  • TWENTY SIX HUNDRED EVENINGS AND MORNINGS | HoFM

Top of Page OTHER TEACHINGS TWENTY SIX HUNDRED EVENINGS AND MORNINGS In this section I am going to try to explain the mystery of the cycles of 26 that are found within time and space. The Mayan calendar is based on the earth’s 26,000 year cycle, there is a claim that every 26,000,000 years the earth goes through some kind of catastrophic event, and I know that there is a 2,600 days cycle that has to take place before we enter into the millennium (1,000 years of rest) era, according to the book of Revelation (Read the details in my book Man’s Final Destiny www.houseoffaithministries.org . Books section). I was astounded when I put together the numbers that correspond to time and space and the fruit of them and added them together, to find out, that we were short of 1,000 by the number 26. Therefore, I believe that time and space will come together when their fruit is completed, in a cosmic conjunction in the near future and start the 2,600 days countdown that will lead us into the 1,000 years Day of Rest. I will start by laying the foundation of what I believe the Bible teaches is how our present time and space began, where it came from and how it will end. In the chart below I show what I call Infinity Time as a river without beginning or end, an endless flow that is infinite of course. That is the dwelling place of God. Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change.” James 1:17-18 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. According to Einstein’s mathematics, within this infinite flow it is possible for time-warps (cycles of time, or a wheel within a wheel of time) to occur which I show in the chart as Eternity Time. It originates out of infinity, it is caused by the voice/word of the Father of the Heavenly Lights, and when the cycle is completed it dissolves back again into the infinity it came from, but it brings back with it a kind of Firstfruits, a brand new product that did not exist before. Just like a swift swirl in the water draws into itself and swallows as if it were, whatever falls within its circle of influence, so it is with eternity time. We can see this cyclical action repeated endlessly in the galaxies within the universe. In the next chart I show the interaction between the material physical dimension that we are part of, and the invisible (without substance) spiritual dimension. Their interaction determines the laws by which creatures are drawn into this cycle of time and are eventually accepted or rejected into the river of infinity. We begin with the present, what we are today is a direct result of the past, that’s the spiritual law of sowing and reaping, and our actions today will influence greatly what we will be in the future, but always within God’s permissive will which is connected with God’s spiritual destiny, be it for an individual, a nation or the cosmos itself. The past originated out of infinity and will end in the future when this present cycle of eternity comes to a close and it merges back into infinity. Another way to see it in a less personal form is in the next chart. Our present time flowed out of infinity, is a three dimensional cycle of time called eternity and flows back into infinity again. It creates within its interactions a past and a future in accordance with God’s destiny (His purpose for creating this vortex of time to begin with). Now to the numbers: Most agree that our present time began with a flash point, some call it the big bang, the Bible says that it began with God’s saying: “Let there be light.” In both cases our present time and space began with a flash of light. As we read in James, the Everlasting Father of Lights spoke the Word of Truth and brought forth a physical dimension for His firstfruits creatures to dwell in. In the next chart the flash point is represented as the center of the vortex, the beginning of time and space. In Genesis God divides time into six days of work (product) and one day of rest. Moses the writer of Genesis tells us in Psalm 90 that a day is like a thousand years to God. I believe that an hour represents one generation within those thousand years. Genesis 2:4 “These are the generations of the heavens (space) and of the earth (time) when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made (Spoke: Let there be light [flash point]) the earth and the heavens (space-time).” Italics mine So the number for Time is the number Six: six work days in a week, Sixty minutes in an hour, and since in Eternity Time there is an imbalance between the future and the past: the vortex rotates forward (future) faster that backwards (past), it creates a force we call torque or gravity. The number for this force called Universal Gravity is 6.67. Meaning that we are .33 short from this vortex of time and space becoming stable (entering into rest = 7). This will happen after the cycle of 26 is completed. The number for Space is the number Ten: Actually the number One with as many zeros added to it as long as it continues. I used the number Ten because that’s how many individual numbers there are. The number for Space is also the number that the speed of light travels: 186,400 miles per second. What connects Time and Space together is that: One (1) day has 86,400 seconds. The number for the Product is the number: 144, because there are one hundred and forty four generations in six thousand years of time and space. 144 hours contain 8,640 minutes, which connects the product to time and space. In Revelation chapter seven, after the opening of the sixth seal, we see this conjunction take place as 144,000 are sealed unto the Lord from the twelve tribes of Israel and a great multitude which no one could number is standing before the throne of God. That signals the beginning of the 2,600 days cycle that will usher humanity and the cosmos into the Day of Rest. Time: 667+ Space: 186.4 + Product: 144 = 997.4 + 2.6 = 1000 Day of Rest. Isaiah 34:8 “For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, the year of recompense for the cause of Zion.” 1 Year = 52 weeks times Jubilee 50 = 2,600 weeks. One seven year period has 2,555 days: 365 X 7 = 2,555. It will begin with the Two Witnesses prophesying for 1,260 days, the Antichrist will kill the Two Witnesses and let their bodies lie in the street for three- and one-half days, after which they will come back to life and are taken up to heaven. At that time the Jews that remain will flee to the mountains and as they do so time will stop. When evening comes the sun will not set until those fleeing enters into their place of refuge. Five evenings and mornings will be completed before the Antichrist begins his reign of 1,290 days. The Two Witnesses prophesy for 1,260 + 5 + 1,290 = 2,555 days. According to Daniel God adds 45 days for His final judgment which then will complete the 2,600 days cycle: 2,555 + 45 = 2,600 days. At the end of the 2,600 days Jesus will commence His One Thousand Years Reign. Time and Space will be in harmony during His Reign. All dark matter will be removed before His Reign begins. All the negative forces which are at work today causing havoc and chaos will be locked away, and the vortex of time and space will stabilize and the sorting out of the product that has been brought in during the season of work will be finalized. At the end of the thousand years the final judgment will take place and Eternity Time will be swallowed by Infinity. 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’” Back to Other Teachings

  • THE ENTIRETY OF YOUR WORD IS TRUTH | HoFM

OTHER TEACHINGS THE ENTIRETY OF YOUR WORD IS TRUTH Psalm 119:160 “The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.” If there is a kink in the armor of the faithful it has to be in their failure to comprehend the entirety of truth presented to us in God’s Word. It was Pilate who beholding into the face of Truth, stupidly asked what has to be the dumbest question ever asked: What is truth? John 18:38 “Pilate said to Him, ‘What is truth?’...I find no fault in Him at all.” I do not fault people for not knowing what truth is if they have not met Truth, but Pilate met Truth in person and recognized Him to be Truth, for he also said that he found no fault in Him; if there is no fault in Him then He is the real thing, the entirety of truth. Is there something going on here that can help us to understand what the entirety of God’s Truth is? Let’s take a look at what Jesus said to Pilate first, who by the way, was not a stupid man, for Pilate’s position required him to be astute in both, politics and governance, which requires great insight into matters of understanding people’s behavior in regards to the application of laws. John 18:37 “Pilate therefore said to Him, ‘Are you a king then?’ Jesus answered, ‘You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.’” Pilate knew that the charges that they were brought against Jesus were politically motivated, for the ministry of Jesus was a threat to the Jewish leadership of that time. Pilate saw this as a struggle for power between the Jews, and he saw himself as the kingmaker. So that in essence what Pilate asked Jesus was this, Tell me, why should I make You a king, what’s in it for me? To which Jesus responded, You know that I am a King for you have seen My authority (I’m paraphrasing). Then Jesus reveals to Pilate what His ministry, or kingship, was really all about, For this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. It was at that point that Pilate crossed the line, in what is a normal human response when confronted with undeniable truth, he turned and mocked Truth! After that Pilate tried unsuccessfully to extricate himself from the matter. He tried to release Jesus indirectly, by putting Him side by side with the worse criminal, but they chose the criminal over Jesus. He had Jesus tortured and punished by having Him scourged, mocked, and ridiculed, then he brought Jesus before His accusers and said: John 19:5 “Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, ‘Behold the Man!’” But it was not enough to satisfy the lie, for the lie can never exist while in the presence of Truth, no matter how much the truth is ridiculed. John 19:6 “Therefore, when the chief priest and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, ‘Crucify Him, crucify Him!’ Pilate said to them, ‘You take Him and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him.’” The reality is that once a person is confronted with Truth there is no going back, they can try to suppress the truth all they want, but like in the case of Pilate’s actions, to no avail. What is the message here for us who believe that Jesus is the Truth? Is He the entirety of Truth, or like Pilate, are we struggling to come to terms with the reality of it? Let me explain what I mean. Here is what the second part of our opening text reveals to us. Every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. Our normal human response to truth is to recognize it at first, but we are also influenced to believe that truth can change in response to the changing circumstances. In other words, we inheritably take issue with absolute truth that endures forever. We inherited that predisposition from Adam and Eve who believed the lie of the devil at the cost of partaking of the tree of life, which is: Every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. So that as Christians we are confronted with a constant assault against the truth of the Word of God in which we first believed. All the devil has to do is to get us to doubt just one of His righteous judgments, and just like that, we will find ourselves outside of the absolute truth that endures forever. And like Pilate we try hard to make up for our deficiencies and we just end up making it worse. Here is the key that keeps us from falling away from the Word of Truth: Psalm 119:157 “Many are my persecutors and my enemies, yet I do not turn from Your testimonies.” I do not turn from Your testimonies, plural, that means I keep every one of them, and I know that His testimonies, or covenant, endure forever. In order to keep all His testimonies, all the time, we need to understand the covenant that God has secured to His testimonies. For we cannot keep any of His testimonies outside of the covenant of salvation. Hebrews 6:17-18 “Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel (His testimonies), confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.” The context is the priesthood of Jesus as the mediator of the new covenant, and it is within this context that God takes an oath which is based on two immutable, or unchangeable things: First is the fact that it is impossible for God to lie. The second is that God swore to the priest from Melchizedek’s line that He would not change His mind. Hebrews 7:21 “...The Lord has sworn and will not relent (change His mind), ‘You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.’” Can you see how God deals with the tendency of our fallen human nature to see truth from the context of changing? He removes any grounds to doubt that we may entertain, by basing the New Covenant on two unchangeable facts: The God who cannot lie, swore that He would not change His mind! In the natural we see some things that are very dear to us today, fall out of our favor tomorrow. Persons that we love and have sworn to love in the past, can give us reason today that causes us to change our minds and our feelings towards them. And that is how we tend to see ourselves in the sight of God. When we are trusting in His testimonies we feel good and secured. When we struggle to comprehend the truth of His promises to us, we wonder if we’ve done something that caused Him to change His mind about us. Without love there is no way to resolve this. Psalm 119:165 “Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.” I love His law because I love Jesus; God’s law, God’s Word, God’s promises, God’s statutes, are one and the same with Jesus! The law of the Lord is perfect because Jesus is perfect! The law of the Lord is perfected in us when we put our trust in the entirety of God’s Word! Jesus is perfect in every way, therefore we love and trust Jesus in every way, there is no reason then why we should not put our trust in the entirety of God’s Word at all times, all the time, for ever and forever. Jesus loves us and has saved us; He swore on an oath, and He cannot lie, that He would not change His mind about His love for us. He loves us eternally and unconditionally, is there any reason why we should not love Him and His Word eternally and unconditionally as well? I see none! How do we handle then, the daily barrage that continuously confronts our trust and confidence in the Word and promises of God to us? Psalm 119:158 “I see the treacherous, and am disgusted, because they do not keep Your word.” Here is something new, instead of distrust, when doubts are raised about the veracity of God’s Word, it is disgust toward the slanderers that raises up from within us. Is it not so that when something treasured that is beautiful and lovely is slandered, that contempt towards the slanderers is what rises? Why should we doubt the immutable and unchangeable Word of God that promises us God’s unending, fervent, and perfect love? Is not Jesus the manifestation of God’s perfect love towards us? John 3:17 “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” What part of Jesus do we not love or agree with? If we love and agree with all that Jesus is and did for us, then we also must believe that the entirety of God’s Word is truth. Since it is God’s Word who testifies of Him and of His love and of His covenant that He made on our behalf. We cannot and should not have one outside of the other! Psalm 119:166 “Lord, I hope for Your salvation, and I do Your commandments.” James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” Back to Other Teachings

  • THE RESURRECTION | HoFM

Top of Page OTHER TEACHINGS THE RESURRECTION: From the Old Testament Perspective Job 19: 25-27 “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself and my eyes shall behold, and not another.” I wonder how many of you have heard, as I have, that the teaching about the resurrection the dead is something that is unique to the New Testament. In countless historical TV programs that deal with the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), we hear all the time that the devil is a creation of the New Testament writers and that the resurrection from the dead is something that is unique to the Christian Bible. I guess they overlooked the book of Job somehow. First Job says that his Redeemer lives, we could say that he is referring to God in heaven, but then Job adds that his Redeemer shall stand at last on the earth. Here Job is implying a resurrection from the dead, on the earth, at the end of times. Then Job goes on to say that after my skin is destroyed, meaning the physical deterioration of his body after his death, he says, this I know, meaning this is not just some conjecture on his part, that in my flesh I shall see God. If his body is destroyed how could he possibly see God in his flesh unless he Job, is physically resurrected from the dead. But wait there is more; whom I shall see for myself and my eyes shall behold, and not another. Job says it will not be in his spirit that he will witness that, but in his flesh, I myself he says and not another. So that in the oldest book of the Old Testament we find the main character testifying to the physical resurrection from the dead at the end of times, and boldly declaring that he, Job himself, will be part of that glorious event. Genesis 22:8, 13 “And Abraham said, ‘My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering’...Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in the thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.” Genesis 22 begins with the words, God tested Abraham. What was Abraham being tested for? God tells Abraham to take his son, the son whom you love, to a certain place and there kill him and offer him as a burnt offering to God. When Isaac astutely realized that the only thing missing for the burnt offering was the lamb, he asked his father Abraham, where is the lamb for the sacrifice, to which Abraham responded, God will provide for Himself the lamb, even though he knew that it was his son Isaac that he was going up to sacrifice. Romans 4:20-21 “He (Abraham) did not waiver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He (God) had promised He was able to perform.” There is no other conclusion but that what Abraham was being tested for was none other than his faith in the physical resurrection from the dead. Abraham had to cross a threshold in his heart that if he killed the son of promise that God had given to him, that God would have no other choice but to raise Isaac from the dead, in order to fulfill His promise to Abraham that through Isaac all the nations would be blessed. John 8:56 “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” When did Abraham see Jesus’ day? When he lifted (up) his eyes and looked. By faith Abraham saw the cross and rejoiced, before he saw the ram that was caught in the thicket by its horns. So that not only did Job believed and testified to the resurrection from the dead, but we see also that faith in the physical resurrection from the dead was an essential part of God’s covenant with Abraham. And is all written there for us in the Old Testament. How could they miss it? What were they thinking? Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead shall live; together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.” Isaiah gives us an even more amazing insight into the physical resurrection from the dead in the verse above. In the original Hebrew the three words used for “dead” are all different and have different meanings associated with them that gives us insight into what the prophet was trying to convey to us. Your dead shall live: The word translated dead at the beginning of the verse is according to Strong’s concordance # 4191 Muwth and it means To die and it refers to man, or body. So that when it says that your dead shall live is referring to the physically dead human bodies that will be resurrected at some point in the future. My dead body: The next word translated dead is according to Strong’s concordance # 5038 Nbelah and it means Carcass and it can be applied to a human or a bestial carcass, often collectively, meaning that in most instances it applies to both. The meaning of the context is very clear, My dead body is in reference to a sacrificial carcass that is in nature both human and animal, as in the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world, amazing! The earth shall cast out the dead: The last word translated dead is according to Strong’s concordance # 7496 Rapha’ and it means the dead or deceased in plural. It comes from the root word # 7495 Raphah and it means to mend, to cure, cause to heal, to make whole thoroughly. Oh what a beautiful picture of the resurrection from the dead we get from the prophet Isaiah. How one verse of Scripture, in the Old Testament mind you, can reveal so much, centuries before the actual resurrection of Jesus from the dead took place. Luke 17:37 “...Where there is a dead body (carcass), there the vultures will gather.” NIV Jesus seems to imply, according to what Isaiah wrote, that those rapture will be gathered together to His sacrificial body that was resurrected from the dead. Daniel 12:2 “And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contemp.” I close with Daniel’s version of the physical resurrection from the dead in the Old Testament that reveals that is not just the righteous that will be resurrected, but what the New Testament also teaches, that at some point all the unbelievers will also be resurrected and will go physically into everlasting contemp. Which brings us to the message of the resurrection; there is life after death, not just life, but physical life as well. Eventually all who die will be resurrected, can you imagine having immortality and having to spend eternity in reproach and contemp. Is there anything in this whisper of time that we have while here on earth, when compared to eternity, that is worth you having to spend eternity away from God’s comfort and love? I am not asking you to become religious, I’m just asking you to get right with Jesus. Make Jesus your savior, why don’t you make Jesus your Lord today, I can guarantee that you will never regret it, never, ever. Back to Other Teachings

  • The Servant - A Poem from HoFM

POETRY THE SERVANT I am a servant can you see what’s inside deep within me, for I desire to measure up to the call that’s in my heart. In this world there are those who will not bear their cross, they will not bow their knees to the one who sets them free. I don’t want to be like them I don’t mind bearing the pain, as the world rushes by I don’t mind being left behind. If it takes a lot of work, lot’s of toiling and despair, you will find the servant there, faithful to the one who calls. Some pretend to be like him by just acting out some things, but when the going does get hard only servants you will find. Always faithful to their call, hard at work bearing their cross. Minding not who cares or why, they keep on serving out their lives. What about these ones who serve? Is there one who can explain? How can one serve out one’s life just pleasing others instead of "I". If you search deep down inside, you will find there was a time when that servant had a need. Unfilled wanting and desires, no one cared, no one dared, no one spared time to supply him. Then THE SERVANT came along, and whispered words sweet to the ears. If you serve me I will feel your life with very precious tears, of the young ones who have no one, with the pain of lonely ones. I will give you strong big shoulders where my little ones can cry. Oh the joys of been needed outweighs the selfishness of life. Oh the joys of giving pleasures and fulfilling others desires. Yes, it is that joy that fills this empty hole that we call life. Oh that I may serve him faithfully everyday until I die. The Servant by Marcos Marrero Aug. 25, 1997

  • THE SECRET THINGS JUDGMENT | HoFM

Top of Page The Deliverance Ministry THE SECRET THINGS JUDGMENT Ecclesiastes 12:14 “For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.” In this lesson on deliverance we are going to deal with a very interesting subject, the judgment of works. Notice how king Solomon puts the emphasis on the secret things and how they relate to the Day of judgment. So that we are all on the same page, let me first outline the perimeter of what we are talking about in this lesson. 2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things d one in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” Paul sheds a great amount of light into what king Solomon was teaching. For in the New Testament we learn that there are two judgments, the final or general judgment, and what Paul calls the judgment seat of Christ. If you die in Christ, and by that I mean that you are saved and when you die you go straight to heaven, as it is written: 2 Corinthians 5:8 “...To be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” Then you must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, which is not a judgment of damnation but of rewards or the lack of them. When an unbeliever dies, he goes straight to Hades, which is a kind of an un-finalized hell, for the real hell is the burning lake of fire. Those who are in Hades will not be thrown into the lake of fire until after they face the final judgment, called the great white throne judgment. Which will not take place for at least another thousand years. Revelation 20:11-12 “Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.” The judgment that we are dealing with in this lesson is the judgment of the believers, for that is to whom I am writing this lesson for. So that if you are a believer you need to know how these secret things that will be revealed at the judgment seat of Christ after we die, can be dealt with in the here and now before we die, but first we need to know what they are and how they affect us. If you are not a believer yet, you can become one right now by simply repenting of all your sins and confessing before Jesus that you are a sinner and that you want Him to forgive you of all your sins, and if you truly mean it with your heart, Jesus will forgive you immediately and this lesson will apply to you as well. Now, that was simple! Now that the perimeters are established let us deal with the judgment of the believers. Why is there a judgment seat of Christ for us who believe? 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 “...But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day (of the judgment seat of Christ) will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss (lack of reward); but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” Paul lays it out very clearly, since our salvation is a gift from God, and since the gifts of God are irrevocable: Romans 11:29 , we cannot lose our salvation. However we have the privilege to minister to others the free salvation that our Lord offers to all who believe, and as fellow ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ we become partakers of the rewards of serving Jesus Christ. Romans 8:16-17 “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” From the time we got saved and for all the things we built our lives around on, we will have to give an account to God. If we live for our own selfish interests after we get saved, those things which we have accomplished will not survive the fire of the judgment Day anymore than wood, hay, or straw, can survive a raging fire storm. However, if we build our lives after we get saved around those things which are eternal, they, like gold, silver, and precious stones, will survive the fire of the Day of judgment and we will get a reward for them. How do I know which one of my deeds will survive the fire and which ones will not? Nothing that we do that flows out of our natural strength, our flesh, will ever survive the raging fire of the Day of judgment, as it is written: Romans 7:18 “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.” The only thing that will survive the fire of judgment is spiritual fruit, for the Spirit of the Lord is a consuming fire that will not consume Himself or His own fruit, as it was revealed to Moses at the burning bush. Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law (no law means no judgment).” That is what Paul meant when he said that in his flesh nothing good dwelled, he implied that only that which proceeded from the Spirit of God that was in him, and that saved him, is what counted. Galatians 5:25 “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Now what about the secret things, what does it mean by secret things? The production of spiritual fruit in us and through us is hindered by those secret things in us that have not yet been exposed to the light of God’s judgment. What are these secret things? They are strongholds within our souls that are yet to be broken down by the Spirit of God, we may be aware of them or we may not, but until they are removed from us, those areas of our lives to which they are connected will not produce sufficient spiritual fruit, because of their hindrance. How can we know if there is a spiritual stronghold within us? Probably one of the easiest ways to know if there is a secret or hidden thing in our souls that is keeping us from producing spiritual fruit is to see which spiritual fruit in us its hindering. For example, let’s start with the first spiritual fruit, the fruit of love, and by asking these questions we will know if we have a stronghold that hinders the way that we are supposed to love: Is my love towards God hindered in any way? Do I love and accept myself the way that God does? Do I love others with the same intensity that I love my self? You’ll be surprised to know how many people have difficulties relating to God from a love perspective. And if we can truly love God, then how can we truly love ourselves, and if we have trouble loving and accepting ourselves, how can we be expected to love others and accept them as they are, for that is how God accepts us, as we are. If my ability to fully and completely love God, my self, and others is blocked, how do I remedy it? John 13:34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” The Word of God reveals the intensity with which God loves us, as well as the perfection and steadfastness of His love for us. If you do not know God’s love for you is it because you do not know His Word. Jeremiah 23:29 “Is not My word like a fire? Says the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” The Word of God is not only the hammer that breaks down the hidden strongholds within us, but is also the fire of judgment that cleanses and purifies us while in the here and now. If you have difficulties loving yourself or others, study the love of God revealed to us in His Word, accept it personally, and let it burn away deep within your soul the stains that soiled your soul when the love of others let you down. As it is written: Hebrews 13:5 “...For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” Hebrews 12:29 “For our God is a consuming fire.” Jeremiah 31:3 “The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” We can do the same with the rest of the fruit of the Spirit, if you lack joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, read how in the Word of God they all have been made available to us freely, but you have to swing the hammer and light the fire. We need to understand that before we enter into the joy of our Lord all these hindrances are going to be demolish at the judgment seat of Christ. But we do not need to wait until then, we can do it now, so that we are able to serve our King and Savior without hesitation or limitations. Yes, there will be a reward, but it's not the reward that really motivates me, I can just picture the joy in my Lord’s face when in a selfless act one of my actions causes one of His lost children to return home to Him. Oh, what a privilege it is to serve the One who loves me so much! Hate, fear, doubt, unbelief, are all the result of us not understanding the fullness of God’s love for us, why don’t you start there, in God’s love, take whatever hate remains in your soul and break it to pieces with the hammer of God’s Word, then set it on fire and let the wind of the Spirit of God remove it from you as far as the east is from the west. James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. The cure for double-mindedness is the surety of the promises that are found in the Word of God. Remember that the salvation of others may depend in you being able to break down some of the strongholds that keep you tied down today, if you can or won’t do it for yourself, will you do it for them? James 5:19-20 “Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.” Back to Deliverance Ministry

  • NO FEAR OF GOD IN THE LAND | HoFM House of Faith Ministries

Top of Page Top of Page OTHER TEACHINGS NO FEAR OF GOD IN THE LAND Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero Published on 10/16/22 Amos 6:3 “Woe to you who put far off the day of doom, who cause the seat of violence to come near.” One of the meanings for the word Fear is to have a Reverential awe towards God! Instinctively we know that God is both—the Creator and the Judge. We are also able to comprehend that after death we have to face our own personal judgment before God. But in a grander scale we also—by way of instinct—realize that all of humanity will at one point come to its final conclusion. Ecclesiastes 12:14 “For God will bring EVERY WORK INTO JUDGMENT, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.” Capitals in the Scriptures added by me for emphasis. This reverential awe towards our Creator has been written within our genetic code. The spiritual dynamics of Love and Hate and of Good and Evil are also written within our genetic code. What does it all means? MORTALITY verses IMMORTALITY! Ecclesiastes 8:8 “No one has power over the spirit to retain the spirit, and no one has power in the day of death. There is no release from that war, and wickedness will not deliver those who are given to it.” No one can stop themselves from dying because we cannot retain our spirit to keep it from leaving us. What that means is that our spirits are immortal, and when we die it leaves us and returns to God who gave it to us in the first place. Ecclesiastes 12:7 “Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.” There is a war however, between our spirit and our flesh or between mortality and immortality; and no one is released from that war until the day we die and face that final Judgment. Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” The verse: Wickedness will not deliver those who are given to it; this is a reference to our souls which are immortal as well, but have been corrupted by wickedness and thereby in need of deliverance before we face the final judgment after we die. Ecclesiastes 9:5 “For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward…” Provision has to be made for our souls before we die and face the judgment. How do we do that? We have to believe that only God has the power to condemn or to free our souls while we are alive, if we wait until after we die it is too late. Today is the day of salvation do not put it off. Mathew 10:28 “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather FEAR (have a Reverential awe towards God) Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Mathew 11:29 “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Rest for our souls can only be found in the atoning blood of Jesus and can only be received by faith as we believe in our hearts that God raise Jesus from the dead and confess with our mouths that He is our Lord. Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED (your soul will be delivered from hell).” Now concerning the spiritual dynamics between Good and Evil and Love and Hate; when there is a healthy respect or godly fear of the law of God and of the final judgment, society functions on the premises that Love is Good and that the government’s concerns is for the well being of those they rule over; even within the enforcement of justice. Grace is the overall goal or remedy, that as long as there is life there is the hope for redemption for every lost soul. The nations whose governments functioned under the guidance of Judeo Christian values enjoyed by far the most liberty and prosperities ever known in the history of man. Psalm 2:1-3 “Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His anointed, saying, let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.” We are living in the presence of this prophecy being fulfilled, as one by one all the nations of the free world have turned their backs on the biblical principles that made them free and prosperous. What are the spiritual implications that we are experiencing as a result of their rebellion? We are in the transition of leaving behind love for what is good and entering into the depravity of hateful evil. The nations have fallen for the demonic delusion of good is bad and bad is good. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the LOVE OF THE TRUTH, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that THEY ALL may be CONDEMNED who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” Remember the Scripture that said: “There is no release from that war, and wickedness will not deliver those who are given to it.” Also, we see in our opening Scripture that as this transition is taking place it has repercussions upon the inhabitants of this earth: “Who cause the seat of violence to come near.” The seat of God’s judgment day gets closer and closer the more and more that wickedness increases on the land. But God is looking for repentance, a turning away from evil. Amos 5:4, 6 “For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: Seek Me and live. 6) Seek the Lord and live, lest He brake out like fire in the house of Joseph and devour it…” In the absence of a world-wide revival that would bring most of the nations of the world to their knees in true repentance—sad to say—this is it! The signs that we are rushing head long into the end of days are overwhelming. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 “BUT KNOW THIS, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. AND FROM SUCH PEOPLE TURN AWAY!” How do we keep ourselves from falling for this great delusion? Remember always the spiritual dynamics that are involved in what is taking place. Love vs. Hate and Good vs. Evil. We must resist the temptation to give into the rage of hate, by keeping God’s Word alive in our hearts: Always abiding in the love of God that preserves us. Habakkuk 3:2 “O Lord, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; IN WRATH REMEMBER MERCY.” 1 Peter 4:7-8 “But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And ABOVE ALL THINGS have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins.” As long as our moral compass is anchored in the love of God, we will always have a firm grip on reality and a firm hold on to what is good and thereby refrain from that which is not. Romans 12:1-2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be COMFORMED to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that GOOD and acceptable and perfect will of God.” We can then see that Hate and Evil always go hand in hand, we cannot have one without the other. Hatred is the personification of evil itself, we should never give in to the venom of hate. 1 John 4:19-20 “We love Him because He first loved us. If someone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” Every time that we express God’s love and goodness to others we are insulating ourselves from the toxicity of hate and evil. Such is the work of the spiritual dynamics between Love and Good. Psalm 85:10-12 “Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed. Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yes, the Lord will give what is GOOD; and our land will yield its increase.” Here we see the same spiritual dynamics at work, but this time for the Good of all mankind. The truth that springs upward from the earth is our faith in the Word of God, and heaven’s response is righteousness rained down from heaven upon us who faithfully believe and wait fervently for His appearing. Here is a prayer of gratitude from one of His maidservants: Luke 1:46-55 “And Mary said: My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; for behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name. and His mercy is on those who FEAR (have a Reverential awe towards God) Him from generation to generation. He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty. He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy, as He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed forever.” Back to Other Teachings

  • SPIRITUAL WARFARE BY PASTOR MARCOS | HoFM

Top of Page THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY SPIRITUAL WARFARE Jonah 2:8 “Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.” NIV Who could imagine that one simple verse of Scripture could pack so much truth. If you want a definition that will tell you the nuts and bolts of spiritual warfare, Jonah nailed it right on the head. There was once a man that was brought to the altar where a well-known evangelist was praying for the people after a service and the man’s family told the evangelist that the family member they brought before him was troubled by a demon, the evangelist laid his hands on the man’s head and said: In the name of Jesus I command you to leave this man right now, to which the man that was being prayed for responded while pointing at his own head; you stay right there you hear. It was kind of funny when the evangelist told the story many years later; but in reality that is at the root of why so many Christians fail in their battles to conquer their demonic tormentors. All the spiritual warfare tools at your disposal are of no avail if your right hand is telling the enemy to leave, meanwhile your left hand is telling your enemy to stay. Jonah did not just stumble into this revelation by chance, it was revealed to him while dealing with the consequences of his disobedience to God. Jonah 2:2 “...I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction, and He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and You heard my voice.” Jonah had some issues that he needed to work out, probably the most pressing of his issues was that he did not see eye to eye what the will of God was for his life. He was called to be a prophet, and when God sent him on an assignment that he personally disagreed with, he decided to go on a different direction. But even in his disobedience there was something that Jonah knew that perhaps many believers today do not know. And that is that when they are in open rebellion to the will of God for their lives, in reality what they are actually doing is getting deeper into idolatry and witchcraft. 1 Samuel 15:23 “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” The reason that Jonah said that those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs was because that is exactly what he had done; he had rejected the Word of the Lord for him, and just like it cost Saul his kingship it almost cost Jonah his life. The difference between Jonah and Saul was that Jonah understood what his sin of rebellion had caused and he repented, but as far as king Saul was concern even to his bitter end he consulted a witch in his search for God. The king could not tell the difference between light and darkness. Jonah 2:9 “But I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.” There are two crucial points that we need to learn if we are going to be successful in spiritual warfare: Number one is repentance, once our stubbornness and rebellion is exposed, we need to offer the sweet sacrifice of repentance and thanksgiving to the real God, the God that is convicting us by pointing out to us our sin. The second point is that it behooves us to recognize that Salvation can only come from God. Now stay with me, there is something deeper here that we need to understand because this is not as simple as we think it to be. In the spiritual realm there are only two forces at work that war against one another, light and darkness. You may say, well that is easy, not so, specially when the creatures of darkness can transform themselves into something that they are not, creatures of light. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” After reading those three verses we realize that spiritual warfare is not as easy as recognizing the difference between day and night, is it? But here is the key, in the end their work will always be one of rebellion against the Word of God. Once Jonah realized that, it was not hard for him to understand that repentance was more than being sorry for his rebellion but that it also required him to become obedient to the call of God, for after all obedience is better than sacrifice. Now let us examine how was it that Jonah got into the predicament that he got into, in other words, why did he disobey God’s plan for his life to begin with? Jonah 4:1-2 “But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he became angry. So he prayed to the Lord, and said, ‘Ah, Lord, was not this what I said when I was still in my country? Therefore I fled previously to Tarshish; for I know that You are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, One who relents from doing harm.’” Here Jonah really gets into what was really bothering him; God had called him to intercede for some really bad people and was told to go and preach to them that God was about to destroy them for the evil that they were perpetrating. Jonah, knowing that God is a merciful God who is full of compassion, One who relents from doing harm, thought that if he preached and they repented, that God would forgive them, and Jonah did not want that to happen and that is the reason why he fled to begin with. Here is the point that we need to glean and it comes from God’s very own perspective, not Jonah’s; Spiritual Warfare is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers! How can one be in the light of God’s mercy while wishing for the destruction of our fellow humans that walk in the darkness of this age? If God has been a merciful God to me, and He has, does He not want to show mercy also to my enemies who walk in darkness? What if He asks me to pray for those who have really hurt me? I know that He is a merciful God and that if I pray for them, and they repent, that He will forgive them immediately. But is that what I really want in my heart? Do I long for their pardon as much as God does? 1 John 2:9-10 “He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now (still in darkness). He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him (has been set free from idolatry. Zephaniah 1:3).” 1 John 4:20 “If someone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” So far the two aspects of spiritual warfare that we are discussing have to do with light and darkness. And the question that we pose is, if Satan and his ministers can transform themselves into creatures of light, how can we know whether we are walking in the light of God’s truth or abiding in the darkness of this world without even knowing it? And the answer is clear, if our focus is on the flesh, what transpires through the agency of man, then we are still in darkness. But if our focus is on the unseen, on what is taking place behind the curtains If you will, then we are poised to receive the revelation that comes to those who are abiding in the light of the truth of the Word of God. Let me bring this down to our present-day reality and try to explain why understanding spiritual warfare is so critical for us in the here and now. 1 Timothy 3:1, 5 “But know this, that in the last days (our present time) perilous times will come...having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” Here is what the light of the truth of the Word of God says, from such people turn away. So that when it comes to spiritual warfare, people are not the cause of the problems that we are facing as it pertains to who our enemies are, but the people that deny the reality of the spiritual problems that we are facing, from them we are to stay away, simply because they represent the false light. You see if there is no hell, that means that there is no spiritual warfare, so that by hanging out with that crowd you are out of the game before it even starts. Jonah 1:9 “So he said to them, ‘I am a Hebrew; and I fear the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.’” In chapter one Jonah is totally honest with his fellow shipmates about his circumstance and even tells them that they have to throw him overboard if they want to save their own lives. In the verse above he makes a bold declaration of who he is and of what he believes, it makes me wonder why was Jonah really fleeing from the will of God to begin with? Isaiah 36:20 “Who among all the gods of these lands have delivered their countries from my hand, that the Lord should deliver Jerusalem from my hand?” The king of Assyria was coming against Jerusalem one day, and he was bragging about his previous conquests and ended up insulting the Lord of Hosts. The king of Israel took those insulting words before the Lord and God sent an angel against the Assyrian camp and killed one hundred and eighty five thousand from his army in one night. The Assyrian king went back to Nineveh the capitol of Assyria where he was later killed. So that there was no love lost between these two people. So that the key for understanding spiritual warfare has to do with God’s timing. There is a time for war and there is a time for peace. Hanging around those who have already made up their minds before listening to the counsel of God in any given matter is a hindrance to those whose call is to battle against the forces of darkness that abide in the spiritual realm. Here are a few things that we should know about spiritual warfare: What is under God’s covering mercy today maybe under the wheels of God’s wrath tomorrow. That which is expected of us today may not be what is expected of us tomorrow. A life boat is only good when a ship is sinking, the rest of the time is an eye sore that occupies space. Real light will always expose the works of darkness. Knowing when it is God’s time for wrath or for mercy will insure that we do what is expected of us today, even if it is totally different than that which was expected from us yesterday. Knowing when a ministry ship is sinking or stuck on a sandbar will lead us inevitably to the life boat that will preserve us from spiritual harm. That is what walking in the light means, not stumbling over the works of darkness. If the essence of spiritual warfare is for me to rid myself of the things that hinder my walk with Jesus, so that I can fulfill His calling for my life, then knowing my position within His timing for my life is critical, especially if I am to know when I am ready from His perspective to either move, stay, or to advance into a previously unknown position that He wants me to occupy. Ephesians 1:17-18 “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.” Back to Deliverance Ministry

  • WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH ETERNITY | HoFM

Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH ETERNITY? Ecclesiastes 3:11 “...Also He has put eternity in their hearts...” Have you ever wonder what you would do if all of the sudden you found yourself with an unlimited amount of time...forever? I mean, let’s really think about it, a never ending life proposition would immediately arouse in any rationally thinking mortal human a variety of questions that are very relevant to the notion of immortality. Like...What kind of immortal life are we talking about? Will it include suffering and pain? What about sorrows and sicknesses? Is there going to be torment or tormentors in such an eternity? In the absence of any of the aforementioned, will I ever get bored in such an eternity? I mean, after all is said and done, how much harp playing can one human stand? It is bound to get to you after a while, isn’t it? Eternity is something that its very hard for us mortal humans to comprehend since we are surrounded by a world that is full of beginnings and endings. We see people that are near and dear to us leave this world, and they never come back. In one sense, life is turbulent like the weather in a Midwest state, if you don’t like the present condition, just hang around, for it will change, and usually not for the better. Ecclesiastes 3:14 “I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.” If there is an alarm that rings loudly in the hearts of men it is, It shall be forever, and our text makes it clear that God does this on purpose, so that Men should fear before Him. You see, according to the Bible, the human race in general, and individuals in particular, though we all had a beginning, we will never end for we are all eternal. And we have a choice as into which eternity we eventually end up in. An eternity that once we are in it, nothing can be added to it or taken away from it. So that we should not take it lightly, because sooner or later we will all enter into that eternal place. There are two eternal places to which we can go, and the choice as to which eternal place we enter is made here on the earth before we die, for that is when we enter into eternity, right after death. Luke 16:22-23 “So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes an d saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.” Jesus is telling us that there are two clear and distinct destinations for all humans after they die and enter into their eternal abode. One is a place of comfort and the other is a place of torments, plural. Luke 16:25 “...But now he (Lazarus) is comforted and you are tormented.” And not only is Jesus telling us about the difference between the two destinations but He is also testifying to the fact that, once you get there, there is no way to get out, you are there forever. Luke 16:26 “And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.” Outside of faith, humans seem to think that once we die, since we are not in our physical bodies anymore, that we somehow are not really alive anymore and that the so-call torments of hell are not really real, but rather, something imagined. From every experience of the faithful into the spiritual realm, of which there are many Scriptural references, the spiritual realm is always a lot more real than our present reality could ever be, and that view is confirmed by our next verse of Scripture. Luke 16:27-28 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’” It does not sound like the man in the torments of hell was imagining things, if anything, he sounded very logical by saying that if he could not escape the torments that he was experiencing, that at least a warning should be sent to his five brothers that were still alive, to keep them from coming into the reality of this place of which he knew his brothers, like himself before them, did not believe existed, even though the law of Moses spoke clearly about it and warned against it. Luke 16:29 “Abraham said to him, ‘they have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’” Out of the mouth of Jesus Himself, He is telling us that failure in our part to act upon what the Scriptures teach about eternity, that if we abdicate our responsibility to choose into which eternal destiny we want to abide, in accordance with what the Scriptures teach, that that failure will cause us to forfeit God’s eternal comfort and peace and will cause us to end up in that dreaded place of torment. Now why would someone fail to act upon such important matter as the one that deals with our future eternity? They may say that they don’t believe that there is an eternity to be had, but yet our opening Scripture declares that God has put eternity into our hearts, so that right from the get go they are in violation of the Holy Scriptures. Let us look at a few Scriptures that deal with this very important subject. Revelation 20:12 “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things that were written in the books.” Let us begin by establishing the fact that there is, according to Scripture, a final day of judgment coming, that it will comprise the physically resurrected bodies of all who were dead, that have been brought back to life to stand before the great white throne of God’s final judgment, in order for them to give an account for the actions of their lives while here on earth in their physical bodies. Revelation 20:13 “The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.” Let us also establish that this judgment, although it comprises the multitudes that died throughout the ages, now appearing in their resurrected bodies, that it will be a personal judgment for each one of them individually. Each one of them standing or falling based on each one’s individual actions. Revelation 20:15 “And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” So that all of those who ignored the instructions given by the Holy Scriptures on how to have one’s name written on the Book of Life, are cast into an eternity of torments with their eternally resurrected physical bodies into an Abyss from which they can never get out of. Revelation 20:10 “The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” So now that we have seen what this one eternity looks like, let us also take a sober look at the other eternity and see what it entails. Revelation 7:9-10 “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” What a contrast! You can hear the jubilation in the voices of all the redeemed from all the ages, rejoicing in the God who saved them, and in the Lamb who had delivered them out of the trials and tribulations that this world had put them through. Revelation 7:16-17 “They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” In the book of Luke chapter 16, Jesus told us about the man that ended up in Hades, how he was tormented by the flames and its heat, and how his desire was for Lazarus to dip his hand in some water and to touch his tongue with it, to relieve some of the torment that he was suffering. Here we see the opposite, not even the rays nor the heat from the sun is able to touch them, and they neither hunger nor thirst, for to them have been opened fountains of living waters. And next we see that God wipes away every tear from their eyes; the scars caused by all their pain and sufferings are finally removed as they move into a state of perfect bliss. 1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’” Do not even think of getting bored in this eternity; we need to let go of those antiquated images of what heaven is like, you know, like sitting on a cloud playing with the harp all day long. We need to wake up to the reality of how vast and how great the present creation is, and how much more formidable and perfect the new heavens and the new earth that we will live on for eternity are going to be. Our God is so vast, His love so profound, His goodness unending, that everyday single day with Him will be a brand new exciting day filled with astonishment and unending wonders, as we behold the great and awesome marvels that He performs continuously, but most of all our daily basking in the great and perfect manifestation of His love for us. Sign me up! You say, How do I get my name written in the Book of Life? Romans 10:9-11, 13 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, ‘Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame...’ For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’” Pray this prayer: (say this outloud) Dear Jesus, I confess with my mouth that You are Lord, and I believe in my heart that God has raised You from the dead. Therefore I now confess before You that I am a sinner and I ask that You forgive me all of my sins and that You cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Thank You Lord Jesus for forgiving me all of my sins and for cleansing me from all my unrighteousness. I declare that You are God, that You are good, and that You are Holy. I declare that You are my God, that You have been good to me, and that by the precious blood that Your Son shed for me, to cleanse me from all my sins, that You have made me holy and have written my name in the Lambs Book of Life. Hallelujah! 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” God willing, I will see you all who prayed this prayer for the first time in heaven someday soon. Amen! Back to End Times Teachings
