  • THE FOUR WAVES | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) republishes a message called the Four Waves. There will be signs in the heavens and on earth showing us physical and spiritual revelations. Top of Page Top of Page THE FOUR WAVES Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero Republished 7/6/21 Luke 21:25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring.” If we look at the above verse from an entirely spiritual perspective, we see four places that are mentioned, the sun, the moon, the stars, and the earth, that will be hit by a great shaking, and this shaking will come in the form of waves. We obviously live here on the earth, but during those days there will be things that are happening in the entire cosmos that will clearly have an effect upon us here on the earth. Luke 21:26 “Men’s hearts failing them from the fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” When our text declares that the powers of the heavens will be shaken, it is clearly referring to both, a physical and a spiritual shaking that will be taking place during those days. Hebrews 12:26 “Whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, ‘Yet once more I shake not only earth, but also heaven.’” The number four is significant here because it includes the entire creation, both physical and spiritual. The spiritual emphasis that I want to deal with in this lesson is revealed to us in the form of waves, like in the waves roaring, that is waves making loud sounds that are audible. If you read some of my works, you know that I believe that there are always four spiritual forces that work together in tandem to bring about the conditions that God requires in order to bring about His desired results in any given physical situation. Like the four horseman of the apocalypse, the four trumpets, the four seals, the four winds and so on. These waves are sometimes revealed to the saints in visions or dreams; now there are common threads that link the different revelations to one another, and there are some very unique and individual aspects of the revelation that apply only to the individuals receiving them. Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” In the Old Testament, only certain people were filled with the Holy Spirit. All of the prophets of old were filled with God’s Holy Spirit, since God is Spirit and all His works always begin in the spiritual realm. Those who are filled with His Spirit are in a position to receive the revelation of what God is doing in the spiritual realm that affects us here on the earth. In the New Testament, all the believers are filled with His Holy Spirit, for no one can be born again without being born of the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit we were all baptized (plunged) into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.” So that to His church, the body of Christ, revelation is continually flowing corporally from His Spirit that bears witness of what God is presently doing in the spiritual realm. That is why when the Holy Spirit is doing a personal work in us, it seems almost like there is a conspiracy of some sort, for we see the Spirit moving through many different venues to assure us that it is He, and Him alone, not man, who is dealing with us. And when He is revealing things to His church as a whole, many different individuals, oceans apart, will have the basics of the same revelation of what God is doing or is about to do. For that is what Amos says, God will reveal His secrets to His servants, for a testimony to the whole body of believers. My personal experience with dreams of big waves started early in 1990. Prior to my first dream, I do not recall ever hearing about dreams of big waves from any body. In all four of my dreams that covered a span of several years, there were always two things common on every dream, I knew what cardinal direction I was facing, and I was completely overwhelmed by the size of the waves that were always coming my way. In my first dream, I was facing north while standing on a sidewalk in front of a small country church. I was watching as people were coming out of the church when suddenly a huge massive wave arose from behind the little church. The wave was comprised of water and mud and was coming towards the church from behind. It was moving so fast that I did not even have time to tell the people to turn around and look, I just instinctively crouched behind a small retaining wall in the perimeter of the front lawn. I was so scared that my heart almost stopped, and I remember thinking that I was going to die by breathing in muddy water. I awoke right before the wave hit me, and realized that my body was shaking and I was breathing heavily. In the next two or three years I had two more dreams that were just a different version of that first one. On the second dream I was facing east, there was a chain link fence in front of me, when a huge wave rose up, not as muddy as in my first dream. As I crouched down and grabbed the chain link fence, I remember thinking that the impact would probably rip my fingers off, thankfully I awoke again right before it hit me. In the third dream I was facing south when a huge wave rose again as before. The dream of the fourth wave came a couple of years later. I was facing west in the South Bay area of Los Angeles CA, looking at the San Pedro/Palos Verdes hill, when out of the Pacific ocean a huge, massive wave bigger than any of the others that I had dreamed before rose up. It was made of pure crystal clear water, and just as beautiful as it was awesome. In this dream I did not fear, I did not crouch, and I didn’t wake up before the wave hit me, for even though I was very scared, I welcomed that which was coming my way. The wave went over me and through me with great energy, but I was still standing, and as I looked around, all the houses and buildings were gone, and in their place, pools of living waters were drawing in the weak and the feeble to drink freely of it. In March of 1997, I had the privilege to travel to the Brownsville revival that was taking place in Pensacola Florida. For three marvelous days I witnessed the power of God moving upon thousands of people that were gathered there for that wonderful experience. We attended the Sunday morning service before we left that day and there was a guest speaker teaching that morning. He spoke about four spiritual waves that would hit from four different directions before the Lord returns for us. Can you just picture my jaw dropping as he started his message? He spoke about a revival that was taking place in Toronto, Canada, as the wave from the north, the revival in Pensacola as being the wave from the east, the revivals that were going on in South America, as the wave from the south, and get this, he spoke about a final outpouring of the Holy Spirit that was yet to come from the west. That was over sixteen years ago, and I knew that it was from the Lord, but as you know, we walk by faith and not by sight. The spiritual decline of the last few years, not only in the churches but in the nations as well, makes it hard for me to see how and where from that final revival that I am so certain, even today, that is coming. But you know how the Lord works, just when we seem to have forgotten something that at one time seemed very important, the Lord is always there to remind us that His timing is not our timing, and that just because it has not happened yet, that it should be no reason for us to not keep looking up in excitement for what He has promised. I read a prophecy that was given by a 90 year old woman in Norway, back in 1968, to an evangelist named Emanuel Minos when he came to her town to preach. The evangelist wrote down the prophecy as she told it to him, but he thought that it was so extreme that he kept it in a drawer and forgot about it. This is how her prophecy started: I saw the time just before the coming of Jesus and the outbreak of the Third World War. Then, she mentioned four waves: This is part of what she saw in the first wave: There will be peace between the super powers in the east and the west, and there will be a long peace. Remember that she spoke this in 1968 while the cold war was raging, and it raged on until 1989. There have been 24 years of peace between the super powers of the east and west. This is part of what she saw in the second wave: A lukewarmness without parallel will take hold of the Christians, a falling away from true, living Christianity. Christians will not be open for penetrating preaching. They will not, like in earlier times, want to hear of sin and grace, law and gospel, repentance and restoration. There will come a substitute instead: prosperity (happiness) Christianity. Here is part of what she saw in the third wave: People will live together like married without being married...TV will be filled with such horrible violence that it teaches people to murder and destroy each other, and it will be unsafe in our streets. People will copy what they see. This is some of what she saw for the fourth wave: I will not see it, but you will. Then suddenly, Jesus will come and the Third World War breaks out. It will be a short war... All that I have seen of war before is only child’s play compared to this one. I wrote some of what she saw in her vision and some of what I saw in my dreams, to show those of you that might have experienced something like what she or I’ve experienced, that even though our perspectives differ greatly, there is a common thread that unites the flow of the revelations. In her case she saw peace in the first wave, when the first seal was opened after Jesus rose from the dead. The spirit of antichrist was released which is still very much at work today to bring forth a false peace. In my first wave I saw extremely polluted waters/doctrine sneaking behind the church. That explains why in her second wave she saw unparallel lukewarmness and a falling away from true living Christianity, for they are the results of demonic doctrines introduced to the church. But the key point that I want to emphasize is in the fourth wave, for that is when the powers of the heavens are shaken, and the Lord is revealed, and from her perspective she saw the start of World War Three. Now let me show you two different perspectives from Scripture about that same event. Revelation 6:12-17 “I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake (in the earth); and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon (remember our opening text) became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free men, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” From this perspective we see that the land of Israel has been invaded by an army of a confederacy that's lead by Gog, of the land of Magog, from the uttermost north, according to Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39. Most of the people that you see running for the bomb shelters in Revelation chapter six are about to be wiped out by the wrath of the Lamb as He returns to show Himself holy before the nations of the world, and to save the people and the nation of Israel from sure destruction. Acts 2:19-21 “I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” From Joel’s perspective, whom Peter quotes in Acts, we see that those who witness the supernatural destruction of this mighty army that has invaded Israel, will realize that the Lamb is real and that His judgments are true, and they will have an opportunity to repent before the great day of His wrath begins. One way to see the fourth wave is as that of the beginning of a war that will end the world as we know it. Another way is to see it as an opportunity for as many people as possible to call upon the name of the Lord and be delivered out of this world before the wrath of God is unleashed upon it, and its destruction made certain. I know that in my dream I did not fear the immensity of the fourth wave, for it brought with it crystal clear living waters for the purification of the soul, and it was made available to all those who were feeble and weak in body. Those who fear and partake of the Word of the Lord now, will not be afraid in the day when His fullness is revealed to them. If only the scoffers would repent before that day catches up to them. Revelation 22:1 “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THE LORD WAITS | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on the Lord's patience in bringing us Home and to our heavenly citizenship. Top of Page Top of Page THE LORD WAITS For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Isaiah 30:18 “Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you: and therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for Him.” What a beautiful revelation of God’s grace and mercy toward us, and how He, who patiently waits for us to be ready to receive His mercy and grace, blesses us when we faithfully wait for Him in return—to return. Notice first of all that God is presented here as, For the Lord is a God of justice. And secondly that He is Gracious and May have mercy on you. The Lord waits, that means that He longs for us to be ready to receive His grace and mercy, which can only be received by accepting Jesus as our Savior and Lord. For only in Jesus can the Lord of Justice freely dispense His mercy and His grace to those who do not deserve it. Hebrews 1:8 “But to the Son He says: ‘Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of (justice) righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.’” Only Jesus can dispense God’s justice—which includes His mercy and His grace—for it was with His own blood that Jesus paid in full the entirety of all human sins. That is why the Lord waits for humans to come to their senses, repent, and receive the mercy and grace that He has made available to all who believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins. Isaiah 30:15 “For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: ‘In returning (repentance) and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength.’ But you would not.” The reality is that many choose to reject the Lord’s free offer of salvation. But that does not deter God, for He waits—even to our last breath—for us to enter into His rest. But there is a very specific blessing that is attached to those, who like God who is patient, learn to be patient, and in quietness and confidence wait as the Lord waits, and in the process they end up renewing the strength of their salvation. Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” A truth that many Christians do not know, is that God has assigned a very specific blessing to those who eagerly wait for His return: Blessed are all those who wait for Him. Revelation 1:3 “Blessed is He who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” Revelation 22:20 “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I am coming quickly.’ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” What is this very specific blessing all about? I believe this to be a three-fold blessing that applies to those who eagerly await for the Lord to return and to take them home to be with Him. The first blessing assures us of the removal of all our sorrows. The second blessing guarantees that He hears us at the very sound of our cry for help. The third blessing is an anointing for learning spiritual discernment. Isaiah 30:19 “For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; you shall weep no more. He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you.” The first-fold blessing is, You shall weep no more! No more sorrows. Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; the rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; for the Lord has spoken.” The main root of sorrow is hopelessness; Jesus nailed sorrow on the cross and after He rose from the dead, He spoiled its fruit of hopelessness. Those who truly await the return of Jesus and the resurrection of the saints, have abolished all sorrows from their lives, for sorrow has to do with loss, and every thing that we’ve surrendered to Jesus, He is able to keep safe and secured until it is restored back to us. Matthew 6:20 “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.” How can a person who is not even sure that Jesus is physically coming back to this earth, to restore to us all the good things that we have lost for His sake, be without sorrow? For where there is no hope, sorrow remains. Isaiah 65:23 “They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble; for they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.” Clearly Isaiah is referring to the Kingdom Age of which all of God’s saints will be a part of. The first part of the three-fold blessing given to the descendants of the blessed, is the blessing of restoration. So that we do not sorrow like those who have no hope. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 “But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep (died), lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.” Those who eagerly await for the return of Jesus are waiting for the promised restoration as well—no loss, no sorrow! The second-fold blessing has to do with the assurance that God hears us. Isaiah 65:24 “It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.” Faith comes as the result of that which we are hoping for. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance (realization) of things hoped for, the evidence (confidence) of things not seen.” If we dare to believe that Jesus is coming soon to restore all things, and we live our lives based on that hope, then surely, we know that at any point in time—if we cry out to Him—that He will hear us. Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (faith, hope and love).” The third-fold blessing is the anointing for spiritual discernment. Isaiah 30:20 “And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction (oppression), yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall see your teachers.” If our hope is in the resurrection from the dead and the return of Jesus to implement God’s final restoration, then adversity and affliction are nothing more than teachers that God uses to train us as to the hearing of His voice. Isaiah 30:21 “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.” Who would have thought that having a firm belief about the soon return of Jesus Christ would be so beneficial to us? It is like waiting to be seated at a crowded restaurant on mother’s day, and they give you a gizmo that lights up and vibrates when your turn has come. Those of us who eagerly await for our Lord to appear have been given an array of very wonderful blessings. Philippians 3:20-21 “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” So, we wait, patiently, hopefully, and faithfully for our Lord to return. But we do so with the hope that everyday that He delays His return, we become more cheerful, more secure in the fact that He hears us, and more intuitive about our high spiritual calling. Isaiah 30:29 “You shall have a song as in the night when a holy festival is kept, and gladness of heart as when one goes with a flute, to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the Mighty One of Israel.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THE MYSTERY OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) explains that the word mystery appears in the King James version of the Bible twenty two times, and five times in plural, mysteries, all twenty seven times in the New Testament, the word mystery or mysteries does not appear in the Old Testament in the King James version of the Bible. Top of Page THE MYSTERY OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD Mark 4:11 “And He said to them, ‘To you it has been given to know the mystery (secret or hidden truths) of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables.’” The word mystery appears in the King James version of the Bible twenty-two times, and five times in plural, mysteries, all twenty-seven times in the New Testament, the word mystery or mysteries does not appear in the Old Testament in the King James version of the Bible. The Hebrew alphabet consists of twenty-two letters, and it was believed by many of the Jewish Rabbis of old that God created the entire universe and everything that exists within it, with those twenty-two letters, since God spoke everything into existence. Five of those twenty-two letters in the Hebrew alphabet have what is called a final form, what that means is that whenever one of those five letters appears at the end of a Hebrew word, it changes its form. Psalm 119, for example, was written to give us insight into the meaning of each one of those letters, and to each one of those twenty-two letters in the Hebrew alphabet, eight verses have been dedicated by God in Psalm 119, to reveal the spiritual meaning of each one of those letters; that is why Psalm 119 has 176 verses, 22 X 8 = 176 And in many Bibles, you will see a Hebrew letter heading the eight verses that correspond to that letter in Psalm 119. Psalm 119:137 “Righteous are You, O Lord, and upright are Your judgments.” צ normal form ץ final form Verse 137 begins to describe the spiritual meaning of the eighteenth letter in the Hebrew alphabet; TSADDE which is one of the five that have a final form, in its normal form this letter looks like a man that is kneeling with his hands together and looking up, and praying to God, in the final form of this same letter, it changes to where it looks like the same man that is praying is now standing before God. The Hebrew letter TSADDE which is the equivalent of our letter R, in the Hebrew alphabet stands for righteousness, that is why verse 137 begins with the words, Righteous are You, O Lord, but if you look at the following words, and upright, it reveals the final form of the letter where the man praying to God is now standing in the upright position. Proverbs 12:7 “...But the house of the righteous will stand.” So that the spiritual meaning that this Hebrew letter conveys is that the righteous who now kneel and pray before God, will one day stand before God in the final day of judgment and give Him glory, for he trusted and loved the Word of God that made him righteous and pure before the Lord, and enabled him to stand before God. Psalm 119:140 “Your word is very pure; therefore Your servant loves it.” So that when we add the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet to the five letters that have final forms it adds up to twenty-seven . There are twenty-seven books in the New Testament where all the twenty-two hidden mystery and five final mysteries are revealed, isn’t that amazing! The first time where the word mystery appears in the KJV Bible, is in our opening text, and it is the only time that Jesus uses it. To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. Mystery = Secret or hidden truths. When Jesus was alone with those who were following Him, His disciples asked Him what was the meaning of the parable that He told everyone publicly, it was then that Jesus revealed to them that they now had the capacity of understanding the secrets or hidden truths that the Word of God came to reveal. What was it that made them different than the rest of the crowd? 1 Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are (have to be) spiritually discerned.” Since no one can be born again unless he is born of the Spirit of God, those who are not born again cannot know the mysteries that Jesus the Word of God reveals to us, for it is required of us to have the Spirit of God dwelling inside of us in order for us to be able to know and understand these hidden truths that only the Holy Spirit can reveal. Mark 4:12 “So that ‘Seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand; lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them.’” One can only become born again by been born of the Spirit of God, so that no one who is not born again is able to understand the mysteries or hidden truths without having the Holy Spirit reveal it to them. But for those of us who believe, access has been granted to us to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but yet, not every believer takes advantage of this privilege that has been granted to us in the New Testament, and we should. Romans 11:25 “For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery…” How do I acquire insight into these truths that lay hidden within the Word of God? Romans 16:25 “Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began.” The revelation of the mystery begins with the unveiling of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and what it does for us who believe. 1 Corinthians 2:7, 10 “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory... But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” Obviously, you can see the potential for edification as we explore the meaning of all these secrets that have now been made available for all of us who believe, and I hope that this lesson will encourage you to search the benefits of knowing the revelation of these mysteries. But for the purpose of this lesson, I just want to deal with the revelation of two of these mysteries, for I believe that knowledge about them is crucial in order for us to gain understanding from God about these hidden truths. The Mystery of Lawlessness. The Mystery of Godliness. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” 1 Timothy 3:16 “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness…” What is the mystery of lawlessness? Romans 7:19-21 “For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law (this law is the mystery of lawlessness), that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good.” The mystery of lawlessness resides in this fact: Romans 7:18 “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.” This law of sin and death is many times stronger than the law of gravity and just as persistent, for it never quits and it never gives up. But notice how Paul writes that in the flesh it is impossible to find how to perform the good that we desire to attain. So how do we attain the spiritual revelation that will enable us to do the right things that we should be doing? Let us look at the mystery of godliness again. 1 Timothy 3:16 “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory.” Here is revelation; Jesus crucified His sinless flesh to the cross to make a place available for us to crucify our sinful flesh on His cross. Jesus was justified in the Spirit, so that those who crucify their sinful flesh to the cross can be made justified in their spirits, and able to avail themselves of the revelation of this mystery of godliness. Jesus was not only seen by angels, but His atoning sacrifice on the cross reverberated through all the demonic hierarchies reaching to hell itself, so that the power of lawlessness becomes neutered by the precious blood of Jesus that cries out of God’s heavenly temple: Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lamb! He was preached among the Gentiles to proclaim the fact that God is no respecter of persons, for all have sinned, therefore all can be saved by His precious Son’s atoning sacrifice. The world believed in Him, for He is God’s demonstration of love to the world. And He was taken up and received in glory, where He sits at the right hand of the Father, where He forever makes intercession for us, His treasured possessions. So, what do I do the next time that this mystery of lawlessness rises up against my flesh and causes me to feel like our next verse? Romans 7:24 “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? This is what we do, and this is what we say, and this is what we believe: I AM FREE FROM FAILURE! Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I AM FREE FROM WANT! Philippians 4:19 “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” I AM FREE FROM FEAR! 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” I AM FREE FROM DOUBT! Romans 12:3 “...As God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” I AM FREE FROM WEAKNESS! Psalm 27:1 “...The Lord is the strength of my life...” I AM FREE FROM THE POWER OF SATAN! 1 John 4:4 “...He who is in you is greater than he that is in the world.” I AM FREE FROM DEFEAT! 2 Corinthians 2:14 “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ…” I AM FREE FROM IGNORANCE! 1 Corinthians 1:30 “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” I AM FREE FROM SIN! 1 John 1:7 “...And the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” I AM FREE FROM WORRY! 1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” I AM FREE FROM BONDAGE! 2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” I AM FREE FROM CONDEMNATION! Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” I know that the greatest mystery of all is that God loves us intensely, and why should He not love us, after all He created us for His pleasure. And we bring Him the greatest pleasure when we believe His Word above whatever our situation is. I AM DEAD TO SIN, FOR I AM ALIVE IN JESUS CHRIST! • THE APOSTOLIC ANOINTING | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) explains there there is a difference between let’s say, teaching others about the Word of God, which all of us should do, and being called to fill the office of teacher of the Word of God. Top of Page THE APOSTOLIC ANOINTING 2 Corinthians 12:12 “Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds.” There are five distinct offices to which ministers are called by God to fill, as they endeavor to minister to the saints, that differ from the call that all of us saints have to minister to the Lord by ministering to one another in service to one another, and by going out and preaching the Gospel and making disciples. Ephesians 4:11 “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers.” A saint can choose to minister to the Lord in the many areas of service that are opened to us; we can choose to be witnesses for Him, we can choose to mentor new born again believers, we can choose to serve those who are in need within the church or outside of the church, we can choose to make our light show in whatever situation we choose. But there is a difference between let’s say, teaching others about the Word of God, which all of us should do, and being called to fill the office of teacher of the Word of God. The same goes for evangelizing, we can all go out and witness to others by telling them about their need to be saved, and all of us are called to do that, as it is written; Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, but we are not all called to fill the office of an evangelist. The same applies for pastors, caring and tending for the sheep is something that we are all called to do, but not all are called to fill the office of pastor. We are all in essence prophets every time that we quote the Word of God to others, for in reality we are prophesying to them by telling them that this is what God said, but not all are called to sit in the office of prophet. What is the difference? Let’s say that a terrible accident happens and somebody gets injured in a public place, the call immediately goes out, Is there a doctor in the house? At that point it does not matter what the doctor’s specialty is, all is needed is someone who is familiar with the human anatomy and who knows how to treat it, in the absence of a medical doctor even a dentist will do, even if the injury is on the foot, for all that is needed at that point is someone who can stop the bleeding and who can help to keep the injured person from dying. So that in the sense of ministry, we all should be general practitioners; when it comes to leading others to the Lord, we should all be prepared; when it comes to ministering to the needs of others, we should all be ready; when it comes to teaching them from God’s Word, all of us should know about the Scriptures that are able to save them. How do we learn all of that, and how do we prepare ourselves? Ephesians 4:12-13 “For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” The fivefold ministry and those who are called to sit in those offices, are charged with the solemn duty of preparing and training the saints of the church of God for the work of ministry. Since God knows the future, and since He also knows that the needs of man change along with their circumstances, He foresaw the need of having ministers in His church that understand that the Holy Spirit always moves to optimize the resources of the church in the manner in which it is most effective. So that His anointing flows through those offices to bring about the changes that are necessary, by revealing the counsel to the churches that will prepare them to overcome whatever situations they are facing, with a message that is specifically tailored for their area of ministry. A minister that sits in the office of pastor for example, will receive through the anointing that is in the office that he fills, the guidance that is needed to better fulfill his calling, as long as he remains faithful to the anointing by not turning away to man made schemes, those who sit under his ministry will benefit from the anointing that flows from that pastor’s ministry for the betterment of their service. In my many years of service to the Lord, I’ve witness great teachers and great pastors that flowed with the anointing, and marveled how the Lord’s wisdom was able to move in whatever situation those who were ministering were faced with, to the point of astonishment, as to how the Lord worked His way in whatever difficulty they were facing, and as I asked the Lord where their anointing emanated from, it was always revealed to me that the anointing flows out of the office they held. We sometimes make the mistake that because a pastor, a teacher, an evangelist, or a prophet that flows with the anointing that their respective offices enable them with, that because they excel at their specialty, that because of that, that we can also trust their counsel when it comes to an office that they do not hold, and for which their anointing has not prepared them. I’ve seen great teachers fail as pastors and great pastors fail at teaching, and I’ve seen some do fairly well as both, but I can always recognize where their true allegiance is by what they say, for you cannot take a true pastor out of leading the sheep, anymore than you can take a true teacher from him teaching the flock, or a true evangelist from having an altar call, and a true prophet from prophesying Thus says the Lord! But if the fivefold ministry were a hand, the apostles would be the thumb, for the other four are heavily dependent upon it in order to function properly. If we truly want to understand what preaching, teaching, evangelizing, and prophesying is all about, then we need to understand what the true apostolic ministry is all about. Ephesians 2:20 “Having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone.” The church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was not erected on a foundation of human philosophy, or out of a need for a human agency that exists for the betterment of society and the refinement of the masses that would somehow bring about a human utopia on this earth. 1 John 3:8 “...For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” Preaching, teaching, evangelizing, and prophesying that does not have the goal of destroying the works of the devil that flow out of the kingdom of darkness, misses the mark. The church was not put on this earth to conform to this world system, but to confront it, and expose it for what it is, the works of the devil. Jesus told us, I will build My church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Where did Jesus build His church? Right here on the earth! Where are the gates of hell? Right here on the earth! Any ministry, whether it falls under the office of pastor, teacher, evangelist, or prophet, if it does not have the destruction of the works of the devil as its main goal, then it is not flowing under the Holy Spirit’s anointing, for that was the very reason for which the church was established, to stand up against the gates of hell and to bring about the destruction of all the works of the devil through the power of the Holy Spirit’s anointing. Ephesians 3:10-11 “To the intent that now the manifold (fivefold ministry) wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.” This was always God’s plan for the church and will always continue to be; to challenge, to expose, to eradicate, and to destroy the works of Satan upon this earth! We are not here to mix and to mingle with other religions, Christianity is not a religion, Christianity is a kingdom, a kingdom that is not of this world, a kingdom that Jesus Christ, the King of kings is coming soon to establish, this should be the testimony of all Christian ministries. 1 Timothy 6:12-15 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontious Pilate, that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords.” In Matthew 27:11 Pilate asked Jesus, Are You the King of the Jews? Jesus said to him, It is as you say. Jesus did not, in anyway shape or form, dilute His testimony about who He was and what He came to do, even in the face of death, and while being confronted by His accusers. His testimony is the apostolic anointing upon which our faith rests, and from where all other ministerial offices draw of the true anointing. Is this the testimony that the ministry that your are under proclaims? If you are in ministry, is this the testimony of your ministry? If it is not, is it because of lack of knowledge or fear of persecution? Receive right now Paul’s prayer for you and for your ministry. Ephesians 3:17-19 “That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height (fourfold)—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • O JERUSALEM, JERUSALEM! | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Luke 13:34 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together... Top of Page O JERUSALEM, JERUSALEM! Luke 13:34 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!” Jerusalem is the city of the Great King, and as such, she represents the dwelling place of all those who make Jesus their King. Matthew 5:35 “...Nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.” Jesus is lamenting the fact that those who dwell in His city and are under His protection from the enemy, do not take heed to His warnings and run to Him in the face of danger, just as when a hen makes a warning sound and her chicks run under her covering for protection. What is it that makes men unwilling to run to God in times of danger? Many do not know God’s lovingkindness and compassion well enough, so they fear Him, others do not trust God enough to run to Him in their hour of need, while others do not think that God cares for them, so they say to themselves, why bother. 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” Is no wonder that the enemy uses fear to try and scare away from God those who are not really sure of God’s unconditional love for them, once the devil gets them away from God’s protection they become easy prey. I believe that this kind of fear will be the greatest factor that will be at play at the soon return of Jesus, when He comes to take us to be with Him in the clouds, while He judges those left back here on the earth. When the dreadful signs appear in the sky that His return is imminent, I fear that many believers will not see Jesus as coming to rescue them, but rather to judge them, due to the fact that they have not been made perfect in God’s love, you can get so embroiled on religious traditions and practices, that you forget what real Christianity is all about. I know that I harp on this a lot, but I truly believe that so many Christians in this present generation have been sold a bill of goods that does not measure up to what the Scriptures really teach about what is going to happen at Jesus’ return. For years I believed that the rapture would be an event that would happen instantly and without warning, for that was how many Christian movies about the rapture portrayed it, and the endless preachings that nobody knew the day nor the hour, so why bother to look for His return. 1 Thessalonians 5:2-6 “For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.” Notice the stark contrast that Paul creates between light and darkness, and between those who know what the coming events entails and between those who do not know. Those of us who believe, have the Scriptures, that is why Paul tells us that we (should) know perfectly that Jesus’ return will catch the unbelievers by surprise, but then he says: but you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. The reason why it should not overtake us as a thief is because we are children of light, we have the Scriptures to enlighten us, and then he underscores what the Scriptures teach about Jesus’ return: but let us watch and be sober, watch for what you may ask? His return of course. Luke 21:27 “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” Now here is the key to what I am harping about; when Jesus appears in the cloud everybody will see Him, believers as well as unbelievers, what Paul is trying to teach us has more to do with how we are going to react when we see Him, will we see Him as a judge or as a savior. No doubt the world will be surprised when He appears, for they will see Him as a judge coming to judge them, and they are not, and have not been looking forward to that, however, we should see Him as a Savior coming to rescue us, for we have been anxiously awaiting for His return. But what if you have been told for years and years, as I was, that nobody knows about His return, so don’t bother with it, how will you react then, when you see Him in the cloud and all those people around you are running to the bomb shelters, will you run with them to get away from Him? Or will you with a firm and secure voice tell those around you what the Scriptures declare, that they that call upon the name of the Lord will be saved? Acts 2:19-21 “I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turn into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” In Luke 21:26 Jesus tells us that men’s heart will be failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken, which is what we see occurring in the Scripture that we just quoted from in the book of Acts. In the midst of the heavens and the earth becoming unglued, will you be able to say with complete assurance to those around you that, that is your Jesus coming in the cloud to take you away from all this chaos? And will you also be able to tell them what the Scriptures declare, that if they call upon the name of the Lord that they too shall be saved? That will very much depend on whether deep within your heart His perfect love for you, has casted out all fears, and also as to whether you have a reasonable understanding of what Scriptures teach will happen at His return. I always thank God for His grace and mercy that makes up for all that we do not know or understand, for He truly loves us, but as children of the Light we have an obligation to receive the enlightenment of His truth, if for nothing else, that we may be of help to those around us when that glorious day finally appears. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem...How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!” Remember our opening Scripture? Well, Jerusalem plays a very key role in the end time fulfillment of prophecy as it pertains to the return of Jesus to the earth, if we understand this next Scripture it will help us even more to be ready and to know that His return is imminent. Zechariah 12:2-3 “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.” The Scriptures clearly indicate that Judah in general, present day Israel, and Jerusalem in particular, will be the focus point that will initiate the return of the Lord to the earth. Many Scriptures point to an invasion of the land of Judah by a confederacy of nations to the north of Israel, to remove Jerusalem from been the capitol of Israel will be their main objective, while the extermination of the Jewish nation will be their overall goal. Zechariah 12:9 “It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.” Before God’s final judgment against humanity begins, He will show Himself Holy to the nations of the world, that means that He will perform a miraculous deliverance of behalf of the city of Jerusalem, by supernaturally destroying all the nations that attacked Jerusalem. We will witness that invasion, and it will be a sign to us to get ready, for when Jesus reveals Himself to destroy those invading nations, it will also be the time when He reveals Himself to all who want to be taken out of this world. The timing of the invasion of the land of Israel by a northern confederacy may come as a surprise to us, but not the outcome, for when that invasion takes place, we are pretty much done here on the earth. 1 Thessalonians 5:8-9 “But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR THE END IS NEAR | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you... Top of Page PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR THE END IS NEAR 1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: Prepare a room in your hearts for the Lord, for His return is imminent. As many of you who follow my teachings about the end times know, every year I make an honest assessment of what is going on around the world as to how it fits within the prophetic scenario. I call it an honest assessment because I try very hard not to let my inner desires for the Lord’s return to interfere with the reality of what is transpiring. One of the tools that I use to gauge the prophetic condition of the world is how it prepares itself for what’s coming. I believe that those who are in the know have no doubt that an end is coming. These self-proclaimed guardians of the world, who are very rich and powerful have an invested interest in knowing that which lies ahead, for that is how they have become powerful and wealthy, and it is through foreknowledge of future events that they remain powerful and wealthy. Luke 16:8 “...For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light.” They have a lot more to lose. Think of it, we just believe in the Lord and put our trust in His Word and boom, we are gone as soon as He returns, but they get left behind, because they love the world and belong to it. That is the reason why they prepare themselves, they are not planning to leave this world, but rather to rule it. I also believe that they see it as an opportunity if suddenly many of us are removed instantly from this earth in what would be a worldwide population shifting event, for that would create an opening for them to redesign the world government in a way that offers them the abilities of having greater control over the populate and their resources. Although this way of thinking has been around for centuries, we are now living during the technological age that allows them for the first time a real shot at a one world governmental system that could in theory be easily manageable. Revelation 17:12-13 “The ten horns (powers) which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.” John saw how these agents of deceit await for the beast to be revealed to the world so that they can come out of the closet, if you will, and rearrange the world’s governmental structures into ten regions, that are governed by ten leaders, who give all their allegiance to the beast for the purpose of fighting against the Lamb who came and took away His children with Him, to prevent Him from coming back to the earth. A massive data collection complex is being built in Utah, USA, for the purpose of analyzing all of the information that we now know the governments of the world have been gathering for many years now, from people like you and me. Information is power, if you can predict human behavior and how people would react to authoritative change, then you can manipulate their behavior, like cattle driven to the slaughter house. What makes this year so different is that the powers that be are not even trying to hide their agenda from us anymore, that is how close to the end they believe we are, that they can flaunt their manipulative corrupt ways and get away with it without impunity, knowing that the end is near. How do we prepare ourselves against such a power grab? We are not of this world! Let them choke on it. But as Peter said in our opening Scripture: Always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you. We need to prepare our hearts and fill them with God’s promises to us so that we faint not in these last hours before our redemption takes place. If we are not of this world, then where do we belong? Hebrews 11:16 “But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.” We cannot change the destiny of the nations, nor can we stop the coming judgment of God upon an unbelieving world, but we can take encouragement in the fact that we belong to a heavenly country which they can never pervert, for righteousness and justice is the foundation of God’s throne, so we may lose our country here to godless unbelievers, but only to gain a heavenly city that God has prepared for those of us who love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’” The hardest thing for me to understand is the reality that there are people who know that all these things are coming and instead of preparing themselves to become part of the kingdom of light once our Lord is revealed, they think somehow in the futility of their minds, that they can overthrow God and His kingdom and usurp the earth that the Lord created for the delight of His children who love Him. Our next Scripture sheds light into how this is possible. Romans 9:22-24 “What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?” Truth is the antidote for the deception that is being perpetrated right now upon the unbelieving world, we need to know, (make room) deep within our hearts that the end of this age is about to close, and with this in mind we need to prepare ourselves by changing our way of thinking from that of this present age, and begin to put our focus upon the age to come, we do this by disassociating ourselves from the entrapments that this world has to offer, through its lusts and passions, and its for’s and against’. Do not misunderstand me, we need to occupy and to do so fervently, and so we continue to expose their corruption, but we only occupy until He comes, and then we need to be ready to let go in an instant. And with this in mind we also need to make as many converts as possible, those who laughed at our past warnings, who are now witnessing the progression of lawlessness as it becomes exposed, need to know that there is a way out, for salvation is of the Lord. Hebrews 11:7 “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” If our mindset is corralled by our inabilities to change our present condition, then we become hopeless, for nothing that is going on in our present social evolving, is good for us the children of faith. But if our mindset is one of remaining unapologetically faithful to our Lord’s promises, as a beacon to the disillusioned masses, our uncompromising will be rewarded, for the Light of God’s truth will finally shine on those who waver with unbelief, if we faint not. 2 Peter 1:19 “And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
