THE DISPENSATION OF THE FULLNESS OF THE TIMES To explain the biblical concept of dispensations—periods in which God deals with humanity under distinct rules and responsibilities—while highlighting the climactic purpose of the “dispensation of the fullness of the times” (Ephesians 1:10). The teaching aims to trace humanity’s journey through the seven dispensations revealed in Scripture, culminating in the Kingdom Age, when Christ will unite all things in Himself, bringing final judgment, restoration, and eternal rest. THE DISPENSATION OF THE FULLNESS OF THE TIMES Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: To explain the biblical concept of dispensations—periods in which God deals with humanity under distinct rules and responsibilities—while highlighting the climactic purpose of the “dispensation of the fullness of the times” (Ephesians 1:10). The teaching aims to trace humanity’s journey through the seven dispensations revealed in Scripture, culminating in the Kingdom Age, when Christ will unite all things in Himself, bringing final judgment, restoration, and eternal rest. Synopsis: The study begins by defining dispensations as divine epochs in which God governs humanity under unique conditions. The first dispensation, Innocence, was given to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, marked by a single commandment. After their fall, humanity entered the dispensation of Conscience, where self-awareness of sin led to corruption and ultimate judgment in the flood. Subsequent dispensations followed: Human Government — beginning after the flood, marked by the scattering at Babel, still continuing in today’s global political structures. Promise — initiated with God’s covenant with Abraham, which laid the foundation for Israel and the coming of Messiah. Law — delivered through Moses to Israel, pointing to humanity’s need for redemption. Grace — inaugurated through Christ’s death and resurrection, bringing salvation to Jews and Gentiles alike. The teaching emphasizes that unfinished dispensations—Human Government, Law, and Grace—will converge in the last days. Their simultaneous reappearance in modern times (Israel restored as a nation, the rise of the United Nations, and the renewed activity within the Church) signals preparation for the “dispensation of the fullness of the times.” In this period, Christ will gather all things in heaven and earth into Himself, and all dispensations will face their final judgment. The seventh and final dispensation, the Kingdom Age (Rest), will be the reign of Christ for one thousand years, fulfilling God’s plan of restoration. Just as Peter was judged and restored in the same settings of his failure, so too will each dispensation be judged and resolved before God establishes His everlasting kingdom. The lesson closes with a sobering call to discern current events—such as America’s waning constitutional strength—as part of prophecy’s unfolding. Believers are urged to remain prayerful and steadfast, anticipating the soon-coming consummation when Christ unites all creation under His rule. Inspired Teaching: Ephesians 1:10 “That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.” What is the dispensation of the fullness of the times? Through the centuries theologians have discovered that God deals with humanity through differing epochs of time called dispensations. Each dispensation of time differs from another by the rules under which God deals with humanity in each unique dispensation of time. Theologians also figure out that there are seven such dispensations revealed in Scripture, with the last dispensation being the dispensation of rest, also known as the Kingdom Age, when Jesus will rule and reign over the entire world and all of its inhabitants for one thousand years. There were only two people under the jurisdiction of the first dispensation, Adam and Eve, and their time in the Garden is called the dispensation of innocence, and it was the first dispensation, and there was only one rule that applied to them while in Paradise: Genesis 2:16-17 “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, ‘Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.’” After Adam and Eve sinned by disobeying God’s command not to eat of the fruit that would cause them to become self-aware, they were driven out of the Garden Paradise and into a different place and dispensation. Although we are not told how long Adam and Eve were in the Garden before they sinned, we know that the next dispensation that they were put under lasted 1,656 years, and ended with Noah’s flood. This new dispensation was called the dispensation of conscience because Adam and Eve and their descendants became very much aware of their nakedness that they inherited through Adam and Eve’s disobedience. Genesis 6:5 “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Once man became self-aware of his sinful nature and realized the hopelessness of his situation, eventually he gave himself to think of only evil continually, and became in their consciences worthless to God, who then had no choice but to swiftly destroy them. In both judgments, the dispensation of innocence and the dispensation of conscience, the judgment of God was final. What that means is that we can never come to God again in innocence or in conscience, in innocence because all the descendants of Adam and Eve are conceived and born in the consequences of their sin which is death, we are born mortals. And in conscience because our carnal minds are enmity to the Word of God. Romans 8:7 “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.” So that through Adam and Eve we’ve not only inherited corrupt bodies that lost their innocence, but we also inherited a corrupted mind that can never be brought under the jurisdiction of the Word of God. 1 Corinthians 2:16 “...But we have the mind of Christ.” Just in case some of you were wondering about our present estate of mind. Our sinfulness is blotted out by the blood of Jesus and our old mind set is replaced by the mind of Christ which is given to us at the time when we become born again. Romans 8:6 “For to be carnally minded is death (because of Adam and Eve’s disobedience to the Word of God), but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (because the words of Jesus are Spirit and they are life).” Now our next dispensation was not judged completely when they rebelled against God, for its final day of judgment has been reserved for the day of the dispensation of the fullness of the times, which is where this lesson is headed, but first let me enumerate the rest of the dispensations so that we can put them all into the proper context. Genesis 11:8-9 “So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel (means confusion), because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.” After the flood of Noah’s day, all the waters that were in and around the poles of the earth froze immediately, leaving the water levels of the oceans a lot lower than they are today, and causing a land bridge between the continents. It was God’s plan for humans after the flood to migrate to all the continents and fill the earth before the majority of the ice melted, which that happened during the days of Peleg when the land bridges that connected the continents were divided, buy submersion or by the melting away of the ice that connected some of the land masses. But mankind had other plans, they wanted to make a name for themselves, so they congregated together in rebellion against God’s command, and decided to build a tower that reached to the heavens, but God just simply confused their languages so that they could not communicate with one another, and so they scattered through the continents as was God’s original purpose, but God did not fully judge them at that time. Their dispensation was called human government, or what the book of Revelation calls, the kingdoms of this world, and they are very much still around today, for their dispensation has not yet been brought to a close. Today the European Union headquarters is a building that looks like an unfinished tower of Babel, for after all it will be the revived Roman empire whom prophecy foretells will give all its power to the antichrist to face Jesus during the final battle of Armageddon. Since mankind could not save themselves in innocence, or through their own consciences, or even when the power of human government did not bring about obedience to the commandments of God, that was when God decided to introduce His Promise. When the dispensation of promise is completed it will be known as the dispensation of the fullness of the times, for its at that time that God will bring to a close all the yet to be finally judged dispensations. Genesis 12:7 “Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, ‘To your descendants I will give this land.’ And there he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.” When God entered into a covenant with Abraham it was a two-fold covenant, a covenant that spans two dispensations. For out of that covenant comes the nation of Israel and their deliverer, Moses, through whom the dispensation of law was given. And the promise of salvation for the Gentile nations was given through the dispensation of grace by the Lord Himself in His Gospel. John 1:17 “For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 3:1-2 “For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles—if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you.” So here is a list of the seven dispensations: • The dispensation of innocence. • The dispensation of conscience. • The dispensation of human government. • The dispensation of promise. • The dispensation of law. • The dispensation of grace. That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ. And after all the above dispensations are finally completed, then all the believers that come out of every dispensation will be resurrected each in their time and ushered into the final dispensation of God’s rest, to rule and reign with Christ for one thousand years. The seventh is the dispensation of rest, or what will probably be called at that time the Kingdom Age. Now why are all these unfinished dispensations relevant to us today? Scripture teaches us that before God brings something or someone into the judgment, he restores them into the condition that they were in when they first rebelled, so that we know for a fact that the dispensation of the fullness of the times judgment cannot begin until all the yet to be judged dispensations appear together at the same time in history, since we also know that God is going to judge them all in the same period of time. The judgment and restoration of Peter gives us an example of how God will bring about the judgment of the dispensations. Peter got saved after he witnessed the miracle of the catch of fish in his net, which he lowered into the sea at the command Jesus, even after fishing all night and catching nothing. Peter rejected Jesus while hanging around a fire just trying to keep warm the night that Jesus was arreste. He was confronted by a girl who accused him of being one of Jesus’ disciples. John chapter 21 tells us that Jesus appeared to Peter again after he was fishing all night and did not catch anything, Jesus tells him to cast the net on the right side of the boat and a miracle happens again, the net is full of fish. Then when Peter drags the net to shore he finds that Jesus had kindled a fire of coals with fish and bread on it. So that all of the elements are in place to bring Peter back in his soul to the places of where he experienced his salvation and to the place where his rejection took place as well, then Jesus asks Peter a very simple question, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? Peter was not only judged there, but he was restored there as well. We witnessed in the twentieth century something that had never happened before in the history of mankind, the dispensations of human government, law and grace all came together for the first time in the same form in which they were after God had dispersed them. The Jews who were driven from the Holy Land after as a nation they rejected Jesus as their Messiah, were once again restored as a nation back to the land where they were driven from 1,900 years ago, while still rejecting Jesus as their Messiah as a nation, so that the dispensation of law which came through the nation of Israel and it must be judged in the nation of Israel was set in place awaiting their final judgment. The kingdoms of this world who have been scattered since the days when Nimrod was cut to pieces for his rebellion against God over 4,000 year ago, came together once again as one group in the middle of the twentieth century as the United Nations, where all their many languages can be translated instantly and a speaker can be understood by all the different nations no matter what language he speaks. It was also in the middle of the twentieth century that the apostolic revival began to take roots within the church once again. So that the three dispensations whose judgment it is yet to be finalized are presently in their prophetic places, Israel, the church, and the United Nations, all awaiting for the fulfillment of God’s promised conclusion to be meted out to them at their appointed time. Matthew 25:31-34 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.’” I believe that the last piece that has to fall into place before the final judgment begins is the United States government. Our constitution has been a great hurdle that those who longed for the revived Roman empire and the new world order have not been able to overcome until now. After years of brainwashing the American populace, through all kinds of mediums, into having an open disregard for the constitution and the values that it fosters, this is the closest that they have come to succeeding, for our present day government is in total disregard for constitutional law and it is not being held accountable for it. If America does not recover from this evil that has befallen it, and I do not see any of our leaders calling for a nation wide repentance, then our time here on this earth is pretty much over I believe. Let us continue to pray for His preservation for those of us who believe. Previous Next

THE WORK OF GOD To help believers understand that the true work of God is to believe in Jesus Christ, the One He sent, and to recognize their immense worth in God’s eyes despite worldly systems and scientific ideologies that devalue human life. Through faith in Christ, believers are delivered from worthlessness and become profitable, purposeful, and empowered to serve God and others. THE WORK OF GOD Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: To help believers understand that the true work of God is to believe in Jesus Christ, the One He sent, and to recognize their immense worth in God’s eyes despite worldly systems and scientific ideologies that devalue human life. Through faith in Christ, believers are delivered from worthlessness and become profitable, purposeful, and empowered to serve God and others. Synopsis: In The Work of God, Pastor Marcos Marrero highlights John 6:29 where Jesus defines the ultimate work of God as believing in Him whom the Father sent. Pastor Marcos contrasts this truth with modern science’s attempts to diminish humanity’s significance by promoting evolution and human worthlessness, thereby detaching mankind from accountability to God. Drawing from Psalm 8, Isaiah 48, and the story of Onesimus in Philemon, the teaching emphasizes that although humanity may seem insignificant in comparison to the vastness of creation, we are of great value to God—so valuable that Jesus gave His life to redeem us. Worthlessness is a lie of the world system, designed to control and oppress. But deliverance through Christ restores worth, peace, and righteousness, making every believer profitable in God’s kingdom. Pastor Marcos also recounts Hannah’s bold cry, “I am not worthless!” from 1 Samuel, showing how faith transforms barren emptiness into fruitfulness. He stresses that the work of God requires personal belief in Jesus, surrendering to Him as Savior and Lord, entering a covenant of servanthood, and breaking free from generational curses. This lesson closes with powerful covenant prayers for salvation, surrender, service, and deliverance, offering believers a way to renounce worthlessness once and for all. By faith in Christ, we are redeemed, valuable, and empowered to live with divine purpose, bringing glory to God. Inspired Teaching: John 6:29 “Jesus answered and said to them, ‘This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.’” Perhaps the greatest disagreement between the Bible and today’s science is the import and position of man within the creation. As we look out into the vastness of deep space, and see the enormity of the cosmos, and as we try to fathom the distances that we cannot comprehend, it is easy for us to see mankind as rather irrelevant within the immensity of the creation, but we are not the first to feel that way. Psalm 8:3-4 “When I consider Your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit (give attention to or care for) him?” If we consider humanity by its size, or percentage, in relation with the rest of creation it is easy to see how one could ask the question, What is man? We could also ask the question, what is gold? Or what are diamonds? Don’t we move tons and tons of ore from deep out of the ground in order to extract a miniscule percentage of that which is very valuable to society? After all we move mountains to extract piles, as long as the commodity that we are seeking pays the cost of the investment and produces a profit in return. Isaiah 48:17 “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go.” The answer to the question what is man in the eyes of God? Is that we are extremely rare, in relation with the vastness of the creation, and therefore very valuable to Him. Science has spent and continues to spend incredulous amounts of money and effort to find life, any kind of life, somewhere in the universe to prove that we are not as rare and therefore not as valuable to God as the Bible teaches that we are. Why is that? In order to answer that question, we need to understand the difference between profit/worth, and worthlessness. If science could prove somehow that man was not created after God’s image, then they can reason that there is nothing that it is owed to God by man, if we just evolved. If you find something extremely valuable by the curve side, can you assume that it has no owner and thereby take it for yourself? That is why, I believe, science devalues human life by the teaching of evolution, so that they can take credit and own it if you will, we made ourselves this smart they say, without God, and by doing that they devalue human life to the point that ruthless dictators, religious zealots, and roving gangs, can continue to murder and destroy the beauty of human life without the feeling of owing anything for their crimes. You cannot have deliverance until you renounce worthlessness. The world system promotes human worthlessness so that they can control the masses, a human who values his or her own life, will not give themselves over to be exploited by others as easily. Philemon 10-11 “I appeal to you for my son Onesimus (worthless), whom I have begotten while in my chains, who once was unprofitable (worthless) to you, but now is profitable to you and to me.” Onesimus was a runaway slave that once belonged to Philemon who fled to Rome where he was converted under Paul’s ministry. Remember our opening Scripture where it declared that the work of God is for us humans to believe in Jesus whom God sent? Paul declares that the once worthless slave, who owed his name to the fact that he was a bad investment for his owner, after receiving Christ as his savior has now become profitable not just to Paul who led him to the Lord, but to Philemon as well, for now he is not a slave anymore to him, but a brother in the Lord who is profitable to all. Here is how the Lord teaches us to be profitable. Isaiah 48:18 “Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness (value) like the waves of the sea.” What makes us so valuable to God is the price that Jesus paid to redeem us from our sins. God commands us to believe in Jesus for that is the only way that we can ever become profitable, to us, to others, and to God. That is why the ministry of deliverance is so effective, for it is a tool that God uses to remove the spirit of worthlessness from those who accept Jesus Christ as their savior and Lord, and that God also uses to fill them with a brand new purpose for their lives, which they now live in service to others as unto the Lord. 1 Samuel 1:16 “Do not consider your maidservant a wicked (daughter of Belial/worthlessness) woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now.” Eli, the high priest, thought that Hannah was drunk as she was pouring her heart before God because she was barren and thereby considered worthless by many, when Eli accused her of being drunk, she cried out what in our present-day vernacular would be, I am not worthless! In a society that did not considered woman too highly, and faced with the fact that she was barren and therefore worthless to her husband’s progeny, accused by the priest of being drunk in church, yet this courageous woman dared to believe in a God who values human life, and offered Him the seed of her womb that was empty in the natural, but that by faith was so full of life. You see my friends, all that God needs in the natural is an empty womb, or an empty heart, but only if they fill their emptiness with the Spirit of Truth and thereby their void is filled with faith in the One who always keeps His promises. Once she cried out, I am not worthless, the high priest had no choice but to bless her with the peace of God, that Jesus promises to all who believe. 1 Samuel 1:17 “Then Eli answered and said, ‘Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him.’” She went on to conceive and bore a son whom she lent to the Lord for life, she named him Samuel, and after that she had more children that the Lord blessed her with and that she raised herself. In her prayer of exaltation to the Lord she said this: 1 Samuel 2:1 “...My heart rejoices in the Lord; my horn (strength) is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation (deliverance).” Do you want to rid yourself once and for all of the spirit of worthlessness? You can do so right now, but there is the work of God that you will have to do: you are going to have to believe in Him whom He sent. Here are four prayers that you can pray. First you make Jesus your Savior, then you make Him Lord over your life, then you enter into a covenant with Him, a covenant to serve Him for the rest of your life. Then pray the prayer that breaks generational curses and get rid of worthlessness once and for all. All you need to bring is a broken spirit and a contrite heart, and God will fill you with His peace and will guide your steps forevermore. COVENANT OF SALVATION This prayer is to make Jesus your savior. Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Prayer (say this out loud): Father in heaven I confess Jesus as my Lord and savior and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I believe that now I am born again, in accordance to your word. Amen! COVENANT OF SURRENDER This prayer is to make Jesus Lord over your life. II Timothy 2:19-21 “Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’ and, ‘Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.’ In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.” Prayer (say this out loud): Lord Jesus I belong to you and I commit myself to turn away from wickedness. Lord search me to see if there be any wicked thing in me. Expose and remove everything in my life that will hinder you from total lordship over my life. Grant me the strength dear Lord Jesus to endure the purification fire. I pray that through your testing you will find in me, genuine faith. Amen! THE SERVANT’S COVENANT This is prayer is a petition to become a humble servant. John 12:26 “Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.” Prayer (say this out loud): Father in heaven I surrender all positions in life to you, in order to become Jesus’ faithful servant and to follow Him. This body is not my own, but it has been purchased with the blood of Jesus. I want to be in your perfect will Lord Jesus, let everything that I do bring glory and honor to you dear Lord. Teach me to be humble, train me to be your faithful servant. Amen! PRAYER TO REMOVE GENERATIONAL CURSES Prayer (say this out loud): Our Father who are in heaven, creator of heaven and earth, God the judge of all; in the name of Jesus your only Son I enter into Your heavenly court and publicly repent of all of my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness in the Name of Jesus. Apply dear Lord I pray, the atoning blood of Jesus over all the sins in my life and the sins in my ancestor’s life that resulted in a curse. I repent of all of our disobediences and rebellions committed against Your Word. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of perversion, lust, cheating, lying, adultery, fornication, mistreatment of others, uncleanness, filthiness, wantonness, lewdness, and every perverted thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of false religion, cults, reading of horoscopes, idolatry, witchcraft, divination, all occult involvements, seditions, heresies, sorcery, dissentions, and every demonic thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of indecision, compromise, hatred, contentions, envy, gossip, murder, hostility towards others, hostilities towards my self, ill will towards others, ill will towards my self, and every divisive thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of malfunction, failures, laziness, lack of responsibility, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, drunkenness, intoxication, addictions, dependencies, and every compromising thing that was connected to our fallen nature. According to 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Now that I’ve confessed all my sins, I ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing from all my unrighteousness and the unrighteousness passed to me through the iniquity of all my ancestor’s. Deliver me Lord and cleanse me by the power of the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I now take authority over the devil’s accusations against me. In accordance with the Word of God, I break and condemn any and every curse upon my life in the name of Jesus. I break all curses of poverty, lack, debt, destruction, sickness, death and vagabond. I break all curses on my marriage, family, children, and relationships. I break curses of rejection, pride, rebellion, lust, hurt, incest, rape, Ahab, Jezebel, fear, insanity, madness, and confusion. In the Name that is above every name, the Name of Jesus, I now break all curses affecting my finances, my mind, my sexual character, my emotions, my will, my intellect, and all my relationships. In the Name of Jesus I now break every hex, jinx, spell, and spoken curse over my life and my family’s life. I break every fetter, shackle, chain, cord, habit, and cycle that is the result of a curse. According to Galatians 3:13 I have been redeemed from the curse of the law by the sacrifice that Jesus offered on my behalf. Father in heaven I now exercise my faith in the blood that Jesus offered for my redemption, and I loose myself and my descendants from any and every curse. I claim forgiveness through the blood that Jesus offered for my sins and the sins of my fathers. All of my sins have been forgiven, so I now renounce all the works of Satan and their effect over my life, and my family’s lives, and I loose myself from every curse that came as a result of our disobedience and rebellion to the Word of God. I exercise my faith now in the Word of God: Romans 10:9-10, and I make confession with my mouth of the salvation, deliverance, healing and restoration that I believe in my heart is now mine, because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Therefore I confess that Abraham’s blessings are mine. I confess that I am blessed and not curse. I confess that I am the head and not the tail. I confess that I am above and not beneath. I confess that I am blessed coming in and going out. I confess that I am blessed by God, and what God has blessed cannot be curse. In the Name of Jesus and by the power of His shed blood, I now command spirits of Rejection, Hurt, Bitterness, Unforgiveness, Bondage, Torment, Death, Destruction, Suicide, Fear, Lust, Perversion, Mind Control, Witchcraft, Poverty, Lack, Debt, Confusion, Double-mindedness, Sickness, Infirmity, Pain, Divorce, Separation, Strife, Contention, Depression, Sadness, Loneliness, Self-Pity, Self-Destruction, Self-Rejection, Anger, Rage, Wrath, Anguish, Vagabond, Abuse, Addiction, Insanity, Worthlessness, and the rest to COME OUT NOW in the Name of Jesus my Deliverer, and be forever gone, because all of your rights to torment me and my family have now been removed. Dear Father in Heaven, in the Name of Jesus Your only begotten Son, I now thank you for setting me and making me free from every curse and from every unclean spirit that had operated in my life as a result of curses. Thank You Jesus! Amen. Previous Next

CHILDREN AND THE RAPTURE To examine the prophetic timeline revealed in Daniel’s “Seventy Weeks,” the implications of God’s Doomsday Clock, and specifically how the rapture and the Day of the Lord affect children—both those with believing parents and those without—while highlighting God’s justice, mercy, and covenantal protection of the innocent. CHILDREN AND THE RAPTURE Pastor Marcos Marrero October 14, 2023 Objective: To examine the prophetic timeline revealed in Daniel’s “Seventy Weeks,” the implications of God’s Doomsday Clock, and specifically how the rapture and the Day of the Lord affect children—both those with believing parents and those without—while highlighting God’s justice, mercy, and covenantal protection of the innocent. Synopsis: This teaching begins with Gabriel’s prophecy in Daniel 9:24, which sets forth the seventy weeks (490 years) decreed for Israel and Jerusalem, described as a kind of “Doomsday Clock.” While the prophecy focuses on the Jewish people, its implications extend to the entire world, culminating in either the conversion of sinners or their judgment. The crucifixion of Christ created a prophetic “variable,” pausing the clock until the final seven years—the Day of the Lord. God’s patience, as explained in 2 Peter 3:9-10, is rooted in His desire to save as many as possible before the expiration of grace. At the rapture, the dead in Christ will rise first, followed by the living believers, while those who rejected the gospel will face the seven-year tribulation. A pressing question arises: what happens to children, especially those below the age of accountability? For children of believers, 1 Corinthians 7:14 assures that they are sanctified and holy, and therefore will be taken in the rapture. For children of unbelievers, God’s righteousness and justice come into view. Scriptures such as Habakkuk 3:2 (“In wrath remember mercy”) and Revelation 7 & 14 reveal that God will seal and protect 144,000 innocent children, symbolic of all who are left behind but under His care. These sealed ones are described as pure, undefiled, and belonging to the Lord, serving as firstfruits that sanctify all children who remain. The teaching emphasizes that during the first half of the Day of the Lord (1,260 days), children will be spared torment, then taken to be with the Lord before the second half begins. In that latter period, no births, pregnancies, or conceptions will occur (Hosea 9:11, 16), ensuring no child is subjected to the reign of the Antichrist or forced to face the mark of the beast. Ultimately, this message underscores God’s extraordinary lengths to protect the innocent and His ongoing mercy extended to all through the gospel. While the present age of grace remains open, anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:9-10), ensuring not only their own salvation but also the sanctification of their children. The teaching closes by reminding believers that God’s mercy and righteousness extend to “children’s children” (Psalm 103:17), affirming both His justice and His tender care for the youngest among humanity. Inspired Teaching: In Daniel 9:24, God through His holy angel Gabriel reveals to Daniel the prophet what through man’s perspective can only be described as a Doomsday Clock. Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks (490 years total) are determined for your people (Israel) and for your holy city (Jerusalem), to finish transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.” (Parenthesis, italics and bold added by me for emphasis.) Although the revelation is directed to Daniel’s people, the Jewish nation and their holy city Jerusalem, it has tremendous implications for the rest of the world. In order for God to make an end of sins and to bring in everlasting righteousness, He would have to do things that affect the entire world. There are only two ways to end all sins; God either converts all the sinners and give them sinless everlasting new bodies so that they sin no more; or He gets rid of all the sinners who do not want to convert, by killing them all. That is what has to happen before you can have everlasting righteousness in the entire world at the end of the (490) four hundred and ninety years. This is why I refer to this as a Doomsday Clock. These 490 years would have concluded on or about the thirty-seventh year of our Lord, which teaches us not to set up dates even when the numbers match perfectly. God attaches variables to prophecy that only He can know. In the case of Daniel’s vision we can read the variable. Daniel 9:26 “And after the sixty-two weeks (total of 483 years) Messiah shall be cut off…” When we add all the numbers in verse twenty-five, they add up to 483 years, about the year thirty in our present calendar, which was when Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead on the third day; after introducing to the world the new covenant of grace. What happened? Why did God introduce this variable? We can learn two things from this variable. Number one, if God had brought His final judgment upon the world back then, most of the people of the world would have perished, for the majority of them had no way of knowing God’s plan of salvation or His purposes for ending life as we know it. Number two; we learned that it is going to take God seven years to carry out His final purpose for all humanity according to what God revealed to Daniel in His Doomsday Clock. 2 Peter 3:9-10 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise (to put an end to all sin), as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us (willing to wait for His plan of salvation to be proclaimed to all the nations, to save as many as possible), not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come…” Here we see why God opted to wait, and why His Son had to die for our sins. So, He could save as many as will accept God’s offer of grace. But God’s offer of grace has an expiration day, and when that day is reached, His Day of Judgment will come, which is referred to by Peter as the Day of the Lord, and then the end of all things will come without delay. The Day of the Lord will be a period of seven years. Each year will have 365 days. How do we know that? The first 483 years were regular years, so the last seven years will be the same length as the first 483, otherwise, if you use prophetic years (a 360 days year), you end up 30 days short of the 490 years total. When the Lord said 490 years are determined, He meant that all of them in their entirety must be fulfilled, for every single day of the Day of the Lord is numbered. Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Those who died in Christ will be raised from the dead before the Day of the Lord begins. Also, all the believers who are alive and remain will be raptured immediately after the resurrection. But those who ignored the Gospel will be left behind, and will have to live through the final hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Revelation 3:10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” What happens to all the children who are under the age of accountability before and during that terrible Day of the Lord? The good news for us believers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that all the children of believers who are under the age of accountability are sanctified, even if they only have one parent who is a believer—they are holy— therefore they will be raptured along with the rest of us believers. 1 Corinthians 7:14 “For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the (believing) wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the (believing) husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.” Paul is dealing with the dynamics of a married couple, one who is a believer and the other is not, and he is saying that the one who believes makes the unbelieving partner sanctified for the sake of their children—those who are under the age of accountability—so that during the rapture the children and the believing parent will be taken up, and the unbelieving parent will be left behind, for their sanctification is only for the sake of the children’s safety. Now then, what happens to the children who have no believing parents? The answer to this fundamental question can only be answered through God’s system of righteousness and justice which are the foundation of God’s throne. Psalm 97:2 “Clouds and darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.” This psalm is written within the context of the rapture. Psalm 97:6 “The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory.” Revelation 6:14-17 “Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” Even though the Day of the Lord is a Day of Wrath for all the inhabitants of the earth who ignored God’s offered of grace and are left behind, those innocent children who are not raptureed have no say in their parent’s rebellion to the Word of God, but still they will be left behind to endure the Great Day of the Lord. How is God’s righteousness and justice metered out to these children in the time of God’s wrath? Habakkuk 3:2 “…In wrath remember mercy.” Revelation 9:4 “They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.” We see in Revelation chapter seven that before the Day of the Lord is allowed to begin, the resurrection and rapture must take place; for God will spare those who have accepted His offer of grace from wrath. But what about the innocent children who have no parental protection? God will seal 144 thousand boys, (12,000) twelve thousand from each tribe of Israel who will represent all the innocent children that are left behind on the earth after the rapture. All the innocent children will be sealed—protected—from the calamity that follows. After the fifth trumpet sounds, all the demons of hell are released on the earth to torment all those who ignore and reject God’s offer of grace; to show them that hell and all its torments are real. But it would be unfair to subject innocent children to these torments; those who have not reached the age of accountability and are there by no fault of their own. Look carefully at our next Scripture’s description of who are those who have been sealed! Revelation 14:4 “These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.” Firstfruits means: to be the primary part of a larger offering. James 1:18 “Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.” The apostles and the early Christians were a kind of firstfruits offering for those of us who have been saved centuries after their sacrifices were accepted by God. In the same manner the one hundred and forty-four thousand that will be offered as a firstfruits offering, will sanctify and protect all the innocent children that will be left behind in the world after the rapture. Here is something new. These one hundred and forty-four thousand that will be sealed will be innocent children, those who have not reached the age of accountability. Therefore, in their mouths was found no deceit, for they are without fault before God (Rev. 14:5) Why does God select only Jewish boys from the twelve tribes of Israel to be the core of this firstfruits offering? When the age of grace comes to a close, not one single nation out of all the nations of the world would have accepted God’s offer of grace. There will be people raptured from all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, but not one single complete nation will acknowledge Jesus as their Savior and King! If any person or any nation rejects God’s grace, ultimately they will fall under the heavy weight of God’s law, no exceptions. We see that for the first 1,260 days of the Day of the Lord, the entire world, all the peoples and all the nations will be judged according to God’s law; only the children who are under the age of accountability will be spared the torment. They will have to die, for under God’s law the soul that sins must die, and it is appointed unto men to die once and then face God’s judgment. Here we see what the final result of God’s judgment is for all these innocent children who are represented by these one hundred and forty-four thousand who stand before the Lord, to be redeemed. Revelation 14:1 “Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.” Glory to God! The seal that God places on all these innocent children’s foreheads is His Holy Name: THEY BELONG TO ME says the Lord! The one hundred and forty four thousand represent all the children left in the world after the rapture. Psalm 127:3 “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward.” At the end of the first half of the Day of the Lord, one thousand two hundred and sixty days, all the innocent children of the world will be removed from the world to be with the Lord forever and ever. There will be five days in between the 1260 and the 1290 for a total of 2555 days. At the beginning and during the second half, which will be one thousand two hundred and ninety days, there will be no children left in the world. It is during this time that God will judge the nations of the world; the antichrist will be empowered to rule over them and demand that all humans receive his mark or die. It would be unfair to have children who have not reached the age of accountability to be present during this time, since someone else would have to choose their destiny for them. Hosea 9:11 “As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird—No birth, no pregnancy, and no conception!” God will not allow births, pregnancies or conceptions during the last half of His Day of Wrath to protect the innocent from what will be the most horrendous time in human history. Even the women who have not repented, who are pregnant at the end of the first half of God’s Day of Wrath will have their babies removed from their womb to spare their babies from the final judgment of the second half of the Day of Wrath. Hosea 9:16 “Ephraim is stricken, their root is dried up; They shall bear no fruit. Yes, were they to bear children, I would kill the darlings of their womb.” Why would the God of righteousness and justice go through such extreme measures unless to protect the innocent babies from a fate far worse than anyone can imagine. Note: If you miss the rapture of the church, the only way to get saved after that is to die a righteous death in order to enter heaven and be with Jesus. Hosea 10:8 “Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed. The thorn and thistle shall grow on their altars; They shall say to the mountains, ‘Cover us!’ and to the hills, ‘Fall on us!’” The above Scripture in Hosea is a direct quote from Revelation 6:16-17, after the sixth seal is opened and the Day of the Lord is about to begin. Revelation 6:16-17 “And said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” It is amazing to see the great lengths to which God goes to show His mercy to all His creatures. For almost two thousand years now the mercy of God—His desire to spare His human creation from the consequences of their sin—has been and continues to be proclaimed to all the nations through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Listen to this, it is very important: While we are in this age of Grace, ANYONE who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved; and if you have children under the age of accountability they will be sanctified by your salvation and made holy to the Lord. As a parent there is no greater satisfaction than knowing that your little one’s eternal destiny is secured. But know this: that with the same intensity that God loves our children, He loves us too, for we once were His little children ourselves, and we can still be if only we would call Him Abba our precious heavenly Father. Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Psalm 103:17 “But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children.” Previous Next

GOD'S COVENANT AND RESTORATION To teach believers the unshakable nature of God’s covenant and promises, using Psalm 89 as the foundation, and to lead them into personal repentance, renewal, and restoration through prayer and alignment with God’s Word. GOD'S COVENANT AND RESTORATION Minister Lisa Kane September 23, 2023 Objective: To teach believers the unshakable nature of God’s covenant and promises, using Psalm 89 as the foundation, and to lead them into personal repentance, renewal, and restoration through prayer and alignment with God’s Word. Synopsis: In God’s Covenant and Restoration, Lisa Kane expounds on the eternal faithfulness of God’s promises, drawing from Psalm 89 and the life of King David. She emphasizes that God’s covenant is firm, His mercy everlasting, and His strength sufficient to uphold His people even in times of difficulty. The message explores David’s anointing as king, showing how God established, strengthened, and protected him, and how the same principles apply to believers today who are called into various forms of ministry. Lisa highlights that each believer has a unique calling, and stepping into that calling requires repentance, surrender, and reliance on the Holy Spirit. She teaches that God’s covenant brings blessing, protection, provision, and authority over the enemy, but disobedience and drifting from His ways open doors to discipline and loss of blessing. Still, even when believers falter, God’s faithfulness and mercy remain steadfast, offering restoration to those who repent and return to Him. The message concludes with a powerful intercessory prayer of repentance, renunciation, and declaration of freedom in Christ. Through this prayer, listeners are invited to realign with God’s covenant, break generational curses, and walk in renewed relationship and authority, fully restored in His mercy and promises. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine. I'm recording this on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. Welcome. This message is called God's Covenant and Restoration. Amen. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your covenant, your promises. You are perfect. You keep everything firm and strong. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Father God, that you are in control and you are doing the right thing, Father God. Lord, may we line up with you and um be restored that you promised us, Father God, in the glorious name of Jesus. Thank you, Father God. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture here. This is God's covenant and restoration. Psalm 89:28. My mercy I will keep for him forever and my covenant shall stand firm with him. What we're going to do in this message is something a little bit different. So I'm going to be teaching on God's covenant and his promises and how firm they are and faithful. This is Psalm 89 has to do with King David and what he does with his heritage, his lineage. And so what we're going to do is we're going to apply that to our lives because scripture does apply to our lives. And the way we're going to do that is through prayer. So I'm probably going to teach here for maybe about 25 to 30 minutes and then we're going to say this prayer together. It is uh an intercessor's prayer, but it does help with us first because it helps us line up and then we can intercede for those around us. Amen. So that's what we're going to do. This is a message that I believe is going to change you and I hope that you apply it to your life. So we're going to focus a lot in Psalm 89. So let's start here in verse 19 and 20. Then you spoke in a vision to your holy one and said, "I have given help to one who is mighty. I have exalted one chosen from the people. I have found my I have found my servant David with my holy oil. I have anointed him." David became king of Israel and he had a heart uh he was the apple of God's eyes and yes he had a a heart for the Lord and the Lord chose him to be king. So in order for him to be king he had to become anointed with oil. So let's go read what happened for him to get anointed with oil. 1st Samuel 16:1 Now the Lord said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill your horn with oil and go. I am sending you to Jesse the Bethleamite, for I provided myself a king among his sons. Then, and then jump down to verse 13. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. And the spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Rama. So what happened here? What is happening here is God is calling David to be king over his people. So this is a calling on David's life. Each of us have callings in our lives. Um we could be in children's ministry. We could be an usher at a church service. We could handle um the administration part of a church. We're all in ministry one way or another. Whether you even go to a regular 8-to-five job that's non-church related, your interaction with people, your smiles, your your tone, behavior, your attitude, all of that plays a role into how you share your testimony because people can sense whether you are a believer or not. So you go into ministry. Well, how does as you see, David is called here and the first thing that he does is he gets anointed with oil. So I am speaking to believers here today in this message. If you are not a believer, repent, call on God and become a believer. And I highly recommend it because it changes you. And this message will change even the we can take the the believer that barely goes to church once a year to the believer who goes to church regularly and is involved heavily in the church. This message is going to strengthen your relationship with the Lord because it's not a religion. We are not a part of a religion. We are part of a relationship with God. And that relationship is about to get more then you're going to really really be blessed by this message. So in order to start first, you know, you have to repent and you have to call on Jesus. Get his mercy. Say, "Father God, I'm sorry I messed up." Once we acknowledge that we're we messed up, for lack of a better way of saying it at the moment, I can't think of another way to say it. But once we realize that and we humble ourselves and we ask God to forgive us, the next thing is to get water baptized. And after you get water baptized, the spirit of the Lord comes upon you. Well, in this case, David, the Old Testament way was the anointing oil allowed the spirit of the Lord to come upon him. So now, if you want to move into a calling that you believe the Lord is calling you to, one, you can go to the elders. They can anoint you with oil and pray over you. And the elders at the church, you can go there. Or you can even in your own personal relationship with the Lord, in your own secret place with the Lord, get your anointing oil out. You can buy it online, pray over it, anoint it, and then anoint yourself and say, "This is my calling that I believe the Lord has for me." And you set things in motion spiritually when you do this. So this is what happened to David. David became king of Israel. And it started with the anointing of the Lord. And from this day forward, the spirit of the Lord is upon him. Now, the reason I showed you Samuel because I wanted you to see the physical, the prophet Samuel actually came and put oil on David. So, this is why we put oil on ourselves and you get covered with the anointing oil. It allows the spirit of the Lord to come in and work on you. So, that's the first thing we got to do. So, we establish this foundation. So, now let's continue in Psalm 89 because I want you to see something. here is really really interesting. With whom my hand shall be established also my arm shall strengthen him. Let's pause there for just a moment. God, his hand is the one that's establishing David. His hand is the one that establishes you and I in ministry. Do you get that? Look at what else he says. He says his arm shall strengthen him. meaning we can lean on his arm and he'll hold us up because there are gonna be times when you're in ministry where it is very hard and is strong. It's like your opposition is just coming against you and sometimes you just can't even stand. If you go read the Psalms and read David, you will find there are times where he just had to get down on his knees and say, "Lord," and he cried out to the Lord. Well, God's arm was holding him up the whole time and so was his hand because his hand had established him. So, this is firm. So, once you get into ministry and you go forth at the after the anointing oil or the water baptism, whatever you end up going into ministry with, know this. God's hand established you and his arm is holding you up. You need to believe this. Look what else he says. And look what else he's done. If you go read King David's life, 1 Samuel, beginning of 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles, beginning of 2 Chronicles, you will see God moving in David's life and you can see the whole changes that take place in his life because God had established him. But look at the second part of this or verse 22. The enemy shall not outwit him nor the son of wickedness afflict him. So when you go read about David and you read about all the oppositions he faced, they never outwitted him. David knew exactly what to do at all times because God gave him the wisdom, God's wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for David to handle the situation. So when you go into ministry, you are going to outwit the enemy. You're going to be thinking outside the box and doing things that God's going to tell you, the Holy Spirit's going to tell you. You're going to be thinking, "Wow, this is awesome." Because he's given this to you. And did you see wickedness will not afflict him? You will not be afflicted by the enemy. What does the enemy do to afflict someone? Takes your way your finances. God provides. Go uh look at Elijah. Even the crows came and fed him because he needed to eat. And God's like, "I'm going to give you food." You see, he was not afflicted because God still provided for him. So, he takes your finances away. Guess what? God still provides. He tells people, "Hey, you need to go get a bag of groceries for that person over there." And I promise you, God always provides. So, he keeps you from getting afflicted. What about sickness? The sickness will not touch you. Was King David ever sick? I don't read that in scriptures and I've not read that and I've read all through that. So, you shouldn't be sick when you're in ministry. Watch how the Lord shows us where we can go into this new ministry, whatever it may be, whether children's church, teaching behind a pulpit, singing worship songs, you should never get sick. Never. Why? Because you have taken his calling in your life and you move forward in your relationship with the Lord. David had a relationship and God called him to be king. You have a relationship God calls you to be. You fill in the blank. And once you fill that in and you move forward in that, it begins you begin to have a relationship with God. And I've been teaching on relationship with God for a long time now. Let's continue on in verse 23. Look at what else God does. I will beat down his foes before his face and plague those who hate him. So now people hate you. They hate you for being successful, for looking so good and being to them. They get jealous and envious of anyone who has a beautiful calling on the your life from God. They get jealous of that. And what happens is God, look what he says here, beats down his foes. Because see, when they get jealous, they say things they shouldn't say. And when they say them, they curse you. But God says, "Nope, I'm going to In other words, those curses are going to come back beat down. They're going to feel the crushing pressure of God, not Satan, of God. Because now you're messing with God's anointed. Never, never mess with God's anointed. If you see somebody who is beautiful, who is supporting Israel, Jerusalem, who is giving God the glory and all that they do, and they acknowledge God and everything, that's somebody who's anointed by God, do not mess with them. Do not curse them. Don't say anything bad about them. God's coverings on them and he will beat you down. And he says it right here in scriptures. Look at that. I will beat down. That's God talking. Because you become a foe or an enemy against his anointed. Now, let's continue on and plague those who hate him. Guess who gets sick? If you've been sick, I promise you it has to do with some sort of sin, some sort of unforgiveness, something you said against God's anointed somewhere along the road of life. You may not have actually meant it. You may not even remember it, but God does. And hence, you get sick. So keep that in mind. If you're getting sick, you should you it should be telltale signs to you. This isn't a bad thing. You know, I got spanked when I was growing up. It's not a bad thing to spank your children. Why? Because they get to learn respect. And it goes to show how much my parents loved me to keep me from going around and doing things I shouldn't have been doing. They keep me safe. And that that action of discipline, thy rod, thy staff, they comfort me. David said this of God. He was comforted when he was disciplined. I am comforted when I am disciplined. So if I get sick, h that's a reminder. Okay, I know in the back of my mind I need to do what? Time to repent. Time to start talking to God again. Time to get back in. Because we're humans. We are flesh. And what do we do? We forget. We we separate ourselves. We get caught up in the world, the busyiness of the world. Oh, and it it gets frustrating. I understand that. But we got to remember, we got to put that effort forward. Look at verse 24. This is now God saying, "But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him, and in my name his horn shall be exalted." You see, when God exalts somebody, he's doing it through himself. God is saying, "Okay, Jesus, you are my son, my beloved. I love you." and he tells the people around him, "Listen to him." And he he set up the hierarchy. So he lifts up his son Jesus. Well, he lifts up David and he's saying, "I'm doing it through my own name because he honored David for David honoring him." God is a God of honor. Oh, so God will honor you. what you do in secret behind the scenes, having that relationship with God, he exposes out in the open and he honors you. David was very honored in his walk even though he killed someone on purpose. David was a murderer. Yeah. We It's time to get our lives set up with God because when we're in this relationship with him and we've taken this step, Yeah. this is what we do. We get blessed by him. He is protecting us. He's holding us up. Look at verse 25. Also, I will set his hand over the sea and his right hand over the rivers. What does that mean? Well, if you go look at the ocean, can you see underwater? No. The ocean, especially in the deeper parts, it's very dark down there. In fact, that is Satan's domain. That's where he reigns. He sits on the waters in the world over the oceans and the rivers. But look what God says he does to the people that choose to come in and be his anointed. Watch this. Watch this. He says, "I will set his hand over the sea and his right hand over the rivers. You have dominion over Satan and the demons." Again, you should never be sick. You should be the one casting out demons. You should be the one ministering to people because that is your calling and this is where God is taking us and we need more people doing things like this. Look what else. Now he shall cry to me. Now he's saying David's going to cry to me. You are my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. You know, when I'm in intercessory prayer here in my secret place in this room, I'm always Lord God, you are my God, my King, my Lord, and my Savior. You belong to me and I belong to you. He is my rock and my salvation. He is the son of God. He is my Lord and Savior. I declare the name of Jesus over everything about me because I cry to him because this is my calling to teach and preach the word of God to intercede in prayer. These are the callings I have in my life. I've been anointed. And because I've been anointed with the oil and I've been approved by God to do this, I push in and begin to have this relationship with God and I cry to him. I let him know what's going on. I say God, I say Jesus, the name of Jesus shall save. Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13, Joel 2:32. Look at verse 27. And also I will make him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. David really, really got blessed here. Jesus is king and will be king after he comes back and returns. But he came first as priest, not as king. But he came through the lineage of David. But David is his the first king. Even though King Saul was there, God chose David. And this is his firstborn. Guess what? We are adopted and grafted into the lineage of David. Into the lineage of Jesus. Jesus comes from David. We are part of being the firstborn. We are part of being the one who has been called. We just like the disciples, just like the apostles in the old church, how they were ministering people, casting out demons, healing people. We should be doing the same thing today. And you know what? Because of this teaching and the things that are going on, the Lord's getting everything ready for this part. So get ready because when we say this prayer here at the end, this is preparing us for his return and the revival that is coming. Amen. Verse 28. My mercy I will keep for him forever and my covenant shall stand firm with him. This is that was our opening scripture. I want you to see something here. My mercy, let's read that again. My mercy I will keep for him forever. You know, God is so full of mercy and loving kindness and he is telling David's line, I will always have mercy on you and every one of us who are grafted and adopted in there is nothing bad that you can do that God cannot forgive. He will have his mercy for you forever. Oh, that's powerful. Powerful. and my covenant shall stand firm with him. God does not waver once he speaks. His word is true. And we're going to see that in a moment here how it stays. He says his seed also I will make to endure forever and his throne as the days of heaven. Jesus is going to be king and it's going to be eternity. We're going to be in heaven in eternity forever with God and with Jesus. This is awesome. God is not removing the covenant. Now watch. Let's go here. Now, now we're going to start to see something here. God is giving a rule to this. And it's a rule. This rule applies to us as well. Says in verse 30, if his sons, okay, we're adopted and grafted in because we believe the I'm talking to believers now. So think of this, believers. If his sons forsake my law, or if believers forsake my law, and do not walk in my judgment, if they break my statutes and do not keep my commandments, then I will punish their transgression with the rod and their iniquity with stripes. Now, I want you to see something here is awesome. You notice he said he said he'll do it with the rod. That's discipline. Meaning, you're the believer. You're in covenant with God. You drifted away. I'm going to use the rod and bring you back. He's telling you straight up, if you're not going to keep my commandments, what is his commandments? To love with all your heart, soul, and mind. Love God or love your neighbor as you do yourself. So when you drift, he says, I will punish your transgression with the rod. Look at this. And your iniquity or their iniquity with stripes. Who took the stripes for us? So he's saying, look at this. This is awesome. He's saying, "I'm going to send Jesus and he's going to take the iniquity when you drift away and he's going to take it with his stripes." Meaning, you were healed by his stripes. So, even though you should be punished with iniquity, guess what? God sent his son Jesus to take it. So, when you're in covenant and you are part of God's anointing, you are never sick because Jesus handled it, took care of it. You just got to come and say, "Jesus, you are the son of God and I messed up." That's it. Oh, that's so powerful. Do you see how God is saying this about his covenant? All the kings of Israel, all they had to do was repent and come back and they were well established. God's promise would be firm. Let's continue because there is but right here there is a nevertheless in verse 33. Nevertheless, my loving kindness I will not utterly take for him. You see, we know what happens with the kings. We know what happens with Israel. Go read all of their first Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles. Go read all the prophets and they will be sharing with you what the kings are doing, how evil these kings are, many of them are. And that they were dispersed to the world and was no longer considered a nation. But God restores. His covenant stands. And the nation of Israel came back in 1948. If he can restore the nation of Israel, he can restore you. Do you see why I'm teaching this message? Oh, wait till we get to the prayer. We start restoring ourselves. But he says, "Nevertheless, my loving kindness, I will not utterly take from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail." You see, this is all about God and his faithfulness. He's got faith in Israel. He's got faith in us. So when I'm casting out demons or I'm dealing with some sort of sickness because he's having to discipline me and bring me back. Guess what? It is his faithfulness. I don't my faith may not be that big to take it over and overcome it and walk out of it. You know when he say uh pick up your mat and walk and be healed. You know, the disciples said that, Jesus said that. They got up and it and even Jesus says, "Your faith has made you whole, made you healed." Guess what though? God is saying, "My faithfulness will do this because you've already been in covenant." And he is now trying to bring you back. Oh, this is so good. Look at this. Verse 34. My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out on my lips. So you see, he knows already the kingdom is going to fail, but he says, "No, I'm not reversing my words. My words still stand." Then he says, "Once I've sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David." So he's telling David what's going to happen, what's going on. And he says to David, "His seat shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me, it shall be established forever like the moon, even like the faithful witness in the sky. who it will be on the throne forever that we get to worship is Jesus the son of God. Oh hallelujah. Hallelujah. So now you're beginning to see what the Lord is doing. Now look at though because see in covenant with God and if we forget or we get mad because we've been made in his image and God has gotten mad, we can get mad too. So, if we're lacking self-control and we're lacking the holiness of the Holy Spirit, well, look at what he says here in verse 38. But you have cast off and abhored. You have been furious with your anointed. God gets mad with his anointed. And until you repent, he is mad. And look at this. He's cast you off and he abhores you. You see, he's got his loving kindness. He's got his mercy there. He's telling you, "Come on. I'm sending you iniquity after iniquity. I'm sending you the rod. I'm disciplining you, but you're not listening. You're not repenting. You're not returning." And then what happens? The church dies. The spirit is not there. There's sickness and diseases. People are dying in the church when they should not be dying. God is saying, "I'm telling you, I'm furious with you. You are my anointed." It's not just David. It's us who are grafted in. We're his anointed and he's mad. Look at verse 39. But okay, so look at this. You, this is God talking, have renounced the covenant of your servant. He took the covenant back. Did you see that? Watch. You have profaneed his crown by casting it into the ground. Basically, God took your crown off and he slammed it to the ground because you are not repenting, renouncing yourself. You are not turning back and getting into the relationship with God. He is doing this to you. You see, most of our time, we don't really deal with the devil. We deal with ourselves for cursing ourselves and not speaking the blessings. And then we live, we deal with God and his curses. You see, when you're an anointed person, you've been going to church and you've been with God and you've been in that personal relationship with him. You should be in his standing and fully healed completely. This is your call. This is a promise, a covenant he's given to you. But when you break the covenant because you got him furious and he abhores you, it takes See, you have to separate yourself from the world. You've got to get back in with the Holy Spirit. You got to start again. Start fresh and again. Look at verse 40. You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin. You're no longer protected. Now you know why you're getting sick. Now you know why you do not have financial blessings in your life. It's like a hole in your pocket. The money keeps flowing through. God's done this. It's not the devil. God's done this. He did this because you're not aligning yourself with his covenant. We're going to do that here very shortly. Trying to keep an eye on the time here. And then look at he says, "All who pass by the way plunder him. He is reproached to his neighbors." So going to plunder you. So that's why I said it's like a hole in your pocket. People coming by are going to be taking money from you and you're wondering why you have no money. Well, that's why. Look at this. You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries. Now he's promoting the enemy saying, "Go for it. You you got my blessings to go after him or her because you're not doing what he asked you. You're not honoring his commandments. Love him with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul. These are what he's calling you to do. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. If you're holding on to unforgiveness, bitterness, envy, jealousy, any of this kind of stuff, you are not in his commandments. And you now are being blessed. The adversaries are being blessed to come after you. Oh, and take what you have. They'll take your home. They'll take your money. Why do we have so many homeless people? They don't forgive. They don't let go. They don't come back to God. They don't repent. They don't renounce. We need more renouncing here in the church and in the congregation and in the people's hearts and minds. We got to teach this. Look at this. You made all his enemies rejoice. You know what? When 911 happened, the towers came down. Who was rejoicing? Those in the Middle East. The enemy. They were very happy. Happy as a clam. God blessed that. God allowed it to happen because the nation now he was warning the nation here is I'm letting you know this is what's happening. I'm getting the rod now but you're not coming back to me. So he sends the adversary to come after you. This is now why the nation is in the condition it's in. But the church doesn't need to be this way. Even though we're under America's covering, we're under God's covenant covering covenant. And that's what we should be standing with and repenting and renouncing. Uh also, okay, verse 43. You have also turned back the edge of a sword and have not sustained him in battle. This is what I'm talking about. This is why 911 happened. Look at this. You have made his glory cease and cast his throne to the ground. The days of his youth, you have shortened. You have covered him with shame. That's the condition of America right now. So you can apply this to America. You can apply this to the church. You can apply anyone who's been with God but got taught a false teaching, got misled, and you're just not going back to God and repenting. This is what happens to you. This is why it happens. A lot of people don't understand why things like this happen. The scriptures just told us. Look at 2 Corinthians 4:1 and2. Therefore, since we had this ministry or calling, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart, but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. And there Paul sums it up what we've been teaching on. This is very, very powerful. We want to get back. So, to get back now to our covenant with God, we need to repent and renounce. So, we're going to say this prayer. I'm This is a prayer. I've got several screens here. We're just going to go through them and say them together. I'm going to say them slow. If you need to pause the video because you might be struggling saying something, and that's possible, but say the prayers, say them out loud. If you need to say them again, you say them again. And you come before the Lord and you humble yourself before the Lord. And I promise you, you saw his hand establishes you. You see his arm holding you. You see him keep the enemy away from you. You see how iniquity is dealt with. You will have all that back when you do this. And then you can also now minister in your ministry appropriately and effectively. Amen. Now, this prayer is copied from the intercessors manual under the books and manual at the houseof faithministries.org. So, you can get the whole manual there. Lots of more scriptures. Pastor Marcos Morero, my dad, he's the one who wrote that back in 2010, but it is still effective because you're dealing with spiritual matters. Let's begin. This is the prayer. Our Father who are in heaven, creator of heaven and earth, make sure you're saying this with me, okay? God, the judge of all, in the name of Jesus, your only son, I enter into your heavenly court and publicly repent of all my sins and I ask you for your forgiveness in the name of Jesus. Apply. Dear Lord, I pray the atoning blood of Jesus over all the sins in my life and the sins in my ancestors lives life that resulted in a curse. I repent of all of our disobediences and rebellions committed against your word. I now repent and re and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestors life such as the sins of perversion, lust, cheating, lying, adultery, fornication, mistreatment of others, uncleanness, filthiness, wantonness, lwdness, and every perverted thing that was connected to our fallen nature. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Now that I confessed all my sins, I ask for your forgiveness and cleansing from all my unrighteousness and the unrighteousness passed to me through the iniquity of all my ancestors. Deliver me, Lord, and cleanse me by the power of the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I now take authority over the devil's accusations against me in accordance with the word of God. I break and condemn any and every curse upon my life in the name of Jesus. I break all curses of poverty, lack, debt, destruction, sickness, death, and vagabond. I break all curses on my marriage, family, children, and relationships. I break curses of rejection, pride, rebellion, lust, hurt, incest, rape. Ahab, Jezebel, fear, insanity, madness, and confusion. The name that is above every name. The name of Jesus. I now break all curses affecting my finances, my mind, my sexual character, my emotions, my will, my intellect, and all my relationships. In the name of Jesus, I now break every hex, jinx, spell, and spoken curse over my life and my family's life. I break every feeder, shackle, chain, cord, habit, and cycle that is the result of a curse. According to Galatians 3:13, continue to say this with me, please. I have been redeemed from the curse of the law by the sacrifice that Jesus offered in my behalf. I claim forgiveness through the blood that Jesus offered for my sins and the sins of my fathers. All of my sins have been forgiven. So I now renounce all the works of Satan and their effect over my life and my family's lives. And I loose myself from every curse that As a result of our disobedience and rebellion to the word of God, I exercise my faith now in the word of God. Romans 10:9 and 10. And I make confession with my mouth that the salvation, deliverance, healing, and restoration that I believe in my heart is now mine because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Therefore, I confess that Abraham's blessings are mine. I confess that I am blessed and not cursed. I confess that I am the head and not the tail. I confess that I am above and not beneath. I confess that I am blessed coming in and going out. I confess that I am blessed by God and what God has blessed cannot be cursed in the name of Jesus and by the power of his shed blood. I now command spirits of rejection, hurt, bitterness, unforgiveness, bondage, torment, death, destruction, suicide, fear, lust, perversion, mind control, witchcraft, poverty, lack, debt, confusion, doublemindedness, sickness, infirmity, pain, divorce, separation, strife, contention, depression, sadness, loneliness, self-pity, self-destruction, self-rejection, anger, rage, wrath, anguish, vagabon, abuse, addiction, insanity, and the rest to come out now in the name of Jesus, my deliverer, and be forever gone because all of your rights to torment me and my family has now been removed. REPAIRING THE DISOWNED STATEMENT The purpose of this message is to help believers understand the seriousness of disowning or denying Christ with their words or actions, and how restoration is possible through repentance, confession, and renewed commitment to their God-given duty and obligation of love. It emphasizes the importance of fulfilling one’s divine responsibility, forgiving others, and walking in obedience so that restoration, healing, and power can manifest in the believer’s life. REPAIRING THE DISOWNED STATEMENT Minister Lisa Kane October 21, 2023 Objective: The purpose of this message is to help believers understand the seriousness of disowning or denying Christ with their words or actions, and how restoration is possible through repentance, confession, and renewed commitment to their God-given duty and obligation of love. It emphasizes the importance of fulfilling one’s divine responsibility, forgiving others, and walking in obedience so that restoration, healing, and power can manifest in the believer’s life. Synopsis: In “Repairing the Disowned Statement,” Minister Lisa Kane teaches from Matthew 26, John 13, and John 21 about Peter’s denial of Christ and his subsequent restoration. Although Peter boldly declared he would never deny Jesus, he disowned Him three times as foretold. His bitter weeping revealed the brokenness needed for God to begin transforming him into the powerful apostle we later see at Pentecost. The message explains how words spoken—whether denial or confession—carry spiritual weight, binding and loosing in both heaven and earth. Peter’s threefold denial required a threefold reaffirmation of love, where Jesus asked him, “Do you love me?” and restored him to his calling. Importantly, Jesus distinguished between affectionate love and love as moral duty and obligation, teaching that true discipleship requires responsibility, not just fondness. Minister Lisa highlights that believers today must recognize their duty to intercede, forgive, and love others as Christ commanded. By fulfilling this obligation, Christians manifest goodwill, break demonic holds, and invite God’s refreshing presence. Practical applications include forgiving even enemies, praying for leaders, interceding for family, and blessing communities. Ultimately, the message calls every believer to examine where they may have denied Christ, repent, confess His lordship, and walk in their moral obligation of love. This restores authority, brings deliverance, and empowers the believer to fulfill their God-given ministry with maturity, just as Peter did. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this on Saturday, October 21st, 2023. Welcome. This message is called repairing the disowned statement. Let's open up an order of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the anointing of your Holy Spirit. We thank you for your wisdom, your knowledge, your understanding. We thank you for teaching us the deep meat of your word and satisfying our spirit and soul with your word. Father God, let us learn what love and our obligation and duty is, Father God. And let us restore our lives unto you after possibly denying you in the past. Thank you, Father God, for your healing and your restoration in our lives in the glorious name of Jesus. Thank you, Father God. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture. This is called repairing the disowned statement. We're going to start here in Matthew 26. We're going to look at verses 34 and 75. Jesus said unto him, he's talking to Peter, verily I say unto thee that this night before the cockcrow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And that word deny there means deny utterly or disown. So he's going to disown Jesus three times. And then later on in verse 75, Peter and Peter remembered the word of Jesus which said unto him before the [ __ ] crow, "Thou shalt deny me thrice." And he went out and wept. And that word wept there means to whail out loud. And he did it bitterly. And it was a violent bitterness. He He was broken. He was ready to die for Christ, ready to lay down his life. And he couldn't figure out, you know, here he is in the courtyard as they're interrogating Jesus. He's standing in front of a a fire pit of some sort. And they're accusing him as being one of the ones who hung out with Jesus. And he denied it as Jesus prophesied he would. And yet he had told Jesus, "Nah, it may everybody else is going to run away, but I'm not." Peter is one of the most interesting disciples you will ever watch and get to know. He fascinates me. Why? Because of his maturity. God Jesus came and got him as a fisherman. And then he showed him what he was going to do. And Peter finally believed it. It finally happened and he learned. But here's where it started. It started with his brokenness. He became broken here. He got to relate with Jesus. He saw him. He walked with him. He lived with him. He got to spend all that quality time. And the moment that Jesus is going to move into his anointing power, the ministry, get crucified for you and me because that was his obligation, his duty. I'm going to show you that here in a moment. When he was about to do that, everybody scattered and ran from him and left him alone, including Peter. And he was hurt by that. He was hurted himself. He was um he was messed up. Hurt by it. Let's look at this a little further in John 13. We're going to look at 36-38. Simon Peter said unto the Lord, "Whi goest thou?" Jesus answered him, "Whether I go, thou canst not follow me." Now, but thou shalt follow me afterwards. Listen that very carefully. We know in hindsight that Peter died on the cross, crucified upside down. He finally met his death. And Jesus is saying, "I got to go get crucified. You can't follow me now, but you will later." So, he's prophesying to Peter. Peter's listening and hearing this. Watch this. Peter said to him,"Lord, why can I why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake." He's going to give up the spirit, the ghost. Peter was ready and willing to die. And Jesus said, "Not yet." Look what Jesus said. Jesus answered him, "Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake?" Look at what that word sake there over me instead. You see, Jesus had an agenda. He knew exactly what he was going to do. And Peter is trying to disrupt what the man of God, the son of God, is going to do. Who are we to disrupt what God wants to do? But here Peter is saying, "I'm going to lay down my life for you. You can say all this junk about everybody running away, but I'm not going to do it." And yet, look what happened. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, the [ __ ] shall not crow till thou hast denied me thrice. And look at that word deny is utterly disowned. So Peter hears this. Of course, he forgets about it. And we saw in our opening scripture that he remembered much later on and he became broken. He he realized for the first time how much of a human being he was. This is where God can start to work in us. This is why I like Peter because when you see the maturity level, you see what he does on the day of Pentecost, you see what he writes in first Peter and second Peter, and you just go, "Who is this guy?" Because it can't be the same Peter that walked with Jesus who tried to stop Jesus from going or doing whatever or I'm going to go do it with you. One of the two. So, I want you to see how this plays out for him and where we're going with this. So now John chapter 21, we're going to get into verses 15-1 17 just so I can put it in the placement here. Jesus already was crucified. Jesus already rose from the dead. He's been around now. He's been walking 40 days here on the earth or sometime in that time period. He's ding with his disciples in his new form with the holes and all that stuff. And he's talking to Peter. So here he says, "So when they had died, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon son of Jonas, lovest lovest thou me more than these?" He saith unto him, "Yeah, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee." He saith unto him, "Feed my lambs." I want you to see what the the two different loves here. This very, very powerful. Watch this. That word lovest that Jesus is saying to him is a social or moral sense duty obligation. It's the G35 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary. So it's a moral obligation. You see Jesus is asking Peter to love me with your duty and obligation. You get that? But Peter answers something different. Watch what he says. I love but Look at he says this is to be a friend fond of. I'm affectionate toward you. Personal attachment. This is G5368 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary. Look at that. To be a friend fond of affectionate personal attachment. So instead of doing the duty and obligation which remember that was the whole crux of the matter here. Jes Jesus had to go die on the cross and he told Peter you can't go where I'm going yet. And Peter says I'm ready to lay down my life. I'm ready to do my duty and obligation. And Jesus is saying that's not your duty and obligation yet. Later, that will be later. I need you to fulfill your duty and obligation, which is different than mine. You see, Jesus had to go to the cross to redeem us from our sin. Peter was going to be a fisherman of men, and he needed to fulfill that duty and obligation. He hadn't done that yet. And remember, he was told he was going to do this. I'm going to show you the scripture here in a moment, but look at that. So Jesus is asking him, do you have the obligation? And remember this is after Christ was crucified. There's something here. Let's go to verse 16. Now he says to him, he say to him again the second time, Simon son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Look at that. that lovest is that G35 social and moral sense duty obligation Peter he he saith unto him yeah Lord thou knowest that I love look at the love he said here to be a friend I'm fond of affectionate personal attachment to you thee he saith unto him feed my sheep that's twice how many times did Peter deny Jesus disown Jesus three times so here Jesus is asking Peter and he's restoring him by asking him to make his commitment now to obligation and duty. Now watch what happens for the third time. This is verse 17. He saith unto him the third time, Simon son of Jonas, Jonas loveth. Now look at this love to be a friend fond of affectionate personal attachment. Do you attach yourself personally to me, Peter? And this is what Peter had been saying the whole time. So, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, lovest thou me? Which that love is to now be a friend. But so technically, it's the first time he's saying it this way. But look at what happens. And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things. Thou knowest that I love. And this he reiterated a third time to be the friend of I'm be fond of you. I'm affectionate toward you. I have a personal attachment to you. And Jesus said unto him, feed my sheep. So now let's look at the dynamics here. Notice what did Peter do when he denied Jesus three time? He spoke it into existence. Now when you speak things into existence, you bind things on the earth which then is bound in heaven. You loose things on the earth which is loosed in heaven. When he disowned Jesus, he said, "I am I'm denying. I have nothing to do with him." This is a very powerful thing. You have to be very careful. So what Jesus needs to do now is he needs to restore Peter back to being part of him so that when he restores him he can go fulfill his obligation do the love that Jesus asked him to do. So he has to ask him three times. So he's asking him are you going to fulfill your obligation? Because see Jesus or excuse me, Peter said he was going to do that, but he got scattered and he was broken. This time Peter is like, I'm going to keep this on the surface. I fondly appreciate you. Thank you. I will commit on the surface. And that's what Jesus did. But or that's what Peter did. Jesus met him though at that moment says okay I'll take you this way but he had already told you Peter but you will so now what happened when he said I will love you and have attachment to you three times that counteracts the disowned statement Peter is restored back unto the kingdom of God with Jesus and he can move forward. And then you can see this in his ministry. You're going to see the transformation and the change in his ministry as he goes about doing this. Now, let's look at this obligation because I want you to see this now. Why Jesus had to do this and what this does to you and me because this is so fascinating, powerful. Here in John 13:34, Jesus says, "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another, as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." All three of those loves is that G35 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary, which means social moral sense, duty, obligation. [Music] Wait a second. Wait a minute. I give you a new commandment that ye love one another, that you are obligated, that you commit your duty to one another. Oh, how I've met I've been teaching on being a priest for your family. I've been I was teaching you last week how to intercede. Actually, the last couple of weeks, how to intercede on your family's behalf by forgiving, speaking the words. Because see G Peter when he spoke the disownment, he had to speak the confession back into existence to have the restoration. This is why Jesus asked him verbally, "Do you love me?" And he answered, "You know that I do. I love you." He had to answer him verbally. Now the restoration is taken into place. And Jesus is saying, "I'm giving you guys a new commandment. All of you, all of you are my disciples." He's telling you to have that moral obligation duty to one another. What is the moral obligation duty that you have toward one another? Well, as a parent, you have kids. It is your moral obligation to feed them, clothe them, put a roof over their heads, get them the things they need, and then add a few extra things here and then when you feel like you want to or earn they've earned it or something of that nature, that's your moral obligation. So, how do you apply that in Christianity? You're going to see godliness manifesting here and the good will. Let's continue on. Verse 35. By this all men, know that ye are my disciples if you have love. Look at this word love. It's different. This is G36 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary. This is the affection or benevolence, which benevolence means goodwill. So, by this shall all men know that you are my disciples. If you good will one to another, now you do good things. This is why you see people like in the church who have a their own business, you'll see them go into ministry. Uh I just saw we had a testimony, one of the Bible says a couple weeks ago and she's a widow and this young man came over and was mowing her lawn and they got to talking. They're both believers in Christ. He says, "You know what? If you ever need anything from me, you come and ask me. I will be here to help you. That is good will toward one another. That is this love. G36, the goodwill, benevolence love. So see what Jesus did here. He gave us a new commandment to be obligated and have our duty, the moral sense towards one another so that they know you're the disciple of Jesus. And then you're to do the good will toward one another because that's how they're going to know because you got to supply your fruit. You got to show them who you are, right? Oh, look at this. And in verse 12, and because iniquity shall abound, look at what this love, see, I want you to see this. This is so powerful. Jesus is prophesying Matthew 24. And because iniquity shall abound, the love, the good will G36 in the Strong's Hebrew Greek dictionary shall of many shall wax cold. He prophesied that in the latter days we will not see that good will happening. So in other words, we're not fulfilling our duty and obligation. We're not fulfilling the commandment of love that Jesus told us to have. [Music] This is very very important. This is where we need to realize there's more than having a relationship with God. You see, your love is I I have a relationship. You're f I'm fond of you, Jesus. You are my best friend. You are my God. You are my savior. Wonderful. And this has been my relationship with the Lord all the time. But now he's saying you're going to love one another, which is the commandment he gives you so that you are fulfilling your duty and obligation. How do you do that? So, I've been praying and interceding for family and friends and church. And when you start to intercede, I'm fulfilling my obligation to those around me. Think of it like this. I shared this before. Um, in the last year or two years, the neighborhood where we were living out, Lakeland Senor had a lot of um theft in there and uh over the years and and it it was there. It was prevalent. We were always locking our doors. You were very cautious and everything. And I, you know, I did the thing where I'm casting out demons. Ah, you know, Lord, place your hedge of protection. But I changed my prayer when the Lord gave me this epiphany. I prayed for them to have prosperity. And I blessed the thieves known as the enemy. Why? Because if they got the stuff that they need and want, they won't come to me to take it from me. What an epiphany that is. Oh my goodness. You guys got to get this. So now when you let's say you want revival, guess what you got to start doing is you got to pray for the people's soul and spirit around the area around the church. You've got to fulfill your obligation. Jesus wants a revival, but he's waiting for you. What's the scripture that says creation is waiting on the sons of men to show themselves. This is where it starts. you interceding on behalf of the people around you. This is very very important and very powerful that we have to get this because God said Jesus says love one another. Love with obligation and duty. So like for the the war with Israel Hamas, guess what? I'm asking the Lord to forgive Hamas. I'm asking him to forgive the terrorists. I don't want to. I don't want to do it, but that's my duty and obligation because I love Israel. And if I forgive Hamas and Jesus forgives them too, they change on the inside, get transformed, and become believers in Christ. That's what you want for your family, right? You want your family saved. You should be forgiving them of their sins. By the way, you should be forgiving yourself, too, because you may have cursed them. Oh, man. Did you see so and so again, all high and loaded up? man, that that guy needs rehab. He needs something, but boy, it's ugly and oh, I wish if you would just forgive him and then forgive yourself, clear the curses and you bless him. Now, the spirit can move in him and change him. And scripture clearly tells us that that when they hear and see, they will believe. That's how you bring down bring down the demonic activities that people have opened the doors for that they didn't even know that they did. A lot of the stuff that goes on around us is due to ignorance. I think it's Isaiah Hosea 6:4 or 4:6 where he says we die from or we're destroyed from lack of knowledge. The word destroy is we're we're dumb and silent. But we have a duty, a moral sense, and an obligation to fulfill what Jesus told us to do. And that is for all of our family members. That is for every church member. That is for every ministry. That is for your government. Yeah, we need to forgive Biden. If you have an issue with Trump, you need to forgive Trump. I know it's hard. I didn't want to forgive Hamas. But I also not only did that, I said to demonic activity, loose the hostages. See, whatever you loose on earth is loosed in heaven. And did you see two hostages were already released and sent back? Yeah, prayer works, my friend. Prayer works. You got to get in on this and understand what's going on here. So, look at this. Now, this is Peter talking at the day of Pentecost. This is Acts 3:14 and 19. But ye, he's talking to the Jews, the Hebrews, and really to the Pharisees and the Sadducees, the leadership of Israel. He says, "But ye denied the holy one and the just and desired a murderer to be granted unto you." So there was Barabus and Jesus. And Pontius Pilate says, "Which one do you want me to release?" And they all cried for Barabus. That was not just the high priest. They were antagonizing the crowd, but the crowd fell for it. And they all said, "Free Barabus. Give us the thief. We want him. Crucify Jesus the Christ. We don't want him. He's not our Messiah." They disowned him. See, we when you say something like, "President Trump, it was not my president." You disowned your president. He was the only leadership you had. And now you have no leadership. and you are now open and vulnerable to an attack from the enemy. This is why it's very important that we understand what we disown and how to get it restored. We need to have that restoration in order for us to fulfill our obligation and duty as a minister of Christ, a disciple of Christ. Amen. Now look at verse 19. So he tells you how to do it. So you dis disavowed, you contradicted the holy one, Jesus. Now he says repent. Look what the word repent there means to think differently. Reconsider. Repent ye therefore and be converted. Revert. Turn about that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Because see, times of refreshing come. And as they come, they come in waves. To grab a hold of that wave and to get that refreshing, you need to be repented. You need to be living for Christ. Because when the wave comes, you catch it because you are already established. You haven't disowned him. You haven't contradicted him. You haven't cursed your relationship with God. And you are fulfilling your obligation and your duty, the commandment that Jesus told us to do. Very, very important. Now, look what Peter also says because you can see he's maturing here. Look at now in when he wrote first Peter 1 seven and 8 says that the trial of your faith. Do you think Peter went through a trial when he wailed cried out recognized his failure and how violently bitter he was. He says that the trial of your faith being much more precious than the go than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire might be found to praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. He recognized the brokenness that he went through. Look at the maturity. Now look at this. He says, "Whom having not seen?" Look at he's telling you, "You haven't seen the Christ. I was there with him and I failed." But look what he says. Whom having not seen ye love? Look at that love. The G35. So all these people now that he's talking to are loving under the obligation and the moral sense and the duty, the commandment that Jesus said, something he struggled with because he was ready to die. Why? If he died then and he didn't fulfill the uh his obligation to 3,000 that was saved on day of Pentecost would not have been saved or it would have been done through somebody else. Who knows? But he had to fulfill his duty and obligation. He's recognizing this here and he's telling you I not only recognize it for me. Look at you get to do it and you're doing it without even having been there when we were. You're believing the testimony. He says, "Though ye though now ye see him not yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory." Oh, this discip this disciple Peter is absolutely amazing. You can just see the transformation and the change that he went through. And he's telling us now how to deal with it. You see, he said, "I had to repent. I had to confess." Look at what Romans Paul clearly identifies it in Romans 10:9. He says, "If that if thou shalt confess, you're going to acknowledge with thy mouth the Lord Jesus." You have to acknowledge Lord Jesus. You have to say it. That's your acknowledgement. You're confessing and shout believe. Look at what that belief, the word believe there is. Have faith. How do you have faith? How do you believe? You're talking to the sky. You can't see Jesus. You don't even know if he's real or not. that yet me he's real because I'm telling you I have seen him move in my life and believe my testimony I am not kidding you I have moved out here to Missouri and I have brought nine people and the hand of God was on this move through and through every little detail was handled taken care of fully and completely under God because he blessed us why because we are fulfilling our duty and obligation putting him first in our lives having that relationship with him and now interceding. He's teaching us. He's helping us grow like he did with Peter because we choose to be disciples. We choose to put him first and then he blesses us. This is how this works. And he says, "So believe, have faith in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead." See, when you're talking to the sky, you're actually believing that God raised him from the dead because you're talking that he's alive. Isn't that amazing? That's just so wonderful. And thou shalt be saved. Look at that. Say, make whole, restore. When you say, Lord Jesus, I love you. Like Peter had to say. Now, he said it through fondness, appreciation. I I love you, Lord. You're great. You're wonderful. And that's how many Christians love Jesus. They love him that way. So when you say, "Jesus, I love you. Jesus, Lord Jesus, I ask you to save me. I ask you to be my eternal Lord and Savior. Put my name in the Lamb's book of life. When you say that and you're confessing, you are made whole. Now, watch what happens. Yeah, watch this. For whoso, this verse 13, for whosoever shall call upon, invoke, there's that confession and acknowledge the name of the Lord shall be saved. Look at that word save. Save, deliver, heal, preserve. You have to call upon Jesus. When you invoke Jesus, Lord Jesus, I acknowledge you're the son of God. And I'm calling on you, invoking the name of Jesus. Because now you're a believer in Christ when you ask him to forgive you of your sins. And what happens is when you invoke him now and you say the name of Jesus, you are being healed, preserved. Let's go back to that delivered and safe from whatever circumstance circumstance or situation you're in. Whether you're having a problem at work or with your neighbor or with the devil himself and you're having to deal with all you have to do is say the name of Jesus. You see, let's say you're dealing with health issues. Jesus, you are Lord over my health. You are Lord over this cancer. You are Lord over my joy. You are Lord over my grief. You see, you are invoking the name of Jesus. Now, in order to have the authorities, you have to be a believer, which means you have to say, go back to verse nine, confess with the mouth, and believe that God raised him from the dead. You will be saved. You say, "Jesus, I'm sorry. I messed up and I'm believing that you're alive and I'm asking you to forgive me." And as soon as you do that, you are made whole immediately. Your body may not know it yet. Your mind may not know it yet. You might be struggling and fighting something, a division within your soul. But the name of Jesus, now you have the authority to go before the heavenly court. Here's how this works. As I alluded to this earlier in the beginning of the message, when you forgive, so it's you and Jesus before God and this whole heavenly court. And you got demons on one side, angels on the other, however it's set up, I don't know, but it's something like that. And what happens is you say, "Lord Jesus, forgive me." So Jesus takes you up to in front of his father and he says, "Father, she's asked me. He's asked me to forgive her him. I have forgiven them. So you forgive them. So the father says, "Okay, they're forgiven." So they have their rights restored. They can have this, this, and this. And then the devil might be off to the side, but but but and God says, "Nope. Justice served." See, you are immediately saved. Justice is served. And now the devil has no right to accuse you of anything ever again. So what happens is you can do what Job did. Job always prayed forgiveness over his kids, especially after they had a party. He was there the very beginning of the sunrise the next morning and he was um uh had with his rams and his bulls and he was doing sacrifices and he says just in case they curse God while they were having the party. This is how much that's his duty and obligation because he was praying for his kids. You see this? Look at the manifestation of the word of God here and the duty and the obligation here. So when you fulfill this and you are walking in your obligation. So what happens is you're there in the heavenly core. You're forgiven. You forgive something else. The devil comes calling and saying, "No, no, no, no, no." And Jesus says, "But I have forgiven her. I forgive it, too." And then God says, "Okay, it's forgiven. Clear." It voids, it nullifies whatever contract the demon has in that in that place. You see, let's use Hamas as an example. They open the door for demonic activity to be in their their hearts. Um, just from the violence that they did, just trying to keep this as nice as possible, but the violence that they committed cannot that it's unfathomable to me. That has to be demonic. I just can't see a human being doing something this degrading and wrong. But when I forgave them, because see the demons is telling God, they did this, they did that. And he has a bond, a hold on them. And God says, "Well, yeah, they did." Because nobody's forgiven them. But see, the moment I forgave, Jesus stood right next to me. He says, "And I forgive them, too." And so God says, "Okay, they're forgiven. Rights are restored. We're going to release the hostages. The bondage is let go." The demons have to let go. They no longer have a binding contract in place with that person. Now, can it be re-established? Oh, yes. So, all that person has to do is just invite the devil back into his or her life and I'll forgive him again in my next prayer. And now it's a matter of who outlasts who. I took it one step further and uh like for the weather for Southern California. I've taught I've shared that testimony before, but basically I went to the Lord in a very bold statement says, "Shut the mouths of these people trying to curse the weather, trying to curse what we're blessing. Keep it shut so the blessing can break through." And then it did. And we started having rain there again in Southern California. It was really nice. We had so much rain, as a matter of fact. But this is what I'm talking about. This is how you restore yourself out of a disowned statement. You do the same exact thing. Lord Jesus, forgive me because I denied Jesus back then or I have denied Jesus in my past. I'm asking you to forgive me. Jesus comes right next to you. I forgive you. Heavenly Father, I forgive them of this. This is forgiven. And heavenly father says, I agree. And the the uh he his gavvel is finalized. He punches it down. Boy, I just can't even I got it visually, but I can't speak it. But anyways, and the devils have to run. They have to release. Now, imagine if you started forgiving somebody that hurt you. By the way, it's not for them. It's for you. I taught on this just in the last couple of weeks. When you forgive someone else, see, when you're holding on to unforgiveness, your body is tight and it's in a lot of pain and it's hurting and it only gets worse from there. And that hardness turns into cancer. So, if you're dealing with cancer, you might want to look at the spirit of unforgiveness. And whether you want to forgive them or not, I suggest saying it anyways. Because when you speak it out, what happens is you're letting the angels and the demons know up in the heaven and and you're letting Jesus know, okay, I'm going to speak this out. And it's okay to say to Jesus, I don't want to, but I'm going to be obedient to your word and do it anyways. And Jesus says, okay, I forgive them, too. You're you're allowing Jesus to forgive. And what happens now? You're allowing Jesus to change your heart to to mold it and make it better. So, it softens and before you know it, it's just water under the bridge. And now you're not going to be sick. You're not going to get cancer. Not from that incident anyways. But it's up to you whether you want to continue to go and fulfill your obligation to not just yourself, but to those around you and to the heavenly father because he's got a ministry for you. He's calling you to ministry, whatever that may be. You have to start acting on that. It is his commandment that he gave you. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the blessing of your word and we thank you for the golden nuggets that you've given us today and the revelation that we have. You are amazing and glorious and wonderful. We thank you in the name of Jesus. Amen. God bless you and I will see you in the next message. Bye. Previous Next

CHRIST IS PREACHED The objective of this teaching is to demonstrate that the preaching of Christ, whether motivated by love or by contention, still serves to advance the gospel. By examining Paul’s letter to the Philippians alongside Jesus’ words in Matthew, the lesson encourages believers, teachers, and ministers to prioritize preaching with love while recognizing that God can still work through imperfect motives. Ultimately, the aim is to strengthen faith, inspire boldness, and emphasize that Christ is magnified both in life and in death. CHRIST IS PREACHED Minister Lisa Kane August 27, 2025 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to demonstrate that the preaching of Christ, whether motivated by love or by contention, still serves to advance the gospel. Synopsis: In Christ is Preached, Lisa Kane explores Paul’s message to the Philippians, highlighting how his imprisonment not only spread the gospel to new places like the palace but also emboldened others to preach with greater confidence. Paul acknowledges that some preach Christ with motives of envy and strife, while others do so out of love. Yet, he rejoices regardless, affirming that the central truth remains—Christ is being preached. The teaching then bridges Paul’s perspective with Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:17-20, reminding listeners that Christ came not to destroy the law but to fulfill it. Ministers are urged to honor God’s commandments in their preaching, as those who teach and live by them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. At the same time, Paul’s reassurance shows that even those who preach imperfectly are still within God’s plan. Drawing from both Old and New Testament commandments rooted in love (Deuteronomy 13:3, John 13:34-35), the message concludes that while God can use both fear-driven and love-driven preaching, it is far better to teach, preach, and evangelize with love. Love magnifies Christ, builds up the body of believers, and secures a greater reward in the kingdom of heaven. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: There are some good points Paul makes to the Philippians in chapter 2 that I want to explore in this Bible Study. Objective: The objective of this teaching is to demonstrate that the preaching of Christ, whether motivated by love or by contention, still serves to advance the gospel. Philippians 1:12-14 KJV 12 But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel; 13 So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places; 14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear. First off, it looks like the Philippians were asking Paul about the bonds that he was in, and he answered them by telling them that they’re turning out to be more for the gospel. That those bonds he is in are manifesting the gospel in places, such as the palace and elsewhere. And that it had a side-effect of causing people to speak with more confidence and boldness without fear. Then he goes on to explain that there are more ways to preach the gospel because of this. Philippians 1:15-18 KJV 15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: 16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: 17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. 18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. Paul explains the motives behind some of these preachers. Some have the motive of envy and strife but others with good will. He explains that the ones preaching with contention are attempting to poor out more affliction, make you feel more guilty in hopes that will cause you to humble yourself before the Lord. But there are those who preach with love defending the gospel as it is as Paul does. Then Paul makes the mind-blowing statement that whether they preach in pretense or in truth, that Christ is preached, and that causes him to rejoice. I always wondered about this because I see people get saved fully knowing the teaching they heard was not out of love. And even in my own life, I realized that I would rather teach out of love than to bring someone to the Lord through fear. Philippians 1:19-22 KJV 19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, 20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. 21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. And here Paul tells us that yes, the Spirit of Christ is working here in salvation through prayer. He brings this back to his suffering and rejoices because people are being saved and Christ is magnified through his body in life and eventually through death. Then he explains that living is done through being in Christ and that dying is gaining Christ. He’s not ashamed of the gospel but stands with all boldness…and he does eventually die for Christ because of this boldness. Let’s look at this through Jesus in Matthew: Matthew 5:17-20 KJV 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. First, Jesus clearly states that He didn’t come to destroy the law but to fulfill it. This is a good reminder that to each of us, we don’t know the Word of God or the law in it’s fullness, as the scribes and Pharisees claimed to know. This missed the Messiah’s first coming. And Jesus boldly and confidently states that every prophecy will be fulfilled. Then He makes this bold statement in verse 19: 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. When you are behind the pulpit as an evangelist, pastor, teacher etc, if you teach your followers to break the least of the commandments, then you are called least in the kingdom of heaven. Wait – what? You’re still in the kingdom of heaven? That’s right. Paul was confirming what Jesus demonstrated and stated in Matthew 5. But Jesus goes on to say that those that follow the commandments and teach, preach, evangelize them, then you shall be great in the kingdom of heaven. It’s great to see that Christ is still preached but as I speak to evangelists, preachers, pastors, teachers etc, know that when you preach by keeping His commandments, your status will be greater in the kingdom of heaven then those who preach with fear. What are the commandments? Deuteronomy 13:3 KJV 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. John 13:34-35 KJV 34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Both the old and new commandments are based in love. Conclusion, preach, evangelize, teach in love for it is the better option for you, and don’t condemn those that preach through fear. The spirit of God is working on them and they still have the option of being in the kingdom of heaven. Previous Next

- RESISTING THE HOLY SPIRIT | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
RESISTING THE HOLY SPIRIT The objective of this teaching is to help believers recognize the danger of resisting the Holy Spirit, whether through sin, fleshly desires, or religious legalism. Pastor Marcos Marrero shows how resisting the Spirit hinders God’s abundant life and blessings, while walking in step with Him brings freedom, truth, and preparation for Christ’s return. The lesson calls the church to humility, discernment, and a Spirit-led life that avoids compromise with worldly systems and traditions of men. RESISTING THE HOLY SPIRIT Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of this teaching is to help believers recognize the danger of resisting the Holy Spirit, whether through sin, fleshly desires, or religious legalism. Synopsis: In Resisting the Holy Spirit, Pastor Marcos Marrero explores the sobering warning of Acts 7:51, where Stephen rebuked Israel for being stiff-necked and continually opposing the Spirit of God. From the fall of Adam and Eve to the present day, humanity has inherited a natural inclination toward sin, rebellion, and resistance to God’s Spirit. Yet through Christ’s resurrection and the gift of the Holy Spirit, believers are called into a new creation where life and abundance are freely available. Pastor Marcos highlights that the fleshly tendency to resist the Spirit often disguises itself in religious legalism. The Pharisees of Jesus’ day resisted Him because they valued their man-made laws and traditions above the Spirit’s revelation. Instead of celebrating healings and miracles, they condemned Jesus for breaking Sabbath rules. This same spirit of legalism continues today, where religious structures resist true spiritual revelation because it threatens their control. The teaching emphasizes that Scripture must interpret Scripture, and the Spirit is the one who brings life and understanding. Jesus Himself declared that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath—showing that God’s law was always meant to bless people, not bind them. When leaders compromise truth for power or acceptance by the world, they lead others into darkness. The only safeguard is to remain humble, Spirit-led, and uncompromising in faith. Pastor Marcos concludes with a call to vigilance and reliance on the Holy Spirit as our guide into all truth. In a world unraveling morally and spiritually, the church must cling to Jesus, the Light of the world, and refuse to compromise with darkness. Above all, he warns: do not resist the Holy Spirit, for He is the One who prepares us for Christ’s soon return and empowers us to walk in life, light, and victory. Inspired Teaching: Acts 7:51 “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did so do you.” As humans we have inherited the propensity to do both, good and evil, for from the knowledge that Adam and Eve gained from their partaking of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, we, to this day, continue in the ways and manners that our ancestors did. Satan was the tempter who deceived Eve into partaking from the elixir of death, Adam partook of it willingly not wanting to be separated forever from the wife that he loved. 1 Timothy 2:14 “And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.” Regardless of how they fell, all their descendants became heirs of the curse of death that their actions brought upon them. John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Now those of us who have received salvation through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, are passed from death into life, and from being cursed with lack and lost, into the blessings of life and abundant life that we have inherited in the new creation that we become in Jesus. John 8:52 “...If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death (which is the penalty for eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil).” The agent that brings us into the blessings of this new creation is the Holy Spirit, but in our flesh, the carnal/natural man, we have an inherited tendency to resist the Holy Spirit, that tendency is still in us. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” So that when we walk after the Spirit we do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, but when we walk after the flesh we are basically resisting the Holy Spirit, and by doing so we hinder His work of filling us with life and the abundance of blessings that our Lord has already made available for us. Believe it or not, the greatest thing that hinders us from walking after the Spirit, is the law! Religion cannot function without rules and regulations. Galatians 3:2-3 “This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?” In the chapters leading up to John chapter ten we can see the resistance that Jesus encountered from the Jews that were so entangled by the law, and how to practice it, that they failed to see the spiritual revelation that Jesus was trying to teach them. Now the common people received the revelation that Jesus was teaching them, but for those full of legalism in their hearts, spirituality was nothing more than a curse. John 7:46-49 “The officers answered, ‘No man ever spoke like this Man (Jesus)!’ Then the Pharisees answered them, ‘Are you also deceived?’ Have any of the rulers of the Pharisees believed in Him? But this crowd that does not know the law is accursed.” Here the Pharisees had sent the officers to arrest Jesus because He had healed a man on the Sabbath, in their religious thinking the keeping of the Sabbath (law) was more important than making a person whole. John 7:23 “If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the law of Moses should not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath?” The officers were so caught up with Jesus’ teachings, that they forgot why they were there in the first place. So that the people, the officers, and everyone that had an open mind, could hear and understand the teachings of Jesus that were being confirmed by the miracles that He was doing, except for the legalistic crowd, they were more concerned with the violations of their man-made rules that were based on their carnal understanding of Scripture, rather than the blessings that were being bestowed on the people that they ruled over. When a leader, or a group of leaders, are more concerned with the well being of their ruling structure and governing power, than with the well being of those over whom they have rule over, is time for those who are under their rule to get out from under them. John 7:24 “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” How do we judge with righteous judgment? 1 Corinthians 14:32 “ And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.” In other words, Scripture interprets the Scriptures. Did not Jesus said that the devil is the one that kills, steals, and destroys? And that He, Jesus, came to give us life and abundant life? Then was Jesus in the process of restoring life on the Sabbath, or was He taking it away? Jesus quoted to them the Scripture that said that an infant was to be circumcised on the eighth day, even if the eighth day fell on the Sabbath, now we know that a child’s immune system is the strongest on the eighth day, so that the spirit of the law is always in harmony with what is always best for the child, or the person, not what is best for the law itself. Mark 2:27 “And He said to them, ‘The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.’” Why are the religious rulers so much against the common people receiving the spiritual understanding from the Holy Scriptures themselves? When we receive spiritual understanding from the Scriptures that governs us, the Holy Spirit is in control, for He is the Revealer of Scripture, when we follow man’s carnal interpretation of Scripture, then carnal men are in control, and carnal men do not like it when they are not in control. If you read the chapters leading up to John chapter ten, you find that chaos reigned among them, when it came to what Scripture had to say about where the Messiah was supposed to originate from. All the works that Jesus was doing in their midst confirmed to them that whoever did those kind of miracles among them had to be from God. That was what Nicodemus, a Pharisee, acknowledged, and the miracles that Jesus did were the reason why he believed Jesus was the Messiah, but he too was confused about how spirituality worked, that is why Jesus told him that he had to be born again, born of the Spirit of God. John 7:40-43 “Therefore many form the crowd, when they heard this saying, said, ‘Truly this is the Prophet.’ Others said, ‘This is the Christ.’ But some said, ‘Will the Christ come out of Galilee? Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?’ So there was a division among the people because of Him.” Like wise in our present day, confusion reigns as to when, where, and how, Jesus will be returning to the earth, there is even doubt among many as to whether He will be even returning to the earth. So how do we know? How do we prepare for His soon return? How do I make myself personally ready? There is only one way out of this confusing mess, we have the Holy Spirit to guide us, so let us put our trust in Him and not on the wisdom of man. John 7:39 “But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” Well, guess what, Jesus has already being glorified, and we have the Holy Spirit within us to guide us and direct us into all truth. All we have to do is remain humble, for the Lord resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Let us rely on the simplicity of our faith; did not Jesus say that if He left to prepare a place for us, that He would return for us? Let us keep looking up, He is coming for us, that where He is we might be also. Is our world falling apart as the bonds of morality that kept it together become unrestrained? That is exactly what Jesus said would happen before His return. In order for the judgments of God to be revealed there has to be a rebellion against His moral codes. John 8:12 “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.’” Stay away from those who compromise Scripture for the sake of keeping a balance between them and the world. What Jesus taught was offensive to many because He refused to compromise Scripture for the sake of being liked by the rulers of His day. There is a great deal of pressure being applied right now on many of the religious leaders to compromise for the sake of been accepted by the world, if you think like them, you become part of them. The spiritual thing to do is that which is best for you and your family in the long run, just remember that compromise is always a shortcut to nowhere. The world is in darkness do not follow it, follow Jesus by all means, who is the light of the world, and who always has your best interest in mind, AND WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT RESIST THE HOLY SPIRIT. You will not be disappointed! Previous Next
- SIN AND REDEMPTION | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
SIN AND REDEMPTION The objective of this message is to help believers understand the reality of sin, its consequences, and the hope of redemption through Jesus Christ. It emphasizes that while sin takes many forms—such as lying, murder, witchcraft, and homosexuality—God’s love for humanity remains steadfast. The lesson aims to show that sin is an action, not an identity, and that forgiveness, deliverance, and eternal life are available to all who repent and call on the name of the Lord. SIN AND REDEMPTION Minister Lisa Kane November 17, 2020 Objective: The objective of this message is to help believers understand the reality of sin, its consequences, and the hope of redemption through Jesus Christ. Synopsis: In this teaching, Minister Lisa Kane explains that sin, in all its forms, is disobedience to God’s Word and ultimately leads to death. From the beginning with Adam and Eve’s disobedience, sin has marked humanity with mortality and separation from God. Using biblical examples, including Genesis, Leviticus, Romans, and the Gospels, the message clarifies that sins such as lying, stealing, witchcraft, and homosexuality are not overlooked by God, yet they do not disqualify anyone from His love and redemption. The lesson underscores that God hates sin but loves the sinner, as all people are created in His image and declared good. Redemption is available to whoever calls upon the name of the Lord (Joel 2:32; Romans 10:13). Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death is presented as the ultimate act of love, greater than any human understanding of love. Believers are encouraged to see correction not as condemnation but as protection, much like a parent protecting a child from harm. The consequences of sin are death (Romans 6:23), but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ. The teaching calls all people to choose salvation by confessing Jesus as Lord and seeking self-control through the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23). Finally, the message reassures that God continually invites His children back, offering forgiveness and the strength to overcome temptation, leading them toward the fullness of His image and eternal life with Him. Inspired Teaching: There are several types of sin: lying, murder, witchcraft, homosexuality and many more. Sin is disobeying God and there are many actions God says not to do that we do every day. People lie, cheat, steal, kill, among other things like witchcraft and homosexuality. Let us take a look at homosexuality. How do I know this is a sin? Because the action of this sin goes against what God decrees in His Word to all humankind: Genesis 9:1 & 17 NKJV Vs. 1 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. Vs. 17 And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.” Homosexuality is unfruitful. Two males or two females are not able to produce biological offspring and therefore is not fruitful. Homosexuality disobeys God’s word for all flesh. Does this mean that God doesn’t love you? Absolutely not. Remember, homosexuality is a verb, not a noun. Verbs are actions. The act of lying, the act of murdering, the act of homosexuality etc. are sins that God hates. Not the person, the noun. Does that mean there is something wrong with you? Absolutely not. In fact, quite the opposite. You were made in God’s image and He called us good. Genesis 1:26 NKJV Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;...” Genesis 1:31 NKJV Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day. In fact, what is love? The biggest promotion from the LGBTQ community is that love is love. Here’s a friendly reminder, love is action and the only human to ever prove and show true love is Jesus, and yes, He did this for everyone, and we’ve all sinned. Joel 2:32 NKJV And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be [a]saved. Romans 10:13 NKJV For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Notice how important this statement is? God said it twice: once in the Old Testament and once in the New Testament. Jesus died for ‘whoever’ – no exclusions. That means you’re not excluded either, whether you claim to be homosexual or not. In reality, you’re just another sinner in the world…just like everyone else. Romans 3:23 NKJV for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Here’s love from God: John 3:16 NKJV For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. None of us can come close to that action of love Jesus took on the cross. When the LGBTQ community states love is love, do you love your child so much that you would let him or her burn their hand in the fire on the stove? Of course not. In fact, you love them so much that you smack their hands hoping the sting would let them know not to touch the fire. That’s what believers are doing with those wanting approval of their sin – any sin for that matter. In this particular message, it’s homosexuality. That’s what the LGBTQ community or the spirit behind them is saying…they want to sin and they want us to say it’s ok when God’s word clearly says it’s not. So every time something says the opposite of what they want, it stings, just like getting your hand smacked from your parents when reaching toward a fire; because you know deep down what God is telling you. And if you really want a more direct point blank statement in the bible of homosexuality as a sin, here it is: Leviticus 20:13 NKJV If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. Let’s talk about death here and understand the ramifications of sin in general, and not just the sin of homosexuality. Romans 6:23 NKJV For the wages of sin is death, but the [a]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. The moment that Eve and Adam sinned by pulling the fruit off the tree disobeying God, they started to age. (See, sin is disobeying God.) They didn’t die right away. In fact, it took several hundred years before they finally died. Today’s life expectancy is much shorter but the point is that if you sin, you die. Sin from lying, murder, adultery, homosexuality, witchcraft, etc. leads to death. But God. The gift of God, His Son is eternal life. God is awesome. He dealt with sin by sending His son Jesus to die on the cross so that you could be saved if you want to, and this is from all sin. So you need to ask yourself, do you want to stay in sin or do you want to follow God? I know this stings but it’s your choice. I’d rather you don’t burn in the lake of fire from any sin you commit but see you saved! Romans 10:9-10 NKJV that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. To choose God, say this out loud: Dear Jesus, I’m sorry. I’ve sinned and I ask You to forgive me of my sin and come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for Your forgiveness and mercy. In Jesus’ name Amen! Now it’s up to you whether you want to continue sinning when it’s so obvious God doesn’t want you to. The first thing you need is self-control. This will overcome temptation with sin. How do you obtain self-control? Ask God. Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 [a]gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Say this prayer out loud: Dear Jesus, Thank You for being my Lord and Savior. Help me overcome sin by placing self-control within me. Deliver me and help me stay focused on You. In Jesus name Amen! And just like sin in general, humanity continues to lie, cheat, etc…and when we do, go back to God. Ask Him again to change you and persevere in asking. Continue to ask Him to help you be in His image. He already sees you as that perfect jewel He made in you and He will get you on the right path if you want to. He will keep you from the temptation of whatever sin is your poison if you want to. You just need to talk to God. He’s waiting…start talking. Previous Next
- THE FOUL SPIRIT OF HATE | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
THE FOUL SPIRIT OF HATE The objective of The Foul Spirit of Hate is to equip believers with biblical understanding and discernment to recognize the destructive influence of hatred as a foul spirit. Pastor Marcos seeks to help readers understand how unclean spirits influence human emotions and behavior, and how to resist their control by standing firm in the Word of God, walking in love, and cultivating a sound mind through the Spirit of Christ. THE FOUL SPIRIT OF HATE Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of The Foul Spirit of Hate is to equip believers with biblical understanding and discernment to recognize the destructive influence of hatred as a foul spirit. Pastor Marcos seeks to help readers understand how unclean spirits influence human emotions and behavior, and how to resist their control by standing firm in the Word of God, walking in love, and cultivating a sound mind through the Spirit of Christ. Synopsis: In The Foul Spirit of Hate, Pastor Marcos Marrero examines the spiritual reality behind the destructive force of hatred. Drawing from Revelation 18:2 and other Scriptures, he explains that hatred is not merely an emotion but a manifestation of a foul spirit working through human souls to stir up chaos, division, and rebellion against God’s truth. Using insights from the Greek meanings of “spirit” (pnyoomah) and “soul” (phookhay), he clarifies how spirits act as currents of influence, shaping human personalities and actions. Pastor Marcos describes the mechanics of spiritual influence: the human spirit was designed to draw energy from God’s Word, but when influenced by unclean spirits, it leads to destructive behavior. He stresses that inspiration and influence come from spiritual sources—if they contradict God’s Word, they are unclean. Believers, though made new in Christ, must choose daily which spirits they allow to guide them and filter every influence through Scripture. Focusing on hate as a dominant strongman in these last days, he identifies it as one of the three most powerful human emotions—alongside love and fear. Hatred, whether violent or verbal, fuels division and strife, especially through modern propaganda and media that incite old grievances and perpetuate enmity. Pastor Marcos warns that harboring hatred leads to insurrection of the soul, a revolt from within, where one’s fallen nature rebels against God’s commands. The teaching concludes with a strong exhortation: believers must not repay evil with evil, nor fall into Satan’s trap of cruel hatred. Instead, they must cling to God’s Spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. By allowing God’s love to govern their responses, Christians can rise above deception, remain steadfast in faith, and avoid backsliding into hatred, walking instead in the peace and satisfaction that comes from above. Inspired Teaching: Revelation 18:2 “And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!’” If there is a word that conjures up strong emotions when spoken, it has to be the word hate. I can even picture a human face contorting as it utters that word. It is almost like one cannot even say the words, I hate you, without the display of an outburst of emotions attached to them. Since spirits manifest themselves as influences through persons, it is only natural that a spirit of hate would manifest itself through a person with such a display of emotion. I guess I should explain how I believe unclean spirits operate through persons, for those of you reading this that may not have heard of this teaching before, so that we can all be on the same page, here it is. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” As you may know, the New Testament was written in the Greek language which has a lot more words to express meaning and sentiment than the English language does. Every now and then we have to look at Scriptures as they were written in the original language to get the full meaning of what is teaching. This is one of those cases. In the original Greek, the word translated spirit is the word: Pnyoomah: # 4151 in Strong’s concordance, and it means Breath, as in a blast or a current of air and is translated as the word spirit. For in the Greek, spirits are referred to as breath or air, but in this case it refers to a specific form of breath, a blast or a current of air. Pnyoomah is the Greek word from where we get the term pneumatic as in pneumatic tools, which are tools that run on blast or currents of air. In the original Greek, the word translated soul is the word: Phookhay: # 5590 in Strong’s concordance, and it also means Breath, but by implication, static air, and is translated as the word soul. To get a better understanding of how the spirit and the soul work together to give us our personality, let us go to the first created human. Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man (the physical body) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath (the human spirit) of life; and man became a living being (soul, personhood).” If we want to understand how spirits can move the physical body, here is what I believe are the mechanics of how it works: The human spirit is like the energy, the blast or the current of energy like in a pneumatic tool, that moves the soul, that in turn gives to us our personalities, the person that we become. The human spirit is not self-sufficient, so it has to derive energy from sources outside of itself. Our spirit man was originally designed to receive energy from the Word of God and derive its human personality from it, that is to drive the soul into becoming what the Word of God intended for that person to be. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living (Zoe in the Greek, and it means life giving and life sustaining) and powerful (Energea in the Greek, and it means moving energy)…” Take for example the word influence, it describes the spiritual inflow that motivates people to do things, an influence is a spirit, and if the influence contradicts the Word of God, is an unclean spirit. Another example is the word inspire, when a person dies, that person expired, it means the spirit of life left them. When a person is inspired, it is a spirit who is doing the inspiration, and if such inspiration contradicts the Word of God, it is also designated as an unclean spirit. Now we were all born after the flesh, so like Adam we all have the propensities within us to fear and to doubt, and to feel shame and nakedness because of our sinful natures. But in the new birth we become a new creation, a brand-new creature. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” We are not beholden to the old nature any longer. But we still have to make a choice, and it has to do with which spirits are we going to allow to influence us, and are we going to filter those influences through the sift of the Word of God. Here is another example; as new creatures in Christ, all of our sins have been forgiven, we are not to walk in the fear of eternal torment any longer, but in the power of God’s love for us, and rejoice that in Christ, we have the mind of Christ, which is a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Now that we understand the process let us shift our attention to the spirit of hate, which is the culprit for the majority of the chaos going on around the world today. For hatred is the strongman of these last days. I believe that the three most powerful human emotions are: Love, hate, and fear. According to Paul God has not given us the spirit of fear, but He has indeed given to us His Spirit of love. However, the spirit of a sound mind is necessary to keep us from falling prey to the foul spirit of hate, especially in these last days. Harboring the spirit of hatred can lead to the insurrection of the soul. Psalm 64:2 “Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity.” KJV Insurrection is revolt from within, and since the workers of iniquity still reside within our souls which are still in the process of salvation, what it means is that our human nature can be led into rebelling against the commandments that flow from God into our spirit man. Just like the love of God nullifies the spirit of fear, the spirit of a sound mind can help us put away the spirit of hatred. First let us identify which type of hatred we are dealing with as the Day of our redemption draws near. Psalm 25:19 “Consider my enemies, for they are many; and they hate me with cruel (violent) hatred.” All you have to do to know that this is the type of hatred that we are dealing with today, just search the news and see how many believers are beheaded, tortured, burned alive, and struck down for their faith in Jesus Christ all around the world on a daily basis. In the more civilized parts of the world, where still some common sense restrains it, the violence from this spirit of hatred is more verbal in nature, but the sentiments are the same. If you are a believer in the morality that the Word of God commands for societies to follow, you are considered the scum of the earth, and it won’t be long before this sprit of hatred rears its nature of violence against those of us who believe here in the western nations as well. What feeds this spirit of cruel hatred is the spirit of division that is continuously propagated by the mediums of today, the news organizations that do not barter in the truth that they were originally established to proclaim, but rather in incitement and propaganda against the dictates of God’s Word. Ezekiel 25:15 “...Took vengeance with a spiteful heart, to destroy (through violent means) because of the old hatred (perpetual).” I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but all the hatred that is being fomented right now by many, has its roots in old hatred, that is, they are trying to revive past grievances, but in reality it is nothing more than Satan’s perpetual hatred against those of us who belong to God. Proverbs 10:12 “Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.” Now the reason I am bringing all these things up is to warn you, and to keep you from falling into the demonic trap of repaying evil with evil. As I look at what is happening from a spiritual perspective, the devil is playing mankind as a well-rehearsed orchestra. Everything out there is designed to bring up strife within the hearts of people with common sense. I see the frustration that many are having to endure, for it seems that what is evil and destructive has become the acceptable norm, and what is sound and good judgment is ridiculed. But we need to keep in mind that what they are doing, they are doing it purposely, they do not need to convince those who have swallow their lies hook line and sinker to follow in their destructive ways. It is us that need to be neutralized, from their point of view that is, those of us who believe in the power of God’s love to inspire and to motivate our actions. And the way to neutralize us is to have us fall for the tricks of the cruel spirit of hatred and become like them. Proverbs 13:21 “Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous, good shall be repaid.” Please my friends I know that it is not easy, not to become upset over the lies and the deception that they seem to be getting away with these days, without seemly any repercussions, let God deal with their actions. Make every effort not to get caught up in their web of cruel hatred and bad intentions. Let God’s love fill us with His peace, and deliver us from the snares of the wicked one. Let not our hearts backslide from His love. Proverbs 14:14 “The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, but a good man will be satisfied from above.” Previous Next

A NEW THING The objective of A NEW THING is to encourage believers to prepare spiritually, mentally, and emotionally for the divine changes God is orchestrating in their lives and in the world. Drawing from Scripture, the teaching emphasizes trusting God in times of uncertainty, resisting fear, and cultivating faith that aligns with God’s plan. It calls the church to readiness, worship, and reliance on God’s promises as He ushers in a season of wonders and transformative events. A NEW THING Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of A NEW THING is to encourage believers to prepare spiritually, mentally, and emotionally for the divine changes God is orchestrating in their lives and in the world. Drawing from Scripture, the teaching emphasizes trusting God in times of uncertainty, resisting fear, and cultivating faith that aligns with God’s plan. It calls the church to readiness, worship, and reliance on God’s promises as He ushers in a season of wonders and transformative events. Synopsis: In A NEW THING, Pastor Marcos reflects on a spiritual prompting received during December 2013 to “be still and wait” on the Lord. As the new year of 2014 approached, the Lord revealed through Scripture that He was preparing to do something new—something radical that would alter life as we know it. Pastor Marcos explores this theme through prophetic passages in Isaiah, Habakkuk, Matthew, and Revelation, highlighting the tension between human fear of the unknown and the assurance that God has redeemed and called His people by name. The lesson stresses that change is inevitable, but God’s people must remember they belong to Him, allowing faith to overcome fear. The message considers the possibility of world-altering, divine interventions—events so wondrous they defy human understanding and disrupt established traditions. Using biblical parallels such as the flood of Noah’s day and Christ’s prophecy of His return, Pastor Marcos frames this “new thing” as both a personal and collective call to spiritual readiness. He urges believers to remain steadfast, praising God in all circumstances, and keeping their eyes on Christ as the ultimate fulfillment of God’s promises. Ultimately, A NEW THING is both a prophetic reflection and a practical exhortation: to trust God’s plan, prepare for radical change, and live in expectation of His marvelous work and Christ’s imminent return. Inspired Teaching: As I posted our prayer focus for the last month of the year at the beginning of the month of December 2013, the Lord prompted me to pray for the ability to be still and to wait on Him, little did I know at the time that He wanted me to be still and wait, and not to write anything for the entire month of December, until the time of waiting was over. As I prepared to write again this last day of the year so that I can publish new things for the month of January 2014, the Scripture that the Lord gave to me, showed me that this new year the Lord will be doing something new and that we are to prepare ourselves for this new thing. I am not sure yet what kind of change this new year is going to bring, but for some reason I feel that this new year will be called a year of wonders. As always the Lord deals with us both in the personal level as well as in the corporal level, and is too early yet to know whether this year of wonders has only a personal application or whether it will be a year of wonders for the church as a whole. So, this lesson will deal with how to be prepared for the new thing that the Lord will be doing this new year of 2014. Isaiah 43:1 “...Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.” A new thing means change and change into something that is new always strikes a cord of fear within us, for we naturally fear that which we do not know. But to overcome the fear which naturally flows out of uncertainty, we need to understand that it is the Lord who is the One that is bringing in the change, and since we belong to Him, for He has redeemed us, that should remove the uncertainty of what this new thing will bring to us, for whatever it is we know that it is part of His plan for our lives. Notice how the Lord makes it very personal, for He tells us that He has called us by our name, it cannot get any more personal than that, and then He adds that we belong to Him. We need to keep this reality fresh in our minds throughout the year no matter what happens, and by doing so we will not give into the temptation to fear, for the spirit of fear always works against our faith. Isaiah 43:21 “This people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise.” And no matter what happens we will be able to praise Him, for according to His promises, we know that all things always work together for the good of those who love Him and who know that they are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” It is within our nature to wonder what this new thing might be, but we can only speculate as we read between the lines of Scripture. Isaiah 43:18 “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.” But whatever it is, we know that it will be radical, for it will eclipse the former order of things, and it will cause us not to even consider the things of old as an alternative way of thinking, so we know that whatever it is it will change life as we know it. Habakkuk 1:5 “Look among the nations and watch—be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you.” So what could happen, that it will be so radical, that it would change the long standing traditions of human thinking? What kind of event could change the very foundations and understandings of human knowledge? Isaiah 29:14 “Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work among this people, a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.” The above Scripture gives as a tremendous insight into what that life altering event might be and information about some of its workings. The first thing that we notice is that the work that the Lord is going to do that is going to change life as we know it, He has already done in the past, for He says that He will again do a marvelous work among this people, and then He adds: A marvelous work and a wonder. So that if we ask this question: What kind of work did the Lord do in the past that radically changed the lives of all the earth’s inhabitants? The flood of Noah’s day stands out all by itself, for it affected every human and radically changed the very nature of earth’s nature itself. Matthew 24:37 “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” So that we have not only a precedent, but we also have an event that we can associate with the new thing that the Lord will be doing, for whatever it is that the Lord will be doing, it will be a sign that precedes His return to the earth. Matthew 24:29-30 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” Jesus gives us insight as to what the things that will radically change the human paradigm of the cosmos entails. There are three heavens mentioned in the history of the creation: first there is the heaven above, also known as the third heaven and Paradise, the seat of God’s rule over the universe. Then there is the second heaven, also known as the waters, below and the underworld, where all the fallen angels reside. Then there is the first heaven, also called the firmament, which has at its center planet earth, the habitation of the human race. If we read carefully what Jesus said, the stars will fall from heaven, singular, is because Revelation tells us that the stars represent angels, Revelation 1:20 “...The seven stars are the angels…” In Matthew’s case they represent the fallen angels which are thrown out of the second heaven to the earth. Then Jesus adds that the powers of the heavens, plural, will be shaken, which now includes the visible heaven that encompasses the earth, which is also called the firmament and heaven. And that is where the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, singular, when The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light and it is what causes all of the tribes of the earth to mourn as they see Jesus coming to the earth riding on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. How will the human race respond to the infusion of wicked non-human creatures upon our earthly plane? If that is not a new thing, then I do not know what is. What was that you said? You do not believe that something like that will ever happen here on the earth? Revelation 9:1-6 “Then the fifth angel sounded: and I saw a star (angel) fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit (the under world). And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.” I do believe that the rapture would have already taken place by the time that the bottomless pit is opened, but the sign of the Son of Man is something that we will witness from our earthly perch before the rapture takes place, so that we need to ask ourselves, can our faith stand the revelation of such awesome and fearful wonders? Matthew 24:31 “And He will send His angels (after the sign of the Son of Man appears in heaven) with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Keep looking up!
