  • FREEDOM FROM MASONIC CURSES | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

Say this prayer out loud: Father God, creator of heaven and earth, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ your Son. I come as a sinner seeking forgiveness and cleansing from all sins committed against You, and others made in Your image. I honor my earthly father and mother and all my ancestors of flesh and blood, and of the spirit by adoption and godparents, but I utterly turn away from and renounce all their sins. I forgive all my ancestors for the effects of their sins on me and my children. I confess and renounce all of my own sins. I renounce and rebuke Satan and every spiritual power of his affecting me and my family. I renounce and forsake all involvement in Freemasonry or any other lodge or craft by my ancestors and myself. In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce and cut off Witchcraft, the principal spirit behind Freemasonry, and I renounce and cut off Baphomet, the spirit of Antichrist and the spirits of Death, and Deception. I renounce the insecurity, the love of position and power, the love of money, avarice or greed, and the pride which would have led my ancestors into Masonry. I renounce all the fears which held them in Masonry, especially the fears of death, fears of men, and fears of trusting, in the name of Jesus Christ. I renounce every position held in the lodge by any of my ancestors or myself, including "Master," "Worshipful Master," or any other. I renounce the calling of any man "Master," for Jesus Christ is my only Master and Lord, and He forbids anyone else having that title. I renounce the entrapping of others into Masonry, and observing the helplessness of others during the rituals. I renounce the effects of Masonry passed on to me through any female ancestor who felt distrusted and rejected by her husband as he entered and attended any lodge and refused to tell her of his secret activities. I also renounce all obligations, oaths and curses enacted by every female member of my family through any direct membership of all Women's Orders of Freemasonry, the Order of the Eastern Star, or any other Masonic or occultic organization. THE GIFT OF LIFE The objective of this message is to reveal the divine origin and meaning of life as a gift from God, examining how sin altered the natural order of creation and introduced aging, death, and brokenness into the world. It aims to connect the Genesis account with the New Testament teaching on eternal life through Christ, encouraging believers to repent, walk with God, and embrace His gift of life both now and in eternity. < Back THE GIFT OF LIFE Minister Lisa Kane June 26, 2022 Objective: The objective of this message is to reveal the divine origin and meaning of life as a gift from God, examining how sin altered the natural order of creation and introduced aging, death, and brokenness into the world. It aims to connect the Genesis account with the New Testament teaching on eternal life through Christ, encouraging believers to repent, walk with God, and embrace His gift of life both now and in eternity. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa Kane explores the biblical truth that life itself is God’s gift, rooted in His original creation. Opening with Romans 6:23, she contrasts the wages of sin—death—with God’s gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Drawing from Genesis, Lisa explains how the patriarchs experienced longevity before sin corrupted creation, noting that aging began only after the fall when Adam and Eve disobeyed God. She walks through the progression of sin in humanity: the disobedience of Eve, Cain’s murder of Abel, and Lamech’s violence, showing how sin accelerated corruption in the earth. Historical events such as the flood, the Tower of Babel, and the division of the continents are tied to the destructive weight of sin. Yet, amid judgment, God preserved the righteous, such as Noah, as examples of His sustaining gift of life. Lisa emphasizes that while sin shortens lifespans and accelerates aging, repentance and relationship with God bring renewal, blessing, and spiritual vitality. She draws parallels to today’s society, pointing out the moral decay that mirrors the wickedness of ancient times. The message culminates with the hope of eternal life through Christ (John 3:15–17), reminding listeners that true life is only found in Him. Ultimately, “The Gift of Life” calls believers to turn away from sin, embrace God’s righteousness, and live with the eternal perspective of salvation, knowing that Jesus has redeemed humanity from the curse of death. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane and I'm recording this on Sunday, June 26, 2022. This message is called the gift of life. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this message and we thank you for your blessing on it. Let us receive, apply it to our lives, believe it, walk it, live it, and share it with others. Father God, we thank you. We thank you for your word, your nourishment for us. spiritually. We thank you in the glorious name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Let's open up in our opening scripture here. We're going to be looking at Romans 6:23. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Okay. So, I'm going to be talking about aging today, which is kind of an unusual topic, but I've done a lot of in-depth studies and teachings on Genesis. I did a a study on evolution. You can go look at my past messages on there showing you proof that Genesis is real. And this is a factual text, uh, a historical factual text. This is not storyland. These are not stories. These are real events that took place. So, I'm going to address the aging of the patriarchs during the Genesis time and why sin plays a role in it and why we age differently today than we did back then. So, it's going to be one of those interesting messages here that we're going to be talking about. So, as you can see here, Paul is the one that really kind of puts it together in the New Testament when he says the wages of sin is death. What is sin? Sin is dying. So, let's take a look at what happened in Genesis and what caused us to start aging. Okay? Uh because I'm going to show you when it wasn't aging and then I'm going to show you when it started aging and what happened. And I do apologize, you're going to hear my fans and air conditioner running. Uh it is currently 99 degrees here. I live in the desert here in Southern California. And uh the high I think it's supposed to be 104, but if it's 99 right now and it's 11:41, I guess it's going to be a little hotter, but no problem. So, sorry for the sound quality, but that's the way it's going to be today. So, let's go to our next scripture here in Genesis. So, in Genesis 2:19-20, we're going to see something very interesting here. Out of the ground, the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam, there was not found a helper comparable to him. Okay? So it's a very interesting scripture. Now, keep in mind, I've already done an in-depth study on Genesis, chapters 1, 2, 3, and four. You're more than welcome to go check all that out. So chapter one is a planning phase. It's like creating the blueprints for the world. So in in essence, you can look at it as God assembling all the materials that he needs for the world that he was making. So in essence, he's in his workshop. He's got his workbench. He's got a bowl here filled with water. That's going to be the ocean. A bowl here filled with earth. That's going to be the earth. So it's a planning phase. And when you read Genesis 2:1, you'll see the application in movement like the earth is now operating and and in motion and God is putting in all the elements as it functions more very clear when you look at it from that perspective. That's what Genesis 1 and 2 is talking about. So here and in Genesis 1, you know, he talks about forming man out of earth uh and forming warm man in his image. So you hear him talk about that, but you don't see him applied yet. So here in chapter 2, he's applied, but notice Eve is not there because God talks about he needs a helper comparable to him. So let's go look at that that last part of the scripture there. But for Adam, there was not found a helper comparable to him. So Eve is not in the picture yet. So Adam is naming all these animals. Adam and God are bonding. They're having they're relating to one another. They're getting to know one another. God is getting to know his beloved because this is his offspring. In his image were made. And that is incredible because you know God did something. You guys have no idea. You got to really think this through. We are such a complex being that um we can't create that out of anything else we try. Look at my study on evolution. You will see that we cannot do that. So we have offspring and then the gift of life, the breath of life goes into the newborn and then becomes a person in his image. So this is it's very interesting how God created all of this. Okay. So, but there's something interesting here. There's a mystery here. So, he's naming all these animals. Now, you have to understand that every animal that God has ever created was alive at this time. There was no death because there's no sin. Remember, the wages of sin is death. Nobody's died. No animal has died. There's a interesting mystery here. So, Adam being the only human being on the planet in his little world here, God is bringing all these animals. How long did it take Adam to name all the animals when every one of them existed? Now, granted, he's only naming, let's see here, um the beast of the field and the bird of the air, all the cattle and uh so birds, cattle, beast of the field. So that's basically what he was naming. But you're talking dinosaurs, you're talking dogs, cows, horses, zebras, you know, or maybe a zebra came later because it is kind of in the horse kind, if you will. So he's naming kinds. And a kind is its own species, if you will. So he doesn't name poodles and German shepherds. He names a dog. So male and female dog, male and female elephant, male and female giraffe. These are all animals in their own kind. So, there's a lot of them, just not as many as you think. But how long do you think it took him to do that? Days, weeks, months, years, and sin hasn't happened. The sun goes up, the sun comes down. In fact, it doesn't even mention that Adam sleeps. Did he need to sleep? You got to wonder about how the world was then. So, you're looking at this and you're thinking, "Okay, uh, he named him. Don't know how long that took." So, he's not aging because there's no sin in the land. So, if you know, one way to think of it is when the morning came and if Adam did go to sleep and he woke up, he woke up the same person he was the day before. He did not age. He did not uh grow. He is the same the yesterday, that day, and the next day until sin came. Interesting concept, right? So, let's look at what happened when sin came because you're now seeing the earth wasn't aging. You're seeing animals weren't dying. You know that there is no rain on the earth because when we talk about the flood, you're going to see that there was no rain at that time up until the flood. So this is fascinating. The world then was different. God made the world perfect, whole, complete. This is the place for us to be and where we want to be today really. But we live in sin now. And sin changed everything. So let's look at what happened when sin entered the world. So, we're now in Genesis 3:es 4-5. Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." The devil lied to Eve. Okay, I'm not going to give you every scripture here. I want you to go and study it for yourself. Look at what happened here. Look at the scene between Adam and Eve and what happened when the serpent came in. So God placed Eve in the garden and then God left. He gave them time for their little honeymoon. So the serpent comes along and he's standing there by that tree of knowledge that God told him not to eat of. And he's convincing Eve, you're not going to die. you're going to be like God. And she's tempted. Now, I want you to realize something. Adam is sitting right next to her. So, she takes the fruit. She takes a bite. He hands it to him. He takes a bite, too. Now, I want you to think about this for a moment because when you really think this through, there is some powerful elements going on here. What if Adam in his conversations with God while naming the animals knew what was going to happen? I would imagine that Adam had a lot of questions. We're curious creatures. We want to know what's going on. So when Eve did that, Adam was in La La Land. He's in his honeymoon. He's as happy as a clam. He's probably not thinking thoroughly through. But when she goes to grab the fruit, either he didn't react fast enough to tell her, "No, no, no, don't do it." Or the fact that he didn't say anything, wonder, I have to wonder. Did already God tell him what was going to happen? And he let it happen. And he could have, he had a choice not to take that bite, but she's his wife. They were a whole the two together. They're not uh they're a half now because they're married. So he's half, she's half, and that's the way that works. So he took that by two. But I want you to see when you go look at those curses because they were cursed. The serpent was cursed, the e Eve was cursed, woman was cursed, and then the earth was cursed, not Adam. Adam didn't sin. You got to understand that. So this is very very interesting because now all of a sudden things look a little bit different when you look at this transaction that takes place. Now something did happen you know and if you take a look at some scientists today and ancient aliens even they are acknowledging this is that they think it's an evolution and that somewhere along the lines something came along and changed the concept of mankind from you know being cavemen to today but it this change did take place. Eve and Adam knew they were naked. They knew. So they actually had a change, a physical change in the mental sense. They became aware that they are naked beings and that they sinned and they have shame. Now this was a concept that didn't come in until that very very moment. Now the devil did lie because he said you won't die. Well hold on a second. Let's look at the physical evidence here. Remember this is factual historical evidence. Genesis 5:5. So all the days that Adam lived were 930 years and he died. Wait a second. Okay. So he did die. Eve eventually died too. I It doesn't document her age when she died. So he lived 930 years. That's a long time. He didn't sin. He wasn't living in sin. But the moment they took that fruit and they ate of it, that was day one. and sin aging began. But prior to that moment, there was no aging on the earth. Okay. Now, I want to show you the first document. Well, the second document of sin. Eve is the first document. Here's the second document of sin in Genesis. Watch this. Genesis 4:8. Now Cain talked with Abel his brother and it came to pass when they were in the field that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. Now you can go again read the story the event. It's not a story the event in total to see what was going on between Cain and Abel. Cain got pretty jealous and bitter because God rejected his offering and he accepted Cain's and so he got mad at him and he killed him and he let it bubble up. Well, that's sin number two documented in Genesis. Now, that's very interesting because what's going on here is if Adam lives 930 years and now the earth is starting to get populated, death comes in the picture quicker. We've got a murder that takes place. Now, let's continue on. Now all the patriarchs that lived during that time 10 generations they lived 800 900 plus years and these are not um uh uh these are true years 365 days a year. This is not uh an analogy. This is these are actual years. The the root word in Genesis applies this as a year. So please understand again this is factual evidence and sin changed the element of our aging. This is why evolution can't happen. This is another reason why evolution can't happen. They they're still looking at it as we've just evolved. No, no, no. There was an actual change in mankind that took place and it happened at the moment that Adam and Eve partake of the fruit that they weren't supposed to. So let's go look at the next documented sin again. Here we are at another murder. Genesis 4:23. Then Lamech said to his wives, Ada Azilla, hear my voice. Wives of Lamech, listen to my speech for I've killed a man for wounding me, even a young man for hurting me. Now he he's acknowledging he killed this guy and it sounds like he did it out of revenge for hurting him and not giving forgiveness. So you've got another documented sin here. Now the world is populating. So you've got murder taking place. So animals have got to be dying in this time frame because God had killed an animal to clothe Adam and Eve. So now they're killing animals to eat. So they're eating of the earth and they're eating of the meat. So this is now the new earth that is in play and things are happening rapidly. Eve is having children and as she's having children, her great great grandchildren are having children at the same time she's having children. So, who knows how many kids she ended up having because it does not document it. But it had to be a lot boys and girls and then they started mating as they became adults. 930 years is a long time. So, just talking from Adam's age perspective. So, up to the flood, you're talking about 1500 years. So this is very very interesting that you're seeing something here totally different of the way the world was at that time because now God says something different. Okay? So you've got the documented sin of Eve, the documented sin of Cain, and the documented sin of Lamech. But the world is populating. Look what God says next about sin. Genesis 6:5. Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every intent of his of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Oh now if you really want to know what this is implying and this is actually fascinating what he says here is uh the book of Jasher and the book of Enoch and it could be just one or the other and I'm don't remember off the top of my head but you can go look those up. They may not be part of the Bible, but they have historical records that align with the Bible. So, they're very good information to have. Uh, but they talk about the neighborhood and what it was like. And people were living in such a way that they were trying to well, people didn't sleep or did very little sleep because they were guarding their home because they knew their neighbor was after their goods or even their lives. So, it was a, you know, I got to protect myself because I know that neighbor is creepy and he's coming after me if I let my guard down. That's the idea of how that was. Uh, and of course, it was also the idea of what can I make myself feel good with? Well, if I kill you, I'll feel good. it. So that mentality was going on. And you can see that mentality creeping into society today. I mean, look at what the the women who are protesting about having a pro-choice. They're walking around with blood between their legs and baby dolls between their legs and hitting them. And it's like, you just murdered a baby. And in their mind, no, I have the right to do that. And it's like, whoa, whoa. You don't have the right to murder someone. You have the right to not get into bed with unprotected sex, but you don't have the right to murder a baby. It's got blood. The blood of life. You can't live without blood flowing through your veins. And this is why they're showing you the blood all over themselves. We want to remove that life. That's the mentality. That's the demonic activity behind all of this. So, you've got this concept that comes into the time of Noah and the flood. Now, we all know in science that they did prove the flood took place. So, let's look at what the Bible says about the flood because I really want to apply some scriptures here about it. So, I don't want you just to assume what the story is. At the same time, I do want you to go look at the scriptures and learn of them and study them for yourselves because you'll get more out of it from when you read it. versus somebody interpreting it for you. Amen. Genesis 7:10 through11. It came to pass after seven days that the waters of the flood of of the flood were on the earth. In the 600th year of Noah's life, the patriarchs were living long lives. There was now Noah like Lot was living in a time where there was sin around him, but he was not sinning. He was considered a righteous man is what God called him. And notice he's already 600 years old when the flood is coming. So here in the 600 year of Noah's life in the second month, the 17th day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up and the windows of heaven were open and the rain was on the earth 40 days and 40 nights. Now I want you to see something here. That is what this message is all about. every person living in sin and the righteous that were not going to make it through the flood which was Methuselah. He was the last uh patriarch and righteous man there. He died. His name actually meant that when he died this flood was coming that um all of them had their lives shortened because they lived in sin. They did not have the right to live past the 600, 700, 800, 900 year because they lived in sin. Oh, sin and aging are they go hand in hand. And so now I want you to see how long Noah actually lived. And this was even after the flood. Again, though, they're repopulating the earth. So there's not a lot of people. They are sinning. We're going to get to that in a minute. And you're going to see the dynamics change here. and shift because God had to make some big changes at this moment. But look how long Noah lived. Says here in Genesis 9:29, so all the days of Noah were 950 years and he died. He outlived Adam and he went through the flood. Oh hallelujah. So God takes righteous people and he will let you live. You have the blessing of life to live. Amen. That is the gift of life from God. God is the gift of life. And when you spend time with God, you have life. Oh, this message is awesome. And I really want you to grab it. Now, again, I'm not going to go into all the scriptures after the flood, but you can go and look at this. Genesis, the book of Jasher, the book of Jasher and Genesis are very similar books. Um, Jasher goes into a little more detail. You'll find out about Abraham as a young man where you don't see that in Genesis. So, it's very interesting how Abraham discovers who God is. It's a really fascinating story. You might want to get in there and take it out. Take a look at it. So, what happens is after the flood takes place, Noah and his family repopulate the earth. So, children are having children, they're marrying, they're having children. So, uh Noah's sons are having children and then their children children are all marrying. And anyways, so about the fourth, third to fifth generation, somewhere's right around there was a guy named Nimrod. And uh now God had told mankind, go populate the earth, be fruitful and multiply. So go out. That's what he told them to do. They stayed. And not only did they stay, they followed this guy Nimrod and decided to build a tower because Nimrod had it in his mind. I'm going to get as tall as God so I can kick his butt. I'm going tell you right now, I don't know what this man was thinking, but it he was way off the mark because God's looking going, "Yeah, really? You're gonna do that? Go for it. Let's see how far you get." So something happens here because I I want you to understand something. So God destroys the earth. He didn't end mankind. He let Noah and his family survive knowing full well what mankind was going to do again. They've already done it once. They're going to do it again. But you know what God was thinking? And I'm pretty confident of this. may not be biblical scripture, but I'm pretty confident of this. He knew that Lisa and any other righteous person living today was going to call on him and believe. He already said though scripturally that he was going to send his son to redeem us. He already had that in the plan. He knew what he was doing. He was going into that plan. So Jesus was coming. So he allowed this to happen and he allowed it to continue on because he knew about those of us still who hadn't been born yet who would believe. And he says they're going to love me and I want to give them that chance. Incredible. I just love the Lord so much. So the tower of babel takes place a great earthquake happens at this time and the tower of babel and the earthquake are documented in Genesis. You will see uh there's more information in the book of Jasher but look at this very interesting scripture and I got to show this to you because I want you to understand how the world was then and how it is now. which is why science is struggling with this. Okay, so look at this interesting scripture out of the blue. Genesis 10:25. To Eber were born two sons. The name of one was Palele. For in his days the earth was divided and his brother's name was Jckton. In his days the earth was divided. Wait, all the continents weren't all one or weren't separate pieces? That's interesting. So basically what he's saying here is that after the Tower of Babel and that earthquake takes place, this kid pale is born and by the way that's a root root word and it means shaking and rushing of water coming up. Okay. So basically when this great earthquake happened, by the way, Nimrod documents the statement at that time because he survived the earthquake and he said, "Oh, God saved me from my enemies." I hope he called on God to believe at the end, but I don't think he did. But anyways, whatever the case was, this guy survives. He documents that the earth did have a great shaking at this time and that's when the continents pulled apart. So let's understand what happened here. Sin sin caused the flood. You know God brought in the flood. Now God made the earth perfect. So all the earth was one piece of land. And you know what? Most scientists actually agree with that. They just think it was billions of years ago. But they all agree that Panga, which is all the contents put together, all existed as one in the past. And that is actually a true statement. They did exist as one. It's when Paleleg was born, when that great earthquake happened, that's when they broke. And this was after the flood. And this was after the Tower of Babel. So, and in fact, they have this also documented. This is where all the cultures came into be because when the Tower of Babel was broken, language was broken. And so you had all these people split apart. So you had Asians over here, Hispanics over here, Indians over here, uh, Europeans over here. So you had all of these different cultures. And when the land broke apart, those cultures were on their own piece of land. And now all of a sudden, you've got cultures in existence, different culture, and they all came into existence at the same time. And in fact, they all talk about the flood, every single one of them. And they all talk about eight people surviving. It's a a factual event that took place and it's because of sin. So sin when the water God broke the fountains of the deep and they became weak. So when mankind started sinning again and going building this tower following this guy and not spreading out and populating the earth being fruitful multiplying no instead God says okay this is weak. I'm going to break I'm going to cause a shaking. And he shook the ground and it was the weight of sin that broke it further. And and if you take a look, you drive through a mountain, look at the mountains and how everything it's broken. Everything is broken. I mean, it's beautiful. We live in it today. We live in this brokenness. And in fact that's when age started slowing uh excuse me increasing in speed meaning they got they died at a younger age. So this is when all of this change took place because now sin is prominent in the world. It is a major factor in the world. People are living in sin and they're born in it and they just go with it. And it took the redemption of Jesus Christ to come to change that and to give us the element of that. So now and in fact just kind of show you how God is still talking about this. This is very very important. I want you to understand you do not have the gift of life if you're living in sin. He will end your life prematurely. Look what he did here to Sodom and Gomorrah. Genesis 19:24-25. Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah from the Lord out of the heavens. And so he overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground. He said, "You're going to live in sin. This is what I'm going to do to you." And sin is pleasurable. You know, people get hooked up to, but you got to break free from it and make a stand and say, "God, I choose you." And and I will tell you right now, you keep looking back at sin, you got a problem. Lot's wife here, go back, read these scriptures. She she desired it so much and was missing it that, you know, she turned into a pillar of salt. She just dried up. How many people do you look at today that are dried up, been on drugs, had a rough life really, and they could be 50 years old, but they look like they're 70. I'm telling you, sin and age go right hand in hand. And if you there is no magical bottle of illusion that you can take that's going to help you look younger or feel younger on the inside. You know, you've got to repent and you got to spend time with God because when you spend time with God, there's no sin there and that means the aging slows. We're still living in an earth surrounded by sin. Lot didn't live that long either, but you know, he was able to live past the destruction of those two cities. In fact, God refused to destroy those two cities until Lot was removed. And read the conversation that God had with Abraham. Abraham's like, "Is it 50 people, 30 people, 20 righteous people living in the city? Would you destroy it?" He said, "No, all the way to 10 people." Meaning, there was less than 10 people in the city that was righteous. And the less than 10, God says, "I'm taking you out." Which was Lot, his wife, and two daughters. And uh the wife didn't make it. So sin is what does this to you? What destroys things? Our government looks like they're trying to destroy the it's sin. They're living in sin. They're accepting sin. Those that approach choice are accepting sin. When living as a homosexual is sin because God calls it, you're not being fruitful and multiply. You cannot be fruitful man on man or woman on woman. So, you're sinning. Lying is sinning. Murder is sinning. You want to sin? Hey, go for it. I'm just telling you, your life will be cut short. That's one of the consequences. And two, not only will you be aging faster, but you're missing out on the blessings that God has for you here and now. And just because we have eternity with him, your eternity can begin now. And no matter what hell is going on out here, you're still at peace and have a joy within you. And you get to look young and free. And people people come up to me all the time and say, "I can't believe you have grandchildren." Yeah, I have grandchildren. Yes, I do. I I I'm grateful that I look as young as I am, but I know that I'm aging. I know I live in sin, but I repented because Jesus came back and did something for us. Look at this. John 3:15 through17. that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but that through the world through him might be saved. He wants to save you on top of it all. He wants to save you. And you know, I I want you guys to realize that we're coming into a very serious time or well, we're in a serious time. Uh Matthew 24, Luke 21, Mark 13 are being fulfilled right in front of us. And it does talk about this generation shall not pass away. So interesting enough how this is fulfilling. Now we are on the tail end of things. So, Genesis is the beginning. It's what started it. And all of this time, we've been living in sin because that's how things change. That's how things were moved. So, now something is getting revealed. And I want you to see what's coming because you've got to be able to repent and know that you're repenting for something that's better. Okay? And we don't have better here on this earth because this earth is sin. Okay? Understand that. Look at what Paul says here in 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12. And then the lawless lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will consume with the breath of his mouth and destroy with the brightness of his coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan with all power signs and lying wonders and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish because they did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion that they should believe the lie that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but have pleasure in unrighteousness. That's what's happening now. People have this delusion. Talking about women with pro-choice. They have a delusion. Look at this. He says, "With all unrighteous deception among those who perish, you are dying with unrighteousness." And as long as you're doing that, you did not receive the love of the truth that you might be saved. When you reject Jesus, you reject God, you live in unrighteousness, you live in sin, your life is cut short. You do not have the gift of life which is God. God is the gift of life. Very first scripture that I read. Understand what's happening here. And if you take a look at that scripture, go back to the beginning part of it. He says, "Look what the the Lord's going to do to this uh individual here. Look at this. This lawless one. He's going to consume with the breath of his mouth and destroy with the brightness of his coming. This guy's destined for destruction. Don't follow him. You need to repent. You need to repent. Remember what Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. You have to repent. And I'm telling you, if you really want to look younger, so even though we don't live the lifespans of what it was like prior to sin being a a dominant element here in the earth today, we still can look young in our age. Amen. And that means spending time with God. That means repenting. That means giving him the glory, living for him. And I'm going to tell you right now, eternity with God is what you want. You do not want to be left here during this strong after this strong delusion is gone that you know this generation is not going to pass away. God takes people. Look at all my previous messages. He did the rapture. He's he took Enoch. He took Elijah. He's going to take the righteous next. That's what's coming. So all this stuff is being fulfilled and that's what's coming. And then you don't want to be left here. being left here is I'll give you just a sample. The first five months you cannot die and there's going to be these horselike scorpion things coming to sting you and you're thinking God is a loving God. When you reject him, he's he's got feelings. He got rejected. So, he's trying to get your attention to wake you up. You're going to be stuck here going through that pain and suffering and then you're going to have to die for him. That's even worse. go in the rapture. It's just so much easier, better. But you got to be righteous. That means you got to repent and you got to live for God. Romans 10:9, confess. Go to God. And if you're angry with him, you know what? It's okay to be angry with God. You know, he's a big guy. He can't handle it. But go to him and talk to him about it. Tell him you're upset. Tell him you, you know, love should be love. Love is love. God. Let him talk to you back though. You need to open up the Bible and find out what he says and get an understanding of it so that your heart and mind lines up with God and you have the established blessings and promises that are written in the word of God. The rapture being one of them. Amen. All right, let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we bless this message and we thank you for your blessing on it. We thank you for the revelation Previous Next Home

MINGLED WITH THE UNCLEAN Call the church to reject spiritual contamination and syncretistic traditions, embrace its “twice-called-out” identity (ecclesia), realign with the biblical foundation (apostles, prophets, teachers), and enter corporate repentance to close demonic doors, intercede for the land and children, and welcome the Holy Spirit’s guidance and power. < Back MINGLED WITH THE UNCLEAN Pastor Marcos Marrero May 27, 2005 Objective: Call the church to reject spiritual contamination and syncretistic traditions, embrace its “twice-called-out” identity (ecclesia), realign with the biblical foundation (apostles, prophets, teachers), and enter corporate repentance to close demonic doors, intercede for the land and children, and welcome the Holy Spirit’s guidance and power. Synopsis: The message opens with a congregational prayer inviting Jesus’ lordship and freedom, then sets the theme from Psalm 106:34–39: Israel’s failure to purge idolatry led to mingling with the unclean and generational defilement. Applying this to today, the speaker explains that although believers are called out of “Egypt,” God must also remove Egypt from within us—fear, traditions, and compromises that tilt the church’s “wall” off-plumb. Citing Hosea 4:6 and Isaiah 1, the sermon warns that ignorance and inherited ritual can make worship empty and endanger future generations. From Revelation 17–18, it frames “Babylon” as a hidden religious system that spreads confusion and blood-guilt, urging God’s people to “come out of her” by rejecting contaminated practices and idols that gain access to families and communities. The church is exhorted to return to God’s order (1 Cor. 12:28)—apostles confronting strongholds, prophets declaring God’s word, teachers grounding believers—so that miracles and healings can follow. The service culminates in a corporate repentance and renunciation prayer: washing hands in Jesus’ blood, breaking agreements with demonic influences, closing spiritual doors, and submitting anew to the Holy Spirit to walk in purity, authority, and truth. Inspired Teaching: Let us all stand up for a second. Let's just agree in prayer. Okay? Praise God. Want everybody repeat with me. Including the young guys, the young girls, everybody stand up. Repeat with me. Say, I love Jesus. I love Jesus. Because he first loved me. Because he first. Come Lord Jesus now. Come Lord Jesus. And set me free. Set me free. Amen. Amen. Sit down. Praise God. You just gave permission to the Lord to come into your heart and to uh begin the healing and the freedom that that we need. Praise the Lord. Father, we give you thanks right now for ears to hear, Father God, for a heart to understand. I take authority right now, Father God, over every spirit of confusion, over every mind blocking spirit, Father God, over every religious spirit. And father, in the name of Jesus, I declare forth a word according to Ephesians 3:10 to make known to the principalities and power the manifold wisdom of the spirit of the living God. And Father, we declare this place right now to be under the direction of the Holy Spirit as we submit ourselves, Father God, uh with ears to hear and with a heart to understand, to receive what the Holy Spirit will say unto this church tonight, Father God. And we give you glory for binding down, Father God, and arresting every spirit that would come to interfere with the work of the Holy Spirit here tonight. In Jesus name, we give you glory, Lord. Amen. Amen. Praise God. Let's go to Psalm 106 verse 34-39. We're going to be talking about tonight about mingle with mingled with the unclean. And then we're going to be dealing with the uh condition of the church. And as you know, we are the church. We are the believers. And uh you remember that when God brought Israel out of Egypt, even though they were not under Pharaoh's control anymore because the Egyptian army was drowned on the sea, still Egypt was inside of them. When they came to the door of the promised land, they couldn't cross because they still live under fear and under bondage. And it took 40 years of cleansing before a new generation who did not have a slave mentality was able to rise up and come in into the promised land. So the church, the word for church, when you know the Bible says we're the church because we're the temple of the Holy Spirit. The word church in Greek is the word ecclesia. That's where we get the word ecclesiastic or ecclesia and the literal translation mean twice called out. It's important that we understand that the church means you're being twice called out. First you're called out of the world and then you're called into your promises. Just the fact that God calls you out of Egypt doesn't mean that you immediately go into your promises. You have to overcome fear. You have to overcome temptation. You have to overcome tradition. You have to overcome all of the things that are within you. When God gets you out of the world, he has to get the world out of you so you can inherit your promises. So that's what I want to deal with tonight. We want to deal with with what is keeping us, the church, the twice called out from entering into the promises of God. And in Psalm 106 verse 34, it says, "They," speaking about the children of Israel when they were brought into the promised land, "they did not destroy the peoples concerning whom the Lord had commanded them. But they mingled with the Gentiles and learned their works. They served their idols, which became a snare to them. They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons and shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. And the land was polluted with blood. Thus they were defiled by their own works and played the harlot by their own deeds. Now that is a very strong uh uh indictment that God gives to the children of Israel. Now how does that apply to us today? Remember Paul said that everything that happened in the Old Testament was written as examples for us. You know we we're playing history repeats itself. It's just like a cycle. Everything keeps playing over. So when they did not destroy the peoples, some people have a problem with God killing men and women and all people and killing children and stuff like that. You have to realize that God is a very merciful and patient God. But God is also all knowing. And when it comes to time that there's no hope for something, God deals with it. And we need to understand that when Abraham came out, God says, "I'm going to send your descendants into Egypt because the sins of the Amorites have not reached their peak yet." Meaning the people that live in the land of Canaan, there was still hope for them. So God would not wipe them out of the land for 400 years so that they would have hope. Now, when the children of Israel are coming into the land, God, a merciful, loving God, gives them a command. The command is, I want you to destroy the old people, the young people, the children, the men, the woman, their cattle. I want you to destroy everything. Now, why would God do that? How can a loving God order such a commandment? Okay, let's say that all of us here are in a boat. Okay? And that brother Rick here has an infectious disease that's going to kill him, but before it kills him, it'll kill everybody else. And we're in a boat and we can't get out. Rod already mot. We love him, brother. We love you. You're we have compassion. But guess what? You know what the definition of agape love is? Herb Wel used to say this all the time. Agape love means doing what is best for everybody involved. The definition of true love is when the actions that you take will do will have the the the most blessing or power for everybody involved. So here we have a nation that is totally and completely polluted with demons. Their men, their women, their children, their animals, their cattle, everything. And God says, "I'm bringing you into a land. And when you come to the land, you have to destroy everything that's living to get rid of all of the demons so that you can't come in." So here they come into the land. Oh well, you know what kind of a God will say, "Let's get rid of the man here that is going to kill the whole." Three generations later, they were all infected with the same demons, with the same pollution because they mingle with the people. They began to learn their traditions. And before they knew it, their children, which were the ones that were to inherit the promised land, were being offered to the same demonic demons that the people of the land were doing. Now, you see what we're saying here now for us today, now that I brought a little clarification to that, what would God say to us today if he would come and speak to his church? They did not destroy the peoples. We don't have people to destroy. What do we have to destroy? Old traditions. You see, let me give you a another vision. See if we can get it. Let's say that God is building a wall. He lays out the foundation and then every generation is a brick. Every generation is a brick and 2,000 years, however many generations, you complete the wall and the wall is supposed to meet the place on top. In other words, everything is completed. Now, Satan is different than us in the sense that Satan's been around a long time. He was in the Garden of Eden. He was there tempting David. He was there tempting Jesus and is here today. So, Satan knows how things work. So, every time God lays the foundation, he knows he cannot destroy the foundation. But he knows that he can mess with man. So, all he has to do is take that first layer of bricks and just tilt it a little where the eye cannot see it, where you cannot perceive it. And guess what? Three more generations come in. Three more bricks. The wall is line. Before you know it, you have a sour line of pizza. It's way over to this side. Okay, this is the condition of the nation of Israel. When Jesus came here, they have their synagogues. Here they have their teachers, their Pharisees, the teachers of the law. And Jesus says, "You guys messed it up. You put more credence in the laws that you guys have made than in the laws of God." So what did God do? He tore the wall down and he laid a foundation. Now Jesus is coming back, my friends. And if our wall is not straight, if our wall is not plump to the to the word of God, guess what? Our wall is going to get knocked down, too. Don't think that God plays papers when God reaches a certain time and if the wall is not straight, he's going to deal with it. Now what we need to do so that we don't go down without wall is we need to find out where the traditions because that's how Satan comes in. I heard on the men's retreat uh uh uh somebody told uh it was like a joke or like a story but it gives a good parable. This family got together and they, you know, every time they had a family gathering, they cook a ham and this ham they cut the end and the end and so they would cook the whole ham and the two ends separate, you know. And so the little kid asked, "Mommy, why do we cut the ham like this?" "Oh, you know, I don't know. Why don't you ask grandma?" So they asked grandma. She says, "Well, I don't know. Great grandma always did it, you know." So they went all the way to great grandma. Why? Well, their oven was too small and so in order to cook the ham, she had to cut the ends and put it in there. But everybody came in and it became a tradition. So every time they had a family gathering, they cut the ends of the ham even though they had a big old oven. But you see, that's how it is. All that Satan has to do is introduce some kind of a tradition that is demonic because you see the mingling. God is a holy God and God does not deal with contamination, you know, and we know that we're contaminated today because if we were not contaminated, we would be doing even greater works that Jesus did because Jesus said, "The works that I do, you will do also an even greater." So if the Holy Spirit is not moving through us, it's because there's got to be contamination. There's a mingling. Okay? And this is what we need to as individuals come in into the place where we say well I don't want to mingle with the people in our case I believe is with the traditions the old traditions and then it says they did not destroy the peoples the old traditions they mingle with and they learned their works a lot of the rituals that we have today are contaminated by demonic rituals we need to understand that a lot of liturgy the way that the church is set up today and and and I'll show you as we progress is got demonic things to it. Said they serve idols which became a snare to them and they even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons. Back in those days they offer their sons and daughters to demons. Today we give them access to our children by the things we bring into our homes. You see, it's the same thing. It's the same thing. Back in those days, they went down to a tree and they went to the statue of Mollik, which was a huge brass thing. He had arms like this, and they would put fire on the bottom. Then they would put oil there, and they threw their babies into the hands of this uh gruesome demonic thing, and they will burn their children. Today, we do it through the television. We put the little television up in there, and they're watching cartoons that are demonic. They're watching Scooby-Doo doing sorcery and they're watching all of this stuff. And so when our church children grow up, they want nothing to do with the Lord because they see hypocrisy. They see powerless religion and stuff like that. And so what we're doing is we are giving access to these demonic things to our children because of contamination because we're failing to see where the demonic things is coming from. So you see, we're no different. It just it it is a different setting. It says, "And they shed innocent blood, the bloods of their sons and daughters, and the land was polluted with blood." How many of our children, the childrens of Wington, have died on the street through violence? How much if we could just put spiritual goggles as if it were and drive around, how much blood has been shed on the street of our children? Many grandmothers who were praying for their children and their grandchildren, their children were there. Many of you have been touched by that. Women who have been raped on our streets, the blood that has been shed, all of the things is in the land. And so because of that, the land becomes polluted, you see. And so what pollution does is it allows the demons to roam. Uh we live right on the harbor. You can have a a shipload of those things come in and they unload in some kind of a thing and the first thing they look is is their blood, innocent blood been shed someplace, you know, like rats. They need trash like cockroaches. They need dark places to hide. They need a place that that makes them welcome. And they have plenty of places to hide over here. Why? Because our religion has been contaminated by tradition. And because of that, we have opened the door to demonic things that gives them access to our children. Then our children's blood is shed on the street and the land becomes defiled and then these demonic creatures roam around. Uh this is what Peter said. Devil roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He needs an open door. He needs shed glo. He needs contamination. Otherwise, he cannot touch you. Otherwise, he cannot come. Not a lot of fun tonight. What we're talking about, is it? This in reality is what the cause and effect of spiritual adultery is all about. Breaking trust with God. Now in Hosea chapter 4 verse 6. Hosea chapter 4 verse 6. I know that you read the first part of this in the past but I want to read a little more uh the complete verse. Hosea 4:6. God says, "My people, not the other people, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." Listen, there's a saying in the world that says, "What you don't know don't hurt you." That's the biggest lie of the world. What you do not know does hurt you. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you from being priests for me. What is the the duty of a priest? A priest is by definition a person who intercedes between God and man, between the spiritual and the physical. We become born again. And Jesus says, "I give you authority and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven." In Revelation chapter 1 says, "And and we were made priests and kings unto him." We are priests. We are the mediator between God and between men. When man is committing sin, those of us who have been born again are the priests who intercede. And like Abraham said, "Father, don't destroy Sodom. Don't destroy Gomorrah. I I can I'm intercede for." And God says, "Okay, show me five righteous. Show me righteous and I will spare the land. Okay, so here God says because you have rejected knowledge because you stick your head in the sand and because you just go along building upon this wall that is tilting way out and you don't pay attention. I'm going to reject you from being my priest. And look what it says after that. And this is what I want you to connect. I will also forget your children. That's hurts, doesn't it? That hurts. You know what that means? God said, you're opening the door. You're opening the door. You're you're refusing knowledge. you know, uh, the Holy Spirit comes, you get saved, he talks to you about certain programs or certain, uh, movies or about certain rituals, uh, uh, things that we do. Well, well, Lord, you know, that's this old time stuff, you know, that's back in there when people were square, you know, uh, we're living in a modern society, you know, we're progressive. We we have an open mind. we just don't lean over too much, the brain will fall out. But we have an open mind, you know, that kind of stuff. And so God said, "Well, you're rejecting knowledge." Guess what? Number one, you're not going to intercede for the land. And if you're not interceding for the land, then you might as well forget about your children. The next generation is going to be twice as contaminated as you are. As a matter of fact, let's go to Isaiah chapter 1, vers 13. We're going to go to verse 13, but I want to see if I can Find this other one that the Lord just brought to my mind. Number five, Isaiah chapter 1 verse5. Let's look at that one again. God is through the prophet Isaiah confronting their their sin just like they're doing in Psalm. And God says, "Why should you be stricken again? You will revolt more and more. The whole head is sick and the whole heart faints from the sole of the foot even to the head. There is no soundness in it, but wounds and bruises and putrifying sores. They have not been closed or bound up or soothed with ointment. God says, "Why should I spank you? Why should I correct you? The more that I try to correct you, the more that you revolt against me. The more that I try the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the more that I try to bring the direction of the Holy Spirit to you, the more that you revolt against me." You know what happens when you take children and you say, "Well, I'm that that's it, kids. I'm I'm I'm divorcing you. Just go do your own thing. I want nothing to do with you guys." What happens? That generation is destroyed. They become law lawless. They become a gang. And that's what God is saying there confirming the same thing that we just read in Hosea where it says, "I will forget your children." God is saying to to these people, "Why should I even bother to strike you again or or or to try to correct you again?" He says your head is sick and so because of that your heart faint. He said from the sole of your feet to the head there is no soundness on it. This is talking about the religious system. You have to realize that these people were still offering sacrifices. These people went to church every Saturday. These people went to their service and they brought the sacrifices. As a matter of fact, look at verses 13, 14, and 15. He says, "Bring no more feudal sacrifices." Incense is an abomination to me. You know what? Incense was a type of prayer. Look at Revelation. It says, "The saints were offering incense and it was a prayer that rose up to God." God is saying, "Stop coming to church. Stop coming to church. Stop coming to the synagogue." He says, "You bring your sacrifices to me and I'm tire of it. I'm fed up with them." Man, you we don't want to hear God say that to us. Bring no more feudal sacrifices. You know what feudal feudal mean? Worthless. You know that's the spirit. The spirit of bial. Spirit of bal. The name bile appears in the Bible 17 times. 17 times is the works of the find it in Galatians chapter 5. There are 17 works of the flesh. And you know what's at the center of the 17 works of the flesh? selfc centeredness or selfish ambitions or selfish desire. Uh second Timothy 3 I think he says that in the last days men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. So here we're not talking about bad things in the outside. It's talking about the heart. The heart is contaminated because we have mingled with the people. We have mingled with the custom. We have mingled with the things. And so because of that, God says, "Your incense is an abomination to me. Your prayer I don't hear. The new moon, the Sabbath, the callings of the assembly." That's verse 13. Isaiah chapter one. I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting. I want you to hear this. Iniquity is inherited sin or traditional sin. God says, "I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting." When you come to church with your old tradition, I'm fed up with it. He's telling the people of that day, I'm fed up with you following the same traditions, the same sacrifice when you're contaminated and have mingled with the world. Your iniquity, which is inherited sin, has been handed down from generation to generation, and it's just an offense to me. I cannot hear your prayers anymore. And when you come to me, it's worthless. It's beautiful. And I'm fed up with it. Because you see, God looks at the heart and when he sees us and you know what? This is where the church is heading. Peter says that the judgment of God will begin at home. This is what the church before God judges the world. He'll judge us. He'll purify us. He'll turn on the fire. He'll bring cleansing. He'll set up. And that's what the apostolic anointing that's coming. And we'll close with that. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but God will raise up apostles and prophets that will point out the finger to the church and tell her where this demonic things is at and and and tell them get rid of it. And if you read the letter in in in Revelations 3 when he's talking to the church in Leodysia, he she says, "I'm not a widow. I don't need you. I got money. I got silver. I got all the things." And the Lord says, "I counsel you to buy gold from me." Which symbolizes salvation. that has been tested in the fire because that's how God is going to test us. I heard that other that other thing about this uh three terrorists showed up with machine guns to a Sunday church meeting spray out the ceiling and then they said everybody who's a Christian here we're going to kill you unless you renounce Christ right now. So bunch of people said oh we don't want nothing to do with Christ. So they all left and there was just a few left. And then the guys turned to the pastor and and said, "Okay, we'll have church right now. We'll we'll have church right now. We got rid of the hypocrites. We got the people here that are really willing to die for the faith. We'll have church." They took their terrorist thing. They put their gun down say, "Let's worship God. The Lord might do that someday." You know, oh Lord have mercy. Uh Isaiah 1:14, your new moons and your appointed feast my soul hates. You know what the soul is? That that that's what you fill with, man. That's what you love with. That's where your passion resides. And God says, "My soul hates all of these things. They are a trouble to me. I am weary of bearing them." God says, "I am tired of putting up with it." Verse 15. When you spread out your hands, oh Lord, I love you. I will hide my eyes from you. Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Why? Why? Why? Why would the Lord do that? Why? Your hands are full of blood. Your hands are contaminated. Your hand has been mingled with demonic rituals and things. And because of that, with your hands, you're allowing the land to go to hell because you're contaminated with it instead of confronting it. It's hot up here, too, guys. Believe me, it's hot up here, too. I'm standing on on hot coals right now. The question, how could the how could the hands of the church today be so full with blood? Let's turn to Revelation 17:5. What is the root of our contamination? Where does God point the finger when it comes to us, the church, being contaminated? Well, fortunately, Revelation gives us a heads up of what God will do to this spirit of religion. Revelation 17:5, I'm sure uh it should be on, it's in my Bible, it's in bold letters. And it says, "And on her forehead a name was written, Mystery, Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots and of the abominations of the earth." Now, mystery means something that is hidden, something that you do not see. Okay? Babylon the great speaks about the original rebellion against the plan of God which was during the Tower of Babel. Babylon means confusion. The reason why they would call the the Europeans called uh the people that came from the north barbarians is because they spoke with a weird language. Babel Babylon uh even the priests of Santas are called Babala meaning they're speaking confusion. So this has always had to do with confusion. So Babylon is where God uh confronted Nimrod. Nimrod led the people into building a tower or a pyramid which you will find that everywhere. As you look at your dollar, it says in God we trust and there's a pyramid. They're not talking about the God of heaven. They're talking about the God of this world, the God of self, the God of wealth, the the God of all of this the things. And then you will see it that this thing has contaminated everything. And it's called the mother of harlots, meaning that every spirit of contamination that has ever entered any believer came through there. That's what a mother means. And of the abominations of all of the earth. Let me read uh I'll I'll read six all the way through nine. I want you to see how heavy the pollution of this spirit is. Revelation 17:6. I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marvel with great amazement. Now, I want you to see that she is full of blood. And we just read in Isaiah where God says, "I do not hear your prayers because your hands are full of what?" Blood. So it's talking about spiritual contamination that has caused great death. Because when we fail to guard the door, when we fail to be priests over the land, when we fail to be priests over the domain that God has given us, what happens is we open the door to demons that come in to steal and to kill and to destroy. And this thing shed blood, the blood of our children, the blood of our brothers, the blood of our sisters. And when this blood contaminates the land, then that blood is in our hands because we have failed. And thank God that there is a remission of sins that we can in Isaiah chapter one, if you read a few verses later, he says, "And though your sins may be as red as scarlet, they will be as white as wool." So there there is deliverance, but it requires knowledge. Uh Proverbs 11:19, it is through knowledge that the just is delivered. So then verse seven, but the angel said to me, "Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the sand horn. The head that you saw was and is, and will ascend out to the bottomless pit, and go to pdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world." Then they see the beast. when they see the beast that was and is not and yet is. And here's verse nine. What I want you to see, this is where the root of the contamination of all of the churches come from. Here is the mind which has wisdom. Meaning you have to have it through revelation. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. This woman is a religious system that originates all the way back to Babylon. Babylon when Nimrod get led a rebellion against God. Nimrod is said that he was a mighty hunter before the Lord. He was a hunter of souls. Nimrod is the one that opened the door. Every demon that is in the earth today came to the door that Nimrod open. That's what the pyramid. That's what the tower was. The tower is something to where you open a spiritual door. You see, demons cannot cross from their second heaven, from the state of darkness. They cannot cross into this earth because man has authority over the earth. So man has to open the door. That is what sacrifices are. When you offer a blood sacrifice to God, you open the door for God to pour out blessings on you. Bible tells us that uh Noah was told to take two of every animal except for the clean animals that were used for sacrifices to take seven. And it says that when Noah came and he offered these clean animals to God that God smelled the sacrifice and because of that God opened the door from heaven and pour out blessing. He blessed no one. He blessed his children. God's blessing can only come when men opens the door. That's what prayer is. Prayer ascends to heaven like incense. God forgive me of all of my sins. And that prayer opens up the door. And then God sends forgiveness. God sends healing. God sends restoration. But in the same way, when you open the door to demonic things, the selfish nature, that's what Cain was. When Cain brought his sacrifice, it wasn't a sacrifice of blood. It was a sacrifice of selfishness. The ground had been cursed. And he brought a fruit of the ground. He brought an offering of something that was cursed. And God will not accept our curse offerings. The only way that we can go to heaven now is through the blood of Jesus. Okay? So then this um woman, this religious system that contaminates everybody sits on seven mountains on which a woman sits. Now I want you to take your hand out and I just um type seven hills on it and then the first page you have there you will see that Rome right now you can go there and the hills are not even distinguishable because Rome Rome is one of the longest continuously inhabited cities have been inhabited probably for the last 4,000 years 5,000 years. uh they even have names for the seals in early Rome. You can see the the seven names uh there and then of later Rome you can see the names where where they were there. So Rome was the world empire of the day when John was writing that. And he says this woman, this religious system which is called mystery of Babylon, it is residing on a city that has seven hills. And as a matter of fact, you you can read it. You can research this in the internet. Back in those days, they didn't have to say you were from Rome. They asked you where are you from the seven hills? And that automatically everybody knew where you were from. You were from Rome. I printed another I printed this one first, the second one on your page. It has the name on red there. And then I printed this one because it had a little bit more information. But there's a tons and tons of uh writings. And these are not religious writing. This is just secular writings, historical writings about Rome being the place where these uh seven hills were. Now why is that you say important to us? Well the third page that you got which should be this one. This is a copy of a page from uh Reverend Alexander Hiselop. This is a man that hund and some years ago uh wrote a book called the two Babylons. And he trace how the Catholic Church is not a religious organization that truly worships Jesus. That everything upon their worship is demonic. It is demonic. It is contaminated. And you have to remember that we the Protestant came out of her. This is what we need to learn. We came out of her. Our church came out of it. Now, what happens is, before I get into that, I don't know if I'll be able to read it. My contacts are all [ __ ] up. It's so hot up here. But what happens is God brought the church. He built it on the foundation of the apostles. As a matter of fact, let's get the scripture there and then we'll we'll deal with this. Go to um Ephesians 2:20. talks about the church having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. The church was built on the foundation of the prophets and on the foundations of the apostles. Meaning Jesus Christ selected 12 disciples. Then he turned these 12 disciples into apostles. He being the chief cornerstone means trained them for three years. And then these apostles then came in and began to build the churches. Prophets moved through them. They they they taught the word of God. Then they found the churches and they put pastors upon the churches. And then the disciples trained more disciples. And for years and years and years it went even though the church was persecuted for 300 and some years. The church could not be destroyed. It had a solid foundation of nothing but the truth of God. Okay. The devil after 325 years of trying figure he couldn't destroy the church. So he said well if we can destroy it let's join it. And you see this is if you read in the letters, if you see in the letters, one of the letters to Revelation, the uh the sin of Balac uh Balam and Bailo when Balam who was a prophet of God, Bailac wanted to buy him to curse the children of Israel and every time he went to speak a curse over them, blessings came out. And so finally, Balam said, "Hey, I'll teach you how to curse these people, how to get to these people. You just can't speak words against them because God is protecting them. You got to mingle with them. You got to contaminate them. If you read Revelation chapter 2, who taught Balam, who taught uh uh uh Bailac how to contaminate the children of Israel? So this is the process that was put in place. This constant thing guy who was a sun worshipper all the day to the day I claims to be converted as a Christian. He was a Roman emperor. So he says, "Everybody now in my kingdom, the Roman kingdom has to worship Jesus." And so all of these pagan idola Previous Next Home

SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT The objective of Spiritual Discernment is to equip believers with the understanding and ability to recognize and expose unclean spirits that influence human behavior. Through the gift of discerning of spirits, Christians are empowered by the Holy Spirit to identify the root causes of spiritual oppression, confront demonic strongholds, and bring deliverance and restoration through the love of God. This lesson aims to reveal how hatred, rooted in idolatry and pride, manifests as seven abominations, and how God’s love is the ultimate power that breaks these chains. SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT Pastor Marcos Marrero January 1, 1900 Objective: The objective of Spiritual Discernment is to equip believers with the understanding and ability to recognize and expose unclean spirits that influence human behavior. Synopsis: In Spiritual Discernment, Pastor Marcos explains that discernment of spirits is one of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit given for the profit of all believers. Since spiritual warfare involves unseen enemies, discernment is essential in identifying who these spirits are and how they operate. Drawing from Matthew 12, Pastor Marcos shows how unclean spirits leave but attempt to return with stronger reinforcements, revealing the danger of a spiritually empty life. The teaching identifies the root of demonic influence: hatred toward God, which gives rise to idolatry and iniquity. This hatred manifests in seven abominable spirits described in Proverbs, including Pride, Self-righteousness, Gossip and Slander, Malice, Bitter Envy and Self-seeking, Betrayal and Dishonesty, and Perversion. Pride is emphasized as the trunk of this tree of wickedness, masking hatred and opening the door to the others. Pastor Marcos contrasts this demonic counterfeit with the fruit of the Spirit, which is love manifesting in eight forms such as joy, peace, and kindness. Just as Satan builds his infrastructure as a perverted copy of God’s order, so too does hatred mimic love through its abominations. Discernment, then, is the believer’s spiritual tool to recognize these hidden forces of hate and bring light into darkness. Ultimately, the lesson concludes that deliverance is found not in human effort but in replacing hatred with the unconditional love of God. Through Christ’s sacrifice and the power of His Spirit, believers are set free from self-hatred, pride, and perversion, and restored to their true identity in Christ. God’s love, demonstrated at the cross, ensures that nothing can separate us from Him and empowers us to walk in discernment, truth, and victory. Inspired Teaching: 1 Corinthians 12:10 “…To another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits…” Spiritual discernment is one of nine “gifts” made available to believers by the Holy Spirit for the profit of all believers. In spiritual warfare our foes are spirits, our ability to discern who these spirits are and how they operate is crucial if we are to get the upper hand in bringing deliverance to the believers who are oppressed by them. Matthew 12:43-45 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.” In the above verses Jesus gives us tremendous insight into the why and the how of unclean spirits and how they operate. Also how they gain access into the individual. A wicked generation opens the door for widespread demonic infestation. The root of wickedness is idolatry, and idolatry produces iniquities. Psalm 7:14 “Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity.” Exodus 20:4-5 “You shall not make for yourself a carved (idolatry) image — any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me.” And the root of idolatry is hatred towards God. According to Jesus there are seven different kinds of more wicked spirits who are able to interact with the less wicked spirit that claims the body that he was exorcised from as his own house. It will be interesting to know who this wicked spirit is who is able to summon help from more wicked spirits than himself in order to take back the house (body) from which he was kicked out. Proverbs 26:24-26 “He who hates, disguises it with his lips, and lays up deceit within himself; when he speaks kindly, do not believe him, for there are seven abominations in his heart; though his hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness will be revealed before the assembly.” Idolatry in its root form is wickedness that brings forth iniquity (inherited sin) which is deeply rooted in hate, hatred of God and of everything that belongs to God. So that the primary but lesser unclean spirit that summons the seven more wicked spirits than himself after he is cast out, is the spirit of hate. He who hates harbors (summons) seven abominations in his heart (spirits) which revealed themselves as wickedness. Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit (singular) of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (these eight are all manifestations of God’s love). Against such there is no law.” Our born-again spirit is conceived in love (God so loved the world). That love manifests itself in the born-again person in eight different representations of God’s love, for a total of nine. The un-regenerated spirit still belongs to God though separated from Him, so hate which is the opposite of love manifests itself in seven different ways or levels of wickedness, for a total of eight unclean spirits. Satan, the head of the demons sums up to number nine. Every demonic infrastructure is a perverted copy of the heavenly pattern. God is love and manifests His love in eight fruit, singular as in one unit. Satan cannot possess the spirit-man for it belongs to God, so his hate can only manifest itself in seven different levels of itself (hate being number eight) within an individual. These seven manifestations of hate are called abominations in the Word of God. Our ability to discern these abominably unclean spirits and their deeply rooted hatefulness is crucial in our ability to help people beset by them to be set free. This is what spiritual discernment is all about. Seven abominations which are born out of hatred towards God. 1) Proverbs 16:5 “Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; though they join forces, none will go unpunished.” Number one is the spirit of Pride. If hate is the root, clearly pride is the trunk of the tree. Pride is born out of a hateful heart. The spirit of hate masquerades itself so as not to be uncovered: Proverbs 26:24 “He who hates, disguises it with his lips, and lays up deceit within himself.” One sure way to know if hate is present in the heart of the person we are helping is through the discernment of the spirit of pride. If pride is present, hate is hiding behind it, they go together like a hand in glove, and it is this lethal combination of joining forces which enables these other six unclean spirits access. 2) Proverbs 15:8 “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.” Number two is the spirit of Self-righteousness. The proud in heart will pray (sacrifice) to God in self-righteousness instead of meekness, not even aware sometimes of his own conceit. Luke 18:11-13 “The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men — extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess’.” What is it that drives people to do what they do? If pride is behind it, nothing good will come out of it. 3) Proverbs 15:26 “The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD, but the words of the pure are pleasant.” Number three is the spirit of Gossip and Slander. Jesus told us that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. We have a saying that says, the down puts down, the mind set of this spirit is to tear down with words, gossip and slander are its characteristics. 4) Proverbs 11:20 “Those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to the LORD, but the blameless in their ways are His delight.” Number four is the spirit of Malice. A perverse heart manifests itself through malice. It will actively seek and desire for evil things to befall others. 5) Proverbs 12:22 “Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who deal truthfully are His delight.” Number five is the spirit of Bitter Envy and Self-seeking. James 3:14 “But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.” 6) Proverbs 11:1 “Dishonest scales are an abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is His delight.” Number six is the spirit of Betrayal and dishonesty. Dishonesty, betrayal and untrustworthiness is the conduct that will expose this spirit. 7) Proverbs 3:32 “For the perverse person is an abomination to the LORD, but His secret counsel is with the upright.” Number seven is the spirit of Perversion. The person that is driven by the selfish desires of their heart (lust of the flesh), will desire to obtain the things which they see (lust of the eyes) as profitable for increasing their own status in the eyes of others (pride of life). Such a person becomes perverted, meaning a counterfeit copy of their real selves, which was originally created in the image of God. The proud heart will sacrifice whatever it takes to realize the thoughts and desires of their perverse heart, they will lie and cheat to achieve their goals. In the process they lose their original personality, which was created in them by God, and become a perversion of what they were created to be. Who would have thought that hate could produce so much evil. The sad thing is that it usually begins with hating oneself. Pride is what we use to compensate for the feelings of worthlessness, and the rest just follows. Romans 5:5 “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” God put a price on the soul of man, a price so valuable that could only be measure by the intensity of the sufferings and passion of His only begotten Son for us. The precious and priceless blood that Jesus shed for us has once and for all separated the words “worthless” and “soul”. They are so far apart that they are not even in the same universe. Love and self-acceptance in the unconditional love God has for us, which He demonstrated on the cross, is the key that unlocks and opens the perverse heart and releases that hateful bird called pride. Humbly and grateful the restored heart rejoices in its new found love and acceptance, and the peace of God which passes all understanding rules and guides, faithfully comforting the emerging new person which is now being built in the image of Christ. Romans 8:37-39 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” True deliverance comes as we replace the spirit of hate with God’s love which is Spirit, and that’s the truth. Isaiah 25:1 “O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.” Previous Next Home

  • REASON TOGETHER | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

REASON TOGETHER The objective of this teaching is to demonstrate that God calls His people to reason with Him on the basis of truth and humility, rather than blind adherence to religious traditions. It aims to show that reasoning with God begins with the recognition of our sinful condition, is grounded in His holiness, and culminates in the necessity of a Savior—Jesus Christ. The teaching emphasizes repentance, humility, and faith in Christ as the only way to be cleansed and made acceptable before God, while also warning against pride and rebellion that lead to judgment. REASON TOGETHER Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of this teaching is to demonstrate that God calls His people to reason with Him on the basis of truth and humility, rather than blind adherence to religious traditions. Synopsis: This message explores Isaiah 1:18, where God extends an invitation to humanity to “reason together” with Him. It begins with the historical context of how early believers were first known as “people of the way” before being called Christians, highlighting that the gospel was presented not as a new religion but as a more accurate way to salvation through Christ. Reasoning with God is presented as engaging with undisputable truths: mankind is sinful, God is holy, and humanity cannot attain righteousness by its own efforts. Scriptures such as James 4:10 and Psalm 51:17 show that humility and a contrite heart are the only acceptable posture when approaching God. God’s promise of cleansing—making sins white as snow—points directly to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who through His blood redeems and purifies believers. The teaching also explains God’s agenda for His people: to live holy lives marked by justice, mercy, and obedience, as outlined in Isaiah 1:16–17. However, since all have sinned and fall short, the only reasonable conclusion is the need for a Savior. Jesus Christ fulfills this role by dying for sin, rising again, and offering forgiveness to those who repent and believe. Finally, the teaching issues a sobering warning: pride is the greatest barrier that keeps people from salvation, and God’s coming judgment will humble the proud. This present generation, possibly the last before Christ’s return, faces a double responsibility—to repent now and escape both temporal and eternal judgment. The only hope is to renounce pride, accept God’s offer of salvation through Christ, and live in readiness for His return. Inspired Teaching: Isaiah 1:18 “‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord, ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.’” From the foundation of the church of our Lord Jesus Christ, people struggled to define what to call it. The believers of the early church were not called Christians until many years later at a church in Antioch. Acts 11:26 “And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.” Before that, they were called the people of the way—for lack of a better name—since Christianity was never presented as a new religion that they were to embrace, but as a new and more accurate way into salvation. Acts 18:26 “So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.” Notice how Christian doctrine was based on reason rather than religious precepts; they explained salvation as an act of faith that was based on the fact that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day, and that He is now seated at the right hand of God, forever making intercession for all of us who believe in Him. 1 Corinthians 2:1-2 “And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony (mystery) of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” As you can see from our opening text, that God is calling us to reason together with Him, and not to the blind adherence of religious dogma. How does a person reason with God? Remember first, that reason deals with facts, so that we need to establish a protocol that is founded on undisputable facts to which we can relate. Though your sins are like scarlet: The fact is that we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. We can never reason with God from a perspective of equality, that would be pride, which would immediately cause us to be kicked out of His holy presence. James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” Some people get frustrated because they do not seem to get any answers from God when they go before Him in prayer. Psalm 51:17 “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart—these, O God, You will not despise.” These two Scriptures lay a solid foundation as to how we are to approach God in order to reason with Him. First, we must recognize that we are sinners, and that God is holy. Second, that if we come before Him with a spirit of humility and brokenness, He will not turn His back on us. They shall be white as snow: The second aspect has to do with the why are we coming before God. First let me say that, coming before God is always the best move that we can ever make, no matter what our circumstances are. But we need to understand God’s protocol and follow it if we are going to be able to reason with God. What I am saying is that some people only go before God when they have a pressing need that they themselves cannot fix. The problem with this approach is that they want to set the agenda as to what it is that they want to reason with God about. But God has His own agenda for us; He wants to implement in our lives a new way of living so that we can rise to His high calling, which is: Isaiah 1:16-17 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.” This is the context from which God issued the promise: Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. How many of us can keep God’s law? No one can! For it is written that All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean: How do we do that? Jesus Christ and Him crucified! Sound reasoning leads us to the fact that within ourselves we are incapable of doing that which is good; therefore, the only conclusion that we can reasonably arrive to, is that we are all in need of a Savior. Romans 7:18 “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.” So far, we learned that God is holy, and that those who follow God must also be holy. We are commanded by God to wash ourselves, and to make ourselves clean in order to follow Him. We are also told that we cannot even do that for ourselves; what a wretched condition we find ourselves in—we need a Savior who is able to deliver us from our filth and make us acceptable before God. Who is this Savior, and how does He saves us? Romans 7:24-25 “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!...” Jesus is our Savior because He died for all our sins. Hebrews 9:22 “And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.” Jesus is our Savior who not only died for all our sins, but He is also our Savior who cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Ephesians 1:6-7 “To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” So far reason has led us into the undeniable facts that God is holy and that we are not. That we are required by God to be good, but the reality is that we are not. And not only that, but that we are unable to be good by our own strength. We conclude then that without a Savior we are forever lost. Isaiah gives us the promise that: Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool, but only if we repent and accept His offer of forgiveness that can only be attained through Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, whose name is forever to be blessed! Isaiah 1:19-20 “‘If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat (be blessed with salvation) the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured (destroyed by your own sins) by the sword’; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” The spirit of pride is the biggest obstacle that keeps those who know that they need a Savior, from accepting Jesus as their Savior. We need to realize that it is the pride—and the proud—of this world that our Lord is coming to judge. Without Jesus as our Savior, we will fall under the coming judgment of God. For the preceding generations, their judgment came after they died without Christ. For it is written that: It is appointed unto men to die once and then comes the judgment. What is unique to our present generation—if this is the last generation before Jesus comes, as all signs point that it is—is that this generation will have to bear the judgment of all the preceding generations before it. Matthew 23:36 “Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.” So that this last generation will have to endure the physical punishment due to all the generations before it, while here on the earth, and then, be cast into hell and the eternal judgment that follows. So that there is a double incentive for those who are now alive, to repent and to receive the double reward of salvation and escaping the judgment that is soon coming upon all those who dwell on the earth, to test them. Isaiah 2:10-11 “Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.” According to Scripture, there are three major spirits that afflict all the inhabitants of this present-day world. 1 John 2:16 “For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” We learn by simple reasoning from Scripture, that the only way to overcome the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, is by dying to self and living with Christ, through the power of His unending grace. We also learn that pride is what keeps many from humbling themselves before God, confessing their sins before Him, and receiving God’s pardon that is available through our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. We learn as well that it is that spirit of pride that God will judge mightily at His soon return. If there was ever a time to renounce the spirit of pride and to enter into the Rock of God’s salvation, it is right now before God’s final judgment is unleashed! Isaiah 2:12 “For the day of the Lord of hosts shall come upon everything proud and lofty, upon everything lifted up—and it shall be brought low.” Previous Next Home

  • INDIGNATION AND WRATH | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

INDIGNATION AND WRATH To help believers understand the seriousness of rejecting God’s grace, the consequences of self-seeking and disobedience to the truth, and the distinction between justification and sanctification in relation to God’s indignation and wrath. The goal is to encourage repentance, self-denial, and perseverance in God’s grace so that we may escape His wrath and receive eternal rewards. INDIGNATION AND WRATH Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: To help believers understand the seriousness of rejecting God’s grace, the consequences of self-seeking and disobedience to the truth, and the distinction between justification and sanctification in relation to God’s indignation and wrath. The goal is to encourage repentance, self-denial, and perseverance in God’s grace so that we may escape His wrath and receive eternal rewards. Synopsis: This teaching explores Paul’s warning in Romans 2:8 about God’s indignation and wrath toward those who are self-seeking and reject His truth. God’s wrath is not arbitrary, but the natural result of sowing rebellion and despising His grace. While justification instantly grants forgiveness through faith in Christ, sanctification is an ongoing process of cleansing and self-denial. Believers who persist in selfish ambition risk falling under God’s indignation and forfeiting eternal rewards, even though salvation itself is secure. Paul emphasizes that God’s grace teaches us to deny ungodliness and live righteously, preparing us for Christ’s return. Those who fail to prepare, like the unfaithful servant in Luke 12, may face discipline and endure God’s wrath alongside unbelievers before restoration. Revelation 3 contrasts the faithful Philadelphia church, spared from the hour of trial, with the lukewarm Laodiceans, who are warned to repent through refining fire. Ultimately, salvation is a free gift, but eternal rewards are tied to faithfulness. Self-seeking leads to loss, while self-denial leads to eternal gain. Believers are urged to repent, embrace sanctification, and walk in God’s grace so that when Christ returns, they will be found faithful, spared from wrath, and rewarded in eternity. Inspired Teaching: Romans 2:8 “But to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath.” God’s indignation is kindled by those who despise God’s grace. Imagine knowing that a great disaster is about to be unleashed and that the people that are on its path are not aware of it; so you make every effort to warn those who are in the place that will soon be destroyed that they need to escape—only to be rejected and scorned by those very people you are trying to save. Rejection is what makes God indignant and causes those who reject God’s free offer of grace to fall under the wheels of God’s wrath. God’s wrath comes as the result of reaping that which we have sown. Romans 2:6 “Who will render to each one according to his deeds.” The reality is that there are people who are stubborn and who will not listen to reason, now why is that? There are probably many reasons why people behave the way they do, but in our opening text God gives us the key that exposes the root cause for rebellion—those who are self-seeking. We may not be fully aware of this truth, but if we take a close and careful look in the mirror, it will not be long before we come face to face with our mortal enemy and find that—surprise— it is us! If we want to fully understand God’s grace, His wrath, His indignation, we have to view them from the perspective of our own mortality. Let’s face it—self-seeking is hardwired into every one of us; just look at an infant, when they do not get what they want or need, they let you know it right away, and in no uncertain terms. The grace of God teaches us, first of all, about the dangers of selfish ambitions. We cannot accept God’s grace unless we first acknowledge the fact that we are in need of it. Titus 2:11-12 “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.” Once we realize that we are our own worst enemy, and that God’s wrath will fall upon those whose deeds do not live up to God’s standards, then, the only logical conclusion that we are left with is that we are in need of His grace, so that we repent and accept His offer of forgiveness. But if after we have received His forgiveness, we despise His grace by continuously seeking our own selfish ways—after we’ve been delivered from the consequences of them—do we kindle then, His indignation, and fall back into the wrath that He worked so hard to deliver us from? Romans 2:4-5 “Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.” It is clear that Paul is addressing believers in his letters that he wrote to the churches. It is also clear that only those who are under God’s grace, are in a position to despise such grace. For how can we despise something that we have not personally experienced? Wrath in the day of wrath. God’s salvation has two basic components: Forgiveness and cleansing. 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” The theological terms are Justification and Sanctification. Justification happens instantly, as soon as we confess our sins before God in Jesus name, we are immediately forgiven. Sanctification is a process which begins the day that we are justified. This process is God’s mechanism to deliver us—cleanse us—from the consequences of all the sins that we have committed. The agent that God uses to bring about His forgiveness and cleansing in us, is His grace: For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age. In Justification we pass from death into life in an instant. The same grace that saves us, now preserves us, while the process of Sanctification takes place. In order to receive salvation, we have to ask God for it with a repentant heart. In the process of sanctification, we have to learn how to deny ourselves and live for God, by the power of His grace that sustains us. For we know that those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness fall under the indignation of God’s wrath. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Remember that salvation has two components, forgiveness gets us into heaven, and cleansing delivers us from the wrath of God’s indignation. 1 Corinthians 3:11, 13, 15 “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ (our salvation)...Each one’s work (selfish ambition or self-denial) will become clear; for the Day (of God’s wrath) will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is...If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss (cleansing from the consequences of their sins while on this earth); but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” Salvation is a gift which cannot be earned; those who truly repent and accept God’s grace and forgiveness of sins, are immediately justified and on their way to heaven. But while here on earth after we get saved, the grace of God teaches us to deny ourselves and to flee from all the worldly lusts and self-seeking that got us into the mess we were in before we got saved. Refusing to deny ourselves incurs God’s indignation and wrath in the day of His wrath, so that we miss out in the cleansing part. Matthew 10:39 “He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake (denies himself to receive the cleaning) will find it.” If we still go to heaven, what is it then that we lose? Every believer that dies goes before the Judgment Seat of Christ, which is a judgment of rewards or the forfeiting of them as we read in: 1 Corinthians 3:14-15 “If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” To the Corinthians Paul is talking about the works that those who were saved and died, built on the foundation of their salvation, and about what happens on the coming Day of judgment that will reveal whether those works were the result of self-seeking or self-denial. But what Paul is talking about in his letter to the Romans is what happens in the Day of His Wrath to those who are alive when He returns to the earth, and finds them doing their own works instead of being sanctified to do the Lord’s work. Luke 12:46-47 “The master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.” Notice first, how Jesus considers the servant to be a believer who was unprepared and not looking for His return. After cutting him in two, He assigns that servant a portion with the unbelievers, which is to be beaten with many stripes. What did Jesus mean by cutting him in two? I believe Jesus was referring to the separation between the justification and the sanctification of that wicked servant. He was still considered a saved servant who belonged to Him. But since he did not prepare or sanctify himself for His master’s return, he must suffer punishment before he is restored, which is the indignation of God’s wrath. His portion with the unbelievers means that he has to go through the wrath that those who rejected God’s free grace must go through, but God will save him after his many stripes are completed. If we read Revelation chapter three where the fate of the last two churches is decreed by Jesus Himself before His return, we find that the Philadelphia church is spared from the hour of trial—wrath—that is coming upon the whole world to test those who live in the world, because they kept His Word and did not deny His name. Revelation 3:8, 10 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door (the rapture), and no one can shut it; for you have little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name...Because you have kept My command to persevere (through sanctification), I also will keep you from the hour of trial (God’s indignation and wrath) which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” Then we read about the Laodicea church, and we see a different story. Revelation 3:18-19 “I counsel you to buy from Me gold (sanctification) refined in the fire...As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten (discipline). Therefore be zealous and repent.” The good news is, as of this writing, the rapture has not taken place yet. Jesus’ offer to be zealous and repentance is still available to all who believe. It is never too late to start denying ourselves for the sake of Jesus Christ and for the glory of His Gospel of peace. What ever it is that our self-seeking is gaining for us in this life is not worth losing the eternal rewards that follow faithfulness to the Word of God. There is no comparison between a few years and eternity. All that we possess will be left behind the day that we are taken away from this earthly realm. There are no u-hauls attached to the hearse. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. Let us make haste, for Jesus is coming very soon. Previous Next Home

INTERCESSION The objective of this lesson is to provide a clear biblical understanding of the ministry of intercession, revealing why it is necessary, how it operates, and the role believers play in asking God to intervene in earthly matters. It aims to equip Christians with insight, encouragement, and practical steps to intercede effectively for families, leaders, institutions, and the world, in alignment with God’s will. INTERCESSION Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The objective of this lesson is to provide a clear biblical understanding of the ministry of intercession, revealing why it is necessary, how it operates, and the role believers play in asking God to intervene in earthly matters. It aims to equip Christians with insight, encouragement, and practical steps to intercede effectively for families, leaders, institutions, and the world, in alignment with God’s will. Synopsis: In Intercession, Pastor Marcos Marrero emphasizes the indispensable role of intercession in the Christian life, grounding the teaching in Hebrews 7:25, which highlights Jesus’ continual intercession for humanity. Intercession is portrayed as both a necessity and a divine requirement, bridging the gap between God’s will in heaven and the realities of life on earth. Since authority over the earthly realm was originally given to man but usurped by Satan, prayer becomes the means by which believers invite God’s will and power into situations of chaos. The lesson frames intercession as a spiritual battle requiring consistency, persistence, and alignment with God’s will. Pastor Marcos outlines the priority of interceding for one’s family, emphasizing the biblical structure of the household and the power of agreement, particularly within marriage. He warns of Satan’s attacks on the family and marriage covenant, which are designed to weaken collective intercession. Beyond the family, believers are called to intercede for those in positions of authority—government officials, teachers, church leaders, and lawmakers—so that society may reflect God’s justice and truth. Intercession is also deeply personal, requiring an intimate relationship with Jesus. True intercession flows from a heart aligned with Christ’s heart, leading the believer into deeper spiritual unity and even into what Pastor Marcos describes as the “hill of the Lord,” a place of communion with other intercessors in the Spirit. The teaching concludes by stressing purity of heart and freedom from idolatry as essential to effective intercession. Intercessors must rid themselves of selfish ambition and deceitful traditions to carry God’s heart and release His will on earth. Ultimately, intercession is both a privilege and a responsibility, enabling believers to partner with Christ in lifting His name, advancing His kingdom, and shaping the destiny of individuals, families, and nations through prayer. Inspired Teaching: Hebrews 7:25 “Therefore He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Intercession is not only needed, but is very much required for the proper function of everyday life as we know it. If it were not, then Jesus would not have to live always making intercession for us. What are the mysteries of intercession and why is it that it is so very much required? In this lesson we are going to try to unravel some of the mysteries related to intercession, in the hope that we can get some insight into this ministry that is so vital to our everyday lives, in the hope that it would encourage us to intercede on a daily basis. Matthew 6:9-10 “In this manner, therefore, pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’” To understand intercession is to understand why the will of God is not being done on the earth as it is in heaven; we need to know that the authority to rule over the earthly realm was given to Adam, to man and his descendants, Satan usurped that authority from man through deception and introduced chaos into the earthly realm. Since that time there has always been a battle between good and evil here on the earth. Jesus came and destroyed Satan’s power to inflict chaos upon the earth and returned earthly authority back into the hands of godly man. Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Intercession is asking God to do His good will here on the earth on behalf, and for the good of all mankind. Since the authority has been returned back to us, when we see chaos ruling, it is because someone is failing to ask God to intervene in that situation. We may ask, why doesn’t God remove the chaos and bring to us His peace? Since God gave authority to man to rule over the earthly realm, God will not interfere into the affairs of man uninvited. That is what intercession is pure and simple, recognizing that we fail due to our fallen nature, to bring the goodness of God by ourselves into the earthly realm. We need His help! Luke 18:1 “Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart.” In the parable that followed Jesus spoke about a widow that was not strong enough to take on her adversary by herself. The widow in the parable typifies mankind in our fallen human nature. The judge in the parable did not care about her need for justice, but due to her importunity, a type for consistency in prayer, the judge granted the widow her request. Then Jesus adds: Luke 18:7 “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? Men are always to pray and not lose heart: This brings us to the first aspect of intercession. Intercession is a Battle: A spiritual battle that requires a battle plan. Once we understand that God will not intervene in human affairs unless we ask Him to, and we know that it is His will, not ours, that He wants to bring into the mix, then we need to know what His will is in regards to the situation that we are asking His intervention for, so that we can pray in accordance with His will for that situation. If we do not, then the chaos will continue, for He aims for His will to be done not ours. Battle on behalf of mankind: God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 Our daily intercession should follow, as in regards to our prayers on behalf of mankind, first the family and the family structure. 1 Timothy 5:8 “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” These are pretty strong words that Paul speaks, that is because God is after the family structure; the family that prays together not only stays together but has a powerful influence in all that surrounds them. Is called the power of agreement as in a married couple interceding together on behalf of their entire families that became connected to one another through them entering into holy matrimony. That is why the institution of marriage is under such a heavy attack right now from those who want to redefine it. Their demonic aim is to corrupt the power of this marital institution to intercede together on behalf of both families by introducing dividing controversies into the family unit, thereby their power of intercession is neutralized. So that intercession should be made first on behalf of the household and beginning with the head of the household. Daily intercession should be made on behalf of parents, grand parents, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, our siblings, their siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and for the families that they are interconnected with as well. God will use your prayer for some distant family member that you do not even know to save them from hell; remember that God is not willing that any of them should perish and be lost forever, but He will not act on their behalf by imposing His own will upon them unless someone prays for their salvation, which is God’s will for them. Many years ago, one of my nephews found himself, after going forward on an altar call, in front of an evangelist that told him that the reason he had answered the call was because his uncle was praying for him. This blew his mind for he knew that I was the only saved uncle that he had, he called us to ask, and we told him, yes we pray daily for our nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles and cousins. This was a confirmation to us way back then, that God always hears our prayers. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Secondly, we need to pray for the men and women that are part of the governmental structures that rule society, both secular and religious institutions. So that we need to pray on a daily basis for the churches and the elders of the churches, for the schools, the principles, the teachers, those who prepare the curriculum that the teachers teach, we are not to leave any of that to the will of the enemy. The fruit of the womb is His reward, let our children be invested with the knowledge of the truth, after all they belong to the God of Truth. Let us pray for the lawmakers and those who are in charge of executing the laws that the legislators pass. Let us pray for the judges that rule on what laws are just and which are not. Our prayer on their behalf should be based on what is God’s best for those over whom they rule. If the rules that they pass and enforce go against what is God’s best for the people they have rule over, then our intercession for them will be for God’s conviction of what is right and wrong to be revealed to them. If God opens their eyes to see the evil that their ruling is bringing upon the people, then hopefully they will repent and do the right thing on behalf of those over whom they have the power to rule. 3 John 2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” Thirdly we need so seek our own personal time of intimacy with Jesus. True intercession is born out of a heart that has an intimate relationship with the heart of Jesus. When His heart becomes one with our heart, our intercession for those things which touch His heart will be the more powerful; when our desire becomes one with His desire, there is a powerful and unstoppable force that is released as we become one with Him in His will for us. Ephesians 4:3 “Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Fourthly there is a place in the heavenly realm where those whose hearts have touched Jesus’ heart meet. This is a real place, more real than any reality that we’ve ever experienced here on earth. You will find people there whose prayer originates from many distant lands, somehow they form a spiritual connection and come together in the bond of peace, while in their efforts to ascend into the hill of the Lord and touch the heart of God. They begin their journey with a simple desire for interceding on behalf of what is in the heart of Jesus at that time. Somehow they all interconnect, they arrived into what is called the unity of the Spirit, when suddenly the Holy Spirit takes them to the base of what is called the hill of the Lord. Once there, they are able to commune one with another in complete trust, being aware of the other intercessors humanity and purpose. You can hear their thoughts and communicate your feelings to them through the same process. To reach the top of the hill of the Lord is the goal, so they press tightly together with one another in order to attain the purpose for which their Lord brought them there. Not all make it to the top at first, for it is a process. And it is that process the reason why I am sharing this aspect of intercession with you right now. Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.” This Psalm is a Messianic Psalm, meaning that it applies to Jesus, since Jesus is the only perfect human who could fulfilled the requirements stated in the Psalm. But when the intercessors heart becomes one with Jesus’ heart, a pure heart, that is when the intercessor is brought into the base of the hill of the Lord and ascend into the desires of God’s heart. In order for this pureness of heart to take effect, there has to be a cleanness of hands. Idolatries are the issue here, idolatry is the worship of a substitute god, usually the worship of self, or selfish ambitions, all of which defiles the human heart. We can pray the will of God and be in an idolatrous condition, but we can never pray the heart of God in such an idolatrous state, for idolatry is what keeps us from knowing His heart. Hence the ultimate goal of an intercessor should be to rid themselves of all traces of idolatry within their hearts in order to attained the heart of God. You have to begin with the truth, by being true to yourself, truth is the only thing that can make you free. The word sworn, as in sworn deceitfully, literally means to seven oneself, so that it has to do with a custom or ritual, some practice that takes place on regular intervals, a custom that is based on the perversion of the truth, that in reality is idolatry. Such traditional practices will be the hardest of all things to get rid of in your Christian life, because such practices are deeply embedded into modern day Christian liturgy. Truth leads us into the will of God, which in turn leads us into the truth of the purpose of God, which in turn takes us into the very heart of God. John 12:32 “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” If the goal of intercession is to bring to the earth what is God’s will in heaven, so that God’s purpose for the inhabitants of the earth can be accomplished, and if the best way to accomplish that ministry is to have the very heart of God within our hearts, is it not then necessary that Jesus be lifted up from the earth? You see, if we are proclaiming Jesus’ heart to the world, how can we do so effectively if we ourselves are soiled with the very earthly customs that profane His holy name, since we still have regard for those customs and patronized them? The devil is no match for the name of Jesus, all a believer has to do is to proclaim that precious name of Jesus, and no matter what his circumstances are, Jesus will answer him. But if we are swearing deceitfully by profaning the name that is above every name, by equating His holy name with some ancient pagan festival festering with idolatry, then the devil will not fear those who profane Jesus’ holy name, for by doing so they have placed themselves into the bottom of the heap of rubbish that hell itself is built on. John 12:26 “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? The true servants that follow Jesus, for those who follow Jesus are with Jesus where He is, and Jesus is on the top of the hill of the Lord. What a privilege it is to make intercession on behalf of the saints in the very presence of His Majesty on High. Previous Next Home

  • ARE WE THERE YET? | House of Faith Ministries (HoFM)

ARE WE THERE YET? The purpose of this teaching is to encourage believers to prepare spiritually for the imminent return of Jesus Christ by deepening their faith, remaining steadfast in God’s promises, and living with readiness to meet the Lord with joy rather than fear. It seeks to stir believers to both personal holiness and active compassion for others, reminding them that Christ’s coming is certain, His promises are true, and our responsibility is to be watchful, prayerful, and faithful until He appears. ARE WE THERE YET? Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: The purpose of this teaching is to encourage believers to prepare spiritually for the imminent return of Jesus Christ by deepening their faith, remaining steadfast in God’s promises, and living with readiness to meet the Lord with joy rather than fear. It seeks to stir believers to both personal holiness and active compassion for others, reminding them that Christ’s coming is certain, His promises are true, and our responsibility is to be watchful, prayerful, and faithful until He appears. Synopsis: Are We There Yet? reflects on the anticipation and reality of Christ’s return, drawing from Jude 24–25 and the author’s personal vision of the rapture. The message explores the overwhelming holiness of Jesus, contrasted with His joy in presenting His redeemed people faultless before the Father. It emphasizes that while human frailty may tremble before His presence, the Spirit within believers affirms God’s faithfulness to His promises. The teaching calls Christians to actively build themselves up in faith, pray in the Holy Spirit, and live with assurance that Christ will deliver them from wrath. It highlights the urgency of preparing not only ourselves but also others—through truth for the doubters and urgent compassion for those gripped by fear. Scripture warns that not all who call themselves Christians will be ready, especially those in spiritual complacency like the Laodicean church, but the faithful will be taken up in the rapture. Ultimately, the message is both a warning and a hope: Jesus’ return is near, and believers must keep themselves in God’s love, stand firm in His Word, and share the gospel boldly so that others may also be rescued. The vision of the rapture, together with the promises of God, serves as a reminder that Christ is coming soon with exceeding joy to receive His people into eternal fellowship with Him. Inspired Teaching: Jude 24-25 “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.” I have, for many years, tried to imagine what it would be like to know that the return of our Lord was imminent, and I often asked myself these questions, How would I react? What would I do, if anything? Where would my emphasis be? I have gone in my mind from the scenario of getting all my family together in one place while we anxiously await for Jesus to appear in the clouds to take us with Him, to the thought of what type of fate would be left for my dog and my bird, if it were to happen that they get left behind after we are raptured? The one question that always seems to reign supreme is this one: What will my response be as my mortality is overwhelmed by His holiness? I believe that the main reason why God gave me a vision of the rapture the early morning of February 12, 1989, was so that I could have a very personal understanding of this basic question. Jesus is able to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Imagine the myriad of feelings that we all would be experiencing if we knew with certainty that we were about to meet Jesus face to face. In my vision, the holiness of Jesus made every cell in my body become unglued, my body was trembling so violently as He was approaching me that it became undone, my mind was trying to decide what to do in the face of such overwhelming feelings of joy and fear, but my spirit just began to shout, Hallelujah He kept His promised, the closer that Jesus came the louder that my spirit got, as I kept repeating, Hallelujah He kept His promised, over and over again, till I was raptured. You can read about the entire vision in the opening pages of my book Man’s Final Destiny, in the books section of houseoffaithministries.org. In our opening Scripture we get to see the other side of the equation, and it is amazing to see that Jesus is just as excited as we are if not more, for we are told that He is coming after us with Exceeding joy; do you remember how Scripture tells us that for the joy that was set before Him He endured the cross? Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” So that in reality, Jesus is a lot more excited to meet with as than we are to meet with Him, for in our frailties we fear His holiness, yet He is so eager to reveal His grace to us and to present us faultless before His glorious Father who gave us to Him as His bride for eternity. Once we understand that our humanity, along with its many frailties is not an issue to Him, for He understands us perfectly, then we can put our emphasis on what we really need to do in order to be ready at His appearing, let’s not forget that not all of the virgins were ready. Jude 20 “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” In my vision of the rapture it was my spirit who took charge, for the promises of God are spiritual, and my spirit who was made alive by the Word of God, and was baptized, plunged into the Body of Jesus by the Holy Spirit back when I became a born again Christian, immediately recognized that Jesus was just fulfilling His promises, therefore I was able to shout Hallelujah, He is just doing what He promised that He would do, and there is no doubt in my spirit-man that He will keep His promises, for it is the Holy Spirit in us who knows the mind of God. How do we build ourselves up? How do we prepare ourselves for His coming? We believe within our hearts that what He promised in His Word, He is able to fulfill, that is how our faith becomes most holy, that is, separated from the circumstances around us. Then we can pray in the Holy Spirit, and He will reveal what the will of God is for us. We know that God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and since God has not appointed us to wrath, then we are praying His will for us when we ask Him to take us out before His day of wrath is set to begin. Let us make sure that we know the Word and the promises of God for us in Spirit and in Truth, not only in our minds, but within our hearts as well, live it out, let His promises become real to you, and when the time comes, they will not let you down, for His strength will be made perfect in whatever weaknesses remain in us at the time of His coming. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Read the promises, hear the promises, see the promises, believe in the promises deep within your hearts, do not let doubt anywhere near them. Jude 21 “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” God’s promises will keep us in His love and looking for His mercy. Once we become settled in the fact that because we have repented and confessed all our sins before Him, and have accepted His forgiveness for all of our sins that the atoning blood of Jesus purchased for us, we keep ourselves in His love by looking for His mercy to be revealed to others as well, for if He is not willing that any should perish, then neither should any of us be willing to let those around us perish for lack of the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for them. It is hard to preach what we are not practicing, but if we truly believe that the return of our Savior is imminent, and we are preparing ourselves for His soon return, then telling others about the blessed hope that we are eagerly awaiting and expecting should be relatively easy for us. Jude 22-23 “And on some have compassion, (doubters) making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.” Some of the people that we will be targeting for prayer before the Lord returns, family, friends, acquaintances, will have different issues that they will be dealing with, that when the return of Jesus becomes evident might prevent them from calling on the name of the Lord to be saved. To the doubters we speak the Word of Truth, we simply show them God’s promises being fulfilled right before their eyes, that was how Thomas stopped doubting when confronted with the evidence that Jesus was alive and standing right before him. Revelation 6:16 “And said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!’” When the awesomeness of the Lord is revealed to the nations before His judgments begin, the natural human response will be fear, a fear that will drive the populace to run to the bomb shelters, away from Him instead of running to Him. That is where we come in, if we know which promise of Scripture to direct them to, and if we have been praying for them like we should, then the Holy Spirit has already prepared their hearts to receive our message, for that is how everybody gets saved, people start praying for them and then those who proclaim God’s Word to them reap the harvest. Joel 2:31-32 “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved…” We convert the doubters with the truth, Jesus may seem like an alien to them, for they do not truly know Him, but to us Jesus is our confidence and our salvation, our peace and our refuge, a refuge into which we invite them by explaining to them that they must repent and call on the name of the Lord out loud if they want to be saved. The sinners are converted by their fear, they know that the wrath of the Lamb is imminent, real, and weighting heavy upon them, in their trembling we reach out to them with the Gospel, and by doing so it will be like pulling them out of the fire of hell itself. But we must be convinced of what we believe if we want to be effective, this is why first responders train over and over again in realistic situations, so that when faced with a real emergency their training takes over and they do their jobs without been overwhelmed by the situation or circumstances that they are faced with. For us, our spiritual training involves us constantly praying in the Holy Spirit, driven by His mercy towards us and others, and out of our deep desire to be with Him for ever and ever. Genesis 5:24 “And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” Jude 14 “Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints.’” The return of the Lord will be a very real event, it will take place very soon, maybe sooner than most realize. All the true believers (those who keep His Word and have not denied His name/deity) will be taken up with Him in the rapture, but many who call themselves Christians will be left behind, this is what the Bible says right now to the Christians that will not go up in the rapture if it were to take place today. Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” The Laodicea church is told that: Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—I counsel you to buy from Me gold (salvation) refine in the fire… Revelation 3:17-18 There is a church that has closed its doors to the Lord, is the Laodicea church, and Jesus is knocking on their door right now, He is telling them that without Him they have nothing, for they are naked, blind, and poor. It may be that these are some of the people that will be converted when Jesus is first revealed before the rapture takes place, maybe that the only way that they will hear Him knock is when the see Him in the clouds. If you have been trusting in man-made religious traditions, they will not suffice when the sky recedes as a scroll and the wrath of the Lamb is ready to be unleashed. Now is the time to open the door of your heart to the trustworthiness of His promises, to embrace His deity and the inerrancy of Scripture, just look around you, we are living in the end of the age, do not be swept away by their demonic deluge of lies. Jude 4 “For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.” Previous Next Home

THE HOPE OF GLORY The purpose of this message is to reveal the true meaning of the “hope of glory” found in Christ, showing believers that they are created in the image of God, called into His glory, and given the inheritance of His presence. It aims to help the body of Christ understand their identity in Him, recognize the contrast with unbelief and sin, and embrace the hope that will be fulfilled when we see Him face to face. < Back THE HOPE OF GLORY Minister Lisa Kane June 25, 2023 Objective: The purpose of this message is to reveal the true meaning of the “hope of glory” found in Christ, showing believers that they are created in the image of God, called into His glory, and given the inheritance of His presence. It aims to help the body of Christ understand their identity in Him, recognize the contrast with unbelief and sin, and embrace the hope that will be fulfilled when we see Him face to face. Synopsis: In “The Hope of Glory”, Lisa teaches from Genesis 1:27 and Colossians 1:27, showing that mankind was created in the image of God and that Christ living in us is the true hope of glory. She explains that in the last days, God is dealing with three groups: Israel, the Bride of Christ, and unbelievers. While unbelievers embrace pride and sinful identities, the Church must hold fast to their identity in Christ, knowing they reflect the image of God. Drawing from the example of Moses’ encounter with God in Exodus 33, Lisa illustrates that although no man can see God’s face and live, His glory still passes before His children, surrounding them with His presence. She emphasizes that glory is not abstract but a real, substantial manifestation of God’s power and love. Believers are reminded that the “hope of glory” is the assurance of seeing Christ in eternity, but also the present reality of God’s glory resting upon those who walk in Him. Through repentance, humility, and relationship with God, we gain peace, access to His grace, and the inheritance of His promises. Lisa warns that unbelievers who reject Christ remain under sin, but stresses God’s unfailing love and His desire that all repent. Using scripture from Romans, Ephesians, Psalms, and Revelation, she demonstrates that glory is both God’s covering and His inheritance for His children. The message closes with a call to repentance, intimacy with God, and steadfast faith, so that when others look at us, they see the image and glory of God reflected in our lives. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane. I'm recording this on Sunday, June 25th, 2023. Welcome. This message is called the hope of glory. Let's open up in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your blessings. We thank you for your glory. We thank you for your presence. We thank you for being with us. Lord, you are mighty. You are amazing. You are always with us and you love us. Thank you, Father God, for you truly are great. You are my God, my King, my Lord, and my Savior. I belong to you and you belong to me. Thank you, Father God, in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. Uh just a couple of updates. We are now in Missouri, so I apologize that it's taken me, I think, three weeks to get a message together. When we first got out here, the rental that I'm in right now, it wasn't ready when we got here. So, we've been in an Airbnb. Kind of treated it like a mini vacation that the Lord gave us. So, very, very nice to have that. And uh we got to relax a little bit. We are now here and this is temporary for 6 months. Uh they're building our home. So, once we have that built, I think we'll be moving in sometime around Christmas, give or take. So, we're looking forward to that. But in the meantime, here I am. So, it's a different background. We'll work with this and and maybe I'll modify it over as the days go by because I'm still unpacking and still looking for things. All right, let's go to our opening scripture here. The hope of glory. Amen. Genesis 1:27. So God created man in his own image. In the image of God he created him. Male and female he created them. Okay. So, what I have taught on in the past here is that there are three groups of people that the Lord is dealing with in the end times, which is our generation. This is where we're at right now. So, you have um the nation of Israel that he's dealing with. You have the the uh bride of Christ, which is who we are. Anyone who says Jesus is the son of God is the bride of Christ. And then last, but certainly not least, is the unbeliever. So, here we are in the month of June, and what is the unbeliever celebrating right now? They are celebrating Pride Month, which we all know scripturally pride goes before the fall. So, we are at the precipice. We're about to fall. Uh, in case you are not following the Lord, you're not following scripture. It may be a shock to you if you're hearing this for the first time, but yes, we're about to fall. Now, we can pray and we can intercede and do what we can, but remember God has an agenda and his agenda is to get to the end times here. So, we all know that revelation is coming and we know that all of the steps are there and have been laid down. The foundation is there. So, this can go pretty much at any time. And there's a series of events that we're watching, you know, like Russia right now and this uh coup um mutiny that tried to take place. So there's a lot of things going on. So be attentive, be watchful as Jesus tells us. So this opening scripture, God created created us in his image. So the hope of glory has to do with who we are with Christ. So looking at the unbeliever right now, what do we see? They're celebrating Pride Month, which is, you know, homosexuality, lesbian type of things. So, these are um sin that God has declared a sin simply because they're not fruitful. So, they're identifying as what the opposite of what God has created them to be. They're they're, you know, kind of saying, you know what, I yeah, I was born a man, but nope, I'm not a man. I'm a woman. And this is the type of thing that they are celebrating. So the identity is the doors are open right now. And you can go read Jonathan Khan's book, Return of the Gods, or go watch any of his videos that he speaks about in the um spiritual aspect of what we're dealing with right now. That I support that 100% because this is exactly what we're dealing with. This had to happen though for the return of the Lord. So keep that in mind. So you've got this uh generation now that is standing up for death because see man on man cannot produce children. Now if they think they can produce children in a test tube environment and they think okay well life will go on so we can live in the sin that we want. Well that's not the way it is. So let's talk about the image of God because see that is what the enemy is attacking each person in. They are attacking the individual's identity. They don't know who they are. So they're they're being influenced. Which by the way, spiritual gods and goddesses, these fallen angels, demonic activity are influencers. They influence people uh to be attractive towards sin. Make it very because see they they claim it's love, but it's lust. love. You see, people um in a heterosexual um marriage still get divorced. Okay? Well, people in um man-on-m marriage or woman onwoman marriage also are getting divorced. So, what is the issue? It isn't that it's love. It's the heart of the individual and the identity of this individual. So, let's talk about the identity. So when God made us in his image, there was something that was very interesting that we need to think about here for a moment. And as a believer in Christ, we need to open our eyes up a little bit more to this. And this is neat revelation. My dad was sharing a bit of this with me um when we were at the Airbnb that we had to stay at for almost a week uh while we waited for this rental to get ready. But uh he was sharing the image of God in Adam and some teaching on this and I guess he taught this in Spanish. I don't know where it is and what the title the message is. So I'm building on that using that and going to be teaching on it and of course I don't have it the full way that he does. But here's what I do know. When Adam was created, he wasn't born. and he was created and he was created in God's image. What did Adam see when he looked at God? It's a good question. Did he see himself? You have to wonder about this because if we're made in his image, and I'm not saying that I'm God. Not saying that at all. But I am saying that there is a part of me that resembles God because in his image we resemble God. So he's a being, a man that has two legs, two arms, two eyes, hair, and he's spirit. Uh so you know, you got to sit here and you got to think about this and look at this wondering, you know, what did Adam see? Especially, you know, if he looked at himself in the reflection of a spring or a pond in that garden of Eden, I know rivers ran through there. Did he see himself or did he see God? Because see, God and Adam had a special bonding relationship which this is all before sin had came into existence. Adam and God had this beautiful relationship. That is love. By the way, love is Jesus Christ going to the cross and dying for you. Here's the interesting part. There are some people in this world who would die for their partner. But it's 98% certain that that partner would not reciprocate. So this is why it's not love, it's lust. So now what I want to do is I want to take you to that image and I want to take you to the relationship of God so that you can see what Paul was talking about when he talked about the hope of glory. So now let's go to Moses and see what relationship he had with God because his relationship also was to the point of let me see you. Let's go Exodus 33:18-23. And he said please show me your glory. Now the conversation that God and Moses has just been h handling or that they just had you know here's Moses talking about with God. Okay. Well, you did all this. Who are you? And and he's asking because see, when you become a believer in Christ, you one of the things that we shared while we were waiting in this Airbnb as we were just chatting there one evening sitting out on the front porch getting eaten by mosquitoes. Uh one of the things that we were all talking about was how the Lord spoke to us. It was interesting. It we all had similar stories. We had a question in our mind and we all wondered whether we should go ask somebody or or go look it up and figure out but we couldn't figure it out on our own. And eventually we kind of asked God, what is this? What did you mean about this? And here Moses is asking God, who are you? Show me your glory. We're going to get into the scripture. And as we were all sharing our little testimonies here about what that was. Within the next day, we had either turned on the radio, a preacher was teaching what we just questioned or we opened up the Bible and there's the answer we just questioned. Going to show how God was listening and that he is real and he's answering our questions. So here this this affected all of us in this point where we had this relationship with God that just transformed us in such a way that now that we had that experience we can't go back. We keep going forward. We go to God now. Amen. So let's read what Moses did because he just asked show me please show me your glory. So God says, then he says, "I will make all my goodness pass before you." Isn't that awesome? God is answering Moses because this is what God wants to do. But there there's a cautionary thing going on here. Watch this. I will make all my goodness pass before you and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. But he said, "You cannot see my face, for no man shall see me and live." And the Lord said, "Here is a place by me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be while my glory passes by that I will put you in the cliff of the rock and will cover you with my hand while I pass by. Then I will make then I will take away my hand and you shall see my back but my face shall not be seen. We're in sin. So our flesh cannot be in the presence of God. We cannot um see the face of God. But we know him. It's like our testimonies. We were able to ask a question. We were able to receive the answer. And we were able to go forward with that answer knowing God is real. Now here Moses had this special beautiful moment with God in which God says I will show you. I will pass all my goodness in front of you and I will declare the name of the Lord to you. This is what God did for Moses. Now let's stop for a minute and let's go back to the image of God. Now, what is an image? Have you ever looked in a mirror and saw yourself and saw something as a mirror image of yourself, a reflection? I, you know, in we're in a a duplex right now. My family is, my parents are in one of the houses and we share a wall and I'm in this, but the two homes are mirror images, but they're opposite. Kitchen's on the opposite of the house, bedrooms are on the opposite house. So imagine when God created Adam in his image, we were mirror image of God. So God sees himself in us which is his glory because we are his offspring. So now go to the reverse of that. When you see God, remember, you can't see him with your eyes. You can't see his face, but you know, you know that he's there and he's answering your questions. What do you see? You know, you have a knowledge that cannot be stopped or defeated by anyone. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. This is a mystery. This is a mystery. Look what Paul says. Colossians 1:27, "To them God w to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." What's hope? You see, even though I can't see his face and I now know he's there, I'm hoping and I know and I know and I know that when I get to heaven, I will see his face and the what I look like, I'm going to see that in him because the resemblance is there. He loved me so much that he made me a part of him and what he looks like. That my friend is the hope of glory. Oh hallelujah. Hallelujah Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And you know you will know this as you spend time with the Lord. I've been teaching on this for years now. Get into the secret place with the Lord. Get into the secret place with the Lord. Get into that relationship with the Lord. Start talking with him. You know, it it makes a huge difference when you have that talk with him. You know, because yeah, you get angry. There are things you don't understand. I get it. He gets it. So what you do is you just say, "Lord, I don't understand why is homosexuality a sin. Why when we need to love them?" Well, we do love them because Jesus said in John 3:16, "For God, him so loved the world." By the way, every person is made in his image. They're all a part of him, but they live in sin. Sin is what drove us away from him. But he's still there. But notice how he had to protect Moses by putting his hand over him so he wouldn't kill him. Well, then there you go. Now we are in a situation where God has to put a barrier over us. And there must have been some sort of barrier there to begin with because if Adam was flesh, even though he hadn't sinned, maybe the flesh was different during that time. I don't know. Well, I'm not an expert in that area, but I do know that God kept Adam safe. And when Adam sinned and he went, he still came and helped Adam and Eve as they established mankind. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Go on. Romans 5:1 and2. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. I want to stop there for just a moment. The hope of glory. Hope is seeing something that you cannot see physically yet. It's a hope. You hope someone would do the dishes. You hope someone would do the laundry. You hope that someone would be righteous enough to come lead this world. You know, there's a hope. You can't see it, but you're hoping for it. Well, faith is acting on that hope. Okay. Now that I'm hoping because I know that I have faith that I will be in the presence of God and that I will see his face. Maybe not in this flesh, but I will see him in eternity. Look what I get to have. Says we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. So even though I know that God is punishing those in sin, God is righteous. So he's going to punish those that refuse him. You know, I know a lot of people can't understand that. Oh, he's a loving, righteous, mighty God. Well, he is righteous. He is loving. But if you reject him, what else do you expect him to do? You know, sometimes you have to come to the realization that you're like this and he's like that. He's the creator. We're the created. And when you come into that humility, now you get to have this peace. So, even though he's punishing the world, like we're about to hit, we've had this beautiful cool weather in Southern California, Lake Elsar, and uh I'm now in Missouri and uh oh boy, we are hitting the 90s and going to hit the hundreds here very shortly and with some high humidity. Well, you know what I'm going to start doing? Because if I had a breakthrough in Southern California, we're going to have a breakthrough here. I've already started praying and I'm getting in here because we can have a breakthrough in the weather just like he did in Southern California. If he can do it there, he can do it here. So, we're definitely going to be praying and I welcome me, you know, or join me in uh getting uh prayer for your area, for your weather, because if you notice, things are getting worse, hotter, and hotter. It's a punishment for the land. But now, even though I know that punishment's going on, he comforts me. He provides what I need to remain cool. So those that reject him, they don't get that comfort. They don't get that. There is there is a distinction. So, you know, I beg you, you know, get humble before the Lord and talk with him. Find out who he is and have a relationship with him. Talk with him. Read his word. You know what? Again, I can't teach that enough. I've been teaching him for like three years now. Let's continue on in the scripture. We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Verse two, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. You know what is glory? When we use the word glory like in our current language, especially English language, we look at glory as, oh, uh, that person's earned it. He's done something so good. I give him the glory or the praise. Look at him. He did really good. He earned it. He He did what he was supposed to do. Well, that is God. And God has glory around him. But it is a physical thing. Let's continue on in scripture because I want to show you the glory in the temple here in just a moment. Ephesians 1:17 through18 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the the father of glory we or the father of glory may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. You see in that relationship that peace that he gives you you have a knowledge. Earlier I said I know that I know that I know that he's real. Not because I've seen him with my eyes, but because I've seen him move to answer the questions I've asked and I've gone to him. And when you do that, he answers. He's just waiting for you to come to him. And you're thinking, well, why doesn't he come to me? Why don't you repent, humble yourself, and then go to him, then he will come to you. He doesn't mix with sin. He has glory that around that surrounds him. That glory does not mix with sin. So you have to repent to remove the sin so you can come into his presence. That's how this works. Hallelujah. Verse 18. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know that that you may know what is the hope of his calling. What are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints? You see, you have an inheritance in him because you're his image. You are a child of the son of God. And because you are a child, you have the right to everything that he has and he wants to give it to you. Go back to the temple when the first temple of Solomon was built. He I don't have the scriptures here. You again, this is some homework for you. I'm trying to teach you how to get in the word of God and look this up. Get into the temple and go look go to uh Solomon. You can see that he built the first temple and the glory was so powerful that nobody could enter. Not even the priest. That was the glory of God inhabiting that temple. Well, the temple was destroyed and Israel went into captivity and it was rebuilt 70 years later. So, the children that saw the initial glory who now are seeing the second temple built wept. They sobbed because it was nothing compared to that first temple because it was substantial. The glory was physical. It was substantial. So when you hope for the glory, it needs to be a f physical substantial thing that comes out of you and surrounds you because you put God first in your life because you know that you know that you know that he is real and that you live for him and you choose to live for him. That is God. You are a child of the most high and have the right to the inheritance that he provides. Psalm 33. But you, oh Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. You see, let me give you a dose of reality. People out here that don't believe in God, they're walking dead. They're the walking dead. They're dead. They have no life in them. They deal with things that they can't shouldn't if they just simply repent. But go to Revelation. Read Revelation. What do these people do during that seven-year tribulation period? They start getting angrier and angrier with God. They don't repent. It's It's as if they want God to bless them for hating him. Who would ever do that? Who would ever I mean, if somebody's abusing you, you don't ask, you don't bless them for abusing you. That that that's wrong. But see that spirit of delusion that that it's a spiritual matter and you can't see, you can't hear, and you're having to deal with this. All you have to do though is repent. Jesus, I'm sorry. I messed up and I'm asking you to forgive me. Look at the guy on the cross with Jesus. He defended Jesus first because the other thief on the cross was blaspheing Jesus, kicking the man while he was down, hanging. Both of them were hanging on the cross. All three of them were. And he's still kicking him while he's down. And the other thief says, "What are you doing? Stop it. This guy's innocent. We're guilty." And because he acknowledged that he's guilty. He said to Jesus, "Remember me when you enter your kingdom." And Jesus says, "I promise you tonight we will be in paradise together." And that's Jesus forgive. He will forgive you of anything. And if you're one of those people who, well, I heard in the Bible that there is an unforgivable sin and that has to be me. No. Listen, an unforgivable sin just means when you die, that's it. Too late. So, in today's life, you need to repent. You need to be talking to God and you need to be saying, "Okay, Lord, I'm sorry. I messed up." Do it now. Do it while you still can. Because you know what? Repentance has an expiration date. When we enter into the seven-year tribulation period, which is coming up very quickly here, by the way, the body of Christ will not be there for it. So, the body of Christ will be removed. You as a repentter are part of the body of Christ. Repent. Now, if you choose to not call Jesus the son of God, that is on you and you have an issue. Jesus Christ is the son of God. Let go of whatever is holding you from saying that. Say it. Say it out loud. Jesus, you are the son of God. Today, you know, I wasn't sure I was going to teach a message today. I've got a cold sore in my lip. I've got bug bites all over me. Uh I was running a fever last night. Been sick as you can kind of hear a little bit of it. And uh fever broke in the middle of the night. Thank you, Jesus. Uh, you know, see, I'm I'm a believer, but I still deal with sickness. I still deal with things that are going on in this world. Well, Jesus, hallelujah. I just said, "Lord Jesus, I'm blessed." And do you know that after I said that, because at first I was very achy and sore when I got up this morning, and I thought, man, I can't move. I have an art. My lower back was really killing me. And then as soon as I said that, wow, I got up, got moved. I put some headphones on. I put some Christian music on. I let it refresh my soul and my spirit. And look, here I am teaching the word of God. Cuz see, this doesn't matter. I don't care what I look like. I don't You know what? I'm a child of the Most High and I'm in his image. And we're going to have good days and we're going to have bad days. But I just simply say the Lord bless me and he does. That is the hope of glory. Seeing that I can go to him in spite of whatever's going on in this world and I can let it go. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Look at Psalm eight. See, this is what I'm talking about. This is how God thinks of us. Psalm 83-5. When I consider your heavens, this is the author of the writer of Psalm. The work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you have ordained. He's talking to God. What is man that you are mindful of him and the son of man that you visit him. I mean, what are we? We are sinful creatures, but we're made in his image. We are his children and because of that we have the hope of glory and he thinks of us all the time mindful he's always he's so mindful he know he knows how much hair I have on my body and the son of man that you visit him verse five for you have made him a little lower than the angels and you have crowned him with glory Glory and honor. You see the hope of glory is the moment you say Lord Jesus you are the son of God and his glory surrounds you. And now when people see you they see God. They see the image of God in you because you're made in his image and you are a child of the most high and you have a hope that that glory can come out. All it takes is Lord Jesus I'm sorry you are the son of God. Look what John has to say about it. 1 John 3:1, "Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us." By the way, that's love. Because God knows because it's prophesied in Revelation that they're still going to reject him no matter what. And yet, he still made them in his image. He still loved them, knowing full well they would reject him. That's love, my friend. Not lust. Love uh has bestowed that we should be called Let's Let's read this verse again from the beginning. Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us that we should be called children of God. Therefore, the world does not know us, but it did not know him because it did not know him. Therefore, the world does not know us because it did not know him. You see, John is clearly identifying a distinguished uh line here between a believer and an unbeliever. For us who believe, we hope and we have that hope in the glory. But as an unbeliever, look at because it did not know him. They don't know him. As I shared earlier our testimony, if each individual, my family had an experience with God that we were able to question something and have that answer given to us. I mean, in a very relative short amount of time. Imagine now we know him and because we know him, we experience his love and his favor which places his glory around us. That is God. That is the hope of glory that I get to stand in, live in, and walk with in the name of Jesus. Oh, because he made me in his image so that when people look at me, they see his glory. Oh, hallelujah. Please put God first in your life. Please repent. Put him first. Speak with him and give him the glory. Amen. Let's close in a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the hope of your glory. We thank you for creating us in your image. We thank you for letting us be your children, that we have an inheritance. And Lord, I'm grateful that I chose you, not the world. And I pray that others choose you as well. And repent and give you the glory, honor, praise, and strength. Thank you, Father God. Jesus name. Amen. Well, I forgot my box of tissues, so I got to get off. I had to go get it. God bless you. I love you. Repent. Spend time with the Lord. Spend time in the word of God. And uh I should be getting more messages out to you uh in a relatively quicker time than before. I currently don't have a job, so I'll be doing this a lot more, giving God the glory. I love you. I'll see you in the next message. Bye. Previous Next Home

HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS The objective of this message is to teach believers the difference between human works of righteousness and God’s true righteousness that is imputed through faith in Jesus Christ. Lisa emphasizes that salvation and protection do not come from outward deeds or religious observance, but from acknowledging sin, accepting God’s gift of grace, and living in continual relationship with Him. The message aims to encourage believers to seek God’s presence, walk in His righteousness, and understand the blessings, protection, and eternal life that flow from that relationship. < Back HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS Minister Lisa Kane October 12, 2025 Objective: The objective of this message is to teach believers the difference between human works of righteousness and God’s true righteousness that is imputed through faith in Jesus Christ. Synopsis: In this teaching, Lisa explores the meaning of God’s righteousness as revealed in Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper… their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord.” She explains that it is God who calls us righteous, not our works or religious practices. By walking in His righteousness, believers gain protection, peace, and security—even in the midst of affliction, oppression, and end-time calamities. Lisa unpacks Isaiah 54:11–17, showing how God transforms affliction into blessing by building His people on foundations of precious stones and promising peace for their children, both natural and spiritual. She stresses the generational impact of righteousness and warns that sin can also pass down consequences. Drawing from Ezekiel and Romans, she highlights that human righteousness cannot deliver us, but God’s righteousness—received through repentance and faith in Christ—brings life and transformation. Throughout the message, Lisa ties in spiritual warfare, end-time warnings, and the necessity of intimacy with God. She reminds listeners that salvation is a gift, not earned by works, and that only by pressing into God’s presence, seeking His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33), and acknowledging Christ as Savior can believers live free from fear and condemnation. The teaching concludes by urging listeners to examine whether they are relying on their own works or truly resting in His righteousness, which alone secures eternal life and victory over the enemy. Inspired Teaching: Hello and welcome to the House of Faith Ministries. I'm Lisa Kane. I'm recording this on Saturday, August 12th, 2023. Welcome. This message is called His Righteousness. Oh, you're going to love this message. This is a powerful word. Let's open up a word of prayer. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your blessing. We thank you for your anointing. We thank you for your presence. open our ears, open our eyes, open our hearts, and open our minds to see, hear, believe, and apply, live your word, Father God, because when we see and believe, or when we see and hear, we believe. So, thank you for your word, and thank you for showing us your righteousness, so we have something to walk by and stand by in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Amen. Ah, amen. Amen. Let's go to our opening scripture. Okay. his righteousness. Opening scripture, Isaiah 54:17. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. Look at the capital Y there. It's talking about God will condemn it. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me, says the Lord. He's going to call you righteous. He's the one who determines whether you're righteous or not. Oh, so this is such a good message. We're going to start though. I want to we're going to dig into the scripture here in a little bit more, but that's what we're going to get to. But I want to take this into context and I want to show you starting at verse 11. So, let's go there real quick. Says, "Oh, you afflicted one." So, we're still in Isaiah 54. We're in verse 11. Oh, you afflicted one. Pause. Have you been tormented? Have you been suffering? And even as a believer, so a non-believer or a believer, if you've been afflicted now, when you have the righteousness of God, because you become a believer, he's going to show you what he's going to do for you. If you are an unbeliever and you've been afflicted and for many times, you haven't been. But I'm going tell you right now, we're entering a time where now this is being allowed. We'll get into this more in as we get along this scripture here. But oh you afflicted one, if if you're suffering stuff in your mind, you you can't sleep. Look at what it says here. Uh tossed with tempest and not comforted. You know, for many many years, I would see the vision of a tempest, a whirlwind, always praise and worship at church, whatever. You know, I would see it and I would wonder, you know, but I never took the initiative to go look it up. And until I took my life to the next level and built my relationship with the Lord because I wanted to make sure he knew my name. I wanted him to know me and then I wanted to know him. Once I took that step and I I it's a like living for the Lord. I chose to finally live for the Lord, not just be saved and wander, you know, go to church on Sundays, live for Christ on Sunday, be all good about it, and then go home s uh Monday through Saturday going living for whatever life. You see, once I made that transition, a change took place and this is it. Oh, you afflicted one tossed with tempest and not comforted. I stopped seeing those visions of whirlwinds. And I'm telling you that it was from the Lord. He he he was showing me this this whole time and I wasn't paying attention. So I hope you pay attention. Learn from my mistakes, will you? Okay. So says toss with tempest and not comfort it. Not comforted just means you can't sleep. You can't get comfortable in your bed. Everything is just not right. You are afflicted. Look what he says. Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems and lay your foundations with sapphires. I will make your pinnacles of rubies, your gates of crystal, and all your walls of precious stones. Let's talk about stones. That's a foundation or that is your wall. When um in California they build with wood and drywall and uh insulation. Well, where we are in Missouri and further east you go, they build with brick. But the stone and and stone might see u like castles build with stones. Well, God is saying if you're afflicted, he's saying, "I'm going to take those stones and I'm going to make them special stones, colorful stones, and they're going to be sapphires, rubies, crystal." And these are stones that are precious. They are stones that are hard, and they are your foundation. And it protects you. It's your hedge of protection. Now look what he also says. So he's got now he's putting a in other words if you trust in him that your walls of crystal are in place. You can lay your head at night knowing nothing is going to come against you. You get that? This is powerful. Now he says in verse 13, all your children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be the peace of your children. Oh now let's look at that in depth. And this is not just children biological. This is spiritual children. You've built a relationship. You've adopted kids. So when you are in his rightness, he put his righteousness in you because you chose to seek ye first the kingdom of God. We're going to get into that. When you choose to do that, your offspring is going to be taught by the Lord. Why? Because they're seeing you. They're asking you, and you're making an impact on their lives. And he says he's teaching them because it's now connecting in their brain and heart because don't let my words uh be confirmed with you. You need to be confirming the word of God in this message, which is what we're looking at. We're taking his scriptures and we're applying it here. But the children will see this and then look and great shall be the peace of your children. Even now as I'm teaching you this, your child here, you look at I got to read it again because this is powerful. And great shall be the peace of your children. You see, it goes from generation to generation. If you ask yourself, why do bad things happen? Especially to kids, it is because your sin affects the kids. Your righteous, his righteousness in you. Your action of going in the secret place with the Lord dwelling in there, pressing into him passes down to your children. Your sin passes down to your children. But he says they will be at peace. Great will be their peace. You guys, you guys got to grasp this. Do you see how important it is? If you don't want bad things to be happening in this world, you need to press in. I can't stress that enough. I know sometimes you I've been reading Isaiah. I know there are things in there I don't understand. I was talking to my dad about that last night. I don't understand. But that's okay because I still am talking with God. And you know what? He will reveal the scriptures when you let him. But you can't know them until you get into them. So this is why you have to put that time aside. You have to open it up. You have to look at things you don't even understand. Which means you need to read the book of Revelation. You need to book read the book of Genesis. The most two attack books in the Bible. You need to read them. You may not understand them. You may not even believe them. But go with God. He says, "Come, let us reason together." Isaiah 1:18. You get into his presence and he will be there. That is a blessing for your children. If you're not doing that, they got a curse of your sin on them. And then you wonder why they're getting cancer and what have you. What is cancer? Canc you know what the consequence of cancer the the main priority of cancer. There are different versions of it, different types, but most of it comes from bitterness, unforgiveness. But if you're in the presence of the Lord, you're letting it all go. Cast your cares upon the Lord. Amen. Let's continue on. Verse 14. in righteousness you shall be established. Now remember our opening scripture, it was his righteousness. So but our act of going and we're coming into unity with the Lord and then he places he calls us righteous. He says we're righteous even though you know I'm still flesh. I'm messed up. I'm guilty. I'm a sinner. You're by the way. Everybody has sinned. Everyone has fallen short of the glory of God except Jesus. Which means we have to go to him to get our part in so that we so someone like me who has sinned can actually teach the word of God. Guess what? Someone like you who has sinned can actually understand the word of God if you take that step and you get into there. Oh, this is powerful. Look it. You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Okay, now we know that we are entering the end times here. I was about to try to teach on end times because there's a lot of going on with the peace treaty and the rapture and this is all flooding the internet right now. And uh I was going to do that and I was praying, I was studying. I couldn't get this, you know, I've taught on end times before. So, it's not that I didn't understand or anything. It's just I wasn't being released to teach that. Closed the computer. I went to put my headphones on, put some Christian music on, spent time with the Lord, praising him and glorifying him. Took it off, came back to the computer, and then this scripture popped in my head. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. And I said, "Okay, Lord, here we go." And as I started digging into it, but watch this. He says, "You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear and from terror, for it shall not come near you." Why? Take a look at the terror that is going on in the world now. The volcanoes erupting, all the earthquakes, we still have all that going on. You see all the fires. I mean, Lahani is wiped out in Maui over there. There it's gone. An entire city gone. Town city is gone. So now in Greece, the same thing. You have to ask yourself, why did that happen to them? If you go read Abraham when he had his three visitors and they were going to go over to Sodom and Gomorrah, judge Sodom and Gomorrah and then rescue Lot. Abraham, he's like, "Wait, wait, wait." He says, "If there's 50 righteous, would you still do it?" They said, "No, 30, 20, and 10." They said, "No." But there was a level there. So righteousness drops from these areas and when it does you become oppressed and afflicted. But when you come into his presence there's a big difference. Let's continue on here. This is very powerful. Indeed they shall surely assemble but not because of me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. Okay, now I really want you to see this. Okay, so here we are in this end times. So the demonic forces are out in force and they have permission by God to do certain things. So if you go to Isaiah 45:7, he says, "I formed the light. I create darkness. I cause all calamity." So God is saying this to King Cyrus 400 years in advance. Well, that is telling us that all the demons have to do what God says. But look at what this scripture says. Indeed, they shall surely assemble, but not because of me. In other words, they're not doing what God told them to do. How many of you get attacked knowing you are following the Lord, living in the secret place? I just got sick when we got out here. And I'm thinking, Lord, what happened? I see the answer right here in front of me. They assembled, but not because of him. They were going against his permission. Now look at what he says. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. I'm going tell you right now, that sickness was gone. I had to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I had to wait for it. But that weapon did not prosper. It fell for me. Because see, I'm the one in obedience with God. I'm the one in see uh dwelling in his secret place. And yet the demons who are supposed to follow God and do what he says stepped out of line. They fell because of it. Oh, now we're beginning to see what's going on because see this is also in addition to the spiritual warfare series I've taught a couple years ago that you can go look at in our website. I am telling you that God has a purpose. He has a plan. He blesses whom he wants to. He has mercy on whom he wants to. He hardens whom he wants to. And then he curses whom he needs to. And a lot of the times, see, we're not fighting the devil anymore. They were already defeated. What we're fighting sometimes, we're fighting God because he's trying to get your attention because you're not spending time with him. He is trying to get your attention. Listen, I need you to come to me because I'm going to make you safe. But you're going to be dealing with these issues until you get there. And then when you're dealing with other issues that aren't from me, they will not live. They'll fall. They'll fall apart. They'll be gone. That is what's so powerful here. Look at now continue on. He says, this is verse 16. Behold, I, this is God talking, have created the blacksmith who blows the coals in the fire, who brings forth an instrument or a weapon for his work. And I have created the spoiler or the waster to destroy. You see, God will destroy what he wants to destroy. He's the one who created this. This is why now we have to find out what his righteousness is about because, you know, everyone talks about, "Oh, he's loving, he's merciful, but he's a judger, too, and he is a destroyer. He can curse." This is why it's so important for us to come into his presence to find out who he is and then to make sure he knows who we are. Are you telling him you're a sinner? Are you telling him you're messed up? Are you telling him you ask him for forgiveness? Or are you telling him, "H, I think you're good. You just live your life. Leave me alone." Well, then he's sending you an instrument, a a weapon for his work. You know, this is uh any type of your righteousness that you do because that's a lowercase H there. So, behold, I've created the blacksmith who blows the coals in the fire. Look at how many fires we have going on right now. You know, when you looked at the Canadian one and they showed the satellite image and all those fires, it was hundreds of they all started at the same time, but they were all over the different places and then they converged into one. And and you look at that going, that had to be spiritual. I mean, unless you had a hundred something people together in agreement lighting a fire. Can that be done? Yes. But it is highly improbable. I mean, unless God did it that way, too. Who knows? But God was doing this. So, he's the one who says, "Who blows the coals in the fire, who brings forth a weapon for his work, and I created the waster to destroy." So, this is God's God is in control of everything. So, you have to acknowledge you're guilty of your sin. Remember the thief on the cross. He did that. Now having that background and and understanding what leads to this verse, now look at verse 17. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Let's stop there. That word prosper is be fruitful and multiply. Meaning you're still going to get hit with that uh weapon. You're still going to be hit and afflicted, but it won't keep going. It won't perpetuate. When I got sick, it took a while. Took three, four weeks. But it's gone and it didn't prosper. Because I was out of alignment and because it was his righteous. He calls me righteous. Why? Because I have a relationship with him. He called Abraham righteous because he believed it. it. Go read Hebrews 11. That awesome chapter says, "And every tongue which rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn." You see, God knows everything. He's going to condemn all those people that are saying evil things about you. How many people don't like my teaching and they say something and curse me? I did this. I went through. I did it, too. But God condemned. You shall condemn. God shall condemn. He Jesus is condemning it because it it's his judgment, not mine, not yours. He has given the ability for us to judge. But then what do we do with it? You need to speak blessings. You know, it's like praying for your neighborhood. You know, God, these thieves are all around me. They're stealing. Get rid of them. I curse them. I You know what? No. But if you bless them, say, "Lord, I bless them financially." Guess what? If they have everything they need, they ain't going to be stealing anymore. Do you see the difference? Now, look at this. Every tongue which rises against you in judgment. You shall condemn him. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is for me, says the Lord. It was nothing I did other than I said, "I'm sorry because I messed up." and I built a relationship with him. That's all I did. That's it. And I'm not boasting on that because it had to be his choice to choose whether I'm righteous or not. I hope you guys get that because no matter how many church attendants you go to and you went Sunday by Sunday by Sunday, eventually you will fall and you won't make it. So, you can't boast in that. And church attendance isn't what's going to save you. It's the fact that you're a sinner that you said to Jesus, I am so sorry I messed up. And then he starts to work in him. You become his workmanship and you he begins to change you from the inside, transform you and get you ready. But in the meantime, he's called you righteous. And now he says, "I've got you shielded in stones of precious colors." Let's go to Ezekiel now. I want you to see this. Look at this. This is talking about a a wicked man and a righteous man and their actions and their consequences. Look at this 21. But if a wicked man turns from all his sins, which he has committed, by the way, that would be me. That would be you. We all acknowledge that we sinned, but we've turned our lives around. I don't want to sin anymore. I don't want to do those. I don't want to practice sexual immorality. I don't want to practice witchcraft. I don't want to gossip. I don't want to judge. I don't want to use the name the God's name in vain. I want my life to be different. Says, look at this. This is if you're that wicked man that turns from all his sins which he has committed. You keep all my statutes and does what is lawful and right. He shall surely live. He shall not die. You wonder why some kids die. Again, the consequence from of sin for the parents goes to the kids. So you to make your kids live longer, to make your lives live longer, you need to repent and turn around. And if you're thinking, well, what kind of God does that? He's the one who created this world. Who do you think you are to question his rules? He's trying to make you right. And all you're saying is, "I want my sin approved." Well, I'm telling you, it will not be approved. He will not bless you, nor will I. I'm in his righteousness now. I will not bless your sin. You want to live in sin, that's between you and God. But I'm praying for you. I pray for unbelievers every night in my prayers. Now look at verse 22. None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him because of the righteousness which he has done. He shall live. Now see there's a difference in this righteousness and is something you do. Now this this is an action you take. You see, you have God's righteousness that's in you and then you have your righteousness. You have to purpose in your heart that I'm going to put the Lord first. Seek ye first the kingdom of God. We're going to get to that. You have to take the action of I want to repent. I want to change. Oh, how powerful that is. And when you do, you shall live. That is a blessing. You have a long life to live. And I'm going to tell you right now, even though we're in the end times and it's all about to come to end, you go in the rapture, your life still goes on. You're still living that eternity. You will live. How many people are going to go to hell, wake up in hell, living in hell for an eternity. That's horrible. You don't want to do that. You're a sinner. Just acknowledge it. You messed up. And the one, there's only one way. He is the way, the truth, and the life. And it's by him that you're going to get to the father. And let me make that clear so you understand it in the correct analogy because that peace treaty with the pope and the uh the Muslims or uh Islam for Allah, they come into agreement because they're saying all ways get to God. No, no, no. All the ways don't get to God. If I live in Los Angeles and you live in San Diego and I give you directions to my house, but you go and head toward Mexico, will you ever get to my house? No, you're on the wrong path. So, don't fall for that line about all ways get to God because they don't. Let's continue now in Ezekiel. Now, we're in chapter 33 verse 12 and 13. Now, look at this. It says verse 12, "Therefore you, oh son of man, say to the children of your people, the righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression." When you go to live for Christ, but you didn't get saved first because you didn't acknowledge your sin. You just simply go to church. You simply go feed the homeless. You you cast out demons in his name. Jesus says, "I never knew you. that good thing. It's a good thing, but it's not going to uh deliver you from your transgression. It's not going to do that. Let me read that again. I want you to see this. Therefore, you, oh son of man, say to the children of your people, the righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression. This is why I'm teaching this message, and I call it his righteousness. He has to call you righteous, which the first thing you have to do is acknowledge you've sinned and you've fallen short of the glory of God. You messed up. Then you can choose to press in and get to know him and what you do in secret is exposed. He says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God." That's the clincher here. Then go do all those good things. But if you're doing those good things without doing this, read it again. The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of transgression. Look at this. As for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness. Nor shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness, lowercase, in the day that he sins. If you think going to church is making you good and you miss one service for whatever reason, no gas, uh, someone died in the household or you just couldn't make it that day because you were sick, you had spent a lot of time in the bathroom, whatever the case may be, you missed it. Guess what? You fell into sin again. You sinned because you established that as your right standing with God. He's going to show you you're going to fall every single time, which is what the law tells us. This is what the ten commandments tells us. Now look at verse 13. He says, "When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, remember this is now Isaiah going back, you shall surely live." And that first part that the first part of Ezekiel that we read, he says, "But he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity because now you're depending on your own righteousness, but you sin again." He's reiterating this. None of his righteous works shall be remembered. God isn't going to count and remember how many times you went to church. God isn't going to count how many times that uh you helped at the soup kitchen. He not going to tell you that. He's not going to remember any of that. Excuse me. Why? Because it's your righteousness, not his. And if you are depending on that to clear you of your sins, guess what? It ain't going to happen. The only way to God is through Jesus. And the only way to do that is to acknowledge him that he is innocent because he per he was perfect. He took on sin and he passed the test. We all failed. We're guilty. We've lost. We were born into sin and there was nothing we can do about it. There's nothing. You just got to confess him as Romans 10:9 says, and look at this. But because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die. Then you wonder why. Why do good people die? Hey, you don't know what's inside their heart, but God knows. And he knows not only what's inside their heart and what they're dealing with, but he knows whether they have believed in him or they're depending on their righteousness. I, you know, I had a coworker who saw what I was doing and all he says is I need to do good things. I'm thinking you need to confess Jesus is Lord. That you know Romans 10:9 that if you confess Jesus is Lord. You that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God is raised from the dead you will be saved. Look at what the thief on the cross did. He told the other thief, "Hey, he's innocent. We're guilty." He acknowledged his guilt. And then he looked to Jesus says, "Remember we me when you enter your kingdom." And Jesus said, "Today I promise you, you will be with me in paradise." That's in Luke 20, I think it is. I've been teaching on that now for several weeks. Get in there and read the scriptures. Romans 6:16 through8. Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves when you obey, whether of sin leading to death or of obedience leading to righteousness. So whichever life you live, you got to lay the foundation first with his salvation. Remember salvation is from the Lord too. Let his salvation, his righteousness come in you. The only way you're going to get it is when you press in and you come into him. But see, when you're not doing that, you are obeying to the slaves of the world and you're following the world's concept here. Now, look at this. But, uh, verse 17, but God be thank though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. You see, you have to be set free from sin first and then you become a slave to rightness. You be you want to come into the presence of the Lord. You want that rightness. You actually took your whole body and you brought it under self-control under the gift of the Holy Spirit and you said, "No, Lord, I'm putting you first. I am not following this world." Let's continue on here. Now, we're in verse 20. We're going to skip 19. Verse 20. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. Look at that. You were free. You, In other words, you weren't bound to righteousness when you were a sinner. In other words, if you were in a Gucci store, you saw a purse or something there and you decided to steal it because you didn't have any righteousness in you. Look at the state of California right now. You can steal up to $950 and nobody can do anything. And in fact, if they try to stop you, they're the ones that are going to get arrested and prosecuted. Talk about backwards, right? So, look at this. Verse 21. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? You see, when you were living in the world and you weren't righteous, you did things. You sinned. And by the way, it doesn't matter your lifestyle how you live. You still lied. You still cheated. You still stole. you, me are were sinners that needed to repent. And now we can be a slave to righteousness. Now we can live for Christ. Now we can commit to him. And we come to realize that one day a week in church isn't it. We go there now to minister. We go there to pray. We pray for people. But the six days, we're spending time in the word and we're spending time in his presence, praising him and praying for that upcoming service and asking the anointing of the Holy Spirit, asking for the spirit of healing to be there because now we're living right with Christ because we're being obedient to his righteousness. He called us righteous because now the blood of Jesus covers us. says, "Now verse 22, but now having been set free from sin and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness and the end everlasting life." See, now you get to live eternally, not by the works because you would boast otherwise, but by God who calls you righteous because you put his son first. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And then look at verse 23. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of life is eternal life in Christ Jesus. So every time you enter sin, you're dying. Aging. When Adam and Eve sinned, he died 930 years later. Death, a form of death is aging. And he aged to 930 years and he died. every one of us. This is a this is a way to see that we're all in death, that we've all sinned, and that we've all fallen short of short of the glory of God. It's because we're sinning, aging, and as long as we keep aging, we're dying. But look at the second part of that. But the gift of God. Gift. We can't boast about a gift other than, you know, I went and got my pardon from the remission of sins. Did you? Oh, good. There's no boasting there. You just went and got your gift. But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Living for Christ and living in his goodness here in the flesh is our first steps toward eternal life. We're going to be living eternally with the Lord. And what happens is we die to the world. We're we're no longer in sin. We we've left that domain. This world has nothing to offer me. I don't want anything other than I want to see you saved. And I'm appointed with Christ in the heavenly places for his will, which is to save you, which is why I do this. I do this because he called me righteous. Otherwise, I'm a sinner. I was a sinner just like you. But thank God, he changed me and transformed me. And why? Why the whole thing matters comes down the whole of this matter eternal life everything comes to this scripture right here Matthew 6:33 but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you those crystal gems the stones around you the authority to see and know that even though we're afflicted and oppressed that it doesn't prosper that there is no weapon formed against us, not even the ones from God. I mean, he can take us out if he wants to anytime he wants to. But he says you're righteous because you believe that Jesus is the son of God. You believe my son. This is what God is saying. So, I'm I'm trying to do a distinction here between the works that you can boast in and the foundation of salvation and then the works of his righteousness in you. And I promise you this, when you're in his righteousness, you teach on the spirit of love, not the spirit of fear. You know, we are not called to teach on a spirit of fear or to live in a spirit of fear, but of love and of a sound mind. A sound mind is when you realize the truth of the matter. You realize that Jesus is the son of God. You acknowledge that you messed up. And once the salvation is established, oh now you know in fact if you look at how Jesus did, he was water baptized. So your salvation doesn't require water baptism. But Jesus when he was water baptized went into the wilderness and dealt with the devil. He went through 40 days, 40 nights dealing with temptation and overcoming the devil. So that means if you look at what water baptism is, you are saying I choose his righteousness. I go down and I come up washed of my sins now. And when I come up, his seed is firmly rooted in me. And what happens now is you are eligible to go into ministry. So you can go into the wilderness. Paul, even though he knew the scriptures, he was Saul on the road to Damascus and Jesus touched him, changed his life and he got his sight back three days later, he went into the wilderness for three years to understand what was going on here because he needed that before he can teach us. So now, when you get into that right standing with God, there's a time of a root that needs to take place. you need to get rooted and then you get water baptized and you're ready. But you have to go after the enemy when you get rooted uh when you get water baptized and you deal with the enemy and once the enemy is dealt with now you walk in his ministry. Now you see the church doesn't teach a lot about that but that is scripture. That is how it happened with Jesus. That is how it happened with Paul. So now what happens though is because you are spending time getting rooted, getting into your new routine with the Lord. And again, this is where I'm coming from. I finally chose to press in, not be one foot in, one foot out, and be lukewarm, which God will spit you out if you are. I never knew. You remember this these scriptures, you will understand that you put both your feet in. Now you're in ministry and now you are in the rightness of God, his righteousness. Because now he can call you righteou Previous Next Home

ACQUITTED To demonstrate how the prophecy in Joel 3 concerning Israel’s acquittal from the guilt of bloodshed relates to present-day events in Jerusalem, revealing the spiritual dimension behind acts of violence against the Jewish people, and pointing to God’s promised intervention and the imminent restoration of Israel as a sign of the nearing end of the church age. ACQUITTED Pastor Marcos Marrero Objective: To demonstrate how the prophecy in Joel 3 concerning Israel’s acquittal from the guilt of bloodshed relates to present-day events in Jerusalem, revealing the spiritual dimension behind acts of violence against the Jewish people, and pointing to God’s promised intervention and the imminent restoration of Israel as a sign of the nearing end of the church age. Synopsis: Joel 3:21 points to God’s promise to acquit Israel of bloodshed, a prophecy that connects directly to modern violence against the Jewish people. Unlike past conflicts, today’s attacks bear the mark of demonic hatred rather than mere human leadership. Scripture shows that while Israel once bore the curse of rejecting Christ, God will soon remove their guilt, restore their nation, and bring global judgment on those who rise against them. These unfolding events signal the nearness of Christ’s return and call believers to be watchful and prepared. Inspired Teaching: Joel 3:21 “For I will acquit them of the guilt of bloodshed, whom I had not acquitted; for the Lord dwells in Zion.” If you’ve been watching the news and keeping track of what is going on in the holy city of Jerusalem, you have probably sensed that the Jewish nation is entering a new phase—maybe a new and final phase—in their struggles against their enemies who want to destroy them. What caught my attention on the attack against a Jewish synagogue in Jerusalem that killed five individuals and wounded many others was the amount of blood that was shed by those who were wounded and killed. Profuse bleeding was caused since some of the weapons that were used against them were hatches, which can be used for the dismembering of physical bodies. In their many campaigns against Israel, the Palestinians have used a variety of tactics, from kidnappings, to suicide bombers, to rockets and mortar launchers against their civilian population. What makes this phase different, I think, is that in all the other campaigns against them, there was organized human leadership behind them. I believe that what is taking place right now is its being fomented by spiritual forces of darkness, which are driven by pure and unadulterated hatred against the Jews in the nation of Israel. In case you have not watched the news, Jews are being run down in the streets by seemly random acts of violence, by cars, buses, and other modes of transportation driven by Palestinians that just seemed to lose their common sense and went on a killing rampage. This last attack was aimed directly at a place of worship and against those who were leading the worship, and I believe the phase of this present conflict to be completely driven by satanic inspiration. Joel 3:4 “Indeed, what have you to do with Me, O Tyre and Sidon, and all the coasts of Philistia? Will you retaliate against Me? But if you retaliated against Me, swiftly and speedily I will return your retaliation upon your own head.” I believe that the Lord is speaking against the spiritual rulers of the Palestinian territory in verse four. You have to remember that in spiritual warfare, people are like pieces on a board game that the rulers of darkness move at will and to accomplish their devious purpose. By careful observation we can detect when human leaders are acting in an alliance with demonic forces to accomplish their physical objectives. That does not seem to be the case in this new phase of terror that is being unleash against the nation of Israel, and it has Israel’s leaders very worried. The reason I said that this may be the final phase of this present conflict before the Lord intervenes is because of God’s response to these demonic entities in verse four, that He will swiftly and speedily turn their retaliation against their own heads. How do I know that what is taking place in the book of Joel chapter three has anything to do with Israel’s present situation? Joel 3:1 “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem.” In those days and at that time, it cannot be any clearer than that! When did God bring back the captives to Judah and Jerusalem? Today, in our present day! For how long were they not a nation anymore? For almost two thousand years! The only time that this specific prophecy can be fixed to a date is in our present today. And from our opening text we can safely conclude that both, the church and the nation of Israel are present during the happenings of in those days and at that time. For I will acquit them of the guilt of bloodshed, whom I had not acquitted; for the Lord dwells in Zion. Even though the early church was comprised of a super majority of Jews, both in numbers and in leadership, the nation of Israel herself rejected Jesus as her Messiah, so that her sins were not atoned for with the blood of Jesus at that time, and that is why their temple was destroyed and their nation ceased to exist. Matthew 27:24-25 “When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude (the nation of Israel), saying, ‘I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it.’ And all the people answered and said, ‘His blood be on us and on our children.’” It is clear that the multitude which was represented by the rulers and the leaders of the nation of Israel, refused to acknowledge Jesus as their Messiah, and as one, they uttered those infamous words that cursed them with the curse of blood shedding—the shedding of their blood as well as their children's own blood. This is what I was reminded of when I saw the bloody mess all over their synagogue floor after that brutal attack. But the good news is that God Himself says that He will acquit them, the entire nation of Israel, from that awful guilt of bloodshed that their forefathers swore in an oath before Pilate. And that the acquittal will take place swiftly and speedily after these demonic entities take it upon themselves to brutally and sadistically murder Jews as an act of retaliation against God Himself. This could be one of the greatest signs that Jesus is coming soon, that we have had for a while. So keep an eye on these demonically driven acts of violence against the Jews to see whether they rise to a level of intensity to where God Himself will intervene on their behalf. What are the events that we should look for if God Himself were to intervene on Israel’s behalf at this time? Joel 3:2 “I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land.” Through all of this we cannot ignore the connection that such an event will have upon the closing of the church age, for as soon as the nation of Israel is acquitted from the guilt of bloodshed, their kingdom will be restored, which means the closing of the church age with the rapture. Acts 1:6 “Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, ‘Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom of Israel?’” The disciples clearly believed and were looking for the restoration of national Israel at that time and asked Jesus about it. Jesus did not deny nor rebuked their belief that national Israel would be restored in the future. He just told them that it was not for them to know the times and seasons which the Father has put in place, before He brings about the acquittal and restoration of the nation of Israel. Days later, after their meeting with Jesus, the disciples were gathered in Jerusalem together, waiting for the power to fall down from heaven upon them as Jesus told them it would. After the Holy Spirit fell on them, Peter stood up and quoted Joel’s prophecy that clearly ties the fate of the end of the church age with the restoration of national Israel. Joel 2:28-32 “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. (The first part of this prophecy was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost after the Holy Spirit fell on them.) And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance (Acquittal), as the Lord has said, among the remnant (those who return from the dispersion) whom the Lord calls.” (The second part of this prophecy will be fulfilled on the Day of Atonement, during the Lord’s acquittal of the nation of Israel when their kingdom is restored to them.) You can see how intricately connected everything is to all that is taking place in and around the nation of Israel today. Wherever you look in the news today, you cannot escape how all the players are lining up and assuming their prophetic end-time positions. Joel 3:9 “Proclaim this among the nations: ‘Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, let them come up.’” The other unnatural part of what is going on today in the Middle East has to do with the men of war from the nations of the world who are answering the spiritual call to present themselves into that area of the world to fight a war of which they have no concept of, or part of it. These Jihadists, or holy warriors, come from many nations of the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, as well as many other nations that are in different continents. Many of these recruits have no commonality that bond them, except one, they are answering a spiritual call to prepare for war and to draw near to a place the Lord calls the Valley of Jehoshaphat, where the Lord will enter into judgment with them there on account of His people. It always amazes me how the complex issues that befuddle so many who try to interpret the motives behind the irrational acts of so many can only be truly interpreted through the enlightenment of Scripture. As the acquittal of those whom the Lord had not previously acquitted draws near, so does our redemption. Are you ready? Previous Next Home

LOST and FOUND To reveal the priceless value of salvation through Jesus Christ by examining the parables of what is found for the first time and what is lost and diligently sought again, leading believers to a deeper understanding of repentance, transformation, and the fruit that confirms a genuine relationship with God. < Back LOST and FOUND Minister Lisa Kane January 9, 2026 Objective: To reveal the priceless value of salvation through Jesus Christ by examining the parables of what is found for the first time and what is lost and diligently sought again, leading believers to a deeper understanding of repentance, transformation, and the fruit that confirms a genuine relationship with God. Synopsis: In Lost and Found, we explore two powerful teachings of Jesus that unveil fresh revelation about salvation and its value. The parable of the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price reveals the joy and life-altering response of one who finds salvation—a gift so priceless that nothing compares. In contrast, the parable of the lost coin illustrates a believer who once possessed something of great value, recognized it was missing, and took intentional action to seek until it was restored. Together, these parables address the often-debated question of salvation—whether it can be lost or is eternally secure—by shifting the focus from theological arguments to the heart posture of the believer. Salvation is not proven by outward actions or religious performance, but by a transformed heart rooted in love, repentance, and the fruit of the Spirit. Through Scripture, we are reminded that true salvation results in change, produces fruit, and is safeguarded by Christ Himself, who promised He would not lose even one. This teaching encourages believers to understand the immeasurable worth of God’s free gift, to guard it with intentionality, and to seek Him wholeheartedly whenever distance is felt. Lost and Found calls us to pray, to walk in sanctification, and to live with gratitude for the treasure of salvation—once discovered, never taken lightly, and always worth pursuing with all our heart. Inspired Teaching: There are three parables in the Bible that I see a new fresh revelation in them. The first parable is regarding the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 13:44-46 NKJV 44 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. 45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. The second parable is losing something and finding it later. This concept also applies to a shepherd losing one sheep and goes after that one sheep leaving the 99 behind. And it also applies to the prodigal son. All found in Luke 15. For this teaching, we will use the lost coin and finding it later after seeking it parable. Luke 15:8-10 NKJV 8 “Or what woman, having ten silver [c]coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ 10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” In the first parable, where the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field that is found, is ‘salvation. Someone found something they didn’t have before and it’s priceless. Salvation is priceless and it is a gift from God. When a person finds salvation, they find a true treasure and they never want to give up that treasure. In fact, they usually make changes, such as selling all he has and buying that field, as the parable put it so eloquently. In the second parable, the woman had ten silver coins, and they have value to them. Note, she already has them. It’s not something she found. She can represent a Christian who lost something of value that he or she had. Notice what she does, she lost it and noticed she lost it. She took the initiative to find and it took some effort. She needed light, and she moved everything in her house, swept the house, found this value. She sought the Lord. She, a Christian representation ‘sought’ the Lord, and she found Him again. There are big theological debates in today’s Christian world that say you can lose your salvation versus once saved, always saved. The above parables talk about this topic and present it very simply. You have someone who found salvation, and their life changed. You have someone who lost something of value, and changed their life to find it again. Both deal with salvation. One who didn’t know, and one who knew the worth but lost it somehow. Notice, we don’t know how the coin was lost. Isn’t that the way with anything? We don’t know how the other sock went missing but it happens. But here’s the thing, when we know it’s valuable, we take care of it and place in a position in our life so that we know where it is and that it is safe. This comes down to having knowledge of the value of salvation. Not all know the value of salvation. Romans 6:23 NKJV 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the [a]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 5:6-9 NKJV 6 For when we were still without strength, [d]in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Once we understand the knowledge of His free gift, we walk in sanctification, saved, and then in justification because it is His blood that saves us from His wrath that is still coming. So, then I ponder this, was a person, who ‘lost’ their salvation really saved in the first place? Let’s remember a very important point here, we’re not God. So, if we ‘look’ or ‘judge’ a person on their actions, going to church, preaching behind the pulpit, praying for people, laying hands on those who need it, are they saved by those actions? Remember 1 Corinthians 13:1 NKJV Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. They are not. They are only saved when they confess as Romans 10:9 tells us: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. And after making that confession of prophecy over their lives, they realize the value of what they have, and the love of God transforms their heart. And the first thing a person saved wants to do is ‘change’ their life around to put God first in their lives. How can we see if someone is saved or not? You will know them by their fruit. Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 [a]gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. If we see a preacher, theologian, or anyone who seem to be in the Word but are not demonstrating love and forgiveness, this should be a red flag to you. But don’t condemn them. Pray for them as Jesus prayed for us in John 17. Be of good cheer, He will not lose one. John 17:9-19 NKJV 9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. 11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep[d] through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. 12 While I was with them [e]in the world, I kept them in [f]Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is [g]lost except the son of [h]perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify[i] them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. We have the Word of Jesus Himself, prophecy over us that He will not lose any of us. Join Him in prayer. Pray this prayer over everyone, whether you think they are living for Christ or not. This is the prophecy prayer that will keep us. It will be the treasure we find, and take care not to misplace or lose. And it will be the motivation for us to realize that we have something of value, His salvation that we will always seek when we felt or believed it was lost. Previous Next Home
