Top of Page Top of Page THE THREE FROGS Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero Published on 5/30/2023 Revelation 16:13-14 “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” These three demonic spirits jump out like frogs out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet and leap upon the entire world, performing signs and wonders with the goal of deceiving all the humans who inhabit this earth. Unclean spirits always peddle lies against the Word of God, their aim is to keep those who will be saved from sure destruction—once they know the truth—from knowing the truth that Jesus can keep them safe from the judgment of that great day of God Almighty. That great day of God Almighty—as of this writing—is still in the future, but the demonic doctrines represented by these three frogs are alive and present and have been around for centuries now leading many a strayed. That is why Jesus, knowing that many would be exposed to these demonic doctrines, warns us to be watchful and to keep His covering—His promises—on like a garment. Many will say that no one knows the time of the end. That is exactly why we need to keep watch and be ready for today many signs tells us that we may already be in them. Revelation 16:15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” Charles Darwin, Sigmund Freud and Karl Marx are great examples of how this demonic trinity has been working its way into our everyday lives. Through Darwin comes the teaching that the human body evolved from an animal which is a lie. Through Freud comes the teaching that the human mind or soul can be void of morality, that is, if we are nothing more than animals then there should be no guilt or shame nor Day of Judgment. Through the teachings of Marx comes the teachings of socialism or social justice as it is called today, which embodies the aspiration that every aspect of human life can be control by these frog-like demons behind these doctrines. 1 John 2:15-16 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world— the lust of the flesh (Darwin), the lust of the eyes (Freud) and the pride of life (Marx)—is not of the Father but is of the world.” Job 41:34 “He (Leviathan the dragon) beholds every high thing (God’s moral law with contempt); He is king over all the children of pride.” We come to the place in time, where the morality of God’s Law in viewed with contempt by many, and pride for a life style that is against God’s morality is publicly celebrated. What is the difference between humans and animals? Animals are called animals because they are animated by the spirit of life that God infused into the creation when God said let there be and there was and commanded them to be fruitful and to multiply. The human body was made alive when God infused it with the breath of God Almighty Himself directly into Adam’s nostrils and man became a living soul, created in God’s image with a fully functioning conscience. Romans 2:15-16 “Who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.” Long before Moses walked down the mountain with the Ten Commandments in his hands, God had already placed the morality of His righteous law in the hearts of every living soul! Before the great flood, the fallen angels tried desperately to remove the human conscience from the physical body through all kinds of human experiments combining animal and human DNA. For the purpose of controlling the human body without it feeling guilt or regret for their actions in order to avoid God’s law of human resistance against demonic intrusion in the human soul. James 4:7 “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” Those demonic entities failed miserably in their attempt to recreate man into a soulless creature and are now awaiting God’s judgment; all that were left with was the dead bodies of soulless animals without immortality and deprived of the breath of life from their lungs for God drowned them all in the flood. The fruit of their labor was destroyed and prevented from rising again. Isaiah 26:12-14 “Lord, You will establish peace for us, for You have also done all our work in us. O Lord our God, masters beside You have had dominion over us; But by You only we make mention of Your name. They are dead, they will not live (no soul no resurrection); they are deceased they will not rise. Therefore You have punished and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish (no memory no soul).” God owns the souls of all men, for the soul is all the work of God in us. And even though our genetic code has been infused with the frailty and death of the body because of sin, there is immortality promised to men, not only for the soul of man but also for the physical body as well. The blessed hope is the promised resurrection of the physical body. But for the result of those who tampered with this sacred work of God into the soul of man, there will be no resurrection for their demonic product, for the trans-bodies (human-animal) that they engineered bypassing the conscience, cannot rise from the dead and will not rise from the dead for they have no soul; even all the memory of them will be destroyed forever. Daniel 2:43 “As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, THEY WILL MINGLE WITH THE SEED OF MEN; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.” That is the kind of work that is going on today in modern science with artificial intelligence, but Daniel tells us that it will fail again. But many are the victims of these evil works, do not fall prey to them. Keep watch and clothe yourselves with the promises of God. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.” Jesus wants us to put Him on as a garment and then He blesses those who obey Him: Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame. Paul tells us how to put on the armor of light and how to keep our garment of light on and not be deceived. Romans 13:12-14 “The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. Top of Page Top of Page SIN AND REDEMPTION Written by Lisa Kane 11/17/2020 There are several types of sin: lying, murder, witchcraft, homosexuality and many more. Sin is disobeying God and there are many actions God says not to do that we do every day. People lie, cheat, steal, kill, among other things like witchcraft and homosexuality. Let us take a look at homosexuality. How do I know this is a sin? Because the action of this sin goes against what God decrees in His Word to all humankind: Genesis 9:1 & 17 NKJV Vs. 1 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. Vs. 17 And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.” Homosexuality is unfruitful. Two males or two females are not able to produce biological offspring and therefore is not fruitful. Homosexuality disobeys God’s word for all flesh. Does this mean that God doesn’t love you? Absolutely not. Remember, homosexuality is a verb, not a noun. Verbs are actions. The act of lying, the act of murdering, the act of homosexuality etc. are sins that God hates. Not the person, the noun. Does that mean there is something wrong with you? Absolutely not. In fact, quite the opposite. You were made in God’s image and He called us good. Genesis 1:26 NKJV Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;...” Genesis 1:31 NKJV Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day. In fact, what is love? The biggest promotion from the LGBTQ community is that love is love. Here’s a friendly reminder, love is action and the only human to ever prove and show true love is Jesus, and yes, He did this for everyone, and we’ve all sinned. Joel 2:32 NKJV And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be [a]saved. Romans 10:13 NKJV For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Notice how important this statement is? God said it twice: once in the Old Testament and once in the New Testament. Jesus died for ‘whoever’ – no exclusions. That means you’re not excluded either, whether you claim to be homosexual or not. In reality, you’re just another sinner in the world…just like everyone else. Romans 3:23 NKJV for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Here’s love from God: John 3:16 NKJV For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. None of us can come close to that action of love Jesus took on the cross. When the LGBTQ community states love is love, do you love your child so much that you would let him or her burn their hand in the fire on the stove? Of course not. In fact, you love them so much that you smack their hands hoping the sting would let them know not to touch the fire. That’s what believers are doing with those wanting approval of their sin – any sin for that matter. In this particular message, it’s homosexuality. That’s what the LGBTQ community or the spirit behind them is saying…they want to sin and they want us to say it’s ok when God’s word clearly says it’s not. So every time something says the opposite of what they want, it stings, just like getting your hand smacked from your parents when reaching toward a fire; because you know deep down what God is telling you. And if you really want a more direct point blank statement in the bible of homosexuality as a sin, here it is: Leviticus 20:13 NKJV If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. Let’s talk about death here and understand the ramifications of sin in general, and not just the sin of homosexuality. Romans 6:23 NKJV For the wages of sin is death, but the [a]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. The moment that Eve and Adam sinned by pulling the fruit off the tree disobeying God, they started to age. (See, sin is disobeying God.) They didn’t die right away. In fact, it took several hundred years before they finally died. Today’s life expectancy is much shorter but the point is that if you sin, you die. Sin from lying, murder, adultery, homosexuality, witchcraft, etc. leads to death. But God. The gift of God, His Son is eternal life. God is awesome. He dealt with sin by sending His son Jesus to die on the cross so that you could be saved if you want to, and this is from all sin. So you need to ask yourself, do you want to stay in sin or do you want to follow God? I know this stings but it’s your choice. I’d rather you don’t burn in the lake of fire from any sin you commit but see you saved! Romans 10:9-10 NKJV that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. To choose God, say this out loud: Dear Jesus, I’m sorry. I’ve sinned and I ask You to forgive me of my sin and come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for Your forgiveness and mercy. In Jesus’ name Amen! Now it’s up to you whether you want to continue sinning when it’s so obvious God doesn’t want you to. The first thing you need is self-control. This will overcome temptation with sin. How do you obtain self-control? Ask God. Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 [a]gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Say this prayer out loud: Dear Jesus, Thank You for being my Lord and Savior. Help me overcome sin by placing self-control within me. Deliver me and help me stay focused on You. In Jesus name Amen! And just like sin in general, humanity continues to lie, cheat, etc…and when we do, go back to God. Ask Him again to change you and persevere in asking. Continue to ask Him to help you be in His image. He already sees you as that perfect jewel He made in you and He will get you on the right path if you want to. He will keep you from the temptation of whatever sin is your poison if you want to. You just need to talk to God. He’s waiting…start talking. Top of Page I WILL GIVE PEACE Haggai 2:9 “‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of Hosts.” The literal translation for the word temple is house. Although Haggai is speaking about the rebuilding of the temple that had been destroyed, it is also referring to the physical body, which houses the spirit of man, that in a little while in their future, would be indwelled by the Spirit of God. Haggai 2:6-7 “For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts.” We know that Haggai’s prophecy is applicable to the end of days because it is quoted as such in the New Testament. Hebrews 12:26-27 “Whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, ‘Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.’ Now this, ‘Yet once more,’ indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.” The Desire of All Nations is a reference to Jesus Christ. When the Holy Spirit fell upon the believers on the day of Pentecost, all nations were represented in the city of Jerusalem. Acts 2:5 “And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven.” So that we can see the fulfillment of Haggai’s prophecy where God said, I will fill this temple with glory, He was also speaking about filling the physical bodies of His future believers with His glory. And the part of the prophecy that said, I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land, was a reference to His second coming, as explained in the Scripture that we quoted from Hebrews. And it is within this context that He gives us the promise of His peace. I will give peace. Now as we put it all together, we have a chronology of events that paints a picture for us for the times that we are living in, and one thing is made clear to us, we are going to need His inward peace in order to get through these difficult times that it portrays. We need to pray for Inward Peace. Why do we need to pray for peace that passes understanding? Now this, ‘Yet once more,’ indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. The things that are going to be removed are the things that are made, the physical things upon which so many put their lives and energy into. And the reason that God is going to remove them is to see if what is left still has the glory with which He filled the house of all who believe. What would you do if everything that you possess that has been made, all of the sudden is taken away from you in an instant? Will you be at peace in spite of having nothing left of the things that you were so dependent upon? Could you stand in the absence of every comfort and convenience and necessity, and still give heart felt glory to God? Haggai 2:22 “I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms; I will destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms. I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them; the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.” If the rule of law that governs the nations ceases to exist and anarchy reigns, and if the wealth of the nation's collapses, and if the airliners fall from the skies, and if all modes of transportation come to a halt, will you still be at peace? It is hard to imagine going through such a catastrophic scenario, but did you know that many of our fellow believers around the world are going through indescribable trials that are just as bad? There was a plane not too long ago that disappeared from the sky with hundreds of people in it, and to this date, the family members of those who were lost have no idea what happened to their love ones. Another incident, hundreds of school's girls were kidnapped by those who believe that women have no right to be educated. Those who took them by force plan to sell them as slaves. Throughout Africa, the Middle East, China, Europe, and other parts of the world, believers are driven out on a daily basis, out of their homes, and out of their lands. In many instances they become refugees in other nations where they are not welcome, others are imprisoned, tortured and murdered in the very place that they once called home. I know that the tendency of many of us is that such terrible tragedies will not take place here, wherever our here is. But perhaps many of those to whom those bad things happened felt the same way that we do now. This covid-19 is the latest incident that has stopped everything around us. Now why am I saying all this? Well, if you are a believer like me, you are looking for our blessed hope to appear, that is when Jesus returns to take us all away with Him. If you follow prophecy, you know that the signs of His return encompass a heavenly shaking that will remove all those things that have been made, so that the only things that will remain, will be the eternal things like faith, hope, love, and yes, His peace. Although we have many signs around the world that these things are already taking place, and that many of our brethren are being martyred on a daily basis, we really do not want to face these facts and refuse to acknowledge that these are the end of days that we are witnessing. Haggai 1:2 “Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, saying: ‘This people says, “The time has not come, the time that the Lord’s house should be built.”’” As you can see, the Scriptures that we are dealing with in this lesson are clearly referring to the days that we are living in right now. The majority of Christians today live in denial, and do not want to consider that the Lord is about to come because they know that the Day of the Lord involves them losing everything they own in this world. Haggai 1:4 “Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?” Remember that the temple, or house that lies in ruins, refers also to our physical bodies which are the temple of God, the Desire of All Nations. 1 Corinthians 6:19 “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?” This is why we are to put all our emphasis on the spiritual qualities that are ours in abundance, for they reside in the Holy Spirit who is in us. 1 Corinthians 6:20 “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in in your spirit, which are God’s.” I’m sure you are aware of the many warnings that Scripture proclaims in regards to our relationship with this world system. That friendship with the world is enmity with God. Whoever is a friend of the world is an enemy of God. One sure way to know that we have fallen for the deceitfulness of this world system is if we lose our peace when deprived of worldly things. That is why God is going to remove, and is already removing, the worldly things from many of His servants all around the world, to see what is it that remains within their hearts after all that was made in this world system is removed from them. Our turn is coming; if you have a stronghold within your soul for the delicacies of this world, and if you know that your peace would be lost if you were to lose all your belongings that you’ve received from the world; then you are in need of deliverance from those demonic strongholds. You can begin by renouncing your allegiance to this world system, then take an honest look into your heart, and let God remove from you whatever it is that needs to go in order for you to regain your peace. 2 Corinthians 4:2 “But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.” Handle the Word of God truthfully, be honest with yourself and strive to produce spiritual fruit, for only that which is produced by the Holy Spirit who is in you will remain after He shakes both the earth and the heavens. 2 Peter 1:5-10 “But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Top of Page THE END OF THE AGE 1 Corinthians 10:11-12 “Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” Two extremely important points are made by Paul in this portion of Scripture. One being that the church will witness the ends of the ages, notice that is in plural, and the second point is that this period of time will be a perilous time for the children of faith. Why is it that Paul calls it the end of the ages, since we know that the church age will end with the rapture. What other ages is he talking about? In my book Man’s Final Destiny I deal with this in great detail, but here is the basics of it: There are three dispensations that are running right now concurrently: the dispensation of Law represented by the nation of Israel, the dispensation of Human Government represented by the United Nations, and of course the dispensation of Grace represented by the true Church of Jesus Christ. It is worth noting here that right now God only recognizes the true Church of Jesus Christ as the legitimate power authorized by Him to rule over the affairs of men as recorded by Matthew. Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age (the church age).” Amen. After Jesus commanded His disciples to preach the Gospel to the nations of the world, the disciples went out and eventually transformed the world. The doctrine that they preached that changed the nations of the world was known as Judeo Christian principles or values. In the middle of the twentieth century, we saw the rebirth of the nation of Israel and the reunification of the nations of the world in the entity we know today as the United Nations, therefore setting the stage for the fulfillment of our opening text on the last generation: Upon whom the ends of the ages have come. As we follow the chronology given to us in the book of Revelation we find that after the true church is removed in the rapture, that the Lord will set up the nation of Israel and the Law of Moses as the legitimate power here on earth to enforce His will upon the nations of the world. The Two Witnesses, two humans that come from outer space as far as the world’s perspective is concern will be empowered by God to enforce the rule of God’s Law over the nations of the world for 1,260 days. The world will reject them as they have rejected the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Then they will make war against the Two Witnesses, and after the days of their prophecy ends they will be killed by the antichrist which will then become the representative of the nations of the world. It will be upon the antichrist and all his followers that have taken his mark that God will bring His final judgment when He judges the kingdoms of this world, or what we know today as the United Nations. The antichrist will rule for 1,290 days before God begins His judgment against him. The judgment upon his governance will last for forty two days, so that he will rule for a total of 1,332 days. 1,290 + 42 = 1,332 / 2 = 666 After 1,332 days he is captured alive, along with the false prophet, and they are both thrown alive into the Lake of Fire, while the rest of humanity who have the mark of the beast will be killed. This will bring about the conclusion of the ages as Jesus returns to the earth and in three days sets up His one thousand years Day of Rest. Hosea 6:2 “After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His sight.” Daniel 12:11-12 “And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away (the antichrist begins his rule), and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty five-days.” 1,290 + 42 = 1,332 + 3 = 1,335 days. Those who do not receive the mark of the beast and survive the antichrist’s ordeal will come out of their hiding places on the third day after the antichrist’s demise. This will be mainly the Jewish remnant that God protects in secret caves while the rule of the antichrist plays out, along with those that somehow survive the antichrist’s regime without taking the mark or being killed. So that understanding how everything is proceeding as it relates to prophecy is vital for us, so that we can be prepared and ready when His unveiling finally begins. But what about the other warning that Paul gave us in our opening text? Therefore, let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall! 1 Corinthians 10:14 “Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.” It seems odd at first that a warning against idolatry would be issued in relation with the return of our Lord to set up His kingdom. Matthew 24:5,11 “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many...Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.” But as we read about Jesus warning us about false Christ’s and false prophets during the end of the ages we can understand why. Idolatry offers a false Christ and those who follow a false Christ will not be raptured, for they will not recognize the real Jesus when He is revealed. The world will present the return of Jesus as some malevolent alien coming to harm us. Therefore, those believers that fail to recognize the real Jesus will have to earn their salvation as martyr’s during the days of wrath. 1 Corinthians 10:19-20 “What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything? Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons.” So that as the end of the ages comes upon us, since we now know that we are in the last generation, it is imperative for us to know whether the traditions that we are following have a solid biblical foundation or whether they originate from the traditions of men. In other words, will you recognize the real Jesus when He is revealed? Jesus warned us against not just false Christ’s but also against false prophets, that is people who proclaim to preach the real Jesus but in reality they are not, for Jesus told us that they will deceive many. Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” One of the greatest lies that many well-meaning preachers follow today is that since the book of Revelation is difficult to understand and since there are many different interpretations, they rather not preach on it, for it will bring divisions within the church by offending others who do not agree with their particular interpretation. They rather not preach about it and deprive the rest of the congregation of their readiness to meet Jesus when He is finally revealed. Imagine what would happen if you would use that same criterion about any other subject matter in the Bible? Since you cannot not preach on anything that the Bible teaches without offending someone else! Matthew 24:10 “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.” But Jesus warned us about that as well! Revelation 1:3 “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” I was one of those who got frustrated because I could not understand the Book of Revelation. I knew that I was missing out of a big blessing and did not want to live my Christian life in ignorance of the most important prophesied event that could take place during my lifetime here on earth: the return of Christ. All it took was one simple humbled prayer and continuous persevering in reading and studying prophecy and God took care of the rest. Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” How much is it worth it to you to know about the times and the seasons so that you may be ready when Jesus appears? How much is it worth it to you to find out whether you are serving the real Jesus or whether you are following man-made traditions? As you read this, know that there are many Christians all around the world right now facing what to them are insurmountable circumstances. Many have lost their homes to religious persecution. Others have lost their churches to the same. Others are fleeing for their lives as we speak, and many are in dark dungeons and filthy prisons refusing to deny their Lord who saved them. There are no guarantees against us being next, for the passion of the workers of iniquity runs deep, and they will not rest until they silence us and destroy what we believe. So, we better make sure that what we believe does not rest on the fallacies of men, but let our faith rest on the solid foundation of the Word of God and His promises to us. For those who try to destroy the Word and what it promises are themselves destroyed by the fire of God’s jealousy to fulfill all that He promised! House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Top of Page Top of Page THE SPIRIT OF FAITH Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero 6/18/21 Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Faith is the most powerful force in the entire universe: Hebrews 11:3 “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” Without faith it is impossible to understand the invisible things that make up the vast majority of the universe. Faith is also the substance of what we believe to be true or real, and the evidence of those things which are invisible, but still we know that they exist. Faith is awesome! From the biblical perspective faith is revealed as a product or fruit and also as a gift; if we may ask, what is the difference between the two? Galatians 5:22 “But the FRUIT of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, FAITH.” KJV 1 Corinthians 12:9 “To another FAITH by the same Spirit, to another GIFTS of healing by the same Spirit.” All of us have been giving a measure of faith and it is up to us to nurture and to grow—as you would fruit in a plant or a tree—the measure of faith that has been given to us as in seed form. Romans 12:3 “…As God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” The gift of faith is more like an external force, unlike the fruit of faith which is more like an internal force. Do the two of them combine and if they do how do they work together? Think of faith as a car battery which stores the power needed to run the car. When the battery runs down—for whatever reason—it struggles to start the engine, in which case you connect it to another energy source with jumping cables. The external energy aids the internal one when they combine. The gift of faith provides the extra boost needed when the fruit of our faith fails us. Mark 9:24 “Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, ‘Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!’” This troubled father brought to the disciples of Jesus, his son who was in desperate need for deliverance from demonic torment; the disciples were unable to help the tormented boy. When the father of the boy saw Jesus and told Him about his situation, Jesus replied to him that all he needed was faith: Mark 9:23 “Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’” So the father had faith for he said to Jesus: I believe! But his faith was struggling and needed help, and Jesus did not hesitate to give it to him. Jesus helped him to overcome his unbelief. Jesus used this opportunity to teach His disciples about their need for more prayer and fasting to increase their faith when dealing with demonic strongholds. But our point is made that when our faith needs help, if we, with a sincere heart come to Jesus, with tears as if it were in desperate need, He will not fail to help us in our time of need, for He is faithful and He will not deny Himself. 2 Timothy 2:11-13 “This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him. If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He will also deny us. If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” Notice that it said: If we endure, we shall also reign with Him or have power from Him. The mark of true faithfulness is endurance; we never give up regardless of the outcome. Another way of connecting with this external force called ‘The gift of faith’ is through spiritual discernment. There is a time and place for everything the Bible tells us. Luke 5:17 “Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And THE POWER OF THE LORD WAS PRESENT TO HEAL THEM .” Italics mine. What does it mean by: The power of the Lord was present to heal them? I believe that this is what it means: THE SPIRIT OF THE GIFT OF FAITH was present! There was an atmosphere conducive to merge the internal force of the fruit of faith with the external power of the gift of faith. Luke 5:18 “Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him.” Notice that the Pharisees and the teachers of the law did not perceive that the power of the Lord was present to heal them. Men whose names are not mentioned recognized that the power to heal was present, to such a degree, that when their way to Jesus was blocked by the crowds they climbed to the roof and lowered the paralyzed man down from the roof in front of Jesus. Wouldn’t you like to be friends with men of such faith like theirs? They saw the need of their friend and perceived that the power was present, so they persevered. What was it that blocked or hindered the Pharisees and the teachers of the law from perceiving that the Spirit of Faith was present? They did not believe that Jesus was their Promised Anointed One! Luke 5:21 “And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, ‘Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?’” What is salvation? To be forgiven by God from all our sins! Salvation is God’s personal Gift to all mankind. Salvation came as a human man. He came to His own and His own received Him not. But to those who believed in Him, to them gave He power, the promised of the Father; to be filled with the Holy Spirit of God. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior you have been given the Gift of eternal life and abundant life. That internal faith that brought salvation to your soul is looking to connect with that external gift of faith that brings power to transform your life to be a glorious testimony for Jesus, the Savior of your soul. Matthew 23:19 “Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or THE ALTAR THAT SANCTIFIES THE GIFT?” It is when we bring the measure of faith that God gave to us to God’s altar that our faith is sanctified, and we are saved. In the same way it is, when we bring the fruit of internal faith to God’s altar that we get connected to the Gift of Faith that brings the power to heal and restore. Psalm 85:9 “Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land.” We receive our salvation through the measure of faith given to all of us since birth. As we receive Jesus as our Savior this measure of faith is sanctified on God’s altar. His salvation is near to those who fear Him. But for His glory to dwell in the land, or to be manifested through us, we need to connect to the gift of faith that comes from above. James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” Psalm 85:10-11 “Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed. Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven.” As we declare that Jesus is our Savior and our Lord the Spirit of truth springs out of us and meets with the God of mercy, God’s righteousness that looks down from heaven and our faith becomes one powerful force that cannot be stopped. Truth from within us meets mercy from above us. John 14:17 “The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be with you.” Psalm 86:11 “Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; UNITE MY HEART TO FEAR YOUR NAME. ” Italics mine. The apostle Paul compels us not to look at the tangible things which are seen, but rather look at the things which are not seen, the spiritual things which cannot be measure, for they are eternal.   Top of Page WONDERS OF HEAVEN PART II 2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we do not look at the things which are seen (physical things), but at the things which are not seen (spiritual things). For the things which are seen are temporary (bound to decay), but the things which are not seen are eternal (transcend time and space).” Our modern day science has finally discovered what the Bible has been teaching since the book of Genesis, and that is, that all physical, or a better word might be, all tangible matter, exists on a three dimensional realm that is entangled in a web called entropy, a death spiral that affects all things which can be measured and exist in the present tense. They’ve also discovered that the atomic particles of which all tangible matter is comprised of, that they are eternal, in other words, all sub-atomic particles transcend time and space. They are not bound to the present tense, for quantum mechanics proves that these sub-atomic particles can be in two places at the same time, we know they do so but we cannot witness it because we are stuck in a present perspective that allows us to see them only in one place at a time. Psalm 95:7 “...Today, if you will hear His voice.” Hebrews 4:7 “Again He designates a certain day, saying in David, ‘Today,’ (the present) after such a long time…” So that all tangible creatures, along with the tangible creation, reside in a three dimensional realm that is locked in its present state of decay that limits its interaction with the invisible eternally made things. Yet the apostle Paul compels us not to look at the tangible things which are seen, but rather look at the things which are not seen, the spiritual things which cannot be measure, for they are eternal. They may not even know it, but science has proved that there is a four dimensional realm where the intangible resides and transcends time and space, sounds like a pretty good description of heaven to me. Jude 6 “And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.” Jude tells us that the four-dimensional realm is the abode or habitation of the angels, and that they were capable, at one time, and left that four-dimensional realm and interfered with our three-dimensional realm of the present, and that because of such violation those trespassing angels are now bound by everlasting chains, everlasting because they are four dimensional, eternal creatures, awaiting their final judgment. 1 Corinthians 13:1 “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels…” We also know from Paul’s statement to the Corinthian church that the angels have their own language, a spiritual language that its spoken in the angelic realm, which means that intelligent creature's dwell in that four-dimensional realm. Hold the presses, the search for extraterrestrial life is over, we found them, and we know where they live! Kidding aside, environmentally speaking, what are the basic differences between the third and fourth dimensions and their inhabitants? Let’s deal with the creatures first, how do we differ from the angels? 1 Corinthians 15:50 “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. The way that our human bodies process the energy needed to sustain life is in the blood, and it is our blood that has been corrupted and what keeps us from becoming physically eternal, which would mean bodily entering into the fourth dimension. Leviticus 17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood…” Since our physical bodies are formed in a tangible manner to reflect our three dimensional physical environment we were meant to occupy, we can safely assume that the angelic bodies are formed to operate within the environment that they were meant to occupy as well, the invisible and eternal realm of energy or of sub-atomic particles. The angelic realm is comprised of energy creatures who are eternal and exist in eternity, and they are capable of manipulating the energy that forms their invisible bodies into any three dimensional shape or form, but they must follow the heavenly protocol that guides the interactions between the physical and spiritual realms. Hebrews 13:2 “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.” Here we see Paul telling the dispersed Hebrews that by operating in the spirit of brotherly love, some believers have unwittingly allowed angels to enter into their homes, obviously to bring in some kind of heavenly blessing, that they would otherwise not been allowed to impart had not they been invited into their house. Judges 13:20 “It happened as the flame went up toward heaven from the altar—the Angel of the Lord ascended in the flame of the altar! When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell on their faces to the ground.” Samson’s parents after having an encounter with the Angel of the Lord who told them about their future son and how they were to handle her pregnancy, decided to offer up a sacrifice to the Lord, and as they did they marveled as to how the Angel of the Lord entered into the flames of the sacrifice and rode them up into heaven, the invisible realm. Remember that a fire is energy that is being released, so that an energy creature would not have any problems integrating with other forms of energy, specially since the symbolism of the burn-offering sacrifice was to release the three dimensional visible offering into the invisible fourth dimension. Psalm 104:4 “Who makes His angles spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.” Now to the locality, what is the basic difference between the physical and the spiritual dimension? Time! Since time is the fourth dimension, and since we have our own three dimensional concept of time, we fail to put time within its proper perspective. But if we come to realize that we only have one perspective of time, which is the present, and if we view time from its four dimensional entirety, which is past, present, and future, then we can form a better understanding of eternity. Psalm 8:5 “For you have made him (man) a little lower than the angels…” At first glance we would say that being eternal is better than being mortal, so the question must be asked, why did God make us lower than the angels and placed us in an inferior physical realm? Psalm 8:6 “You have made him (man) to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.” Well, according to God we were made lower so that we would become greater, which leads me to ask this question, what advantage then, do we mortals have over those who are already immortal? Time! If being stuck in the present is our greatest disadvantage, then it most also be our greatest advantage to be stuck in Today since it was God who placed us in it to begin with. Psalm 95:7 “...Today, if you will hear His voice.” If I hear His voice Today, what does it mean? What that means is that there is hope for me tomorrow. Which is better, that which has already exhausted all its potentials and is what it is forever? Or that from which its potentials have not been fully tapped yet and can therefore surpass that which is already static? I know that it sounds a little complicated but let me explain. The angelic host were created perfect and placed in a perfect realm, the spiritual realm. They were given free will which gave them the potential to excel but also to rebel, some did rebel, and their rebellion was fatal, since they lived in eternity the minute they sinned they were dammed forever and could not be redeemed. So that for those who fell in that realm there was no future to delivered them from their disobedience. Enter the physical realm, a place where not only mistakes are made, but also a place where faith is perfected, where we can learn to trust today the promises of God for tomorrow. Think of our present reality as an eternal life simulation, where we can learn how to handle all that eternal life has to offer through the auspices of faith, and if we crash or fail at some point, it is not fatal as long as we are still alive, for that will mean that we are still in the qualifying face of our training, since death is the door into the fourth dimension, the eternity into which we all must enter one day. But here is the kicker, flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God, but flesh and bones will. Luke 24:39 “Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me (touch Me) and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” The greatest wonder of all the creation is that the resurrected human physical bodies will be eternally powered, energized, by the Word of the Living God, they will not have any blood in them. The sub-atomic particles that comprised every human creature that ever lived, contained within themselves all of the information that was gathered while that body was alive, those bodies will one they be re-instituted to their original form, those who passed the test of faith, will be made eternally perfect and reunited with the soul that lived in them. This reality will be made visibly to the world before the judgment of God takes place, when the wall of partition between the third physical dimension and the fourth spiritual dimension is removed and the physical glorified body of Jesus Christ is finally revealed for all of us believers to marveled, but it will come full of dreadful fear for those who will be judged because they did not believe the Gospel of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10 “Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
