The goal is to encourage Christians to live in obedience, walk in the Spirit, and build on the foundation of Jesus with works that endure, producing spiritual fruit and eternal reward. Synopsis: This message opens with prayer and then moves into a study of 1 Corinthians 3:8–15, where Paul explains that all believers share the same foundation in Jesus Christ, but their works—whether valuable (gold, silver, precious stones) or invaluable (wood, hay, stubble)—will be revealed by fire on judgment day. Pastor Lisa stresses that salvation is secure by grace, not lost by failures, but the quality of each believer’s life and obedience determines eternal reward. The teaching explores how different types of believers respond to the Word of God, drawing from the parable of the sower (Matthew 13:18–23): some never grasp it, others receive with joy but fall away under pressure, some are choked by worldliness and riches, while others bear fruit abundantly. These responses illustrate the difference between fruitless and fruitful Christian living. Practical application is given through Colossians 3:23–25 and John 14:12, highlighting that true valuable works are those done “from the Spirit unto the Lord,” not for men’s approval. Examples include praying for leaders rather than condemning them, walking in forgiveness, and seeking God diligently—each act counted as valuable before Him, regardless of outward results. The message warns against judging others harshly, reminding believers that Romans 14 teaches all will stand before Christ’s judgment seat. Instead, Christians are urged to live in humility, obedience, and faith, allowing the Spirit to guide their works so that they produce lasting fruit. Valuable works flow from relationship with God, trust in His sovereignty, and obedience to His Word, while invaluable works—though done in the flesh—will be consumed by fire. The teaching closes with encouragement: whether one stumbles or walks faithfully, salvation remains secure in Christ (Romans 10:9). Yet the call is to build wisely on the foundation of Jesus, storing up eternal treasures that will endure, so that each believer may enter eternity not empty-handed but richly rewarded. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and I'm recording this message on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Welcome. This message is called Valuable and Invaluable Works. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the anointing of your presence in our hearts and minds. And we thank you for your prepare preparation of our hearts and minds to receive this word. That we are prepared to learn knowledge today of who you are and what you are and what you're doing in our lives. And that we actually have a goal to look forward to, Father God. And that we operate and practice on that goal, Father God, as we run our race. We thank you, Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. And amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scriptures. This is called valuable and invaluable works. 1 Corinthians 3:8. Now he that planteth and he that waterth are one, and every man shall receive or to take his own reward. That word reward there means to pay for service wages according to his own labor. Reminder that when you see the scriptures up on the screen, the bolded word means that it's the original word in the King James version. And the words in the parenthesis are other translations that that word could have been been interpreted as going back to the original language. Uh whether Greek for the New Testament or um yeah different languages there but the Hebrew for the Old Testament and I use the Strongs uh concordance or the dictionary for that. So welcome. I want to uh share something about this message. The goal here is to get your eyes on judgment day. Now, part of this is so that you can understand salvation better because I'm hoping that this is going to break through as a very powerful, knowledgeable tool of what we as the church should be teaching and preaching. We do not teach on the spirit of fear and we should not be teaching that anyone can lose their salvation. You know, you can rebel against God, rebel all you want, but God is [Music] patient, long-suffering, and he will go to hell to get you back out of there if he must. You see, don't limit God for who he is and what he can do. God is who he is, and this is what he's going to do. So as you can see here in in this uh 1 Corinthians 3:8 in the first three chapters here 1 Corinthians Paul is dealing with the Corinthians on the debate of I am of Apollos I am of Paul and you see Paul is saying listen we are all of one spirit which is Christ our Lord Jesus the Messiah. So he's saying in that walk, you may plant and water. You you each have different things that you're going to do and you're going to receive your own reward according to your own labor, whatever that may be. So like in my case, whether anyone ever listens to these messages or not doesn't matter. What matters is that I took the liberty to go and do it, pray to God, give it to the Lord. And and in reality, it's kind of a vlog for me teaching me the scriptures. This is how I teach my spirit. And then I'm letting you watch and observe. It's up to you how you want to uh be in ministry with the Lord. He blesses whether you're in the wilderness or in the city. He blesses as long as you put him first. Matthew 6:33. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and then all these things will be added unto you. So, and remember, salvation is of the Lord. It's not by might nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord. So that means what we're doing is we're letting the spirit go ahead of us and do his part. And we're just wherever we go, we be in the right place to say the right thing, to pray the right thing, um or to know what to pray for, how to pray, that sort of thing, and hope that someone gets saved. Now, keep in mind that there are different levels of people Our people are at different levels of salvation. Some of them will confess once and that's the only time they'll ever do it. Remember the thief on the cross? He was saved and all he did was confess there on the cross and acknowledge Jesus of who he is. So there are going to be people that are going to be like that and they're going to end up in a dire situation. But remember that they will call out when it comes towards the end there. and the Holy Spirit is not going to forget them and he's going to be with them. And then there are others that are going to get saved and they're going to go live their own life, come back to God when they feel like it, go back and live their own life again. You're going to have these different levels of people's salvation. Um or they're going to people are going to be at different levels with their salvation. And there's nothing wrong with that. God knows each every individual that exists. Let's continue with scripture because I want you to see and understand this. 1 Corinthians 3:11-15. So, we're going to be talking about judgment day. It says, "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." So, I want to lay something down here first. Okay. When you accept Jesus Christ into your heart, you actually laid well, Christ laid the foundation for you. He's the one who died on the cross. He's the one who rose from the grave. It is his it is his blood that has redeemed you. So that means when you accept that that foundation is put under your feet and you stand on him. That is your rock. That is your foundation. So from that moment forward you will be judged. Whether you live for Christ or not you will be judged. Now see salvation is of the Lord. He chooses you. So, it's up to you of what valuable works will be there on the day of judgment that will survive the fire. Let's go to scripture and look at how this fire works. This is very interesting and very important. Verse 12. Now if any man build upon this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble, every man's work shall be made manifest. For the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire, and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. We'll continue here in a minute. So meaning that once that foundation is under your feet, because remember he says the foundation of Jesus, everything is laid on that foundation. And remember many be remember your first love and remember the beginning of your life. You could have been one of those who were like a yo-yo. I know this is how I was. I believed in Christ. I grew up in the church. I accepted Christ at six. I was baptized at nine, water baptized at nine. And um as a young woman in the Lord, sometimes I was on fire for God. And then there were other times he was the farthest thing from my mind. Did that mean that I did not have salvation when he was the furthest thing from my mind? No. It meant that his foundation was there, but everything I was doing was invaluable. Nothing of value toward God was being added into my pile. So, had I died at that time, I would have had the times that I was on fire for God, those values would be there and they would be right next to me. But, and they would have survived the fire. What survives fire? Look at what's in the the the values that he's looking at. Gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble. You see, gold, silver, precious stones will melt, but they don't disintegrate. Wood, hay, stubble disintegrates. And it does not, there's nothing left of it. Once it burns, it's done. It's gone. So, this is what I'm trying to explain is that you have a future ahead of you where you're going to face God on judgment day. Let's continue on to verse 14. If any man's work abide, which he hath built there upon, meaning built upon the the foundation of Christ, he shall receive a reward, or you're going to be paid for your services. I love that. The translation of that word reward means to be paid for services, wages. And then if any man's work shall be burned, consumed holy, meaning the wood, the hay, the stubble, and there was nothing left. It was consumed completely. Look at this. It says he shall suffer loss, which means be injured, but he himself shall be saved. Look at this. Delivered, protect, preserved, healed. Yes. So as by fire. You see, you don't lose your salvation. It just means you came into heaven with nothing of value of what you did as works here on the earth when you walked on the foundation of Jesus. I hope you're grasping this because this changes the dynamics of things. You see, I'm not talking about um living for Christ and doing it fakeely. I'm going to give you some examples of what it's like to do something appropriately in the living word of God that becomes valuable and becomes valuable for you. Because see, when you're working out your salvation with the Lord, it is about you and your presence with the Lord, it's not about what the outcome of whether somebody gets saved or not by what you do. It's not by the outcome of whether they believe or not because the Holy Spirit is going to work on them. It is about you and your walk with Christ and whether you're putting valuable works into your life onto the foundation of Christ that will pass the test of fire. Because if you're not putting anything valuable there, let's go look at what Jesus has to say in John 14:12. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth or have faith on me. The works that I do, he shall do also, and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my father. So, he's your foundation. You're supposed to be doing valuable works. Now, God understands your free will. He knows who you are. He knows what kind of person you are. And he has built those personalities into salvation. And he explains it in the parable of the swer. Let's go look at that because I think once you see this and grasp it, we can elaborate further on these values. Amen. These workable value, values of work. Uh we're in Matthew 13:18-23. Hear ye therefore the parable of the swer. When anyone heareth or gives in an audience the word of the kingdom. So this is something said or thought of whether and this is on the kingdom of God. And then you put it together. You understand it. Not look at look at what this is saying. When one hearth the word of the kingdom and understandeth it not. You couldn't put it together. You see somebody's talking to you about salvation but you're not getting it. And if you watch a lot of the videos on social media, you will see some kids questioning things like, "But why? Why is he allowing this evil? Why does it have to be done this way? Why? I think all ways can get to God." You see, watch this. Watch. This is very powerful. Then cometh. So when one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it, not could not put it together, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the wayside. If you're a gardener, you will know that there are some plants and seeds that are very easy to germinate from seed from uh uh starting a seed. You plant a seed, you water it, you know, you do whatever you got to do to make that seed. But there are some that are very very temperamental. Well, this is one of them. These are people um that has that personality. They hear the word of God and they're questioning it and the questions aren't meshing to the level of faith because they're not understanding it. So, they're not receiving. And so, the Satan comes in and quickly snatches them away and gets them out of there. And they feel much better to rebel and to fight um things that they think are right. You know, love is love. You know what I'm talking about there. They think that is right when God is saying out of obedience whether you understand it or not. Yeah, I love you but I don't love your sin and I call that a sin because I tell you to be fruitful and multiply and that sin will not be fruitful and multiply. It's just because you don't understand that yet. That's okay. That's okay. But that means you have to come into obedience. These people don't. So you can see that personality here. They're not going to have any valuable works because they failed to establish the foundation of God in their lives. Let's continue on and look at the next level in the parable of the sewer. Verse 20. But he that received the seed into stony places, stony places is hardhearted. Watch this one. The same is he that heareth the word and anon or straight level with joy receive it. He receives. He's hard-hearted, but he received yet hath he not root in himself, but durth for a while. For when tribulation or pressure, persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by, he is offended, which means scandalized or entrapped. Now, did he not become a believer? No. He received it with joy. The issue is is his personality. His personality did not allow him to drill in the root of looking at the word, finding out who Jesus. Now, there's two parts to that. This person could have done it on his own through the Holy Spirit or the one who led him to the Lord didn't show him that these are things you have to do to uh to make your foundation your foundation in Christ. Sure. But either way, the spirit's involved and the spirit goes forth and this person didn't grab it or didn't sustain it and got caught up in the scandalized and got offended and they accuse the church of everything and anything. So, you've got that personality out there, right? You think that person is making valuable works or they're just accusing the church. You see, I'm going to teach you how to turn that into a valuable work appropriately and hopefully open your eyes to help change the hearts and the minds of these people simply by praying and letting the Holy Spirit do his part. But you get the valuable work out of it because you prayed. We're going to we'll show you that. It's awesome. This is a great teaching. Uh verse 22. He also that receiveth seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word and the let me read that again. I'm g start again. He also that receiveth seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word and the care of this world or the distraction of this world and the deceitfulness delusion of riches wealth choked or strangled completely the word and he becometh unfruitful or barren. Okay. So now I'm going to stop here. This is what the Christian most people see every day. They go to church, their church is teaching them to claim the values of wealth. They have their wealth. They're claiming their wealth. And it is all about wealth for them. And it is nothing to do with the world or the the word of God actually. It is all about themselves about how wealthy they are and how the cares of the world they get involved with. They get involved with royalty. Uh who's who. Uh the type of clothing keeping up with the Joneses. These are a type of Christian. Again, they're a Christian, but they're not putting anything valuable into the works that's going to be tried by fire, and those works are not going to be sustained. Now, let's look at the next one. I'm trying to show you all the little different ones here. Verse 23. But he that receives seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word and understandeth. He put it all together. He comprehended it, which also beareth fruit and bringeth forth. Some 100fold, some 60, some 30. Now there are believers in Christ who decide to go to the next level. So we got our foundation of Christ. We open the Bible, we read the Bible, we get into the word of God. We spend time in the secret place with the Lord. We praise God at home in everything we do at our jobs and at church. And we live the exemplary type of life that hopefully others will see and be hunger and hungry and thirsty for it and want it too. Now, what is a valuable work and what is an invaluable work? Because now that you see the different types of Christians out there, let's kind of get down to the root of what this is and and let's go to Colossians 3. We're start here in verse 23. Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily or from the spirit as to the Lord and not unto men. Very key there. We're talking from the spirit. We are not talking about works that are earthly works. We are talking spiritual works because we operate in the spirit. We do not fight against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities. Okay? And there's more to that scripture. You can read that scripture on your own if you like. Verse 24. Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance heir possession for ye serve the Lord Christ. You see how doing it from heartily from the spirit to the Lord and not unto men. This is what I was referring to earlier. You do your part. It doesn't matter the outcome of them because you're doing it. But you need to do it in the spirit. And I'm going to show that a little further. Verse 25. But he that doeth wrong or to be unjust shall receive the wrong which he hath done. And there is no respect of persons. You can do wrong. You can be a man, a woman, you can be black, white, you could be green, an alien, UFO, whatever you do wrong. You will have wrong come back onto you. There's what's called the Abrahamic curse and you can go look at that. The Abrahamic blessing and cursing and basically if you curse Israel, the curses are on you. You bless Israel, you will be blessed. And that blessing and cursing still applies to this day. So the valuable work has to do with the spirit now. Okay? Now remember this has nothing to do with whether you're going to enter heaven or not. You're going to enter heaven. It's a question of how you're going to enter heaven. You see, if you're putting in the valuable works, you're going to slide into heaven and you're going to be the cool man and you're going to be placed in a position because you've got your value of all the things. Of course, it comes with humility and things of that nature. So, but you're going to walk in like that because God has already blessed you because you had already started your spiritual life here in the earth on in your flesh. And that means your eternity already began. So, he's already teaching you positions in heaven that you're going to operate here and now. When you're not doing anything of value and it gets tested by fire and all that burns, you walk in, but you're going to have to go through training and other areas before you can be moved into into any position. Your inheritance is that you got into heaven. You just didn't get anything more out of it. As to what is more, heaven is a mystery. But I know this, it's better than this place. Amen. Now, what is a valuable uh thing here on earth that you can do? So, let's say you you see a pastor mess up, and I use this all the time uh in part of my analogies, especially when I remind you guys, listen, if you if I mess up, don't come attacking the messenger. Listen, the L the Lord will talk to me. And he doesn't. And I've I've done that through my history. If you watch my videos in history, you will see I have I was misquing um Joel 2:32. Is Joel 21:13 for I think I did it three messages in a row. But the Holy Spirit caught me and he taught me and I caught it. And the next message I said, "Oh, you know, I I didn't go re-record those messages. I shouldn't have to." This is how it works. Never go after the anointed one in a position. So if you have a leader in the church who is not following the principles of the Bible, meaning he's got a wobbly foundation going on. He's misleading people and there he's under a delusion and a deception because he's forgetting the foundation of the word of God. Your job if you want the valuable work out of this is you need to pray for him. That is a value of gold, silver and precious stones that will go into your pile and God is going to count it as valuable whether that pastor changes or not. You see it has nothing to do with that pastor and the outcome. It has to do with whether you were obedient and gave it to the Lord. Now, there is a calling that the Bible teaches us of how to go minister to a pastor if need be. Now, it could it may need to come from another pastor. It may need to come from his friend, but somebody will do it. But your prayer will go farther than anything you can say or condemn him in the public. You will not get anywhere. If you choose to condemn him and bring him down in public, all you're doing is putting an invaluable item in your pile. So, it's going to be burned. It's going to be that wood, the hay, the stubble. It's going to burn away. It ain't valuable. That's just one example. Now, how when you go to pray in the spirit, what are you praying? Look, I want you to understand um because the Lord's going to teach you how to pray. And I've been dealing with prayer since um well, the end of last year, November, December, maybe even as early as October. And then we started doing uh the new prayers. I had a new empowering prayers on the website. You can go check those out. And there is a big call for prayer right now in the churches. If you haven't caught on to that, you're not paying attention. I want you to pay attention. So look, look at how we should do this. How we get this valuable work in our pile. Hebrews 11:6. But without faith or persuasion, credence, it is impossible to please him. Who? Please God. For he that cometh to God must believe, have faith that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek out, investigate. No, notice, you are rewarded for seeking him out, no matter what the outcome is. I hope that you are grasping that because we're talking valuable works versus invaluable works. how to be a beloved believer in Christ and yet still have your reward and inheritance, not losing a salvation, but being able to walk in and still have something to walk in with that is valuable. And you'll be surprised because I I'll know this much. Many people and and you see this is why we're not God and we're not the Holy Spirit and we shouldn't try to do their jobs for them. Many people who face a crisis situation in their lives automatically call out to God. That is salvation. That's confession. This is why bad things happen. Sometimes it it needs to happen bad in order to wake you up because if everything's going good, why would you need God? You see, and I think a lot of people misunderstand that concept of it. You know, God is in control. God is in control of everything, good and evil. So once you grasp it and by the way that changed my my whole walk with Christ when that happened handful of years ago and I taught on it here it is acknowledging and realizing that when God is in control it's a it's a humbling factor in your life because suddenly okay God I don't know why I'm being attacked but I'm going to come to you I'm g praise you I'm going worship you and I'm going to act in obedience by coming to you and giving you this thing and I'm going to cast it out. But I am also asking help me fix my walk if I'm doing something wrong. Am I saying something wrong? Am I misunderstanding something wrong? That is a valuable prayer that goes in the pile. And then what happens is as you open your word of God, he begins to work in you through the spirit and your walk changes. Now sometimes go to Paul's life. Look at his life as a believer in Christ. He stood up against the sin of what was going on in the cities and he vocalized. He went to prison for it. He was buffeted by either the Holy Spirit, this the Satan, the spirits that were preventing him from going towards us. Cuz see, he knew in his mind that he had the keys to the kingdom of heaven. He knew that what he loosed was loosed and what he bound was bound. He knew that he can go forward and make a change in all of these areas and he tried and something stopped him. You see, he was moving into this region of spirituality while he was still a man and God being the one in control says, "Let's calm down. I know you got it. I need you to go here and do this." And this is where the Christian's life and walk changes. Paul was buffeted. It knocked him down. Whether he got sick, whether he he had a thorn in his side, whatever it was, we don't know really what that was. We can surmise. But either way, he was having some serious issues. Could have been with the mind. It could have been anything. This is where you come in and say, "Well, Lord, then I'm going to choose to have a relationship with you because I believe that you're in control. you're God and I'm just going to give it to you. And you see now God says, "Okay, now I want you here and he's going to show you and move you around." He's going to help you put your valuable works on the table. So it passes the test of fire. Amen. Romans 14:7-10. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. I want you to catch this because Paul caught it. You see, it's not about doing this for even the valuable things that we want to put in our pile, but it is for us having that better relationship with Christ. And that whatever the outcome is as between the spirit, God, and that person, not you. And this is the scripture for that. For whether we live, we live into the Lord. And whether we die, we die unto the Lord. Whether we live therefore we or die, we are the Lord's. I hope you're getting this. Understand that whether you actually do the prayer and you pray for that person or you don't, you're still a believer in Christ because you are of the Lord. Now, you may live longer because you did it and you got the value in there or you may die a quicker death, but you're still of the Lord. I hope you're getting this. This is very powerful, very blatant, very straightforward scripture. You cannot deny. Look at verse 9 and 10. For to this end Christ both died and rose and revived that he might be Lord both of the dead and the living. Meaning both whether you choose to do a valuable thing for your life or you choose to do an invaluable work in your life. Oh, I hope you're catching this. But why dust thou judge thy brother? Or why dust thou set not thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. You see now he's talking about exactly what I'm talking about. So if you're going to go judge your brother, he's saying go in the spirit and do it valuably. Do the work appropriately under the spirit of God. Give your brother to the Lord in the spirit. Don't go and condemn him. Don't go because see whether you're going to die or live. Christ died for both and you have to stand before the judgment seat. It doesn't matter. I hope you're getting this. I pray and I hope that others will follow my example and choose the the path where you put the valuable things down in the spirit on your foundation of Jesus Christ. But if you choose to walk away, I bless you and I I I give you to the Lord. I pray I forgive you. Remember who you forgive, Jesus forgives. So walk in forgiveness for your brother and sister in the Lord. You need to be doing that because when you're forgiving, there's another valuable item you are adding to the foundation that's going to pass the test of fire. But again, Jesus died for both. So, if you miss one time that you didn't do something valuable, it's not the end of the world. You catch it on the next one. You see, I don't want you to feel condemned or guilty because you missed something. What you simply do is you forgive and you move on. Forgive yourself. Again, that's a valuable work that you add to the pile. You turn your life around and you walk with Christ. I hope you're grasping this. This is awesome. Verse 10. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad, worthless, worth, worthy or worthless on your body. By the way, notice that this is about your body. You know, um remember we are under a curse. When man fell, we become part of death. Every man is appointed to die once. Hebrews 9:27. And that means to die, we're aging. But every moment you spend with Christ, the aging slows down. So even though the curse is there, we can be an overcomer. We're still in this flesh. This flesh is still going to fall. But God sent his son. And that means our soul and our spirit, he's going to choose us. He's going to pull us out of this. We're going to be with him in eternity. Amen. Whether we did a valuable thing or a worthless or invaluable thing. I hope you're getting that. See, Romans 10:9 simply tells you that if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. That's all it takes. So, the moment you're in a situation where you say, "Lord Jesus," and maybe nobody ever hears you say this, just the Holy Spirit, and you choose to do invaluable, you're saved. You see, this is why we can't condemn our brothers and sisters in the Lord. This is why we have to have compassion and love and forgiveness for them. We don't know what's going on in their hearts, but the Holy Spirit does. And it is possible and very highly probable that they called on Christ somewhere along their life because all of us face some sort of hardship in our lives. And I'm going to tell you right now, I've done my fair share of calling on Christ, saying, "Forgive me. Forgive me. Forgive me." especially when I get sick or anything of that nature and it's like h Lord what did I do and then I realize has nothing to do with that you know what I'm still you know what I be I I treat it like I'm kind of like Job where you know what devil you want to attack me with a sickness or whatever so be it I'm still going to worship God I'm still going to pray and of course I I go into my bed and I'm praying to the Lord and there I am I said Lord I know I'm being a whiny baby about this one but I need your divine intervention here to clear out this cold or sickness. And that's what I do. I'm not going to let it uh bring me down spiritually, spirit, morally spiritually because I still serve God and I'm going to still be obedient to him whether whatever happens because God comes first. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. Matthew 6:33. 2 Corinthians 5:21. For he hath made him to be sin, an offense for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness, equity, justification of God in him. You see, Christ did this for us to give us this moment. He died for us. He died for whether we choose to walk valuable with him or we choose to walk in invaluable works with him. It doesn't matter. He chose to die for us. Doesn't matter. We need to just repent. And this is where it comes very important, my friends, to be careful of your biblical principles that you stand on. I'm not saying you're going to lose your salvation, but you could bring a curse upon yourself. If you are teaching and leading people that you're of unsuress in whatever you're trying to teach, that's a sin. You need to forgive that. You need to forgive yourself and you need to ask the Lord to give you the wisdom and knowledge and understanding of that scripture so that you can teach it appropriately. Because if you got the call of teaching upon your life, you should be teaching the word of God in knowledge, his knowledge, not your own. You shouldn't be teaching on what you think you know. You shouldn't be limiting God and the spirit to what you think should be the outcome and how the outcome should occur. Don't do that. However, you can't go in and pray and say, "Well, Lord, if you want to do it this way, fine. If you want to do another way, fine. I'm just here to support you in prayer because you're not God. But that's a valuable work that you put in your life." Amen. I hope you get this message and you're blessed by this word as I am. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word and we thank you for applying it to our lives and that we can live by it and that we go and build valuable works on you in the spirit, Father God, in your foundation, Jesus. Thank you for teaching us that and giving us the strength and the encouragement to stand strong in you, Lord, for you are great and this is about you in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. God bless you. See you in the next video. Bye-bye. Previous Next Home

  • THE DUALITY OF LIFE | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

THE DUALITY OF LIFE To explain the eternal duality of life as revealed in Scripture—being either “inside” or “outside” of God’s kingdom—and to emphasize that faith in God’s Word and obedience to its truth determine one’s eternal destiny. The lesson seeks to encourage belief in God’s promises, warn against deception and falsehood, and invite all to choose life by thirsting for and receiving the living water freely offered through Christ. THE DUALITY OF LIFE Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: To explain the eternal duality of life as revealed in Scripture—being either “inside” or “outside” of God’s kingdom—and to emphasize that faith in God’s Word and obedience to its truth determine one’s eternal destiny. The lesson seeks to encourage belief in God’s promises, warn against deception and falsehood, and invite all to choose life by thirsting for and receiving the living water freely offered through Christ. Synopsis: The Duality of Life centers on Revelation 22:14–15, where Scripture draws a sharp distinction between those who enter the celestial city and those left outside. The teaching highlights that life and eternity hinge on a simple but profound truth: one is either “in” or “out.” The deciding factor is faith—belief in God’s Word and the willingness to live by its precepts. The message traces how faith opens the way to eternal life, while unbelief results in exclusion. Those who reject God’s Word are said to practice a lie, building their lives on delusion, idolatry, and false promises. This downward progression ultimately leads to immorality, sorcery, hatred, and murder, all of which characterize those outside God’s city. By contrast, those who hear, thirst, and respond to God’s invitation are drawn into the life-giving reality of His Word. Tribulations often awaken this thirst, leading believers from temporary desires to eternal ones. Preaching and teaching God’s Word play a vital role in stirring faith, for “faith comes by hearing.” The contrast is clear: God’s Word is truth, while unbelief is a lie. The eternal destiny of every soul depends on their response to this truth. In the end, the teaching exhorts the reader to choose wisely: to embrace God’s Word, drink freely of the living water, and thereby be counted among the blessed who enter into life—rather than the deceived who remain outside forever. Inspired Teaching: Revelation 22:14-15 “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” The one thing about life is that your are either in or you are out. When the final judgment day comes it will be the same, you are either in or you are out. What decides as to whether one makes it in or out depends on what we believe. Those who believe the Word of God and try to live by its precepts will have the right to enter into the celestial city, however those who choose not to believe what the Word of God says will be left out. Faith is what casts the final vote, for even atheists believe, for they have faith in their belief that there is no God. Everyone that chooses not to believe in the Word of God practices a lie, and by their own actions they keep themselves out of the celestial city. After all I bet that you never heard of a person that wants to travel to a city that they do not believe it really exists. Revelation 22:6 “Then he said to me, ‘These words (and the fulfillment of these prophetic words) are faithful and true.’ And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.” So that it is the words that are written in the Bible and their prophetic fulfillment that we are required to believe in if we want to enter into His eternal abode; for failure to do so will keep us out forever. Revelation 22:7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” A person that is allowed to enter through the pearly gates into the celestial city is in deed truly blessed! What is it that draws people to believe what the Bible teaches? Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” Three things are listed that progressively will lead a person to take the water of life freely, which is to have faith in the Word of God. You have to have ears to hear the invitation of the Spirit and the bride. A person who is not thirsty does not look for a drink, for there is no desire, no thirst within him. Such a person does not hear the call until there is a need. Jesus told us that in this world we would have tribulations. For as it turns out, it is mostly when we are having problems or are in a desperate need that we try to reach out and hear from God; and that is God’s desire for us, that we turn to Him even if it is only when we are in need. However, once we hear Him, His desire is that we progress into thirsting for eternal things rather than the temporal things that we usually crave. As we begin to read and study the Word of God, the emphasis for our life will begin to change from that of temporal things to eternal things. Once our desires are changed, the things that we thirst for will also change, but none of that can happen until we hear from the Word of God. Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” This is why we preach and teach the Word of God, so that when there is a need in your life that the world cannot cure, and remember that the world’s cure is always worse than the disease itself. You would turn to Him who is able to satisfy you with His living waters, that once you partake of, you will never thirst again for they are eternal. In the list of those who are kept out we see a progression as well: Revelation 22:15 “But outside are dogs (unbelievers) and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” It all begins, or should I say begin and end, with a lie, which is the absence of the truth, for those who refuse to hear the Word of God. God is truth. His Word is truth. A man’s refusal to believe in the truth makes that man a liar, and a person that is a liar is an idolater. For that person refuses to believe in the truth, or in what is real, and the purpose of believing that which is not truth or real is a delusion. Zechariah 10:2 “For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies and tell false dreams…” Idolaters are void of the truth of God’s love and the opposite of love is hate; hate that leads to the murdering of those who believe in the truth. John 8:43-44 “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” Sexual immorality is the physical representation of idolatry, which is the lusting after the things that are not really real. Things that do not offer real satisfaction, for the lusting after them is based on diluted reasoning. 1 Corinthians 10:8 “Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.” Sorcerers traffic in the trade of illusions that are manufactured through the manipulation of the human senses by external as well as internal means, as in drug abuse. Sensuality goes hand in hand with sexual immorality or in other words, the allure that they both offer is an illusion that will never truly satisfy the thirsty soul. So that none of those lying crafts or those who continue to practice them will make it into the heavenly New Jerusalem, for God will judge them. Jesus told us that it all began with them not being able to hear, for had they been able to listen to His Word, their desires would have been transformed into godly desires as the Word of God judged them internally by exposing the desires of their hearts that were based on a lie, and they would have thirsted for that which is real and satisfying instead, which is the truth of God’s Word. 1 Corinthians 5:12-13 “For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore put away from yourselves the evil person.” Those who can clearly hear the Word of God will develop a thirst for it, and those who thirst after the Word of God will have all their desires totally satisfied, as it is written: Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely! So which side of life do you want to be on? Do you want to be in the inside of life, or on the outside of life? How you regard the Holy Scriptures will determine which side of life you end up with! The devil, the world, the secular media, secular humanists, godless politicians, godless professors, the supreme court, and everybody else that they can get to ride their omnibus, will try to persuade you not to listen or prohibit you from listening and adhering to the Word of God and to its life giving principles. The irony is that you truly have a choice, choose life! Previous Next Home

  • THE ENTIRETY OF YOUR WORD IS TRUTH | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

THE ENTIRETY OF YOUR WORD IS TRUTH The objective of this teaching is to affirm the believer’s confidence in the absolute, unchanging truth of God’s Word. It emphasizes that truth is not relative nor subject to human circumstances, but is embodied in Christ Himself and confirmed in every one of God’s righteous judgments, which endure forever. By understanding the immutability of God’s Word and covenant, Christians are encouraged to remain steadfast in their faith, resist the enemy’s attempts to sow doubt, and live in the peace and security that comes from loving and trusting the entirety of Scripture. THE ENTIRETY OF YOUR WORD IS TRUTH Pastor Marcos Marrero March 17, 2019 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to affirm the believer’s confidence in the absolute, unchanging truth of God’s Word. Synopsis: In The Entirety of Your Word is Truth, Pastor Marcos explores Psalm 119:160 and John 18–19 to reveal the eternal nature of God’s Word and its embodiment in Christ. The message begins with Pilate’s question to Jesus, “What is truth?”, showing the tragic irony of looking Truth in the face yet failing to accept Him. Pilate recognized Jesus’ innocence but still surrendered to lies and political pressure, a vivid illustration of humanity’s tendency to suppress absolute truth. Pastor Marcos explains that God’s Word is not fragmented or situational; it is whole and unchanging. The challenge for believers lies in resisting the natural human inclination to treat truth as variable, shaped by circumstances or feelings. This tendency originates from Adam and Eve, who chose to believe the lie instead of God’s eternal Word. Likewise, Christians today face constant assaults on the truth of Scripture, where even doubting a single righteous judgment weakens their stance in faith. The message highlights God’s covenant oath through Jesus Christ, the High Priest after the order of Melchizedek, sealed by two immutable realities: God cannot lie, and He will not change His mind. This unshakable foundation assures believers of His steadfast love and the eternal validity of His promises. Loving God’s law—inseparable from loving Christ—produces peace and prevents stumbling. Finally, Pastor Marcos exhorts believers to respond to attacks on God’s truth not with doubt, but with holy disgust toward lies and slander. By holding firmly to His testimonies, loving His law, and becoming doers of the Word, Christians can stand secure in God’s unchanging covenant love. Jesus, the very embodiment of God’s Word, guarantees that His truth endures forever—demanding our eternal trust and devotion. Inspired Teaching: Psalm 119:160 “The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.” If there is a kink in the armor of the faithful it has to be in their failure to comprehend the entirety of truth presented to us in God’s Word. It was Pilate who beholding into the face of Truth, stupidly asked what has to be the dumbest question ever asked: What is truth? John 18:38 “Pilate said to Him, ‘What is truth?’...I find no fault in Him at all.” I do not fault people for not knowing what truth is if they have not met Truth, but Pilate met Truth in person and recognized Him to be Truth, for he also said that he found no fault in Him; if there is no fault in Him then He is the real thing, the entirety of truth. Is there something going on here that can help us to understand what the entirety of God’s Truth is? Let’s take a look at what Jesus said to Pilate first, who by the way, was not a stupid man, for Pilate’s position required him to be astute in both, politics and governance, which requires great insight into matters of understanding people’s behavior in regards to the application of laws. John 18:37 “Pilate therefore said to Him, ‘Are you a king then?’ Jesus answered, ‘You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.’” Pilate knew that the charges that they were brought against Jesus were politically motivated, for the ministry of Jesus was a threat to the Jewish leadership of that time. Pilate saw this as a struggle for power between the Jews, and he saw himself as the kingmaker. So that in essence what Pilate asked Jesus was this, Tell me, why should I make You a king, what’s in it for me? To which Jesus responded, You know that I am a King for you have seen My authority (I’m paraphrasing). Then Jesus reveals to Pilate what His ministry, or kingship, was really all about, For this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. It was at that point that Pilate crossed the line, in what is a normal human response when confronted with undeniable truth, he turned and mocked Truth! After that Pilate tried unsuccessfully to extricate himself from the matter. He tried to release Jesus indirectly, by putting Him side by side with the worse criminal, but they chose the criminal over Jesus. He had Jesus tortured and punished by having Him scourged, mocked, and ridiculed, then he brought Jesus before His accusers and said: John 19:5 “Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, ‘Behold the Man!’” But it was not enough to satisfy the lie, for the lie can never exist while in the presence of Truth, no matter how much the truth is ridiculed. John 19:6 “Therefore, when the chief priest and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, ‘Crucify Him, crucify Him!’ Pilate said to them, ‘You take Him and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him.’” The reality is that once a person is confronted with Truth there is no going back, they can try to suppress the truth all they want, but like in the case of Pilate’s actions, to no avail. What is the message here for us who believe that Jesus is the Truth? Is He the entirety of Truth, or like Pilate, are we struggling to come to terms with the reality of it? Let me explain what I mean. Here is what the second part of our opening text reveals to us. Every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. Our normal human response to truth is to recognize it at first, but we are also influenced to believe that truth can change in response to the changing circumstances. In other words, we inheritably take issue with absolute truth that endures forever. We inherited that predisposition from Adam and Eve who believed the lie of the devil at the cost of partaking of the tree of life, which is: Every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. So that as Christians we are confronted with a constant assault against the truth of the Word of God in which we first believed. All the devil has to do is to get us to doubt just one of His righteous judgments, and just like that, we will find ourselves outside of the absolute truth that endures forever. And like Pilate we try hard to make up for our deficiencies and we just end up making it worse. Here is the key that keeps us from falling away from the Word of Truth: Psalm 119:157 “Many are my persecutors and my enemies, yet I do not turn from Your testimonies.” I do not turn from Your testimonies, plural, that means I keep every one of them, and I know that His testimonies, or covenant, endure forever. In order to keep all His testimonies, all the time, we need to understand the covenant that God has secured to His testimonies. For we cannot keep any of His testimonies outside of the covenant of salvation. Hebrews 6:17-18 “Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel (His testimonies), confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.” The context is the priesthood of Jesus as the mediator of the new covenant, and it is within this context that God takes an oath which is based on two immutable, or unchangeable things: First is the fact that it is impossible for God to lie. The second is that God swore to the priest from Melchizedek’s line that He would not change His mind. Hebrews 7:21 “...The Lord has sworn and will not relent (change His mind), ‘You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.’” Can you see how God deals with the tendency of our fallen human nature to see truth from the context of changing? He removes any grounds to doubt that we may entertain, by basing the New Covenant on two unchangeable facts: The God who cannot lie, swore that He would not change His mind! In the natural we see some things that are very dear to us today, fall out of our favor tomorrow. Persons that we love and have sworn to love in the past, can give us reason today that causes us to change our minds and our feelings towards them. And that is how we tend to see ourselves in the sight of God. When we are trusting in His testimonies we feel good and secured. When we struggle to comprehend the truth of His promises to us, we wonder if we’ve done something that caused Him to change His mind about us. Without love there is no way to resolve this. Psalm 119:165 “Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.” I love His law because I love Jesus; God’s law, God’s Word, God’s promises, God’s statutes, are one and the same with Jesus! The law of the Lord is perfect because Jesus is perfect! The law of the Lord is perfected in us when we put our trust in the entirety of God’s Word! Jesus is perfect in every way, therefore we love and trust Jesus in every way, there is no reason then why we should not put our trust in the entirety of God’s Word at all times, all the time, for ever and forever. Jesus loves us and has saved us; He swore on an oath, and He cannot lie, that He would not change His mind about His love for us. He loves us eternally and unconditionally, is there any reason why we should not love Him and His Word eternally and unconditionally as well? I see none! How do we handle then, the daily barrage that continuously confronts our trust and confidence in the Word and promises of God to us? Psalm 119:158 “I see the treacherous, and am disgusted, because they do not keep Your word.” Here is something new, instead of distrust, when doubts are raised about the veracity of God’s Word, it is disgust toward the slanderers that raises up from within us. Is it not so that when something treasured that is beautiful and lovely is slandered, that contempt towards the slanderers is what rises? Why should we doubt the immutable and unchangeable Word of God that promises us God’s unending, fervent, and perfect love? Is not Jesus the manifestation of God’s perfect love towards us? John 3:17 “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” What part of Jesus do we not love or agree with? If we love and agree with all that Jesus is and did for us, then we also must believe that the entirety of God’s Word is truth. Since it is God’s Word who testifies of Him and of His love and of His covenant that He made on our behalf. We cannot and should not have one outside of the other! Psalm 119:166 “Lord, I hope for Your salvation, and I do Your commandments.” James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” Previous Next Home

  • THE PEACE THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

THE PEACE THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING To teach believers how to experience and walk in the supernatural peace of God that transcends human understanding, especially in turbulent and uncertain times. The message aims to equip listeners with scriptural truths, historical examples, and practical application, so they may remain steadfast, confident, and at rest in Christ while recognizing God’s sovereign plan unfolding in the world. < Back THE PEACE THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING Minister Lisa Kane November 13, 2022 Objective: To teach believers how to experience and walk in the supernatural peace of God that transcends human understanding, especially in turbulent and uncertain times. The message aims to equip listeners with scriptural truths, historical examples, and practical application, so they may remain steadfast, confident, and at rest in Christ while recognizing God’s sovereign plan unfolding in the world. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa Kane explores Philippians 4:7–9 as the foundation for understanding God’s peace. She highlights Paul’s example of living free in spirit despite physical bondage, showing that true peace is rooted in Christ rather than circumstances. Drawing parallels from biblical history—such as Israel’s deliverance from Egypt and the rejection of Christ in His day—Lisa emphasizes that God often works through the separation of two groups: those who trust Him and those who resist Him. She connects these truths to current world events, including political upheaval, prophetic fulfillment in Israel, and end-time signs foretold by Jesus in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13. Despite troubling circumstances, believers are called to focus on eternity, walk in righteousness, and live in confidence that God’s plan is advancing. The message explains the mystery of death, the rapture, and the power of baptism as symbolic of dying to sin and living in newness of life. Lisa stresses the importance of nourishing the Word of God like a seed, so it grows into spiritual maturity and peace. She also addresses the vital role of confession and the spoken word in aligning with God’s promises, binding and loosing in spiritual authority, and casting burdens onto the Lord. Through personal testimony, biblical teaching, and prophetic insight, the message reassures listeners that God’s peace is available and powerful. By humbling themselves, casting cares on Him, and standing in faith, believers can overcome fear, frustration, and deception, setting a testimony of peace for the world to witness in these last days. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane. I'm recording this on Sunday, November 13, 2022. And this message is called the peace that surpasses all understanding. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this word and we thank you for your blessing on it. Oh, let it penetrate our hearts and minds. Let us believe, receive, apply, and live your word. Thank you for the power of your word. And thank you, Jesus, for coming and dying on the cross for our sins and showing us this powerful peace that we have in spite of your return that we can be here in peace and know that our eyes are focused on you and have that confidence in you, Lord. Thank you, Father God. In the glorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go into our opening scripture here in Philippians 4:es 7 and 9. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me these do and the God of peace will be with you. Paul wrote those words and Paul was a very determined man of God. He set an example for us and you can see what he says here. He clearly says it. Look at you know the things you which you learned and received and heard and saw in me these do. So he said, I set an example here. You know, he came to the point in his life where he was content even in bondage because he wasn't in bondage. He was always free in his mind and in his heart. And that is what I'm going to teach you today because we are in some very interesting times. And I want to show you some mystery in relation to these times because you know I have been telling everyone look at our current US election results here and I've been telling everyone around me there isn't going to be a red wave and the demons are going to win everything back because we need evil in power for the return of the Lord. And because we saw Matthew 24's beginning scriptures, Luke 21, Mark 13, the beginning set of scriptures that Jesus prophesied about, rumors of wars, wars, large earthquakes in various places, famines, pestilences, COVID that those prophecies came fulfilled in our lifetime, in our we saw it. I'm a I witnessed that and I testified to that. Amen. And each person who saw that knows. Now, in that context, Jesus said, "This generation shall not pass away." So, for all you folks out there that says, "Well, one, there's no rapture. And two, it hasn't happened in the last 2,000 years." Well, because that prophecy took place, it's going to be in our generation. And because the everything's in place for it as well, you know, the nation of Israel is the nation of Israel again. So, you can see everything played out. it I mean it's prophesied to the minute detail in such a way that you can see it and you know there is no doubt here. Okay. So I want to show you some scriptures because you need to know this and you need to have a piece about it because I'm going to tell you it gets extremely frustrating knowing that you did what you were supposed to do. You prayed, you fasted, you said, "Lord, this there's evil in in our leadership. What Lord intervene, intervene." And then there's others that just want to take action with their own hands. And it gets extremely frustrating. But let's remember Bible. Let's remember the history here. Egypt, God hardened Pharaoh's heart. Moses and Aaron were in the presence of the Pharaoh and tell and showing signs and wonders and this man still refused to let his people go because God interveneed. And then and notice there were two groups of people. We have two groups of people today. So you had the Egyptians who did not believe in God. You had the Israelites, the nation of Israel, who did believe in God and God separated them. God pulled the nation of Israel out into the wilderness. And the Egyptians because they rejected God, which you know, this was God's purpose. God said, "I harden Pharaoh's heart." He did it on purpose. He killed them all with the water in the uh Red Sea and that separated the nation of Israel and Egypt permanently because we know that the nation of Israel wanted to go back. We also know that in Jesus' day you had two groups of people and that was very interesting because you had the group that was crucifying Jesus, the nation of Israel rejecting him and then you had his followers and you saw the the change take place. the the veil was torn in two and you saw the one group get rejected and you know they went into like the nation of Israel kind of just shut down. I mean they they have their seven years still left. Remember revelation is coming that is for the nation of Israel that is not for the bride of Christ. So but God created two things. He he took the representation of God from himself, from the nation of Israel, put it on Jesus, and Jesus said, "Here, bride, you do this." So, I've been teaching on this now for several messages. So, this has happened, and that's what we're living in right now, where we have mercy and grace because of what Jesus did. He redeemed us. And again, two groups of people. So that generation that uh rejected Messiah, that generation that rejected God and letting his people go, well, they're known for that. What do you think this generation's going to be known for? They're going to be known for missing the boat because they're going to go into the seven-year tribulation because they did not repent. So you've got again the two groups of people here and one group can't control the other group because God is doing this. So how do you get your mind wrapped around that? Because I'm telling you these are very odd times. So, and and to reaffirm the word of God and its truth because, you know, when I was putting this message together, this part was so strongly in me. It's like I need to share it. So, let's look at this because this is going to build our confidence and assurance in the word of God in what's coming. Okay, that's what this is about. Watch the scriptures here. Look at this. Uh, I did not change a scripture. Let's go here. Here we go. Hebrews 9:27. And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. Okay, so one of the things that people struggle with and this remember I talked about a healthy theological debate about who the two witnesses are and stuff like this. Well, there's a mystery behind death. Okay. So, for those of you who still think that the rapture is not going to happen, that the word rapture is not in the Bible, the word caught up is, and in context is caught up with Jesus in the clouds, very very clearly spoken and very easy words to understand in the translations from Latin from Greek to Latin. Uh that's where the rapura Latin means caught up. Now, the Greek word is harpo, and it is a more powerful word because it says in the nick of time. It really is very applicable to what's going on. But the key here is, okay, if everyone's appointed to die once, and you're about to build your faith, watch, learn, look at, listen to this revelation. What about the people that change in the twinkling of an eye? They don't die. What about Enoch and Elijah who didn't die? Oh, let's reveal the mystery because I want you to have your faith built up here and see the return of Christ and have that knowledge because you need the confidence and assurance to have this peace that surpasses all understanding. Look at this scripture about believers in Christ. These are the ones that are going to get caught up with the Lord. Watch this. Romans 6, we're going to read verse 4 and verse 11. Therefore, we were buried with him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Likewise, you also reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to c to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. I want you to see something there. As soon as you are in the ministry with the Lord, okay, so this is what happens when you get saved. Remember, we're made from dirt, the soil. God formed man out of the dirt of the earth. And when we receive the word of God and that seed is planted in us because we're dirt, it gets planted in us. When we go to get baptized, we go down under the water. We come up, we germinate or we uh water the seed to germinate and start to grow. Now, what happens here is a couple of things. You know, you've seen plants make it and some don't. If you ever been a gardener of any kind, you will know that some make it, some don't. So, the key here is that you need to nourish the seed. You need to let it grow. And in order to do that, you have to expand your mind, get the revelation of the scripture, and let it grow into the tree of life because that is what you are. You represent life in Christ, which means you're dead to sin. So those that live righteously, which is going to lead to peace, and we're going to see that connect here. When you live righteously, you're called to go up in the rapture because the return of Christ is coming and you're going to change in the twinkling of an eye. And you're already dead. Your eternity already begins now. Just because you're still in the flesh doesn't mean anything. You're already on God's side in the heavenly realm. Amen. Oh, hallelujah. So now, because we can be in this times and we see all these things that are going on, you see how this all applies. Now, I want you to understand something. You know, uh, baptism is not necessary for salvation. And I know that a lot of people take it as this is your acknowledgement that you're a Christian. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Remember what the word of God says. The confession of your mouth is your salvation. Remember Jesus on the cross and he had two thieves on each side of him. One thief was thief was mocking him. The other thief says don't mock him. He's truly innocent here. Jesus said to the one guy who defended him, I assure you I will see you in paradise in a few hours. Was that thief baptized? No. So what happened when Jesus was baptized? Because remember, we need to follow his example just like we're following Paul's example. We got to follow their examples. They set the parameters for us today because we need that. We need to see it. We need to follow it because we need to be in our peace to go through these end times because we're a generation that's going to be well known for futures to come, for ages to come. Okay? Because we let it happen. Did we? No. But we were there trying our best and our hardest. But the outcome is evil will rule until and then the whole thing happens when Jesus comes on Armagand Armageddon. So this is very very powerful, very important that you need to know. You need to see that as you get baptized, what did Jesus do when he got baptized? He came up, he went into the wilderness and he dealt with the devil and then he went into ministry. So he dealt with the strong man and then he went and laid hands on people. That's what baptism is all about is laying hands on the sick and entering the kingdom of God. Let's let's look at that a little more specifically. Romans 14:17, for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. So you see, you enter the kingdom of God as soon as you are baptized. You start to germinate the seed. You turn into a new creation. You change and you enter into this realm that is so extraordinary that people look at you and and you do set the example because see let's say uh suffering happens. You're you're in a situation where there's suffering going on and you just pray and you're at peace and you continue to be at peace. People look at you and go, "How come you're not more stressed out about this?" And here's the thing is when you're walking in that peace and when they see all hell break loose because they're going to see it. That day of the Lord is coming. They're going to try to call you because they're going to see what you know. That's your testimony. That's what you need to be showing here and now. Colossians 3:15. and let the peace of God rule in your hearts to which also you were called in one body and be thankful. You see when you are standing in that peace, it is setting a testimony and it is ruling your heart so that people see and know and again this is building your confidence that we know that the Lord is returning. We saw that every man was appointed to die. They see that in the twinkling of the eye, these people that die, they're already dead in Christ. So, they don't have to die. God's going to take them. Enoch was righteous. God took him. Now, he hasn't died yet. Uh Elijah, he went up in a chariot of fire. God took him, too. He He's not dead either. We know that there's two witnesses that's not identified in Revelation. They will die three and a half years in. It's good chance of Enoch and Elijah because that is to fulfill scripture. And we know of the two evil antichrist men in Moses day that the earth swallowed up that I taught on last week. Dayan and Aberon as probably the prophet and the beast. So there was two other people who hadn't died. They've been judged though already. I the scriptures will fulfill itself. You have to realize this. This is why when you see this movement like in our US elections here, we everyone kept saying red wave, red wave. I'm like, you guys got to know scripture. If you know scripture, you will know that they're not going to win. Now, the Old Testament talked about this too in detail. And I want to show you some scripture there because I think you're going to see how applicable this is and how even the Old Testament and New Testament just connect and join together. It's really awesome. Watch this. Isaiah 32:16-20. Then justice will dwell in the wilderness and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. The work of righteousness will be peace and the effect of righteousness uh quietness and and assurance forever. The work of righteousness will be peace and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever. Verse 18, my people will dwell in a peaceful habitation in secure dwellings and in quiet resting places. Though hail comes down on the forest and the city is brought low in humiliation. Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, who send out freely the feet of the ox and the donkey. I want the reason I added those last two scriptures into that grouping there is I wanted you to see about the hail. I taught on this already. Scripture clearly tells us about the day of the Lord, the invasion of Gog and Magog and um the hail so bad that men curse God because of it. So, do you think that message of peace in that scripture was applicable to us today? Oh, you better believe it. Let's look at that again because I kind of stumbled over reading it. Watch this. Then justice will dwell in the wilderness and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. The work of righteousness will be peace. Remember I just talked about being in the right standing with God, having his word nourished, feeding it with his word, watering it so that you grow into this tree of life. To do that, you have to spend time in the word. And it's not enough to be in church once, two, three times a week. You have to spend the alone time with the Holy Spirit in order to get revelation. in order for you to rightly judge judge to rightly judge the teachings you're hearing. You can't do that unless you're in the scripture. And if you're just going to be that little old little sheep that just, you know, takes everything in and just follows what everybody does, you would have fell for this red wave. You see how this works? Now look at that. So the work of righteousness will be peace and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever. You see that confidence and assurance has built within you. You see, I already have that assurance because I've been spending time in the word and I knew what was going to happen. And look, the outcome is is that it happened. I'm telling you folks, it is absolutely imperative that you spend time in the word because you will be at peace and have that confidence. Now, let me show you how it works. Having this piece and applying it because I'm going to tell you right now, you can easily trip and fall. I almost did. Yeah, I was very upset. I'll get to that testimony here in a bit. I want you to see the scripture. This scripture I probably have in almost every message I teach, but is my favorite of all time. Look at this. Romans 10:9-10. that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes under righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made into salvation. Okay? You see that? With the mouth salvation is made. Look at that. Uh with the mouth confession is made into salvation. So the confession of the spoken word remember and I taught on this last time was let there be light that spoken word the power of the numa. Okay. So to have that peace. So sharing a little testimony here without the details. I just know that I was very upset at work a couple Fridays ago and uh I remember just sitting there in the bathroom. I was mad there. you know, something should have happened, didn't happen. Anyways, and you know, that goes to show where your heart and mind is, by the way. So, I'm using myself as a testimony here. So, I'm in the bathroom. I'm just crying out to God cuz I'm mad. And he says, "Well, what's more important? What I was mad about or his return?" And it put me in perspective very quickly. and all that emotion. But see, I had gone to God and I said, "Lord, I am mad about this." And he got me back on the right track. And because I spoke the situation to him, I gave it to him. Remember what Moses had to do with them birthe? They were the spirit of antichrist. They're in the wilderness for 40 years and they had been there for some time. And these two guys with their families and whomever sided with them went to Moses and said, "Who made you prince over us? You know, where's my uh land flowing with milk and honey? Where, you know, I should be laying here and people should be putting grapes into my mouth." And Moses like, I didn't do this because of me. I did it because of God. So, uh, Moses goes to God and says, "What's this all about?" God tells Moses, "Tell him to come see me." So, Moses tells him to come. And they said, "No." Do you see the selfishness behind these two guys? It's all about me. I want to make my life better. That is the spirit of Antichrist. And that's what a lot of people have. I want to make the elections right. We need these people in power, not these. You see what's going on here? I'm trying to teach you something here. So, you know, God dealt with these two men. I believe that's going to be the prophet and the beast. Who knows? You know, the scriptures don't identify who the two witnesses are, who the prophet is and the beast. But I would not be surprised because God completes his word. That is God. But the moment that you give it to the Lord and even if you don't even know, you know, for years I remember telling the Lord, I don't want to miss your rapture. Whatever it is I got to do, teach me. And here I am today dwelling in the secret. But he did teach me. It took some time, but I learned. So I want you to understand the power of the spoken word. Now, Moses spoke over those two guys and he spoke the word of God. He told the the camp to back off. Now, you can go read this in Numbers. I already taught on it, so I'm not bringing all of that element in, but because he spoke the word of God. You just had your confession. You had your situation. You see what's going on. Lord, I'm concerned about the elections. And God puts it back in your mind. What's more important? Eternity with me and my return for the moment for righteous goodness to overcome evil. Don't you know that evil needs to be in place? The whole world has to reject the nation of Israel for this. That means America has to do it too. So the spoken word has an active element here that moves things. Jesus explained it best. Let's go look at a couple scriptures here. Matthew 16 18- 19. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Remember I talked about the kingdom of God and entering the kingdom of God. And that is when you get baptized and you enter the kingdom of God, your spoken word changes things. It changes it for whatever you say. You know, it's like that saying, you think you're coming down with a cold and you say, "No, I think I'm coming down with a cold and by because you said it a few days later or within hours you're well because you spoke it." You know, I I was pretty confident I was coming down with CO a second time. And I remember that day I had a fever and I was like, "Lord, no, no, no, no, no, no. I don't have time for this." I said, "Nope. I'm not sick." And I refused to be sick. Now, I did have a fever that day. Don't get me wrong. The physical was still there, but by the next day, everything was gone and I was back to normal. The spoken word makes a huge difference. It does. It's so powerful that that Jesus said it twice. We just saw it in Matthew 16. Look at this. Now we're in Matthew 18 15 and 20. And watch how he applies this here because now this applies. Remember, we have a clear dividing line in our nation. It is 50/50. You've got a group of people that want abortion that want to sin and have God bless them for it. You got that group of people. They reject God. Then you have the other group of people that are no, no, no, you can't do that. I mean, and you know what? They're under strong delusion. One of the things that's going on right now, I don't know if you guys saw this, but the interfaith group, I don't remember the full title of their name. And either next week or the week after, they're going to they're they're calling all religious leaders to join them on Mount Si so that they can write a new ten commandments. Yes, you heard me correctly. To write a new ten commandments to save the earth. Now, I'm going to tell you right now because there this is all about, you know, climate change and the earth and all that kind of stuff and people fall for this. Remember Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but not my word." So, we already know the earth is going to die. Go read the end of Revelation and see how it ends. We have the victory. God has the victory. I'm on God's side. In case you haven't figured that out yet, you should. So, these people are falling for that. So, they think this is a good thing. You know, I want to tell you right now, set a new ten commandments against God's word. No, no, no, no. You don't do that. But God is saying, Jesus said it twice about the power of the spoken word. And I want you to see the ministry that you have here in the kingdom of God. Look at this. This is now watch how he applies this too. It's very, very powerful. So that we can apply it to this group of people that are following you for all this stuff. Watch this. Moreover, if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you've gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. Assuredly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever loose you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by my father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst in them. You see the power of the spoken word and what it does. You have to wonder, you know, where we are today. You know, I understand the Lord has been moving. So, he's caused all this. But I wonder if there were enough determined people who were like Paul who wanted to change the world and he Paul's like, "You got to let me do this, Lord." And he had a thorn in the flesh and he asked God three times to remove it. And God says, "No, my grace is sufficient for you." Because Paul was buffeted. He tried to go places and the devil fought him hard, knocked him down. Paul got back up, got knocked down again. He got back up. He dealt with principalities. He was knocking him down. He had this walk with God. And God's like, "Hold on, my son. Slow you down because we got to we got a few more generations here that need to take place." You see, God's plan is to get to the end of his scripture to fulfill prophecy. And that's the side we need to be on. So, how do you apply the spoken word to keep your peace? Oh, watch this. Watch this. Ecclesiastes 11:1-2. Cast your bread upon the waters. What does bread represent besides life? It's your most important element. You need bread to survive. I know we got a lot of vegans and stuff out there, but you you're actually a little sickly on the inside when you choose not to have bread. It just needs to be moderation, folks. But anyways, that is the most important thing. Whatever is important to you at that moment, the US elections. Cast your important bread. Cast the US elections, look at that, upon the waters, for you will find it after many days. give a serving to seven and also to a for you do not know what evil will be on the earth. You see what's going on here? Because that's applying to evil here. And we know that we've got an evil uh leadership in place right now that we have to cast out. It doesn't even just go there. There's even further. We're going to go to Peter here in just a moment, but I want you to see that Lord, I give you the elections because that's important to me. But your word is more important. Your plan is more important. And I'm h asking you to get my mindset straight. So I cast it to you. You see how you do that? You speak that word and it changes everything on the inside. The dynamics change. Watch what Peter says here. This is 1 Peter 5:6-11. Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God. And that's exactly what you're doing the moment you speaking that word because you're mad. You think this should go right. You think righteousness should be here and you feel like you're letting evil in. But he says, "Humble yourself." Look at the scripture. These are powerful. Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God that he may exalt you in due time. Casting all your care upon him, for he cares for you. Be sober. Be vigilant. Because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking seeking whom he may desire to put that into perspective. How many people are going to be upset with this election and do something stupid? But because if you had already been spending time with the word of God, even though you're upset about it, you had cast it, you can at least say, "I know God's work is going on here. He's up to something. I know he is. He's coming back. So, I'm just going to get my mind back on my eternity with him." You see how applicable that is? And when you miss that, because you haven't missed many time, you can easily get caught up here in the anger. And once you get angry, the devil pushes your buttons and causes you to do something stupid where like January 6, these people did this minor invasion and now they spend years in jail whereas murderers are getting out less time than them. You see the the hypocrisy here? It it should be frustrating but at the same time you just give it to the Lord and you say this I cast to you Lord. Amen. Let's go back to the scripture here. Because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Verse nine, resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. Oh, how awesome is that word? To him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. God comes first, my friend. You need to humble yourselves. And I will tell you this, like Moses dealt with Dayam and Aberon because he went to God and God dealt with them by opening the earth and swallowing them whole. When you put God first and you cast that care to him, you speak the word, look what happens. Romans 16:20, "And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly." When Satan's been nitpicking you and he's been doing all this stuff and you tell him to get below your feet, he runs, but all you know, he he affects the whole atmosphere and people come, people do God do Satan's job for him on a regular basis. Really unfortunate, but that's exactly what happens. And is his friends and family, okay? So, it just happens. That's that's the way he works because we all have our emotions. We all are having to humble ourselves and that is very challenging. But the moment you do and the moment you cast it out, he runs. It effectively stops Satan from being fruitful in your mind and in your heart. That is the God of peace ruling in you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. That is a great word. Apply it, use it, speak it, and live it. Hallelujah. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this message. Oh Lord, let us receive, walk and live by your word and to have the the gumption to speak your word and to speak our cares to you so that we can humble ourselves before you and give you this so that we could see our eternity with you and be excited about your return. Father God, oh we love you, we praise you, glorify you and honor you and in the name of Jesus. Amen. God bless you. I will see you in the next message. Bye-bye. Previous Next Home

The teaching aims to equip listeners with knowledge of how to approach God in faith, dwell in His presence, and rightly plead their case through the authority of Jesus Christ, our advocate. It emphasizes the necessity of repentance, living righteously, and walking in faith to experience God’s promises of salvation, healing, deliverance, and blessing. Synopsis: In “God’s Courtroom” (February 8, 2024), Lisa Kane presents a powerful teaching on how God’s justice operates in the spiritual realm. Opening with Deuteronomy 32:4, she highlights that God is perfect, just, and without iniquity, meaning His judgments are always fair and true. Using courtroom imagery, Lisa illustrates the roles of the judge (God), the accuser (Satan), the accused (us), and the defense attorney (Jesus Christ). Through this analogy, she shows how salvation works—when we confess Christ, His blood covers our sins, and God declares us free. The message then explores how believers can return to God’s courtroom not only for forgiveness but also to claim their covenant promises. By faith, prayer, repentance, and dwelling in the “secret place” with God, Christians can present their petitions and receive divine verdicts in their favor for healing, deliverance, and provision. Lisa stresses the importance of forgiveness, righteousness, and walking in God’s Spirit as the conditions for these blessings. Through examples from Psalms, Galatians, and Psalm 91, she demonstrates how faith-filled persuasion before God brings breakthrough, just as biblical figures pleaded their cases with Him. She closes by encouraging believers to boldly approach God’s courtroom, not as the accused, but as redeemed children who can confidently claim the promises of Abraham and the inheritance secured by Christ. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane. I'm recording this on Thursday, February 8th, 2024. Welcome. This message is called God's Courtroom. I'm really excited about this message. You're going to be blessed. If you're as blessed as I am, you're going to be blessed. Amen. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we thank you for showing us and revealing your word and your knowledge into our hearts and minds. And I pray that we apply your word to our lives and live your word for you are great. And it is not by might nor by power, but it is by your spirit, Father God. And we thank you for your spirit moving forward in us and and to those around us as we pray for them, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Amen. And amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture here. This is called God's courtroom. Deuteronomy 32:4. He is the rock. His work is perfect, for all his ways are judgment, a God of truth and without iniquity. Just and right is he. Well, well, we are here to God's courtroom. I've had this message brewing in my mind for like three weeks right now and I'm really excited. As I was preparing this the other day, I was like, "Wow, Lord, this is awesome." As you can see though, God operates in a way of judgment. This is who God is. Now let's identify because we see here in this opening scripture he's clearly telling us that his work is perfect and it's which means it's complete. All his ways are judgment and that word judgment is a verdict. So everything he does is through verdicts. So now if you can get God to promote verdicts on your behalf, now that is something you might be interested in. Okay? And that's what I'm going to show you how it works here. But at the same time, he's a god. He's that word a god uh a strength and mighty of truth or firm. He's without iniquity. He has no evil perverseness. He is just and right. Meaning that he has no bias in his judgment. So, you know, it works both ways. You can be saved and be grateful that you got saved, but then he will stand on his word. If you don't get saved, you will not be saved because that's how God works. Now, God is spirit. God operates in the spirit. So, we're going to have to learn how God's courtroom works because it is done in the spirit. So, let's go to here to uh Romans 1:17. For therein is the righteousness or equity, justification of God revealed. He's taken the cover off. And look at it's from faith, which is your persuasion or credence to faith. as it is written, the just shall live by faith. Now, the just. So, obviously, what I'm going to be talking to or who I'm going to be talking to are people who are spending quality time with the Lord and can actually go to God and say, "Listen, Lord, I've been doing this, this, this, and you can be able to persuade God in your faith of the things that you're doing spiritually, meaning you're you're spending quality uh Psalm 91, in the secret place, dwelling in the secret place. As long as you're dwelling in that secret place and you're abiding by the word of God, you're praying, you're living godly and righteousness, you're not living in sexual immorality, you are free from that, then this is your right to your blessings. And I'm going to show you that pathway to there. And if you're listening to this message and you're not living right, let me encourage you to get right with God first. Start with repentance. Second, purpose in your mind that you are going to live in a clean, righteous, godly manner of everything that you do in your sleep, in the secret place, in the public, that you choose God first. You know, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and then all these things will be added unto you. This is how God works. He operates in faith and in the spirit. So, we're going to see how that works. But I encourage you to be doing these things because when you do this, it gives you the credence. It gives you the persuasion ability to ask God for something which he said he will give you anything that you ask for. But sometimes, you know, Jesus is impressed with just a little bit of faith. And I just taught on this recently about the centurion uh saying, "You know what? You just give the word. You don't have to come to my house. I know it'll be done." And and Jesus was just flabbergasted. He was like, "Wow, this is this is the first time he has seen faith operated." So, we're going to see how faith operates in all of this. Amen. So, we're going to start here in Galatians 3:2. This only would I learn of you? Receive ye the spirit by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith. Now, it's a question he's asking here. Which are you going to learn? Are you going to work walk in the law or you going to walk in the spirit? So, this is God's courtroom. And remember, we're in a time frame of what's called grace right now in and or the Gentiles. Right now, we are in a spirit of grace or a dispensation of grace, a time of grace where everything is done by forgiveness. Everything is done by forgiveness. You forgive, God forgives. Um, and what you forgive, God will forgive. So, you can be saving others around you if you're forgiving them and letting them go. And by the way, it's not for their benefit, it's for your benefit. When you forgive and let go, it brings good health to your bones. But this is how God operates. So, I'm going to show you uh a little bit of how the op uh the courtroom works. Let's read this scripture before I go any further. Galatians 3:11-14. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God. It is evident, for the just shall live by faith. There it is again, that same sentence we just read. The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith, but the man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. For it is written, cursed is every man that hangeth on a tree, that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, that we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith. Now, remember when I teach here and you see the scriptures, the bold word is what's in the King James version. the parentheses or the words in the parenthesis is other interpretations of that bolded word. So, there's just extra things I'm throwing in there for you to look at and get a bit uh a more in-depth picture of the scripture, if you will. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to walk you through an analogy right now of salvation in the courtroom. Now, we're going to take it further because this message is going to when you see how this operates and it makes sense because it's going to make sense. You is should change your entire life going forward from this point on. I promise you that. And for the good, for the better. Amen. So, let's say and let's identify a courtroom real quick. What is a courtroom? You've got a judge, you've got a jury, you've got a prosecutor, you got a defense attorney, you've got the accused, you have the accuser, and uh you have the law. The law is what we have. So, in other words, if I get summoned by jury duty and um I'm on, let's say, a a murder case and uh the judge is going to tell me, "You need to decide whether it's premeditated, first degree, second degree, or homicide." He's going to give you the definitions by the law that has been approved and you have to determine as part of that jury whether it is uh applicable under that definition. Just because you think it means something else, you can't go by that. You have to go by the meaning of the law in the courtroom. Okay? And that's very critical. That's very important. I want you to understand that. So let's take the analogy of salvation. Okay. So now the accuser, by the way, that is Satan, the devil. He's going to come into the courtroom and he's going to go up there and he says, "So and so did this." Let's say Lisa, Lisa did this, and she did this, this, this, and this. And so it's noted in the books. Because the law, the courtroom keeps all documentation for everything. That's very critical. We need to know that. So, you've got your your accuser who just accused you of all these things. So, now a summons is sent out for Lisa. Hey, you got to come to court because you got some things to um deal with. And uh now let's pause for a moment here. Some people who hear salvation, they say, "No, no, no." And they stay away from it. Think about this for a minute. There are some people who refuse to go to church, who refuse to get saved. That's hogwash. I don't want to have anything to do with that. They never take their summons and they never come in to deal with their sin. These are people who are who will end up being lost if they don't accept Christ. This is where your prayer comes in for those people so that they can be saved because it's by spirit. It's not by might. It's not by power. It's by his spirit. And when you're praying in the spirit for this individual, it there's a good better chance that they're going to get saved. Amen. But now, let's say Lisa decides to go to the courtroom and she meets legal aid out in the foyer, which by the way would be the Holy Spirit. I'd walk in and there's the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit says, "Oh, good. You're here. You got your summons. Great. I'm glad you're here. Um, I know someone who will get you a pardon and you will be clear of all your charges." Now, some people would say, "Hey, that's too good to be true." And walk off. They won't believe it. That's just how salvation works in some people. But Lisa here decides really okay how does this work? So he said let me introduce you to Jesus. So I meet Jesus and Jesus says okay these are the accusations against you and he's going to ask you did you really do these things and yeah I did that. No worries. I've got your party right here. You are going to be cleared of all the charges. really. So Jesus says, "Come on, let's go to the courtroom." So we go up to the judge now. So the accuser reads off the accusations. God looks down at his books. He says, "Yeah." Jesus says, "Uh, he he asks you though, there is something you have to do before you walk into the courtroom." Jesus says, "Okay, I've got a pardon right here for you, but you've got to say you have to speak your confession out loud. So if you can just tell me because see Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe with your heart that God has raised him from the dead you will be saved. So Jesus says now if you want to be pardoned of these sins you have to do it my way you need to say that I am the son of God. I am Lord and that you believe me. Okay I I call you Jesus. I ask you to save me. I ask you to to help me with this. And Jesus says, "I got you. Okay, we're good." Now they go up to the courtroom. So when they get to the courtroom, the the charges are laid out and God sees them on the books and your attorney, Jesus, says, "Ah, I've he redeemed her. She is set. Here's her pardon, and there's no more sins against her." And so now God looks down at the books and the blood of Jesus covers those accusations. And God says, "Oh yeah, there's no more accusations here. You're free to go and the paperwork is all filled out, signed, you get to walk out of that courtroom free. You're no longer guilty as charged. You are free. That's how salvation works. This is how this all works. Now, I want to take you a little further on that and I want to show you what you can do back in the courtroom if you come back to the courtroom of God. This is good. Let's look at Galatians 3:26 and 29 through 29. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek. There is neither bond nor free. There is neither male nor female. For ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ, then are ye Abraham's seed and hes according to the promise. Now what we know when you read the Bible is that Abraham was given a promise. I'm going to read that promise here in just a minute and then I'm going to show you some other promises. But through faith, because we believe Jesus and he is our attorney and we went and got our free pardon and it cleared us of everything. Now we get to have these promises, all of these blessings that are part to us. Now remember, there are requirements for this. Uh if you go to read Psalm 91, which I'm going to show you in a bit, he says, "If you dwell in the secret place," what is a secret place? you spending time with God. Whether that's in your car, your closet, your bedroom, wherever, it is you spending time with God. That's the secret place. That is a requirement. And then Jesus, of course, gives us the commandment. Love one another as you would yourself. These are things he tells us to do. But here's the thing is when you're doing that, you have the right to the blessings and the promises around you. You have the right to financial freedom. You have the right to healing. You have the right to deliverance. Those are your rights. I did a teaching on the Bill of Rights, Christians Bill of Rights, many years ago. It's in the website. Go check it out. I'm telling you though, as you get in there and you look and see what your rights are, now you get to go to the courtroom. So, let let's identify that. So, let's say you were given a diagnosis of cancer. So, you come back to the uh the courtroom and you meet the Holy Spirit and you say, "Listen, I've been told this bad news and um I don't want to accept it." Holy Spirit says, "Okay, hold on, Jesus." And he sends you off to Jesus. Okay, so now you're with your attorney. The attorney says, "Okay, yeah, I see that they that you've got cancer here. Okay. Um and Jesus says to you, "Well, if you're willing to do this my way, you can be free of this completely. and and you're like, "All right, what is your way?" He says, "You know where cancer comes from?" He says, "It comes from anger, hatred, unforgiveness, bitterness. You you're filled with these things and you've hardened your heart." And he says, "If you forgive and let it go, the cancer will be gone." That that's the truth of the living word of God in a nutshell. And so if you want to be free of cancer, you got to do it his way and you got to forgive and let go. So he says, "Okay, I need to hear you say that." You see, a lot of people run to the courtroom or run to the altars and pray and pray and pray, but they all they're sending mixed messages. They're there with hatred in their heart, but heal me. I want to still hate, but heal me. And that's not how it works. God is saying, "I need you to forgive." So, let's say you decide to go ahead and do that. All right, Lord. I'm forgiving. I I don't want to, but I'm going to go ahead and let it go because I'm going to trust in you because I don't want to live with this cancer. Okay, so Jesus hears you say it. Okay, let's go to the courtroom. So, now you go up to the courtroom and here's the thing. There's there's things that go on behind the scenes here. You see, Jesus now points a finger at the accuser right there in front of God and says he's been lying to her, telling her that she can hate because she has the right to hate when in reality she needs to forgive so she wouldn't have cancer. Well, she just forgave and I forgive as well. And so now I'm declaring that she has no more cancer. So God looks down at the books. He sees all the actions and he sees the justification by Jesus. Hey, and and by the way, the justification by me, I can go up to him and with Jesus standing there and represent myself if I wanted to and I can say, "Hey, he's been lying to me. I believed him. I believed the doctors that my A1C had to be below this number when in reality it's a bunch of hogwash." Who who decides what number should be right in cholesterol or diabetes? Who gives them the right to say that when our creator is our healer? You see, I'm a Rolls-Royce or a Bentley. I'm not going to take me to a l um a Jify Loop. No offense, Jify Loop, but you don't repair bodies like mine. Mind has to have a heavenly repairer or Jaffa or Rafa, Jehovah Rafa, my healer. That is Jesus. He's my healer. He went to the cross. I'm taking holy communion. I should not have this diagnos uh diagnosis from the doctors. I should not have cancer bec and now I've let go and I'm forgiven. So God hears the credence. He hears the persuasion. He hears the faith and he says, "Granted, you're healed." And he fills out the document and he signs it. And you're thinking, "Really? really. And Jesus is telling you, walk in your faith. You've got it. So, you walk out of the courtroom with your document and you you have no more cancer. You know, I'm just going to share this. Uh, last night I was chilling. I was so cold. I thought for sure I was getting sick. And I said, "No, I refuse to be sick. I refuse it. I'm not going to get sick." Got up this morning. My throat was really starting to hurt. I took some lemon honey. Of course, I've been praying. I've been pray. I was praying so much yesterday. of praying today and I said I refused to get sick. Got up, did my prayers, took my shower, got dressed, had my most of my day, went out shopping, what have you, and look it, I'm perfectly fine because I know that I have already been standing in the righteousness of God, already dwelling in the secret place, already praying. So my faith when I say I'm not going to get sick, that's going to God saying I can't get sick because I'm in your light and your light shines through me and darkness and sickness can't reside in light. That's biblical principles. And you see that is justification to my healing. And he signs the document and I walk out. Now remember there's a delay. We're dealing with spiritual principles here. Remember when Daniel prayed and he was asking for an interpretation of the vision that he had? It took 21 days for the angel to come and talk to him. So you see God already sends you your healing. It may take two weeks, one day, one hour, it could take four weeks, but you don't give up. You keep standing on that because you got your documentation. That's very key. That's very important that you know that and that you walk with that. Now, let's go look at the the promise given to Abraham because I want you to see how this works because this is where the the rubber meets the road, if you will. This is Genesis 12:es 1-3. Now the Lord has said unto Abram, "Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house unto a land that I will show thee, and I will make to of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing, and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that cursth thee, and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." Now, you're already seeing this happen. Anyone who's cursing Israel has a curse on them. Anyone who blesses Israel has a blessing on them. So principle or a principle doesn't have to be number one or number 20. There's no particular order here. You need to bless Israel. So as you bless Israel, guess what? You've got God's blessings on you. When you believe in God and you know that the nation of Israel is his chosen people and he grafted you in because he adopted you because you're saved. Now you're part of Israel. That is part you're part of it. You see, we may live in grace and we may be living under the holiness of the name of Jesus Christ, but Jesus comes from the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And that Israel has the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And that means we're part of Israel. Just because they rejected Jesus as their Messiah doesn't mean that we're not the same. We are the same. It is a complete full picture. The difference is we're accepting Jesus as our Messiah. But if you're praying for Jerusalem, you're praying for Israel, you're praying for the hedge of protection to be around them, you're asking the Lord to bless them, he will bless you as a result. So that's blessings number one, if you will, number 20. However you bless Israel, you will have the blessings on your life. That is a promise. And by the way, you don't have to believe be a believer in God to have blessings on you from God over Israel. You can be somebody high up and have favor over Israel. just because you like the people for whatever reason. Obviously, I'm thinking that might be the Holy Spirit talking there. But if you have that uh on you, you you have a sympathy for them, you will be blessed. It doesn't matter if you're a believer or not, that blessing's already there. So, I I want to build your faith. Now I want to show you how you can go to the Lord and persuade the Lord in the courtroom of God. Why you should be healed. Why you should have financial restitution. Why you should be financially established and blessed. Because if you are of God, you are never poor. You are never destitute. God always takes care of his own. Amen. And I want you to understand that. So, he's giving you the ability. Now, he might be teaching you a principle here of how to deal with it. But if you're going to the courtroom of God and you're getting that documentation, you're walking out with your blessing. And it may take a few weeks, but you will have it in the name of Jesus. Amen. Psalm 64-5. Return, O Lord. Deliver my soul, oh, save me for thy mercy's sake. For in death there is no remembrance of thee. In the grave, who shall give thee thanks? Here's an example of a psalmist who went to the courtroom of God and used his faith to tell God why he should be delivered. He's saying, "Look, Lord, there there's no remembrance of you of uh in the grave. You know, I I can't remember you there being part of the world of the dead." So, he's saying in faith, I need you to deliver me. What did he ask for? He says, "Turn back to me, oh Lord. Deliver me. Deliver my soul. save me for thy mercy's sake. So, he is pleading with God in his faith before the courtroom of God. Now, there's more to that. Let's jump down to verse eight and let's see what happens. Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. For the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping. You see, he has his documentation in place. The Lord has favored him, has heard him, and he acknowledges this. So, he has used his faith. Now, he is saying, "I you you need to leave me, workers of iniquity. I've got my paperwork here. I'm delivered. I'm saved. My soul is saved." Look what he says in verse 9. The Lord hath heard my supplication. The Lord will receive my prayer. Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed. Let them return and be ashamed. Suddenly, you see now he's saying, "You got to get out of here, enemy." And you get yourself embarrassed. be ashamed for accusing me of these things because my soul is delivered. You see, he had faith. He persuaded God. He got his documentation and he went after the enemy. This is something you get to do, too. You can get your documentation. Say, I my cousins should be saved because of everything I'm doing. And I've been praying for them, Lord. And he hears you. He hears your faith. He writes you out your document. Here's your your document. They will be saved. You already know it. You keep, in fact, at that point, you start casting out the demons. You let go of my cousins. They're saved already. Get lost. You have the right to do that because you went and persuaded God and got your documentation ready. This is how God's courtroom works. And you get to operate in that because you're one operating in faith by already praying, by already dwelling in the secret place, by already giving God the glory. Amen. Amen. Let's see another example of this. Psalm 31:9 and 10. Have mercy upon me, oh Lord, for I'm in trouble. Mine eye is consumed with grief. Yeah. My soul and my belly. For my life is spent with grief and my years with sighing. My strength faileth because of mine iniquity. And my bones are consumed. Look at that. To shrink or fail. You're falling. He's feeling in his body. That's cancer, by the way, if you haven't noticed that. Again, you get to go to God and say, "This is what I'm feeling. This is what's going on in my body." Now, look, we're still in 31. Look at verse 14 and 15. But I trusted in thee, oh Lord. I said, "Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand. Deliver me from the hand of mine enemies and from them that persecute me." You see, now he's saying, "You wrote me your document. I'm going to trust in you. I'm going glorify you." Look at this. He even worshiped him. He says, "My times are in your hand. You're the one delivering me. You're snatching me away from mine enemies, from them that persecute me." Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. You guys got to get this. You got to get this because he's telling now everyone, I got my documentation in order. My body is healed. This is the faith. And God operates by faith. Remember, it is not by might, nor is it by power, but it is by his spirit, says the Lord. So, if you're going to do this, you need to operate in his spirit. You need to go to the courtroom of God. You need to have your attorney there, and you need to be able to give some good reason why in faith why your cousin should be saved, why your body should be healed, why why you have the answers, and you know it. You just got to go give it to God. Amen. Look at this one. I love this one. This one is my all-time favorite because it gives a good point here. Watch this. Isaiah 54:17. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment, making a verdict, thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness as of me, sayeth the Lord. You see, he's telling you right there, you have the accuser going to the courtroom. Look at this. He says um every tongue that rise against thee in judgment a verdict that shall condemn. You see that is the devil because see he brought the accusation to God. And by the way those accusations are true. You messed up. I messed up. But do you see what he says here? This is this is the heritage of the servants and their righteousness is of me. See now you're going to go with God because God is just. He's going to rule in your favor if you are doing these things. Now you go in and you say, "I'm doing these things." So he's saying, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper." It stops here and now. Cancer cannot move forward. And by the way, in case you need a little more faith building activity here in your mind, you can still have that cancer and still be painfree because the doctors will see, well, you have cancer. And you say, "So you see, God can make you live 150 years old if he wanted to with cancer and painfree because you're going to the doctors. The doctors are looking at the lie." But you've gone through the spirit to the kingdom to the courtroom as part of the kingdom of God. You go to that courtroom and you say, "Now I've got my documentation. I'm healed." They can keep saying what they want to say. They can keep telling you you have diabetes. They can keep telling you you have cholesterol. But I promise you, none of it will eat you alive. None of it will be prosperous. It stops. Now, that is having faith and using no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Now, as I spoke to and alluded to earlier, Psalm 91, look at this example. This this is what I'm talking about. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. We get to be under God's shadow if we choose to be. And there are benefits to it. Look at what it says. I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress, my God. In him will I trust as the psalmist trusted. When the psalmist mo the moment he said, I trust in you, Lord, that was his documentation the faith and God wrote it down. You're healed. You're delivered. He He did this. So here you will trust in the Lord. That's your faith. That is your documentation right there. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noise and pestilence. In other words, a thousand will die to your left. 10,000 will die to your right. You're going to see that further here. Well, I may not have put that scripture in here, but that's part of Psalm 91. Read the whole Psalm 91. It's awesome. A thousand will die to your left, 10,000 will die to your right, but it won't touch you. In fact, look what else he says here in Psalm 91. Watch the blessings here going down to verse 10. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. There's that co. Hey, even if you get it, you'll survive it. And many people had died from it. But won't touch us because we go to God and we get in faith. Say, Lord, I shouldn't have I shouldn't be sick. This is done and done with. And he will do that. Look at this what he says in verse 11. For he shall give his angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways. Uh they shall bear thee up in their hands lest thou dash thy foot against the side. He won't even let you stub your toe. That's incredible. That's because you have gone to the courtroom of God. You dealt with your sins and you got your salvation. You've chosen to live for God. You sought his kingdom and his righteousness. and then everything else comes to you. This is it's simple. Matthew 6:33, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. So when you start to operate in the kingdom of God, what are you doing? You are praying praying for your cousins. You're praying for your co-workers. You're praying for all your family. You're praying for everything and anything because you're seeking the kingdom of God. And then you're doing it in righteousness because you're not living in sexual immorality. You're not sending me mixed messages to heaven. You're saying, "I am walking in godliness and righteousness." And guess what? He's healing you. Amen. Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him. I will set him on high because he hath known my name. See, you're recognizing the name of Jesus. And that is where key comes in here. You're going with the attorney Jesus up to your throne room. He shall call upon me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor. And by the way, that word honor is to be heavy, to make weighty, to make rich him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation. You see, you will be fully saturated. That's just how God works because he wants to bless you. He truly wants to bless you. Second Peter 3:9, the Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness, but his longsuffering toward us word, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. So every time you seek the kingdom of God, every time you're praying for your loved ones, every time you're doing that and you're walking in godliness, that is your faith that you get to go to God's courtroom and say, "Because I'm doing this, Father God, I don't need to be sick. I do not need to be destitute. I will walk in every need being met. I will be satisfied. I will know my salvation. I will have a peace of mind. I will have a joy in my heart." These are the blessings that were given to you because God loves you. Oh, hallelujah. He wants to give that to you. Question is, do you want to do those things? And do you want to go to co God's courtroom, not as the accused, but now go back after the accusations have been removed and come in and say, "He lied to me, Lord. He's telling me I'm sick, but I'm I don't believe it. I'm going to believe you because you're my healer. You see, then you get your documentation and he doesn't slack. You're going to have your healing within days, hours, weeks. You will be healed. I promise you that because that is God's word. Amen. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word and we glorify you and honor you, Father God, for you truly are great and mighty and thank you. teach us how to come to your courtroom, how to go through the name of Jesus, how to persuade you in faith with credence, Father God, that we can say to you why we should be healed, why we should not be destitute, why we should be walking in deliverance, why we should be free in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus name. Amen. God bless you and I will see you in the next message. Bye-bye. Previous Next Home

  • PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

Say this prayer out loud: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world; the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.” Father God, I bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, with open ears, eyes, hearts, and minds to see, hear, receive, and believe the living Word of God because you state in Mark 4:12 KJV “12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” I pray in hope that they see and perceive, hear and understand so they would believe in Jesus the Son of the living God! And Heavenly Father, I bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in the hearts of the people in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists to forgive and reconcile the nation back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray that the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I also pray that past generations deceived by lies would be restored to the truth going forward. I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” manifests within the hearts of the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world. I pray that those who work in mainstream media, media outlets, and/or as a journalist that they will share truth and fact from the Bible. Declaring the Bible as truth and they are led by the Holy Spirit. I pray that the gifts of the Holy Hpirit stated in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12 KJV “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” would unite the body of Christ under one leadership, the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God moves through each of us so that we know what to pray, how to pray, when to pray, and praise the living God in all that we do. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen!PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM PRAY FOR MEDIA & JOURNALISM Say this prayer out loud: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world; the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen! • INDIGNATION AND WRATH | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

INDIGNATION AND WRATH To help believers understand the seriousness of rejecting God’s grace, the consequences of self-seeking and disobedience to the truth, and the distinction between justification and sanctification in relation to God’s indignation and wrath. The goal is to encourage repentance, self-denial, and perseverance in God’s grace so that we may escape His wrath and receive eternal rewards. INDIGNATION AND WRATH Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: To help believers understand the seriousness of rejecting God’s grace, the consequences of self-seeking and disobedience to the truth, and the distinction between justification and sanctification in relation to God’s indignation and wrath. The goal is to encourage repentance, self-denial, and perseverance in God’s grace so that we may escape His wrath and receive eternal rewards. Synopsis: This teaching explores Paul’s warning in Romans 2:8 about God’s indignation and wrath toward those who are self-seeking and reject His truth. God’s wrath is not arbitrary, but the natural result of sowing rebellion and despising His grace. While justification instantly grants forgiveness through faith in Christ, sanctification is an ongoing process of cleansing and self-denial. Believers who persist in selfish ambition risk falling under God’s indignation and forfeiting eternal rewards, even though salvation itself is secure. Paul emphasizes that God’s grace teaches us to deny ungodliness and live righteously, preparing us for Christ’s return. Those who fail to prepare, like the unfaithful servant in Luke 12, may face discipline and endure God’s wrath alongside unbelievers before restoration. Revelation 3 contrasts the faithful Philadelphia church, spared from the hour of trial, with the lukewarm Laodiceans, who are warned to repent through refining fire. Ultimately, salvation is a free gift, but eternal rewards are tied to faithfulness. Self-seeking leads to loss, while self-denial leads to eternal gain. Believers are urged to repent, embrace sanctification, and walk in God’s grace so that when Christ returns, they will be found faithful, spared from wrath, and rewarded in eternity. Inspired Teaching: Romans 2:8 “But to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath.” God’s indignation is kindled by those who despise God’s grace. Imagine knowing that a great disaster is about to be unleashed and that the people that are on its path are not aware of it; so you make every effort to warn those who are in the place that will soon be destroyed that they need to escape—only to be rejected and scorned by those very people you are trying to save. Rejection is what makes God indignant and causes those who reject God’s free offer of grace to fall under the wheels of God’s wrath. God’s wrath comes as the result of reaping that which we have sown. Romans 2:6 “Who will render to each one according to his deeds.” The reality is that there are people who are stubborn and who will not listen to reason, now why is that? There are probably many reasons why people behave the way they do, but in our opening text God gives us the key that exposes the root cause for rebellion—those who are self-seeking. We may not be fully aware of this truth, but if we take a close and careful look in the mirror, it will not be long before we come face to face with our mortal enemy and find that—surprise— it is us! If we want to fully understand God’s grace, His wrath, His indignation, we have to view them from the perspective of our own mortality. Let’s face it—self-seeking is hardwired into every one of us; just look at an infant, when they do not get what they want or need, they let you know it right away, and in no uncertain terms. The grace of God teaches us, first of all, about the dangers of selfish ambitions. We cannot accept God’s grace unless we first acknowledge the fact that we are in need of it. Titus 2:11-12 “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.” Once we realize that we are our own worst enemy, and that God’s wrath will fall upon those whose deeds do not live up to God’s standards, then, the only logical conclusion that we are left with is that we are in need of His grace, so that we repent and accept His offer of forgiveness. But if after we have received His forgiveness, we despise His grace by continuously seeking our own selfish ways—after we’ve been delivered from the consequences of them—do we kindle then, His indignation, and fall back into the wrath that He worked so hard to deliver us from? Romans 2:4-5 “Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.” It is clear that Paul is addressing believers in his letters that he wrote to the churches. It is also clear that only those who are under God’s grace, are in a position to despise such grace. For how can we despise something that we have not personally experienced? Wrath in the day of wrath. God’s salvation has two basic components: Forgiveness and cleansing. 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” The theological terms are Justification and Sanctification. Justification happens instantly, as soon as we confess our sins before God in Jesus name, we are immediately forgiven. Sanctification is a process which begins the day that we are justified. This process is God’s mechanism to deliver us—cleanse us—from the consequences of all the sins that we have committed. The agent that God uses to bring about His forgiveness and cleansing in us, is His grace: For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age. In Justification we pass from death into life in an instant. The same grace that saves us, now preserves us, while the process of Sanctification takes place. In order to receive salvation, we have to ask God for it with a repentant heart. In the process of sanctification, we have to learn how to deny ourselves and live for God, by the power of His grace that sustains us. For we know that those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness fall under the indignation of God’s wrath. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Remember that salvation has two components, forgiveness gets us into heaven, and cleansing delivers us from the wrath of God’s indignation. 1 Corinthians 3:11, 13, 15 “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ (our salvation)...Each one’s work (selfish ambition or self-denial) will become clear; for the Day (of God’s wrath) will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is...If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss (cleansing from the consequences of their sins while on this earth); but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” Salvation is a gift which cannot be earned; those who truly repent and accept God’s grace and forgiveness of sins, are immediately justified and on their way to heaven. But while here on earth after we get saved, the grace of God teaches us to deny ourselves and to flee from all the worldly lusts and self-seeking that got us into the mess we were in before we got saved. Refusing to deny ourselves incurs God’s indignation and wrath in the day of His wrath, so that we miss out in the cleansing part. Matthew 10:39 “He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake (denies himself to receive the cleaning) will find it.” If we still go to heaven, what is it then that we lose? Every believer that dies goes before the Judgment Seat of Christ, which is a judgment of rewards or the forfeiting of them as we read in: 1 Corinthians 3:14-15 “If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” To the Corinthians Paul is talking about the works that those who were saved and died, built on the foundation of their salvation, and about what happens on the coming Day of judgment that will reveal whether those works were the result of self-seeking or self-denial. But what Paul is talking about in his letter to the Romans is what happens in the Day of His Wrath to those who are alive when He returns to the earth, and finds them doing their own works instead of being sanctified to do the Lord’s work. Luke 12:46-47 “The master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.” Notice first, how Jesus considers the servant to be a believer who was unprepared and not looking for His return. After cutting him in two, He assigns that servant a portion with the unbelievers, which is to be beaten with many stripes. What did Jesus mean by cutting him in two? I believe Jesus was referring to the separation between the justification and the sanctification of that wicked servant. He was still considered a saved servant who belonged to Him. But since he did not prepare or sanctify himself for His master’s return, he must suffer punishment before he is restored, which is the indignation of God’s wrath. His portion with the unbelievers means that he has to go through the wrath that those who rejected God’s free grace must go through, but God will save him after his many stripes are completed. If we read Revelation chapter three where the fate of the last two churches is decreed by Jesus Himself before His return, we find that the Philadelphia church is spared from the hour of trial—wrath—that is coming upon the whole world to test those who live in the world, because they kept His Word and did not deny His name. Revelation 3:8, 10 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door (the rapture), and no one can shut it; for you have little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name...Because you have kept My command to persevere (through sanctification), I also will keep you from the hour of trial (God’s indignation and wrath) which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” Then we read about the Laodicea church, and we see a different story. Revelation 3:18-19 “I counsel you to buy from Me gold (sanctification) refined in the fire...As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten (discipline). Therefore be zealous and repent.” The good news is, as of this writing, the rapture has not taken place yet. Jesus’ offer to be zealous and repentance is still available to all who believe. It is never too late to start denying ourselves for the sake of Jesus Christ and for the glory of His Gospel of peace. What ever it is that our self-seeking is gaining for us in this life is not worth losing the eternal rewards that follow faithfulness to the Word of God. There is no comparison between a few years and eternity. All that we possess will be left behind the day that we are taken away from this earthly realm. There are no u-hauls attached to the hearse. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. Let us make haste, for Jesus is coming very soon. Previous Next Home

  • THE FOUNDATION TO WALKING IN THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

THE FOUNDATION TO WALKING IN THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT The objective of this teaching is to establish a biblical foundation for walking in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It emphasizes the importance of humility, love, unity, and a strong relationship with the Lord as the groundwork necessary to operate effectively in spiritual gifts. By exploring Ephesians 4, the lesson calls believers to walk worthy of their calling and to use their God-given gifts for the edification and unity of the Body of Christ. THE FOUNDATION TO WALKING IN THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT Minister Lisa Kane June 1, 2025 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to establish a biblical foundation for walking in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa Kane of House of Faith Ministries shares insights on “The Foundation to Walking in the Gifts of the Spirit” from Ephesians 4. She begins by stressing that spiritual gifts must rest on a solid foundation of humility, meekness, patience, and love. Walking in these virtues allows believers to exercise their calling—whether teaching, evangelizing, shepherding, prophesying, or simply serving with kindness—in a way that glorifies Christ rather than themselves. Lisa underscores that the gifts are given not for personal recognition but for building up the church in unity under one Spirit, one Lord, and one faith. She reminds listeners that while doctrines may differ among teachers, love and prayer must guide how we relate to one another, avoiding division and deception. The teaching highlights that every calling is valuable, whether seen or unseen, and that true effectiveness comes from submitting to the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to transform hearts. Ultimately, the message encourages believers to pursue their calling with obedience, grounded in love, and anchored in Christ, so that the body of Christ may grow in maturity and unity until His return. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this teaching on Sunday, June 1st, 2025. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word that it does not return void, that it fills us, that we remember it, that we apply it to our lives, that we're hearing your word, and that we don't forget it. Thank you for teaching us your word. And I thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Welcome. I'm glad you can join us. This teaching is called the foundation to walking in the gifts of the spirit. We're going to be in Ephesians 4. So, let's start here with verse one. I therefore the prisoner of the Lord beseech or invite you that ye walk worthy or appropriately of the vocation wherewith ye are called. So, what I'm going to do here in this teaching is teach a foundational approach to walking in the spirit. uh the gifts of the spirit. This is because um we're to walk in the gifts of the spirit. But in order to walk in those gifts, we need to know what we're doing. And we need to make certain that we have our relationship established with the Lord, that we are spending time with the Lord. We're in a different season in time than let's say 20 years ago, even 10 years ago. Our season that we're in, we're fast approaching end times here. And I'm expecting this to happen in our lifetime. So this is a time where one, we have to put God first in our lives. He's our priority. And two, we need to understand what's going on. Now, I'm called to teach. I'm called to be a teacher. And I teach the word of God, which means I'm studying it, spending a lot of time with the Lord, asking him a lot of questions. Now, this particular teaching, last Tuesday night, we I was in a a Bible study that I attend on Zoom on Tuesday nights. It's a women's group Bible study. and uh uh it kind of became an impromptu teaching. So, now that I've had more time to look at it, I'm going to add a little bit more to it, but we're going to talk about that foundation to walking in the gifts of the spirit. And I'm praying that you pray about this. You spend some time with the Lord. Ask him where your calling is. You know, I'm also an intercessory prayer. I don't I'm not a pastor. I'm not called to pastor a church. I do not have that going. That's a special calling if you ask me. But I am called to teach and that I do whether anyone listens to me or not. I'm being obedient to the Lord and I'm teaching might be a unique different kind of way because I do it through video. But I also teach live either through online or at locations, churches and stuff like that and Bible studies and so forth. But my primary teaching is right here through the House of Faith Ministries and it is through the this web. If you have questions, you can email them. go to the contact us in houseof faith ministries.org and um I will get your message. All right. All right. So here's the first verse that I just read a little bit ago. I therefore the prisoner of the Lord beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. So he's telling us listen you need to walk worthy what's uh he appropriately for the calling that you are in. Now whether that calling is to be a pastor or a teacher and remember even though we're going to talk about certain specific gifts of the spirit here the intent is that whatever you believe your calling is and your calling could be different. You could be organizing group events. You could be uh walking daily because you need to do that for your health and you're smiling people telling people God bless you. Have a great day. that type of calling is also included in this and he's telling you to walk worthy of it. So in other words, if you wake up tired, which I woke up tired this morning. I um didn't sleep well last night. But at the same time, it's like, you know what, Lord, I'm still going to teach your message. I'm still putting in my full potential because that is what we're called to do. So Paul is telling us very clearly to walk appropriately in that calling. No, he's telling us how to do it with all loneliness. That which is another word for modesty or humbleness and meekness, which is gentleness, with longsuffering, fortitude, forbearing or putting up with one another in love. Let's stop there for a minute because see this is the foundation that we are realizing is how we're going to walk in the gifts of the spirit in the calling. So he's telling us one to walk appropriately and he's telling us what the appropriateness is. And in this case, it's appropriate to be modest, humble. I I don't do this for least of glory. I do it for the king of glory, Jesus. That's my calling. I serve him. Last week when I taught, I talked about who we serve, who we're servants to, whether it is through we're servants to sin or we're servants to righteousness. So here I'm taking my servantthood, my slavehood if you will, to the Jesus Christ and to the gifts that he's called me to walk in. In my case, I'm in intercessory prayer and I do teaching. Whatever your case may be, he's telling us to walk in that humbleness and modesty, which means we're not get we don't do it for the glory. We do it for his glory. So anytime somebody says, "Oh man, that was a really great revelation, Lisa." That was the Holy Spirit because Lisa ain't got anything to be special about except that she's a child of God. You're a child of God. Hallelujah. That's worthy. And see, that's when you take it to the Lord and give him the glory. Amen. So, and meekness, now meekness is gentleness. But I I did a teaching on meekness um uh not too long ago at that Bible study I was talking about earlier. Meekness, it is gentleness, but the way that works is it stops hatred. It stops anger. It stops wrath. That's what meekness does. That's what you're doing when you walk in that calmness. So somebody's raging at you and you just stop and say, "The Lord bless you or Jesus loves you." And you do that in that calming voice, you stop anger. You stop wrath in its tracks and it it cannot go any further. So here to walk in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, you're walking appropriately with modesty, humbleness, that gentleness, longsuffering. Oh, interesting. H where are you, Lord? What are you doing, Lord? You see, you're anticip I I walk in faith like I had hurt my knee several weeks ago and was in a chair in a wheelchair for a couple days there. uh a a chair for two weeks and a wheelchair for a few more days. After that though, I started getting up and I was declaring Jesus as Lord over my knee. Last night, one of the things I dealt with was the pain in my knee. Where are you, Lord? You see, this is when you have to be long-suffering. You You've got to just deal with it. And you say, "You know what, Lord? I'm going to cast this to you. I declared Jesus as Lord over this knee again." But that's how you walk in faith because you're putting God first. And whatever the situation is, this is one of the ways to walk in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. For me to be a teacher and for me to be in here, I have to walk like this. But you know what? It's not just that I have to. It's that I want to because I have a relationship with Jesus. I have a relationship with the Holy Spirit and I hear his voice and boy has he. You asked me 30 years ago. If I would be doing this today, I would have said no way. But yet God. Yeah. This is what he does. And then forbearing putting up with one another in love. Oh my goodness. This is a hard one. You see, we're in a a a time period where we think we have all the answers and so we see somebody who is dealing with the situation and we want to give them the answers. We want to force the answers on them and we want to shake them up and tell them this is how you do it. And then you want to you really get angry and you can get, you know, look at um the videos of people wearing the MAGA hats and those that don't like it. You're wrong. Take that off and see they're trying to force that on you. Well, one, we're not rapist. And yes, I use that word because that means force and forcing something on somebody else. No, we're to put up with love. Look at this. He's telling you, put up with one another in love. How do you do that? One, pray for them. Two, forgive them. Because Jesus is all about forgiveness. And if you're going to walk with Jesus, you need to walk in forgiveness. So that's how we start this foundational approach to walking in the gifts of the spirit. We are walking appropriately. We need to be doing that. And two, humbleness, uh modesty, meekness, longsuffering, forebearing, and uh in love. See, that's another thing is if you really love somebody, yes, you're going to correct them, but you're going to correct them through love. So, you're going to tell them the truth. Yeah. Uh you you can become a believer in Christ. That doesn't mean everything is going to be hunky dory or all roses. No, we're going to be still dealing with pain and suffering and death just like the rest of the world does. The difference is is I give God the glory because he's the creator and he's the one who set everything in order. He's the one who established all of this. You see, my relationship stands towards God. And so, every time I teach, I'm teaching you out of love. One, so that we can come unified in that love to walk in these gifts because they are to edify the church. We're going to get to more scripture on that. That's what all this is about. And look he goes on further to say endeavoring to keep the unity oneness of the spirit in the bond of peace prosperity to keep the unity. So each and every one of us should be teaching or presenting an example of the word of God as a testimony for the unity of the Holy Spirit. And see that's how we start to engage in walking in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. We are to the goal, the unity of the spirit. And which means you can't tell the difference between me and another teacher if we're in unity of the scriptures to the spirit. See, the moment you start listening to divisive teaching, this pastor or this teacher teaches yes, you can lose your salvation, but this pastor, this teacher says no, you can't. or this pastor or this teacher teaches that the rapture will happen after we go through hell on earth whereas another teacher or pastor will teach that no it's before then others teach it's the mid we're not in unity right now but here's the thing and I'm sure others who teach opposite of me are going to feel the same way I feel I'm right but see this is where it comes down to one did you ask God to give you the answer or did you just go and study it and try to interpret it on your own. You see, when I try to read the scripture, I try to read it where I'm looking at it and saying, "Okay, Holy Spirit, you're going to have to show me this one because I don't understand it." And he will do that. So, how do you uh move into that field where, oh, I don't want to trash this pastor or this teacher for what they're teaching. No, instead, what I do is I do two things. I pray. I pray for them. I pray for myself. So I start with prayer and second I go to the word and I ask the Holy Spirit what is it? Am I missing? Is it something wrong with me? You see there comes in the humbleness, the loneliness, the meekness because I'm trying to figure out are they right and am I wrong? And if I see and the Holy Spirit is teaching me to stand strong in what I'm reading and I've got it and he shows me through dreams because I have dreams. I have vivid dreams that tell me things as well. If I see all this coming together, I'm going to tell you right now, I'm believing what I'm teaching. And I believe you can't lose your salvation. Jesus says, and I I did a teaching on this. You can go check out that teaching. And I believe we're going to have a pre uh a rapture that happens before the tribulation. Why? because I've studied the word and I asked the Lord to explain it to me his way and I've taught on that. You can go check out those other teachings. But the point here is that I'm not here to trash anybody and what they believe and what that's what they believe at this time. Now, there's things I taught early on in this ministry that I've changed since because the Holy Spirit has spoken to me. That it means I'm maturing more in the Lord. And maybe that teacher, preacher will eventually get there as well and get more mature. And you'll see there's pastors that make radical changes because the Lord has worked on them. But that's because of prayer and prayer through love because I love them. Now granted, I believe that pastor or teacher who is teaching these things is still saved. They're not going to hell. And if now if they're misleading people and people walk away as a result, that consequence is going to be on you. And this is why I take teaching very seriously. I do not want to mislead anyone. So in all of my teachings, every single one of them, I always point to the scriptures. Always. And then I think it through as logically as I can. and back it up with multiple scriptures. That's what teaching is about. Again, it's not about what I believe or what I consider. I'm I'm trying to teach what the Holy Spirit is teaching me. But I'm trying to do it in love to the edification and the unification of the church under one spirit. That's the whole goal here. And I'm hoping other teachers, pastors, preachers, evangelists will catch on to this. Amen. Uh now in verse four, there's one body and one spirit even as you are called in one hope of your calling. You see, we anticipate the prophecies of the Bible to come true. We anticipate that the Lord is speaking the truth. Now that means there is one spirit. There is one son of God. There is one God and we all work under that one God. Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the father except through me." So we teach when you operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, each of you will be operating under that one spirit. That's it. There is no other way around. There's no Muhammad. There is no um anything else. There's no um Harry Krishna there. There's no other gods. There is only one God. And Jesus is that son. And that son of God, Jesus, is who we work in unity with through his word because he spoke the word. And then he gave us the comforter, the Holy Spirit, who he's the one that convicts us. He's we hear him inside and you know it. You know, and I've taught on that many times as well. Uh verse five, one Lord, one faith, one baptism. Verse six, one God and father of all who is above all and through all and in you all. But every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. This is all a gift by the way. Every salvation is a gift. You can't work for salvation. You cannot earn it. Jesus says I give this to you. And it's interesting because it's how he gives it to you as well. So see going back to the idea of whether one can lose their salvation or not. Think of it like this. When God gives you this gift, and it is so valuable, do you think he's going to let you play with it? You're a toddler to him. You're a newborn is what you are, a newborn baby Christian. And when you're that young, that helmet of salvation is put on your head and it's strapped securely where you can't take it off. No matter how much you want, Jesus will follow you, follow you all the way to even the depths of hell to get you because he's not going to lose one. and sharing a testimony of like my son-in-law. He uh he had it rough, but he he married my daughter. He was in our household and he lived with us and he was living a righteous young man. He's a believer in Christ. He's called on the name of the Lord Jesus. And then he went to the other side to the dark side, if you will, but he he got over there even cursing God. Did he lose his salvation? Right now he's back in the graces of God because he's finally realizing, oh, but people go back and forth all the time. Does that mean that they lost their salvation? Jesus loves you so much. He will not let you fiddle with that salvation helmet is securely on you. He will work on your heart. He's going to try to bring you back because he wants you to be fruitful and multiply. You're not being fruitful and you're not multiplying when you're living in sin. There's a difference there. Let's continue on in verse eight. Wherefore he saith, when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men. So this is all again a gift, a gift of teaching. We're going to get into the different callings here, but these gifts, it's a gift that you desire. I I desire teaching the word. I desire looking up the scripture. I desire finding the knowledge and the revelation. This is my heart's desire, and I love it because I want to do this. And the Lord answers that and allows me to do it. So now he that So verse 9, now that he ascended, he went up, what is it that but that he also descended, he went down first into the lower parts of the earth. And he that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens that he might fill all things. Now it's interesting what he's talking about here is Jesus entered his own creation. So Jesus came from the heavens as a spirit. He was with God in the beginning. John 1:1, in the beginning was the word and the word was God and the word was with God. So Jesus was a spirit at that time. Well, Jesus entered this world, his own creation, and became a man and then was crucified, which then he went down to the depths of paradise to get all those people out of there. And three days later, he rose from the grave, including all these other people. And when he came out, he ascended up. Then he and and he said, "I have to go to my father." So he goes to his father to go do whatever he needs to accomplish. Then he says, "I will send you a power, a comforter, the Holy Spirit." And then he tells us, "You will do things even greater than me." This is Jesus telling us what you're going to do under the gifts of the Holy Spirit. So he gives us these gifts because we are co-join hes with him. He has this calling. He's the son of God. And he says, I want you to when he said to Mary Magdalene on the way up when he was ascending up, he says, I go to my father, your father, my God, your God. Because see, he's now a man in a body who then says God is his God, his father, just like we do. So we become joint hes. So his power and authority we have because he gave it to us as a gift. We have the authority in the name of Jesus and we have the gift of the Holy Spirit who moves when he wants to. But the moment we take our relationship to this level where we're walking in humbleness, loneliness, meekness, and we are submitting ourselves to be in righteousness with God, then the Holy Spirit has opportunities and you will find yourself in a place where you are whether it's evangelizing, teaching, prophesying, and we're going to see those here in just a minute. Whatever it is that you're in, whatever your calling is, whether it's smiling to people, blessing them, laying hands and healing them, whatever it may be, you are, the Holy Spirit is actually saying to the world, look at my servant. Look who this is. She or he is doing what I've asked him to do in this foundation which Paul has established for us. Amen. So here's the callings um that Paul uh lists in verse 11. And he gave some apostles which an apostle is an ambassador and some prophets. The prophet is someone who foretells or is an inspired speaker and some evangelist that's a preacher. That's more like a motivational type of preaching. Evangelism is pretty cool. Sometimes I get very excited and I run off in that direction. Anyways, I try to keep it to teaching while I'm here and I try not to preach. I'm trying to teach because preaching, you saw what preaching is. Um, it's a uh or yeah, it's an evangelist as a preacher. And then some are pastors, which are shepherds. They they shepherd their church. They are going to be there one-on-one with you. They're going to be in that calling. Um, let me go over more of these here in just a minute. And then teachers, which are the instructors. So, there's an apostles. Apostles are ambassadors. They they go around the world representing Christ, maybe even establishing churches. That's what Paul and Peter did. Then you had the prophets. They're the ones there. It's also an inspired speaker, but they're foretelling and they're using the word of God to see future prophecy and the Lord is revealing it to them. Because even if they're given a vision of some sort, it has to line up with the word of God because that's how you have to measure it. Do you know it's from God or is it from some other source? may be someplace biased on the inside. You want to say, "Oh, that's so this all this hell is going to happen to you or you're going to be so prosperous with this." But if you're doing it through the word of God and the word of God is showing you the scripture that goes with what you're feeling or have seen in your mind's eye with the Lord, then that's prophecy. That's what you're doing. Evangelist is the preacher. Uh that's the one that's going around just motivating people. You're you get excited. You take a something out of the Bible and it's a golden nugget and that you you just elaborate on that golden nugget the entire time you are preaching which is sometimes so good and it really encourages people that that's a neat calling to be an evangelist. And then of course talking you know another thing evangelists do is when you're out in the world you just talk to hey do you believe in Jesus? He's the son of God. Don't you know he loves you? And you just blurt it out because you're an evangelist. That's what evangelists do. Then you have the pastors, a shepherd. Again, as I was saying earlier, this is um an individual who can take the whole church. He sits down with his church. He can go to the hospital for those individual. He knows every individual in his church and he is ministering to them at a shepherd's level, keeping them in track as a group. And typically churches should be a little smaller so a pastor can do that. Now, there are these other churches that have built up uh people that can be like assistant pastors and you've got your ministry where at least a a pastor type person with that calling is able to minister to people whether in the hospital, in their home or in the sanctuary and praying over them. That's part of pastoral ship. And then the teacher, which is what I'm called, that's what I do as I'm a teacher. I instruct I'm instructing you how to walk in the gifts of the spirit or laying down a foundation for you. Again, I point to the scripture and I point to you and your relationship with the Holy Spirit. You need to go talk to him and see if this is where you should be and what you're doing. Maybe he wants you to do something a little different. But he he always I think I like this. This is this is what I believe is that the Holy Spirit knows where your heart is. If you want to be in children's ministry because you love children, Holy Spir spirit is going to open the door for you to have that teaching or evangelizing to the children and you're going to do that through joy. See, when you love doing it and that, by the way, the Holy Spirit will transform you to do that because I was not a good speaker and never have been. But the Holy Spirit makes a way so that the desire and the joy of your heart comes out while you're doing whatever your vocation you're calling it. Amen. Now look at what he says though. This is the goal of it. Verse 12. For the perfecting of the saints, complete furnishing of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying or the structure of the body of Christ. This is to build the body of Christ to one unity. This is why we have to be very careful what teachers we're listening to. This is why we need to keep praying for them. This is why we have to watch the preachers that we're listening to because if they're going against the word of God or they're not getting a concept, we need to pray so that the Holy Spirit can work through them. And the more we do that, the more unified we become. But we're definitely not unified yet till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the son of God unto a perfect man unto the measure of the stature or maturity of the fullness of Christ. We're definitely not mature Christians. Now, we will reach perfection the moment we shed this body and we enter into his presence. We will definitely enter into perfection at that time. But we should be trying to achieve that as a body, not just an individual, but as a body. And even if we disagree with something somebody is saying, we need to be praying for them and loving them and hoping and then praying for ourselves because it could be we're misunderstanding something too and they have and and that's another thing uh in a teaching maybe one part is really good, one part is not. You have the right as a listener of that to say, "Oh, I'm going to accept that part and I'm going to reject that part and I'm going to pray for me and I'm going to pray for them." That way there's clarity and the Holy Spirit can work with you. And I'm hoping that these teachers and preachers can also start doing the same thing. That's coming into the unification of the body at that point. that we henceforth be no more children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the slate of men and cunning craftiness whereby they lie and wait to see. See, there are people that are deceiving intently and then accidentally. Part of it is lack of knowledge and God doesn't like the fact that we can be dumb. But at the same time, he gave us the Holy Spirit to teach us how to rise up in that knowledge and to go to the word. You see, here's another thing Paul says is we know in part and we see in part. I know a part and I see a part in the scriptures. Someone else might see another part that just gives us a bigger picture. And if he or she shares their part, I share my part, you have a bigger part because now it becomes your part plus the other two parts and so on and so forth. That's the unifying of the saints and building of the church to this goal. But speaking the truth in love may grow up into him in all things which is the head even Christ. See now you can't do anything without love. 1 Corinthians 13 says it's like a clanging symbol. I I don't want to trash a pastor. I don't want to speak curses against them because, oh, that was horrible. No, I want to pray for them again. Pray for me because maybe I'm miss some missing something. And then I'm just asking the Lord. That's an act of love. That's how you show love because we're not here. We already got the devil. Don't do the devil's job for him. Amen. Amen. from whom the whole body fitly joined together, compacted by that which every joint supply according to the effectual working in the measure of every part maketh increase of the body into the edifying structure of itself in love. Love is the mortar, the foundation that pulls it all together. And right now we know Matthew 24 prophesied that love will grow cold. And we're in that season. So, here is a time where we need to humble ourselves because if you're in with Jesus, you're loving. You're in love. You're acting and walking in love. You see, Jesus loved us so much. He died for us. Now, I can't do that, but he did it already. And so, what I can do is just remember that he loves everybody else the same way he loves me. And that gives me that foundation to lead to walking in the gifts of the spirit in my case teaching. Let's close in a word of prayer and let's uh let the Holy Spirit talk to you about this. I encourage you to go back and read the rest of this chapter and there's many other areas that he talks about the gifts of the spirit. Get into the scripture. Let the Holy Spirit talk to you. Find out your vocation. What is your joy? And let the Holy Spirit transform you. Renew your mind as Romans 12:1 tells us. And remember, there's no more condemnation. Jesus loves you. Show the world around us that love. Amen. Father God, we lift you up and we bless you and we honor you. We thank you for your word and we thank you. We pray and ask for the spirit of love to manifest within us that are believers so that the world will see what love what true love looks like. I pray that we express that true love. I pray that the that your word is going out and that uh we are building the body of Christ into one big structure that operates in love under the anointing of the Holy Spirit and in the power of the gifts that minister to the church so that we are not being de uh deceived or tossed about to and fro from false doctrine. But I pray that your hedge of protection and is is around us and that each teacher, each evangelist, each pastor, each calling, every vocation out there is walking in the anointing of your Holy Spirit with love. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. God bless you. I'll see you in the next teaching. Bye-bye. Home Previous Next

COMPASSION The objective of this message is to teach believers the biblical mandate and spiritual power of compassion. It emphasizes that compassion is more than simply being “nice”—it is an act of obedience to God, rooted in forgiveness, mercy, and love, and modeled by Jesus Christ. The teaching seeks to equip believers to extend compassion not only to those who are easy to love, but also to those who do evil, demonstrating God’s heart and opening doors for salvation and transformation. < Back COMPASSION Minister Lisa Kane February 1, 2024 Objective: The objective of this message is to teach believers the biblical mandate and spiritual power of compassion. Synopsis: In this message, Lisa Kane opens with Zechariah 7:9 to show that compassion is both a command and an actionable response of mercy toward others. She contrasts being “nice” with true compassion, which requires intentional forgiveness and obedience to God’s Word. Drawing from scriptures such as Micah 7:18–20, Psalm 78, and Jude 20–23, she explains how God repeatedly shows compassion despite humanity’s rebellion, and how believers are called to reflect that same mercy in their relationships and prayers. Lisa stresses that compassion is central to intercession, particularly for leaders, nations, and even those engaged in evil, because Jesus loves them just as much as He loves His followers. She provides examples from the life of Jesus (Matthew 9:36, 14:14, 15:32), highlighting how compassion moved Him to heal, provide, and guide. The message also explores the consequences of unforgiveness, the blessings of obedience, and the urgency of praying compassionately for others so they may come to salvation before the end of the Gentile age. Ultimately, this teaching calls believers to embrace compassion as the foundation of forgiveness, to intercede with love for others—including enemies—and to allow the Holy Spirit to cultivate compassion within them. It closes with a prayer for believers to live out compassion through word, deed, and heartfelt intercession, demonstrating Christ’s mercy in a hurting world. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this message on Thursday, February 1st, 20124. Welcome. This message is called Compassion. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your blessings and your favor upon your word. And we pray that we hear your word, apply your word, live by your word. And we pray that your compassions, your mercy, and your love overflows the cup within us, Father God, and that it just pours out on those around us and that we minister to those with love and compassion. In the glorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. And amen. Amen. Let's open uh let's go to our opening scripture here. Compassion is what this message is called. Zechariah 79. Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts saying execute true judgment and show mercy and compassions every man to his brother. Now I do have another message prepared that I was going to do today and the Lord speaking through my father basically. So we need to to talk on this message. One of the things that I've noticed and observe and this is what my father and I were talking about was as Christians get together and we talk about society in general or government or things of this nature. I heard a pastor just say the other day, you know, we need to be nice. Well, being nice is one thing, but being compassionate is another. And this really made an impression on my heart because we should be praying in forgiveness, which is what I've been teaching. You can go look at the empowering prayers. We added 13 new prayers to that prayer list and how you can put your name or put something in there and just pray that prayer and watch the spirit realm uh move on your behalf because you're forgiving and you're letting go. Well, we need to pray and have compassion for those even doing evil. We don't want to have compassion on them, believe you and me. But the key here is that Jesus loves them just as much as he loves me, just as much as he loves you. So, this is why we need to have compassion. So, let's go back to that opening scripture now and take a look at it in depth. Says, "Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts." So, this is from the father. This is the Lord telling us what how to have compassion, execute true judgment or pronounce sentence and then show or to do make mercy or kindness and compassion which is to love, mercy, pity every man to his brother. Now I want you to see that this is an actionable verb for you. says to do or to make mercy and compassions means you have to take the initiative whether you want to or not. It's called obedience and that's what we have to do. That is what the Lord is asking us to do. Now of course he's talking to Israel there but he's talking to everyone and in any time frame and we we live in what's called the fullness of the Gentiles. We are in the grace period and it is the Gentiles that are teaching and preaching uh to the world the redemption of our Lord Jesus that he pardoned everybody's sins and because he has done that we're to share the good news so that everybody knows everyone's sin is forgiven them. This is what's so powerful and if you really want to get technical I taught a couple of messages ago about the Holy Spirit and blaspheming the Holy Spirit. So go back and look at that teaching. I I don't want to drift off in that direction and repeat myself here. I want to show you what it is to have compassion for these that we see doing evil. You know, we're not any better than them. The fact is is that we just humbled ourselves before the Lord and we're just going to the Lord, but we're still in the flesh, but he has forgiven us. And that differentiates us from them and their actions are still sinning. And some people who haven't pressed into the Lord, but have called on the Lord, aren't forgiving and aren't living in forgiveness either. So, you're bringing yourself into curses from God and his heavenly realm simply because you're not choosing to forgive and let go. Well, we need to be doing this and we need to be doing this for the leadership around the world. Nobody's perfect. And even if you were a leader, I'm sure we can find something wrong with you. It's just the reality of it. Go look at the um revelation at chapters 2, three, or three and four anyway, right in that area. And look at the seven letters to the seven churches. Every single one of them except for one. They all say, "I still have something against you." So you did this, this was good, this was good, but I still have this against you. So with that in mind, let that generate the compassion because you should be recognizing that Jesus loves you and he's forgiving you. Okay? If he's going to do that for you, then we need to to do it for others. Otherwise, he's not going to do it for you. And he's clear on scripture with that. Let's go to our next scripture. Micah 7:18-20. Who is a God like unto thee that pardoneeth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retainth not his anger forever, because he delightth in mercy. He will turn again. He will have compassion upon us. He will subdue our iniquities, and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Now obviously this is talking about Jesus prophesied by the prophet Micah but show look at what he shows us. This is this is powerful. He is saying pardon it. He lifts us. He bears our iniquity. He took it on the cross. He was a man who knew no sin who took sin on the cross and God turned his face against him. I you know we don't understand and we can't comprehend what that moment must have felt like. But one thing we know for certain is that Jesus did it because he loved us. And that is something we have to keep forefront in our mind. And he passes. Look at this. It's a crossover, the transgression. So here here's another I just finished teaching on another Passover shown uh for the end times in the wedding part two. Now watch this. When you are saved, the blood of Jesus covers you. It it covers the lentil and the doorpost of you. So all the spirit of destruction, this the curses that come against a non-believer, they are crossed over, passed over us. They cannot affect us. They cannot get to us. Isn't that incredible? And he's showing it here in Micah. He says, "Who is this God?" And he passes over the transgression. And look at that transgression. Revolt, rebellion. Oh man, if you're not forgiving, let's say Biden or Trump, whichever side you're on. If you're not forgiving them, you're in rebellion because God told us to forgive them. He forgave you. You need to forgive them. And this is where the compassion comes upon. I'm going to show you what Jesus did with compassion in a little bit, but I want to show you. I want to go into the rest of this. So of the remnant uh which is the remainder residual portion of his heritage, he retainth not his anger forever because he delightth in mercy. He wants to give you mercy. He wants that for you and he wants you to accept it. It's up to you whether you want to accept it or not. And I'm praying that you do because we need to have compassion for those around us because if he loved us, he loves them just as much as he loves us. Hallelujah. And look at that second verse. He will turn again. This is God turning back, retreating from the destruction. He's going to have compassion, which is that love, mercy, pity upon us. Look at this. He's going to trod down and disregard our iniquities. And then he's going to cast them out and the sins, the offenses into the depths of the sea. Boop. He just throws it all out. That's incredible. That is absolutely so powerful. It's incredible. But look at verse 20. Thou wil perform the truth to Jacob and the mercy to Abraham which thou has sworn unto our fathers from the days of old. God keeps his promises and he promised Abraham that he would do this. So he's saying, I'm going to give you truth which is stability and certainty with kindness and favor because he promised it. That is for us. That is the compassion that he's showing us. Now, can you be like Jesus? Can you be like God? Let's look in Psalm 78. The wrath or the anger or the rapid breathing of God came upon them and slew. He smite with him dead. He smite them with deadly intent. That's what that word slew means. And the fattest of them and smokeote down he bent them at the knee the chosen men of Israel. Go look at Israel's history through the Bible and you will find the leadership that was evil and they were dispersed, broken apart. God slew, smite many of them and then kept a remnant because he was trying to show them this is what happens when you do evil. This is what happens when you do good. and he was showing. So it kept going back and forth until finally he dispersed Israel throughout the entire world. Continuing on verse 32, for all this they sinned. They missed the and they still continue to miss and believed not which that believe there means to build up support. They didn't believe in their support for his wondrous works which that separated and distinguished them. I mean he made a very clear distinguished type of lifestyle from generation to generation based on good kings and evil kings. He showed the history. He showed the consequences. It's all there. Do you want to go and look at it and find out what the truth is? Do you want to continue to accept evil? Do you want to be deceived? I bet you if there was a remnant of prophets uh bes or besides the prophets of the priest and just even ordinary people that were going to God praying for their leader. There might have been a different outcome for each one. And you can take a look at individuals. Look at Nehemiah. Look at Ezra. These are men of God, prophets that went before the Lord and humbled themselves before the Lord and asked for forgiveness. And Jesus hadn't even showed up yet. Yet God forgave them and gave them Jerusalem back. They rebuilt the city, the temple the second time. And as it rebuilt the second time, it was sadness for those that had seen the first temple, but praise and glory for those that didn't see the first temple, but that God was there to redeem them. And they knew. And this it was all there. It was all there. And yet they still went scattered abroad. Verse 33. Therefore their days which is the hot warm hours sunrise to sunset did he consume or to end to finish in emptiness vanity and their years revolution in time in trouble pan and basically they're saying you know what here you've been going day by day by day by day doing the same thing over and over again which is emptiness is vanity you keep doing it you're consuming yourself with that when if you just humbled yourself before the Lord had a little compassion showed compassion to others because Jesus showed compassion to you. Your life would be different. Now the question I have for you is do you want your life different or are you content with your life? Are you afraid that ch that God is going to change your life into something that's misery? I promise you it is not misery. Let's continue on in Psalm 7 78. We're in verse 34. When he slew them with deadly intent, then they sought to follow him and they returned and inquired early after God. Now, here's what happened. He killed off some of them. And then all of a sudden, everyone realized this is Israel. There is a God. I'm sorry, Lord. And they they came back to God and called on God. But when they had good times, they didn't even think of God at all. But they inquired of God every time they had a a panic, destructive issue they were facing. But God, that's how that's how he got his his attention. Are you facing panic, destructive forces at you every day? Uh life is hell on earth. You are going through torment. Well, guess what? You are free if you humble yourself before the Lord. Amen. Amen. Let's continue on. Because see, they inquired early after God. Verse 35. And they remembered or Mark made mark and mentioned that God was their rock, a cliff, and the high. He was elevated God. their redeemer, which by the way, that word redeemer means next to kim buy back a relative's property. The the Jubilee is an example of this, and they had given it up. But every 50 years, if during that 50 years, someone who had their land had to sell it because they had to live. Well, at the end of 50 years, the person they sold it to was supposed to give it back to them. Everything was supposed to restart. It's not a concept that we today are familiar with, but that was what God was teaching the Israelites to do. And by the way, they failed at that. And they didn't like it because, well, they didn't want to give it back. But God is saying, have compassion. Do what you're supposed to do. Be obedient. And then watch God move in your life. And he's going to bless you and bless you richly and abundantly. Not just financially, but man. Amen. You can have no money but have still joy in your heart. Be at peace and comfort in your days because you are with God. That is for you if you choose to want it. By the way, that also includes financial blessings too. God will never let his anointed, his beloved, anyone who is serving him, that remnant, he will never let you in uh in anywhere of a financial destitute situation. He will never he will never let you get into that situation. Amen. Let's continue on here. Verse 36. Nevertheless, they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues. They weren't serious. They remembered him. They marked him. They went to him. But their heart was not filled with compassion. Verse 37, for their heart, their feelings, their intellect was not right, wasn't erect. It didn't stand with him. Neither were they steadfast. They didn't build up or support in his covenant. That covenant, by the way, means cutting, passing between two pieces of flesh. Remember when God put Abraham into a deep sleep, Abraham had cut up two pieces of flesh, plus the birds and whatever he had around there and a smoke stack, God walked through him. That's how you did a covenant. But he put Abraham to sleep. He says, "Nothing you need to do, Abraham. Nothing you need to do. I'm going to make a co covenant with you. Now, if you want, I want you to come serve me. I want you to believe in me. I want you to have compassion like me. but I will save you if I have to go to hell myself to get you. And that's exactly the promise that God has for us. And by the way, he does do that. There are many people who testify that they had died, went to hell, and then God got him out of hell. You see, and then brought him back to life because God is talking to them. The Holy Spirit is trying to get their attention. And sometimes you have to do that with the fear of the Lord. Jude's going to show that us to us here in a few minutes. But look at verse 38. But he being full of compassion. This is God full of compassion. He's merciful for gay. Look at that. He put his covering over the iniquity, our perversity, our faults and are d and destroy, decay, ruin, cast off them not. He didn't destroy them. Yeah. Many a time turned his anger away. And he did not stir up or wake his wrath or all of his wrath, his feet or anger. He chose to have self-control filled with compassion. Now imagine if you did that. Imagine if I did that. Imagine what the world would be like if there's a hundred of us doing that. A thousand of us. A million of us. Imagine what the world would be like. And yet we still feed on milk instead of the meat of the word as Paul says because we do not submit and put that wrath, put that anger down and humble ourselves and have compassion and forgive. Oh ho ho, this is awesome. Verse 39, for he remembered. You see God marked and mentioned that they were but flesh. He remembered there a wind a breath that passeth away that walks and departs and cometh not again. He remembered what condition we're in. We're in the flesh. He remembered it. And out of that, he said, "I'm going to have compassion on that." This is why he sent his only begotten son, Jesus. Because he loves us so much. And he's asking us to have that compassion. So, if you're a teacher or a preacher, you're up on a stage and you've got a following or you're on the internet, you have a following, you need to be teaching compassion and forgiveness over those are enemies, over terrorism, over Hamas, Hezbollah, any anti-semitic person. You need to be showing mercy and compassion for them because what if you forgave them and Jesus forgives them and then the Holy Spirit comes in and works in their heart softening it and they repent. There was that testimony of over 200 men who had a dream, 200 Hamas men who had a dream of the same man. And they went to the missionaries next door and asked, "Who is this man?" And they said, "Well, that's Jesus." And they said, "Tell us more." And they believed. They repented. Now, imagine if our government leadership would repent. Now, if they don't, what if we're praying over the upcoming elections and we're asking because we're humbling ourselves before the Lord and the Lord gives us anything we ask for. What if we ask for a godly, righteous person to replace that person? What then would our government be like? Listen, I know that God's end is coming and I know that he is doing the things that he's doing, but that doesn't stop me from being obedient and praying for change, a better government, a a government that serves us as if they serve the Lord. Amen. We can do that. And that is what our calling is. God's going to do his thing no matter what. Okay? But I promise you, if you're obedient and doing your part, it's working right. And we can see a lot more people saved, which is the the goal of the time we're in. As I said earlier, the fullness of the Gentiles, that's coming to an end. That completes when that complete. We need to get as many saved, as many into the bridal party, as many into the supper feast with the Lord. We need to into the wedding party, into the wedding feast. Get as many as we can. That means we have to pray hard and fast hard for those that are stubborn. They're stiff necked. But if we're praying, we pray and ask the Holy Spirit and the strong angels to go and soften their hearts. He reaches them at the level that they're at because it's not by might nor by power, but by his spirit, says the Lord. Amen. Look at how Jude says this. This is very powerful. This is the the message of the gospel here that I'm showing you. And this is what we're to do. Now look at Jude. Uh there's only one chapter verses 20- 23. But ye beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, your persuasion credence, praying in the Holy Ghost. You see, we're to pray in the spirit. And notice what we're praying in faith. What is that persuading credence? You know what? I pray for people that are blaspheming the Holy Spirit. And I know that the Lord said he's not going to forgive. And I said, 'Lord, and I'm being kind of like Moses. Wait, Lord, forgive him one more time. Let's hope that they can be saved. That's what I'm doing. One more time, Lord. And I do it every day. One more time, Lord. Please, let's let's try to get them. Holy Spirit going. Don't give up on them. That's the compassion that the Lord has placed in my heart for those people. And that's what I've been called to pray for. One of the things I pray for. Are you praying for these people? Just maybe your brother-in-law, sister-in-law, your daughter-in-law, your daughter, your children, your your spouse. Maybe, just maybe, God will change them if you just simply say, "Lord, forgive me and I forgive them and I ask you to forgive them." And boy, the spirit of God will break through. That is a promise. And he's telling us here, Judah is saying, you're building yourselves up on that faith. You're persuading. You see, you're persuading him in your prayers. What? That we need to save them, Lord. That's your goal. I'm here to pray with you. I'm joining with you. You're persuading him. Amen. Verse 21. Keep. You got to watch. You got to guard yourself in the love, which is the affection and the benevolence of God, looking for the mercy, compassion of our Lord Jesus unto eternal or perpetual life. This is what we need to be walking in. that compassion from God. He's telling us straight up keep watch guard over yourself. Let yourself have that compassion because that is what God is calling us to be. And it's a strong fight because there is prophecy by Jesus that says love will grow cold. So we are self-driven in this time and age that we're in. But God, you see, if you're humbling yourself, the spirit of God is going to move. And if we had a day of Pentecost back then, we can have another day of Pentecost now. Amen. Amen. Verse 22. And some have compassion, mercy by word or deed, making a difference, separate thoroughly, and others save, deliver, or protect with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted for the flesh. Now you see, he's showing a distinguish between the two. You're going to save some with your actions. Taking advantage of forgiving, saying, "I forgive you. Don't worry about it. You're you're good. You're okay. And that way you bring peace and comfort to them. But then there are others. You got to save with fire. And Judah's telling us this. You've got to kind of frighten them and the Holy Spirit does that. I know a person who came to me one time years ago who said he had a dream the devil was chasing him. And I said, "Well, then God has your back and let's pray that you're walking in salvation and mercy." But that Holy Spirit had to get him from that kind of a dream. There's a distinct difference. And see, this is you walking in the spirit of discernment. This is you walking now with the right words of mercy and forgiveness for the Lord. Amen. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. This is you praying and you can have the victory of your loved ones. I know you have loved ones that you struggle with. Every one of us have loved ones like that. Every one of us have friends like that. Sometimes we fall apart, drift apart. But God and prayer, are you praying? Are you praying? It's time to take the time to pray and to distinguish the difference and to watch the Holy Spirit move in their lives. And you will see it cuz they're going to come to you out of the blue. They come to you. And I've seen it just from personal experience. Amen. Let's go look at 1 Corinthians chapter 3. We're going to read verses 11 through 15. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid which is Jesus Christ. You see all of this is based on Jesus. Jesus says I'm the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the father except through me. And Jesus says that everything he did he did because he saw his father do it. So he does what his father does. Now if I do everything that Jesus did, I'm doing everything the father did. And I'm walking in alignment under the three and with the Holy Spirit, the four of us. And we're moving through the spirit by praying. And the Holy Spirit is going to tell me what to pray for. And he's going to show me. And as I pray and I take it and I proved to God in faith, listen Lord, I fasted for this person. I atone for them. And I forgave them. And I know you have forgiven them. So Lord, I'm expecting victory. I'm expecting a breakthrough. And I'm telling you, Lord, that accuser, he lied and he has no forgiveness. And you see, this is what you do when you go to the courtroom of God. This is my next teaching I'm going to have here, hopefully that I get to get out. But you get to go back up to God and say, "He lied. I'm taking back my loved ones that he lied to, deceived, and stole from the kingdom of God." Well, I'm in the kingdom of God, and I'm marching out. I'm taking them back because he belongs to the Lord. Do you love your loved ones and have that much compassion to go fight for them? Oh, now that's a serious question. Let's continue on. Now, if any man build upon this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble, and every man's work, his toil as effort, shall be made manifest. For the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed, or to take the cover off by fire, and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide, it stays. it it dwells there which he hath built upon it survived the fire in other words which he hath built thereupon he shall receive or take his reward if any man's work shall be burned consumed holy he shall suffer loss to injure experience detriment but he himself shall be saved delivered protected healed preserved yet so as by fire you see our goal here as believers in Christ is to get as many people saved as possible have them confess the name of Jesus. Romans 10:9 says that if you confess Jesus with your mouth that he is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We need to get as many doing that. Now, some are going to walk away. They're going to choose to go live their own life. They're going to build their kingdom up with hay and stubble and wood. But when the fire comes to them, they enter into judgment before the Lord. All that's going to burn away and it's going to mean nothing. But did you see what Paul says here, but he himself shall be saved. Yes. So by his fire. And then there are others like me. I hope that spending time with the Lord and taking the initiative to go and pray for these people and let the spirit of God move. Well then whatever gold and silver I put there, it will handle it. It'll handle the fire. And I when that judgment goes through, those things will be sitting there around me. And I thank God for that. But the most important thing I thank God for is his compassion on me and for what he has done for me and what he can do for you. Because this is the compassion that we need to have for our loved ones to show them that God is real and that he saves. I want to show you uh three different scriptures, many many more of Jesus having compassion in that moment. Look at this. Look at his example. Matthew 9:36. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion, which means to have the bowels yearn on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd. Here's one example. Look at this example. Matthew 14:14. And Jesus went forth and saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion toward them and he healed their sick. This is a different event in history here. He had compassion. Here's a third one. Then Jesus called his disciples. This is Matthew 15:32. Then Jesus called his disciples unto him and said, "I have compassion on the multitude because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. And I will not send them away fasting unless they faint in the way." He, this is when he went and broke bread and the fish and fed the 5,000 and the 7,000. You can see these are different. He had compassion on the people. He has compassion on each and every one of us. The question is, do you have compassion? Do you really want your loved ones saved? You might hate them right now and it's simply because you hate them because of the circumstance and the situation whatever you find is there but because of the compassion that you should have because the Lord has given it to you that is what should go forth for you from you forgiving because you have the compassion on them. We need to have compassion on the leadership around the world. We need to have our compassion on pastors who mess up. We need to have compassion on our neighbors who mess up. We need to have compassion on ourselves because we mess up. So compassion is the driving force toward that forgiveness. It's a yearning within our soul that we need to release. And if you can't have that, all you have to do is say, "Lord, help me have compassion because I want to forgive. I want to let go." And you know what? It gets easier and easier with time. And the Holy Spirit will manifest compassion within your heart and your soul. If you truly want to pursue that, he will do it. And I pray that you do. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your blessings upon this word. And Father God, we thank you for your anointing, your gloriousness, your faithfulness. And Lord, we pray and ask for the spirit of compassion to be within our souls and that we speak compassion. we show compassion and that we do it with our acts, with our deeds, and we do it with our heart and we do it with prayer and we do it with love, Father God. And that the mercy that you have goes forth trailing that compassion through the Holy Spirit and through the strong angels breaking forces down, breaking walls down, breaking hatred down, breaking anger, bitterness, and breaking unforgiveness. Father God, thank you Lord for the victories that we're going to have here in our loved ones. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. God bless you. I will see you in the next message. Bye-bye. Previous Next Home

By choosing to trust God instead of striving in unbelief or frustration, Christians can experience peace, healing, stability, and victory in their daily lives. < Back ENTER HIS REST Minister Lisa Kane January 6, 2024 Objective: The purpose of this teaching is to help believers understand the biblical meaning of entering God’s rest, as taught in Hebrews 3–4 and supported by the Psalms. The message aims to show that rest is not merely physical relaxation but a spiritual act of faith and obedience. By choosing to trust God instead of striving in unbelief or frustration, Christians can experience peace, healing, stability, and victory in their daily lives. Synopsis: In Enter His Rest, Lisa Kane explores the scriptural call for God’s people to enter into His promised rest. Drawing from Hebrews 3 and 4, she highlights the example of Israel’s disobedience in the wilderness, showing how unbelief kept them from receiving the rest God intended. In contrast, true faith and obedience open the door to peace, stability, and blessing. The message also weaves in insights from Psalms 37, 38, and 116, which connect rest with patience, forgiveness, and the quieting of the soul in God’s presence. Rest is shown to be both a command and a gift—an intentional act of ceasing from striving, trusting God’s provision, and allowing Him to heal both body and spirit. Lisa emphasizes that entering God’s rest equips believers to resist anger, frustration, and fear, while cultivating boldness, faith, and testimony before others. Just as God rested on the seventh day, Christians are called to follow His example by stepping back from self-effort and allowing His Word and Spirit to work within them. Ultimately, rest becomes a weapon of victory, crushing the enemy underfoot, and a testimony of faith that demonstrates God’s peace and power in the midst of life’s challenges. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and I'm recording this message on Saturday, January 6, 2023. This message is called Enter His Rest. Amen. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your presence and we thank you for your anointing and we thank you for the power of your word, the living word of God. And we thank you that it moves forward. That it strikes and divides and meets the needs of every person deep within their bones. Father God, I thank you. I thank you. And I thank you because you are all powerful. You are glorious. You are the creator. You are the healer. You are the provider. Thank you in the name of Jesus. Amen. And amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture here in Hebrews. Hebrews 3:19. And so we see that they cannot enter in because of unbelief or that word unbelief means faithlessness or another word for it is faithlessness. Well, you know I am teaching a different kind of message. So this is called enter his rest. My pastor taught on Sunday uh a message on rest and the Sabbath and I you know resonated with me. Normally I don't teach on something that another pastor's taught on but then I heard three other messages. So, I got a total of four messages this week on the topic of rest in the Sabbath. And I thought, wow, Lord, you're talking to me. So, this message is really more for me, but I'm going to share it with you while I teach myself. Amen. So, I've done some research here. We are going to be focusing in Hebrews, and we're going to be focusing on uh Hebrews 3 and 4. So, if you want, get your Bibles ready because we're going to be reading some good chunks of scripture through there. In the meantime, there are three scriptures in Psalms that I want to show you that apply to rest. And it kind of really uh brings to heart the difference between living in sin, living with Christ, because you got to know the difference between the two. I taught on this last week, what the difference between salvation and living for Christ is. So there is something visible that we can see and actually entering or not entering into that rest gives us a clue as to who you are and what kind of life you're living. Amen. So Psalm 37:7, rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him. Fret not thyself because of him who prosperth in his way because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. All of us look out at other people and we all see those that are doing so good, so prosperous, have all the money. I mean, look at our current leadership in the government of the United States of America and how prosperous they are. It's frustrating. But God is saying, look at this or this the author of Psalm here is saying rest. Look at the word rest. To be dumb, see, stop in the Lord. Okay, let's explain because it takes a moment to think this through and understand it. So to be dumb. Okay, so in other words, what you're doing is because you're so frustrated, you get mad and you see these situations. So what that word rest is telling you to do, just stop, pretend that's not going on, be dumb about it, and go to the Lord. Wait a second. How do I do that? Because now the emotions are flying. Look at what kind of emotions he's talking about in the Psalms. He says, "Fret not thyself." And what does that mean? Glow or grow warm. The blood pressure, you're you're getting heated. Your your face turns color when you get angry. It turns red. It just that's the way it happens. Darkens and reds and bulges. Well, he's saying, "Don't let that get to you. Rest in the Lord." What does he say? rest, which means to be dumb. Cease. Stop. Stop yourself. Oh, okay. I gotta stop myself. How do I do that? So, we're gonna be looking into that. Um, now let's look at another verse in Psalm. Psalm 38:3. There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger, neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. Here we are again about anger. If you're angry at something or someone, look at this. I have no rest. There's no soundness, no wholesome, no I'm not complete in my flesh. My my my bones are not at safe. They they're not healthy. They're not prosperous because I'm in sin and I haven't been forgiven of my sin. So taking rest is an act of obedience or if you don't do it, you're in sin. [Music] which we all know that Jesus, he's the the Messiah. He came to redeem us and pardon us. And because he did that, we get to stop and say, "Lord, forgive us." So, he's showing us, these scriptures are showing us a little bit of self-control here. We have to take heed, make sure we don't let this get out of hand. Let's look at a third verse in Psalm. Psalm 116:7. Return unto thy rest, oh my soul, for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. Look at this. Return back. You got to get your life back with God in the secret place with the Lord. You have to find that rest, quiet, settled spot home for your soul. Your soul needs to have that quiet moment. And look at because the Lord is treated bountifully with you. You are God will treat you bountifully. This is an act of obedience. He's going to do that. So, let's go to Hebrews. We're going to look at start at three. We're going to go in start at chapter 3. We're going to go into chapter 4, but let's start at verse 11. And this is the chunk of scripture we're looking at is the author is trying to tell us, okay, we're going to look at the Israelites who wandered the wilderness for 40 years and what they did. And look at what God did here. So now God, he swore an oath in his wrath. Okay? Because it's talking about God. So I swear in my wrath, and it was a justifiable, violent, passionate wrath that he's talking about that this is God talking. They shall not enter my rest. Because see, God said to the Israelite, he was so vexed and frustrated with him that he's like, I'm not going to let you enter my rest. I mean, he just got mad. And this is where he's saying, "They shall not enter my rest." Look at the word rest there. It means reposing down or dormant sleep, abode, which is like a home. And uh as you can see what I'm teaching here is the bold words are in the King James version. The words in parentheses are additional meanings of that word in bold. Okay. So as you can see here he swore in his wrath and he's a they're not going to get into a reposing down dormant sleep or abode. Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil which is a hurtful influence heart or thoughts or feelings of unbelief which is faithless faithlessness in departing from the living God. You see, when you're in hardness of heart, which is what these people in the wilderness were, you are in evil. You're you have a hurtful influence on the thoughts and the feelings of those around you because you don't have faith. you're not following the living word of God. You're not living in the living word of God. And these people were doing that. So this writer, the author of Hebrews is telling us, get a hold of yourself. Now let's continue on. 13 But exhort one another daily while it is called today, lest any of you follow the same pattern, be hardened through the deceitfulness, delusion of sin. You see, when the Israelites had wandered around and they were eating heaven, bread from heaven, mana, they got bored with it and they wanted their onions back from when they were in slavery with the Egyptians. Oh, those onions. Oh, I miss those. Oh, if I could only have another, you know, had they had just humbled themselves and took hold of themselves and say, you know, Lord, went to Moses and said, "Hey, Moses, can you go talk to God? I'm thankful we have the mana. I'm grateful for it. Can he add some flavor to it or give us a a difference? Because see, we're in the flesh. We want something different all the time. And God knows that and he will work with you. This is why he said, "Enter your rest." Because you got to deal with your flesh. Which is what Psalms was trying to tell us about our bones not being in good, safe, healthy, prosperity areas because we're not entering into that rest. This is where people get cancer and things of that nature. This is why you'll see a lot of medical offices and systems try to provide a tw tranquil atmosphere for their patients because they're trying to calm them because if they can calm down a bit, it brings the blood pressure down. Right? Verse 14. For we are made partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end. Basically saying we're participants of of Christ and what he did. We need to stay confident in and we have to set ourselves under his support and be stable unto the end. You see that's what entering rest is all about. Stability. How many times you do good, you do good, you do good, you do it for several months in a row and all of a sudden you crash and burn because you got to enter your rest to keep it going to the end. While it is said today, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts as in the provocation or the irritation of the Israelites to God back in the wilderness. And he's saying today, now today meant, let's say we were here yesterday. Yesterday was today. Tomorrow will be today. So he's saying now, this is the now you have to get a hold of yourself, take heed of yourself and watch out for hardening your heart. And then he says, "For someone they had heard did provoke or exasperate. How be it not all that came out of Egypt by Moses." See, some did. And what's happened is when you get a bad apple, it kind of affects all the other apples in the basket. Well, you had these moaner and groaner and complainers. And then these people who weren't moaning and complaining heard that and oh yeah, okay. and they agree and it becomes fruitful. It multiplies. Well, we have to stop that. We have to take heed of ourselves. If you hear someone complaining, you should be entering the Lord because that's where your rest is. Let's continue on because the author is going to get to that. Says verse 17, "But with whom was he grieved or vexed?" 40 years God whom was he grieved and vexed with? Was it not with him that had sinned or missed the mark? whose carcasses the limb of the body fell in the wilderness. You see, there's a consequence to not entering in his rest, to not following the obedience of God's call. The people of the Israelites in the wilderness did not make it into his rest because God swore they will not enter his rest because they were provoking him to anger. They weren't taking heat of themselves and getting some self-control to say, "Hey, so this is what he's saying." So those people, they died in the wilderness. This is why your bones get sick. This is why you get sick because you didn't take the rest that your body requires. And God used that to just basically tell them, "You're not entering my rest." And he killed them all off. I think it was 21 years and younger entered into the promised land. the rest didn't because of their act of disobedience. Verse 18, and to whom swear or an oath he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believe not. So what he's saying is they there's a promise here. And this is what the author is trying to point out. He's telling them they're the ones that were acting in disobedience and I swore that they cannot have rest. Which means there's a rest for those of us who do obey. Let's look at that. Let's look at that. This is awesome. So, we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. We know that they lacked faith. You know, they you know, it was different because Moses would go speak to them face to face and he they got scared of them. Yes. But then they went and built a golden calf and they went and did this and they went and did that. Wandering for 40 years, moaned and complained and groaned and and vexed the Lord. So now look at what he says about this. We're now in chapter 4 verse one. Let us therefore fear lest a promise being left of us enter into his rest. Any of you should seem to come short, deficient in fear of it. You see, he's saying if you're going to believe you, if you're not going to believe me, you're going to act in disobedience. This is what's going to happen to you. But if you choose to believe, this is a promise for you to enter into his rest today, not tomorrow. But tomorrow will be today, and you will be in that rest if you choose to have faith and believe. How do you have faith when faith is you? A lot of us don't have faith that even measures up to the size of a mustard seed as Jesus pointed out. And these people in the wilderness did not have any faith. They wanted to go back to what they knew. They couldn't see the future that God had for them. And remember, even when Joshua entered into the promised land, they had to go to war and fight the um other cultures that were around and all the other kingdoms that were there. They had to fight them. But God was with Joshua and he used different tactics to beat them all and God showed himself more and more because they had faith. This group of people believed. So the question is, are you going to be the one who's going to die out in the wilderness where your carcass dies, your bones become sin, uh corrupt, full of sin and disease, or are you going to have the belief and the faith that Jesus is the son of God and that you can enter his rest? I mean, I don't know if you're struggling with sleep right now or if you're struggling in your mind where you need to have a peace. I'm going to tell you right now, all of this action of being obedient, entering into his rest gives us the victory for the situations and the circumstances we've been dealing with and praying for and whatever we're facing. Let's go on. Let's go on. I want you to see this. Verse two. For unto us was the gospel preached as well as unto them. But the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. You see, now you're looking at two groups of people, which is what I've been talking about. Ones that don't have faith, they lack belief. They're not believing. And then you have a group that is believing. And all it takes is the moment you choose to be obedient. Okay, God, I don't understand why you're telling me to sit down or why I have to come to you and I can't deal with this situation myself. I can't go deal with our current government and current powers. I can't go deal with that myself. Okay, I'm going to put myself in this situation and I'm going to wait on you in obedience even though I don't want to. God respects that. He does. He wants you to act in that obedience because that act is your act of faith which activates God and he moves on your behalf. Now your bones are safe. You're in good health because those that try to attack, let's say a prominent position that's being ran by evil right now and you try to go take it out, what happens? You end up dying most of the time or they arrest you and you go into jail and you never come out again. That's just how that works. So, this is where now we have to take heed, self-control, and come into believe. And whether you believe or not, you say, "Okay, Lord, I'm going to have to trust you. I don't understand what's going on. I don't know why evil is so prominent right now. I don't know why these these things are taking place for I know that the the gates of hell will not prevail. So, I'm just going to take a step of faith and I'm going to enter your rest and I'm going to pray about it. Or you've got managers at work that are just picking on picking on you. You've got situations in your home where people are aggravating you and and I'm going to go enter my rest with the Lord because I need it. Lord, I come to you. I give this to you. I'm going to sit here. I'm going to put some praise worship music on. I give it to you. It's done. I'm going to leave it alone and I'm going to do something different. I'm going to read scripture. I'm going to do some crochet. I'm going to do knitting. I'm going to bake some bread. I'm going to go work on an engine in a car. But I'm giving it to the Lord first. You see how powerful the presence of rest does for us? For us, for me, the me. This is so important. Oh, and that that takes that's taking faith and belief and mingling the two together. That is our responsibility that we need to do. Now, verse three, for we which have believed do enter into his into rest, as he said, as I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest, although the works toil, acts were finished from the foundation of the world. You see, God entered his rest after he did his works and all the works were done at the end of the sixth day. So if all the works were done, all the evil was already taking place and we know the victory and the outcome of the war, then this is where now we can win the battle because we choose to come into the rest knowing faith, knowing belief we got the victory. Oh hallelujah. Look at Jesus. Look at what God did on the seventh day. This is the author still Hebrews. He's still talking about God on the seventh day. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise and God did rest that seventh day from all his works. Now that word wise there means it's referring to a precedent. Uh it's going to go be it's going to become the rule to follow. So God rested on the seventh day. This is why we have what's called the Sabbath. This is one act of obedience that we can take upon ourselves and have that um that satism that that peace at rest. Now it doesn't mean no work or it doesn't mean sleep or don't walk to your neighbors or things like that. Now I know the Israelites followed it that way but as a believer in Christ a little different for us. It is the act of obedience to say I'm going to settle down. I'm going to calm my soul. you know, because I've been praying in the spirit now um for the prayers I posted up on our website recently and I've been doing it for several weeks in a row and I was kind of getting burned out of it and I was like, Lord, I can't keep doing this. I'm going to treat it kind of like a job and take my weekend off and do it during the week. And then all of a sudden, here comes this message teaching me how about rest. Now you see why I want to teach this to you. Because now I'm finally beginning to understand what it is that God did when he rested on the seventh day. So now I've done my prayers. I did my obedience. And now Lord, I enter your rest. I'm going to sit down. I'm put some praise and worship music on. I'm going to knit. I'm going to crochet. Whatever I'm going to do for that that settles me, that keeps me calm and the things that I like to do. But I'm sitting there and all I'm doing is just I'm not having to do anything I don't want to do. That's the rest our bodies needs. And you know, it's a mind and body thing that your your bones are going to appreciate because you need to heal. They need to heal. This is what I I've been aching and hurting because we've been moving all this kind of stuff and getting settled. And the other day I sat down and I was I was crossstitching and and a couple hours later, you know, as I got up, walked around, I was like, even the next morning I got up and I go, man, I feel a whole lot better. I'm telling you guys, this is very powerful. Very, very powerful. Um, and and so here God rested on the seventh day. Verse five. And in this place again, if they shall enter into my rest, seeing therefore it remainth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached, entered not in because of unbelief. It was first preached to the Israelites, and they didn't enter. They rejected Jesus as the son of God. And as a result, and well, they rejected God and his provision out in the wilderness. What he was trying to do is work on their heart so that he can get them humbled so he can bring them into the promised land. this group of people were so stubborn and hard and necked hardhearted that he couldn't get them out of it. So he says, "Never mind. You're not going to enter the rest I have for you." But he's telling the rest of us who look at that as an example to say, "I do have a rest for you." It's a promise. I love it. I love it. Let's continue on. Verse 9. There remainth therefore a rest. And look at what that word rest means. Type of heaven, sabbaticism. It's a repose, which means a sleep, peace, tranquility, calm of Christianity to the people of God. Meaning, all hell can be breaking loose. And you've entered into God's rest. And you say, "You know what? I've already given it to the Lord. He's taken care of this. I don't have to worry about it." And you have victory just from that alone. That act, that statement, because you are now stating as a fact, which is an act of faith of belief that God already took care of it. I don't have to worry about it. A that's awesome. I hope you guys are grasping this. Verse 10. For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest lest any man fall under the same example of unbelief. We got to take heed, have some self-control, put ourselves in that rest. It's something we have to do. God is expecting us to do it because now it becomes an act of obedience. And did you see that he says settle down cease for he that entered into his settle down cease moment we ceased from our works. You know, all these prayers that I've been praying, actually, the moment I enter my rest, it's like the amen and the amen. Let it be done. Okay, Lord, I'm going to enter my rest. I've done my part. It's up to you to do your part. This is now to show you what I'm talking about in that because I want you to see this. Those scriptures preede this. This is now Hebrews 4. We're still in Hebrews 4. We just finished verse 11. Look at what verse 12 is. For the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of sunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the hearts. You see, you're now in a situation. And I'm going to pause. I'm gonna let God handle this because he's going to take care of it better than I would anyways. So every time you're praying and you're giving God the glory, and then you enter into that moment of confidence, boldness, rest, I feel good. God's got it. God's got it. And every time that all hell breaks loose and it's all, you make a better decision when you're in your rest. You know how to decide where to go, what to say, what to do. you are prepped and ready as a believer in Christ. And then what does that do? That establishes your testimony to those running because they're looking at you like, why aren't you all in all up in arms about this management change or this this kind of issue or situation? Or why aren't you more concerned about our loved ones and da da da why aren't you concerned that he's not getting well? And what you're doing is you're saying, "I'm in faith by obeying God because I gave it to him and I'm not going to let it worry me." [Music] That's what this scripture means by the dividing of the soul and the spirit. You know, like I said earlier, when I had laid down and rested and finally got in my rest, I sat down and the next morning I got up and I was like, "Man, my bones feel a lot better. I'm not so achy today." That is the rest of God that he has promised us. The healing that we have the right to have. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. This is how the word of God penetrates our hearts and minds. It's that act of obedience where we step out and say, "God's got it. God's got it. Quick. It's powerful. It's sharper. God's got it. It discerns. Oh, God's got it. Look at verse 16. Let us therefore come boldly into the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. You We got to do this for God's grace and to help those in the time of need. Because how many people are out there that are not in the rest of God? They're not resting in God. Now, Paul talks about this in Romans. Look at Romans 16:20. And the God of peace, look at that word peace here. Prosperity, rest, quietness, shall bruise, crush completely, shatter Satan under your feet shortly. That's in the state of rest. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Are you catching this? The moment you enter into your obedient rest time and rest period, the grace of peace, the God of peace, your prosperity, your rest, your quietness is going to bruise the devil because every time the devil throws something at you, God's got this. I'm at peace. I've settled my soul down with the Lord. I'm good. Woo. And he says, "Satan, it'll crush completely, shatter Satan." Now, Satan is, it's another word for any evil that comes in your life that comes after you. Bad health, bad finances, and and a lot of these things you're in that situation because you made bad decisions because you didn't enter your rest that you have that God has given you to enter. Oh, and it crushes crush completely shatters Satan under your feet shortly. And that's that state of rest. How long does it take for healing to take place? Sometimes it could take days. Sometimes it could take months. Um I went uh when I was getting out of that diabetes and high cholesterol, that kind of stuff. And I've been healed of all of that. It took several weeks of me praying. I had the elders pray over me, casting the demons out. I did everything I possibly could. It took weeks, but finally when I finally said, "You know what, Lord? I'm going to trust and take this step of faith and I just got rid of all that insulin. I got rid of all that those pills." Do you know that to this day I still have no issues? None whatsoever. You know, and and there are moments that it tries to come back and it's like, "Nah, get lost. I already defeated you, devil." Talk about having some confidence and boldness. This is going to trigger that when you enter your rest. Because what you're doing is you're telling the Lord, "You got this. I'm done trying to handle it myself. And I choose to walk in the quietness, in my rest, because you promised me rest." And that means I know that you and the angels and the Holy Spirit are going forth and doing your thing. Amen. Amen. Amen. Oh, I hope you get this message. I hope you stand on Christ and I hope you apply it to yourself. Oh, let's close the word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the power and the anointing of your word. And we pray and ask that we apply it to our lives. That we do enter our rest that you promised us. That we live in that rest. that we live in that confidence and the boldness knowing that you and the angels and the Holy Spirit are taking care of whatever's going on around us, Father God. For we do it in the act of obedience. We do it in an act of faith because we believe. We believe that you are the son of God, Jesus. We believe that you redeemed us and pardon us. We believe that you are God. You are holy. We believe in faith that you are our provider, that you are our healer. And so we take the act of faith to believe and co-mingle the two together so that we can enter into the rest and say, "Here you go, Lord. All my problems belong to you because they're not mine anymore in the name of Jesus, the son of the living God. Amen and amen." And God says, "I take it. Enter your rest." I hope you get this and I hope you live it. Amen. Amen. God bless you. I'll see you in the next message. Byebye. Previous Next Home

UNDERSTANDING TODAYS EVENTS FROM THE BIBLES POINT OF VIEW Equip believers to interpret contemporary world events through the lens of biblical prophecy—especially Daniel 9, Jeremiah 25, and Matthew 24—by distinguishing Israel’s prophetic timetable from the Church age, clarifying the “70 years” versus the “70 weeks,” and urging watchfulness, repentance, and readiness for Christ’s return. < Back UNDERSTANDING TODAYS EVENTS FROM THE BIBLES POINT OF VIEW Minister Lisa Kane November 27, 2022 Objective: Equip believers to interpret contemporary world events through the lens of biblical prophecy—especially Daniel 9, Jeremiah 25, and Matthew 24—by distinguishing Israel’s prophetic timetable from the Church age, clarifying the “70 years” versus the “70 weeks,” and urging watchfulness, repentance, and readiness for Christ’s return. Synopsis: The message opens in prayer and sets the aim: to understand “today’s events” from Scripture. It begins with Daniel 9:2 and Jeremiah 25:11–12, noting that Jeremiah’s 70 years of Babylonian captivity (literal years) are distinct from Daniel 9:24–27’s 70 weeks (shabua—weeks of years). The teaching walks through the Hebrew terms to emphasize this difference and then outlines the prophetic math: 7 weeks + 62 weeks = 69 weeks (483 years) leading to Messiah’s appearance and being “cut off,” leaving one week (7 years) still future. The sermon frames Jesus’ first coming as fulfilling the first part of Daniel 9:24 (ending transgression/sin via the cross) and explains that the remaining goals (everlasting righteousness, sealing vision/prophecy, anointing the Most Holy) await completion in the final seven-year period often called the Tribulation. Between the 69th and 70th week, the “clock” for Israel pauses while the Church age (the “dispensation of grace”) advances the gospel. Turning to Matthew 24:4–14, 32–44, the talk connects Jesus’ signs—spiritual deception, wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, rising offense, false prophets, lawlessness, global gospel witness—to conditions visible in the modern world. The fig tree lesson underscores that while the exact day or hour is unknown, the season can be recognized; thus the call is to watchfulness. Prophetically, the message highlights Ezekiel 38 (often associated with a Gog–Magog coalition) as a major signpost potentially near at hand and places the rapture in close proximity to such end-time events, with mention of the sealing of the 144,000 and the ministry of the two witnesses. Using the days of Noah analogy, it urges believers to live ready, protected in Christ, while the unprepared are caught off guard. The sermon closes with an evangelistic appeal from Romans 10:9–13, inviting hearers to confess Jesus as Lord, submit to His headship, and actively “watch” by aligning their lives with God’s purposes, studying Scripture, and discerning the times. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and I'm recording this on Sunday, November 27th, 2022. This message is called Understanding Today's Events from the Bible's Point of View. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this message and we thank you for this message. We pray that it ministers to our hearts and minds. That our eyes are open to see, that our ears are open to hear, and that our hearts are open to receive, believe, apply, and live, and be watchful for what's coming. Lord, we thank you in the glorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. All right, this is an interesting message. Let's go to our opening scripture here. Daniel 9:2. In the first year of his reign, I Daniel understood by the books of the numbers of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jamai Jeremiah the prophet that he would accomplish 70 years in the desolations of Jerusalem. Okay. So, first before I really delve into this message, I really want to just say that the Holy Spirit made it clear to teach this message. I started, you know, I I'm in the word of God every day, but Friday night, I was in the word of God from very early evening all the way till 11:30 at night. And then Saturday, as I finished putting this message together, I was blown away by it. I was like, "Wow, Lord, this is really neat." At the same time, my dad had emailed me uh a message he's been writing for the last few weeks, and it's a 20page document. I will be uploading that today with this message. So you'll get both at the same time. Now I finalized my message. I had, you know, we don't collaborate here on our messages that we teach. We just do what the Holy Spirit is teaching us. So as I started reading my dad's message to proofread it and get it in the format that it needs to be to upload. This is after I put my message together yesterday, I was blown away because it was the same topic I'm teaching on today. same most of the same scriptures. He delves into it a lot more in the numbers perspective. So, you're really going to be blessed by that. So, make sure that you also read his document. I'm going to put it in the book section and I'm going to put it in the published documents today with this video. So, and and then on top of it, when I was up this morning getting ready and uh just checking out my YouTube videos that I monitor and read and watch every day and uh I see that Pastor Jack Hibbs over there at Calvary Chapel in Chino Hills is on part two of understanding the times to, you know, watching for the signs, being watchful of the signs. And I thought, wow, we're all teaching the same message. So, this is very timely, very important, and I really truly want you to watch and pay attention to this message because I want to make sure that you understand that there is a misconception of teaching about not knowing when when there's a specific statement that Jesus says that, you know, we need to understand. He's telling us to be watchful, which means we should know or at least we have a window of time that we should know. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to take you back to Daniel and I'm going to show you his calculations of how he knew when Messiah was going to be born and that the Israelites still rejected Messiah. And of course that was all spiritual because the Lord was doing what he was doing. So I want you to see this because I what you see what happened with the Israelites can be applied to the church because God does everything the same way. He repeats cycles. So understand that, see that, and let's get into these scriptures because you're going to be your mind's going to open up with this. At least that's what I'm praying for. So let's read that scripture again. He says, "In the first year of reign, I Daniel understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet that he would accomplish 70 years in the desolations of Jerusalem." So let's go look at Jeremiah because Daniel's referring to Jeremiah. So let's take a look here. Jeremiah 25:11-12 says, "And this whole land shall be a desolation and an astonishment, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon 70 years. Then it will come to pass when 70 years are completed that I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Calaldanss, for their iniquity, says the Lord, and I will make it a perpetual desolation." Okay, understanding something very important here. Daniel was a captive in the nation of Babylon. He was taken into captivity when he was young, very very young. I don't know how old he was, but him, his three friends, if you read the whole book of Daniel, you will read about the lion's den. Daniel lines down you will read about history friends being thrown into the fiery pit or the fiery furnace that um was burned seven times hotter which is actually something to melt gold with. This is how they made their idols and stuff. So anyways you will read all that. So Daniel suddenly comes to the realization as he's reading Jeremiah the prophet 70 years is about to come up and he's like wait a second all of a sudden it it's like what's going to happen next Lord now remember Daniel if you read Daniel he's been given dreams and visions including King Nebuchadnezzar and God worked miracles through King Nebuchadnezzar even turned him into a werewolf for seven years you got to read these scriptures the book of Daniel is fascinating. This is something you you ought to know and read and understand it. So Daniel comes to the realization and he's like, "Lord, I I need to know what's going on." So he starts a 21-day fast. So this is where we're at in this concept. Okay? So first, let me show you what Jeremiah just said. Remember, he said 70 years of captivity. And notice I bolded the word years. Uh we can go back and look at that scripture here. I want you to see this because you need to understand the difference because there's a misconception teaching on this as well. But 70 years, years, years, the word is years. That means in the Hebrew it's something a little different. So what does the word years mean in Hebrew? In the Hebrew Strong's dictionary, Jeremiah 25:11, the word year, H8141 is shock or shah. And obviously I'm I'm not speaking that correctly, but I ask for forgiveness in that. And notice it says the first form being in plural only, the second form being feminine from H8138. It's a year as a revolution of time. And we know what a year is. 360 days. Now I do believe at one point they thought 360 days was a year. So either way, it's a cycle, a year. So 70 years of captivity was destined and prophesied by Jeremiah for the nation of Israel and most of the Israelites were taken into captivity and there were many living in in destitute. You can read uh Nehemiah and Ezra. Nehemiah goes to the king and he says to the king, you know, I need to go rebuild the walls. And um the king allows him to do it. So all this is happening during this time. Now let's look what Daniel does. So Daniel in the midst of all of this, he goes on a 21-day fast and he asks the Lord, "What's going to happen next?" And the Lord sends Gabriel. Now Gabriel has been fighting the prince of the air at that time. And Michael the archangel had to come in and help him because Gabriel couldn't leave his post. So, but he tells Daniel, "Hey, listen. I'm supposed to be here the day you immediately went and purposed yourself for the Lord, but I was held up. But I'm here now 21 days later. I am here to explain to you what's going on." So, this is the scriptures that we're going to look at right now. I want you to see this in Daniel what Gabriel is saying to Daniel. It says 70 weeks. This is Daniel 9:24-27. 70 weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city. Now, I want you to see something here. I want you to understand the why God is doing what he's doing and what his purpose is. Now, I've been teaching on this for several weeks now about getting in line with the purpose of God and not the purpose of self. This is very, very, very important. So, we have to understand what God is doing because he's not done with the nation of Israel. And this is a sign. This is why I want you to see how the nation of Israel applies to what the bride of Christ is supposed to be looking for. This is a very important message for the times of today. So he says, "Seven weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal a vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy." Verse 25. Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the prince, there shall be seven weeks and 62 weeks. The street shall be built again and the wall even in troublesome times. And that's what I was just referring to with Nehemiah. He went and rebuilt the walls and the streets in this troublesome time while they were in captivity. But the king allowed him to do it because he was the cup bearer's king. Uh the cup bearer to the king and he was able to he had favor on him and he was able to make it. So this time that Gabriel is telling Ne uh uh Daniel, he's telling him this is what's going on and this is what's going to happen. So look at this. Let's continue on here. Even in troublesome times now in verse 26. And after the 62 weeks, Messiah shall be cut off, but not for himself. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with the flood until the end of the war desolations are determined. And then verse 27, then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week. But in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abomination shall be one who makes desolate even until the consummation which is determined is poured out on the desolate. Aha. Okay. First thing I need you to understand is the difference between what Jeremiah just spoke of and what Gabriel just gave Daniel. Keep in mind that the 70 years that Jeremiah talked about and prophesied for the nation of Israel was an exact 70 years. Daniel, the nation of Israel came out of captivity when the 70 years was up. That became complete. The book of Nehemiah records that. The book of Ezra records that. They record the families that came back to the nation of Israel. Very, very important to understand that that's different. So, Daniel, what Gabriel tells him is weeks. The word weeks. Now, that is a different word in the Hebrew. Let's go look up the definition of that because that's going to help us understand the calculations here. So the word weak in Daniel 9:24 and that whole section of what we just read in the Hebrew Strong's dictionary is H7620 is shaboua. It's properly passive participle of H7650 as a denominative of H7651 literally seven that is a week specifically of years 7 week sevenyear period is what this is about. So now we're talking weeks of seven years. So this is very very important that you understand that. Okay. So let's take a little bit of that calculations and understand it. Now my dad is going to uh elaborate further on this and he's going to show you the mystery behind it. All I'm doing is just scratching the surface because this message is already long as it is. So his 20page document, read it. Take your time. I read it yesterday and I was wow. It's powerful. So watch how this calculation works because Gabriel is telling Daniel when the Messiah is going to be born. This is very important. Daniel knew the nation of Israel knew what their Messiah would be born. Look at this. So 70 weeks, 70* 7 is 490 years. Now remember in Daniel 9:25 it says 7 and 62 weeks. So you take your seven times your seven, that's 49. Now, why? Okay, so the Bible breaks up the seven and the 62. My dad is going to elaborate on I didn't catch that. He did. You're going to want to see that. Initially, what I did was my math of totaling the whole number and everything. So, watch how this does it. So, 7 * 7 is 49. 62 * 7 is 434 years. 434 + 449 is 483 years. And again, I did my math that 62 + 7 is 69. 69 * 7 is 483 years. So comes to the same conclusion 483 years have happened to um punished that's punishment for the nation of Israel. Now it it also and remember these are the number of years to put an end to transgression, an end to iniquity. Oh, I think it's worth seeing that scripture again. Watch this because this is very important that you understand. So 490 years is set for this prophecy. So it says 70 weeks are determined. That's 490 years for your people and your holy city. And that is the nation of Israel and the city of Jerusalem. Now says to finish the transgression. What is the transgression? The fall of man. I've already taught all on the high level of this. You can go back into the past teachings of this. So to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation of in for iniquity, to bring in now, I'm going to tell you right now, Jesus did the first three there and he read it. He read this and he says to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity. And he stops there and he says this prophecy is fulfilled in your hearing. He was up in the synagogue. He opened the scroll. He read that prophecy. He said, "I'm completing that here and now." So that part of the prophecy has been fulfilled. Now, the second half hasn't. And remember, there's 490 years for this prophecy. So, the second half is to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting uh excuse me, to the second half is to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy. So that part still has to take place. So how do we deal with that? Because now we have to understand something here that is very very important that's going to lead us to today's event. So I'm going to conclude though Daniel's prophecy. I'm going to show you what happened here because you have to understand. So Gabriel gave this prophecy to Daniel. Daniel wrote it down and then Gabriel told him, "Seal it up because this is for the end times. This is for later times and knowledge will increase at that time." And that's exactly what's going on today. We're seeing scripture becoming revealing to us. Things are changing. We're we're seeing the understanding of things now. Notice there's a lot of teaching about the 70 weeks or excuse me, the 70 years that Jeremiah spoke of. There's teaching that says this 490 years is part of that. And it's not. It's separate. the the nation of Israel came out of captivity. That was captivity designed for the nation of Israel. They rebelled against God. They were sacrificing their kids, born children to fire. And I forget the name of the God that they were sacrificing to, but that's what they were doing. And you think our abortion, they doing it bad. I'm telling you, we're on the cusp right now of these end times about pro-choice, pro-life, and abortion. You guys don't want to go there. Look what happened to the nation of Israel. You just got to follow them and know that this was bad for them. God does not like abortion. He is for life, not death. Please understand that. Okay. So, Daniel calculated and knew. And in fact, Daniel could have wrote because he was in the witness when the decree came forward for the king to send Nehemiah to go rebuild the walls. That's day one of the 70 years that Jeremiah prophesied. So when the 70 years came to conclusion, Daniel was there. He says, "Here's day one of 490 years." And so when the 483rd year came, what happened? Let's go to Matthew. Matthew 2 1-2 says, "Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and have come to worship him." Daniel told the wise men and gave them the signs of what to look for, and they showed up. You will find that they found the baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. That is our whole Christmas story, right? Oh, you could see prophecy fulfilled. So, 483 years came, Messiah is born. So, and and you know Messiah takes 30 he lived 33 years. So, you you got to do the math, back it up a little bit. We don't know the dates and the times, but we know that the the prophecy was fulfilled for 483 years, which means there is seven years left. So, what's going on now? So, I want you to see this calculation one more time because I want you to understand the math. So, look at this. 70 weeks, 490 years. We have the 483 years until Messiah the prince was cut off. So actually at his crucifix at his crucifixion was 483 years. So now you take the 490 minus the 4 we got 70 years remaining. So I've taught on this already. What happened is when Jesus was crucified the veil was torn in two. So there's no more this holy place or little place. It's open for everyone because now we go through Jesus to get to God. We have to have the Jesus headship over us in our current time. Here we are in what's called the dispensation of grace. Jesus fulfilled the law and he took it from the nation of Israel. He says, "Okay, because the nation of Israel witnessed to the world and says, "Here's the ten commandments. If you abide by these ten commandments, you're considered righteous." That was how to get righteousness in the Old Testament. Well, Jesus, and by the way, the nation of Israel says, "Hey, there's a Messiah coming, too. We're looking for him. When he gets here, he's going to be the Messiah. He's coming as our king." Well, Daniel says, "Your Messiah will be cut off in 483 years." He could have put a date down because he knew the date because he saw it. So, he actually shared it with his wise men and they showed up. They were watching for the signs and they showed up and the nation of Israel says, "You're not our Messiah." And they rejected him. So, Jesus says, "Okay." He takes the representation of the godhead from him, puts it on himself, Jesus, and he says, "I'm going to represent to the world that I am the son of God." And so what he does is he tells his bride, he says, "Listen, anybody who wants to believe in me in me, anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Listen, you're my bride. You're going to now witness to my people, to the world." And he says, "Here, you represent me, and I will come back." And in the meantime, he stopped the clock on the nation of Israel. Okay? So everything pauses for the nation of Israel. And and if you read a lot of the the and I just did a teaching on this, the parables, you will see that Jesus is telling them, I mean, get as many people as you can to come in to the the dinner, to the the the reception, for the wedding. You got to come in. Come on. Get as many as you can. And this is what we're teaching today. But he's telling you there's an end because I still got seven years to complete for the nation of Israel. So what are we going to be doing now? Because now we got to take a look at our signs that we're seeing today. And let's not miss it like the nation of Israel did because there is a reason for this. So we know that a rapture is going to take place. We know that Paul talks about it. There's a mystery there that the people living who already died in Christ, they're living in this world still alive. I count myself as one of them because I'm dead to this world. This world means nothing to me. What means to me is Jesus. He is my godhead. He is my Lord and Savior. I put him first. To put him last or second is the spirit of Antichrist, which is self. When you put yourself above Jesus, you're rejecting Jesus. Now, I want you to see something. This seven-year period that's coming, and I'm going to get into the signs here. The seven-year period that's coming is for everyone who rejected Messiah Jesus Christ as the son of God. So anyone who put self or anything else above Jesus is going to go through that seven-year period. Why do I say this? Because Jesus is saying his righteous Daniel was a righteous man. He knew Noah was a righteous man. He knew seven days before they were righteous men of God. And the righteous will have a blessing because we're not going to have to go through that wrath. We don't have to go through it. That is not for us. that is not for those that put Jesus as their godhead first. Okay. So now, how do I know that this is going to happen and it's going to happen in our lifetime? I really want you to see today's signs, today's events, and watch what we're looking for. Because even though we don't know that day, nor an hour, which is a mystery, read my dad's book. He's going to get into the mystery of that. I want you to see how specific that is. A day is six. An hour is 60 minutes. A day is 24 hours. But we know how to tell time by weeks, months, and years. And we also know how to tell time by the seasons, and the festivals of the nation of Israel. So, I'm telling you that we're going to have a window, and we're going to know that window. Those that are righteous, this is not for the um unbeliever. And it will be confusing to them. They're not going to understand any of this. it's not going to make any sense. So, let's start looking at these sign these signs because I want you to understand what you're looking for and how it's applying today because this is going to blow your mind away. Really, really, really. We're going to start here in Matthew 24. We're going to read verses 4-14. I'm going to break it up as we go along. And Jesus answered and said to them, "Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ and will deceive many." Pause. and the Mormons come and visit us. So, they've visited us a couple times now, but it started a couple months ago, maybe a little less than. But anyways, this one kid, he's telling me it was great. Jesus came back when the Indians were here and showed himself, and that's what he's taking from the Book of Mormon. Now, the Book of Mormon is written by a man named Mr. Mormon. And it's it's like, okay, well, maybe the Spirit of Christ was there. Either way, Christ is the Holy Bible. You need to go back to the Holy Bible. And he totally ignored that. So he but he thinks he's believing in the Christ because Christ was there in America. That was his philosophy. I And I don't mean to laugh at him. He's a young man. And I'm hoping that the Lord opens his mind. I've been praying for these guys. But I just need you to understand this deception is here. How many people are falling for this stuff about well Christ is over there, Christ came here, Christ did that. We're already seeing it. This is already fulfilled in our time if not already hundreds of years before us. Even Paul had to deal with it and when he was writing it in his New Testament. I'm telling you, people were falling for this left and right. So, uh, and we'll deceive many. Verse six, and you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. see that you are not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." So, we now know, I mean, we've had World War I, World War II, we've had the Korean War, the Vietnam War, we've had the Ukraine and Russia war, and I know I didn't even talk about the Middle East, the um Iraq war, and uh I we've had wars and we've had rumors war. We've got the threat of China invading Taiwan. We've got the threat of Russia and and collaborating with China and India and all of his uh allies there about coming into they're very angry right now with the nation of America because why? Because America is allowing in gay marriage, gay pride and all of these things and Russia is like that's wrong. And you know he may I don't know if he believes in God. I don't know if Putin believes in God or not. I don't know that. But what I do know is that he still stands for his morals. I'm not saying that, you know, that that is a good thing. But God in Ezekiel 38 tells you, "I'm going to pull you by the hook of your mouth. I'm going to hook a hook in your mouth and pull you." Meaning that Putin is being pulled or Russia is being pulled to invade Israel because God's doing it, you know. So whatever triggers that moment and that and that's a sign we're looking for by the way that invasion that comes into or is going to reach the border of the nation of Israel and God is going to stop it and they're all going to die. You're going to see that. That is called the day of the Lord. That is significant. That's a sign as a believer with Jesus as our Godhead. You are seeing and looking for that sign as you see that happen. No, no, that's it. This is it. That once that happens, either the rapture happens right at that time, right in the middle, or I in my personal belief, and this is just my opinion based on what I read from the scriptures, is that I think the 144,000 need to be sealed and then we go because I believe that God will have us covered and protected during that entire time, like he did with Noah in the ark. They were covered and protected for seven days. And I also believe that um Rahab in the city of Jericho when she stood for the Israelites and the spies, they said just have a red string outside your window. Anyways, when all the walls of Jericho fell down, her walls stayed up and her and her entire family that she saved was in there and they were saved. So that all represents the body of Christ here at this time. So whenever this rapture takes place, it takes place in that window. So we're already seeing, you see these two signs here, rumors of wars, wars. You see, now we're going into verse uh seven uh and 8 and N here. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against n kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilence, and earthquakes in various places. And again, all these are the beginning of sorrows. And we're seeing that we're seeing now all these threats. you know, it bar we barely missed a World War III with the um uh the missile that went off in Poland and NATO coming in. So, you can see that this is all coming to play. Look at this. And there will be famines, pestilence, COVID 19, SARS, the uh H1N1, uh bird flu, pig flu, whatever you got, we've had them. And now they're talking about because all the ice is melting that there's uh pestilences or you know diseases from that time that it's going to probably wipe out mankind. This what they're saying. I'm telling you people are seeing these things come to fruition right in our time. And look again he says and these are the beginning of sorrows. This is just the start but you need to watch. Very important that you're watching. Watch. Let's continue on because Jesus brings us to a conclusion here. Says, "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake." You can see people are dying for Christ in especially in other countries. And you can see people nowadays our voice is being stopped and they're just starting with the voice. And they I don't know if you've noticed this, but if you watch mainstream media, they have gone to the point of either telling the world that they need to kill anyone who speaks about MAGA or Christc centered things. You can put it all into one basket. Uh or put us into re-education camps. That's what's going on now. And if you aren't paying attention, that's because America is under heavy propaganda. So if you you need to be watching the news and not America's news, you got to go out to other count's news. You got to look at India's news. You got to look at Jerusalem's Post news. You got to look at China's news, Taiwan's news. Look at their news and it will tell you because they're they're pointing out even Australia, they laugh at Biden's gaz all the time and they're just like, why is America even doing this? I mean, we're a joke right now, folks. And it's because we're under a heavy strong delusion from the Lord. But those of us that are watching are aware. So let's continue on and see what the Lord is talking about. He says, "Oh, and then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another." Oh my goodness. Is this such a big thing right now? This is huge. You know, I I watched a Tik Tok video of a guy who filmed a g a gal. It was a Uber driver. He filmed her. She was um throwing racial slurs at him. Obviously, it escalated to a point. That driver was offended. That person was offended and they were battling each other out. But that driver was filming it. He didn't pray. He didn't forgive. He didn't let go. Why put God first in the situation? You see what I'm talking about? This is very very important that we understand. I heard a fight last night from our neighbors. I'm laying here in bed. You know, I was just read watching some Tik Tok. I paused it. I hear this fight going on and I'm like, you know what? I come against a spirit of anger. And I speak the spirit of peace here. And I also said, I come against the spirit of offense because the guy was really offended. You can hear by the words he was saying. And within seconds, the fight stopped. I prayed and I gave it to the Lord. That is our responsibility as a believer in Christ. You should be doing that now because you see how Jesus says the spirit of offense is here. We're seeing that now. Look at verse 11. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. I'm telling you, just before the January 6th thing, I was watching Sid Roth and he had different prophets on and have your cake and eat it too. Trump will be president. Pray for these people. They need prayer. But that scriptures been fulfilled. That was fulfilled just for me watching that. But how many others are seeing this? And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. Oh my goodness. Defund the police. I just saw this morning in the news that a business in Portland had to shut down its stores because every time they they've had 15 thefts in the last few handful of months and the insurance only paid for three. And he go to live like this or continue our business like this, but he goes, I know whenever I get this expensive uh stuff in, it gets stolen. So he shut his doors. Now what else can he do? Lawlessness abounds and love will grow cold. You know, I had a coworker who felt sorry for her own son who and I was like, "Why don't you give him something?" No, me comes first. And that is exactly what she was like. I'm telling you, we're in nutty times. Okay, guys. These are the signs that Jesus talked about and they're being fulfilled right now. Daniel saw the signs. He knew what the prophets said. He knew what was coming for the nation of Israel and they still missed it. Are you going to miss the signs here? Look at this. Verse 13. But he who endures to the end shall be saved, and this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. The end. Now, we're talking about the end of this dispensation because the seven years has to happen. And then you're going to have a thousand-year millennium. and then the or millennia and then the end. Okay, so there is an I mean the Bible is specific of these dates. You got to get in there and read it. Read it. Now, let's continue on with what Jesus says because watch what he tells you here. This is very important. Now, learn this parable. Now, we're in verse 32 through35. Now, learn this parable from the fig tree. When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you see these signs, you know that it's near. Watch this. So you also when you see all these things, know that it is near at the doors. Assurely I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away. The time zone here changed. You saw all those signs. You see them now being fulfilled in our lifetime. That's it, folks. This generation shall not pass away. We're that generation. That's it. The the time has changed. And that means the rapture is coming. And that means that this is it. It's coming to an end. And it's coming now. This is the point where us believers are telling you, you got to get in the wedding. Come on. You got to get in. You got to believe now is the time to repent. Now is the time to put Jesus as your godhead first. Don't put self. Don't put, "Oh, I want to see my children walk down the the aisle of the wedding." My goodness, what's going to be better is Previous Next Home

FRAGMENTED SOULS The objective of Fragmented Souls is to teach believers about the reality of a fragmented soul, how it impacts spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being, and to reveal God’s provision for healing and restoration through His Word and Spirit. The lesson aims to lead Christians into wholeness of soul and spirit by rejecting lies, embracing the truth of God’s Word, and attaining singleness of heart to walk in righteousness before the Lord. FRAGMENTED SOULS Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of Fragmented Souls is to teach believers about the reality of a fragmented soul, how it impacts spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being, and to reveal God’s provision for healing and restoration through His Word and Spirit. The lesson aims to lead Christians into wholeness of soul and spirit by rejecting lies, embracing the truth of God’s Word, and attaining singleness of heart to walk in righteousness before the Lord. Synopsis: In Fragmented Souls, Pastor Marcos Marrero explores the depth of what it means for the human soul to be broken and divided, and how God restores it to wholeness. Beginning with Psalm 23:3—“He restores my soul”—the teaching examines how both the soul and the spirit dwell within the spiritual heart, the unseen core of human existence that influences attitudes, emotions, and will. Unlike the physical body, which may lose parts and still survive, the soul does not lose parts but rather becomes fragmented, separated from within, leading to spiritual weakness and oppression. Drawing from passages like Luke 4:18, Pastor Marcos explains that Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted and restore fragmented souls to their original, God-designed state. A fragmented soul occurs when it has been moved or motivated by lies rather than truth. Lies fragment the soul, but the truth of God’s Word heals, restores, and liberates. Thus, restoration begins with being born again by the Spirit of truth, which energizes the soul to let go of deception and embrace the freedom offered in Christ (John 8:32). The lesson also distinguishes between soul and spirit: the soul functions like an engine that awaits a spiritual current (inspiration or influence), while the spirit acts as the energy flow that drives it. When the spirit is energized by God’s Word, the soul is empowered to overcome fragmentation. However, when deceived by worldly lies, the soul remains weakened and oppressed. Pastor Marcos warns that the world system, rooted in deception, continually seeks to indoctrinate through false teachings such as evolution or man-made traditions, which keep souls divided. Healing requires discerning lies from truth, forgiving those who unintentionally passed down deceptions, and rejecting practices that perpetuate fragmentation. Scripture assures that those with a pure, undivided heart will receive blessing and righteousness from God (Psalm 24:3-5). Ultimately, restoration of the soul is achieved by fully relying on God’s promises and living in the truth of His Word. Fragmented Souls concludes with a call for believers to stand apart from deceit, idolatry, and worldly influences, so that their souls may be whole, strong, and fully aligned with God’s will, walking in the righteousness of salvation. Inspired Teaching: Psalm 23:3 “He restores my soul…” What is the soul and where does it reside within me? Does my soul need restoration? What is a fragmented soul? Psalm 86:11 “Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite (give me an undivided heart, singleness of heart) my heart to fear Your name." Within the Biblical context, the heart is the symbolic dwelling place for the spirit within us. And since our souls and our spirits are both spirits, they both dwell within us in a place called the heart, not our physical hearts. The physical human heart is strategically placed within our chest cavity, the torso, and from there it disseminates the oxygen rich life-giving substance that is in our blood. Our spiritual hearts are also located in a cavity somewhere within our torsos; however, it is an invisible place that is strategically located within us and from it flows the spiritual life and well being that comprises our persona, with its attitudes, intents, wills, and emotions. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Just like our human bodies can live and function without limbs, it appears, by the usage of the word whole by Paul, that our spirits and souls can exist and function as well while fragmented and weakened. Just like a human body can only achieve its full potential when all of its parts are present and functioning properly, it appears that it is the same way for our spirits and souls. They can only achieve their full potential when they are whole. However, unlike our human bodies that may be missing a limb or a physical part that they have to do without, it seems like our souls do not lose a part, but rather, their parts become separated or fragmented from one another. Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted (fragmented hearts, to heal means to restore to its original settings), to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” A brokenhearted condition, fragmented soul, causes those who are afflicted by it to be hindered in their walk. They become captives to their condition, blinded and unable to see clearly where their malady originates from, and therefore become oppressed by their circumstances. The good news of the Gospel is that fragmented souls can be healed! 1 Peter 1:9 “Receiving the end (goal) of your faith—the salvation (deliverance, healing, restoration) of your souls.” Not only can our fragmented souls be healed, but our goal should also be in life to attain singleness of heart. So that we can fully comprehend what is the fear or respect for our Lord’s name, which is the beginning of wisdom. How do we do it? Let me first deal with the difference between our soul and our spirit, although our emphasis in this lesson is the fragmented soul, it is important for us to know how the two interact. Unlike a fragmented soul, where its integrity is breached and its parts become segregated, I believe that the spirit operates more in the sense of an energy flow. A spirit with a very low flow of energy cannot energize the human soul to the point of being able to restore it. A spirit that has a very strong energy flow makes it a lot easier for a fragmented soul to be restored. The word for spirit, as in your whole spirit is the Greek word Pneuma from where we get the term pneumatic tool from. Pneuma means spirit, a blast or a current of air that drives something. The word for soul, as in your whole spirit, soul is the Greek word translated as Psychic, from where we get the word, psychology, the study of the human personality or mind. It means spirit as well, air/spirit that is static and waiting to be moved by a current or inflow. A rudimental way of saying it, our souls are like an invisible motor that runs on blasts or currents of air/spirit. When a person is influenced or inspired by something, that person is receiving an inflow that is moving the soul, an invisible inspiration or spiritual infusion. A soul becomes fragmented when it realizes that it has been motivated by a lie. A lie is a spiritual force that drives people away from the truth. John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Jesus told us that the words that He speaks to us are spirit and that they are life, and that by believing them, His words, our souls can be made free from the power of the lies that fragmented the soul to begin with. John 6:63 “It is the Spirit (Pneuma) who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” In order to heal the fragmented soul our spirits have to be born again. Born of the Spirit of truth, for it is the truth of the Word of God that is able to infuse into our spirits the level of energy required to then motivate the soul to let go of the lies that divide it. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living (Zoe in Greek, and it means life giving and life sustaining, like spiritual blood) and powerful (Energea in Greek, and it means energy), and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” So that it is the truth of the Word of God that energizes the born-again spirit, which in turn motivates the soul to seek deliverance from oppression and bondage. It happens as soon as the soul’s spiritual eyes are opened to the truth that it has been fragmented by the lies it was told. Everything in this world system is based on a lie. Romans 1:24-25 “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts (fragmented their souls), to dishonor their bodies (caused their bodies to malfunction) among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Our bodies malfunction as the result of our souls becoming fragmented, and our souls become fragmented when we reject the truth of the Word of God and end up falling for the lie. The fragmented soul can only be healed and restored as the result of an individual rejecting the lie that it believed, and embracing the truth of the Word of God, which is what spiritual discernment is all about, seeing our true condition in the mirror of His revealed Word to us. Our children as well as the rest of us face constant indoctrination attempts from the purveyors of the lie. In schools as well as through television programs we are constantly bombarded with the notion of evolution. You hear them say frequently that millions of years ago this happened and that took place, like they were there you know. These are the same people that can not even get the recent historical events right. I can disprove the theory of evolution very easy, if as they often say that we humans are the parasites that have infested this world, then why are they still here if they really believe that? In their pious pomp would they not have castrated themselves and saved the world for the sake of the animals that they worship? They don’t really believe that. They just want us to believe it so that they can feel superior. Galatians 5:12 “As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!” NIV Once our spiritual eyes are opened to their mischievousness, for they do not really want to liberate people with knowledge of the truth, but rather their aim is to imprison people with their lies; then we are free to receive the liberating truth of God’s Word that make us wise. On a personal level, we have to deal with the lies that have been perpetrated against us by the people that we knew and who were responsible for our upbringing. With the grace of God to aid us, we need to realize that many of the lies that we were subjected to as we were growing up, were non-intentional on the part of those who taught us to follow the ways of this world. For the most part they did not know what they were doing to us. They were just teaching us what they had been taught in many instances. We need to forgive in order to receive the knowledge that leads to our deliverance from the institutionalized lies of this world system. Why is it necessary to rid ourselves of man-made traditions that seem harmless even to some of us today? Anything that aided the fragmenting of the soul will keep the person whose soul was fragmented from receiving the goal of their faith, the deliverance of their souls. Psalm 24:3-5 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure (undivided) heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.” The word sworn literally means to affirm oneself. Within the context, sworn deceitfully, it simply means to continue practicing and believing something that is not truth. Those who continue to practice the lies that this world system espouses will not receive blessings from the Lord. The spiritual blessings that empower us to walk in the righteousness of the salvation that He has granted to us by His mercy and grace. To make our souls whole again we must rely totally on the promises offered to us by God Himself within His Word. When our souls can truly and confidently declare what our last verses of Scripture for this lesson say, then you will know that your soul has been healed to the max. Psalm 26:4-5 “I have not sat with idolatrous mortals, nor will I go in with hypocrites. I have hated the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked.” Previous Next Home
