PSALM 90 The objective of this lesson is to reveal the hidden prophetic depth within Psalm 90, showing how Moses encoded an overview of human history, time, and eternity. The study emphasizes the brevity of life, the inevitability of trials, and the hope of eternal glory for those who walk in faith. It aims to teach believers how to view time from God’s perspective, to number their days with wisdom, and to live passionately for God while leaving behind a legacy of faith and righteousness. PSALM 90 Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of this lesson is to reveal the hidden prophetic depth within Psalm 90, showing how Moses encoded an overview of human history, time, and eternity. Synopsis: In Psalm 90, Moses offers a sweeping vision of God’s eternal nature contrasted with man’s fleeting existence. The psalm begins by affirming the Lord as humanity’s dwelling place throughout all generations, pointing to a timeline of 144 generations culminating in the last days. Moses reveals that life is a cycle of turning and returning, where death precedes new life, and mortality is transformed into immortality through Christ. Verses 2–4 expand on the vastness of God’s eternity—time flowing from “everlasting to everlasting.” Human existence, by contrast, is fragile, like grass that flourishes in the morning but withers by evening. Yet within this frailty lies the promise of transcendence, where trials and afflictions are not meaningless but part of God’s refining work. The psalm underscores life’s brevity—seventy or eighty years—and the reality that without faith, it is filled only with labor and sorrow. But for the believer, life points to a glorious destiny: the rapture, resurrection, and eternal dwelling with Christ. Passion for God, rooted in reverence and dependence on His mercy, becomes the key to wisdom. The prayer of the psalmist becomes ours: to live joyfully under God’s mercy, to endure affliction knowing it brings greater glory, and to pass on faith to the next generation. The psalm closes with a plea for God to establish the work of our hands. True legacy is not found in earthly achievements but in works anchored in God, which He alone sustains into eternity. Thus, Psalm 90 teaches us to measure time not by fleeting days, but by eternal impact, living with heaven as our final home. Inspired Teaching: Psalm 90:1 "Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations." Moses wrote twelve psalms, songs that the children of Israel were to memorize and recall, in pretty much the same manner that we remember the lyrics of songs today that we learned in days past. Except that in the songs that Moses wrote he encoded messages that would reveal to those living in the end times the events that would befall them. Psalm 90 to 100 record eleven songs and Deuteronomy chapter thirty two records the other one. This is what Moses said about the songs that he wrote: Deuteronomy 32:46-47 "...Set your hearts on all the words which I testify among you today, which you shall command your children to be careful to observe—all the words of this law. For it is not a futile thing for you, (memorizing the words) because it is (the story of) your life, and by this word you shall prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to possess." Notice that Psalm 90 begins with the words our dwelling place in all generations, meaning that within this Psalm we should find encoded an abbreviated history of the human race from our first generation to the last one. Generations: A revolution of time, an age. From a root word that means; to gyrate (move in a circle). Strong's # 1755 & 1752 I believe that there are 144 generations from Adam and Eve to the last generation, out of which some will be rapture out of this world before that last generation comes to an end, and the rest, those who are left behind, will go through God's refining fire before their time for entering into God's Day of Rest comes to pass for all those who are qualified to enter it after going through His Day of Wrath. Psalm 90:2 "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God." Everlasting to everlasting speaks of the time that existed before our present time began which I call Infinity Time, which is also the time place that we will be going to after our present time which I call Eternity Time ends. So that our present existence came out from infinity and it will return back to infinity, after the completion of a gyration of time which is measured as 144 generations. Everlasting: Concealed, the vanishing point, time out of mind (past or future). From a root word that means; terminus, (by implication) duration, in the sense of advance or perpetuity. Strong's # 5769 & 5703 So that once our present time and space which I call Eternity Time reaches the vanishing point, all the present creation will be done away with by fervent heat, and a new heaven and a new earth will be created and advanced into Infinity Time for perpetuity, with all those humans who passed the test elevated into a new existence as jewels for the crown of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ, the son of man, the firstborn over all creation. Those human jewels being formed out of the trials of faith from of all seven dispensations. Psalm 90:3 "You turn man to destruction, and say, 'Return, O children of men.'" Verse three deals with the process of turning and returning. Before something can be constructed it first has to be destructed. Before man can be clothed in infinity he first has to experience the nakedness of death; one cannot ascend unless one first descends, that's the principle of creation. A seed cannot germinate unless it dies to self first, then and only then it can transcend. That is the duality of all the creation. So that within the first three verses of Psalm 90 we see the hidden mystery of time before and time after, the revolutions of time and the product of time. One hundred and forty four generations in seven dispensations of time turning and returning: 144 + 7 + 2 = 153. John 21:11 "Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken." The number one hundred and fifty-three symbolizes the final tally of all the souls that transcend from their mortality into life everlasting: out of every generation and out of every dispensation they were marked for destruction, the destruction of their mortality, into the immortality of their deliverer, the One who conquered death, hell and the grave. The One who has been given a name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord to the glory of God our Father. Psalm 90:4 "For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night." In verse four we see the propagation of time from the spiritual vantage point. To us time is set because we are confined to the present, we live from day to day, one day at the time. Not so for the spiritual dwellers, one day for them can mean a thousand years or a fourth of one night. The idea here is for us to keep life within the proper perspective; life is a process of ebb and flow, starting and ending, waxing and waning. We have a tendency to succumb to the finality of things, when in reality nothing is final until we are finally in His glorious presence. For there the pain ends, the suffering is no more, the tears no longer flow, and in the knowledge of Him we transcend time itself. That is the lesson that we can learn from this Psalm, that we can live in His presence right now by faith and make that our final answer. Psalm 90:5-9 "You carry them away like a flood; they are like a sleep. In the morning they are like grass which grows up: In the morning it flourishes and grows up; in the evening it is cut down and withers. For we have been consumed by Your anger, and by Your wrath we are terrified. You have set our iniquities before You, our secret sins in the light of Your countenance. For all our days have passed away in Your wrath; we finish our years like a sigh." Verses five through nine describe the process of our turning and returning. Like a flood and like a dream and like the grass that grows up, here one moment and gone the next. Oh the futility that life is without faith that transcends a life of mortality. Though mortals in the human sense, though bound to the present tense, consumed and terrified as we see our days passing away, still we dare to raise our faith above the mundane. You see, when our spirit dares to believe that there is more to life than what we see with our mortal eyes; when we look at our afflictions through the spiritual perspective of time, infinite time, then life is a joyous journey. For the joy that was set before Him Christ endured the horrors of the cross. If we stay focus on the price we can overcome the pain and make our present life a spiritual Eden. Romans 8:18 "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." Don't you wish sometimes, when we find ourselves in the middle of a very difficult and unpleasant situation, that we could just fly away somewhere? There is such a place for the child of faith, a place that can only be reached through the wings of prayer and praise. It is called the place of sweet surrender; it is the place where we lay down our struggles, our fears and doubts, our lack of understanding and all our sorrows. There we just simply resign ourselves to His good and perfect will for us. Psalm 90:10 "The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty years, yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away." For the joy that is set before us, if we can have but a taste of it, can make us do what no other non human creature could ever achieve: Belief. We could call it faith, or trust , or rapture, or complete abandonment to a cause, but real faith is rooted in the knowledge that we are loved, that we are accepted, that we transcend time and space, that we are very valuable to someone who is very special. Our destiny could never be fulfilled by the things of this world, for we are not made of things that go to waste; we are eternal! Every joint, every marrow, every bone and every sinew, every cell and every atom that our bodies are comprise of will someday be made eternal in the fashion of the resurrected body of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who flew away, but according to His promises is soon coming back for us. John 14:1-3 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." So that after the overall journey for all mankind is marked out in verses five through nine, the individual's journey is set as a brief one, marked with labor and sorrow but with the steadfast promise of soon being cut off and then we fly away. Psalm 90:11 "Who knows the power of Your anger? For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath." Here is the essence of the lesson that life teaches us: Passion is the human virtue that must be channeled in the right or godly direction. Our God is a passionate God, our Savior is a passionate Savior, our love and convictions for Him must as well be full of passion. A passion for life is a passion for God. The passionate does not quit just because the going gets a little hard. The fear of the righteous is the thought that they may fail to fulfill God's destiny for their lives. Psalm 90:12 "So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." Passion teaches patience, the patient learns the wisdom that says: the attainment of the goal is all that really matters. Is not how we get to heaven that's important, getting there that's the thing! Is not what we take to heaven that matters but who we take to heaven! The desire of the passionate is this: Psalm 90:13 "Return, O Lord! How long? And have compassion on Your servants." The worst thing that a believer could ever do is to fall in love with the world. Earthly desires must never trump our heavenly calling. The best way to stay focus is to be dependent and remain dependent of His Grace and Mercy at all times. Psalm 90:14 "Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days!" Misguided passion tends to lead us into worthless religion. The sooner we learn that within us nothing good dwells, the better we are. Because true passion will lead us to the cross road of total and complete dependence on Him. True brokenness can make us to be glad all of our days, because in true brokenness there is no fear, because perfect love casts out all fear! Psalm 90:15 "Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us, the years in which we have seen evil." In verse fifteen we see the law of cause and effect at work; this law not only applies to the physical universe, but is one of those laws that transcends and has a spiritual application as well. Is the law of sowing and reaping, and it has to do with the fact that the more affliction a person endures, the greater the rewards. The more that we die (to self) the greater that our life experience will be. In the natural, the greater the pain, the greater the gain. In the spiritual, true life can best be experienced from our death bed. Where the emphasis is not placed in what we have lived, but rather, in what we have failed to live. In the spiritual realm perspective is everything. Psalm 90:16 "Let Your work appear to Your servants, and Your glory to their children." If our lives do not leave a legacy of glory, glory to the One who is faithful and by us being faithful and passing on our faithfulness to our children, then what that means is that we did not fully appreciate the work that was assigned to us in this life, for after all we are but one in one hundred and forty-four generations. Look at nature itself and it will tell you that existence without propagation is extinction of the species. Psalm 90:17 "And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands." Only God can sustain and maintain the work of a person after they fly away, and it is only when we labor in His work that our labor will never be in vain! As it is written: Isaiah 61:3 "...To give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified." RELENT OR RESIST The objective of this teaching is to help believers discern whether to resist or endure adversity by aligning their decision-making with the Word of God. It aims to provide spiritual clarity on the difference between trials permitted by God for the testing of faith and attacks from the enemy, guiding Christians to walk in obedience to God’s will without allowing carnality or generational resistance to cloud their judgment. RELENT OR RESIST Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to help believers discern whether to resist or endure adversity by aligning their decision-making with the Word of God. It aims to provide spiritual clarity on the difference between trials permitted by God for the testing of faith and attacks from the enemy, guiding Christians to walk in obedience to God’s will without allowing carnality or generational resistance to cloud their judgment. Synopsis: In Relent or Resist, Pastor Marcos Marrero addresses the vital question of how Christians should respond to adversity: should they endure it as a test from God or resist it as an attack from the enemy? Using Romans 9:19 and other Scriptures, he explains that resisting the Holy Spirit results in opposing God’s will, while discernment comes from a circumcised heart and ear—removing carnality and listening to God’s Word rather than focusing solely on the pain of trials. He highlights the generational struggle of resisting God, tracing it back to Adam and Eve’s fall, and contrasts that with the redemptive work of Christ, the Tree of Life, who restores access to God’s promises. Pastor Marcos teaches that true spiritual circumcision occurs when believers are fully persuaded they belong to Christ, holding fast to His promises even when discernment falters. Through biblical examples and practical application, the teaching stresses that trials and deliverance often work hand in hand. Adversities may arise from the corruption of fleshly choices or from persecution due to living faithfully in Christ. The key is honest self-examination: are hardships the result of losing spiritual “saltiness,” or are they a sign of faithful witness against a corrupt world? Ultimately, Pastor Marcos reminds believers that when their hearts are surrendered and their ears attuned to the Spirit, they will know whether to resist with the sword of the Spirit or relent and endure with steadfast faith. In both paths, God’s promises remain sure, and His purposes will be fulfilled in the lives of His children. Inspired Teaching: Romans 9:19 “You will say to me then, ‘Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?’” How do we know, when an adverse circumstance rises against us, if we are to resist it, or just accept it and endure it? Here is what I mean, if the adversity is a trial sent to us from God for the testing of our faith, we would not want to fail the test by resisting the adverse circumstance to the point where we renege our faith on His promise that if we endure trials faithfully, He will see us through them. But if it is an attack from the enemy, we want to come against it head on and defeat it, for we are told that if we submit to God and resist the devil that he will flee from us. Acts 7:51 “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.” The Scripture in Acts gives us a tremendous insight into how vital it is for our wellbeing to be able to know when we are to resist adversity, and when we are to relent and endure them. Because if we are resisting the Holy Spirit we are fighting against the will of God for our lives, and that is not going to be good for anybody. Uncircumcised in heart and ears. Circumcision is a type for the removal of the flesh from the life-giving ordinances of God, in other words, we need to remove our carnality from the decision making process. That resolves the first part of the problem. An uncircumcised ear is one that focuses on the adversity alone, and by doing so, the heart, where the decision-making process takes place, is compromised, for it cannot make an informed decision since it is only receiving one side of the adversity, we are facing, which is the pain it causes, and not what the potential benefits, if any, might be. As your fathers did, so do you. The second part of the problem is generational; resisting the will of God for our lives is embedded within our human genes, courtesy of the fall of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, the Paradise of God for us. Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden to prevent them from partaking of the fruit of the Tree of Life, for had they eaten from it in their rebelliously carnal state, they would have become like the fallen angels, unredeemable and eternally dammed forever. In God’s plan of redemption for humanity, Jesus who is the Tree of Life, hung naked on the cross to cover our nakedness with His holiness, and opened the door for us back into the Paradise of God where we can freely partake of the fruit of the Tree of Life, which is His Word/Promises. John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” So that our decision-making process, concerning anything, has to be based on the Word of God instead of what the flesh is experiencing! How do we circumcise our hearts and ears? Romans 9:9 “For this is the word of promise…” We have to begin at the point of our salvation. Our salvation is the result of God’s promises to mankind. In Jesus, the Seed of the woman, all the promises of God given to us can be attained. For there is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved and delivered. Acts 4:12 “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Spiritually speaking, what I am trying to say is that if we are fully persuaded that we belong to Jesus Christ, and we know for a fact that His Holy Spirit is within us, and we are convinced that He has a plan and a purpose for our lives, and that His plan and purpose is the very best for us, then nothing else really matters does it? What I’m saying is that as long as we are fully committed to His good will and great and precious promises for us, the result can never be in doubt, even if our discernment fails us at times, for as it is written: Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” What that does for us is that it takes the pressure off from our decision-making process. Hey, I don’t want to suffer a minute longer than I have to in order to obtain God’s promises for my life, for I do not enjoy suffering. But I know that if I somehow miss a turn and have to go around the block one extra time or two, it is not going to stop God from getting me there, for this is what He promised me: Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” True deliverance, or circumcision of the heart begins, when we finally cross a threshold in our hearts that says: I belong to God, and I am fully committed to His will for my life, therefore nothing is going to keep me from fulfilling His will and purpose for my life. When adversity comes our way, and our hearts are in tune with the words that Jesus speaks to us, which are spirit and truth—spiritual truth—we will know instantly if we are to resist the adversity with the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God, or if we are to relent and let the work of adversity work its way through, in the meanwhile we strengthen our faith while the persecution is crossing our path. John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” We need to remember that often times deliverance and tribulation go hand in hand. Now why is that? In the circumcision typology, the life-giving male semen gets corrupted as it comes in contact with the flesh, the foreskin, as it is spread abroad. The two-fold covenant of circumcision with Abraham was given as a type for those who were entrusted with the propagation of God’s Word, that they were to keep it from contamination. For the Jews who are the heirs of the physical promise—the Holy Land, the ritual was a physical act to be performed on every newborn Jewish boy on the eighth day. Paul infuses into the church the spiritual implication of the two-fold circumcision covenant that God made with Abraham. Colossians 2:10-13 “And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands (spiritual circumcision), by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses.” What Paul is saying is that for those of us who are saved, being buried with Jesus in baptism at the moment of our spiritual rebirth, eight being the number that represents a new beginning, we were spiritually circumcised, as babes in Christ. We are His body here on earth, the church, and it falls upon us to broadcast or propagate His Life-giving Word to a world that is barren. But if that Life-giving Word is contaminated by the dead works of the flesh, it loses its power to raise those who are dead back to the spiritual life that was once promised to those who would believe. Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” So, going back to our opening do we relent or resist question; the adversities and tribulations we are suffering, are they caused by our losing our saltiness or is it because of our saltiness that we bear then? Your honest answer to that question will guide you into which path you need to take. If you are being trampled underfoot by men, then it is time for you to let go of the flesh that is contaminating the promises of God for your life, and keeping them from coming to full fruition in you. On the other hand, if you are being persecuted for taking a firm stand on the Word of God in this corrupt world, for salt is the antidote to corruption, then you should bear the tribulations gladly, for they are a sign of the effectiveness of your walk with Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 4:12-14 “Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory (your spiritual walk) and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.” Previous Next Home

THE PARDON The objective of this message is to teach believers about the meaning and power of Christ’s pardon—His remission of sins through the shedding of His blood. The teaching seeks to build boldness and confidence in approaching God, demonstrating how Jesus’ sacrifice tore the veil, granting direct access to the Holy of Holies. It aims to help listeners consciously understand their forgiveness, live in freedom from sin, and embrace their sanctification and justification through Christ. < Back THE PARDON Minister Lisa Kane May 28, 2023 Objective: The objective of this message is to teach believers about the meaning and power of Christ’s pardon—His remission of sins through the shedding of His blood. Synopsis: In “The Pardon,” Lisa Kane explains the profound significance of Jesus’ sacrifice as the ultimate high priest, sacrificial lamb, and returning king. Drawing primarily from Hebrews chapters 9 and 10, the message begins by comparing the Old Testament system of sacrifices—where priests offered the blood of animals once a year in the Holy of Holies—with the New Covenant established through Christ’s own blood. The tearing of the temple veil at Jesus’ crucifixion symbolizes believers’ direct access to God’s presence. Lisa highlights that the remission of sins, or pardon, is more than forgiveness—it is a complete cancellation of guilt, secured once for all through Christ’s blood. Unlike the temporary covering of sins in the old system, Jesus’ sacrifice brought eternal redemption, justification, and sanctification. Believers are encouraged to boldly enter God’s throne room, knowing that His pardon makes them righteous and grants authority to live transformed lives. The message also emphasizes the importance of allowing this truth to penetrate the conscience, leading to a deep awareness of being forgiven and loved. Through testimonies, scripture references, and practical applications, Lisa urges listeners to live as walking testimonies of God’s pardon—ministering His grace to others and boldly claiming His promises in every area of life. The teaching concludes with a call to embrace this covenant of love and approach God with confidence, trusting that He is faithful and His pardon is eternal. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and I'm recording this on Sunday, May 28th, 2023. Welcome. This message is called the pardon. Let's open up a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your anointing. We thank you for your presence, Lord. I bless this word and I ask for your blessing on it. And I pray that it is spoken eloquently through your Holy Spirit, Father God. And I pray that people understand the boldness and the confidence that they can enter into the Holy of Holies with your pardon, Father God. That they can go boldly before you and just say, "Lord," and then whatever it is that they need, their needs will be met and they will be saved. Thank you, Father God, for showing them your word and showing them the boldness and the confidence that they can have entering into your Holy of Holies. In the name of Jesus, amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go into our opening scripture here. We're going to be in Hebrews mostly 9 and 10. Uh but this is going to be our final scripture as well as our opening scripture. Now where there is remission of these meaning remission of sins, there is no longer an offering for sin. Now the word remission there means pardon. It's like a governor pardoning someone who's been accused and has served some amount of time in jail. The the whole point of Jesus doing his remission, which is giving him his blood. We're going to talk about that here in a moment. He pardoned us. Pardon us. And he basically forgave us and we can be forgiven over and over and over and we're forgiven for a lifetime whether we choose to live for Christ or not. God blesses with healing. Sometimes he heals unbelievers and they will never believe. However, God knows the heart of men and he works with them. Amen. So, here we are. Look at this again. And I want to show it to you. Now, this is Hebrews 10:18. Now, where there is remission or pardon of these, there is no longer an offering of sin. So, let's talk about the offering. the temple. The um when Moses was given the directions of creating a tabernacle, he had been given specific instructions of what to make, even including all the utensils and everything that was part of the tabernacle. So basically, he built a moving tabernacle with a tent across the wilderness for 40 years. So that was built within that. Solomon built his temple later on. Um and then a second temple was built after Solomon. And then we had we're going to have a third temple built here. Now in this temple, it's kind of interesting how this was set up. There's a front room and a back room. When you walk in through the festival, the front room is right there and it had the lampstand which is the manora, the word which is the first five books of the Torah and uh the showbread that is what was in this room and this is where the normal daily priest would do their normal activities. That's how they operated was in this room. Well, next to that room was a veil and that veil was a very thick veil. Very, very thick. No one could cross it except the high priest once a year to ask mercy over the nation of Israel. And inside the holy of holies was the ark of the covenant. And the ark of the covenant is if you go read David and how he brought it to the to the city of David. One man touched it accidentally. He was killed. The ark of the covenant would bless whomever it laid whomever had it. So I think the city of Gan ended up having it for a while. They were blessed immensely as far as I can understand from scripture. So th this is how the holy of holies worked. That was the communication. This is God's spirit here in this box. So well and in those days too when a priest would make his daily sacrifice. He would sacrifice the rams and the bull blood and all that stuff. Well he had to take that in once a year to this holy of holies. And the ark of the covenant had a mercy seat sitting on it. So basically, he was putting the blood of bulls and the blood of rams on this mercy seat to ask for forgiveness, which God didn't really want that. He wanted his son's blood, which we're going to get to here in a moment. But here, he's laying the blood down. And as I understand it, he laid it on one side of the mercy seat and the other side was for the blood of the son of God, the Messiah that was coming. So they had kept it separate. But um this was such a I you know I want you to understand something here because we're going to be talking about going into boldness and the confidence with our pardon and going into that holy of holies. You see no one could enter that holy of holies until Jesus tore the veil. We're going to get to that. But when the high priest would go in once a year, they put bells on the bottom of his robes and they tied a rope around his ankle. Why? Because if he died in there, how else were they going to get his body out? And sometimes he would die and so they'd pull his body out. Either God rejected their their sacrifice or whatever the circumstance it was. It was between that priest, the nation of Israel and God at that time. But that's how this operated. So now let's go a little further because I want you to see how the pardon affected all of that which was all Old Testament and then it changed into the New Testament. So we're going to go to Hebrews. We're going to look in chapter 9 11-2. But Christ came as high priest of the good things to come. Let's pause here for a moment and understand, realize that Christ is the priest, the Messiah. He's the ultimate sacrifice. So in essence, he came for three roles. I always preach two roles, but I'm going to go here and go a little bolder here. So he came as a priest. He's the one who took his blood, his own blood, because he also came as a sacrifice to put on the holy of holies, the mercy seat or in the holy of holies on the mercy seat. And he's going to come back as king. So he had a threefold role that I know of just at at the time of this teaching. And so here that boldness, Jesus had to do all this. So look at what Paul is saying here in Hebrews. But Christ came as high priest of the good things to come. Because he's telling the Israelites, I know that you crucified him. You rejected him. But I'm letting you know that you can get salvation still and you can repent and have a pardon. This is what Paul is trying to teach the Hebrews. So as he's trying to teach us, he's letting them know, listen, he came as a priest first. He had to come as a priest first. So watch this. to come with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands that is not of this creation. He knew Jesus is the one who wrote the entire Bible and provided the right words to the authors at any time that they wrote throughout the years. So the Jesus is the author of the holy word of God. He's the one who engineered this all. He's the one who said, "Let there be light." And because he was doing that, he was preparing the old history. These are not stories. These are events that took place. He's preparing these old events as a foreshadow of what is to come. The Messiah himself. This is what Paul is uh referring to. He had a he had a tabernacle in heaven, not made with hands. It's not of this creation. And it's in another world, another dimension, the heavenly realm, not here on earth. But what we now he had to fulfill both. He had to fill the heavenly one, he had to fulfill the earthly one because Moses anointed the earthly one with blood and made a covenant and a covering over them. So he had to fulfill he Jesus was a very busy person at this time. Amen. Let's continue on. Now we're in verse 12. Not with the blood of goats and calves, which is what, by the way, I'm going to pause here. Which is what Moses sanctified the Holy of Holies, the Ark of the Covenant, the first five books of the Torah, the Bible, he had anointed it all with blood. All the utensils, the curtains, the walls. He anointed it with blood. Blood of what? Goats and calves. But now look at what Jesus does. Not with the blood of goats and calavs, but with his own blood, he entered the most holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. So, here's Jesus. He's on the cross. He's about to die. He can't die. Why can't he die? He has no sin in him. There's no sin in the Messiah from birth to the point of death. What God had to do was pour sin out on top of him. And here's what's mo most amazing. Okay, so the need is met now for death because you got to have the blood sacrifice. We're going to see how death was a huge role in this. Why Jesus had to die because he could have just walked off that cross and kept going if he wanted to. He had the power and the authority to do it. He chose not to because he knew he had to give you a pardon. He came for the remission of sins. The word remission means pardon. He pardoned the sins. So understand because he pardoned them, he had to die. So when the sins was placed on his body, the blood saw it and cleansed it, but it allowed him to die. It allowed the blood go onto the mercy seat, and it allowed him to fulfill the promise, which is pardon of the sins, remission of the sins. That's what Jesus did. He had to do it and the blood had to be done for that. Let's continue on now. Look at So, oh, and so what happens here something remarkable. His blood comes out of his body, drips down, and either an angel collects it and takes it to the mercy seat, lays it on there, where you can also believe Ron Wyatt's story where he talks about finding the ark of the covenant underneath where the cross was and that his blood came down. Let's read the scripture because I want you to see how Ron Wyatt makes sense, but at the same time, the angel of God being there as well. Look at this. Matthew 27:51-53. Then behold, the veil of the temple was torn into from top to bottom, and the earthquake, and the rocks were split, and the graves were open, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised. And coming out of the graves after his resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. Your spirit should be jumping out of its skin right now because of what that moment did, which is what I was just talking about. So when his blood came down, the angel collects it, pours it on the mercy seat. Well, in the physical, what happened on the earth, which is what Ron Wyatt saw, the earthquake, it opened up a shaft or a big enough crack for the blood to flow through and land on the perfect part of the mercy seat, which was the other side of where the bulls and the rams were. Their blood, their dried blood was, but his blood basically anointed the mercy seat. And because it's so alive, did you see how many graves opened up around it? Oh my goodness. Just think of an aunt or an uncle that had been buried within days or weeks and they come out of their grave and they go into the people's houses and they start sharing the word of God. This man came, he saved me and he brought me back to life. Oh, it's amazing. But remember, Lazarus was brought back to life when Jesus was alive still and Lazarus had to die again later on. Death is a part of the mystery of this life of the blood of life. Life cannot stay dead. Now, I don't want to teach on that. I don't want to get caught up into all of that, but it was necessary. Look at what Hebrews uh 9:16-18 says. For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator, that's Jesus. For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives. Therefore, not even the first covenant was dedicated without blood. Uh he's referring to um Moses and anointing uh all of the things with blood. He had to do it in the past. Jesus had to do it here. The blood became the testimony. That is what the testament is. Jesus had to die. The man had to die. The man who knew no sin had to die by having sin poured on him. But his blood was so pure that it just purified that sin and created a pardon that you and I can have here and now today. This is incredible. Look at how he purifies this with his blood. Hebrews 9:22. And according to the law, almost all things are purified with blood. And with without shedding of blood, there is no remission, no pardon. So here, the blood had to come out of Jesus. And no, he couldn't just cut it and leave a little bit. He actually had to die. And he did because he became that walking testimony that you and I, the bride of Christ, now preaches to all the earth. We're called to preach and teach the word of God to everyone. Whether you're doing it like I am, whether you're doing it behind a pulpit or whether you're doing it in your daily life where you just smile at someone, listen to them, pray with them, show them how God ministers to you. You're a walking testimony and that pardon shows off to people because that's what the blood of Christ did. It minister. And by the way, if you don't do it, the rocks will. You can go read on that. I'm going to leave that to you, a mystery to you to go research. You got to get in the word of God and you got to understand how that blood changes you. You You see, you have this encounter with this perfect grace, perfection. That's what Jesus, you know, I understand that people love the earth and look at it and see it as beautiful. It was made extremely beautiful. This is ugly compared to what it was when Adam lived. That was perfect utopia then. And I understand people want to go back to that. But the next perfect thing because that got corrupted and and fell is Jesus. Jesus was the only perfect thing after that was it. And his blood had to cleanse all the sin in the world. Imagine you lied. You stole. You killed someone. Imagine having a pardon from the governor, from the almighty God himself, where the devil can't even bring up your past sins to you or anyone else anymore because Jesus says, "I don't see it. It's got blood on it. I see blood." And it's the blood that caused the remission of sins, the pardon to come into existence. Oh, you guys got to get that. Let's continue on here in verse 24. For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself now to appear in the presence of God for us. So Jesus is he had to ascend. We're going to see the witness of that in just a moment. So he shed his but he had to die because he became a testimony and he says here here's my pardon. Take it. Take it. I'm going to forgive you. Get as many as you can. and get as many as you can. He says, "I'm going to go up and I'm going to defend you and make a place. I'm going to prepare a place for you." And that is what Jesus is doing. So, he is up there. You've got to see how he did this. This pardon is for you and me today because look at what he did. He ascended. Acts 1:9. Now, when he has spoken these things while they watched, he was taken up and a cloud received him out of their sight. He was taken to heavenly father. He is the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the father except through him. So he left us his blood though. It got placed on the mercy seat in the earthly realm. He got placed in the heavenly temple tabernacle. So his blood physically is in both places. So you and I get to say Jesus and you grab hold of your your pardon. And the moment you do, because you believe, remember what Romans 10:9 says, that if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe with your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. That is how the pardon works. And boy, that gives you all kinds of things that you can do. But it has to affect the conscience. It has to you got to get it on the inside. Let's continue on in scripture. I want to show you more things here. Hebrews 9:26, he then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world. But now, once at the end of the ages, he has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. I understand that some of you are going to receive and believe and run with this. You're going to go through the greatest transformation you've ever had in your life. Because when you encounter the grace of God at this level and you realize that every one of your sins is forgi forgiven because of the pardon, you just will never be the same. I there's an acknowledgment in your conscience, in your soul that says Jesus saved me. And boy, it it just radic radically changes. It transforms you. I understand that some people are not going to understand. They're not going to believe. They're not going to be able to accept. They They don't get it. They want to say, "Well, I've got to do penance. I got to do so many Hail Marys. I got to get on my knees." When God says it's the grace of God, his pardon is what does it. And I'm sorry if you're hearing the pool. I've got the windows open. And that's the the pump in the pool cleaning the pool. And it sounds like a little monster. So, it's not a demonic thing. It's the pool. Sorry, should have closed the window before I started this. But you have this pardon and some people just can't grasp that. I mean, look at Now, I know the Philippines is interesting how they do Easter. They get uh they they sacrifice they they hang themselves to a cross to go through the experience of what Jesus went to. But you don't have to do that. Look at the thief on the cross. All he said was, um, "Hey, this guy's innocent. I'm the one who's guilty." And then he tells Jesus, "Remember me when you enter your kingdom." And that guy, Jesus says, "I promise you, you and I will be in paradise together tonight." So they got, you know, the salvation, that sanctification is so simple and yet it boggles and deceives some of the minds of the people because they think they have to work hard or, you know, look what they did with Trump. how much they hated him that they voted Biden. And we we're in our situation that we're in uh economically and politically. But look at what they did to Trump. They hated him so much that they rejected something good that would build the country back up. Imagine them rejecting Jesus because they hate him. You don't like my lifestyle. you don't like that I acknowledge as a male or a female or genderless or whatever it may be. But I promise you on the day of judgment and if you're there, God isn't going to acknowledge your gender. He's going to acknowledge you how he created you, which was perfect. And he's known you from the womb in absolute perfection. So, I'm letting you know here and now. Even though you may reject initially, I want you to hear this. I want you to understand this. Even though you may reject initially, that grace will be there until the day of the Lord, until his return. So, now is the time to continue and get back in there and grab that grace. And you may have already grabbed that grace. You've drifted off. You have your pardon, but you don't know how to use it. and you go to church, but you're you're suffering when you shouldn't be because Christians in Christ should not ever suffer. You should always have a peace and joy. It's a lack of understanding. So, it's now time to grow into the word and to live the word and begin to understand what that word means for you. So this once in a lifetime event that Christ did only once so powerful. He saved you from sin. And if you go the rest of your life, you you activated your pardon. You said Jesus and he saved you and you choose to walk another way. I do promise you this. Jesus will not lose one. He will find you and he will get you. You want to keep running. He's a perfect gentleman. He will honor your respect, your your u your choice. I promise you, you would never walk away from this kind of grace that is right in front of you. Especially if you're someone who's ever spent time in jail or someone you know is in jail, that pardon comes in handy. grab it and utilize it. Now, I'm going to show you how to utilize it here very shortly. Let's continue on. Hebrews 10. Now, we're in verses 12- 18. But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God. Remember, he ascended. And because he ascended and he did it once, now he sits at the right hand of God. He's our lawyer. He defends us because Satan is still out there trying to defeat us, which he can't. Verse 13, from that time waiting till his enemies are made his foottool. He's going to keep doing this until the enemies are made his foot foottool. Let's continue on. Verse 14. For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. Notice he uses the word being. Let's go back. Let's double check that being. Sanctification is getting saved. It is separate from justification. But you need sanctification, saving in order to enter justification. But the man on the cross never ever got past the sanctification. He he died on the cross, saved, but he did not ever understand or nor did he ever use justific. He never had to to understand that he was justified, that he was right because he got saved. Every time you confess and repent, think of it like this. We're talking about the blood here. We're talking about the uh the remission of sim pardon. When you have holy communion, you eat of the cracker. You drink of the blood and it represents bo uh body of Christ. Anyways, as you drink that, that blood becomes that and and Paul tells you to make sure that you're worthy before that. How do you get worthy? You repent. I'm grabbing your pardon, Lord Jesus. I believe you and I ask you to save me. You grab that. That's your sanctification. And I'm promising you, you can never lose it. You might not understand it fully on your conscience. You may not live it right away because there's a transformation that takes place, which is what leads into your justification. Now, as you grow spiritually, you begin to understand that you're justified. You know, when COVID came and I was reading uh Psalm 91, I'm looking at the scripture and I'm reading it. I go, God, I should never have gotten CO. And I mean, I went boldly before the Lord because I know my sins were forgiven. I've been spending secret time in the Lord, which is what Psalm 91 tells you to do. And then sickness is supposed to flee. Well, then I got healed and I was fully healed with no ramifications or consequences to any of that. Why? because I went boldly to the throne with my pardon and I said I should not have to have any fruit coming out of that. That's a dead thing and I do not want it. I'm healed and I'm saved. And Jesus said, "Yeah, you're right." And he made it happen. That is justification now. Cuz see, in your conscience, you're finally understanding, wait a minute, I've got a pardon. I've got the blood of Jesus. I I can go to him and tell him what his word says because see, I'm choosing to dwell in that word. I'm choosing to let that word live in me. I'm choosing to read it and speak it whether I understand it or not. And there are things this message I didn't quite understand when the Lord started me on this journey. This was yesterday. Started in Ezekiel 44. Notice that's not in this message, but it was the start and it got me here. Talking about salvation, talking about the remission of sins, the blood, the pardon that we have, and the boldness and the confidence we can go into throne room with. It happened that way because I was spending time with the Lord, which gives me the justification. And by the way, if you're a new believer in Christ and you're not doing that yet, you're justified. Why? Because you have no sin on you. Because the blood covers you. And because you're covered by the blood. Hey Jesus, I don't need to have this guy on my back. I don't need to be on drugs. I don't need to be in sin anymore. I don't need this. I don't need that. I'm healed. And he says, "Yes, you are finally got you here. Let's get you." And he moves you forward. That's how this works. This is why I wanted to teach in the garden. I want you to understand once you grab a hold of this, you walk into that that forgiveness and and you grab it and you say, "I'm not letting go. This is the most important thing on the face of the universe is the blood of Jesus. [Music] By one offering, for by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified." Look at this. Verse 15. But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us. For after he had said before, this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord. I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them. Then he adds, "Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more. Now where there is remission, pardon of these, there is no longer an offering for sin." Oh, how beautiful. You see now this this is why I had to get in the conscience. This is why you have to understand when you speak and you say Lord Jesus and you have his pardon. You say, you know what, Lord, forgive me. He does because he will forgive you of anything. The you know there there's a scripture talks about an unforgivable sin, but that's when you die. Once you're dead, you cannot be saved after the fact. So you have to be saved before. Once you have your pardon, now you get to move forward with the Lord under that covenant that he made, which puts into your heart and your mind his laws. You see, the ten commandments were fulfilled. But what was the new commandment? Jesus said, "Let us love one another as you would yourself. Love your neighbor as yourself." These he's talking about love. And we know that here in the end times according to Matthew 24:25, love grows cold. That's what's happening here. So we have to understand that that pardon puts us into a covenant with God where we get to go into the Holy of Holies. Let's look at that tabernacle. Now Jesus tore the veil in two. Now it becomes one room where every priest, you're a priest, I'm a priestess. Every priest now operates in that room. And guess what? I get to walk right up to that throne room to the Holy of Holies with my pardon. It's on. I got it. Crown of salvation. That whatever you want to consider it to be. You just go up and say, "Lord Jesus, you're Lord over my life. You're Lord over my finances. You're Lord over my teachings. You are Lord over my body. You are Lord. You are Lord. You are Lord. And you see, you speak, you confess, you prophesy because consciously consciously you understand and know your pardon allows you to go into that Holy of Holies where remember in the Old Testament a high priest can only go in once a year and he didn't always make it out. But now we get to walk into his presence. Hey, daddy. Lord Jesus, father. I need some peace today. I'm going to need it. Lord, extra dose today, please. Whatever your situation is. If there's a beautiful plant that you love, Lord, take the plant to the Lord. Can you heal it for me? I a bird crashed into a window at work one time, and my boss thought it was it was on its body. He wasn't on his feet and it it hit hard and knocked itself out. And my boss walked away and I looked at that bird and this was a handful of years ago. I said, "Lord, heal this bird. He's part of your creation. He's part of what you got going on." And you know, five minutes go by, check on him. Now, he was standing up on his legs and one leg like he's sleeping, but he's uh he's hurt, but he's going through the healing process. And within 15 minutes, this bird woke up, looked around, and flew away. You see, the world will think it's dead. But you know that there's life in the blood because you have your part in that you get to go straight to the creator, the almighty. You get to boldly go to him. Look at this. Look at this. Hebrews 10:19-23. Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which he consecrated for us through the veil, that is his flesh. Uh, let's pause there for a moment. There's so much in this teaching around around the temple, and I'm just touching the surface, but there's the temple's veil is torn in two. He just said that the flesh was Jesus. It was torn in two because the blood had to come out of him to cleanse the sin. Got to get that verse 20. By a new and living way which he consecrated for us through the veil that is his flesh. And having a high priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith. Having our hearts sprinkled sprinkled with what? Sprinkled with blood. The pardon is on us. We're covered. We have the helmet of salvation. The blood of Jesus has been sprinkled on us from an evil conscience. Now, you see how your conscience has to grab it and get a hold of it because you're changed all of a sudden. And you should be thinking, "Wow, that's it. I just had to ask him to forgive me. And now I can go to the greatest creator. I can ask him for better weather. I can ask him for better finances. I can ask him for a better new home. Yes. Yes. And yes, and yes to even more than that. Imagine, look at Solomon. He asked for wisdom. Imagine asking for wisdom. Imagine asking for knowledge. Imagine reading the word and finding out more about who God is because you're curious. Now, who is this guy? And who is this God? Well, you know, why is he interested in me? Why did he go through and give me this power and authority? I've I messed up and he's letting me do this. Yeah, that's the kind of God I serve. This is why I believe you can't lose your salvation because God is God. God is love. He for God so loved the world, he sent his only begotten son, Jesus, to do exactly what I'm talking about here. Since Jesus did it because Jesus was obedient. Now look it. We have life. We have a pardon. We have the blood on us. We're forgiven. And now we get to go to the greatest being ever, ever, ever, and boldly go talk to him. And sometimes, you know, if you're lonely in this earth, all it takes is just, "Hey, God, I got a few minutes and I'm kind of bored. I'm lonely. This isn't the only time I want to talk to you, but I'm going to sit here and talk to you because I don't want to be alone. I'm not alone. You're with me. You're always with me. Do you see now the transformation that takes place in the mind, the conscious, because now you're consciously thinking, I'm curious what God says about this. Let me go find out. And you get to finally get your answers. And for those of you who go asking the world for your answers, you're looking in the wrong place. The Bible has every answer. And if you think you're too stupid or too dumb to read or understand the Bible, I beg to differ. You are not. God made you perfect. He made you holy. He made you to be a child of the most high. You are his child. And you know what? He wants to teach you. And sometimes it's just spiritual things going in your mind and how much you said you were dumb. All of that is keeping you from understanding when all you have to go back is, "Lord, I make you Lord Jesus over my dumbness, over my stupidness, because I'm not going to be that anymore. I'm going to understand because of your word." Now, imagine the breakthrough, the mental breakthrough there. Imagine the breakthrough you will have in your life. Lord, I I lift my husband to you. I lift my children to you because you know what, Lord? You said to give them to you. I cast my cares. I care for them. I love them. I want to see them consciously come to you. And the spirit of God will move because that's more important than anything else in this world. Amen. Let's continue on here. Uh and having a high priest over the house of God. Verse 22, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Pure water, by the way, is the living word of God. Start reading it. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering. For he who promised is faithful. This is so important. He kept his promise. Jesus kept his promise. Jesus went to the cross for his son, for for his father, and he said, "I will do it. I'm going to save these people because I love them just like you love them. Jesus said, "If you know me, you know my father. Jesus is just like his father. If you know me, you know Jesus." Because I'm trying to emulate Jesus in all that I do. This is how it starts. It starts consciously. And it says, I say to my conscience, to my soul, "Hey, you got a way out. Here's the blood." And so I go and I boldly say it. And now I'm sanctified. How could I be considered sanct a saint? I was a sinner. But that is exactly what Jesus wants us to be like. But then he goes a little further and says, now that you're humbled, now that you've repented, now you're justified Previous Next Home
- DOMINION THROUGH ENLIGHTENMENT | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
DOMINION THROUGH ENLIGHTENMENT Equip “Vision for Women” to understand and reclaim God-given dominion by walking in true spiritual light—illumination that comes through God’s Word and the blood of Jesus—so the church can operate in unity, freedom from sin’s power, and confident authority in Christ. < Back DOMINION THROUGH ENLIGHTENMENT Pastor Marcos Marrero March 2, 2007 Objective: Equip “Vision for Women” to understand and reclaim God-given dominion by walking in true spiritual light—illumination that comes through God’s Word and the blood of Jesus—so the church can operate in unity, freedom from sin’s power, and confident authority in Christ. Synopsis: This fourth message in the dominion series teaches that dominion means exercising the authority God originally gave humanity, restored through Jesus. True dominion is recovered “through enlightenment”—the light of God’s Word versus the counterfeit “light” of the world. Using vivid contrasts (pitch-black tunnels vs. illumination), the teaching shows that Scripture reveals reality as it truly is and exposes Satan’s false, glittering narratives that enslave. Anchored in 1 John 1:5–9, the message explains: God is light; walking in that light produces fellowship/unity and continual cleansing by Jesus’ blood. Confession restores communion and clears the conscience so faith can operate without doubt. The tabernacle pattern illustrates how blood (life) fuels light (glory), pointing to Christ’s once-for-all offering that releases revelation and power. The church often loses dominion through idolatry, ignorance, and walking in darkness (practicing religion without revelation). Dominion returns as believers: Know and practice the Word (“It is written”), refusing divided hearts and human reasoning that replace truth with “instead-of-Christ” substitutes. Stay cleansed and confident—apply 1 John 1:9 immediately, believing God’s mercy (Lam. 3:22–23) and refusing shame that neutralizes faith. Walk in unity so the Body can wield corporate authority (John 17; Matthew 18). Exercise authority in Jesus’ name over personal “mountains” and even creation when led by the Spirit (Mark 11:23; examples from Jesus calming storms and Elijah praying for rain). Humble themselves to receive grace (James 4:6), trusting God’s goodness amid trials (Romans 8:28). Practical illustrations (traffic school, military rifle training, Adam’s test in Eden) underscore that dominion operates by believing God’s verdict over Satan’s accusations. The call is to live as light-bearers—daily in Scripture, quick to confess, steadfast in unity, and bold to say “It is written”—so the ministry and its leaders carry God’s will with power in a darkened world. Inspired Teaching: Let's open our word prayer. Father in heaven in Jesus name, we thank you and we praise you for this opportunity that we have, Father God, to to partake of your word, dear Lord Jesus. We ask for direction, Father. Uh all things that pertain to life and godliness come from you, Father God. And we want to make sure that everything that we do is in accordance to your good and perfect will, Father God. We don't want to settle for less. So I pray, dear Lord Jesus, that um this ministry here, Vision for Women, Father God, that that you will bring the anointing uh that reveals, Father God, your good will and perfect will for this house, Father God. And we pray that uh you will enable and empower those whom you have entrusted here, Father God, to carry out your will and purpose for this house, Father God. In Jesus name, we thank you for your anointing tonight. open our ears that we may hear. Give us a heart to understand and to receive. Father God, in Jesus name we thank you Lord. Amen. Amen. Praise God. This is our fourth week and I share on the u dominion on the last um three weeks and dominion meaning to exercise authority. Last Sunday I spent eight hours on uh comfor or whatever traffic school and the very first thing the guy said it says you violated the law. There was 14 of us there said you violated the law therefore you did the crime now you got to do the time so you got to spend eight hours over here. I don't want to hear anybody complain. Hi Marshall. So um uh dominion means not to rule. You know once I violated the law I committed myself and I have to go there otherwise I can just pay the ticket like I did and pay high insurance for the next three years. So you know that was a thing I had to pay them $40 and give them eight eight hours of my life you know. Uh but dominion means somebody has rule over you because of you know something that you violated or you having dominion over somebody because of the dominion that has been given to you. And in the first two weeks we deal with the u the dominion that has been given uh to us individually. And then last uh Friday night I dealt with how the church itself has lost his dominion. The dominion that was given due to the abominations and the idolatry and those different things that get uh talked about. So tonight we're going to speak about the dominion that we can regain through enlightenment. Uh as you know I'm some of you may know I'm pretty much into numbers. Numbers is the only perfect thing that we have. You know, I speak two languages. I speak full Spanish. I spoke only Spanish for 18 and a half years. And English is my second language that I learned. And one thing that I learned even with two languages that you cannot always express your sentiments and your feelings with words. They're just not adequate adequate words to express oneself. Sometimes we're we're inadequate. You cannot translate things perfectly. They're always uh messed up like that. So, uh, but there's one thing that's perfect. Whether you're saying 2 + 2 or do quatro, you're always going to come up with the same in numbers. I don't care whether you do in Russian or Chinese, you multiply 2 * 2, the answer is going to be the same no matter what language. That's the the beauty about mathematics. So, mathematics is perfect. The word of God is composed of 22 Hebrew letters. There's 22 word letters in the Hebrew alphabet. And um and the word uh uh the word of God if you look at it when it ends the revelation has 22 chapters. The number 22 means light. It is a number of light. As a matter of fact you take um this guy had a a tremendous book I was reading. You take uh uh the word light the distance from the the light travels all those things you can break it down and breaks down perfectly uh to what the word of God light means revelation. We need to think whenever you think of light you have to think of light in the difference between light and darkness. one time when I was a teenager and uh didn't speak hardly any English and I was hanging around with some guys. They invited me to go someplace and I didn't know what it was but I said I'll go with you guys and it was to the LA River over there by Florence and Firestone and it was to go through the uh drainage system to go walk up in there. Those are huge. Some of them you can walk straight anyway. So we started walking. We walked probably six miles inland, believe me. And we got so deep in some of those places. It was so dark. They have some flashlights and things like that. But anyway, would turn the lights out and you cannot see absolutely nothing. I mean, it's just pitch pitch pitch dark. Total and complete darkness. And of course, we had the police waiting for us when we came out because we were speaking through the manholes and we're doing all kinds of bad things that we're doing back then. But the contrast of light and darkness means that light allows you to see your environment. You see, if you turn the lights out completely dark and you can walk in the dark, if you're used like I like to get up at night and walk around because I know where everything is at. But let anything just be moved out of place and you're gonna hear w you know hitting something. So we need to understand that light is in the word of God is illumination, enlightenment, revelation, the ability to see clearly. This is what the word of God does. The word of God allows us to see reality, to see things how they really are. many of us and and I know I'm I'm taking a little bit too long setting this up, but I want you to do understand that the reality that this world portrays is not the real thing. We need to understand that this world is is is manipulated by Satan. Satan is called the god of this world. Satan manipulates the money system. Sa Satan manipulates the social system. Satan manipulates the learning system. Satan manipulates and he has built himself a false reality in which most of us dwell in that false reality and the things that seem real to us are not you know it takes that Anna Nicole she was talking she was watching that that on TV today all of that money and fame and whatever what a miserable life I mean her son which was 20 dead she's dead buried next You know that's not life. Yet in the world people clamor and long for those things. Why? Because the world is is is turn upside down. There's a false reality. A lot of people I uh I work in in houses. I see people that that that that have mansions and huge houses and all of these things and they get to the end of their life, none of their children are around. Their grandchildren don't come around. You know, it is sad to get to a point in your life to where you get old and realize, man, I worked last 50, 60 years of my life and what did I really achieve? I mean, I miss what life is really about. So, what I'm trying to say here is that the word of God is able to enlighten or bring revelation that allows us to see things for what they are, the reality of what things really are. And when we're able to see that, then we will see that we have dominion, that God made us rulers. Imagine this. If you own Manhattan, that island over there in New York where all of those huge buildings and property so expensive, and having somebody coming in and trying to give you some beads for the island, that's how they bought it from the Indians, by the way. They they just brought him some shiny stuff. They gave it to them and they got Well, that's what Satan has done with all of us. Yeah. Yeah. Get him some uh fire water, how they used to call it or something like that. That that is that is what Satan has done. He has offer us something that shines, something that glitters, something that looks like is, "Oh man, I never seen this." But yet we in reality are the ones who own the real thing. See, because the dominion was given to man, not to Satan. The dominion was given to us. So the word of God, when we get the proper perspective, when we get the proper enlightenment, when we get the proper illumination or revelation, the word of God is able to set us straight to where we can see who really dominates. See, the reality is that most Christians today live in fear of Satan or are dominated by Satan or are controlled by Satan or are living under the influence of of demonic influence of Satan when in reality should be the other way around. We rule. We rule. We The dominion was given to Adam. We're Adam. We're the humans. And and Adam lost it. And Jesus came out and regain it. He said Jesus came that he might destroy the works of the devil. And he did. He destroyed the works of the devil and then he left and he left us in charge. We are in charge. That's why I said what Jesus said you never prayed on my name but from now on from a certain day when the day he told us that but from now on you will pray on my name and whatever you ask the father in my name he will give it to you. Why? Because I'm taking charge. I'm taking authority. I came. You see, God made a law and the law was he created the physical universe and the law was in order for you to operate on the physical universe, you need a physical body. That's the law. Spirits cannot operate on this uni. This is why Satan cannot kill. Don't you think if Satan could grab that that kitchen knife that you got in your kitchen and and slit your throat while you're sleeping that he wouldn't do it? He wouldn't even hesitate. He wouldn't even hesitate. But guess what? He ain't got no hands. He can't get a hold of that stuff. So what does he have to do? He had to get somebody else out there crazy enough to come after you or he has to get you crazy enough to where you got the knife and you cut yourself. You see this is how he operate. So in order for us to operate in this physical realm, you got to have a physical body. And God excluded himself from that. When he gave dominion to Adam, Adam was to rule. And God could not rule because God would not come. God is spirit. They that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. So God did not have a body. So when Satan came in and swindled this dominion from Adam, God had to become a man. And that is in one of the Psalms and in Hebrews says, "A body you prepared for me." The word of God, which is the light, the word of God is light, came in and dwelt in a physical body. In the physical body, he bore the transgression of all humans. Every single human. That includes Hitler. That includes Fidel Castro. That includes all of these bad people out there. He bore the transgression of everybody. He died on the cross. And then since he was sinless, death could not hold him anymore. He came back to life and all the dominion was given to him. And then he says, "I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it." And then he gave his church the authority. Why? Because his church has a physical body. He's ahead. He's in heaven. But we are the church. We're the physical body. So in order for us to exercise dominion, we need to understand, we need to be enlightened. We need to understand the difference between this false reality that Satan has built around us and the real reality that we have been given dominion. Amen. Now, with that in mind, let us go to first John. And if you got your notes, you have all of the scripture there in your note. And first John 1:9 says, "But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin." Now, notice the statement that John made. Now, it's amazing that John is writing first and second and third John after he was taken up to heaven and he wrote the book of Revelation. He went from all of those years. He was about 90 years old living in the in with a physical mentality even though he was trained by Jesus, even though he was an apostle, even though he preached. Then one day he gets taken up to heaven and he gets to see this physical realm from the other side. He got to see it. This is why the uh you read Matthew, Mark, and Luke, they're all make sense. They're called the synoptic gospels because they're all concordant. You read John is weird. John is a spiritual is the spiritual revelation of the word of God. It's totally different. You read the book of revelation. Do they say people are scratching their heads? They don't know what it mean. Why? Because the spiritual revelation has to be understood through spirit through the spirit which is the word of God. And the same way with first and second and third John in in in first and second John is the only place where you find the word antichrist or instead of Christ. Paul speaks about him in in Thessalonian but he calls him the man of sin, the man of pition. But anti doesn't mean against means instead of. In other words, there's a false Christ. So there's a false light that rules and prevails like oh this is the real Christ and it's not. And then he says that if we walk in the light as he is in the light, that means if we walk with spiritual enlightenment, if we walk in a way that we can see the spiritual reality that is around us and look at the purposes and we have fellowship with one another. Now, why is that so important? Because the power comes through unity. See, if we're a body, then we have to walk as a body. Imagine if my hand wanted to go that way and my leg wanted to go this way and my head wanted to turn around and my ear wanted to go this way. I would be immobilized. I would be paralyzed. I couldn't move. So everything has to walk. So the spirit of God is here on the earth and he's moving through his body. That means different individuals to walk by the revelation of the light to walk in unison or to walk together. And then he goes and he says that the blood of Jesus you there's three parts here. If we walk in the light as he's in the light, we have fellowship with one another. And the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Now last week I finished with the part that in the holy place uh there was a curtain and and and uh in the first part what is called the uh the holy place you have the manora for light because this was a tent that had four thick covers over it. They had big huge double curtain. So when you enter in there there was total and complete darkness. So because of that there was this uh luminora in this side of the room and it was supposed to be kept lit all the time. So when the priest came through the curtain and came into the holy place to put the table of uh the bread on the table that uh that had to be replaced every week or to offer the incense on the altar of incense or to light up or put more oil. That's the light that he worked by. But there was a thick thick curtain, a big thick curtain here. And the ark of the covenant was behind that curtain. And there was no light in there. There was absolutely no light. So when the priest went in there, it was total darkness. The only light that was there was the presence of God which rested in the ark. Here's a picture of the ark right here. The presence of God would sit. And that presence was so strong in the days of Moses. The light shone from there. The light went all through the tabernacle and the light form a cloud that covered them by day and gave him light by night so that they wouldn't have to walk in darkness. This is the it's called shakina. It's the manifested light or visible glory of God. This is what was in there. Well, this light when when the tabernacle was there will be on the mercy seat. And as the priest came once a year into that darkened place, the only light that it would be would be resting right on the mercy seat. And as he brought the blood of the sacrifice and the blood was accepted and he dipped the blood on the mercy seat, the blood which symbolizes the life because the Bible says the life is in the blood. As the life was poured, the light would come alive. It's like the light was fed, the glory, the anointing was fed. Why? Because without the shedding of blood, there's no remission of sin. And the the nation was a sinful nation. So the nation had to do what Moses told them. They had to bring an animal. The animal had to be killed. the sins of the nation. The high priest will lay his hands on the head of the goat and the sins of the nation for that one year would be transferred upon the goat. Then the goat would be killed and when the blood was brought up in there that satisfied the requirements of a righteous God and the blood would cause the light to come. The Bible tells us that Jesus, our high priest, went and when he offered himself on the cross, his blood, the life that was in his blood was collected by the eternal spirit, which is the Holy Spirit and was brought to the temple of God in heaven. There's a real thing. Those were just pictures. And up in there was when the blood, the life of Jesus was poured. And when that life was poured, revelation immediately came. Enlightenment came. They came vision, the revelation, the ability to see. So here John is giving us a description of what he saw in heaven. If we walk in the light as he is in the light, then we're one. We have quania. We're one. Quania means like grapes. We're all individuals, but they're all connected. We're we're one. And then he says, and then the blood of Jesus, he says, the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Why? Because the blood of Jesus is the light. See, the word of God is the light. In John 1:1 says, "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God." In John 1:14 says, "And the word became flesh and that flesh died." The life that was in the flesh was in the blood was offered. Why? For an enlightenment or for revelation. So we see that the blood of Jesus and the word of God are very much interconnected when you apply. See all of us have an inner san like that by the way you're have a physical body which is the outer temple then you have an inner core which is your soul and then you have the holy place where your spirit reside. If you're born again, Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, they're all in your inter sanctum in your spirit. Your spirit is made alive. Every time you go into that place and you apply the blood, there's a tremendous revelation. There's a tremendous anointing. There's a tremendous release of energy and power. Like we talked last week uh in Hebrews 4:12, the word of God is living alive and active. That means energy. There's energy in the word of God. So every time Satan say, "You're nothing but a loser." And I said, "By the blood of Jesus, by the stripes of Jesus, I being healed. I'm taking the word of God. I'm taking the life of blood of the blood. I'm putting it into my soul." And the anointing immediately comes up. The light comes up, the revelation comes up, and Satan has to flee. Every time he accuses you and you proclaim the word of God, he has to flee. And that's what he very plainly says there. So the abominations which have come against us and against the body of Christ which all have to do with uh with uh idolatry and harlotry. It is only the blood of Jesus when he's released that anointing, the revelation, that enlightenment that is able to restore us to fellowship with God. You see, sin separates us from God. Okay? Every single one of us walk today and we sin. You either said a lie or you thought about something you shouldn't think of or you hated somebody without a cause. Whatever sins we committed during the day, as soon as you confess your sin, which is two verses down, 1 John 1:9, if we confess our sins, he's faithful and just not only to forgive us our sins, but to cleanse us. Okay? So, every single time we confess our sins, we apply the the word of God to us. John 3:16, God so loved the world, God loves me. Um, Lamentations 3:22-23. His mercy are new every morning. I don't care how bad I messed up yesterday. I can get up this morning and pray. There's a whole brand new batch of mercy and grace for me. There's a brand new and I can apply that and as I apply that, there's revelation. The revelation means I am forgiven. I am accepted. But then also there's a responsibility because with the word of God comes revelation. Why is it that I always have to lie? Why is it that I always have to do this? Or why is it that I always have to do that? Then as I begin to meditate, the revelation of God begins to enlighten me to the strongholds and the things that I need to deal with. Because you see, we sin. We're not sinners because we sin. We sin because we're sinners. We were born sinners. When you were born a child and you were uncomfortable, the very first thing you went in, if you don't get your way, you cry. Why? Because that's a selfish nature. That's how we're born. So God doesn't say you lousy sinner. God says, "No, you have no choice but to sin because that's in your blood. But I have a remedy for sin. And it is up to you to apply that remedy, to put it to work so that you can be set free. I put a switch in your darkened room. Turn it on. Turn that switch on. Let the light come on. Let the revelation appear. Let the blood release that anointing so that I can set you free. and not only you personally but so that I can bring you corporate corporately into a place of power and exercise in dominion. Now look at I'm going to be going one verse up. The next verses 1 John 1:6. If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, we lie and we do not practice the truth. What is he talking about? He said, "You can be a Christian. You can go to church every Sunday and you can say, "Hey, man. I go to church every Sunday and I Hallelujah. Praise the Lord." And I said, "Oh, that listen, you can proclaim and and and and be part of a denomination and worship the Lord every day. If you're walking in darkness, you don't have the light." That is simply what he's saying. How do you work in darkness? Well, if you don't know what uh uh you know what's causing you to sin, or if you don't know what's causing you to mess up, if you don't know what's causing you to be the way you are, that's because you don't have revelation. And if you don't have revelation, you're walking in darkness. Unfortunately, many churches today, you you you go in and you come out the exact same way that you went in because there's no revelation. Revelation is the anointing. There's no conviction of sin. And when there's conviction of sin, there's no remedy for us to stop going sinning. You can have a great anointed service, go forward and repent, but then after 150 more times committing the same sin, your heart gets hardened. You go to church, you hear the same message again, and man, I've been there, done that 150 times. That's not what I need. What I need is revelation. What I need is an anointing. What I need is power, dominion over this thing that's got a hold of me. Because if I can break that hold of that thing, man, I need change in my life. You see, that revelation comes in, that's where the power comes in. So he says, if we say we're Christian and then we're having a good old time and everything else, but it it if if we're not practicing the truth, then we're walking in darkness. Notice that it uses the word practice. That's the same word that uh by the way that uh they use for doctors. Don't you hate that? Going to a doctor and he's practicing on you. They practice medicine. That's because they really don't know. They're just going along with it. They're practicing. They have a lot of knowledge. But but that's what he's saying there. We're practicing quote unquote Christianity. But if it's in darkness, it's not revelation, then we're not really practicing the truth, are we? Why? Because Jesus said, "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." So Jesus said this, they said, "Hey, we're not slave to nobody." The Pharisees said to him, "We're heirs of Abraham." He says, "Anybody who slave uh uh anybody who commits sin is a slave to sin." Only truth. Truth is light, enlightenment, revelation. See, once you realize that your head is itching because you got a bunch of little lies in there that driving you nuts, then you don't have to scratch that itch anymore. You go out and get that medicine and you put it on and you get that real fine come and you get those little critters on their legs out and you solve the problem. When we realize that the reason why we sin is because we got this things on us that is driving us to do it and to do it and to do it and to do it and as long as you don't know, you don't know. You can live in a jungle some place because you can't see them. Most of them are too small to see them anyway. So it requires enlightenment. It requires revelation. It requires truth. Once we realize that then we can address the problem. The problem with us is sin, deepseated sin that has taken away our dominion. We don't have dominion because we walk in sin. Jesus said, "Speak to the mountain. Tell it to go out, get out of your way, and jump into the sea. The only condition is if you do not doubt in your heart that what you're saying is going to come to pass, it will be done for you. The only condition is if you do not allow. So I have a mountain in my life. It can be a mountain of bills, can be a mountain of debt, can be a mountain of uh torment, fear, uh persecution, whatever it is is coming against you. You have authority to speak to the mountain. The only condition is what you really believe in your heart. So you see this is where the heart is the holy place where the blood of Jesus every time we doubt that God will bless us because we have sinned even though we have confessed that sin we are actually putting to shame the blood of Jesus. We're saying in a sense the blood of Jesus was not good enough for that sin. I got to do some penitence first. You see I that sin was bigger. Uh, it was okay to repent of that little light, but sniffing that whole thing of cocaine, that was a lot stronger. I'm I'm I'm gonna have to at least be banished for about six months before because the blood of Jesus, you see, this is the mentality of it. Doubt in the heart, the heart is where the blood of Jesus is applied. If I can understand that the blood of Jesus is able to take away my sin and that the only beef that God has with me because he calls sin in the New Testament missing the mark and the only beef that he has with me is that if I'm walking in darkness and not seeing what the root of the problem is so that he can give me that remedy and I can take that root out like Jesus said every plant that my heavenly father has not planted will be uprooted. Everything that is in our heart that is not from God, he wants to uproot it. But he needs our permission. He needs our working with him. And the only way that that happens is through revelation. Now look at verse 5. We start at 1 John 17, 1 John 1:6, and 1 John 15 because I want to tie it all together. He says, "This is the message which we have heard from him and declared to you that God is light and in him there is no darkness." Now you see the message. God is light. Light can be used as good provider. He's faithful. Everything that ever has anything to do with good, that's what God is. God is good. He is light. And in him, there is absolutely no darkness at all. So if I am dealing with any part at all that has any darkness to it, then I'm not walking in the light. Right? There's a couple of notes over there if you can pass into. Oh, there you go. You got anyway. So he says that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all. Now let me put this into context. There was uh we were listening to the radio coming down and the news. I was trying to get the traffic made sure that everything was fine and there was uh was it a a tornado I think that hit a high school and eight kids on the high school were killed and they were speaking to one of the teachers. They said they did everything. They had a a system in case of an emergency were to get all the kids together. They were saying that everything that could have been done that were done and that they say kids were killed because it was an act of God. That what they call it. The insurance forms they call it like that. An act of God. God came in and he killed those eight helpless little kids that were just going to school there. It's an act of God. Yeah, it was an act of God. But not the God we're talking about, not the God we're serving. Jesus, John 10:10 says, "Satan comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy." So if people were killed, that was the God of this world. That wasn't the God we serve. Okay? If there were people that were injured, were in the hospital, their health was taken away from them. That is not Jesus said, "I came to that you may have life and have it more abundantly." Did you know that we as believers have been given authority, dominion even over the weather? If we, the church of the Lord Jesus Christ, was operating in the power and the dominion that Jesus gave us, we could speak to that tornado and tell them to shut up because Jesus did it. Jesus saw the storm coming up and and the disciples were all freaking out. Why is that on the Bible? Was Jesus showing off? No, he was just showing them what what what man was has been given by God. Man has been given authority. So they woke Jesus up. They're uh a fisherman. They know how to handle. They know they're in a mess. They tell Jesus, "Wake him up. Don't you care that we perish?" He gets up. I can I can maybe He was a little tired and he wanted some rest and he was just kind of getting a little fed up with the little faith that his disciples had. So he tells the thing to shut up and then he tells you a little faith. You know I shown you the power and the authority that God has given us. When Jesus says from this time you never pray in my name but from now on whatever you pray in my name whatever you ask the father in my name it will be given to you. What was Jesus saying? He's saying, "I am depositing upon you, my people, my church, the authority, the dominion to rule over this realm." We have authority to rule over this realm. You can speak to the mountain. You can speak to the drought. Elijah was a man just like us. He could tell, "Do not rain until I tell you." So, for three and a half years, it did not rain. He could tell the rain. Okay, it's time to start. There may not be a cloud in the whole sky. He got down on his knees and he began to pray. He said, "Lord, you gave me authority. You spoke to me. You gave me your word. You said, "Whatever you speak, I'm going to bring it to pass." His servant went over the hill and look up. They're not a cloud in the sky, master. He got back down on his knees. He say, "Hey, uh, over there the weather channel, whoever is in charge of the weather up there is calling." Hey guy, I'm calling over here. Could you hear me? I want some rain and I don't want it tomorrow. I want it right now. You understand? He's praying. So he tell his servant, "Go back up there again." So his servant goes back up here. Well, there's a little cloud there, but it's no bigger than my fist. So he gets back down again and say, "Listen, I don't want a fist full of rain, okay? I want the whole shebang. I want you to send me superers size it. You know, send the whole storm. And in less than an hour, boom, there it came. Now, what was God? Was God showing off? No. God is just simply showing us the reality that we as the the body of Christ, the the authority that has been given us in the name of Jesus, we have been given dominion. That dominion is to rule over this earth over the realm of the earth. We have been given that power. Now it hasn't been given to an individual has been given to a body. That's why he says if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship one with another means we're in unity. We're together in this. We understand one another. Then the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. The blood of Jesus gets applied to our sins. We get cleansed from our sins and now we can walk in the authority and the dominion, the revelation because the anointing is enlightenment. See, when I was in the Marines for the first 90 days, I think that I was there, they give you a rifle that doesn't have a firing pen and doesn't have no bullets. Some people would could find the bullet someplace. That's why they take the firing pen out of your rifle. And for three months they treat you as if that rifle is loaded. And every time you misplace that rifle and in any little way, boy, they jump all over you. They'll even steal your rifle to punish you because you're supposed to have it in your possession at all times. Even when you go take a shower, you got to make sure it's on a place w Previous Next Home

PROFANING THE COVENANT The objective of this lesson is to reveal the spiritual and practical consequences of profaning God’s covenant by rejecting His Word, His fatherhood, and the godly traditions handed down through the fathers. It seeks to show how rebellion against God’s covenant inevitably leads to moral corruption, societal decay, and divine judgment, while also encouraging believers to remain faithful to the covenant for the blessings of God’s mercy and protection. PROFANING THE COVENANT Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of this lesson is to reveal the spiritual and practical consequences of profaning God’s covenant by rejecting His Word, His fatherhood, and the godly traditions handed down through the fathers. It seeks to show how rebellion against God’s covenant inevitably leads to moral corruption, societal decay, and divine judgment, while also encouraging believers to remain faithful to the covenant for the blessings of God’s mercy and protection. Synopsis: In Profaning the Covenant, Pastor Marcos examines Malachi 2:10 as a prophetic warning against turning away from God and His covenant. The study begins with the foundational truth that God is a God of covenant, upholding creation through His divine order. Unlike inanimate objects and animals, humans—made in His image—possess the ability to reason and thus bear responsibility for obedience or disobedience to His covenant. Tracing back to Adam’s transgression in Eden, Pastor Marcos highlights how covenant violations are rooted in believing lies over God’s Word. Rejection of God’s Word equates to rejecting His fatherhood, His role as Creator, and His holy commands that govern human relationships. This rebellion, seen in idolatry and in the corruption of marriage, reflects a predictable downward spiral: first denying God, then redefining or profaning His holy institutions. Pastor Marcos applies these truths to modern culture, showing how evolutionary theories and humanistic ideologies serve as covers for rebellion against God. This rejection escalates into moral relativism, where society calls evil good and questions God’s justice. Yet, Scripture warns that God’s judgment will come with certainty, burning away the wicked like stubble. Despite the severity of judgment, the message ends with hope. To those who remain faithful, the “Sun of Righteousness” will arise with healing and restoration. God promises to turn the hearts of fathers to children and children to fathers, preserving those who cling to covenant faithfulness. Ultimately, this teaching urges believers not to fall for lies that lure them away from godly traditions. Instead, they must honor the covenant, live under God’s fatherhood, and walk in His Word to avoid the curse of rebellion and to partake in His promised blessings. Inspired Teaching: Malachi 2:10 “Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously with one another by profaning the covenant of the fathers?” In this lesson we are going to explore what the consequences are of turning our backs on God and the godly traditions that were handed down to us by the fathers. In our opening text we see an immediate progression of what happens when we reject God’s covenant. God is a God of covenant, He is in covenant with all the creation, both animate and inanimate, everything functions because of His covenant that He keeps with His creation. Inanimate objects just follow the laws of nature to which they are subject to. Animate creatures like animals just follow the laws that they are subject to by their natural instincts. However, we human creatures were created in the image of God with the ability to reason out intelligently the very laws (covenant) to which we are subject to, and thereby, we have the ability to understand the benefits and the consequences that our obedience or disobedience to those laws will bring upon us. Hosea 6:7 “But like men (literally, Adam) they transgressed the covenant; there they dealt treacherously with Me.” The first violation of God’s covenant was committed by Adam the first man, and the nature of the violation had to do with him believing the words of Satan, who told him that he was naked and therefore he was no good to God, over the words of God, who had told Adam that he was good even though he was naked: Genesis 1:31 “Then God saw everything that He had made (including Adam and Eve who were both naked), and indeed was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” Genesis 2:25 “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed (until Satan told them that they were both naked).” So that in their nature, all covenant violations have as their roots rebellion against the Word of God! We see that in our opening text, where the prophet has to ask out loud: Have we not all one Father? Rejection of His Word is in essence a rejection of His Fatherhood over us, which in turn leads men to deny that they were created by Him in the first place, that is why the prophet asks secondly: Has not one God created us? And of course, if we reject God’s Word as stated in His covenant that governs the interactions of men (love thy neighbor), then we end up with the: Why do we deal treacherously with one another. Hello! Because we are profaning God’s covenant with the fathers, that is why we are in the mess we are in. The teaching of evolution is in essence a cover for those who do not want to be under the rules of God’s covenant with the fathers. In order to deny the existence of God as our Father and Creator they needed to replace God’s Word with a myth, in order to dupe the less informed into thinking that they are not really in rebellion to the governing covenant of God’s law when they deny their Creator. That ruse worked only for a little while by having so called scientists teach that such a myth was scientifically possible, until DNA proved them all wrong, but that hasn’t stopped them, proving to all that it was never truth that they were after, it was unadulterated rebellion against God and His covenant all along that drove them. Malachi 2:11 “Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem, for Judah has profaned the Lord’s holy institution which He loves: he has married the daughter of a foreign god.” The prophet Malachi is dealing with two separate issues that have relevance to one another, he is first dealing with a spiritual issue, and secondly, with a physical one. The spiritual issue is their idolatry, and the physical issue is their violation of the institution of marriage. Violation of God’s covenant which is spiritual adultery in nature, is always followed by the violation of God’s laws that govern the physical interactions of mankind. We see that in our culture today, first comes the rejection of God as our Father and Creator, which is then followed by the rejection of the Lord’s holy institutions, such as that of marriage being between a man and a woman. The profaning of God’s covenant always follows a natural and predictable progression that is fraught with evil consequences. But wait it gets worse! Malachi 2:12 “May the Lord cut off from the tents of Jacob the man who does this, being awake and aware, yet who brings an offering to the Lord of Hosts!” The evolution of their rebellion is now very clear. There is now proof available to the nations of the world, scientific proof, that God is not only our Father and Creator, but that He is coming back soon to establish His kingdom here on earth, and yet their rebellion is breathtaking, to the point that they think that God will have to accept their redefinition of God’s holy institutions which they have perverted. Malachi 2:17 “You have wearied the Lord with your words; yet you say, ‘In what way have we wearied Him?’ In that you say, ‘Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He delights in them,’ or ‘Where is the God of justice?’” Once their cover was blown and were finally out of excuses about God’s true existence, they resorted to redefining the terms of God’s covenant by saying: Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, after all, they say, God is love, and then they comfort themselves by saying: Where is the God of justice? In other words, we have been getting away with it all these many years, why judge us now? Malachi 4:1 “For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, that will leave them neither root nor branch.” God’s wheels of justice may seem to move slowly to the wicked, but when they finally come there will be no compromise, for the Lord’s covenant is unbreakable, immutable, and unchangeable. The only protection afforded to us is to stay connected to the roots of the covenant which God handed down to us through the fathers, by keeping the godly traditions and acknowledging Him who created us and who sustains us. Malachi 4:2-3 “But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this, says the Lord.” It pays to stay faithful to the covenant, for after all, our God is a merciful God who loves us, but if we disown Him, He will disown us and have no choice other than to reject those who reject Him. Malachi 4:6 “And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” Let us strive to make sure that our hearts are towards the godly traditions that the fathers have handed down to us, let us remain faithful to them, do not fall for the persuading lies of the devil that prompt you to break away from tradition, for if you do, your feet are not swift enough to deliver you from the strike of the curse upon the earth that follows such treacherous rebellion. - THE NATIONS SHALL SEE | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
THE NATIONS SHALL SEE To encourage believers to prepare their hearts for the unfolding of God’s wonders in the world, recognizing that while unbelievers will respond in fear and shame, the faithful can take refuge in God’s promises and see Christ’s return as their great hope and salvation. THE NATIONS SHALL SEE Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: To encourage believers to prepare their hearts for the unfolding of God’s wonders in the world, recognizing that while unbelievers will respond in fear and shame, the faithful can take refuge in God’s promises and see Christ’s return as their great hope and salvation. Synopsis: This teaching, drawn from Micah 7:16, reflects on the prophetic declaration that nations will be ashamed when confronted with the majesty and power of God. The message connects contemporary signs and prophetic voices with Scripture, suggesting that times of great wonders may soon be revealed, not only to the church but to the entire world. Believers are exhorted to “enter into the Rock”—Christ Himself—by trusting in God’s promises as protection from the terror and deception that will accompany these events. In contrast, unbelievers will seek refuge in fear, misled by the enemy’s lies, and will ultimately face the judgment of the very Rock they rejected. The lesson warns of the enemy’s strategy to distort the truth of Jesus’ return, even portraying Him as an alien invader, preparing the world to unite under the Antichrist. Yet for Christians, the Word of God provides assurance: Christ’s return is not for condemnation but for deliverance, reward, and eternal joy. Through personal testimony of a vision of the rapture, the teaching highlights the awe, fear, and joy of encountering Christ’s glory. Ultimately, it affirms that while the world trembles at His majesty, the faithful can rest in His eternal promises, knowing He comes as Savior, not Judge. Inspired Teaching: Micah 7:16 “The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might; they shall put their hand over their mouth; their ears shall be deaf.” As I prepared the prayer page for January of 2014 the Lord began to impress on me that this year will be a year of wonders. I pondered whether it would be a year of wonders for us personally, and by that I mean, us the church, or whether it would be a year of wonders for the nations as well. It seems that many others have received the same message about 2014 possibly being a year of wonders, which leads me to believe that this year, wonders may be revealed not only to the church in general, but to the people of the nations of the world as well. One of the things that I read about that have many talking about the year 2014 had to do with a Jewish Rabbi in Israel named Kaduri, who claimed that Messiah had revealed Himself to him. He said that Messiah told him that soon after the former prime minster of Israel Ariel Sharon died, that Messiah would return, then he wrote in a piece of paper the name of Messiah, sealed it in an envelope, then gave instructions not to open the envelope until a year after he, the rabbi, had died himself. I believe the rabbi died at the ripe age of 108 in the year 2007 or 2008, a year after he died they opened the envelope according to his instructions, and to everyone’s surprise he named Jesus as the Messiah who appeared to him, which to say the least caused a lot of controversy at the time. At the beginning of this new year of 2014, the news came that the condition of the former prime minister of Israel, Ariel Sharon, who has been in a coma for about seven years, had deteriorated considerably. That got a lot of people talking about that this may be the year when the Lord reveals Himself to the nations. I confess that I had not heard about the Rabbi’s prophecy until I read about it in the internet a couple of days ago, on the sixth of January. The things that I want to deal with in this lesson are the implications that an open manifestation of worldwide wonders would have upon us believers, what these wonders could possibly be, and how they would affect us as individuals. Isaiah 2:10 “Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty.” As the Lord was impressing on me that this might be a year of wonders, He gave me the above Scripture, which I opened with in the prayers that empower page, on the prayer focus for January of 2014, and I wrote that this might be our theme for the whole year: Enter into the Rock. And as I was meditating on Isaiah’s counsel to enter into the Rock and hide in the dust, the Lord revealed to me that the dust was a reference to hide within the multitudes of His many promises. As when the Lord promised Abraham that his seed would be like the sand of the seashore. So that the way that we enter into the Rock and hide from the terror of His majestic wonders is by taking shelter within the many promises that He has given to all who keep His Word and who have not denied His name. It is interesting that Micah reveals what is going to happen to those who do not embrace God’s Word or revere the name of Jesus when the heavenly wonders begin to unfold. Micah 7:17 “They shall lick the dust as a serpent; they shall crawl from their holes like snakes of the earth. They shall be afraid of the Lord our God, and shall fear because of You.” It is also interesting what the book of Revelation says is going to happen to the unbelievers of this world when the majesty of the Lord is revealed from heaven. Revelation 6:14-17 “Then the sky receded like as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” Kind of ironic that while the believers are trusting God’s promises, and by so doing are entering into the Rock of their salvation, the unbelievers are running to the caves and rocks only to find themselves crushed by the very Rock that they have rejected and the promises that they have ridiculed. Micah 7:18 “Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy.” I just read about a poll today that said that more Americans believe on aliens today than those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. And it is not surprising to me, since so many books and television programs continuously try to explain those things from the past which science cannot explain by attributing it to the workings of ancient aliens. What is the devil’s goal in all of this? For a while now I have been asking this rhetorical question of those of you who read my writings: When the majesty of Jesus is revealed in the sky will you see Him as your Savior or as your judge? Guess how the devil wants people to see the return of Jesus? The devil wants you to see Jesus return as a ferocious alien who is coming to take over the earth and to subjugate all the people as slaves to do His will. It was former US president Ronald Reagan who told the general assembly of the United Nations how petty our human differences would seem if all of the sudden the entire world was threaten by alien invaders. Just how do you think the antichrist rises to power and unites the entire world behind him to fight against Jesus Christ? Scripture teaches us that he cannot be revealed and take over the world until the true believers are removed from this earth. 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” The goal of the enemy is to pervert the teachings about the soon return of Jesus to rescue us, to the point where believers are mislead as to who the real Jesus is, and as to what His intentions are, and the devil will do this through the power of fear, when the mighty wonders are revealed. After all, this is what is written about then; Isaiah called the wonders: The terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty. Micah said, They shall be afraid of the Lord our God and shall fear because of You. But here is one of the many promises that we can envelope ourselves with and be protected from the spirit of fear: 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” The question that I often ask about how we will see Jesus when He returns, as a Savior or as a judge? Is rooted in the Scripture above. I know that Jesus has forgiven me all of my sins, past, present and future. I know that I have already been judged and have passed from death into life, so that I fear no torment. I know as a matter of fact that when Jesus returns, He is coming to take me to a place that He has prepared for me. I know that He is coming to welcome me into His joy, and I know for sure that He has good plans for me. How do I know all of that? That is what He promises me in His Word! And not only to me, but to all who are willing to believe in His Word. 1 Corinthians 13:7-8 “(Love) Bears all things, believes all things (in the Word of God where the love of God towards us humans is revealed), hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails…” Micah 7:19 “He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins (past, present and future) into the depths of the sea.” John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” John 14:3 “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” Matthew 25:23 “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” In 1989 I experienced a vision of the rapture, you can read the entire vision in the introduction pages of my book Man’s Final Destiny, available free in the books section of www.houseoffaithministries.org . When I saw the wonder of Jesus revealed in the sky as He was heading rapidly towards me, my body became unglued, I cannot sufficiently explain the terrible fear that I felt as I first looked at Him in His glory. Every cell in my body was trembling so violently that I felt like my entire body was coming undone, and yet in the midst of the great and terrifying fear that my physical body was experiencing, the real me, my spirit man, rose from deep within me and shouted at the top of his voice: HALLELUJAH HE KEPT HIS PROMISE! I will never again experience, until Jesus returns for me in the rapture, such great joy and such dreadful fear as I experienced in that vision. I’m just sharing this so that you can see where I am coming from. John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” There is nothing that we can do to prepare our flesh for its inevitable encounter with the glory of Jesus, for the flesh of those who are being rapture dies the instant that it beholds His glorious and wonderful majesty, for no mortal flesh can withstand such glory. But for those of us who fully embrace the promises of God deep within our hearts, at His revealing, our spirit man will be clothed with a new, immortal, and eternal physical body, that will never cease to give Him the glory, honor, and the praise that He deserves. We do not yet know what kind of wonders will be revealed from heaven this year, and we do not know what lies the devil will infuse into the world as he tries to deceive the elect if it were possible. But we know this: THE WORD OF GOD AND ALL ITS PROMISES STANDS ETERNAL IN THE HEAVENS. 2 Corinthians 5:1 “For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” Previous Next Home
- THE SECRET THINGS JUDGMENT | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
THE SECRET THINGS JUDGMENT The objective of this teaching is to help believers understand the significance of God’s coming judgment, particularly the “judgment seat of Christ,” where hidden and secret things of the heart will be revealed. Pastor Marcos emphasizes how these concealed areas, often strongholds in our souls, can hinder spiritual fruit in our lives. The teaching aims to encourage believers to confront and overcome these hidden hindrances now—through the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit—so that they may live fruitful, Spirit-led lives, glorify Christ, and receive eternal rewards. THE SECRET THINGS JUDGMENT Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to help believers understand the significance of God’s coming judgment, particularly the “judgment seat of Christ,” where hidden and secret things of the heart will be revealed. Synopsis: The Secret Things Judgment explores the biblical truth that every work, including secret things, will one day be brought to judgment by God (Ecclesiastes 12:14). Pastor Marcos contrasts two judgments revealed in Scripture: the judgment seat of Christ, where believers are tested and rewarded, and the great white throne judgment, reserved for unbelievers. He explains that while salvation cannot be lost, believers will give account for their works—whether they were done in the flesh or through the Spirit. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 3, Pastor Marcos teaches that works rooted in selfish ambition or natural strength will burn like wood, hay, and straw, but works produced by the Spirit will endure like gold, silver, and precious stones. The fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23) stands as the evidence of lasting works. However, “secret things”—unexposed strongholds within the soul—can hinder this fruit. The lesson provides practical self-examination, showing how to identify and confront hindrances to love, joy, peace, and other fruits of the Spirit. The Word of God, described as both a fire and a hammer (Jeremiah 23:29), is presented as the tool to break down these hidden barriers and purify the believer. Pastor Marcos stresses that believers need not wait until the Day of Judgment to be purified; they can allow the Spirit and the Word to refine them now. Ultimately, the teaching calls believers to embrace God’s love, demolish hidden strongholds, and live Spirit-filled lives that produce eternal fruit. Pastor Marcos concludes with the joy of serving Christ selflessly, knowing that even one act of obedience leading a soul back to God brings immeasurable delight to the Lord. Inspired Teaching: Ecclesiastes 12:14 “For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.” In this lesson on deliverance we are going to deal with a very interesting subject, the judgment of works. Notice how king Solomon puts the emphasis on the secret things and how they relate to the Day of judgment. So that we are all on the same page, let me first outline the perimeter of what we are talking about in this lesson. 2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” Paul sheds a great amount of light into what king Solomon was teaching. For in the New Testament we learn that there are two judgments, the final or general judgment, and what Paul calls the judgment seat of Christ. If you die in Christ, and by that I mean that you are saved and when you die you go straight to heaven, as it is written: 2 Corinthians 5:8 “...To be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” Then you must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, which is not a judgment of damnation but of rewards or the lack of them. When an unbeliever dies, he goes straight to Hades, which is a kind of an un-finalized hell, for the real hell is the burning lake of fire. Those who are in Hades will not be thrown into the lake of fire until after they face the final judgment, called the great white throne judgment. Which will not take place for at least another thousand years. Revelation 20:11-12 “Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.” The judgment that we are dealing with in this lesson is the judgment of the believers, for that is to whom I am writing this lesson for. So that if you are a believer you need to know how these secret things that will be revealed at the judgment seat of Christ after we die, can be dealt with in the here and now before we die, but first we need to know what they are and how they affect us. If you are not a believer yet, you can become one right now by simply repenting of all your sins and confessing before Jesus that you are a sinner and that you want Him to forgive you of all your sins, and if you truly mean it with your heart, Jesus will forgive you immediately and this lesson will apply to you as well. Now, that was simple! Now that the perimeters are established let us deal with the judgment of the believers. Why is there a judgment seat of Christ for us who believe? 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 “...But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day (of the judgment seat of Christ) will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss (lack of reward); but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” Paul lays it out very clearly, since our salvation is a gift from God, and since the gifts of God are irrevocable: Romans 11:29, we cannot lose our salvation. However we have the privilege to minister to others the free salvation that our Lord offers to all who believe, and as fellow ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ we become partakers of the rewards of serving Jesus Christ. Romans 8:16-17 “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” From the time we got saved and for all the things we built our lives around on, we will have to give an account to God. If we live for our own selfish interests after we get saved, those things which we have accomplished will not survive the fire of the judgment Day anymore than wood, hay, or straw, can survive a raging fire storm. However, if we build our lives after we get saved around those things which are eternal, they, like gold, silver, and precious stones, will survive the fire of the Day of judgment and we will get a reward for them. How do I know which one of my deeds will survive the fire and which ones will not? Nothing that we do that flows out of our natural strength, our flesh, will ever survive the raging fire of the Day of judgment, as it is written: Romans 7:18 “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.” The only thing that will survive the fire of judgment is spiritual fruit, for the Spirit of the Lord is a consuming fire that will not consume Himself or His own fruit, as it was revealed to Moses at the burning bush. Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law (no law means no judgment).” That is what Paul meant when he said that in his flesh nothing good dwelled, he implied that only that which proceeded from the Spirit of God that was in him, and that saved him, is what counted. Galatians 5:25 “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Now what about the secret things, what does it mean by secret things? The production of spiritual fruit in us and through us is hindered by those secret things in us that have not yet been exposed to the light of God’s judgment. What are these secret things? They are strongholds within our souls that are yet to be broken down by the Spirit of God, we may be aware of them or we may not, but until they are removed from us, those areas of our lives to which they are connected will not produce sufficient spiritual fruit, because of their hindrance. How can we know if there is a spiritual stronghold within us? Probably one of the easiest ways to know if there is a secret or hidden thing in our souls that is keeping us from producing spiritual fruit is to see which spiritual fruit in us its hindering. For example, let’s start with the first spiritual fruit, the fruit of love, and by asking these questions we will know if we have a stronghold that hinders the way that we are supposed to love: Is my love towards God hindered in any way? Do I love and accept myself the way that God does? Do I love others with the same intensity that I love my self? You’ll be surprised to know how many people have difficulties relating to God from a love perspective. And if we can truly love God, then how can we truly love ourselves, and if we have trouble loving and accepting ourselves, how can we be expected to love others and accept them as they are, for that is how God accepts us, as we are. If my ability to fully and completely love God, my self, and others is blocked, how do I remedy it? John 13:34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” The Word of God reveals the intensity with which God loves us, as well as the perfection and steadfastness of His love for us. If you do not know God’s love for you is it because you do not know His Word. Jeremiah 23:29 “Is not My word like a fire? Says the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” The Word of God is not only the hammer that breaks down the hidden strongholds within us, but is also the fire of judgment that cleanses and purifies us while in the here and now. If you have difficulties loving yourself or others, study the love of God revealed to us in His Word, accept it personally, and let it burn away deep within your soul the stains that soiled your soul when the love of others let you down. As it is written: Hebrews 13:5 “...For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” Hebrews 12:29 “For our God is a consuming fire.” Jeremiah 31:3 “The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” We can do the same with the rest of the fruit of the Spirit, if you lack joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, read how in the Word of God they all have been made available to us freely, but you have to swing the hammer and light the fire. We need to understand that before we enter into the joy of our Lord all these hindrances are going to be demolish at the judgment seat of Christ. But we do not need to wait until then, we can do it now, so that we are able to serve our King and Savior without hesitation or limitations. Yes, there will be a reward, but it's not the reward that really motivates me, I can just picture the joy in my Lord’s face when in a selfless act one of my actions causes one of His lost children to return home to Him. Oh, what a privilege it is to serve the One who loves me so much! Hate, fear, doubt, unbelief, are all the result of us not understanding the fullness of God’s love for us, why don’t you start there, in God’s love, take whatever hate remains in your soul and break it to pieces with the hammer of God’s Word, then set it on fire and let the wind of the Spirit of God remove it from you as far as the east is from the west. James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. The cure for double-mindedness is the surety of the promises that are found in the Word of God. Remember that the salvation of others may depend in you being able to break down some of the strongholds that keep you tied down today, if you can or won’t do it for yourself, will you do it for them? James 5:19-20 “Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.” Previous Next Home

Synopsis: This message, rooted in Zephaniah 3:17, highlights the hope and assurance that Christ—the Mighty One—will soon return to save His people. It explains that the prophetic warnings given to Jerusalem in Zephaniah’s day carry a dual meaning, applying also to the end times and the state of modern Christianity. The text warns of a rebellious and polluted church, paralleling the Laodicean church in Revelation, which stands on its own traditions and wealth rather than the power and correction of the Holy Spirit. Such religious complacency fosters idolatry, compromise with the world, and the preaching of “another Jesus.” The result is a faith that denies the active involvement of God and mocks His promised return. Zephaniah’s prophecy is applied to today’s church, revealing that many leaders have corrupted the sanctuary, polluted worship, and abandoned the authority of God’s Word. Yet, God remains faithful—He is in the midst of His people and continues to call them to repentance, humility, and righteousness. The Day of the Lord is described as imminent, terrifying, and inescapable—a time of wrath, devastation, and judgment from which only the faithful will be rescued. Believers are called to stay true to God’s Word despite ridicule and persecution, resisting the world’s influence and the compromise of lukewarm religion. Finally, the message closes with hope: those who endure will be vindicated. God will restore, gather, and exalt the faithful who sorrow over the condition of the church. In a divine reversal, the very ones who are now shamed for holding firmly to Scripture will be honored and praised among the nations when Christ returns. Inspired Teaching: Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” There has never been a time in the history of the Christian church when so many of the signs that point to the end of times have been revealed, and when so many of the end time prophecies that precede the Lord’s return have been fulfilled. We are not only the generation that will witness the glorious return of our Lord to save us, but we are right in the end of the time that has been allotted to that final generation. The return of our Lord is imminent! It is implied in our opening text that before our Lord returns, that it would be a time of great turbulence and upheaval, for we are told that at His return He will quiet us with His love. Let us take a sober look at how the events that are taking place all around us right now fit within the prophetic scenario that is given before the return of our Lord. Zephaniah 3:1-2 “Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, to the oppressing city! She has not obeyed His voice, she has not received correction; she has not trusted in the Lord, she has not drawn near to her God.” When Zephaniah first uttered his prophetic words, they were meant as an indictment against the city of Jerusalem and the people of Judah. But it is very clear within the context of his prophecy that there is a double meaning to his prophetic vision that clearly is applicable to what the prophet calls the day of the Lord’s fierce anger, that foretells about the end of time, as we see in the opening verses of his prophetic vision. Zephaniah 1:2-3 “I will utterly consume (make a complete end of) everything from the face of the land, says the Lord; I will consume man and beast; I will consume the birds of the heavens, the fish of the sea, and the stumbling blocks (idols) along with the wicked. I will cut off man from the face of the land (ground), says the Lord.” It is clear from the sweeping judgments against man, beast, sea, ground, air, idols, and the wicked, presented in the opening of this prophecy, that God was clearly foretelling something more than what their present condition required. He was also speaking about the Day of the Lord’s wrath during the time of the latter days, our present day time. So that when He said in the previous verse: Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted about the city of Jerusalem of Zephaniah’s day, that He also had an end time entity in mind as well. It is very possible that the Lord is referring to a large portion of end time Christianity, what He calls in Revelation the Laodicea church. Revelation 3:15-17 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.” It is clear from the context that our Lord’s focus is against Christian religious organizations of the end times that seem to be standing in their own merits and traditions, rather than having a continuous need for the Lord to be their entire focus; refusing the correction of the Holy Spirit, and not fully trusting in the Lord as their redeemer, having need of nothing. When a church entity becomes organized to the point that their bylaws and traditions take precedent over the guidance and counsel of the Holy Spirit, that church entity is in rebellion to the will of God for her and by her rebellion becomes polluted; it ceases to be a house of deliverance and becomes a house of oppressing legalism. If we think of the two thousand years church history as training and preparation for an event that will surpass every other event in human history, the coming of the Mighty One, then we can see why it is so important that the church be obedient and prepared, for we do not know how events will unfold before His return, so that we need to be in tune with His Word and with the revelation that the Holy Spirit brings to get us ready to be taken up with Him in a moments notice. Zephaniah 3:4 “Her prophets are insolent, treacherous people; her priests have polluted (profaned) the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law (did not stay true to His Word).” In the book of Revelation, the difference between the Philadelphia church that gets taken up in the rapture, and the Laodicea church that gets left behind, is that the Philadelphia church kept His Word and did not deny the Lord’s name, obviously the Laodicea church had need of none of those things, for it could stand on its own religious merits. Zephaniah 3:5 “The Lord is righteous in her midst, He will do no unrighteousness, every morning He brings His justice to light; He never fails, but the unjust knows no shame.” The Lord makes it very clear that even though the Laodicea church is in disobedience, that it still belongs to Him for He is in her midst, and after all, He promised His church to never leave her nor to forsake her; so if He were to abandon her that would be wrong, and He will do no unrighteousness, even if they continuously flaunt their disobedience in spite of His daily warnings against her, but they seem to know no shame. Who are these people? It is hard for me to reconcile the Christianity that I know with some of the people that are described as Christian ministers during the end of time in many of the end time prophecies. But Zephaniah gives us some great insight that will help us identify who some of these people might be, for they will be sharing some of the same qualities that the prophets and priests of his days had. Zephaniah 1:4-5 “I will stretch out My hand against Judah, and against the inhabitants of Jerusalem (for our present day interpretation this prophecy is against the Laodicea church). I will cut every trace of Baal (the false lord, or the other Jesus that they preach) from this place, (along with) the names of the idolatrous priests (Christian ministers that practice or follow pagan traditions along) with the pagan priests—those who worship the host of heaven on the house tops (astrologers); those who worship and swear oaths by the Lord (clearly referring to Christians), but also swear by Milcom (or Molech, to whom infants were offered as sacrifices during Zephaniah’s time, our present day abortionists).” We can clearly see that in end time Christianity there will be different churches, that to different degrees, will preach another Jesus, along with a different gospel that is influenced by the spirit of paganism, and that many of them will be supporters of abortion rights. And this is what they will acknowledge by their actions, the actions that will eventually bring God’s judgment upon them: Zephaniah 1:6 “Those (these are they that) who have turned back from following the Lord, and have not sought the Lord, nor inquired of Him.” Zephaniah 1:12 “And it shall come to pass at that time that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and punish the men who are settled in complacency (lukewarmness, the Laodicea church), who say in their heart, ‘The Lord will not do good, nor will He do evil.’” If religion has a goal, it is that of pushing God out to the back so that it, religion, can become the final arbiter in any given matter. In order to do that it has to neutralize God first, to the point where God becomes a bystander, a simple observer, and therefore it falls upon religion the sacred duties of deciding what is right and what is wrong. However, this is what God says is going to happen to religion when the time for God to act finally comes: Zephaniah 1:13 “Therefore their goods shall become booty, and their houses a desolation; they shall build houses, but not inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards, but not drink their wine.” What it finally boils down to is the fact that religion cannot sustain itself in the day of God’s wrath. For the day of God’s wrath is a day when the truth is revealed, and religion is built on a myth, the myth that God is not active in man’s affairs, and that He will not involve Himself in the everyday workings of His creation. This is why the belief that Jesus is coming back soon for His church, to set up His everlasting kingdom, is laughed at by many within the Laodicea church today. But how is this for their wake-up call! Zephaniah 1:14-16 “The great day of the Lord is near; it is near and hastens quickly, the noise of the day of the Lord is bitter; there the mighty men shall cry out. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of devastation and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of trumpet and alarm against the fortified cities and against the high towers.” If I can encapsulate the flavor of what the prophet is telling us, this is how I would do it: That the day of the Lord is COMING SOON! And that the day of the Lord is REAL! And that the day of the Lord if going to be a BAD DAY! The day of the Lord is a day from which we will need to be RESCUED! The only way that a reasonable person, a person that calls himself a believer, cannot understand the clarity with which the Scriptures describes the end of times, is if such a person just decides that God does not mean what he says in His Word. In other words, they do not keep His Word, because if they do they would have to do away with all of their idolatries and man made doctrines. But as usual there is hope for those of us who put our hope in Him, and who trust on the veracity of God’s Word, and not on the corrupted religious traditions of men and demons by which so many unwilling Christians are enslave into their idolatry. Zephaniah 2:3 “Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have held up His justice (Word). Seek righteousness (not religion), seek humility (realize that we are always in need of Him and His grace). It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger.” There is a price to pay for being an ardent adherent of God’s Word, there is no doubt about that. We are ridiculed constantly for the fervency with which we believe the inerrancy of Scripture, many a times from our own quarters. We are defamed in many instances, not just by the world, but by Laodicean Christians that believe that our stance against compromise with the world is a hindrance to their version of Christianity being accepted by the world, even though we are clearly warned in Scripture against being loved by the world or us loving the things that the world stands for: 1 John 2:15 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him.” But you see, once you start denying the parts of Scripture that hinder what it is that you want to accomplish in what you yourself believe, then what is there to keep you from removing anything else from Scripture that does not conform with your relationship with the world? Here is the reason why we need to stay true to the Word of God. This is what God promises those who endure the afflictions of their ridicule and ostracizing for our staying true, in spite of their persecution and defamation, to the Word of God. Zephaniah 3:18-20 “I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly (the condition of the Laodicean church), who are among you, to whom its reproach is a burden. Behold, at that time I will deal with all who afflict you; I will save the lame (those whose ministry was hindered by their slanderous accusations), and gather those who were driven out (kicked out of their churches for exposing their compromise); I will appoint them for praise and fame in every land (place) where they were put to shame. At that time I will bring you back, even at the time I gather you; for I will give you fame and praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I return your captives before your eyes, says the Lord.” Those who compromise the Word of God today, do it to gain the praise and fame of the world, and in a twist of irony, that is exactly what God is going to give to those who refuse to compromise the Word of God today, in the world that is to come. GOD THE FATHER The objective of this teaching is to help believers build a deeper trust in God as their Heavenly Father by learning to see Him apart from flawed earthly examples of fatherhood. Through Scripture, this message encourages listeners to recognize the perfect relationship between Jesus and the Father as the model for their own relationship with God, and to grow in faith, obedience, and spiritual maturity. < Back GOD THE FATHER Minister Lisa Kane July 17, 2023 Objective: The objective of this teaching is to help believers build a deeper trust in God as their Heavenly Father by learning to see Him apart from flawed earthly examples of fatherhood. Through Scripture, this message encourages listeners to recognize the perfect relationship between Jesus and the Father as the model for their own relationship with God, and to grow in faith, obedience, and spiritual maturity. Synopsis: In this message, Lisa Kane explores the role of God as Father, drawing from John 10:30 where Jesus declares, “I and my Father are one.” The teaching emphasizes that by knowing Jesus, believers also come to know the Father, since Christ is the living Word and the perfect example of trust and obedience. Jesus’ willingness to lay down His life in faith that the Father would raise Him again illustrates the ultimate expression of trust and relationship. Lisa contrasts the heavenly Father with earthly fathers, acknowledging that many have experienced disappointment, absence, or brokenness in human relationships. However, unlike human fathers, God patiently trains, guides, and waits for His children to return to Him, always offering love, correction, and restoration. The message highlights Scriptures such as Exodus 20:12, Proverbs 22:6, and Proverbs 3:5–6, showing how God acts as a true parent who teaches, disciplines, and blesses His children. Practical applications include trusting God beyond worldly reasoning, measuring relationships by God’s standard rather than cultural ones, and recognizing that spiritual growth is a process in which God meets His children at their level of readiness. Lisa also stresses that salvation is secure, as God’s love and patience endure while He draws people back to Himself. The message closes with a call to repentance, encouragement to pursue a genuine relationship with God through His Word, and assurance that honoring and trusting the Father leads to blessing, spiritual maturity, and eternal life. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and recording this on Monday, July 17th, 2023. Welcome. This message is called God the Father. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for who you are. We thank you for building our trust in you. You know, I understand that we've been disappointed by role models and relationships that we've had here on the earth. Well, but with you, we can put all that aside and trust in you because you are always there even if we don't understand it. And I pray, Father God, that I can eloquently explain this message to the world on your behalf. So come through me, speak through me, you do this, Father God, and we thank you and we bless this word. We ask for your blessing on it. We thank you in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Uh I'm trying a little different background. We are here in Missouri now and I'm going to be here in this particular place for 6 months, maybe about five and a half months now. And uh so I don't have my lighting out, but this room is extremely bright. So I'm kind of hoping we have a little overcast today. Probably going to get a storm later this evening if I understand the weather correctly. Now we'll see. And then I still have this lingering cough. Pray for me in the name of Jesus. Let's get rid of this thing now. Yeah. you know. Okay, let's go to our opening scripture here. John 10:30. I and my father are one. And um this message is going to be about relationships. And I hope to build your um trust value or trust factor up with the Lord. That's my goal with this message for one and two to help you not look at God based on your worldly experiences. I want you to see God in the heavenly realm and experience him heavenly like. That's what this message is about. Amen. So, let's dig right in. So, it's called God the Father. We're going to be talking about the father role here. Now, notice though, we have an example in the word of God. Look at this opening scripture. John 10:30. I and my father are one. So, Jesus is saying that if you look at me, you're going to see my father. So if you know Jesus, you know the father. Jesus is the perfect example for us to follow in having that relationship because Jesus obviously trusted God. Let's go a little further. We're still in John 10. Now we're going to look at verses 17- 18. Therefore, my father loves me because I laid down my life that I may take it again. Pause. That very sentence is very powerful. Jesus is saying, "Yes, I'm going to go lay down my life because I know my father is going to pick me up and give it to me again. I'm going to pick it up actually." And and so let's pause for a moment. Let's let's identify Jesus, the son of God, here for a moment. I've taught on this already, so I'm just going to do a highle overview. But if you compare John 1:1 against Genesis 1 1-4, you will find that Jesus is the one who says, "Let there be light." There was light and it was good. So now Jesus has been the epiphany the whole time. This is him. The word of God is Jesus. Jesus John 1:1 I um in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. Jesus was the word. Jesus is the word. So we have the Bible today which is Jesus. So if you need to hear from Jesus, you don't have to spiritually hear. You can, but it always you need to check that voice because you don't know if a demon is talking to you. You have to be very careful. You check it against the word of God. If the word of God says exactly what you heard in your head, you know that's the heavenly father speaking to you. That's Jesus speaking to you. Jesus has been this role. So you can go back to the very beginning, you know, and I know I've been watching um on TikTok uh a true Christian ministry. I don't know the gentleman's name. I think it's Mike, but he he answers questions from people. A lot of their questions very interesting. You know, why would God create a hell? Why would God not just put all the good people on here? But see, this is what was so interesting is God chose this path. He knew what would happen. He made perfect utopia with Adam. No woman, just Adam and him. And they had this relationship and it was awesome. You go read this in Genesis 1, two, three, all the way to the end of three. And uh you can start to see when Eve comes in and then the deception. Uh you can see that God made it perfect. And what happened is Eve and Adam sinned. They disobeyed God. And the moment they did that, sin entered the picture and now everything goes corrupt. And and and I guess people don't understand that or don't want to understand. And part part of it is you have a generation today that the Bible was taken out of and they have no belief factor. And so they question everything, which is what a scientist teaches you, question everything. Well, you know, then you need to question a trust factor. Do you really trust the word of God above what scientists are telling you? Because see, scientists think they're telling you what they know. Do they really know the Earth is billions of years old? They don't know it. It's a theory. I But it's so interesting how they word it. You You could open up dinosaur books. A fact. Six million years ago, dinosaur. How do you know that? That that's not a fact. You see, you cannot trust science. But if you start with the word of God and you put that first and then you look at the evidence the earth offers, you will find truth. So now that should build your trust up a bit. So here Jesus, so when God made man in his image, he already knew. So he chose this path. So Jesus at that very moment had already been asked by his father, I need you to go lay your life down for me. Look at the scripture. Let's continue on in the scripture because this is what God had asked him. Look at this. Uh and and you know this because Jesus is telling us in his time. It's not written in Genesis. But watch this. Watch this. Says, "Because I laid down my life that I may take it again." Verse 18, "No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down and I have power to take it again. this command I have received from my father. So Jesus clearly is saying, I'm doing what my father told me to do. And he said, I'm going to have my life again if I do this. And as I've taught many times when he caught up on that cross, he's thinking of every human being that's ever lived in this earth. And he says, "I'm here to save you." And he did it. He did it. He went to the cross and he died. And guess what? his body's not in the grave. He rose from the grave three days later. And this was simply his father asking him. So let's go validate what that means because this is this is very very powerful. This has an impact on you. Watch this. In Exodus 2012, one of the ten commandments is honor your father and your mother that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you. Now Paul reiterates it in Ephesians 6 2 and 3. Honor your father and mother. Look what he says. Which is the first commandment with promise that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth. Jesus fulfilled that. He honored his father. He went to the cross and said, "You commanded me to do this. I'm gonna do it, Lord. I'm gonna sacrifice my life because I know I'm going to pick it up again because you said so." He trusted his father. Now, I'm going to pause here and I'm I'm going to show you what you already know. How many of you were raised with no father? How many of you had a father that disappointed you? How many fathers or how many people had fathers that were drunks? They're men and they're sin. They're they're living in sin. But there are still many fathers who repented and did the best they could. So now in your experience, who should you look to? Now even if I, you know, I grew up with a Christian father. We became Christians when I was six years old. My father was strict, you know. He raised us properly. He taught me how to manage my money, taught me how to have that self-confidence in the world, how to navigate the world. And this is what our father should be teaching us. By the way, Godfather, our God, our heavenly father teaches us that. I'm going to kind of go into that a bit here in a minute. But I want you to see how sometimes our fathers didn't do that. Now, we may have had role models that we can follow, but there's always a disappointment factor. See, what people forget is we're in time. Time means we have a new day every day and it keeps on going till it ends, which has been prophesied it will end. God isn't in time. He is outside of time. So, if you live for God in January of 2023, but you kind of fall away for a few months, but then you come back cuz it's like a I remember my first um years as a young adult living for God. Sometimes I was on fire for God and there are other times he was the farthest thing from my mind. Months would go by without even reading my Bible or praying. And I remember identifying that and I asked God how to avoid that because I didn't want to live like a yo-yo. Now, did I lose my salvation in the midst of that? No. God was patient. You see, let's identify something here. So, if see, God is perfect gentleman. He's going to work with me. When a father is training a child, if you're training a toddler how to handle a gun, that toddler is not ready to handle a gun. So, you cannot do that. You see, you have to train them at the appropriate age that they are. So, when you are trying to train your young teenager who thinks they know everything, sometimes you have to step back and pray and leave it with the Lord's hands because they're not ready to hear anything you have to say. Right? So, in that January scenario that I just uh identified a few moments ago, if I was living for God in January 2023, let's say I'm 23 years old, just just hypothetically, and then I go five months without living for God, praying or anything, did I lose my salvation? No. Because what I did is like five months later, I said, "You know what, God, I need you." And I started again and I repent. But dad, no. God stood back because he waited for me to come back to him when I was ready in my time. That's what relationship is all about, guys. If you're trying to go ask out a a girl for a date and you're trying to see, you know, and you keep asking her, she keeps saying, "Leave me alone." Leave her alone. Pray if you want to pray. That might not be the right girl for you. But I'm going to tell you right now, you have to back off. That's what God the Father does until that person's ready to receive. This is why some people go to hell. They never want to have anything to do with God. That's their persona. That's their choice. They have that will to tell God, "Leave me alone." How many people I see it all the time on TikTok. How many people say, "Why do you force God down my throat?" We're not forcing God down your throat. The Holy Spirit is talking to you, but you keep doing this. And I'm telling you right now, he's going to back off, but he's going to remind you from time to time. Now, I know people who waited till they were in their 60s, close to retirement, when they said, "Oh, okay. Now I'll live for God." Because they wanted to in their mind, they wanted to enjoy the earth and everything it had to offer. Listen, my friend, you can enjoy Christ. You can enjoy life now with Christ at the center. You're not um withheld from anything. And if you think you want to enjoy drugs, I'm going to tell you right now, you never know when they'll take your life. This is why God teaches us not to have that. But here's this relationship factor that it it's about you. Now, this is you. This is your choice. You have to choose the right role model here. You have to choose, okay, Lord, I got to get into your word. I And and the only way you're going to know him is by reading his word. And if you think in your mind that you're stupid or dumb, I'm going to tell you right now, you are not. Because see, the Holy Spirit knows how to talk to you at your level. And you will get it. And maybe nobody else will, but you will get it. Because remember what Paul says, we know a part. Each of us know parts and God talks of uh talks to us in each of those parts. So let the Lord work with you and teach you and train you from his word. Let's continue on with the scriptures now. John 10:38. But if I do, now Jesus is talking to the Pharisees and the Sadducees. They're they're um you know complaining and blaspheing him. But if I do though you do not believe me, believe the works that you may know and believe that the father is in me and I in him. And so Jesus is taking it to the next level. He says, "I know you don't believe me. I get it." He says, "I I know you don't believe me." So he's telling the f Pharisees and Sadducees, which by the way, they reject him. They don't ever believe him. But here's the thing. He's telling them, "Even if you don't believe me, believe the works." Because he goes, "I did it because my father commanded me to do it." That's where your faith factor goes up. This is when you get to trust in the Lord because there's things and and it's all unique to each individual. I think I shared this in a couple messages ago. We were at an Airbnb about five or six days here before we moved into this place while we waited for them to get it ready. This is a brand new build here. And he we were all talking my family and I how we had prayed to God Lord I don't understand this part of scripture what what does it mean and each of us had done this at different times all on our own just talking to God and the very next day or within so many hours or within a few days each of us had an experience where either we turn the radio on the preacher starts preaching about that subject you asked God or all of a sudden you see a video and you see us teaching or suddenly somebody comes up and you guys talking about the Lord and the Lord tells you, that person tells you something and it was through the and you're sitting there going, "God answered my prayer." Believe the works. So, you see, he's telling you to believe the works. So, this is God training you how to trust him. Look at Proverbs. We got to go to Proverbs. This is important verse. Proverbs 22:6. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. So you as a parent do that and everybody looks at it from that perspective. But God as a parent does that to you. He's trying to train you up in the way right way to go. If you're 65 years old and you're re watching this video, he's still training you up in the right way to go. You got to understand time and death means nothing to God. He's just trying other than you know once you die and you keep rejecting him all the way unto death. That's an unforgivable sin. He you can't ask for forgiveness once you're dead. You have to repent here and now alive on this earth. So up until that moment that's the only thing. So God is working with you trying to reach you. And if you're getting all flustered and frustrated, stop shoving God down my throat. Listen, you're the one who has the skip, delete, no button, block button, use it. You want to reject God. Hey, that's your choice. Don't come complaining when you wake up in hell because it's too late by then. You rejected the one way you had out. And if you think that all ways get to God, let me tell you, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." No man, no man comes to the father except through him. Through Jesus. So to get to him, you have to go through Jesus. That's the path. If you and you think, "No, no, no. All ways." No, no, no, no. If I lived in Los Angeles and you lived in San Diego and I told you to take the five north to get to me, and you decide to take the five south and you start heading off to Baja California and whatnot and into Mexico, are you ever going to get to my address? No. You will not get to heaven if you choose to go another way other than Jesus. You just won't. That's just the way this goes. So God is trying to train you. And Jesus, who is the son of God, who says, "You want to know the father, you got to know me because you'll know the father through me because I'm in him. He's in me. I'm doing everything he commanded me to do." If that's the case, then you need to go read about Jesus. You need to see the works that he does. And if you have been somewhat following Jesus, you go to church, but you don't see any miracles. You question that even miracles exist. You wonder, you have to ask yourself, are you asking God or are you looking to man? And this is again the relationship part. This is where you have to say, you know what, I'm not going to talk to man about this. This is a heavenly spiritual matter. I need to go talk to God. And if you think, okay, well, I don't understand and I can't hear from him. All you have to do, open up the Bible. open it up anywhere and I promise you he will speak to you. And if you need to go to the Gospel, start with the Gospel of John because then you can really see Jesus walk on the earth, do his miracles, save people, heal people, and then go to the cross to redeem us of our sins. That is what he did. And so as you begin to read though, you're going to realize your soul, your spirit is saturating the word of God and it's going to bubble out of you and you're going to find this good news that you have in you and you're going to want to share it. I'm going to tell you right now for those of you that say, "Oh, stop." The reason I want to share with you is because I found the precious, most beautiful diamond that's so rare and I want to share it with you. I don't want to keep it to myself. Jesus is life. Look at me. I'm living and I'm excited. I'm not suffering like you. I'm Watch the works in me. Watch the transformation in me. You can go look at all my videos up and even to today. Watch. They're all dated the ones that I started doing and you can see the transformation take place even in the element of teaching because that's how God works. I spend time and I want to share it with you and I'm hoping that you enjoy the messages. Get encouraged. Get lifted up. There's one guy on TikTok, I love him. He comes right around the corner. Jesus is Lord. This is a new day. And he just shouts it out. I love that. And you want to say no to that. You think a drug is going to make you feel that way? No. Because there's consequences. You might feel that way for a precious 30 minutes, but after that, oh no, there's a crash that comes that you just don't like and won't like. Oh, let's continue on with the word of God. And look at Isaiah. And and and this is what God is saying. Come, let us reason together. Come talk to me. I will answer your questions. It's right here. Look at this. Is God training us. Isaiah 1:18. Come now and let us reason together, says the Lord. I know. He says, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be wool uh be as wool." Because he's saying, "I know you're a sinner. I know you don't understand, but I want to train you. I want to have a relationship with you. I want you to trust me." He says, "Come talk to me so I can explain it to you." And he does. But if you're doing this, how can he talk to you? How can you? You're just going to keep repeating the same stupid questions over and over. Okay, no question is stupid. I know it's valid, but God will answer it, but you got to get in there and say, "Lord, I need help with this question because it's affecting me spiritually. It's affecting my walk with you. I I think gays should be loved." And then you go read John 3:16. For God so loved the world. Oh, you do love them. And then he reminds you, I don't love the sin. I love the person. and I'm trying to get them out of sin. Paul talks heavily on all of the New Testament books that he wrote. He tells you get away from sin. Run from and you will have the self-control to run from it because that's the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives you self-control. And if you have to ask the Holy Spirit, Lord, I need self-control. That's a gift of the Holy Spirit. And then see, then the Holy Spirit gets to move in you. And he does transform you. You know, I don't need a high from the world. I don't need to be out till 3:00 in the morning at a bar partying with my ears going deaf from the music. I I don't need any of that. I have the most beautiful, perfect relationship with God. You know, he he showed me go to bed around 10 or 11. Try not to stay up too late, you know. And of course, you learn this as you get a little older. I'm in my early 50s, 53 years. I'll be 54 soon. And all I can tell you is that as you do mature, you get a little older, you do change in your taste. You want to go to bed between 10 and 11. Get up between 7 and 8. Or if you have to go to work, get up between 6:00 and 7. You know, these are reasonable things. But the Lord teaches you this as you mature and when you're and this is why I was telling you God waits for you to come back to him. This is why I believe you can't lose your salvation. I mean, who do you think God is? Do you really think he's evil enough to say that in time you believed at one point in your time, but since you didn't believe at the point you died? I mean, what kind of God is that? That's not God. And that's not what's taught in the Bible. He shows you his love. He shows you his patience. He just keeps waiting for you till you return. And I want to even add an element there. He teaches you as he and he's showing you this as a believer and and and you want to judge the world. I get it. We all want to judge. But he's also teaching you to look at them with his eyes, not your eyes. If you're going to judge a person, which he's given you the ability, and he teaches you how to judge in the word of God, by the way. If you're going to judge someone, you need to judge them with facts. You don't know the facts between that person and God. And that's intimate. That's them. So, take your eyes off of them. Put your eyes on God. As Colossians 3 says, put your things on your eyes on heavenly matters between you and God. Focus on your relationship. And you know what you need to do? Pray. Pray for them. And the Lord will. And even if you don't know what to pray, speak in tones. Speaking in tonesues edifies you. Edifies your spirit. And if that's what you need to do, speak in tongues to let that judgment go, then do it. If you need to and you think you have a factual event, hey Lord, I think my family member ran away with this money, but I don't know. But I'm lifting them up to you and I'm praying for them. And I just pray that one, they repent. I pray that they find you, that they live for you, glorify you, and I pray that they are blessed and in good health. And you know, and you learn this too because God teaches you these things as you mature and you get more in him because you're living for him. You're learning more from him. And the more that you learn, you see now I I learned just what a year ago, maybe a little less than pray for my neighbors. Why did I learn this? You know, there was a lot of thief going, you know, a lot of people stealing things all over the neighborhood. I started praying and it stopped. And what was I praying? Bless them, Lord, with things that they need. If they're stealing, they either need it or they really want it. But Lord, bless them financially so they can go get it themselves and not steal it from somebody else. And then the neighborhood got better. That, my friend, is God training us, teaching us. Look at this. Proverbs 22:19. So that your trust may be in the Lord, I have instructed you today, even you. Look at that. He's telling you, I'm teaching you things today. Whether you even see it or know it, um it could be like a near miss car accident. You see that and you stop and you go, "Wow, Lord, you you did that." I there was a testimony somebody was sharing. I don't know how true this is, and it's an old testimony about a car getting into an intersection and a truck going through them and and everybody survived. I don't know again how true it is, but I do know that Lord does things like that and he does things to reach you at a level so that you finally see the heavenly realm there. Um, I was walking up the stairs. This was many, many years ago, probably about 30 years ago, give or take now. And I can hear and and this was one of those moments. God was the furthest thing from me. Remember, he waits. And I don't know what he saw in my future, but he saw something there because all of a sudden I'm hearing this little voice in the back of my head. I'm walking upstairs. Go to church. Go to church. And I'm And and this is going on in the back of my head, but I'm fighting it. What? And I turned around on the stairs to tell this voice, I don't need to. And I stopped because all of a sudden, I'm experiencing the presence of the heavenly father. and he said, "Go to church." And I did. That's when I realized the yo-yo effected and my life changed. So, every person has a personal experience with God like that. Let him train you. Let him show you. And then trust him. Look at this. Proverbs 35-6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your path. For example, the LGBT community. There's a lot of Christians that don't understand what's going on. They're being deceived because they're saying, "You got to love me. You got to um I I got to be loved." And but what the LGBT community is saying, you have to bless my sin so I can go to God and say, "Look at how many people we got on our side. We must be right and you're wrong." Sin is sin, my friend. If you lie, that's a sin. A little white lie. By the way, God hates those more than anything else, bar none. He hates that. He hates that more than you being gay. Simple. Listen, you want to live gay, remember, God will let you be. He's going to leave you be. You want to live in sin, that's your choice. You're going to get a knock from the Holy Spirit from time to time asking you to repent. But if you want to live that way, that you you want to lie, you want to live in sin, you want to live in um carnality, sexual immorality, you want to do that, that is your choice. There are consequences to it. You see, when you live in sin, it will kill you slowly but surely. It's like marinating in the oven. Frog doesn't know he's dying when they have him on that heat until it's too late. So, but if you say, you know what, I'm going to go to God first. let me get my life right with God. I'm gonna put aside this sin and I'm gonna choose to live for him. That is what he's asking you to do. And he's trying to train you in that. He trains you on all of this stuff. This is how God works. He trains you and he protects you. He's your father. So, you know what I'm going to tell you right now? There is nothing in this world that you can be afraid of. And he tells you, do not fear. I think like 365 times in the new in the King James version, one for every day of the year. This is how God works. He's here for you. He just wants you to talk to him and he will reason with you. He will explain to you how much he loves you but doesn't love your sin. He will explain to you what carnality and sin is. Paul makes a whole bunch of lists. By the way, he talks about drunkenness. He doesn't talk about smoking. You want to smoke? Hey, have at it. But, you know, they're consequences. That's what he's talking about, though. He says, look at the consequences. You want to die, holy. Romans 6:23, the wages of sin leads to death is death. Wages of sin is death. But the second part of that verse says, the gift of God is life. You want to live a long life. Look at what Jesus did. He honored his father. And you said, "Well, he died at 33. He's eternally alive and he will be alive for the rest of his days in that body that the Lord gave him." He was spirit before that. He's now God in body. And he has all the people that want to live for him and believe in him. He has that. His an entire kingdom. He benefited. He got more than what he had before. and he's telling you, I honored my father. Do the same. And if you go back and you look at Abraham, King David, those are examples. They lived long lives. Why? Because they put God first. They said, you know, I'm going to honor my parents. And they did. You know, David had to wait many years before he became king. Even though he was anointed king early on, he waited. But he was the youngest I think of all his brothers. So he had all these role models to follow. But he went to the Lord and while he watched the sheep, he was talking to the Lord. A man after God's own heart. Oh, great example to follow. And look at this. Proverbs 35. Every word of God is pure. He is a shield to those who put their trust in him. So here's the role model for you to follow. And that is Jesus, the son of God. He put himself out there and he honored his father and he is blessed. Now, I understand you're disappointing your parents. Your parents don't live the way you judge them to live by. So, I'm asking you to put that judgment aside. I'm asking you to pray for them, bless them, and I'm asking you to go to God. Go to Jesus, judge Jesus, and then ask yourself, which role model do you want to follow first? And I promise you, Jesus is going to lead you in the right direction. He, by the way, so I I'm going to put in a couple scriptures here. I want you to see there are all kinds of things that Jesus teaches you, God teach you that are in the word of God in which you can either train your children up in the word of God like this and use it as an example, use it with a real life application, but these are things that you want to be trained in. And if you're 70 years old and you're hearing this message, these are still things you can learn from. Look at this. And you may have already learned from it, but this goes to show you how the word of God is already teaching you. When you're ready, you come into his presence and he will teach you. Look at this. 1 Timothy 6:10. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. What do you put first, Jesus or money? And in Jesus, there's other scriptures say, "Cast all that. Cast it out. Give it to God." I promise you, having the presence of God in your life is better than money. And I promise you, he will provide everything. As he says, uh Jesus says it, "If I can take care of the birds," and he does. They're well taken care of, he will take care of us. See, this is the trust factor. Now, this is where you've got to go into that trust. He teaches you these things. Look what else he teaches you. Look at this. Matthew 16:18 through9. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. He taught Jesus taught the disciples how to build a church. See, he's teaching you these things, but he's bringing you into the fold because he wants to train you up in the right way. You should go. If you want to, by the way, you know, if you choose to get saved but not live for him, hey, who am I to judge you? I'm not. Go live your life. You will be in consequences of the sins that you choose to continue to live in. But I promise you, the Holy Spirit's so nagging you. And you'll be like, "Oh, why are you reminding me of that, Lord?" Nope. I'm going to go do Hey, your choice. But I promise you, once you repent and you get back into it, you will be blessed. You are the And some of you sit here and I hear this all the time. Why do you get why are you so lucky? And I'm not. Well, I live for God. You're not there. That's the reality of the situation. So, let's continue on. He says, "And build the church." Verse 19, "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." He's telling the pastor of the church, you have the authority to bind up the strong men demons so that people can come into the church, hear, see, and believe. Because if you bind the strong man where he can't block the hearing, can't block the seeing, Jesus clearly says you will believe because when you see it, you will believe. That's what he says. Again, he trains you up in how to do that. And it's not just pastors that can do that. By the way, I did that coming here to Missouri. And that's probably why I faced Previous Next Home
- SPIRITUAL ORDER | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
SPIRITUAL ORDER The objective of Spiritual Order is to provide believers with a biblical understanding of how God’s divine order operates in both personal and corporate life. Pastor Marcos Marrero teaches that following spiritual order is essential for aligning with God’s plan, maintaining His power flowing in our lives, and preventing disorder that leads to frustration, lack, and missed purpose. The teaching equips Christians to recognize, embrace, and walk in God’s ordained structure for the individual, family, and church. SPIRITUAL ORDER Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of Spiritual Order is to provide believers with a biblical understanding of how God’s divine order operates in both personal and corporate life. Synopsis: In Spiritual Order, Pastor Marcos emphasizes that many Christians suffer needlessly because they lack knowledge of how God’s spiritual order functions. Using passages such as 2 Thessalonians 3:7 and 1 Corinthians 14:40, he explains that God commands His people to walk in order, as spiritual disorder hinders His divine plan. Pastor Marcos compares the orderly flow of God’s Word to electricity moving through a circuit: it produces power only when the proper pathway is maintained. The teaching identifies three foundational rules: Follow the directions of God’s Word, which provides the map for fulfilling one’s purpose. Believe in God’s divine purpose for your life, acknowledging that each believer was created intentionally for His plan. Submit to the flow of spiritual authority, which begins with God, flows through Christ, and extends to the family and church, all rooted in the Word. Pastor Marcos highlights that spiritual order is not merely individual but also corporate, shaping family structure and the church body. He clarifies that true headship is not about natural dominance but about reflecting Christ’s relationship with His bride, the Church. Disorder arises when people reject God’s Word, neglect their responsibilities, or misunderstand spiritual authority. Through scriptural illustrations such as Isaiah 55:10–11 and Ephesians 3:14–15, Pastor Marcos shows that God’s Word flows like heavenly energy, empowering those who believe and obey. Spiritual order establishes believers in peace, sanctification, and strength, while disorder results in chaos and loss. Ultimately, Spiritual Order calls Christians to repentance, alignment, and perseverance, reminding them that God’s peace and purpose are secured only when life is lived according to His divine order. Inspired Teaching: 2 Thessalonians 3:7 “For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not disorderly among you.” The reality is that today many Christians do not really understand spiritual order, and because of their lack of knowledge in this subject they needlessly suffer lack. The kingdom of heaven is a spiritual kingdom, and those of us who are born of the Spirit of God have been called to navigate within the spiritual order that governs His heavenly kingdom. As anyone who has traveled to an unknown destination knows, if you do not have a good set of directions and a reliable map, and a common understanding of how to read and follow a set of directions, chances are that you will get lost and suffer the loss of time and resources. It is the same as we travel in our spiritual journey, we are traveling to an unknown destination, unknown to us that is, for God knows where He is taking us, but if we do not understand the spiritual order that governs our journey we will not be much help to God in Him getting us there on time. That is why we are commanded that in all things we must follow the path of the spiritual order that God has foreordained. 1 Corinthians 14:40 “Let all things be done decently and in order.” In our opening text Paul tells the Thessalonians that they know how they ought to follow them, because of the order with which he taught them. 2 Thessalonians 3:6 “But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw from every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us.” Notice how Paul said, we command you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, this was not a request, this is how vitally important this matter is, for spiritual disorder will frustrate the plan of God for our lives. The flow of the authority of the Word of God, like electricity traveling through an electrical circuit, follows a clearly defined path that works perfectly as long as the orderly flow is maintained, any deviation causes the flow to trip the switch that immediately shuts off the power. Let me see if I can, with the help of the Holy Spirit, lay out some of the basic rules that govern this spiritual flow so that we can learn how to maintain spiritual order in our lives, and thereby not hinder the plan and purpose that God has ordained for us to fulfill. Isaiah 55:10-11 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” God uses the illustration of how the rain and the snow that melts and waters the earth and accomplishes the purpose for which He sends it, to reveal how the spiritual power of His Word functions. He sends out His Word as a flow of energy and those who partake, that is, come in agreement with His Word and live their lives accordingly, will fulfill the purpose for which they were created through the power that the energy of the Word of God provides them with. So that the number one rule is: Follow the directions that the Word of God provides, that is, if you want to fulfill the purpose for which He created you. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ (the flowing power of the anointed One) who strengthens me.” So that if I believe that my life is not an accident, but that God purposed me to be born and assigned to me His good plan and purpose for me to fulfill through the power that He provides, then that leads me to: Rule number two: I have to believe that God has a divine purpose for my life, and that I am not just here to mow the grass and tend the garden. 2 Thessalonians 2:13 “But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.” It is belief in this truth that brings spiritual order into our personal lives. That is we connect with the energy that flows from heaven above, the Word of God, and it is that energy that empowers us to change course, to turn away from the vanities of this life that perishes, and to aim for the goal of faith which is eternal life with Jesus, to be with Him we must be like Him, and that is what sanctification does, it prepares us for eternity. Spiritual order also functions corporally, as in within the family unit and within the church. So that we also need to understand the path that spiritual order follows corporally so that we can function properly within the family unit and within the church, which is our spiritual family. 1 Corinthians 11:3 “But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.” The above verse can be controversial to those who do not understand the flow of spiritual order. But we need to know that God has set the institution of holy matrimony as the foundation of the family unit, and as a type for the relationship between Jesus and His church. So that if I come with the mindset of natural understanding and say, I am a man therefore I am the head of the woman, I immediately negate the spiritual fact that in Christ, I, as a man, am the bride of Christ also. So that within the natural process, spiritual authority or order, flows from God to Christ, from Christ to man, from man to woman, from woman to children, but from the spiritual perspective all authority and order flows out of the unchanging and uncompromising Word of God, to which all things owe their allegiance to, be it physical or spiritual. So that those who deviate from the natural order, that is, refrain from following in the tenants prescribed by the Word of God, fall into disorder, just as much as those who though in the proper natural position deviate from their responsibilities to the Word of God, and to their own peril fall into disorder themselves. Ephesians 3:14-15 “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven (spiritual order) and earth (physical order) is named.” Paul writes that He is fully committed to the principle of spiritual order by bowing his knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, do you see the progression? But then he adds, to whom the whole family, natural and spiritual belong. We see in the natural how this principle works, when the family unit breaks down everything is prone to disorder, but we also witness that when the family unit, though intact, rejects or ignores the principles in the Word of God, that disorder rules there as well. So that the key is in our understanding how the principle of spiritual order works and all that is at stake, for the results will be either order or disorder. So that our third rule is made obvious by the fact that in spiritual order, God, His Word, and the Holy Spirit are the only One’s who are perfect, and who perfectly agree, and all that follows within that spiritual order must comply fully to the tenants of the Word of God, and if not, their position is nullified immediately and ceded to the next in line that believes and applies the Word of God. 2 Thessalonians 2:15 “Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle.” How do I know if my house is in the proper spiritual order? 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 “Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.” Notice how the order is reversed, Jesus and then the Father, that means that the Lord wants us to look upward to see if we are conforming with God’s plan for us, the plan that was made available to us by our Lord Jesus Christ and the good hope and grace that comforts our hearts, for that is what establishes us to do His good word and works. If there is enmity in your heart against His Word for you or the work that He has called you to do, chances are that you are out of His spiritual order and lack the power to fulfill His calling for your life. Isaiah 30:15 “For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: ‘In returning (repentance) and rest (in His promises) you shall be saved (delivered); in quietness and confidence shall be your strength.’ But you would not.” Would you? It is better to be hot or cold than to be indifferent, if indifference is not what you are dealing with right now, weigh the cost of your salvation, figure out the benefits of spiritual order in your life against the cost of disorder and chaos, which is more profitable to you now? Which is more profitable to you in the age to come? The Bible is full of characters that sold their future inheritance for a morsel of bread, and every single one of them live and died to regret it. I hope that is not you my friend, for I feel as I am writing this, that your weariness is weighing you down somehow. 2 Thessalonians 3:13 “But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.” Do the right thing! 2 Thessalonians 3:16 “Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.” Previous Next Home
- IN HIS PRESENCE | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)
IN HIS PRESENCE To teach believers the importance of intentionally entering into the presence of the Lord, not just during church gatherings but in personal, daily life. The teaching draws from Psalm 16 to show how God’s presence brings joy, protection, renewal, and healing, and emphasizes the power of speaking God’s Word in faith to invite His presence into every circumstance. IN HIS PRESENCE Minister Lisa Kane December 15, 2024 Objective: To teach believers the importance of intentionally entering into the presence of the Lord, not just during church gatherings but in personal, daily life. The teaching draws from Psalm 16 to show how God’s presence brings joy, protection, renewal, and healing, and emphasizes the power of speaking God’s Word in faith to invite His presence into every circumstance. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa Kane shares a heartfelt message on the power and necessity of dwelling in His presence. Beginning with Psalm 16:11, Lisa explains that life in God’s presence is fresh, alive, and filled with fullness of joy. The psalmist demonstrates how to speak to God, to one’s own soul, and to others, acknowledging that true strength comes not from our own goodness but from God’s mercy, grace, and redemption. Lisa emphasizes that entering God’s presence is an intentional act—one that requires stopping, speaking His Word, and putting Him first, regardless of circumstances. She teaches that God’s presence is not limited to church, but is available anywhere: at home, in the car, or in quiet moments of prayer and worship. Through verses in Psalm 16, she highlights how God provides protection, counsel, and stability, holding us together even in seasons of adversity. The message also warns against relying on “other gods”—whether people, doctors, or distractions—reminding believers that faith and trust must be placed solely in the Lord. Lisa explains that healing and renewal flow naturally from being in God’s presence, where sin and its consequences cannot stand. Drawing from both Old and New Testament scriptures, she shows that calling upon the name of the Lord brings salvation, deliverance, and preservation in every situation. Ultimately, In His Presence encourages believers to seek God first, to call on His name, and to delight in Him above all else. The result is joy, peace, strength, and renewal—benefits that far surpass anything the world can offer. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this teaching on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we know that your word shall not return void. We pray that the hearers and the listeners to this teaching will have hearts prepared to receive you to be in your presence and to feel that anointing of who you are as you touch our hearts and our minds. Thank you, Father God. We love you and praise you and uh thank you that your word does not return void. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Okay. Okay. So, the anointing is pretty strong here. So, I'm a little on the emotional side, but we'll get this out. Amen. So, this teaching is called in his presence. So, let's go to our opening scripture here in Psalm 16:11. And we're going to be in Psalm 16 for most of the part of this teaching. Verse 11, thou wilt show me the path of life. The word life means a or another word that you can place in the word of life is alive or fresh. In thy presence or your face is fullness of joy, glee, pleasure, mirth. At thy right hand there are pleasures delightful, sweet for ever more. Well, I'm glad you can join us today here at House of Faith Ministries. Let me show you how I do my teachings. I'm going to present the scripture to you here through the King James version. The bolded words are the words that are in the King James version. But the the translators could have used other words to um express that word if they wanted to. In the case of like word life there is alive or fresh that also just elaborates a little further. So what I'm doing is taking those other words that it could have meant and adding it in because it kind of gives you a bigger picture. Amen. Amen. So, we're going to be talking about in his presence. And there's something about being in the presence of the Lord. And I'm not talking about church. Church is wonderful. I think we need to be at church. Uh we get to um socialize. You you get a second family there. And um you get to pray with one another and you get to um rejoice in praise reports and weep with one another when you're hurting or in pain. Well, here in this teaching in this what I'm talking about in this teaching is in his presence. I'm talking about entering into his presence on your own time. Yeah. Doing it on purpose. I have been teaching for years now about the secret place of the Lord. And in a way, I'm kind of leaning towards that. But as you can see, being in his presence takes purpose. So, we're going to look at what the psalmist says here in Psalm 16 about the purpose of being in his presence and what it does. Now, there are many, many scriptures I can teach on and have taught on about uh being in that secret place with the Lord, but there's something about being in that presence of him. Even when all everything else is going on, you stop and you purposely put him first. Makes a world of difference. Let's go to Psalm 16. We're going to read verses 1 through3. Let's start with verse one. Preserve me, oh God, for in thee do I put my trust. Preserve is hedge about or guard me. And then it says, for in thee do I put my trust. So first I want you to notice uh something. He's talking to God and he's speaking a word. The spoken word is the power that we have in the authority of Jesus Christ. So in the beginning was the word and then if you go down to verse 14 in John chapter 1, you will find out that the word became flesh. Well, in the beginning was the word. Genesis 1 1-4 says, "Let there be light." And there was light and God said saw that it was good. That spoken word is the authority that we have. So this psalmist speaks to his situation. He speaks to God first. Says, "You need to put your hedge around me. You need to guard me. And as I'm fleeing for protection, I'm going to confide in you because that's what that word trust there means." So this is what he's doing. He puts God first. So he's in a circumstance. Whatever it is, it he doesn't say what it is. He's simply saying, "Put your hedge of protection around me and I will trust in you." Okay. Now, verse two, he starts he changes. He He's not talking to God anymore. He's talking to himself. And he says, "Oh my soul, thou has said unto the Lord, thou art my Lord." Now, and thou art my Lord. Again, his soul speaks to God, but he's telling his soul, "I know that you've spoken to God because I know you said, "Thou art my Lord." And when you get to Romans 10:9, it says that if you confess with your mouth, you're speaking a word. says that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, healed, delivered, preserved. We're going to see more of that here at the end of the teaching. So, here he's saying to his soul, "Thou art my Lord." And then he's acknowledging something here. He says, "My goodness extended not to thee." We can be as good as you think you can be. By the way, how you think and what you believe is what makes you strong. So if you think you're strong and you think you're that good and you got the goods, you know, you're the one who's been in the presence of the Lord, you've been doing all this. Uh-uh. Even though this psalmist has been in the presence of the Lord and he's acknowledged that he's spoken to the Lord, he's also acknowledging that his goodness is worthless. that hasn't he hasn't my goodness extended not to thee there's nothing I can do on this earth in the name of goodness that's going to get to God because God doesn't work that way. God works through redemption. God works through forgiveness and mercy and grace. That's how God works. And and he works by faith. He does not work by how hard or how strong you can handle the situation on your own. It doesn't work that way. Now, let's go to verse three. But to the saints that are on earth, now he has shifted. He's talked to God directly. Then he talked to a soul acknowledging that his soul has talked to God directly. Now he's saying, "But to the saints that are on that are in the earth and to the excellent in whom is all my delight." In other words, into the powerful Savior we have, the powerful Lord we have in whom is all my delight, a valuable thing. Now he's saying, look it, look it. He's saying, I am talking to you saints and to God. I want you to see that I have a delight in my Lord. Even though all this is going on, I delight in him and I put him first by acknowledging and speaking that word. And it's so powerful because he's saying this is my this is what I value. This is what's valuable to me. That's where desire desire is. You value it. Do you desire a new car or do you desire God? God himself and his blessings or just God himself sometimes and that's what this teaching is all about is doesn't matter whether we get healed or not. Sometimes just coming into his presence is enough. It's just what I needed. Even uh people who are non-believers or have one foot in the world and one foot in uh the word even they will acknowledge going to a counselor speaking to someone because they get it off their chest. They go into the presence of this counselor. Well, you have the greatest counselor ever, our heavenly father. He is so valuable. We desire him and his presence. And when you do that, things happen. You get it off your chest. This is someone you can confide in. This is someone who you can trust that this is someone you can call and have him place his heads of protection around you. He's got you. And understand when I talk about being in his presence and and we're not talking about being in church. I've already addressed that. We're talking about stopping wherever you are. It can be in your car. So, we're not talking about a physical place. We're talking about a mental place, a place in the mind that we know we can go before our God, that we can trust in him, that we can know that he's got his hedge of protection around us, and that we take our mouth and acknowledge it. Hallelujah. Verse four, their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another God. Remember he's talking to the saints of the earth and he's saying their sorrows which is idols pain wound shall be multiplied that hast another god their drink offerings of blood will I not offer nor take up their names into my lips. Now I want to pause here and I want to address something because this is going to bring to light hopefully the understanding of this entire teaching. Who do you believe? And I've taught on this before. Do you believe the doctor or do you believe God? And he's clearly mentioning this here. I want you to see that anybody who goes after another god is your doctor your god is your music your god is running away your god. Oh, see the moment you don't put God first, you're doing the opposite. You're going after another God. And whatever sorrow, whatever pain, whatever wound, whatever idol you're looking at is going to multiply and it's not going to help you. So if you've been asking God to heal you, do this, do that, but you do it on Sunday service and the rest of the week you you're just a healing that nobody in your world knows that you even believe in a God. Well, then you're sending mixed messages to God. You know, why should he heal you? I just asked that question. Now, keep in mind, he's going to heal whomever he wants and he has healed unbelievers. So, you know, God can do whatever he wants to do. I'm just trying to get you to understand that when Jesus says your faith has made you whole, your your faith made you healed, you can be healed through your faith. It's up to you if you want to stop and spend some time with the Lord. Now, here's the thing is that it doesn't matter if you get healed or not because just being in his presence is the healing that heals your soul. heals your spirit, heals everything inside, helps you change things and turn things around. It gives you the confidence. It re uh reinvigorates you, gives you energy, strength because that's who God is. He's life. So you become alive, fresh in his presence. Verse five, the Lord is a portion of mine inheritance and of my cup. Which that word cup represents the words to hold together. Let me let me see if I can address this in a way there. Sometimes you get to a line and you are barely holding it together and you know that if that line got crossed, you're going to lose everything in your mind. you're going to lose everything that you you you think it's going to just be all lost at this point because you reach that point, that point where your cup breaks because it's no longer being held together. So it says, "The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup that hold he's the one that holds it together. Thou maintainest my lot." You see, still the psalmist is saying, "You're holding me together." That's because he's entering into his presence. The psalmist is talking about being in the presence because he spoke into the Lord. He invoked the Lord's by calling on his name, which we're going to see scripture here in just a moment about that. So, he's saying, "The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup that holds it together." See, God is the one who's going to hold you together. He's the one who's going to keep you from crossing the line. He's the one who's going to show you that that mountain is a molehill, that it's not as big as you think it is, that it is simpler, that life is a joy. Let's continue to see what the psalmist says. Verse six, the lines or your district or the inheritance that that God draws out, that's what this is referring to, are fallen unto me in pleasant places. Yeah, I have a goodly heritage. He's acknowledging life's good for him. So there is now no problem that he was started talking about in verse one. All of a sudden he says, "The Lord has given me my lines, my portions, and they're good." Why? Because he called on the Lord. He's in the presence of the Lord. Have you ever gone into the presence of the Lord and just cried? Man, that's a refreshing thing. I'll tell you what, I I cry a lot. I'm sure you guys are aware of that. And as a result it I mean it just takes it gets comes out of you and you feel really good. You feel very healthy. You feel very strong and you know that God has it. He's taking care of it. So you have a trust that you can rely upon because you went to him and cried it out or you went to him and talked to him about it even just before teaching this. You know, I I'm dealing with a little scheduling issue here with with getting these teachings out and the desire of how much I want to teach you and how much I want to delve into the word of God. And so there I was just crying it out to the Lord, making the inside of me feel vulnerable and having to, you know, address that to the Lord. Yeah, I'm not strong and everything and I'm not holier than that. I make mistakes all the time, but I know who my God is and I choose to be in his presence. It's a choice. It's an action. You have to speak the word and you get into that presence with him. And let me just simply say that there are no describable words for it. But more happens in that moment than any good or a thousand good preachers can preach. You know, don't even, you know, I I know you're you're hearing this message. You're listening, but don't take my word for it. Go try it. Get into the presence of the Lord. Let his Holy Spirit manifest in you and change the way you are on the inside because that's what this is all about. Spending time in his presence. I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel. And that's another thing is that the Lord will give you counsel. Just even reading the word of God here, we're given counsel to come into his presence because we know we're going to get more out of that than we going and seeing a pastor or going and seeing a counselor or going and seeing someone. If you need to be prayed with with someone, go up and be prayed with them. But remember to come into his presence and say, "Lord, I need you. Lord, I I need you." whatever it may be. This is where now you get to come before him. And I love how a lot of the psalmists and David was saying, "Give ear to my word." Call, they're actually tugging on the Lord's ear. Come here. I need you to hear what I'm saying. That's being in the presence of the Lord. Some people think, "No, no, no. That's too holy. I I I'm not worthy to do that. Hey, let me let you in on a little secret." Jesus has redeemed you. And because you're redeemed, God calls you righteous. And he will let you tug on his ear. Hallelujah. You have his attention. Every time you come into his presence, Lord, doesn't matter what. In this case, the psalmist says, "Place your head to protect me, headed your hedge around me to protect me, and then I will trust in you." that's what his need is here in this circumstance. But imagine, Lord, look at my finances. I've got a problem. Or Lord, hey, this doctor is saying something that I disagree with. What can we do to get out of this because I don't want to follow that path. I choose you. And the moment you press in, the moment you're into his presence, the moment you speak your word, things change because that's who God is. He transforms the circumstance and the situation which is what we need. And look at this. So I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel. Talking about what the Lord is doing to him. So he's going to bless him. He says, "But my reigns," by the way that's kidneys or figuratively the mind. It's from the inside. My reigns also instruct me in the adversity seasons or the night seasons. My reigns, we want to do things our way. And when we're in that night season, that dark time, that pain wounded moment when we are in that situation, he is telling us he's going to bless the Lord no matter what. See, he can't sleep at night. Whatever the circumstances, it is bothering him. It is hurting him. And he's saying, "I'm going to bless the Lord. Even with my mind, which is telling me to worry about it, never mind. I'm going to choose to bless the Lord. I'm going to choose to enter his presence. I'm going to choose to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved, healed, delivered, preserved." We're going to see that here shortly. And notice he's making um active decisions in this. He's deciding to do this. Verse eight, I have set the Lord always before me. Always before me. There's moments where we're in full joy, but he's saying, "I love you, Lord. I bless you, Lord. I thank you, Lord." There's moments though that he's he's in a circumstance. Well, Lord, I'm going to call on you anyways because you're my inheritance and I bless your name and I call on your name and I know you are there and I will trust and confide in you. So, he says, "Always before me, because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved or wavered." Meaning, he's going to continue to do that. The devil can't touch him. If you're in a situation where you're dealing with circumstances, a lot of it might be because you're not spending time in the presence of the Lord. But when you get there, he can't even touch you because you're so busy saying, "Lord, I bless you. Lord, I love you. Lord, I give you glory. Lord, I know you got this situation taken care of." That is what we're talking about. This is the type of moment we should be in at all times. Ready for it because life will throw us curve balls. Curveballs. We know that. We've all experienced those things. But God, he intervenes because where is he? I have said the Lord always. He is at my right hand. He's right here holding on to my hand. Amen. I shall not be moved, wavered. And then verse nine, therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoice rejoicth. My flesh also shall rest in hope, a place of refuge because he knows. Give it a little bit more time and the circumstance is going to turn around. You see, prayer works. And when you pray, you speak the spoken word and you're in his presence because you blessing him. you're calling on him, everything turns around for the better. Look at verse 10. For thou will not leave my soul in hell. Hallelujah. Cuz see, the spirit that I just taught on this last week, the spirit that is in me is the same spirit that's in Christ. And that spirit rose Christ from the dead is going to raise me up from the dead as well. And the psalmist knew this. And he hadn't even met Jesus, but he knew who God is, the father. and who that's who he's acknowledging in his presence. He's coming into his presence. For thou wil not leave my soul in hell, neither wil thou suffer appoint thine holy one to see corruption or destruction. You see, God doesn't want to see us destroyed. He doesn't want to see us lose, but he's trying to teach us how to come to him first and how to be in his presence, how to call on his name, how to put him into the circumstance because unbelievers and believers alike all face the same circumstances. How do you face yours? Are you calling on the name of the Lord? Are you spending time in his presence so that you know to call on the name of the Lord? be encouraged as you spend more time in the presence of the Lord, the more you're going to be calling on him. And that's the way it ought to be. Amen. And then coming back to our opening scripture here, thou wil show me the path of life. Oh, see these are the results of pushing in, talking to him, acknowledging to your soul and acknowledging to the Lord that you will bless him and that I'm not going to move because you're at my right hand. Here he's saying, you're going to show me the path of life and in your presence is the fullness of joy. At thy right hand there are pleasures for e forever more. This is what we have gi been given and we ought to call him on it. And by the way, all of us should do that because we all have that right to it. Romans 10:13, for whosoever shall call. See, the psalmist spoke. Jesus spoke. And here Romans is telling us, call, speak, invoke, worship, decide, appeal upon the name of the Lord, and you'll be saved, delivered, protected, healed, preserved. Not just from eternal death and hell, but for eternal life and every situation you face. It's almost like being at a bank and and bank robbers rob uh walking in. Call upon the name of the Lord. He will save you out of that situation immediately. Immediately. Please understand this. This is He's there. He, you know, when Peter saw Jesus walking on the water, I talked about this last week. Peter, you know, said, "If you are the Lord, call me out to you." And and the Lord said, "Come out here." And he did until the moment he realized he he perceived all of a sudden, "I'm doing something I'm not supposed to be doing. I'm walking on water." And he starts to sink. And he says, "Jesus, save me." Call and puts his arm out. And Jesus immediately was right there and saved him. Jesus will save us immediately. You need to invoke him. Worship. Even before I talked to him about this, I was worshiping the Lord. As I was preparing for this, folding my laundry, putting away just worshiping the Lord and just telling him how holy he is because I didn't know what to teach on today. and and I just have to trust in the Lord of what he's going to do. And it is so wonderful because he's showing me and as I was standing there being in his presence, how wonderful. I mean, it it does so much to what's going on on the inside. And he's saving me, delivering me, healing me, preserving me. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I didn't go to the next scripture. Let's go to Psalm 103 and look at the blessings we have here. These are uh the blessings that this psalmist wrote. And he says in verse 10, "He hath not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities." Very important to understand here. You're saved. Don't let the devil tell you otherwise. God doesn't deal with you based on your sin. And that's exactly what he's saying here. He's not rewarding us for that either. He says, "For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him." That is so very important that we understand his mercy. We can come into his presence every single time and be saved every single time. come out of our circumstance and situation every time we can call on his name, invoke his name, declare his name. That's the right we've been given. Go back. Let's go further back into Psalm 103. Let's read verses 2 through5. Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forgot forget not all his benefits. You see, you've been redeemed and you ought to be walking in it, which means being in his presence, which is better than going to a movie, better than going out with friends. Better than this or that. You can go out with friends. There's nothing wrong with that. But make sure that you also put your time in into his presence. Amen. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities. He pardoned us. Who healed health men, all thy diseases. He's healed us. He's healed us from our sicknesses and diseases. Every time you spend time in the Lord, I've been teaching on this for years as well. You sin and the consequence of sin cannot stand in the presence of the Lord. So when you press into his presence, sin has to flee. Which means the consequence of sin has to flee. cancer, sickness, diseases, they're gone. They're healed because he pardoned our iniquities and he healed all of our diseases. Who redeemed us. He bought us back. He bought us life from destruction. He crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies. And he satisfies our mouth with good things so that our youth is renewed like the eagles. I'm 55 years old now. I could use some renewing of the youth like the eagles. I'm going to tell you this is what we ought to do as believers in Christ. Come into his presence. Get these benefits. And if you have to remind yourself, print, type up these scriptures, print them out, put them up on your wall. Every time you see them, you declare it. You speak it because you invoke the name of Jesus. You're reminding your soul. You're reminding your body. You're reminding your flesh. You're reminding your life that he comes first. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word. We pray that we apply your word and that it does not leave our minds and our hearts that we live it and give you the glory, the honor, the praise, and the strength. Thank you, Father God, for be our being our savior, our redeemer, and our healer. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. God bless. Have a great week. I'll see you in the next video. Bye-bye. HOW TO KNOW IF SOMEONE IS LYING TO YOU Minister Lisa Kane October 27, 2024 Objective: The objective of this message is to equip believers with biblical discernment to recognize lies, deception, and manipulation—whether in personal relationships, society, or political leadership—and to stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word. Through the Scriptures, Lisa emphasizes the importance of dwelling in Christ, being guided by the Holy Spirit, and applying truth in everyday decisions, including spiritual, relational, and civic responsibilities. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa Kane explores 1 John 2:21–28 to show how Christians can discern lies by holding fast to the truth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. She explains that denying Christ’s divine identity equates to walking in deception and aligns with an antichrist spirit. The message highlights that lies can manifest in subtle ways—through culture, politics, or even persuasive emotional appeals—and that believers must evaluate actions and fruits, not just words. Lisa applies this principle to contemporary issues, including the upcoming election, abortion debates, and cultural agendas, urging believers to judge truth by God’s Word rather than public opinion or manipulation. She warns against being seduced by deceptive messages and stresses the role of the Holy Spirit in guiding believers into truth. The teaching concludes with a call to abide in Christ, walk boldly in truth, and let the Word overflow in everyday life. By dwelling in the Spirit and acting in faith, Christians can remain confident and unashamed when Christ returns, living as witnesses of His righteousness. Inspired Teaching - Written and/or Transcribed from Video Above: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kaine and I'm recording this teaching on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Welcome. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. Thank you for teaching us how to know if someone's lying to us and how to stand firm on your word to know the word is truth and that that truth will set us free. make us free in you, Father God, and help us to stand strong on your word in the foundation, the firm foundation of the name of Jesus, and that the truth of your word just manifests out of us, Lord. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Welcome. I am so glad you can join us today. I am teaching this on a Sunday. Normally, I don't teach on Sundays, but I'm teaching I'm homeschooling my grandson now. So, we're going to probably do more weekend teachings. Now, keep in mind, House of Faith Ministries is an online ministry. We're not a church. We do not accept tithes. Uh we do not have Bibles to give out or any of that, at least not today at this time. Uh but we do want to minister. And so, we have this online ministry. It's really there as a supplemental from your attendance at church or it's just something if you two o'clock in the morning, you need something, you can go find a lot of content on our website and check it out. Now, I'm going to be teaching today on how to know if someone is lying. So, let's go to our opening scripture here. 1 John 2:21. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Now, John the beloved is the one who wrote the epistles, first, second, and third John. And he's telling us straight up here that he's not writing to us because we don't know the truth. But we know it. Why do we know the truth already? Because the word of God became flesh. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. First John, excuse me, John the Gospel chapter 1:es 1 and two. You can go read that. I didn't I I have very little scriptures today, but you can go read that as I quote them if you need to. But basically, we know that the word of God is the man Jesus who is the son of God and who died for us. That's what we know. And because we know that he is who he is and he's the word, we know that the Bible is truth from cover to cover. So now, how do we know when someone is lying to us? Because we can tell. Now, a lot of there's some people out there who have gifts and they're very intuitive and they can kind of tell and catch on to what's happening. However, we can know when we don't have that intuition or whether that intuition is right or wrong. We can know through the scriptures. So, I want to show you that and I want to show you how you can apply it not just to I mean you can apply it to anything. You can apply it to relationships with your neighbors. You can apply it to like the upcoming election that we have a a new president's about to be voted in November 5th. So, you know, you can apply, you know, are the candidates telling you the truth? Are your, you know, your boss telling you the truth? You can tell. And then, of course, how do you respond? So I want to show you that. So let's go to verses 22 and 23. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? Look at the word deny there means contradict, disavow, reject. I'm g pause here for a minute to catch that. Who is a liar but he that denyth that Jesus is the Christ? You see Jesus, the word of God is the son of God. And guess what? If people come out and say, "Oh, you know, he was a nice guy. He did he did some good. He was a good prophet." They're not acknowledging that he's the son of God. So, watch that slippery slope there. Yes, he is a good guy. Yes, he's a good prophet. However, he is the son of God. And anyone who denies that he is the Christ. The word Christ means Messiah. It means salvation. And if you deny that he's the savior and that he came from heaven, you are in essence not telling the truth. You're lying. You're a liar. And in fact, it says he is Antichrist, which is the opponent of the Messiah that denyth the father and the son. So when you say he's a good prophet, you are antichrist. Sounds like a harsh word, but that is the truth of the matter. That's the situation you have to watch out for these little little slips that people slip in and and sneak in, you know. Um, let's apply this to the upcoming election. Um, the VP was at one of the rallies and two guys yelled out, "Jesus is Christ. Christ is king." And she comment says, "You're at the wrong rally." She is denying that Jesus is the Christ. She is an opponent or an antichrist of the Messiah as you can see that. So, she's going to deny Jesus and she's going to deny the father. So, we already know now one of uh one of the um candidates in our upcoming election is not for God. We automatically know that just from that one action. There's more and we're going to get to that. that I I think is very important that I use this as a great example for a good teaching time right now because we need to know how do you know who to vote for? How do you know if you can support a company? If you're working for that company, yeah, you're getting paid and you got a job. Great. That's absolutely wonderful. However, what if that company is all about abortion or about See, you have to know these things because God is looking at your heart and wondering, are you walking in truth or are you denying him? And if you're denying him or if you claim you are a Christian and you claim that Jesus is the son of God, but then you go and support something as evil as abortion. We're going to get to that in just a moment. I'm just going to use that as an example. you've got a serious problem on your hand because Jesus is all about life, not death. Which means you don't believe in the miracle and the power behind the name of Jesus, the son of the living God. Once you get to know that power though, I'm going tell you things change drastically. Let's continue on. I want you to see this verse 23. Whosoever denyth the son, the same not the father. He that acknowledgeth the son hath the father also. Okay, this is also very important that we understand. We need to understand God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit. They are the trinity. Now the word trinity is not in the bible but the bible does talk about the three of them working together. We know that the father is the one that established everything and his son is the power in which used to establish everything. So Jesus, which was the word in the beginning, who has died on the cross for all the sin of the world, he rose from the grave, he became the son of God as Jesus said in uh John 3:16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. I think John said that, not Jesus. But either way, I'm you're seeing here that the father led the son and asked the son to do this. The son did this and then he rose from the grave leaving us the holy spirit. So now it's hard to tell the difference between Jesus the son and God the father. Why? Because Jesus the son is doing everything his father has asked him to do. So this is where you and I come in because Jesus on his way up to heaven when he was stopped and talked to Mary Magdalene, he's got all these souls. He's just he died on the cross. He's raising from the grave and he stops to talk to Mary Magdalene to say, "Hey, I go to my father, your father, my God, your God." He elevates humankind to be equal with him at that very moment. And when I say humankind, we all have that equality if we become believers in Christ. If you believe in you do not deny that Jesus is the son of God, you're a believer. You believe in the power of ascending. You you believe in the power of being rose from the grave. Meaning the grave doesn't hold us in death. We're alive with him after this. Just like he's alive. And see anyone who denies that, they're antirist. They are against the Messiah. They are against everything. Let's continue on because I like see I I want to see more of what John is talking about. Verse 26. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce or deceive you. See, it sounds so pleasant and it can be or it can be very deceiving, very manipulative. I there's a commercial going on right now here in the state of Missouri and it's a very interesting commercial. It's about abortion. The the young lady in the commercial says, "I was forced to carry my unborn child fullterm knowing that my child had an anomaly and I could not use my baby furniture." That's what she says in the commercial. Now, inside of me, because remember, we're talking about how do you know someone's lying to you? Inside of me, all kinds of red flags went off. warning bells went off. Come on. Sitting there going, "Wait a minute." First of all, you were forced to carry the baby full term. So, this means you knew either at the later part of the first trimester or right in the middle of the second trimester, you knew that your child had an anomaly, was going to die. You still went and bought baby furniture. Oh, but what's more important? the finances that you put to the baby furniture that you can no longer use or not being able to hold your newborn baby. See, they're trying to be manipulative and manipulate your emotions behind it. But you know what? And I also saw a testimony of a very powerful young woman of God and she came out and testified. They told me that my child had this, this, this, and this. And they asked if I wanted an abortion. And she was so outraged. She says, "How dare you rob me of the joy of even the few minutes I would have with my child." Now, her child was born uh and he did die, but she had a little over 30 minutes to hold on to her child, and she cherishes those moments. Another woman testified that they told her that her child would have all these anomalies, and she said, "No, I refuse that." her child was born fine and here that child could have been killed. Has she believed what the doctor said? So be very very careful what you're listening to, which is what this teaching is about. How do you know? They'll tell you, you know, well, a woman has a right over her body. Well, let's pause and let's talk about those rights for a moment. Yes, a woman has a right to not get into bed with a scumbag. That is true. You do not have to get into bed with those idiots who will not be the father that is supposed to be there with that child. And if you're not going to be a mother that you don't want to be, then practice abstinence. It's the perfect birth control. Right? So, this is the thing that we have to be very careful about. They're trying to manipulate us into thinking that, oh, it's okay to abort a child. Listen, in the Old Testament, the Israelites even fell for it. They were deceived. They gave their kids through them after they were born and alive into fire, which would worship the uh demon called Baal. I don't even want to call it a god. There are no other gods. There's only one god. So that's what they did back then is they sacrifice her because every time you go in to have an abortion they have to kill the baby in your womb to remove the baby. Jesus rose from the grave. He is alive and he has conquered death. Which means we know that that is a lie. Abortion is a lie. And I'll tell you this much. I'm going to promise you here and now. No child would have any issue if you believe that Jesus is the son of God and you say, "Lord, I'm giving this child to you and that he covers that child and that child will be born and do everything just fine. Look it. I'm having to homeschool my youngest grandson. He has self-control issues. So, he's very disruptive to a classroom. But you know what? I make the sacrifices I need to give him to the Lord. pray with him, help him uh learn that self-control that he needs. And I don't need any drugs for that or anything. I choose God, which is the word of God. So, these are examples and testimonies that I'm trying to show what can be done when they're lying to you. Let's continue on. Uh they because they they're lying to deceive you. They want you to give them they want your permission to allow them to keep sinning. So that when they face God in judgment, they're going to say stuff like, "Well, they supported me, so we must be right and you're wrong." And that's not going to happen. It's not going to come by me. I promise you that when I'm up there or if it and we're one of the witnesses that are around this judgment for those that are sinning and they're going to go to hell, when they call out, "I was never told or or I I didn't know better." I I get to stand there. If they heard my teaching, I will be able to stand there says, "I taught them the truth. I taught them your word and they denied you anyways." Cuz that's judgment day. That's what's going to happen on judgment day. Let's continue on to verse 27. But the anointing which you have received of him abidth to stay continue dwell in you. And ye need not that any man teach you. Okay, I'm going pause here again. the anointing that you have received the Holy Spirit, the comforter that we have. We have this anointing and it has to stay and dwell within us. How do you keep the anointing inside of you afflimed? How do you keep it passionate? By dwelling in it, you need to get into the scriptures. You need to read it. I have been preaching. I was looking the other day to see how long it's been from 2021. God's dwelling place. That's where I started teaching. And I'm telling you that teaching is still very applicable. It's a very base firm foundation that we can have by coming into the presence of the Holy Spirit and staying there, learning the scriptures, letting that uh change. See, what you put in is what's going to come out. Garbage in, garbage out. pastor I grew up with, he would always say that garbage in, garbage out. So if you put the Holy Spirit in, the Holy Spirit's going to come out of you. This is very important that we are dwelling in what does this say? And ye need not that any man teach you. You don't even have to listen to this teaching. I'm going to tell you right now, I don't have to teach you. I teach you because I'm called to do it. And that is part of my calling with Christ. God can still work in you without you hearing me or without you hearing any pe preachers or teachers anywhere around the world. You can go into the bathroom. You can have a dream at night and the Holy Spirit will be talking in your mind and you will hear and you're going to think of these things. That's how I got out of taking all of the diabetes medicines and all that kind of stuff that I was taking. I could. The Holy Spirit was reminding me of past doctor's conversations, things that were warning bells that I didn't catch then, but I caught now. And that's when I realized, you know what? God is my doctor. I don't need them to tell me what number my body needs to be at. I stopped taking all that because by the time I got to that number, they changed it up so that I stayed in that. And anyways, they were lying. And I finally came to the realization they lied to me about my health cuz they don't even know. They mean well. And by the way, um some of these deceptions that come in, they mean well. The thing is is they just don't know or understand the power of Christ in the in those that believe because they don't believe. So they're considered antichrist. Subtle, but it is there. But as the same anointing teacheth you of all things and is truth and is no lie. And even as they hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. You see, by abiding in him, you're going to know the truth because the truth is the word of God, and the truth will make you free. I didn't bring that scripture in here, but you can go take a look at it. It's in the Gospel of John. He's been talking about Jesus setting us free through truth and knowledge throughout his writings. This is where we stand today. How do you measure? So now, and I I want you to pause and I want you to think about something here. Yes, we have two uh candidates are coming up to become president. You have Camala and you have Trump. And you have to look at both of them through nonbiased eyes. And that right there is the biggest challenge for this election. You have people that are looking at Trump who hate him. They do not like the roughness about him. He's not elegant. He's not tactful. He's not delicate. He's just rough and he is raw. And people just don't like that. But there are people coming to the realization he might be rough around the edges, but he knows how to run a business. And they're coming around and they're seeing. Now, one of the things that Trump is for is he's he's for Israel. He supports Israel. He's also very u giving. He gives everything. All of the four years he was president before, he gave all of his salary as gifts to donations. He donated it all. He doesn't need the money. He's got his own money. So, his salary went. But see, people don't know this. You've got to look at the actions. Try to try to avoid the words that people say. And this is applicable everywhere and around you and through your neighbors, through your your church, your preachers, uh through your your family members even when you are hearing them speak, are they acting on what they're saying? So, first you got to know, are they saying that Jesus is Lord? Are they saying G? Right now, you've got a huge movement that's trying to push through Christianity as the body of Christ, trying to tell you, you don't have to go vote. God's got everything under control. You want to know what I say? Because I disagree with that. I say, why then does God ask us to pray? If God knows everything, and he does, and he wants to do things, but he wants to partner up with you. So, he asks you, I want you to pray. I want you to be able to do this. I want you to be able to go out into the world and I want you to make changes. Faith without works is dead. Which means you got to go out and vote. Partly because he wants you to act on what you believe. Do you believe in life? Trump is for life. He doesn't want abortion at the national level. Let the states deal with it on their own. Which means he's saying, "Let the states handle it." I mean, it's just the reality of it. And that commercial I talked about earlier where she's in the state of Missouri. The state of Missouri does not have abortion. It is not legal here. So, she has to leave the state if she wants to go get an abortion. And she was like, I was forced to raise this child to full term and I couldn't even use my baby furniture. You have other options. Okay? It's not like you couldn't get an abortion. There are many states that will. and it a plane ticket is a couple hundred dollars. Just go do it if that's what you want to do. But remember the consequence of what you're doing. That is against what God stands for, what Jesus stands for. So as a believer in Christ, if you are calling on the name of Jesus and he is the son of God and you're saying he is the son of God, you should not be even seeing that side and you should not even be in support of that site. You should not even be supporting it. So, when you look at the candidates or you look at the amendments um that they're trying to uh propositions that they're trying to pass, when you're looking at your boss, when you're looking at what your company stands for, uh whether it's woke, whether it's the green earth agenda, all of these things are lies. Green earth agenda is a really good one to look at. Jesus says, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word will not." Well, then if heaven and earth is going to die anyways, why do we try to save it? We continue to have to go before the Lord God Almighty and be dwelling in the secret place so we can know the truth. And that truth comes out and we know the difference. Verse 28. And now little children abide, stay, continue, dwell in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence, all outspokeness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. He's coming back. And you're seeing a very distinct difference in the world from 20 years ago to today. It is definitely different because God has made a he's he's drawn a line in the sand. Which side are you on? Are you for life or are you for death? I just taught a teaching on vote life not death just as part of this. This is the one now where you can tell who's lying to you. And we can tell I mean look at what Camala has done. And I'm not being biased. I'm being I'm trying to express the truth by the actions by the fruit. Jesus said we will know them by our fruit. By their fruit. Well, what is her fruit? She can't even think of a thing she would do different than what the last three and a half years. Anyone in California or New York, you ought to be very upset. When gasoline reached almost $6 a gallon, you should be voting the opposite side, not Camala, because they've been lying to you and they're taking your money right in front of you. You're looking at them and you're letting them do it. Grocery bills. Our grocery bills is crazy. We should be voting differently because we can know. We should be speaking out. We should not be ashamed of his coming because he is the son of God and he is returning. And I stand for truth which is the word of God cover to cover. Amen. And if ye know that he is righteous, which is equitable, innocent, holy, just, ye know that everyone that doeth righteousness is born of him. And hallelujah, that is where we stand. So how do you know the truth? You dwell in the word of God. You dwell in the Holy Spirit. He is going to reveal the word to you. For example, not going out and voting. Faith without works is dead. God moves on faith. Your faith is stepping out and voting. You have to be open. You need to be bold. You need to tell people, "I'm voting for Trump and I'm going to go vote for him." Why? Because he loves Israel. And by the way, anyone who loves Israel is blessed. And anyone who hates Israel is cursed. Take a look at what this administration has done. The Biden Harris administration. They say they support Israel and they're there. you. They got their warships, but they're also giving money to Iran and Palestine, Hezbollah, Hamas. They're giving them money, which means they are supporting both. They're playing both sides of the fence. Their actions, their fruit tells us they don't support Israel 100%, which means they only got a partial blessing, which is why we're in the situation we're in today. You can see it. It's a very clear line of knowing what is truth, knowing what is a lie and not being seduced or deceived by it, not letting them let them manipulate us because we know by our dwelling in the Holy Spirit. We know by the Holy Spirit the truth shall set us free. Amen. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word and we bless your word. Let your word abound in us. Let your word just cause our cup to overflow and splatter on everybody around us, Father God, so that we are outspoken. We are bold and confident in speaking the truth of your word that Jesus Christ is the son of God. And I pray that people hear the truth and become believers and repent and call on your name, turn their lives around and continue to live for you in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father God. Amen. Amen. God bless you and I will see you in the next message. Byebye. Home Previous Next
