Man's Final Destiny: Revelation Unveiled The objective of Man’s Final Destiny is to present a clear, Spirit-led framework for understanding the Book of Revelation, equipping believers to recognize its chronological unfolding, prepare for Christ’s return, and stand firm as faithful witnesses in the last days. Man's Final Destiny: Revelation Unveiled Pastor Marcos Marrero January 26, 2026 Man's Final Destiny - Revelation Unveiled (Front Cover) Objective: The objective of Man’s Final Destiny is to present a clear, Spirit-led framework for understanding the Book of Revelation, equipping believers to recognize its chronological unfolding, prepare for Christ’s return, and stand firm as faithful witnesses in the last days. Synopsis: Man’s Final Destiny begins with a vivid personal vision in which the author encounters Jesus Christ in a life-changing revelation, igniting a lifelong mission to understand and teach the truths of end-time prophecy. From this foundation, the book provides an in-depth, expository exploration of Revelation, emphasizing its two-fold perspective: the physical events unfolding in history and the spiritual realities revealed from heaven. The book carefully constructs a chronological framework for Revelation, showing how events interconnect across time and dimensions. This approach enables the development of a prophetic timeline that aligns scripture with historical events and anticipates future fulfillment. Central themes include: The distinction between the faithful Philadelphia church and the lukewarm Laodicean church. The seamless transition of God’s representation on earth from the Church to Israel during the final days. The unveiling of the seven seals as a spiritual progression through the Church Age rather than merely future judgments. The role of the four horsemen as spiritual forces shaping history and preparing for the culmination of God’s plan. The dispensational “clock” that reveals God’s timing and alignment of human history with divine purpose. Through detailed scriptural interpretation, historical parallels, and prophetic insight, the author presents Revelation not as a confusing collection of visions but as a unified, living narrative pointing to Christ’s ultimate triumph and the fulfillment of God’s promises. At its heart, the book is both a warning and a call to readiness. It urges believers to recognize the signs of the times, strengthen their faith, and hold fast to the truth of God’s Word. By unveiling the mysteries of Revelation with clarity, Man’s Final Destiny seeks to prepare the Church for the return of Jesus Christ and inspire confidence in His eternal kingdom. Sample first pages of the Book/Manual: Personal Introduction It was early morning Sunday, February 12, 1989 in the Southern California city of Garden Grove, somewhere about 4:30 AM that I was dreaming about my little hometown of La Isabela where I was born and grew up, in the northern coast of central Cuba. It was one of those dreams that just seemed to keep on going all night long. It was a very dark night in the dream and my wife was walking with me. I was trying to get to “my father’s house,” that’s how I was referring to it in the dream even though in reality I always called that house “my home.” Since I was born in that house in 1947 and it was from the front porch of that same house that was built on stilts over the water, that I got in a small boat eighteen years later and came over to America where I was granted political asylum in 1965. In the dream there was a great deal of gunfire that had erupted throughout the entire small town, which made it very difficult to navigate the narrow streets to “my father’s house” where we would be safe. In the dream I was feeling so guilty that I had gotten my wife in such a mess, since in real life she refuses to travel to Cuba where she feels that it is not safe to go. Continuing with the dream, I knocked on the door of a house less than a block from where I was trying to go, and we were given shelter within that house. However, I was so restless that I kept pacing back and forth and could not find rest, trying to figure out how I was going to get us to “my father’s house.” Finally I got so exhausted that I found a chair in the kitchen where my wife had been sitting around a table and gratefully enjoying the company of our gracious hosts. As I sat down, my mind was still racing; I refused to engage in trivial conversation, keeping my focus on the dangers that surrounded us and on the goal of getting safely to my appointed destination. Realizing this, those who sat around the table asked me to teach them about all that was taking place and what it meant. Breathing a sigh of relief, I said to myself: “Finally someone is taking seriously all these events that encompass us and are now desirous to know what they mean.” In the dream I immediately began to tell them that these were the signs of the end times; I had barely spoken those words when all of the sudden the walls around me disappeared, the darkened skies rolled away in an instant and I was not dreaming anymore! It is so hard to accurately describe what takes place during a spiritual vision because what one experiences is usually lost in the narrative, since the feelings cannot be adequately explained. In an instant I found myself in a realm more real than anything I’ve ever encountered in my life. How could I explain the shock I experienced when faced with the empirical evidence of the existence of another dimension? I was in it! There is no human way to describe how the spiritual mind is able to process so much more information when heightened to the euphoric state of the dimension of the heavenly lights. Instantaneously I was able to think, reason, question, test, and apply myself to understand what was happening within me in many different levels simultaneously, while at the same time observing and participating in the external events that were unfolding around me. John 21:25 “And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.” This Scripture is not an exaggeration! The events that take place in one second of time in the spiritual realm in which Jesus operates, would take millions and millions of words to properly detail, catalogue and explain. Within seconds my eyes saw Him! As the skies receded and I was looking up into the bright white sky, Jesus came out into full view out of the east. He was walking in the air towards me at a very rapid pace but yet at the same time, it was like if He was moving at the speed of light. I know that what I am saying does not make sense, but like I said, extra dimensional experiences elude natural explanation. It was like if someone was rapidly walking on top of a flat train cart going forward while the train is moving at an incredible rate of speed. I was able to perceive both movements at the same time that they were occurring even though He was headed towards me on nothing but bright sky. I feel so inadequate trying to explain the multitudes of feelings that I experienced the very instant that I first saw Him. Next month it will be nineteen years since I had the vision and this is the very first time that I am truly making an effort to write about it in detail. And the only reason that I am doing it, is to try and put into context the why I am writing this expository work on the book of Revelation. My desire is to prepare you for what I believe to be the time for the soon coming of our King and Savior, even our Lord Jesus Christ! A variety of things happened within me when I first saw Him; there was no order as to how they happened, I was able to experience them simultaneously. I remembered seeing His eyes intensely focus on me. The expression on His face was: I AM coming to get you! I was trembling to my very core. There is a Scripture in Isaiah 6:5 that really nails this experience: “So I said: ‘Woe is me, for I am undone!’” I swear I could feel every cell in my body trembling so hard that they became unglued from one another, while at the same time marveling at the fact that I, for the first time in my life was fully aware of how many of them it took to form my physical body. While I was experiencing both, the joy and the fear of His glorious countenance from a still great distance away with a kind of natural telescopic vision, a very intellectual discussion was taking place in my mind as to whether I should try to remember what Jesus looked like and be tempted to make an mental image of Him when I came back, or erase His likeness from my cognitive mind so that I would not have to deal with that aspect of the vision when I came back. So here I was fully aware that what I was experiencing was not the actual rapture but a rehearsal of it, with the ability to retain or release certain parts of the experience. From the time that I first saw Him and had the manifold experiences of which I just shared a couple with you, to the time that He reached the place where I was standing there could not have been more than a couple of seconds. It happened so fast that even though my mind was processing information at a great rate of speed, He was much faster than even my ability to turbo-think. It was like a violent collision, He came from a great distance away with great velocity; without slowing down He crashed into my chest. That was how it felt at first, but then I realized that it was His right hand that had reached and grabbed my chest as He flew by. The closer that He got to me the more that I trembled, that’s when I realized that His holiness was too glorious for my carnality and the cells that form my body were rapidly dying their own individual deaths. I found myself going from zero to the speed of light in less than a microsecond. The speed into which I was suddenly thrust into caused my tongue to flatten like a pancake within my mouth, causing me to feel the empty cavities of missing teeth feeling up. In an instant everything that died became alive. I could feel new teeth growing inside of my mouth, and every cell in my body became reanimated into a perfect man. His touch together with His glorious light brought forth an indescribable new life. While I have been describing the physical aspect of my experience in the catching away, there were other things taking place as well in my spiritual side. The closer that Jesus came to me, the more aware that I became of my spirit man within me. I was able to experience the “real me” for the first time in his full entity. The more of the physical “me” that died, the stronger the spiritual “I” was able to emerge, such dichotomy cannot be properly explained, it has to be experienced. But this one thing I know for certain, in the midst of the torrential flood of emotions that I was experiencing, a vigorous new man rose up from within me, and with a strong masculine voice and with uninhibited zeal, he cried out incessantly with strong conviction: “HALLELUJAH! HE KEPT HIS PROMISE!” Over and over again he repeated this shout with greater exuberance each time he shouted it. The duration of the entire vision, not counting the dreaming part, could not have lasted over a minutes’ time. But in those precious few seconds I experienced more love and more fear, more death and more life, than I could ever experience if I could live hundreds and hundreds of years. I now have a totally different concept of reality, and an ability to understand visions from a very different perspective as you will see as you read my rendering of the visions detailed for us in the book of Revelation by the apostle John. My wife was abruptly awakened when she felt my body shaking uncontrollably as I was lying on the bed. She reached over and grabbed me on the chest to wake me up. My chest and belly areas were so sensitive from experiencing Jesus’ touch, that when she grabbed me, I screamed so loud that it brought me out of the vision. After experiencing that other dimension, coming back to this one was so disappointing, but my experience was so vivid that I could not stop talking about it to my sleepy wife at 4:45 in the morning. I got up and went into my living room to pray, but I could not stand still not even for a second. I phoned my mom and woke her up crying that Jesus was coming soon and that she needed to get ready, and it was before five am. I was so charged from the experience that I repented before God of all the people that I had neglected to witness to. I swore that I would tell everyone I knew about Jesus plus everybody else; I was so on fire with the zeal of God that the only thing that mattered to me at the time was winning souls for Jesus Christ. Whether good or bad that euphoria waned as the day passed. If I didn’t come down I know they would have locked me up. As I taught adult Sunday school that morning, people were staring at me in a weird sort of way, no doubt wondering what kind of happy influence I was under. By the time evening came I got in bed early so that I could feel closer to the experience. As I lay there, my belly and chest areas were so sensitive again that I could not bring myself to close my eyes, fearful that he would touch me again, and just as fearful that He would not. • THE POWER WITHIN | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

THE POWER WITHIN The objective of this teaching is to reveal that true Christianity is not sustained by human strength or religious effort, but by the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within the believer. Pastor Marcos shows that this divine power transforms us from the inside out, enabling us to live in love, walk by faith, and fulfill the law of Christ. The lesson emphasizes the distinction between self-generated religion and Spirit-empowered Christianity, leading believers to depend fully on God’s Spirit for life and ministry. THE POWER WITHIN Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of this teaching is to reveal that true Christianity is not sustained by human strength or religious effort, but by the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within the believer. Synopsis: In The Power Within, Pastor Marcos Marrero draws from Ephesians 3:20 to highlight the supernatural strength available to every born-again believer. Unlike religion, which relies on human effort and adherence to doctrine, Christianity is empowered by God Himself through the indwelling Holy Spirit. Pastor Marcos explains that when we are born again, we are immediately filled with the Spirit in essence form, but this power must grow and manifest through faith and love. He distinguishes between religion’s self-driven works and Christianity’s Spirit-driven life, pointing to Jesus’ command for His disciples to wait for the promised power of the Spirit (Acts 1:4-8). Pastor Marcos clarifies the progression of the Spirit’s work—moving from essence to presence to power—so that believers may be transformed from a nature of hate into one rooted and grounded in love. The lesson further addresses the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the laying on of hands, and the operation of spiritual gifts, reminding us that all gifts must be exercised in love. Pastor Marcos concludes that the believer’s power is not in knowledge alone, but in the Spirit’s active work within, producing love, faith, and the fulfillment of Christ’s law. Inspired Teaching: Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” The difference between religion and Christianity, is that religion fills the head with knowledge, while true Christianity fills the believer’s heart with power from God. Remember how Jesus told His disciples after they had been with Him for over three years of indoctrination into the principles of Christianity, that they needed to go to Jerusalem and wait there to be endued with power from above. Acts 1:4-5, 8 “And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, ‘which,’ He said, ‘you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now...But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…’” In religion, the power that enables the believer to carry out the doctrinal duties that his religion requires of him, is derived from the commitment of such believer to the doctrines that he has been taught. His fervor for what he believes and has been taught, is what drives his motives to attain what is required of him, but he himself provides the power. In Christianity, we have doctrines, and they require fervor, but the power to attain what is required of its believers is provided by God Himself. Now why is that? Ephesians 3:19 “To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Is a matter of love and hate! If the human nature had good in it, then a good doctrine would incite that good nature to do the righteous requirements of the Christian doctrine. But the Bible declares that there is no one, no not one, that does good. So, to entrust a good doctrine upon those who are incapable to live up to its godly requirements would be folly. Romans 3:10 “As it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no, not one.’” Now in religion that is not a problem, if those who practice such religion are in it for self-gain. Whether it is to lord it over others, or to gain profit from its practice, or just simply to make the claim that they are better than others because of the accomplishments that they themselves are able to achieve through their religious convictions. 1 Corinthians 15:19 “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.” True Christianity is rooted in unconditional love, that is why true Christianity cannot be exercised by self-generated power. Those who try to live up to the requirements of Christian doctrine by their own power are destined to fail, for it is an impossibility. The only way to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge is by being filled with all the fullness of God. When we become born again Christians, the Lord provides us with His Spirit, He fills us with Him, so that we can fulfill the law of Christ which is rooted and grounded in His love. Ephesians 3:17 “That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.” So that we can fulfill the requirements of the Christian doctrine. Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” But we have to believe that it is the Spirit of God who empowers us from within to fulfill that which is required of us. Now there are questions as to when we are filled with the power of God’s Spirit, and as to what the difference is, if any, about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I want to shed light on these questions in this lesson. The first thing that we need to be aware of is that during the ministry of Jesus, the believers had not yet received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. For the Holy Spirit could not come until after Jesus left. John 7:38-39 “‘He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water’. But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” Jesus told His disciples that He was going to Jerusalem to die for men’s sins, and then He told them that He would not leave them comfortless, but that they should wait for the Promise of the Father, that is to be filled with the Spirit and with power. Now since Jesus has already been glorified, all those of us who believe in Jesus and become born again, are immediately filled with God’s Holy Spirit and power. 1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.” One cannot be a true Christian unless he/she is born of the One Spirit and made part of the body of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:19 “And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.” It is very clear then, that within all the born-again believers resides the power of God in essence form: according to the power that works in us, but notice how our opening text words it, the power that works in us. Works implies that a progression is taking place, as in a work in progress, as I wrote in my last lesson on the deliverance page, the renewing of the Holy Spirit goes from essence to presence, to power, but it is always according to the power that works in us, because of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit through our born-again experience. What is the working of the Spirit trying to accomplish in us? It is working to transform us from the old nature of hate into the new nature of love. Even though His power will always be present in us who have been born of His Spirit in essence form, His presence in us will not always be evident, much less His power, if we are not fulfilling the law of Christ. Galatians 5:16, 25 “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh...If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Here we see then that it is possible to have the Spirit of God in us, and not be walking according to the Spirit. How do we fail to walk in the Spirit of God? When we fail to walk by faith and to abide in love! That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love. Love is the manifestation of the presence of Jesus in us, and faith enables His power to be manifested in us and through us. That is why we are commanded to be filled with the full manifestation of His Spirit. Ephesians 5:18 “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.” Dissipation means to break up into different parts, if we walk to fulfill the lust of the flesh instead of walking after the Spirit, we separate the essence of the power that works within us, by preventing the love of God from manifesting itself, thereby disqualifying the power of faith. What about the baptism of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands? 1 Timothy 4:14 “Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.” Since all born again believers have the essence of the Spirit within them, all are qualified to receive the anointing power, as long as they continue to walk by the power of faith and in the Spirit of love. We need to recognize also that there are diverse gifts that come with the essence of the Spirit within us, once we become born again, and those gifts are available to those who believe. These gifts are activated by words of prophecy and by the laying on of the hands of the eldership, those who are spiritually mature in Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:1, 31 “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant...But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.” Paul tells us that there are gifts that are available to all believers, he does not want us to be ignorant, or to ignore them, and he wants us to desire the best gifts that are available to us, but then he adds this: And yet I show you a more excellent way. 1 Corinthians 13:1 “...But have not love…” The essence of love is the manifestation of His presence, if we abide in total unconditional love, then everything that we are or have belongs to Him. It does not matter what gift we have as long as is the one that He wants us to have. For by faith we believe that whatever gift He gives us will be the best for us to glorify His holy name. For details about the gifts and their operation go to the Manual’s page in the houseoffaithministries.org web page, open the Intercessors Manual and go to the chapter titled Application of the Gifs of the Holy Spirit. To this date it is the most downloaded of all the books and manuals that I have written. Previous Next Home

DO YOU WANT TO BE FREE The objective of this teaching is to reveal how unbelief, misplaced trust, and personal choices create barriers that keep believers in bondage. By using Scripture, testimony, and practical illustrations, the message aims to help Christians recognize these obstacles, strengthen their faith, and walk in the freedom that Jesus Christ has already provided. < Back DO YOU WANT TO BE FREE Minister Lisa Kane September 15, 2023 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to reveal how unbelief, misplaced trust, and personal choices create barriers that keep believers in bondage. By using Scripture, testimony, and practical illustrations, the message aims to help Christians recognize these obstacles, strengthen their faith, and walk in the freedom that Jesus Christ has already provided. Synopsis: In this message, Lisa Kane challenges believers with the powerful question: “Do you want to be free?” Drawing from John 12:40 and other Scriptures, she explains how hardened hearts and unbelief prevent many from experiencing healing, peace, and deliverance. Just as rulers in Jesus’ day valued the approval of men over God, many today place more trust in doctors, medication, or worldly systems than in Christ as their ultimate healer. Lisa shares her personal testimony of overcoming depression and later walking away from dependence on multiple medications, illustrating how faith in Jesus—rather than reliance on man’s report—brings true freedom. She shows how unbelief blinds people, while faith, strengthened through God’s Word and testimonies, releases healing and restoration. Through biblical examples of the disciples’ hardened hearts and the miracles Jesus performed, Lisa emphasizes that unbelief limits God’s work, but faith unlocks His power. The message concludes by urging believers to make a choice: let go of fear, doubt, and self-imposed chains, and fully trust Jesus as Lord over their health, mind, and life. True freedom comes when we believe His Word, speak it with authority, and walk in the victory already secured through the cross. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane. I'm recording this on Friday, September 15, 2023. Welcome. This message is called, "Do you want to be free?" It's a very good question to ask because did you know that you're putting your own obstacles in front of your freedom? Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We know that your word does not return void. We know that your word is true. We know that we can believe and have faith in you, Father God. So, I do pray and ask that you help us with our unbelief. Raise our faith. Raise our belief and let us hear your testimony and know that you are true and that you are real. And that yes, we can live in freedom from bondage from sickness, from disease, from any chains that are holding us back in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture here. We're going to be at John 12 and 40. He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, lest they should see with their eyes, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn so that I should heal them. Jesus is talking, but he's also quoting the scripture from Isaiah. So, he's already said this through Isaiah well before his crucifixion at the cross. So the question is do you want to be free? There are things that we put in place of Jesus will believe a doctor's report over what Jesus says. Now in this message I'm going to share my testimony. Uh I have a couple areas of testimony I want to share with you. So I'm going to have less scriptures than I ordinarily do when I teach. But I think the power of the testimony is going to help you with your faith. And then at the same time, I'm going to show you scripture of why how Jesus was able to heal and then how he wasn't able to heal and the things that we put in place. So I want to see the scripture one more time. Look at this. He blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts un lest they should see with their eyes. So in other words, if you see, look at that. And if you understand with your heart and you turn, get away from what you're keeping yourself in bondage from so that I should heal them. You can be healed. You see, your unbelief is what's keeping you from being healed. Let's go look at things that we put above Jesus that keeps us from our healing. Let's start here in John 12:42 and 43. Nevertheless, even among the rulers. So he's talking about all these things that he did that were miracles and he says nevertheless. So these guys saw the miracles. Nevertheless, even among the rulers, many believed in him, but because of the Pharisees, they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue, for they love the praise of men more than the praise of God. They didn't want to be kicked out of the synagogue. So instead of believing in him for one, their salvation, for eternal life, but two, for the deliverance and the healing from whatever is keeping them bonded, they chose the synagogue to believe. We can put this in another application. Do you choose the doctor? Do you believe what the doctor tells you? Or do you believe that Jesus is your doctor and your healer? You know, Isaiah tells us that it was by his stripes we are healed. Peter tells us that it was by his stripes we were healed. Fact that it's quoted a second time is very powerful. His stripes is what healed us. You can be healed. And bondage um let's talk a little bit about bondage chains. When you're in bondage, there's several things that are going on. You are struggling believing. You're struggling being well because you're always sick. You're struggling with things that are going on in your life. I It's drama after drama after drama and you can't figure out why. You have no peace and no joy. Those are telltale signs that you are in bondage. And you're in bondage because of you. You did it. You thrive on that drama. So what happens is you put yourself in a situation where you make it so that drama happens more. I know of a couple who is struggling right now and um so working on helping prevent divorce. The other is now going to try to film the other. You see they're promoting their drama. They're getting sympathy for their drama. And because they're getting that sympathy, they don't want that drama to go away. And then of course, if the doctor's telling you you have cancer, you know, there's things going on in the back of your mind. The reason you went in to be tested, you knew something was up. So here you are is you already are thinking in your mind, I knew it. That's why the report says what it says. Don't you know that Jesus is a healer? He's your healer. The bonds and then the the decisions that you make, you know, if you were to remove that item from your life, would you get sympathy and love from anyone else in the world? You see, there's a big problem. We love the interaction with our psychiatrist. It's our friend. We want to be there. Instead of having the same interaction only better with Jesus, you pick and you choose and you put yourself in bondage. So when you do something like that, what is it that you need to do to get out of that? Because it's now your problem. You did it. You got to get yourself out. Now Jesus is there to help you, but he's already given you all the tools in the word of God. And I'm going to show you even the disciples struggled with this. Well, let's let's go here to Mark 6:52. For they had not understood about the loaves because their heart was hardened. Just did a teaching on this. This is where he taught the five or fed the 5,000 um five loaves and two fish I believe it was. And as they had 12 baskets left over of food, bread and fish, and the disciples hearts were hardened. They didn't pause. They didn't think about it. They didn't let it impact their heart. So, they didn't believe, but they were witnesses to it. So, Jesus is identifying the hardness of their heart. Let's continue on. Now, further along, we're in Mark 8. Look at verses 17- 21. But Jesus being aware of it said to them, "Why do you reason because you have no bread?" So here they're going into um an area that they're going to teach and the disciples forgot to bring bread. They've already fed 5,000. Look what he says here. Why do you reason because you have no bread? You see Jesus asked a question here about the leaven and the Pharisees. You can go read this all in context. Homework for you is what I give you. And because their heart, their mind went to, oh, he found out we forgot the bread. And so he he knows, he says, look, why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Is your heart still hardened? You see, he's telling you, you are just witnesses to some pretty good miracles, and your heart is still hardened. Does Does miracles really work? Do you know how many people will reject a video that they see? Let's say even in the back of my mind, I saw a video of a woman's arm being restored. It was um she was born with it twisted and and but you can just see it untwisted, but sometimes I wonder is that fake? But I I always go back to no, that was real. And I believe and the reason I see that is because of the the other context behind the video. So, I believe, but there are many who won't. They'll say that's a hoax. This one wasn't a hoax. Let's continue on. Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? You see, he's now pointing it back to the disciples. This is your problem. You're the one who is purposely forgetting. You're the one who is purposely hardening your heart. Now, continue on with the scripture. We're in verse 19. When I broke the five loaves for the 5,000, how many baskets full of fragments did you take of it? And they said to him, 12. And then also, when I broke the seven for the 4,000, "How many large baskets full of fragments did you take him?" And they said, "Seven." And he said to them, So he said to them, "How is it you do not understand?" You see, you should understand that's a miracle. Jesus blessed bread and he kept giving it out. Imagine if you bless your body with good health. It keeps getting blessed and it keeps getting multiplied. Do you not see the healing? All it takes is you blessing yourself and remembering. Imagine saying Jesus is the son of God. And he is Lord over cancer. He is Lord over this body. He is Lord over my mind. He is Lord over my heart. This is the power of the word of God. And you need to remember it because as you forget, your hearts become hardened. And what happens when you're forgetting? What's causing you to forget? Your eyes are on the world. Your eyes are not on the scripture. Your eyes are not remembering. This is why I want to share my testimony. one, I want to remember what the Lord has done in my life. At the same time though, I want you to hear the testimony and I want you to believe because you were already healed. You're already free. You're free. You just don't know it yet, but you already are. And your words can make you free. Look at Matthew 13:57 and 58. So they were offended at him. These are the Pharisees, the Sadducees, and these are the people in his own hometown. He grew up with these people. This is Jesus in his own town. Look what he says. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house. Now he did not do many works there because of their unbelief." So your unbelief prevents God from healing you. You see, you choose to believe the doctor. You don't choose to believe Jesus. And because of that decision, you are now in unbelief. Did you hear that? I want you to remember this. You're now in unbelief. Well, how do I get out of that unbelief? You You've got to now make a new decision. You need to undo the decision you made. You have to forget. See, he's you already know how to forget. Forget what the doctor told you. If you can forget Jesus and his testimonies and his power of his word, you can certainly forget the doctor. You believe it so much you don't want to forget. You believe it so much that you hold on to it dear for dear life. So when people at church pray over you, you're like, "Oh, I just can't. I know it ain't going to work. Why am I here? This is embarrassing. Do you see what you're doing to your own life? And then you wonder why you're in the situation. Look to yourself. Look to your unbelief. This is very, very powerful. I want to show you something else here. Mark 16:14. Later he appeared to the 11. This is after he rose from the dead. Okay? He is risen from the dead. Watch what he says to his disciples later. He appeared to the 11 as he sat at the table and he rebuked he rebuked his own disciples. Jesus is rebuking you right now for your lack of unbelief or your lack of belief as unbelief. And he rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had risen. The people are telling he's risen. He's risen. No, I don't believe it. I saw him die. And and that is their physical proof that they're believing. They're now believing their own eyes, their own witness. I saw him die. They didn't remember what he said to them. They were in unbelief. You know what that is? In order for you to remember what Jesus says, you have to spend time in the Bible over and over again until it impacts here and here. That's the only way you're going to remember what he says. This is part of the relationship factor that you need to have. This is also the part that leads you to freedom. You do not need to be in bondage. You see, he's going to teach you in that relationship how to use your words to prevent you from getting into the situation and then to undo what you've already done. You did this. Now, I want to show you um another event that Jesus dealt with. Uh we're going to do this from Matthew 14:34 and 36. I want you to see how this goes. When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Guanesseret. And when the men of that place recognized him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to him all who were sick, and begged him that they might only touch the hem of his garden garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well. Now, we just saw where they didn't believe and he couldn't do any miracles because they didn't believe. Now he's in a region that says they believed and they were bringing the sick left to him, left and right to him. You had the woman with the issue of blood. If only I could touch the hem of his garment. You saw that referring to her there. You you have the situation where two men brought their paralyzed friend and had to climb the roof and open the roof and bring him down in front of Jesus for Jesus to heal him. And you know what? in the woman with the issue of the blood and this paralyzed man. Jesus didn't heal them. He said your ma your faith made them healed. Well, they were whole because of their faith. They believed because they were hearing testimonies and to them all they had to do was get them to Jesus and all Jesus did was acknowledge your faith healed them. In other words, you got to get to Jesus. Find your way into the word of God. Read and believe. And I mean believe it from cover to cover. And don't believe it as stories. Believe it as events. As of the living word of God that these are true events. This is history written and that you can speak it and have it over your life. Now why did this group of people believe? There was testimony going around. Look Mark 5:16-17 and Luke 8 and37. And those who saw it told him how it happened to him who had been demonpossessed and about the swine. Then they began to plead with him to depart from the region. Do you see it? Go read the event of Jesus casting out a demon called Legion. And that he told the legion they can go into these pigs. And the pigs ran off the cliff and were killed. Those people that saw that said, "You need to leave." Look it. They began to plead with him to depart from their region. They saw this powerful miracle. They see this miracle. They see power. They see authority. And they say, "Get away. I don't want to have anything to do with you." Look also in Luke 8:37. Then the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the gatherines asked him to depart from them for they were seized with great fear and he got into the boat and returned. Now he's going to return to the other side. He had crossed this uh lake went from one side to the other. He cast out this demon. They didn't believe. They said get go away. So he goes back to the other side. In the meantime that demonpossessed man asked you and this is Homer. I want to give this to you because I want to share my testimony and give the time for the testimony. He this demonpossessed man who's now free. He's no longer in bondage. He asked Jesus, "Can I go with you?" Jesus said, "Stay here. I need you to tell I want you to show yourself to the people and I want you to tell them what happened to you." And so he stayed. And so when, watch this, Luke 8:38-4. Now the man from whom the demons had departed begged him that he might be with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, "Return to your own house and tell what great things God has done for you." And he went his way and proclaimed the throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. So it was when Jesus returned that the multitude welcomed him for they were all await. They were all waiting for him. Now they sent him out. They were afraid. Now they're welcoming him because they're finally realizing this man is truly healed. And if he was healed, I can be healed. Now, when Jesus was quoting Isaiah earlier, look at what else is in that same chapter or earlier in Isaiah, excuse me, Isaiah 610. Make the heart of this people dull and their ears heavy and shut their eyes. Look at this. Lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and return and be healed. You can be healed if your eyes you can see with your eyes. You can hear with your ears. You understand in your heart and return. Return to who? Return to Jesus. Now Isaiah is talking to the nation of Israel. He's telling them to return to God. Same thing. Jesus is saying return to me and I can heal you. You have to deal with your unbelief. So let's talk about belief and decisions. And and I'm going to go into my testimony. Let me go to my earliest testimony. So over 30 years ago, I was dealing with depression. Didn't even know it. All I know is for about three weeks there, I was an ugly person. very ugly. And I went to the Lord and you know I always had a relationship with the Lord. I became a believer when I was six years old. I was water baptized when I was nine. And um I'm a I was married at this point when I was doing this. So early on in my marriage, too. But anyways, I remember um praying to God. I always have time with the Lord, always share time with him. And um I asked, "What's going on with me?" And I clearly I hear and understand from him whether it's a voice in my head or what I don't know all I know is I hear and say depression and my first reaction was oh no no no no that's not who I am you see as a believer in Christ I already knew who I am and it was not a depressed individual I may not have been living in joy. Yes, I was a mother at the time. Yes, I was married. But I knew I'm not a depressed individual. So, I decided to go deal with it. I went up to my bedroom, told my husband, "Leave me alone for a little while. I got to deal with this." Shut the door, and uh I went before the Lord, prayed, and then I said out loud straight up, "Demon, depression, you're not welcome here in the name of Jesus." And then I said it again. And then I said it again because I wasn't seeing anything happening. And I was like, "Nope, nope. We're not done." And in the spirit, basically what I did was I grabbed that demon by the front of his shirt and I beat the living whatever out of him because I kept saying it over and over again. And I refused to let him stay there. This was my faith that I was building up with Jesus. And you know, I went to bed that night laying there because I still hadn't seen anything. I just knew it wasn't going to happen. I already knew, nope, not going to have this problem. And I'm laying there and I went to sleep, still thinking it in my mind. Fell asleep thinking it in my mind, saying it in my mind. Get out of here, de. You're not welcome here. That's it. That's it. When I woke up that next morning, I'm going tell you right now, you want to feel freedom, you need to do that. Do that over depression. Do that over any um suicidal thoughts you're facing, just keep saying that over and over again. Go to bed that way in the name of Jesus. Make sure you use the name of Jesus. I woke up feeling fantastic. There was no more darkness. There was no more depression in me. And in fact, my physical body felt like I had been in a boxing match. Remember I told you I grabbed it by the shirt? I bet every punch I hit him with, he hit one back at me. But you know what? I've never dealt with it again. It tries to creep up every once in a while and I I look at it like, I already kicked your butt. Get out of here. That is a testimony. And by the way, for anyone who has seen me later in life, didn't know me then, and you see me now, you know that I walk in joy. that I have a smile on my face often when I don't I may be dealing with something and I just go to the Lord and that is my testimony there. Now I've also have been teaching and saying that sin has consequences for diseases and that you need to cast them out but it has to do with unbelief and it has to do with the words that you say. So here comes the next part of my testimony and this just happened this year. This is why I'm teaching this. So remember the question of this message is do you want to be free? So I had surgery like 10 year uh in 2010 I had uh four discs fused in my neck. Technically I shouldn't be able to do any of that. Uh I remember seeing a particular doctor for some dizziness at one time and they make you move your head get the crystals back where they belong and what have you. And he's like wow you you have a lot of movement. You can move. I go yeah well I follow the instructions. instructions told me to stretch and and I believed the doctors, okay? I believed I trusted in the doctors. I've been going to the doctor since I was young. So, you know, but as time went on, uh I was told, you know, I had heart palpitations. They put me on a heart monitor. I had heart issues when my daughter was born. So, I always knew in my mind I was going to be dealing with the heart. I'm g tell you those words affect you. So I had these palpitations and uh they monitor gave me medication for it because there was proof. Remember what I said. Do you believe the doctors? Do you believe what you think you know is true? Here I was in that mentality and uh you know they get you in with that. I had a lot of bladder infections back then too and I had to deal with all of that. Always getting antibiotics, always going in, always asking questions. Why? Why? Why? Why? And then of course as they do your physical, well, we need to do your physical. Oh, your cholesterol is high. Oh, your sugar is high. Next thing I know, I'm on cholesterol medication and I was on um diabetes medication. And then, you know, I was having the hot flashes and menopause and what have you. Now I was on hormonal medication. That was me up to uh about March of this year, end of February, early March of this year. And uh I decided I didn't want to deal with that anymore. And and I knew I can overcome because you know what? After I had that next surgery, I probably was on that tramodol stuff for like six, seven years, painkiller. And I finally decided to stop taking that and I did fine, successful, you know, was a little tough there for a few days, but then get past it and move on. And I remember you know thinking all right I have overcome so many things why and it dawned on me you know why am I taking all these medications and I decided no nope nope here comes that attitude do what attitude do you have well the doctor said I'm gonna tell you right now I wouldn't trust and believe in the doctor for everything granted there are times that doctors are need you cut off your arm or something you need a doctor. Okay, cut off a toe. You need a doctor. But for other things, there's things that they don't know. And even, you know, when I say cut off an arm or a a toe, remember Peter, the ear of the servant, he cut off in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus picked up the ear and put it back on. He was healed. So don't let me limit you in what you can believe. Okay? Don't let yourself limit you on what you can believe either. gotta think God like if he can create this world. He's your doctor. So I decided, you know, if I can cast out depression, I can definitely cast out diabetes and cholesterol. And I tried. Spent the whole evening. Went to bed thinking that same thing. Woke up next morning, nothing happened. I was like, "What's going on, Lord?" So in February of this year, got out here. Uh, I went to um Missouri. We were looking for a place to live. We ended up moving out here and um we went to a church called James River Church. I went and got prayed over by one of the elders or prayer workers there. And you know, it's interesting what he tells me. He told me to do the exact same thing I had already done with depression. Go in, cast it out. Of course, he's telling me monitor your meter and watch it and watch the numbers come down. So, I go home. We get back to Southern California and I'm watching this meter. I did the same thing. Went cast it out. Watch the meter for the week and nothing happened. And I'm sitting there like, "All right, Lord. I don't know what's going on here, but something's up." And so I started praying and I was curious. I'm like, "Lord, you said I was already healed. I should be healed. This should have worked. I've been in prayer. I declared the name of Jesus. These are things I've been teaching and preaching, by the way, for many years. I should be able to apply his word to my life and live it free. I should not be in bondage to medications I have to take to make my body operate on earth that he made my body for. I shouldn't have allergies. I shouldn't have anything. I shouldn't even get a headache to to be honest. I should not. And I remember, you know, I started seeing videos come across my um social media feed, videos about the hoax of cholesterol. Found out in researching that the brain is coated in a layer of cholesterol. And the biggest side effect for cholesterol reducing medications was Alzheimer's. Now, I had seen my mother-in-law pass away from Alzheimer's and I was like, "Wait, what?" And by the way, I had been taking I finally uh for like two months there I took it every other day. I was getting lightheaded and I knew it was cholesterol medication because my diet was see I was already being healed and I didn't even realize what was going on and I was getting lightheaded and I remember the physician's assistant that I met with over diabetes, they go over all your other medications with you faithfully, too. Oh, why didn't you get your cholesterol filled? I go, well, I'm only taking one every other day now instead of one every day. Oh, you can't do that. Go make me lightheaded and oh, but we have to run tests to see. Um, anyways, I said, I I'll make an appointment with the doctor and got off the phone with her. And so I remember learning about that and uh you know realizing on that cholesterol things like uh I remember Barbara O'Neal talking about it coming from down from oh it used to be you can have a cholesterol number 300 then it was 200 then it was 196 and I was like are they picking numbers out of the hat or did they run some tests here and that was the thing is they could not provide the test that showed that it had anything to do with you know heart disease. And then um for the diabetes, the Lord was reminding me of some things. I was thinking of the conversation I had with my doctor previously. He was talking about people who are 80 years old and older and that their A1C can be 8.0, not a not below seven. He says the reason for that is because they get too laded and they can fall, break their hip. they're at a greater risk of that than heart disease. And I'm sitting there going, "Wait a second." And I pause. My my thought process all of a sudden went, "Wait a minute. They're 80 years old and older. They made an adjustment for them. Why didn't they make an adjustment between men and women? We're different sexes. We should have different levels. We're built different. We have different hormones. H why does it everybody has to be 7.0? And that's when I started realizing well 7.0 and lower for A1C. That's when I started realizing every time I hit that 6.9 they changed medication where I was back over seven because I got it down pat. I mean I was good with that medication. I was getting up faithfully every morning at 5 5:30 and my blood sugar was always around 80 79 to 81 always I I was hitting my targets believe you and me I was doing very well I had this down pat and even when they change your medication would take me about six months or so I'd get it back down but I'm realizing all of this and then there I was either driving to church or driving home and this is when the Lord I was praying And I was like, Lord, I'm not understanding what's going on here. And I said, why can't you make this meter match what the doctor's saying? And the epiphany was, I'm your god. I'm your doctor. Do you really think they know what your sugar levels should be? Do you really trust that they know what numbers your body is supposed to be? And I had this vision of like taking a Rolls-Royce to a Toyota Camry or Toyota company to fix a Rolls-Royce when in reality I should be taking back the car to its original maker company for service and repairs. And all of a sudden, I'm thinking, I didn't I'm not taking my body to Jesus. And then with all the epiphies I was having, it dawned on me. I didn't have diabetes to cast out in the first place. They were diagnosing me this just to put me on medication so they can make money and I have to live on this stuff. Do you know that was the only time I ever had any lows was when I was on medication. not with my natural body the way the Lord made it. So, in a leap of faith, and yes, it takes faith. And by the way, this was the hardest thing to do for me because I had done this before. And I failed at it. I'll just put it that way. But I put all those medication. I got rid of all the medications. I didn't refill any of them. Put them all down. Got rid of them all. I said, "No more, Lord. I'm not taking any of this. My body is in your hands." And do you know those doctors and those uh physicians assist assistants and thearmacies very faithful you don't fill your prescription they call you. We didn't move for another three months. And I remember uh not one single person reached out to me why I wasn't getting my medication. Because the demons, the familiar spirits around us, the ones that knew me, already knew I let go and my faith healed me. I was completely healed. I had no heart palpitations. Do you know there was a sign I have when I would wake up in the mornings and I'd have 80 as my uh sugar and uh my right ear would always drain. I I don't know why it would do that. When it got low, when my blood sugar get low, I knew right away because the right ear was draining. Well, after I put all that down, guess what? My right ear was still draining. And I said, "Ah, Lord, my body is fine. My body was never broken to begin with because I believed a lie. I believed what the doctor said. And the doctor has no idea what he or she is been trained to put you on. They think they're doing you a good job to save you from heart attacks and what have you. You know, if you're having heart issues, take a little bit of water, put like a eighth of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in there, and just chug it. I promise you, you will not have any heart issues anymore after that. It It works with your blood flow. It clears your cholesterol. It clears it all. And I've done that. And you only have to do that, especially if you're coming from where it's been bad and you weren't doing that. Take a few days. Do it once a day and you're ready to go. Anytime you start to feel like a little sharp pain in your heart, fix them some, and you're perfectly fine. Your body, the herbs that the Lord has provided from the earth is here to heal you. So, what do you believe? Do you want to be free? You know, are you believing what the doctors are telling you? I promise you, I went through this and I am a walking testimony to tell you that I'm free. I'm not in chains, bound to this earth and the way it lives. I'm already living my eternity with the Lord. I just haven't got there yet out of my flesh. But one day I will. This flesh will die. It it dies. You know, all of the raising from the dead that Jesus did, all those people, they died again. Lazarus had to die again. The bones that were laid on Elisha, he was raised from the dead, he he died again. The 12-year-old girl in this uh scene here in this uh event period of time that I talked about with the Legion, she was one of the ones that was healed here. trying to think it was Jaire's daughter and she was healed. Um she was dead. God raised her from the dead. She had to die again eventually. We all are appointed to die. So the only way you're not going to age to die is when you eliminate sin out of your life. And you're thinking, I can't do that. Actually, you can. Do you know that I spend time with the Lord every and every time you spend time with him? You're not sinning. So, do you want to spend time in the world or do you want to spend time in the word of God? Again, this is your choice. You're the one who's putting yourself in your situation. I promise you that even if you take out all the drama, you take out all the medical stuff, you will have an awesome relationship with the one you can trust, who will never stab you in the back. That is Jesus Christ, our Messiah. He is the one who is faithful and true. He is the one who has healed us. You need to choose. If you really want freedom, you got to unlearn what you've learned. You got to let it go. Speak the name of Jesus over your heart. I And that's what I had been doing, by the way, all that time when I was praying. I said, "Lord, you are Lord Jesus over cholesterol. You are Lord Jesus over the heart. You are Lord Jesus over diabetes." And I k Previous Next Home

FRAGMENTED SOULS The objective of Fragmented Souls is to teach believers about the reality of a fragmented soul, how it impacts spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being, and to reveal God’s provision for healing and restoration through His Word and Spirit. The lesson aims to lead Christians into wholeness of soul and spirit by rejecting lies, embracing the truth of God’s Word, and attaining singleness of heart to walk in righteousness before the Lord. FRAGMENTED SOULS Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of Fragmented Souls is to teach believers about the reality of a fragmented soul, how it impacts spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being, and to reveal God’s provision for healing and restoration through His Word and Spirit. The lesson aims to lead Christians into wholeness of soul and spirit by rejecting lies, embracing the truth of God’s Word, and attaining singleness of heart to walk in righteousness before the Lord. Synopsis: In Fragmented Souls, Pastor Marcos Marrero explores the depth of what it means for the human soul to be broken and divided, and how God restores it to wholeness. Beginning with Psalm 23:3—“He restores my soul”—the teaching examines how both the soul and the spirit dwell within the spiritual heart, the unseen core of human existence that influences attitudes, emotions, and will. Unlike the physical body, which may lose parts and still survive, the soul does not lose parts but rather becomes fragmented, separated from within, leading to spiritual weakness and oppression. Drawing from passages like Luke 4:18, Pastor Marcos explains that Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted and restore fragmented souls to their original, God-designed state. A fragmented soul occurs when it has been moved or motivated by lies rather than truth. Lies fragment the soul, but the truth of God’s Word heals, restores, and liberates. Thus, restoration begins with being born again by the Spirit of truth, which energizes the soul to let go of deception and embrace the freedom offered in Christ (John 8:32). The lesson also distinguishes between soul and spirit: the soul functions like an engine that awaits a spiritual current (inspiration or influence), while the spirit acts as the energy flow that drives it. When the spirit is energized by God’s Word, the soul is empowered to overcome fragmentation. However, when deceived by worldly lies, the soul remains weakened and oppressed. Pastor Marcos warns that the world system, rooted in deception, continually seeks to indoctrinate through false teachings such as evolution or man-made traditions, which keep souls divided. Healing requires discerning lies from truth, forgiving those who unintentionally passed down deceptions, and rejecting practices that perpetuate fragmentation. Scripture assures that those with a pure, undivided heart will receive blessing and righteousness from God (Psalm 24:3-5). Ultimately, restoration of the soul is achieved by fully relying on God’s promises and living in the truth of His Word. Fragmented Souls concludes with a call for believers to stand apart from deceit, idolatry, and worldly influences, so that their souls may be whole, strong, and fully aligned with God’s will, walking in the righteousness of salvation. Inspired Teaching: Psalm 23:3 “He restores my soul…” What is the soul and where does it reside within me? Does my soul need restoration? What is a fragmented soul? Psalm 86:11 “Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite (give me an undivided heart, singleness of heart) my heart to fear Your name." Within the Biblical context, the heart is the symbolic dwelling place for the spirit within us. And since our souls and our spirits are both spirits, they both dwell within us in a place called the heart, not our physical hearts. The physical human heart is strategically placed within our chest cavity, the torso, and from there it disseminates the oxygen rich life-giving substance that is in our blood. Our spiritual hearts are also located in a cavity somewhere within our torsos; however, it is an invisible place that is strategically located within us and from it flows the spiritual life and well being that comprises our persona, with its attitudes, intents, wills, and emotions. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Just like our human bodies can live and function without limbs, it appears, by the usage of the word whole by Paul, that our spirits and souls can exist and function as well while fragmented and weakened. Just like a human body can only achieve its full potential when all of its parts are present and functioning properly, it appears that it is the same way for our spirits and souls. They can only achieve their full potential when they are whole. However, unlike our human bodies that may be missing a limb or a physical part that they have to do without, it seems like our souls do not lose a part, but rather, their parts become separated or fragmented from one another. Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted (fragmented hearts, to heal means to restore to its original settings), to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” A brokenhearted condition, fragmented soul, causes those who are afflicted by it to be hindered in their walk. They become captives to their condition, blinded and unable to see clearly where their malady originates from, and therefore become oppressed by their circumstances. The good news of the Gospel is that fragmented souls can be healed! 1 Peter 1:9 “Receiving the end (goal) of your faith—the salvation (deliverance, healing, restoration) of your souls.” Not only can our fragmented souls be healed, but our goal should also be in life to attain singleness of heart. So that we can fully comprehend what is the fear or respect for our Lord’s name, which is the beginning of wisdom. How do we do it? Let me first deal with the difference between our soul and our spirit, although our emphasis in this lesson is the fragmented soul, it is important for us to know how the two interact. Unlike a fragmented soul, where its integrity is breached and its parts become segregated, I believe that the spirit operates more in the sense of an energy flow. A spirit with a very low flow of energy cannot energize the human soul to the point of being able to restore it. A spirit that has a very strong energy flow makes it a lot easier for a fragmented soul to be restored. The word for spirit, as in your whole spirit is the Greek word Pneuma from where we get the term pneumatic tool from. Pneuma means spirit, a blast or a current of air that drives something. The word for soul, as in your whole spirit, soul is the Greek word translated as Psychic, from where we get the word, psychology, the study of the human personality or mind. It means spirit as well, air/spirit that is static and waiting to be moved by a current or inflow. A rudimental way of saying it, our souls are like an invisible motor that runs on blasts or currents of air/spirit. When a person is influenced or inspired by something, that person is receiving an inflow that is moving the soul, an invisible inspiration or spiritual infusion. A soul becomes fragmented when it realizes that it has been motivated by a lie. A lie is a spiritual force that drives people away from the truth. John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Jesus told us that the words that He speaks to us are spirit and that they are life, and that by believing them, His words, our souls can be made free from the power of the lies that fragmented the soul to begin with. John 6:63 “It is the Spirit (Pneuma) who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” In order to heal the fragmented soul our spirits have to be born again. Born of the Spirit of truth, for it is the truth of the Word of God that is able to infuse into our spirits the level of energy required to then motivate the soul to let go of the lies that divide it. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living (Zoe in Greek, and it means life giving and life sustaining, like spiritual blood) and powerful (Energea in Greek, and it means energy), and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” So that it is the truth of the Word of God that energizes the born-again spirit, which in turn motivates the soul to seek deliverance from oppression and bondage. It happens as soon as the soul’s spiritual eyes are opened to the truth that it has been fragmented by the lies it was told. Everything in this world system is based on a lie. Romans 1:24-25 “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts (fragmented their souls), to dishonor their bodies (caused their bodies to malfunction) among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Our bodies malfunction as the result of our souls becoming fragmented, and our souls become fragmented when we reject the truth of the Word of God and end up falling for the lie. The fragmented soul can only be healed and restored as the result of an individual rejecting the lie that it believed, and embracing the truth of the Word of God, which is what spiritual discernment is all about, seeing our true condition in the mirror of His revealed Word to us. Our children as well as the rest of us face constant indoctrination attempts from the purveyors of the lie. In schools as well as through television programs we are constantly bombarded with the notion of evolution. You hear them say frequently that millions of years ago this happened and that took place, like they were there you know. These are the same people that can not even get the recent historical events right. I can disprove the theory of evolution very easy, if as they often say that we humans are the parasites that have infested this world, then why are they still here if they really believe that? In their pious pomp would they not have castrated themselves and saved the world for the sake of the animals that they worship? They don’t really believe that. They just want us to believe it so that they can feel superior. Galatians 5:12 “As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!” NIV Once our spiritual eyes are opened to their mischievousness, for they do not really want to liberate people with knowledge of the truth, but rather their aim is to imprison people with their lies; then we are free to receive the liberating truth of God’s Word that make us wise. On a personal level, we have to deal with the lies that have been perpetrated against us by the people that we knew and who were responsible for our upbringing. With the grace of God to aid us, we need to realize that many of the lies that we were subjected to as we were growing up, were non-intentional on the part of those who taught us to follow the ways of this world. For the most part they did not know what they were doing to us. They were just teaching us what they had been taught in many instances. We need to forgive in order to receive the knowledge that leads to our deliverance from the institutionalized lies of this world system. Why is it necessary to rid ourselves of man-made traditions that seem harmless even to some of us today? Anything that aided the fragmenting of the soul will keep the person whose soul was fragmented from receiving the goal of their faith, the deliverance of their souls. Psalm 24:3-5 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure (undivided) heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.” The word sworn literally means to affirm oneself. Within the context, sworn deceitfully, it simply means to continue practicing and believing something that is not truth. Those who continue to practice the lies that this world system espouses will not receive blessings from the Lord. The spiritual blessings that empower us to walk in the righteousness of the salvation that He has granted to us by His mercy and grace. To make our souls whole again we must rely totally on the promises offered to us by God Himself within His Word. When our souls can truly and confidently declare what our last verses of Scripture for this lesson say, then you will know that your soul has been healed to the max. Psalm 26:4-5 “I have not sat with idolatrous mortals, nor will I go in with hypocrites. I have hated the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked.” Previous Next Home

  • MAHER-SHAL’AL-HASH-BAZ | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

MAHER-SHAL’AL-HASH-BAZ To explain the prophetic significance of Isaiah’s son Maher-Shal’al-Hash-Baz (“Speed the Spoil, Hasten the Booty”) in its historical context and to connect its meaning with end-time prophecies, particularly regarding modern Israel, Damascus, and the Russian-led invasion described in Ezekiel 38–39. The objective is to demonstrate how God’s dealings with Israel in Isaiah’s day serve as examples and warnings for the present generation, affirming the certainty of God’s Word and His ultimate plan for the nations. MAHER-SHAL’AL-HASH-BAZ Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: To explain the prophetic significance of Isaiah’s son Maher-Shal’al-Hash-Baz (“Speed the Spoil, Hasten the Booty”) in its historical context and to connect its meaning with end-time prophecies, particularly regarding modern Israel, Damascus, and the Russian-led invasion described in Ezekiel 38–39. The objective is to demonstrate how God’s dealings with Israel in Isaiah’s day serve as examples and warnings for the present generation, affirming the certainty of God’s Word and His ultimate plan for the nations. Synopsis: In Isaiah 8, God commands the prophet to write publicly about His oath of judgment, witnessed by Uriah and Zechariah, and confirmed through the birth of Isaiah’s son whose name, Maher-Shal’al-Hash-Baz, signifies “Speed the Spoil, Hasten the Booty.” This name symbolized the imminent plundering of Samaria and Damascus by the Assyrian king. God’s message was clear: His prophetic word would quickly be fulfilled, and judgment was certain for those who rejected His covenant. The account not only addressed Israel’s immediate disobedience but also foreshadowed future prophetic fulfillment. Just as Assyria invaded Israel for spoil, Ezekiel 38–39 predicts that Russia will lead a coalition of nations against Israel in the end times with the same motive: plunder and gain. This invasion will involve Syria (Damascus) and Islamic nations aligned against Israel. However, God will intervene miraculously to deliver His people, proving His holiness before all nations. Isaiah’s prophecy serves as a warning: God’s Word is reliable, and what He has spoken will come to pass. The example reminds believers today not to be caught off guard by complacency or world politics, but to live in readiness for the fulfillment of end-time events. Ultimately, God will vindicate His name, protect His people, and establish His law through His appointed witnesses and through Christ’s return. Inspired Teaching: Isaiah 8:3 “Then I went to the prophetess, and she conceived and bore a son. Then the Lord said to me, ‘Call his name Maher-Shal’al-Hash-Baz.’” I bet you are wandering what that name means, don’t worry is on the margin of my Bible, here what the meaning of this name is: Speed the Spoil, Hasten the Booty! There is a tremendous insight into what is going on today and what went on in the days of Isaiah concerning Israel’s disobedience to the Word of God. The key to look for here is found in the two opening verses. Isaiah 8:1-2 “Moreover the Lord said to me, ‘Take a large scroll, and write on it with a man’s pen concerning Maher-Shal’al-Hash-Baz. And I will take for Myself faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest and Zechariah the son of Jeberechi’ah.” What the Lord is doing here is taking a solemn oath, in regards to something that He is going to do here on the earth, and He commands Isaiah to get a large scroll and to write on it with a man’s pen, that is in clearly understood human language, and God even summons to Himself two witnesses that will testify, that this is what the Lord said that he was going to do, after it has come to pass just as the Lord said it would. Within the context of Isaiah’s day, it had to do with the invasion of Samaria by Assyria, now Samaria was the capital of Israel at that time when Israel was divided into two nations, Israel and Judah. Now this prophecy does not concern Judah for God will protect them at this time from the king of Assyria, but it is interesting that God includes in His prophecy the city of Damascus as well. Now why is this so important to us in our present day? 1 Corinthians 10:11 “Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.” So that God is clearly teaching us through the past examples of the saints of old, the unfolding of what we see going on today in regards to God’s prophetic words, and the surety of their fulfillment. Let us first begin with the name by which God calls the son of the prophetess on verse three: Speed the Spoil, Hasten the Booty. What prophecy has God uttered that has not yet been fulfilled, that deals with a foreign nation being drawn speedily, or suddenly, against the nation of Israel for the sake of gaining spoil and booty? Ezekiel 38:13 “Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’” This yet to be fulfilled end time prophecy refers to the Russian nation of our present day, which will lead a confederacy of nations against the nation of Israel at the end of days, and the reason why they are doing it, is very clearly laid out in our preceding verse of Scripture. In the oath that God took on Isaiah 8: He also includes the city of Damascus, today’s Syrian capital, as spoil to be gained by them as well. Isaiah 8:4 “For before the child shall have knowledge to cry ‘My father’ and ‘My mother,’ the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria will be taken away before the king of Assyria.” Let’s see if we can put together how this ancient prophecy relates to our current geo-political situation. Here is what we know: From Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39, we know with certainty that it will be our present day Russia the nation that will lead this invasion of Israel. Just let me give you a couple of verses for those of you who may not be aware of this declaration that God fore-ordained for our end of time. Ezekiel 38:2-4 “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords.’” Just like in the days of Isaiah the prophet, when God brought the king of Assyria against the nation of Israel to fulfill His fore-ordained plan, He will do so as well during the end to days, when He will bring this Russian confederacy against the nation of Israel to fulfill His desire to reveal Himself to the nations of the world, as He delivers Israel from the hands of their many enemies as in days of old. Ezekiel 39:7-8 “So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name anymore. Then the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. Surely it is coming, and it shall be done, says the Lord God. This is the day of which I have spoken.” Now in Isaiah’s prophecy God took for Himself two faithful witnesses that would declare to the nation of Israel as well as to the nations of the world, what verse eight clearly spells out: This is the day of which I have spoken! And the reason why the nation of Israel will not profane the Lord’s name anymore at that time, is because after the Lord destroys the Russian confederacy that comes against them, He will send them the Two Witnesses who will not only place the nation of Israel under God’s law, but the rest of the nations of the world as well. Imagine that! The high courts of the nations of the world which declare that it is legal to kill innocent unborn babies through the practice of abortion will be told by the Two Witnesses that it is not! For such a hideous practice violates the law of God: Psalm 127:3 “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward.” KJV And if these nations decide to live by their own laws and willfully disobey God’s commandments, then they will be punished severally for their disobedience by the Two Witnesses, for it will be their job to enforce God’s law upon all the peoples of the earth. Revelation 11:5-6, 10 “And if anyone wants to harm them (the Two Witnesses), fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. These (Two Witnesses) have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire...And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them (when they are killed after their prophetic reign ends after 1,260 days), make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.” So, what have we learned so far? Let me see if we can put all these things into their proper perspective utilizing our opening text on Isaiah 8: We have Israel and Damascus as the bait that will draw the Russian bear into God’s end of days trap. It is not a coincidence that Russia is heavily invested in today’s Syria, for even after the nations of the world demanded that the Syrian president resign after he used chemical weapons on his own people, Russia did not back off in their full support for Assad’s regime, instead they increased their armaments delivery and found a way to legitimize this cruel dictator so that he can stay in power. Now why Israel? What is the spoil and where is the booty that they can gain from an invasion of Israel? There is a lot more at stake here than gold and silver and oil, there is a great amount of political capital to be had if they play their cards right. It is painfully clear to many that the present strategy of the United States government is to lead from behind, which is a misnomer, for it really means not to lead at all, for all that this strategy creates is a vacuum of leadership that the likes of Putin would not mind filling up right away. In Isaiah’s prophetic context we are told that before the child of the prophetess is able to have knowledge of who his mother and father are, that the spoils will be gone. To me that means that before people even realize what is going on prophetically, it will be too late, for the vacuum would have already been filled. If the lesser nations of the world come to the conclusion that a power shift is taking place, as many of them are already realizing, then it is to their advantage to align themselves within the orb of this new emerging power, if it is to their own advantage of course. If Russia wanted to endear themselves to a majority of the nations of the world, the destruction and removal of the nation of Israel would play right into the hands of not only many of the Islamic nations, but some of the western nations as well, who privately hate Israel with a passion. As a matter of fact, the nations that join this Russian confederacy against Israel according to Ezekiel’s list in Ezekiel 38, many are Islamic nations today, Persia tops the list of these followers which is today’s Iran, they are continuously calling for the nation of Israel to be driven into the sea. We can honestly say that the might of the Unites States and what we might have done, is what kept Russia from even thinking of invading the nation of Israel in the past, but all of that is now changing rapidly. For even is the midst of the present power grab by Russia in the Ukraine, the United States government is warning Israel to reach an agreement with their enemies or else. I can say with confidence that the child of the prophetess has been born, and his name is Maher-Shal’al-Hash-Baz, Speed the Spoil, Hasten the Booty. I can also say with confidence that the bear of the north woods got his scent, and though he might try to resist the temptation of going after this child, if This is the day of which I (God) have spoken, this hungry bear will not be able to resist the bait that is in the hook of God Almighty. Isaiah 8:6-7 “Inasmuch as these people refused the waters of Shiloah that flow softly...Now therefore, behold, the Lord brings up over them the waters of the River, strong and mighty…” Has any nation ever that was called by God to do His purpose here on earth gotten away with their sin of rebelling against doing His will? I am utterly amazed how anywhere that I look in Scripture, how I see the present unfolding just as it was told by the prophets of old it would be. Although we may not have much of a say about what our nation does or about what it fails to do, we do know that our God is a personal God, and that is why He sent His Word personally to save us from our sins, Jesus, His only begotten Son. Isaiah 8:11 “For the Lord spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people…” This is our walk, looking for that blessed hope, that when He appears we will be with Him forevermore, no matter what! • SPIRITUAL JOY | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

SPIRITUAL JOY The objective of this teaching is to help believers understand that true spiritual joy is not dependent on life’s circumstances but flows from the eternal gift of salvation in Christ Jesus. Pastor Marcos emphasizes that this joy is irrevocable, unshakable, and rooted in the immutability of God’s promises. Through Scripture, he shows that spiritual joy is both a present reality for the believer and a foretaste of eternal pleasures at God’s right hand. SPIRITUAL JOY Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to help believers understand that true spiritual joy is not dependent on life’s circumstances but flows from the eternal gift of salvation in Christ Jesus. Pastor Marcos emphasizes that this joy is irrevocable, unshakable, and rooted in the immutability of God’s promises. Through Scripture, he shows that spiritual joy is both a present reality for the believer and a foretaste of eternal pleasures at God’s right hand. Synopsis: In Spiritual Joy, Pastor Marcos explores Psalm 16:11 as the foundation for understanding the fullness of joy found in God’s presence. He explains that spiritual joy is inseparable from spiritual life—unlike worldly happiness, which is fleeting and circumstantial. Spiritual joy endures because it is anchored in the gift of eternal life, which God has declared irrevocable (Romans 11:29). Pastor Marcos highlights Peter’s sermon on Pentecost (Acts 2), where he connected the resurrection of Jesus to David’s prophecy in Psalm 16. This fulfilled promise revealed that death was conquered, eternal life secured, and joy made possible for all who believe. Spiritual joy is not just inward but manifests outwardly, producing rejoicing and thanksgiving among God’s people (Psalm 118). The lesson also underscores that God’s covenant is unchangeable: He cannot lie and will not change His mind about salvation (Hebrews 6:18; 7:21). Therefore, believers can rejoice even in trials, knowing that the Lord is always on their side, their salvation is secure, and His mercy endures forever. Pastor Marcos provides practical reasons for joy—God’s goodness, His mercy, His deliverance in times of trouble, His help against enemies, His fatherly discipline without disowning, and the promise of eternal life. Ultimately, the believer’s confidence and joy rest in God’s unchanging character and the finished work of Christ. Spiritual joy flows from a wellspring of salvation, bringing strength, peace, and praise that transcends every situation. Inspired Teaching: Psalm 16:11 “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Spiritual joy comes as the direct result of spiritual life, you cannot separate them, where there is no spiritual life there is no spiritual joy. We maybe very happy due to our position in life, but our position in life is not the source for spiritual joy, for if our position in life changes for the worse, then our reason for happiness is removed. Not so with spiritual joy, once you have it you can never lose it. For our joy is based on the gift of eternal life, and God’s gifts are irrevocable. Romans 11:29 “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” In the day of Pentecost Peter began to preach to the multitudes who had gathered around the disciples after a tornado, a rushing mighty wind, had settled over and filled the house where they were praying. Peter told the crowd that they were witnessing that which the prophet Joel had prophesied about as being the mission statement of the newly born church of our Lord Jesus Christ; and this is what Peter told them: Acts 2:22-25 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; whom God raised up, having loosed (destroy or abolished) the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.” Peter gets right to the point and tells the multitudes that the Jesus that they’ve crucified and killed, is the very One whom God had appointed to destroy the pains of death itself, for Peter tells them that it is impossible for death to keep hold of the Author and Sustainer of Life. Then the very next Scripture that he quotes to them is from Psalm 16, our opening text; Peter tells them that when David wrote Psalm 16 he was not speaking about himself, but about Israel’s future Messiah, and plainly tells them that the fulfillment of David’s prophecy has been accomplished by the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth from the dead. Acts 2:27 “For You will not leave my soul in Hades, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.” Psalm 16:10 “For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.” The point that Peter is trying to make to them is that death has been conquered by Jesus going to the cross, and that the path or way for eternal life had been made known to man, and that is the very reason why we have joy. Acts 2:28 “You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.” Psalm 118:14-15 “The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the Lord (Jesus) does valiantly.” Psalm 118 is the center chapter of the Bible; it is preceded by the shortest chapter in the Bible and it is followed by the longest chapter in the Bible, I guess that we can call it the long and the short of it. The center verses of chapter 118 and of the Bible itself, speaks of how the Lord has become our salvation and how that is our reason for rejoicing. Although I called it Spiritual Joy it is very much physically present within all true believers. The reason why I called it spiritual is because this joy is independent of whatever our physical situation might be. I also stated the this joy is a gift from God and that His gifts are irrevocable. Let me enumerate a few reasons as to why we should all be rejoicing in this joy that emanates from our born again spirit and permeates every fiber of our souls. Psalm 118:1 “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” He is good! We know that, for He saved us from all our sins, but let us remember also that His mercy towards us is everlasting. In the letter to the Hebrews we are told that by two immutable things God established His covenant with us: Number one is that the God who cannot lie swore on an oath, number two, that He would not change His mind. This is very important, for from our human perspective we make commitments that are based on our present circumstances, and when those circumstances change, we sometimes find it reasonable to change our minds about our original commitment. We are tempted within our human nature to believe that God changes His mind about our salvation when the circumstances warrant it, but that way of thinking is not within God’s nature, and He wanted us to know that. Hebrews 6:18 “That by two immutable (unchangeable) things, in which it is impossible for God to lie…” Hebrews 7:21 “But He (Jesus) became a priest with an oath when God said to Him: ‘The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind: You are a priest forever.’” NIV So that our salvation is not dependent on our present or future situations, but rather in the immutability of the oath of the God who does not lie and who swore that He would not change His mind about our salvation that was entrusted to the Priesthood of Jesus. Now that is the headspring of the living waters of the well of salvation and the reason for our unshakable joy. Psalm 118:5-6 “I called on the Lord in distress; the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” So, what happens if in our daily walk we fall, falter, or fail? They that call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, delivered into a broad place! What if I come under demonic attack? The Lord is on my side and will always be on my side. He promised and said that He would not change His mind, so therefore we have no fear, there is nothing that man can do to us in regards to our salvation. Now there is another reason for joy. Psalm 118:7 “The Lord is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.” The Lord is our vindication and our source of joy, for we know that while in this world we will have tribulations that are brought about by our enemies. But God is our present help in time of need and we know that He can be fully trusted. Psalm 118:17 “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” What greater joy can a person have than being able to say with such great confidence, I am not going to die, I am going to live, and I will testify about God’s faithfulness. And here is the main reason why we can rejoice! Psalm 118:18 “The Lord has chastened me severely, but He has not given me over to death.” It is true that the Lord is our Father and as such He will chasten us, for we are not illegitimate children, BUT HE WILL NEVER DISOWN US! It is no wonder that there is so much praise and joy as the Psalm comes to a close: Psalm 118:28-29 “You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” How can we not love a God that loves us so much? How can we not rejoice when we have a merciful God like Him for our Father? At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore! Previous Next Home

HEALING YOUR SOUL AND BODY The objective of this message is to teach believers how forgiveness, the power of their words, and a relationship with the Lord directly affect the healing of both soul and body. It aims to reveal the biblical principles that show how harboring unforgiveness and speaking curses can manifest in sickness, while releasing forgiveness, speaking blessings, and walking in the Spirit bring healing, restoration, and long life. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa Kane opens with Matthew 6:14–15 to establish the connection between forgiveness and healing. Forgiveness is not about securing eternal salvation—that comes by calling on the name of Jesus—but rather about releasing bitterness and letting go of offenses so the soul can be healed, which then manifests as health in the body. Holding onto unforgiveness leads to hardened hearts and even physical sickness, while forgiveness opens the door to freedom, peace, and healing. Lisa stresses that healing requires a choice: to let go of offenses, to bless instead of curse, and to replace negative words with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, humility, and self-control. Scriptures such as Psalm 91, Proverbs 18:14, and Isaiah 53 show that God promises long life, deliverance, and wholeness to those who walk in His presence. The message also highlights the importance of self-control over one’s words, for the spirit of a person can sustain or prolong infirmity by speaking curses. By walking in the Spirit, believers can overcome the lusts of the flesh, stop sending mixed messages to the spiritual realm, and live in alignment with God’s promises. The teaching closes with a powerful prayer of repentance, forgiveness, and declaration of healing, encouraging listeners to receive God’s benefits, walk in the fruit of the Spirit, and manifest divine health in their souls and bodies. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this on Friday, October 6, 2023. Welcome. This message is called Healing Your Soul and Body. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We ask that you open up our ears, eyes, hearts, and minds to see your word, to receive your word, to believe your word, and to trust your word, Father God, that we may live by your word, so that our souls are healed and that our bodies manifest that healing. Thank you, Father God, for the glory of your presence, your anointing, Holy Spirit. Thank you that you speak eloquently through these lips and uh move me out of the way if you need to, Lord, in the glorious name of Jesus. Thank you, Father God. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's open up in our opening scripture here. Let's go to our opening scripture. Healing your soul and body. We're going to start here in Matthew 6:14-15. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses. This scripture tends to be taken into context that you would lose your salvation or that you can't get saved because you won't forgive someone. And the reality of this is that you have a choice to forgive or not to forgive with this scripture. Meaning, if you choose to forgive, you can heal your soul and you can heal your body. If you choose not to forgive, your your soul and your body is going to be in a lot of pain and you end up going to your death very painful and very early. Uh there's principles and scriptures that uh show this and this is what I'm going to be teaching on today so that your soul and your body could be healed. Uh because it is a choice and it's up to you of whether you want to forgive or not. But this is you don't have to forgive someone for your eternity. Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. You'll see the scripture as we come into it later on in this teaching. So that has nothing to do with this. This has to do with you, the individual, and whether you're going to forgive others for your healing. Now, there's two parts to this, and it's very, very powerful, and I'm going to try to touch on both parts. I want you to see that you can do this for yourself, but you can also do this for those around you. I've taught before and it's it's probably been a year and a half, maybe a couple years now, uh where I taught that you're the priest or the priestess over your home, over your um family, co-workers, and such. This is another way to change the individuals around you by interceding for them and allowing the Holy Spirit to do his job. So, I'm going to uh take a moment here and I'm going to ask you a series of questions because this is where it changes you. And if you want it, this is for you. If you don't want it, click off this video and move on. Hit the pause or hit the X and get out because seriously, this is so powerful. It's going to change you. And and I'm going to show you how it works. So the question I have is, do you want to live a long life? Do you want to be healed? Do you know that there are some people who don't want to be healed? It's a conversation piece. It's a great conversation topic. They don't, you know, it's it's something to go talk to somebody about. Well, let me let you in on a little secret. There are other topics to talk about. So, do you want to be healed? For that matter, do you believe you can be healed? You see, we live in a generation where we were taught that we can call the doctor's office, go get a prescription, get a pill, and the symptom is taking place. And if you go long enough with it, all they do is double the pill, make it stronger. They're only dealing with the symptom. They're not dealing with the root. So, do you want to be healed? Do you believe you can be healed? Do you believe the word of God? Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God? This is going to play a very important role here. I want you to understand that. So, let's go back to our opening scripture here. I want you to see something here. As you know, what I'm doing now is I'm teaching through the King James version. So, anything in parentheses and italicize is something I added, which is the definition of the word that's bolded. So, that's how I'm going to teach this. For if ye forgive. So that word forgive there means to send forth, let go, release. So if for if ye forgive men their trespasses, that word trespass means a side slip or something of a fault. A fault. Look at this. It's unintentional or willful. So for if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you, release you. But if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses. Notice the key word here. This is how I know it's different. Trespasses, a fault or a slip. So when you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you're forgiven. Your eternity is set. It says anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. I will show you that in three different scriptures that I have found thus far. And you will see how powerful that is. Because anyone, a murderer, a liar, a thief, anyone, you committed adultery, anyone can call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. That's your eternity. Now, if you want your healing, you've got to forgive the faults of those who faulted you. Whether you're right or wrong, just because you're justified and you're right doesn't mean you don't forgive. You got to let it go. You see the meaning here? Let go. That's what forgiveness is. You got to let it go. What happens, and this is scientifically proven, is when you're harboring hate, bitterness, envy, because you're not forgiving, you're not letting go. What happens is you're holding on to it, and you it hardens your physical cells in your body. And those cells that tighten up and hold like that, and you continue to hold it like that for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, guess what happens? Those hardened cells turn into cancer. They manifest into that. So this is why we have to let go. And the word for let go is to forgive. So it doesn't matter whether someone's there or not. You just need to do it vocally. Let's continue on and and see how the scriptures show us this. We're in Psalm 91:15-16. This is the psalm where you dwell in the secret place with the Lord. So relationship is key here. says, "He shall this is all the benefits of of living in his shadow, if you will, because you're you're in a relationship with the Lord." He says, "He," talking about you, "shall call upon me, him, God, and I will answer him." By the way, the King James version does not put, God, uh, he, him in capital letters. It's the only downfall about using the King James version, but I do like getting to the root meaning that is closer to the intent of the original written context. He you shall call upon me God and I God will answer you him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver. Look at that word deliver means pull off or draw out him and honor him. We'll get to that in a minute. With long life will I satisfy have enough him and show him my salvation. You who have a relationship with the Lord should not ever be sick. You were given long life. Look at you can become an elder. You can become like King David. He was old, so old that he had to have a they brought in like a concubine, a virgin to lay with him at night to keep him warm. Her body heat kept him warm. But he was blessed living out a very old life. That is a promise. Meaning he didn't get sick. He didn't get cancer. He didn't get heart disease. He didn't get high cholesterol or diabetes. He lived a long life because he had a relationship with the Lord and because he let go. So, and you know, he went through a lot of troubles. You can read a lot of his psalms. You can read a lot of his life in um uh the the Kings and the Chronicles in Samuel. you can find out who this man is. And he lived to be a long life. That is the kind of life we should be living. So if you're living that life, here's the most amazing part. You never have to get sick. And I've been teaching on this. So I want to show you how to do this. Now, let's delve into this a little bit better, deeper. So you call upon him. He will answer you. He will help you in trouble. He will be with you in trouble. Look at this. He's going to deliver. He's going to draw you out. Honored. Look at that. Be rich. David was rich. Abraham was rich. Lot was rich. I'm telling you, God will prepare your heart and mind it to be rich. If that's the calling he has in your life, if he wants you to have money so that you're ministering and giving it in the right key places, he will make you rich. But I promise you, it's not rich for you to uh gorge on, if you will. He He's not going to make you rich to the point where you're hottie. He won't do that to you. He prepares your heart for it. But he honors you. And he rich that word honor there means be rich. Let's read it without the the extra meanings here. He shall call upon me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him. Then he says, "With long life will I satisfy." That word satisfy. Satisfaction is having enough. So even if you're given all of that richness, all of God's money, he prepares your heart where you know you're satisfied and it doesn't matter in your mind, I'm going to give you a million dollars. I'm going to give you $10,000. He it doesn't matter. This is how he prepares your heart for his richness. satisfy him and show him my salvation saved deliverance. You see that is what God wants to do for us. That is the blessing we have. You go to that first verse in that Psalm 91 says and uh who you seek him and dwell in the secret place with the Lord. So this also continues on a relationship with the Lord. I've been teaching this for years now. So get into the presence of the Lord and find out who he is and receive those blessings. Meaning you should not be sick. You should not be suffering in the name of Jesus the son of God. Proverbs 18:14. Look at what we do to ourselves. The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity, but a wounded spirit who can bear. Oh my word. This is so applicable. Remember I asked in the beginning, do you want to be healed? And some people it's a conversation piece and a topic. You want to be healed and what's happening is you want to be healed. You you have an okay relationship with God. You go to church. You actually went to the elders and got prayed over but nothing happened. Why? Because your spirit, your breath, your spoken words of a man, of you sustain, keep him in his infirmity. Every time you talk about it, you you come back to it, you go back into the infirmity. Oh, I got to go back to the doctor. I'm feeling it again. Oh, it's coming back. Oh, I ran out of my pills. I Oh, you keep yourself in your infirmity. You went to the elders to get prayed expecting a miracle, but because of your words, you're sending a double message to the heavenly realm and it freezes them. They cannot heal your soul. You do not get your healing because you're sending mixed messages because you're sustaining your infirmity with your spirit, your breath, with your words. And look at this. It says but a wounded spirit who can bear. You see the soul becomes wounded and you become weak. You can't even carry you barely pray but you continue to curse yourself and then you cannot carry which when you're that weak and you cannot carry who do you give it to? You got to release it so he carries it and bears it for you. Look at this in first Peter 1:9. receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. This is what Jesus did on the cross. He saved our souls. So, how does this work? Look at this. Receiving, you have to take care of your end goal, your faith. You have to take care of it. You saw in the previous scripture, it is your spirit that is keeping you in the infirmity. So, you have to tend to your faith. You have to take the action into your faith. to your end goal to have your faith that moral conviction for the salvation which is the rescue and the safety of your souls. So you see what's happening here. You have to set up the end goal. What do you want? Do you really want to be healed? Because you're sending mixed messages because I'm and the church is doing this too. You see what's happening is you're not seeing the power of God moving in the church. And there's actually teachers, preachers that taught that, well, that was done 2,000 years ago. It doesn't happen anymore. I call hogwash on that. Seriously, we still have healings. And I am a walking testimony of healing. I'm telling you, I used to have heart palpitations. I don't have that anymore. I put down insulin. I don't take that anymore. I don't have heart disease or anything of that nature because I started blessing my body. I went to the Lord. I asked and I'm asking him to reveal because I'm also now interceding for others. So for me to become a very good intercessor under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I have to let go. And then I have to do it on behalf of those around me, which is the second half of this. If you're wondering why your whole family has drama, guess what? You're the lynch pin of your entire family. That drama should be gone by you. Tend to your end goal, to your faith. You need to be doing this. You have to get that self-control, a gift of the Holy Spirit. We're going to be talking about that. Let's continue to see what Jesus says about this in Matthew 10:1. And when he had called unto him his 12 disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. To heal he had to cast out demons, which means you are influenced by demonic activity, which is what is caus you're saying these words and you're being influenced by the demonic activity sending the mixed message. You're going to the elders. You're getting prayed, but nothing is happening. You prayed, nothing is happening because mixed messages. But look at what Jesus did. And by the way, we're all disciples of Jesus Christ. Says he gave them power. Look what that word power is. Privilege. You have the privilege to heal your soul, which manifests to the healing of your body. Because once you deal with the unclean spirits, the demonic activity, it goes away and you start speaking blessings, your body manifests the healing because it now softens. You're in peace and you are under his covering in his safety. You are saved and that means sickness melts away. Oh, so powerful. So awesome. You have the privilege against look at this demonic spirits. Unclean spirits is um it's a it's like a swamp. It's dirty. It is diseasefested and you're letting it in with your words and you're sending mixed messages which is why you're not getting healed. You should be living to be 115 or 120 years old easily, but your words are what's aging you and killing you quickly. And look at this. He says, you have the privilege to cast them out. Look at what that word cast them out is. Eject, bring forth, pluck, pull, take out. Guess what? You can pluck it and pull it out of all of the drama in your family. You can pluck and pull it out of your own body. I'm no way am I going to say these words anymore. Repent. Renounce. Oh, now you're seeing the key to healing your soul, which then manifests into the healing of your body. And look, cuz see when you cast them out, it heals. What? Look. Oh, look at this word healing. Heal. Wait upon adore God. Reveal. I adore you, God. See, when you put God first and you're saying, God, I adore you, you're saying, heal my soul. And he does says all manner of sickness. Look at this word sickness. That means malady, infirmity. It also means disease. And then at the end of the scripture, and all manner of disease, this word disease means incapacity, weakness. Once you start saying the words we're going to say here very shortly, we're going to do a prayer together. I want you to see and know and understand that you will no longer be incapacitated and you will no longer be weak. Hallelujah. And you will be healed completely. So now we got to look at the fruits of the spirit because this is where things get very interesting because what we have to do now is replace those words with the words of the fruit of the spirit or with the spirit himself manifesting his gifts in us which is his fruit. Galatians 5, we're going to read verses 16- 23. I'll be breaking this up here in groups. This I say then, walk in the spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Pause. The walk. The word walk there is to live. Meaning every time you're in your home, you've got a few minutes. Lord, I love you. I praise you. I thank you. And I'm giving you the glory. And you also set aside tend to your end goal. You set aside a time where you say, I'm interceding on my behalf, Father God. I am praying over me. And we're going to get to the script uh the words we're going to pray. And you do this every time you go to the grocery store. Lord, I can't find something. I need your help. You see, you you're building a relationship with him. He's with you everywhere. You go to him first. Matthew 6:33. Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you. You see, you have to establish the relationship, the the foundation, your tending to your goal in the in your life. And that's why he says you got to walk. You live in the spirit. And ye shall not fulfill complete the lust. What is that word lo l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l lust. It's a longing of the flesh. You long to be like a king and queen. You fantasize about it. You long to have all that money in the world. You long to have dominion and power over people. You long to bully them. you see you long. That's the flesh. So, we're clearly identifying the flesh. And he's saying if you walk, remember the the end tend to your end goal, have that relationship. You walk in the spirit, you live in the spirit, you can control that longing and you will not not have that. Let's go to verse 17. For the flesh lusted, look at it. to set the heart upon. What's more important to you? Your eternity, your healing. Do you really want to be healed? This is why I was asking the questions. You have to set your heart upon this. Do you really want to be healed? Then you've got to set your heart upon it. But your flesh is setting its heart upon against the spirit. It It's like you forget to set aside, tend to your end goal. You forget to spend time with the Lord. You got busy. you, everyone called you in your family. It was like you set this date. You go to do it and all hell breaks loose. All the disturbances come against you. That's when you have to say, "Satan, get below my feet in the name of Jesus because I'm tending to my end goal and I am moving forward and living by the spirit and I'm setting this time aside for him." You see, you have to take authority over that. You got to speak the words. So the flesh lust, it sets upon against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh. These are contrary. They're opposite the one to the other so that ye cannot do the things that you would. What was I saying earlier? You're sending mixed messages. You're letting your flesh I'm going to go to the elders and get prayed for. But if you keep bringing it up and keep talking about it, yeah, I have C. When you say these words, you're cursing your body further and further instead of saying something to the effect of, "I bless my body. I don't have cancer anymore." And you keep saying that and I promise you there will be a breakthrough in this because it is your words because you have to send the right message to the heavenly realm to have that broken through for the power and the anointing to move forward in your life, in those around you, in your church. because we got to bring back the the power of the Holy Spirit. Verse 18, but if you be led of the spirit, you're not under the law. The law, the ten commandments, no longer applies to us. Because see, that had to do with the flesh. Now we're dealing with the spirit. This is why it's very important that you go live in the spirit. Meaning, you need to set time aside. Just just because you don't kill anyone. If you said it in your mind, I'm man, I wish that guy was dead. Be so much easier. You already killed somebody. May not have done it physically, but you spoke the curse against him. That comes to haunt you because God holds you responsible for that. That's what you have to forgive. That's what you have to let go. It is those sayings that are cursing your body and manifesting into cancer, blood disease, diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol. All of that stuff is coming in because of words you said. Thought or you may not even say you may have just thought God holds you responsible because we're not dealing with the law. We're dealing with the spirit. Now, this is to the healing of your soul and body. Do you want to be healed? then you're going to need some self-control. We're going to be showing that here in just a moment. Look at this. Now, the works of the flesh are manifest. The word manifest means shining or apparent. By the way, if I see you suffering with cancer, I now know that you are dealing with some sort of unforgiveness, some sort of curse that is against you, some sort of anger, envy, jealousy, anything like that is against you because you're dealing with that. You haven't let it go. So, it's apparent. It's shiny. I can see it. And and of course others can see it too, but some may not recognize what it is. But I recognize it only because I spend time with the Lord and I live in the Lord. You will do that too when you tend to your end goal and put God as your priority in your life and set apart time to live with him. Uh now the works of the flesh are manifest. Which are these? Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, that word variance means to quarrel, emulations, there's your jealousy, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envys, drunkenness, rebelling, that's causing riots, and such like of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is healing of the soul. You cannot be healed if you continue to walk in adultery, fornication, uncleanness. You see, you pleasure the self before you set a tithe and tend to your end goal with the spirit and live for God. Your priorities are mixed and that's why you're not getting healed. You're sending those mixed signals. Galatians five. Now we're in verse 22. But the fruit plucked. I love that. Of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, that's moral excellence, goodness, faith, meekness, humility, temperance, self-control. Against such there is no law. This is now the spirit. This is the things you should manifest in your spirit. one, you should be manifesting good health. You should be healthy all the way through. So, what you do is you're going to pluck out the fruit. You're going to pluck the fruit from the Holy Spirit. I'm going to get some love and I'm going to take a bite. I'm going to partake of the Holy Spirit's love, joy, peace. These are the words you say instead of, "Oh, have you heard about my cancer problem lately?" You see what I'm saying? You don't have cancer. You say, "Have you noticed how much the Lord has given me to love? He is building my love. He is building my joy. I'm not grieving anymore. I'm letting it go." And when you share the testimonies with others, you're speaking the words. You're telling the spirit realm, you're telling the spirit, you're telling God, you're telling angels, you're telling demons. You are manifesting the fruit of the spirit which is the healing to your soul and your body cuz there it's not the law. It's not part of the law. It's part of the spirit and it begins with the relationship with the Lord and living for him. Look it now Psalm 103 2 through3. Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities? whose who health all who health all thy diseases. We'll read this here with the definitions in just a moment. But do you see the first word here? Bless that is kneel and adore. It starts with humbling yourself before the Lord and repent. Renounce you're putting the Lord first. You're making you're tending to your end goal. Your end goal is to be healed. You want to be healed. Your end goal is to have this body walk in good health. Well, it has to mean you have to take care of your soul and then it will manifest into the flesh. It starts with humbling. Kneel, adore. That's blessing God. Bless the Lord. Kneel before the Lord. Oh my soul. Your soul is your vitality, your consciousness. You see, even in your weakest moment, oh Lord, I bless you. You can even whisper. He hears you. He hears every word you say. And forget not all his benefits. Benefits are treatments. Do you see this? The word treatments is benefits. That's to the healing of your body. You get treatment from cancer. You can call it uh what do they call that? Radiation treatment. How about God treatment? I went and got some God treatment today. And boy, I adore him even more because he healed me. Do you see the manifestation of this? This is awesome. Who forgiveth, he pardons all thine iniquities. You see, your iniquities must be pardoned. Must be forgiven in order for the manifestation of your soul to be healed and your body to be walking in good health. Look at this. All thine iniquities in is perversity. You're sending mixed messages to God. You're living in the world and you're living in God. You're trying to do both. No, you have to set him first as a priority. Who? Health. I love that because the the King James version uses the word health here and it is to mend or by stitching. It's a cure. It's a physician like a doctor who the doctor god doctor all thine diseases which are malady grievous it's sorrow look at that he is sending the physician him to deal with your grief your sorrow any sicknesses any diseases that is the treatment that did you see that that's the benefits forget not all that's his benefit that's his treatment for you you get to have that when you humble yourself and you get into that forgiveness. Now, when you don't, watch this. Psalm 32:es 3-5. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. Stop. Oh, watch this. This is how this is what you're doing right now. You're not healed right now. You're going to be, but you're not. I want you to see this. You're going to be says, "When I kept silence, look at this. To be deaf, dumb." What is it that we die? Most of lack of knowledge. Hosea, you can go read this. I think it's 46 or 64. But you die from lack of knowledge because you're dumb. You're deaf. You're you're not hearing the word of God because you're not opening up the Bible to see the word. You're not putting aside. You're not living in him. You're not making him a priority. You're sending mixed messages. And I'm talking to the believer, the unbeliever. We just got to start with forgiveness and then we'll move on from there. But you got to live and put God first in your life. That's very important. But look what happens when you keep silent because you're you're being deaf. You're being dumb. Says, "My bones wax old. They get frail and they decay. They're aging, but they're aging faster." And this is why people die in their 30s, 40s, 50s, especially believers in Christ, because they're not letting go. And he says, "Through my roaring, your words grumbling." Oh man, I got to go back to that darn doctor. these bones. They just I hate these bones. I wish I had other B. You see what happens when you're speaking that against your body. You just cursed yourself and you've been doing it all this time. Well, I'm telling you, you can stop because forget not all his benefits, his treatments. You live with him first. You humble yourself. We're going to say some a prayer here all the day long because you do this all the time. all the day long. Verse four, for day and night thy hand was heavy upon me. My moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Look at the hand here. Hand is your power and direction. So God's power and direction was burdensome upon him because he couldn't do what God was asking him to do because he kept cursing himself, kept saying the words. And in fact, it was so it was manifesting so much that the moisture in his body dried up. That's um uh insulin, diabetes. That's diabetes. What happens to your skin? It gets real dry when you're not absorbing the insulin from your body from whatever the foods your cells are are not getting it through. By the way, take some Celtic salt. Seriously, just take a pinch of it three times a day and drink a lot of water with it. Your insulin and your um the magnesium in there goes into the cells. It opens it up and allows your cells to draw all that in and it just stabilizes. God gives us all the herbs of the earth, salt of the earth, everything he gives us to heal our bodies. Can you believe that? So, we can be healed and living already through the herbs. So here he's saying though moisture is turned into drought. It's because God is he's sending mixed messages and God is being heavy on him. He's telling him I can lift this off of you but you got to let it go. Oh that is absolutely powerful. Verse uh five now I acknowledge my sin. So here now he said I was dried I dried up had diabetes whatever it is because of what he was saying. He wasn't letting go. Now he's saying, "You were heavy on me, Lord. Listen. I'm going to acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord. Thou forgavest the iniquity of my sins. Say li." Oh, this man, he's saying, "In my testimony, I gave it to God. I confess it." Look at how he says it. He knew by seeing. He saw the iniquity. He saw what his flesh was doing. He says, "Uhoh, I acknowledge. I see what's happening." So that's my sin. It's an offense. It's a habit I've had. And look what he says unto thee. I sinned against you, heavenly father. And I was habitually doing it. And mine iniquity, the perversity of what I had in me is what was called. I was sending mixed messages. I partially live for God or I wasn't living for God at all, but I was living in perversity, iniquity, and that was causing me to get sick. And he says, "But now I have not hid it." And look, I will confess. Look what that word confess means. This is Old Testament. Hold out revere or worship with extended hands. Oh heavenly father, I worship you. I confess my sins. Open hands. This is very powerful. Well, you guys got to get this. My transgressions, I'm rebelling against you, Father God. And I'm opening my hand saying, "I'm not going to do it anymore. I'm not hiding it from you. I'm letting go of the mixed messages. I'm letting go of the curses that I've been speaking uh my transgressions unto the Lord. I'm letting go, giving it to you, the Lord. and you forgave. You lifted you ease the iniquity of my sin. He's still aging, but he's no longer dry. He's in good health because see, the Bible says everyone's appointed to die once. That's Hebrews 9:27. Well, then we're going to die, but we don't have to die that early. We get to live a ripe old age because of his benefits, because we repent. Look at Romans 10:13, Acts 2:21, and Joel 2:32. This is what I was saying at the beginning of the message. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That word whosoever, anyone declining, that's anyone. You killed someone, you can call on the name of the Lord. You lied, you're cursing yourself, you can call upon the name of the Lord. Whatever sin, it doesn't matter. You live in sin. Everybody lives in sin. Everyone has fallen short of the glory of God. Well, here it says, "Anyone declining shall call upon." You're entitled to invoke. What? Are you entitled to invoke the name of the Lord? You're a sinner and you get to say, "I call on the name of Jesus, the son of God, and I will be saved. I'm safe and delivered." This is so powerful. It is said three times in the scripture. Acts 2:21, "And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Those words mean the exact same words in verse 13 of Romans 10. And look at Joel 2:32. This is the Old Testament. And it shall come to pass that whosoever, look at the whole, t Previous Next Home

WATCH AND PRAY WITH DILIGENCE The objective of this message is to encourage believers to remain spiritually alert, prayerful, and prepared for the return of the Lord. By studying prophetic scriptures and recognizing the signs of the times, Christians are exhorted to live soberly, guard their hearts and minds, and diligently pursue God’s presence so that they may be found worthy to escape the trials coming upon the earth. < Back WATCH AND PRAY WITH DILIGENCE Minister Lisa Kane March 20, 2022 Objective: The objective of this message is to encourage believers to remain spiritually alert, prayerful, and prepared for the return of the Lord. By studying prophetic scriptures and recognizing the signs of the times, Christians are exhorted to live soberly, guard their hearts and minds, and diligently pursue God’s presence so that they may be found worthy to escape the trials coming upon the earth. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa Kane opens with prayer and then begins in 1 Thessalonians 5, where Paul warns that the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. The message highlights the urgency of being watchful and vigilant, contrasting spiritual wakefulness with spiritual sleep and drunkenness. Believers are urged to wear the helmet of salvation and the breastplate of faith and love, maintaining focus and purity in a world full of distractions. The sermon then explores prophetic connections, including references to Ezekiel 38–39 and Matthew 24, tying together end-time signs such as wars, earthquakes, pestilences, and the sealing of the 144,000. Jesus’ teachings about the days of Noah are emphasized—Noah received advanced warning and prepared diligently, while others ignored the signs. Similarly, Christians today must remain spiritually prepared, recognizing that while no one knows the day or hour, the season and signs are clear. Scriptures from Luke 21 and Mark 13 stress the importance of prayer and worthiness, echoed by the parable of the ten virgins, where only the prepared entered the wedding feast. Lisa warns that half of believers may miss the rapture due to lack of diligence, though still ultimately saved, they will endure great tribulation and suffering. Personal testimony illustrates the struggle with worldly distractions and the enemy’s attempts to weigh believers down with the cares of life. Yet through prayer and focus on God, victory and clarity can be found. Supporting verses from Psalms, Timothy, Hebrews, and Peter reaffirm the call to seek God diligently, present ourselves approved before Him, and remain blameless as we await Christ’s return. The message closes with an exhortation: just as people secure their homes against thieves, so too must Christians prepare for the Lord’s coming through prayer, scripture, vigilance, and faith. The reward of diligence is escaping judgment through the rapture and entering eternal peace with Christ. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this on Sunday, March 20th, 2022. This message is called Watch and Pray with Diligence. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we lift up this message to your throne room and ask for your blessing upon it. Lord, we pray and ask that we hear your word, apply your word, live your word, and acknowledge that you are God and in control of everything that you do. Thank you for your blessings and your favor upon us and your anointing. In the glorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. All right, let's go into our first set of scriptures here. We're going to start with First Thessalonians chapter 5. We're going to read verses 1-1. I will stop in between, but let's get started. But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. I want to pause. The day of the Lord is an interesting day. Now you can go through the scriptures. There is a lot of information about the day of the Lord. A lot of things are going to happen and I do believe it's in a particular order. So it does start with Russia invading uh Israel and then God protecting Israel. this great earthquake takes place, the sun goes dark, um the moon turns red. So, there's these activities. Um the ceiling of the 144,000 take place, and then of course the bride of Christ is resurrected, um raptured up. So, there's a lot of things that happen on the day of the Lord. So, Paul is talking to the Thessalonians saying, "Okay, I want you to pay attention here. You're not going to know the days or the time." Watch how he says this. He says uh concerning the times and the seasons, brother, you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. And we got to remember this term thief. And I'm really going to address that in this message because this message about watching and praying diligently is about being prepared. You're going to love this. So let's continue on with the scriptures. Uh so verse three, for when they say peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them as labor pains upon a pregnant woman and they shall not escape. Labor pains is what uh Jesus describes as Matthew describes in Matthew 24. And when you start hearing about rumors of wars and wars and earthquakes and famines, pestilences all over the place, which we are in that right now, that is being fulfilled as we teach this message, then you're you you see that this scripture aligns with that. So, this is all about the day of the Lord, and the day of the Lord triggers all of this event. So, he's talking about this to the Thessalonians. Let's continue on. Verse four. But you, brethren, are not in darkness. so that this day should overtake you as a thief. Again, we're going to be talking about being how thieves work. We're gonna we're going to look at that here in just a moment. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore, let us not sleep as others do, but let us watch and be sober. That's powerful. We're going to get into that here in just a moment. I want to finish the set of scriptures here. Let's look at verse seven. Uh oops, there we go. For those who sleep sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us. That whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Therefore, comfort each other and edify one another just as you also are doing. Okay, I want to back up here and go here. Okay, there we go. Okay, you can see this is going to be one of those teachings. So, look at this. He says, "Sleep at night, drunk at night, and we're of the day. We need to be sober." So, now take a look at this. He says, "The breastplate of faith and love." I did a whole series on being a soldier in God's army and wearing the helmet of salvation. The helmet of salvation is your covenant with Jesus. And that covenant binds his protection, the helmet, over your head and keeps the worldly thoughts and ideologies out of your head so that your head can stay focused on what the scripture tells us. So here he's saying, not only do you have your hope of salvation by wearing that helmet, but look, he's also talking about breastplate of faith and love. And faith is something we hope for that we cannot see. So all of this has to do with prophecy. Here we are again talking about prophecy. The day of the Lord has not happened yet and everything it describes has not happened. Ezekiel 38 and39 when it talks about the invasion of Russia and then that great earthquake says every wall falls. That has not happened. So that's coming. So this has everything to do with faith. So you've got to keep your mind. So he's telling you where to keep your mind. And then of course including love. And remember Matthew 24 prophesies that love grows cold. So us believers have to maintain that love. So now I want to show you what he's talking about with the mind because I think if you see how the descriptions of what he's saying about the mind, you're going to understand something very carefully here. So here he says um and we're going to look at focus on verse six here in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5. Therefore let us not sleep as others do but let us watch. Look at what the Greek word watch means to keep awake. That is to watch literally or figuratively. Be vigilant. Ah, vigilant. Okay. So, we're going to be having to stay in the word. We have to keep an action to stay awake. Now, let's look at what the sleep portion of this is. So, let me get to the sleep. Here we go. Same verse. Now, now in verse six, he says, "Therefore, let us not sleep." Says, "To sleep, to lie down, to rest." That is by implication to fall asleep. Okay. So, let's talk about the thief and let's talk about our mind in sleepwatch mode. Okay? Which is what Paul is talking about here. So, when you don't feel good, what do you do? You take a pill, you take some sort of medication, and you lie down and rest because you don't feel good. So, you're doing everything you can to let your body rest so it could heal. Okay? So, what Jesus Paul is saying here, hey, listen, you got to be diligent, vigilant, and you've got to be sober minded. meaning you can't have your alcohol or the drugs that impair your mind because there are things going on in the world that you need to watch because otherwise it's going to get you like a thief in the night. So, let's talk about the thief. So, there's a guy out there, let's say guy or gal, and uh they're planning to raid your home. So, what you do because you don't know who this person is. You don't know what they're going to do. You don't know what they want to do. What's the first thing that you do every night so that you could sleep peacefully? Is that you lock your doors in your windows. You even put next to your bed um some sort of weapon and you're there to protect yourself because you don't know if that thief is going to come in. And if that thief should come in, you're prepared to stop the thief from happening. Notice the words, you're prepared. So, this is very interesting because what Jesus and Paul is telling us is to be prepared for the day of the Lord. Okay? But we don't know the day nor the hour. Know the day or the hour? Oh, let's look at the scriptures. I love this. I love this message. This message is powerful. You guys really got to get into the word of God here. I am telling you, you got to get into it. Let's look at Matthew 24:42-44. Therefore, watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. I want you to stop and look at what he just said. This is Jesus talking. You do not know what hour the Lord is coming. Why didn't he just say you don't know when? You see, we're going to get to the scripture where it says, "Do not know." Um, you know what? Let's continue with scriptures. We're going to continue on there. Uh, verse 43. But you, but know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore, you also be ready, for the son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect. Now, look what he says earlier in the scriptures in Matthew 24. This is verse 36. But of that day and hour, no one knows. Not even the angels of heaven, but my father only. Pause. Day and hour. Boy, that's awfully specific. Why didn't he say you don't know when? A lot of preachers are telling you that you don't know when. They're misinterpreting the scriptures. Watch the deception that takes place about knowing the day of the Lord and when it's coming. Okay, let's continue on. but as the days of Noah were. So Jesus giving us some insight here as to what to watch for to help us prepare. Let's look at what the days of Noah was like. So also will the coming of the son of man be. So the when that rapture comes, that resurrection of the bride of Christ comes, we're going to see him come from the east to the west like lightning in the sky. He says when that happens, it's going to be like the days of Noah. So everything we're talking about is that day of the Lord. There's a series of events and that bride of Christ is resurrected after the 144,000 are sealed. So watch very carefully about the days of Noah because this is so applicable to us. This is the key. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark and did not know until the flood came and took them all away. So also will the coming of the son of man be. Okay, we have to look at the days of Noah because there's a mystery here. Jesus says no one knows the day nor the hour. Again, he didn't say no one knows when. He says no one knows the day nor the hour. Well, what happened to the week, the month, the season, the year? He didn't say that. Let's continue on with the scriptures here because I want you to see something that happened in Genesis with the flood. Watch. This is so powerful. Genesis 6:3. And the Lord said, "My spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh, yet his day shall be 120 years." Now look at Genesis 7:1. Then the Lord said to Noah, "Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation." In verse four, for after seven more days, I will cause it to rain on the earth 40 days and 40 nights, and I will destroy the face of the earth, all living from the face of the earth, all living things that I have made." Ho ho ho. So Jesus says, "Go back to Genesis and take a look because I want you to understand and not be taken like a thief in the night. I don't want you to be unaware of what's coming." So he tells Noah 120 years in advance, you're going to build an ark because I'm going to destroy the earth. So Noah knew 120 years in advance. Okay? And if you get into details, you will find it he didn't start actually building the ark for another 20 years. But as he's building the ark, let me tell you something. How many people saw him building the ark? Many. I bet it was on their news broadcast, television sets, however the people lived during that time, they were aware and they saw that the Lord was coming and they still didn't know. Then look at what he also said. He told Noah, "Come into the ark because in seven days, that's a week. We know in a week." Oh, people, we need to be watching this. We need to be watching because this is why he tells us to watch and be prepared. Now, I want to show you something else here because this is so so amazing. So, you've got Matthew and how he said it. It's like the days of Noah, but Mark and Luke say it differently. They don't use the days of Noah. There's more mystery here. Watch this. Let's start with Luke 21:es 34-36. But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with kerosene, drunkenness, and cares of this life. Isn't that what Paul was talking about? Having the mind in the fog. When you have your mind on drugs or sickness or ailments or of the matters of this world, your focus on the world and not what's coming. And when you're not aware of what's coming, it's going to take you by surprise. But you can prepare for it because that way that thief won't take you by surprise because you're ready to fight it. So here now when you're preparing for the return of the Lord, you know he's coming. When that last seven days come, what are you going to be doing? He said, "Come inside." [Music] So carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day come on you unexpectedly. I'm going to read that verse again. But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with kerosene, drunkenness, and cares of this life and that day come on you unexpectedly. I'mma pause here for another moment. I got to share slight testimony from this week. I had a rough week. I gotten sick last Sunday and it, you know, it kind of lingered all week long, but I'm over it now. So, it was that sickness attack. It was all these little things that came in and Wednesday was the catalyst of this. And I I had gotten emotional about it and I I was frustrated. I got up from my desk and I walked out went for a walk around my the perimeter where work where I work and as I was like I said, "Lord, what's wrong with me? Why am I getting so focused on this?" And all week long, I had been studying these scriptures, looking at it, trying to figure out how I was going to present this message to you. And it was dawning on me, hey, the devil's trying to get me caught up on the cares of this world. So, as I was walking, I said, you know what, Lord, I'm giving this to you because it ain't my problem. One, nobody's going to care in a hundred years. One, two, I got more important things to look at. The return of you, that's what I'm talking about. You can easily get caught up into the elements of the world here. I mean, we just had St. Patrick's Day. I was driving to work. There were nobody on the road. I don't know how many people took off Thursday and Friday, but I'm sitting there like I guess people wanted to have a good drunken moment because that's what you do on St. Patty's Day. Get caught up in the world, get caught up in the events. You got to watch and be diligent and pray. We're going to show that in just a moment here. Okay, let's continue on with Luke here. Uh verse 35. ever will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass to stand before the son of man. Okay, now this is where it gets different. Okay, so we saw how Matthew talked about it how Jesus said to go back to the days of Noah and Luke is telling us listen you got to be counted worthy. And this is so applicable to what Jesus said with the virgin, the parable of the 10 virgins. Now, I didn't put that parable here. I encourage you to go look the scriptures up. The parable of the 10 virgins are the same. They're 10 virgins. They're all identical and they're the church. So, what happens is fif five of them have their oil and they're ready to go with the wedding party. Five of them don't. So the five that don't say to the ones that do give me give us some of your extra oil. And the ones that are wise tell the others, "Hey, we came prepared. You go buy your own." And while the other ones were out buying their own, the the five came into the wedding, the other five who showed up late, Jesus said, "I don't know who you are." And kept the doors locked and they missed the rapture. So, but they're all believers in Christ. I want you to see that and understand. And look, look at how Mark or Luke says it here, counted worthy to escape all these things. It is a blessing when you are righteous because you're taking the next step. You're not getting caught up in the world with the kerosene and the drunkenness. You're saying, "No, I'm going to choose God." And God says, "Okay, I got a blessing for you. You're going to go up in the rapture." That's what this is about. So, you get counted worthy. So you got to be diligent. And notice he also said to pray. So you're praying, you know, and the things that you need to be praying. Pray for yourself. I don't know how many people are praying for you. First, pray for yourself. Pray for your family. Pray. Let God hear your voice. Because then you can say, "God, you know me because you're hearing my voice because I'm talking to you all the time. And by the way, I talk to him all the time. He knows my voice. I know his." That's another thing is as you enter into that relationship with God, you begin to realize, wow, he's real and he's coming and you line yourself up with him. You get counted worthy. Ah, so it's awesome. So you see the difference here now talking about the same event but another viewpoint. Now watch, I'm going to show you the next one. So we just finished Luke. Now, let's go look at Mark's viewpoint. This is so fascinating. Says, "But of that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the son, but only the father." Now, that's similar to what we already heard. But look, take heed, watch and pray. Now, he added prayer, for you do not know when the time is. It is like a man going to a far country who left his house and gave authority to his servants and to each his work and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. Watch therefore for you do not know when the master of the house is coming. In the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning, lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all, watch. There's even more information here. Oh my goodness, you guys. This is powerful. Okay, so he emphasizes here, watch. He also emphasizes prayer. But look at what he said. He said in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning. Okay, so you have evening, you got midnight. Crowing of the rooster is just before the sunlight breaks the horizon outside. And then you have morning. What happened to noon? [Laughter] Is it possible that we don't know the day nor the hour simply because we're on different time zones, but we know 120 years in advance. We know seven days before. And if you watch Jonathan Khan and how he's been revealing the mysteries of the Jubilees over the last 20 so plus years. So we're already coming into the realization that God has shown us the last 120 years what's happening. And I talked about Mark Twain being the stranger. In fact, I think the clock starts there and I forget what year it is. 18 something. Uh I think 1867 because I think 1967, the 50-year Jubilees, it lands on the same as um uh taking over Jerusalem, the Israelites did in the six- day war of 1967. Anyways, you can look all that up. It's all there. Don't take my word for it. But I'm telling you that you have this clock that started. And so when Jesus talks about the the rumors of wars and the wars and the pestilence and the COVID 19, which is a pestilence, u the famines, how many people are starving in the world, and all the earthquakes. I don't know if you've noticed how much how many earthquakes we've had lately. It's been quite a bit. So this is what he's saying. Watch and pray and be diligent about it. Vigilant is the other word that Paul used in Thessalonians. This is absolutely imperative that you do this because you don't want to become unaware, which means you need to prepare. So, if you're going to prepare for a thief by locking your doors, locking your windows, having things that will trigger your your senses to wake you up in case you hear somebody messing with the door. These are things that you prepare for, which means you need to prepare for the return of the Lord. So, that day is coming. It's prophetic. There is no if. It is a when. Okay? We don't know the day nor the hour. But we certainly do know the season. We know that if Jesus fulfilled the first set of feast of the Israelites by his coming as a man and dying on the cross for our sins, that was all fulfilled with the first fruits fruit uh first feast that happened in the Israelites Passover. That's he was the Passover lamb. So he fulfills all that. So the second half of the feast are all the fall feast. So we do have a good idea it's going to happen in the fall there. You know God has his clock. He knows his clock. Okay. Uh we know so we know a season. We know that we had this 120 years. And if you go back and look at the last 120 years, um even after the stranger in the land did what he did, there was a series of large earthquakes that happened at that time. Uh we're we're talking a whole lot of them. You can go back and look at this. Uh you had um the one uh from Isuza Street Revival that was um h that revival was happening at the same time that large earthquake happened in San Francisco. But there was a series of about three other earthquakes that were in the eights during that time. So I'm telling you the clock started and we knew 120 years in advance. So now it comes down to the last seven week seven days that we're going to know. Don't know when that's coming, but we will know because God will tell every believer that is spending time with him, come inside. Those are the words he's going to tell us. So now question is, are you going to hear it? Because if you are spending time in the secret place with the Lord, you will hear those words, you will come inside and you will be ready and waiting for his return. Oh, so it is time to prepare. The other part that comes out of this in in a subtle way is to comfort one another. I know that this sounds like a doom and gloom type of message and it sounds scary, but you have to realize something. Look at the world. You know, I get it. Go back to Darwin. He's looking at the beach and he's looking around. He he describes it as a peaceful moment. Now, don't let it deceive you because he's thinking, okay, well, in this peaceful moment, it's always peaceful. And that's when he came up with evolution and he measured it on that moment. And we can go outside and look at the green trees, get a little breeze, puff a cloud here and there. It's gorgeous. This earth is gorgeous. It really is. And you can have that moment of peace. It really is nice. But I'm going tell you right now that's going away. You know when we talked about that first scripture talking peace and comfort and then all of a sudden sudden destruction. So right now things look quite peaceful when you step outside and don't look at the news. But if you watch the news, because we need to be watching and be diligent and pray, then we're aware of what's going on. There are other scriptures that support this and in a whole different kind of way. And I I want to go here and give you some additional scriptures because I think you can see it how the whole Bible prepares us for this. This is amazing. I just love the Lord. He's just so good at this. I mean, I love him. I love him. Okay, so Psalm 8:17, I love those who love me and those who seek me diligently will find me. So here he's telling you, you're going to find me. So don't think that, oh, if I go do this, I ain't going to be there. No, no, no, no, no. He's going to be there and he's going to get you ready. Especially when you say, you know, God, I don't want to be left behind. He understands that, respects that, and he will comfort you. Look at these other scriptures. Uh 2 Timothy 2:15, be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Again, be prepared. Get yourself in front of God now before the judgment day comes so that you can say, "Lord, I need your help because I'm a sinner and I need to get right with you so I can move forward with you in what you're doing because this doesn't matter anymore. You matter and my future with you matters." Amen. Let's look at Hebrews. Here we go again. Hebrews 11:6. But without faith, it is impossible to please him. For he who comes to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. The reward is the rapture and not being left in this earth. Now remember the 10 virgins I talked about. 50% went up with the Lord, 50% stayed back. All believers. Now I want you to understand something. how you die. We all want to hope that we can control our death and it be somewhat of a comfort like go to sleep and don't wake up something to that effect where it's painless. Think of it like this. That 50% that didn't go still have to die. Now in that first five months after that day of the Lord and all those events that trigger or get triggered they they happen on that day the next five months you can't die and then there's going to be thunders and this is in Revelation go read it I didn't bring that scripture here but there are going to be thunders that are going to come out and talk to you who's here. So those that are believers again are going to have the opportunity and they're going to realize because they've been hearing about us teaching them about the rapture all this time and they missed the boat because they chose not to be diligently and and show themselves approved and worthy and diligent to God because they missed the boat. They're going to have to die again. They miss the blessing of the rapture that you can grab now if you just go get in his presence. But if you So it's not like you're going to miss out in eternity. I want you to understand that you're just missing out in the blessing of not being here for the torture and the torment. And I'm going to tell you that first five months of who uh is left behind, the 144,000 are sealed. That's the Israelite male Jews that are sealed. They won't be touched. But these locust things are going to be going around stinging every other human being on this earth. And so if you miss this rapture, which is the blessing to get out of that, then you're stuck dealing with that torment and torture and pain. I am trying to hopefully catch you before it gets there. Please, I urge you, not only repent, but get into the presence of God and show yourself worthy to God. Amen. Look at what 2 Peter 3:14 says. Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by him in peace without spot and blameless. Again, the same message. You're seeing the same theme. It is time that we get into the presence of the Lord in our secret place and say, "Okay, God, I am going to do my best. Yeah, I s I fall every day. Look at what happened in my testimony I shared earlier for this week. Getting caught up in the the things of the world even, you know, and I taught on this uh uh the last message about even the elect possibly being deceived. It's like that should scare the living hell out of you in all reality. Oh, I hope this is why I get into the secret place with the Lord. I'm praying. Lord, don't let me get deceived. I'm hoping that helmet is thick, strong, and it keeps the world out of my head and my heart. So, when the attacks come on, because that's what's happening right now. The deception is on, the attacks are on. The world seems so tempting to, oh, I can relax and be at peace here and enjoy. But it's coming. It's coming. This day of the Lord is coming. It is prophetic. It is prophesied. I think all of the the u prophets talk about it if not most of them do but it's coming and the word of God was written and assembled for us today to know what's coming because we're that generation. And I'm telling you my friends, you got to wake up, get the fog out of your mind. Be diligent and prepare. Meaning get into that secret place with the Lord. Pray. Pray for yourself. Pray for your family. Pray. Let God hear your voice and you hear his voice. Meaning, you get the scriptures and learn. Don't Don't rely on the preachers out here because they're the ones that are teaching you, hey, no one's going to know when anyways. Don't worry about it. That's what a lot of them are teaching. That's not what the Bible says. You can just see what I just taught. We know 120 years in advance and seven days before. We know. Oh, and it looks like around noon. All I'm saying is be ready. Amen. Let's pray. And let's pray for that strength. Let's pray together. Uh I want you to agree with me in prayer. And I pray that you are diligent in your prayer life and that you and God get to know one another. Amen. Oh, heavenly father, we thank you for this word. Oh, thank you for getting us prepared. I pray and ask that you prepare us appropriately. That you give us the the strength and the endurance to get into the secret place with you to find out who you are. That we talk to you and that we hear you and that we apply your word to our spirit and our soul and that we can say, "You are God. You are in control and we know where you're going and we're going to follow where you go." Oh, hallelujah. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Father God. In the glorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. And God bless you. And I'll see you in the next video. Bye-bye. Previous Next Home

WHY DOES SATAN WANT YOU SO MUCH? The objective of this teaching is to help believers understand the true reason why Satan desires to attack and deceive humanity. By examining the creation story, the fall of man, and God’s redemptive plan through Christ, the lesson reveals that Satan’s hatred is not directed at us personally, but rather at God’s love for us. It encourages believers to stay rooted in relationship with God, knowing that through Jesus Christ they have victory over sin, death, and the enemy’s schemes. WHY DOES SATAN WANT YOU SO MUCH? Minister Lisa Kane January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to help believers understand the true reason why Satan desires to attack and deceive humanity. Synopsis: Why Does Satan Want You So Much? explores the deep spiritual battle that began in the Garden of Eden. Adam, created in God’s image, enjoyed intimate fellowship with his Creator—a relationship Satan envied. As Ezekiel 28 reveals, Satan was present in Eden, watching with jealousy as God spent time with man instead of with him, a being clothed in beauty and splendor. Out of hatred for God and envy of His love toward mankind, Satan set out to prove humanity unworthy, deceiving Eve and drawing Adam into sin. Yet, the message shows that Satan’s true motive is not love or concern for us, but hatred for God. Every time he succeeds in hurting people, he believes he is wounding God’s heart. Still, God’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ triumphs over Satan’s schemes. By sending His Son to die and rise again, God provided eternal life for all who believe (John 3:16, Romans 10:9–10). The teaching closes with a call to relationship: just as God walked with Adam, He desires to walk with us today. By confessing Jesus as Lord, studying His Word, and remaining in fellowship with Him, believers can stand strong against the enemy, assured that where God’s presence dwells, Satan has no place. Inspired Teaching: Have you ever asked yourself why does Satan want me? It’s an interesting question and opens up the Bible by bringing a more complete understanding of the entire picture, and it goes back to the very beginning in the Garden of Eden. Genesis 2:8 New King James Version (NJKV) 8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. Genesis 2:15-20 (NJVK) 15 Then the Lord God took [d]the man and put him in the garden of Eden to [e]tend and keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you[f] shall surely die.” 18 And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” 19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to [g]Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. The above scriptures show us that Adam was in the Garden of Eden without Eve for some amount of time. We don’t know how much time because the Bible doesn't tell us, but we can guess that at least several months to maybe a handful of years went by where there was no Eve. How do I know this? How many animals, beasts, and birds did God create that Adam named and how long do you think it took Adam to name them all? Imagine this, let’s say God brought in a male and female animal that were gray, big, and heavy with trunks on them and Adam says I will call these elephants. What-if God asked Adam why? And what-if Adam asked God why a skinny tail versus a bigger tail to match its girth? You see God and Adam were talking or having a relationship. They were spending time with one another. God interacted with the image He made of Himself. Genesis 1:26a (NKJV) 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; We were made extremely different then any other creature God had already made. We don’t look like the angels and to top it all off, God was spending time with Adam, not the other angels. Which begs the question, who was in the Garden of Eden watching? Ezekiel 28:13 (NKJV) 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created. Satan was in the garden of Eden and he was watching everything going on. He was perplexed and confused to say the least. He couldn’t figure out how could God spend so much time with such an inferior creature? When comparing man against his beauty, there was no comparison. He was made with every precious stone and was so beautiful, yet God wasn’t spending time with him…no he was spending time with Adam. When Satan saw that God placed a female in the Garden and left to give Adam and Eve a ‘honeymoon’, Satan wanted to show God how inferior this creature was. In fact, he wanted to make it such a point to rub it in His face…and was probably thinking that he could do a better job in creating creatures. And that is why Satan wanted us. And he continues to want us to this day because every time he wins, he's hurting God. Satan doesn't care about who you are or what you do but he does care that God loves you so much that he'll do everything in his power to hurt you because he knows it will hurt God. To put it simply, Satan hates God and everything God loves, Satan hates. God showed His love by spending time with Adam. Love is action and God is action. I bet Satan thought he was right when he deceived Eve and Adam. Genesis 3:1-6 (NKJV) 3 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ” 4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was [a]pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves [b]coverings. But God. He had a bigger plan all along. John 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. We’re made in His image and He loves us. He paid a large price, the death of His Son on the cross, to get us back from the curse of sin when Adam and Eve disobeyed God because of Satan's hatred toward Him. Romans 6:23 (NKJV) 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the [a]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. After Adam and Eve sinned, they began aging and eventually died. But Jesus broke death by rising from the dead. Matthew 28:6a (NKJV) 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Hallelujah! Now you and I can rise from certain death by believing and Satan may want to hurt us to hurt God but he can't hurt us anymore. God made a way for us to be saved! Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV) 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. And all it takes is talking to God. It began as a relationship with God and Adam, and it will end in a relationship with God and me (you). Say this out loud: Dear Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross. Forgive me of my sins and come into my life. Be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ Name Amen! Praise the Lord! You are now saved through Jesus Christ and don’t let anyone or anything tell you otherwise. Protect yourself by staying in that relationship with God because where God is, Satan isn’t. How do you stay in a relationship with God? Read His Word! It will be your foundation and get you through life. • PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

Say this prayer out loud: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world; the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.” Father God, I bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, with open ears, eyes, hearts, and minds to see, hear, receive, and believe the living Word of God because you state in Mark 4:12 KJV “12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” I pray in hope that they see and perceive, hear and understand so they would believe in Jesus the Son of the living God! And Heavenly Father, I bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in the hearts of the people in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists to forgive and reconcile the nation back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray that the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I also pray that past generations deceived by lies would be restored to the truth going forward. I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” manifests within the hearts of the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world. I pray that those who work in mainstream media, media outlets, and/or as a journalist that they will share truth and fact from the Bible. Declaring the Bible as truth and they are led by the Holy Spirit. I pray that the gifts of the Holy Hpirit stated in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12 KJV “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” would unite the body of Christ under one leadership, the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God moves through each of us so that we know what to pray, how to pray, when to pray, and praise the living God in all that we do. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen!PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM Say this prayer out loud: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world; the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. • SPIRITUAL HEALING | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

SPIRITUAL HEALING The objective of this lesson is to explain the necessity of spiritual healing as the foundation for true wholeness in spirit, soul, and body. Pastor Marcos emphasizes that the health of the “spirit-man” determines the vitality of the soul and the body, and only through God’s Word and truth can the believer experience restoration, strength, and freedom from fear and deception. SPIRITUAL HEALING Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of this lesson is to explain the necessity of spiritual healing as the foundation for true wholeness in spirit, soul, and body. Pastor Marcos emphasizes that the health of the “spirit-man” determines the vitality of the soul and the body, and only through God’s Word and truth can the believer experience restoration, strength, and freedom from fear and deception. Synopsis: In Spiritual Healing, Pastor Marcos teaches from 1 Thessalonians 5:23, showing that humanity is a three-part being: spirit, soul, and body. He stresses that the spirit-man is the most vital part of a person, for when it is sick or broken, no true healing can come to the mind or body. Even believers, though born again, can experience spiritual weakness under the pressures of a corrupt world system. Through scriptural insights such as Proverbs 18:14 and John 6:63, Pastor Marcos explains that a healthy spirit-man draws strength from the truth of God’s Word and thrives despite physical trials, while a weakened spirit results from lies, fear, and disobedience. He warns that indulging in deception can cause spiritual illness, as seen in Malachi’s and Ezekiel’s warnings to Israel. Spiritual healing begins with the “clean water” of God’s Word (Ezekiel 36:25-27), which renews the heart, removes impurities, and builds up the new man created in Christ. By feeding on truth, renouncing idols, and walking in obedience, the believer’s spirit is strengthened to rejoice in tribulation, cast out fear, and glorify God. Pastor Marcos concludes that spiritual healing is the process of aligning the spirit-man with God’s truth, resulting in a strong, victorious, and renewed life in Christ. Inspired Teaching: 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” The human body is made of three distinct parts; spirit, soul, and body. One physical unit with two spiritual components, the most important of the three is the spirit. If the spirit-man, as I call it, is sick or weak, everything else will be affected by it. As a matter of fact, there can be no true healing for the soul (mind) or for the physical body, unless and until the spirit-man becomes born again. But even born-again spirits can falter under the pressures of this worldly corrupt system of which we are part of. Proverbs 18:14 “The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit? In other words, if the spirit-man is broken we are in real trouble. In this lesson I want to deal with the functions and conditions of the spirit-man and try to figure, from Scripture, how to bring spiritual healing to those who might be having problems with their spiritual condition. How do we Christians know if we need spiritual healing? 1 Corinthians 6:20 “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” If we are experiencing problems worshiping, or glorifying God, in spite of our circumstances, we probably have a spiritual malady that needs to be remedied. A healthy spirit-man is impervious to physically induced trials, for the spirit-man is not sustained by physical means. John 4:24 “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” The spirit-man’s sustenance comes via the truth, Jesus is the Truth, and Jesus said in: John 6:63 “...The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (for the spirit-man).” When a Christian is struggling in his spiritual relationship with God, meaning he/she is having trouble worshiping God in spirit, is due to the lack of truth within the spirit-man. For a healthy spirit-man is not troubled by physical circumstances, but rather, it rejoices in tribulations, and it grows stronger every time it takes on the lies of this world. If a healthy dose of God’s truth can make the spirit-man strong and able to thrive in this corrupt world environment, then the opposite is true as well, a lying spirit, uttering lying words, can make the spirit-man sick if the spirit-man indulges in the lies that its being offered. Malachi 2:15-16 “...Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth...Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.” Twice in consecutive verses God gives a stern warning to the people of Malachi’s days, concerning the condition of their spirit-man, take heed to your spirit, God told them twice. Within the context God is dealing with them about divorce, which God hates, and the truth of the laws concerning the putting away of one’s wife. Because they had perverted God’s laws to their own advantage, that is what dealing treacherously means, God is saying to them, watch out for the well being of your spirit-man for you are in violation of the truth of the Word of God. Ezekiel 21:7 “...Because of the news; when it comes, every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass…” In the above passage God is telling the people of Israel that because of their abominations, He is going to judge them severely. But I want you to look at the progression of how the spirit-man becomes weak and faint; It begins with these words: because of the news of that which was about to happen to them, fear originated in their hearts and then it manifested itself in the body with their hands becoming feeble and their knees weak. Now let us turn that around, if our spirit-man is weak and feeble because of the fears that we have been entertaining, what happens if we introduce our spirit-man to the good news and precious promises found in the truth of God’s Word. Galatians 4:6-7 “And because you are sons (your spirit-man is born again), God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father!’ Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son (in the spirit-man), and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” We are no longer slaves to fear, fear of the slander of the enemy, for God’s perfect love that has been shed abroad in our hearts casts out all fear. There is no reason for us to fret about our present condition, or about the future, be it our future, our children’s future, our families future, our nation’s future. There will be tribulations that we will face, but they will only make our spirits stronger, for that confirms the Word of God in which we are feeding. A healthy spirit is a strong spirit. Ezekiel 36:25-27 “Then I will sprinkle clean water (the truth of God’s Word) on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit (born-again spirit) within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.” Spiritual healing begins when we drink into our spirit-man the clean water of the Word of God, renounce the filth and idolatries of this lie-infested world system, and put on the new man, the spirit-man that is created in the image of Jesus. Colossians 3:9-10 “Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old (spirit-man) man with his deeds, and have put on the new (spirit-man) man who is renewed in knowledge (of the Word of God) according to the image of Him who created him.” Previous Next Home
