who are under the age of accountability will be spared the torment. They will have to die, for under God’s law the soul that sins must die, and it is appointed unto men to die once and then face God’s judgment. Here we see what the final result of God’s judgment is for all these innocent children who are represented by these one hundred and forty-four thousand who stand before the Lord, to be redeemed. Revelation 14:1 “Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand , having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.” Glory to God! The seal that God places on all these innocent children’s foreheads is His Holy Name: THEY BELONG TO ME says the Lord! The one hundred and forty four thousand represent all the children left in the world after the rapture. Psalm 127:3 “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward. ” At the end of the first half of the Day of the Lord, one thousand two hundred and sixty days, all the innocent children of the world will be removed from the world to be with the Lord forever and ever. There will be five days in between the 1260 and the 1290 for a total of 2555 days. At the beginning and during the second half, which will be one thousand two hundred and ninety days, there will be no children left in the world. It is during this time that God will judge the nations of the world; the antichrist will be empowered to rule over them and demand that all humans receive his mark or die. It would be unfair to have children who have not reached the age of accountability to be present during this time, since someone else would have to choose their destiny for them. Hosea 9:11 “As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird— No birth, no pregnancy, and no conception!” God will not allow births, pregnancies or conceptions during the last half of His Day of Wrath to protect the innocent from what will be the most horrendous time in human history. Even the women who have not repented, who are pregnant at the end of the first half of God’s Day of Wrath will have their babies removed from their womb to spare their babies from the final judgment of the second half of the Day of Wrath. Hosea 9:16 “Ephraim is stricken, their root is dried up; They shall bear no fruit. Yes, were they to bear children, I would kill the darlings of their womb.” Why would the God of righteousness and justice go through such extreme measures unless to protect the innocent babies from a fate far worse than anyone can imagine. Note: If you miss the rapture of the church, the only way to get saved after that is to die a righteous death in order to enter heaven and be with Jesus. Hosea 10:8 “Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed. The thorn and thistle shall grow on their altars; They shall say to the mountains, ‘Cover us!’ and to the hills, ‘Fall on us!’” The above Scripture in Hosea is a direct quote from Revelation 6:16-17 , after the sixth seal is opened and the Day of the Lord is about to begin. Revelation 6:16-17 “And said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” It is amazing to see the great lengths to which God goes to show His mercy to all His creatures. For almost two thousand years now the mercy of God—His desire to spare His human creation from the consequences of their sin—has been and continues to be proclaimed to all the nations through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Listen to this, it is very important: While we are in this age of Grace, ANYONE who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved; and if you have children under the age of accountability they will be sanctified by your salvation and made holy to the Lord. As a parent there is no greater satisfaction than knowing that your little one’s eternal destiny is secured. But know this: that with the same intensity that God loves our children, He loves us too, for we once were His little children ourselves, and we can still be if only we would call Him Abba our precious heavenly Father. Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Psalm 103:17 “But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

- THE LAW OF CHRIST | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY THE LAW OF CHRIST Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” When we think about a law our minds immediately turn to the rules and regulations that somehow apply, you know, the do’s and don’ts. But we need to understand that when the Bible refers to a law in most instances it is speaking about spiritual principles, for the law is spiritual. Romans 7:14 “For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.” In the natural, if we really want to understand why a law exists, and if we want to know if a law is a good law, we need to look into the spirit of the law, in other words, find out why the law was instituted to begin with. Why do we have stop signs? It is obvious that if two drivers reach an intersection at the same time, and from different directions, and neither one of them slows down, you know people are going to get hurt. So that the spirit of the law behind a stop sign is to protect the drivers and those who might be around a busy intersection at any given time. If we really want to understand biblical principles, all we need to do is to look at the regulations that govern such laws or principles, for they are there for a good reason. In this lesson we are going to take a look at a few of the different laws or principles that we find in the Bible, and we are going to look at the reasons why God instituted them, in the hope that the better that we understand them, the easier it will be for us to submit to them. Let us begin with The Law of Moses. Why is it called the Law of Moses? John 1:17 “For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” Since God’s laws were given through Moses first, many times when the Bible mentions the law, it is usually speaking of the commandments that God gave us through Moses. You will also hear it mentioned about the law and the prophets, and that generally speaks about the laws that came through Moses and through the prophets of the Old Testament as one and the same law. Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” What is the spirit behind the law of Moses? Deuteronomy 28:58 “If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear (learn to respect) this glorious and awesome name, THE LORD YOUR GOD.” The law was given to men so that we could understand the very nature of God as we compare it to our own nature. And as we do that, we find that God is holy, and that we are not. We find that God is spiritual, and that we are carnal. We see that God is perfect, and that we are flawed. Jonah 4:2 “...For I know that You are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, One who relents from doing harm.” Our God is also a loving, gracious, and merciful God, as a rebellious Jonah clearly testified as he quoted from the Law of Moses. We are always in need of God’s love, in need of His grace, and of His mercy. We need Him to be patient with us, and slow to anger as He deals with our stubborn nature. The spirit behind the law of Moses reveals that God is perfect and that we are not, but it shows that God is also loving and compassionate, the two things that we are always in need of, which bring us to the principles that drive our next two laws. The Law of Sin and Death, and The Law of the Spirit of Life. Romans 8:2 “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” In the Law and the Prophets, we see the duality of the problem clearly revealed. God is Spirit, and since we are not spiritual, for we are carnal creatures, there is a great divide between us and God. That needs to be bridged before we can be accepted by God, for the Law requires that we change by becoming spiritual. But how can we become spiritual when we are carnal by nature? The Word of God Who is spiritual had to become carnal or flesh like us in human form, in order to fulfill all the righteous or spiritual requirements of the Law as a human. Since the Law can kill only those who fail it, for it is written in the Law: The soul that sins shall surely die, and since Jesus died, but not for His sins, for He had none, for He is perfect and fulfilled all the Law, so that it was the sins of others that He died for on the cross. But here is the fact that the Law cannot violate the rights of a righteous man. So that if the Law was ever to kill a righteous man it would have to give Him back His life, since the Law is perfect, and it cannot condemn an innocent man. But since Jesus, a righteous man died, atonement was made for sins, and since it was not for His own sins that He died, since He had none, then we must ask the question, whose sins did He atone for on His death on the cross? 1 Corinthians 15:45 “And so it is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living being.’ The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” Hence the Law of the Spirit of Life was introduced to release all the descendants of the first Adam from the Law of Sin and Death that we all had inherited through Adam’s fall, and at the same time to make us spiritual and acceptable to God through the Law of the Sprit of Life to all who freely accept the pardon that has been offered to all Adam’s descendants who are willing to believe, which brings us to our next law. The Law of Faith. Romans 3:27-28 “Where is the boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.” The work that Jesus completed on the cross for us accomplished two things: First, it fulfilled the Law of God as revealed through Moses and the Prophets, as Jesus told us, I did not come to destroy (the Law) but to fulfill (it). What that means is that Jesus fulfilled, as a human, all the requirements of righteousness that the law demanded from all humans. Secondly, it demonstrated God’s true love for us as revealed in the Law, that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us and removed us from the Law of Sin and Death that we were under by placing us under the Law of the Spirit of Life. But through The Law of the Sprit of Life another law is revealed, The Law of Faith, and the only requirements that we have under this law of faith is that we believe that we have been delivered from Adam’s fall by the atoning work of Jesus on the cross, for this is the law that trumps the sin that caused Adam to fall in the first place. Genesis 3:11 “...Who told you that you were naked?” Spiritually speaking, fruit is the product of what we believe deep within us. In other words, the nature of the fruit that we produce. I am talking about our conduct of course, for it reveals which doctrine we believe. When we are told that Adam took of the fruit that originated from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and ate it, it means that he believed what he was told. That is why God asked him the question, who told you that you were naked? The root of Adam’s sin was that when God created him, God said of him that he was good, even though he was naked, and God did not associate any shame with Adam being naked. When the serpent revealed to Adam the condition of his nakedness and associated it with shame, Adam believed the words of the serpent over what God had said...that was his sin. When Jesus hung on the cross naked, He took all the shame that every human had ever experienced or will ever experience, and He nailed it there for all to see. Adam might had been naked in the natural, but he wasn’t uncovered, for the God that created him, loved him and accepted him as he was, and it was the covering of God’s Word that clothed him, for when God looked at him in his naked condition God declared him good, and it is the Word of God that sets the standards, not the devil nor the world. And so it is for us who believe today as well, we are still naked in the sense that we still dwell in these mortal bodies, and we still have to contend with the devil who accuses us day and night continuously reminding us of our nakedness. But our covering comes through The Law of Faith, for in it we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. So that what changes is our testimony, we are not naked and we do not walk in shame, for our nakedness has been covered by the grace of Almighty God and nailed to the cross along with its shame. Romans 10:8-10 “But what does it say? The word (the fruit) is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is, the word [law] of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (through The Law of the Sprit of Life), you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Since in Jesus we are covered under The Law of the Spirit of Life, and since our only requirement is that we abide by The Law of Faith, that is to believe in the promises of God and to declare our allegiance to them faithfully, that brings us then into another law. The Law of Liberty. James 1:25 “But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.” James 2:12 “So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.” Therefore we live under the covering of The law of the Sprit of Life, empowered by The Law of Faith, which in tur n has placed us under The Law of Liberty that frees us to boldly proclaim the Gospel without any shame or trepidation. So that now we are free to fulfill The Law of Christ! Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Back to Deliverance Ministry
- SPIRITUAL HEALING | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on when your Spirit needs healing. Top of Page SPIRITUAL HEALING 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” The human body is made of three distinct parts; spirit, soul, and body. One physical unit with two spiritual components, the most important of the three is the spirit. If the spirit-man, as I call it, is sick or weak, everything else will be affected by it. As a matter of fact, there can be no true healing for the soul (mind) or for the physical body, unless and until the spirit-man becomes born again. But even born-again spirits can falter under the pressures of this worldly corrupt system of which we are part of. Proverbs 18:14 “The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit? In other words, if the spirit-man is broken we are in real trouble. In this lesson I want to deal with the functions and conditions of the spirit-man and try to figure, from Scripture, how to bring spiritual healing to those who might be having problems with their spiritual condition. How do we Christians know if we need spiritual healing? 1 Corinthians 6:20 “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” If we are experiencing problems worshiping, or glorifying God, in spite of our circumstances, we probably have a spiritual malady that needs to be remedied. A healthy spirit-man is impervious to physically induced trials, for the spirit-man is not sustained by physical means. John 4:24 “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” The spirit-man’s sustenance comes via the truth, Jesus is the Truth, and Jesus said in: John 6:63 “...The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (for the spirit-man).” When a Christian is struggling in his spiritual relationship with God, meaning he/she is having trouble worshiping God in spirit, is due to the lack of truth within the spirit-man. For a healthy spirit-man is not troubled by physical circumstances, but rather, it rejoices in tribulations, and it grows stronger every time it takes on the lies of this world. If a healthy dose of God’s truth can make the spirit-man strong and able to thrive in this corrupt world environment, then the opposite is true as well, a lying spirit, uttering lying words, can make the spirit-man sick if the spirit-man indulges in the lies that its being offered. Malachi 2:15-16 “...Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth...Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.” Twice in consecutive verses God gives a stern warning to the people of Malachi’s days, concerning the condition of their spirit-man, take heed to your spirit, God told them twice. Within the context God is dealing with them about divorce, which God hates, and the truth of the laws concerning the putting away of one’s wife. Because they had perverted God’s laws to their own advantage, that is what dealing treacherously means, God is saying to them, watch out for the well being of your spirit-man for you are in violation of the truth of the Word of God. Ezekiel 21:7 “...Because of the news; when it comes, every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass…” In the above passage God is telling the people of Israel that because of their abominations, He is going to judge them severely. But I want you to look at the progression of how the spirit-man becomes weak and faint; It begins with these words: because of the news of that which was about to happen to them, fear originated in their hearts and then it manifested itself in the body with their hands becoming feeble and their knees weak. Now let us turn that around, if our spirit-man is weak and feeble because of the fears that we have been entertaining, what happens if we introduce our spirit-man to the good news and precious promises found in the truth of God’s Word. Galatians 4:6-7 “And because you are sons (your spirit-man is born again), God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father!’ Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son (in the spirit-man), and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” We are no longer slaves to fear, fear of the slander of the enemy, for God’s perfect love that has been shed abroad in our hearts casts out all fear. There is no reason for us to fret about our present condition, or about the future, be it our future, our children’s future, our families future, our nation’s future. There will be tribulations that we will face, but they will only make our spirits stronger, for that confirms the Word of God in which we are feeding. A healthy spirit is a strong spirit. Ezekiel 36:25-27 “Then I will sprinkle clean water (the truth of God’s Word) on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit (born-again spirit) within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.” Spiritual healing begins when we drink into our spirit-man the clean water of the Word of God, renounce the filth and idolatries of this lie-infested world system, and put on the new man, the spirit-man that is created in the image of Jesus. Colossians 3:9-10 “Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old (spirit-man) man with his deeds, and have put on the new (spirit-man) man who is renewed in knowledge (of the Word of God) according to the image of Him who created him.” More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- THE PROVEN WORD | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) asks can you imagine being protected by a shield that has been proven to always been perfect? That means it will never fail you no matter what. Top of Page THE PROVEN WORD Psalm 18:30 “As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” There is a saying that in life nothing is certain but death and taxes. Whoever came up with that saying did not read our opening text. Can you imagine being protected by a shield that has been proven to always been perfect? That means it will never fail you no matter what. Let us begin with the most important of all the things that we have: life and by implication our fear of death. Psalm 18:4 “The pangs of death surrounded me, and the floods of ungodliness made me afraid.” Can we trust our lives to the Word of God? Can the Word of God deliver me from fear and angst? Every person that is born will die someday, for according to God’s Word it is appointed for men to die once, and to be judged after we die. So that we are all continuously surrounded by the pangs of death and the fear of judgment. We are conceived and born in sin, so that our natural fear of death resides in the reality that we all fall short of the glory of God. Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” How does the Word of God assure me of a pleasant and eternal life after I am dead? Romans 8:11 “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” How can I be sure that He will forgive me since I know that I still fall short of His glory even after He became my Savior? Romans 8:10 “And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.” The floods of ungodliness made me afraid, the word ungodliness in the original Hebrew text is the word Belial and it means a spirit of worthlessness. When we got saved, the spirit of Belial was replaced by the Spirit of God’s life and righteousness. Seeing that Jesus paid such a high price for us—His precious blood—we are not worthless anymore. Hallelujah! Ephesians 2:1-2 “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit (of worthlessness, Belial) who now works in the sons of disobedience.” There is ample evidence then, that Jesus has redeemed us from the pangs of death, and from the floods of ungodliness that once made us afraid; as it is written: They that call upon the name of the Lord will be saved, redeemed, healed, delivered and restored! Psalm 18:3 “I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.” The word of the Lord is proven. From the very beginning God gave us His Word of promise, the word proven means to be refined. We know that the Bible was written over a period of fifteen or sixteen centuries, and that some of the original promises were given to mankind thousands of years ago. In the Garden of Eden God promised that the Seed of the woman would crush the serpents head. God chose Able instead of Cain, after Cain killed Able, God replaced him with Seth, which means appointed, and God continued the promise through the line of Seth to Noah. From Noah’s three sons, Shem was chosen to be the line from which the Word of the Lord would continue, that is why there is so much anti-Semitism today, for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel from which came the Scriptures, are the descendants of Shem. The world hates God’s Word and that is why they hate the Semites. From the line of Shem, Abram was chosen, and God entered into a covenant with him and named him Abraham, although Abraham fathered multiple children, Isaac was chosen to continue the line. Isaac had two sons, Jacob and Esau, but God continued to refine the line and chose Jacob, who had twelve sons; God chose Judah one of his twelve sons, and said that His Promised One would be called the Lion of the tribe of Judah. About four thousand years passed from the Garden of Eden, where the promised was first given, to Gethsemane, where the King of Life chose to become the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. Mortal men had no say as to how such refining would take place, even the wisest of the wise could not understand, or even presume to know, how our Lord would bring about the fulfillment of all His great and precious promises, but He did, praise God He did! 2 Peter 1:17-19 “For He (Jesus) received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’ And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.” The odds of one man fulfilling by chance all the promises that God made concerning His Anointed One’s first coming are astronomical, an impossibility to be certain, that is what Peter as an eyewitness is telling us, and he says, you better pay attention to it if you want truth. There is no doubt whatsoever that the Word of God has been proven, it has been extremely refined and points us to a very precise person, and that person is Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, who is our perfect shield and our total enlightenment. Psalm 18:35 “You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great.” Psalm 18:28 “For You will light my lamp; the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.” Why in the world would someone put their trust in the manmade philosophies of this world which are proven wrong on a daily basis? Every major prediction that science has made, since they started to make them, are wrong. They do not come true and instead the opposite takes place. Man is always proven wrong; that’s a fact of life. Psalm 18:31 “For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? For years, since I started to teach from the Word of God, I began to notice how precise God’s predictions are. No matter how impossible a prophesy or a promise may seem at that time, if God said it would be thus, all you have to do is hang around a while and you will see thus. And what that has done for my life and my faith in the Word of God is amazing. It has transformed my life and the way that I perceive things. And even that, is what the Word of God promises to those of us who by faith are willing to believe in the certainty of His amazing promises. Psalm 18:32 “It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect.” In our present state of mortality, our perfection is not revealed in us as a physical reality yet, but rather, as a spiritual certainty that cannot be altered, For He who promised is faithful and will cause it to be so. I am what I am, not because of who or what I am, but because of who and what He says I am as long as I remain planted in His Word. Psalm 18:33 “He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places.” In our last lesson I wrote about the choice that we all have. We can make choices based on the circumstances that surround us, or we can affirm the path that God has ordained for us in the high places, which is speaking about our spiritual journey while on this earth. Psalm 18:43 “You have delivered me from the strivings of the people; you have made me the head…” If you can make this verse personal is an indication that you are walking under the blessings of God to Abraham and His seed, and not under the curses of this world. Deuteronomy 28:13 “And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only (spiritual path, high places), and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments (and are willing to believe the promises) of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.” What an exciting reality it is to live in all the promises of God to us. And they all hinge in this simple act of faith on our part, He who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved! Psalm 18:3 “I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.” If you have not yet made the choice to call upon the Lord, why not make it now? He is the God who never lies, and He is the only God who can deliver you out of the hands of all your enemies. Is death your enemy? The words of Jesus are Spirit and they are life! Would you make His Word your life today? If you do give Him praise. Psalm 18:46 “The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

- DELIVERANCE IS FOR LIFE | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Isaiah 46:3-4 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been upheld by Me from birth, who have been carried from... Top of Page DELIVERANCE IS FOR LIFE Isaiah 46:3-4 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been upheld by Me from birth, who have been carried from the womb: even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.” Those who go through the deliverance ministry, sometimes think that it is a one-time proposition because of the great results that they received after being delivered from a stronghold that held them back for so long. But in reality, deliverance, like salvation, is a lifelong process that involves every believer, even if they have not gone through ministry under a well-trained deliverance team. Not every believer has a stronghold in their lives so powerful that needs outside help in order for them to break loose from it. In this lesson I want to deal with the ministry of deliverance itself and the different kinds of strongholds that afflict so many of God’s children today. Deliverance and salvation are synonymous in the sense that we all need to be saved, and we all need to be delivered. Salvation saves us from our sins. Deliverance saves us from the consequences of our sins. There is a difference, and awareness of that difference can make all the difference in the world, pardon the pun. 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Sin is a double edge sword that cuts both ways, brings separation, and condemnation/consequences. Jesus, the two-edged sword Word of God who became flesh is faithful and just; faithful to forgive us our sins, and just to cleanse us from the consequences of our sins. We can never understand deliverance until we understand the two sides of sin. Let’s say that a person sins against another person, let’s call that sin a violation of trust. Let’s say that the offender repents and asks the offended person to forgive them and let us say that the offended person truly forgives them, it does not necessarily mean that the person that got hurt and forgave the trespasser, will be able to trust them again even if they wanted to, because within our nature we do not like to get hurt. During ministry, many a time I heard the injured party say to me that they cannot let go of the offense. They know that the Scriptures compels them to forgive the offender, yet the pain is so real to them that they cannot bring themselves to forgive because they equate it with having to put their trust on the offender only to get hurt all over again. Forgiving does not mean trusting in their flesh! Philippians 3:3 “For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.” God does not put any confidence in the flesh and neither should we, but if we want to worship God in Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, we must be obedient to His Word. That is if we want to be delivered from our inabilities to trust again and be free from the fear of getting hurt. We need a basic understanding of how Jesus is faithful to forgive us, and how He is just to cleanse us from our repeated offenses that just won’t let us go, because of the stronghold that they have over our actions. It all begins with us putting our trust in the covenant! Hebrews 6:18 “That by two immutable (unchangeable) things, in which it is impossible for God to lie (And He also swore that He would not change His mind 7:21), we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.” In the covenant that allows Jesus to be faithful to forgive us our sins and just to cleanse us from their consequences, we find that the God who cannot lie swore on an oath that He would not change His mind. Here is what it means: when we forgive, we do so in the expectation that the offender will not hurt us anymore by violating our trust once again. If they continue to hurt us after we have truly forgiven them, we, rightly so, change our minds and break away from fellowship with them, and the offender bears the consequences of their sins against us by being deprived of our communion with them, for that might be the only way that we can keep them from hurting us. So that in our natural way of thinking we see our relationship with Jesus in the same frame of mind, since we keep sinning against His Word because of a stronghold in our lives, we derive that He changes His mind toward us and does not want to be around us anymore. Although our hurting others will keep people away from us, we can never drive Jesus away from us, because He promised us that He would never leave us nor forsake us, and He swore an oath that He would not change His mind. So that if we want to see ourselves in the way that Jesus sees us, we need to see those who continue to offend us as Jesus sees them. It is the spirit of Selfish Ambition against the spirit of Self Control! When someone hurts us, our natural response is, they hurt me. We hardly realize that the person hurting us is so hurt that they just simply hurt back others just so that in their minds they get even somehow, that is how the spirit of Selfish Ambition works. It is self-centered. If in the other hand we realize that the person hurting us is under the control of a spiritual stronghold, especially when they have repented in the past and come back and hurt us again, then our mind set can be one of Self Control. For our emphasis is now on the spiritual condition of the offender instead of our own hurt that we are experiencing by their actions against us. In spiritual warfare, once the spirit behind the offense is exposed, that lays the foundation for our victory over them. So that every time that we are offended we have an opportunity for a double victory. If we do not take the offense personal, we do not get hurt, for we say to ourselves, this is not about me...they are the ones that have a problem. Then we can direct our focus to the person that needs to be set free from their strongholds. We can do that by putting them on our prayer list and asking Jesus on a regular basis to bring deliverance into their lives, or if a door is opened for us to minister to them, because we did not take it personally when they hurt us. Then we can lead them into the truth that Jesus loves them and will never leave them no matter what, and if they see that demonstrated in us, they will know that it is for real. How do we identify strongholds? Selfish Ambition is always rooted in idolatry, and at the heart of idolatry is self-worship, for it cries this is all about Me. When we get offended it is because Me got in the way. But how can I keep from getting hurt you may ask? Next time that you get offended ask yourself this question, Who is offending Me, the person or a spirit within the person? If your answer is, it is the person, then it becomes personal to you, it also becomes a trap for your soul. For Jesus died for that person’s soul just as much as He died for your own soul, and now you find yourself embroiled in a dispute with a person that was created by God and in the image of God. But if your answer is, it is the spirit within that person that is offending me, then now you become one with Jesus in the indignation that one of His creatures has been taken captive by the devil to do his will. So that your prayer to Jesus would go something like this: Dear Lord Jesus, look what that spirit is doing to your child, please Lord set them free! We may not realize it, but that is probably one of the most powerful prayers that we will ever pray. For a prayer like that cannot come from us, but from the Spirit of God that dwells within us. Matthew 5:44-45 “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” How can we be different if we behave like the rest of the world? In our opening Scripture God says that from the womb, even to our old age He carries us, and ends by telling us that He will deliver us. What that means is that whatever happened to us, no matter how bad, or how evil, how unthinkable, or how depraved, He will deliver us! We can on one hand, blame our past for our present circumstances and lash out at others from the midst of our wretched condition; on the other hand, we can use those past experiences as a platform to launch our deliverance mindset that in everything, all things always work out for our own good, because He loves us and He carries us to victory no matter what. Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” All we have to do is reject Selfish Ambitions and embrace His spiritual fruit of Self Control.
